The fish and chips is great - crispy breading and good quality fish. The lump crab soup is delightful - creamy and rich with lots of crab. May 17th, was my first time eating at The White Alligator. We were visiting friends in Franklin and were meeting them at The Factory. I am always down for some Cajun food and this immediately stuck out to me as the option I was going to stop for. The selection were really plentiful. I decided to go with the Shrimp Po' Boy because I love a good Po Boy. My wife had the shrimp wedge salad with bacon. The food was very good. The bread on the Po Boy was nice and crusty. My wife was impressed with the salad. I also ordered a side of hushpuppies. I have not had good ones in ages. These were right out of the fryer and were golden and delicious. Atmosphere for being inside a mall was better than expected. Once seated you do not feel like you are in a mall. First impressions are important and the food and service were great.
