Once we arrived we were immediately shouted at to remove our small and discreet bags because we were apparently in danger of knocking the artworks. I’m 5ft so this would be borderline impossible. My husband and I were then followed around and watched by the same member of staff, despite there being about 10 other people there at the same time. I can only think this is because we’re (relatively!) young, in our mid-thirties and have obvious tattoos. All in all we ate between us the two portions of chips which were quite nice. The manager was nice about it and did partially refund us however we regretted going and left hungry. They also offer acting classes for this interested in the world of theatre so you or your kids can get an insight into being an actor. The only problem I have is that the café up at the top is not big enough to accommodate the large crowds the come in during s site and this can lead to you having to stand with food/drink because all of the seats are full. Other than that it is a lovely place with great shows on all year round and that is why it deserves 4 stars.

A good menu, with good prices and a nice set up. However on my visit today the service was terrible. We sat there for 40 minutes waiting for one ploughman lunch.
