Its a grat place to eat and enjoy the sunset. The service is good and the owners are very friendly and nice to talk to. The food is delicious and you don't have to wait long. All in all one of the best restaurants we've been to here on Koh Samui.

Wow found an absolute Gem of a restaurant. Met the lovely owner Steve, (Liverpool lad). We ate here a few times as we made our regular visit when in Nathon Town. My friends had Thai and requested spicy and boy was it spicy, they loved it. I enjoyed the English breakfast and loved it every time, just a little reminder of home. The restaurant has been here for over 16 years and has stood the test of time and seen its neighbours come and go. The reason Lucky Restaurant does so well is the quality of the food and the great service that you get with it. I highly recommend you give this a try, you won't be disappointed.

Lucky restaurant is one of the best places on Koh Samui to eat. Not just for the spectacular sunsets, but also for the delicious authentic Thai food that tastes great (and they serve nice western dishes too). We eat here quite often, and it’s always lovely. Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff and a kitchen that adjusts to our requests whenever possible. And prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Restaurant was empty that day. I guess because of the Buddha festival where you could also get some street food. The children ordered pizza. I am always sceptical regarding western food in Asian countries, but the pizza was very good. The thai food we had was also very delicious and the lady was nice consulting us what to eat. We‘d definitely come back.

Great location and many food options. Came for the Vegan options. Gra Pow Tofu was top level flavor and taste along with Veggie Red Curry Definitely worth the visit. Highly recommended.

A bit ambivalent about this place. If you’re not in a hurry, i think it’s a very good choice. Has a nice sea view, the owner is very friendly and attentive. We did have to wait for our food for about 50 minutes, pictures attached. Others that ordered, i guess simpler dishes came in after and got served earlier than us. I suggest you ask before about time to prepare the dish. Would have helped to get some update about waiting time. The food was quite nice and at very reasonable price. I recommend it to anyone who’s not in a hurry.

A sweet little spot in Bang Makam beach with a rustic but romantic outdoor dining serving authentic Italian menus. Their dishes are delicious and the owner herself is welcoming and accommodating and makes her all the desserts herself - the tiramisu is such a delight. Absolutely worth stopping by to enjoy flavourful pizzas, pastas and seafood. The burata salad was amazing. A nice place for Italian food, coupled with quite uninterrupted beach stretch with lovely sunset views. Additional mention is the owner's playful golden retriever - pleasant to have around :)

Beautiful beachside restaurant. Really good Italian food. I visited regularly during my time in Samui. Pizza, pasta & chef salad were all delicious. I use to arrive just before closing and they always made me feel welcome. Owner and staff and very nice

Amazing restaurant, I’ve been going here since I was little and still up to this day is one of my go to Italian restaurants. It is arguably one of the best Italian restaurants in samui, and the owner (Nita) is super sweet with an amazing team of staff. The menu has a wide variety of foods that is tasty and enjoyable, with a complimenting atmosphere (especially during the evening, the sunset is fantastic)

I accidentally found this place when i’d walked along the beach (bang Makham beach) and met this cute dog was digging find sth in sand and then one staff told me that this is restaurant’s owner dog named Samui and he always find a shell, playing surf. I decided to have dinner here and a food was amazing. Moreover sunset here is absolutely stunning. Will come back again

Always a pleasure visiting this cosy restaurant. I’ve been back over the last 3 years each time I visit Koh Samui. The food was delicious and authentic; and the staff are extremely friendly. Cannot fault the service or food!

We had an amazing lunch here! Great pasta, delicious and fresh salad (cooled), tasty smoothie and lovely desert. The view is simply incredible. Give it a try!

When ordering I picked two mains for a starter and main, with that the staff recommended I had less but I was fine with lots of food. Because they were both mains they came at the same time when I asked for it seperate but that's my only complaint. Pizza I had was superb. The risotto less so but maybe that's because my mother does it best😅 Dessert was amazing too. Service was very very good from all. Would go back if visiting the area again.

Despite the high price point, I really can’t fault our experience here. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent (highly recommend pre booking). I thought the quality of all the meats was amazing - some of the best steak we’ve had. They were great with our allergens also. It is definitely worth a visit - our favourite meal we’ve had!

You wouldn’t normally think of having steak by the sea, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. The steak was tender, delicious, and cooked exactly as I wanted. The service was excellent, too. What makes this branch truly special is the sea view—especially at sunset. Definitely one of the most unique El Gaucho locations!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an El Gaucho steakhouse located right by the sea, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was perfect, with a stunning view of the ocean that added a special touch to the meal. The selection of steaks was impressive, showcasing the finest cuts cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding as well—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, helping us with recommendations that truly elevated our meal.

The good and staff are absolutely fantastic. The food was tasty, and definitely tasted the fresh produce. The staff service was incredible. We took two starters, one main course and one salad ( the salad was pretty much the size of a main course. The manager/owner was very welcoming, and very nice also as we finished and left the restaurant. The ambiance was very pleasant and warm, precisely the kind of vibes you’d like to get in a restaurant of this sort. Very elegant decor. I must recommend the chef starter special - the rib eye “a la minute”. Sliced thin and evenly, done so brilliantly. It’s a must. My husband took the cheese burger because he was in a mood for one, and his reaction was that it was definitely one of the best and delicious burgers he’s ever had. The prices are a bit high, but definitely worth every penny.

Been traveling around Thailand for 2 weeks. This is by far the best dinner, service and atmosphere by the beach I’ve had. The steak is cooked to perfection and the staff are very professional and friendly

i came for a drink on a thursday night with no reservation, there was no wait. the views are stunning. i tried three cocktails and only one (Thai Velvet) was good (thai take on espresso martini), two other cocktails (thai sour and tropical mirage) were bland and unoriginal.

This was really a beautiful location, the views are stunning and the service is excellent. Food was tasty but did not have the depth of southern Thai cooking. Flavoured towards the guests of a continental palate.

Wow wow wow! I cannot describe how amazing and breathtaking Koh Thai is. From the second they greet you in their waiting area to their shuttle to the top. You feel like you are truly pampered. All the food we had was incredibly delicious. The cocktails were very refreshing and sweet and all the little touches from the potato and taro bites were fantastic. Worth coming here. I was the best meal we had our entire trip to Southeast Asia and I’m still thinking about it.

There is truly nothing to fault at Koh Thai. From the very first interaction with the concierge to the moment I left, the service was seamless and soooo attentive. Every member of the team carried such confidence and warmth that made me feel both welcomed and well cared for. The restaurant itself was amazing - the food arrived swiftly, each dish rich filled with authentic flavour and beautifully presented. But what truly elevated the experience were the views: serene, and utterly breathtaking. Dining with the ocean and forest stretching out before you adds a sense of calm luxury that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. This is the kind of place where you absolutely get what you pay for - a polished, high-end experience wrapped in natural beauty. Without a doubt, Koh Thai is the best of the best in Koh Samui. We have been eating there 3 nights in a row the food is absolutely delicious , we have tried all the starters , all divine, Pad Thai is a must ! One of a kind !!!! Every day I had the coconut sticky rice ! Absolutely great , the view is amazing on sea and green hill . Great place , thank chefs for such excellent cuisine

A hidden gem in Samui! The decor is beautiful, and the service is honestly the best we’ve experienced on the island. The staff were incredibly attentive—even asked about our milk preference without us saying a word (we’re lactose intolerant). Loved the matcha with peanut butter infusion, and the latte was excellent. They brought warm bread when I asked about a bread basket (not sure if it’s even on the menu!). We shared a prawn cocktail, and they thoughtfully served it in separate cups. The chicken burger with pesto was a brilliant twist. Highly recommended!

What a gem on this island. Everything we tried was perfect in taste, presentation, right amount spices, quality ingredients, cooking time, combinations. Friendly owner and staff. Music in the background on right amount of volume. Staff well trained well-mannered and polite. Cool deco. Must try chicken spaghetti with thai spices and dark chocolate with orange is to die for.

What a delightful place to visit. From walking inside, you quickly recognise that this place isn't the typical Koh Samui restaurant/bistro. However, please don't be put off thinking that you're not getting the actual, authentic experience, as their food is exquisite and offers a variety of dishes to cater to all tastes. Thai food is heavily influenced, yet it also caters to diners who may not be that adventurous. The venue has a great hipster-type vibe with relaxing background music. The staff are very attentive, and this place is a must-visit, offering surprisingly competitive prices for the vibe. 1400, for two healthy portioned meals, two Chang beers, and two well-made cocktails. Well done, Road Less Travelled team. We'll be back with friends next island hop.

Super chill cafe with great food and amazing smoothies/juices options. Owner had 2 cat hostess 😝 working there and greeting customers. It’s a vibe ❤️

Very warm staff, and tasty food (we got the bean burger, salad-falafel wrap, pho and a couple of matcha based drinks). Stopped by after getting off the ship from the pier. Great decision to do so.

RLT is one of the best on Koh Samui. Peter and Pat who own the cafe are both great guys, and very welcoming. The cafe itself is very stylishly decorated and has a lovely relaxed vibe. The food menu is wide ranging and offers a good mix of Thai and international dishes. The portion sizes are great and the food tastes good. Coffee and cake is also excellent at RLT. The carrot cake and 'magic bar' made by Pat are amazing, I keep going back for more. Highly reccomend. Keep up the good work guys.
