Irish pub
"The Ugly Duckling" is a cozy and welcoming pub with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for solo travelers. The staff are friendly and make an effort to engage with customers, creating a warm and inclusive environment. The cocktails are delicious and the live music adds to the enjoyable experience. The pub offers a diverse selection of liquors and the Sunday lamb roast is highly recommended. Overall, it's a great place to unwind, enjoy good food, drinks, and music while feeling at home away from home.
Great bar in a bustling part of town. 40b oysters which are massive and the best fish and chips I’ve had in Thailand. Great Thai food as well. Highly recommend the “Crispy pork yum”. Only recommendation is making sure the chips are extra crispy.

I was going to eat next door as usual, but it was too full. I came here to The Ugly Duckling, apparently Irish owned and operated based on the decor. This place is very nice. It is very comfortable with regard to seating, air conditioning and free WiFi. I ordered the Full English Breakfast, and let me tell you, it really was FULL. It was reasonably priced at just 250 baht. I'll definitely be back for breakfast.

Great little bar for hanging out with friends, watching sports or enjoying some great bar food. Also live music a few nights of the week. Perfect location in the heart of town, 2 minute walk from the main pier. Love it! 🍀🍀🍀

What a great find!! Came here because they have my favorite beer, 1664 Blanc! Staff was super fun and high energy and the music was great! Will definitely come back again!
Jazmine G — Google review
Really lovely staff. I came to watch the All Ireland quarter final. My heart sank on arrival as it wasn’t shown on the tvs, and there didn’t seem to be anyone in the pub keen to watch it. Once I asked the floor manager if I could watch it she put it on. After ten minutes when a big table left, I kindly asked her could she put the sound on and music off and she obliged even though I’m on my own and watching it. Expectations of an Irish pub met! Lovely staff, and reliable to watch the GAA! The Instagram could be updated more reqularly and music on during adverts etc, but small recommendations! Thank you 🙏🏽

Bar
Hub Sports Cafe Koh Phangan is a popular spot upon arrival, offering a variety of amenities. It features a sports bar with multiple screens for game viewing, as well as a pool table. The cozy booths and tables create a comfortable atmosphere while enjoying delicious food. John, the heart of this establishment, sets it apart from others in the area. In addition to engaging conversations, he also welcomes guests to join him in playing pool games.
Had my last breakfast before leaving Koh Phangan. Nice place that comes with a pool table. The breakfast was good. Just walking distance to the Rajat Ferry Terminal, Thong Sala.

TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR BIKES Rented 5 bikes here as a group, left a passport as a deposit. Prices were very reasonable (250bht per day). Each bike had some little issue such as small scratches or in one case obvious crash damage, but each rode fine (save for a flat tire later). When we returned, the staff immediately picked over the bikes and demanded that we pay for repairs for the "damage" citing up to 2350bht for the crashed one (which had not been damaged at all during our time with it) we were held there for over an hour arguing and missed our ferry because of this. Awful experience overall. Bikes were fine, all had near empty tanks. If you rent from here, make sure you record every little issue before leaving to cover yourself otherwise you will be stuck in a shouting match with the staff.
Kelly W — Google review
We had a couple hours to wait for our ferry, and this cafe was exactly the vibe we were looking for! Free pool, free wifi, lots and lots of food and drink options, chill music, and friendly staff.
Robyn H — Google review
Staff were okay. Turned up at 11:15am had to catch a 12:30pm Ferry. Ordered smash avo on toast which was to come with a poached egg. At 12:06 food turned up instead of being avo on toast it was bread with avo and a fried egg on top. Place wasn't busy at all really, saw 4-5 dishes go out of the kitchen the time we were there. Hardly takes any time to poach an egg and toast some bread. Definitely don't go if any form of rush.
James — Google review
I rented a scooter from here since it had generally good reviews and there is a lot of scamming on this island. I was very pleased with the whole rental and return, I had no problems with the scooter and I got my passport back without any extra payment. Fully recommend based on my experience.
Annie C — Google review
We miss this central place and hope will come sooner then later back again! John is the heart of it and this makes all the difference from other places around! You can have not just a nice chat with this lovely guy but you can dear to play with him a few nice pool-games! Oh, not to forget the delicious ribs ...yummy! My preference! But you can have also very delicious local meals while watching all kind of games on televisions that are all around the places!
Susan N — Google review
Very poor price policy. What they lable 'breakfast', isn‘t really one: For a 140 Baht 'breakfast', you get a simple sandwich placed with a fried egg and bacon. If you order two toasts with butter and jam (40 Baht) and if you then add a fried egg (20 Baht) and bacon (20 Baht), you get more but you pay less. 'Breakfast' (as a meal) is imo a rip-off. Furthermore, the waiter is very unfriendly. Nothing good to say.
Marc J — Google review
Ate lunch here, i guess i shouldnt expect too much from a place like this, especially when it comes to burger and fries, but they were bad and fries definitely not homemade as claimed. Exorbitant prices and took forever to get us food when we were on a schedule.

SOHO Bar Phangan is a vibrant spot that perfectly blends a modern, spacious atmosphere with the laid-back vibe of a tropical island. Imagine enjoying your meal in an open-air setting reminiscent of a rooftop bar in Bangkok. The highlight here is undoubtedly the Peri Peri Chicken, served on an eye-catching metal platter alongside crispy fries, onion rings, and their renowned sauce rack.
Had such a great Christmas meal here. The food was fantastic, everything you’d want in a Christmas meal, home made by the owners. The staff were friendly and attentive and all in great spirits. The owner himself was friendly and came over for a chat a couple of times too. Good prices on a lot of craft beer too. Overall would definitely return.

Whenever I'm hungry, I think of this restaurant. The food is delicious and they also have a wide variety of draft beers and interesting live items.

My boyfriend and I had 2 cheese bacon burgers, and it was one of the most disgusting burgers we ever had - the meat was sour and smelled funny. When we mentioned that to the waitress, she gave as the full bill without a blink. We didn’t eat more than one bite and paid fully. SHAME

Excellent place and in a great spot! We love it in here and come all the time! Always a warm welcome from Franco and his lovely team! The food is delicious, great music and atmosphere! Couldn’t get much better! 10/10 see u later!
Laura C — Google review
It's a sports bar! Upstairs pool room seems to have atmosphere. Few (one on my visit) Thai meal options - instead burger and chips combos are average (mine was cold) Beer warm and they can't do much about smell of sewer in the street.
Daniel M — Google review
If you are on Koh Phangan and want a craft beer on tap, this is the place to go. If you are not into a sports bar vibe then head upstairs to a quieter but lively spatios area with a balcony looking over the street. All of the employees we've met over our several visits were super friendly and helpful and you never have to wait for service.
Martin V — Google review
We had our Christmas in Koh Phangan this year and decided to go to SOHO Bar for our dinner. The dinner tasted nice very close to what we have at home and filled the hole. Couple things happened regarding our order though, as you can see in the photo my prawn cocktail came out the same time as my dinner. We could see that they were very busy so it didn’t bother us.
Archie V — Google review
They have just a beer. And you can’t order, you just need to show them in menu what you want 😅😂

Nestled along the stunning Hin Kong beach, Freeway Bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking a laid-back atmosphere infused with a touch of bohemian charm. This unique bar, crafted entirely from driftwood, offers breathtaking views of the sandbank and creates an inviting space where you can unwind while listening to live music most evenings. With its eclectic decor and friendly vibe, it’s perfect for sunset gatherings or simply enjoying a refreshing drink as you watch the waves roll in.
Excellent location for enjoying the #sunset especially with a 420 friendly environment. The people in this bar are #Amazing, super friendly. Their #customerservice is great! I highly recommend this place for a quick or long visit. I ordered a Mango Shake, it was super #yummy, cold and tasty. Better than in other places. Worth it!

It's a very traditional bar in Koh Phantan, there is a lot of art pieces for you admire, the owners are local Thai free mind people. It has a lot of cocktails, cold beer, juices, lassies and shakes. To eat there are Thai food , fish, salads and sandwiches.... Ahhhtgereare breakfast too.

Very lovely place to hang around, to eat good Thai food, drink good cocktails or cold beer and listening to good chill out music. Great view on the sundown. nice people and friendly staff.

What a fantastic place! Right on the beach, the freeway bar hosts beautiful sunset gatherings with live music most nights. They offer great drinks and food, a shop with thrift items, handmade jewelry and other art pieces, a tattoo parlor and funky decor all of which create a quirky, cool and relaxing vibe for its patrons. Highly recommend!

Bar
Nestled along the pristine sands of Haad Khom beach on Koh Phangan island, Coral Bar is a charming and distinctive beach bar that perfectly captures the laid-back island vibe. Open daily from noon until late, this inviting spot serves up some of the best mojitos you’ll ever taste, alongside an array of refreshing shakes, juices, cold beers, and delightful cocktails.
Coral Bay Bar has the best vibes on the island! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, it feels like home. The staff are amazing, and the view is absolutely unbeatable. Add to that a great selection of food and drinks, and you’ve got the perfect spot to relax on a stunning beach
Ewa — Google review
The vibe was great, but it took our food forever to come out even though there was almost no one there, the people next to us who sat after us got their food first, and when the food did finally come, this embarrassment of a burger showed up. My partner brought it back to the kitchen and it took them at least another 10-15 min (again, there was no one there ordering food) to come out, and by that time I had already finished my meal. And they just made a second tiny burger that was literally cooked to death (also the bread tasted very underbaked). Almost 500 baht for two dishes and two drinks. Not worth it.
Hannah L — Google review
Great experience! The bar perfectly matches the wild island beach vibe, and the view is beautiful. The drinks were well made, and the owner personally brought them to us. She was polite and welcoming, even if the first impression felt a bit rough.
Clément — Google review
Kitty and I, along with a group of friends, decided to rent a car in Koh Phangan and do some beach hopping, exploring the beautiful beaches and famous attractions. We were really looking forward to visiting Coral Bar. We had heard great things about this place and were eager to enjoy its beautiful location and relaxed atmosphere. However, the drive to Coral Bar was a bit of a challenge. The road leading down to the bar was steep, narrow, and filled with potholes. We also found the parking situation a bit tricky. There's a designated parking area with a sign, but it's best to park there and walk down to the bar. The slope is so steep that turning around could be a nightmare, requiring multiple maneuvers. We were unfortunate enough to hit a bit of a downpour on our way there, so we had to turn back before reaching the bar. It was a bit of a bummer, but we still managed to snap a few photos of the scenic location on the way down. Even though we didn't get to experience Coral Bar firsthand, we're giving it a 4-star rating for its beautiful location and potential for a great time. Just be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride and challenging parking.

If someone tell you everything is possible in Koh Phangan, believe it! How could imagine a so big dog, with a so perfect fur living by the beach. Yes here you can and the Chang bottle beer is 60 bath. You understand what I mean. The best sea view with an affordable beer.
Augusto S — Google review
Great vibes, beautiful beach. We rented a kiak and had lunch. There are parrots and foosball table for the kids. Very friendly owner!

The Escobar bar is known for its themed nights where different bands play live music. It's a great place to relax and have a few drinks with friends, or just enjoy the soothing sounds of some good music. The pool table is always popular, and there's no shortage of people who come here to socialize and have some laughs.
Great themed bar. Decor was on point and tongue in cheek throughout. REAL Thompson guns on the wall the staff were happy to show us and let us take pictures with. Cool theme nights including "killer pool", and be the DJ Wednesdays. Has free WiFi, Yahtzee and other games as well, great place to hang out. Clean bathrooms, funny signs, tv playing crazy adrenaline pumping videos and great music.

Mina M — Google review
After reading lot of positive reviews... We’ve decided to explore the place and taste the food. I was disappointed. We were alone in the restaurant, so the cook should have a lot of time to do the best. Ribs were dry and most probably just reheat - cooked a day or two before. Fish was over cooked with a sauce which destroyed the last residue of freshness. So if you’re nearby in the high season - try it. I do believe that it could be different experience. If you’re here in low season (Nov - Jan) - don’t go there!

Swenglish Bar is simply amazing! Sam is an outstanding host—not just a bartender doing his job, but a true-born entertainer who crafts excellent drinks. From the moment you walk in, he treats you like family. I originally stopped by for just one drink, but I ended up staying for a few more. He even invited me to join him and his friends for an English breakfast the next morning, and just like the drinks, the food was fantastic. If I ever find myself in Koh Phangan again, I will definitely be coming back!

What a gorgeous little place. And thank all the gods for the breakfast, a proper little taste of a classic greasy spoon cafe. Had several recurring dreams about the fry up, it was that good. The Thai menu is absolutey superb too. Great for pool, great for cocktails and open all day for food. 10/10. Legendary island bar.

Quieter than expected which to me is a good thing for a chill bar. Excellent Negroni. Very budget friendly food, uneven got a freebie because they didn't have a particular item. Top tier service, I wish it wasn't my last night or I'd be back. Can 100% recommend stopping by for a beer, cocktail, Indian, Thai and English food! Owner is also very personable. 10/10

Red's Diner & Bar is a popular spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an eclectic menu that includes bar grub with a twist. The restaurant is well-known for its big sporting events coverage, friendly workers, and cool music.
The mixed roast is absolute quality. Cooked by a British guy too so knows exactly how we like it. Beef cooked spot on ! 100% recommend if visiting. Chose the right team to have flags and scarves up for too ! 👀

When I first arrived on Koh Phangan in 2008 there were limited restaurants which served outstanding 'farang' food. Now we have restaurants like Reds....Run by popular local 'Red' John, this spot is popular amongst expats and tourists alike. Fantastic British cooking at affordable prices. Top picks: Sunday Dinner, schnitzel, pastries and healthy fish options which are catered towards athletes and active gym goers. Enclosed are some photos from a meal plan that was worked out for my Muay Thai training program.

This is the place to go for an English breakfast! Pork sausages proper beans and yep they have PG tips tea bags! It was everything I missed back home! The Liverpool football memorabilia on the back wall was a little disturbing being a man u fan but I sat with my back to it hahahahaha but honestly the food, owner and location was absolutely spot on!

The only place in 4 months of South east Asia that has done a proper version of a full English. Proper baked beans, fried bread and cup of tea! Good value too 220 baht for the breakfast and hot drink! Just missing the mushrooms for us!

Popped for 2 x Sunday Roast dinners based on Google reviews alone, partner had Beef dinner and I had mixed Roast dinner (Beef, Pork, Chicken & Lamb). Have to say both plates were empty by the end so clearly very much enjoyed it, I will say the beef was every so slightly chewy in the thicker slices but honestly it all went down amazingly well. Highly recommend.

Stumbled across this place on our first day on the island, and returned twice a day, every day, until we left! John and his wife Nut (hope the spelling is right!) were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home, from their wonderful cooking, hosting, to just giving general advice and having a good chat about everything! I cannot recommend this place enough - definitely call in if you’re on the island, I know it’ll be the first place we go to if we ever return! Thanks again for everything!

Sabaii Bay Beach Club Koh Phangan is situated at the entrance of Haad Rin, near Blue Hill Resort. It is a trendy beach destination offering a vibrant atmosphere for relaxation and partying. With both indoor and outdoor areas, visitors can enjoy music from renowned local and international DJs. The club features a refreshing swimming pool, comfortable lounging spaces, top-notch sound quality, and a welcoming ambiance. Managed by professionals, it provides affordable prices for an enjoyable experience.
Had a fantastic month at Sabai Bay! Rented a motorbike nearby but it's very close to town, even better though it's right on the beach. There's a nice pool there, a bar also right on the beach but the best thing for me was the gym they have right next to the reception. I didn't know there was a gym there and I'd planned to join one somewhere on the island but this one is pretty large and has everything you could need in a gym. It was thirty second from my bungalow, I was in there early pretty much every day and then sat right next door for a healthy breakfast. What a great spot, so calm and it really gave me the chance I needed to unwind. I've already booked there again for next year...

Cool beach party place but the music was mainstream commercial top 40 hits remixed, which also attracts a certain type of crowds. You could do better, the place has potential and is in a good easily accessable location. Some underground techno and psytrance maybe?

False advertisement!!! Very unprofessional and unexpected coming from a business like this. They charge 600 baht to enter at 9 pm when all of their online advertising states 300 baht after 7 pm. When I explained this to the staff at the gate they knew exactly what I meant but did not honour their advertised cover fee. Long story short, they will charge whatever they want at the gate. This is what Koh Phangan has become unfortunately

My friend and I had the BEST experience at Sabaii Bay! We couldn’t have hoped to have stayed anywhere better on the island of Koh Phangan! Rooms were immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Pool and bar area provided a great place to relax in the day and party in the evening. And the people made our stay - Per and Wanmai along with all their staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout, always on hand to give us whatever we needed, and tell us the best places to visit to make the most of our time on the island. 10/10 would recommend very highly! Seafood restaurant
Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar is a top dining spot in Ko Pha-Ngan known for its fresh seafood and refined Thai dishes. The restaurant offers a picturesque beachfront setting in Ban Tai, where guests can enjoy candlelit tables right on the beach.
I recently had an amazing seafood experience at this restaurant. Every dish was packed with freshness and bold flavors that truly impressed me. The crispy fried fish with tamarind sauce was perfectly cooked — crunchy on the outside, tender inside, with a sweet and tangy sauce that balanced the dish beautifully. Very great dessert 😍😍😍
Chai A — Google review
A great restaurant with fresh fish and seafood.
This is a very well-organized, cozy restaurant with excellent food. When you enter, the atmosphere is inviting, cozy, and beautifully designed. They also have an amazing garden. We ordered crab, and they asked us to choose the one we liked directly from the water. You can also enjoy burgers or Thai dishes. Reservation is important.
The staff is very friendly and cooperative. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Eskeatnaf M — Google review
The restaurant is very spacious and table are positioned well. There is a great small playground for kids with slide and swing and enough to let them run around. The tartar was incredible and the fish in banana leaf was really juicy. The fish and chips was great and we took another side dish of fries. They had run out of the masama chicken curry but we also took cerviche with mango and whole fish in bbq. Everyone licked their fingers. The cocktails were also delicious. All in all- very high class cooking and not typical Thai style. Good prices. Around 4000 total for 5 hungry people with beer and cocktails. Definitely book in advance and would recommend wearing closed shoes.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Koh Phangan! I’ve been here three times already and every visit was just perfect. The food is incredibly fresh — you can really taste that everything comes straight from the sea. The grilled seafood platter and crab curry are outstanding, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want on a tropical island: relaxed, local, and right by the beach. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel like a regular from the first moment. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Thai seafood and wants a memorable dining experience by the water.
Itai M — Google review
It’s been over a month since I visited, still can’t get over it, Best seafood place ever!!! We got a huge order honestly that was more than enough because the portions are generous, you can easily tell that it’s all fresh, like really fresh, my taste buds were having a blast. The chef has an amazing taste, anything chefs choice is to go to. Enjoy your food and the setting with the staff is a the complete package.
Muaz G — Google review
We were so lucky to have this restaurant only 7 minutes walking on the beach from our place. This was our twice a week every week during our 2 and half months stay on the island. We eat very clean food at home so eating out which we also love could often leave us with low energy after and all kinds of strange feelings. But not after eating in Fishermans restaurant. What I love about this place is the transparency of the ingredients, fresh fish from the sea and not from the fish factory and kitchen free of MSG! The willingness of the friendly staff to adapt the dish to my wishes and needs. We are their number one fans of the Yellow curry which was our regular weekly dish. Their fresh coconuts are also different to other places on the beach. We will definitely eat here again when we go back next year. Absolutely 5 STAR place and service.
Iva R — Google review
I was really hoping for an excellent meal after reading all the reviews and also getting a few local recommendations, but my luck wasn't with me the evening we visited. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I was craving fish and chips after a solid week of Thai food. They used a thin soft fish and left the skin on, which resulted in a less than pleasant meal. Also avoid both the fish and crab cakes. They both used the same seasoning that included both five spice and tarragon, competing flavor directions that overshadowed the seafood. But I had a great time at this restaurant because the service was friendly and fast and they had some really unusual cocktails that were 10/10.

Amazing fish restaurant. . Every dish was done exuisitly and with a lot of thought. We took white snnapers, one fried with capers and other grilled. Both were fantastic. We also ordered french fries and didn't expect it to be so good.

Coco Tam’s is a popular open-air beach bar situated on the picturesque Bophut Beach in Koh Samui, Thailand. It offers a relaxed tropical atmosphere with beanbags on the sand, swing seats at the bar, cabanas, and shisha. Visitors can enjoy chilled out tunes and stunning sunset views over the ocean while sipping on refreshing drinks.
This place is overpriced (in comparison to other restaurants in the area) but its truly worth it. The pizzas are to die for. I actually really enjoyed the freshness and the high quality of the ingredients, I believe the pizza served here is way better than many many pizzas I have eaten before at italian restaurants in europe (& including Italy). The pastas are also delicious, portions are very generous and its very fresh! the entertainment at night and just the atmosphere of the place is amazing & fun. We ended up coming to Coco Tams 3 times during our stay, all those times we had a wonderful experience. The fire show was very cool. The dj was amazing.
Isabel C — Google review
We had heard a lot about Coco Tams and we were very excited to visit and celebrate a birthday. We got there early to spend the whole evening there. The staff were attentive and even when it got busier there was still a good level of service and we were never rushed. The fire show was very good and entertaining, if you intend on just visiting for this alone then ensure you arrive no later than 6pm to get a table. The venue itself is very clean and visually very beautiful and right on the beach. The reason for the four stars is because the food was the biggest disappointment. It was very expensive for what it was especially in comparison to very nearby restaurants in the same tourist hotspot. It was only Italian choices which I was surprised at and I would have preferred Thai food options but understandably they are catering for tourists from all destinations. The food was good but it is hard to go wrong with pizza and pasta. There were a good selection of drinks, including cocktails, which were well made but again were more expensive than other nearby places. It is worth a visit as it has a great atmosphere.

A very happening place, the pork dish I wanted to order was sold out. So we ordered the pork ribs instead , which is very good and big portion, could not finish so we packed it, the next day we eat still very nice . The onion soup, pizza rolls, and dessert tiramisu was very nice. To top it off, we saw the spectacular fire show!
Grace L — Google review
Coco Tam's is located in the heart of Koh Samui's Fisherman Village. It's a great place to come for a drink or dinner and in the meantime watch the fire show, while sitting on large cushions placed directly on the beach. Every evening there are two shows: the first at 19:15 and the second at 21:15. We were here in August and arrived just before 7pm. They brought us into a kind of waiting room upstairs, where we could order our first drink. After about 10 minutes, they took us down to the beach before the show started and we took our drinks with us. The show lasts about half an hour and it is a good experience to start an evening in a different way. Admiring the show has no cost, but consumption is requested.
Silvia F — Google review
Must see fire show. Beanbags on the beach with food, drinks and sheesha service. Bar attached for bar drinking and restaurant above. Everything you need to get ready for the fireshow. No charge for fireshow.. just relax drink eat and be ready. Local street vendors will offer products between shows but don't press you to buy if you don't want.

The atmosphere was okay since it was raining! However, the pizza is quite small considering its regular size and it’s expensive!!!! The salad was nice but it was nearly the same price as the pizza and the portion was small! Drinks were really nice Bora Bora is very refreshing! Overall it was okay just expensive !!

An oasis of cool air and cold drinks on any hot and humid day in Thailand awaits at Coco Tam's. Uninterrupted views out over the water, as the boats come and go and you enjoy your cocktail or anything else from their extensive drinks list. The menu has a good range too, with the wood fired pizza a personal favourite. The staff were all very friendly and happy to look after us as we went through preliminary drinks, lunch and one of the best coffees we had whilst in Thailand. A great place to stop as you travel through The Fisherman's Market.
David F — Google review
We had a good experience, we found out about Coco Tam’s via TikTok and decided to give it a go because we wanted to see something fun. The woman that was working at the entry was a little short with us as well as the others waiting in line which was a little disappointing. Once we were shown our seats the ordering process and service were prompt. The sellers on the beach put a bit of a dampener on the experience, it was something we did not expect considering the venue had strict rules and expectations from the patrons. The bean bags were comfortable, the set-up was unique and I have no hesitation in recommending Coco Tams to others visiting Koh Samui.

Frog and Gecko is a must-visit pub in Bophut, known for its lively atmosphere and great drinks. For a romantic evening, Zazen's seaside restaurant offers an upscale dining experience with a diverse menu featuring French, Italian, and Thai dishes. Le Rouge Lounge is perfect for starting the night with an extensive wine selection. Additionally, Lamai Beach is another hotspot for pub crawls with popular venues like Maya Beach Club and Shamrock Pub offering beachside nightlife.
The Frog and Gecko can be found about 2/3rd up the Walking Street in a Westerly direction, It's a great Bar with great food, as for the food, I consider their Chilli Burger to be the best I've ever had, although, If a little hard to control due to the wooden slab it's served on and being one substantial portion 😄. The staff are very attentive and friendly with a very competent chef. There's a general knowledge quiz on Wednesday nights which, in my limited experience, is normally a sell out and quite entertaining. All in all worth a visit for drinks and food whilst you're in the Fisherman's Village. Please take note that the Night Market has now moved further up the Walking Street with the entrance opposite Coco Tam's.

WooBar in Koh Samui is a stunning place to visit. I highly recommend it. The cost is over a 1000+ baht per person, $50+, which we found worth it. We enjoyed a variety of snacks and cocktails, and they even treated us to free drinks like sangria, which was a nice touch. The tables are situated directly in the water, creating a beautiful and unique experience. They also had a fire show, which was impressive. I especially recommend the tuna snack.

A super beautiful bar that we visited one evening, and were able to enjoy a drink under an open starry sky. The bar is located on top of a small mountain, with a view of the sea. The staff was super super nice, and did a lot to make us feel welcome. We started with a seat close to the pool, but these seats were uncomfortable to say the least, as they consist of metal chairs without cushions. When one of the seats islands became available, we were fortunately offered this one. Our drink was one of the place's signature drinks, and therefore we expected a lot. Unfortunately, we expected more than we got, because it didn't taste very good, to say the least. When a drink has a high price, in my world there is also an expectation of a particularly good taste. And yes, it is probably a question of taste, but this experience did not give us the courage to spend more money, so we left the place again.

Wow what an elegant and beautiful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. Naturally it is a bit priced, but we were prepared for that. Cocktails are amazing, food was good and the fireshow was so wonderful. What a show! Nice DJ playing tunes, we had a really nice evening😁

The views here are actually not that amazing. The way they built it makes it only possible to view in mostly one direction, so you can’t really see the sunset. I don’t think it’s worth the price for these views. The drinks and food are good, and service is really friendly and generous.

● Jan2024 ● ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars I took my partner for birthday dinner. What an entrance, it definitely got a dramatic view. It is pricey but understandable. However, with the price this high, you would have high expectation as well and as did I. Drinks were tiny and it's expensive. We ordered food from the kitchen table. I wanted to have Japanese cuisine from Namu but they wouldn't serve it at Woo Bar due to temperature control of the food to deliver it from the beach to the top. Double cheese burger was very ... plain. I expected it to be a bit more ... wow and delicious. Of course when you pay over 500 baht for a burger 🍔 you would hope that first bite would wow you. I ordered salmon salad 🥗 a bit after my partner ordered his burger. I was told it wouldn't be too long. Also, I thought a salad wouldn't be hard or complicated to make. I waited and waited until my partner almost finished his dish. So I asked staff if she could check the food for me. Not long after that, my food arrived. It was underwhelming. Just a flat smoked salmon in a plate of a siza as big as your hand. I definitely didn't think it would take long. The flavor was ok but ... I think they try to elevate the dish and make it fancy too much. Sometimes, simple but well cook food is the best. I guess it's not my type of food. I like the food that fill you up and you want more of it. I mean ... the view is spectacular. I booked for a birthday and was confirmed for birthday celebration. I thought there would be some sort of special arrangement for the occasion but nothing. I mean they're not wrong. I was in hospitality business and this attention to details would lift your service and guest satisfaction. This is just a friendly advice for a chance of improving the service. I didn't expect to get anything but when I was confirmed the booking, it seemed that they got a birthday celebration note. A card or complimentary drink or dessert for the birthday person would not hurt your business. I mean I went to far less luxurious place and I got more of a nice gesture on special occasion like this. Would I come back? Probably yes, for the view and if it's not my choice. But I wouldn't come back for a drink or food here. Thank you.
Onnida T — Google review
This is the best place I have visited in Koh Samui. The view and food are to die for. The tuna tarter is in the top three best things I have eaten. The servers and the guest greater Amnie are amazing. If you are looking for a great place to eat, visit here.

Magnificent views in every direction, well stocked and enthusiastic staff. I am truly impressed and entertained with this Bar. Genius seating configuration and contemporary design. The fire show is very entertaining. The guys on the show are very skillful. My attendant, Mr. Bank had made me feel like meeting a new friend. Rather than just go into an establishment. His attentiveness and positive attitude is what made my experience whole, along with drinks. Extensive drinks menu. Exotic cocktails. Even Laguvulin 16 and Dalwhinnie 15 whiskey are served here ( hard to find in Thailand). Those two single malts pair well with my Olivia cigar. We were there for two nights and service was very consistent. We did not stay at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about the room. But I really had a good time at this Bar, and would need a very compelling reason to not visit this Bar again.

Outlaws Saloon Ko Phangan is a western-themed bar and restaurant that offers classic pub fare such as burgers, fish and chips, steaks, and ribs. The establishment boasts a great selection of beers and spirits, along with a tropical beer garden for patrons to relax in. With its pool table and cool country music, this Texas-style saloon provides a fantastic atmosphere for unwinding with friends. Visitors can also enjoy the Sunday Roast Dinner at Outlaws for a satisfying meal.
Good restaurant, very good taste of food, variety and good taste every time I come to eat. The staff speaks politely, but the atmosphere is bad because other tables of customers smoke marijuana in the shop even though there is a sign saying no smoking marijuana, which the smell is not liked by everyone and of course I don't want to smell marijuana. The staff should tell me immediately when they see customers smoking, but the staff doesn't seem to have the courage to tell them But everything else is good.

It has been our second visit to Outlaws Saloon today, after our first visit in 2023. This time we brought friends, who were as happy as we are with the food. We have had steaks and burgers, Greek salad and nachos and every dish was terrific! The steaks were cooked to the point, tender and soft meat, the side orders perfectly seasoned and the drinks cold. Outlaws Saloon offers a great variety of food and drinks and a very high quality over the years. Looking forward to our next visit - hopefully sooner than in two years.

I left feeling disappointed. I was expecting more because the good reviews I heard. The Ribeye steak was chewy and not tender at all. It felt like a low quantity cut. The Salmon steak was decent but they could bring a better cut and the sesame marinade was over powering the dish. The french fries were kinda dry. The mesh potatoes, the sauces and the drinks were good though.

The food is really great but the waiters are not friendly . Half of the tables was free but still the waiter didn’t let to take a table I like (although 7 more tables were free). At some tables they have nasty toilet smell and the staff is just not nice at all . Pitty I think better not to come here because of service

However, as a huge fan of Guinness, I'm really disappointed with the Guinness here. I noticed it last time I came and ordered that the Guinness tasted weird, too sour, not like usual Guinness that I usually have (and I have more than once a week, last time was last night). I didn't say anything at the first time bc i think maybe it's something wrong with my tongue. But this time I got the same disappointment and decided to tell the manger. He came and said everything is ok, without any reluctant or didn't even go back to check the quality of the Guinness they sell. They said many customers had it and no complain. He said "This is Guinness", like i supposed not to know how Guinness should be tasted. And, yeah, this will be my last time for Guinness here. Although, food and the waitress are good. But the manager's reaction is kinda disappointed me than the spoiled taste of Guinness. _____________ Nice place. Food if good, although i ordered rare but got a little bit too cooked. They give free rose with the bill. That’s cute especially if you come as a couple. (Which i didn’t lol)

We had 3 cuts of meat which 2 of those were bland but the 3rd was really good. With every cut we got french fries which felt dry and a but old. The whole place was really dark so much so that we had to pull out a flash light just to see the whole menu😅 Overall it wasn't a bad experience (and the waitress even gave me rose to gift to my partner!) but i think they can improve some things.

5 stars ALL THE WAY. I’ve been searching for a good steak since we got to Thailand and this is by far the best meal I’ve had all 8 days we’ve been traveling around to the islands. I’m a picky very American basic eater and this was so close to the American food I am used to, the atmosphere was awesome too, American country music, service was also just as great! My husband said his burger was amazing too, Compliments to the chef. YUM

Haad Yao is a stunning beach destination that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and vibrant atmosphere. With its soft white sands and crystal-clear, shallow waters, it's an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. This picturesque location is surrounded by lush jungle, where you can find charming beach bars serving refreshing drinks and coconuts. As the sun sets, Haad Yao transforms into a lively scene with chill house music playing at various bars, creating a relaxed party vibe.
My favorite beach in Thailand. I love how I don’t need to leave the beach area for weeks. Beach is clean, great for morning walks, quite, massages, rock climbing at low tide, yoga with yoga Matt at Shiralea resort, swimming, rent paddle board at secret place hotel, gym at Shiralea resort open to public, hang out with locals, many places to eat, 7-eleven, buy fruit at the mini supermarket at the end of the beach, great swimming pools in the resorts and great live dj music, cocktail and beach market at seaboard bungalows. Haad Yao has it all.

The best beach in koh phangan . Means long beach , there are 3-4 massage shops on the beach. Plus some nice restaurants and bars . The beach is shallow , depends on low / high .

Beautiful sand, beautiful sunsets, beautifully maintained. Food spots on the beach, lots of places to sit, and sand for days means no need for water shoes. A must visit on this island, one of the best beaches for overall chill vibes and quality of the sand and view.

My absolute favourite place on earth. My second visit and I hope to come back soon. Everything you could want. Stunning beach and sea, several restaurants, massage places and still peaceful.

Update: June 19th 2025. I would not stay anywhere in Haad Yao now. It’s all one big construction site. Every road has bungalows being built, the beach construction is extensive and very noisy…. Everyone one is repairing, building or upgrading everything . It all starts at 8 am goes until 6 pm and it’s 7 days a week. This is a lovely beach however I would not stay near it and definitely not on it. Apart from the loud competition music from the resorts on the beach there is a massive construction project which has at least a year or more to run and takes up 1/3 of the beach area. The noise starts at 8am and finishes around 4 or 5 . It’s awful. They have also run 200 meters of corrugated fencing along the beach front. Dreadful. Update April 9th. The noise has increased dramatically as the construction continues. AVOID. 18th August. I live on the side of the Hill half a mile away and it’s like they are hammering metal from morning to evening with 30 guys . The noise is off the charts . Still a long long way to go . Keep away September 2nd The construction continues over a year to go approximately. The construction company has let the awful fence collapse and now there is trash all over the place. So sad.

Our family loved this beach from the 4 months we stayed there. Usually crystal clear waters but depending on weather sometimes snorkeling can be muddy. Regardless such a quiet beach. Absolutely beautiful and clean. More people near the end of the beach where there are more resort and restaurants. Superb!
Stanley Y — Google review
A very cosy beautiful beach. Very family friendly, although on Wednesdays there is a small fair from expat locals and an after sunset party at the same time. Where we enjoy the whole family meeting the sunset, playing with the kids and dancing to the music.
DJ V — Google review
Gorgeous soft white sand beach with warm clear blue waters on a calm day, deep enough for a proper swim. It’s a long stretch of beach, left facing the sea is busier than the right . There are a lot of people (February) but feels spaced out enough. On a windy day, the sea is still swimmable but lots of current/waves, and the sea isn’t clear.

Fabulous!! Delicious food, great portion sizes, fans everywhere, free pool table, comfy seating, friendly staff Highly recommend the yellow noodle chicken soy stir fry, Thai tea milk, and the fried chicken is spectacular. They could use a few more menus on hand and they only have 2 staff so please be patient as they will get to you. Food comes out so quickly.
Sam P — Google review
I am only speaking for the Thai green curry here, as the starter we had was pretty good.. but I found the Thai green curry to be completely overpowered with Thai basil. I was asked if I liked it spicy, to which I said "yes please!", and yet it was milder than a cream of chicken soup. No signs of green chillies, or lemongrass. The coconut milk was likely coconut water, as it didn't have any creamy texture, was just watery. Just tasted like a Thai basil / aniseed water drink. The eggplant seemed undercooked too, still crunchy. Overall, I was really disappointed.
Matt B — Google review
This was my first time here, and I was really impressed. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful—huge compliments to the chef! I ordered the Cashew Chicken with a portion of rice, and it was absolutely wonderful. Portion sizes were just right, and everything was beautifully prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Mae Haad Tree House Bar and Restaurant is a hidden gem nestled in the Ko Mae hills, offering breathtaking views of the beach and mountains. The food is highly recommended, with dishes like beef Chili Con Carne, green curry chicken pieces, and Japanese Katso Curry receiving praise. The cocktails and ciders are also top-notch. It's a perfect oasis to relax while enjoying modern music that complements the calming nature of the bar.
A must-visit spot in Koh Phangan! This place absolutely deserves a spot on your list. The menu is so unique, and everything I tried was just so tasty. I’m not really into alcohol, but even I was tempted—the cocktail choices looked super creative and well thought out. Pair all that with stunning views, and you’ve got yourself the perfect day. Highly recommend!

This place has a fantastic view and its location is spectacular. We only ordered appetizers and some mocktails, which were super good! The fried vegetables were delicious! the fish tacos were not as expected, these ingredients would be better off as a salad than in a taco.. and tartar sauce would fit better.

It was the best viewpoint overlooking the beach. Quite a walk uphill but worth the effort. They serve nice coctails that you can sip in laying on soft cushions placed on the wooden terrace.

Absolutely gorgeous. We ended our day trip to the beach here for a sunset and some nice food. Food was spot on and vibes were perfect. Only a 10 min walk from the beach, very uphill but well worth it! Would highly recommend this spot. Prices were great considering we ordered almost everything on the menu and split the cost between 3 of us.

You definitely don't want to miss this place! It's definitely a crazy steep walk to get here, but don't let that put you off! Haad Salad Villa is a popular choice for families visiting Haad Salad, Koh Phangan. The spacious and cozy rooms can accommodate extra beds, making it suitable for larger families. The property offers direct access to the beach and is budget-friendly. Guests can enjoy simple yet well-equipped bungalows with the option to dine at the on-site restaurant serving delicious Thai cuisine by the beach.
Pros: Great location, close to beach. Lovely terrace and hammock. Sweet and friendly staff, overall good restaurant and lots of nice cats! Free water refill in the reception. Would come back Cons: Bathroom a bit outdated. If we really had to say anything, a fan on the terrace would have been excellent to keep cool and the mosquitos away (although mosquitos weren’t a huge problem) but we’re really nitpicking here. Everything else was great.

ABSOLUTE paradise, the best beach ever for your kids on this island! All you are here is butt makes babies, beautiful! Ton of restaurants to eat, order anything for your kids, EVERYONE is super friendly here, they address all your questions quickly. You can do laundry here, you can have their or your own detergent. You can order a taxi from here, easy. Our room has AC, has been running for 2 months already, no issues. Love this place!! Will definitely come back!
Olya X — Google review
We booked the night before without knowing exactly what to expect, since everything else in the Haad area was fully booked. It turned out to be a perfect surprise! Location: Ideal if you’re looking to relax on a beautiful beach every day or if you’re comfortable getting around by scooter. There are a few restaurants, minimarts, and scooter rentals nearby. If you’re after a city vibe, gym, or yoga within walking distance, this isn’t the place. But if you enjoy peace, nature, and don’t mind a short (5–15 minute) drive to get around the island, it’s absolutely perfect. Personally, I think Salad Beach is one of the best on either side of Koh Phangan. Facility: Super clean and spacious villa/bungalow — ours felt newly renovated so i cant speak for the other villa’s. We had three beds, a large bathroom with a great shower, lots of space, a small kitchen with cutlery, plates, fridge, and a lovely balcony. The separate sinc and toilet/shower was nice being several people. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. Best of all, the villas are directly connected to the beach and beach bars serving coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was amazing to just crawl back to the balcony when the rain hit! Wifi was sometimes a bit off, but they have plenty off routers/wifi so just ask for the other passwords. We could stream movies almost all the time just switching. Staff: Extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted us with luggage, transport, and scooters — they even drove us to the post office so we could send postcards. Always smiling, and the cleaning staff took great care of the outdoor areas several times a day. Just be aware that, like most places in Thailand, the English level is limited — but Google Translate is your best friend and worked just fine. Price: Very affordable, especially for a beachfront villa. Great value for money, especially if you’re splitting between 2–4 people. Final Verdict: 10/10 – Would absolutely stay here again. Peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for a relaxed vacation. The staff mayed me feel like this was our home.

Location is amazing, right on the beach. There are different types of bungalows, all of them are spacious and clean. Prices in general are a bit expensive for what you get. Staff is usually friendly although they're always changing from year to year. Restaurant serves Thai food.
Rita F — Google review
I stayed at one of the bungalows for 3 weeks and I loved it! The staff are so helpful, friendly, lovely, always smiling and in a good mood. The bungalow was big and had a lot of natural light, AC was working perfectly, it even had a desk where I could work if I wanted to stay inside sometimes. Internet was very fast. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The restaurant serves delicious food and has one of the best views of the sea. I would definitely come back and stay there again!

Beach
Bottle Beach, located in the north of Koh Phangan, is a hidden gem and a paradise for travelers seeking seclusion. Accessible only by taxi boat from Chaloklum, jeep, or a challenging 2-hour hike, this small and secluded beach offers pristine white sands, crystal-clear turquoise waters, towering palm trees, and lush jungle surroundings. While it's one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, reaching it can be quite challenging but adds to its allure.
How to go — you have 2 options start from parking areas. You definitely can’t go down there with motorbike yourself. It’s very steeped and the road with small rocks will make your bike slippery 1. Taxi — around 200thb one way. 2. Walking — take around 10-15mins to walk. Going there was fine but going back feels like hiking. The beach is good. Nice and calm. Not big wave. Not a lot options with restaurants
Yotsakorn C — Google review
Don’t drive it by yourself! Just park your scooter before the 4WD Road is starting or even before the sign. You have to have serious off road experiences. Just don’t risk it and better take a 100 baht 4WD Car down. It’s driving all the time up and down. We walked down around 30 minutes and payed 100 baht pp to get up. If you walk down you have to have study shoes. It’s really slippery (the pictures are just showing the end of the track - so the good part haha). I can’t imagine how it must be on rainy days :D Nice clean beach surrounded by some bungalows and beautiful palm trees. Sea was clear but very shallow around midday. No entrance fee or anything. Some sunbeds available (it seems like if you‘ve ordered something you could use them). Toilets are also available.
Viktoria S — Google review
Bottle Beach was alright. Not the best, not the worst. The beach itself was relatively quiet and scenic, but getting there was a bit of a hassle. The road leading to it is steep, rocky, and not ideal for motorbikes. I actually had to park mine quite a bit farther up the trail because the path down felt too dangerous. If you’re up for a bit of a trek and don’t mind the rough access, it might be worth the visit, but definitely not the most accessible beach on the island.
Fachri J — Google review
A beautiful, quiet, and relaxing restaurants and beach.
This is such a lovely spot where you can spend the day swimming and enjoying food and drinks from the restaurants nearby. You can have a great lunch or dinner here. The beach is very clean, with soft sand and breathtaking views. It is located between two forest-covered mountains, which makes it even more stunning. One thing to keep in mind is accessibility. We were staying on the southern side of the island (the opposite side), so we rented a car to get here, while others came by motorbike. The last part of the road isn’t easy unless you have a 4-wheel drive, but luckily there are 4-wheel drive taxis available (about 100 THB per person). The ride itself feels like a little adventure. I also saw some people arriving by boat. All in all, I highly recommend visiting this area!
Eskeatnaf M — Google review
We took a taxi boat to Bottle Beach from Ko Phangan — the ride took about 20 minutes. It cost 600 baht per person for a round trip because we didn’t want to wait for more passengers (who knows how long that would’ve taken?). It might have been cheaper with a full boat, but at least we didn’t waste time. The beach itself is beautiful, and there’s a restaurant, but unfortunately, there’s not much shade — definitely something to prepare for. The water is clear, but full of rocks, so I highly recommend wearing water shoes. We went in wearing them, but sadly, that still didn’t save me from getting hurt… While swimming, I stepped down once and got stung by a sea urchin. It was painful, even through the shoe, and removing the broken-off spine from my foot was really difficult and unpleasant. On my way out of the water, I saw two more large sea urchins among the rocks. You really have to be careful — I didn’t see any warning signs about them anywhere, which is quite concerning. After that, I didn’t feel like swimming anymore and just sat near the shore. All in all: it’s a beautiful beach with a great atmosphere, but you have to be very careful in the water. Water shoes are not just recommended — they’re basically essential. I strongly advise everyone to be cautious so you don’t end up like me — or worse. A little awareness can save you a lot of trouble.
Szabolcs-Zsolt S — Google review
Bottle Beach in Koh Phangan is a quiet beautiful, scenic beach. It’s a bit remote, reachable by boat or a challenging hike, which keeps it peaceful and less crowded. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy untouched beauty. But it need improvement in Cleanliness.
Shahzad S — Google review
Superb beach, trail is doable for experienced scooter drivers but still kinda rough.
Alex — Google review
This beach is very hard to go to with a moto because of the condition of the road, so if you want to come you have two choices: first, come to the entrance and take a car taxi, which costs 100 baht per trip, or walk if you want to do some adventure (it takes 30–40 minutes) The beach is beautiful, small, calm, not a touristic place, with only one restaurant & bar

I stopped by this charming spot in Koh Phangan today and it blew me away—hands down the best meat restaurant on the island. Their tenderloin was outrageously tender and flavorful, easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The dining room is absolutely beautiful, with just the right atmosphere for a special date night. It isn’t the most budget-friendly option, but every baht spent is worth it for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the Belgian beer bistro. It’s got a mix of differing foods. From mains and desserts. The lamb dish I had I really enjoyed and have a taste of home. There was plenty of lamb, roast potatoes. I have tried two deserts here and enjoyed the both. Belgium waffles and chocolate lava cake. They also have a bar with a selection of beers for those wanting pump beer. Staff were friendly helpful and efficient. The price reasonable but not Thai prices but I have been back and would pay the same again. There is indoor and outdoor seating looking out with a beach view.

I don't recommend it!! The lasagna was probably reheated a few times and inedible, the mussels were okay, and the bone marrow was below average. The service was terrible, despite pointing out that the lasagna was burnt and needed to be reported to the chef, but they did nothing. The Belgian beer was a donre because it was bottled.

(Translated by Google) Ferry departure point to different locations. There are several ticket offices from different companies where you can buy the ticket. We were going from Ko Phangan to Surat Thani airport (ferry + bus). The day before we tried to buy the tickets online with Lomprayah which offers a much faster arrival (3h) and it said it was too late to buy them. We came to the port in the morning (7am) and there were several ticket offices open selling tickets for Seatrans or Raja. There were many free places. Seatrans has a ferry at 8:30 (you arrive at the airport at 1:45 p.m.) and another at 11:30. Raja has at 8:00 and 11:00 Both have prices of 550-560 baht per person from Ko Phangan to the airport (ferry + bus). If you buy it at a non-company ticket office it will cost you 600baht per person (Original) Punto de salidas de ferris a distintas ubicaciones. Notable street
Hin Kong Rd is a lengthy thoroughfare that runs parallel to the beach, offering a variety of dining and entertainment options. Away from the bustling seaside, this area provides an intimate atmosphere with little bars and restaurants where you can enjoy live acoustic music and soft lighting. It's known as the absolute best spot for sunset, featuring breathtaking mirror effects at low tide and picturesque coconut trees. Additionally, visitors can enjoy activities like yoga on the large sandbank or watch locals digging for shells in the sand.
Absolute best spot for sunset. Breathtaking mirror effect at low tide. Postcard style bent coconut trees. Large sandbank with people doing yoga or playing with their dogs. Locals digging for shells in the sand... Also loads of nice bars and restaurants...

During my recent adventure in Koh Samui, I stumbled upon the delightful For Rest Bar, a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise! This charming little bar boasts a cozy atmosphere with simple yet appealing decor that enhances its breathtaking sunset views. Sipping on expertly crafted drinks while watching the sun dip below the horizon was an experience I'll cherish forever. The ambiance is simply spectacular, featuring light lounge music that perfectly complements the relaxing vibe.
I recently visited For Rest Bar, and I must say, it’s a hidden gem! The bar is small but incredibly cute and cozy, with simple decor that perfectly complements its stunning sunset views. Watching the sunset from there was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience. The drinks were superb—crafted with care and absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect spot to unwind during sunset, whether you're on a date or catching up with friends. While there’s no dedicated parking lot, you can easily find parking on the roadside nearby. If you're looking for a charming spot to relax and enjoy great drinks with an incredible view, For Rest Bar is definitely worth a visit!

For Rest Bar is such a beautiful spot to enjoy a delicious meal while watching the sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the food is tasty, and the views are simply stunning. A perfect place to unwind and take it all in.

Everything was absolutely spectacular! Food, service, ambiance, decor, staff, light lounge music in the background.. this place really deserves to be more popular. It's absolutely worth a little journey even if you're not at a walking distance. They also don't add the extra service charges sneakily without telling you like many restaurants in Samui do. We loved For Rest Bar and will definitely be back every time we're here. :))

One of our favorite restaurants/bars in Koh Samui. Delicious food, really friendly owners and the location is great during the day or at night for an amazing sunset. The word got out and it is not a hidden gem anymore, I am happy for them to be doing so well. If you have to wait, it is absolutely worth the wait.

The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the food was nothing short of exceptional — easily one of the best meals of our entire holiday. On top of that, the value for money was outstanding.

This is the cutest and most relaxing cafe/ bar we’ve been to on the island. Cute interior, between palms on the sand with chairs, tables but also cots. So cozy. chill vibes with the music, kind staff, refreshing drinks. The best spots we found just next to the main ring road. Come here if you have the chance!

One of the best places I’ve eaten so far in Thailand - there is really cosy indoor and outdoor seating right on the beach. The staff are really friendly and I mentioned I was gluten free, straight away they ran through the GF options. I had an amazing Pad Thai. Would definitely recommend!

Smashing low key hidden gem Directly on the beach with rickety steps into the sea! Tasty food and a plethora of interesting non-alcoholic drinks as well as with Could happily while away the day in a deck chair here Conveniently a shower and very clean and modern bathroom. Worth a visit
