Perfect family spot – animals, fun walk & free entry! Very good place for kids to see a wide variety of animals – from birds and monkeys to African cheetahs and lions. 🦜🐒🦁 The walk takes about 1.5 hours to cover fully, and it’s enjoyable for the whole family. Best part – when I visited in August, the entrance was free! Definitely worth a visit.

A very good place for family visits. 5 pm is closing the entry gates and 6pm letting everyone go out from the zoo. Around 5:30 pm opening the gates of the homes for animals. Proper time to visit is before 3pm.

The Zoo is well-maintained. Clealiness is 💯, no unwanted smell. We are only half way we can't finish because the heat is too much, definitely recommend on winter for better enjoyment 🙂

I got the chance to visit The National Museum of Saudi Arabia, and I have to say, it surprised me. It’s a great place to visit with your family or as a tourist destination. The museum goes through an insightful and in-depth coverage of The Kingdom’s history, Islamic history, and geographical history. There are lots of artifacts and fossils, accompanied by their respective descriptions. There is an outdoor garden which is a beautiful place to have a walk or take in the scenery. I do recommend taking the green line metro to the museum to add to the experience, as the station itself is quite beautiful, as is the walk to the museum. However take care to go during pleasant weather, as the summer heat can be quite unbearable. My only issue with the place was the lack of places to buy water, although, it can be understandable as food and drink are not allowed past the lobby and into the museum. Overall, I recommend visiting the national museum!

A huge museum complex in the middle of a small pleasant garden. The personal is very friendly and helpful. Main entrance is free, but temporary exhibitions might need a prepaid ticket. The permanent collection is very interesting to visit. Very few exceptional pieces but they are worth the visit alone. Explanations are good, focused on a younger or not so experienced audience. The freshly brewed coffee in the main entrance hall is well worth trying.

One of the best National Museums I visited. The narrative you find here is not one full of pride, but humility. It is a well written history of the region and its people in a very candid manner. There is also a short but sweet part on natural history, though I was here for the Saudi history first and foremost. The exhibition does end more or less when the third and current Saudi state is founded as far as I could understand. There seems to be some free offerings in the atrium and the entry is free for all. Better yet, the museum’s backyard is a gorgeous park that you should spend some time in to relax and ponder about what you learnt in the museum. This park hides an entrance to another exhibition, this time focusing on the founder of the Kingdom, Ibn Saud, which is a must visit in my humble opinion as well. This whole are is just an excellent experience overall really.

Very worthwhile to visit. Learned a bunch about the culture and history. Entrance was free and self guided. Just follow the yellow line through the various rooms. It’s much larger than it looks. Lots of rooms and exhibits. After we finished at the museum we strolled through the park and outside areas. Lots of fun and educational too!

Wow, honestly wow. Saudi arabia is really opening my eyes towards another dimension, I never thought in my life I would see this much history in the national museum of Saudi Arabia. The museum is super clean, well equipped, signs everywhere, employees willing to help you with anything and super respectful and responsive. Each section of the museum takes you to another dimension, plus I had the chance to visit the exhibition of the coins that was in the museum, the guide during the exposition was amazing, he knows his stuff, and really friendly. However, the restaurants inside are not up to par. The only concern is that, given the high entrance fee, they should have provided free rides or play areas for the kids. Unfortunately, everything inside still costs money.

Nice park to walk around but we didn’t see any fountain and we stayed there more than 1 hour. Make sure u bring mada card or small money as they charge entrance 11.5 sar. Inside there is places to eat but very limited choices. Gets crowded and full of kids in weekend afternoon.

Inside, there are plenty of activities for families and children to enjoy. There's a big, colorful fountain with various themes that you can experience at night, making it a truly beautiful experience. It's one of the best places to spend quality time with family.

This is the museum to come to if you want to find out how the third and current Saudi State was founded. While I already read a bit on the history of the Kingdom before flying here, I must say, it is something else to see the actual place where the state was founded well over a century ago. The video inside details the night raid of Ibn Saud as well, which was an excellent addition to the exhibition. Certainly a must visit in Riyadh, a free one no less!

UPDATE after my phone call to AlMasmak issue. My hotel concierge was able to contact them and confirm theywere open. So I went. What a fantastic small museum. An elegant, educational and historically rich museum that tell the story of the reuification of the Kingdom through the conquer by King Abdulaziz.of the Masmak fortress. Even the video of the capture beautifully disaplayed the heroism of hi 40 men in a night commando raid. Must do. By the way the entrance is free.

This museum is a must-see for its historical significance. It's important to follow the directions as you explore; the exit is not easily accessible. The First Aid sign is also the women's restroom. You don't need a ticket; it's free. It opens at 4:00 PM on holidays. If you go at this time, it won't be crowded.

Got the weekday lunch deal for SR 175, and it was honestly one of the best I've had! Great quantities, everyone left feeling full. I am still dreaming about the chan san maki 😍 the date cake was yummy, and add it with great attentive service by Abid, and it was very memorable!

The service, the food, the ambience are unique and amazing. Chef Eric gave us a lot of delicious complimentary dishes, Naja was very friendly and accommodating, and Donita was so entertaining making the Genesis and Dragon's flame drinks. Superb quality!

A good restaurant in Riyadh to serve japanese food. The prices are very high compared to the portions and quality. As for the service it is quite good. The best two dishes are the Wageo burger and the fish.

My preferred Jap Restaurant. Delicious dishes with extraordinary service. My tops: spicy edamame, Kale salad, wagyu sandu, mini wagyu burgers, both skewers, black cod, and banana pudding.

We went there on Valentine's eve as they had a special event. The place was nicely decorated and the lights were dimmed. We were seated at a table close to the bar and our waiter helped us selecting the food and drinks. We had an assortment of sushi and a dessert at the end. The food presentation was simply amazing and creative. We enjoyed all the items as well as the drinks. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Prices are high but the whole experience is worth it

I was very excited to try the Saturday brunch since i came to Riyadh, but sadly i had a little disappointment on the sushi rolls since they were dry from sitting in the counter for long period of time, other type of food were good but very cold (room temperature cold), but when i eat noodles i will expect it to be at least warm. Anyhow, I wouldn't say i didn't enjoy the sashimi platter they served for the table, nor their outstanding drinks and dessert. Overall it’s a good experience the staff were very amazing they offered my baby a drink which she loved. Might consider visiting again.

I found the food pretty underwhelming. The Sashimi was room-temp on ice (principle error) The King Crab Maki didn’t have much tastes and dry. The quality of meat on the beef skewers were very average. The Teriyaki Salmon was over-cooked and the skin was not crunchy, although, the glaze on top was very nice. The only thing that wow me, was the coffee cheesecake with banana ice cream, superb execution, delicious, fine-dine level. Overall it feels a restaurant with fine-dine instagram-able exterior but not a fine-dine kitchen. I really like the service from this Lebanese lady with short curly hair (excuse me didn’t get her name). She’s warm, welcoming, and very attentive.

We visited the restaurant late at night and everything exceeded expectations. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the staff consistently polite and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite staying quite late, we were served graciously and without any sense of rush. Khalid, the waiter who attended to our table, was highly professional and enhanced the overall experience. He recommended the tiramisu, which turned out to be exceptional, perfectly balanced and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning.

Had a wonderful experience at Il Baretto. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The veal and Parmesan rigatoni were both delicious, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Dessert was just as impressive. The food overall felt light yet satisfying. This is by far the best restaurant visited so far in the Kingdom. Food brought me straight back to Italy, absolutely delicious. The pasta itself is sooo good, truly impressive. Staff: outstanding service, a big applause to all of them! They are kind, attentive, make you feel welcome and special. Restaurant is also nicely decorated, and location is fabulous.

It is a fine dining italian restaurant. We went there for dinner and they have valet service which was very convenient. The decorations and seatings inside the restaurant are very warming. The staff are polite and professional. We had a salad, appetizers, pasta and pizza. The food was ok but for a fine dining italian restaurant, the pizza was disappointing. Prices are expensive but again you are paying for a complete experience.

The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the corn salad, calamari, escargot, truffle pasta, shrimp pasta, and creamy potatoes. Each dish had its own unique and wonderful flavor, and the portion sizes were just right. They also served complimentary baguette bread, which was a nice touch. Amazing experience at LPM! The food as always in Lpm, was fresh and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was classy yet cozy. We had a lady from Uganda which was kind of slow, not very "friendly " so that was a bit disappointing. The food is well served but flavour wise was kind of flat.
