A brilliant wildlife park, lots to see. Some footpaths raised so you can see animals without fencing in the way. Very clean and tidy. Easy accessible footpaths. The walkway above the Amur tigers and viewpoint for the giraffes was an added bonus. Plenty of parking available, we spent over 4 hours but with kids you could stay all day. Lots to see and do. Good value for money as well.
Amazing weekend out for all the family. Look for a hotel stay with extra day free park entry tickets because you will need 2 days, at least, to see everything. Park is large, good selwxtion of animals and animatronic dinosaurs. Lots of play parks, soft play, indoor play, cafes and restaurants. Staff in the park, hotel, and shops were exceptional and very informative. Costs are very reasonable for food and gifts.
It's a fun day out for everyone! There's loads of free parking, but stick to the regular car park unless you're staying at the hotel. The animals have big enclosures. You can find the feeding times at the entrance. You can buy a map at the entrance or download the app. I reckon the best way to see the Park is to go right after you get through the turnstiles. Head through Pangea, the dinosaur bit. Watch out for the spitting dino! It'll take you 2 to 3 hours to walk around. Wear comfy shoes. There are plenty of places to eat and picnic spots for the kids. Drinks and snacks are a bit pricey, but hey, that's what you get when you're captive audience! We visited at the beginning of October and saw at least 90% of the animals.
Very good parking and a large footprint. Contains several play areas and eating establishment's. A good variety of animals and good viewing areas. In windier/colder weather, be aware that some areas are closed off and there's a chance you may not see certain animals. Could be better signposting throughout the park in my opinion. Overall it is worth the visit.
What a day! I honestly felt like a little kid again. It’s been years since I last visited a zoo or wildlife park, and I was completely in my element. The staff were so friendly, the animals were fantastic, and the walk-through areas were an absolute highlight. Such a lovely experience from start to finish – I can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic place. Awesome day out, animals look very well looked after with big enclosures, originally went to see Capybara due to an obsessed child, nice little walk around to be within a few feet of one. Plenty put stops to eat or have a picnic. Highly recommend.
Visited many times in the past but this time it was for the Light Festival. Couldn't fault anything. Food options at The Hive are varied and obviously lots of things to do/see - although of course most of the animals were abed! The staff were helpful and kind , even after a long day of helping. Easy to get to and exit - but that's by car. Can't speak about other transport options. The Light Festival is worth a visit; it's truly a 'walk-of-art'!!
Nicely laid out, great attractions and plenty of different animals, it was nice to see them in decent enclosurs. Went for the Halloween event which had 5 sections to find, they was big ques but they didn't make you feel rushed. Will definitely visit again.

I recently tried rifle shooting, and it was a great experience!I had a look around, and they seem to offer a great variety of other activities too. I would highly recommend giving it a go if you're looking for something fun and different. It's definitely worth checking out!
We want to send the biggest, warmest shout-out to the Bawtry Paintball Team! It’s truly amazing to see such incredible community spirit. They were so quick to reply to our request and are generously supporting our upcoming hospital charity event by donating a wonderful raffle prize. Their support is making a huge difference in boosting our fundraising efforts! A massive thank you to Karl and the entire team for being such a supportive part of the community. We highly recommend them, not just for what we know is excellent service, but for their fantastic heart.
The 5 stars is mostly for the activities outside of paintballing. The wall climbing, tree trekking and axe throwing were all really good fun, great instructor and everyone felt completely safe and looked after.
We are incredibly grateful to Bawtry Paintball for their kindness and generosity in donating an amazing prize for our Christmas raffle in aid of Sheffield children’s hospital charity. Their support means so much to us and will help make this year’s event extra special. It’s heartwarming to see a local business giving back to the community and they’ve gone above and beyond. Thank you Karl and the team. We highly recommend them for their wonderful service and community spirit! Here’s hoping I get to win the prize now!
Fantastic place, my son and his friends had a brilliant time and were made to feel so welcome. Karl has also really generously donated some paintballing vouchers to my son Oscar, who is currently fundraising to volunteer in Costa Rica for his big raffle. They really do support local causes as well as providing amazing experiences.
Booked a session of laser tag for my 14 year old son and his friends plus us parents. The chap that ran our session was fab, so helpful, gave us choices and made the game fun. Everyone involved had such a good time, laughed alot and were well looked after. Will definitely be visiting again!
Huge thank you to Karl and the team for donating such an amazing prize for our school Christmas fair! Wonderful that a local business is willing to support us! Really appreciate it and can’t wait to see who wins!
We would like to say a huge thank you and express our sincere gratitude for kindly donating a raffle prize to help raise funds for my son’s football team. Your communication has been fantastic throughout, which we really appreciate. Both of my boys have visited in the past for both paintballing and laser tag, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make it a brilliant day. Thank you once again for your generosity and support—it really means a lot to us

We have been to Brodsworth several times in the past but never during the summer months so decided to go and stroll round the stunning gardens. We were fortunate enough to join a garden tour by a lovely and very knowledgeable volunteer called Jill. Not only did we find areas in the gardens we had never seen before, but we're given the history of the house and family as well. This was made so entertaining interesting by Jill. Well worth a visit.
Beautiful gardens laid out over several acres, with great views. The house can also be toured. There is an on site cafe, with plenty of seating inside and out, however the serving area for the cafe is very small and cramped. There is ample parking, and a buggy is available to run people up the gentle hill to the house.
Great day out. Exploring the beautiful gardens. Looking around the hall. Loved the bedrooms and kitchens. On a Sunday we saw a band. Take a fold up chair and picnic. Really enjoyable cheap day out
I visited on a sunny day in October. The hall is interesting as it was a family home and remains furnished very much as it was left when the previous occupants left. Some rooms look like the photos from Edwardian times, others have a few additions from later in the 20th century. The volunteer guides in each room are informative and engaging. The house opens at 11.00, and closes about 15:30. Outside the gardens have been kept to the same design as the original. I attended a guided walk through the gardens which led by a lovely volunteer who was able to illustrate the work done since the garden started to be restored to its former glory. If there is a tour on the day you visit, I recommend joining it. There is a tea room on site but it stops serving hot food at 14:30, so I missed out.
What a gem! Such an interesting site and thanks to all the volunteers that contribute and pass on their knowledge to visitors. The gardens are wonderful and so colourful, I visited in October and there was so much to see, the cafe was also great 👍
Great English Heritage site. Interesting house with multiple, very knowledgeable members of staff to add even more detail on the house visit. Gardens were glorious. Will visit again next year.
We really enjoyed our visit today. The staff were fabulous. So helpful and informative. We did the house tour and everyone was happy to answer questions and tell us the history behind the house. Very knowledgeable staff. The contents were from the family and the house was full of interesting objects. We enjoyed a cuppa and scone in the cafe which was delicious. Good selection of drinks and snacks, with inside and outside seating. Very clean and well presented. The gardens were just beautiful. So well maintained. Plenty of walks to do. Also a great play area and several areas with task master activities. We will definitely be back. Very interested in going when the music events are on. Lots of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Parking was easy with a short walk to the entrance/exit and obligatory shop!!
My family and I had a lovely day out. The gardens were vast, fun to explore and packed with insights about life back when Brodsworth was lived in. We had access to the house too where friendly and informative guides, helped us navigate the many rooms whilst relaying it's rich history. Highly recommended.

If you love iconic aircraft like the Vulcan you must pay a visit. Great atmosphere, and great tour guides, we had Allan . Plenty of facts to keep you interested for the 2 hour tour. Once the tour is finished you can take as many photos as you wish plus there is a souvenir shop for small gifts etc.
Everything about this aircraft is completely awesome. To be in a hangar with it, to be able to walk under it, see up into the crew area and to talk to people who've flown and maintained it, is utterly wonderful. Well worth the entry fee. I just hope when the old bird ends her flying days in Oct, they will allow entry to the cockpit and crew area as well. Not possible when I visited (due to ejector seats being "live"), but it would be the icing on the cake for anyone who loves this icon of British cold war engineering.
Attended a event here for work. A fantastic venue to engage with clients under the backdrop of the magnificent Vulcan Bomber. All the staff were excellent and provided a great experience for all visitors (about 1000) attending. The gift shop was reasonably priced giving the chance to pick up a few interesting mementos.
An amazing experience, and the best bit of our holiday. Spending 2 hours with the Vulcan was truly amazing. The chap who gave the speech was really interesting and the time flew by (sorry for the pun). I would love to come again.
Dear Vulcan to the sky. Today my wife and I attended a coffee morning in the hanger of XH558. We thoroughly enjoyed our time viewing this amazing aircraft. We would like to mention Danial who took us around the aircraft. Not only was he very knowledgeable but he was also very capable of explaining in a way that was accessible to non-technical people like us. 5 stars to Vulcan to the Sky and 5 stars to Danial. Thank you for a most enjoyable visit.
A wonderful fun and fact filled tour for young and old alike. As well as THE VULCAN there is a brilliant array of artefacts to view. Staff are all volunteers but as professional as any I have encountered. The ladies tend to enjoy the tours much to their own surprise 😉
AMAZING day out for the whole family, everyone enjoyed it from my 80 year old father in law to my 4 year old son and all of us in between. The trip was well worth it and they both got an ice cream at The Doncaster Dome in the end for being good boys on the journey.
Excellent day out covering the history of Vulcan XH558 and also the V force as a whole. Chance to get up close to XH558 and a number of other exhibits (Canberra & Supermarine Swift). Sadly closed at present, however they are still completing engine ground run experiences - get yourself along for a feel of what the vulcan howl sounds like up close & personal!!

I had a great experience at Doncaster Racecourse. The venue is spacious, well-maintained, and has a very decent atmosphere. There’s a wide selection of drinks available, and plenty of food options to enjoy throughout the day. Whether you're there for the races or just for a fun day out, it's a great spot to relax and soak in the excitement.
First visit to Doncaster as an owner and it was a great experience. Plenty of great places to view the races and the food options were excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. There was a tremendous atmosphere and many of the punters had attended in full cowboy attire to reflect the theme of the day. Highly recommend this track and added bonus that my horse won its race. Great day out.
Went to the spooky fire works display night. It was very good plenty for the children, well staffed an organized. The display was brilliant. Getting out the car park was a different matter. but over all was a very good evening.
I sang with Kate Threlfalls Rockchoir today to entertain the crowds 10:30am and 12:30pm.We were well received. Alot of us tucked into drinks & snacks in the dining area in between our choir sessions. Parking was easy and well organised with plenty of staff directing us. It was lovely to see everyone arriving in their refinery on the most beautiful day.
Lovely venue. Great view. Great function rooms. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
Came here for the Yorkshire shooting show 2025. Easy place to get to. Had a lovely time while there, from the vast indoor displays to the outdoors. Had some food while there, well cooked and very tasty! Great cups of tea too!! Looking forward to next year
Great venue for exhibitions. Easy to find and convenient free parking across the road. Spacious area and several bars and restrooms on the ground floor. Escalators going up to large canteen area upstairs with several different types of food counters.
I visited with my brother on the Sunday of the Leger festival for a Sunday lunch and race day. I've been to dozens of courses over the years, but never been to a place with such friendly staff. From entering we were greeted by many people (security, ticket checkers etc), and all were very polite and genuinely seemed pleased to welcome us. The Sunday lunch was high quality food, served by attentive staff. The portions were generous, and there was a level of choice for starter, main and dessert. The facilities on course are excellent. Could have done with more winning horses, but that's down to our useless selections and not a reflection of the course!

Brilliant day out, brought back a lot of memories for my hubby, he enjoyed looking at the vehicles he used to drive. Our guide was excellent and had great knowledge, definitely worth a visit.
Absolute Brilliant Place. The Guide was 1st Class and was Also Brilliant with My 7yr Old Autistic Grandson. Definitely worth the Visit
What a fantastic day out, I visited with my two teenage children, wasn't sure what to expect but we were delighted. Our tour guide Steve was knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. My two came away having enjoyed themselves immensely, the chance to handle real (decommissioned) guns and kit was fascinating. This is not a glorification of war but a lesson and tribute to the bravery of so many people and the work it helps fund is so worthwhile. It is much better than you expect and I the educational value priceless.
An Excellent Museum honouring real life heroes. Wife and I went to the Barracks and have a good morning out. The museum is shown by a tour guide who is an ex military veteran and our guide had fantastic knowledge and insight into all the exhibits we were shown, giving his own personal account on some of them. The tour took 2 hours and there were about 8 of us in our group, 2 of them children, who were very well behaved and interested in what was being told. Our guide interacted very well with them, letting them hold and touch some of the equipment and even wear some of the suits and flack jackets etc. There is an on site café and we were the only 2 in it. Very nice cuppa. There was a few home made cakes, but passed on those, but did have a sausage roll each. Cuppa and sausage roll for 2 cost £5.00, not bad really. Would highly recommend a visit. These veterans do a sterling job. Well done.
Very informative tour. All guides are ex-military - worth a visit but build in plenty of time. 2-3+ hours (depending on your interest). Great value and a unique experience as the focus is on the valour and stories of individuals. Hands on with opportunity to hold equipment - gives you respect for the fitness levels required.
Went today with my 3 year old daughter and girlfriend and had a brilliant experience, steve our tour guide was great he explained everything in depth but in a way we could easily understand. Would definitely recommend a trip here and all funds go to restoring soldiers headstones to be like new as a sign of respect. 10/10 Will definitely be paying another visit and recommending to family and friends.
Visited today. Only the 2 of us on the tour. Very informative. Good to handle exhibits too. Friendly guide with a nice sense of humour. Shop seems well stocked and bacon cooking in the cafe made us hungry. Will be recommending everyone to pay a visit.
Lovely war museum. Keith was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and a laugh. Great how we got to handle the weapons, was not expecting that. Outside grounds could do with improving though and no smoking near the entrance x

I have visited walkers 4 times in the last 2 months to meet with friends for lunch. I can't resist the homemade quiche and fresh cream desserts. I enjoy browsing the gift shop and plant nursery and I have purchased a few items, but I do feel the prices are higher than other garden centres I visit regularly. The landscaped gardens are beautiful and peaceful, almost hidden away and probably not that well known to visitors.
First time we’ve been here today. The sharing platter was DELICIOUS and great value and the coffee was perfect. Gutted we hadn’t room for cake! 🙁 We bought a fabulous tree and pot which already have taken pride of place on a landing and look fantastic. We will definitely be back. Well done. Walkers!!
Lovely garden centre, plenty of little hidden areas to venture into. The Christmas isles are really good lots to look at. The jewel of this place is the restaurant, best steak pie I’ve ever had, sorry Granny!!!
Good size and lovely gardening centre. A bit chaotic in terms of plant layout. Nice restaurant with plenty of seating spaces, pleasant outdoor area albeit a bit noisy due to children's playground next to it (at least if you are visiting on Sunday around lunch). Sunday roast OK, nothing special but generous portion size and good value for money (£13.95) at the time of writing. Big selection of tasty cakes, including gluten free ones. All in all a pleasant way to spend Sunday morning/afternoon 👍
Great array of plants, home ware and food. Cafe is lovely, plenty of choice between hot or cold food. Cafe does get very busy though with not many tables suitable for kids but if you can get a booth it's good. Alpacas in the distance. Playground was good for the kids. Bakery counter was amazing and the bakes were delicious 🤤. Sheds on display with some impressive summer houses. kids toys and book section has a good selection of choice.
I'm a beginner gardener, got lost for a couple of hours between the beautiful flowers and plants. My child loved the playground area and we were pleasantly surprised by cafe/ restaurant. We saw people enjoying their Sunday roasts, but we only had some lovely cakes and refreshments. Staff were very helpful too! We will definitely return another time!
In a word AWESOME. The scenic gardens are just amazing so tranquil it's like being in a different world. The shop part has lots of lovely garden type stuff ornaments plants etc. The new cafe is brilliant light and airy. Food is lovely. Staff all around are friendly and helpful. Signage needs improvement, there is no way of knowing where the cafe is when first entering but it's good to explore. I can't see anyone being disappointed visiting this wonderful place.
Couple of years since last visit and surprised at the new cafe facilities that have been built. There is also a butcher and fish mongers which are missing a trick by not opening Sunday as the centre was busy. Good Xmas display along with usual range of plants.

Great visit! Super friendly staff and a really interesting story told across the site. LOVED the comic book sections on the display boards. Marketing opportunity here- make a comic book story of the castle and it's history as a souvenir book! I'd buy it! Not just for kids! Thanks for a brill day.
It’s a nice castle ruin site. Children love to play in it’s big ground. You can climb into the tower and watch some information from the projector in every floor. View from the top is wonderful even though the tower is not so tall.
This English Heritage castle has a small museum in the visitors centre, staff are very friendly there. The shop contains some amazing souvenirs at a reasonable price. The walk up to the castle is not too demanding, a slight hill. There’s lots of information boards designed in a way to keep adults and children interested. The tower is great and the views from the top of the viaduct when you’ve climbed all those stairs are like a genuine reward.
First time visiting, we will return. The castle is well maintained, with information boards around the castle, there is seating areas for picnics, staff friendly and informative. a lovely little shop and museum definitely worth a visit.
It's a nice little castle to visit. Has lovely surrounding views. Like the idea of projecting the character to tell the history of the castle. But feels like the entry fee is bit extra depending on the place also the indoor needs to be bit cleaned, specially the roof stairs. Overall it's a good experience
Great castle plenty to explore glorious views of the surrounding area from the top of the tower. Has a little museum in the visitor centre too. Dog friendly. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
If you like castles or medieval history this is a very good site to visit. There are informative animations as you explore the keep and an excellent view from the top. The visitor centre has an interesting museum and is staffed by a friendly and knowledgeable team. Tickets to this English Heritage site are cheaper if you book online in advance
Pleasantly surprised how much history you can see and imagine inside the walls and up the tower. Visitor centre lots of info, sadly no cafe but loos, basic drinks and snacks. Official paid car park but most park and annoy neighbours

What a fantastic collection! Being able to be up close and personal with so many iconic aircraft makes a lovely change. Went on a weekend and the team there were so friendly and welcoming! Definitely going back on a few weeks!
I struggled to find something my grandson, aged 10, and I could do together. I saw the advert for the South Yorkshire air museum, and thought we could go there. He absolutely loved every minute we spent there, he was so engaged with the open cockpit aircarfts, to the extent that he videoed what he was doing in the aircrafts and how they operated. When we left the museum, I asked him if he had enjoyed the visit, he said Cooool!
Went there for a networking event and afterwards I spent a lot of time just wondering around. Do much to look at, so much information and on some of the aircraft, you can sit in the cockpit. There is definitely something there for all ages
A lovely, friendly, reasonably priced aviation museum with a lot of aircraft, cockpits, and associated artefacts. An all too brief whistlestop lunch break was had here. Aside from the aircraft and exhibits, the first thing I noticed after a very friendly Yorkshire welcome was a staff (volunteer, no doubt) diligently cleaning the public areas. A good omen of a well looked after collection. Another observation of thoughtfulness is the travelling Scout helicopter cockpit that is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There are no less than 8 Canberra cockpits - one inside and seven in a line under cover. Set around the nearby Lakeside area, it's slightly circuitous but easily accessed from the M18. The hangar space is used to it's maximum so photography may be tricky for the coniseur. There is a sizeable display dedicated to the 1982 Falklands conflict. Some cockpits are accessible for children and adults alike. The shop ( entry and exit point) is well-stocked, and although I didn't have time, there is a tea room. It was good to see they are nurturing young volunteer enthusiasts too, the Mum of one young lad spoke to me about their Buccaneer cockpit restoration project 'XN979' (check out Instagram) Don't forget to GiftAid!
This old place does not have modern well lit interactive interpretation displays, but it has approachable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers that deserve support in keeping this gem of a museum going. They have a vast collection of engines, many helicopters, fascinating storyboards and photos. I could have spent an hour on the Falklands section alone. Even if you don't have a deep interest in aircraft and flying you should go along, take it for what it is and you'll be moved by some of the stories if you let yourself get immersed. My photos don't do it justice I'm afraid.
Better than expected so many things to look at loads of aircraft to see spent most of the day there would recommend had a great time 👍
Excellent value for money, plenty to see, unfortunately we didn't get to see all of it this time due to me having a migraine. But my husband and son enjoyed what they saw. There's a cafe of sorts, serving light refreshments and a little shop too.
Lots to see and do Excellent value for money kids love it I can highly recommend a visit

Lovely place, a bit dull at moment given where still in winter mode, A few paths closed ( seem to be water logged 2/2/25 ) not much in way of birds or deer. Great walk around and a few people about , Cafe area is large but the wooden/metal chairs are too heavy.
I travelled by bus from Doncaster railway station then walked the last 5 minutes to the nature reserve. It was £5 to go in but very good value with expert advice from the lady on the desk and a colour coded map showing the various trails across the extensive area. I enjoyed my visit along the well marked trails but would definitely take my walking poles next time; lots of roots and potential trip hazards. I didn’t have enough time to go down to the far end of the reserve where the bigger bodies of water are but I did go in the hides by the plantation. Back at the cafe there was lots of choice with generous portions and very reasonable prices. I sat in a comfy chair but there was also a variety of traditional tables and chairs. There are no toilet facilities on the reserve other than in the cafe where there are several unisex toilets plus an accessible/baby changing facility. Car parking is available on site. Very good value for money; highly recommended!
This is a fantastic nature reserve. Great for bird watching & photography with lots of well maintained hides within the reserve. Paths are good to walk on, and there's numerous trails to explore. Wetlands, reedbeds, woodland & meadows. After a good few hours on the reserve, there's a superb cafe to visit with lots of homemade food. Staff are really friendly & helpful. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Amazing reservoir ,you could have a nice walk . However the signs 🛑 are not enough to show the way for going out ,,I took ages to find the right direction ⬆️😔⬆️ I wish provide that fantastic place with telephone for emergency and increase the numbers of signs and show directions.Thank you
Came here during summer holidays, really enjoyed the walk and all the lovely sights. Managed to see several different species of bird and a couple of predatory birds, maybe buzzards. The cafe is well priced with a nice range of drinks and light bites.
Beautiful little nature reserve nestled between the motorway and railway tracks. A real hidden gem though. The paths are easy going, the staff at the visitor centre were so helpful and friendly as well, really made us feel welcome. If you are into your birds we saw a murmuration of starlings, little egret, shelduck, shovellers, Pochard and loads of grey herons to name just a few.
Really friendly staff and very helpful, and the facilities are immaculate. The scones are irresistible. Coach parking available. 5stars from me.
Lovely nature reserve and great visitor centre.

A fantastic little farm. Added bonus with a good soft play for the smaller ones and a large bounce castle. Great for feeding the animals and 2 good playgrounds. The cafe is really nice with reasonably priced food. The toddler group is brilliant. Different theme every week where you do a farm activity and a craft - really good value. We've been to two. Lambing week where we fed a lamb and horse week where we brushed two ponies.
Great family location for something to do. Arrived with plenty of parking considering it was peak time, as it was spring there were baby pigs, lambs and goats to see, bouncy castle, soft play is small and can get busy but kids enjoyed it, didn't use the cafe as the kids enjoyed a picnic but menu seemed reasonable and good choices, cakes and coffees available with snacks also. Small gift shop but a good choice of different range priced gifts. Ice creams were huge so a small is more than enough, plenty of places to wash hands to keep clean, mini tractors 🚜 for the kids to ride but can get busy. Great sized park but my two enjoyed the hay most of all, interactive with the animals really broke up the day and lots of photo opportunities. Over all the prices were more than acceptable and the staff are wonderful. We moved our day due to a sick child which wasn't an issue for staff and gifted some food as one parent with that child didn't make it in the end. Really appreciate the thought from the team and all pleasant to talk to. Amazing 🤩 Yes I'd recommend, take your time, don't rush and just let the kids be kids.
Fantastic day out at Boston Park Farm! My 5-year-old had the best time with the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, slides, and friendly farm animals (the rabbits and pigs were his favourite!). The little shop with coffee, lattes, and juice was a great bonus — perfect spot for families.
Brought our Grandson for the pumpkin picking. We have never been before and it was a lovely little farm. Lots of things to do from riding little tractors and diggers, bouncy castle, sand, maize maze, feeding the animals , making a magic potion. We had some lunch there too although just before 12 it was rather chaotic and we was left waiting for a hot drink and had to go back up a couple of times but we still had a fantastic day and it was definitely value for money
The park was smaller than i thought it was going to be but that suited us. My great granddaughter loved the park ,play houses and large sandpit. Im very sorry to give a negative review for the cafe but everything was cold and unedible the bacon was so hard i couldnt bite it at all. Sorry. Back to the farm they have quite a few animals but unfortunatly my gr8 grandaughter wasnt interested in the animals just the play areas but she is only 21/2 lol i will go back it was a lovely day out. We only travelled from scunthorpe so not too far away
We visited here on a hot day in the summer holidays. Definitely aimed at under 10's and as many play areas as there are farm animals, but our 5 year old wasn't complaining! The animals that are there well worth seeing though. The piglets being especially cute. Plenty of grass areas and benches to picnic but the cafe served decent looking food at standard prices. The maize maze was huge and had things to find for the kids to get sweets at the end. As clean as could be expected considering the amount of children running around and good hand washing stations. A full day there might be tricky but even a few hours are still worth it for the cheap entry cost.
I think some of the animal facilities are poor. Donkey area bare no grass just a small sparse miserable looking place. Cafe food poor and overall very pricey. I just feel a bit sad for some of the animals it didn’t feel like they weee at the heart of best interests.,
Great family day out lots to do and very reasonably priced £15 2 adults and 1 child. The park had great facilities and the animals were well cared for. Nice open space near the outdoor playground which will definitely use in summer. Lots of animals cows, piglets, turkeys, goats and lots more. The animal centre was great we’re children can hold rabbits and stroke them. My son loved the sand pit which was indoors and lots of fun. I have given a 4 star because I couldn’t give 4.5 the only thing I felt let it down was the cleanliness of the restaurant, now to be fair it was very busy and I have to say the food was lovely but we had dirty plates on our table when we sat down and asked for the table to be cleaned several times. This small glitch certainly wouldn’t put us off revisiting.

Great place for retail therapy, with large range of outlet stores with reduced prices including M&S, Pavers, Sketchers, Mountain Warehouse, and many others. There are also two different play areas to keep the kids happy, toilets, and cafe’s.
A small to medium outlet. Alot of the shops have reduced priced items. There are places to eat, places to sit with plenty of benches, toilets and some children's play areas. Free parking available. The shops are all ground floor, so suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Some shops are dog friendly too, look for the paw print on the window showing the information. I found most are. Weirdly you cannot take dogs into the toilet. This makes it difficult for single people travelling with dogs to use the toilet, as its not always appropriate to leave a dog in a parked car. Still, a great stopping place especially on a long journey.
Nice place to walk around. Great disabled toilets which were super clean. One shop I couldn't get in(wheelchair users) no staff helped so came straight back out. Plenty of places for the kids to play. Seating was plentyful too.
Lakeside Village Outlet in Doncaster is a great place to spend anything from a quick hour to a full day of shopping. There’s a really good range of well-known brands, from clothing and shoes to homeware and gifts, so there’s plenty to browse. The food options are varied too — whether you’re looking for a quick coffee, a light bite, or something more filling, there’s something to suit everyone. The site is clean, easy to navigate, and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it enjoyable to walk around. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it, which is always a bonus. Overall, a lovely shopping experience with lots of choice, good facilities, and a welcoming feel. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
★★★☆☆ Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping is a pleasant, clean, and easy-to-navigate retail park located just outside Doncaster town centre. It offers free parking and a relaxed, open-air layout, making it convenient for a casual shopping trip. The centre features a medium number of stores, including well-known brands like M&S Outlet, Next Outlet, Clarks, and Crew Clothing . While these are solid choices, the overall variety feels somewhat limited, especially if you're seeking a broader range of fashion or lifestyle options. The discounts are decent, but not always significantly better than standard high street sales. On the positive side, the outlet is family-friendly and dog-friendly , with amenities like clean restrooms and several spots for a coffee or snack, such as Costa and Greggs. The atmosphere is calm, and it's rarely overcrowded, which adds to the comfort of the visit. However, if you're looking for a more extensive shopping experience with a wider selection of brands and eateries, you might find Lakeside Village a bit underwhelming. It's suitable for a quick visit or if you're in the area, but perhaps not worth a dedicated trip solely for shopping.
It's a pretty diverse option for a day out in all fairness as it's got shops with a little "Junction 32" vibe - without the overwhelming ammount of stuff going on. There can be events and displays but nothing too intrusive as far as I've experienced thus far. The ability to stroll out and around the Lakeside really makes it, and also being able to visit a humongous B&M is also a great addition to a shopping trip as, well... It's B&M.
Really nice soup plenty to view. Milka bars are really good value! Cadbury stuff is slightly expensive and misshapes are a let down for price as just one sweet!! However worth a visit if nothing else
Couldn't believe it, a Luke 1977 store at the Doncaster Lakeside. Full of fantastic clothing you usually only see online and incredible savings to be had. What can I say about Tom the manager and Kyri his assistant, fabulous service.

Went to see the 1922 silent film, Nosferatu, loosely based on the Bram Stoker classic, Dracula. The music accompaniment was written and performed by Chris Green, one half of the very accomplished folk duo, GreenMattews. Chris had captured the atmosphere of the film perfectly, and whole performance was really enjoyable. Regarding the Cast, this is a beautiful modern theatre, with 2 performance spaces. The first is 'The Main Space', which is the actual theatre for touring plays and musical performances. The 2nd space, or Studio, is a smaller venue for performances of a more specialised nature, or perhaps more limited audience. It was here that I saw Nosferatu. I was pleasantly surprised by one great improvement since my last visit. Then I watched a film while sitting on a bench which by the end of the show was very uncomfortable. An experience I wouldn't really wish to repeat, had I not wanted to see Nosferatu. However, on arrival I discovered proper theatre seats, which greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the performance. In short, the Cast is a great theatre! Parking is also very close by and cheap, apart from the night I went when I found the carpark I went to was shut, but that's another story...
Lovely modern theatre. Not huge and not small and cramped. Seats are comfortable even for my long legs, although a 6 foot odd guy near me did struggle a little. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice ice cream in the interval too. Will look for other events here in future.
Great venue. Great view from the balcony. Unobstructed views and plenty of leg room. Seats are a bit "pinchy" if you're wide in the hips like me and the patrons who go here love to queue in a single line for the bar which can cause unnecessary delays. That said, one and a half thumbs up from me!
Fabulous production. Last night I went to see Blood Brothers,a west end production touring the country. Absolutely class. So pleased we are getting top notch shows in Doncaster. Theatre is excellent and can easily cope with the capacity.
Its a nice theatre, decent selection in the bar, including food. Speed at which one gets served is incredible. So even with large queue we didn't wait long. Plastic cups could be better I suppose.. play was.. well, ok.
This is a beautiful venue, with very friendly and helpful staff Lots of parking nearby (the council car parks are cheap after 6pm)
Visited for a sold out matinee performance of Blood Brothers. On arrival to a madhouse foyer. Long queues to the bar/cafe part. Soon opened up the 2 entrances into the theatre for the performance. No problems only the orderly queueing. Excellent performance. Well done.
A good venue, set in a lovely open square. It is worth a visit.

It's a really nice space, much used and very well cared for by the volunteers. I took my litter picker upper, aspiring to a place in the pantheon. There's also an excellent, authentic 1950s style café open in the mornings with all appropriate delicacies - Perfect.
Nicely landscaped park with a lake. Fishing possible. Small basic but popular cafe, play areas, picnic areas, two car park. Close to KFC and Mcdonalds. Occasional fairground and open air concerts/events
I love this park, I feel instant instant calm with all the beautiful trees. It's well kept & enjoyable all year round, I've seen squirrels & a fox as well as a variety of wild birds. It's great for families & dog walkers.
Plenty of parking, they do events ALOT it's great to follow them on Facebook. This time when we visited there was a little fair, some stalls, mascots, bouncy castles, food outlets and some portaloos. There's plenty of parks/ play areas for little ones. Didn't get a 5 due to the toilets at sandal park not actually being open. Would of made sense if the facilities were open now it's coming into summer or when events are on .
came here for a walk yesterday in the afternoon after a long drive . it was very nice and relaxing . not many people around 2-3 pm in a weekday , and many goose and ducks to feed. there is a big lake to walk around and lots of small play parks for kids
Very nice walk around the park. With plenty of fields adjoining the lake walk. Pram / wheelchair friends walk. Plenty of ducks and wildlife to see. There is free parking which can get quite busy at times. There is a small cafe serving a selections of snacks and drinks. Would highly recommend. Update. Spring 2024 The temporary bouncy castle guy that attends most weekends is a good addition. Was only £3. Recent surfacing works are looking good.
Credit to Doncaster Council and FOSP. Well kept with an eclectic collection of plants and wildlife. I just wish people would respect this little gem more, just take your litter home, if you can’t manage to put it in the bin. There are plenty of bins available. Wonderful children’s play area, a café, plenty of parking. And public toilets, renovated by the friends of Sandall Park. The tarmac pathways are wheelchair friendly, and I must say it was well manicured. Thanks to Dmbc . I will be returning with a litter picker.
Always a lovely, well maintained park to take my grand daughter come rain or shine. The menagerie of birds is great for little ones to feed seed, 2 playgrounds to play on and big fields for sports. Just amazing local resource

As a regular visitor, I genuinely enjoy the experience of going to the Eco-Power Stadium, home of Doncaster Rovers. It's a venue that truly feels like a modern home for the club and a great place to watch the football. The stadium's facilities are top-notch. Having moved from the old Belle Vue, the Eco-Power Stadium is a breath of fresh air. The seats are comfortable, and crucially, the sightlines from pretty much anywhere in the ground are excellent. You feel close to the action without being cramped, which is a significant improvement on many older grounds. There's plenty of legroom, even for taller individuals, which is a small but often overlooked detail that makes a big difference over 90 minutes. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the stadium are also commendable. From the concourses to the toilets, everything always appears well-maintained and tidy. This contributes significantly to a pleasant matchday experience, rather than feeling like you're in a neglected facility. I particularly appreciate the modern amenities. The food and drink kiosks are efficient, reducing long queues, and while stadium food can be pricey everywhere, the quality here is decent enough for a matchday snack. Access to and from the stadium is also relatively straightforward, with good road links and ample parking, even if you need to factor in a bit of a walk from some car parks. For me, the atmosphere generated by the Rovers faithful, particularly in the Black Bank (South Stand), truly makes the Eco-Power Stadium come alive on matchdays. While it's a modern bowl design, which some argue can mute sound, when the crowd gets going, it can be incredibly loud and passionate, creating a proper home advantage. It’s a place where you feel part of something bigger, cheering on your team. Beyond football, it's clear the stadium is a multi-purpose venue, and it hosts various events throughout the year. This versatility is good for the town and ensures the facility is well-utilized. The "Eco-Power" branding, while purely a sponsorship, also subtly aligns with Doncaster's broader environmental goals, adding a modern and somewhat forward-thinking feel to the place. In short, the Eco-Power Stadium provides a consistently enjoyable and comfortable environment to watch Doncaster Rovers. It’s a well-designed, well-maintained, and well-run venue that truly enhances the matchday experience. It’s not just a place to watch a game; it's a proper modern home for the club that I genuinely like visiting.
For a new stadium, not bad Visited to watch the Grimsby game, good catering options in the James Coppinger stand. Small queues for beer and a good selection Food options were tasty, with the bowls of chips seemingly popular Short walk to your pitch side seat..... Lower league football is great to get close to the team. May it continue for a long time
Decent little stadium with ample parking. Was there for my sons athletics meet for quite a few hours during torrential rain, but the stadium was comfortable and well sheltered with decent amenities on site.
A very neat modern build. All seated. Good view from all stands. Helpful and friendly stewards. Food outlets offer a decent choice (non-cash only). Nearby food outlets do not permit matchday parking. We walked 1.5 miles from a hotel, but didn't see any obvious parking facilities near the ground.
What a pleasure it was to come here as a Louis Tomlinson fan! The stadium is truly beautiful. We stopped by the shop to buy a Doncaster souvenir, and the staff were very kind! The place is clean, charming, and easy to access. I highly recommend it.
Pre season friendly good to be back, new tannoy system seems to be up to the job ready for the season to start next week
Brilliant afternoon out with some of the fam! Always time our trip up north with a home game. Brilliant atmosphere. CoYR!!!
Watched Northampton take on Doncaster Rovers where the home team took the lead. ‘Shoe Army’ came back to a 1-2 victory through great football! I was impressed with Doncaster Rovers stadium and facilities no complaints and a good day was had by all visitors.
