Factory Outlets
Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping is a well-known outlet mall with over 45 stores offering discounts of up to 60 percent off every day. The mall has a wide range of shops, including men's, women's and children's fashion, sportswear, gifts and accessories. It is located close to a pub and there is usually something happening for families to enjoy in the summer.
Great place for retail therapy, with large range of outlet stores with reduced prices including M&S, Pavers, Sketchers, Mountain Warehouse, and many others. There are also two different play areas to keep the kids happy, toilets, and cafe’s.
Richard U — Google review
A small to medium outlet. Alot of the shops have reduced priced items. There are places to eat, places to sit with plenty of benches, toilets and some children's play areas. Free parking available. The shops are all ground floor, so suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Some shops are dog friendly too, look for the paw print on the window showing the information. I found most are. Weirdly you cannot take dogs into the toilet. This makes it difficult for single people travelling with dogs to use the toilet, as its not always appropriate to leave a dog in a parked car. Still, a great stopping place especially on a long journey.
R J — Google review
Nice place to walk around. Great disabled toilets which were super clean. One shop I couldn't get in(wheelchair users) no staff helped so came straight back out. Plenty of places for the kids to play. Seating was plentyful too.
Tracy W — Google review
★★★☆☆ Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping is a pleasant, clean, and easy-to-navigate retail park located just outside Doncaster town centre. It offers free parking and a relaxed, open-air layout, making it convenient for a casual shopping trip. The centre features a medium number of stores, including well-known brands like M&S Outlet, Next Outlet, Clarks, and Crew Clothing . While these are solid choices, the overall variety feels somewhat limited, especially if you're seeking a broader range of fashion or lifestyle options. The discounts are decent, but not always significantly better than standard high street sales. On the positive side, the outlet is family-friendly and dog-friendly , with amenities like clean restrooms and several spots for a coffee or snack, such as Costa and Greggs. The atmosphere is calm, and it's rarely overcrowded, which adds to the comfort of the visit. However, if you're looking for a more extensive shopping experience with a wider selection of brands and eateries, you might find Lakeside Village a bit underwhelming. It's suitable for a quick visit or if you're in the area, but perhaps not worth a dedicated trip solely for shopping.
Simon — Google review
Nice place for coffe while waiting for car at Autoglass staff were superb. Coffee and lemon drizzle..tasty
John W — Google review
It's a pretty diverse option for a day out in all fairness as it's got shops with a little "Junction 32" vibe - without the overwhelming ammount of stuff going on. There can be events and displays but nothing too intrusive as far as I've experienced thus far. The ability to stroll out and around the Lakeside really makes it, and also being able to visit a humongous B&M is also a great addition to a shopping trip as, well... It's B&M.
Turdel W — Google review
First time visitor. I was impressed. Good range of shops and places to eat and drink. Bought things from 3 places (tent, suitcase and suit). Will definitely be going again.

Parking is free and plenty of spaces. Good range of stores under cover without being closed in. Great place to meet friends for a catch up and have coffee and cake.

Frenchgate Shopping Centre, located in Doncaster, has been a popular destination since 1968. With over 120 stores including renowned brands like Debenhams and TK Maxx, it offers a diverse shopping experience. The center underwent a major redevelopment and now features a food court, rooftop parking, and The Mallard pub. Visitors can explore various dining options and entertainment venues while enjoying the wide range of shops available.
Cosmo...delightfull experience ...all you can eat and you have various cuisines...verry yammy...highly recommended!

Decent shopping centre, good look and feel, but quiet, not too many shoppers and few shops have closed down. Sad reality of shopping centres unfortunately. The centre is clean, good selection of shops but as mentioned above, some closed down. Overall a good experience, clean, plenty of parking and right in the centre of city
Osman K — Google review
The most depressing place I have ever been. I try to avoid going there. We were paying on the exit line while we are leaving the car park before. It was convenient and easy. This is gone. They ask you what time you arrived on the machines to charge you accordingly. They know actually when exactly you arrived. But don't tell you. First to play the game of you being unable to remember your exact entrance time and paying for longer duration. Second, to hope you don't remember your exact time and enter less time so that they can charge you with a lovely 100 Pounds ticket. These evil plans are truly disgusting.
Serhat S — Google review
Nice if you don't want to sit down and want to carry your rubbish around with you while you shop! They have they taken out most seating. Took the time also to block off the closed burger king area where there was seats. God forbid anyone to sit down in that area. They then might have to clean the area. All bins removed except at the entrances! Wouldn't want to give the staff some work to do! Penny pinching/money saving at its best at the expense of shoppers. Disgusting. No thought for the shoppers. No wonder less people go up the high street!
Pal — Google review
A middling shopping Mall with some variety of retail premises. Sadly the whole experience is undermined by slovenly and unprofessional, barely uniformed security staff who overtly racially profile visitors. When asked for an SIA number to make a complaint they illegally cover and hide their SIA badges and refuse to identify themselves, which legally MUST be on display at all times and produced on request. As a former security professional I am aghast at the level of unprofessionalism I witnessed today. I will be taking this issue to the SIA and reporting this and other VERY concerning allegations about the individual I was dealing with, made by bystanders to the Police and the SIA.
David — Google review
Frenchgate was recommended and I looked forward to a shopping spree. I am disabled. My son was driving and thought the rooftop carpark would suit me best. Parked in a disabled space. The nearest door to the shops had no ramp so we went to nearest the other way where there was a ramp. Great! The lift was out of order Grrrrrr. Ok there were probably other lifts but this place didn't say 'disabled friendly' to us. Patience isn't my son's best trait, having negotiated traffic and poor signage on our first visit to Doncaster, we had to pay the minimum charge of £1.70 to leave the carpark. Then we went home to Selby. Waste of a morning. We will not be visiting Doncaster again. Gave it one star as couldn't give it none. Thanks Doncaster. Going to York next time.
Janice W — Google review
Passed by today & enjoyed some samples. Went ahead with ANDREEA assisting us. After more samples, I chose one. Very happy with my purchase. I'd recommend buying from them. Scent is quality, very good choice for both male & remales. Cherry on the top is the bottles are crafted to look good on display.
Nikki K — Google review
Decent variety and mix of shops, I particularly liked its connection to the train and bus stations. Had a nice time strolling around when I had to suddenly change travel plans. Was surprised by how early the shops close. After 18.00 on a week day the place was eerily quiet.

Doncaster Market is a bustling hub of activity, offering a wide variety of goods and services. The Wool Market is the largest market hall, featuring an array of items from carpets to phone accessories, as well as hairdressers and cobblers. The Irish Middle Market hosts florists, army supplies, artists, and even a Reiki and massage specialist. Meanwhile, the Outer Market boasts long-standing traders offering haberdashery, clothing, and flowers.
Only accept Cash. Cheap seafood and rare in uk
Hey L — Google review
Though like many markets it's a shadow of it's former self. There are still many traders. There's an excellent choice of fresh meat and there is a first class fresh fish market. Prices are very reasonable and the traders friendly.
C K — Google review
Hardly no stalls in our market the ones that are their are carrying it since it was leased out by the doncaster council there was a waiting list of 3 years just to get a stall now rent holders are paying £800 per month plus electricity bill and the front stalls are a grand a month. They wonder why the market stalls are empty look no further than the leasers they can't understand southern prices and it looking half empty isn't going to increase their revenue or keep the grafters that are there in a job it's clear to have a full market it's more profitable to the stall holders and the leasing company but they are just in their own world.
Matt — Google review
A fantastic variety of fresh meats, pies, fish, flowers, fruit and vegetables, continental foods and cafes plus bargain clothes, fancy goods and gifts. Great value and atmosphere.
Matthew C — Google review
Not what it was. Visited today specifically hoping to get a crab or even some mussels. The yorkshire coast is the biggest shellfish fishery in Europe. Not one of the fishmonger stalls had a crab or any mussels. Noticed there werent as many stalls as there used to be as well. Parking was good though £1.50 for the hour.
Goolie — Google review
Used to live in Doncaster 45 years ago. I remember the market to be much bigger n more hustle and bustle as you see in eastendes 😁 it's all been done up, but lots of empty stalls both inside the market and inside the corn exchange. Such as shame but sadly sign of the times. Great memories
Ali M — Google review
Doncaster markets are the best in Yorkshire At one time quite a few Cities and towns had similar markets but were shut down by the different councils some I bet were listed buildings you buy a listed property you need permission to change a light bulb but because the council wants the council gets they have ruined most of the Cities and towns in Yorkshire. But not Doncaster it's fairly like it was fifty years ago. Please leave Doncaster alone so someone can say the same in fifty years time ❤️❤️❤️
Brendan J — Google review
It's a good market with separate areas including a meat and fish area, , although it is better than some other local markets it's a shadow of its former self with stalls severely cut in number. Although what remains are decent quality vendors with some really good items

Wheatley Centre Shopping Park is a convenient and user-friendly shopping destination with a decent selection of stores catering to various needs, from clothing retailers to grocery stores. The layout makes it easy to navigate between shops without hassle. Visitors can find popular stores like M&S, Next, TK Maxx, Matalan, Poundland, Jollyes Pet Food, and Card Factory in close proximity. Additionally, there are food options such as Greggs and an amazing burger and hot dog stand.
To people that get trapped there , simply avoid overcrowding hours. For free parking there is no need for traffic marshals. Would be nice a website of this place to find what shops are there new to open or changes or maybe some incidents. Overall the place has good shops. 👍👍👍
Mircea D — Google review
The problem with the shopping centre is the car parking limited time #don't be caught out# and the lack of security staff lots of shop lifting and balaclava kids on bikes with no sign of security staff sorting the situation oh so quick to fine anyone who spends money in the stores but goes over the parking limit.
Chris G — Google review
I went thinking the gluten-free section would be larger than the smaller location in town and was disappointed. The customers are of an age and inclination that will leave you feeling either judged or bruised because they will try to walk through you with a trolley. The staff seem equally exasperated and respond like dobby receiving a sock when receiving basic manners and patients they need a raise.
Freddy D — Google review
Had a lovely shopping trip, but I'm very worried that when the big new m&s opens traffic will be an absolute nightmare....I will not be shopping there if this happens. But today was nice and relaxing 😌
Theresa R — Google review
Good choice of shops, free parking but only for 4 hours & 2 cafes. Something needs to be done about the exit from the car park which is inadequate currently but will be even worse after the new M&S opens.
Motownkat — Google review
Plenty of parking but the waiting to get out of the car park is atrocious. Can be sillingbfor an hour easily. This car park would benefit from another entrance neat the next end

Terrible place , utterly racist, they kept standing near me and my sisters, never did the same for other white shoppers, manager was absolutely biased and mentioned we were not allowed to shout even without knowing any of what happened . Pleasant to say they won’t be trying that rubbish with any black person again !
ASKDDIETITIAN — Google review
Just gone and tried to buy some clothes for my son, to be told I can’t buy until 10.30am on a Sunday. But they’re open at 10am. I thought Sunday trading hours was 10am-4am. Not really impressed as was in a rush to make an event
William D — Google review
My mum has been coming to this next for 15+ years and has never experienced a bad interaction with an employee or had a bad experience, however today my mum was subjected to racism, a lady that works at this next followed and HARASSED my mum the second she walked into the store, my mum had been looking at cloths normally and then went into the changing rooms to try on cloths, but when she walked out the lady had been waiting for her the whole time, my mum had told me sister to talk with this lady asking her if there is a problem because she has been following my family throughout the shop, she responded with “no, my manager has told me to stay here”, but my mum had felt that this was a lie and told her if the manager can come over, the manager comes over and had told my mum that “there is someone that shouldn’t be in the store” my mum thought that this wasn’t a good enough excuse for this lady to follow her throughout the whole store and left, leaving all the cloths she was planning on buying, but also there were many more people in the store, however only my mum was followed, this gave my mum more reasons to be angry at the lady following her and the manager. Another thing to mention is that when my mum left the store she was never given an apology and even worse she was followed by security being harassed in other shops outside of Next, being followed from Next all the way to Matalan. Absolutely disgusting because almost every employee at this next are very helpful and kind only being ruined by this prejudice lady and manager, I also have to mention the security have nothing to do with how my mother was treated only because they were following the orders of this racist manager.

Went in to the Doncaster store this morning after finding out last night that my online order had been cancelled without notifying me. These were birthday presents for my twins for tomorrow and as u can imagine I was not at all happy. The ladies in the store were extremely helpful, went round with me trying to locate the items and then honoured the discount code that customer services had sent me. Although I wouldn’t order online again, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to this store. Excellent customer service!

I normally look for myself but was absolutely delighted when i went to the kids department the quality range and prices were fab with a nicer range than the sweatshirt / jogger range that many other stores stock for boys , I picked up a great little fake leather boys jacket for only £16 , some lovely boys shirts and ties as well as cords all under a tenner

Converted from an indoor material and hardware market in 2019 into an entertainment complex with bars, food stalls and even a small bowling alley. Indoor and outdoor seating. Occasional live music. Lots of food choices! I ate at Clapping Seoul and the food was amazing! Prices are reasonable and good portion size. There wasn't much seating free on a Sat lunchtime but we did find space after wandering around a little 😊

As a family we love it here. We send the children to look at all the menus, they then order and pay for their meals independently. They feel so grown up. It's a great way to get them to try different foods if they want to. It also builds their confidence. The food has always been good, sometimes there is some fruity language if there is a group in going on a night out but generally really good. We haven't tried any games I'm told you have to book those before going.

Primark in Doncaster offers a good range of affordable products, making it a budget-friendly option for many. While the quality can be hit-or-miss, there are some gems among the offerings that are well worth the price. It's a convenient option for basic clothing needs, and you can often find items that are surprisingly stylish or durable for the cost. Overall, it’s a decent shopping experience—good enough for everyday essentials without breaking the bank.
SFN H — Google review
A good sized Primark which is always well-stocked, clean and tidy. It’s a popular store and is usually packed with customers whenever I have visited. There’s a great choice of designs and materials, very similar to leading fashion brands but at a fraction of the price.

There are some good priced items like the shoes pictured below some of the quality of other items can be left to be desired but overall with the price of items that they provide are of good quality. a large men's section is to be desired due to only occupying half of a floor compared to the ladies 2 floors combined

While like most Primark this is well lit and has a reasonable layout, this is not as well stocked as some , although it's still ok , the limits are due to limited floorspace, the stock in the men's department , although varied , had limited sizes, I was after jeans and found myself leaving empty handed but still some bargain clothing just not sure of stock levels

This is the waterdale. I remember years ago, so many shops. Redevelopment never happened, other than a fantastic Gregg's (the staff there do a good job) there is very little else left. Needs to be a plan of action for here in 2021
Alex B — Google review
Has potential to be a vibrant, beautiful spot but the shops are mostly boarded up, hardly anyone goes this way out and the area is full of less-than-reputable members of society BUT money has been spent here and it looks a lot more pleasant, just needs the retail to grow and attract shoppers

What on earth have Doncaster council done to this once bustling place? Built brand new shops years ago now and not one single one has ever had anyone in them It's like most of Doncaster a ghost town ruined by a council who has absolutely no interest in the town or its residents

There's a huge amount of regeneration happening at the moment. Tired looking precinct but in time this little area will be buzzing again. Cupcakes 2 Love is our favourite business for delicious cake and coffee. Can't wait to see what the council have in store and the multi storey car park, right on the doorstep will be a great feature going forward.

The store is known for its well-curated sections and features various designer brands. Customers appreciate the convenience of click and collect services when ordering online. Additionally, the store's men's section offers a wide selection of brands to explore.
Bought the most beautiful dress for my nieces wedding. I love the shop lay out everything is easy to find and plenty of room between areas. The staff are very helpful and bra fitting service is the best I've had yet. The store is always spotlessly clean.

This is a review of the cafe only. I must admit I was in a bit of a rush as I wanted a quick coffee and then go to another shop before it closed. I ordered a regular americano for 2.15. They asked did I want milk or cream with it. I asked for low fat milk and it wasn't a problem. The coffee was decent. The view is decent as well, if you look in the distance, below is the train tracks. I asked for a 2nd bit of milk for my coffee and that was no problem. friendly service.
Dean S — Google review
Great store, I mainly shop upstairs at the men's section and there's many brands available here for our perusal, and even better when the sales are on! The staff seemed okay the several times I've been although could be more smiley, don't think I've encountered the guy mentioned by the previous reviewer. I think one of the best features about this store is the click and collect feature when ordering online, its done brilliantly and you know exactly what you're doing. I receive a text and an email letting me know my item is ready, and because of the late opening hours I'm able to pop in after work, display the QR code that comes in the email, they scan it and bring the item. Great service.
Malachi J — Google review
Disappointed as I had received a 10% off code for cardholders only to find out that the offer didn't start till the day after although it started that day on line. A good way to drive people out of their stores. I like the stuff they sell but some of their methods leave a lot to be desired.
Ray C — Google review
Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. We went for lunch arriving at 12.10pm only to find 4 ready made sandwiches available. Staff offered to make us one but there was only cheese or cheese and tomato. The children's food cart only had 2 pkts of sandwiches (cheese again). We chose to have jacket potatoes but there was only one with a 15min wait for the second (obviously microwaved). I like the restaurant, it is pleasant and clean. The food is reasonably priced but if they want customers to return they need to have more supplies.

Very quiet on a Friday afternoon. Several labels in fashion department, but an average range within each brand. Nothing screamed buy me, despite an offer, if 2 items purchased. Cafe was busy. Minimal choice of food items.

Good Debenhams store in the Frenchgate centre. Debenhams seem to permanently have a sale on so got some good quality items at bargain prices. The cafe was lovely and cool and a nice oasis to chill a bit to regain your strength for more shopping! There are nice toilets adjacent to the cafe too.

TK Maxx is a retail chain located at Whearley Hall Road, offering a wide selection of stylish brand-name apparel, shoes, accessories, and housewares. Customers can find many high street fashion brand clothing items at reasonable prices as well as nice home furnishings. Visitors have praised the store for its pleasant and polite staff who provide amazing customer service, making the shopping experience enjoyable. The store also received compliments for its tidy layout and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist customers.
Bought some items on 3rd January at around 18:50. All good in general but the 4 dtats good to the "Old" bearded man at the door (guess covering the security side" what a gentleman, helpful and very polite. People like this makes the difference.

Staff is useless when asking for help they just point don’t help and show u , very messy also everything is everywhere also very sneaky cashier had reduced price. On label took it off and said it was normal price shocking

Very large TK Max this. It has rails and rails of clothes. Hit and miss if you want to grab a designer bargain. You have to dig deep and even then sometimes you will walk out empty handed. You can tell some of the items have been rejected or its like 3 year old non sold stock from other retailers which look out dated. Based on a big retail park with plenty parking.
Zee K — Google review
Nice store good prices and polite staff. Shame they can't open the store on the times advertised. On a Sunday open time states 10:30, we were all sat outside waiting still at 10:35, yes this is only 5 minutes but still if you open at 10:30 you shouldn't be leaving customers waiting.
Rachael H — Google review
TK Maxx: I would give TK Maxx a two-star rating, primarily based on personal preference since I'm not fond of shopping in general. TK Maxx is known for its wide range of products from designer labels to everyday items, all offered at a discount. This can be appealing if you enjoy hunting for deals and don't mind sifting through assorted merchandise to find hidden gems. However, the store's layout can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the high volume of items and the somewhat chaotic organization. This can make shopping there a less enjoyable experience for those who prefer a more curated or streamlined environment. Additionally, while the potential for finding discounted designer goods is a significant draw, the variability in stock quality and the need to search through densely packed racks can be deterrents. For those who relish the thrill of the hunt and have the patience to explore, TK Maxx can be a treasure trove. However, for shoppers like me who prefer a more straightforward, hassle-free experience, it might not be the ideal shopping destination.

Mainly 5 stars thanks to Tina who helped me with my makeup. Thank you for the wonderful, friendly service. Came away smiling!

I shop here regularly and normally it's a good experience. How ever on my last visit I used the self check-out and of some of the things I bought a couple were reduced price. 2 wraps, I thought the total didn't seem right so I asked an assistant and she said it was correct, turns out the wraps went through at full price, instead of 1.00 each 3.38. I didn't think as I was in a rush and just assumed the things I bought weren't on 2 for 12.00 as stated on the shelf. Until I paid I didn't realise the wraps went through for 6.70 instead of 2.00. Assistant on self check out couldn't do refunds so directed me to the counter next to no.7. The assistant was rude and told me that as they were reduced and went through full price she couldn't issue with me with a refund. I stood my ground and said that I am not going to be charged 6.70 for what was meant to be 2.00 paid, I have retail experience myself and know your not allowed to make rules like that, customer pays the price on the ticket and that is final. To top it off she said she was having problems refunding me the difference and had to just refund the total cost and I had to repurchase the wraps so expected me to buy again after being over charged way too much and acted like it was my fault. Such a bad experience!
Gemma L — Google review
Boots are (is?) going downhill rapidly. The staff are pleasant enough and try their best, but the store is a bit of a mess and it's virtually impossible to get served by an actual human being these days. Self-checkout tills only (unless you go to the cosmetics counters, which I make a point of doing, whatever I've bought), and the machines need constant supervision by staff anyway... which invariably means waiting and/or impatience and annoyance. The discount coupon off 'healthcare' is hopelessly vague and baffles customers and staff alike! I used to be a Product Manager for this lot in Nottingham. To say that this is is no longer the same, people-centred and paternal organisation is a severe understatement.

Not only overcharged and miss sold..but when I returned to store to solve the issues was treated very poorly...passed around several members of staff and waiting more than 10 minutes for a member of staff to process a refund. Said member of Staff deliberately took up time helping demonstrate perfumes to other customers before grudgingly processing my refund.

Doncaster City Centre is a vibrant hub that offers a unique blend of culture and entertainment, making it an essential stop for anyone visiting the UK. The city is also home to notable attractions like the Cast Theater and Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery, both within walking distance.
You smell of necrotizing fasciitis is incredibly pungent when you've not had a cigarette for 7 years. It's quite sad really if you know what that is but that's what happens when a proud working town has the pits shut down along with most manufacturing and now even most retail is being turned into trendy ish flats with names like supernova heights (sighs)..... I've seen enough videos of people walking around places like Switzerland and Japan and other other European countries and it amazes me just how much broken glass, chewing gum and dog feces line the streets of Doncaster. Less is more..... But I still kind of love the place, somebody's got to (!!!!)🤣

Used to be fabulous and still does have decent places. However the town is full of beggers and spice heads and you feel quite unsafe at times. It's actually getting worse especially since house of Fraser closed. A short walk from the market car park to the bank and 6 beggars 8 spice heads 3 litterers 2 people spitting 1 fight 1 person urinating in public 1 being stopped for shoplifting 2 refused entry to outlets All that within 150 meters

Love some of the clothes they sell. However they are always having signs outside the shop saying “25% on all dresses” etc which don’t even work. A woman today was told there is no discount then why on Earth is it outside? No one was there in the dressing rooms (never is, I tend to sort myself out there now). When I was served the cashier didn’t even look at me, all of the staff was cackling and talking to one another (which I’ve no problem with) but it’s when they won’t even stop to speak a word to you or look at you while you’re serving them! I asked to apply my student discount but she carried on talking to her friend, interrupting and ignoring me, then I repeated mysellf, she interrupted me mid sentence again and didn’t tell me whether my discount was put on or not when i asked. I’ve had multiple experiences with terrible customer service and ignorant staff but wow.

Not a good experience. Went to JD just now, 18:00, 11/05/2024. Customer service was that bad im actually having to write a review. Me and my partner went in to get him a pair of shorts and sliders. When looking through sliders, 4 members of staff were stood next to us, giggling amongst themselves, whilst also staring at us. Next after finding the sliders, we also found a pair of shorts but my partner wanted to try them on to make sure that they fit. Went to the dressing rooms to find them all locked, waited for 10 minutes for a member of staff to come our way... so i thought. A staff member looked at us as she was walking towards us and goes into the back room next to us. Next thing she comes out another door at the other side of the room giggling with another member of staff! We then decide there's no point in this so we just decided to buy them anyways as unfortunately, sports direct was shut and we needed them asap. After a few minutes, surprise surprise the giggling/teleporting member of staff comes to serve us. Not pleased they only do blue light discount online and not instore - a way of supporting essential workers in this country. Finally, we paid for our things to then leave the building and 3 other girls are giggling and huddling at the entrance. If they huddled any closer they would be chuffing penguins! Overall, all the staff looked like they were in their teens/early 20s. All of them appeared to be having a social gathering. I wouldn't mind but they could've at least pretended to do their jobs. So not happy.

My wife wanted to return a ring she had purchased in February this year (still under warranty, with receipt) because a stone had fallen out. The member of staff was most unhelpful, firstly blaming my wife for the stone falling out because she wasn't cleaning it regularly, then said she would have to return it after Christmas for it to be assessed as the place handling this was too busy. No replacement was offered and my wife left feeling very disappointed. A quick phone call to the Pandora shop at White Rose centre Leeds (where she bought it from) and a replacement was offered immediately once my wife confirmed she'd got the receipt. What a difference between two shops. Doncaster is our nearest store but shouldn't make a difference

Really awful customer service. I purchased a dress from the Meadowhall store but the assistant who served me didn't put the belt of the dress in the bag. I rang Sheffield numerous times but they didn't answer the phone. Went in to the Doncaster branch where I was told by the manageress 'it's not our fault." Whilst I realise this they are representing the company 'River Island' and could at least have said sorry for your inconvenience. After a fiasco and being told 'we don't post things' (all I wanted was for the Sheffield branch to post my belt to me) I was given a belt from a dress that was identical which someone had returned this morning. Having been a loyal River Island customer for a very long time. Would I return? I'd have to think long and hard.

The one star is for the male manager that was on duty today I had been hunting for a shirt for a wedding, found that this store had 1 in phoned store and this was confirmed. Company policy is not to hold sale items fine, the manager stared that this was managers discretion when asked if he would got told no. Nothing like going extra mile for customers eh. 5 stars to the lady that helped me find the shirt when i arrived to store, she was helpful and pleasant. The manager however is a joke

Their latest collection draws inspiration from the chic streets of Paris, featuring statement bows, sparkling rhinestones, and attention-commanding suits. Customers have praised the store for its great ambiance and helpful staff members like Christina who provide professional and attentive service.
Great store great music to go with the vibe. Visited with my family to buy a beautiful dress for my granddaughter. Spoke to a lovely sales assistant called Christina, who was very professional and helpful. She informed us that she had recently started with the company in September of this year, who ever found this person and gave her a job should be very very proud of her, she is friendly, professional, hard working, attentive and well perfect. May I add Christina is a credit to your store, and I can see her rising through the ranks quickly. A genuine asset to Quiz. Thankyou Christina for giving us such a wonderful experience. Hope next time we see you that you have been promoted or at least been given recognition for your efforts.

I legit hate, hate woman's clothes shopping. My sister scarred me from a very young age with spending hours upon hours trying different clothes on and eventually coming out the shop with absolutely nothing.

Great staff and quality clothes Reasonably priced clothes if your looking for something for prom or night out or even just casual wear. Only went in with a friend. Not my style of clothing and too expensive for me. Wouldn't dream of paying £34 quid just for a t-shirt that's nearly a weeks shopping for me so no thank you.

Went dress shopping in the shop yesterday afternoon and the young lady on the changing room couldn't have been more helpful, going up and down the shop offering to get different dresses that she thought I might like. Nothing was to much trouble for her. Sorry I didn't get her name or would have mentioned her. Thank you for your help.

Walked into the shop with my grandmother as she was returning some things, and we were greeted with a attitude/ stern look as - "you are bringing all this back" as i have worked in customer service before i would never dream to speak to a customer like that. Upon walking round the shop after being told she was a mystery shopper they couldn't do enough! We don't have alot of money so i feel the stafg were very disrespectful! You could hear them talking about banking rather loudly and where the money was going. The Quiz shop in plymouth were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help, perhaps you should encourage them to "treat people how you want to be treated."

First time in here today. Love the clothing range and ended up purchasing a couple of items. But never have I been made to feel more like a criminal for perusing clothes and trying them on. The miserable girl behind the counter needs to get her act together because if that's the best that they can do in customer service then Lord help us!

This place couldn’t be any worse. Use to be a lot better. Disrespectful, inappropriate, bad mannered staff. Stood around looking disinterested. Barely make a sale through customer service and approach. Not much quality in store. Overpriced slightly. Just bad. Need to book their ideas up.
Matt P — Google review
This place is a laugh totally shocking staff no empathy no intelligence just totally robotic, can see why they are so low paid. I would sack them all and as for explaining the 28 day no refund just credit note, watched them serve five people as I was getting yep credit not for a pensioner with hard of hearing that bought son a coat for Xmas no money back what a joke . They didn’t explain once to any of the five. I told a woman looking at a £150 coat that if it don’t fit you won’t get your money back well she put down went out of shop lol. 1 star is to much but can’t give zero. Shop online if informed in 14 days can have your money back if returned in 14 days

Rude incompetent staff and the manager is worse! Bought some boots in-store, worn around the house for a few hours as they were leather and needed breaking in a little. Well they are not wearable as they hurt like he'll on the back of my feet. Anyway went to return said boots and no chance in hell here. There's no marks or wear n tear as I've only tried them on in the house. But they will not accept this. Totally disgusting behaviour so I'm basically left with a pair of pricey boots that I can't wear! Will not be shopping here again!

I bought last week a pair of shoes which turned to be totally uncomfortable. I was to return them to be refunded but was impossible because was weared. Of course was weared, other wise how you realise are uncomfortable. The person who was duty manager or something like that totally rude and impolite, like was my fault the product was inappropriate and low quality. About refunded....yeah, keep dreaming!

When I bought them she said if they dont fit I can bring them back, Bought a pair of trousers and tried them on and didnt fit was too long, they said they had been washed and wouldn't let me change them for a smaller leg.

Very rude and arrogant staff. They left a security tag on an item I found it after 5 days when I wore it went back to usc to get it removed and they behaved like they were doing a favour to me even though it was their fault to leave the tag on that item.

The store offers excellent customer service, with helpful staff members like Tammy who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable visit. However, some customers have noted that there may be upselling at the checkout counter.
Absolutely fantastic first experience at build a bear. Took my baby girl for her 1st birthday bear. Bit of a wait but plenty to look around at. I had put my email in to be in the bonus club - upon getting to the till for some reason it wasn't finding that on the system. The girl behind the counter was fantastic and got me signed up and sorted, otherwise it would have been an hour spent for nothing and we wouldnt have returned. Now we already have the next 2 years we will be getting!! Excellent customer service.

Been here a lot nice well presented store, staff are helpful and engaging with the children making it a special experience for them. My only issue is upon entering the store recently two staff members offered there help, I told them we were just looking as only that second entered the store but they proceeded to take my child to the bears to see what he wanted which fair enough was helpful but we had a set budget and wanted to show him what he could get our selves but they proceeded to show him the most expensive bears on the shelf as when my son looked at the lower cost ones they directed him to the higher costing again. Being helpful is great but maybe let customers get in the store and look first if helps needed people will usually ask. Apart from this we had a good time.

me and my gf came inside the store and Tammy 'the employee' there (champ) was so thrilled to help us. She filled up our bear and asked us to kiss the heart, spin around and make a wish, bare in mind we're 24 but we happily obliged because it's Tammy. She deserves a raise for this amazing customer service, she's the face of the shop. We got to know Tammy very well and personal, if anybody deserves a nobel peace prize it's Tammy. I hope she succeeds and slowly takes over the management , in fact the entire company. When we were exiting the store suddenly a gunman came in, Tammy didn't even hesistate to stand in front of the gunman and protect us with her body and the stuffed bear. No bears were harmed thanks to Tammy exceptional customer service , she descalated the situaton and even told the gunman to have a nice day. If it wasn't for Tammy we'd be all dead. We are definietly coming back again, thank you Tammy.

The gym that I went to overall was okay. It was lacking in equipment in some areas but overall not bad. Customer service however is awful. Every time I rang up to make a payment I got through within 15 minutes, but when phoning to cancel my membership I was on hold for 53 minutes and never got through. I rang the day before and couldn’t get through either. This is ridiculous. They are happy to answer if it’s to take money but other than that they are not bothered about answering.

Had an interesting shopping experience at this sports direct outlet today pal. Picked up a decent pair of adidas trainers in the sale for £25 half price a decent buy. They had these funny trainer things for sale at £80 and over heard a little kiddie asking his dad why they were selling alien 👽 shoes which made me chuckle. Tried a couple of tops on in the changing room next to the tills and I tell you what pal I might as well have just whipped my shirt off in the shop. Talk about dodgy changing room or what, you can see over the top and underneath the door, it's a good job I wasn't trying shorts or pants on as everyone queuing for the tills would of seen my meat and 2 veg!

1st time coming to this store and I will definitely will not be returning. I asked for help on a few items I could not see on the shop floor and one of the staff just blatantly said I don't know go ask the person behind the till. I said there is a line at the till so please just help. He looked at me and again said I don't know. I waited in the queue and spoke to the person at the till and told them what the other guy said. She said oh he's new he doesn't know much and just left it at that. Absolute waste of time. If your going to work on the shop floor, train your staff properly so they know simple things. I wasn't asking a rocket science question.

Rude customer service. The man behind the counter literally spun a shoe box around to shove the price tag under my nose (no words, just shoved the price tag at me) when I contested that the price was marked £5 less on the display wall. During the entire time picking the shoes, trying on the shoes, and being at the counter, that was the first time I had seen the price on the box, so it honestly came across so rude. It turned out that the shoes I had picked were in the wrong place on the wall (allegedly) but that doesn't entitle the pompous and patronising actions the man behind the counter thought he was entitled to. I wish I had just shoved his shoe box back at him and told him to keep them, and even debated for about an hour after purchasing on returning them, except that I didn't want to return and speak to that same horrible person. I'll just return them to another branch where they treat their customers kindly. We won't be back to this one!!!

Bought a pair of Karrimor walking shoes from here. The soles came off after 5 months. This is not the reason for a 1 star review. The reason for the 1 stat review is the awkwardness of the company when it comes to refunds or replacements. They will not refund via PayPal (my payment method) and they will not offer an alternative replacement, only the same shoe, which I don't want, obviously. In this day and age this simply isn't good enough.

Argos Doncaster Frenchgate Centre is a bustling shopping destination located in the heart of Doncaster. It offers a wide array of high street lifestyle and fashion shops, along with a supermarket, department store, and various cafes and restaurants. The center provides convenience with its accessibility via bus or train, as well as offering parcel delivery services for added ease. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the on-site parking facilities.
A very handy store if you're in town, much easier for people to access via bus, rather than having to make a trip to an out of town retail park. Having reserved an item, paying and collecting it was very easy and quick. Another bonus nowadays is that you can have parcels delivered here too, so you can collect them too whilst you're in town, rather than making a separate trip to the post office, sorting office or parcel depot.

This place is ideal for anybody looking to get everything under one roof. Accompanied with the town centre, it has everything to offer! The rail and bus station on site makes it easy for everybody to visit. There's also a multistory car park above the shopping centre, which can be costly if you stay long. Despite that, there are alternative, competitive car parks.

Amazing experience today thanks to a very helpful shop assistant. I think her name was Daniella. I hate shopping for makeup, it can be so overwhelming with all the different brands and having no idea what actually works. Daniella was so helpful. I suffer with hyperpigmentation and needed something to help conceal it. Daniella offered me great advice and helped me try different products out until we found the right one. I've always been so paranoid about my skin but now I have the perfect product. It was instantly covered with the colour correcter sticks. Daniella showed me how to apply it effectively and I was very happy with the cost. I will be forever thankful. I felt instantly at ease knowing i can now go out in public without feeling embarrassed. Such a simple solution, i would never have known about. Thank you for your time, patience and for being so attentive, it was very much appreciated.

My 2 daughters went on Sunday to have their nose peirced. My oldest went 1st. The lady marked it up and my daughter asked if the peircing could be moved forward slightly. This was refused and peircer went ahead. My second daughter backed out because of this. She received alot of pressure to get it done but my daughter stood her ground. We was told we still had to pay for this as the box had now been opened. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience I would avoid and go to a professional like we had to the following day. My oldest daughter had to get her nose re-peirced as it wasn't in the correct place.

Went into Superdrug to buy some more perfume, bought my favourite perfume that I have been buying for years, the Versace noir. When I was as buying it the lady serving me pulled the 50ml bottle and scanned it which the price came out to be £121 which I said politely that I wasn’t prepared to pay that price for perfume and to just sell me the bottle that cost in the £50 margin which I’ve always spent before. The lady agrees and then realises that the perfume bottle was priced wrongly which the manager Hayley was called about the pricing. This I didn’t make any fuss about the pricing and this was brought up purely by the staff member serving me. However they were kind enough to sell me the 50ml bottle for £59. Unfortunately when I got home and opened it to spray only the once before I went out, the smell was completely different to usual which got me suspicious. I then compared it to the bottle of my old perfume I hadn’t thrown out yet. This is where I noticed that the smell again was completely different to the one I had bout that day from the Superdrug store, the font on the bottle was also very different which I did my research on the font of the bottle to see if it had recently change… which had not, this made me believe the product was a fake, thinking that this may have just made its way into the Superdrug store on accident i intended to take it back the next day. The following morning I approached the counter at Superdrug on Wheatley hall road where I had made the purchase with the bottle I had bought with the receipt, and the old bottle for reference. I explained my concerns to the lady at the desk again who brought out her manager, again being Hayley who had served me the day before. I explained the situation to her and simply wanted to exchange the bottle or refund it to my card whichever was easier. She looked and acted fed up that I was there politely expressing my concerns and feeling about an expensive bottle of perfume I had bought for years. She asked questions in quite an abrupt manner, explaining that she couldn’t do anything without the box, she also held me to the fact that there was nothing wrong with the product and that she’d given it to me for half the price the previous day, which no offence wasn’t my issue that was an issue in store that they had priced there products wrongly and she chose to give that product for the price it had underneath the bottle which was £59. She then told me to contact the manufacturer Versace. I then walked off saying I would bring the box back, I only caught part of the conversation as I walked back but she had said something on the line of “just because she doesn’t like the smell of it” which is extremely unprofessional and rude of a supervisor, this interaction made me extremely uncomfortable so I decided to bring the product back with the box and receipt with my dad as I was uncomfortable with how the lady had handle the situation. We both did some research online about policy’s of perfume returns, definitions of faulty products and the laws of the customer rights act of 2015. When we returned we were greeted by a different lady who expressed her concerns about the product being opened and used, however I explained I’d done some research with perfume return policy’s and the product being returned as faulty can be used with minimal usage which I had done as I had only sprayed it the once, I had the original packaging, I had the receipt so a refund should have be offered. However the manager was called again, clearly recognising that it was me and told the young girl to tell me she couldn’t do anything and that the perfume was fine which anyone with eyes can see the changes of product packaging and the smell was significantly different. No refund was given, other methods of refunding money are in place and I will not be returning to that store again. The photo I have attached are the perfume bottles. The bottle on the left is the bottle purchased from Superdrug and the bottle on the right is the old bottle, clear difference there.

Had a click & collect order. There was no one in the shop, but apparently staff were too busy to help or find the order. Took about 30 minutes to collect my order.

My daughter had her ears pierced at the new Doncaster store by lovely Daniela and Emily. They did a fantastic job of calming her down, as she was very nervous. Highly recommended!

Well laid out, bright but not overly bright. Lower shelf heights make it seem larger. Ear piercing chairs and it even smells nice

Went to this years fireworks event, the show its self was good lasted about 10mins or so. The event had lots of food outlets and drink too. the rides were good but not cheep, we went early for the happy hour not sure all the rides did this was it was still expensive. There are lots of people here it was very busy and started to get hard to move around due to the numbers. Car parking was free so that was a bonus.

Doncaster Racing & Events is well signposted and easy to find. I have come here a few times over the years for various classic car shows, etc. The exhibition hall is spacious and a good place to come. The northern shooting show is being held here this year.

Went to the Exhibition centre for a model railway event, just brilliant. Nice event space, great show and the staff are really helpful. Will be back.

Went to the firework display. Fireworks was amazing however you let far too many people in this year. I know the fair had nothing to do with you guys too but £18 for 3 people to go on a ride was shocking. Maybe be worth coming up with a deal with someone else. The main problem was the shear amount of people you let in this year.

The Asda Doncaster Superstore is a flagship store in the area, offering a wide range of products and ample parking. It's known for its variety of items, including video games, films, groceries, and homewares. The store is well-organized with helpful staff available. Customers appreciate the convenience of its location near entertainment venues and restaurants.
Asda in Doncaster has to be one of their flagship stores across the area. With a range of products on offer, you can usually find what you need within the store without having to look too far. It's also a great store for video game and film releases and they always have several copies in stock which is ideal. I usually drive past my local asda to visit this one at the dome as it just has much more on offer compared to the other stores in the area. The Cafe here is fantastic too, which is always an added bonus to the visit. The toilets are usually clean too and they are regularly maintained which is expected from supermarkets and Asda take care of it perfectly.
Ryan H — Google review
I had a terrible experience at Asda today. None of the tills were open, forcing everyone to use the self-checkouts, which are notoriously unreliable and frustrating to use. There was no staff presence near the tills to assist customers, and the one staff member at the self-checkouts had a rude and unhelpful attitude. The self-checkouts themselves were a nightmare, as usual. They frequently malfunctioned, creating unnecessary delays for everyone. Many of them didn’t accept cash, which is ridiculous. Cash is legal tender, and not being able to use it is unacceptable. The added surveillance cameras and mirrors at the self-checkouts are invasive and make customers feel uncomfortable and treated like criminals. After encountering issues with the machine only a few items into scanning, I tried to find someone to open a till, but I was told there was no one available. Even when I asked politely, I was met with blunt and unhelpful responses. I ended up leaving my basket behind and walking out empty-handed because it simply wasn’t worth the hassle. Asda’s reliance on self-checkouts with no backup tills or adequate staff is unacceptable and drives customers away. This experience has completely put me off shopping here again.

Struggle to buy products i like to buy such as free range chicken. It's important to promote the consideration of welfare for meat products we buy and in doing so may increase the volume of such products bought that could overtime have a positive impact on the price that could lead to more people being able to access better quality products. Also find the rewards appear to be not as rewarding as other supermarket schemes.
Toya B — Google review
Good variety in a large store, everything you need, food toys clothes. There is a cafe as well. Different ways to shop self check out, scan and go or use a till. Be carefully of managers always stood around talking and blocking ailes.
Karl F — Google review
I had a frustrating experience at the self-scan area at ASDA due to the unhelpful attitude of a staff member named Julia. I had purchased an 8-pack of Evian water and asked Julia if she could scan them for me, as I didn’t want to lift them out of the trolley due to the weight. She refused without offering any alternative or assistance, so I had to pull them out myself. After scanning, the self-checkout scale malfunctioned because the weight of the water was too much, and instead of helping resolve the issue, Julia came over and told me to remove them from the scale in a rude and dismissive manner. Her tone and lack of support made the situation worse. It’s disappointing to receive such poor customer service. A little understanding and help go a long way, especially when dealing with heavy items.
Jacek A — Google review
We like big Asda always a decent selection of products. George clothing is good value and looks nice in my opinion. Always plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and pleasant Cafe had a children eat for a pound when we popped in. Food was nice. Really well priced.
Daniel C — Google review
Just purchased couple off waters and requested multiple quantity to be entered as I didn't see the point off unloading all off the waters. This was something asda staff would allow but suddenly is no longer an option. Its such a shame when trying to get help, the staff would not listen and try to understand.
Oz D — Google review
I shop at this asda because it's local to me, but I'm now going to shop elsewhere as the prices are getting ridiculous, I bought a pkt of asda own brand biscuits on Sunday for 77p on Monday they'd gone up to £1.26, so not just a few pence they're adding on to their products.

Primark is a discount fashion store that specializes in clothes and accessories for all ages. The store was very busy with students visiting on our visit, and checkout was quick.
Went here the other day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was good and they had lots of options of clothing. The prices were standard for the average primark. The location is good and accessible. Lots of seasonal decorations like Christmas and Halloween are already in stock and I wanted so many of them.
Josh B — Google review
This is one of the biggest Primark stores I have visited, and there's quite a large selection of items to purchase. While it isn't the cheapest store around, it is definitely not the most expensive, and will be affordable for most people. I had no problems navigating and paying, and my entire shopping experience was nice
Enoch O — Google review
A good place to shop quickly. The collection is average and the place is crowded if you go in peak hours. The billing line is really long during the day. Choose a correct time to shop and you should be good.

Huge selection of clothes , plus home textile and cosmetic products all under one roof @ prices that most can afford without breaking the bank . Please note it can be very busy at times but with low price banding on products it is worth a look . The atmosphere is ultra modern and contemporary, till time is brief as they have plenty of well trained polite staff waiting to help. A must for the budget conscious high fashion shopper.

Great shop. There’s even a Costa Coffee upstairs. This Primark doesn’t do self service checkout unlike the Primark in Derby. Helpful staff however, 1 staff at the till was quite aloof & had this sassy attitude to me & i knew & felt it even before i approached her

This store is something my wife remembers from the time she was in the UK all those years ago. As a result, she wanted to visit this store while we were in Nottingham. My wife and daughter picked up a couple of dresses. My daughter also picked up a pair of Minnie Mouse shoes. I picked up a set of pajamas. The store was extremely busy with all the students visiting the store. Checkout was pretty quick considering the length of the queue when we started queueing.

Additionally, the staff has been praised for their outstanding care and support during emergencies, making it a heartwarming experience for visitors.
I’ve always popped into M&S when visiting Doncaster. Since the closure of the large M&S in Hull has meant a trip to York for anything other than food, it has always been a bonus to have this one in Doncaster. I’m sad to hear that it will soon be closing. This M&S is a good size and very well laid out although I often end up going out of a different door when leaving the store as it straddles the corner of 2 roads. Good choice of clothing here and the Food Hall is excellent-fresh food is well presented, shelves well stocked and a good range of Free From products. Upstairs there is also a cafe although I haven’t used it in a while. Good quality products across the store.

Men's clothing is on first floor, but they've got rid of the mens changing rooms. You now have to go right across to the opposite corner, down the escalator and use the ladies changing rooms, which they claim are unusex. I guess M&S don't want business from men anymore, fine, I'll take my business elsewhere

The town needs this store. Not everyone can get up to Wheatley retail park but the CEO isn't bothered about the regulars that pop in for a sliced loaf and a bottle of milk they want the customer thats willing to go in get a basket full of shopping a coffee and a 3 quarter length coat. And whats going to happen to the store when its empty, its huge!

Should I even say something? 😹 1. Food hall is amazing, the variety of choices is good. 2. Flower corner is brilliant. My favorite part is bulbs and kits for growing. Also, I bought a cherry tree from there. 3. Cafe! Very good warm food. I go there go have soup and coffee and then I am ready to continue shopping adventure. 4. Very clean toilets. 5. 2 levels of clothing. 6. Bra fitting service. I was quite excited that I can do everything at the self service. I mean paying cash or card, using gift card that you have, topping up a new gift card that you want to present. Just everything.

I recently severely broke my leg but had to get a new jumper for a family celebration meal out so I visited the Doncaster store and due to mobility problems because of my leg getting from the car to the store was hard work and by time I reached the store I was sweaty out of breath and as soon as got through a member of staff must of seen me struggling as the young lady came upto me asked me if I was OK and asked me if there was any help she could give after getting me a chair to sit on which I explained my visit this young lady then said you wait there sir and I will see what we can sort out for you after about 10-15 minutes wait the young lady came back with a collection of jumpers of different designs, patterns etc and when I saw the one I liked she asked if the colour there was OK or there was a choice of other colours and I asked for for a cream or light colour in an xl size and off she went and returned with one that was perfect I thanked her so much and apologised for being a burden and her reply was its all in the matalan service and customer satisfaction that matters and we are here to help and off I hobbled back to the car what a great service and shop and amazing value for money in all it's products.

Not a good experience unfortunately... Popped in quickly because I knew what i needed, I chose to use the self service check-out. I had a matalan gift card towards my purchase, I wasn't sure what to do because there was only option for love2shop gift cards, I looked around...several staff but one imparticular saw I needed assistance and didn't come over, I proceeded to look over while she continued to do what she was doing until she realised she had to come over, assistant was rude. Said oh you can't use that on here and you will have to go to a till, she didn't say this in a good manner and tried to turn it around when I firmly replied 'I didn't know I've not used one before at a self check-out. I had to queue again, I mentioned to a different assistant at the till that there needs to he a sign that says gift cards can't be used at self service as there's nothing clear to state this and she basically ignored what I said and so did the rude assistant next to her. and the fact you can't do this is odd, ive never came across one where this isn't an option. Staff are very ignorant in this store, I've always thought it but hadn't visited for a while so I've been reminded.

This shop is a worthy addition to the Victoria Centre, accessible through the large entrance that displays the website and location. There is a healthy variety of products on sale that are organized well, including into areas for games. From one of these, I bought a flight game at a reasonable price of £3 that me and my family have had an absolute blast playing since! I really liked the stylization of the social distancing screen at the till because it represents Nottingham's historical value and the staff were friendly, handling my purchase in this clean shop.
