Visiting Antinori was an amazing experience. The building is exceptional, and the history of the winery and the Antinori family is fascinating—the whole vibe really takes you back in time. The restaurant is beautiful and adds to the experience. My only downside was that our guide struggled with English, which made the tour slow and a bit tiring, and I feel I didn’t get as much information as I had hoped. Despite this, it’s still a highly recommended visit in Tuscany!
The Bottaia tour was extremely informative and truly worthwhile. Our guide did an excellent job, making the experience both engaging and enjoyable. The architecture of the winery was absolutely breathtaking—a real highlight for both wine enthusiasts and architecture lovers.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Antinori nel Chianti Classico winery. The service was incredibly warm and personal, which is truly impressive for a place of this size. It really shows that when a business is family-run, you get a completely different level of care and attention. The winery itself is beautiful, the wines we tasted were fantastic, and the food was delicious. It’s absolutely worth every cent if you’re visiting Tuscany. You can have a really amazing experience here.
It was an absolutely astonishing piece of architecture where the vineyard made the roof and the entire building merged with the nature landscape. It gives a nice modern and edgy atmosphere to wine tasting. The wine was amazing and the staff was very professional in helping non-Italian speakers like us. Only downside was the carpark is a bit far away which would be challenging for elderly.
We did a private tour that included lunch and it was definitely worth the cost. Our guide was knowledgeable and very fun! It was so cool to se inside the winery.
An unforgettable experience! The architecture alone made the visit worthwhile—simply stunning. We had the Cru tasting and lunch, held in the barrel cellar (unf8not not the glass cube). The tasting was performed very well, with a thoughtful storyline accompanying each wine. There was great attention to identifying flavors, making it accessible for less experienced wine lovers, while also offering seasoned enthusiasts a fascinating glimpse into the workings of a large winery and a chance to taste high-quality select wines. Lunch was delicious, with excellent wine pairings, and the service remained friendly and accommodating despite the high volume of visitors.
One of the best experiences we had on our trip to Italy. The winery is so well designed and very unique! The views with the beautiful staircase and the picturesque background of the rural Tuscan region is breathtaking. The tour of the winery was well organized and offered lots of history and knowledge as to how a winery gets a DOCG certification on their wine bottles. They have been creating and selling wine for almost 700 years! The wine tasting portion of the tour was excellent, I do wish they they did provide us with cheese and meats to eat with our wine from the region to know that the wine pairs well with and because the tour is a little lengthy and you do build up an appetite. The restaurant at the top of the winery closes at 4pm so if you want to eat after the tour be mindful of this and try to grab an early tour. Overall, a wonderful experience! Would love to return one day to enjoy the restaurant with a beautiful view of Tuscany.
Really unique vineyard to visit for lunch. They don’t really lean into their own wine as much as high end bottles at restaurant but the food is great and venue is one of a kind

worth even just for a quick visit, but need to book in advance for a guided tour
Large winery with a beautiful facility. The wines come from various locations throughout Italy, which they own. Great place to start the day. Parking is across the street. They do have a shuttle bus if you choose.
Architecture concept blends with the landscape, and exhibiting the process of metal rusting parallel with the process of wine fermentation. The experience was so good, until finally I found myself stuck on the roof finding the way out as they always need to close the spiral steps for maintenance. Beautiful architecture that doesn’t work in real life.😔

I skipped the wine and enjoyed the architecture!! Must see!! (Original) Wirklich tolles und beeindruckendes Weingut! Alleine wegen der Architektur einen Ausflug Wert. Beautiful location with great wine and food. Out of 3 wineries visited on my trip, this winery was the most personalized as it is family owned and operated. The son helped seat us, mother served us our wines, cheese board, and an added meat board. Walked-in, no reservations. Homemade jams and olive oil accompany the food. Son offered to show us the wine cellar after our wine tasting. Thank you to the family for an amazing time. We rented a car to arrive here, but a group before us took a bus and the family drove them to the bus stop, so you can message them about this.
Loved every single second of our “A Real Tuscan Wine & Food Experience.” From service, to location, to food, and drink, it was as good as we could have ever hoped for. Booking was easy and transportation, which was the most difficult part, they made sure to guide us through the process being as helpful as possible. It was personalized for our private group of 6 and the friendliness of Simone and Manuela made the visit even more special. So much delicious food, even better wine, all capped off with pristine views. Absolutely worth every second and cent. Thank you Simone and Manuela!
We rented one of their homes. It was a great find. We sat on the patio at the house and drank wine overlooking their beautiful vineyard. So peaceful. Before we left, we ordered a case of wine and had it shipped back to the US. It just arrived, perfectly packed and intact. This is such a nice winery with very friendly and helpful owners. We’d love to go back for another stay and more wine.
This was by far the best wine experience we’ve been to. This was our second visit. The drive from Siena was amazing and the winery is stunning. Simone is very knowledgeable and his presentation was informative. He recommended travel routes that took us through the heart of Tuscany and even drove others to the local bus station. The wine and olive oil are superb and we’re shipping a case home.
Been here for the wine tasting only, their wines are solid but what is incredible is the views and the how quiet the places is, the pictures speak for themselves.
I had an unforgettable experience at Il Pelagio winery, led by Simone and his family. The passion and knowledge they shared about Tuscan wines were truly inspiring. I especially loved the history of tuscan wine and Simones teachings. Every moment, from the vineyard to the wine tasting, was perfect and very satisfying. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to immerse themselves in authentic Tuscan hospitality and exceptional wines. Thank you, Simone and family, for a fantastic day.
I cannot recommend this place enough! We had first visited the vineyard back in 2019 for my birthday & we had an amazing time, on the day the heavens decided to open and we ended up doing the tasting inside (which was still a beautiful location.) Fast forward to this year, we were getting married in Tuscany and as part of our wedding trip we had organised wine tasting for our guests, I had shopped around a lot and decided to come back. I had emailed Simone 6 months in advance, as we were such a big group (around 40 people) and Simone was super helpful throughout the whole process of booking and staying in contact. When we arrived, everyone had enjoyed the view of the vineyard and then we were taken on the tour of the cellars, which all of our guests found really interesting and educational. Once we had sat down at the courtyard, we had started the wine tasting, which all of our guest really enjoyed along with the cheese and meats (even our guests who do not often drink wine, found a glass or two that they loved!) I honestly, cannot recommend this place enough! - but thank you to Simone and the team for always making us feel welcome and keeping our glasses full!
Excellent wine - yeah we’re looking forward. The owner is very knowledgeable. Take his time explaining the process in the wine. I would highly highly highly recommend this tour.

Amazing!! We did the tour with dinner. Annalise was our guide and she was wonderful!! Food was amazing- staff were so friendly and the wine was so good!! We will be back.
We stopped here as part of a ebike tour. All the food was delicious and very well presented. It was cool to see the wine cellar and see the barrels and concrete spaces that they make the wine in. If we had been ae to sit and overlook the hills and vineyard the atmosphere would have been better. The space next to the road wasn't terrible but the other side would have been better. The wine was good too.
I popped in with a friend for a quick drink, but was met with some of the worst service I’ve experienced. The staff were rude and completely disinterested. It’s a shame because the venue itself is beautiful, but honestly, not worth your time or money.
Stunning place in Tuscan countryside. Perfect to visit any time of the day, but the most beautiful experience is to come for aperitivo and stay watching the sunset. Place gets very busy in the afternoon, evening, so pre-booking Your experience is a good choice. Connections to a famous Niccolo Machiavelli adds special charm to the Borgo. Definitely one of the hidden gems worth visiting.
We went here on a recommendation of a friend. It was slow season - beginning of March, so some of the experiences were not available. But we had a wonderful lunch - was one of the top meals we had in Italy. The dinning room we ate in was so cozy - with a lovely fire. Beautiful location. Our only very small complaint is that when you park in the bottom parking lot it was not easy to figure out where the restaurant was, but I think it was becuase it was slow season and not many people about. Would highly recommend!
The sundowner drink with good music was very nice. The food in the upper part fancy restaurant didn’t really convince us for the price.
Really great restaurants. We received a basket of lovely bread and olive oil but never received plates. Food was really good but we were a party of 6 and the food came out intermittently with main courses for some coming out before our first courses. Probably a kitchen sequence issue. All in all great location and good quality food.
Fantastic dinner with an amazing hospitality, they use coravin for the service of a glass of wine from 2020, really appreciated.

We visited Terre di Perseto winery today and we absolutely loved it!! Simona our guide was very welcoming and nice. She gave us an interesting tour and answered all our questions. After the tour we did the wine tasting (we chose 4 wines and 2 cheeses option). The area itself was very peaceful and we had plenty of time to complete the tasting in nice relaxed atmosphere without being rushed. We really enjoyed the tour and the great wine!! Definitely worth a visit.
We were very disappointed with the place after reading such a great previous reviews. Ok - the guide said a lot of information- but with wine it is not just about what is said - but how it is said. The guide was very tired but he tried hard…We decided for 4 Wines with CHARCUTERIE-CURED MEAT/4 VINI con TAGLIERE AFFETTATI- the meat was not tasty… we ordered cheese- we didn’t like it as well. What was worth attention is the Olive Oil ( to taste it you pay extra) and the “Saint Wine” - we payed extra for that es well. The prices of the wine are high when you compare it to quality. In my opinion- the place was designed for big American groups or people who have no idea about the wine. We bought a bottle of a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione- for 38 Euro but we didn’t have a chance to taste it yet… Before visiting that place me and my boyfriend have been to different wineries in Italy, Spain and Greece and we both have the same opinion on the experience.
Benedetta was FANTASTIC! Greeted us like family friends vs tour patrons. Gave us a very thorough enlightening tour of the vines, olive trees, vine to wine processing area & cellar. We learned A Lot & she welcomed questions. The wines were SO good, we had 6 bottles shipped back to the States. Cheese board was DELICIOUS with creamy sheep cheeses & jam. Such a beautiful intimate family owned winery. We will definitely be back!
We book for 4 wine and cheese tasting. The wine was very good but for us what really matters was the special experience of the amazing tour. This is the best winery that we visited in Tuscany for sure. They showed us everything and everybody was so friendly and welcoming with a lot of knowledge and patience. You shouldn’t skip this winery!!
We chose to visit a smaller winery (we love supporting smaller, family-owned businesses), and wow, what a place! We opted for a tour and wine tasting with a charcuterie board. Benedetta was a fantastic host and tour guide. While we weren’t able to tour the fields (it was raining earlier in the day, and for safety reasons we could not make the trek down), the winery was beautiful and quiet. We were greeted by puppies when we initially arrived, and took a very informative tour going through the wine-making process. After our tour, we had a delightful wine tasting, and enjoyed every single glass. We also opted to try the Vino Santo for dessert. It was a remarkable experience! While we waited for our bus, we sat outside and enjoyed the sun and neighboring kitty. This experience was one of my favorites from our trip to Italia. Unforgettable and highly recommend!!
I had an amazing experience!! Simone was wonderful. She was so sweet and kind. Good wines! I enjoyed the sweet wine and i was impressed by the balsamic oil! First time with a sweet taste and so delicious. Thank you Simone!! :)
We found Terre di Perseto by chance as a last winery before we left Tuscany. I genuinely loved every wine we had. I think their Chanti were some of my favourites and the olive oil was fantastic. It was only made better by the wonderful people at the winery. Definitely a gem, definitely worth a stop. It will be on my list of places to recommend.
We are really feeling grateful to have experience a journey with you. As french wine and good food lovers we really appreciated the moment it was our first time discovering the Chianti region and its local wine production . Definitely one of the best tasting we had so far. For my friend it was her first ever wine tasting in a domain she really appreciated it. We learnt a lot and share an excellent time together ! We chanced upon this winery and had such an amazing time! It’s a family owned establishment and we felt so welcomed :) our host was the daughter of the old couple and she gave us explanations for each wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar that we tasted, all made by them. Everything was so good! Don’t miss out on this place!
We had tasting of 3 wines here and we were just amazed how welcome we felt! Also we were served some delicious bruschetta, cheese, meats, olive oil, vinegar… The host was really nice and you can tell she is doing this with lots of passion and joy. I can only recommend this estate to everyone who is looking for a real tuscan experience!
My husband and I did a wine tasting here the other day while we were staying in the area, and it was wonderful. The owner (Antonella Mori) hosted us personally and explained the wine and the olive oil that they have produced for generations. We tasted 3 wines and she served cheese, meats, and bread with their own olive oil and 3 different vinegars, along with their homegrown tomatoes which were sweet and ripe. She even told us the story of why the black rooster is a symbol of Chianti Classico wine and Tuscany (during a medieval dispute over the Chianti territory, Florence and Siena agreed to meet at dawn to determine the border using roosters). We bought olive oil to ship home and two bottles of wine to take back to the hotel with us. A delightful experience!
This was such an amazing experience. This is a small home grown operation (only 5,000 bottle of wine a year) making their own wine, olive oils, balsamics and herbs. Make sure to call ahead to schedule a tasting. Me and my family went middle of week and had a wonderful time. I’m forgetting our host name but she answered right away on her phone and was very accommodating/knowledgeable and so welcoming. You are right in heart of Chianti/Tuscany wine country. One thing to note is the tasting is done inside so don’t expect to sit on a patio. But highly recommend. Great to support local operations like this!
Don’t get fooled by large, corporate, mass operations! This spot is the real deal! Literally a family home that also has 2,000+ Olive trees and 10 hectares of grape vines! In the family since 1967! You’ll see the grandkids bikes out on the driveway! Stop your search now and go visit Antonella in her lovely tasting cellar. My wife and I literally called 15 min ahead and Antonella accommodated us without a blink of an eye. She was likely hard at work making her herb mixes or some other magical products, but dropped it all so we could taste the results of her family’s generations of know-how and experience. Antonella taught us about the wines and olive oil her family makes. She explained why each has a special name. She gave us suggestions for what to eat alongside her wines. She even gave us some of her amazing herb mix to sprinkle on our Tuscan bread soaked in her dark green, cold pressed olive oil. Yum!!! We highly recommend going to Podere San Pierino if you are at all in the San Casciano area. So worth while and most importantly to us as authentic/local as you can possibly expect. Thank you Antonella for your hospitality and welcoming us into your home. Such a special “find” for us. And for all you travelers, this will be a place you will want to share stories about to all your friends because they haven’t been here! Grazie Mille!!!
Amazing family vineyard! Great artisanal wines, olive oils and much much more! A must try, outside side of the wine tour crowds. You feel like in family.
It was a wonderful experiance. Good wine and nice host. We had the best time.
Visiting the family-owned winery was an unforgettable experience, set on a stunning 10 hectares of land surrounded by over 2,000 olive trees. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. The food and drinks were simple yet delicious, with a homemade touch that elevated every bite and sip. Sharing the experience with my family in such a beautiful, tranquil setting made it all the more special. The combination of exceptional wine, olive oil, and the cozy ambiance created lasting memories that we'll cherish.

What a special winery, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We went without a reservation, but I would recommend making one. They greeted us and had us wait for about 30 minutes for a tour, have us a glass of wine to enjoy while we waited. We got chairs by the front overlooking vineyards. The tour was lovely, learning more about the winery & the Chianti style wine they produce. After the tour we enjoyed a tasting and loved it so much we shipped home a case. In the words of our host, “you don’t need an excuse to enjoy a great bottle of wine”. We’ve saved a few bottles, but enjoyed many of them on random week days.
We popped into Luiano unannounced and were treated like family upon entry. Andrea provided us with an excellent tasting of 4 wines and a special taste of the “Hats Off” selection. She offered us a private tour of the production area and cellar that was remarkable. This winery was nice to visit due to its smaller size and “family” feel to the operation.
We stopped into Luiano without a reservation and had such a great experience! Extremely welcoming staff and lovely wines! Highly recommend visiting It was so nice to be welcomed here without any problems. We had a wine tasting with some paired small food looking over the fabulous views
I was hesitating if I should write this, but it felt pretty unfair what happened with us. We booked a wine tasting (1,5 hours) on 22/10/2025 at 12:30. The presentation and the tasting was absolutely nice, we liked the wines. Around 13.00 the guy who made the presentation said that he has to check if we can go the cellar, because they are waiting for a big group, and the cellar tour is available usually at 11.00 or later in the afternoon. It turned out that it’s not possible for us, either we wait for the group 2 hours, or we can contact them on the next day. So we had roundabout 45 minutes there and that was it. We paid the full price for the tour (+we bought wines) and hoped that on the next day we can have the cellar tour at 11.00. We contacted them on the next morning (23/10/2025), the first available tour was at 13.30, unfortunately that day was our last one in Tuscany, we had a 6 hours drive to home, so that was not an option. They didn’t try to solve the problem, and we didn’t have the full service what we paid for. The customer service definitely needs improvement.
Popped in hope to have a wine tasting and Andrea went above and beyond. The Winery is so beautiful and the wines are delicious! It was our first winery in our Tuscan tour and think it might be my favourite. Will definitely be back!
It was a beautiful day for taking in the view of the vineyards. The wine and food were delicious. We took a cinquecento Fiat ride and tour. Well worth the trip!
My mother, two sisters, brother-in-law, and I had the absolute best time visiting Luiano Winery on May 30 — and a huge part of that was thanks to our awesome tour guide Lorenzo and the incredible Andrea! As soon as we arrived, Andrea greeted us with the warmest welcome. He didn’t just give us a tour — he brought the place to life. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his passion for the winery (and wine!) is contagious. He went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, explaining the winemaking process in a way that was both fascinating and fun. And the wines? Out of this world. Every single one was better than the last. Honestly, we’ve been to quite a few wineries, but this one? Easily one of the best — if not the best — we’ve ever been to. Huge thank you to Luiano Winery, and especially to Andrea, for making it such a special and memorable day. You’re a rockstar! 🍷🙌
Absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide was named Martina and she was perfect! She was highly formative, friendly and made our experience of wine tasting fabulous. I can highly recommend the food option that complements the wine perfectly! This is the perfect tastying and can highly recommend tuscan experience. Thank you!

A perfect place to connect with Krishna!! Amazing vibes and a soul stirring experience.
A beautiful medieval villa now set in the Tuscan countryside a stones throw away from Florence. It is a spiritual oasis with a temple and museum of the Hare Krishna movement (ISKCON). They also have about 10 cows which they care for and protect. Kids will love feeding them. The wonderful museum has paintings depicting scenes from the Mahabharata and other activities of Krishna. The food was divine. Fresh and completely vegetarian or vegan. Arrange a taxi by emailing the temple on or visit their website. Time your visit according to the scheduled tours if possible.
Great positive vibes great place to get spiritual ,very peaceful and great hindu temple in italy. Did Darshan on day of Janmasthmi.
Probably the most beautiful Hari Krishna temple in the world! Beautiful landscapes, comfortable rooms and dormitories, amazing temple where the devotees are always singing the Hari Krishna Maha Mantra! Great place for retreats, but bring your own food because the main Indian cook doesn’t know how to cook 😉
An amazing place in the beautiful Tuscanese countryside, only a few minutes drive from Florence. The buildings are so beautiful. My favourite part is the temple room with the incredibly beautiful deities.
This is a kind of spiritual place because there is one hindu temple inside this property...it belongs to the ISKCON organisation. So, the idols that are situated inside the temple are of Shri Radha and Shri Krishna and their family. I went there on the occasion of the Durga Puja festival...it was an amazing experience....the main activities in which I was able to participate were Sandhya aarti of Gau mata and Sandhya aarti of Shri Radha and Krishna... timings were 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm respectively.... After the Aarti they served Prasad which was also very delicious. We came back home at around 8:30 pm.. The only problem is that there is no public transport which can take you there....you can reach there only by your own car or something.
This place is simply beautiful!!! The epitome of how worship and Italy can combine to give a beautiful experience for all who wish to enjoy it. The gardens and villa are beautiful with breathtaking scenery all around. When I went there was also an amazing art work exhibition on. I didn't get a chance to eat at Govindas restaurant but I'm sure that is just as good!! Hare Krishna!
Amazing spiritual community with genuine contemporary practitioners. They also have their own cows and milk. Very nice vegetarian food. A bit hard to reach by public transportation. But some busses are there. Make sure you keep the schedule in mind when you venture into town. Otherwise, you might not be able to get back to the Villa in the evening.

Elegant B&B on the grounds of a castle & a 1500s farmhouse, plus a winery & a restaurant.

We had a wine tasting here. The view was picturesque and the wine cellar was under the street in a castle. my kids had a great experience with the walk through. The bathrooms were very clean. The descriptions by our guide were colorful and full of personality. Highly recommend the wine tasting experience for these reasons.
The castle was truly beautiful, and the staff were energetic and kind. I was completely enchanted by the elegance that comes with age, and I had such a joyful time during our two-night stay. From the winery tour to the restaurant and the pool — we enjoyed every part of the facilities and had a truly relaxing holiday. This stay allowed me to fully take in the beauty of la regione del Chianti in Toscana — memories from Castello di Gabbiano that we will treasure for years to come.
If you are looking for an authentic gem in the middle of the Tuscany Valley then this Castle with its scenic view of lush hills and farms is as good as it gets. Beautiful! Mixed with an exquisite swimming pool and Mediterranean gardens, this is the place to be for wine, dine and relax in your luxury vacation.
An unforgettable experience at Castello di Gabbiano! The wine here is absolutely incredible — beautifully balanced, expressive, and true to the heart of Chianti. Our tasting with Simone was the highlight of our visit; he was knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about sharing both the history of the estate and the craft behind each wine. The setting itself is stunning, with panoramic vineyard views that feel straight out of a painting. I can’t wait to return and stay at the property next time. Thank you to Simone and the entire team for such a memorable and authentic Tuscan experience!
We had an amazing 6 nights with our family in the apartments which are just down the hill from the castle. It was very hot so we spent a lot of time at the awesome pool which overlooks the vineyards. Highly recommend the on site restaurant & the wine tour. Staff were super friendly & very helpful. Overall we loved our stay!
I booked Castello di Gabbiano with high hopes based on all the positive reviews. In fact, it somehow exceeded my high expectations. The place is gorgeous, the views are impossibly beautiful, and the staff were amazing and friendly. The breakfast spread was first class and local, and there is an honor bar at the pool that serves both snacks and the Castello’s own wines as well as beer and other drinks. Gabbiano was the highlight of our recent two weeks in Italy and I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Chianti. Book this place if you can.
We did the wine tasting with Simone. The tour was excellent and the wine even better. We learnt a lot about tuscany wine from Simone as well! Their olive oil also a must try! Thank you Simone
We spent 2 nights here and we couldn't be happier with our stay. We booked a family room which was situated in a building close to the castle. It had one double bed on the middle floor and one bed each on the lower and upper floors. There was one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The pool att the castle was really nice, with an honesty bar right next to it where you could get ice cream and drinks. In the afternoons, complementary coffee and pastry was available. The staff was excellent and very service minded.

Filippo educated us on the history, production process and the politics of wine in Toscano with great passion. All while drinking some great wine and feeling at home in his garden.
We had a great experience meeting Filippo at his vineyard for some wine tasting. He welcomed us warmly and explained a lot about the wine making process as well as the circumstances of a family-owned vineyard. We sampled four wines, and they showcased the great range of flavours produced by Podere dell'Uliveto. We paid 10€ per person an the wine was the focus of the whole meeting. Talking to Filippo was really easy (contacted him on whatsapp) and we were able to schedule an early sunday wine tasting on the saturday beforehand. Filippo was nice and helpful and also helped us to buy some local pecorino from a neighbouring farm. I would recommend to visit Podere Dell'Uliveto to anybody interested in wine and an authentic tuscan experience without the unnecessary frills.
Great wine tasting, where Filippo shared a lot of interesting information without overloading us with details. He also answered our questions very patiently, and of course he makes very nice wines, from which we brought a few bottles (which were very reasonably priced) home. 10/10 recommend.
Great and very personal wine tasting! Filippo is such a passionate man who told us all the ins and outs about his farm, wine, honey, it’s history, production and more. The wines were really tasty and we definitely brought home a variety and some of the delicious honey. Would recommend everyone to pay a visit, just give Filippo a call or drive by :)
Filippo really took his time to give us a very interesting wine tasting! All of the five red wines we tried were very good. Unfortunately we already bought so much wine to take home, there just wasn't enough space for a lot of his wines. We can absolutely recommend this place!
Filippo was amazing. He is the owner of the vineyard and was our guide. The wines are fantastic and everything else as well. They also produce olive oil and honey at the property. All organic and included in the tasting. Absolutely recommend it, but be prepared it's mpossible to leave without a few bottles!
What can I say more then the 5 star rating I'm giving. This place is a hidden treasure! My wife & I were looking for a last minute wine tour after a rainy morning in the Tuscan countryside when we came across this vineyard. Filippo the owner was kind and extremely knowledgeable of the 5 different wines we tasted and also the olive oil he offered as well. They were so good we bought a few bottles for the rest of our trip and shipped some more for home.
Wonderful wine, olive oil, honey, and hospitality. Filippo is awesome. Such passion and heart put into his product. Perfect experience. His wines are great. Skip the big winery nearby. Go visit him instead!!!

We stopped at the winery spontaneously and were very happy we did. Francesca is a great host and took the time to show us around. And above all the wine was excellent, among the best we drank in Italy. Italian hospitality and high quality wine at its finest!
Wonderful family owned winery. Francesca was very informative and engaging. The wine was excellent for the price and you could really tell the positive impact of the aging they do for the Chianti. Well worth a visit.
Thank you Roberto for the Tuscan wine tour. Our favorite one of the three but all were very good. Thank you Francesca for our private tour learning about the history and passions that goes into every bottle of Solatione’s wine. I believe it was the group’s favorite. Thank you again Francesca.
Amazing vineyard. Such a beautiful location and facility. Francesca is so warm and knowledgeable about her family business. Sitting with her was like having wine with a friend. And the wine was delicious !!!! Can't wait to receive it at home.
Awesome! A small, family business carried out with love and passion. The wines where exceptionally good and well priced. The owner was really nice and cared for us to learn about the process and the enjoyment of the wine. I’d come back!
This is our favourite place to visit in Tuscany, the wines are all superb and Francesca is a wonderful host. If you like your wine then this is a must visit.
Had an absolutely incredible experience here with Francesca. 2nd generation vineyard owner (with her brother), knowledgable and passionate about her craft. Her son is in winemaker trade school, picking up all the modern and worldly techniques to bring back home. It’s a small vineyard that only produces wine with their top grapes, selling the rest to other local wineries. What you’re left with is the top of the line reds that Chianti has to offer. Absolutely must visit for any wine lover!
A must see family owned winery! Francesca was very kind and accommodating. She was personable and made us feel we were at home. She answered all of our questions and showed us around. We learned about the family and the wine making process. The winery is beautiful! We liked all the wines we tasted. Highly recommend this experience!

It was open on Sunday and saved the day: it had pretty much all we needed for a dinner at home. Very kind!
Small family-owned shop where the locals go, with a good selection of artisanal bread, biscotti, charcuterie, homemade local dishes and more. Excellent, patient service 👍
Another great place in Mercatale. Bread is fantastic and the owner is such a great guy. Try the antique loaf or the integral loaf. His mortadella is delicious and he has a local goat ricotta that simply makes you want to cry of joy.
Beppe has a fantastic selection of local produce as well as many other deli items. Friendly, generous service always.
Always perfect 👌🏻

Castello di Bibbione in Tuscany is an absolutely breathtaking wedding venue! The views are insane – rolling hills as far as the eye can see, giving that classic Tuscan countryside feel. The courtyard is beautiful, perfect for an intimate ceremony or reception, and the art hanging on the walls inside adds so much character to the place. The garden overlooking the stunning scenery is a dream setting, especially at sunset. The friendly staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure everything runs smoothly. As wedding photographers, we absolutely loved working at Castello di Bibbione. The scenery is like a painting, and it offers endless opportunities for capturing unforgettable moments. If you're looking for a romantic and picturesque venue in Tuscany, Castello di Bibbione is a perfect choice!
My husband and I had the privilege of hosting our destination wedding at Castello di Bibbione, in early June The historic property is breathtaking with picturesque views, pools, trails, and quaint accommodations. The wedding was incredible and the perfect place to spend quality time with our friends and family! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our welcome party, ceremony, reception, and brunch. The breakfast service was incredible and our guests enjoyed the pools, yoga class, and bike rentals. I wanted to provide updated insights to the security issues mentioned in other reviews - We asked the staff about the reviews prior to the event and they walked us through the various measures they took to enhance security on the property. At check in they ensured we knew how to lock the doors and windows. Each room has a safe with printed instructions. We saw several security cameras and private security monitoring the venue over night. We felt very safe and secure during our stay! I highly recommend Castello di Bibbione for weddings and even a weekend getaway. It was an honor to have just a beautiful place be such an important part of our lives and we hope to return in the future ❤️
Christiana at the front desk was great, as well was Francesca who prepared our breakfasts. Other than that, this place was a disappointment. Beds were hard, toilet didn't have a seat on it, no shower curtain leading to a soaked bathroom floor every time we showered. Bedroom had 3 hangers in the closet. For a place in wine country, it had a total of 3 oddly shaped wine glasses. Sorry but I would not recommend this place. They need to take a step back and reassess things.
We had the immense joy to have had our wedding at the beautiful Castello Di Bibbione- everything from the venue, setting and staff were complete perfection. The grounds are simply breath taking, the rooms are all incredibly authentic and beautiful. Both of us and our guests had the weekend of a lifetime. We most definitely will be returning for years to come.
Me and my wife stayed here and was robbed the first night, as we were sleeping. Door locks are terrible and there are no bars on the windows and NO air conditioning. Owner is a con artist and didn’t even return the money for the room. Stopped answering emails and calls but drives around in a Lamborghini. Seems like he set up the robbery
I had high expectations for our stay at the castle, but unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. On the very first night, we were robbed while we were sleeping in our room. Waking up to discover that our personal belongings had been stolen was terrifying and left us feeling completely violated. What made this even worse was the lack of security measures. For a place that markets itself as a historical and luxurious retreat, there were no cameras or security in the premises . the staff’s response to the situation was disappointing. They seemed like they didn’t care , which added to our frustration. While the castle itself is beautiful and the surroundings are picturesque, the experience of being robbed ruined any positive aspects of our stay. It also ruined my best friend wedding day, waking up to find out all her guest were robbed was heartbreaking to the point she didn’t even want to get married . I would advise anyone considering this location to think twice and be cautious, as the safety and security of guests should always be the top priority.
While the location is stunningly beautiful, I strongly advise against staying there due to a series of unfortunate events. On the first day, my friend's wedding party was robbed, with thieves making off with cash, jewelry, and luxury bags from the guest buildings. Despite being aware of the robberies, the staff failed to warn us at check-in. Their response to the incident was inadequate, simply stating that windows should have been closed to prevent the theft. No compensation or empathy was offered, which marred my friend's special day. The lack of security cameras and air conditioning (only fans were provided) further exacerbates the risks. The owner and staff took no accountability for the robbery, leading us to leave the premises the same night. Unfortunately, this place has serious safety concerns.
Everything was fine but we were burgled on day 1. No option to store valuables safely in either a room safe or the reception. Would cost £30 per room to buy a cheap safe and bolt to wall. Lost an irreplaceable family heirloom - could have been so easily avoided. No security on site at all either. Such a shame.
