Fantastic art wood museum with a variety of great valuable treasure collections. Thanks to the tour guide who provided Interesting history information. It would have been wonderful if the place was a little cooler and all the restrooms have water. I still strongly recommend this museum to everyone. It's a good experience that is worth visiting.
You’ll be amazed by the breathtaking collection of wood carvings, intricate sculptures, and imaginative concepts on display. The 250 baht entrance fee for foreigners is truly worth every bit—it feels less like a ticket and more like a contribution to something meaningful. I’m genuinely grateful to the owner for his passion and generosity in making this museum accessible to the public. It’s a gift of love, carved in wood and spirit. The surrounding resort is embraced by lush greenery, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. If the opportunity arises, I would love to experience the accommodation as well. All in all, this is easily one of the most memorable and inspiring places I’ve ever visited.
Awesome place. Beautiful wooden art and statues. Should go here!!!?
This art museum is dedicated to the artistry of woodcarving and craftsmanship. It features multiple buildings filled with a stunning collection of wooden artifacts and handicrafts from across Asia. You can see divine entities from a variety of cultures, including those from Indonesia, Burma, India, Cambodia, and Thailand. The museum's collection includes a wide range of spiritual and cultural statues, notably a large number of Ganesha statues , loaded of wooden Absara, as well as various figures from Chinese culture. I think the scale and detail of the carvings make the entry fee well worth it. #woodland #woodlandเมืองไม้ #นครปฐม #นครชัยศรี #stunning #fantastic #artifacts #divine #entities #culture #woodcarving #craft #97km97km #its6pmsomewhere #กื๋อบางกรวย
Woodland a museum in Nakronphathom Province, Thailand 🇹🇭, that houses carvings of art from Thailand, Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and several other Asian countries. The pieces are phenomenal, and the guide informed us that a few took up to 10 years to complete. This is a must-see exhibition of art at it's finest. So if you are ever in the Land of Smiles, this will make you smile from ear to ear.
An amazing museum to visit . So much to see. Have great restaurant ,coffee shop and a souvenir shop. beautiful garden with many baobab trees.
Just visited the Woodland Museum and it was such an amazing experience! 🌳✨ Learned about different types of wood and how carving styles vary across Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar. The wooden sculptures are unbelievably detailed, some made from a single piece of wood! Big thanks to our guide, Teacher Aod, who explained everything with so much knowledge and fun storytelling. After the tour, we chilled at a riverside café, perfect ending to the day. Highly recommend this place if you love art, culture, and a bit of magic!
Beautiful land and decorated, I enjoy to visit here very much. As determine for visit here only one hour however, I take 5 hrs. The museum is good, fantastic and gorgeous. The area around here make me feel relaxing including having lunch close to the river and listen to the birds singing. Recommend to come here.

Ancient Buddhist temple offering traditional Thai tattoos in an ornate space with murals & statues.
Slide 1 of 8
A famous temple and popular for its traditional sakyant tattoo. Tourist also come to pay homage to the monk whose body is preserved at the temple.
This is one of the most renowned temples in Thailand—and also where I got my very first tattoo about 10 years ago. I’ve now returned to receive another, making this place even more special to me. If you can endure the pain and are seeking a genuine sak yant (sacred tattoo), this is the place to go. The process begins with a small offering—120 baht for flowers, candles, and cigarettes—and then a donation of any amount from the heart to the monk who performs the tattoo. Authentic, spiritual, and incredibly affordable—this temple remains the most meaningful place to receive a true sak yant blessing.
First off, I am a Christian so I do not go here for any religious purposes. My trip is merely to document details and architecture. Overall, Wat Bang Phra is very interesting as it has deep history in Sak Yant tattoo. I have been a few times but recently came for Sak Yant Festival. It was eye opening to say the least.
Nice food and very helpful friendly owner! Support local , aroi Mak
A temple that has more monks status and gurus rather than Buddha A place to obtain special blessing from monk and tattoo More commercial then religion Selling tiger tooth amulet from baht 80,000.00 to 150,000.00 and higher. Now you the meaning Free entry Unless you are asking for special blessing
Wat Bang Phra is well known for Sak Yant, a traditional Thai Tattoo done by Ajarn. Plan your visit, as it is about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from Bangkok City Area. A historically important Buddhist temple in Thailand, it's worth the visit. The late abbot Luang Phor Pern body resides in the main building of the temple.
Visit early in the morning so it's not so crowded. Temple with the monk famous for sitting on a tiger. Most visitors are local. You can also get tattoos done by the temple monk. In our last visit we arrive at 9am in the morning and they said we may have to wait till 4pm for our turn! Arrived at 7.30am today and there was no queue. There's an ATM if you run out of cash and donations can be done with PromptPay as well!
A must to come here for blessings! Booked a car for 5 hours at 1400THB. Told driver to reached at 9.30am. Arranged for pickup at hotel and began the journey there. FOLLOW THIS STEPS: 1) Go straight to amulet counter and buy amulets that attracts your attention (Those with fate will be a great blessing) 2) Take out your phone casing and money note that you won’t be spending. Pass all your amulet, phone case, money note and whatever that you wished to be blessed to the counter master in monk attire. (He speaks Chinese) Tell him to to draw yant and chant your items. 2.5) This master will help you to draw yant for all your items, gold foil luck lifting on forehead and tongue, gold foil on both palm, oil anointing and chanting. ALL FOR FREE! (Many came with 100/200+ items to draw yant and sell them) 3) While doing step 2, you may want to go to the entrance counter to purchase the flower, joss stick and tray (40THB) for the main master blessing later. Recommend you to put your wallet on the tray, master will take your wallet and draw yant, to bless money grow money. 4) For amulet casing, walk out and go to the nearest tent outside. The aunty will help you do casing at 100 THB per casing. 5) Take photos for your social media, do this last so you will not join the crowd later for blessings.

Unique museum displaying a large array of vintage vehicles, including cars, motorbikes & planes.
Slide 1 of 8
Actually this is a huge area. Old car displays are only 1 portion. Before reaching the car displays, there are 2 old train engines. There also old planes which I did not visit. The displays are placed like junk yard which collect dust and rust. It need a good mechanic to salvage and refurbished to properly give the old machine some life as a museum.
Great place for those into cars and motorcycles. Go up the road a little bit on the left they are starting up an aviation section. As you leave the main automobile area keep looking to the right looks like they are getting big trucks and construction vehicles. For serious photographers bring a polarizing lense. The light from the outside creates glare and unwanted light. Much improvements since my last time there 4 years ago Admission is the same for Thai and Foreigners FREE!!!#
Great place and completely free. We detoured on our way from Rayong up to Kanchanaburi but it was nearly on route. There are plenty of cars to look around (but not to get into) with some rare ones like s DeLorean. There is not any AC and there are vendors outside selling the usual Thai food which I am sure is welcome. I will go back again but if you're not a car or motorbike fan it's not going to hold much interest for you.
A little far from the city. You'll have to get a return taxi or rent a car/bike. Excellent collection of cars, bikes and a bunch of children's pedal cars. You'll also find a strange collection of planes and a locomotive also. Worth the trip for any petrol head. But summer visits can be killer. It's a massive shed and it can be kinda hot despite lots of fans. Star attractions include unusual cars like a set of Citroen 2CV in every color, a Delorean and an amphibious car among the Mustang, Minis and Japanese land yatches. Bangladeshi visitors will need surprised to find rickshaws taken all the way from.....well, Bangladesh.
Plenty of antique cars and bikes, most important it's free for entry .u also can donate any amount u like to support the local education.BTW,Dont forget to drop by anther place about 100m down the road, where parks some old buses and planes
This vintage car collection belong to private businesses man who fond of vintage car, it is 6 km. from Amphoe Nakorn Chai Sri ( 50 km. from Bangkok). There are three interesting car, the first one is red colored same model shown in a part of popular film ( Jame Bond), he drove this car dived through the water, the second one is the same model of popular film(Back to the future) and the third one is real used during WW2 by SS( Schutzstaffel,a former paramilitary organization in Nazi Germany), a bullet hole shown at the car is strong evidence. This place ( Jesada Technik Museum) welcome visitors free of charge.
A bit out of town but if you're a fan of cars.. particularly unusual ones its worth the drive. Great selection of unusual and unique cars. FREE entry... lots of models you will never have seen.
Car and other vehicle museum in Nakorn pathom, close to BKK, Free entrance a lot of classic car that some model you didn't seen it before. Recommend for Car's lover or someone who would like to taje a cool& Chick photo. Very good place Don't miss when you go to Nakorn pathom #LetGuides #LocalGuide

Wax museum since 1989 with fiberglass sculptures depicting famous figures in Thai history & culture.
Slide 1 of 8
Very life-like realistic wax figures display. The exhibit has two levels, the first has past monks and the royal family, while the second has famous people from all over the globe. Entry ticket for foreigners is 300 baht per person. The journey here from Bangkok is A bit far taking an hour.
Good for anyone who interesting in film industry and good for kid to learn. They also have movie show but need to book a slot. No ticket required even foreigner but need to register for visitor at entrance.
The Thai Wax Museum is a fascinating place to explore! The wax figures are incredibly lifelike, showcasing historical figures, cultural icons, and everyday Thai life with stunning detail. It’s both entertaining and educational, offering insights into Thai history and culture. The museum is well-maintained, and the exhibits are thoughtfully arranged. It’s a great spot for families and history buffs alike. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
A two-level museum with ample free parking. Wheelchair friendly. Can access upper floor via elevator. Astounding lifelike figures of Thai monarchs, revered monks, Thai mythical and historical figures with a few international figures thrown in. Very realistic artwork. I especially liked the Thai children figures engaging in retro pastimes. Visitors are allowed to freely take photographs in the museum except with/of the Thai monarchs. You have to engage the in-house photographer with payment of 60 baht per 8x11” printed photo. Bear in mind almost half of the figures are of revered Thai monks who are mostly unknown to foreigners. Despite that, it was an amazing visit.
Really lovely and adorable place to go. Actually a MUST when you are traveling in Thailand 🇹🇭 ! Next to BKK on the way to Hua Hin. I love the details in this museum. The figures look so real and are made with so much love. Freshly renovated, so friendly staff working there. The rooms are styled so nicely and really classy colors etc.! We will come back with the rest of the family.
Thai Human Imagery Museum Showcases wax figures of notable figures from various fields across two well-arranged floors, with impressive lighting and photo spots. Around the building, visitors can enjoy paddle boats, shooting games, ring toss, balloon darts, and souvenir shops. A nice stop if you’re passing through the area. However, the ticket counter service needs improvement — staff showed poor attitude and did not inform about the free admission for mothers on Mother’s Day, resulting in full charges for all visitors.
I went on a weekday afternoon and only saw three other people. Entrance was 300 Baht which is a little expensive for the size of the place in my opinion. But I still liked the realistic wax figures, especially the monks and they are presented in a cool way. Worth a stop if you are going to Wat Sam Phran as well.
A great place to see fantastic examples of wax art. Life like figures of Monks and Royal family and life of Thai people and culture is at display. A must visit place for those who want to know and understand Thai history and culture.

Wat Klang Bang Phra, in the district of Nakhon Chai Si, Nakhon Pathom, is a popular pilgrimage site renowned for its diverse spiritual practices. While the temple's ambiance may be disrupted by the loudspeakers guiding visitors, it remains a significant spiritual destination for many. One of the primary reasons people flock to Wat Klang Bang Phra is to seek divine intervention in selling land that has been stagnant on the market. Devotees believe that by performing specific rituals and making merit at this temple, they can attract positive energy and facilitate successful property transactions. Beyond land sales, the temple also caters to the needs of those who wish to prepare for the afterlife. By donating coffins for the destitute, individuals can accumulate significant merit and ensure a peaceful transition for those who may not have the means to provide for their own funeral arrangements. For those seeking general spiritual well-being, Wat Klang Bang Phra offers a variety of opportunities to make merit. From lighting incense sticks to offering food to monks, these acts of generosity are believed to purify the mind, body, and soul. The temple's well-maintained grounds and ample parking facilities make it easily accessible to visitors. While the cleanliness of the temple is generally commendable, the occasional noise pollution from the loudspeakers may detract from the overall peaceful atmosphere. Despite this minor drawback, Wat Klang Bang Phra remains a vibrant and spiritually significant place. Its ability to cater to a wide range of spiritual needs, coupled with its convenient location and accessible facilities, makes it a popular destination for both local residents and tourists alike.
The local temple in NakornPhanom. It most powerful culture. The temple provides you with many choices of releasing the karma. Good to visit for blessings.
Even at this covid-19 times plenty of people do go there to pray and to get blessed for good time and good luck. For the first time visitor asks the local what is the best steps to go about praying. If you plan to go in the noon bring umbrella because it can be very very hot.
Today there was an overcast so it was a wonderful day to tour this Temple. It's under construction but the main Buddha is still accessible. A must see if you can
Big funny face Buddha
Big Buddha, cheap local food and fantastic people... Absolutely! Amazing 10 bath noodles
A good place to go to donate and make merit. Large parking area.

I revisited this golf club, and the numerous hazards throughout the course added a good challenge to the game. The greens were exceptionally well-maintained, which was very satisfying. However, the caddies were a bit hit or miss—while they were friendly, it seemed like finding a well-trained caddie was a matter of luck. Although the location is about an hour from downtown, it was still a great experience overall.
Even though I am a Korean tourist, I think I have visited Suwan Golf Club about 6 times in a short period of time. I am satisfied every time I visit. First, it has the best condition among the courses in the mid-to-high price range. The course is also satisfactory. It is not too long, not too short, and has a moderate amount of water hazards. The condition of the grass is also very good. Except for one disadvantage of being too far from downtown Bangkok, it is a course that is hard to find a disadvantage. I recommend it.
Great golf course just over an hours drive, west of Bangkok. Great facilities, exceptional tee to green and caddies were very experienced and helpful with club selections and green reading. Would definitely return.
One of the best courses I have played in Thailand and amazing value for money. The course is very fair but just be aware there is water on every hole so maybe not ideal if you are a 30+ handicapper. Caddie had excellent knowledge. Highly recommended.
Excellent course conditions, caddies were warm and professional. Solo round at 7.50am took only 3.5 hrs, back in BKK before lunch. Great value for money, would come back for sure.
Love this golf place ! Probably the best one I played in 2025 ! Well maintained course and reasonably price! Will definitely back again with friends!
they have a new cart And the bestcaddy Pui!!! The restaurant is really cheap and good Only bad thing is too far from the back
Hidden gem of a golf course. Course on if the better ones around the area. Long and difficult course but worth your time.
