A peaceful temple complex surrounded by nature, with a giant white Buddha statue that’s hard to miss. What makes it special is that you can actually go inside the statue and walk through several floors filled with Buddhist scenes. The area is free to enter and not too crowded, which makes it a great stop near Elephant Waterfalls. You only need about 30–45 minutes to explore, unless you want to sit and relax. A calm, spiritual spot that feels more authentic than many other touristy temples.
Located just outside Da Lat, Linh An Pagoda is home to one of the tallest Buddha statues in Vietnam — a towering figure of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, standing at over 60 meters high. The sheer size and presence of the statue are truly awe-inspiring, especially as it looks out over the surrounding lush hills and valleys. Up close, we noticed that the statue is showing signs of weathering, with noticeable patches of peeling paint and many fragments scattered across the base. It’s a little unfortunate, but it doesn’t take away from the statue’s majesty or the peaceful atmosphere around it. Hopefully, restoration work will be carried out soon.m ( it needs some ) From the viewing platform beneath the statue, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views — including a clear line of sight to Thác Voi (Elephant Falls), which lies nearby and makes for a perfect add-on to your visit. In fact, the contrast between the roaring waterfall below and the serene figure above adds a dramatic spiritual element to the experience. There’s a small temple at the base, and the grounds are peaceful with very few tourists. Worth stopping by if you’re exploring the outskirts of Da Lat or headed toward the falls.
Linh An Pagoda was one of our many must-go tourist attractions. While we were stranded on our first day in Da Lat due to the early arrival of the sleeper bus from Ho Chi Minh City, we were lucky Linh An Pagoda opens at 6.:30am. It has one of the tallest Guan Yin statue and climbing it was quite difficult. But with my queen, I was able to complete without much difficulty. The interior of Guan Yin statue has 9 levels and all with offerings
Beautiful place to visit. A lot of statues. You can go up inside the Buddha lady which was amazing. The view of the waterfall is stunning
Beautiful temples definitely worth having a look. The largest buddha, made from flowers, and all the coloured work on the temples is from broken shards of pottery and glass
We had a great time visiting the Pagoda! 🏯 The parking was free, which was a nice bonus. 🚗 We didn’t have to walk far to explore all the interesting sights, and the highlight was definitely one of the largest statues I’ve ever seen—truly impressive! 🗿✨ Although the nearby waterfall was closed during our visit, we could still walk down the stairs and get pretty close to take some great pictures. 📸 🌊 The entire place had a lovely atmosphere, and we would definitely recommend visiting again. 👍 The only minor downside was that some of the decorations, like the deer figures, felt a bit out of place with the overall style. 🦌🎨 However, that didn’t take away from the experience, and it’s absolutely worth a visit!
Such a big and beautiful statue. If you climb up into the statue, you can have great view to the waterfall.
Lovely peaceful area with gorgeous, intricate work on the many sculptures and statues. The journey inside the goddess structure is excellent with multiple levels of prayer room. And the surrounding garden area makes for a lovely walk of contemplation. The waterfall in the background adds to the perfect ambience

Vin was an exceptional tour guide for our 3-day trip in Dalat. He took us to many wonderful places in the city as well as the countryside. Not only was he knowledgeable and friendly, but also humorous and gentle. He showed genuine interest in both my partner’s culture (from the United States) and mine (from Japan), and often made light-hearted jokes about our backgrounds—which made the tour even more enjoyable. Our driver was also excellent—very safe and professional throughout the trip. We truly hope to have another tour like this in another city in the future!
My wife and I have had a wonderful and unforgettable holiday at Dalat, very much thanks to the superb guiding provided by Vin, our personal tour guide. We were amply showered with great care, and the out of the world 'secrets' of Dalat. We were enthralled by the exquisite temples, wondrous water falls, and informative visits to the farms. Vin, has been a wonderful guide, with indepth knowledge of local secrets, generously unveiled over the 3 days wondrously to my beloved wife and me. His sense of humour was pretty good too. Vin is highly recommended, he has been a superb guide, and this tour company operates professionally and take great pains in seeing through our needs. Vin, is a must for a wonderfully Dalat holiday. Cheers and best regards, Hilda and Charles Chow, Malaysia.
We spent three fantastic days with Vin exploring both Dalat city sights as well as the surrounding countryside. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Vin knows everything you would ever want to know, but delivers the information in a fun, engaging, and accessible way. He's been a guide for 15 or more years and it really shows. He is a professional that knows how to not just share info, but also how to make your day a perfectly enjoyable one. His English - and you should not take this for granted in Vietnam - is stellar. Very easy to understand him as he has no thick accent to decipher.
I did a country side tour with Vin and the tour was amazing! He’s a very knowledgeable and funny guide! I felt safe riding the motorbike as he drives safely. You will experience a different side of Dalat and it’s a must to do list when in Dalat!
Had an amazing easy rider tour with Vin. His English is perfect and he is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Really enjoyed the whole experience and I felt 100% safe on the back of the bike. Great experience and highly recommend the tour.
Had a great Day! Vin is a super cool guy, speaks perfect English and knows his stuff. My Family and I had a great time - highly recommended!
Vin is truly an outstanding tour guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure I felt comfortable along the way. Exploring the area by bike gave the trip a refreshing and authentic touch, allowing me to connect more deeply with the local surroundings and culture. Every stop felt meaningful, and the whole journey was filled with little details that made it special. Thanks to Vin’s thoughtful guidance, it became an experience to remember. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a more genuine, fun, and memorable adventure.
Had a great jeep tour for the day around Dalat countryside. Learned so much from our great guide Vin as we travelled around in style in the good old reliable jeep, great fun. Highly recommend this tour as an option if not wanting to do motorbike, we were well looked after, our driver was very safe and Vin went out of his way to show us so much of life around Dalat.

What an overwhelming experience. Especially mum is amazing. 70 years young and so full of energy. Working from 5am till 10pm (voluntary 😄). Thanks for the great food, hospitality, arranged tours and warm hearts. I will be back! ❤️ 🐾
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Great place! 👍 Definite recommendation for everyone with motorbikes! (But make sure to call them, before you go there.) The area it self is very much off the beaten path. It is a very lovely, little village with literally no other tourist but with everything you need: Some restaurants, some supermarkets, two gas stations and some of the best and freshest tofu we ever tried! 😀 The nearby nature reserve gave us some of the most authentic experiences of nature and landscape we had in our whole time in Viet Nam. Great pine forests, scattered on some sweet hills you can hike up (if you want to get regarded with amazing views), rainforest and desert - everything in one place! With Google Maps, its satellite-view option and especially the help and advise of the owners of this homestay, we managed to do a nice, 15km long circular tour through diverse sceneries. The homestay is kept by a gorgeous family! ☺️ They can speak very good English (a lot better than we do 😆), so it was easy to have many conversations with them. We learned a lot about Viet Nam and its culture. They showed us around the valley, explained us what kinds of different fruits and vegetables they grow in their huge garden and they even own a coffee plantation! We tried our best, helping them with sorting the coffee-beans and were allowed to try their delicious three different types of finished ice-coffees. 😋 The building itself is designed like the traditional stilt houses in the very north of the country. Thats because the family has its origins in the province of Ha Giang. You will barely find any other house like this in the south of Viet Nam. They have private rooms as well as a dormitory, good sanitary facilities (hot showers! 😁) and also probably the best food we ever ate! 🤤 If all of that is not enough yet, I am sure, the fishpond, their dogs and the hammocks will make your time there perfect! Instead of one night, we ended up staying three. Watch out, this could definitely happen to you as well! 😜😊
Stayed here for a few hours before our trip to Ta Nang-Phan Dung. We got some much needed rest and recharge in their cozy upstairs sleeping area, which was stocked with an abundance of blankets and pillows. The bathrooms and shower facilities were also well kept and very clean. The staff graciously prepared for us an early breakfast of noodle soup and hot coffee at 6:AM. Overall a very peaceful and lovely place to stay and rest while on your way to wherever it is you’re going
It is a very lovely place to stay. People are lovely and very helpfull.
Friendly, organic and must-go place. love it.
Great food, quality service
