We visited on 5 December 2024. We didn’t plan to come here but as we drove by, we saw the huge white buddha statue which drew us in for a visit. The temple area is huge with a local market and food area. We also fed the huge fishes in the pond area. An enjoyable visit 🙏🏻
About 90km from Bangkok, 2-3 hours by car, the temple is very spacious, and offers many activities for sightseeing and eating inside and outside the temple. very beautiful and worth experiencing
Exceptional area of many Wats and interesting Buddha's and other features. Must have a car to drive around as the areas are very large. Have been here twice and enjoyed it immensely both times. Its about 130 klms from Bangkok.
Honestly amazing, one of the best temples I have been to in Thailand. There’s so much to see, you can spend hours walking around looking at all the different areas. There’s most striking area was the portrayal of heaven, it was very intense but amazing to see. If you are driving in the area this is a place you must stop on the way, it is free to walk around and you can make a donation to the monks if you would like. Also a market in the temple, we were there on a Saturday so I don’t if if it’s only a weekend thing or not.
A great temple to visit where you can see depictions of Heaven and Hell from perspective of Buddhism. Highly recommend to go on a special/national day such as mothers/fathers/children etc similar to bank holidays in the UK where majority are off work and spend their time at the temple to enjoy street vendors food and shops and pay respect/make merits to the temple. Ample of parking spaces as the temples ground is vast. It’s free entrance as it being a place of worship.
Very large temple with more than a dozen statues and structures. Must visit if you are in the area. Have to walk 30 min - 2 hours to cover all the places. Maintenance needs to be improved a bit but overall well maintained. You can find local produce and food in the market next to it.
The temple here really famous in local area and really huge locations you may walk with many hours to complete the stature there. As lot of them surround the areas. It is great to visit. The local market provides some restaurants with local food ans local menus with pictures for foreigners to choose inside of verbal. We did some shopping with local products there which good quality than in town. Most of the local products here is selling like wholesale by dozens to city shops same as of products but different prices. Lof of space to parking of your vehicle and restrooms there quite commond nothing fancy. Local drink like coffee is around there not the one that you used to drink. It is Thai style. Myself and family were ordered ice breaker with local topping. It is simply and less than a dollar per one unit. Quite a bit drive from Bangkok. One an half hours drive from city town. Good to visit. The temple separation two events for heaven and demon world for educations, how to live with life. Good point to see that though.
Good place but too many shops in the temple.

A few temples gathered together on one space; many of them devoted to celebrate the singer Pumpuang Duangjan AKA Punn. It is really incredible to see the love and respect that Thai people have for this superstar. She revolutionized the music industry by making city folk appreciate Thai Countryside / farm labor music. And she died so young; some say it was from a broken heart.
This temple is mainly have a lot of the most famous country singer Poompuang Duangchan. They just build the new zone look like a tunnel at the back of its temple. Parking are available for hundreds of car around the temple.
Bless everyone that’s reading this review. A great temple that I visited with my family during an festival. Full of food and people. Loved the atmosphere.
The first thing you notice is the effort put forth to keep the Temple cleaned and in order. Very large Wat and plenty of parking with vendors sell food drinks and other souvenirs. A must see if in the area
A little strange and different temple. Its for a singer and actress who is said are holy. Inside temple its a lot of relikvies from her signing and acting careere. In my opinion it seems a bit caotic on messy. Outside its a garden which was nice some years ago. Now it is a little worn out. If you are not Very interested in this singer, there are thousands of other more interesting temples in Thailand to see.
One of the most impressive temples in Thailand, with the srine of incredible Mae Pumpuang. Well, from Buddhist way such an approach can be considered as sin and heresy, but from the standpoint of animism and Thai culture this place is quite remarkable.
A different kind of temple experience. Dedicated to a Thai female singer who died a few years back. People go there for good luck, particularly for lottery numbers.
very clean and peaceful to visit
