Peaceful quiet park and alpine garden. There is a cool gift shop near the amphitheater. Bathroom is available in visitor center and kids playground. We really enjoy the nice stroll through the garden and it was raining for a bit so we sat by the garden bench and meditated till it stopped.

Spectacular gardens, free and open to the public, dogs allowed if on leash. We visit these gardens every year and bring a picnic lunch. There is a park next to the Gardens with picnic tables. Also, a very informative visitor center and cute gift shop in a historic school house

While I didn't come at the best time of year for blooms there were plenty to see and the colors of the trees made up for it. The variety of plants here is stunning and the information is really nice I always learn something when I come here. Mostly just being in amongst the trees and plants and the sound of running water in the various ponds and waterfalls throughout the garden are so soothing and relaxing it really is beautiful. If you have any stress or worries what a wonderful place to come and they just wash away.

One of the most peaceful and beautiful parks in the country. There was endless fun for the kids - we basically had to pull them away after many hours there. It’s a must visit for young kids in Vail.

The Garden was beautiful but the tour was not what I anticipated. I typically look for interesting information or tidbits that I could not have learned otherwise from a knowledgeable guide. The tidbits we did get were things that were not particularly interesting or helpful to except for you can snowshoe in winter.

Beautiful gardens and amazing flower varieties. It is free to enter the garden. The nearby parking lot costs $2 an hour so if you can park somewhere else try to.

Beautiful gondola ride and scenic views from the top. I am not sure if It is year round or not but they have 5 person chairs and gondola cars running on the same lift. We had beautiful weather so we rode up on the open air chairs for the best view. I recommend that... weather permitting of course.

We loved our week long stay. Our son had great ski school lessons with Sean in level 5. Truly a magical place. Exceptional skiing as well as an incredibly beautiful setting. We can’t wait to return.

We just went to see Beaver Creek Resort for the first time. We walked around the Village. Very quaint, but a little expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed the art gallery, especially the whimsical photography. My favorite was the cowboy playing golf with a putter in one hand and a rifle in the other. His caddie was a buffalo with the bag of clubs slung over its back. It started to rain, so we ducked into Citrea for brunch. What a lucky break! Again, a little expensive, but very tasty. I recommend the French toast with berries, real maple syrup, and a scoop of maple ice cream. (I did gain three pounds over the weekend.)

Beaver Creek is a really nice, fancy, and luxurious place to ski or snowboard. The resort feels upscale from the moment you arrive beautiful lodges, heated walkways, great service, and a super polished vibe. The terrain is fun and well-groomed, and the whole experience is top-notch. That said, I personally prefer Vail over Beaver Creek. Nothing compares to the back bowls in Vail they’re absolutely legendary and Vail can actually be more affordable, especially when comparing lodging and lift ticket options. Beaver Creek is still an amazing resort, perfect if you enjoy a quieter, more luxurious mountain experience. But if I had to pick one… Vail wins for me every time.

Beaver Creek Resort is truly amazing any time of year! The beauty of the area is breathtaking, and we absolutely love the charm of the town and the village. In the summer, the hiking is fantastic with scenic trails, and in the fall, the vibrant leaves are a stunning backdrop. Winter skiing here with our family is always a highlight. It’s such a family-friendly resort with something for everyone to enjoy. The Red Buffalo Express is our favorite spot to ski as a family, offering awesome and varied terrain. Plus, you can’t beat the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies they hand out daily at 3 PM—such a fun touch!

Beaver Creek is a great Ski resort with slopes for everyone and no lines as the lifts are fast, it also has an incredible village full of choices of shopping, restaurants and bars. It’s was a surprise to find lifts closing at 3pm as I’m used the 4pm close times… Beano’s Cabin is a great visit for great creative food while skiing, Chase is an awesome server and GM Ben runs a great ski restaurant. We had a great experience with the team in Beaver Creek! My family of 4 were all skiing for the first time, a friend recommended the services to us and they certainly delivered. We had a group of 18 people. The process was all super easy, you make your selections online and they come and deliver the equipment to you all while accommodating to any changes that you may need during the fitting. We had a last minute change on the pick up change and Black Tie was quick to respond and accommodate! Both the online and in person communications were great. Highly recommend their services for peace of mind and convenience!

Two years in a row Black Tie delivered and I won’t go anywhere else. The process seamless, the equipment fantastic. Although I was happy without any changes needed, I know the guys would have fixed any issue fast and efficiently. This is one of my new favorite places on the planet, especially during the height of summer. Weather is always hit or miss but getting to play in an alpine lake with both challenging and accessible hiking in the surrounding area is ideal

What a magical place! There is really something for everyone here. Fishing, water activities, hiking, trail running or just watching the sunsets/sunrises from the cabins. My families has made some of our most favorite memories here and this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. The management and staff is top notch creating this perfect, special place for everyone to enjoy. Could not recommend this more as a day trip or a longer stay!!! The cabins and tents are perfectly equipped for families with all the things you’d need. Don’t miss the spicy margs in the restaurant and all the beautiful things in the gift shop!!!

Beautiful lake with a uniquely remote canoe rental. Caught trout all day. Staff, especially the canoe girls, are funny and have a great attitude. Saw a moose and her kids from up close too. Thanks all

The road is HORRENDOUS (why they can't add roadbase to the 5 or 6 really bad parts is beyond me), but it is gorgeous when you arrive. Definitely recommend canoeing and paddle boarding.

At least 40 minute drive on a very bumpy dirt road with sharp curves and gorgeous views. I wasn't lucky enough to see any animals but was still worth it... At the Ranch there's boating hiking and you can take stunning pictures with a 360 scenic view.

One of best bike rides I've taken in years. "Real" bikers might find the all downhill nature of this trail less than challenging, and would probably be more satisfied running the trail in the opposite direction/uphill. However, more casual bikers (self included) will have a blast. What a fun way to spend a few hours in the area soaking up the amazing scenery. Make sure to stop in Frisco for a meal or snack. It's a cute, friendly and scenic town.

Amazing bike path...14 miles all down hill. The views are incredible, and the river along the bike path is also amazing. It's definitely something everyone should do at least once. Highly Recommend

What an amazing ride. It’s mostly downhill. We did about 22 miles. I forgot the name of the tour group but it’s highly recommend even if your not a cyclist. We enjoyed the trip and would do it again you really feel yournalone in the mountains.

One my all time favorite cycling experiences in Colorado. Wonderful view and scenery. The trail is in excellent shape.

This trail is absolutely breathtaking. An easy down-hill 14 mile trip with a few places to pedal through. But so gorgeous. It took us 4 hours (with stopping a lot along the way) to start at the top and ending at the local Walmart). Oh! Its also paved and very clean. A few restrooms available on the way down.

Excellent pathway. It runs through the trees and creates a better road biking experience than riding directly on the road. Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning venue! Staff is friendly. Food and alcohol selection is good. All seats including lawn are close to the stage. It's tucked in right next to a stream in the woods and it's just gorgeous. Sound is fantastic!

Cozy seasonal amphitheater tucked at the outer edge of Vail Village with fantastic sound (good reverb effects off the wood beamed ceiling of the pavilion). Easy venue to get around, friendly vending and usher staff, nothing to complain about here after seeing Colorado’s finest homegrown band of the last three decades and counting (The String Cheese Incident)

Absolutely the most beautiful outdoor music venue in the world. What a magical amazing place to spend thr evening with your favorite artists.

Really nice place for a show. Small and intimate, every seat including the lawn is a good one. The concessions are what you expect on the food side for a venue like this: dogs, burgers, popcorn etc. The bar is upscale though with mixed drinks, beer, and wine served with a bucket and glasses to take back to your seats. Great place to spend a summer evening.

Great place to gain an appreciation of how the 10th Mountain Division was formed during WW II. Also exhibits about the winter Olympics, the evolution of ski gear and technology. Good perspective with interactive exhibit and informative about Colorado ski areas. Fun gift shop as well.

A museum near Transportation Center with several artifacts, and chronological display of progressing of snow sports as well as legendary pioneers. There is also gift section inside the museum that offers souvenirs for visitors to take back home. It is free admission with suggestion of donation to help run the museum.

Stopped by before heading to the Vail Village. It was very informative and I learned quite a lot about Snowsports and its role in Colorado history. It covered everything from World War II, skiing history, snowboarding history, evolution of those sports and equipment, the Olympics, Collegiate sports, growth of ski resorts, etc . There's also a small gift shop with nice souvenirs. Nice place to stop and learn about Snowsports and its role in Colorado history.

What a delightful find! Conveniently located in the Vail Transportation Center, this compact, but world-class museum is a must stop for all lovers and visitors to Vail. Informative displays of the valley's history past and present and snowsports in general. There is even a well-stocked gift shop with many Vail themed items. Highly recommended!

The exhibits are very nice and educational. I loved seeing what skis and snowboards used to look like. It’s very small but definitely worth it.

The lines can be long and price has gone up a lot over the years but it is still fun to ride around on. Once you get to the top of the mountain there is a lot to do in the summer. I've been riding this gondola for over ten years and have never gotten stuck or had a bad experience. If you ever get bored in Vail or Lions Head it is definitely something that should be checked out.

The views at the top were spectacular. We hiked over to Vail 1 gondola. We actually went up and down a couple of times as pass allows for unlimited access all day.

Awesome ride up. A ticket is for the whole day so you can come up and down as many times as you want. The price is a little steep, but is worth it for all the beautiful hiking up in the mountain.

The best gondola option in Vail. Your ticket includes the Park Hyatt's Beaver Creek Gondola and the Eagle Bahn Gondola, and the gondola's are fairly spacious, but not that clean, and is fairly short but has a nice view of the village and the mountains. The ride is peaceful, and the view up top is one of the nicest views in Colorado.

Gondola ticket is a bit expensive, but in my opinion still worth of it. You can use same ticket for both gondolas in Vail (Eagle Bahn and Gondola One) and ticket is valid for the day. Gondola ride is nice, even though it's a bit too short just about 10-15 mins. Please notice that last gondola from up to down Lionshead Village is at 4.30pm. Would be nice, if gondola would be working a bit more later than 4.30pm.

Great for ski amd snowboard beginners, easy access!

It’s $50 per person to ride the gondola (astronomical). The worst part is that they don’t advertise their pricing so you can make a decision prior. Obviously we rode it because it was our first time in Colorado but there are multiple locations with free gondola rides. Or just going to Aspen and getting the full experience. Then at the top of the mountain they have multiple activities for children - trampoline for 3 minutes (they time you) is $18 and tubing (one ride down) is $22. We didn’t even stay to find out how much the food is. Even the employee in front of the gondola said none of the activities are worth it except hiking because it’s free. It’s a very nice view but that can be found at multiple mountains. The town vail is very quaint, not many people of color but friendly-ish people.

Love this place! From their spirits, to the service, their ambience and swag.. it's ALL GOOD. This was my 2nd time here and we stopped in before (dinner) then again after.. also enjoyed one of their cigars! Taylor was FANTASTIK💯✌🏽

We had the best experience with our bar tender and the tastings were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place for their cordial which was excellent, so I bought a bottle & my husband had to have a bottle of the bourbon.

I'm glad we made the 1000 mile trip to take the tour. Our guide was awesome and gave us so much history and a out look for the future. I'm excited to see what the next step will be. Keep doing good great things!!!

We had an awesome tasting experience here! We tried the vodka, the moonshine, the bourbon, the rye, the brandy, and the cordial. One really interesting bit was that you really could smell a hint of sage in the sweet cordial. It was a major toss up which one we liked best but we ended up leaving with a bottle each of the vodka, the brandy, the cordial, and some glasses. Our staff member Chris was super friendly and kind. Great atmosphere, fun merchandise, and awesome spirits. Keep it up guys!

We had a great experience at 10th Mountain! The Bourbon, the Rye and the Cordials are our favorite. The staff is always inviting and super friendly. We will be going back! Update: Stopped again and Andy was great, thanks for always being a great place to stop!

We were there on Friday night. 7/11. Great bar. The band was jamming and the drinks were great. Only downer was the woman bartender. Very arrogant and looked put out each time we ordered. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Mark the store Manager was extremely nice and helpful and knows what he is talking about. I was in the Army for 30 years and retired this March so I’m happy to support a Military themed/owned store and idea!! The gjrls in there were very helpful and nice. I HIGHLY recommend this store.

I hate to put a single star for this but the customer service at Camp Hale Outfitters was abysmal (clothing store, not cafe). The staff were all extremely unpleasant and not helpful at all. I'm all for cutting people slack, I know you never know what someone may be going through but this was clearly not the case. The girl at the front counter didn't even look up or greet us when we came in, when I asked where a certain product was she lazily pointed towards the back while still looking down at her phone. The girl at the back of the store (by the ski masks, etc.) was EXTREMELY rude. I politely asked her if the ski mask was one size fits all and she looked so put out and said, "I guess". When I finished my purchase I asked for the receipt and she said, "You can't return the item anyway so you won't need it" and did not even print it out or look at me. And although he wasn't directly rude, the third staff member we ran into was so blasé it definitely made me feel unwelcomed. Suffice to say I will NEVER set foot in this store again and honestly I regret giving even a single penny to this place. If anyone out there is reading this from Copper Mountain/Camp Hale Outfitters, I hope you take a harder look at who you hire to run your store.

Terrible customer service at the rental shop / store. I went to demo a snowboard because I am looking to buy a new board. I asked if the price of the demo would go towards the board I wanted to buy (THE DEMO) and they said yes! I even asked multiple times. I ended up loving the board and came back to buy the board and they said it wasn’t for sale as they weren’t selling this seasons boards. This made ZERO sense. I even specially came in asking for this board for purchase. Why have a board for demo that no one can purchase?? I had my own board with me, I didn’t need to rent, I wasn’t trying to rent, I wanted to DEMO FOR PURCHASE. Every other retail store sells this board (Christy sports, Evo, Sun and ski shop etc). When I complained no one offered an apology or a solution. The manager even gave me attitude for their incompetence. Awful place and people.

The staff here are super nice and friendly. I want to especially thank Emma for spending hours to help me get out of my stuck step-on. There are also self-served tuning booth to quickly get your board or bindings tuned up.

Horrible customer service policy. We purchased an outer shell, got it back to our condo and were unable to zip it up. Tried several times and determined the zipper was faulty. We took it back that afternoon (3 hours later) in pristine condition with all the tags on and proof or purchase in hand. But they would not refund it or even provide store credit. Everyone else we've dealt with in the village has been great. Stay away from Camp Hale Outfitters.

Buyer beware: they sold me a scratched pair of goggles that I noticed before I left the store. When I went back to ask if I could swap them for one that wasn’t scratched, they told me no, despite the fact I hadn’t even left their sight. Unfortunately the scratches are visible when I’m wearing them, so don’t shop here looking for quality unless you’re ready to inspect everything you’re buying for any defects.

Notes you may not get in other reviews: - Right off of I70, but as soon as you exit I70, you are on a rougher, winding, pothole filled road. Smaller vehicles beware! - parking lot has 30+ spaces, but it fills up early! - compost toilet at the parking lot but no other amenities. - lower portions do not have excessive elevation gain, but elevation does increase further into the hike at an accelerated pace. - almost to the top, you'll have the trail split. Go to the right to get to the 'Chimney rock' formations you see in most pictures. - fantastic views!

Beautiful drive! We stopped at the Mount of the Holy Cross Overlook/Julia's deck and hiked for a little bit past the overlook. The road was very good but the further you got the more sketchy, bumpy, and rocky it became. It was no issue for our Jeep Compass and I actually enjoyed driving through the muddy puddles since it had rained before we got there. Make sure you download your map as the cell phone signal disappears on the way and there is no phone service in Red Cliff where the pass ends.

Such a beautiful hike; probably the best hike I have ever been on. The trail was so colorful and full of life and there was not a single person in sight at the top. A fairly easy hike given the impeccable view. I recommend that everyone hikes this!

Farmers market at Vail Village was fantastic! There is something for everyone- vendors selling all kinds of products: art, jewelry, produce, wine, food, bakery, clothing, honey, candles, etc. So much to see. The landscape is perfect with a stream running through the village & the mountains all around. The grounds are immaculate. Lots of families walking around. Totally worth checking it out!

Great farmers market with a large variety of vendors from crafts and jewelry to sweets, produce, and meats. Not inexpensive but you can find a bargain depending on what you are looking for.

One of the best farmers markets in Colorado. There’s such a wide variety of vendors that can be found here from journals with leather covers to fresh produce and meats. One of my favorite vendors is Vail Meat Co, which is a family-run meat company. They simply have the best beef products that I’ve tasted. The produce vendors always have a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. There is ample free parking within a short distance of the market. I recommend arriving close to the opening hour in order to have the best selection of items without having to wait in too long of lines - Vail Meat’s line gets long very quickly.

Best farmers market in all of Colorado. Yes things are expensive, very expensive but thats as to be expected! Great for regualt shopping too! Everyone is friendly and well dressed. Made my Colorado trip. Dog friendly!

This place is HUGE and probably the place to visit while you’re in Vail during the summer time. The farmers market took up the entire plaza and there were so many vendors. If you’re one to like good chocolate you need to stop at the Bolea stand. After you eat, it connects to trails that you can walk you food off at. I wasn’t feeling well so I didn’t go on a hike with my friends which meant I didn’t have the car but there’s a shuttle service that took us from our Airbnb to the farmers market.

For some, a saloon might conjure up some images of the old west. There are some characteristics to the theme, but this place is top shelf. Food, drinks, service. Can't say enough about the fine service from all the staff members who took care of us. The GM was a great guy. Took time to talk with us a bit, make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. All in all this place gets a full 5 stars from me. Highly recommend a stop in if your out in the Colorado mountain town of Minturn!

Great people with a huge selection of drinks and interestingly good Mexican type food

Kasey and her team truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From our very first meeting through the wedding day itself, their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the way it was served in small batches—it never felt like a typical buffet, and everything stayed fresh and inviting. The butternut squash lasagna ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night, even among the most devoted meat lovers in our group! The drinks were fantastic, and the staff brought such great energy and friendliness that they helped keep the celebration fun all night long. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of The Saloon for our reception and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning an event.

We rented out the Minturn Saloon for a private event, and the vibe was PERFECT. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. The restaurant is right on the river and has been recently re-modeled with a super cool rustic vibe and great cowboy and western decor on the walls. We HIGHLY recommend eating and celebrating here! Creative take on Mexican food. Outstanding flavor combinations (Bison enchiladas, street corn dip among them). Amazing history and a true Who’s Who of fans for almost 100 years. Prices high for Mexican, but reasonable for Vail area.

Recent remodel looks great and the service was so friendly. I tried the elote dip, blue corn bison enchiladas and the brownie. First time trying bison and I will eat again. Mmmmmmmmm!
