This is one of my favorite trails 32.5 miles long of well maintained limestone.
This seems to be primarily a bike trail, but we enjoyed a nice walk here. The trail is flat and easy to walk on and a lovely spot to see some fall leaves without the crowds of other locations. There weren't any paper maps available, which, I suppose is fine because it's a straight path. There is a port a potty available but bring hand sanitizer as there's no hand wash station. I also don't recall seeing any available potable water, so bring your own!
Nice shaded, easy trail. Did you have to remove the covered bridge? If yes you did, could you have put up one that was a replica?
A scenic trail with a flat wide path with canopy of trees on either side, criss crossing the Black River in parts. Very comfortable for walking, running, and superb for cycling. The onset of fall colors makes it more beautiful. An easy trail with no noteworthy elevation. Some highway noise is there in parts, even as there are quiet, serene parts. A 4.5 mile round trip to 70th Street crossing on the trail and back.
This was a nice trail. You do have to walk about half a mile to get away from the highway and interstate. After that you're in a very nice natural setting.
My husband and I recently biked the Kal-Haven Trail. We had spectacular weather, clear skies, some fall color here and there and it was a fantastic experience (October 8th+). The Kal-Haven Trail was closed for a couple of years while they restored and re-surfaced so there weren’t many recent reviews so we didn’t really know what to expect. What we got was one of the best rides we’ve experienced and we’ve bike-toured from San Francisco to Los Angeles along highway 1 among other great locales. We started on the Kalamazoo end and kicked it off with a big meal at Latitude 42 Degrees Brewery which was close to the trailhead. For two peeps who are not currently conditioned for super long strenuous rides, the trail is a doable 33.5 miles each way. The surface was mostly packed flat dirt and crushed gravel. For sure, there were some slight inclines and thankfully we were with the wind on the way back. Definitely check wind speeds before your ride. We both have steel cyclocross bikes (Bianchi Volpe for me and a Surly Cross-check for him) and packed lightly since we weren’t camping. This made the ride comfortable and pretty easy. We had what we needed in panniers. Perfect for two nights in a motel in South Haven. Along the trail there were plenty of pit toilets, benches, picnic tables and all the little towns (few and far between) had little signs pointing to where you could go for cold drinks, sandwiches, etc. We loved stopping at some quiet picnic tables along the route. The most magical was in the middle of cornfields with two potted mint plants from which you could pick and add to your freshly drawn water from the pump. Nothing here but wind and us and our bikes. So nice. The trail was very sparsely populated on our westward journey which was a Wednesday with many more people on our return on a Friday - but still pretty sparse. I would imagine it’s much more populated on a weekend. Staying in town in South Haven would have been ideal, but even in the off-season it was pricey for our budget so we stayed at the Sun N Sand Resort which was an 8-10 minute ride to town. Doesn’t sound like much until you arrive close to dark and realize you can't ride to town first for provisions. We panicked a little, but the front desk had some cold alcoholic beverages we could buy and we were able to order a pizza from town delivered to our room. The shower was hot, the room was clean and bright, the beds comfortable and the grounds were lovely. We got a double room and were able to fit the two bikes inside, but could easily have used a cable lock to lock them to the railing outside the room without worrying about getting them stolen. A swing by the pond to watch the sunset and a walking path through the woods was really great. Riding to town was a cinch once we discovered the water route and it was fun to look at all the amazing lakefront summer homes along the way. Great big lunch at Clementines and the town was super sweet to walk around, I had a great ice cream at Kilwin’s and picked up a dark chocolate giant peanut butter cup for the ride back the next day. We also had a great visit at the Michigan Maritime Museum (totally worth the visit). From there we biked three minutes to the north beach and rode to the end of the pier. We picked up burritos and chips at Los Ranchos on our way back to the resort and heated them up later in the room (microwave and refrigerator!) for dinner. On the way out of town we stopped at Six Chicks Scratch Kitchen which had the one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I had the farmer’s hash and we split a cinnamon roll which was also fantastic. Service may be slow so keep that in mind if you need to get on the trail. I would highly, highly recommend this ride! Overall because we stopped a lot and just enjoyed the scenery it took us about five hours each way. I’m sure if you wanted to you could do it in 3-4 hours, but we were in it for the leisure and scenery. It was really wonderful to take it slow. BTW - if you’re looking for the covered bridge, sadly it was taken down.
Absolutely beautiful, this was the second time walking Kal-Haven trail with my cousin. The scenery was breathtaking.
A very nice wide gravel trail that you can take for as long as you like. It's scenic along the river. Likely great for biking. One disappointment is that the covered bridge was demolished in summer 2023. In It's place is a nice new steel bridge, but the charm is long gone.

I visited the Michigan Maritime Museum this past Friday, and it was such a cool experience. Right from the start, the museum had a welcoming vibe — the staff were super friendly, easy to talk to, and seemed genuinely excited to have visitors. They made the whole place feel more relaxed and fun. One of my favorite parts was the game area. It’s not every day you go to a museum and actually get to play around and interact with things, so that definitely stood out. The museum also has a bunch of real historical pieces that give you a deeper appreciation for Michigan’s maritime history. It’s not just displays behind glass — you actually get to push buttons, try activities, and explore in a hands-on way. The interactive buttons scattered throughout the exhibits were awesome. It kept things interesting and helped explain the history in a way that didn’t feel boring or overwhelming. We had a group of teens (ages 14–17), and everyone found something to enjoy. Some were into the historical ships, others liked the tech and games — there’s honestly something for every type of person, no matter your age. The museum is also easy to find and navigate. It’s not huge, so it doesn’t feel like a marathon to get through, but there’s still a lot packed into the space. Whether you're into history or just looking for something different to do with friends or family, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. Overall, the Michigan Maritime Museum is a fun and engaging place that mixes history with hands-on learning. It’s perfect for anyone looking to learn a little and have a good time doing it.
A very interesting museum focused around steamship travel in the Great Lakes. The Lindy Lou was a very calming boat ride through the beautiful local area, not necessarily a guided tour, but the ship's captain was more than happy to answer all of my questions! A beautiful area! Would highly recommend!
This was certainly an unexpected highlight of our trip. We ended up spending so much time there that we skipped the bear ranch. Bring your swimsuit if weather permits as the also have a great beach front.
This was the best darn time with my 9 year old son! Captain Bob and crew made it so educational and realistic to the history. We learned a lot. My son became an apprentice crew hand and even got to steer the ship. I can't recommend this enough. Next time, I will get some motion sickness meds beforehand. Highy recommend!
Great exhibits and gift shop. Sad the water made it so we couldn't do the Lake trip. Took a river cruise. Relaxing, calm water, rain happened AFTER our trip (phew)!
We booked a 45 min ride on Merry Time. Captain Kirk was awesome. The museum was a nice bonus. Well worth it.
We took the sailing ship tour with our grandkids and had a wonderful trip, and the museum was very nice too
We had a fantastic time on the day sail. The ship is beautiful, and it was awesome to see the bow rise and fall so dramatically into the waves. The crew was incredible! They know how to pilot the ship with confidence and ease. They engage with the passengers, and are eager to explain the workings of the ship, and its history. They all obviously love their work, and had the visitors laughing throughout the entire voyage. The introduction really prepared us for what we experienced. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Kevin

Our first trip to Van Buren SP campground. Everything about this SP was outstanding. The sites are very generous in size, the facilities are brand new, and the beach is an easy ten minute walk. The trail into South Haven is freshly blacktopped and a pretty ride.
Beautiful little area off the lake with plenty of short hike trails leading to the beach. It was raining off and on during my visit but a beautiful view anyway! Definitely hope to go back and spend some more time hiking and hanging out on the beach. (There are some beautiful rocks for anyone who collects. The sand embeds some glass looking pieces that makes some of the sedimentary rocks looks metallic. Stunning what nature can do!) Only took a star off because it was hard to navigate and find the trail heads. Could use some more signs.
Beautiful beach along Lake Michigan with colorful rocks in the water and along the shoreline. Sandy beach with trees that provide shade in the morning/early afternoon. Great campground with 220 sites.
We always go for the beach. Easy parking, nice paved way to beach, not a hundred yards of sand to get to the water , bathrooms are clean, I would suggest water Shoes for people with sensitive feet first couple yards in water are a little rocky after that sandy in water. Nice park area for picnics
Great park for camping. Day use area nice. Lake is REALLY rocky, water shoes recommended. Can't go wrong with Lake Michigan beaches.
Great place to see the dunes and enjoy this side of Lake Michigan unless a storm rolls through and the rangers kick you off the beach 😂 I had tagged this photo at Warren Dunes but I think it was actually this State Park after looking over itineraries etc. Spent some time here during a storm and then headed over to South Haven. An excellent afternoon
It's beautiful here. And dogs are allowed on a certain part of the beach and the trails on a leash, which was great for us because we take our dog everywhere!
So many rocks!! I love this beach but you definitely need water shoes of some sort. The rocks are hard to walk on and hurt my feet. My family had no problem with walking into the water but I struggled... had to snag my son's crocs to walk into the water.

10/10 would recommend. Wayyy better than most beaches south of here. Better people if you know what I mean 😉. The beach is mostly flat so it’s an easier walk to the water than most places, there is even a small walkway to get you closer if you have a hard time walking in the sand. Perfect for seniors, people with small kids, or anyone with a disability.
Beautiful beach in a beautiful town. Friday was my first time at the North Beach and me and my granddaughter had a wonderful time. The water was cool which is to be expected for Lake Michigan in May, but it felt pretty good after playing in the hot sun for awhile. The sand and water was clean and the light color sand is nice because it doesn't get too hot like others. The bathroom was clean. I didn't stay for a sunset but I know from staying at the south beach you can see a beautiful sunset from this beach. My granddaughter enjoyed playing on the playground. The concession stand sadly wasn't open yet so we didn't get to try that. Only thing missing was changing rooms.
North Beach in South Haven, MI is a beautiful, laid-back gem on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Known for its wide sandy beach, gentle waves, and easygoing vibe, it’s a favorite for families and locals alike. The beach offers great views of the historic South Haven Lighthouse and the nearby pier, especially at sunset when the sky lights up with vibrant colors. There’s a peaceful charm here — a little quieter than South Beach, but just as scenic and relaxing. Amenities like clean restrooms, food stands, and a boardwalk make it convenient, while the shallow water near shore makes it perfect for swimming and wading. Parking is close and accessible, and it’s a short walk to the sand. Whether you’re looking to swim, sunbathe, take a stroll, or just listen to the waves, North Beach delivers a classic Lake Michigan experience full of charm and serenity.
Had an absolute blast at north beach south haven yesterday, the sun was out, water was cool, and the sand was relaxing. Love this place
My two younger kids and my husband and I went last weekend- even though the water was unseasonably cold, we still got in the water and had a blast! We made sand castles, dug holes and tried to burry my son in the sand like u see on tv lol…. We played on the playground equipment, walked the Peir and finished our day/ evening off with a bite to eat and the delicious ice cream at the little stand that had been there since I was a child! Wonderful memories, and I had a blast making new memories!!!! Parking was a bit tricky because it is always so crowded- but after circling 2X we found a great space right at the sand/ beach! Parking was $10 for the day, I’m happy to pay $10 to have a great close space…. I really can not say anything bad about N Beach, S Haven ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
North beach is just an enthusiastic beach to spend time , see beautiful sunset and spend lovely moments with your beloved ones. 💛
A beautiful beach with lots of room. My wife and I visited this beach 3 days in a row!

In every State there has to be a pioneer and Mcintosh Cellars was 1 of the 1st in Michigan. When Michigan only had a handful of Cidery‘s McIntosh was in that hand. I have enjoyed stopping here for the past 10 years every time im traveling through the area. It saddens me to find that Macintosh is for sale but I hope and i like to think that somebody someday somewhere will keep on the tradition of being on the property of a pioneer and continue to make great hard cedars. The original cider and the pear cider is absolutely wonderful and refreshing. The original is not too sweet and it’s not too dry. The pear is fresh pure and soft on the palate. Cheers! Very cute tasting room and store out in the country surrounded by apple orchards. The dry ciders were delicious. Our server was a little less than smiley and happy to see us, but we had a good time anyway. Worth it for the ciders alone.
I stopped here because the winery is of the same name as me. Though I wasn't crazy about all their fruit wines, I enjoyed their ciders very much. It's not too far off the beaten path, so if you have time to kill it is an excellent pit stop.
Pleasant surprise! Cute winery with covered outdoor/indoor seating. Tasting of 5 ciders/wines for $6. Shop for little local candles, glasses, honey, cheese, etc while you wait on your flight. FYI they are open until 5pm, not 4pm as Google states.
Great place, tasted and bought some cider, also fantastic apple cider donughts!!
Cute place & nice scenery. There were 5 of us who did the wine tasting & out of the 25 tastings we had I think we only liked 2 total. Very disappointing. We brought some under 21, as they had been to wineries with us in the past & had juice; however, they did not have juice for those under 21. If you're looking for wine tasting, I would try a different winery
The ciders are really good, cold, and refreshing. The fruit wines are hit or miss with flavor and I was slightly disappointed with the iced cider. It's not as heavy as iced wine which is nice but I was hoping it would be as refreshing. Also, the pours were not the same for each tasting, which is $7 for 5 choices plus $1.75 for the iced cider. They also serve meats and cheeses and some panini's. I didn't try them but they sounded good. They have a really cute shop with the typical wine accessories and some great smelling soy candles which I did get.
This place was awesome! The staff was so friendly, great laid back atmosphere, and the wine was phenomenal. The fruit wines were so different than any other winery I have tried. You truly tasted the fruit flavor. I will absolutely be back, and with friends!

Very cool park. Love that they keep the wood style but with no maintenance composite! So many playgrounds are doing away with the wood and making them less fun, so happy they built this! Would love to see more playgrounds like this! Tot and big kid area. Classic metal slide is still there and was a fave too.
A great place for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elem kids. Seems to be THE local, safe and fun place for grandparents to hang out with grandkids.
Very nice Park seems pretty new, kids enjoyed it. Block away from the lake. Parking is on the street
Amazing playground! Lots of green space to run around, super close to the beach, tons of parking, restrooms, fenced in area for the little ones, very engaging playground overall with several different types of swings (which my kids loved). Plenty of seating- there are picnic tables, a shelter and benches all around. We came in the fall- the leaves were beautiful 🍁
What a beautiful park! Our kids loved playing here for more than an hour this morning as we started our day. Plenty of room on the play structure, several sets of swings, and a big open green space. The park is tucked in a very attractive neighborhood with a view overlooking Lake Michigan. Parking here was plentiful around 9am, but was difficult to find when we returned from downtown around 1pm.
Public restroom on site. Picnic tables a plenty. A huge play area for little ones. It is also directly across the street from the blue stairs that lead right down to the beach. We came on a day trip with our 7 year old and he had a fantastic time. We stopped at Sherman's Dairy Bar on the way back home to top off a great summer beach day. Fantastic playground.
No longer the wooden pirate ship, but it's still a fantastic playground and park in a beautiful setting. Green space to run around, picnic tables, baseball area, large playground structure for ages 5-12, small fenced in area for ages 2-5, and swings. Limited street parking (when busy) and bathrooms. Fun for all ages.
Super cool and nice park right by the beach! Kids love it

Very nice people in a beautiful setting. The outdoor seating is perhaps the best I've experienced in this area. Reasonable prices for the tasting: $5 for three and $10 for six, and the bottle prices are pretty good as well. I drink only white wine and they had a broad range from a very dry to sweet, though they are mostly dry or semi-dry. I bought two bottles of their semi-dry Riesling which I thought was as good as any I've had in Michigan. I got to talk to the owner and winemaker himself, something you don't get to do at larger wineries.
Cogdal Winery offered a warm escape on a cold winter day. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a crackling fireplace, made for the perfect setting to sip and relax. While the wines weren’t my absolute favorites, I still enjoyed the tasting experience and appreciated the variety they offered. The setting itself—inviting, comfortable, and intimate—added to the overall enjoyment. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a laid-back spot to unwind, Cogdal Winery is worth a visit, especially in the colder months when a glass of wine by the fire feels just right.
We had such a fantastic experience at Cogdal Vineyards. From the moment we arrived, Ana and Monica went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful as we explored new wines, some of which we instantly fell in love with. We had the chance to enjoy both the cozy indoor space and the beautiful outdoor patio, and the atmosphere was perfect in both settings. The views from the patio overlooking the vineyard were absolutely stunning, so peaceful and picturesque. We paired our wine with the meat and cheese spread, which was the perfect touch to a relaxing afternoon. Everything was thoughtfully presented and delicious. We left with four bottles of wine and even more wonderful memories. This is a place we’ll absolutely return to and recommend to anyone looking for great wine, beautiful scenery, and genuinely lovely people.
Decided to stop in for some wine tasting. It was a nice day and had a few hours to spend. We opted for the flight of 6 of their offerings. We sat and talked and it was fairly relaxing. Good variety and we enjoyed a few. The staff was courteous and friendly. Stop in and give it a shot or taste! MVP
This place was super relaxing and had a homey feel. The workers were very hospitable. It was a perfect area for us to try the wine and eat the snacks that were comparable to the wine. We dressed up and had a great time! The wine was great and we bought a few bottles. Thanks for the great experience.
Great service and they have a beautiful environment. The patio is really tranquil. While the wine wasn’t our favorite, we still enjoyed our time at the vineyard.
We went here on our 1 year anniversary 3 years ago and it was amazing!!! Wine was delicious and the cheese platter was good . Beautiful scenery too!
Nice secluded vineyard. Tasting room was very nice and their outdoor patio was a great place to have a drink. Tastings were 5 dollars for 5 wines and glasses ranged from 4 to 10 dollars. There was also available a number of small plate appetizers.

One of our favorite u-picks in the area, and the place of our annual peach picking trip! The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. If you dont want to pick, their market is full of fresh fruits and veggies, as well as jams and other local goods. They also have a food truck on site with fresh lemonade and make fresh donuts (get the maple!), and even blushes. There is a playground for the kiddos, a play yard with bouncy houses and blow up slides. A sandbox with diggers, and pedal John Deer tractors! Also for kids, a cute petting zoo, and a kids train!
We had a really great experience here! Visited a friend out in South Haven area and this was perfect for a fall activity. Animals are fun and staff are great. Free samples of donuts and slushies. Prices quite good too!
This Orchard is very family-friendly! Food and drinks for everyone! The produce was outstanding! It is definitely worth the trip! We look forward to coming back soon!
Wonderful experience at the market. Went mid July so only one variety of peach was available. We didn’t U-Pick but bought already picked. Beautiful tasty peaches, apples, plums, and various veggies. They also have frozen buckets of pitted sour cherries and so many other products including donuts, jams, salsa, butters, etc. Good value on produce. There’s an adorable kitten roaming around the shop to pet, petting zoo, and ginormous slide. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back and recommend. Not far off the highway. Hwy 196 exit 26. Go east about 1-2 miles on left. Parking for big rigs such as RVs and campers.
Very sweet Farm store. It's a real cute place to bring the kids. I just wish they had some shade for their animals. It was close to 90° and they were in bright sunlight all afternoon. But then I'm not a farmer so I don't know if that is okay for them. Just a thought.
Love the history of this place. Love the quaint looking farm. We were super excited to take our kiddos to pick peaches, until we got there and found out they charge $3 per person just to "enter" the orchard (on top of the cost of whatever you pick). We've visited several orchards in southwest Michigan and have never seen this. Since we were here and wanted peaches, we just grabbed a bag from the farmstand and left. Peaches were good. Disappointed kiddos were not.
The kindest, local farm owners and staff. We stayed nearby and they helped us when we got a nail in our tire without question or hesitation going out of their way to get an air compressor and bring it to help. Bonus we got amazing peaches and it is such a wonderful family friendly place too!
I highly recommend this place, especially the peaches — they are really good!

My daughter and I and her two children (2 & 8) stopped in after lunch. We each tasted wines and were helped by a very knowledgeable server (I wish I remembered her name!). As we were tasting, she entertained the kids with their own “tasting” of sparkling grape juice. It was a fun experience and we both made purchases.
Jennifer was amazing! Very knowledgeable about every wine and extremely kind. Go check them out and have a taste!
Jennifer was amazing, found a flavor of wine I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did!!! The ice wine is amazing too!

Great track, lots of fun. Head down to South Haven for some night time fun and good eats. Harbour town atmosphere with huge sand beaches close by for a cold plunge to sooth your racing muscles. Don't forget to utilize Friday night additional track time.
My son had his wedding at Gingerman. It was a great venue for a wedding! We had the track open to experienced drivers and gave rides at safe speeds to friends and family! Everyone had a great time! The track staff were very friendly and super helpful! Highly recommend renting this facility for similar events.
Great experience here at an SCCA Track Night in America (credit to the South Bend Region as well)! The facilities were great, with clean restrooms, a nice meeting room, and great viewing points. This is a great track for any novice, quite fun and engaging to drive. Definitely recommend!
Awesome track! Although I wish they had an area for any outside media to access areas that onsite media can. They got me a vest and there was no point to the vest. Outside media should have a special waver, maybe a quick briefing, and allow better areas. The food is a solid 3/10. None of this has to do with how excellent the track and staff are though. They're nothing but kind.
Great race track. Only main thing I would change are the corner markers. Something easier to see. The grass was longer so the cones were hard to pick out. But other then that was a great track.
This is a nice track. Not too many places for spectators but well equipped for racers. We enjoyed it and would return
My wife and I attended to watch our son and grandson race on the 2.1 mile track. My grandson talked me into riding along on a practice run in his BMW. It was quite an experience for an old man who is not that fascinated by speed.

Such a cool place! You can see a lot of old school stuff, from buildings from the past to farm equipment. They have a miniature steam powered train you can ride. They have the best sweet corn on the cob. Tractor parades and craft/ flee market with tons of stuff. They have stuff to donfor kids and adults alike. There is camping and food. We take family every year. It's a fun unique experience! Strongly recommend!
Up and coming tractor museum. The club members have a vision and already have progress on their ultimate goal.
We went to the museum for the swap meet and to hang out with some friends. Free parking with a super cheap entry ticket ($2). Found all of the vendors incredibly fascinating. We browsed the vendor tables and spent some dollars on some awesome vintage tools and found some parts for a broken yard machine at home. We were able to arrange for a brief tour of the museum grounds, which was captivating. I go to antique tractor shows almost every weekend in the spring, summer, and fall all over Michigan, northern Indiana, and northern Ohio. I haven’t made it to this show in several years due to different circumstances. This year I was able to make it. I hate to say it, but I was pretty disappointed. The amount of golf cart traffic is not only very annoying but unsafe as well. I expect people to be cruising around on different machines and have been doing the same for years. But this was ridiculous. This seemed like more of a golf cart show than a tractor show. Not only that, but I saw multiple times were people were walking around and the people driving golf carts were annoyed that people were “in their way.” I saw golf carts whipping around people or other carts and almost hit other people. My girlfriend, that I got into the hobby, was really annoyed as well. This was her first time being there and doesn’t want to return. Before you think I’m just some old coot that doesn’t know how to watch out at a show, my son has been driving tractors pulling trailers around shows since he was 6 or 7 and I never let him behave like most of the drivers (mostly teens) that I saw. Do yourselves a favor and do what a lot of other clubs do: limit golf carts to handicapped transportation. And people that want to just cruse can do it on a garden tractor like we do. At least then it still feels like a tractor show instead of a golf cart show.
It was great it was a nice sunny day but it was still a little chilly they had a fire burning in the pit which I sat by the fire and watch the parade of antique tractors which was really cool I was nice and warm I also had an ear of corn for only $2 I couldn't believe it was delicious and so inexpensive I had a great time I would definitely recommend it for people the steam engines were really cool and steam engine tractors
Not what we expected. Very few tractors at the tractor show portion, the "museum " displays had sat outside for so long they were rusting into the ground. Made us pay for out cart but then we find out you can't use it from 10-2 in the flea market area. Very disappointing compared to other tractor shows. It seems like they are putting their money and effort into their mini train.
To many carts, felt like we were dodging every few minutes. Didn't make it fun. I feel carts should only be for handicap people.
Had a great time as usual.

Super fun day with our group of 11, ages 24 to 84! We did (almost) everything from the bubble station, to roping cows, to petting the goats, to picking blueberries. Abby and the store staff made us feel especially welcome!
Love this little place. Stopped during my bike ride on the Kal haven trail to check it out. Went back after and got beautiful flowers and great blueberries. Great farm activities for the little ones. Will definitely be going back!
Excellent blueberry picking with multiple varieties of blueberries. Cute bakery and shop where you can get a treat, lunch, produce or souvenirs. Lemon blueberry cookie was amazing! Many activities for kiddos. Indoor flushing bathrooms with running water is a perk near the fields! Shady picnic areas to take a break!
Loved visiting this farm for fall fun with my child! Lots of kids’ activities were available (my child’s favorites were the bounce house, sand pit, and petting zoo) and they offer a farm market with fresh produce, cider, and souvenirs. Parent favorites were the serene environment and shaded/ wooded exploration & play area. The petting zoo animals were well-socialized and seemed very happy and well cared for, with clean and comfortable enclosures. As a mom, I was so impressed by the staff’s kindness, warmth, and patience with kids. We were there late in the day not long before close, and the staff made sure my child got to take full advantage of the amenities and even let her pet a goat out of its enclosure. We couldn’t be more glad we stopped by Bumbleberry Acres. Thank you!
Lots of options for the kids with their activities. Was too late to pick blueberries, but was able to puck flowers! The kids loved it from the bubbles to the animals!! Loved each activity!
We had a great time visiting the farm! The animals were so fun to feed and interactive! They have a great selection of products made from blueberries. We ended up doing the 5 dollar fun pass! I think it’s made for kids around 3-5. The fun pass includes the homemade fairy forest , petting zoo, and bouncy houses. It could use a slight polishing, but a great little place!
Such a great value! So many activities here, the U-Pick is a great deal. The market area has a wide variety of tempting things and the shaved ice was fantastic after a hot afternoon. Even aside from that though, the people who work here are so friendly and helpful. Especially the people out facilitating the various activities. They were really great with the kids and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Love this place!
Abby and the entire staff were so helpful and kind! Abby shared about some of the changes to the pricing as the farm needs to find new ways to be profitable. My group was entirely adults - 11 of us - and to the negative reviews, I have to say you just need to embrace play! We had a great time with the play activities, from blowing bubbles to petting animals. To top it all off, the blueberries are fantastic, and the store had so many delicious treats to choose from.

First time visiting museum on 5/25/2018. Museum was observing mermaid art in support of Mermaid Fest 2018. Museum was clean and organized. Worth a visit when visiting South Haven. Thanks for reading my review!
Great place to spend 10 minutes looking at a small gallery. Donate some cash if you can for entry. They have a craft table for kids and they have some classes if you sign up ahead of time.
Went to the Center for Arts on Saturday 02/09/19 to do a review for an art assignment per Lake Michigan College. It was my day off work and the website said it would be open at 1 pm. It was not. No notification. No explanation of any kind. Later, there was a presentation by the local students that was quite interesting and enjoyable.
This place is beautiful. The art on the wall and on display are so magical. We came here when we visited South Haven, and it was lovely. They had an art project upstairs with bug stamps or insects. Buts this is a must when you visit South Haven or if you live there!
Wonderful arts center housed in a gorgeous Carnegie library from the early 1900s. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer exhibitions, classes for both children and adults, and art events throughout the year including a Mistletoe Market that offers locally made art for sale in December.
Always great art exhibits!
Exceptional, thank you! They provide the community with such a pleasant art experience without an entrance fee. I commend the management and the artists.
Relax taking in this quaint gallery. Always new exhibits often featuring the many talents of local artist from 8 to 80.

we came.......we skated.......we conquered!! A wonderful Saturday night with our family! we asked prior since driving from Chicago area if we could bring sticks and they responded back quickly and once we were there later that night the staff was incredible with our needs!! We had a great time and had all the proper surroundings for a perfect winter night!!!
The rink itself is nice, and quite enjoyable. However, there was a boy working there that was very rude. I was on the far side of the rink attempting not to fall (I can barely skate), and they needed everyone to get off of the ice. That was fine, however the boy skates around and yells for everyone to get off the ice. He doesn’t stop there. I’m hobbling along trying my best to not break my leg and he yells for me to hurry up and that we all had two minutes and should be off by now. His tone was very rude and we felt extremely rushed and taken aback. Obviously I can’t skate, give us some time please!
I love skating here it’s great I love the workers and the stuff that they provide for us. And it’s a great hangout spot that me and my friends go to skate ALL the time can’t wait to see yall soon!.
We love this rink. They have a friendly staff, nice concessions, good hours, and being so close to downtown South Haven gives it a good, unique feel. The warming hut is also nice for cold winter day... but wasn't needed today (50 degrees)!
The place itself is iffy. The skates hurt your feet quickly and the ice seems like it's never cleaned throughout the day. The location of the business though is fantastic. It's right in the downtown so you could easily walk a little and enjoy some coffee or window shopping. And it's also right next to the library!
Large covered outdoor ice rink. From 3-8pm you can bring your friends and skates!
Highly recommend coming to the ice rink! Face covering must be worn at all times and you must bring your own skates! No renting skates this year and the hours have changed 3pm-8pm everyday. But it is free! (Must have own skates, NO skate rentals)
The rink itself is a great place for family and friends to skate. However, two girls decided that they owned the place. While this might be true I doubt that ten years girls can buy themselves an ice rink. They decided choose violence today and mocked my friends and I. Because we are so mature we decided to settle these matters as adults and write a review.

First time visiting South Haven and loved every bit of it...Will come back and visit again.Loved the shops and Loved South Beach with the Marina and being able to walk on the pier..
Don’t visit the downtown area if you drive anything bigger then a car. We got a 20 fine for parking our truck in a regular parking spot. It’s a shame because the area is beautiful with nice shops to visit. But we are camping and driving a truck, I guess skip the shops and park down by the lighthouse, you have to pay to park but it is cheaper then 20 dollars
Beautiful beach and scenery!
South Haven is a wonderful beach town.
So much to see and do! The lighthouse is amazing and the beach front is beautiful. We went for mermaid fest and it was a fun experience.
Visit the website and you will fall in love the town. My wife and I have been there many times, and will keep going back. Lots to do and good stores and places to eat,
I love South Haven beach I have lived here all my life and have many photos and memories of the beach.
Very nice beach area lots of stores and dining has fantastic viewing
