At several points, you can see the walls of rock surface, which add wilder taste in background. Some of them even have small water falls. It's like exploring through a jungle. If you're lucky, you may spot a sight of Japanese macaques! Although you will see a lot of anglers on the rental boats, fishing from paddlers' own boats such as kayaks, canoes or SUPs is not allowed; you need to rent a boat to fish on the water. These rental boat places are the members of local fisheries cooperatives, and they manage the lake's environment and the facilities. So, paying for the rental boat means you're supporting the people who maintain this unique location. Lake Kameyama is famous for bass fishing and even hosts fishing tournaments.

best place for family

Pretty much the best spot around when it comes to watching the cherry blossoms bloom (late-March to early April). Great view of the city and Tateyama Bay as well (including the sunset).

Great place to get away from city traffic or hassles. Please note after car parking you need to walk like 100-150 meters uphill & then couple hundred stairs to reach at castle. Take extra caution during rainy day

It was so cute to see him preening his hair without being intimidated by passing cars (*^-^) (Original) 初めての訪問は40年も前。 それから 数年おきに訪ねてます。 県道から《三石山》の大きな看板を見て曲がると程なくして ずーっと上り坂、カーブの連続です。 一気に山を登る感じです。窓から見える景色がどんどん変わっていくのが楽しいです♪ 車道は狭めですが カーブにはミラーが付いており 少し広くなってました。 狭い所もありますが待避所が所々にあります。 駐車場は10台～25台くらい停められる所が7～8ヵ所くらいありました。 トイレも建替えてあり♿️対応もありました。 駐車場の所に出店があり美味しい大判焼きがありました♪♫他２店。 駐車場から本堂まではのんびり歩いて10分くらいでしょうか… 途中 眼下には数年前の台風で倒木した大木が沢山あり痛々しさが残ってました。 本堂までは舗装されており車椅子でも行けますが 途中に小さな段差がある事と 本堂近くはカーブありの少し強めの上り坂になっていますので ご自身だけで押して行くには負担が多く避けた方が良いかと思われます。 本堂で願かけをしたら裏側に《奥の院》がありますので忘れずに登って下さい🎵 狭い階段を数段上り狭い岩と岩の間を擦り抜ける形で進みます。 どれくらい狭いかを画像で分かりやすくするために500㍉のペットボトルを横にして写真を撮ってみました(^^)d ほぼペットボトル１本分の足元です(^^; 体がまっすぐに立てない所もあり岩に手を付きながら進む感じです。足元に太い木の根っこがありびっくり!!でした。 ほんの数分ですが なかなか出来ない体験♪♪♫ 岩のトンネル？を抜けるとまた少しだけ階段があり 階段を上りきると 形容し難い景色が広がります。 広さはホントにホント小さいです。数人しか立てません。5人立ったら立ち位置に困りそうです(^^; しかも 足元は平たくなくてデカイ岩、岩、岩です！ ヒールはキズが付くのでやめましょう(^^; 奥の院は 縁結び♡の神様のようです♪ が、縁結びに興味ない方も願かけない方にも是非とも登って 素敵な景色を見て頂きたいです♪ お正月の三ヶ日を過ぎていたせいか人もまばらで 奥の院 貸切り状態でした。 暫く景色を堪能し夕日と雲のコラボに心奪われて時間を忘れた一日でした♪♫ 帰り道 三石山から県道に出てすぐ 道路脇で野生の親子猿さん発見！ 通る車に臆する事なく毛繕いしている姿が可愛かったです(*^-^)
