This cave is amazing and huge. It'll take you 30-60 minutes to stroll through. It was quite humid so take some water. It's well lit and the path is clear. Best of all, it's only 20 Baht to enter which is crazy for what you get. There are also some food stalls and goats to feed. Highly recommended!
Even though I am not a fan of caves, I thought I would give it a try. Car park is large, asphalted, and clean. No issues finding a vacant spot to park your vehicle. Signs with red color arrows will guide you to the main entrance area to buy the cave entrance ticket at a very small fee per person (THB20 each). You also have a choice to request a guide to show around inside the cave and provide you with details. Just before entering the cave, you might encounter a photographer who will take your photo, without interrupting your journey down the cave. In short, it was very interesting, hot, and humid, despite the presence of pedestal fans here and there. The entire walk through the cave (without stopping much), takes few minutes that would not tire you at all, if you don’t mind sweating. On exit, you will be greeted by the photographer, or assistant with your photo in a nice frame, offered to you at THB100 only. Personally, it’s worth it, in terms of supporting to keep this place running.
Majestic caves with several chambers. Lots of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Very humid and damp inside so bringing a fan or a bottle if water with is a good idea. The light arrangement inside is good for photographing and not too disturbing the eyes. Friendly local guides whom you could pay for their service up to your preference. However, they might not speak English.
Ticket entrance fee cost just 20 baht. Very excellent cave. There is food and coffee around the area to buy. Has bathrooms and a well maintained area. The cave was surprisingly hotter than most I have been to in Thailand. The outside jungle feels cool compared to inside.
One of Thailand's most beautiful caves with lots of stalactites and stalagmites. The cave has a path that leads all around the cave, back to the entrance. This cave is definitely a must visit when visiting Ratchaburi. There are more nice caves nearby, but this one should definitely be on your list!
This cave is really amazing!!! Only cost 20 baht per person ( foreigner). It’s take about 30 min - 1 hour for visit & taking lots of photos. You can see amazing stalagmites all over the caves. The path is very easy and you may just follow. There are tour guide speaking Thai, not sure if they have English speaking tour guide. You may walk in your own as well, you won’t get lost, no worries. Parking is spacious and it’s free 😄😄😄I would highly recommend this place to you 👍👍👍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
This is the best cave we've been to so far. It's a huge cave system consisting of many large and small halls that are contacted by a circular walkway (walk clockwise). The cave is well lit, but bring a torch to see the further away formation. The cave was super-hot and humid when we visited (April), dress very light and bring a fresh shirt to change when you come out. Entrance is 20B (no dual pricing 😊) and worth every Satang.
Very nice cave - including people there. The cave and the way leading through it is huge, so really huge! I guess our first round through the cave took around 25 minutes - and no one was there. Went there on a Monday morning, around ten. Entrance fee is 20 baht per person (for adults) - no difference between Thai and foreigners. The cave itself is actually quite well maintained, you have a paved walkway and enough light. You should be careful though, as it is a little slippery from time to time. And be prepared to the quite humid and warm conditions down there ;-). They have a spacious parking space, toilets and shops to buy drinks or snacks (or souvenirs). We really enjoyed walking through the cave and can definitely recommend to go there.

5 Stars for the Cave. It would do everyone well to know the smell leading into the cave is really strong and m awful. From there you must combat the fear of Bats down into the cave and onward to the creepy crawly cricket m-spider looking critters crawling on your sandal clad feet. After that battle of the senses and you defeat your fears you have access to a large cavernous space with some Spiritual accompaniment!
Chomphon Cave Arboretum, 30km from Ratchaburi, is a serene gem. The cave, renamed by King Chulalongkorn in 1895, boasts stunning stalactites and stalagmites, some resembling a field marshal’s epaulette. A cool breeze and bat droppings greet you at the entrance. Inside, a Reclining Buddha and Walking Buddha shine under a skylight. The arboretum outside offers shade and diverse plants, perfect for meditation. Steep stairs may challenge some, but the natural beauty and tranquility are worth it.
A beautiful, quite large cave, with sparse electric illumination. Access is fairly easy, provided you can climb/descend stairs. Many bats close to the entrance. Monkeys can be a pest around the car park and access stairway if you have food.
Amazing! Free, exciting and adventurous. A massive amount of bats at the start but push on through and they lessen a lot. Suggest taking an offering for the statues at the end.
Lightning arrangement inside the cave is so delightful. Bat smell at the entrance. You may found a group of monkeys at the cave entrance as well. Do not try to bring the food with, if you do not want to be a monkey's target. You will see the angel ray spot at the end of the cave. This spot is very spectacular and it is a popular spot for taking photos.
The cave is breathe taking and staff friendly and the monkeys are so adorable. The cave is very warm inside so be prepared to get very hot and wet. But worth every minute. Cold water available outside by the shop for cooling down in.
Very nice place to visit. I like the adea of the divers guide (rope that hang in the roof) that shows you the way. It is really untidy. See lots of bottles and old light bulbs that was changed and just left there. It seems that people take souvenirs by braking off some of the stones. I guess for a free entry it is not bad. The Monkeys was something you have to experience. All sizes and if you are not familie with it, this is the place to go. You can go quite close.
It's a short climb to get to the mouth of the cave. After a short walk a cavity opens up within cave and there are idols of Buddha and prayers are held inside. It's very well maintained and lit with artificial lights inside. So anyone can walk-in without help of a guide. If you're around Ratchaburi do visit this place.
