Saw a couple of the comics at Christmas so some of it was a little repetitive, but both had some different material dotted throughout. We had choc fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding during our visit. Fudge cake was nice but toffee pudding wasn’t. It was over powered by the taste of ginger, and we never ended up finishing it. Drinks range nothing to write home about but they have the basics. Two negatives would be that it was absolutely freezing which made it hard to settle. And the chairs were absolutely terrible, sitting on them for three hours was horrible, and I saw others putting coats under them to try and make it a little more comfortable. Comfier seating and putting some heating on would make this a really cosy comedy night. We enjoyed ourselves though, so please build on the negatives. Not many comedy clubs in the area so it’s a huge opportunity.

A 10 min walk from my university and the Stoke-On-Trent rail station, very nice looking, spacious and secure accommodation. I love the fact that it is extremely warm as it gets very cold in the winter and you get two rooms including an en-suite, one study room with a desk and a sofa bed and fridge and the other a bedroom with more than enough closet space! I love living here as it is great value for money and personally for me as I can't stand to study in the library with all the noisy students, so having my own quiet study with a mini fridge is great as I can study in peace and in the comfort of my own surroundings. Not to mention all bills and laundry facilities are included! Definitely a 10/10 for me. The best and most affordable accommodation in stoke by far!

When I spoke up about the standards experienced, my Nan was basically punished by being removed from her ensuite room into a standard room. This confused my Nan (due to the Dementia) and she began to urinate in her bin. So again I spoke up, to which she was issued an eviction notice and my family was banned from the home for being 'aggressive' and 'abusive'. I was often told by Staff that my Nan was "rude" (she is 84, has dementia and reduced capacity). I wasn't informed that my Nan was poorly and on antibiotics for a chest infection, then I saw her outside without a coat on in December whilst ill!
