We were staying in the Crow Nest room as it was the best room to accommodate a family of four and it was fabulous! We really enjoyed everything, the food the drinks the room. To be noted we did a three weeks trip in the UK and stayed in many places, but this hotel (in fact it not a hotel it is a real Inn), dating back from 15th century is the only one my family remembers and will continue discussing for the next few years I am sure. The staff was also great very friendly & helpful. The Mermaid Inn is also dog friendly (for some rooms I believe) which is great so we could have our Teddy with us. This Inn comes highly recommended from us, we will definitely stay in the Mermaid Inn the next time we are in the South of England.
