We booked online for the deluxe screening for 2 adults & 1 child + a medium share combo, which actually wasn't too badly priced (£41.50) which is why i gave an extra star. Upon arrival we added an extra medium popcorn, and Nacho's, which we tried to pay with cash only to be told they don't accept cash, this really annoyed us as I think everywhere should accept cash. I can only imagine how much of an inconvenience this is if you're letting your child go to the cinema with friends by themselves, if they don't have a card. Especially when not every product they sell is available to pre-order such as individual popcorn etc. The large popcorn included with the medium share combo was 'salted' and the medium was 'sweet', well they were supposed to be at least, but both popcorn were the most bland we've ever tasted. My wife hates sweets popcorn & got a stray one midway through her popcorn, and normally it would make her spit it out as she hates sweat popcorn, but she was able to just swallow it. As an adult going to see a kids movie with our child, a highlight of the experience would be popcorn etc, but this was a complete let down. The Nacho's were good though. When we entered the screening we went to our pre-booked seats, and were greeted with a very sticky floor. Also rubbish on the floor, and in many of the cupholders. There was also so much caked in dust on top of the speakers, which obviously hadn't been cleaned in probably well over a year. And the reclining seats once reclined, are lowered So you have a part of the seat Infront of you blocking part of the bottom of the screen, I'm sure it's even worse for children. So not a very 'deluxe' experience, which is disappointing. So after our visit we won't be using this cinema again, we will go further to get a better experience for our money. The fact they don't take cash makes that decision a lot easier too.
