We were there for 7 days and I wanted to provide our feedback. Pros: The location was perfect. The hot tub on the deck was one of our highlights. Even though they come in daily to check the hot tubs, they did their thing and were in and out. The hot tub was very clean. The indoor pool in the D tower was very nice. The water was warm and it was very clean. We did not use many of the other amenities due to the weather. Being in the D tower we only heard minimal noise from the construction. The room layout and space was absolutely perfect. The view was amazing. Cons: The unit could have some updates. The furniture is very worn, the pillows outside on the outdoor furniture had a lot of mildew and could use replaced as they stink. There are parts where the cupboard is falling apart on the bottom. The towel rack was broken and came down on one of the adults. When arriving we noticed that the drawer on the stove had not been cleaned and was full of crumbs. On one for the beds, there were crusty things on it and appeared to not have been freshly cleaned. It states that the kitchen is fully stocked. We had 3 steak knives and one large knife. There were only a couple of serving spoons and only a couple of small mixing bowls. It for sure could have had more especially since we are only a family of 5. It was challenging to cook and I had to use pots to store things as that was the only thing big enough. The microwave was so hard to open and we had to use a butter knife to push the button hard enough to make it work. The day we checked in we completed the form on the app as instructed and let them know of the issues but it was something we did not need addressed right away. On 12/28, our dryer stopped working. I filed the ticket on the app as instructed to do. It was 1pm that it was submitted. I did let them know we needed this fixed asap as we have wet clothes. I did not hear anything. I called them on 12/29 at 9:45 am and asked when this would be addressed. The lady I spoke with said that everyone is in a meeting right now and she will pass the information on asap. We left for the day and returned about 9pm. I thought maybe they fixed it. They did not. There was absolutely no communication from spectrum via email, phone, text or even a note in the room. No one came to even check it out even after having a direct conversation with staff. That evening I called them again. I spoke with Yolanda who was trying to look and see why no one came down. She could not get answers but did confirm that NO ONE even came to look at it. She said that she would have someone call me on 12/30 since it was late when I talked with her. It is 12/31, I have not gotten ANY form of communication from anyone from Spectrum. What makes me the most frustrated is there is absolutely no communication. We ended up having to wear dirty clothes and also take wet clothing home with us. We will never rent directly with Spectrum again and will go through Vrbo or something similar. There were absolutely no perks of going through them and we ended up paying more to book with them. This was by far not worth the money that we spent to stay there.
