The property is clean and beautiful. The restaurant service specifically the bar was perfect. Super nice super helpful. I wasn’t thrilled with the front desk service or housekeeping. Our down comforter was folded between two sheets which made for a nightmare for the tossing and turning game through the night. I also believe our housekeeper had a strange sense of humor, I was sprayed twice first thing in the morning with a shower head conveniently directed at the shower door. To be honest it set my vibe every time I walked back into my room. I’ve also never stayed at a hotel where the housekeeping touches and rearranges your personal items when doing a stay over service. I’ve worked housekeeping before for Hampton, we were always told never never touch guests personal belongings. Coming back into my room with my clothes folded, charge cables organized, even my tooth brush was arranged on a hand towel…. Made me feel invaded. Half of our pillow cases had to be re done due to being inside out. I didn’t make an actual complaint because we weren’t even asked how our stay was when checking out. I wish there had been late night snack options like a vending machine (unless my wandering missed the vending). Our stay was great except the housekeeping side, I enjoyed how close the location was to so much. If I were to go again I’d ask for no stay over service, I’ve never experienced housekeeping completely re organizing my things and that really really really bothered me after the shower head incidents.

I would have put 5 stars but we arrived around 11am and didn’t leave till almost 1pm. A long wait. COVID issue has a lot of places working with a skeleton crew and everyone customers as well as employees are suffering. To end on a positive note we where a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed the food. So come hungry but also ready to wait a few minutes if you are a large group.
