We had originally booked the main hotel but were moved to the townhouse. Which was nice in theory but it's about a 10-minute walk from the main hotel and no luggage service was offered to us. I was traveling with my 65+ year-old parents and some sort of shuttle or luggage service would have been nice. As others have mentioned about the townhouses, you are given a giant key to get into the main door, whereas the individual rooms have a standard hotel key. The key to the front door is quite large and not really convenient to carry around. Also half the time when we would get back the front door wasn't even locked which made the key pointless. Additionally, two of the three nights when we were there, the cleaning people had left the fire escape door wide open. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower amenities as expected. The fireplace in the rooms was a nice touch. Some of the amenities were hidden so unless you opened every cabinet/drawer you might not have known what was available such as the coffee pods for the Nespresso. I appreciated the high-tech amenities, however, for my older parents it was a bit confusing. A welcome letter was received explaining some but not all of the amenities. In the future, it would be beneficial to have instructional cards in the room that explain the different features and how to use them for those that might be less tech savvy. Daily housekeeping appeared to be the bare minimum. New towels were provided and the bed was made but the mini bar was not restocked nor was the complimentary in room water. Overall a nice hotel but some additional work is needed to bring the service up to par.
