The Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad is a treasure trove of art and artifacts collected by the Salar Jung family from around the world. It houses an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artifacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture from various civilizations. The museum offers visitors a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage and history of different regions through its diverse exhibits.
A museum beyond imagination. So many varieties of displays and very well maintained. It has more than 40 galleries and takes around 3-4 hours if one visits all the galleries and devotes reasonable time. I liked the glassware galleries most. Though there are restaurants inside the main building, they offer limited variety of food. So one should plan the visit keeping in view his/ her lunch timings. There are one or two restaurants on the backside of the premises of the museum as well. A must visit place in Hyderabad.

The Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad is one of India’s most remarkable cultural treasures — a vast repository of art, history, and heritage collected from across the world. Situated on the banks of the Musi River near Charminar, it stands as one of the largest one-man collections globally, amassed by Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, popularly known as Salar Jung III. The museum houses over a million artifacts spanning centuries and continents — from intricately carved ivory pieces, Persian carpets, and Mughal miniatures to European paintings, Japanese porcelains, and ancient sculptures. Every gallery feels like stepping into a different era and culture. The collection is so extensive that even a full day isn’t enough to explore it completely. Among the highlights are The Veiled Rebecca, an exquisite marble sculpture by Italian artist Giovanni Maria Benzoni, and the famous Musical Clock, whose miniature mechanical figures delight visitors every hour. The arms and weapons gallery, adorned with ornate swords and daggers from various dynasties, also captures the imagination of history enthusiasts. What makes the Salar Jung Museum truly fascinating is the diversity of its exhibits — it isn’t just an Indian museum but a global one. From Egyptian artifacts to European furniture and Chinese ceramics, it reflects the Nawab’s refined taste and curiosity about the world. The museum is well-organized, though its size can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors. The staff and signage make navigation easy, and photography is permitted in most areas. The museum café and souvenir shop offer nice breaks between long explorations. Overall, Salar Jung Museum is a must-visit for anyone in Hyderabad — not just for its grandeur, but for the incredible stories each artifact holds. It’s a place where art, history, and culture meet, offering a timeless journey through civilizations under one roof.

This Museum is worth visiting. They have collection of paintings, ivories, War-field armories, diverse cultural exhibition. It’s very big and it shares knowledge about the history. The highlight of this museum is Clock which was manufactured in 19th century still functions great and the dynamics is really amazing. Ivory collection is just wow, the designs and craftsmanship of this is really astonishing. The marble statue is awesome.
Siddharth D — Google review
My visit to Salar Jung Museum was an amazing and enriching experience. This museum is truly one of the finest in India, with an incredible collection that reflects art, culture, and history from all around the world. From ancient sculptures and royal artifacts to European paintings, Persian carpets, rare clocks, and beautiful handcrafted items, every gallery has something unique and fascinating to offer. The famous Veiled Rebecca and the double-headed statue are absolute highlights and must-see masterpieces. The clock gallery is also very popular, especially during the hourly chime when visitors gather to watch the antique clock in action. The museum is huge, and it’s easy to spend several hours exploring without even realizing how time passes. The management has maintained the museum very well—clean surroundings, organized galleries, and clear signboards make it easy to navigate. The staff is polite, helpful, and ensures that visitors have a smooth experience. I also appreciate the security and the effort put into preserving such valuable collections. It can get crowded on weekends, so visiting on a weekday is ideal if you want a quieter experience. Overall, Salar Jung Museum is a must-visit place in Hyderabad for history lovers, students, art enthusiasts, and tourists. A truly enriching and memorable visit!

Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad – A Priceless Treasure of Art, History, and Knowledge 🏛️ I recently visited the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad, and it was truly an amazing and enriching experience! Stepping inside feels like traveling through time — every corner reflects the glory of art, culture, and history. The Salar Jung Museum is one of the largest national museums in India and among the biggest in Asia. It was established based on the priceless personal collection of Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III, who devoted his entire life to gathering rare artworks, antiques, weapons, furniture, clocks, paintings, and sculptures from across the world — including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and India. His vast private collection was later preserved by the Government of India, and the museum was officially opened to the public on December 16, 1951. Walking through the museum, one can witness a breathtaking blend of history and creativity. The famous Veiled Rebecca marble sculpture, the fascinating clock gallery, the impressive arms and armor collection, rare manuscripts, and exquisite wooden furniture are among the many highlights. Each gallery tells its own unique story and offers something new to learn. The entire complex is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The information boards and guides make the experience even more meaningful by helping visitors understand the history behind every artifact. Overall, the Salar Jung Museum is not just a collection of objects — it’s a living treasure of art, culture, and knowledge. Anyone visiting Hyderabad should definitely explore this magnificent museum — it enriches both the eyes and the soul. 🎨✨

Salar Jung Museum is an incredible place for history, culture, and art lovers. The collection is huge — from sculptures, paintings, clocks, weapons, textiles, rare artifacts to the famous Veiled Rebecca statue and the Musical Clock. Very well curated and well-preserved. Plan at least 3–4 hours to explore properly. Truly a gem of Hyderabad!
Kritika S — Google review
What an absolutely massive place! I visited on a Sunday, and while it was definitely buzzing with people, the Salar Jung Museum is just unmissable. Seriously, the collection is mind-blowing—it feels like stepping into a time machine. The absolute star of the show for me was the Musical Clock! Make sure you catch its performance; it’s so much fun to watch. And that incredible Veiled Rebecca sculpture is breathtaking in person. Just wear comfy shoes and be prepared to get lost in all the history for a few hours. Highly recommend!
Mayur G — Google review
Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad is an extraordinary destination for art and history enthusiasts. It houses one of the largest one-man collections in the world, featuring a diverse range of artifacts including sculptures, paintings, textiles, ceramics, weapons, and rare manuscripts from different parts of the globe. Each section reflects meticulous curation and provides visitors with a glimpse into the cultural and artistic heritage of various eras. The museum’s layout is generally well-structured, allowing a smooth flow from one gallery to another, and the exhibits are thoughtfully displayed to highlight their historical significance. The staff are friendly, approachable, and ready to provide information, enhancing the overall experience. Despite these positives, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some galleries tend to get overcrowded, especially during weekends and holidays, making it challenging to view the exhibits comfortably. Signage and information boards could be more detailed and easier to read. Additionally, a few sections require better lighting to fully appreciate the intricacies of certain artifacts. Overall, Salar Jung Museum is a remarkable place to spend a day immersed in art, history, and culture. With a few minor improvements, it could easily achieve a perfect rating. It is highly recommended for both locals and tourists

Golconda Fort, once the capital of a flourishing kingdom from the 14th to 16th century, boasts 87 semi-circular bastions. While Hyderabad is known for iconic attractions like Charminar and Chowmahalla and Falaknuma Palaces, there are also hidden gems to explore. The city offers diverse experiences beyond its famous museums and delicious Hyderabadi biryani.
The fort is marvelous, though effect of time is clearly visible. You should try to visit this fort early in the morning, preferably in pleasant season. The fort gives a great view of the Hyderabad city and nearby landscape is beautiful especially in monsoons. Tickets are available at main entrance and guide service is available at a cost of Rs. 1,000. In order to understand the history, importance and architecture of the fort, it is advisable to hire a guide. The tour of the fort takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Anil B — Google review
I visited Golconda Fort , and it was a really good experience! It’s definitely one of the best historical places to visit in Hyderabad. The entry ticket costs just ₹25 per person, and there was no waiting time at all, which was great. The fort is huge, and as you climb up, you’ll come across Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas — both are beautiful spots that give you a glimpse into the royal architecture of the past. There’s also a small temple inside the fort, which adds a peaceful touch amidst the grand structure , there are some old canon as well there. You’re allowed to carry snacks inside, but not full food items. The climb to the top is a bit tiring, but totally worth it. Once you reach the top, the view is absolutely amazing — you can see a wide stretch of Hyderabad city from there. It’s truly breathtaking and perfect for photos! I also heard that there’s a secret tunnel or cave that connects Golconda Fort to Charminar, but I couldn’t find where it is. Maybe it’s hidden or closed off now, but it’s quite fascinating to think about how they built such things back then. Overall, it’s a really good place to visit if you’re in Hyderabad — a mix of history, architecture, and great views!

Absolutely amazing historical site! Golconda Fort is a must-visit for anyone in Hyderabad. The architecture is stunning and the fort's acoustic system is truly remarkable - you can hear sounds from one end to the other. The sunset views from the top are breathtaking. In the top one Hindu temple is also there. The light and sound show in the evening brings the fort's rich history to life. For that you have to buy separate ticket. It cost more. Well-maintained and full of fascinating stories from the past. Highly recommend visiting early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat. Well maintained. A perfect blend of history, architecture, and panoramic views!
Nagendra H — Google review
Golconda Fort is one of the most fascinating historical sites I’ve ever visited! Located just outside Hyderabad, this majestic fort stands as a proud reminder of the region’s rich past. From the moment you step in, you’re surrounded by centuries of history, incredible architecture, and breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The fort is massive, so it’s best to wear comfortable shoes and carry some water. As you climb to the top, you’ll find ancient gateways, royal chambers, secret passages, and beautifully carved stonework. The acoustic system of the fort is particularly amazing — you can clap at the entrance and hear the sound echo at the top of the fort, which shows the brilliant engineering of those times. The evening light and sound show is absolutely worth attending. It narrates the history of Golconda in a very engaging way, with lights dancing on the walls of the fort and a powerful voiceover that makes the story come alive. Try to reach early so you can explore before sunset and then enjoy the show afterward. Overall, Golconda Fort is a must-visit for history lovers, photographers, and anyone visiting Hyderabad. It’s clean, well-maintained, and truly awe-inspiring. Pro tip: Please make sure to book your tickets in advance — especially on weekends or holidays — as there can be quite a bit of rush at times. It’ll save you time and make your visit smoother.
SHAHANAS S — Google review
Golconda Fort is highly praised as a must-visit historical site in Hyderabad, notable for its impressive architecture, rich history, and panoramic city views. Visitors often highlight the fascinating history, impressive craftsmanship, and the spectacular evening light and sound show. However, be prepared for a lot of walking, and some reviews note that it can be a spooky or eerie place in certain areas. Positive aspects Historical and architectural significance: The fort is lauded for its fascinating history and impressive architecture, which many visitors find difficult to imagine being built in ancient times. Spectacular views: It offers a vantage view of the city of Hyderabad, making it a great spot for photography and sightseeing. Light and sound show: The evening light and sound show is a highly recommended experience. Potential for film shoots: Some visitors note that parts of the fort would be suitable for shooting films. Diamond trade history: Historically, the area was famous as the market city for diamond trade, a fact that has given the name "Golconda" a generic meaning associated with great wealth. Potential drawbacks and tips Requires significant walking: The fort is a very large area, and exploring it adequately can take a full day. The walk to the top is steep. Spooky atmosphere: Some areas, like a dark, alley-like area where bats were heard, are described as spooky, although this can also add to the eerie charm for some. Bring essentials: It's recommended to carry a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat or cap, and comfortable walking shoes. Check timings: The fort is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Fantastic Fort Visit! Went on a weekend and found the crowds manageable. The climb is easy, and the panoramic views from the top are incredibly photogenic. Highly recommend the hassle-free online ticket booking on the spot. If you want to dive deep into the history, a government guide is a must.
Mayur G — Google review
I got the chance to visit on a Saturday while in town for work and had a great time. The grounds are large and sprawling, and we easily spent about 2-3 hours exploring here. We arrived just before 11AM, and was not too crowded despite being a popular destination amongst tourists and locals alike. It definitely started ramping up as we were leaving, so it seems like morning hours may be the most peaceful. We chose not to hire one of the tour guides near the entrance and just explored on our own. I found the passageways and arches to be simultaneously maze-like and stunning. Although many parts of the fortress were in disrepair, it was exciting to imagine what daily life was like within these walls. While wandering around, I could visualize the ghosts of past millennia as their footsteps echoed through the magnificent stone walls and structures. After climbing to the top of the fort, we enjoyed the panoramic views of the city while dwelling in the strong, cool breeze, wicking away our sweat from the sunny day. People were genuinely curious to chat and take pictures together, and overall it was a very welcoming experience.
Kev Z — Google review
The fort is massive, with strong stone walls, ramparts, and well-preserved ruins. The layout and design are considered very impressive and photogenic. Climbing to the top gives really nice panoramic views of Hyderabad. Especially recommended to visit in the evening or around sunset to get the best views. full tour can take 1.5–2 hours

Ramoji Film City is a renowned destination in India, attracting millions of visitors annually with its unique themes and beautiful settings. As the world's largest film studio, it offers tours, live shows, an on-site theme park, and adventure zone. Visitors can immerse themselves in Bollywood dreams through activities like film city tours, adventure sports, toy train rides, and exploring various gardens.
I visited Ramoji Film City, and it was an amazing experience! The place truly lives up to its reputation as one of the world’s largest film cities. From grand movie sets and beautiful gardens to entertaining live shows, every corner has something unique. The guided tour was well-organized and informative. You really get to see how movies are made behind the scenes. Food and facilities were decent, and the staff was friendly too. Highly recommend spending a full day here to explore everything properly.

Amazing place for movie maniac as a persona can actually visit the the seta where the movies were shot. Blockbusters like Bahubali and Chennai Express and many more were shot over there. The Eco tour has a bird & butterfly park. It even has multiple fine dine restaurant and street food kiosks. All in all a great place to spend with family and friends for the entire day

It's a place you must visit once. Good to go with family to enjoy the beautiful gardens, sceneries, fountains. Also experience the film making process. The management and system is so organised that you will not miss any places to visit. You will have a well spent day.

A lot of impressions and quite impressive. Friend tour guide and I have to say she deserves a five star. Like her humour but for me it was all about the intensions of this place. it is both monumental and emotional. Qudos to everyone who put the work in to keep it alive. Respect. Keep the good work

The overall time we spent was justified for the price of the tickets. It is a well planned and maintained location. You'll definitely love it. Plus-Worthy cinematic experience, lots of different spots to explore, cute buses enroute you to different places, toilets and snacks at almost every stop. Minus-Includes a lots of walk and temperature changes from AC vented halls to again back to normal temperature outside. So, be prepared to deal with regular temperature shifts! Rest it's an awesome place to visit!! Family friendly.👍🤩

Ramoji Film City is a Good place to visit with so much to explore and enjoy. The Eureka zone, Baahubali set, Japanese Garden, Hawa Mahal, European Streets, and Evening Parks are some of the best attractions to experience. It’s perfect for a full-day outing with family and kids. Though outside food isn’t allowed, water bottles and snacks inside are reasonably priced. However we had to wait around 30 minutes for food after 2 PM at the Baahubali set, so the food service could be improved. Management can review about the pricing - it feels slightly high, especially since lunch isn’t included in the package.
Sreenivasulu G — Google review
Visiting Ramoji Film City with my friends was absolutely epic and fully justifies its fantastic reputation. They have 2 package option AC/ Non-AC. Only difference in AC package it has buffet lunch included, and non-ac doesn't have dinner option one must pay for their own food. It is an full day activity so plan accordingly. We hit all the highlights, and the energy we got from the sheer number of things to do made the whole day fly by—we give the experience a huge thumbs up! The core of the day was the Studio Tour, which was far more impressive than just seeing static sets. Seeing the intricate details on the iconic streets, the massive temple facades, and the beautiful Indian and Japanese Gardens made for incredible photo opportunities for our group. The undeniable highlight of this section was the Bahubali Set. Walking through the gigantic Mahishmati kingdom was surreal; we spent ages exploring the throne room, the massive bells, and the various props, totally losing ourselves in the grandeur of that fictional world. For the adrenaline junkies in our group, the side trip to Sahas Adventure Land was a must. Tackling the ATV track was a blast—it was the perfect way to burn off some energy and enjoy some real speed and dirt-kicking fun, moving from the fantasy sets to a real-life action sequence. We made sure to catch a Live Show, which was the perfect moment to sit down and be entertained. The vibrant choreography and the stunt work were fantastic, adding that extra layer of cinematic excitement. And since we were there during the festival, the Carnival atmosphere topped everything off! The colorful parades, extended timings, and general festive buzz added so much energy and color to the end of our trip. Finally, the Bird Park and Butterfly Park were surprisingly beautiful and provided a wonderful, peaceful contrast to the high-energy sets and adventure sports. It was a serene way to wrap up the sightseeing before heading home. A quick tip for groups: The park is huge, so divide your time wisely! Start with the sets and adventure, and don't forget comfortable shoes. Ramoji is definitely a trip worth taking with your best friends—it’s non-stop fun from the moment you step off the bus!

Ramoji Film City is definitely a must-visit place in Hyderabad — it’s vast, beautifully designed, and offers a unique glimpse into the world of cinema. The guided tour is well-organized, and there are plenty of attractions, sets, and shows for all age groups. However, the entry fee is quite high, and some of the sets and attractions feel a bit outdated. While the overall experience is enjoyable and worth visiting at least once, it would be even better if the management could refresh the sites and reduce the ticket price to make it more affordable for everyone.

Chowmahalla Palace, also known as The Four Palaces, is a historical gem in Hyderabad that served as the official seat of the Asaf Jahi Dynasty. Built in the 18th century, this opulent palace boasts magnificent Persian-style architecture reminiscent of the Shah Palace in Tehran, Iran. Its lush grounds feature gardens, fountains, and smaller palace structures.
A Regal Step Back in Time, Just Minutes from Charminar Visited Chowmahalla Palace after exploring Charminar, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. It’s just a short walk from Charminar, and I highly recommend walking through the local market on the way—it's a great way to take in the city's vibrant culture. 🏰 Palace Grounds & Layout The palace complex is beautifully maintained and peaceful, offering a welcome break from the bustle of the nearby market. The grounds are spacious and include three main structures: The Main Darbar Hall, Two adjacent Mahals, and A vintage car and buggy collection at the far end. The Darbar Hall is especially breathtaking—well-preserved, elegant, and rich with history. It gives you a real sense of royal grandeur. The other two mahals, while still interesting, are not as large or impressive. Some portions of those buildings were closed during my visit. 🚶‍♂️ Experience & Recommendation The overall atmosphere is calm and serene, with manicured gardens and shaded pathways that make for a very enjoyable stroll. Compared to other smaller attractions nearby, Chowmahalla is absolutely worth prioritizing, especially if you're short on time. Highly recommended for anyone already visiting Charminar. The combination of historical architecture, royal elegance, and a peaceful setting makes this a must-visit landmark in Hyderabad.

A stunning piece of history! This palace is a must-visit for anyone interested in Hyderabad's rich heritage. The intricate architecture, beautifully maintained gardens, and exquisite marble work make it a treat to behold. The museum inside showcases an impressive collection of artifacts, including antique furniture and memorabilia from the Nizam's era. A truly regal experience that transports you back in time.
Saba A — Google review
A must visit place if you're in Hyderabad, The palace’s grandeur, intricate architecture, and beautifully preserved interiors offered a captivating glimpse into Hyderabad’s regal past. The magnificent Durbar Hall, elegant chandeliers, and vintage displays of the Nizam era added to its timeless charm. While the palace itself is exceptionally well-maintained, the surroundings outside could use better care — the streets and nearby areas appeared somewhat untidy. However, once inside, the serenity and elegance of the palace easily overshadowed that minor drawback. The palace grounds are expansive and offer a peaceful walk through courtyards, fountains, and finely designed halls. The attention to detail in the restoration and upkeep of the interiors is truly commendable. However, I did notice that the area surrounding the palace could use better maintenance. The streets and nearby surroundings felt a bit untidy and lacked the same level of care that the palace itself receives. This contrast was quite noticeable, especially when transitioning from the lively yet cluttered streets outside to the serene and majestic atmosphere inside the complex. Overall, Chowmahalla Palace is an absolute gem in the heart of Hyderabad. Despite the slightly unkempt surroundings, the experience within the palace more than makes up for it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves history, architecture, or simply wants to spend a day immersed in royal elegance. It’s a glimpse into a glorious past that still shines beautifully today.

Amazing place, if the entry was free I would come here every day to relax. The museum aspect itself was really intriguing and fun, it’s always cool to explore the history of the places you stay in,and this one is a must visit for anyone. However, the best part for me was the serenity and peace that I felt while being there, they are doing a great job of cleaning the place up and presenting it beautifully. My only complain is that I came while they’re doing some restoration and had scaffolding around which made the experience less pleasant but not too bad.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chowmahalla Palace, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The palace's stunning architecture, rich history, and beautifully landscaped gardens left me in awe. As I walked through the complex, I felt like I was transported back in time to an era of grandeur and opulence. The intricate carvings, ornate domes, and majestic courtyards were breathtaking. It was fascinating to learn about the Nizam's legacy and the palace's significance in Hyderabad's cultural heritage. A must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, architecture, and culture!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Jewel of Hyderabad! Just wow! Chowmahalla Palace is easily one of the best places to visit in Hyderabad. 🤩 The palace itself is incredibly beautiful, and the architecture is just mind-blowing. You can feel the history in every corner.🔥 The King's Throne area is simply out of this world! ✨ I was left wondering how someone could build something so impressive and truly majestic. It’s breathtaking!🥰 But for me, the best part was the car museum! 🚗 It's an absolute heaven for any car enthusiast. They have the one and only 1912 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, known as the "Throne Car."👑 Seeing it in person was unreal! They also have other classic cars from Ford and others,🏎️ all over 100 years old. It's like stepping back in time. And there's more! The museum also has an amazing collection of art, along with a display of historical war material. 🗡️🤯 Seeing 100-year-old swords and guns was so fascinating. This place truly has something for everyone. I can't recommend it enough!💯 A definite must-go place in Hyderabad for sure. Don't miss it! 👑

Very beautiful architecture and intricate interiors form a visual treat. The entry price was 150/- for one person for us. The embellishments and collection of the king’s artifacts are all beautiful to look at. We had a nice relaxing walk through the gardens. We spent about 1hour there. There is a canteen inside where you can buy some snacks.

Nehru Zoological Park, located in the charming neighborhood of Bahadurpura, Hyderabad, is a captivating destination for wildlife enthusiasts and families. Spanning 380 acres, the park features diverse species from around the world and immersive habitats. Visitors can enjoy safari rides and explore expansive grounds while observing animals such as tigers, rhinos, elephants, monkeys, and more. The park also offers an array of activities including train rides, jungle safaris, boating, and bicycle rentals.
Great Place for a Day Out! The Zoo Park is a lovely place to spend time with family and kids. The environment is clean, and there’s a nice variety of animals to see. It’s also a good spot for learning and relaxation. Some animals looked a bit tired or low in energy, so I hope the zoo continues improving care and facilities. Overall, it was a fun and memorable visit — definitely worth checking out!

I had an amazing experience visiting this zoo! The place is beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to explore and enjoyable for all ages. The enclosures are spacious, and it’s clear that the animals are well cared for. What really stood out was how educational the experience was—there were plenty of informative signs and friendly staff willing to share interesting facts. It’s the perfect place for families, kids, or anyone who appreciates wildlife and conservation. The food and rest areas were convenient, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Highly recommend spending a day here—you’ll leave with lots of memories and a greater appreciation for animals and nature!

A wonderful experience for nature and animal lovers! Nehru Zoological Park is one of the best-maintained zoos in India. The park is spacious, clean, and filled with greenery, making it perfect for a family outing. There’s a wide variety of animals and birds — from majestic lions and tigers to playful elephants and beautiful peacocks. The safari ride is a must-try; it gives a real jungle feel! There are plenty of resting spots, food stalls, and clean washrooms, which make the visit comfortable even with kids. It’s also well-managed in terms of crowd and cleanliness. A great place to learn about wildlife and spend a peaceful day close to nature. Highly recommended for families, students, and photography enthusiasts!

I booked my entry ticket directly from the counter and received it as an SMS with a link — a smooth and convenient process. Later, I also purchased the **Tiger Safari** ticket online while boarding the bus, which worked perfectly. I really appreciate this **Digital India initiative** — it makes the ticketing experience much easier and hassle-free. However, I noticed that **many animal enclosures were empty**, with just the nameplates displayed. To add to that, the **Dinosaur Park**, which used to be one of the main attractions, is currently **closed**, which was quite disappointing. Overall, it’s an **okay place to visit** if you have enough time and want a relaxed outing. But if you’re short on time or looking for a complete zoo experience, you can **skip this one** without missing much.
Rachit C — Google review
We had an enjoyable visit to the Nehru Zoological Park with the kids! There is a great variety of animals, and the overall experience was fun for the whole family. For practical information, the entry fee is reasonable: ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children. Parking is also available for ₹100. The battery-operated vehicles are a huge plus, offering convenient drop-off and pick-up services around the park. However, a major disappointment was the Fish Aquarium, which was closed due to a complete power outage. This is frustrating, especially after paying the entrance fee, and the management should ensure backup electricity is available for all paid attractions. Overall, a good place for a family outing, but be prepared for potential closures if the power is out
Srikanth R — Google review
The zoo is a sprawling green oasis home to a diverse collection of animals in commendable, open-air enclosures designed to mimic their natural habitats. The opportunity to see Asiatic lions, tigers, rhinoceros, and a variety of birds and reptiles is a major draw. The addition of a nocturnal house, aquarium, and a prehistoric dinosaur park shows great imagination and commitment to an educational experience for all ages. However, the enjoyment is tempered by the pricing model. Visitors are required to purchase separate tickets for almost every major attraction beyond the main entrance, including the safari rides, toy train, and battery-operated vehicles (buggies). This a la carte approach means that a family wanting to experience all the highlights faces a surprisingly high cumulative price.
Kasi V — Google review
This is a zoo worth seeing. One may see tigers, lions, elephants, deers, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, reptiles and many other animals. The very remarkable things here to see are the nocturnal animals. There is an aquarium also. Transport arrangements inside the zoo are there. There are battery-operated cars and toy trains. Safari is a must see. Both kids and adults will like it and enjoy.

Qutub Shahi Tomb is one of the most amazing tourist spots in Hyderabad. Evening time is the best time to visit this spot. Stone carvings of the tomb and marbles or some gems are fixed in the top-side tombs, which are wonderful. This spot looks calm, and everywhere there is grassland & so much not crowded. Even still now they are still doing maintenance and renovation work, also ongoing. There are also sitting benches available. This spot is near (some kms to) Golconda Fort. The Qutb Shahi Tombs are one of Hyderabad’s most significant historical landmarks, located just 10 minutes from Golconda Fort by auto. Set within a serene garden complex, the site offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere away from the city’s noise. The complex houses seven grand tombs along with a beautifully built mosque, each structure reflecting the architectural grace of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. It’s a wonderful place for history lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys quiet, well-preserved heritage spaces. A must-visit alongside Golconda Fort for a fuller glimpse of Hyderabad’s royal past.
GOLAM Y — Google review
After exploring the nearby historic Golconda Fort, we stopped by this sprawling necropolis containing the tombs of the Qutub Shahi dynasty during the 16th and 17th centuries. This area is a stunning and concentrated example of Indo-Islamic and Qutb Shahi architecture. In the centre of each tomb is a sarcophagus which overlies the actual burial vault in a crypt below. The domes were originally overlaid with blue and green tiles, of which only a few pieces now remain. Beyond the seven main Qutub Shahi tombs (also colloquially known locally as 7 tops), there were a variety of smaller tombs for wives and extended family, as well as favored members of the sultante including physicians, courtesans, and a commander-in-chief. In addition to the various tombs, the grounds also host a number of gardens, baths, and mosques. The relatively few visitors made the expansive grounds feel both desolate and peaceful. As a result, exploring the surrounding archways and vaulted interiors was both a meditative and contemplative experience.

Hussain Sagar Lake is one of the most iconic and scenic attractions in Hyderabad, offering a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages. The entry to the lake is quite affordable at just ₹20 per person, making it accessible for everyone. Once inside, you can choose between different boating options depending on your preference and budget. The big ferry ride, priced around ₹100 per person, takes you on a peaceful and enjoyable journey across the lake, offering a great view of the surroundings and the city skyline. It’s perfect for families or groups who want to relax and take in the beauty of the place at a slower pace. Hussain Sagar is more than just a lake; it's a social and cultural heart of Hyderabad. It’s a place where history, recreation, and urban life converge. My recommendation is to visit in the late afternoon or evening to fully appreciate the serene sunset views and the magical spectacle of the illuminated Buddha statue. While it may have its flaws, the overall experience of boating on the lake and witnessing this historic monument makes it a must-visit destination in Hyderabad.

This lake is surrounded by many tourist spots. The best way to explore it is to take a boat to the Buddha statue and enjoy the view, especially during the night. You can see the whole lighting on the Buddha statue, and the Secretariat also glows really nicely. You can choose from multiple varieties of boats from slow to fast. Just remember, the boats can be very crowded, and the water can be smelly and filthy.
Pradumna S — Google review
Beautiful view, but boating experience needs improvement Hussain Sagar Lake offers a lovely view of the city lights and the surroundings look great at night. However, the boating experience was disappointing due to the strong odour and visible pollution in the water. It becomes difficult to enjoy the ride or even breathe freely throughout the trip. This lake is one of Hyderabad’s most iconic spots and has so much potential to be a wonderful tourist attraction if proper cleaning and maintenance are done regularly. I sincerely hope the authorities take steps to improve the water quality and make this beautiful landmark enjoyable for everyone again.
Ramkumar S — Google review
The experience was too good, we need to enter the lumbini park by paying 20rs as entrance fee and inside the park we need to pay for boat. Only the boat which is charging 100rs is only allowed to enter the budhha statue, rest all the boats charging like 500 and all they will just make a round at budhha statue and drop. If you want to visit budhha statue, then go on 100rs boat. The experience was too good, the best time to visit there is night as they will put some lights. Overall a good experience.

Nicely maintained. The main attraction is the boat ride to the Buddha Status in the middle of water. Out of the various option, we found the Speed Boat to be the best, as you get the thrill of the speedboat cruising through the waters of the lake. It cost Rs 400 for 4 persons. However, you cannot get down at the statue platform for a walk.

Lumbini Park in Hyderabad is a beautiful place to spend an evening beside Hussain Sagar Lake. The musical fountain and laser light show are the main attractions. The water, lights, and music are perfectly synchronized and create a great atmosphere. The laser show also projects visuals related to Hyderabad’s culture and history, which is quite impressive. The view of the lake during sunset followed by the show makes it a memorable experience. Tickets are affordable, and the park is well maintained. Best to reach by 6 PM to get good seats, as it can get crowded on weekends. A few improvements could make it even better — the seating area and lighting quality can be upgraded. Still, it’s a wonderful outing for families, couples, and tourists visiting Hyderabad. Tip: Arrive early, enjoy a boat ride before the show, and don’t miss the 7:15 PM laser show timing.

The boat rides can also take you to see the Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake. There’s also a laser show for 80 rupees for adults. Various food stalls selling items like samosa, potato swirl etc are there too.

A beautiful park located in the heart of Hyderabad. It has a boating point, a small children’s play area, and a laser show in the evening which adds to the charm. There are plenty of shady trees where you can relax and enjoy the cool breeze, and the view around the lake is really peaceful and refreshing. However, food options inside the park are quite limited, so it’s better to carry your own snacks or water. The kids’ play area is also small, and there isn’t much entertainment apart from boating. Still, it’s a nice place to spend a quiet evening with family or friends, especially if you just want to relax in nature.

The Charminar is an unmissable, magnificent piece of Indo-Islamic architecture and the enduring symbol of Hyderabad. Its four towering minarets are breathtaking, especially when illuminated at night. It's a dual experience: appreciating the historic beauty of the monument itself (climb to the top for a view!) while simultaneously navigating the intense, vibrant chaos of the surrounding Old City markets (like Laad Bazaar). Visit early in the morning for a quieter look at the monument, or brace yourself for crowds and intense energy if you go during peak hours or evening when the atmosphere is electric. Be prepared for heavy crowds and be mindful of your surroundings in the busy bazaars.

The view from the top, the busy streets, the aroma of local food—everything made the visit memorable. After exploring the surroundings, I also bought Hyderabad pearls, and the quality was amazing! The shops near Charminar have a great collection, and I found some really elegant pieces at a reasonable price. A perfect combination of history, shopping, and local charm. Overall, Charminar is a must-visit spot in Hyderabad—both for its heritage and for the authentic pearl shopping experience.

Climbing to the upper level of charminar gives you a lively, chaotic, and absolutely vibrant view of Hyderabad’s old streets. The markets around Charminar add to the experience—perfume shops, bangles, pearls, street food, all buzzing with energy. It can get crowded, but the atmosphere is part of the charm. The monument is well-maintained, and visiting in the early morning or around sunset makes the whole scene more peaceful. Anyone visiting the city should see it at least once to feel the blend of history, culture, and everyday life that surrounds it.

NTR Gardens, Hyderabad – A Green Haven in the Heart of the City 🏞️ NTR Gardens is one of the most beautiful and popular tourist attractions in Hyderabad, Telangana. Spread over an area of about 36 acres near the picturesque Hussain Sagar Lake, the garden offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was developed in memory of the legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The garden was constructed by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and opened to the public in phases beginning in 1999. 🏝️ The garden’s design beautifully combines modern landscaping with natural beauty. Visitors are greeted by lush green lawns, vibrant flower beds, ornamental plants, and artistic fountains. There are several themed sections within the park, such as a Japanese Garden, a Desert Garden, and a Rock Garden, each offering a unique experience. The toy train that runs around the park is especially popular with children, while the boating facilities and food courts attract families and tourists alike. 🌌 One of the highlights of NTR Gardens is its evening view. As the sun sets, the garden lights up with colorful illuminations, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. The gentle breeze from Hussain Sagar Lake adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot for evening strolls. ✨ Located on NTR Marg in Khairatabad, the garden is easily accessible from all parts of Hyderabad. The entry fee is affordable, and the park is well-maintained with proper security and cleanliness. NTR Gardens not only serves as a place for recreation and relaxation but also stands as a tribute to one of the most beloved figures in Andhra Pradesh’s history. Overall, it is a must-visit destination that reflects the cultural and natural beauty of Hyderabad.
Huzaifa K — Google review
NTR Gardens is a lively and colorful spot in the heart of Hyderabad, perfect for a relaxed evening. The place is well-maintained with beautiful greenery, fun activities, and walking paths that make it enjoyable for families, couples, and kids. The vibrant atmosphere, small rides, and photo spots add to the experience. It’s a refreshing escape from the busy city and a great place to unwind.
Soma M — Google review
NTR Garden, located adjacent to the iconic Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad, serves as a popular and affordable urban park, primarily known for its lush greenery and family-friendly attractions. Visitors consistently praise the beautifully landscaped gardens, which offer well-maintained lawns, spacious walking paths, and unique features like the Japanese Garden and the Machan Tree restaurant built into a massive artificial trunk. The overall atmosphere, especially during the evening hours, is tranquil and refreshing, offering a much-needed green escape from the city bustle. For families, the park is a hit, offering recreational activities such as a toy train ride that circles the grounds, a dedicated children's play area, and fun features like the Roaring Cascade and a fountain. The convenient location near other major attractions like Lumbini Park and the Necklace Road is a significant bonus for tourists planning a full day of sightseeing. However, prospective visitors should manage expectations regarding maintenance and crowds. Many recent reviews point out that the park can become excessively crowded, particularly on weekends and holidays, detracting from the peaceful experience. Furthermore, several amenities, including some rides and playing equipment, are occasionally reported as non-functional or in poor condition. Visitors have also noted that while food stalls are available, the quality and cost could be improved, and cleanliness in some public areas, including restrooms, sometimes falls short of expectations. In summary, NTR Garden is an excellent, value-for-money destination for an evening stroll or a budget-friendly outing with children, provided you are prepared for potential crowds and an overall experience that leans more towards a local leisure spot than a meticulously maintained tourist attraction. Key Takeaways: Best for: Families with children, local residents, evening visits. Must-See: Japanese Garden, Toy Train, Machan Tree, view of Hussain Sagar. Tip: Visit on a weekday evening to avoid the heaviest crowds.

Sri Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as 'Visa' Balaji, is a historic Hindu temple located in the serene town of Chilkur, about 25 kilometers from Hyderabad. This ancient sanctuary dedicated to Sri Balaji Venkateshwara showcases remarkable architecture and has been drawing devotees for centuries. Nestled amidst scenic surroundings, the temple offers a tranquil retreat for meditation and spiritual contemplation.
Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as the “Visa Balaji Temple,” is truly a spiritual and peaceful place. I’ve visited it a couple of times, and every visit brings a sense of calm and positive energy. The temple is located slightly away from the city, which adds to its serene atmosphere, surrounded by nature and greenery. The ambience is simple yet powerful. There are no VIP lines or special treatments here, which makes everyone feel equal before the deity. It’s refreshing to see such a pure and traditional approach being maintained in today’s times. The temple staff and volunteers are polite and helpful, guiding devotees respectfully. The process of taking 11 pradakshinas (rounds) while making a wish and 108 after it is fulfilled is followed sincerely by many, creating a unique spiritual experience. The temple doesn’t ask for any donations, which reflects its core values. Cleanliness is well-maintained despite the large number of visitors, especially during weekends. Visiting Chilkur Balaji Temple is not just about making a wish—it’s about peace, devotion, and tradition. Whether you’re religious or just looking for a quiet, spiritual outing, this temple is worth visiting.

Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as the “Visa Balaji Temple,” is one of the most famous and spiritually significant temples near Hyderabad. Located about 25 km from the city, on the banks of Osman Sagar Lake, this temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. It is unique because it operates without a hundi (donation box) and has no VIP privileges, emphasizing equality among all devotees. The temple is well known for fulfilling the wishes of devotees, especially those seeking visas for overseas travel—hence the name “Visa Balaji.” People from across the country visit this temple with faith and devotion. The tradition of taking 11 pradakshinas (circumambulations) while making a wish, and 108 pradakshinas once the wish is fulfilled, adds a deeply personal touch to the temple experience. The temple’s surroundings are peaceful, surrounded by greenery, making it an ideal place for prayer and meditation. Despite the crowds, especially on weekends and Thursdays, the atmosphere remains well-organized and spiritual. The chanting of “Govinda” echoes throughout the temple, filling the air with divine energy. One of the most admirable aspects of Chilkur Balaji Temple is its simplicity—there are no commercial activities inside, and everything revolves purely around devotion. The priests are humble and guide devotees with genuine care. Visiting this temple gives a sense of positivity, hope, and faith. Whether or not one’s wishes come true immediately, the peace and confidence gained here make every visit spiritually fulfilling and memorable.

The place is really good and darshanam is quite easy without much waiting. However, the people outside selling pooja items like coconuts and flowers are charging too much, and there are many fake beggars who keep demanding money, which feels uncomfortable. Apart from that, the temple and its surroundings are peaceful, clean, and spiritually refreshing. The atmosphere inside gives a genuine devotional vibe and it’s a nice place to visit with family or friends for a calm and positive experience.

I want to share you my experience of that how we got scammed . . After parking the bike , a man approached us and showed the directions to darshan . He picked us and went to a shop where the shop contains tulasi mala and coconuts . They told to buy them , we thought of 100 or 150 rupees for 2 coconuts and one tulasimala , shopkeeper told us the cost is 380 rupees . We conveyed of not buying them , then they took out helmets and warned us to buy otherwise we won't letgo from here . And as last option we Buyed that of spending 380 rupees on that. . Beware of that scams , the shopkeeper who scammed us , we took a video and photo of them from long distance. . I attached photos and videos in this review of them , the woman in redcolour saree sitting far is the one who scammed us . . And last we enquired the cost of same things that we spent 380 . It's good place for family or young ones to have fun there. It's near to the National Highway, beside Indira Park in Lower Tankbund area. Also it's nearest to Hussain Sagar Lake. Snow Area can by enjoyed at the price of 650 per adult which may vary from time to time. This is located on the ground floor. It includes a small ride, snow slide, snow fall. One can play volleyball here. Coffee and tea are available in this section, but not of good taste. Besides the Snow Area, other sections can be availed at an extra cost of 200 rupees or total cost of 850 rupees per adult for the whole enjoyment. The other parts include Kalledo, Upside-down, Rain Forest and Living Dead. In the courtyard of this place, various food items are available and toilets as well for the convenience of tourists.

Coolest experience ever! ❄️☃️ Visiting Snow World in Hyderabad was super fun and exciting! It felt amazing to enjoy real snow in the middle of the city. From snow slides to dancing in snowfall, every moment was full of joy and thrill 😍❄️ The jackets and boots provided kept us warm, and the entire place was well-managed and clean. It’s a great spot to visit with friends or family, especially if you’ve never experienced snow before 🌨️🎉 I had a blast and made some great memories here! Definitely worth visiting at least once. Totally chilled out day! 😄❄️

The place has 4 different experiences, out of which Snow World is marketed s the main attraction. It's the only one with fixed timings, so plan your arrival accordingly. To each one his own, but going by our experience, Rain forest and scary house can be done in 15-20 mins. Reserve some time for Mirror maze;it's quite fun. Snow World itself is ok in terms of experience. We had a school kids group in the same session as ours. They literally took over the floor but that's ok. We didn't get to see snowfall as some comments mention. All said and done, it's quite pricey for what it offers. Someone else's suggestion but may be 1hr snow is overkill for a family to enjoy. But I think a cheaper, 30 mins session doesn't justify the business model etc. The only indoor snow experience I have but others(online and offline) mention other cities have better snow worlds, at cheaper prices.

Amazing, funfilled place for kids as well as adults... packages are nice. These area has 5 parts viz. Snow world, rainforest, upside down world, living dead and kaledo. Snow World Hyderabad is a good place for kids to enjoy and experience snow. The environment is fun and exciting, especially for families. However, they should provide thicker and warmer socks — within just 30 minutes, your feet start feeling very cold. There are heaters placed outside, but only two; increasing the number would definitely help visitors warm up better after the session. Apart from the snow zone, visitors can also enjoy pearl jewelry shopping and snacks outside. The place offers package attractions too, making it a nice spot for a short family outing.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Snow World! The moment I stepped in, it felt like entering a real winter wonderland right in the heart of Hyderabad. The snow area was super fun — from snow slides and igloos to snowball fights, everything was so exciting. The temperature drop felt refreshing and thrilling at the same time. The staff was friendly and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. The jackets, boots, and gloves they provided kept us warm enough to enjoy all the activities comfortably. It’s a perfect place for families, friends, or even a quick escape from the city heat. If you’re in Hyderabad and want something unique and fun to do, Snow World is a must-visit! ❄️☃️ Vary GUD

NOT RECOMMENDED 🎯 it's a waste of time ⏲️ Prices are too high and quality is very poor. 600 for adults 500 for children 50 for mobile If you compare this to Mysore one, I RECOMMEND that only. It's an old building and unhygienic. Q system is very bad 👎. Parking is free. The road which enters here is a garbage area. They should reduce the price or improve the quality. There are holes in the dresses they are going. I don't think 90 % people won't complete 1 hour, it's better they start for 30 minutes with price reduction.

It’s crazy how they completely built it with marble. It looks stunning. Due to the marble, it feels colder inside and when you are roaming around. The view from there is also nice as you can see the whole Hyderabad city. You can also see the Buddha statue, Sagar Lake, etc. If you like architecture, definitely worth visiting

Beautiful temple with peaceful atmosphere and great city view! We visited Birla Mandir on a Saturday — it wasn’t very crowded, and we could enjoy the full view of Hyderabad from the top. The temple is truly beautiful and peaceful. We took an auto from the main road below; it cost ₹80, but the driver dropped us only near the gate, not up to the parking area. Phone keeping, footwear keeping, and bag keeping are all free, but when collecting our footwear, the person there asked for some money. Some renovation work was going on during our visit. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the toilets — much better than most public places in India! Photography and cameras are not allowed inside the temple. To reach the gate, you have to walk up a small road lined with shops from the main road below — it’s only about 200 to 250 meters, so it’s an easy walk even if you don’t have a vehicle. Overall, a must-visit place in Hyderabad for peace, spirituality, and a stunning city view.

Birla Mandir is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Hyderabad. Built with pure white marble, the temple looks stunning especially during sunset. The view of the city and Hussain Sagar Lake from the top is just breathtaking. The atmosphere is calm and spiritual, making it a perfect place to sit quietly and relax. It’s very clean and well maintained — definitely a must-visit spot in Hyderabad!

The Birla Temple is honestly one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve visited in Hyderabad. Built on a small hill, the view from the top is absolutely stunning — you can see the city spread out below and the calm waters of Hussain Sagar in the distance. The white marble structure looks elegant and gives off a very serene, spiritual vibe even before you step inside. Climbing up the steps is quite easy and the pathway is clean and well maintained. Once you reach the main temple area, the intricate carvings and the peaceful atmosphere make it worth the effort. What I really liked is that even though it’s a popular tourist spot, it still feels calm and respectful inside. Photography isn’t allowed in the temple premises, which actually helps keep the place peaceful. If you go during the evening, the lighting around the temple makes it look even more magical. There are no big food stalls inside, but there are some near the base, so carrying a water bottle is a good idea. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot — whether you’re religious or just want a quiet, scenic place to spend some time.

Birla Mandir is a beautiful temple with a peaceful vibe. The architecture is really impressive, especially the white marble. The view from the temple is also amazing, you can see the whole city. It’s a nice place to visit if you want to spend some quiet time or just enjoy the serenity. Definitely worth a visit!

There's more to the Birla Temple in Hyderabad. The view at the top of the temple facing the Hussain Sagar Lake and the Secretariat building is mesmerizing and beautiful during evening time. Since cellphones aren't allowed inside temple, we can't capture most of it. There's five smaller mandirs of different gods inside the temple like Hanuman ji, Shiv ji and others. The whole temple is carved out beside a rocky mountain completely made of white marble. It's a must visit when visiting Hyderabad.
Debasmita M — Google review
It's really a nice spiritual place to have time and there is Venkateshwara swamy idol inside it and you can enjoy the view of traffic from the top and clouds, budha statue, tank bund and secretariat and etc., 4 Wheeler and 2 wheeler parking available Restroom are also available Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple Keep your electronics in cloak rooms which is free of cost. Don't pay anything You shopping some god mini idols and laddus and little things etc.,

It offers various activities such as fishing, boating, and features a floating fountain. The newly constructed cable-stayed bridge adds to the city's attractions and will be illuminated with multi-colored lights each night.
this park recently and was impressed by how neat and well-maintained it is. Entry requires a small ₹10 ticket, which is quite reasonable for the experience. It's a great place to spend time with family, friends, or even for a peaceful walk, especially in the morning or evening when many people come for exercise. The park offers boating, adding to the fun, and there’s ample space to sit and relax. Some basic exercise equipment is also available for those who want to work out. Planetarium
Museum
Located in the heart of Hyderabad, the Birla Planetarium is a dome-shaped structure inaugurated in 1985 by Sri N.T. Rama Rao. It offers educational shows in English and regional languages that depict the solar system and comets. Developed with technical assistance from Japan, this modern planetarium consists of four sections, each providing a unique opportunity to explore the unknown.
We had a nice experience visiting the Birla Planetarium after over a decade, this time as adults. The show was quite informative and offers an amazing glimpse into the heavens that we often do not get to enjoy due to light pollution in Hyderabad. It provokes questions among children to promote scientific temper. It is a must visit for families with children, as well as adults with interest in space and astronomy.
Karthik V — Google review
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Birla Planetarium 📅 Visited on: 01-05-2025 I visited Birla Planetarium with my mom and nephew (my sister’s kid) to give him a fun and educational experience about space. My nephew really enjoyed it, but honestly, for me, it was a bit of a disappointment. 🚀 Experience: The space theory show is still the same old story that I’ve seen since my childhood—no major updates or improvements. The seating is also outdated; the same old seats, and the screen projection was blurry, making it hard to watch clearly. ❄️ AC & Comfort: The AC was on full blast, and it was too cold throughout the 30-minute show. It made sitting there a bit uncomfortable. 💸 Tickets & Parking: Ticket price: ₹200 per person Bike parking: ₹20 🚦 Other Observations: After buying the tickets, there were no clear signboards or directions on where to go next, which created some confusion. The show lasted about 30 minutes. 🔧 My Suggestion: Birla Planetarium seriously needs to update its screening experience to match today’s AI generation and modern expectations. Kids today are used to much more advanced tech, and this place has a lot of potential if they upgrade their content and facilities. ➡️ My overall opinion: Above Average, but needs major updates.
Shiva P — Google review
Prices are a bit high and the planetarium show isn’t as good compared to Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai. But the museum is excellent – the big dinosaur fossil 🦕, ISRO exhibits, rockets 🚀, and space science displays are worth the visit. I recently visited Birla Planetarium and had a mixed experience. The entry prices are on the higher side, and honestly, the planetarium show itself was not as impressive as expected. Compared to the Nehru Planetarium in Mumbai, which offers a much better show at a more affordable price, this one feels a bit underwhelming. The visuals and narration could definitely be improved to make it more engaging and educational. That said, the real highlight of the visit was the science museum attached to the planetarium. The museum is well-organized and filled with fascinating exhibits that both children and adults can enjoy. The dinosaur fossil 🦕 is big and really impressive, giving a glimpse into prehistoric life. I also loved the displays about ISRO, rockets 🚀, satellites, and space stations, which showcase India’s progress in space science. There are also interesting models and information about different branches of science that make the museum quite engaging. Overall, while the planetarium show may not fully justify the price, the museum is definitely worth visiting. If you are in Hyderabad and have an interest in science, especially space and history, it’s a good stop. But for the planetarium experience itself, I’d still recommend Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai, as a better choice
Tabassum K — Google review
The experience was just above average only, that might be due to we expected more. We went as a family of 4, to watch a show at the planetarium as well as visiting museums and all. The science experiments were good, but can be presented to better suit all age groups. The planetarium show was so so, with less scientific work and more of rashis and stuff. Biological and several other parts can definitely be made more interesting with models and innovative ways.
Dr P — Google review
I've been to the art gallery, planetarium, science section and the place with dinosaurs. The scientific inventions were cool to work on and see and almost felt like playing a game and learning something. I've never thought of Hyderabad to be a place where dinosaur bones were found and displayed for visitors to see, it was my first time seeing the fossils and I was definitely not disappointed.
Manikandan — Google review
This planetarium is absolutely lovely. On weekends however check the show timings and make a booking in advance because the shows can get sold out. Planetarium has parking as well!

Planetarium was good. Great for people who are interested in astronomy. Explained: celestial objects, star formation, solar system all planets, galaxies, milky way, about sun , dwarfs planets, moon mission, telescopes and observable universe

Birla Planetarium is a must-visit for anyone curious about space, science, and the wonders of the universe. The shows are both educational and mesmerizing, with high-quality visuals and engaging narratives that captivate both kids and adults. The surrounding area, including the science museum and the stunning view of the city from the hilltop, adds to the overall experience. Shows run for 50 minutes. We have take the tickets in advance and it Run both in Hindi as well as in English. Shows run upto 6 O' clock. Whether you’re a science enthusiast or just looking for a unique outing, Birla Planetarium offers a perfect blend of knowledge and entertainment. Sudha Car Museum is a one-of-a-kind attraction featuring a collection of cars and automobiles designed to resemble everyday objects like handbags, lipsticks, and stilettos. Conceived by the innovative car enthusiast and Guinness World Record holder Mr. K. Sudhakar, this museum showcases nearly 30 unique designs, including bicycles such as Penny Farthings and Tandems.
Sudha Car Museum is a fascinating blend of creativity, quirky humour, and engineering craftsmanship. Perfect for a short, fun outing—especially with kids—it brings a smile with every turn. That said, if you expect pristine displays or modern visitor amenities, you might find some discomfort or rough edges. Good for: Families, art and car enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a distinctly offbeat Hyderabad experience. Not ideal if: You prefer polished exhibitions with full amenities.
Koushik M — Google review
While it is wonderful to see cars in so many shapes and sizes, what puts this place off are the following reasons - 1. Since this place is for kids, it is no fun when they cant touch or experience what they are seeing. Plain watching does not make them happy. Only a few cars have been placed outside where people can sit and click photos. Inside the 3 halls, its just watch from a distance and keep walking 2. General upkeep of the place. Its dusty. 3. Absence of clean washrooms and eating place. If the museum keep aside a few cars of different shapes which children can take rides in, that would be awesome. The cars created by Mr. Sudhakar are amazing. The fact that they all are working cars, fitted with engines and wheels make them interesting but its just watch and walk kind of museum which can be finished in mere 30 minutes at max.

This museum is for car lovers. They made car with different shapes and replicas of famous cars. All the car are in working condition with description about engine used in it and speed. Ticket price is 150 adult and 120 children. It will take one hour to explore. Different shapes like ball , erasor , sofa , cup , bed

Sudha Car Museum is a truly unique and amazing place! The cars here are a brilliant example of creativity especially the ones designed with different themes like a purse, cupcake, cricket bat, and more. People of all ages, from kids to adults, will enjoy the experience. The museum is well-maintained, and the staff is very helpful. If you’re visiting Hyderabad, this place is a must see.
The T — Google review
It’s an okay place if you’re not a car lover. You can see multiple modified and creative versions of cars — like ones shaped as a burger, lipstick, or even a handbag. The ideas are really unique, and many of the cars are actually driveable at an experimental level, which is interesting. However, the place isn’t very well maintained — some vehicles are dusty and the display setup could be better. The visit doesn’t take more than 30–40 minutes unless you’re deeply interested in custom cars. There’s an entry fee and also separate charges for mobile cameras, which feels a bit high considering the overall experience. Good for a one-time visit, especially for kids or families who want to see something different, but not a must-visit spot if you’re expecting a proper vintage or luxury car museum.
Arjun E — Google review
Got it 👍 Here’s a crisp version for Google Reviews: --- Unique concept with creative cars and some vintage pieces, but poorly maintained and you can only see them from a distance. Not worth the price — ₹150 entry + ₹100 for mobile photos + ₹30 parking. Total ended up paying 280/- Overall, overpriced for what it offers.
Anees T — Google review
I recently visited Sudha Car Museum in Hyderabad. I must say, the mind behind these innovative car ideas is truly a genius — very creative and unique concepts. However, if you are a true car lover, you might enjoy it more than I did. Personally, I found it disappointing for several reasons. The place lacks proper maintenance, and the ticket prices are quite high — ₹150 per adult and ₹120 per child. On top of that, they charge ₹100 extra per device if you want to take pictures, which felt unreasonable. Visitors are not even allowed to go near the cars, and most of the cars are modified, not vintage as expected. Honestly, it felt like just hype and not worth spending ₹150 per person. Not recommended, I left feeling regretful about the visit.
Vidushi P — Google review
Honestly, this has to be one of the weirdest and most frustrating museum visits ever. The ticket system itself feels like some kind of joke: ₹150 for adults and ₹120 for kids for a visit that barely lasts 10 minutes. On top of that, they shamelessly charge ₹100 extra just for clicking photos on your own mobile camera. No digital payment option, no proper billing, and to make it worse, they don’t even keep change to return your balance. You literally end up paying more because of their poor management. As for what’s inside—someone with a very weird imagination has just taken random ideas, built cars shaped like fruits, vegetables, and household junk, slapped on an engine and tyres, and called it “creativity.” That’s it. Nothing more. Parking? Space for maybe 10 cars max—again, not thoughtful at all. If you’re a car enthusiast or petrolhead, prepare to be utterly disappointed. There’s nothing about real cars, innovation, or automobile history here. At best, kids might find it amusing for a few minutes, but honestly, with these ridiculous ticket rates and pointless photo charges, it’s absolutely not worth it. Overall, frustrating, overpriced, and a total waste of time. Not recommended to anyone.

Nestled in Madhapur near Hi-tech City, Botanical Gardens spans 120 acres and features 19 sectors or Vanams. This serene park offers extensive walkways, seating areas, and diverse flora. Conveniently located next to Sarath City Mall, it provides ample parking and easy access to nearby food options. The Botanical Garden is a serene oasis! It's a very peaceful and cool place to unwind and connect with nature. The peacocks are absolutely stunning - their beauty and majesty are a treat to behold. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and fell in love with the place. The gardens are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is calming. One of the best places in Hyderabad to visit, especially if you want to spend some quality time with your family, I would suggest this would be the one that you can visit. It’s not only my suggestion. Also go with the other peoples advice about how good this place is not only will just give you a piece of mind, but in case you are a jogging freak, then this is one of the best place you can spend time at. There is a very good place for running there is a forest you have EMV electronic motor vehicles which will take you through the forest. Very beautiful place that you can visit that. Also, you have some nice gardens a lake and cable wire from which you can go from one place to another. I didn’t exactly mean from one to another For the kids. The best part is you can spend as a picnic time with your family, come and go, there are some charges to it for adults. It’s a different amount and for kids. It’s a different amount. In case you have to take a tour of the forest. You need to pay extra money. In case you have to take videos and photography. I think you should also be taking the person permission and Pay the money. Just make sure you don’t bring pets with you, especially dogs because there is a huge public. There will be a huge public on weekends so if you are planning planning on weekends, then please do come earlier to save and spend some time with your family. You also have some exercise equipments. You have a small play area for kids. you also have a pond as said about. The biggest problem here is vehicle parking. You do not have proper spacing to park your vehicles. You need to park completely away from the botanical Garden. So keep in mind. You park your car somewhere else and come here or come by Cabs and autos. Since all of the people leave the park at a time of six or 630, then we will find a huge crowd coming out of the at one go during this timing, you will find it really difficult to find Auto or a cab so plan accordingly.
Hamid A — Google review
The Hyderabad Botanical Garden is truly one of the finest places in the city where nature, peace, and beauty all come together. Spread across a vast area near Kondapur, this garden is a paradise for anyone who wants to escape the chaos of daily life and spend some quality time surrounded by greenery. It is not just a park, but a carefully designed space that showcases the rich biodiversity of plants, trees, flowers, and wildlife. From the very entrance, the garden greets you with fresh air and a calming atmosphere. The pathways are wide and neat, lined with tall trees that provide shade and coolness even on sunny days. As you walk further inside, you can feel the stress slowly melting away and being replaced with a sense of peace and connection with nature. The garden is divided into multiple sections, each with its own charm. The Miyawaki forest area is one of the highlights — it is densely packed with fast-growing native trees, making it look like a mini forest right in the middle of the city. Walking through this section feels like entering a natural sanctuary where birds are chirping, butterflies are fluttering, and the air feels fresher than ever. The bamboo section is another attraction worth mentioning. Tall, green bamboo groves sway gently with the breeze, creating a soothing sound that is so relaxing to listen to. It almost feels like being transported into a different world, far away from the traffic and noise of Hyderabad. The butterfly park is one of the most loved spots, especially for children and photographers. Colorful butterflies can be seen flying around, adding life and vibrancy to the garden. This section is both educational and visually delightful. The variety of flowering plants attracts not only butterflies but also bees and small birds, making it a hub of natural activity. There are also medicinal and ornamental plant sections, which are very informative. Each plant has a board with details, so visitors can learn about its uses and origin. For students and nature lovers, this is like a living classroom where you can see rare species up close. The water bodies and small ponds inside the garden add to the charm. The sight of water lilies, aquatic plants, and the calm reflection of trees in the water make it a perfect spot to sit and relax. Early mornings and evenings are particularly magical here, with soft sunlight making the garden glow beautifully. The Botanical Garden is not only about plants, but also about space for people. The walking and jogging tracks are perfect for fitness lovers, while families often come here for picnics. There are plenty of benches and shaded spots to sit and relax. The wide lawns provide children a safe place to play, and couples or groups can enjoy peaceful conversations without any disturbance. Another wonderful thing about the garden is the birdlife. If you are lucky, you can spot peacocks, parrots, kingfishers, and many other local bird species. For bird watchers and photographers, this place is nothing short of heaven. Maintenance of the garden is commendable. Despite being spread over such a large area, the cleanliness is well taken care of, and the plants are nurtured properly. Seasonal flower shows and plantation drives organized here make the place even more colorful and lively. In short, the Hyderabad Botanical Garden is not just a tourist attraction, but an experience of calmness, learning, and connection with nature. It’s an ideal destination for morning walkers, students, researchers, families, couples, and even solo visitors who want to spend peaceful time amidst nature. If you are in Hyderabad and haven’t visited this garden yet, you are truly missing out on one of the city’s greenest treasures. It’s a reminder that in the middle of our busy urban lives, there still exists a space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the simple joys of nature. 🌳🌸🦋✨

The lakeside garden is a serene retreat, perfect for weekend getaways. With its captivating sunset views and lush greenery, it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While weekdays are ideal for avoiding crowds, the skating ground for kids and the charming bonsai and flower gardens make it a delightful spot for family outings. The entrance adorned with lovely arches and ample parking add to its appeal, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers.

It's a very popular tourist place and has been developing continuously. I went around 3 pm on Saturday, limited crowd. Entry fees: Adult - Rs.50 and Children - Rs.20 (fee a little too much) Parking facility inside - free. The place was well constructed with designer walls. Inside was very spacious with big trees intact. Seating benches were available here and there. You can get a very nice view of the lake. People were coming for photoshoot. The place was also famous as a picnic spot. Many have come with packed meals and eating there with families. Washroom facility available - free.

Osman Sagar Lake offers a serene escape with its picturesque surroundings and pleasant views. However, it's important to note that weekends tend to be quite crowded, possibly impacting the tranquility of the visit. The entry ticket for adults is priced at a reasonable 50/-. Bike parking facilities are satisfactory, ensuring a convenient experience for visitors arriving on two-wheelers. Despite the occasional crowding, the lake provides a peaceful setting, making it an ideal spot to spend quality time with family. The expansive views and calm atmosphere contribute to a relaxing outing, allowing visitors to connect with nature. Overall, Osman Sagar Lake stands out as a worthwhile destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat amid nature, even if weekends might require a bit more patience due to the larger crowds.

Hussain Sagar Lake, located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, is a popular tourist destination. This man-made lake was constructed in 1562 to meet the water and irrigation needs of the city. It is surrounded by Lumbini Park, Indira Park, and Sanjeeviah Park. The centerpiece of the lake is a large Buddha statue situated on a rock.
Most aesthetic and beautiful place in Hyderabad. Perfect for Aqua Babies! 💙 beautiful sigh view at sunrise sunset and evening. You can enjoy the view whole day it has so many parks surrounded and cafes with water view. Parks and adventures. Lumbini park which has boat rides. You can take ride to buddha statue and see good view 360 degree. There is a park near by where theme wise fares are set up like summer fare, plants fare and more.

It's a nice place, has got good aesthetics and the boat ride to buddha is a sweet experience but the smell ruins the whole experience. The water smells real bad, hoping the government comes up with ways to deal with it.

Hussain Sagar Lake offers a peaceful boating experience with fewer crowds, making it ideal for a relaxing day. However, visitors should be aware that parts of the lake contain waste, so caution is advised. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture stunning photos in front of the Buddha statue—it's a must-see spot for any visitor!
TheOneWhoKnowsMe — Google review
Hussain Sagar Lake is one of the most beautiful and iconic places to visit in Hyderabad. The view of the lake, especially with the Buddha statue in the center, is truly amazing — perfect for evening visits and photos. I also tried speed boating here, and it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend the 4-person boat — it costs around ₹500 and is totally worth it. You can enjoy the ride with friends or family. There’s also a 2-person speed boat, but the 4-person one feels more fun and comfortable. The cool breeze, the lake view, and the overall vibe make it a great spot for relaxation and adventure. Definitely a must-visit place in Hyderabad!

Had a great time with my family . Walked along the border of the lake . Should visit for good conversation with family or friends . A place for photogenic people as the scenery is beautiful . Information abt the past of the lake was given with statues of freedom fighters on the other side of the lake . Must visit for piece of mind and knowledge .

Hyderabad’s perfect evening spot, the stretch along Hussain Sagar from the Ambedkar statue to the Secretariat feels like the city’s own Marine Drive. Sunset views from Tank Bund Road, with the Buddha statue reflecting on the lake, are simply stunning.

Makka Masjid, also known as Mecca Masjid, is an impressive and ornate mosque in Hyderabad. It is one of the oldest and largest mosques in India, accommodating up to 10,000 people. Built between 1614 and 1694 by Muhammad Quli Qutub and his family, this architectural marvel reflects the opulent lifestyle of the Quli Dynasty.
A beautiful and peaceful place for prayer. However, there are many bird droppings (pigeon waste) inside the masjid that are not cleaned properly. It would be even better with regular maintenance and more attention to cleanliness.

A stunning piece of 17th-century Islamic architecture right in the heart of the city, near Charminar. The long brick arches are absolutely beautiful. Strict Dress Code: Be sure to wear modest clothing that covers your knees and shoulders. This rule is strictly enforced. Security: You'll go through a police checkpoint, and all backpacks must be left in the provided paid lockers. Parking: some paid parking boards available nearby roads.
Sumarad T — Google review
The Makkah Masjid, or Mecca Masjid, is an indispensable stop for anyone visiting Hyderabad's historic Old City, standing just a stone's throw from the iconic Charminar. This monumental mosque, commissioned by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1617 and completed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1694, represents a magnificent fusion of Qutb Shahi and Mughal architectural prowess, taking over 77 years to finish. Its sheer scale is breathtaking; crafted entirely from dressed granite, the mosque is one of India's largest, with a vast prayer hall accommodating over 10,000 worshippers. A truly remarkable detail is the central arch, for which bricks were reputedly made from soil imported from the holy city of Mecca—the origin of the mosque's name and its profound spiritual weight. Visitors are immediately struck by the grand, soaring arches, the twin towering minarets, and the tranquil sahn (courtyard). Beyond its religious function, Makkah Masjid holds deep historical significance, as it contains the serene marble tombs of the Asaf Jahi Nizams. Its majestic presence, adjacent to the bustling Laad Bazaar and Charminar, provides a serene and historically rich counterpoint to the city's modern pulse, solidifying its place as a must-see landmark for all visitors.

Makkah Masjid is one of Hyderabad’s most iconic and serene landmarks. The architecture is grand and beautifully detailed, reflecting centuries of history. The peaceful courtyard, the calm atmosphere, and the sense of spirituality make the visit truly memorable. Located close to Charminar, it’s a perfect place to experience the cultural and historical essence of the city. A must-visit for anyone exploring old Hyderabad. N.B. - Females must wear dupatta for entry.

Very Nice and Peaceful place. It's a religious place, however travellers can visit for excellent views of the city. It's a hight altitude location. Expect a climbing of approx. 500 steps, for ordinary peoples having age of 30 - 50 years, it will take approx. 40-50 minutes to climb to dargah. Carry Drinking Water or things as no shops are there on hill. I had climbed there at 7 am.

The impression of Hazrat Ali's palm is installed in the shrine on a stone and an arch is built over the spot. This shrine is located on a hill. One needs to walk over 480 steps to reach the top of the hill to enter the dargah. There are two entries to shrine, one by walk which counts 480+ steps to shrine and another way is by vehicle. From vehicle parking it counts 270-275 steps to reach top of the hill. City view from top of the hill is beautiful. More visitors come here during the month of Moharam. Parking here is free.

Located in the center of Hyderabad, this science hub offers a fascinating blend of learning and fun. It's an ideal spot for anyone with a curious spirit from school kids to adults who enjoy exploring how things work. The hands-on displays, real dinosaur remains, and sections dedicated to India’s achievements in space are impressive. The planetarium, in particular, adds a magical touch to the overall experience. While a few parts could use a modern upgrade, the center still manages to spark interest and wonder. It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours diving into science without feeling like you’re in a classroom.

The Nizam's Museum, situated in the historic Purani Haveli, is a treasure trove of artifacts that span the city's rich history. Originally built by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah for his Prime Minister, it later became a palace for the Nizam's son. The museum showcases an array of mementos and gifts received by Osman Ali Khan Asif Jah VII, the last Nizam of Hyderabad.
I gave this museum five stars only because I was lucky enough to get a one on one with one of the staff. The tour was unexpected but the staff saw that I was very interested in the articles being exhibited so they reached out and asked me if I would like a tour and of course I agreed. The museum was small and was in need of some TLC but it had some very interesting objects. What interested me the most we’re all the gifts that the local ruler received from both his subjects and visiting dignitaries. They were so many objects made of both gold and silver I was truly amazed I had no idea that it such a small museum could hold so many precious objects.

I recently visited Nijam’s Palace, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The ambience is regal and welcoming, perfectly living up to its name. The interiors are beautifully decorated, giving a royal touch that makes you feel like you’ve stepped in to the history. What impressed me most was the balance between tradition and modern comfort — it’s a place that feels both luxurious and homely. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or for a special occasion, Nijam’s Palace is definitely worth it! Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and a royal atmosphere. 👑✨

Nizam's Museum in Hyderabad is not worth visiting due to its ticket price and photography ticket both of them are too high for such small museum as compared to Salar Jung Museum (more exhibits low ticket price). Also there are no water and washroom facilities. The guard at the end gate of the wardrobe room also demanded a tip, which wasn't necessary and should not be given for the kind of service offered here.
Kashif N — Google review
I would say the conditions would happen for the museum especially the entrance it was quite confusing to understand where the entrance of the Museum is. I believe those details need to be mentioned by the Museum. Rest it is good and gives a proper old era vibes, although I would really enjoy it if it could have been bigger with more stuff. The ticket price seems to be a little pricey considering the stuff and the grandeur of the museum. Overall it was a good experience.
Ujjwal S — Google review
The museum showcases a collection of artifacts, gifts, and personal belongings of the Nizams, the former rulers of Hyderabad. The highlight of the museum is the gold tiffin box, which was stolen in 2018 along with other artifacts, but restored soon at its place. The place itself gives you royal vibes about how opulent the erstwhile nizams were and how he was interested in keeping the gifts and artifacts safe during his regime. The impossible to believe fact is that the Nizam gave 2 tonnes of gold jewellery during the war time (see picture with the then prime minister of India Lalbahadur Shastri). Nizam VII was the modern architect of Hyderabad and built some magnificent Edifices.

A Glimpse into Unimaginable Wealth A simple but fascinating museum that showcases the immense riches of the Nizams, once among the world's wealthiest families. The sheer volume of gifts received is astounding. My guide, Hyder Husain, was fantastic—friendly and conversational, which greatly enhanced the visit. The museum's potential is incredible, though I felt the maintenance of the building and grounds could be improved to match its historic significance.

If you have not seen it you are going to miss it. Excellent collection of legacy of the last nizam Worth paying the guide and worth buying the tickets. It's neglected in many ways but it is a symbol of the wealth and power that nizams of hyderabad possessed
Azher R — Google review
One of the most underrated jewels of Hyderabad. Don't be fooled by the buildings exterior. If you have been to the Tower of London to see the Kohinoor then you should definitely visit here and engage a guide as there's one priceless treasure after another such a gold tiffin encrusted with diamonds and rubies which couldn't be sold even after being stolen because they said the whole of Munvai's zaveri bazaar would have to get together to buy it; to platinum vanity mirror encrusted with diamonds and rubies or a 5 kg replica of the marble pavilion where the Nizam had his silver jubilee celebrations. The priceless treasures are not the only reason, the history of the Nizams showing what a benevolent monarch can do is worth reading about too. It's a pity that this jewel of a place is so poorly marketed to Bharat and the globe.

The atmosphere here is calm and divine, making it a perfect place for prayer and meditation. The temple is well-maintained, clean, and surrounded by greenery, which adds to its spiritual charm. The priests are polite, and the daily rituals and aartis are performed with devotion. During festivals like Ratha Yatra and Makar Sankranti, the temple is beautifully decorated, and special pujas are conducted, attracting many devotees. Parking and accessibility are also quite convenient given its location in Banjara Hills.

One of the best temples I have visited in Hyderabad. The Puri Jagannath Temple, Jubilee Hills is truly worth a visit. The temple is beautifully designed, and its architecture resembles North Indian temple style — grand and detailed. There are many small temples within the premises like Ganapathi temple, Shiva temple, Lakshmi temple, Hanuman temple, and more. The entire place is well-organized, very clean, and well maintained. The night view with lights adds an extra charm, making the temple look absolutely scenic and divine. A must-visit spiritual spot in the heart of the city I bet you will visit once again to this place

TL;DR: Peaceful Ambiance || Well-Behaved Staff || Very Clean I recently visited the Jagannath Swamy Temple and had a truly wonderful experience. We went on a Saturday at 7 AM, and the temple was remarkably peaceful and empty, allowing for a serene visit. The entire premises were very clean and well-maintained. All the individual temples within the complex were also kept in excellent condition. I was also very impressed by the staff, who were all exceptionally well-behaved. Finding parking was a breeze as there was ample space available. In short, if you are a devotee of Jagannath and are looking for a beautiful and tranquil temple in Hyderabad to visit, this should absolutely be your go-to place.

Jaganath Temple, located right in the heart of the city, is a truly peaceful and spiritually uplifting place. The serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture make it a perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect from the noise and find a moment of calm. The cleanliness of the surroundings and the warm, welcoming vibe add to the overall experience. It’s definitely a must-visit for devotees as well as anyone interested in culture or simply seeking tranquility. I highly recommend visiting this temple—you’ll leave feeling refreshed and positive.

I felt like I was in the Puri Jagannath Temple. It’s such a cool and peaceful place where you can truly enhance your positive energy. Darshan is very easy here, and there’s no entry ticket required. You can see deities like Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, several goddesses, and finally our Jagannath Swamy. As mentioned, the atmosphere really reminds you of the temple in Puri. After darshan, you can buy lovely prasadam—kaja, coconut laddu, and regular laddu are must-tries. Transport is also very convenient since the temple is right next to the main road. Have a wonderful darshan and enjoy peace of mind. Jai Jagannath.

Such a divine place. We can sit there for sometime and refresh our mind. The temple architecture is very beautiful. There are people outside the temple who will keep an eye on our chappal for a small amount so that it doesnt get stolen. Loved the ambience of the temple.

The Statue of Equality in Hyderabad is a remarkable tourist destination featuring the second tallest sitting statue in the world, dedicated to medieval guru Sri Ramanuja. The golden monument stands at 216 feet and includes a meditation hall at its base. Visitors can also enjoy a daily Light, Music, and Laser show after 4:30 PM. This iconic attraction offers an immersive experience for those interested in history and spirituality.
One of the best religious places to checkout in Hyderabad.. If you don't have the patience to visit all the 108 mini temples it is not a place for you! The maintenance is really really good. Parking is good and managed well. The maintenance statue is amazing.. the view from top is nice and feels calm and serene.

Marvelous monument dedicated to Sri Ramanuja. There are miniatures of 108 Divyadesams around the centre statue and takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to cover this. In the centre, there is a 120 kg gold statue of Sri Ramanuja in a big hall. The main statue is made of metal and is the tallest sitting statue in India. The place is well maintained, but mobiles and cameras are not allowed inside. Only cash works inside for refreshments. There is Ramanuja Harathi conducted every evening at 7:30 pm which is beautiful to watch. Ample parking space available.

Statue of Equality, Hyderabad is a monumental tribute to the 11th-century philosopher-saint Sri Ramanujacharya (Ramanuja), known for his teachings on equality, social justice, and spiritual unity. The statue is 216 feet (≈ 66 m) tall, making it one of the tallest metallic sitting statues in the world. It’s made from panchaloha, a traditional alloy of five metals (gold, silver, copper, brass, zinc). The base building is called Bhadra Vedi, about 54 feet high, and houses a Vedic digital library, research centre, ancient text exhibits, a theatre, and galleries on Ramanuja’s life. The complex features 108 replicas of Divya Desams (important Vishnu temples), each model-built around the statue to reflect Ramanuja's spiritual legacy. There’s a golden idol (Swarna Ramanuja) inside the temple: reportedly 120 kg of gold, symbolizing the saint. Spiritual services are part of the experience: morning/evening sevas, abhishekams, and a traditional harathi (prayer offering). The main highlight is the Leela Jala Neerajanam — a dynamic fountain + laser show after sunset. The complex also provides a food court (satvik food) and some visitor The panchaloha construction, the base building, and the 108 temple replicas are very well done and the surroundings are calm and good for reflection. With devotional services, architecture, and the light show, it’s a meaningful place for diverse groups (spiritual travelers, history buffs, families). mobile phones are not allowed inside the premises, which can be inconvenient, especially for tourists. It’s on the outskirts of Hyderabad (~Muchintal area), so travel requires some planning. Public transport options might be difficult to find. The Statue of Equality is a very worthwhile visit, especially for those interested in philosophy, spirituality, or architecture. Its scale, symbolic meaning, and the thoughtfulness of the complex set it apart from many other statues or temple sites. If you go with an open, contemplative mind, you’ll likely appreciate the symbolism and serenity. For tourists, it's a good half-day trip — you can explore the statues, the temple replicas, catch the light show, and reflect.

Magnificent statue of 11 century saint ramanuj. Temple compex is build in around 200 acers with plenty of parking . Temple is well managed neat and clean. Ticket for 250 for adults and 150 for children. There is a food court which serves delicious food with out onion and garlic. Musical fountain and lazer show is one of the best things to see inside the temple complex. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple. Must visit place near around 30 km from Hyderabad.

Statue of Equality... a Must Visit for all ... both young and aged people would love to be there, enjoy the presence of the world's largest sitting statue of a great Saint Sri Ramanujachary garu who preached Visishta Adwaitam. He disclosed the secret Ashtakshari mantra of Lord Narayana, (which was advocated to him by His Guru and was asked to be keep it a secret) to the general public sitting on a temple gopuram. This place is also powerful (Vishnu Loka as I would like to call it), because you get to see 108 temple Shrines named after 108 Divya Desams, with the 108 Swayambhu- Vishnu Bhagawan's idols. Lord Sri Maha Vishnu self incarnated at those places after getting pleased with the devotion of the Alwars, praising Him in various poetic verses all through their life with full devotion. A must visit place for everyone to get the essence of the divine power and get some peace and tranquility in their lives, and to understand the Jagatguru Sri Ramanujachary ji's Ashtakshari Mantra to the world without pointing any differences between people about their caste creed, gender etc. I wish government provides a regular public transport to this place frequently to help everyone visit this place easily, as I know many people who are not able to visit this place due to.lack of public transport. But this place is a pride for Hyderabad and Telangana and needs support from Government to let more visitors reach there easily. This place is a little away from Airport. So, like our Airport buses, there can be some special bus service to this place as well in a comfortable bus ride plying continuously in this route from major locations like KPHB, Mehsipatnam, HitechCitu. Gachibowli, Nampally, Uppal/Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar, Koti, Paradise, Begampet Panjagutta and other places in Hyderbad .

What a stunning monument. The architecture is impressive. 216-ft tall seated statue of Sri Ramanujacharya stands on a lotus base, surrounded by 36 elephants and model shrines of the 108 sacred Vishnu temples, all woven with symbolic numbers and spiritual meaning. The motive behind to honour Ramanujacharya’s message of equality and inclusivity. If you’re in Hyderabad, make sure you go and take time to absorb the sheer scale, artistry and dedication behind this beautiful monument.

This temple is really beautiful and has 108 temples inside it. The Ramanuja Statue is also really mesmerizing. You're not allowed to take your phones inside but there are Counters to deposit them free of cost. The process of buying tickets is also seamless through the kiosks. They offer you prasad while you exit and have a food court as you exit as well

Wonderla Amusement Park in Hyderabad is a top destination for thrill-seekers and families alike. With a wide range of rides and attractions, it offers something for everyone. From high-thrill rides to water slides and family-friendly attractions, the park ensures an unlimited dose of fun and entertainment. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a variety of dining options to satisfy their cravings.
Had an amazing time at Wonderla Hyderabad! I visited yesterday and absolutely loved the entire experience! The rides were super thrilling and well-maintained. From the high-adrenaline roller coasters to the fun water slides, everything was just perfect. The park was clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and safety measures were properly followed. We tried the Fast Track option and it saved a lot of waiting time. Totally worth it! Also, the wave pool and rain dance were highlights of the day. Highly recommend visiting with friends or family — it's a guaranteed fun-filled day! 🎢💦

Wonderla Hyderabad is definitely a fun place to spend the day, but there are a few things visitors should keep in mind. First and most important – book your tickets online only. The offline counter charges almost double the price compared to online booking, which feels unfair. It would be much better if Wonderla considered keeping at least equal or similar prices for both online and offline tickets to make it easier for everyone. Another point is the food prices inside the park, which are very expensive. If the food costs were more reasonable, it would add to the overall experience. One good tip: if you plan your trip via TSRTC buses, you can get an additional 15% discount on your entry tickets, which is a nice saving. Overall, Wonderla is enjoyable, but booking online and planning your food options wisely will make your visit much better.

The place is great to visit during the summer holidays it has many rides that can be played with family. The price is a little high but service is great. I would recomend to visit during Monday or Tuesday there will be less crowd on these days. Overall my visit was amazing.

Must visit for a wonderful experience! We visited Wonderla on July 30, 2025, and had an amazing time. The only disappointment was missing the Giant Wheel and Roller Coaster, which were under maintenance. Apart from those, we tried almost every ride and thoroughly enjoyed it. 👉 Tip: Visit on weekdays, as weekends are usually crowded and you might not get a chance to enjoy all the rides. ✨ Must-try rides/experiences: -> Mission Interstellar (absolutely the best!) -> Wonder Splash ->Crazy Cars ->Boomerang ->Bullet ->Wave Pools ->Lazy River (super fun with friends!) 😱 Most thrilling/scary rides: ->Equinox ->Twin Flip T-Rex 🍴 Food & Facilities: Food is quite expensive inside, and lockers are also costly at ₹400 each (with ₹50 refunded later). Changing rooms for men and women are separate and clean, which was good. A tip—don’t eat before the big rides; enjoy the thrill first, have food later, and then head to water rides. Overall, it was a memorable experience filled with fun and adventure. I’d rate it 5/5.
Jayanth C — Google review
Very good experience. Well maintained and organized. We went on public holiday. There are many rides. Waiting bit for elders is a bit high. For kids, waiting time on holidays is also not a issue but for elders it's very hard. Plan on week days and avoid holiday if you want to cover more rides. Book tickets online with unlimited buffet lunch. Lunch is good. Don't miss chiku 3D show and interstellar show; worth watching.
Girish K — Google review
We had an amazing experience at Wonderla Hyderabad! I’d definitely recommend getting the Fastrack ticket — it’s absolutely worth the extra ₹1000. We upgraded after reaching there, and it saved us from standing in long queues, especially since there were many school groups visiting that day. The rides are thrilling and give a real adrenaline rush, especially the high-intensity ones — some of them are truly mind-blowing! The giant wheel, however, is skippable if you’re short on time. A few tips: 1. Outside food isn’t allowed, and the food inside is on the expensive side. 2. Bring sportswear or comfortable quick-dry clothes for the water rides. 3. It’s best enjoyed with friends or cousins for maximum fun. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience — a perfect mix of thrill, laughter, and good memories! 🎢💦

Sangram P — Google review
Inorbit Mall in Cyberabad is one of the most iconic and well-maintained malls in Hyderabad — a perfect mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment all under one roof. Located right next to Durgam Cheruvu and Hitech City, the mall enjoys a prime location with beautiful surroundings and great accessibility from all major parts of the city. The mall has a vibrant and spacious layout with a great selection of national and international brands — from lifestyle and fashion to electronics, beauty, and home décor. You can find stores like H&M, Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Sephora, Marks & Spencer, and many more. The interiors are modern, clean, and well-lit, making the shopping experience both comfortable and premium. The food court is another highlight — a perfect spot with a variety of cuisines from quick bites to full meals. Popular outlets like KFC, Subway, Domino’s, Wow! Momo, and several local favorites ensure something for every taste. There are also some great cafes and fine dining options with a view of the Durgam Cheruvu lake, which adds a beautiful ambiance. Inorbit also features a PVR multiplex with comfortable seating and top-notch sound quality, ideal for movie lovers. The mall hosts frequent events, weekend pop-ups, and festive decorations, making it lively and engaging for families and youngsters alike. Parking is well-managed, with separate zones for cars and bikes, though weekends can get a bit crowded. Security and cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the mall. Suggestion: Only improvement needed is smoother parking exit during peak hours and slightly faster lifts on weekends.
ANIMESH S — Google review
Inorbit Mall Cyberabad, located in Madhapur’s Mindspace area, is one of Hyderabad’s most established and popular malls. Opened in October 2009, it spans roughly 800,000 square feet and houses over 140 stores, a multiplex, gaming zones, and a large food court. Its location is convenient—close to the IT hub—and easily accessible by car, cab, or metro. The nearest metro stations are Durgam Cheruvu and Madhapur (both around 1 to 1.3 km away), making it accessible even without private transport. For those driving, the mall has a multi-level basement parking facility that accommodates approximately 1,400 cars. Parking management is fairly efficient, though peak weekend hours can lead to delays at entry and exit points. The design and layout are well-planned, with wide corridors, clear store placement, and adequate seating arrangements throughout. There are dedicated areas for children, wheelchair access, and even a small outdoor zone with a good view. It’s not just a shopping destination; it’s a place where people come to relax, meet friends, or simply stroll. In terms of shopping, the mall offers a wide variety of national and international brands covering fashion, electronics, home goods, and more. Popular outlets include H&M, Shoppers Stop, Reliance Trends, Forever 21, Bath & Body Works, Louis Philippe, Pepe Jeans, and many others. There’s also a Reliance Digital for electronics and a large hypermarket for groceries and essentials. Seasonal sales and brand promotions are frequent, attracting heavy crowds. Food options are extensive. The food court is large and has a good mix of Indian and international choices—Absolute Barbeque, Chutneys, Fusion 9, Starbucks, Bhojanam, Chai Point, and standard chains like Subway, KFC, and McDonald’s. However, quality consistency across outlets varies. While many restaurants maintain good standards, some visitors have noted that certain fast-food chains occasionally compromise on taste or freshness. Weekends bring heavy rush, and getting a table in the food court can be challenging during peak lunch or dinner hours. Entertainment facilities include a six-screen PVR multiplex and Smaaash, a gaming and bowling center. PVR provides decent sound quality, but some screens are small, and there are mixed reviews regarding maintenance and cleanliness. A few visitors have also mentioned occasional hygiene lapses and long queues, particularly during blockbuster releases or weekends. Crowd management is one of the mall’s ongoing challenges. On weekdays, it’s calm and easy to navigate, but weekends can become congested—long lines at food counters, packed elevators, and heavy vehicle traffic outside. Billing queues in the hypermarket section are often long, which might frustrate shoppers in a hurry. Despite this, the mall staff generally remain professional, and security presence is noticeable throughout the premises. One notable aspect is the mall’s focus on community initiatives. Through its “Sparkling Cyberabad” campaign, Inorbit actively engages in keeping the surrounding area clean using automated litter-pickup machines. This is a rare and commendable move for a commercial property. Overall, Inorbit Mall Cyberabad remains a reliable and well-rounded destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Its biggest strengths are variety, accessibility, and infrastructure, while its main drawbacks are weekend crowding and occasional inconsistencies in food court quality or cinema upkeep. If you visit, weekdays or early mornings on weekends provide the best experience. In short, it’s a go-to place in Hyderabad for families, professionals, and tourists alike. Whether you want to shop for premium brands, have a meal, catch a movie, or just hang out, this mall covers almost everything under one roof.
Atish A — Google review
The mall excels in offering a premium retail mix spread across multiple levels. You can find everything from high-street fashion to luxury brands, though it leans heavily toward aspirational international and popular national brands. • Apparel: Features major stores like Zara, H&M, Marks & Spencer, and Lifestyle, offering extensive collections. • Electronics: A large presence of electronics retailers makes it a convenient stop for gadgets and accessories. • Missing Piece: While the retail is strong, dedicated luxury shopping space is somewhat limited compared to newer, high-end malls in the city. Dining and F&B (Food & Beverage) The food court, located on the top floor, is massive and caters to every budget and taste, featuring fast-food giants and regional favorites. However, the standout feature is the collection of premium standalone restaurants and cafes dotted across the mall's lower levels. • Signature Restaurants: These spots offer superior dining ambiance (often with outdoor seating) and are ideal for a leisurely lunch or dinner. • Cafes: Plenty of coffee shops make it a popular meeting spot for IT professionals during the week. Entertainment and Amenities Inorbit ensures visitors have reasons to stay beyond shopping and eating: • Multiplex: The large cinema multiplex draws significant crowds, offering a state-of-the-art viewing experience. • Gaming Zone: A dedicated gaming and entertainment zone is popular with families and teenagers. • Lake View: The mall’s open area and some restaurant balconies offer views toward Durgam Cheruvu (the Secret Lake), providing a pleasant contrast to the indoor hustle. Location and Logistics Its location in the heart of Cyberabad is both a blessing and a curse. • Pro: Extremely convenient for people in Madhapur, Gachibowli, and Kondapur. • Con: The area suffers from heavy traffic, particularly during peak office hours. Parking is ample but navigating the access roads can be challenging. The proximity to the Hitech City Metro Station is a major plus, offering an easy commute alternative. The Verdict Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad, is a polished, highly functional destination. It is the go-to spot for comprehensive retail therapy and diverse dining options in the western part of Hyderabad. The energy is high, the selection is vast, and the integration of a cinema and entertainment ensures a full day's outing. It maintains its status as a top-tier mall in the city.

Inorbit has always been one of my go-to spots in the city, whether it’s for a movie, shopping, or grabbing something to eat. The mall has a lively vibe with plenty of good restaurants and brand stores to explore. Plus, the location near Durgam Cheruvu makes it even better — we wrapped up the day with a quick visit to the lake, which was the perfect way to end the outing. Definitely a fun and chill place to hang out! 😄✨

Sri Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy Botanical Garden, located around 16km from the city center of Hyderabad, is a sprawling botanical garden nestled in the Hi-Tech city. Developed by the Forest Departments, this park offers a refreshing setting with its network of walking and jogging paths, making it popular among tourists and nature enthusiasts. The garden is home to a rich variety of plants, shrubs, trees, flowering plants, and medicinal herbs.
It is a good park to visit with the children and they have a huge playing area with a lot of equipment made out of metal in the sand. Also, there is a lot of greenery around with a lot of varieties of plants. etc. There are few adventure activities for the kids depending on the age and the kids would enjoy. The park is not very exhausting and not very big. So easy to cover in around one and one to one and half hour.

Shri Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy Botanical Garden is one of the most peaceful and refreshing green spaces in Hyderabad—perfect for morning walks, family outings, or simply disconnecting from city noise. The garden is vast, beautifully maintained, and offers a mix of natural forests, landscaped zones, and themed mini-gardens. One of the highlights here is the presence of peacocks. If you’re lucky, you can spot them roaming around freely, especially during early mornings. For visitors who want to explore deeper sections of the garden, there’s a 15-minute golf cart ride available. The staff takes you inside to areas that are otherwise a bit far to walk, and along the way you can see peacocks, bamboo sections, and several small themed gardens showcasing different plant varieties. The walking and jogging tracks are spacious and shaded, making them ideal for fitness lovers. The environment is calm, clean, and full of fresh air. There’s a serene lake inside, plenty of benches, and open spaces for families and kids. Parking is available near the entrance, and the entry fee is quite reasonable. Some areas could use better lighting and a few more dustbins, but overall the garden is well-kept and safe. The variety of greenery, peaceful ambiance, and the chance to see peacocks up close make this place truly special. A must-visit spot for nature lovers, photographers, morning walkers, and anyone looking for a relaxing green escape in the heart of Hyderabad

**A Refreshing Experience at the Botanical Garden 🌿** I recently visited the Botanical Garden and had an absolutely amazing experience. It's a *must-visit* destination for nature lovers—especially during the rainy season when the cool weather adds a special charm to the entire place. The garden is home to a variety of medicinal plants, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully labeled, making it both relaxing and educational. One of the highlights was spotting numerous peacocks roaming freely, adding a magical touch to the serene surroundings. For those who wish to visit often, annual passes are available. Some specific areas within the garden are reserved exclusively for annual pass holders, which makes them even more appealing for people who want a quieter, more private experience. The overall maintenance of the garden is excellent, making the visit comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you're a botany enthusiast or simply someone who enjoys spending time in nature, this place won't disappoint.

This is one of the best beautiful places in Hyderabad. However, it is crowded on the weekends. So better you plan it on weekdays. The biggest issue here is parking. If you park your vehicle on the road, it would be tow immediately, so be ready for this behaviour to be noticed by the Traffic police because the road there is narrow, even they can do nothing. This is a perfect place for spending good quality time with your family and friends. You often see a lot of families here than any friends because there are no Hide out. You have a lot of activities to do your number one. The moment you enter you will find a bear with elephants around it. A small pond. Then another pond onto your left hand side with open play area. You also can use a EM vehicle to take a round of the small forest, that is there. Please do go ahead and visit it before someone tries to deforest it. You have a butterfly garden, you get to see some peacocks. These are some rare scenarios. Not every time you would find them. You also have a small play area for kids with some kids related equipments and gym. You can also use the forest area for running, but be a little careful. We also got to see some kind of creepers. It is a very good picnic spot for the family.

This Botanical Garden is a magnificent retreat, offering a huge, refreshing green area nestled right in the midst of the city's hustle. For a nominal entry ticket of ₹50, it provides exceptional value as both a nature sanctuary and a community wellness spot. The garden boasts a wide and impressive variety of carefully curated plants, establishing a tranquil and educational atmosphere. It’s perfect for activity too, featuring a dedicated, long jogging track that encircles the grounds, making it ideal for runners and walkers alike. The natural beauty is frequently enhanced by the presence of peacocks, which wander gracefully and add an extra layer of spectacular beauty to the environment. A thoughtful inclusion is the open gym facility, which is well-maintained and smartly separated into distinct, designated areas for men, women, and senior citizens. This inclusive design makes it a welcoming spot for fitness enthusiasts of all ages. Overall, this Botanical Garden is a vital, well-curated piece of urban wilderness. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, nature, or a great outdoor workout.

GravityZip, located in Hyderabad, is a thrilling destination for those seeking an adrenaline rush. As the first indoor skydiving arena in India, it offers an experience that closely simulates outdoor skydiving. The facility features a high-speed wind tunnel that generates a vertical column of air, allowing participants to feel the exhilaration of freefall without actually jumping from an aircraft. While not suitable for the faint-hearted, GravityZip is popular among both kids and adults.
Gravity Zip is an exciting adventure spot in Hyderabad where you can experience zip-lining. It's a perfect place for thrill-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy the exhilarating experience of zip-lining over natural landscapes. * Carry comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the activity. * Ensure to follow all safety measures and guidelines provided by the instructors.

This is a simulated indoor skydiving experience. Its a vertical glass chamber / tunnel with fans blow out air at high pressure and if you have the correct posture (as instructed during the training session), you will experience flying but yes, it was really difficult for me, it is not at all as easy as it looks! There are professional trainers to help you learn to do it independently. There is first a training session of 30-40 minutes and then you can choose to fly for either 2 min or 4 min. For the 2 min flying, they charge 4000 and 4 min at 5000. A special suit, shoe and glasses will be provided.Typically the heavy blower will blow you 15-20 feet high based upon your skills to fly. You need to be less than 110 Kgs to participate. No surgery in the past 2 months. Pregnant women are not advised to take part..If you book online, you pay a little less than booking offline at the arena.. you can even book online while you are at the arena..

The top floor has a lot of very interesting artifacts used in contemporary tribal lifestyles, such as plowing and fishing, all very well labeled and interpreted. The Buddha Statue of Hyderabad is a monolithic structure located on an island in the middle of Hussain Sagar Lake. Accessible by boat, it is a prominent attraction in the heart of Hyderabad. The area surrounding the lake, known as Necklace Road, offers a vibrant mix of restaurants, recreational facilities, and parks. The statue itself is made entirely of white granite and stands as one of the most iconic monuments in the city.
The Buddha Statue at Tank Bund in Hyderabad is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of peace and harmony. Standing tall on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of Hussain Sagar Lake, this majestic monolithic statue of Lord Buddha attracts thousands of visitors every year. The statue, carved out of a single piece of white granite, stands 72 feet high and exudes a sense of serenity and spiritual calmness. The location of the statue adds to its beauty — surrounded by the tranquil waters of the lake and the glittering lights of the city skyline, it offers a breathtaking view, especially during sunset. The evening lighting around the statue and the reflection on the lake create a mesmerizing sight that captures the attention of everyone who visits. Visitors can reach the statue by a short boat ride from Lumbini Park, which itself is a pleasant experience. The boats are well maintained, and the staff ensures safety and comfort. Once near the statue, the calm atmosphere and the gentle sound of water make it a perfect spot for reflection and relaxation. The area around Tank Bund is also well developed, with parks, food stalls, and seating areas, making it a great place for families, friends, and tourists to spend time. The Buddha Statue is not just a monument but a representation of Hyderabad’s cultural heritage and peaceful spirit. A visit here leaves you refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected to the city’s soulful charm.

I recently visited the Buddha Statue in Hyderabad, and it was a truly memorable experience. The visit begins with a pleasant walk through Lumbini Park, which is clean, well-maintained, and offers a lovely view of Hussain Sagar Lake. From there, we took a short and scenic boat ride to reach the statue, located on a small island in the middle of the lake. The boat ride was relaxing, with cool breeze and beautiful views of the city skyline. As we got closer, the Buddha Statue looked majestic and peaceful, especially during sunset when the golden light reflects off the water. It’s an ideal spot for photography and quiet reflection. If you visit in the evening, don’t miss the laser show at Lumbini Park! It’s colorful, lively, and beautifully synchronized with music — a fun way to end the visit. The combination of the lake view, the illuminated statue, and the laser show makes for a magical evening experience. Overall, it’s a must-visit place in Hyderabad — a perfect blend of nature, culture, and relaxation. For boating we have charges depends on the boats you choose like speed boat or normal passenger boat
Achuth M — Google review
The Buddha Statue at Hussain Sagar is honestly one of the most peaceful spots in Hyderabad. The moment you see it standing tall in the middle of the lake, it gives you this calm feeling that’s hard to describe. The short boat ride to the statue is actually quite fun — you get a nice breeze, great views of the city skyline, and that little excitement as you get closer. Once you reach, the statue looks even more impressive up close. It’s massive, beautifully sculpted, and the whole place has a quiet, soothing vibe despite being right in the middle of the city. The area around it is clean and well maintained, and you can easily walk around to take pictures or just sit and relax for a bit. I’d definitely recommend going in the evening when the lights come on — the statue glows over the water and it looks absolutely stunning. It can get a little crowded on weekends, so weekdays or early mornings are better if you prefer it peaceful. There are small stalls nearby for snacks and drinks. Overall, a lovely place to unwind and a must-visit if you’re exploring Hyderabad.

Beautiful place to take family and loved ones, it was constructed in 1992, it is in an artificial island in waters of Hussain Sagar lake. To visit Buddha Statue one need to go Lumbini Park by taking a 20 Rs ticket and than again take ticket for Buddha statue ranging from 100 Rs to 500 Ra depending on the boat, speed boat costs more, normal boat that has capacity of 60 to 100 people. Scenery of roads around Hussain Sagar embankment is beautiful at night. It is Open till 8PM. Newly constructed Secretariat Building, Ambedkar statue, Birla temple looks amazing.

One of the best things you can do in Hyderabad is visit this statue. You can take a ferry from the boating point they have different types of boats. The best time to visit is during the night because the whole statue is lit up you can also get a really nice view of the city. Just keep in mind the boats are very crowded, and the water can be smelly and filthy.

Sanjeevaiah Park in Hyderabad is a huge park, spread over approximately 92 acres. It has vast open grounds, beautiful gardens, picnic areas, and well-maintained parks. There’s also an open gym and plenty of walking/jogging paths. The main attractions of the park are the picnic areas and the large Indian national flag, which adds a patriotic touch. However, there are some drawbacks. The toilet facilities are in very poor condition, and there are many stray dogs inside the park. Also, if it rains or the weather changes suddenly, there’s nowhere to take shelter. Despite these issues, it’s still a great place for families, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to enjoy open spaces and greenery.

Good place to spend decent evening with kids and family. Not suitable for stags. After all, Hyderabad lovers left this park for children and families. 😂 That being said a Child's Park, not such kids friendly activities and play ground is available. But vast garden ara is available for picnic celebrations and family gatherings. Maintenance is most required as the park looks not maintained well at some areas. The Telangana State Archaeology Museum, also known as the Hyderabad Museum, is housed in a Nizam-era palace and is one of the oldest and most esteemed museums in South India. It boasts an impressive collection of ancient artifacts including Buddhist sculptures, Hindu sculptures dating back to the 2nd and 3rd century, bronzes, Ajanta paintings, manuscripts, textiles, and even an Egyptian mummy. The museum's architectural beauty adds to its allure.
The museum offers an incredible collection of artifacts, including a fascinating mummy from Egypt and sacred Buddha relics. The range of exhibits is impressive, with a notable display of canons that adds to its historical richness. However, while everything is generally well-presented, the museum could benefit from some maintenance to enhance the overall experience. Despite that, it's definitely a must-visit for history enthusiasts! Ticket- 10₹ each Phone/Camera- 50₹ Timings 11:00 Am to 4:30 Pm

Post-1980 it started being called as Public Gardens.[5] The area of the park was 54 acres (220,000 m2) and included a 7 acres (28,000 m2) pond. Part of the land was given to the railways for building Hyderabad railway station. A portion of the garden was used to construct Jubilee Hall in 1905 and part of the pond was filled up. Gradually the area occupied by the garden reduced as several buildings such as State Legislative Assembly, State Museum, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Lalitha Kala Thoranam, and Telugu University were constructed. A large fountain existing in the public garden lawns since 1937 was demolished

A historic, Nizam-era building that now hosts the state archaeology museum, it hosts a famous mummy along with different artifacts from different eras of history of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. However, both the beautiful and historic building, as well as the artifacts in its collection, can be maintained better. It has everything from Hindu, Buddhist and Islamic relics, along with hero stones and inscriptions dating back to over two millennia ago, as well as an Egyptian mummy. It has an absolutely beautiful collection of Hindu deities in both metal and stone. It is a must visit for any history and culture enthusiasts in Hyderabad.

It’s a great place for a weekend visit. It is a small museum but has a good collection of items. It also has on display one of the only 6 mummies in Indian museums. It’s a mummy of a 16-18 ur old girl. There is a good collection of fresco paintings. Some good porcelain items and bidri work. Both Nepalese and Tibetan along with Indian bronze sculptures from Jain and Buddhist themes can also be found. Finally there is also a section of Islamic art which we couldn’t check because of shortage of time. And on your way out on the ground floor and outside in the garden there are some pillars, chariots, stone sculptures etc on display. If you visit this museum, within the same campus you can also visit the horticultural space and the public garden. Overall this is a great place to spend your weekends on. However, this museum is closed on second Saturday each month and on public holidays. And also closed on another day each week but that I cannot remember. Also, the entry fee can only be paid in cash. No online payment available.

manuscripts to different kinds of textiles, the Telangana State Archaeology Museum displays a variety of items of historical interest. The Museum also boasts of unique collections, such as the imitations of Ajanta Paintings, and is the only museum in the country to possess these. There is also a gallery of bronze artefacts, armour, stone sculptures, manuscripts, modern paintings, textiles, etc. In addition, the Museum also houses a separate gallery of Buddhist sculptures as well. There is also an extensive collection of Hindu sculptures belonging to the Chalukyan period and the Vijayanagara period. The Museum’s main attraction is a 2,353-year old Egyptian mummy, reportedly brought to Hyderabad by Nazir Nawaz Jung, the son-in-law of the sixth Nizam, Mir Mehboob Ali Khan, who had then donated it to the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan. He reportedly acquired it for a sum of 1000 British pounds. Recently the mummy was restored from damages through expert intervention. A copy of the Holy Quran with a seal by Shahjahan, the Mughal Emperor has also been kept here.

I revisited the TSAM after 15 years and the terrible state of the museum was deeply upsetting. While they have many treasures, clearly some on loan to museums globally, the absolute decrepit and deplorable state of the museum, their amenities is utter shame to the state. Right next door is the legislative assembly which is in ship shape, but clearly the powers that be don’t consider the heritage of Telangana and AP in its state museum worth their attention. The citizens deserve much better and need to demand better. There was no proper lighting display or climate control for the artefacts. The entire set up seems like it’s never been updated since the 1980s. The provenance and explanation boards are piece meal with no proper context. They don’t draw the visitors in, and give very little information. The curation is absymal. So many artefacts have dust on them, are corroding and just weathering away. Silver inlay work just peeling off of 19th C artefacts. There was a fresco from one part of the undivided state just lying openly in the humid air. There were display cases lying in dust as well in one of the wings next to beautiful inscription stones with again no context. The Ajanta replicas have holes in some of the canvases. There’s only one toilet functional. Disability access is far from anyone’s minds. The mummy when I last saw it still had its casing. Now you can see the bandages openly. The entire building is a heritage site, and should be treated like a jewel. The really kind staff needs to be trained better as well, paid better, and even the cost of the museum needs to be improved to be able to fund it There are excellent museums across India with budding talents educated in museology, arts, history, and their conservation globally. The Telangana state needs to draw the best of talent to make the museum a prize destination. I highly recommend the Islamic wing and the Ajanta wing. There’s a chughtai gallery that I hadn’t ever heard of before, and a whole ramp with paintings by S Khachadourian which need better frames and lights. Everyone please do visit the museum and make demands from the elected representatives to improve it.

The safari ride is for minimum 10 people and it was not that comfortable. Most of the time you will be able to see only deer as the name suggests it is murugavani park. You can see deer from the outer road as well. Plan to walk a little bit to explore the area and search for the animals and birds.

Mrugavani National Park is a peaceful getaway on the outskirts of Hyderabad, perfect if you want a short break from the city’s noise. The greenery around is soothing, and the view from the watchtower is quite nice. You can spot peacocks, deer, and sometimes sambar during the mini safari ride, though it’s a pretty short experience. It’s not a full-day attraction, but good enough for a calm stroll or a family outing if you’re around the area. Tip: Visit early in the morning or late afternoon for cooler weather and a better chance to see animals moving around.

It is a breathtakingly beautiful example of the architecture of Qutb Shahi. The Toli masjid is embellished by two minarets of about 20 meters on either side. It was constructed in 1671 by Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar, the known and renowned designer of Qutb Shah. The frontage of the Toli Masjid comprises of five arches, each of which consists of lotus decorations in the spandrels. The main arch is somewhat broader and more elaborate. As per the regal records, the Toli Masjid is also called as Damdi Masjid.

A Historical Masjid dating back to Qutub Shahi dynasty (approximately 350 Plus Years). Situated in Karawan area the main road towards Golconda Fort. Well maintained by the Waqf authorities.
Masood B — Google review
Toli Masjid is a historic mosque located in the Toli Chowki area of Hyderabad, Telangana. It was built in the year 1671 AD by Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar, who was a nobleman during the reign of Abdullah Qutb Shah, the fifth Sultan of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The mosque is known for its beautiful architecture and historical significance. The Toli Masjid is a stunning example of the Qutb Shahi architectural style, which combines Persian and Indian influences. The mosque is made of granite and stands on a raised platform, giving it a majestic look. The most striking feature of the mosque is its prayer hall, which is covered by a huge dome that is supported by four arches. The mosque also has two minarets, one on either side of the entrance. Inside the mosque, the prayer hall is beautifully decorated with intricate carvings and inscriptions from the Quran. The central dome is decorated with stucco work and features a lotus-shaped finial at the top. The walls of the mosque are adorned with niches and arches, and the floors are covered with marble. The environment inside the mosque is very peaceful and calming. The mosque is well-maintained and clean. The caretakers are friendly and welcoming, and visitors are encouraged to explore the mosque and take photographs. Overall, the Toli Masjid is a must-visit for anyone interested in history and architecture. It is a beautiful example of the Qutb Shahi style, and the peaceful environment inside the mosque makes it a great place to spend some time in contemplation and reflection.

The architecture of the masjid is worth appreciating, it's a gem hidden in plane sight. I've had some time to spare and spent each and single moment admiring it's beauty. The imam's congregation was beautiful. I'd have loved to see people from the community and the government give care and commendation.

Toli Masjid sits on the way to Charminar from Golconda fort. Not one of the most visited places, but the mosque is absolutely beautiful and is definitely worth a visit.

Located just 19 kilometers from the city center, Wonderla is a top-rated amusement and theme park in Hyderabad. Boasting over 43 exhilarating rides, it's renowned as the best water park in the area and offers an exciting day out for families. With its wide array of attractions, it's considered one of the must-visit destinations in Hyderabad.
Harini G — Google review
Rakshith V — Google review
Very good experience. Well maintained and organized. We went on public holiday. There are many rides. Waiting bit for elders is a bit high. For kids, waiting time on holidays is also not a issue but for elders it's very hard. Plan on week days and avoid holiday if you want to cover more rides. Book tickets online with unlimited buffet lunch. Lunch is good. Don't miss chiku 3D show and interstellar show; worth watching.
Girish K — Google review

We went on Dussehra Day..It’s a wonderful place to enjoy with family and friends… You have to try all rides…have to Go early at least by evening you will complete half..waiting will waste the time.. ex: Roller coaster and other dry Rides..some high slide water rides…All games are thriller games. Worth the money…don’t miss 9D Travel to space :Mars..

Such an amazing place to visit but a bit expensive but we enjoyed a lot here And the food in the galaxy restaurant especially was too delicious(unlimited veg and non veg.) Also the rides are amazing The train splash especially just don't miss it. And the lazy river and the river pool were amazing too. The overall experience was literally amazing.

It’s a nice place, but only for children. For adults, it’s probably one of the most boring places you can visit. Even for children, you can’t really say it’s the best. If you want something better, I suggest visiting the nearest mall. You’ll find the same games there, maybe even more. But anyway, it’s fine for kids. However, for adults, I clearly recommend not wasting your time here. First of all, the ticket price for children and adults is almost the same. We had a 3-year-old baby with us, and her ticket price was nearly the same as an adult’s, with only a ₹100 difference. Seriously, they're charging so much for kids too! Also, there were hardly any games for adults—just one water ride that lasted for a single round and stopped right after. And for that, they're charging ₹250 for just one round? I didn’t like this place at all and won’t visit again with my family. For anyone reading this review: Don’t waste your time here. You’re better off visiting the nearest mall—it’s more worth it for you and your family. The only good thing about this place was the fabric service and the staff. The staff was really kind and humble, which was the only reason we didn’t feel completely bad. Otherwise, it felt like a waste of money. Sometimes, you have to go through such experiences. Oh, there was one 12D show, which was nice. Apart from that, nothing else was really good.

Thrill City is a modern amusement and virtual reality (VR) park located on Necklace Road, near Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. It is one of India’s first technology-based theme parks, where visitors can enjoy both real and virtual rides. The park covers about two acres and has more than 50 attractions for all age groups. The main highlights are the VR roller coaster, flight and car simulators, 3D and 9D theatres, and water rides like the Splash Coaster. There is also a gaming zone with racing and shooting games, and a children’s play area. The park looks clean and well maintained, and the rides use advanced technology. Many families enjoy spending a few hours here because it offers safe fun for kids and teens. The location is another big advantage—it is easy to reach from any part of Hyderabad. The park usually stays open from 11 AM to 11 PM, which gives visitors plenty of time to explore. Food stalls and small cafes are also available inside. However, some visitors feel that the entry fee and ride costs are a bit expensive compared to the time or thrill level. During weekends, the park can get crowded, so waiting times for rides may be long. Also, adults looking for extreme adventure rides may find it a little mild. Overall, Thrill City is a fun and unique place to visit, especially for families and youngsters who enjoy virtual games, simulators, and light adventure in a safe and clean environment.

We visited this on a Saturday around noon. The place was pretty empty. Overall we were a bit disappointed. Some details below Pricing We took the 5000 rupees family package that gives around 6800 points. Each game is average 200 points. This seemed more expensive than what we spend in the malls. Indoor games 1) It has decent indoor arcade games but very close to what you will see in malls. They do have some good VR games like the VR roll coaster and high rise skyscraper walk. 2) There is a small area for little kids called Fun house. Outdoor games 1) There is a splash roller coaster which is fun but you will get wet. 2) Zipliner for little kids 3) pendulum rides for kids 4) small train The bumper car and flight simulator were not functional. Food 1) buffet is 900 rupees for adults upstairs 2) you can also order specific items. Food is average quality and seating is not great downstairs 3) the place had a cafe and other refreshment areas that have been closed We spent about 4 hours and the place had few visitors only. The Thrill City has a great name, location and concept but it fell short of our expectations. They need better games, improved maintenance on rides, open the dead cafe and better service

Thrill City provides a blend of modern VR attractions and classic amusement park fun,It features cutting-edge VR experiences, including roller coasters, zombie shooters, and flight simulators, transporting guests to fantastical realms, first virtual reality amusement park, offering over 50 engaging activities suitable for all ages. There was a cricket and football ground available too we can play at anytime.

Thrill city in Hyderabad is a complete waste of time and money. It’s hyped up as an adventure spot but is actually just a small arcade like the ones in malls. Most of the games don’t even work properly, and the few that do are outdated and boring. It’s also very expensive for what it offers, and even after buying an all-day pass, you still have to pay extra for some games. Overall, not worth visiting at all.
Movie N — Google review
Not so thrilled. Almost half of the main games were out of service. Not well maintained. Only thing we liked is it was very less crowded. Probably that was the reason. Children above 6 to 7 years will definitely get disappointed. The points given will also be insufficient and it's not worth buying more for the services provided.
Sandeer R — Google review
"Thrill City is an absolute blast and lives up to its name! This 5-star rating is for the incredible variety and quality of the rides and attractions. Visiting on a weekend was a fantastic decision, as the energy and excitement were contagious. The park has something for every type of thrill-seeker, from heart-pounding roller coasters to fun family-friendly rides. Everything is well-maintained and clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the overall experience is a perfect blend of fun and adventure. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush and a memorable day out!"

Jalavihar Water Park is a sprawling 12.5-acre amusement park in Hyderabad, offering an array of water games and slides for solo travelers, couples, and families with children. In addition to the massive wave pool and lakefront lawns, the park features numerous dry rides and a Rain Dance Shower where visitors can groove to their favorite tunes. Committed to safety and hygiene, Jalavihar provides clean water throughout the park.
Nice place to spend 3-4 hours. A separate pool for ladies and kids is also there. Separation at Rain disco for couples and women. The locker facility is on a payment basis. Jalavihar is one of the most fun and family-friendly water parks in Hyderabad! 🏖️ Located near Necklace Road, it’s easily accessible and perfect for a weekend outing with friends or family. But wave pool is not in perfect condition as you can many dust particles and naachu (green algae). Other water rides or not in good condition as we got stuck two times in between and they sent another person for same ride and collided in between and my sister got hurt badly. Now this is not in perfect as many water parks raising in and around Hyderabad

This is a good place to visit with friends on a low budget; however, the prices are a bit high considering the limited offerings. The experience is worth around 400-500 rupees, but it shouldn't be more than that. It’s definitely worth a visit, although there are only 5-6 activities available. The rain dance is enjoyable, especially with the DJ.
Gajanan T — Google review
You can spent entire day with your family here. It’s amazing and rejuvenate energy. One ticket for all water games and adventures ( 550 INR). But, while visiting better to be in night dress. They will give swim suit n charge 200 per head but very thin ( I won’t recommend for girls) so bring your own t shirts. we have fully enjoyed our day with cousins

Ticket price is moderate but maintenance is poor. Also limited rides. Not many things for family other than wave pool. Need to reach by own or hired transport. Good for bachelor

MANISH C — Google review
Jalavihar Water Park – Honest Review Jalavihar Water Park is honestly not up to the mark. The moment you enter, there is a strong, unpleasant smell that makes the entire experience very uncomfortable. It feels as if Hussain Sagar water is flowing inside the park — the smell is that unbearable. The water quality is extremely poor, and this can be risky, especially for children, as they may get affected by using such unhygienic water. There is nothing particularly exciting or enjoyable inside the park to justify the visit. Despite the appealing ambience in photos, the reality is very disappointing. I genuinely do not recommend this place. If you still feel unsure, you can visit once and experience it yourself — but from my side, it's not worth the money, time, or health risk. Better to look for cleaner and safer options.
