Well, for a peaceful breakfast experience, that's a dream if you are planning this place. Thanks to some influencer, you now have a waiting of 20 people and 15 minutes when you are visiting this place. Also, adding to the woes is the constant cacophony of fellow humans around you where u cannot sit in peace and enjoy your morning meal. Needless to say, idli was over by 9am. Food quality is OK, at par with some eateries in bangalore. We felt butter is very close to Amul butter which was a big turndown. You get homemade butter in devangere benne Dosa. They need to work on the right ingredients. Wood fire definitely infuses into the dosa, however I did not find this so special to invest my time in. These are my own opinions. Please do visit if you don't identify with the above factors. Do visit the Giri Coffee. They make nice jaggery coffee

Vinayak mylari dosa. Location > nazarbad. Mysore. There are two hotels with same name in same road, one is old ones and another is new ones with seating of around 40 to 50 people's. FOOD > Yu will get only one item in this hotel that is DOSA. Plain dosa and masala dosa . 60₹ excluding gst. TASTE> Yu will not get this type of dosa anywhere else. The dosa is too soft it will melt in your mouth. WAITING TIME> weekends yu have to wait for some time . The main customers here are the tourists. A must visit place in mysore for having dosa.

Mylari dosa is very famous in Mysore. It’s similar to benne dosa but the combination with vegetable sagu is so unique. The service is also very quick. People are filled in the morning. Had to wait for seat but we got the seat soon. We had two dosas but it became a little heavy for us. So filling so melting and satisfying. The idli was also so soft and we didn’t even had to chew the idli. It was just melting away. Coffee was also good.

We had a great experience in Hotel RRR Mysore. We tried Andhra style Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani as well. Both were delicious. Soft and ghee infused rice flavoured with subtle spices and meat that melts in your mouth. We also tried Chicken Roast, that has a unique flavor. Not sure what but tasted amazing. It goes well with Biryani rice. The place was nice and crowded. We literally stood in queue for 10-15 minutes just to get a table. Only thing that bothered me was the dinning space. It has created a reputation and the business is going pretty well but the dinning space is so small for the crazy crowd.

The much hyped RRR we tried today for lunch and I must say it did stand up to it. We orderes mutton biryani, chicken biryani and chicken roast. Mutton biryani was great, rice had soaked in all that flavour and with the salan, was just superb. The Mutton pieces were enough for one but the pieces I got was not that great but biryani was satisfying. Its not as spicy and masala like hyderabadi biryani. Nor too bland like malabari biryani. I would prefer Mutton biryani over chicken. Now the chicken roast was also really damn good. Their masala is different and tasty, not like ones you might find in other places. The bad part is the pricing. There is nothing below 250 in this place. Even veg meals is 250ish on par with non veg biryani and this is somehow not logical. They are looting in the name they have earned. Somewhere i feel its not right. The demand is high and I think things wouldn't change. However the food is good so letting it pass. I would come here again but not in my immediate next trip because of the rates. They can improve the wait outside the shop, the que is not organised. They can probably keep a person out and note the names in order to make it fair and avoid people fighting for spot.

Unfortunately this place is very overrated. The queue here is huge, the service is bad and people working here don't treat you like their guests. The food is okayish, I've had better food in mysuru. The biryani was already over when we went for lunch which was around 12pm. So with no other choice we had veg meals and non veg side dishes. The mutton roast was good but other than that everything else was very average. The food is not worth the money.

I had been here with friends for a lunch and another time for evening snacks. The restaurant is known for its pure vegetarian authenticity. Despite the bustling crowd, we patiently waited for a table, and the experience was well worth it. Ambience: gives you vintage vibes, now they have expanded there seating outside. Food Recommendations- we went there during lunch time so we ordered south meals, with chapati. It was tasty & worth the price. Evening snacks we ordered Bonda soup , butter masala dosa and panner manchurian. Bonds soup was mouthwatering yummy . It’s a must try. Service: As it was crowded during peak hours, but we got seat after 10mins n service is good. You will get ample parking space outside the restaurant . Overall, good experience.

The oota meals costed 105 rupees which just had one chapati, rice,sambar, rasam,dry vegetable,veg gravy(brinjal curry), curd,pickle,papad & sweet However, what really bothered me was the hygiene of the drinking water glasses. The first glass they brought had visible soap stains, so I asked for another — and this time, there was actually soap floating in the water. It wasn’t a one-off either; I noticed several glasses on nearby tables also didn’t look properly cleaned. I’m not sure how this is going unnoticed by staff or other customers, but it’s something the management seriously needs to address. Cleanliness is basic and expected, especially when serving drinking water. Hope they improve this, because otherwise it’s a decent place.

5 star all over for this place. Interiors are so simple and yet so pleasing . Their idly vada is to die for and try for. The idly was as soft as the moon kissing the sea and vada was as crispy as my back pain. This with their signature sambar and chutney. My oh my !!! Kesari bath was sweet and nice and has pineapple pieces too. Their masala dosa is always fresh.. Benne masala is their best seller and very crispy and nice with the potato bhajji. To end with and down all the flavours, the coffee is bloody brilliant. Strong hot and served with a lot of love. The staff is very friendly and attentive too. Must try when in Mysore.

I had a great experience at The Old House The pizzas are a must have. The espresso tonic coffee is really good as well. Also tried the pistachio rose raspberry cake - pretty good. The warm service and friendly staff were the cherry on top. Highly recommended.

Visited Old House Café in Mysuru today, and it was such a delightful experience! The place has a warm, cozy vibe — perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. We tried their pizza, pasta, and peach iced tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, making every bite worth it. But the real highlight of the visit was their pumpkin carrot cake — soft, moist, and full of comforting, homemade flavor. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. We went on diwali. It was packed, but got seating in 5 mins or so. Ambience and vibe: 5/5. Very cozy, happening and open. The sourdough pizzas are a must. We wanted a little more spice, so drizzled some of that inhouse chilli oil. We ordered verdue misti, had marinara sauce. It was so fresh and light. Loved the cook on the crust. Mushroom bites: the bites itself was super crispy, well seasoned and did not feel oily. The side that they have with this was slightly sweet, but we couldn't taste much of it because the seasoning on the mushroom crisps were salty and spicy as is. The side/dip didn't offer the relief we thought it would. The gelato: tasted more milky than berry. The cone was slightly more caramelized but went well with the milkyness of the gelato. Gelatos are usually so creamy, but due to the freezing: this one had crystalised. So missed that creamy mouth feel. Hazelnut gluten free dessert: the creme was too rich and dense. The cake itself, since it was gluten free, missed that moisture. Felt we could have been able to taste the chocolate and hazelnut better if the dessert didn't feel so dry. But overall, food tastes fresh and yum. I saw the brioche loaf and had to pack it. Fluffy ✨ total bill was around 2k. It was a nice lunch with brilliant service. Must visit. Because of these small Lil things, I have rated food as 4/5.

Oh My! So glad I got a chance to visit Oh! (The Old House) Cafè at Mysore! The ambience is super cozy, and takes us back in time to those old bunglow days and the grandeur! The food was delicious! Went with my boss and a colleague for dinner, had Masala Mafia Pasta and it was Oh so yummy! Their Heaven's 11 pizza was a delight, thin crust, soft,chewy and melt in the mouth cheese with veggie toppings were just right! We couldn't try their desserts, but their sorbet options are great! Loved it! And Oh, their service is excellent - ever smiling faces, warm gestures and prompt service is worth the money! And their "Captain Harish" is exceptional! So friendly, pro active and Patient! I Will be back here, soon!!!

Second time visiting the place. The brocolli soup and aglio e olio pasta were really good. The pizza, however, as it was a sourdough pizza, was actually really sour. I've had sourdough pizzas and this was definitely more sour than it should've been. It was just decent. The service was really good and the ambience was good as well. It's a bit on the expensive side.

We had dinner here. The ambience is lovely and definitely the highlight of the place, making up a bit for the very average food. The Mediterranean pasta was watery and completely lacked flavour, while the lamington was dry and stale. Would not recommend it for the food, but it is a nice spot if you just want to enjoy the atmosphere and have an overpriced drink.

We went here for breakfast. The dosa was sooo good. Idli and Vada were also good. The kesari bath I must say was the best. I loved the service and food. The place was anyway packed with people. I think this is the best place in Mysore for dosa according to me.

Sri Gayathri Tiffin Room is a nice stop if you enjoy old-style restaurants with a traditional feel. The system is prepaid and fully self-service. I tried masala dosa, poori, and tomato rice. The masala dosa was excellent and is the main item I would recommend. Poori was okay, but I didn’t enjoy the tomato rice. Tea and coffee were both good. The place has its own charm, but it would be even better with some upgrades. The rest area is not very clean, and the washing area also needs improvement. I visited while travelling from Bangalore to Calicut. In the early morning, parking is easy, but after 9 AM it can become crowded. Overall, it’s a simple and classic spot, and the masala dosa is definitely worth trying.

Good Self-service restaurant in mysore serving South Indian food items. Idly and vada, varieties of dosas, khara and kesari bath, rava Idly rice items are available. Famous for set masala dosa where in 2 medium sized masala dosa are provided with 1 with sagu and other with alu palya. Food is tasty. Rates are reasonable. Service is fast. Coffee and tea are good. It's definitely worth a try while in mysore. Open from 7am to 11.30am and again from 3.30pm to 8pm.

This is a old set up and I tried the Uddin vada which was bit cold and bit crispy, the Whitney and sambar was nice. Along side I tried benne masala dosa and I felt the taste was not great becoz of the batter(left the batter was not fresh) but the masala was nice. Given that it’s an old place it is not upto my expectation.

A neat hygeine restaurant, there is no table service which you need to serve yourself, just take a token and go to order taking counter and within minutes you will get your food, you should not wash your hands in plates. Do not smoke here. Wash basin and drinking water available Enjoy your meal.

The excellent staff service rather than the food defines the place . Though the food was also very good. Mr Raj went out of his way to make us feel welcome . Mr Balraj and Mr Gangadhar served us with speed and a smile also offered their recommendations Bhindi was excellent Steamed Rice sub par and did NOT meet expectations as it was not Basmati. A high end restaurant this should be offered at a minimum Tadka Dal was v good My friends rated the Mutton Biryani and Chicken Malai Kebabs 8 / 10 so great job done guys. However the mutton in the biryani was just adequate for one person so have an option in the menu for adding extra mutton pieces at a higher price On the whole, we had a lovely afternoon an enjoyed our lunch

3 stars Oyster Bay, Mysore – Great Ambience, But Food & Service Fell Short Visited Oyster Bay recently and had mixed feelings. The highlight was definitely the ambience – I chose to sit in the garden area at night, and the vibe was really pleasant. The outdoor lighting, greenery, and open-air setup create a calm and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxed conversations or a casual evening out. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The flavors felt underwhelming, and the overall presentation wasn’t impressive either. For a place with such a lovely setting, I was hoping for something more refined and satisfying on the culinary side. The service was quite slow and lacked attentiveness. It took a while for the staff to take our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. It’s a beautiful space, especially for evening visits, but there's definitely room for improvement in both food quality and customer service. Would recommend it more for the ambience than the dining experience.

Nice ambience. Food was good and service was excellent. Staff was very courteous and responsive. Even though the property is nice, washrooms are least maintained. The taps are broken, and don’t think that cost much to get it replaced.

Place and ambience was good but dissatisfied with the service waited almost 15 mins for a fingerbowl that too asked to bring nearly 4-5 times later went to washroom and did hand wash after that waited again for bill! Ambience is the only best part of the restaurant. 👍 We ordered Chicken Satay, American Chopsuey and Chilli Garlic Noodles. 😋 Chicken Satay had a fishy odor, i mean quite literally. It was good only because of the sauce that they gave with it. 🐟🍗 American Chopsuey should be in the desserts section, as the chopsuey sauce was too sweet. We had to mix the sauce from the Satay to give it some depth in flavor. 🫤 Chilli Garlic Noodles was kinda good. It was spicy, but I couldn't taste any Garlic. So, it's just Chilli Noodles. 🌶✅️🧄❌️ Not to forget the fishy odor again. 🐟 Are they using some used fish oil or something? Service was okay, just one waiter looking after everything. Not sure why. 🤷‍♂️ Overall, the experience was decent. 😐 I could have given a 3 star, but for the price and the Fine Dining vibe that they going with, I can't be generous.

Food: Prawn soup:5* Tandoori chilli chicken: 4* Fish Tawas and rawa fry: 5* Mutton chops: taste was good but the mutton was hard and fibrous. Good Biriyani. Prawn ghee roast: good taste but qty is not price worthy Uday and Madhu were friendly and helpful. Good place for a friendly get together.

We had our wedding and reception here and we absolutely loved it! The food is top notch! All of our guests loved the afternoon banana leaf meal, and our evening reception had lot of local delicacies. The venue is also so beautiful - the architecture and greenery makes it perfect for an outdoor event. Highly recommend checking out this place if you’re considering an event big or small!

Could do better in terms of the basic restaurant etiquette. Like filling water on the table, providing hand napkins/tissues when we seat at the table etc. Dinner - extremely slow service. Missing restaurant etiquette by the staff. Breakfast - food was good. Buffet spread was adequate but restaurant etiquette missing again.

Little disappointed that they don't have a la carte on weekends. Aside from that, it's was a great experience. The buffet did not disappoint. They had a nice selection of dishes covering a variety of cuisines.....soups, salads, Indian curries and breads, Chinese main courses, etc. The rasam was a blessing for my cold and sore throat. The gulab jamun tart was my favourite in the desert selection 😍. Oh and the panipuri cart in the courtyard was a nice touch. This was our second visit to this place and I am looking forward to discovering more good times and great food on the trail of the tiger 🐅

Average at steep prices. I found many local eateries more exciting. Food was tasty but average. Service is slow. The menu was (literally) assembled randomly, so we explicitely asked if a specific dish was a starter or a main. After confirmation as a main we ordered that dish which was minuscule only to learn from another waiter it was actually a starter. So still hungry now. The waiter suggested to reorder that same plate. Considering service and prices, we'd rather opt for some biscuits in our room.

Alright, it’s my mistake that I came to have lunch with my family even after reading few comments which will reflects in my experience as well. 1. Veg starters is a joke. Deep fried items, you can taste the stale oil on it. 2. Welcome drink have chilli so it’s depends if you like it or not. 3. Non veg starters are also oily items 4. Main course are very rich in crème or oil Which makes you feel heavy in first bite, most likely you will not go for second round. 5. Salads are sad 6. Papad are not crispy 7. Staffs keep forgetting the orders(table) 8. Chaat items are without salt, no taste 9. Dessert items are old and not of decent quality Overall for the amount you pay it’s not worth it. I had breakfast at Tiger Trail and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of items to choose from. The service was also very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The service here is extremely poor — I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The staff will make your experience frustrating, and the food quality is terrible. After a long wait, you’ll only end up wasting your money.

A must visit Indian/continental cuisine place in Mysore with a decent ambiance. We have tried both their veg and nonveg dishes and many of them are my favourite now.... Still I have craving for their Motton biriyani (one of the best in Mysore). Both chicken Mexican and Lamb stroganoff were amazing. The best thing is pastas can be constumizable on our likes. A well deserved 5star for the service they're providing.

Everything is good here except the food.the ravioli florentine was bland, penne arrabiata pasta was made with ketchup and the cold coffee was literally shit, it was made with water and had a fake syrupy taste. Their chesse chilli fries had no chilli whatsoever and their cheese was weird tasting. The only thing we liked there was their paneer tikka. Having said that their service and staff were nice they tried to make our experience better but unfortunately their food was just not good.

I’ve been going here often since three years and also, order online frequently. But whenever I’ve requested to customize my order, they do take the order but make the blunder despite written (online) and call instructions so many times it is unbelievable. They either blame their other staff or they blame me. And never a “sorry” has been uttered by any of their staff at all ever. Such indigence and arrogance in all of them. They never offered to correct their mistake by giving the original customized order. So much for the service. We come to eat and pay for it, where is the respect ? When couple of times I went alone to eat, their two staff members from the old place would be at the other corner look at me eat and smile and giggle for their own sweet entertainment. No values, no interest at all in being genuinely interested in treating ppl with respect and do their actual job. I did not come there to beg and eat. Show up with some values (for the staff) I have one or two photos but won’t be adding them for now.

I have visited 4-5 times always It was nice experiences.. We tried Paratha, Continental plate, lasagna and biriyani too.. Not much expensive too.. Paper babycorn, biriyani and Parathas were very good and Continental was avarage good.. Soups like cream of vegetables, spinach and basil is good. Staffs are very polite. A must visit place.. Fish & chips was amazing. Fish was very soft melting in the mouth. Quantity and Quality is worth based on the price.

I tried out chicken malai kabab, prawns and lamb main course, The food portion sizes for the main course were more than anticipated and the taste was also good.

Cozy café with great vibes and good food Loved the strong filter coffee — perfectly brewed! The dates & walnut cake was soft and delicious. We also tried the pizza, which was fresh and flavorful. The Alfredo prawns pasta was tasty but a bit on the dry side. Cold coffee and hot chocolate were okay, not the highlights but decent. The heritage setting and peaceful ambiance make this place feel like a step back in time. Great spot to relax and enjoy good food in Mysore.

The place offers on point aesthetics and food that needs major work! The staff is really warm and inviting however the food fails miserably! As seen in the attached photos, the place offers a heritage vibe with thick white walls and sun plays hide and seek through the window crevices ! If only they could lift their food game! Now to the main focus area of food, we had ordered two portions of English Breakfast, one portion of Asian Chicken Sandwich and two Mysore Filter coffee. To start with the sandwich, the filling was sufficient, however it was extremely salty! The English breakfast had less quantity and awful food. The sausages were served cold, the salami was wet, the mushroom did not have any taste, the breads were served without butter and the baked beans were over the top sweet. Only one sunny side up was served and that too was burnt! The only positive in our order was the Apple pie, which was really good!

Visited this quaint cafe on a Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast. The ambiance was calm and welcoming, a nice spot to unwind. We initially wanted to order sandwiches, but unfortunately, the bread hadn’t been baked yet. Several other menu items were also unavailable, so we settled for filter coffee, mocha, and a brownie. The coffee was good, but the brownie was quite disappointing. It was dry and tasted a bit stale, possibly a day or two old. Service was also on the slower side, so I’d recommend visiting only if you’re not in a hurry.

From the outside, this place resembles a mini palace. The ground floor serves as the café, while the upper floors are used for stays. It’s located inside the Green Hotel, but there are no boards or clear signs on the road, which makes it a little hard to find. The ambience and environment are excellent – 5/5. The food is good as well, though slightly on the expensive side.

I honestly didn’t think my experience would turn out so great. I wanted to have pasta and I didn’t see pink sauce pasta in the menu so I asked the staff and they said they can do it.I have been in Mysore for 11 years and has had pasta in most of the places I go and this was the most fabulous pasta I have had. We had apple pie that was so marvellous it still makes me want it. Although we had filter coffee and Darjeeling tea, the pasta was the main star of that evening. When I left my review with the chef, her face glowed up with a smile. Not like the smile that we see but with a smile of kid getting a chocolate. Even though the building is old and peaceful this cafe surely does give a new experience

Reminds me of something dead trying to be revived. A perfect place where quality is inversely proportional to cost. ( bad quality high price ) The pizza was bland , wrong sauce and flavorless. My kids (3 and 5) took four bites and that was it. Watermelon salad I ordered had more seeds to take out which consumed half of our time. Mysore filter coffee was good but we made sure to tell staff what type of coffee we expect. Place has good ambience where you can sip coffee and read a book. Not a place to go with kids if you expect good food. The jackfruit cake was the only savior .

When I visited Mysore for the first time, I searched Google for a good non-veg breakfast spot. After reading reviews, I thought I’d found the perfect place. People mentioned the food was spicy, which excited me as a Telugu person. I arrived at the restaurant and ordered paya, idli, ghee rice, and chicken. The food was decent but not outstanding. Despite the reviews, it wasn’t spicy at all—completely bland, in fact. While the dishes weren’t bad, they didn’t impress either. The food lacked spice, but the prices were fiery.

Went to Tegu Mess around 7 AM. The soup was subtle and amazing! Idli was good too. Gravy had too much masala for our taste those who like strong flavors might enjoy it.

If you’re after bold, old-school flavours, Tegu Mess delivers. We ordered the mutton kaima meal(₹300): three plump kaima unde in rich gravy but the unde itself was a little underwhelming, unlimited pulao rice/white tice, and a hefty plate of pepper chicken with the chicken meal(₹300), generous enough for two. The ragi mudde for us was replaced with ghatte idli’s on request, which was pillowy and great to eat with the gravy they served. Food arrives fast, spices punch hard, and the bill stays light. That said, I’m not a big fan of how the place is kept—tables and floors can feel a bit unclean and unkempt, especially during the rush. Worth it for the flavour-to-price ratio, but expect to sacrifice some comfort. Parking is a little difficult to find, so park elsewhere and walk to the place.

Hyped restaurant. Got mouth ulcer after eating from here. Any home based hotel serves better food than here The waiter confuses like anything and is not transparent about the pricing. We asked what does one get in mutton meals, he said liver is included and then charged for 2 meals. In meals, he gives more of rice and just 3 piece of non-veg. Eating more carbs and charging more price is totally unjustified. Very cramped up seating area. The taste is below average than a foothpath non-veg shop. Will not recommend to visit this place.

I am very disappointed on their pricing vs food. The taste was decent and the pricing was very high (340). If you want to have a good mutton food, i suggest to go to Hotel Hanumanthu.

Situated inside Siddharta Hotel, it's a casual place for quick meals and refreshments, moreover if with family. Food is decent, maybe we didn't get to taste the best. The service is at par with really humble servers and staffs.

It has got ample parking space which is one of the upside apart from that ambience including service and taste of food is average. Surprised to see old utensils and glasses with scale formation in this restaurant. Not recommended until and unless it’s highly required.

Food was very oily and not prepared well. We ordered gobi manchurian and chola bhatura. Gobi was bad and chana bhatura was extremely oily. Not even garnished properly. It was also overpriced. Definitely not worth it.

Hotel Review: Extremely Disappointed by Staff Behaviour I recently stayed at Siddharth Om Shanti, and while the property itself was decent, my overall experience was completely ruined by the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff—particularly the waiter at the in-house restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the waiter seemed disinterested and irritated. He barely greeted us, didn’t bother to explain the menu properly, and acted as if serving us was a burden. When we politely asked for some recommendations, he responded curtly and with visible annoyance. Later, when we pointed out a mistake in the order, instead of apologizing or correcting it, he argued with us and displayed a shockingly bad attitude. Hospitality is supposed to be the backbone of any hotel, but clearly, that’s not a priority here. The management seriously needs to train their staff on basic manners and customer service. I’ve stayed in budget hotels with far better staff than what I experienced here. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and respectful environment. Until the hotel addresses its staff’s behavior, especially the waiters, I would advise others to look elsewhere. Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) Only giving 2 stars because of the location and cleanliness—but the service was absolutely unacceptable.

Not recommended, especially if recommended by taxi drivers to people visiting Mysore. Not very clean. AC room is not different from normal hall. North Indian dishes taste horrible.

This is a theme based restaurant situated near the Mysore palace. The starter and the main course is good. I really liked the ambience. Although the waiting time is quite high there, you may call for table reservation.

It's really to experience something innovative. We were staying at the Pai so it was only a change of floor to get to the restaurant. Seating can be a little more comfortable but overall it was a good experience. The staff is excellent, service is quick, food is good but can be a bit spicy.

The restaurant has a very intriguing and well-done setup — truly an interesting place. I honestly didn’t expect the food to be this good, but it exceeded my expectations! We tried the chef’s special, and it was beautifully prepared — easily the best food we’ve had in Mysore.

I won't recommend the place if food is the only thing you are looking for. The food is decent, and can even feel overpriced for the taste. The vibe of the place is really good. Although, the staff is really cooperative and humble, their service is slow. Restrooms are hygienic as expected at such a place. North Indian food is not recommended at all. Fish dishes are highly recommended. Try to avoid paneer ones. The paneer didn't feel as good as expected.

This restaurant has my heart for many years now. Though the food seems expensive, the ambience here, the staff, live singing and music along with birthday wishes for the day melts us. We visited for my wife's birthday this time. She was made to feel even more special with their complimentary cake, wishes from the staff, singer. Kids enjoyed a lot here with a scooter on display, a cart to take pics on, the swans and play area. Loved our visit this time after many years, maybe more than a decade.

Good ambience and good service. However, we faced sanitation issue at restaurant due to house flies - that too large in numbers. We couldn’t actually enjoy the atmosphere as we were busy getting rid of house flies from our food and our baby. They could have easily taken measures to control the flies, however staffs accepting the presence of flies was quite surprising. How could you enjoy the food and place, if flies were sitting all over you table, food, clothes and everywhere?

Le Olive Garden was very good. It was like the American Olive Garden and you should try the place. There was various peoples from kerala to all over India. I ate Mac and Chese From Le Olive Garden. And it was a Chef's kiss. That's all I have to say.

Le Olive Garden restaurant was really nice, beautiful and peaceful place in lush of greenery in Nazarbad near Golf club next to Chamundi hills. We went to this place to had our dinner. We had mutton matka biryani worth of Rs.595/- , butter chicken masala worth of Rs.475/- , chicken tikka original worth of Rs.360/- Trip to paradise beverage worth of Rs.275/-, choice canned juice worth of Rs.95/- butter naan chicken etc . The taste was amazing and worth to eat. The ambience was top class with outside sitting surrounded with pond water and duck floating around. Multi-cuisine restaurant with variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.The staff were the first good impression we got. They were super helpful and attentive to us and they were very kind and efficient. The food quality also very tasty delicious and hygenic with good service. the dish which are must try's! The taste and service was exceptionally wonderful. Definitely would recommend to anyone who's visiting! Best place for family and friends.

One of my favourite places to eat in Mysore. Great place for vegan options and healthy alternatives. All the food is freshly prepared with high quality ingredients and taste delicious. Particularly enjoyed the vegan apple pie, pesto pasta and coffees.

The vibe is right and the food is delicious. Relaxing The smoothie I had was SUPERB, with spirulina and chia, and delicious array of fruits. There is like two pages of smoothie options, so it will take me some time to try them. ☺️ I also had the oatmeal, which was a beautiful presentation for a simple dish. ✨ Looking around, I see they also have a very nice artisan bakery, with a whole menu to choose from, about half of which must be pre-ordered, and baked fresh. Their sourdough is naturally fermented, without added yeast (even the pizza). I am curious to try the organic ragi loaf! 😋 As a health conscious vegan, I am very happy to have stopped in, and will return! One thing I would love to see added to the menu is a ragi porridge, as an alternative to the oatmeal. Thank you for the beautiful breakfast!

Such a beautiful and good people out here who works , they customize the cake for me same day gave the delivery , I visited 5-6 bakery in mysore before this place not able to find guilt free Cake, use all natural sugars with dates good quality and a healthy cake. I must say you should try. I also try the Mysore Pak made with organic besan, desi ghee and jaggery everything I tried here I don’t feel guilty about it glad I found this place 🙏🏻

A gokulam classic that I'm happy to say has maintained its excellence. Their thali is in my opinion the best in the area. Delicious and wholesome. The smoothies are rich and well done. The pizza pesto is fab! Lovely food, great fresh flavours and wonderful service. At times food can take time, just some times as it is made fresh.

Absolutely delightful place to try some delicious and traditional cuisine from Karnataka. It is a pure vegetarian hotel, so if you're like me (look for green dot and pure veg on hotel boards while traveling) you'll be sure to love the experience. Sit down cross-legged and pick from their delicacies, ranging from paddus, dosas, shevige or the combination in their heritage platter. Their payasa is out-of-the-world yummy! The staff is as non-fussy as the ambience. The prices are very affordable (compared to what we paid for less tasty food in other places). The husband and I washed down the heritage platter with a glass of majjige (no pics of the majjige sadly) each. Spicy - just the way we love it! We'll surely come back to this place the next time we're in Mysore.

Home food, good food.Traditional Brahmin style of cooking, healthy wholesome meal. If you are a vegetarian, this place is a must go. Lunch & Dinner served on banana leaves. Cannot forget the Gojju Avalakki they serve. Price wise, I cannot say they are reasonable nor are they expensive. You may find similar restaurants with reasonable pricing. Overall a very good experience.

It was a below average experience for me The ambience was poor, there is both indoor and outdoor seating, the taste of the food was average for the price we pay! But the service was good! They serve food in banana leaf which was great! They have special menu on Wednesday and special holidays and also kids oota is there!

Very nice home style food. Must try on Mysore visit. Ola or Uber can take you to this place without issues. Enjoy traditional sit down in a clean and neat environment. Tuesday closed and only vegetarian (no onion and no garlic food is served). Reasonably priced.

The channa masala of the channa batura was spoilt. Instead of a simple apology and cancelling it, The waiter checked at the kitchen and had the audacity to say the Kabuli channa colour is black and is spoilt. The rotten smell was quite eminent. Finally, after speaking with the manager, it was cancelled. Overall service was not good. They treat the floating tourist customers so shabily, probably managing since no other restaurants nearby.

Parking: Parking is a challenge considering the location. Ambience: Pathetic, there is nothing called cleanliness, was highly disappointed to see such a legacy restaurant going down in maintenance and service standards. A good wash of the floors and the tables is highly recommended to the management. Service: Was quick and good Food Taste: We tried the following items Butter Ghee Roast – there was no ghee used at all Onion Dose – it was literally burnt / charred Channa Batura – the oil was no drained at all, the batura served was dripping with oil Coffee – was good Kharabath – it was a left over served hot Pricing: Price of all the items are super expensive. My Verdict: Kindly do not visit this place considering the cleanliness, cost, I do not recommend. There are plenty of restaurants serving good quality food at a much lesser cost. We visited the place on our mysore visit , was bit crowded during afternoon. We order both south indian and north indian thali South Indian was pathetic rice was completely soda and palya or vegitables were so taste less ...... No sweet in it all Coming to Mysore being in south indian they could have atleast served south dishes better........ North Indian was comparatively better including tomato soup, cham cham roti , kulcha , 3 types curry, salad, palav and papad.. But while giving the bill when we asked for QR code they told to pay downstairs instead they could have provided there itself it would be easy for all.

Visited the cafe yesterday, They had a lot of veg snacks and tiffin items but taste wise i didn’t liked it at all. We order a Aloo Tikki, they served a rotten potato with dahi.. they didn’t changed it even after complaint. We order samosa and pav bhaji also, which is pretty average.

One of the oldest restaurant at mysore!! All foods are tasty 😋 we tired Mysore Masala Dosa, Basundi, coffee. All are delicious 😋 they have variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes.! Must try..!!

Bopy’s definitely did not stand up to the level or the hype it has garnered in its ratings. A very hip and happening place, where the vibe is real, but the food is average. It offers a local bar often found in southern parts of India, like setup, in middle of someone’s courtyard under the shadow of trees The best part was that they have multiple seating areas, clearly segregating smoking, non smoking areas. But when it came to the food, we were left a bit disappointed. Starting from the garlic peanuts, to the famous fire pork and mutton tawa fry. Nothing landed as a dish which could have blown us away. The fish tawa fry was a bit underdone, we felt! The garlic peanuts lacked that basic salt and even the fried garlic lacked punch! The fire pork was also very very ordinary. On top of that the waiter served us some incorrect order which was later added on to our bill! To sum it up, visit to Bopy’s was an average trip definitely not living upto the hype it has garnered!

Nice little spot for some really good food. The kidney and liver was excellent! We also liked Akki roti with the coorgi chicken curry, coorgi pork masala and the mutton chops. Good service and a good place to have a drink and some good food.

Came here for lunch. There was some furniture work going on and the sound was soo annoying. Coorg Chicken had no salt and tasted average. Mutton Pepper Roast was ok ok. It's just boiled mutton with some tempering. Only saving grace was the Lemon Soda. Suprised to say, we came here for a hearty coorgie meal but ended up leaving hungry than before.

A place we often go to have a relaxed time with the gang. Their food depends on the cooks mood ( no kidding) being a regular at this place we have ordered the same dish multiple times and every time it tastes different. It's good but don't be suprised if you get something half cooked or burnt. The service is SLOW. Go when you have ample of time and patience. Their pricing is decent.

Dropped by Bopy’s Restaurant Bar & Pub, and wow 😳 didn’t realize “full plate” now means “snack portion.” If that’s full, I’d love to see what half looks like , maybe a spoonful? For the prices they charge, you’d think they were serving gold flakes. The food’s strictly average, nothing to justify the bill shock. Dear owners, a little heart and honesty wouldn’t hurt. Until then, save your money and your appetite plenty of better places around.

Good food, good vibe and i like the portion size options half and full plates. Taste usually fluctuates but still it's one of those go to places which serves quality food without compromising on the taste.

Below average food. Quinoa salad hardly had any quinoa. Pumpkin soup was terrible. Service was quite slow inspite of only one table being occupied. Place not well maintained.

Rasadhatu is truly a hidden gem, an organic restaurant with a very healthy and interesting menu that offers some old-school dishes. The place was filled with foreigners in the late afternoon when I went, giving it a unique vibe. It’s a little pricey, but I enjoyed the Palak Paneer Pakoda and Veg Biryani.

I recently visited your restaurant, drawn by the promise of healthy and natural food. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the Chef's Special Paneer Spinach Pakora, but it did not meet expectations. The dish lacked flavor – it was mostly just batter inside. When I brought this to the staff's attention, I was told that "this is how it’s prepared," which was disheartening and dismissive of customer feedback. We also tried the Pumpkin Soup, as it came recommended on the menu, but sadly, the taste was underwhelming and not enjoyable. Overall, the experience left much to be desired in both food quality and customer service. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your dishes and the way feedback is handled. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend the place to others.

We went at around 1:45 for a late lunch. Service was quick and accurate with our order. We ordered two spinach+walnut+pomegranate salads and they were delicious. Great proportion of cheese/walnuts/pomegranates. We also got the hummus platter with veggies/bread and that was good too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a western cafe in the area. I also got the lemon ginger tea, and it was fresh and tasty as well:)

RasaDhatu is probably one of the best places in Mysore to have some delicious food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super relaxed and chill, I could spent hours here enjoying all the tremendously tasty items on their menu. Staff is super friendly, attentive and makes you feel welcome. The food is innovative, progressive and traditional all at the same time. Get your taste buds ready to be tickled. Wow! This was one of the most amazing and unexpected surprises. We were looking for a quick lunch stop on our way back from Kabini to Bangalore and saw good reviews. Although empty, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff incredible - they could not stop making us feel welcome. The food was absolutely amazing, every plate cooked from scratch with the freshest most healthy tasting ingredients. Some dishes were pure genius such as the Spinach Paneer Pakora. The salads and juices were to die for. All in all one of the best meals I've had recently and so well priced. (And excellent COVID precautions, felt very safe)

We went into the old Mysore area, and we realized it is the one we wanted to go. Nevertheless we had Mutton pulav and chicken pullav. Quantity of rice is large enough for two people. Mutton/ chicken pieces are limited. In my Mutton pulav I got some ' boti' pieces which I did not relish. Ambience not too good. Place is cramped . Pricing was very high -for the ambience and quality

We visited Old Mysore to try the OG mutton pulao, but the experience was underwhelming. We ordered both mutton and chicken pulao. While the rice quantity is generous and easily sufficient for two, the number of meat pieces was quite limited. The ambience was disappointing—cramped, crowded, and lacking comfort. Pricing felt very high compared to the quality and setting. On top of that, there’s no proper parking around the place, adding to the hassle. Although it’s one of the crowded spots in the area, it really did not live up to the expectations.

The Original Hanumanthu Hotel claims to be the OG, but the experience was far from it. The food was very disappointing—bland and nowhere close to the hype. The place has zero maintenance, shabby interiors, and lacks basic cleanliness. For the price they charge, it is absolutely not worth it. Definitely would not recommend.

Assuming it to be very well-known and carrying a legacy, as portrayed on YouTube, we visited this place for lunch. The restaurant is quite old and its age reflects clearly in the walls and ceiling of this pigeon-cage-sized eatery. Unfortunately, the place has many cons and very few pros. Cons: The space is extremely small. If someone tries to get to a seat, there’s a high chance of stepping on another person’s feet due to the almost non-existent walking passage. The seating arrangement is very congested and uncomfortable. Although the food is served very quickly after placing the order, the so-called pulav was not hot. The rice practically lacked any flavour. The Mutton Pulav had 4–5 pieces of mutton, out of which 2 were rib pieces. Only the rib pieces were well cooked, while the remaining solid pieces were too hard to eat. Considering the price of one plate, the overall quality is below average. The only good thing was the quantity of rice, which is so large that many people will find it difficult to finish. Overall, I didn’t like this eatery much, and in my opinion, it is overhyped.

I recently visited this hotel with a colleague, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The hotel was extremely crowded, which made it difficult to find a seat. The vehicle parking situation was chaotic, and the seating arrangement inside was uncomfortable due to the tables being placed too close together. Only two people could sit and eat comfortably at each table. The service was slow, and it took almost 15 minutes for anyone to attend to us. We were not provided with hot water, which was a basic expectation. The food was a letdown as well. The chicken biryani was subpar, and the mutton biryani had unevenly cooked meat. The hygiene standards were also not up to the mark, with the floor and tables not being cleaned properly. Given the crowds and poor service, it seemed like the hotel was more focused on running a business than on customer satisfaction. The lack of side dishes was also noticeable. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my recent experience.

Not as Expected I had high expectations after hearing a lot about the legendary Hanumanthu biryani, but the experience was quite disappointing. The place was overcrowded, and hygiene standards didn’t seem well-maintained. The biryani lacked flavor and freshness — it didn’t live up to the name or reputation. The staff seemed rushed, and service was not very attentive. The prices are reasonable, but overall, it felt overrated compared to what you actually get. Definitely room for improvement in both taste and cleanliness.

The food is delicious. The mutton palav tastes even better when mixed with the gravy provided. The mutton chops is also good. Parking is a headache, and the shop was very crowded. We waited almost 20 minutes to get our food after being seated. It's a must visit spot if you're a foodie and visiting Mysore.

Except the atmosphere everything is good. Don't expect Wedding, Hyderabadi, or Natti style briyani.. it's a Pulav, but it's yum. Unique flavour, I would recommend just stick with the Pulav with few well know sides, as the sides are not great. Better opt for takeway and eat it in your hotel or outside. Service is good for the place, we didn't expect more from them other than a nice mutton and chicken pulav and its worth the hassle for this time.

We reached around opening time, which is approximately 12:30 PM, and managed to get a seat quickly only because we were already waiting outside. The restaurant is famous for its authentic non-vegetarian dishes, particularly the iconic Mutton Pulav. We tried it, and one portion was more than enough for two people. The pulav was served piping hot, flavorful, and on the spicier side, accompanied by raita and a curry. Besides pulav, they offer a wide range of chicken and mutton dishes, maintaining strong local flavors. However, vegetarian options are almost nonexistent, so it may not be suitable for vegetarians. Overall, Hotel Hanumanthu is a good place for anyone wanting to enjoy traditional Mysuru-style non-veg food at affordable prices, provided you don’t mind the crowd and simple setup.

If you manage to find a parking spot, you’re lucky enough to get into this restaurant. The interiors have an old style ambience and the space is quite tight to move around. The restaurant extends to the first floor as well. Food is served on dry plantain leaves and service is pretty quick. I tried kushka with chicken pepper dry and mutton chops, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Overall experience worth visiting again.

Had ordered mutton palav, it was very good with tender pieces, chicken kabab and mutton chops were also good. Rice quantity is more, sufficient enough. The food at this restaurant was scrumptious, especially mutton biryani. We tried mutton biryani and mutton fry, both were yumm!! Service is good but they took time in serving mutton biryani as they said they had to bring it from somewhere else, may be another branch. Ambience is ok not that great. Crowd was there during our lunch time.

Food was very good. The staff is very pushy and kept changing what we want to order. I understand doing little bit is okay but it got very annoying. Mushrooms did not have any spices and tasted very bland. Overall would not recommend for veg.

I tried delicious Andhra-style unlimited meals served on banana leaf. The veg thali includes rice, sambar, rasam, dal, palya, kootu, huli kootu, curd, sweet, 2 papad, pickle, and dal powder—available in generous single-serve and more options. Special mention the sweet you can eat twice. Vegetarians can also enjoy flavorful veg biryani (medium spicy), alongside comforting vegetable stew, all at reasonable prices and with traditional charm. They had non-veg dishes, especially the famous spicy Andhra-style chicken and mutton biryani served with raita and salan. The aroma, tender meat, and strong flavors make it a must-try for biryani lovers. Apart from biryani, the hotel also serves tasty chicken fry, mutton fry, and other side dishes that pair perfectly with rice.

Had the mutton biryan (Mughal style i guess) with chicken 64 and honestly, it was amazing. The biryani was super flavorful and the mutton just melted in the mouth. Chicken 64 was crispy, and really addictive. Portion size was debatable for the price, but enough to fill me up. Totally enjoyed it and would love to order again

The best south indian food I have had so far. The staff was very helpful and active. Had veg thali. Everything on the plate was perfect. Including the rice. I typically don't have rice but probably I had a one months rice in one sitting. The server noticed that I was not a south indian and quietly she slipped a spoon so that I don't have to use my hands. She also told me to take some powder and use it with rice to enhance to flavour. All this without speaking the same language. She was speaking kannada and I was speaking Hindi. But she understood and I understood. Thanks. A great meal and a great end for the day.

Hotel RRR is always super crowded we had to wait for at least 30 minutes to get a table, and even after that, the service was a bit slow with limited items available. But all of that was worth it once we tried the mutton biryani honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and a must try if you’re here...

Biriyani tasted good but could have been more spicy. The quantity was ok enough. The wait time was horrible. Took us 2 hours to get a seat. Too crowded on weekends.

Restaurant is pretty decent. Good ambience, lots of greenery inside. However food is average - not excellent nor bad. Breakfast and meals are ok. Chats are not great. They can serve coffee / tea is a cup than glass - as its difficult to hold piping hot coffee in a full glass. Service is ok, excellent location, limited parking for 4 wheelers.

I overlooked the branch close to me and came here. Good thing I did because the items we ordered were served quickly and tasted good. Prices were reasonable for th reputation and the weight their name carries in Mysore. Filter Coffee was strong as it should be without being too bitter. Onion dosa was good, onions were cooked enough for my liking.. I personally don't like Kurma or the Sagu that is served.. Coconut Chutney was more than enough to accompany the nicely prepared dosa. My wife went with Rava Idlis, which looked more whiteish than the ones I have seen before. Seems they don't overload their idlis with coriander and carrot etc.. The ambience could however use some cheering up.. Staff that serves us were friendly and attentive..

Food is average. Presentation , cleanness, atmosphere is good. There is aquarium, kids like watching colourful fishes in it South Indian, north Indian, Chinese vegetarian food is served here. Deserts also available.

The location is an attraction of this restaurant. The taste is acceptable and not usually crowded except on the mornings of weekends or a holiday. Pure veg and the seating arrangement is spacious. Food will be served to the car as well incase of shortage of seats inside or on request. Not over priced but found a delay in serving the order. It becomes a little uncomfortable when the people waiting comes and stand next us waiting for us to leave ASAP. There could be seats arranged for those people and even the staff should make sure this shouldn't happen. On complaint, the gesture of the staff was as if it aint a matter to worry.

We visited this restaurant recently with team members of 20 pax's. Everything is perfect right from service to food. Excellent part is they service the food so quickly. Whatever we ordered everything is yummy. Ambience is so good perfect place for photo clicks. Enough parking place and very close to infosys road. Definitely kid's will enjoy bz slide, seasaw and other playing item's were there. So overall it is a good atmosphere.

Neer Dosa with Mangalore style egg curry is too delicious. Fish fry and Prawns tawa fry was too costly I paid 650 for fish fry and 550 for prawns So total 500 to 650 per person. I met one guy from Meghalaya forgot his name he was talking in Kannada i sincerely appreciate him for his dedication in learning local language. Food and service was great but people were smoking near lawn which is really not acceptable they should give separate space or tell them to go out for smoke. Small kids and children's were having food and other side people were smoking 🚬 But I liked all of the foods here they should give separate dedicated place for smoking.

Utilised the Zeon Charging facility in front of the Hotel/Restaurant. The 120KV charger was working at close to 50KV capacity as two EVs were being charged simultaneously. But the charging time was good, and the charging did not stop abruptly as I experienced at another charging location. Having a restaurant to go to while the car was charging was good to have as well. We had some snacks and Tea/Coffee while the car was charging.

We had a group dinner. I loved the ambience. The open-air seating is definitely worth it unless it starts raining, with the screen adding to the charm of the restaurant. I was watching India England Test series while waiting for the seats and food. The kids have a good play-area with swings, slips etc and it is a good time pass for them. The food was indeed good. I especially liked the Fish Koliwada out of the dishes we ordered.

The place is located on the ring road, and it has a good parking space. The food is delicious, and the service is acceptable too. It has a lawn, a small children's park, and a decent dining space as well. The place is good for parties, and gatherings, and for a casual hangout too. Some dishes are a little spicy, so do mention your palette beforehand.

The staff seemed completely unorganized and were struggling to manage the crowd. Orders were repeatedly mixed up and delivered to the wrong tables. To make matters worse, we were overcharged on the final bill — only after pointing it out did they correct it. The atmosphere in the hotel was also quite unpleasant, with flies all over the plates. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Kamat Restaurant offers a delightful array of food options that are both very good and incredibly tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and variety available. However, one aspect that stood out was the use of soda in the rice preparation. While the food was unlimited, the soda made the rice quite filling, even with small portions. On a positive note, the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience overall.

Located on highway leading to Nanjangud/ Bandipur. Food is ok, service was ok.. enough parking available. Restrooms are clean. They also some local pickles, sweets and munchies. Place for a quick peaceful pitstop on any drive.

I visited Kamat Madhuvan Veg Restaurant, Mysore on 4th October 2025 at around 9:53 PM, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. The person sitting at the cash counter was extremely rude and arrogant. Even though there were plenty of empty tables near the entrance, customers were being rudely asked to move inside, without any courtesy or explanation. Many people actually walked out because of this behavior, but since it was late and I was with my wife and kids, we had no choice but to stay. We ordered meals, but despite the restaurant being nearly empty, they started serving only at 10:30 PM. The service was very slow and unorganized. When we politely asked for a small portion of extra rice for rasam, one of the servers brought it — but shockingly, a fat guy from their team started abusing the server loudly right in front of the customers. It was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. I couldn’t even finish my meal. I just walked out and still paid the full ₹660 for two meals and one child meal. Overall, the management seriously lacks basic manners and customer service skills. The staff treats customers as if they’re doing us a favor. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if you value respect and decent service.

I recently visited Kamat Restaurant on the Mysore–Ooty Highway. ✅ Positives: Parking space is really good. ❌ Negatives: When we sat down, a server later asked us to shift to another spot because food wasn’t served in the place we had chosen. This felt quite disrespectful, as the staff should have guided us right when we entered. Service was very poor. We requested just a bottle or glass of water for my dad to take his tablet, but it took asking three different waiters before we finally got it. Each one kept passing the request instead of simply bringing it. Only one waiter, towards the end, was polite and took care of our order properly. Food was just average, nothing special. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Apart from parking, nothing stood out positively. I would not stop at this restaurant again.

Hope I had option to rate minus stars. First time ever felt to rate negative. Food is not tasty. Quantity is very very very low. Worst people who expect child meals cost being paid for a kid of 3 years. The pappu had a hair in it which they were taking lot of time to replace. I would say please never make a mistake of visiting this hotel.

Visited here for lunch, I sensed phenyl smell when entering, they have spacious area for seating. Ordered north karnataka special meals, tastewise it was not bad but there were flies and they should give some importance to hygiene. For price quality should be improved. Fruit salad quantity is very small and not at all satisfied.

Found cockroaches in the mutton leg soup. We ordered dosas, mutton chops, kheema, chicken pulao and leg soup. The taste of all the dishes were average and the quantity was a little less but ok, must say mutton leg soup's leg was very well cooked. But the horrible part was finding cockroaches in the leg soup. The whole experience of having at legacy place was shattered. Informed the owner and server, they had no answers too. The owner says " it happens sometimes what to do ". Seriously?? So irresponsible,. We had a horrible experience. I must say please avoid this place. Waste of such hype and name and all. It's just you guys lost a couple of customers

We went there for breakfast with a bunch of super hungry colleagues who are regular to this place. Lakshman Mess is not the type of neat and clean restaurant and is a village type hotel. The owner started his business in a pushcart and went onto to have this establishment and this is a three storied building with many bench type seatings and table made of wood and is not so comfortable for long hours. First floor is for family and groups. The menu are varied comprising of Biryani, Leg Soup, mutton and chicken chops, palav, dosa, kheema fry, parota, boti curry and only the regulars will understand and like the taste. I tried leg soup, Mutton chops, boti fry and dosa and though seem tasty, hygiene and minimum sophistication is a factor which if your very particular about this, I urge you, this will not be to your liking. For all others, they simply gorge the food like hungry wolfs.

I visited Lakshman Mess after hearing rave reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The restaurant has an inspiring story, evolving from a humble handcart to a three-story eatery in the city's midst. Finding the place was easy, thanks to Google directions, and parking was not an issue. We visited around 1 pm, and the crowd was manageable. However, the food did not quite live up to expectations. The palav rice was bland and lacked basic spices, requiring added salt. The chicken chops (₹120 for 3 pieces) and chicken kebab (₹120 for 5-6 pieces) were average. Given the choice, I would certainly prefer Gowdru Mess over Lakshman Mess. Perhaps they can work on refining their recipes and portion sizes. 3 Stars only for their hard work. Food would be 2 Stars

We ordered Chicken chaps and pepper chicken with poratta, mudda and palav rice. Pepper chicken was not up to the mark. Other items was good.overall best service with budget friendly with adequate quantity of food, need to try some more items next time.

Worst experience ever! Felt like eating at a wedding hall that’s too tiny, with people literally standing behind you waiting for you to finish. No cleanliness at all, and you just can’t eat in peace. Taste? Not worth it. Only the biriyani was okay; chicken lollipop was terrible, parota was cold, and the service was a joke. I get that it’s a small mess and expectations shouldn’t be high, but even the basics are missing here. To top it all off, we got scammed by paying for an extra plate of biriyani we didn’t even eat! Definitely not a place to take your family.

I don't have option to rate negative.. i think Mr.Laxman need to go back to Cart business to provide old taste and authentic non veg meat ( he grow up cart business).. we have tried mutton chops, mutton keema, chicken biriyani, chicken kabab and biriyani rice .. not even one item is hot nor even warn.. it's only food bloggers hype and fake google reviews... Not worth for the money you pay for food.. please avoid visiting this place hypes and google reviews...

Visited this place for lunch, tried the ragi mudde with saar and chicken biryani along with some chicken kebab, and pepper chicken fry. The ragi mudde was soft and tasty. The chicken was tender. The biryani didn’t have any basmati rice, made with simple jeera rice. The biryani was flavourful. Special mention of the mutton kheema. Do try out when in Mysore.

Cold Birayani was served 😡, had asked them to get fresh once even that was horrible one. Mutton curry was bonne, tandoori was not up to the mark Tikka & Afgani chicken was good. But the worst part was ambience ( the guy in the photo was acting stupid ) as if we have come to have free food, he has to learn the basic requirements of running a restaurant. On the way back to Bangalore from Coorg, if you want a nonveg thaali you should definitely visit this place. There are many veg restaurants on the way but every restaurants will be crowded waiting time will be maximum 20 mins there wasn't good response from the cashier. They don't even bother. So, we visited this restaurant. AC hall, good ambience, the manager was good. Waiting was 10-15 mins. You have many options. Nonveg thaali was superb tasty, cost was like 220/- plate Veg thaali was average taste price was 170/- plate. Overall you can enjoy your meal 😋

One of the must-try places in Mysore for Dosa, a variety of dosas are there to try out. The quality of the dosa and chutney is good, price is definitely on the higher side for a street cart. No seating is available and waiting time is usually up to 25min as the crowd is high and tests your patience.

Tried Butter Masala Dosa here, taste was good priced at 70rs. However, they could have priced reasonably.

I had a great dining experience at Barbeque Nation in Nexus Mall. The food was excellent fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The variety of dishes, especially the grilled items and desserts, was impressive and satisfying. However, I’d rate the service 4 out of 5. While the staff was polite and courteous, the starters were served in limited quantity despite it being an unlimited buffet. We had to request multiple times for refills, which slightly affected the flow of the experience. That said, the pricing is absolutely worth it for the quality and variety of food offered. A great place for group dining or celebrations. Would definitely visit again, hoping for improved service on the starters.🥰👍

We recently visited Barbeque Nation at Mysore Nexus Mall and, to be honest, had quite an average experience. While the hospitality and politeness of the staff were commendable, the overall experience felt manipulative and disappointing. Many of the items listed on the non-veg menu were simply not available, and whenever I tried to order something, the waiter would respond saying “Sir, the menu has changed.” However, when I requested to see the updated menu, they wouldn’t provide it—just briefly showed a few items on the phone. For each order, the waiter would first go check if it was available, and even when it was, he’d serve it only once unless repeatedly asked. This selective serving style completely defeats the idea of an “unlimited” buffet. Nothing about it felt transparent or true to the concept. None of these limitations were mentioned during booking either. Even the taste and variety were repetitive, with almost everything tasting the same. The waiting times were unnecessarily long, and overall, the vibe didn’t reflect the lively, generous spirit Barbeque Nation is known for. It honestly felt like they were doing their best to stretch limited options while giving an illusion of abundance. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on menu transparency, availability, and authenticity, because guests come expecting the signature Barbeque Nation experience — not a restricted or misleading version of it.

Barbeque Nation in Mysore is very nice. The food was very tasty, especially the prawns and fish — they were just ultimate! The place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Ranjith, the manager, was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The staff were polite and quick.

the ambience here is great with gud vibes..but i found fud average,the chicken gravy was not cooked properly,I could taste the tomatoes undercooked in tht gravy,the mutton curry was too watery like rasam,the not to mention the mutton chunks to b only bones n not refilled on time..the only dish to b appreciated was the egg gravy with was thick n tasty...it would take time to service anything on time... service was too late... overall I had a bad or not so good experience when I dined in...

It's a old classic and the best place for south Indian cuisine

This a very old hotel in Mysore and many of them know it as Ramya Hotel, though the old is very old and very popular the ambience is nice, most of the crowd are elderly people as they know the taste and feel of it. The person who served me was a elderly person and down to earth he suggested me what is good and what is hot. Taste is exceptionally good especially the Button Idli with ghee. I took away one star and have rated them 4 star only because of the parking, the road is too narrow and also have travels vehicles parked on either side of the road. Apart from parking mess, this place is fantastic with amazing taste.

Visiting after 5 years, the badam halva and the basundi are the same!! The Vada Sambar is the same!! So is the filter Kaaapi!!

Dined at Spring recently with my family. Crowded as expected on a Saturday. Having dined here before the service and the varieties have clearly gone down! None of the starters on display were even warm. There were too many waitresses, clearly no sense of commitment. Kulcha ordered never came to our table despite promised by Veena to deliver in 5 mins. Biryani was stale, other dishes lacked the usual flavor. As they say “Too many cooks spoil the broth “. Absolutely disorganized. I could see the chefs moving around but did not help the cause. Please avoid this Spring! Other restaurants serve better quality food which is authentic and flavorful.

Great dining in mysuru, well worth the visit. I was lucky to be able to have a lunch and a breakfast here while i was staying at the hotel for 2 nights. Well maintained and serviced cooking stations. Great flavors throughout, it’s easy to see that the chef pays attention to the food quality here. Service is slightly lacking but it’s also worth noting that it’s quite a big venue with inside and outside seating. The mysore masala dosa was a standout for me.

Bloody brilliant food. Always fresh and overflowing with flavour. The breakfast is sumptuous and has a good lot of a healthy portion too. Live counters are always pleasing. Must try here.

Average place with average tasting food. The buffet did not have much variety. 2 non veg startes, murg malai kebab was definitely avoidable. The fish koliwada was nice, but the food quality was definitely ordinary. the presentation/ taste / left a lot to be desired.

The buffet was extremely disappointing! DO NOT VISIT! Though there was a variety, the food was old and bland! Their digital menu had no pictures, and terrible UI that didn't show the full drinks description. We ordered drinks which arrived after the meal! Despite asking them to cancel it, it took another 10 minutes to arrive. There was only 5-6 non veg options. 2 fish dishes that tasted old. There was no nonveg option for the Chinese section. And the live counter only had a veg dhal roll. The only saving grace is the ambience, do not make the mistake of thinking it leads to good quality food.

I and my family of six had been here for the dinner today and the experience was below average. Firstly, there was power down twice where for 10 mins there was pitch dark and we had lit our mobile flashlights. Secondly, the food was below average. Didn't like any of the dishes we ordered. The paneer Tikka had no masala and the salad served with it had a weird taste. The veg kolhapuri wasn't good at all. Hakka Noodles also tasted weird. Other items we ordered were manchow soup, butter kulcha, mushroom Hyderabadi and mushroom schezwan fried rice which were all okayish and below average. The hygiene was also not taken care. Overall the experience was dissatisfied and maybe dont know. I have been a customer of green leaf from a very long time, but this was something unexpected.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and at the best location. The package included breakfast and lunch/dinner. The later is mostly not available during weekdays due to less occupancy which i guess they should keep optional therfore. Food is okay, breakfast is elaborate with many veg options. Staff is attentive and polite. Room service and other needs improvement...

I visited the same place in 2020 and it was a great experience that time, the food was really amazing in 2020. Visited again in July 2025 with good memories of 2020, but the food remain a pain point. Tried to find out the reason for food quality degradation, got to know that this hotel was managed by Radissons Group in 2020, but the management has changed to Nile Group for last couple of years, and they have not paid enough attention to the food. We visited Mysore from Bangalore just to enjoy Mysore weather and good food at the hotel, but were utterly disappointed. The Nile Group should hire good chefs and provide fine dine experience to the guests.

Beautiful hotel made in a beautiful place. Stayed two days and I have no words to express the service , rooms, facilities. We took the executive rooms. The hotel has swimming pool, gym and SPA as well. All the facilities for a perfect vacation. Loved the restaurant service MOSAIC, specially there staffs who were so welcoming and comforting as well as attentive all the time. Specially Angela, Momoi and sujal.

Check in time was 2pm and I reached 3.30pm. When I reached room was not ready and asked me to wait for 30 min. Room was neat and clean. But no hot water in bathroom.It's just warm water. Faced issues connecting wiFi and informed reception. Even after following the steps what they said WiFi connection never worked. Breakfast and dinner buffet was nice. Pool was ok. Kids section pool water was little indoor water was too cold.

The Spot is good for those who just wabt to booze at 5th floor.. but for family and friends gatherings just for food is not worth it.. Tough the ambience can be enhanced even better for its location they have done a very poor job with that.. and the Chicken Kadai we order came with just Capsicum and Freezer stored Chicken Masala it tasted very bad..it will be a very good hangout place if these points are considered. And there was no music 😶‍🌫️

We came in the afternoon for a drink after sightseeing and stayed for dinner as the menu is generous. In daytime the rooftop terrasse is not that beautiful, but it gets much better after sunset. When they put the lights on and it gets a bit busier. We had the tandoori mixed veg with paneer and it came on skewers and on a small grill! Accompanied by some falaffellike dish and a spicy mintsauce. This meal was absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend it!! Besides we had stuffed potatoe in gravy, which was also fantastic. And then I want to mention how attentive and friendly our waiter has been throughout our whole visit. That made us feel very comfortable, our special thanks go to this kind man. Overall a great experiance you should not miss when visiting Mysore! 🫶

Had a very unpleasant experience. The service was dismal—staff barely acknowledged us and seemed overwhelmed. Our food took over 30 minutes for a single starter and biryani. The cafe was loud and chaotic, with no sense of calm or ambiance to speak of. To make matters worse, we ordered the chicken biryani and one of us suffered stomach pain which I must say definitely ruined the evening . For a rooftop bar with promising views, this felt like a huge letdown. Won’t be going back.

The ambience and view is really good! Do try the Thai crispy chicken. It's sweet but it's amazing!! Chicken biryani and raita was so delicious!! Chicken stake with mint wasn't that great. And last do have the fried chocolate ice cream. Though it doesn't look that great in pictures, it's worth the taste. It has lots of nuts! 😍 The service is also quick. The place is average. The food is average. The service is unsatisfactory. The washroom isnt very clean. Ordered for wine punch, the drink tasted well but the rim of the glass was all dirty. Water was served in broken glass. The 2 only good things about the place are: Its rooftop and the cost is moderate.

Overpriced place with rude staff this is my 1 liner about this place. The staff was so rude and we finally started getting service when we told them that we were leaving for JP restaurant nearby. Before this everyone was just rude and we had to fight for even the basic things. Please don't operate a place if you cannot manage it. The buffet had very few items for the cost, for example they did not even have a non veg main course curry item and the remaining food also was finished and we had to ask for food every few minutes. Don't get alcohol here, it is just too overpriced. A pint of Budweiser costs 525Rs approx. We went here for our 5th year anniversary and it was ruined. In the end they did give us a complimentary cake that we requested them through zomato and we had to argue with them since no one was ready to even listen to us to get it. The place obviously looks great in photos but my personal choice will be to never go there. We spent a total 8400Rs approx here for 4 people and every penny was a waste of money

Beautiful interiors and well lit. dinner spread is good and they have a good lot of seating. Service was pretty prompt too and they had a good number for staff. open space is there too for outdoor seating. Their biryani and chicken is the best. desserts were okayish , coffee ice cream and rasgulla were good.

We were staying at the Grand Mercure hence decided to have dinner here since it's in same same property. The food was over all very good and most of the items tasted good. The only issue which turned down the overall experience was the service where they were not quick to get the Roti /Naan and it took more than 15 mins. Also the starters were cold and when asked to get it warmed they were done to last only a few minutes. The guys waiters were good and co-operative but the service was slow. We also had breakfast at same place which was little better experience. Also the beverages charges were too costly for dinner hence due to this reason it is better to visit any other nearby places.

My experience during the stat at the hotel and the Food i had at Lauppu Buffet was very average. I have read reviews of awesome buffet of this hotel but i was disappointed when i had it . Literally 2 or 3 items were saviour. Buffet rush is like crazy for such average taste. Cocktails from the Bar were ok not great. What disappointed further was inspite of the room being centrally AC it was crazy hot . I had to ask 2 times if ac was working. I was told because of the crowd but then then the ac needed to be cranked up to make the surroundings cool. U cant enjoy a buffet sweating . Can you believe outside seating was cooler then the ac seating. Ordered Steam rice and Daal fry/tadka for dad and i was told it wud be made seperately. But it was the same mushy rice and the daal from the buffet. At an exorbitant 700 plus gst for 2 dishes that was not expected. Dinner cost us almost 5k with cocktails and it was not value for money. Breakfast was included in our booking. Both days apart from 2 3 items everything was repeated. Scrambled eggs had egg shell in it , juice was tasteless. Sunny side up egg was oily. Ordered but never got the dosa. Getting a seat was tough and it was a chaos during both breakfast and dinner buffets. Their non veg and veg thali was on the list during our visit as seen and influenced by a huge food blogger but after the 1st night we decided not to have meals in the hotel. Google says its a 5 star property but the food and arrangements are that of 3 star. May be becos of rush during the long weekend but nevertheless food being the most important part of stay for me and specially booking the room becos of the food review I was very disappointed. Rooms . Room was very small . We were 3 people and booked the room seeing the pics in the website which looked huge. Even for 2 people room was smaller than other star property i stayed in. For 14k for 2 nights and 3 days i found the deal not value for money. Definitely didnt meet my expectations.

I am extremely pleased with La Uppu, which is situated in Grand Mercure Hotel…I had the egg noodles, rice and even some Thai green curry. they adjusted everything specially for me, by making the noodles spicy and reducing the quantity of veggies. I never seemed to like Thai green curry, but for the first time when I had it here, I absolutely loved the taste and they also knew to serve me the gravy.. their observation and attention to detail was what made this stay the most memorable..I would like to specifically point out Ms Himankhi, who was specially nice to me and knew exactly what I wanted! I would like to meet her again in the future and thank you for hearing me out….

Whole staff of the hotel is very polite and supportive specially the owner. The only problem here is this place is not suitable for family. The price here is less as compared to other restaurants offering same food. So overall if you are planning to eat out with friends you can give it a try. Came here for Lunch and it was a great experience. The place has a luxurious, classy vibe but still feels very rooted in the South. Beautiful interiors with a traditional touch — it really feels special when you walk in. The food was unlimited and surprisingly well-priced for how fancy the place looks. Very elegant restaurant located on the first floor of the Radisson hotel. The food was delicious! We wanted to try as many different dishes as possible, and the few we ordered definitely met our expectations. The place is pricey for Mysore, but I would say it was worth it. The only negative is the slow, disorganized service. While the floor manager and the waiters were friendly, we had to repeat some orders a couple of times and then it took them inexplicably long to bring us drinks (a simple beer and a coke), and the place was not even busy. Still worth a visit for the great food and the atmosphere.

❌Buffets only on Sunday ( No ALa Carte ) Walked in with heavy expectations on having a fine dine seated experience, guided by one of the people at the help desk. But once we were seated, the staff at the restaurant informed us there were only Thalis, we were quite disappointed. Especially that the prices started at INR 499 per thali, and add ons like rice and other condiments start at INR 150. We just walked out, as we were wrongly guided. Quite disappointed overall, especially that the ambience is quite breathtaking. We’re from Bangalore and have never quite seen this before, hence were surprised.

Very pretty ambiance and well maintained garden! The food is good too! I only have a feedback for the waitress names Supriya who did not note down our order correctly and we had to wait 2 hours to sort the mess up. But I would surely revisit !

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel during the Dasara celebrations in Mysore. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers that really added to the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-maintained. Highly recommend it if you're visiting Mysore!

It's a very old property. Very less maintained. Basic privacy like curtains, proper windows, locker are not available at rooms. You have to stay in fear all the time. No clue who in the world will keep a plain glass window next to a corridor where people walk very frequently with no curtains. I did not see much of CCTVs as well. The pics are mostly edited like blurring the floors, cracks, algae on the building. I had planned for staycation. But it's a total mess. Their WiFi is very much speed with 600 kbps. They have a bath tub, but no bubble bath or any bathing solutions available, no hair cap, no hair dryer. Basic things like pipe fittings are not proper. Shower is broken. Dirty water, dirty towels , dirty quilts. Only good thing is that, staffs are very friendly and polite. They are too much polite that they acknowledge all the feedbacks and said we will take care of these. But I came to stay and not critic. Overall it's a horror house with very good staff. I paid 6k per night for this and regret every penny.

We had a very unfortunate and unsafe experience during our stay at Green Hotel, Mysore. To our shock, we spotted a snake inside the room, which was extremely distressing and posed a serious safety risk—especially since we were holidaying with a young child. Although the hotel management did offer to shift us to a room in the palace wing, we had to decline due to our deep safety concerns after such an incident. A hotel stay should foremost ensure the safety and peace of mind of its guests. Sadly, this experience left us feeling anxious and unsafe, and we cannot recommend this place for families

Serene place. Quiet. You can hear birds and insects- something that you don’t get in the city these days. Away from the hustle- gives you the calm sense. Malgudi cafe is a must try. Prompt Customer service at the cafe. Will definitely stay for a longer period. Maintained the old building as is without too many changes to give the ‘palace vibe’. Neat and clean

It was a great experience. We visited here on the occasion of the wedding anniversary, and they were aware of the reason as I reserved the table online. They have good veg starter options and we enjoyed everything except the mushroom. The main course was not that appreciable menu we found it as regular. Desserts were good and found more options . At the end they bought a tiny cake with well decorated and embossing HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, that was really surprising😊 Overall it was good.

I've been going there since it started. It was too good in the initial years. They used to serve liquor earlier. But I feel so sad for the ones who serve. They need not come and ask you if everything is fine every now n den.. at times we also kinda get irritated. It would spoil the fun time we have with our friends and family. Please consider this as a suggestion. Just your service can speak a lot more than asking ten times. Only starters are good here. Main course isn't that great. The mutton served in the main course Tastes really bad. Rubberish and very bland. Hat's off to the waiters! Place is kept hygienic except washroom!

Today was my another visit at bbq nation. I cannot explain how nice and awesome it was, just mindblowing, food taste was heaven. Delicious, awesome. Just sooo goood, super helping staff and awesome ppl around, i was so happy in this visit, feels so so awesome, prawns were so awesome. And they gave us food of our choice like masala n all, all d food which they wer serving was super cool and they askd us how t was and taste wise and improvement suggestions awesome just feels like best and peacefull. No one can make barbeque that delicious and cool ones, table was clean. Washrooms were clean, they helped us in each and everything. Today's mutton curry was mouthwatering and desserts were super awesome. Barbeque nation is just like the name its the best! I am so happie with my visit this time! Nothing felt bad nothing was bad whatever we had all wer awesome and up to the highest mark! I feel so happy and thanking all the "MYSORE BARBEQUE NATION STAFF'S " for this wonderful day and for this wonderful lunch and awesome food! Everything was perfect as needed to us! Just loved it, just keep this taste and maintain cleanliness like these days always ... So happy!

Well maintained..!!!...I got delighted by seeing the price they had kept for buffet. This is the cheapest barbeque nation in India. Staffs were very good and service was fast. I liked the prawns a lot. All other starters were also good in taste. Also in main course, the food were of good in taste. Must visit.!!!

Delicious and the must try restaurants for barbeque food lovers! I have been here multiple times and I'm pleased with their service, food, cleanliness and the birthday songs. One good place full of good vibes to celebrate the birthday/anniversary to make your loved ones happy not just with FOOD but with a happy song and a cute cake! The starters are great from panipuri to prawns (limited veg options) and the main course butter kulcha with varieties of curries, biriyani, noodles and soups are a good combo! Desserts are damn good! Jamoon is my fav (most people's 😋) cakes aren't really great, kheer and rabdi are ok to taste, the fruit options are almost limited and the icecream is good specially the kulfi - unlike any other BBQs in Bangalore or chennai the customized ice creams aren't available in Mysore but you can decorate your kulfi with the available toppings. The birthday cakes aren't really delicious, may be as they are for free! I'd be happy if they make it little better.

Staff is very calm, service is excellent but the main problem is there are very less starters in veg menu and only one variety in chicken starter. There was no welcome drinks. CRISPY CORN is MUST TRY. Ambience is very good and if there are any celebrations then there will be complementary cake from BN and staff will also join the celebrations and makes moment memorable.

Not good experience at all. Poor service, taste and quality for high prices. As it already happened a year ago- food comes burnt. Tried papaya mint salad too, it is very small for the price they charge. Healthy food restaurant supposed to consider burned food being unhealthy. More than that, the owner did not care when we talked to him. The stuff seems to have not been instructed how to talk to customers if there is any issue. We were not offered any solution. Definitely not recommend.

Below average food. Quinoa salad hardly had any quinoa. Just filled with carrots and tomatoes. No dressing whatsoever. Pumpkin soup was the most tasteless soup ever. Overall with just one more family seated ( on a Sunday night), the service was quite slow.

Food was amazing, nutritious and delicious as well. Definitely recommended with family and friends. If you are looking for taste and health this is a great option. Peacefull Ambiance and friendly staff. Loved it!

Just saw this store while walking and really liked the stuff .have everything under one roof.met charan n he was really informative. Malts for health.cold press oils, honey. Prices may seem a bit high but for good quality it's worth it.

The ambience and service at this establishment were truly exceptional—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated, setting the tone for what I hoped would be a memorable dining experience. However, the food fell short of expectations. I was recommended the Mushroom Biryani as one of their signature dishes, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. In hindsight, I wish I had opted for one of the other thoughtfully crafted millet-based offerings on the menu, which looked far more promising. While the hospitality tempts me to return, the experience of leaving a nearly untouched dish behind makes me reconsider. A beautiful space with much potential—I only hope the food soon matches the calibre of the service. :)

Dhatu is one of those gem restaurants, which you come across rarely. I was recommended because of their wide variety of dishes without onion & garlic and it is absolutely true. I visited with my brother and we had delicious Mysore chat of moong dal, mixed vegetables, palak paneer, ragi roti with pomegranate fresh juice. Also fresh lemongrass tea. Last but not least delicious coconut Kheer and ragi laddus as desert. Ragi Laddu is their signature desert which sells out during festivals. Manager Wati is one of those rare hosts who listens to your dietary requirements and get the food made exactly as expected and delicious. Thank you so much Wati and his team. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, MUST VISIT.

It rained sometime back so place was in total disarray. Few tables were set under cover. Pool was dirty. Planned dinner with family there. Looking at the place, we went to another restaurant Mosaic which is in same facility.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Empire Restaurant, and overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambience set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The decor is tasteful and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that creates a perfect setting for both casual meals and special occasions. Whether you're coming with friends, family, or dining solo, the space feels warm and welcoming. One of the standout aspects of Empire Restaurant is their excellent service. The staff were attentive, courteous, and well-informed about the menu. Our server was prompt and made sure our table was always clean, water was refilled on time, and food was served with care and attention to detail. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy during my visit, the team managed everything with professionalism and a smile. Now on to the food—which is, of course, the star of any dining experience. I tried a few items during my visit: the biryani, chicken wings, and alfahm. The biryani was absolutely delicious. Fragrant, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection, it struck the right balance between flavor and aroma. The rice was fluffy and well-layered with tender pieces of meat that melted in the mouth. It’s definitely a must-try and something I’d happily return for. The chicken wings were another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a flavorful sauce that packed a punch without being overpowering. They were clearly prepared fresh and served hot. A perfect appetizer to kick off the meal. The only letdown of the evening was the alfahm. While it looked appetizing and came in a generous portion, the taste didn’t quite live up to expectations. The meat was a bit dry and lacked the depth of flavor you typically hope for with alfahm. It wasn't inedible, but compared to the other items I tried, it felt like it was missing that signature marinade or cooking finesse that makes this dish shine. Hopefully, this is just a one-off issue, and with a few tweaks, it could match the high standard set by the rest of the menu. Despite the alfahm falling short, the overall experience at Empire Restaurant was very satisfying. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, top-notch service, and mostly excellent food makes it a place I’d recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a hearty meal in a pleasant setting. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu—and hopefully give the alfahm another shot if they’ve worked on improving it.
