Beautiful beach and loved the Mexican music in the background. Restaurant staff tries hard to get your business, but that’s just how it is in almost any touristy place in Mexico. You just smile and keep walking til you get to where you want to go. Once you choose a place, their service is top notch.
Jonathan F — Google review
Beautiful, quiet, warm water, lots of food to choose from, mostly seafood and there is no fee or wait time to enter the beach.
Rene S — Google review
Great beach 🏖️ and you don't need snorkeling gear with just some goggles your good since the fishes are really close to the ocean shore.
Paul R — Google review
Once you arrive, you will be approached immediately by restaurant staff trying to convince you to go into their restaurants. Facing the beach, walk to the right look for the bathrooms & showers & take the public path to the beach. The water was calm, lovely & incredibly clear. Be aware that in the afternoon numerous boat tours show up quickly and their customers are herded into the restaurants to be fleeced. I simply walked to a quiet area of the beach & set up my space and had an enjoyable time.
Cameron H — Google review
Tons of beach side restaurants of which the staff will accost you as soon as you get out of a taxi, trying to get you to come to their place. At the far left end of the beach, there's a small public swimming area where we were able to snorkel from and see a wide variety of small fish. The waves and current there were fine for swimming and our kids being in the water. Beautiful turquoise, warm water.
Kat B — Google review
Tourist friendly businesses. Fun activities for all ages.
Estrella E — Google review
Beautiful❤️🫶🏽only thing this beach goes in deep very soon. Also be aware of the restaurants on the beach they tend to add extras to your tab.
D. P — Google review
Nice beach but sadly not for kids as I was advised and very expensive. The side where the kids can swim is open sea and the waves can pull you They rent pool swim inflatables , which is crazy!!!! , there was a couple with their child and the waves started pushing them to the deep , they had to swim and push him Of course the people who give it to rent will never tell you this danger so please don’t rent this and also very expensive. I am glad I didn’t rent it and if something happens you have to pay full price for the ring more than 1000 thousand pesos The food is not good and all is expensive , a chelada cost 150 pesos I would rather recommend LA ENTREGA . La entrega beach has not sun beads but you can rent an umbrella and the restaurant la entrega has an amazing food and very good prices and good place for children too

Waterfalls
Took a day trip to waterfalls on a vacation to Huatulco. Spectacular day walking in nature culminating in view of falls. TIP: Recommend taking a tour. The roads are narrow and bumpy, and I would not suggest self driving.
Terri D — Google review
Amazing experience. It's a little far and costs 100 pesos per person but it is such a huge cascada and dogs are welcome. We spent the whole day there.
Secil K — Google review
This place is absolutely stunning! Incredible pure water, so powerful and peaceful. The only thing about it which is not great it’s a road from Oaxaca and people who are working there don’t speak English at all, sobe really for the tricky parts.
Iryna H — Google review
Great place for a short walk along the river with many small waterfalls and places to swim. The water is refreshing and crystal clear. The road is mostly fine with some dirt sections. It's possible to drive any normal car there, if you are fine with dirtroads.
Andre — Google review
Paradise on earth. Have a local guide take you there and enjoy swimming in all the pools. The water is clean and has the right temperature. It's a bit of a drive getting there, but certainly worth it. Take at least half a day and visit early (or late) to avoid the crowds. There's a restaurant on site.
Jelle S — Google review
Definitely magical place and we had such a great time. Felt like a little waterpark for us. Spectacular setting and great photos to Greenberger this place. So glad we came early before the crowds be we had the place to ourselves for 30 minutes before ppl started arriving! I would definitely combine it with Cascada Las Brisas!
Sam N — Google review
The clear cool water was amazing! Went with our own guide Chay and he knew all the ins and out of the falls. Not crowded on a weekday and definitely recommend going here when in Oaxaca.
Tim D — Google review
Place is Magical like the name says. Crystal clear water with gorgeous jungle views. from the parking lot there are several waterfalls getting bigger the higher you go. Pictures don’t do justice. Once at the top you can purchase refreshments and snacks- if you love waterfalls you cant miss this one. The way there is kind of hidden about an hour into the jungle from the coastal highway. There are a lot of motorcycles that are willing to take you there for a fee. Entrance fee is $100 pesos per person. Definitely coming back.

Botanical garden
Gardens
Nestled in the picturesque mountains of Oaxaca, Hagia Sofia is a delightful botanical garden that offers visitors an immersive experience into nature's wonders. Named after the owner's daughter, this privately run oasis is not just about stunning flora; it also features a variety of exotic fruits like mangosteen and rambutan, which you can sample with their highly recommended breakfast package.
A nice visit to the privately run botanical garden in Oaxaca. Breakfast, lunch, swim included in the price (800 pesos per person - booked directly with Hagia Sofia). Armando (the owner) named this place for his daughter. He's a knowledgeable and friendly guy, who expertly guided us through the amazing variety of plants and trees. There are multiple washrooms and rest points with refreshing drinks along the way. Lunch and breakfast are delicious. The waterfall is nice, and an excellent place to swim. Also included in the price is pickup from our hotel in Huatulco. Totally worth visiting if you're in Huatulco!
Sam S — Google review
A pretty little town at the top of the mountains. Great views in the center of the Oxahacan coffee region. This is where it all happens, great little coffee places and cute church, a must see if coffee is your passion.

(Translated by Google) Excellent reserve, it has paradisiacal fruits such as mangosteen, rambutan, noni, cocoa, star fruit, among others. You can try them if you buy the breakfast package which is highly recommended. Inside you will find many flowers and fruits, there is a waterfall but the time to swim is not very long, it is better to dip your feet and take photos. I would visit it again on my next trip to Huatulco.

Park
Nature & Parks
Parque Eco-Arqueológico Copalita is a small archaeological park near Huatulco, nestled in the jungle of the Bahias de Huatulco nature reserve. The entrance fee is around 46 pesos and it's definitely worth it. The shaded trail takes you past pre-Columbian structures like a ball court, temple, and large pyramid. Although climbing on these structures is not allowed, you can still admire them from the trail.
This park recently reopened and cost about 46 pesos to enter. It took about two hours to walk through. There is a visitor center but it appeared to be closed. The shaded trail leads through several pre-Columbian structures including a ball court, temple and large pyramid. You are not allowed to climb any of these but you can view them from the trail. The trail could use some maintenance - there are some areas where I had to dodge hanging branches. Hike to the steep upper part of the trail to the Mirador - a lookout to a beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and the ruins of an ancient lighthouse.
Chad L — Google review
Please note* this place is constantly updating, so things may have changed! Summary: 1. Gorgeous views with a small uphill walk/ hike. 2. Loads of geckos, birds, and other animals. 3. A lot of the pathways were washed out due to hurricane. They seem to be rebuilding! 4. You cannot go up to the ruins, though you can see them from about 12 feet away. 5. There was no small museum when we visited. It seemed empty, but maybe it will be there when you visit! While supporting a National Park in Mexico, you can take a stroll up a stone pathway to some outstanding views of La Bocana, the coast, and see where the river and ocean meet by a sand bar. The views were gorgeous, and we saw so many animals. If you're lucky you can see horses running along the beach below. While walking, there are big signs that teach you about the local fauna in Spanish. It's interesting stuff! Some of the pathways have been washed out due to hurricanes. They seem to be actively fixing this, but something to note as a lot of the pathways are under construction. Still great to go support them while they rebuild! The ruins are active archeological sites. This means you cannot take photos, or walk directly up to the ruins. It's still really neat to see the architecture, as it's different than how the Mayans used to build.
Ash W — Google review
Great two hour walk in a Mexican jungle. Definitley a work in progress, but well worth the 90 pesos. Great views at the top of the walk. Maybe the archeology people and the National park people will get back together under cordial circumstances, settle their differences and get back to letting people take photos of the 1500 yr old ruins. Right now, no photos allowed.
Chris W — Google review
Still relatively unknown to tourists, the Copalita Ecological Park and Ruins (Parque Eco Arqueológico Copalita) sit on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in the Huatulco resort area. Remnants of pyramids, temples, a ball court, and a pre-Hispanic lighthouse dot the lush landscape of the archaeological park, which also includes a massive stone believed to have once been used in sacrifices. It has a beautiful viewing point!
Coucai — Google review
Beautiful reserve that includes prehispanic temple, a pyramid and more. The ruins are just that -- ruined by time and nature but picturesque in this low-lying jungle. The viewpoint (mirador) over the ocean offers rare views of untrammeled nature.
Johntony — Google review
It is worth visiting this park! The place has a local biologist that will guide you throughout the place, explaining everything. If you are not versed in understanding Spanish, I highly recommend to bring someone to translate. There are lots of interesting facts along the way. To spot animals comes out of luck. But even if you are not lucky, you’ll still enjoy a good hike among local flora. There are some amazing trees, and of course, the view from the highest point to the beach and the river mouth is worth the visit! There’s also a sort of museum or visitor center with local handcrafts. It’s not just an exhibit, but also a store if you wish to take something home. However, the main point of the exhibit is not to sell it, but to explain how some of these crafts are done. This part was very educational too. There are explanations written throughout the place both in Spanish and English if you wish to learn more or not depend on a guide. However, to get into the forest is only allowed with the guided visit. Last, but not least, this place relies on donations. They are optional, but encouraged, and they suggest to give away 300 pesos per person. The donations help them maintain their jaguar sanctuaries, which is part of the mision of the organization that’s in charge of the administration of this place.
Vasti O — Google review
We dragged our feet before we got here. Shouldn’t have. It’s a beautiful park and you should set aside 2-3 hours to see it. Very friendly personnel and if you like to you can hire a guide. We didn’t. We were planning to come back with some friends and do it again with a guide but unfortunately that did not happen. Oh well next year. Part of the park is a bit steep so be prepared.
Per-Olof E — Google review
This is museum park around Archeological digs in the area, highlighting the indigenous people of this region (Mixtec & Zapotec). Temples, town & ball court are some of the digs that can be seen. There's also the spectacular views of the meeting between river and ocean. Highly recommended.

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Bahia De Cacaluta is a secluded paradise beach that offers a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Accessible by a 30-40 minute walk through shaded paths, it provides an opportunity for solitude and tranquility. The beach is relatively untouched, with limited tourist activity before 4pm when catamarans may arrive. Visitors are advised to bring water, sunscreen, and repellent due to the length of the path.
This beach is wonderful, but also where I learned about riptides first hand. When water moves around the island from the left to right it creates an insane current that sweeps you out in seconds and carries you to the mouth of the bay. It’s too far and too strong to swim back at that point. I was snorkeling and looking down and didn’t notice that I wasn’t swimming in the direction I wanted to go until it was too late. Luckily I was really good at screaming and attracted a boat to pick me up and bring me back to shore. You can see in the photos there is a line in the water where the rip tide is. I’m grateful it wasn’t an undertow. I even watched a really strong swimmer cross to the island but he was carried by the current about 10 meters out from the direct line he was trying to swim each way. Also, there are obvious signs of sea turtle nests on this beach so please be mindful of pits dug in the sand! It seems like there is a way to drive there but we walked and saw a tarantula!
Alyson S — Google review
This is our most favorite beach in Huatulco. A 25 minute hike in gets you a Beautiful Beach that you will likely almost have to yourself for the day. The snorkeling around the island is great.
James G — Google review
A most beautiful, out-of-this-world experience. You forget the world exists... It's breathtaking. *** Before you suspend yourself between heaven and earth, do these things: 1. Bring sun protection, water, food 2. Make sure to arrange with the taxi driver to pick you up at a certain time and don't miss your appointment. 3. If you walked on the trail through the jungle - make sure to take a picture of where you entered the beach - so you can find your way back. *** Enjoy...
Svetlana L — Google review
Bahía de Cacaluta is in my top 3 of the most beautiful beaches I have visited in Huatulco! It is HUGE, the views are spectacular and it is very quiet, you feel like you have this huge bay all for yourself. I didn't try to swim, as the waves seemed a little big. I came there by foot. The entrance is called "Sendero Sanate - Bahia Cacaluta". There are a few parking spots at the entrance. The hike is very easy and pleasant (15 to 20 minutes max). There are many educational signs along the hike to learn more about the national park and the Sanate laguna. I saw lots of lizards and birds on the way. Apparently there are crocodiles in the laguna but I didn't see any. Maybe because it was very dry. The trail leads to the left side of the beach, you can walk all the way to the right side where you can find a few restaurants. There is no shade so be careful of the heat. I had a delicious lemonade at the restaurant to cool down a little. Then I came back from the same way I arrived. There is another trail leaving from behind the restaurants, but I don't know where it leads. When I come back someday, I hope I'll be able to swim and do some snorkeling.
Florian T — Google review
Amazing beach, peaceful and relaxing, you can swim and look fish is very quiet and don’t there annoying sellers is very comfortable
Aldo A — Google review
Nice hike to a secluded beach. Make sure to bring lots of mosquito spray for the hike or wear long clothes, otherwise they will eat you alive. There was no one at the beach when we got there. The waves were quite big and the current seemed to be too strong to swim
Orthja E — Google review
The best freakin’ beach in Huatulco. If you love isolated places and don’t mind being alone on a big beach, this is your place. There aren’t many places for shelter except for the family that runs a restaurant. I suggest bringing lots of water, sunscreen, and adequate coverage as the sun here can be intense. We took a taxi here but make sure you either organize a ride back prior (no service), otherwise you will have to hike on the road back to the roundabout to get a ride. It is a 40 minute walk to the beach from the road.
Tohru L — Google review
One of the best beaches I've been to! Secluded, away from the town, but not that much that it makes it difficult to go there. You need to take a taxi or arrive with your car and leave by the road, then it is around 20-40 min walk to the beach. Depending on where you leave the car it is either the "educational" path with bird watching spots or a basic road that only authorized ppl can use. Be careful as apart from birds you can meet other animal, I saw a group of 10-15 wild boars! The beach itself is perfect, small waves of crystal water, but sometimes strong current underwater, so watch out. It goes deeper that you cannot feel the bottom in about 2-5 meters already, so might not be good for children. Sometimes the boats come, and some of them stop to let ppl get on the beach for a while. I really recommend it, make sure to take lots of water and food. There are some palapas so you can hide from the sun as well, but if you have your umbrella, take it.

Parque Nacional Huatulco is a vast 29,400-acre remote plant and wildlife preserve with footpaths, beaches, coral reefs, and snorkeling opportunities. Visitors can explore the area on their own by taking a water taxi or boat to witness the abundance of coral and wildlife in this ecosystem. The park offers stunning beaches and bays with clear blue waters, some secluded while others are bustling with social life and delicious food options.
Very nice. This is not a tourist attraction. It is the real thing - a preserve. It is best visited by boat. There are foot pathes and not many roads. Great beaches and a lot of wildlife.

Museo De Artesanías Oaxaqueñas is a delightful gallery and shop that highlights the rich tradition of Oaxacan crafts, including weaving and pottery. Located just a block away from La Crucecita Market, this museum provides a platform for local Zapotec artisans to showcase and sell their art. Visitors can admire exquisite clay pieces, intricate alebrijes, finely woven wool rugs, and traditional clothing.
Was looking for textiles to take home as souvenirs, stumbled upon this amazing little shop. Family owned and operated they’ll happily show you their products, how they make them, meanings behind each pattern, and especially how they dye their yarn. Incredible artistry! As one of the artists said “made here, not in china”. Must do if you’re in town!
Skye F — Google review
The people who work here are very friendly and they don't follow you around and hound you to buy things. There is an ancient loom there and they will be happy to demonstrate how it is used. The tapestries are beautiful and the clothing is great quality.
Mike L — Google review
Very pricey and no real guarantee the work is local, handmade. There will be a guy who follows you around that makes you nervous. Big reason I did not buy the little carpet.

Hard to find handmade goods of Oaxaca. Each piece is a one of a kind with a high level of craftsmanship. Expert knowledge from the staff to help you understand and appreciate the art of their culture. Not a cheap souvenir shop, this place is high end art for your home with a real labor of love from the people to you.

The goods for sale were of high quality. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that, after buying a small wall hanging for $5000 pesos ($400 CDN), I could have bought the exact same woven article for $1800 pesos ($146 CDN) from a weaver located a short distance away in Santa Cruz.

Great beach, lots of fishes on the ocean sure so if you have little kids it's a great plan for them just don't forget the goggles 🥽. The sand is really big (more like aquarium pebbles) so I would recommend aquatic shoes if your not used to walking barefooted.

Nice beach but you have to pay 200 pesos for a chair/umbrella plus consumption. There’s a guy selling coco’s with rum definitely recommend. Clean beach clear water but cold on 12/02
Alexx A — Google review
Enjoyed the beach area! The water got a little rough as the day progressed. Restaurant was very disappointing as they changed me 200 pesos for the table and umbrella. I had to remind the waiter three times about forgetting my drink and also food. When I received the bill I noticed an additional 100 pesos charge and I asked what it was and the server said “Tax”. Didn’t have change so they basically just gave themselves a double tip.
Lany E — Google review
Went on a Friday. What a nice, mellow place! Waves are very calm on this small, family friendly beach. There was maybe 2 or 3 restaurant's, low key, no pressure from anyone! Coral reef is easy to swim to, but as has been mentioned before, go early as all the human activity on this small beach clouds the water later in the day.
Cameron H — Google review
Nice small beach, close to Cosmo and other condos. It was great for relaxing and just listening to the ocean. If you are wondering, then yes you can snorkel a little bit here. We saw the usual cast of characters: damsels, wrasses, cornet, hogfish, porcupine, and a friendly chub. It was pretty rough water here for most of our trip, but if you catch it in the morning at a slack tide and low wind, then it's not too bad for swimming around and checking out the sealife.
Doug G — Google review
Love the location and beach. Hate that tables are charged for. 300p for beach front tables and secondary tables are charged 170p unless EVERY person orders at least one drink and one meal! Only beach around that does this! We had a table of 7 people. 6 had drinks and full meals and one only had a drink and we were charged an extra 170p even after a calm, but lengthy argument! 😯 👿 Be aware!
Cory S — Google review
The water is clear blue, so memorizing, it draws you in. Its not a big beach, just a perfect size, and a nice area for snorkeling, jet skiing, and a fun ride on the banana boat. Gotta come and experience the beauty.

This course is a gem and the only one I know of on the Oaxaca coast! It is challenging, very well manicured, and absolutely beautiful! There are 2 holes on the ocean, and the rest have amazing mountain views. Practice balls on the range, as many beers that you can drink and carts are included in the green fees. Caddies are inexpensive and super helpful with yardage, greens, and finding lost balls. I hit more than a few into the bush, and they found them all. I've played this course numerous times, and every time, I felt like we were the only ones out there. The restaurant at the clubhouse has really good food as well.

This course is challenging and awesome. We played twice at this course with a caddy Named Mario. Mario knew the distance in every aspect and recommended which club to use. As I mentioned above played twice we recommend Mario again. Mario gave us pointers and I have to say it corrected my game . I would highly recommend playing this course to any player. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it ! Thank you for providing an excellent golf experience

This course is always in great shape! It's a challenging layout with large trees and lots of water that will challenge your skills. The greens are always smooth and true. It's worth the cost for a very well manicured and maintained course.

This course is beautiful. The conditions were excellent. Both the tee boxes and greens were well cared for. Also, the restaurant is very good!

It's very beautiful and I here the breakfast is really good. However I had and was very disappointed the spaghetti was salty, the ravioli was al dente. The salmon salad was ok at best. I will give them another chance for breakfast

Great course with a challenging layout. We used rental clubs which were just ok. Bring your sticks and play a couple rounds, you will have a great time. Replay was only $40 so plan a full day to take advantage and get the most bang for your buck. The staff will keep you well hydrated!!
Phil P — Google review
The course is kept in great shape, also not many people on the course so pace of play is great, the beverage cart is always very timely with cold refreshments! Love this place, well worth the cost!

Gorgeous setting, friendly service, terrible food. While we looked at menus, we were offered an order of "pane Francese" (French bread) by the waiter and we accepted. But what arrived was a big plate of French TOAST. We refused the order, a second waiter corrected the first waiter - "tost Franchese" vs "pane Franchese". The coffee came with creamers clearly labeled as synthetic - we asked for some real milk and the coffee was cold by the time the milk arrived. We ordered a sweet bun and got a basket with 4 small pastries that tasted like sugared paper. We ordered eggs benedict and they were terrible, like the chef had never had hollondaise sauce and clearly didn't know the difference between benedict and Florentine because there was both ham and spinach under the egg. The tiny amount of sauce tasted exactly like egg yolk mixed with a bit of oil, no butter flavour. We ordered a large salad - arrived a miniscule salad with dried out grated carrot and bruised raw mushrooms, bruised apple slices, transparent pink tomato slices, and literally just a few decorative dots of dressing on the plate, as well as a confusing smear of bottled hoisin sauce. When we complained that it looked nothing like that large salad in the menu photo, we were told "seasonal vegetables change". To be clear - mushrooms and lettuce are NEVER in season in this area where it rains only 2 months out of the year. We had seen the very same old white mushrooms for sale in a local supermarket the day before. And missing were the olives, cheese, diced onions (ALWAYS in season), and, well, three quarters of the salad. We refused the order. The absolutely best parts were the fresh squeezed orange and green juices, the beautiful setting, and, indeed, the order of French TOAST covered in fruit, nuts, and whipping cream actually looked great, but I don't eat so much sugar. The service was friendly if not exactly efficient. So maybe the French toast and fresh juice in the Garden of Eden setting is the way to go!

Our family of 4 (13-65) went on the Cacaluta Bike tour with Oscar. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our diverse group and abilities. Bonus points for taking videos of the ride and sharing the photos! The views were amazing and we enjoyed learning about the Hualtulco people. Highly recommend!

Did a Cacaluta Bay ride with Oscar. Would highly recommend. Challenging as you want to make it. Oscar took time to explain about some of the culture of Huatulco and coached us thru how to mountain bike Mexican style. LOL. Would not hesitate to do it again

We highly recommend a bike tour with Oscar, he's very knowledgeable and professional & attentive. He offers a variety of tours, no matter your skill level or age young or old. His bikes are in great condition and ready to ride. I used my own bike so the fee was only $500 pesos or $25 USD $35 CAD His prices are fair and affordable. We look forward to booking another tour with him. See ya on the trail chicos. 👋🏼 👋🏼 Please follow our journey around Mexico on YouTube 🙏🏼❤️ 2 Gringos On The Gulf

My girlfriend and I did a half day ride with Oscar through the national park, down to Bahia De Cacaluta. He was very knowledgeable about the local shops, history of La Crucecita, and local wildlife in the national park. Bahia Cacaluta was gorgeous and quiet with remnants of several recent sea turtle nests. We swam in the water for about 20 min and saw a spotted eagle ray and several schools of fish before getting stung by jellies (not that painful and not very common this time of year from what I understand).

We enjoyed our bike tour with Oscar. The bikes were in good shape and Oscar was very knowledgeable. We will book with Oscar again on our next trip to Huatulco.

Oscar was a fantastic guide through Huatulco National Park - he always went at our pace, was friendly and informative about the area and very helpful whenever either of us needed a breather. I highly recommend going biking with Oscar if you’re in town 😊

Parque Central "La Crucecita" is a bustling indoor market located near the Sabor de Oaxaca restaurant. Visitors can explore rows of vendors offering local handicrafts, food, and souvenirs at reasonable prices. The area is known for its friendly atmosphere and safety, making it a great place to wander around and soak in the Mexican culture. Additionally, the park features a beautiful church and various dining options nearby.
This gentleman, Sergio is an institution in Huatulco, he sells fresh coconut, he just opens it up for you with his big machete, with the hot weather here, it is just delicious, highly recommended.

You won't want to miss La Iglesia de Crucesita. We took a tour to get here. It is across from a plaza that has multiple shops around the Plaza and area. There is a large market, Tres de Mayo, across from the church. Many shop owners do not speak much English, but are very sweet and willing to help in anyway. I wanted to see the open air church right after you get off the ship in Santa Cruz. However, it was closed for renovation.

I like walking through here on my way to the store. Makes me feel like in the Mexican version of Mayberry RFD good place to meet up with friends and listen to some music or take in some local performances.

Cute little centro area. The Mercado, church with beautiful art work, restaurants, and stores are great ways to experience some of the best huatulco has to offer.

The park is in the center of great shops , restaurants, ice cream , local crafts and a great vibe during the day and night but I found the park to be extremely dirty with unfortunately homeless people sleeping on the bench's in the morning smell of urine and spots of blood on the ground I used to enjoy having a morning coffee here but not anymore ,bring in some pressure washers and give it a good clean , sorry for the poor review

The Huatulco Art Gallery is a great place to view and purchase local art. The owner, Tania, is passionate about her own work and introduces other artists from different areas of Mexico. I purchased a couple of pieces and was really pleased with her service, and art really brings my new home in Huatulco to life. Highly recommend!!
Lyfecatcher — Google review
We stumbled upon this gallery by accident, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The artwork on display is truly captivating, showcasing a remarkable range of creativity and talent. Tania and Mike were exceptional hosts, providing insightful explanations and making us feel warmly welcomed. Whether you're visiting Huatulco or live here, I highly recommend stopping by this gallery to discover stunning art and meet its fantastic hosts. A must-visit spot!
Pedro V — Google review
This is a serious gallery curated and owned by a serious artist in her own right. Tania’s commitment to bringing world class Mexican art to Huatulco is unmatched. It’s a must visit even if you have only a passing interest in art. I’ve personally acquired numerous pieces from this gem of a gallery. Marvellous!
Steve W — Google review
The best gallery in Huatulco, an incredible spot to discover new artists in a cozy atmosphere. Plus, its host, Tania, is the ultimate hostess. A perfect place to spend an evening full of art.
David C — Google review
Huatulco Art Gallery is a welcoming space where Tania loves to share her passion for Oaxacan art and artists. An extremely talented artist herself, Tania Guzmán exhibits an eclectic mix of paintings, sculptures and clay art that showcases the talent and uniqueness of this region. This is one of my favourite places to bring visitors to Huatulco and if you haven’t yet visited, you must! Also, if you’re lucky enough to be in town when the gallery hosts an exhibit, don’t miss it!
Kris S — Google review
Tania at Huatulco Art Gallery is such a trustworthy artist and young businesswoman! My husband and I live in Ithaca New York and for 20 years we have tried to find a painting of the Paris Metro by the Mexican artist Sergio Valadez Estrada. By chance a few weeks ago I searched again for this artist and found that Tania was hosting an exhibition of his work. She kindly sent pictures of his work that she had in the gallery. When I did not find a painting of the Metro, she sought out several for us to consider... And we found a fantastic painting! Tania was very kind in helping us to get the painting safely thousands of miles away. I highly recommend this art gallery not only because of the selections but also because you can trust the owner to help you in the very best way! I so highly recommend this artist in this business!!! You will find the most beautiful Oaxacan art here, hands down!! There is something for everyone, no matter what you’re looking for. Also, the collective art expositions that they host are amazing, live music, drinks and such a wide variety of art to look at, just perfect!!

Went to a group art exhibit at the Studio Gallery, many beautiful pieces of fine art from multiple Mexican artists. Cool warehouse vibe with DJ, drinks and nice atmosphere. Artists that were at this show were Irving Cano, Tania Guzman, Benjamin Sanchez, Sabino Lopez, Abdias Garcia Gabriel, Edna Guzman, and Lorena Bonilla. Worth going if they have more shows.

Beach
Playa Santa Cruz is a beautiful and clean beach located just a short drive away from the tourism marina. It offers warm water, no loud music, and a safe atmosphere with nearby restaurants. Visitors can enjoy dining on the beach and are provided with suitable takeaway boxes for their food. The area is easily accessible by walking from the city and is recommended by members of the Hotel Castillo Beach club for its reasonable prices and attentive staff.
Nice place to have a drink. There was no cruise ship in port at the time of our visit, which is probably why is was nice to visit at the time we did.

An amazing local place for lovers of Mexican recreation. The beach is strewn with small cafes and restaurants. Locals relax on the shore and in the water. A church with a view of the ocean from the altar. In the square you can witness local holidays. The food is excellent with a unique, unique taste. Cruise ships enter the harbor.
Heorhi S — Google review
A very lovely little beach. Small but perfect to meet the needs of the touring cruise ships. There was a roped off area so that swimmers didn't try to wander out to the cruise ships. Sadly, I managed to step on some broken glass in the water and had to have that taken care of back on the boat. unfortunate for a heavily used tourist beach with children around.
Graham T — Google review
Clean and beautiful beach with warm water (during right time of year), no loud music, no sales people, close to restaurants and feels like a safe spot. 🏖☀ It's also possible to ask the waiter to eat on the beach then they'll give you a suitable takeaway box for your food (remember to bring your trash back with you) Easy to reach by walking from the city.
