So, I went to Elephant Beach in the Andamans and yeah, it looks amazing at first. The water is super clear, the sand is soft, and the whole place feels like it should be in a travel magazine. But honestly? It’s kinda ruined by all the touristy stuff. There are boats everywhere, people yelling, and like a million water sports going on at once. It’s hard to enjoy the nature when there’s jet skis zooming past and vendors trying to sell you stuff every five minutes. 😬 I get that it’s popular, but it feels more like a theme park than a peaceful beach now. If you’re into quiet spots and nature vibes, this might not be it anymore. Still worth seeing once, but I wish they’d chill out with all the commercial stuff and let the beach be a beach.

Elephant beach is a small beach mainly for water sports activities. You can reach there by speed boats from Havelock jetty or otherwise through trekking for adventure seekers. It is a blue waters and pristine white sand beach ideal for snorkeling and other water sports. It offers various types of water rides and parasailing. They give you 3 hours time to explore the beach and enjoy the water sports. It has limited option for food like fruit chat, bhelpuri, papri chaat and chips etc. so bring your snacks and food with you. Overall good experience of water sports .

Elephant Beach is an amazing destination for one of the best water sports activities in the Havelock, Andaman Islands. Recommended to go here only if you want to do water activities. Persons above age 50 are not permitted for some activities & if you have any health issues & undergone any operations within three years are also not allowed. The ride to elephant beach is beautiful & gives you a great view of the island. Arrive early in the day if you are going to do all water activities because it takes 4 to 5 hrs to complete all activities. Tickets can be purchased at Havelock boarding point itself for all the rides & if u want to go for some other ride after reaching the elephant beach you can buy there also but only through cash. Tickets are quite expensive. The trip is around 2.5 kms long & the boat ride from Havelock Jetty takes about 20 to 30 mins. Activities Starts at 11:00am & ends at 4:00pm. Therefore, please plan your visit accordingly. Small amenities provided with restaurants serving seafood & local cuisine. Changing clothes, taking showers & restroom facilities are available here. To reach there you have to travel by a boat from Havelock island the ticket charges is ₹ 1000/- per person which include complementary snorkeling. You have to go & come back by the same boat & the duration you can stay at the elephant beach is 3 hrs. If you finished your activities also you have to wait for other peoples who was with you in your boat to finish their activity, at the time you can unwind & enjoy the sun at the beach with the serenity. Even for someone like myself who is not a swimmer, the experience is quite remarkable. I saw an amazing underwater ecosystem & definitely worth visiting. Snorkeling here is the highlight, offering a mesmerizing view of colorful marine life & pristine coral formations. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced snorkeler, the calm waters & professional guides make it accessible & enjoyable for everyone. Don't go for complementary snorkeling if you have done scuba. Also, complementary is only for a short distance & post that they will inform you in low voice that you are entering the paid area. Since you will be under water, you may not hear it properly & then will have to pay Rs.1000/- for that. So be careful on this. Sea walk & parasailing tickets includes with photography & videos so don't forget to get the copies. Either you can ask them to send to your mobile or you can get them if you got your pen drive there. Better to book your activities while at the jetty waiting for your boat. Keep Rs 1000 cash ready per person (as of Oct. 2025) for the return journey. I'm not a beach person but I couldn't resist myself after watching this gorgeous white sand beach. It's the most beautiful beach I've ever experienced in my life. The beach is squeaky clean. Experiencing the sunset is a heavenly experience. There's a forest on the western side of the beach. You can take a stroll in the forest. It's an awesome experience.

It's a very scenic place both during sunset and sunrise. If possible try to visit at both times. The tree with C shape serves as one of the best photo shoot location. Do utilize the photographers over here to take home some really beautiful photos. The photos we got were amazing quality and will add to the memories we had from here. Remember to be here before 5 am as usually the sun rises quite early here in havelock/Andaman. Get some hot tea/coffee from stalls just opposite and enjoy nature at its best here. On the way to main view point, you will also get few other view points which lot of people don't visit. We found one such place on the way and that also offered great views and photo opportunities. If you have rented 2 wheelers, it's a must explore.

Kala pathar beach was good. Not as big as radhanagar beach. Trees and rocks were main attraction along with beach.it was aerial view. Roads were passing sideby. Eateries shop beside selling snacks coconuts. Sts bus comes here also and goes further to village. Good to sit under the tree. Calm palce. Sitting chairs were installed by authorities. Also there is changing area too. Properly maintained.

Kaalapathar beach was stunning!! Most picturesque beach I've ever been to. It's more peaceful and less crowded than the Radhanagar beach. We brought our own mat and sat on the beach for hours and it was serene.

Was great to see sunrise... awesome place for photography especially on the rock i.e kala patthar and dried tree that makes awesome frame...lots of photograper will you find.. between 500to1500...its your bargaining skills..so do bargain at your best...Dont forget to have malai nariyal pani..that serves as an energy booster after tiredness that will keep you going..

Just a kilometer away from kalapatthar beach, this beach is not that much good in comparison to others famous beach of this island. This beach is small in size.

Awesome beach 🏖️, I would rate this beach very highly as it's not crowded at all and at some point it seems like an entire beach to yourself. This is by far the most shallow water beach, a perfect picturesque spots during sunrise and especially if time coincide with low tide, I have shared some pics. Best time to visit : Early morning at Sunrise, best photos could be captured Post noon, just chill in sea and relax in Luke warm sea water, it's therapeutic at its best.

Beach is not crowdy...well suited for those finding peace and serenity...Loved walking with my partner in evening and having fun with my kid...good to go for some hours and spend time..

The best thing about this beach is the fact that it isn't extremely crowded and you can click some really good pictures without interruption if that's something you want. It's one of the best spots for scuba diving and usually it's much clearer than the other places... Awesome spot for relaxing , if you want to take a dip the water is very clear and there's almost no trash at all just a few boats and their anchors which you need to stay away from... Although one thing I'll say is there's a lot of rocks in the beginning of the beach and you'll have to swim or walk for a while to get to the deeper parts of the sea.

Kalaphattar and Radhanagar beaches are way better than this so-called beach. Cannot swim in this beach.

Beautiful beach, This morning I visited there and I feel very comfortable. The tide is very low so everyone can enjoy it there with kids too. The sand looks very beautiful and the sea water is crystal clear, one can see lots of fish at the shore. Perfect morning at the perfect beach.

We booked Pano Eco resort and then strolled along the entire length of the beach on the early morning of 17th November!! Great experience! The sunrise was very beautiful and serenely good, and along with that we got to experience sea life as it was low tide at 6 o'clock, after which we experienced the high tide by 8 o'clock. The morning sun with the blue sea of high tide was great for many photos we clicked! The sand here is white and it gets less crowded here than other beaches of Havelock. The shallow, flat coastal bed with its numerous interrupted small and large coral outcrops and white sandy bottom stretches out much farther in Govindnagar beach than in other beaches of Havelock, hence it gives a very bluish azure tinge to the waters that is very similar to the flat sandy reefs of Maldives or Lakshadweep. We wish to come back to this beach again after my studies are over and my friends and I re-plan an itinerary again!

Witnessed a drowning as the slope is very high and so is current too. The cove beach looks amazing. But being careful n in group is advised.

Neil cove is a hidden gem of Andaman! The water here is clear and calm, perfect for swimming and relaxation. The beach is very peaceful and secluded, where you can spend time with nature. If you want a quite and beautiful place, then do visit Neil Cove

Just walk for ten minutes down Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), and you will reach Neil’s Cove.

Avoid going into the sea at this point. There have been crocodile sightings here in the past, as recent as Jan'24. Also an American tourist was killed here in 2010 by a crocodile.

Secluded & Wonderful place just about a KM walk on Radhanagar Beach

This was my favorite thing I did on havelock. I am not able to scuba dive due to a medical condition but snorkeling with Anurag and Shangik made sure I didn’t miss out on the beautiful plant and animal life on the reef. Saw sea turtles within 5 minutes of going out, as well as a family of rays and stunning fish, coral, starfish, lobster, and more. Comfortable swimming and some stamina necessary, but the water was very calm and it was an easy way to see a beautiful beach and the beauty that lies beneath the waves.

I went Snorkeling with Mr. Anurag Karekar and team, in Havelock and it was wonderful! The whole activity was guided by him and I got to see many fish and corals. There’s a lot of passion in these activities which made me enjoy the session much more.

We went in the open water with a boat and snorkeled around the coral reefs. Pretty amazing

We had the best experience in all of Andaman at this particular resort in Havelock. The rooms, entire property basically, were very clean and had a rustic aesthetic, the service staff were exceptionally good, prompt and warm, ask them for anything, and they'll get it to you in a jiffy (quick shoutout to Ashok and Pooja). The manager Deepak was extremely hands on, took extra care to personally attend to each guest, making sure they feel at home plus have the greatest trip. Deepak curated an exceptional itinerary for us, got us contacts at every water activities and even arranged the commute. I'd highly recommend using his contacts for scuba diving and Elephant Island tour, it'll save you money, time, hassle and from being scammed. Stay at this resort exceeded expectations!

I had a comfortable and memorable stay in this property. Best location, cozy vibes and so much of greenery. Great behavior by the staffs and great hospitality. What else do u need. Book this property right away without thinking. Mr Deepak even helped us getting a ferry which was almost impossible because of independence day holidays . The stay was amazing it was 10 mins drive from jetty and 2 mins walk to vijay nagar beach. Deepak and ashok was of great help they helped us arrange scooty and best scuba diving experience. Only drawback was there in house restraunt was closed when we visited. Apart from that it was a great stay.

Had a nice experience at Havelock Island. We can reach there by a ferry from Andaman port. Main attractions are Radha nagar beach for sunset. It is a white sand beach, very clean considering lot of tourists visits the beach. Can go for a trek to Elephant beach. You have water sports there. Local bus is also available to travel within the island.

Stunning Island Getaway! Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) is a tropical paradise with pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, and a peaceful vibe. Radhanagar Beach is absolutely breathtaking, and snorkeling at Elephant Beach was a highlight. Great for scuba diving, relaxing, and disconnecting from the hustle. Limited internet, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommend for a serene, nature-filled escape!

Absolutely incredible scuba diving experience! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, safe, and a whole lot of fun. The highlight of the dive was definitely our instructor, Akshay. He was knowledgeable, calm, and super patient – especially with first-timers like me. He explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. The underwater views were breathtaking, and Akshay even pointed out some amazing marine life we might have missed otherwise. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a safe, memorable dive. Overall a very good, professional experience. The trainers are patient, encouraging & helpful. There's couple of options, tribe gate & juvis. I went with tribe gate & managed to spot 100+ spectacular fish & corals. The only thing that didn't sit well with me was the photography. The photos don't do justice to the actual experience. See for yourself. The photographer should have moved around with us, instead of just rooting himself to a single spot where there was only a single clown fish. I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean, and scuba diving had been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember! Finally, I got the chance to visit Havelock and fulfill this dream with Blue Coral Dive and what an absolutely surreal experience it was! Words truly fall short to describe the magic I felt underwater. It was hands down one of the best decisions of my life. The team at Blue Coral Dive is simply outstanding supportive, professional, and incredibly friendly, making the entire journey smooth and unforgettable. An easy 10/10 experience, highly recommended to anyone who’s ever dreamed of exploring the underwater world! <3

Was a right decision i would say. I took Island Hopping with them and i was accompanied with my Family by a great Team. „Bunny“ and his Team was expectional from Snorkeling, to the Sunset views , they guided us and explained us everything. I would genuinely suggest this place!

From Port Blair it takes around 3 to 4 hrs to reach Baratang Port from where you will have to take a speedboat ride through mangrove forest and then a 10 mins hike through forest. Such a beautiful tropical place to enjoy natural beauty, we loved it such a pretty things to acknowledge but we overlooked most of the time. You will feel yourself in another world like Hollywood movies.

To reach place take a speed boat ride for 15-20 minutes to visit this amazing mangrove forests. All the way you can see mangrove forest near the side where the boat ride happens. From the way, entrance to limestone cave, the mangrove forest is deeper and so nice to click pictures. The walk from mangrove to limestone cave is nice especially the village in between

Forest was good but dont touch them as it create itching on skin

A true blue travellers dream is to go through all the adventure to be here. But come what may if you're a motion sickness buff and hate tot travel. Then Please avoid going as the distance is alot and you will have to change cars. Then two ferry rides. Then a half an hour trek and then visit the not to attractive caves.

I suggested this to my friends they were so happy after this activity. If it's dark night then you can see bioluminescence in the water in green and blue color. When you touch the water with paddle they get irritated and glows. They provides good service with well trained instructors and most of them are divers too. They know rescue scenarios also. Nothing get worried about. After this activity my friends told me that this was the highlighted activities they have done in Havelock Island, below this review i post their photos too. Thanks a lot.

Mangrove Forest, Andaman and Nicobar Islands

When we started from Baratang to Limestone caves it was pleasantly drizzling and the boat ride between the mangroves was amazing with light rain on our face. The mangrove forest was pretty dense and beautiful with many shades of green It was quite a sight until the rain started pouring hard and we acknowledged the real thing that is called forest. It took lot of will power and absolute desire to visit the caves that we completed What was supposed to be a simple tourist attraction, visit to Limestone caves and mangrove forest become a lifetime adventure for us All thanks to nature

Krishna is amazing. This is absolutely not what I expected when I signed up for a nature trail. I had been to radhanagar before but with Krishna, I discovered it again, in a whole different light. His knowledge about the place and local ecosystems is astounding. If you’re a plant person, this walk is perfect for you! If not, it’s beautiful nonetheless because I would’ve never chanced upon the things he showed me by myself. Also, I was laughing the whole three hours, Krishna left me splits! I was really bummed the day was over. Strongly recommend this experience for anyone going to havelock. Thanks Krishna :) keep doing the fantastic work you’re doing!! :)

Krishna is amazing. He keeps everyone interested and has in depth Knowledge of flora and fauna. It was a memorable in the forests of Radhanagar beach. Definitely something not to miss if you are a nature lover

This hike was a great adventure in night. with torch in hand we embark a journey to forest and learn all about how the big talll tree grow and survive. Must hike in havelock.

Nature trails is one of the off beat things you can do in havelock to get to know the island in a most intimate way and not just as a tourist. We stopped multiple times along the trail, sometimes to go into the forest looking for a specific tree, and sometimes we stepped on the beach looking for a particular crab or a bird. We had the most amazing and extremely well travelled guide Dr Krishna with us on our trail to kalapathar beach. He kept us entertained with his sense of humor and dint turn the whole experience into boring lecture. He showed us the things which were out there but still out of our sight due to ignorance. We were introduced to a whole lot of new flora and fauna indigeneous to the islands. He answered all our queries and opened our minds to new questions of which we will keep on try and find answers. We ended up having a new perspective towards the natural life and how we are so dependent on it. We got to understand the beauty of coexistence and how humans can contribute in their little ways to protect, preserve, care and love the mother nature.

AAAmazing, me being a local of Havelock, hosting and guiding travelers around this island for since 4years, been to that trek of Radhanagar between the majestic Sea Mahua forest more than Krishna for sure, didn't noticed such things and how he's engaging with me and his humor is too good, the information and the story he being a historian it is a perk, when we call this island a biodiversity hub, this tour will make you feel that it is ture, from trees to sprits you will be mind blown for sure, I higly recommend this Natute walk with Krishna. I was sceptical about attending the trail as I was not sure whether someone would be able to hold my attention for 3 hrs talking about plants... What a knowledge gain it was.... Krishna caters according to the knowledge level of his customer thus none of his customers are left bored .... Everyone who comes to his nature trails leaves with a smile on their face and beautiful memories in their brain and picturesque photos in their mobile phones and last but not least respect towards nature

We were a group of seven with three teens and booked an all day trip with various activities. The boat, called Calypso, seemed small for our group but we managed. The captain, Bibek, and his team of two were excellent. They knew the spots for picture perfect snorkelling experiences. We went to two different spots including South Button Island. A special permit is required and the team arranged in advance. We caught a total of 4 GTs (Giant Trivali) and lost two. Lunch was arranged on-board. It was simple Indian style vegetarian lunch and tasted good. Tips for tourists: - Bring lots of sunscreen and wear full sleeve comfortable clothes all the time, even when snorkelling - Request full face snorkelling masks in advance

We hired Calipso for a day of fishing. And it was a great decision. We enjoyed every bit of our fishing trip. Captain Bibek and his two helpers ( Sorry, forgot names) were very professional, knowledgeable and took good care of us on board Calipso. Bibek exactly knows where to take his guests, where to go fishing, where to go snorkeling. Team served very higene and delicious lunch. There was cooler full of drinks to enjoy our boat ride. We went in without any expectations, and yay we caught four ~8kg fishes ( ~30Kgs) . We took one out of four and had it cooked for dinner. Bottomline, A very must try when you are at Havelock Islands. Highly recommended!! Note : If you are going on fishing trip, wear lite coloured full sleeved shirts., Sun shades, hats etc. Sun over sea can be harsh. Don't forget sun screens..

Hi Just spend 3 days with Andaman game fishing, we had some outstanding fishing with monster Giant Trevally nearly as big barracuda`s and so many Wahoo that we lost the count. We did an overnight trip too barren island and too be in the boat so close to a lava spitting vulcano was an experience that I will never forget.... The staff was really good and they could guide us too the fish we normally wouldent have caught. Soren K. Andersen

First came to India fishing. I found that to Indian fishing. In this world it is not very well known. Andaman game fishing but was able to provide very good service. I feel very surprised. Best available lounge/restaurant in Havelock Island. Service and food was perfect. We went there for two consecutive evenings. We ordered Pina Colada, Peri Peri Pizza, Mangolian mocktail, Threaded Paneer, Schezwan Cottage Cheese Coin, Mozzarella Cheese Fingers. These dishes were amazing and mouth watering. They have the separate parking. Good and neat washrooms. They have live music for all days except Monday. Highly Recommended!!!!

Found the place from reviews online and decided to give it a try. Me along with my wife visited the place and it was just amazing. Warm greeting and vibrant ambiance marks the place. For lunch we ordered crabs and its simply amazing. Well cooked and infused with delicious flavours, its is definitely something to try.

We tried this place for brunch and it was quite good. Tried their seafood platter, PeriPeni Pizza and Chicken sizzler. All the food items were really good. The environment of this cafe is also really nice also their service was excellent. Definitely recommend. Cheers! 🎉

If this is the #1 restaurant in the island, I'd suggest go eat to the cheaper looking restaurants. I guess you'd get the same quality of food at a way cheaper price. We spent 120€ for two people: 2 starters, 2 mains a shared brownie and their cheapest indian white wine. Do yourself a favor and don't you dare ordering calamari. They were absolutely horrible. Loads of oily breadcrumbs and little squid. The little squid they used it didn't seem to be fresh anyways so... The tiger prawns were more like... kitty prawns? In 500 grams they were 11 of them. That gives you a clue of how small they were. The lobster... Wasn't cooked in the way we would have expected but the taste was ok. Nothing special. The brownie: please guys, stop putting that burning stone. It makes the syrup get burnt, it chars the brownie in a not pleasant way. PS the waiters were super nice and attentive.

We are very much delighted to have food at this restaurant, we tried many other restaurants but in havelock swaraj dweep this is the best and reasonable. My spouse tasted sea food and non veg they were very much good. Also veg is also very good for paratha they are using whole wheat, even Kulcha was good, Momos were good, Thai Green Curry with fried rice is good. This is must restaurant to visit on your trip I strongly recommend.

We visited this restaurant around 3 PM, which was likely why it was quiet and the staff were in the middle of cleaning. The interiors were aesthetically pleasing, and I imagine the atmosphere would be more lively during peak hours. The menu had a good variety, including some continental options that set it apart from other nearby places. We ordered Chinese, and it was okay—nothing exceptional, but decent.

It’s always one of my favourite places in Havelock. Food is great, huge variety, staff is attentive and service is fast. ✨ Had the chicken platter and ice cream other day and tasted amazingly. They even take card payments. Value for money is good. Only thing I’d improve are the seats which I don’t find so comfy and also should open the room with pillow-seat on the floor. Great overall 🥰

Visited this beachside café and absolutely loved the laid-back, beach shack vibe. The place has a relaxed charm that makes it perfect for unwinding by the sea. Full Moon Café was a very nice dining experience in Havelock. We went once for breakfast and loved it so much, we came back for dinner the next day. The setting is beautiful, right by the beach, with a breezy and relaxed vibe that’s perfect any time of day. For breakfast, I had a bowl of fresh fruits, a soothing ginger lemon tea, and a heavenly stack of Nutella pancakes. For dinner, we started with a snapper ceviche and snapper carpaccio, both light and zesty. For mains, the steamed bamboo fish and Bengali-style paturi were packed with flavor and cooked just right. And the perfect ending? A banoffee crumble that was absolutely divine.

Ambience is great but food is okaish (7/10) and it also has very good beach side dining for which they charge extra 10%.. for morning breakfast i would recomend 💯..

Food was excellent! Tried the prawn curry rice, Prawn Manchurian, Fish finger, rice and dal tadka, orange juice (Fresh squeezed juice), and a few other items. There was also a banana toffee with biscuit crumbs served for dessert - don't remember the name, but it was out of the world. Service was great too.

Don't misjudge the place looking at the entrance Walk through the lane and you'll find the cafe. Good food and good place Definitely give a try Liked Coconut Golden prawns and Bamboo steamed fish. Both dishes are not spicy so if you like spicy food you wouldn't appreciate it much. Banofee pie is 👌

It's a nice place with very accommodating staff. We had ordered squid and didn't want it to be very spicy. Unfortunately it was spicy we complained to our server and they got it fixed for us. Their chicken noodles were also nice. Over a good place to hangout there are cats in the restaurant and too many mosquitoes as it's an open restaurant. Please carry your odomos with you.

The ambiance of the place was really good. The staff are very welcoming. The food was somewhat good. They should improve it a little. I ordered Fish wrapped in banana leaf which was cooked well but it lacked flavour and the seasoning was not good. The condiments given with the fish was a portion of Jasmine rice which was very flavourful. I also ordered crispy squid which had good flavour but was too oily.

Date of visit: 29th December, 2021 (lunch and dinner) One liner: A pretty decent place to have food from in Havelock Island. We visited this place 2 times on the same day. Not because there weren't other places we had left to try out, but because of our preferences. First, we went for lunch. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and a Squid dish for the side. The food was pretty good. No complaints. For dinner, we wanted lobster. We went to 3 other establishments in search for lobster, but none were serving it. We came back to Fat Martin after they said they had lobster in the afternoon. We had our Lobster with Plain Rice and ordered Chili Chicken for sides. The food was pretty good. Chili Chicken was okay. We liked our lunch experience better than our dinner experience here. In the afternoon they accepted payment via Google Pay, but for dinner they insisted on paying by cash claiming some "internet issue." A note to people who are not fond of pets. There was a cat problem here. Cats were roaming around inside the restaurant and they sometimes sit under your table or chair. Verdict: Can be visited for the food.

While Asani has stuck Havelock and it's raining, all the beach activities are closed and prohibited. Day started with this news when we arrived Andaman/Havelock today. Rained n we were indoor mostly but then what made my day and was the best part was this restaurant. Humble people, clean and calm ambience and great food. While at all other places i was denied lobster due to the rain condition, this place had it. I took the masala lobster and it was amazing. The taste was more than amazing and I ate to my content. This place closes around 10, so last order is by 09:30. Price is reasonable. Food quality is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was served fresh and hot. Thanks for making my day as this was the only but best part of my day.

FAT MARTIN The place had a Dimly LIT ambiance, the counter on my left, a neat bed seating area on my right and as you walk in you see all these beautiful pictures on the walls, there is enough space for a large family to sit and enjoy ordered some fried pancakes with ice cream - Oh my god it was delicious! The next day I went back for breakfast, Ordered some pancakes with banana Nutella. Well, this is a perfect place to chill read a book and get some delicious food with a great ambiance.

The food was great, loved the banana leaf wrapped fish. It's a small place with 3 tables. Only prob because it's a open cafe, a lot of flies were hovering over the food.

This is one of the most visitable place in havelok island We came here around 8:30 pm Dance floor was ready and many couple and other members were dancing and enjoying there. We loved this place, we enjoyed candle light dinner over here. The arrangement was awesome.

Compared to all other clubs this was the best ambiance very cool place and young energetic staffs who served food and alcohol as i preferred but the prices were toooooo high which if reduced a bit will be more crowded . Anirudh and ankush at the bar were too friendly and know perfectly how to Handel customers . It’s a late post u had Ben on 22nd march 2025. Overall it was a fun experience , people with deep pockets must visit this place

I had a really very good experience this place, On my marriage anniversary, staff on time arranged a nice decoration for candle light dinner and provided me excellent service. The staff celebrated cake cutting ceremony and me and my wife enjoyed it a lot. Talking about food, I like the taste of the food and drinks they make here, I really like to suggest to visit this restaurant.

We spent 3 nights here — with our 6-year-old — and the experience was memorable from the moment we arrived. The welcome drink at the entrance, followed by a photo near the beautiful big tree, set the tone for a perfect stay. A special thanks to Debradita, who thoughtfully framed and gifted us that lovely picture — such a warm gesture! The entire staff deserves appreciation — from the friendly buggy drivers, the ever-smiling front office team, and the attentive reception staff, to the courteous restaurant and housekeeping teams — everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The lobby was always inviting, and every interaction felt personal and genuine. The property is spotless, the rooms are spacious, and the beach access is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty buffet breakfast spread— a big shout-out to Shubam from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to ensure our little one’s meals were customized and even packed tasty breakfast for us on the morning of our early ferry. We also used the resort’s concierge taxi services (Port Blair Airport to resort), which were extremely well-organized. The staff helped with our luggage and even carried umbrellas for us under the afternoon sun — small touches that truly made a big difference. This is great help as it's quite a walk in the scorching sun in havelock once you deboard till the taxi stand. Overall, this resort is a fantastic place to unwind and relax as a family. If you’re visiting with kids, a stay of 2–3 nights is ideal; beyond that, its difficult to keep them engaged. Perhaps adding a few board games or children’s books would make it even more perfect. My kid spent time in the pool, beach and carrom. A big thank-you to the entire team for their warmth, professionalism, and hospitality.

Overall great experience. Few good things -1-bed comfort was awesome - one of the best 2- great staff and hospitality 3- team went over and above in making stay comfortable. 4 - beach was just walk away and in front of resort best beach that’s added advantage of location . Other few things needs to be improved would be great and make experience great when visiting next time 1- food options and variety very limited considering when you go to such place you dependent on food in the resort . It was same food for breakfast almost all 4 days , not even setting was changed 2- room can have some study table or table to keep gadgets / food 3- tv channel limited need to work 4- should have shuttle service to jetty ( hardly 25-30 min) inclusive in package , as that’s only way to reach in and out .5- considering size of property having some house phone within reach will help reach out to reception or baggi request where ever you are on property . 6- it’s too dark in restaurant during night meals it was difficult to even see menu 7- restaurant mats were smelling all 4 days as if not washed dried well , we did get it removed

Jagdeep the duty manager hand held us from the first day and pampered us to the core.we were celebrating my birthday and my son's 18th birthday in advance during this trip.rhw staff took good care. Big shout out to Jagdeep and team in cooperating with us when our ferry got cancelled and we were stuck in havelock.shw really gave us assurance and checked on to us till we got the ferry back.

Was in Havelock as we call it the Swaraj Dweep now with office colleagues and thought off visiting this premises for lunch. I was completely mesmerised by the tree cover and that trees as old as 500-600 years. It was sight to behold On reaching the restaurant we learn that they have buffet but we decided to sip in some cold beer and order food of our choice. While they do have large selection of food but I think I could not find much of local delicacies which we expected. Nevertheless, the food we ordered was good and the host took good care of us. There was an outside seating as well but the view of the sea was not clear due to cover of trees and shrub, although the sound of waves was audible. I think it’s a great place to stay amidst nature and spend some quality time with loved ones.

Excellent resort. In every aspect its on par with many famous international resorts. We specially thank Mrs. Kaur and her team for their excellent guest srevice. The resort is a very cute one with all you can ask for beach pool scuba center restaurant. We stayed only for a night . The staff for scuba was excellent. Akash and team took good care during scuba. Ajeet was the coordinator for the entire trip of 5 days in havelock.anand our driver did an excellent job. Ajeet handheld us from the first day till the last day when our ferry got cancelled and he made sure we get the first ferry the next morning to reach our airport in time. An average resort. The rooms are not well made and ordinary. The linen is dirty and seems used. Toiletries are not good and the towels are bad. Every room has a damp smell. Food and drinks are exorbitantly costly and not recommended. The chef seems to be average. Better have all meals in a restaurant called ‘Something Different’. You will not regret. Breakfast menu is poor and not made well at all. Best avoided hotel or resort.

All the staff members were extremely professional and courteous, making the entire experience truly pleasant. Booked both a scuba dive and a snorkelling session with the dive master. They do the dive and snorkel both at the nemo reef at Havelock. Not sure if there is a better spot anywhere else in Havelock. They charged 5.5k for scuba and 3k for snorkel for my child. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at ease. The dive itself was smooth and enjoyable—though I was hoping to spot a bit more of the underwater magic. That said, I did get lucky and saw a big fish (wish I remembered the name!). All in all, a great experience! P.S. located at a walkable distance from havelock jetty.

I have always had aquaphobia, but with the help of Albert (my instructor) and the amazing support of Manoj, Sukanta, Don, Tarun, Fulla, and Mose, I was able to overcome my fear and enjoy scuba diving at The Dive Master Havelock. I had my first scuba diving experience, and it was absolutely amazing! Despite having no prior swimming knowledge, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the dive. My instructor, Deepak, was incredibly skilled, patient, and trustworthy, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Underwater, I was mesmerized by the stunning corals and the vibrant variety of fish. It was truly a magical sight! I highly recommend this experience to everyone, whether you're a swimmer or not. I took up Padi open water diving 3 day course from 'The dive master'. Saurav was my instructor and no doubt, he was the best. He boosted my confidence when I was low, had my back when i was panicking and taught me in the best way. I found a hobby!!!! And with Albert my instructor i couldn't have asked for a better experience. He made sure I was fine all the time asking with hand gestures and helping me when I felt uncomfortable. The dive master is one place I would recommend everyone as they made the whole experience seamless and as much fun despite heavy rains!

The property is located at about 4kms from the jetty ghat. It is a beach side property, the beach can be accessed anytime. The beach area is not upto the mark, as some of the benches are not properly cleaned, but it is okay. The rooms are somewhat expensive and the interior feels like a little cheap. This is the reason why I gave the rooms a 4* Now, coming to the good sides, 1. The service provided is exceptionally good, you can ask for anything and it is provided within no time and that too also with extra amount from what has been asked. 2. The behaviour of the staff is very polite and humble. They will always help and guide you. I personally had a conversation with one of the staff, Ritom. He explained me the history and geography of the place. 3. I had the opportunity to be at their service for candle light dinner aside beach. I will carry this memory with me for a long time. It was wonderful. Having dinner served aside bay of Bengal in the middle of starry night is something you always want to have. At last, I would recommend this property for any young couple who are looking for a getaway vacation. Me and my wife has a lovely experience at the resort.

One of the best properties in Havelock as it is very centrally located. Just 7 minutes away from the ferry terminal, major cafes nearby, scuba 🤿 centres and everything else. The property is pretty 😍 the hospitality is amazing, food was okayish. They also have access to a private beach 🏖️ which has beautiful swings as well. They also arrange special dinners as well and the pool 🏊🏻‍♀️ area is very lively in the evening. Although the rooms could have been bit better in terms of color theme palette 🎨 and in room services. Rest everything was good!

This is Harish Manigandan from Mumbai. I stayed in Aquays Resorts (Havelock) for 3N with my family. It was really a great experience and we had a very nice hospitality service. The food was really authentic and delicious. The staff were very kind, gentle and so much responsible in every aspect. The room we booked was Lagoon Plaza. The rooms were very well maintained and the room service was a timely thing. The stay was really above all of our expectations. I would recommend anyone to stay atleast once in Aquays to experience a great stay.

The place is wonderful, with very attentive and caring staff. The swimming pool was clean, the place is beautiful and the food is nice. As a suggestion of improvement, it could be good if the music were a bit lower in the swimming pool area for a more relaxed atmosphere. Abhishek served very well and all the other people too. It was pleasant stay for my family. The location and its private beach is amazing. Nice swimming pool. All staff are well trained. Manager Mrinal and receptionist are well behaved and co-operative. The Aquays is good for couples and family.

This is a five star property in Havelock however, I have given them 4 star just because one thing - we booked a standard room and nowhere it was mentioned that these rooms are across the road to beach, pool and the restaurant. So apparently the property is situated in two parts and separated by a busy road. This was actually a spoiler in the beginning so see to that. Apart from that the service is top notch, the food is good too and staff is simple and sweet. They even gave us packed breakfast on pur scuba day since we would miss our included breakfast buffet. The beach view is superb and the highlight is those swings on the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious and so was the pool. We even tried their spa and it was amazing!!! Overall a great place to stay but do keep in mind the above while booking if going for a standard room.

This resort is the best accommodation you can have at Havelock. It boasts great wooden cottages, swimming pool, classy restaurant and a private white sand beach which is just beautiful and pristine. You can spend hours in this beach alone. The staff are very welcoming and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are absolutely clean. Their restaurant offers delicious cuisine including fish, crab, chicken, local dishes and a lively bar.

The rooms are big and clean with a nice bathroom. Location is great, with a nice private beach with amazing sunrises. But the best part of the hotel is the staff, from the receptionists to the boys in the bar and the restaurant. We were always treated like home making the stay amazing. If we ever come back to the Andaman Islands, we will definitely come back here. Thank you to everyone :) <3

Rooms are actually very big and comfortable, and yet I gave 4 rating to indicate that walls are peeling off at some places and are in need of renovation which the resort is working on already. Otherwise, great luxurious stay, mesmerizing private beach, good food and all stuffs are very courteous and helpful. Specifically our interaction with Iba in reception was every time very pleasant and fruitful.

The experience was great. Full marks to the very hardworking and attentive staff.The service staff was outstanding. Dephi at the restaurant was always attentive and cared for us with a smile. The housekeeping staff - Arvind, Bhootiya, Shanta and Sangeeta were super helpful, always smiling and attentive to my old parents needs. The amenities in the room were high quality. Regarding the hotel, WiFi is weak. Don’t expect to be able to work or take calls from the hotel. This is understandable given Havelock is still developing and is in the middle of the Andaman sea. Overall a good experience and would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay.

I recently stayed at De Foret, Havelock, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The resort is beautifully nestled amidst lush greenery, giving a true “in-the-forest” vibe — calm, serene, and perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, with all modern amenities and a cozy, natural touch. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Special mention to the restaurant team — the food was delicious, especially the seafood dishes and local curries. The resort’s pool area and landscaping are stunning, and the property is maintained really well. It’s about 10 minutes from Radhanagar Beach, but the peaceful setting more than makes up for the short distance. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet nature-filled getaway in Havelock, De Foret is an excellent choice. Would definitely love to come back!

We are very happy and glad to meet Chef Anshu Thakur at the restaurant during breakfast. He’s very humble and accommodated our special food requests. Everything in the buffet tasted really amazing, didn’t feel like we were away from home. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality, especially Ms. Iban who took good care of us during our visits to the restaurant. Front desk people were also very polite and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to everyone coming to Havelock.

The rooms were comfortable though a little dimly lit. Rooms were free of insects and pests which is usually expected in a property surrounded by so many trees. Very courteous staff and helpful people right from the front desk, restaurant staff particularly Iban who went out of her to make us feel comfortable. The food was good and made to our taste specially since we were travelling with a kid. Thank you Team De Foret for a lovely stay and experience!

This restaurant/hotel is very close to Radhanagar beach. We visited their restaurant for dinner when it was raining and we were drenched and there was sand all over us because of the beach. We requested for towels to freshen up, and they were very helpful. Very good service, and the food was very good too. Raman Thakur was helped us with all the service. We were very happy. Anand Singh, the chef had prepared very tasty starters.

Nice but need to arrange for more & better seating arrangements at the waiting area. Presently, 70% passengers, including physically challenged and senior citizens are bound to stand in the open area under direct sunlight.

You have to exit through an open area and if you are reaching in the afternoon, do plan accordingly. There are some waiting areas which are covered. The exit gate is at a walkable distance, It is very hard to reach the exit gate especially when you are loaded with luggage and kids , and you also have cycle safaris available to transport your luggage. Most of the cab drivers, tourist agent would be waiting outside the exit and since it is a small place finding them should not be a problem. There are multiple shops outside the jetty area. But costly so when you reach the local market buy from there or take with you from port Blair

Stayed for 3 nights in March third week. The property has a very nice beach which is clean and quite. But no beach beds. Swimming pool is good and plays lively music and lights making it enjoyable in the evening. Restaurant serves delicious food. Superior rooms are far better than Premium rooms. They have no lifts so climbing Stairs can be an issue for elderly. Overall it's a nice resort.

Been recently to Sandyy Wavess for 2 nights. Overall experience was nice with little drawbacks. Good Points are, rooms are well maintained, beautiful, homely with fairly good service. Pool area near to the rooms can help you feel refreshed. They have a private beach area with mostly low tide. You can relax and enjoy the beach. Downside is mostly limited food options especially if you are a vegetarian. Dining hall and reception in the same Hall. This makes it very chaotic sometimes. In our room especially taps were broken and limited toiletries. But you can call the service and get it anytime. There is no market or any other beach nearby to go to, except for their private beach. Overall stay was comfortable. You can enjoy the property.

The hotel property and location is fabulous. There is a private beach and beautiful swimming pool. But the worst part is food which is too highly priced and food is tasteless. Apart from this most of the staff are rude and they don't know how to behave with the tourists. Although the hotel is very beautiful and cosy but the food and staff forced me to give 1 rating..

A Decent Stay with Beautiful Ambience but Some Limitations. We recently stayed at the SANDYY WAVESS beach resort and had a fairly pleasant experience overall. The best part about the property is the room view—many rooms face the swimming pool, offering a refreshing and relaxing vibe. There is direct access to the beach from the hotel, which is a big plus, although the beach remains at low tide most of the time, making it less ideal for swimming. The rooms are decent for couples, but if you’re traveling with a child and need an extra bed, things can get quite congested. Bathrooms are clean and come equipped with all the necessary bathing supplies. Breakfast is just okay—options are limited and tend to be repetitive across days. There’s no gym or kids’ play area, which could be a drawback for families or fitness-conscious travelers. However, they do have a pool table, which is a nice touch. One of the highlights is the beautiful sitting arrangements near the pool and along the walkway to the beach—perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening. One thing I personally didn’t like was that the reception and restaurant share the same hall without any partitions. It takes away from the overall ambience and can feel quite chaotic at times. Location-wise, the resort is quite far from Radhanagar Beach, which is a bit of a downside, especially if that beach is high on your list. However, it is relatively closer to Kalapathar Beach, which can be convenient for a peaceful outing. Overall, it’s a good choice for a short, relaxing stay if you’re looking to enjoy a quiet atmosphere by the pool and beach, but there are a few compromises to keep in mind.

First of all the food was absolutely amazing! Each and every dish we tried was great! The staff were so nice and helpful! Lastly the property is absolutely gorgeous we loved the rooms and the private beach! Overall it was an amazing experience couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We 2 couples with infant stayed here for 2 days. The rooms are fine but the food and service is pathetic . Price of the food is too high and quality is not at par. Specially some of the staff are very rude. Not recommended from our side.. hotel owner should take recognisation of the matter

Absolutely incredible scuba experience with Dive India Havelock! Our instructor, Mrigank (with over 4000 dives!), instantly made us feel safe and confident. You could tell he noticed every detail about us, adapting training to our strengths and natural styles. His structured feedback, discipline, and even surprise skill tests kept us sharp while still having fun. He taught my wife and me to work as true dive buddies, making our very first dive feel magical. Yashna, assisting him, has such a calm, positive presence — it kept our spirits high throughout. We got to truly enjoy exploring underwater while training to become divers. Couldn’t have asked for a better team or experience!

Dive India at Havelock is an absolutely amazing centre for scuba. The instructors are very professional, friendly, and make you feel safe, even if you're a beginner. I was very nervous at first but my trainer Rebecca made sure i was very comfortable and made me feel at ease in water. She was very patient and answered to all my queries. At one point I even told her that I wont be able to do it in deep waters but she motivated me and gave me confidence. The underwater world they guide you through is mesmerizing—clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant marine life and i was the luckiest one who got to see an octopus. The team ensures an impeccable experience from start to finish, including high-quality equipment and personalized attention to everyone. I highly recommend Dive India to anyone visiting the Andamans. Hope to return for another dive adventure!

Where to start!!! First of all, hatsoff to everyone involved. I was contacted by whatsapp after inquiry by Mr.prady. He arranged a free pickup and drop from my hotel.. Then the instructor himself "Mr.Pranay", no words for his skill and patience. He explained the process and preparation. Gear was in good condition. I panicked in the first 2minutes of dive but he didn't let me back out. Told me to stay calm and we did it and I'm out of words. Its another lifetime experience. Thank you to all. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants not just a scuba dive but a lesson in life itself.💐

This is a small 2 kms trek which will take you to Elephant Beach. The trek in itself is easy to mid level - might take you somewhere around 30-45 mins to complete one side. The beginning part is pretty easy with good trail paths through forest. If you start early on the day, due to high tide the last 500 meters will be through a muddy mangrove which is easy to do, but be prepared for a knee deep water crossing. You also need to register your name, entry and exit timings at the entrance of the trekking. Guides are available for Rs. 500 but optional (even though they might push you to take it). We went without guide and enjoyed the trek.

It's a great experience to have in the island Instead of going by boat or something you should try this walking path, it connects you with nature and gives a full trekking experience. The route passes through a forest which offers variety of plantations that are ancient and only found here. It's such a calming and soothing experience. It takes you directly to the elephant beach where you can enjoy water activities... The path is amazing just you have to be prepared for walking, jumping, climbing. The path closes with sunset as it is not safe due to the wildlife here. Keep in mind the timings and your safety and try to have a guide with you he will help you alot.

You are nature lover,you are bird lover, you are not too lazy to walk, then you must go through this gorgeous path. In andaman you have to take boat for several time but you wouldn't get many chance to walk through nature, here you get this opportunity. Trail is very easy,only 30-40 minutes walks with some resting point. There is free parking lot at the begining of the trek. They will ask to take guide but you can manage it with your own. Yet you can hire one as the people there were very very helpful and honest.

About a 2km hike, takes about an hour to complete, passes through a village, reserved forest and a mangrove forest before connecting to the Elephant Beach Must for nature enthusiasts, the guides are very friendly and helpful Ps- Try avoiding it when it rains or you're going to slip every few steps

Elephant beach is one of the most popular beaches to visit in Andaman and mostly famous for water activities run there. There are two ways to reach this beautiful beach. You can take the jetty on the way to Radhanagar Beach there is a path that leads to elephant beach. Or you can reach there by walking which is a kind of jungle trekking. Since the jungle is under a reserved forest area so the forest is deep and there are many paths which can lead to the beach and of course there is a path Marked clearly as the way of elephant beach and it continues until the destination through it is better to have a guide with you. The guide will not only help you to the destination but also provide various information and help you to find different types of trees and enrich your knowledge. Most of the guides are Bengali so if you are a Bengali then it's a plus one. It took almost 30 minutes to reach the beach and it was a wonderful experience and a little exhausting. The path is not a smooth path. There are ups and downs. And it is rough again due to the elephant's foot prints. We hadn't seen the elephant but the guide told us that one elephant is still there. Overall it's a great experience but remember one thing if you go to Elephant Beach by walking then you have to return in the same way, you can't go back by jetty. So if you have no problem with walking then you can try this path.

The kind of place that calms your mind and brings a smile to your face with their amazing hospitality. Very nice room sizes, overall cleanliness, food, greenery and private access to the beach. They also have a bunch of complementary activities, some weather permitting. Can’t recommend enough for you to stay here. Especially if you’re a morning, let’s catch the sunrise kind of person, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s on the side of the island known for its sunrise view. The food in their in-house restaurant is quite nice too. This place costs a pretty penny for sure, but for the kind of comfort, service, hospitality and sustainable luxury you experience, I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. 10/10 overall. Tilar Siro is a beautiful resort located on beach number 5. The east facing beach adjoining the resort is peaceful and has good views of the sunrise. We were travelling with an infant and the helpful staff ensured our stay was effortless. Sri Lakshmi, a passionate naturalist, took us bird watching and on intertidal walks, which were enjoyable experiences. Sonam, Beauty Rose and Ankan in the restaurant catered to our infant's every need. Sneha at the front desk was also very helpful and answered any questions we had. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a tranquil place surrounded by nature.

Much more than just a resort. We had an amazing stay at Tilar Siro. Rooms were amazingly clean, and the rooms and the overall resort was really beautiful in a lush environment. The complementary high tea was also a nice touch. Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. What sets the resort apart is the nice pool, private beach access, good food, but above all the daily lectures by the general manager (e.g. about the tribes, bird life and marine life). Also the morning bird watching with the on site biologist was amazing. We had a small child with us, and the staff helped us a lot, the staff was really nice to her, and really did the extra step of bringing us milk for her, or an extra change of bed sheets when necessary. I would really recommend this resort and many compliments to the entire staff.

The SPA team was exceptional and offered a relaxing experience that completed our stay perfectly. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel truly cared for. Excels on everything! They have the most courteous and friendly staff, amazing rooms, great guidance on activities, live music, high tea, a stunning beachfront! It rained for the three days we were there. And we still loved our stay at Havelock because of the hospitality!

A beautiful property. Such well kept rooms. Best part of it was the greenery. Infinity pool. Private beach. Evening talks on tribes and sea life were amazing. Their welcome drink was too good. My mother had an accident in the hotel. She slipped in rain. The floor was slippery. But the staff was so cooperative. They served meals in the room. Shanya was too good in our kerala spa and very helpful lady. North-east waiter I forgot his name 'mayek ' may be was so humble and cooperative. But there was one more waiter who was taking the order for live cooking was not at all humble. He was not even smiling. But overall experience of staying in this property was too good

Our stay was memorable. Nice big rooms,top notch location,warm hospitality of the management is worth mentioning. But,few aspects need attention: 1) Cobwebs noticed in corners of room and balcony. 2) Garden isn't maintained properly. Lawns not trimmed during our stay. 3) Quantity of food is small as compared to price and taste doesn't live up to the expectation.Better have lunch and dinner outside. 4) Balcony is without any fan and so it's uncomfortable to sit there. 5) For a room tariff of 22k,old Tata sky cable TV and a TV with non HD picture is simply not done.

I had booked 8 fun dives and well ahead requested that I wanted to dive at the premium sites of Havelock for most of my dives. I had previously dived in Havelock's Wall, Slope, and other sites, but never had the opportunity to dive in any of the premium faraway sites. So I booked with Barefoot, hoping everything goes as planned. Cut to the day I reached their resort; the place looked beautiful. I booked their hut, and it was so simple and perfect for someone staying for multiple days. It had a mattress, table fan, mosquito nets, and power boxes. The common washrooms were very clean and were cleaned multiple times a day as well. Coming to the main part, fun dives, I thoroughly enjoyed the dives, the boat crew's work, the Barefoot team's work, and the cafe, not to forget. The instructors and DMs planned and communicated the dive plans very well. The dives were very safe despite the group consisting of 10 fun divers. The equipment and gear were maintained very safely and cleanly as well. Every day, the packed lunch was just too delicious—brownie points for that. By the end of day 4, I had dived in Johnny's George, Dixon's Pinnacle, Jackson's Bar, Minnerva Ledge, Broken Ledge, White House Rock, and SS Inchkeith. I'm very thankful to the team for planning my dives in a way that I was able to dive in every site I intended to at the beginning. I will definitely recommend Barefoot to anyone who's considering diving in Havelock and will look forward to diving with them again. PS: The cats and puppies at the resort are too cute and friendly. Please pet them for me if you're planning to go, stranger.

We can compare with other dive centers in Asia and this was so far our best experience. The whole team was very friendly and professional. Our special thanks belongs to our guide and master Mia. Not only she took care of our dives making these "special" but also gave us worthy informations about local sea-life, diving skills as well as about Andaman & Nicobar islands, local habits and people. I had an incredible experience with Barefoot Scuba, a PADI 5-star dive center. I enrolled in the Discover Scuba program, and from start to finish, the team made the experience seamless and enjoyable. The instructors were friendly, highly experienced, and took the time to explain the basics of scuba diving in a 20-minute theoretical session. After completing the registration on the PADI website and the e-learning material, we moved on to a hands-on practice session at the beach, where they demonstrated essential scuba techniques. This practice lasted about 20–30 minutes, ensuring I felt comfortable before the actual dive. We then headed out to deeper waters by boat for the dive itself. The instructor was incredibly patient, encouraging me throughout the experience. The dive lasted around 39 minutes, reaching a depth of 12 meters below sea level. It was an unforgettable adventure, made even more special by the stunning underwater scenery. To capture the moment, they took high-quality photos and videos with a GoPro, giving me lasting memories of this incredible experience. I’m truly grateful to the entire Barefoot Scuba team for making this such a beautiful and memorable dive!

I received a recommendation from a friend to visit Barefoot Scuba Resort, and after conducting some basic research, I decided to book my stay. The response from Sonal, a company executive, was very prompt and clear, with no ambiguity. Despite my last-minute change of plans, she kindly accommodated me. I visited the facility in May, and the pick-up and drop-off service from the airport to the ferry was impeccable. The staff were punctual, always wore smiles, were well-groomed, and the taxis were clean and well-maintained. The resort is located by the sea with a private beach, and all the rooms are made of wood. The rooms feature soft, subtle lighting, an AC, table fan, tea kettle, geyser, towels, soaps, and a bed with a mosquito net. One reason to stay at this beach rather than Radhanagar Beach is that the sea here is flat and shallow. You can walk a kilometer into it without the risk of drowning, and the water is much clearer, making it easy for both adults and children to swim without fear. The breakfast at the resort was excellent, and the café was clean and well-maintained. Regarding scuba diving, Barefoot Scuba Resort is the first IDC-certified PADI 5-star dive center in India. I took a full scuba refresher course followed by fun dives. My instructor,AMITH KUMAR , took care of everything and explained everything patiently. He was very professional and ensured that all equipment was properly arranged the day before the dives.He was very co operative during dives too checking periodically that everything was alright. Other instructors, including Akshay, Mia, Aadhya, Kingston, and Saili, were all extremely supportive and helpful. The resort follows stringent safety protocols and never compromises on the rules, ensuring that every dive goes as planned. I highly recommend Barefoot Scuba Resort for scuba diving; they are one of the best in India. and im coming again with my family next time for sure , thanks barefoot.. u guys are amazing

We visited Havelock in Jan 2025 and booked two full day fishing trips with Captain Qutub. Captain Qutub is a live wire full of energy and excitement he is a great educator on fishing as well it is obvious that this is what he loves to do! We were not able to hook and monster fishes but did end up hooking some good sized GT and now hope to up our game with another visit to Captain Hook!

We're looking forward to coming back for the marlins. And I do miss the freestyle bbq fish from amazing chef 🤗🤗🤗 Such a memorable day. Thank you, caption. 🥂

Spent a wonderful GT fishing day trip!! My colleague and I chartered a fishing boat as 1st time Great Trevally fishing tour. We spent a good 8hrs and got countless fishes including 3 GTs, 4 mackerels, 2 snappers, and many others. Also enjoyed snorkeling when got tired in the afternoon. Thank you Captain QUTUB !!🎣

We had a great time fishing with Captain Hook’s—The captain was informative and helpful, and we were able to catch a beautiful fish! We also went to a few snorkeling spots that were breath-taking. Everyone on board was very friendly as well, we had our best day in Havelock thanks to this crew. I certainly recommend checking them out and spending some time on the boat! Don’t hesitate!

We booked for kayaking through Mangroves experience with Mr. Ali. It was overall fun and quite managed trip thanks to Ali and his team. Mr. Ali has extensive knowledge of Andamans. We would highly recommend this experience.

Night Kayaking It was a wonderful experience..... Mr. Ali explained everything to know about kayaking. It was our first time to kayak but we are now confident to do it. We had to postpone our trip date because of heavy winds Mr. Ali ensured our safety to not to go out in that rough environment & it was for better as the next night was a new moon and thus were able to enjoy the magic of bio luminescent waters better. Mr. Ali also explained about the constellations, stars and many facts about them in a very beautiful way. Also we were explained about the mangroves & the bi diversity of Andaman The trip was worth every penny and more....

It was a clear day when we went for kayaking. Mr. Ali met us and explained the basic rules for kayaking. He explained everything so politely and assured our safety during kayaking. My wife was very afraid initially, but he made sure that she feels comfortable. Ultimately we went in the sea and started the lifetime experience. We visited mangroves creeks and mangroves island during our kayak tour. Mr. Ali has deep knowledge about the islands and mangroves. Because of his explanation, we fell in love with mangroves. I suggest everyone to try this when you visit havelock..

Amazing experience. Although the bioluminescence was not prominently visible during this time. Still our guide Arjun did his best to show us light bioluminescence and helped us with so much more than kayak. Gave us the knowledge about islands in andaman, activities on each beach. He also helped us identify some rare corals. Would definitely recommend best kayaking.

We had a great experience kayaking in the channels of Havelock and seeing the mangrove forests. While we kayaked, our guides offered insights into the nature and peoples of the Andaman and Nicobar islands, and took pictures and videos of us kayaking over the course of the outing. On the way back, they encouraged us to take our time so we could observe the coral reefs from our kayaks. Overall A+ experience!
