Alcúdia, located in the northern part of Mallorca, is a charming town known for its stunning Mediterranean beaches such as Platja d’Alcúdia and Platja de Muro along Alcúdia Bay. The well-preserved old town is surrounded by medieval walls and features narrow streets and centuries-old buildings. Nearby towns like Pollenca offer a quieter experience with opportunities for leisurely strolls, al fresco dining, and access to hiking and cycling trails.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Hidropark Alcúdia is the only water park in the north of Majorca and a popular attraction for families. Conveniently accessible from Alcudia old town and the city center, as well as from the beach area and Port de Pollenca, it offers over 40,000m2 of water fun with slides, wave pools, spirals, and other exciting attractions suitable for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy a more relaxed experience at Alcanada Golf nearby.
Great park, the family really enjoyed it. Had to pay for your sun loungers but no seats anywhere so had no choice but to pay, was the only negative to the place. Absolutely worth a visit.
John C — Google review
Not bad, some good slides. Kids had done them all in space of 5 minutes which was good not having to queue. However be aware, you have to pay for a sun lounger, they're not included in entry price and you also get hounded by the photographers which really ruin the mood. Worth a visit though.
DEAN B — Google review
Had a great day at the waterpark. Took a 5-year-old and he loved the series of slides for children UNDER 120cm. They go down themselves on rubber rings or mats. We rented 3 sunbeds at additional cost so we had a base / some shade to cool off in. Queues weren't long at all, waited a few minutes tops for slides. Deducted a star as there was a power cut later in the afternoon which meant all the slides stopped, and the card machines weren't working. Would recommend water shoes if you have them, the ground is toasty.
Rowena M — Google review
Situated just next to Club Mac, this water park is super convenient if you're staying nearby. It has plenty of slides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone can have fun. We visited in October, and although the water was quite fresh (no heating!), it was still really nice to be able to enjoy the slides and pools at that time of year. The weather was pleasant enough to spend the whole afternoon there. There’s also a restaurant and snack area on site, which makes it easy to grab lunch or a drink between slides. The toilets and general areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to spend a relaxing family day, especially if you want to mix some fun water activities with a bit of sunbathing. You can easily walk over from Club Mac, and after a few hours, just head back for dinner, super convenient! Tip: bring your own towels, flip-flops, and maybe a bit of patience if it’s busy, but overall it’s a fun, safe, and family-friendly water park worth visiting.
Desi M — Google review
Very relaxing very good music the slides are unreal and the wave pool is amazing the staff are sooo kind and great for families or thrill people and great for little ones
Charlotte S — Google review
Went with my 13 year old and 4 year old both had plenty for both age groups to keep them entertained. They both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Keighley P — Google review
Good fun. Online tickets are cheaper. Photo service they provide is a rip-off.
R P — Google review
Do not recommend for fall holidays. (October) At a steep price of 84 euros for 1 adult and two children they still charge extra for a chair and even for a locker. It is ridiculously overpriced. You´d expect the water to be heated at this price but no such technology is present. Outside temp 23 degrees C yet the water is freezing cold. Not suitable for small children. Stay away! Spend your cash somewhere else.

Alcudia Old Town, located on the other side of the island from Palma de Mallorca, is a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by stone walls originally built for protection against pirates. This old capital of Majorca offers a strong sense of history with Roman ruins, a Bullring, and charming cobblestone alleys lined with small eateries and boutiques. The 14th-century walls provide stunning views of the town.
Wow. Absolutely beautiful day in Alcudia Old Town, visiting the medieval city, walking around the Roman Ruins and enjoying a relaxed day with the family. Word to the wise - if getting a cab, book before 08.30. This place gets seriously busy and we waited nearly an hour to be able to get on the bus back to Alcudia Port. Lots of good and drink options. The market is a bit overloaded with cheap dresses and trinkets but the food market is authentic and affordable. The stand-out is the Roman ruins. Among the best and most interesting sites I've ever visited. You have a real sense of what it would have been like to be there, walking the halls of the Forum and down to the Amphitheatre. 100% recommend a visit.
Nick P — Google review
We visited Alcudia Old Town on market day and really enjoyed it. There were plenty of stalls spread throughout the charming old streets, offering a wide variety of items – from clothes, bags, and souvenirs to handmade crafts. What stood out this time was the increase in local food options – lots of tasty treats, cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce to try or take home. It had a great atmosphere without feeling too chaotic, and it’s a nice way to spend a few hours exploring. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Paul H — Google review
Beautiful place and easy to get to on public transport. Plenty of places for food, and the quaint little shops are lovely to look around! The walk round the wall was also breath taking, and the view from the top is definitely worth it.
Emily T — Google review
A must visit if you’re in the island of Mallorca, Spain. Walked along the iconic medieval wall for panoramic views, had the most delicious seafood lunch and drove for 10/15 minutes to see the stunning view at la Victoria beach.

The old town of Alcúdia is absolutely worth a visit! 📸🌴 Narrow streets, historic buildings, and a charming atmosphere make walking around a real highlight. Perfect for strolling, discovering little cafés, and soaking up the Mediterranean vibe 👍

A simply amazing place with lots of culture, great bus access and why not stop off at the port as well. Nice stroll and some cool shops just respect the area and the locals, places like this need protecting!

Lovely part of town with a gentle stroll through the streets. Good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants and some lovely shops too. Parking can be tricky sometimes but worth a visit.

Muddy's Wood Fired Grill is a laid-back steakhouse that offers locally sourced aged beef and boasts a terrace with stunning bay views. It stands out as one of the best steak houses in Mallorca, offering beach views across the Bay of Alcudia. The restaurant prides itself on cooking all meats and pizzas in wood ovens using oak wood and features a ripening chamber for dry-aged beef, ensuring perfect maturation for at least 28 days.
Straight away when you walk up it’s an ocean view, incredibly beautiful. All the staff were men very professional and polite and very service minded. Our waitress recommended the fillet out of the meat and to be fair it was juicy and delicious. We also got the ribs and a pizza . Everything was very well cooked and very tasty. I truly recommend this place .
Nadia A — Google review
The restaurant offers a lovely location with beautiful sea views. While the kids enjoyed their standard meals, the adult dishes were quite disappointing, especially considering the price (€32 per meal). My rib-eye, though on the bone, offered a meager 6 oz of usable meat. Both our steaks came with 'baked potatoes' that seemed microwaved and tasted unappealing with their creamy filling – a proper oven-baked option would have been far better. We expected more from the adult mains, given the restaurant's popularity and other reviews.

Steakhouse in Port Di Alcudia. Upstairs location with open air resteraunt with good views of the beach. Excellent music & good vibes. Always Very busy so booking is a must. Fast table service and did not wait long for drinks food etc. Moderate price meal for two roughly €100.... 😋

Beautiful views, beautiful food, great cocktails, great service and atmosphere. Really reasonably priced. Recommend pre booking a table as very busy Even sang me happy birthday

It wasn't that loud at all and I loved the music that was playing it was dolly Parton and Elton john and some others. The food was really nice I got the new York strip which was cooked PERFECTLY 👌 the waiters where so so friendly and asked us if everything was good with a smile. And I would say the food came out pretty quickly. The decor in the restaurant was so nice the lighting was perfect and you get a perfect view even if your not in a 2 person group which they sit nearest to the balcony.
Sian — Google review
The food was good, the view from the terrace was nice. The staff were friendly. It took a long time to order even if it wasn’t that busy. Overall it was a nice place to have lunch.
IULIAN M — Google review
Wasn’t as great as was expecting. Very touristy hotspot, loud music and a lot of crying children. It was great with the starters to begin with, went for the nachos and Cajun spring rolls. Was very decent nachos, would go for just that! But the mains were a huge let down. My quesadillas had no meat, no flavour and way too much cheese. Same with the fajitas; need more seasoning but at least that came with quac and salsa to add some flavour. The chips were nice a crispy though
Helen O — Google review
Lovely meal with fantastic views. Would recommend making a reservation beforehand as the place is quite popular and the seats with views are limited. Meat and sides were very good quality.

Sant Jaume d'Alcúdia, located in the heart of the Old Town, is a grand Gothic church with a small entrance fee. Inside, visitors can admire ornate altarpieces and intricate stained glass windows while experiencing the peaceful atmosphere. The church also houses a museum with extraordinary historical objects and offers wheelchair accessibility. Additionally, it hosts the annual Sant Jaume Festival in July, featuring colorful parades and traditional dances.
My wife and I bought tickets for the symbolic price of €1. Inside, there are quite a few exceptional pieces on display, representing the heritage and nearly 800-year history of the church. A variety of priestly vestments are displayed on the balcony. Definitely worth a look.

Outdoor Activities
Alcudia Beach, situated on the northern coast of Mallorca, is a renowned tourist attraction in Spain. This 7-km stretch of white sand and shallow waters offers an accessible boardwalk, restrooms, and showers. With its historical significance dating back to Roman times and its popularity among tourists visiting Majorca, Alcudia Beach provides a wide range of water sports and recreational activities.
One of the best beaches I have been to in Europe. Not so crowded on the weekday but can definitely get on weekends. This stretch of beach doesn’t include any sport activities. Morning walks here were just a treat to the soul.
Shankey S — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach. It is suitable for children. The sea is shallow and not deep. The water in the sea is warm, more than 28 Celsius. There are bars, toilets on the beach. It is possible to rent bed and umbrella for an extra fee.
Vladimir M — Google review
Beautiful white sandy beach. Near the marina, the water is very shallow, perfect for small children. Lots of free toilet blocks along the main stretch - all clean and there are outside showers for hosing off sandy feet. Parasols and loungers available - council run so prices the same along the whole beach. Various pedalos and SUP's to hire but area of use quite small. Sightseeing boats trips pick up at the 3 piers along the beach as well as the marina. Independent each bars at the marina end of the beach, as most of the bay is hotel fronted but more basic cafe's forming part of the toilet blocks. Due to the size, the beach didnt feel too busy.
Mel S — Google review
Alcudia Beach is a lovely spot with soft sand, clean warm water, and plenty of space to relax. Since it’s right in town, there are lots of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Parking is easy too, with many options around—some paid, some free. A convenient and very enjoyable beach day. 🏖🏐

Really long beach, beautiful scenery. A lot of rental chairs but sections in-between and in front to set up your own towels. Calm water as a bit sheltered. They have an accessible section with a board walk out to the water. Well maintained. Beach cafes with toilets every so often too. With baby changing tables! Showers along the boardwalk too

The restaurant seamlessly blends the heritage of an old fish market with a contemporary revamp, offering patrons a stunning view of the sea. Diners can relish an array of top-notch Mediterranean and Cantabrian Sea dishes at this exceptional establishment. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a unique and thrilling culinary adventure.
Amazing restaurant with live music and lovely interiors. The terrace is on the street but still has beautiful views of the port. The food was very tasty and well presented, portion sizes were really good too. Highly recommend the tuna croquetas (delicious!!!) and the fish. The burger was also nice! There was a bit of a queue outside but we managed to make a reservation on the same day
Mery B — Google review
We made a reservation as we saw on social media and reviews some positive feedback and expected it to be busy. The food and drinks were ok but not amazing. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would not suggest the seafood paella. I don’t have a photo but the taste was not as expected. The food I believe was kept too long in the serving dish or in the oven. Some of the seafood was overcooked and the crab legs were there for show only and with no meat. Plus my partner found the remanence of a stock cube. I was expecting more for what was seen on other reviews. Unfortunately I would not recommend to others for evening meal but maybe lunch for a quick bite as some other dishes were better.
David K — Google review
This place is really good tbh, we didn’t make a reservation and just asked at the door, luckily there was a table free so definitely book in advance, the food here is really nice, me and my partner enjoyed our time here, the price of it does seem reasonable we were 90€ for 2 starters and a paella plus 2 drinks and bottle of water. Matthew (mateo) our waiter definitely deserves a raise he was so kind and welcoming. He was telling us all about the food and how big the portions were, he knew what he was on about because we were full after the meal.
Ciaran ( — Google review
Beautiful and stylish restaurant space, with very kind and attentive staff, and food that completely impressed us. The croquettas were by far the best we’ve had in Mallorca, and the paella was divine. The crème brûlée was a bit unusual - I wouldn’t quite call it a classic crème brûlée, as it had a firmer consistency than usual, but the taste was good. The drinks are truly top-notch. We definitely recommend this restaurant, we love coming back here every year!
Ivana B — Google review
Oh my word the food here is incredible. The pasta withe seafood and spicy sauce was the best thing I've ate in a while. The kids burger and the special burger were also incredible. The paella looked incredible too. The staff were all amazing too, attentive and very friendly. The toddler in our party was a big fan! Thanks!

Location is right by the port and I would recommend making a reservation as I line was forming when we left. We got the fried squid and scallops to start- both were amazing wow. Seafood paella was also good and the portion was huge- just wished we had utensils to open the shellfish. Overall a great meal

Bistro Mar is a relaxed venue with outdoor seating and marina views, located on a spit off the waterfront near Botel Alcudiamar Club. The restaurant offers seafood, meat, and pasta dishes. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Diners can enjoy lovely wooden thrones at the tables with views of the beach on one side and the marina on the other. While it can get busy, making a reservation is recommended.
I had a wonderful experience at Bistro Mar. The staff and waiters were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The seafood was truly exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish was a delight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and excellent service in a beautiful setting. I will definitely come back!

Really enjoyed our visits here! Firstly its a super location - right on the marina. The views are incredible. But more importantly the food and service are both amazing. We had breakfast and dinner here (twice each!) and both experiences were incredible. The outdoor area is spacious and airy with wonderful views. We spent two mornings and two evenings enjoying the wonderful food and views. The staff are friendly, service is quick and the food is excellent. Eva was so friendly and welcoming. Also they are really good with kids! Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Seems very popular- it was always full and im not surprised! We'll see you all next year!
Cliona M — Google review
There are lots of tourist traps by the beach but luckily I had booked here a couple of weeks in advance. We sat inside and had a wonderful Lobster rice to share. The starters were good but this rice was really tasty. They brought the live lobster to the table before cooking it and you could tell. The flesh was soft and succulent. Nothing sticking to the shell (sign it's been frozen beforehand) another recommendation.
Jared K — Google review
Service was fantastic, and the views, atmosphere and food were equally fabulous. It's also very fairly priced! I had the tuna tataki and it was amazing. Only FYI is that the chairs are heavy wood - fine for us, but tricky for those with mobility issues.
Catherine C — Google review
Great location, but paid car park is not always available. Very good food, especially fish, but service is terrible - slow and indecisive. There are many waiters, but it seems that an old lady is the only person to take orders, recommend food and settle the bill.
Dwa K — Google review
I’ve eaten here 2 times during my stay in Mallorca. The first night I was quite pleased with the seafood paella, it was about how I expected it to be, although the taste didn’t have much depth. It didn’t feel like it was «made with love». The 2nd time I had nr 64 (Brocheta de rodaballo y langostinos with «lemon» sauce) and was extremely disappointed. I was expecting a nice and fresh meal with perhaps some salad and a summer-y light lemon sauce. What I got, was fish and shrimp (they were ok at best) with a whole BAKED POTATO that had only some aioli on top and boiled veggies (broccoli & cauliflower) as sides. First of all, please mention what sides the dish comes with in the menu (they didn’t). I would not have bought this dish if they actually managed to give an impression of the full dish in the menu. The «lemon» sauce didn’t even have a hint of lemon taste, but reminded me more of a failed heavy cream with butter sauce that you would eat with cod in Norway. I only managed to finish the fish and shrimps before I started feeling unwell because of the really unappetizing sauce. I don’t even know anyone that would like to eat a meal like that in a warm summer night in Mallorca. I cannot properly express how disappointed I was with that second meal, my girlfriend also ordered the same and was equally disappointed and we were just talking about how much worse the taste got with each bite we took. The service was also not great, not once did anyone ask us about how we felt about the food. I was waiting to explain what I didn’t like about the dish, but never got the chance. If I were you, and considering where to go, I would honestly recommend against this restaurant. There are other restaurants that are cheaper, have better service and better food.

The clams were good, but a bit expensive for the quantity. The hake was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately both it and the side dishes were tasteless. The burger was also cooked perfectly, but like the hake, the burger was also completely tasteless.

Great Italian restaurant. Pizza very good. Not sure why Amstel on draft - which is the worst lager - and not a decent Spanish one. If need be Cruzcampo which is also owned by Heineken (or better Moretti - but Italian although still better than Dutch on a Spanish island) 🍺🍺🍺
Stephan P — Google review
The setting is lovely and the service efficient , the pizza is great bit needs a bit more because it was a nit soggy . The food is above average but the menu could have more protien options . The ambiance is a winning combination especially if you sit outside . The waiters were swamped and it didn’t help when my daughter asked for ketchup 😂.

Very friendly staff, fair prices, and authentic Italian cuisine make Osteria El Patio a great choice. The pasta served in a pizza bread bowl was an absolute highlight. The covered terrace in the courtyard provided a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere, even on a rainy day.
Daniel ( — Google review
We ordered the mortadella pizza and linguine vongole and it was amazing. Both dishes was just what we hoped for and better. The service was really good and the location is perfect. Good wine and home made desserts made the experience even better.
Oda S — Google review
This is an authentic Italian restaurant in Alcudia old town. I tried their focaccia and classic pizzas and they were pretty good though there could’ve been a bit more cheese on the margherita. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner, this is the place to go in Alcudia for genuine Italian flavor. Prices are fair. One tip: make a reservation. For some reason, they’re often fully booked (even on weekdays, at odd hours, and during the off-season). I still haven’t figured out why, but it tells you something.
Alperen T — Google review
They serve amazing pasta here, and the pizza is just perfect, with the right dough and real Italian toppings. Everything we tried here was incredibly delicious!
Ekaterina M — Google review
I really didn't like the service and atmosphere at this place. The waiters took our order and went off laughing happily among themselves. Twenty minutes passed, and it turned out that they had simply forgotten about it and hadn't passed it on. They brought me tiramisu with a piece of plastic in it, quite sharp, thank God it didn't go to a child. When the people at the next table left, the same two waiters stood there and laughed at them, it was just disgusting!

Ancient Ruins
Ruines Romanes de Pollentia is an ancient site dating back to around 100 BCE, featuring the remains of a Roman forum, theater, and residential area. Visitors can immerse themselves in the town's rich history by exploring well-preserved medieval walls and the ruins of Pollentia. The old quarter exudes a timeless charm with its narrow cobblestone streets leading to quaint squares, traditional shops, and cozy restaurants offering local cuisine.
The 4 euro ticket together with a small museum north of the site, is more than worth just for the amphitheatre, but there are also 2 village remainings to check out. There is an audio guide and you get a small leaflet with information. Very friendly service.
Marin K — Google review
Absolute bargain at €4 a ticket. Spent about 2 to 3 hours wandering the site and having a picnic. Fantastic way to spend a morning. Ticket includes museum entry. Its only small in comparison to the ruins but still worth a look. Closed during May Day.
Emma J — Google review
Splendid and affordable! You can take a nice walk from the residential area to the forum and then to the theatre. The ruins look marvelous and are sufficiently described in three languages (Spanish, English and Mallorquin/Catalan?). You can find here many benches to take a break and ponder over the ruins. The place is also quite interesting for observing nature. The museum shop, although small, sells some nice items!
Suzanna O — Google review
This is a very unassuming place. Entry was about Eur2.50/person and you think it’s just the ruins you can see! Well, buckle up as you’re on the start of a long walk! Look at the map in the guide. It takes you on a walk down past the first ruins and on to the Forum and finally you make it to the amphitheater. Now walk all the way back up! Along the way are signs in multiple languages so you can follow the story as you go. Loved it!
Adrian S — Google review
Nice walk around Roman ruins wasn’t expensive and plenty of information well worth a visit spent just over an 1 1/2 hours just having a good look around
Neil F — Google review
Very interesting and low-cost attraction if you're in the area and in the mood for some history. Entrance fee was €5 for 2 people. Lots to read about!
Edie — Google review
Nice place to visit, very interesting next to the old town. But there are three roman sites, so we missed out on two. That will be for the next time we go!.

AQUA Alcudia is a Mediterranean restaurant located in the Nautical Club of Alcudia, offering stunning sea views and a large terrace for a relaxing dining experience. The restaurant is known for its high-quality gastronomic offerings, particularly in fish, seafood, and pizzas. Visitors can enjoy Italian cuisine at Varedero and savor delicious snacks at the snack bar. Guests can expect to be seated promptly and enjoy a high standard of food while watching the evening sunset.
Landscapes 10+ Friendly service and good coffees, drinks and ice cream, for example. It was nice to sit here in the early evening, looking at the sea. A truly amazing place.
Jukka T — Google review
The food, unfortunately was subpar in accordance with the price and location, for example the lasagne was lacking in flavour and over-topped with cheese, I LOVE cheese and I had to start pushing it back as the amount was making me feel sick. The garlic bread was uncooked. Service wise, a drink was incorrect, they forgot one of our drinks and ,shockingly, a meal also. My family started their meal and I sat there with nothing and offered no complementary. Also I generally tip when I am on holiday and for 2 adults and 1 child it came to €96.50 , I gave €100 and the did not give me my change.
Leah B — Google review
We had some coctails here at night. The view here is the best in the city in my opinion it is rigth next to the water overlooking the beach and the entire bay. The place has some nice decor and have ligth on the palm trees that provide an expelent atmosphere. The coctails were well made and delicious.
Tamás K — Google review
It’s a bar with an absolutely unbeatable view, probably the best in Port d’Alcúdia… If you’re looking for a place to sit and enjoy the scenery, this is it. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end. I ordered a double espresso with ice, and it was a disappointment from the start. The espresso itself was watery. And when they first brought the ice, it wasn’t even proper cubes, just a few tiny pieces like the ones used in cocktails. I asked for more ice, but the change was minimal. When I poured the espresso in, it instantly melted, leaving me with a hot diluted drink (as I said the espresso was already watery). Only after asking for a third time did they finally bring the proper ice cubes they should have served in the first place. It’s the most basic order on their menu in my opinion, I mean it’s just espresso and a glass of ice… If a bar can’t even manage something as simple as an iced coffee, it doesn’t give me much confidence in their ability to make more complex cocktails…
Alperen T — Google review
What a spot! Aqua Restaurant offers an amazing view right on the Alcudia marina. The service was fantastic – really friendly and attentive staff. The food was also very good and tasty. A perfect place for dinner with a stunning backdrop. We will definitely be returning.

This place has a snack area which is different from the restaurant section. There, you can go with your dog to drink something and have a snack watching the sunset with a nice refreshing wind. Quiet atmosphere with low music to have a nice conversation. Pet-friendly

The restaurant is beautiful and the location is perfect. You sit right by the sea and can enjoy the sunset. The view is truly fabulous, and it’s definitely worth eating here and taking in the stunning scenery. The paella was very delicious and can even be ordered for one person, unlike the usual minimum of two. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant itself is very charming.

One of the best dining experiences in Alcúdia! Still thinking about the food days after our meal. We ate in for dinner during our holiday. The food was absolutely delicious. We had tried to walk in on the first night but the restaurant was completely full so we made a reservation and we were all so happy we did. The service was wonderful, the cava was the best I've ever had. Every single dish we had was so tasty. It was a little bit pricey but absolutely worth it. We had a few different tapas, all delicious. The Majorcan sausage hot dog was my favourite. The vegetarian tom ka curry was gorgeous.

As you wander through the enchanting streets of Alcudia, make sure to pass through the historic Porta del Moll. This impressive stone gate, flanked by two crenellated towers, dates back to the 14th century and was originally part of the city's fortifications. The gate not only serves as a grand entrance but also connects visitors to vibrant shopping streets filled with local treasures.
Huge free parking. Clean streets and lot of shops with nice people. Definetly worth a visit after being on the beaches around the island. :)

We almost overlooked this place and went to Port d'Alcudia instead but absolutely glad we came! A beautiful old town with surrounding wall. A proper gem of a place with fantastic market stalls. A beautiful church to visit and the town center is very nice.

Alcúdia is a small gem on Mallorca that took my family by surprise. We took a laid back stroll through the neat narrow streets packed with local crafts and arts, bars and restaurants which felt like going back in time.

Beautiful, enjoyed the shops, restaurants and bars. Amazing place with fantastic atmosphere
Tracy B — Google review
Such a lovely surprise to see the remains or the original castle and town wall’s protected and preserved. It was fun walking the whole perimeter to see what was on offer. There were a queue of people waiting to get up and down the wall steps but this was no major issue. The walls made a fun backdrop to the market that went on all through the town. It was a great Sunday visit.
Paul S — Google review
Wow, standing beneath the ancient stone arches of Alcúdia’s iconic gate feels like stepping into a medieval tale! The weathered towers whisper stories of 14th-century Mallorca, guarding the old town with timeless charm. No ticket needed—just wander through and soak in the vibes. Visit early morning for golden light and fewer crowds; the nearby cafés serve killer cortados to fuel your stroll. Did you know this gate once shielded the town from pirate raids? Pair your visit with a walk along the old walls for epic bay views

Initially visited the Faro Beach Cocktail Bar for a few drinks during lunch and were impressed by the warm hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. Decided to return for dinner a couple of nights later, which turned out to be an excellent decision. The food is absolutely amazing, expertly prepared, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous and provide great value for money. The ambiance is relaxed and pleasant with a DJ accompanied by a live musician that complements the atmosphere perfectly.
Faro Beach is my favourite place in Alcudia without question. It offers a perfect blend of live music, delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and exceptional service. Whether you're looking for a lively night out with friends or a romantic evening, this venue is sure to exceed your expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alcudia.

Where to start! We initially visited for a couple of drinks at lunch and were so taken aback by the hosts hospitality and friendliness that we came back a couple of nights later for dinner. One of the best decisions i have made. The food is to die for! Excellently prepared, fresh and cooked to perfection. Generous portions and good value. The atmosphere was really nice and chilled. There was a DJ with a live musician that complimented the vibe perfectly. Just about everyone were up dancing and enjoying themselves. It really is worth the extra walk to the end of the strip to get here. I will defiantly be making a return trip and will insist that all my friends that visit the island in the future do too!

Faro Beach Bar holds a special place in my heart. We where on a vacation to Alcudia in June with the missus and to be honest it was a bit off-putting when we first walked by due to some hard gangsta-rap coming from the bar. To be fair, I'm not against the style itself but it was a bit strange for a bar like this. However, this not-so-perfect first impression quickly vanished when we walked in for a beer before our ship sailed out from the port. The waitress was very lovely (shout out to Lucia, I hope I got your name right!), the cocktail and beer was top notch. A day after we returned for more cocktails with friends and then later for a dinner during which live music was playing by two lovely guys and a guest girl playing flute. Man it was magical! The musicians were really into it and created a buzzing vibe for the bar. The mojito was good, the food was good. If I'd live in Alcudia, people would have a hard time dragging me out of this bar.

Oh my word, what a lovely place. We found this the nicest bar/restaurant in Alcudia . The tapas were so delicious, and our cocktails were so strong and tasty. The host man was so friendly and reminded me so much of Fred Sirieix . The staff were really friendly and so helpful. We wanted to eat there again on our last night (Tues) but it was closed . We was absolutely gutted . Wish we knew as would have gone Monday night instead. Definitely recommend this place. Great food. Tasty cocktails and lovely staff. Altogether, a fabulous atmosphere. We'll done guys. X

Had brunch and dinner here. The scrambled eggs with bacon and walnuts were absolutely delicious but the octopus rice was to die for. I have never had octopus cooked so perfectly. Miguel was and excellent server as were the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or a drink.

Great restaurant. Everything was well done (except the mussels - either frozen or cooked too long). Really nice drinks and coffee (with plant based options). Really nice staff as well. Nice views from the restaurant. I’m Spanish and the only downfall of this place, are the prices, for the kind and amount of food we ate, a bit expensive. But I understand it’s high season and relatively new restaurant. I would still recommend. It is expensive to go out nowadays anyways.
Lidia E — Google review
Beautiful restaurant with a great view of the beachfront, which is reflected in the prices. The quantity of the items we got varied wildly. Didn't expect the calamari to be premade/frozen, the beef cheeks was well cooked but under seasoned, and the pork skewer appetizer was spectacular. Reiterating some other reviews highlighting slow service; if you're in a rush this is not the restaurant for you.

Too bad I found this place the last day. This place is just great. Extremely good food. The street seems busy at first, but don’t mind that. This is the best food in Alcudia. The owner was there both evenings, is very involved and cares about his guests. Definitely a restaurant to visit during your vacation!

Never do a review or leave a tip. Now i did both for this place!! Very very nice restaurant (9,5/10). Service is really great. Quality of the food is perfect. Very nice list of wines. Music is great as well. Just such a nice setting. We had the black angus carpaccio 9/10, fried pizza with ragout 9/10. The carbonara (fresh pasta was amazing) (8/10) Pizza diavola (8/10) Mucho mas rose 7,5/10 and red mucho mas (9/10) Owner told us that they opened just last week. This place will be full every evening when it is more known for the tourists and locals. Just a few recommendations: Be careful with the salt on the pasta. There was a little too much salt on the carbonara. Not too much cheese on the pizza, less is more. Quality is great. Sharp knife with the pizza More time between the starter and the main course. Show some pictures of Italy (amalfi coast or something) on the television inside!! We will be back!! Gracias.

Every dish was special and we really enjoyed it. The service was incredible and the sommelier helped us pick a very special wine. We recommend to anyone open to food creations and for the ultimate dining experience.

Booked Maca De Castro in advanced for a very special occasion. The team went above and beyond for us, faultless from the start. The sommelier was informative and professional, he recommend us a beautiful wine for the tasting menu. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about every dish, you can tell he has lots of passion for his work. Our waitress was lovely from the start to finish, never once did she not have a smile on her face and treated us like one of her family. The Chefs truly cooked every part of the tasting menu to perfection and every dish was sublime. We had the chance to meet Maca and have a photo at the end of our meal which was the icing for our cake on a very special night. Thank you to all the Front of House and Back of House team for the experience. We hope to be back sometime soon 🙏

Lived up to all expectations. Hospitable and competent staff, excellent food, good wine recommendations from sommelier, and true to the concept they abide to. Here I have tasted dishes I have not tasted elsewhere- I will return!
Havard N — Google review
Unfortunately the food was very bad. Even the dessert were so hard to eat ( with cellery and onion..) but the sommelier and waitress were amazing! Service is great cant tell the same for food. Much expensive for the taste.
Sena Ö — Google review
Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. We were so excited to step foot here. The whole area is a tourist trap of bad food so we committed to a fine dining experience to ensure one night of quality food. Though we understood and appreciated the farm-to-table concept, it didn’t really translate. We expected vibrant and fresh offerings. It was too umami. From the first offering of a chickpea broth, a singular tone overwhelmed the following 7 or 8 courses: SALT. We can appreciate seasoning. But everything was so salty and to our great surprise, very rich. We barely had room for dessert. We felt the textures were monotone: lots of sauce, heavy, soft textures. We would like to highlight a zucchini ice-cream which was fantastic. But its Fig and Olive cake counterpart bathing in an onion foam fell way flat. The fig was overcast by too strong onion flavour. At a cost of 600$ Canadian (with only 2 glasses of wine), we were expecting way more. The maître d’hôtel was very nice. But the wait staff looked kind of tired or bored.
M L — Google review
An exceptional experience. A couple of weeks prior to our reservation I received a WhatsApp message asking if I had any special dietary which I did. These requests were sympathetically honoured by making slight adjustments to certain courses on the menu. The food was exquisite in both presentation and flavour. The blending of textures and tastes were inventive beyond anything we’d experienced before yet they were sublime. The staff are clearly passionate about what they do and strike an excellent balance between professionalism and friendliness. The whole experience was u forgettable in a good way. A bit like visiting an art gallery for the taste buds! An absolute must for any foodies out there

I took my husband here on our honeymoon. He’s a big foodie and really enjoys trying new things, whilst I’m quite picky so it’s usually very difficult for us to have a tasting menu together. However, the team at Maca de Castro were super accommodating and made sure that both of us could have amazing food. Every course of the tasting menu was exquisite and the team were so friendly and attentive. The value for the tasting menu was also incredible. We really couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Historical landmark
Torre Major is one of the two watchtowers built on the Alcanada peninsula following attacks. It was constructed in 1602 and equipped with a battery of four bronze cannons. The tower received signals from another watchtower, sa Talaia de Victoria, and an ancient lookout. Although it's closed to the public, it offers a nice view of Alcudia Bay and is worth the uphill walk from Port d'Alcudia.
Not much going on here, but the area is very lovely, follow the footpath by the sea to the lighthouse. Awesome!
Ståle S — Google review
It looks derelict! On derelict land surrounded by more dereliction. But, being an old defence tower circa 1599, it is interesting to see. When we were there, you couldn’t get into it but could get into the ground and walk around it. For the photographer, the area has interesting scenes opposite to those that are well kept areas. We were all of 10 minutes there. Hopefully the local council will see the value in such a monument and transform it into a well kept tourist attraction.
Paul C — Google review
Could be improved by preserving the ground and maintaining the area around Potential of lovely views but ruined by overgrown bushes etc
Connor M — Google review
The tower itself is quite interesting, but unfortunately, it is closed, so it is not possible to have a look inside. Located on a hill, with a nice view of Alcudia Bay. Certainly worth a walk from Port d'Alcudia. As an added bonus, walking there from the port, you will pass an old Alcudia power plant. Built in the 1950s, long since defunct, it has its own raw industrial beauty. I hope they will not demolish it as apparently there are plans to do it. On the opposite side, there are houses where workers of the power plant used to live, with a chappel, community building, and so on. The houses are run down and the area is all fenced now, but still, it is a display of the recent history of Alcudia, Alcanada area.
Bogusław C — Google review
The best Majorcan defence tower we have seen and it's on a sad little wasteland sight and utterly neglected. You can park on the side of the road and just walk the 20m to the tower.
Marcus H — Google review
Lies in a residential area but there is a nice coastal walk along the water with possiblities for swimming.
Christin B — Google review
Nice walk from town, all uphill so don't wear your flip flops. Unfortunately there is an abandoned factory and housing estate on the way which does spoil the vibe a little. Watch out for the horse and donkeys on the left on the way up the hill, they are very friendly. The view is lovely but a little restricted by constant new housing. The Fort itself is a historic building but alas there is no access for the public. A bit unfortunate if you make the decision to walk.
Stephen P — Google review
after a long day at the beach we did not manage to get there. According a map we found some old road, ending by fence with old factory from other side. With hungry kids at rear seats we had choosen a dinner as better option.

Alcudiamar SL is a bustling port that caters to various types of vessels, from small private boats to luxury yachts and large passenger ships. It serves as a departure point for cruises to scenic destinations like Cap Formentor and Playa Rajada, as well as dolphin watching tours. Visitors can also embark on boat trips to explore caves and enjoy swimming stops along the way.
We went on the local bus 6euros for both of us one way it's worth paying a trip out locals friendly 👍

Nice boat trip to some caves, including two stops for a swim. Some very Nice views. Duration about 4 hours, depending on what point you are picked up. Tip : head to Alcudia port for the best seat choice.

X 100 Euros per night, then they want €130 deposit for the shower key and electrical adaptor? Erm....your electrical service not good enough for my boat? So I have to pay €100 deposit for an adaptor?? Sorry but this is typical inverted Spanish customer service.

It provides guests with a peaceful atmosphere while still being in close proximity to numerous restaurants, shops, and bars. Guests can easily access a nearby small beach to relax and take in the stunning surroundings.
Absolute top location with excellent service. We actually booked a other hotel but we were so in love with this hotel when we went for a drink. We stayed several nights and it is absolute perfect. The outside pool is stunning and perfect temperature. The staff is very kind and personal and you don’t feel like a number. The breakfast was also very nice, good coffee. Nice quality for your money. Also the location is perfect. The diner in the hotel is also great but there are very nice restaurants near. Overal 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to come back - as i will do for sure. That you can park in the harbor (paid) is ideal because you are right in the hart of port alcudia.

2 weeks spent in this wonderful place. Great pool area, quiet and a great atmosphere. Although the hotel itself is four-star, it is the staff that makes it qualify for a clear five-star. The management has assembled a really good team. Nice job and thanks for a great holiday.
Mikael S — Google review
Have just finished a 7 night stay here with my teenage daughter. The communal areas were spotless and well maintained. The pool area was beautiful and i made the most of the indoor hotub and sauna. I wish I could remember the names of key staff because it was the staff that made the holiday so great from the reception staff, to the lady that greeted us at ur meals each day, the barman who made the most amazing cocktails and the other staff that supported our stay. It was amazing! A couple of negatives. One of the pillows in our room had mould on and I did report it however the pillow was never changed, there weren't enough vegetarian options for the evening meals. I would still definitely stay again and most likely will visit again.
Kristal R — Google review
We loved the place. It’s quiet, only a few smaller children, the pool is gorgeous, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of variety- including custom made omelettes. We also loved their cocktails of the day. The pool chairs got busy later in the day but in the morning there was plenty to choose from. This was especially as they are strict on the ‘no reserve’ and would remove towels people put down to reserve. We loved that! The rooms are not very big and nothing fancy for a regular double room. The suites are probably much nicer. Recommended!
Rikke V — Google review
We absolutely loved our stay at Alcudiamar Botel, the facilities are perfect for a sports holiday and also relaxing time at the pool and beach! The breakfast was perfect - had everything you could need! The staff are super friendly and talented language-wise! :) The live music in the evenings was really great! Highly recommend in low season a holiday here!
Kate H — Google review
The sixth time I’ve been here, will keep coming back every year; as it’s nearly 100 % perfect. The food is 100% the only thing that lets it down is a problem with some of the guest’s. There are always people who reserve sun beds with their towls then disappear of to breakfast. And those who get up early and go to breakfast early, only to find all the best spots around the pool are taken; although there’s no one there. This is something that the Hotel say’s you should not do, but it’s not controlled enough. Also there are guests who leave their rubbish laying around when they go, expecting the hotel to clean up after them. So the problem is not so much that of the Hotel, but that of some of the ignorant guests that stay there. The staff of the Hotel are all very friendly, it’s like coming back to family. See you all again next year.

Speed Boat Alcúdia offers an exhilarating boat ride where speed is the main attraction. The experience involves bouncing over waves for an adrenaline-filled adventure. Visitors can also enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear sea during a 20-minute stop before returning to the mainland. Additionally, there are options for family-friendly activities such as treasure hunts and dolphin spotting trips, with comfortable seating and friendly staff adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
We just got back from the sunrise trip to see the dolphins. Everything about this trip was fantastic. The boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable and really made sure we had a great time and there was plenty of time to see the beautiful dolphins and take photos and videos. My husband and I are both OK with fast and bumpy boats, but some people were feeling sick because once you get out of the bay the waves are of course bigger so remember this if you're not great with bouncing around. Also, you should take a decent jacket. Blankets are provided, but a windproof coat is a good idea because you will be out in the open ocean and no matter how warm the air is, its chilly out there. For me, zooming along and bouncing and rolling into the sunrise with the wind in my hair was one of the highlights of my trip so far and I felt 100% safe at all times. Booking was easy and the bus was exactly on time to pick us up as agreed. I can't really say enough good things about this trip. A very professional company who really looks after their customers. Just book it. You won't regret it I promise.

Unforgettable Sunrise Dolphin Watching Tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most amazing time on this sunrise dolphin watching tour! From start to finish, the experience was peaceful, well-organized, and truly unforgettable. The crew were absolutely lovely — warm, professional, and genuinely caring. They made sure everyone was comfortable, offering soft blankets to keep us warm in the early morning chill. They also played gentle, beautiful music that perfectly matched the serene mood of the sunrise. What really stood out was how thoughtful and inclusive they were. The crew spoke several languages to make sure all guests felt welcomed and informed, which made the whole group feel connected and at ease. And of course — the dolphins! We were lucky enough to see several swimming nearby, and the crew made sure to guide us without disturbing them. It felt respectful to the animals and the environment, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It’s a peaceful, magical way to start your day — and the crew truly go above and beyond to make it special.

This company has been incredible from start to finish and with the help of everyone this Experience has definitely been the highlight of our holiday. Everyone from the rep team to the crew on board are friendly and all round amazing. The crew on board make it such a fun and special experience, it has such a family feeling. Me and my family did the blue caves trip which was incredible, swimming around Majoricas spectacular blue caves, coves and even met captain Jack sparrow! And we also did the dolphin experience which was amazing! The dolphins come very close to the boat. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for an incredible sea experience ;) Thank you everyone!

Absolutely great company never had a bad experience. Very family friendly crew and staff who are always very attentive and professional. Booking was easy and they even pick you up and drop you off for the excursion. If you need photos taken they will happily accommodate and take them for you. In the colder months they will supply you with blankets to keep you warm, life jackets , snorkelling equipment and paddle boards are all provided. Been to Alcudia 3years running and we wouldn’t use anyone else for boat excursions. The boats are smaller so gives a more Personnal feel and no overcrowding. Can’t speak highly enough of this company and can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic service from booking with Rosa over WhatsApp from my hotel for of us to being collected, taken to the port and all the above. The experience itself was for 3hrs, the staff on board were fantastic with the kids, and funny with it. An absolute must do! 8 kids in tow and everyone of them said it was the best part of the holiday ( 16-5yrs)- even the less confident swimmers loved it especially when they saw "real fish" snorkeling and jumping off the boat! Will 100% rebook when we're back! Thanks again Rosa and the team xx Stacey xx
