The 15 best Asian food in Port d'Alcudia

The staff were friendly, and the food was good, although not authentic. What really surprised me, though, was the bill. Since we speak Chinese, we were given a Chinese menu with no prices listed. Two bowls of white rice cost €6.40, and two orange juices came to €11.90. It was definitely overpriced compared to other restaurants on the island. I’d recommend checking the prices before ordering.

The food was very good here. We had half a crispy duck with pancakes to share, and it was one of the best I've ever had. We were served actuall duck breast with dservice eliciously crispy skin. A far cry from the dried up shreds you normally get in the UK. The main (Chow Mein) was very good too, and it was clear all the food had been freshly prepared. Service was very friendly although some of the staff had limited English but we still managed to communicate. Would go again

The food was very fet and with no taste. Very long waiting time. The presentation of food was just awful, It just like home made supper of rests from fridge. We were disappointed and angry. Just dissatisfied. I don't recommend this place. I don't know why there are a lot of good reviews, because it's not a place where you can chill and enjoy your time and food. The staff was friendly, but without good English knowledge, I would like to say, that they don't understand English at all. We have only bad memories with this place and we'll never come back there again.

Bearable but not awe-inspiring. Let's start from the beginning - the waiter took 12 minutes to bring the menu for us. After ordering, the food appeared quickly but everything was too sweet even for Indian cuisine. It's possible to eat, but without the excitement of taste.

Food was really good. I was informed that Shashlik Tandoori Chicken would be spicy. And it was, but spiciness was acceptable. Tandoori Mix Grill was good as well. I loved the Garlic Nan. Service was superb. First time at Indian Restaurant and I was surprised from good side. Recommendations.

Love this Indian restaurant the food is fantastic, great portion size and prices. Myself and my teenager went twice in the week we were in Alcudia but could easily have gone more! Staff are lovely and the cocktails were really delicious.

The food and the service was amazing! We enjoyed the food so much that we had to come back two more times during our stay. The lamb Karahi was my favorite. The lamb was cooked really well. The tikka masala was my partner’s favorite. We recommend this place for both south asians and for people from other countries. The alcohol free classic mojito was also excellent! The service was also super fast. And the servers were super friendly.

Dining at Namaste Indian Restaurant was an absolute delight! Our table was beautifully laid out with a colorful variety of dishes. Soft, fluffy naan bread fresh from the tandoor, paired perfectly with rich and aromatic curries. The spread also featured a plate of sizzling tandoori vegetables, bursting with smoky flavor and spices, alongside fluffy, golden jeera rice and a refreshing raita to balance the heat. The drinks were just as enjoyable — chilled glasses for spanish draft beer. Also they serve wide range of cocktails with fun striped straws added a playful and refreshing twist to the meal. Every dish felt like it was made with heart, bringing authentic Indian taste and warmth straight to the table. If you’re craving an experience full of flavor, color, and generous portions, Namaste Indian Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for both cozy dinners and group celebrations!

Wow!!! We were blown away by the food at Namaste. The Nepalese style chicken was honestly the best chicken curry I’ve ever tasted. All the items in the mixed grill were delicious and the chicken biryani was great too. All of the food was perfect. From the poppadums to start with to the dessert to finish off - everything tasted beautiful. We asked for Indian-style spice levels and it was spot on. The staff are brilliant as well. So friendly and welcoming. We cannot fault them for anything. Thank you so much. Me and my wife loved everything and thank you so much for making her birthday so special. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited here in October 2024. The allergens are clearly listed on the menu so it was easy for me to get a gluten free meal. Most dishes are labelled as containing dairy but when we asked they confirmed they could make the chicken balti dairy free. The servers seemed to be well informed with allergens and warned us which pickle dips were safe to eat We had two chicken baltis, chicken pakoras, garlic naans, poppadoms, the namaste curry and a chicken korma. Everyone loved their food! Even in October it was really busy so we were glad we had booked. I would definitely recommend.

The best Indian food we've had in years and we love a curry. So good we came 2 nights on the trot. The staff are lovely, the food is lovely it's just all lovely. The first night we came in we'd bought a bottle of wine earlier in the day to drink on our balcony when we got back to the hotel. We didn't have a corkscrew and they lent us one. I promised I would bring it back and they were so happy when I did. If you like your Indian food give them a go you won't be disappointed. Nice bottle of wine too.

Great portions and the food was delicious, value for money for fantastic home cooked Indian cuisine. Definitely a must try if you're in Alcudia .

A lovely little tandoori restaurant on the canal side, the waiters were fast efficient, friendly and polite, the menu was easy the read and it was easy to order. The food came in the traditional fashion, pickle trays to start which were delicious and then the main course. Bubbling curries, steamy rice and baskets of huge Nan breads! The only thing I could see improving were the curries, being a little lacking in flavour and texture and there were also huge chunks of salted lime which ruined every other mouthful until we picked them out. Would definitely re-visit 😋

I love this 'Indian' restaurant. It's a great location, right next to the canal where you can sit and watch activities such as people boating and kayaking. The owner always remembers me from holiday to holiday and stops at my table for a chat and catch-up. The food is excellent, location brilliant and the staff are all impeccable. Can't recommend highly enough. The photo was taken just at opening time, hence the empty seats, it always becomes busy very quickly.

Without sounding overly dramatic… this might just be the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to (and I’ve tried quite a few). The dishes are generous, perfectly spiced, and the chicken tikka masala was absolutely out of this world — I may or may not have licked the plate clean (don’t judge me). The staff is super friendly, takes the time to explain everything, from spice levels to dish recommendations. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. If you’re in Mallorca and love Indian food, go there. Now. Highly, highly recommend +++ — I’ll definitely be back! Honestly, I might just book a flight back only for this restaurant.

We had a fantastic meal at this Indian yesterday evening.The special bhuna was amazing and the chicken madras was full flavour.My kids had butter chicken and they both agreed it was the best they’ve had! This is the best Indian meal we have had abroad by a long way, the staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive top marks all around and we will make sure we visit again when in Alcudia ! The Johnny walker was equally as good shame I was driving 😂 keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Could not recommend this restaurant enough. I looked at the highest rated restaurants nearby and sure enough found this and boy… it sure didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere along the river is lovely, all the staff were amazing and the food was gorgeous. We all had loads of amazing food (and even more drinks) and were shocked by how cheap the bill came to.

Food arrived fast like Formula 1 and the taste was authentic like a bike journey through India with local people. Thank you for the nice stay and we wish you all the best ☀️

The best Butter Chicken we had so far. The portions were quite big and the prices were the same as we found in all the restaurants in Alcudia near the beach or in the port. The naan was excellent also! We definitely recommend this place!

Lovely restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Felt very welcome. All of the food (chicken pakora, butter chicken, chicken pathia, garlic naan) was absolutely delicious, especially the butter chicken. Would highly recommend going here 👌 Edit: It was that good, we went again and this time the chicken tikka jalfrezi and chicken tikka dahi - yummy.

Service was very fast probably because there was only us and 2 other tables in at the time we were there, prawn toast was amazing, chicken noodle soup well that was like chicken super noodles with extra water and chicken thrown in,fried rice was a bit tasteless, salt and pepper chips I have had better, chicken curry was okay nothing special chicken chewy, won’t rush back

We visited the restaurant at the end of May, little people so food came after just 4-5 min max. Before the fast food arrived, we got some overpriced soda (€9,6). Then the food arrived. Spring rolls where crispy, but tasted little. Then we got fried rice with chicken and chicken cashew nut. Other than no salt and pepper on the food, the portions was reflective of the price; good and small. Rice with the food costs €3,9…

We visited this Chinese restaurant to give our taste buds a change from Spanish food, though that's enjoyable nonetheless. It's on the second floor and some tables have a reasonable view of the beach. The food was good and chosen from the large menu. The amount of pieces of duck and sauce in the Duck with Orange Sauce was amazing 😋 Service was friendly and welcoming.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. The worst Chinese takeaway of my life! Crispy chicken-tasteless, soggy and just soaked with oil. Won tons-very much over fried pastry with nowhere to find filling. Soup that was meant to have chicken and crab meat in it-well chicken not found, crab meat- unfolded crab stick🤷‍♀️ not even bothered to chop it up. Spring roll-greasy and only with cabbage inside. Egg fried rice-all you can taste is that it's cooked in a broth. Save your money and avoid this place by all means.

For our final night on the island earlier this week, we searched for the best-rated Chinese restaurant near Alcudia. After checking reviews, we found one with the highest rating on TripAdvisor, so we decided to give it a try. It was about a 20-minute walk along the beach from Alcudia to the Port area. First impressions weren’t promising. The place looked very run-down and clearly hadn’t seen any maintenance in years — everything could’ve used a fresh coat of paint. That said, it was rooftop-located, which gave us a nice view of the beach, so we decided to stay and have a look at the menu. We opted for some familiar dishes we often enjoy at home: sesame prawn toast, Singapore noodles, crispy beef, chips, and egg fried rice. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. The sesame prawn toast was awful — quite possibly the worst I’ve ever had. It was basically two small pieces of flattened bread coated in sesame seeds, with absolutely no trace of prawn anywhere. It tasted exactly like bread. That’s it. Then the Singapore noodles arrived. I had to call the waiter over to check if I’d accidentally ordered plain noodles — there was no visible meat at all, despite the menu listing chicken, beef, and prawn. He assured us they were all included. I can confirm: one single prawn and three tiny scraps of chicken on a full plate of noodles. The crispy beef? Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. The sauce had pooled at the bottom of the plate, and the strips of beef were poorly battered and soggy. It looked unappetising and tasted worse. After a few bites, we gave up. When the waiter came over to check if everything was okay, I asked whether he genuinely believed the sesame prawn toast was normal. To his credit, he admitted it wasn’t and took it off the bill. We quickly paid and left, leaving about 75% of our meal untouched. How this place has such a high TripAdvisor rating is beyond me. I’ve had far better meals at basic all-you-can-eat buffets. Calling this a Chinese restaurant feels like a stretch based on the quality of food served.

My better, more beautiful wife loves a good Chinese - this place was mega !!! Amazing view to start with, lovely staff and a the food was AWESOME !! starters, mains and a dessert (which is rare) and a thoroughly enjoyable evening Visit - visit - visit !!!!

I would honestly give the place a 6th star if I could. We went to This place exhausted and super hungry after landing and reaching our hotel and we arrived at 10:43. The restaurant was almost ready to close as they close as 11:00 and there were only other customers sitting there when we arrived and they were also ready to leave. We honestly thought they would turn us down and say the kitchen is closed, but they very kindly asked us to take a seat. The service was great, they served us the food we ordered, and it felt freshly prepared. The food was great as well. By the time we were done it was nearly 11:30. Honestly one of the kindest restaurants I’ve been to who extend their closing time only for one table of customers.

Authentic Nepali food with lots of vegetarian options. Warm friendly service and great ambience. Being a vegetarian we ordered vegetarian options like veg biryani, nan, Nepali daal and alloo gobi. The taste was really good and spice level was exactly matching the level we asked.

This is a tourist-oriented Thai restaurant in Alcudia. I ordered the Pad Ka Prao with beef and a side of fried rice. Well, I’m not an expert in Thai cuisine but I found the taste disappointing. The ingredients felt disconnected, lacking the harmony I expected from a well-executed Asian dish. I usually enjoy spicy food, but in this case, the heat felt overwhelming rather than enjoyable… But it might just be that Thai food isn’t quite for me. On a positive note, I appreciated their open kitchen. It’s always reassuring to see food being prepared fresh and transparently. I’ll probably give this place another chance and return to try their crispy duck, a dish I’m more familiar with and better able to judge...

A pretty decent place for Thai in Mallorca! We liked cocktails and food - the service was pretty friendly and attentive as well. Compared to Thai food in other major cities around the world, they weren’t spicy at all. So if you want a bit of a kick, you may want to ask them to make it spicy.

Such a cute little find, I'd recommend booking as it was very busy and we were really lucky to get a table, service was very slow but food was excellent so worth the wait, presentation of all dishes was beautiful too

As a Thai, this restaurant is a taste of authenticity I found in Mallorca. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the owner's kindness shines through their helpfulness. I highly recommend booking a table in advance due to the restaurant's popularity and busyness. Treat yourself to a genuine Thai food experience, complete with flavorful spices!

Nice street with several restaurants, including this one. We had two dishes, which we found to be fairly average. The portions were also quite small, and we had to order rice separately (which we had never seen before). However, the portions served to the neighbors looked larger. After we ordered, no waiter came back to our table. Maybe we come again on another day

Great Chinese food for a fair price. But yes, its a Chinese place meaning bright lights, little to zero atmosphere. Service was fast but not really welcoming. In short, if you look for Chinese food without any interest in the rest, this place is great.

Not great...priceyfor what you get. ...ordered black pepper beef - came with string beans but the beans have gone bad. They were sour..not all of them but some...they took it back and quickly came back to say the chef tasted it and it's OK!!!!! Terrible customer service. Charged over €5 for chinese tea per person!!! We asked for a replaced but was told the chef said its ok. The string beans were not fresh and going off. It's not vinegar used in the dish. I'm from a restaurant background and aware of this. Not good.

We had a lovely experience dining in JinSun! The food arrived very promptly and you could tell it was very fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and service was amazing! We went for spring rolls, crispy chilli beef, black bean chicken, noodles, fried rice and we can whole heartedly recommend those dishes. I think the portions are just right, you feel satisfied rather than disappointed with yourself for eating too much! We will definitely come back next time we’re in Alcudia

One of the Best Chinese Restaurants Abroad! This Chinese restaurant is probably one of the nicest I’ve ever tried while traveling. It’s family-owned, and you can really feel the love and effort they put into the place — everyone working there is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. The food is incredible! It always came out super fast, fresh, and piping hot. We loved it so much, we ate here three times during our stay — and honestly, we could’ve gone back again! We ordered the same dishes each time because they were just that good: crispy chili chicken, fried noodles, rice, salt & chili chips, spring rolls, and gyozas. Every single dish was absolutely banging — full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. You won’t regret it!

Lovely dishes, served quickly and hot. The spicy dishes aren't really spicy, so if you like heat, then ask for extra spicy! Other than that, everything is lovely; great service and reasonable prices.

It was empty when we went, so that should have been a sign not to stay. We ordered two menus of the day each. I had soup of chicken with mushrooms, it came without any chicken what so ever and bot even one entire mushroom sliced. The rest of the dishes were just as much disappointment as it was the service. Usually don't comment, but in rare occasions such as this one, I prefer to warn the future customers. Ordered tallarines for 3rd they bring me plain tallarines without any spice or sauce or anything. To top it all up, we were surprised to find out that drinks and desert are not included in the menu of the day which is included everywhere else.

The food wasn't bad, but it was more tasteless than tasty. Ordered the only two dishes that were supposed to be hot/spicy. They were spicy as the french fries.. (they were not spicy at all even though it was "Chili sauce".) though the french fries was more cold than warm. None of us (4 people that ordered 3 different dishes and we were not impressed. Was just happy we got food in our stomach.

Casa del Dragon is an all you can eat buffet chinese restaurant that also offers menu items. This place looks good from the outside with a oriental architecture and has has its seating on the first floor so your not sat next to people walking by. Price was good for the buffet though the same for other nearby buffet offering restaurants. Unfortunately due to low number of guests the food wasn't being changed often enough resulting in much of the food being a little cold. Not much choice for those who are vegetarian either. Sorry to say but I'd recommend going elsewhere with a few other better places to eat in the same street.

Chinese food was a welcomed change on the trip, the quality of food was as expected from a modestly priced buffet, but was well replenished. I had a broken foot on my trip and was getting around on crutches, this Chinese buffet was the only one I had seen with disabled/pushchair friendly access, with the staff happy to assist.

Last night of our holiday very disappointing. No atmosphere, food mediocre. Crispy duck had been cooked in batter so more batter than duck. Replenished food buy topping up the old no rotation. Didn't know what we were eating as no signage apart from a picture of a chicken,pig etc. We were concerned about being ill on our trip home. Should have read the reviews before we went.

Food was awful, cold, overcooked, bland greasy and unsightly. Would not recommend visiting this buffet when in Alcudia. All though it looks good from the outside it isn't. Fact they charged a 10% gratuity was a kick in the teeth, as not one person mentioned it or served us.

Without doubt the worst chinese food I've ever tasted. Disgusting, cold food, rude staff, I only gave it 1 star because there was no option for zero. They advertise a childrens play area but it's nothing more than a filthy play house, surrounded by boxes of stock, out of sight and next to a flight of stairs. They also advertise air conditioning but this is nothing more than an open window. We asked for the bill and was faced with 11 items we never had, the waiter took a second look, and was obviously aware of the mistake but presented us with the bill anyway. I would avoid this place at all costs. It needs closing down!

We were welcomed in from the street in a warm and friendly manner- my daughter has a fear of lifts and so the stairs were walked by us all! A lovely greeting from all of the staff. Delicious food. We had the Singapore, Anakash and vegetable spring rolls! So tasty! We also had the white wine sangria which I can thoroughly recommend! A lovely evening indeed

Unfortunately i was disappointed with my food. Taste was ok but it did not look anything like the picture from the menu.

Extremely rude woman that made me feel extremely unwelcome. I said hello and tried to order in mandarin like i usually do in Chinese restaurants but was met with the angriest face Ive ever seen so i switched to English but that did not improve the situation. Looked at the menu for a few minutes but was only boring western fake Chinese dishes. Didnt even bother asking for the real Chinese menu as i normally do. After that i stood up and walked out. I can understand why your restaurant is so empty compared to the other Chinese spots. Go to Chino La Villa instead. Great people and great real good over there!

Not approachable staff!!! Went here to order some take away, got served by a woman who made us feel uncomfortable and uneasy. The food was ok. The fried rice and spring rolls were too oily.

Good food and well priced. A few misunderstandings when it came to ordering (guessing it's easier if you speak spanish) but the staff was nice. There was only one table outside so be prepared to dine inside.

The food was ok I suppose, but the owner/waitress wasn't so nice. If it wasn't for my Niece who lives on the Island and speaks fluent Spanish, I think it would be 3 stars! If you order the crispy shredded Duck, don't expect it to be shredded at the table as I am used to in the UK! It's thick slices that you have to somehow wrap up in a pancake with no spring onions, just a few bean sprouts and a saucer of soy sauce. The prawn crackers aren't prawn crackers, they are just plain crackers!!! Its not a restaurant only, it's a bar as well so I suppose you have to take that into account!
