Restaurant
Naked Fisherman Restaurant is a lively and fun-loving beachside seafood restaurant located below the Cap Maison Resort, nestled in a protected cove under a thatched-roof kitchen. It offers well-executed versions of bar favorites like Kobe burgers and calamari, as well as traditional St. Lucian dishes such as creole fish stew and saltfish. The restaurant boasts stunning vistas and warm hospitality, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food alongside breathtaking views.
This is a slice of luxury. We booked for lunch and arrived at 10am. We knew we couldn’t hire beds on the beach but what we didn’t know is that because we had a reservation we could use a double bed attached to the restaurant. We had amazing views over the bay, sheltered from the blazing sun by a huge tree. The snorkelling here was great and in the rock pools we found lots of fishes and hermit crabs. The cocktails and food are one of the best we’ve experienced on the island. It’s expensive but it’s good. Great kids menu, our boys 5 & 8 ate all their food and enjoyed the puddings. I would definitely recommend a visit and making a day of it. It’s very special

The vibes in this place is everything. The drinks, food,(the seafood stew - easily the best thing we had on the entire island!, and split corn 'ribs', seafood mac & cheese) the location and music is almost perfect! The staff especially, are attentive, with spot on recommendations and are incredibly accommodating. *Side eye to a few pesky mosquito bites (have repellent handy especially in the shade). Loved our day here!
Molly C — Google review
What can I say… The food was absolutely delicious. While I did not taste everything, what I did taste was stunning. I would recommend getting there just before sunset and enjoying a drink on their beach. We got there just after sunset and enjoyed hearing the crashing waves while we indulged in our food. This to me is a perfect spot for any couple. The service was exemplary and friendly. The overall price of everything is comparable to what you would expect in the United States at a three or four star dining experience.
Nate B — Google review
Came over due to the inedible food at sandals and so glad we did. The place is 91 steps down from the street which also makes it 91 steps up so be aware of that. We were seated peoples and listed to some nice Caribbean music in the background which did not detract from the waves crashing on the beach. Our waitress was warm and gracious. We started with the corn ribs which were fantastic. Spicy, sweet. Great flavor. We also had the ceviche which was served with some tortilla chips and they were bright and flavorful. I had the Maui with pumpkin curry which was fresh and delicious. We also had jerk chicken skewers which was perfectly spicy and served with a great coleslaw which my spouse loved. Corkage was $35 US. Not an inexpensive meal but well worth it.
Scott K — Google review
If I could give this place 6 stars I would! The setting is breathtaking, the service is top notch and the food absolutely delicious. I had the seafood mac and cheese. Soo creamy with shrimp, mahi, clams and mussels! All together this was one of my favorite meals of my entire life!
Mike E — Google review
A unique beach restaurant in the north of Saint Lucia. Proper dining on the beach with the active sea in the background. It is an amazing experience. The food is tasty and worth every one of the near 100 stairs to get to it. If you ate sinfully, the climb back up is good pennance. But don't worry, there is a nice, thoughtful resting place halfway up or down, depending on which direction you're moving. The staff are engaging and warm. It's a no cash restaurant.
Louis L — Google review
We made a reservation but it didn’t seem like we needed it when we came in early December for lunch. We ordered the hummus, pork skewers and the calamari. The hummus and local bread was our favorite. Great vibes and good music. Nice and secluded beach with a hammock on the rock wall. Down 91 steps but easily worth it for a beautiful secluded beach with a nice patio style restaurant.
Kate S — Google review
Complete slice of paradise. One of the best days in St Lucia. We booked for 1.30pm lunch. Parking is available on the road, and then it's 91 steps down to the beach front restaurant which is secluded, calm, and serene. The cocktails and food were some of the best we had in St Lucia. Particularly the Pina Coladas. Price is on the expensive side, but worth it. By eating at the restaurant, you can use the double bed sun loungers attached to the restaurant, giving you a sheltered, comfortable location to rest, with amazing views across the bay and easy access to the bar & beach. The sea was warm, clear and calm, with a couple of loungers out on the water for you to bathe on. Lots of tropical fish and crabs to see. The beach was clean, with perfect white sand, quiet and spacious, you feel like you're on a private beach, away from the noise and crowds. There's a shower available and bathroom facilities. Payment is cash or card. Remember you'll need to climb 91 steps back up to your car! Best day & best beach in St Lucia.

Restaurant
Spinnakers Beach Bar And Carvery is a popular restaurant located on Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. It offers a sumptuous menu featuring local cuisine and seafood, making it one of the most sought-after dining spots in the area. Run by British ex-pats, this beach bar provides a relaxed vibe with stunning views of Pigeon Point and Martinique.
Stopped there today on a tour of the island. There were high tides so beach was not as wide. Water was warm. Got our Free Rum Punch which is a Killer🤪. Went to Spinnaker’s. It wasn’t busy and it was before noon. They have a breakfast menu and we had breakfast tacos and a BLT sandwich with fries. Food was very tasty and well prepared & presented. Our server Chan was friendly and knowledgeable and a cutie🥰. Glad we went
Ingrid B — Google review
Our favorite restaurant on the island! Perfect location right on the beach. I’m a horribly picky eater, the manager was our server and went out of her way to accommodate us - making something off the menu. It was SO good. She always kept our drinks full, checked in on us, and was so friendly. A definite MUST try! There’s a free parking lot right next door too!
Ash — Google review
You can find Spinnakers right on Reduit Beach - the perfect spot to combine a dip in the sea with a great meal. The food is tasty, the portions are generous. A great option if you’re looking to enjoy the water and lunch all in one place!
Francine L — Google review
Been to this place for lunch and breakfast both times were great. The staff are lovely and the bartender knows how to make drinks. Would definitely come back. 10/10
Julie N — Google review
Food in St. Lucia is usually great. I ordered snapper but got fillet fish. I was expecting a whole snapper like I usually get. (Very disappointed) Plus, the portion was very small. I ordered rice and veggies and got a few strands of lettuce looking salad thing. Anyway, because I like sitting at the beach ⛱️, I enjoyed the atmosphere. It seemed that is what I was paying for. 70ec is too expensive for fillet snapper, baby portion for dinner.
VIGuyMike — Google review
Tasty meal, friendly staff, happy hour drink specials, great sunset view, and reasonable prices. Excellent vacation dinner spot. And cute local wildlife.
Jonathan J — Google review
Had a good meal at Spinnakers. Food was good with everything we tried and great cocktails. They were pretty busy when we arrived but were very friendly. Would definitely come again.
Chandler J — Google review
Excellent location right on reduit beach, though to an extent view spoilt by an over abundance of sun deck chairs in front of the restaurant on the beach. Food was fine, though check your meat is cooked well and doesn't come out too raw. Burger buns weren't the freshest. Service was very good.

How does a 5 star resort have such a terrible road leading into it? Do they do it to deter people that don't travel by boat or helicopter? Do they do it because they don't want to spend the money to repair the millions of pot holes in it? I was going 3 MPH and I thought my SUV was going to fall apart. I expect a resort of this caliber to have a nice road leading into, maybe something like the competitor Vice Roy's Sugar Beach that's not too far away... Either way, the food, view, service, and architecture were top notch, but all ruined by the quality of the only road leading into the property. Not worth the drive in. Spend your money elsewhere.
AF — Google review
The view was fantastic! People were extremely friendly. Breakfast was the best meal, Johnny cakes were over the top. Some of the wine list was not available but the cocktails were good. At night, depending on the time of the day, the bugs were really annoying. Some the Entree's were not as tasty as they should have been for the price and property.
Tank — Google review
Hugely disappointed. We had previously looked at the website twice, where there is no information to make a reservation at the restaurant. We tried calling multiple times on different days, and the call never went through. I called the resort, they gave me a different number to try, which also didn’t work. Upon arrival to the gate, we were told we couldn’t enter. She said she didn’t see any reservations on the list tonight, and we need to have made a reservation to get in. It was 7 pm, three hours before closing. I asked if we could make a reservation now for anytime that night and she said no. Very inaccessible, massive disappointment. This was to be our lovely last dinner on the last night of our honeymoon in St. Lucia. Down the road, Sunset is a safer option.
Cate L — Google review
Please tell anywhere on your rules that need reservation. We drove so long and can't go there. And it's not possible to reach you by call.
Maryna K — Google review
This was our first time at Jade Mountain, and while very nice, not sure I loved it enough to go back. Food was totally wonderful - everything from start to finish. Atmosphere was of course fantastic, but then again, too many good views on St Lucia. Because it is so high and open, the least little breeze makes it a bit cold. I would recommend bringing a jacket. Perhaps are only complaint was the extremely slow, and inattentive service. Drinks sat empty for a long period of time. It was an inordinately long time between courses, and it took forever to get our check, and then for them to cash us out. For the whole dinner, it was near 3 hours, just too long. Considering the prices and staff, I really thought they could do better. A relaxing meal is one thing, but I simply can't imagine staying at Jade Mountain, and doing a 3 hour dinner almost every night because I purchased the food package.
Michael M — Google review
Amazing! Beyond expectations, even if you have high expectations. Everything has been thought of, and everything is taken care of. We can't wait to go back.

Grocery store
Castries Market is a vibrant hub of activity, open from Monday to Saturday. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in Lucian culture and stock up on groceries while browsing through an array of local produce and handmade crafts. Established in 1894, this market offers an authentic experience where you can interact with locals and find unique souvenirs such as spices, seasonings, indigenous art, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
Lively place. Restroom costs a dollar! Possibly bring your own T.P. nice vendors, not overly aggressive, but of course they invite you to look at their stock. . Lots of souvenir options. Local fruit selection is fantastic.
Jeff S — Google review
Market sits on waterfront, nice view of the ship, good selection of local fruit for fair price. They sell in dollars and in cash so it's easier for us when we only have small change. Nice friendly merchants, market not too busy, food stalls opens every other door with small menus, mainly for locals, not for tourists, bathrooms is clean, no cost, we bought some fruits to taste and a few souvenir items for very little price. You just gotta know how to bargain.
Chanbo K — Google review
Lovely local market, with several stalls where the locals sell their products. My favourite is the fruit stalls with diverse types. Ideal place to find local and traditional products. Highly recommended.
Sónia M — Google review
Enjoyed stopping here. Lots of locals selling and had a great atmosphere. Went when there were quite a few cruise ships in but didn’t feel too crowded. Went at 11:00 and was still going strong. Lots of repeated produce and touristy things, but loved the food stuff. Look around as different prices on every stall. Great stimulus for a toddler!
Hannah B — Google review
Nice enough place. Lots of stuff to buy for tourists, not much fun for kids.
Nipam P — Google review
Strolled around here for breakfast and shopping. Got some bake and fish and it was delicious. Just for 5 Caribbean dollars for 3 of us. Had a good time. For shopping prices were way inflated. Got some nice bracelets, hot sauce and local spices.
Mahima S — Google review
Great place to interact with the locals. Guavas, mangoes, Coconuts, bananas etc. fresh and just off the farm. Enjoyed the most delicious fruit breakfast and only £2! I am visiting Creole Kitchen again to taste their delicious food! A bottle of pure fresh natural Guava juice for Rs: 100
Suraj A — Google review
Enjoyed checking out the market, clean place organized and everyone was friendly and not pushy to buy their goods. The locally grown food looked amazing must be the fertile soil. I tried some Black Pudding (blood sausage) from a sweet gentleman named Julius which was so good, best I’ve had in a long time I ended up buying more struck up a convo and just chatted with him for a while. Got some beautiful things for myself and a few friends and look forward to coming back the next time I’m in St Lucia. It definitely worth a trip when you’re in Castries.

Big Chef Steakhouse, a renowned restaurant in Castries for over 20 years, is a top dining destination in St. Lucia. Specializing in premium USA-certified Angus steaks prepared by award-winning chefs to perfection, the menu also features fresh seafood and crisp salads. The full-service bar and lounge are staffed with some of the island's best bartenders.
One of the best, if not the best, dinning experiences I had in St Lucia. Staff is amazing, helpful and great service. Owner was present, helpful and greeted many guests. More importantly, the food was even better. Pictures below. After almost 13 days on the island....this place is certainly one not to miss especially if you are on the north side of the island.
O M — Google review
We had an amazing dinner at Big Chef Steakhouse. We were welcomed by the hostess even though we didn't have a reservation. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium temperature, and the fries were well seasoned. The dessert was good, too. I wasn't crazy about the drink I ordered because it was a mixture of a mojito and a margarita. All in all, if you are visiting St. Lucia, definitely check out this restaurant and dress up because it is fine dining.
Dalia M — Google review
Big Chef in Rodney Bay was such a beautiful dining experience. I had the special of the night, the tuna with Japanese rice, and it was incredible. I also had a classic margarita and it was perfect, smooth and refreshing. The food was full of flavor and presented with so much care. The service was very professional and the atmosphere felt elegant and upscale. This was one of my favorite meals in St Lucia and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

A Culinary Journey with a Romantic Touch Big Chefs Steakhouse offers a truly unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere is both romantic and elegant, perfect for a special occasion or a night out. The food is simply divine. The chefs expertly incorporate local flavors into their dishes, creating a unique and delicious culinary experience. Every bite is a flavor explosion. The service is impeccable. Our waitress, Kissy, was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations. Her friendly demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Big Chefs Steakhouse is a must-visit for anyone seeking a fine dining experience in a beautiful setting.

Kudos to the chefs - the food was amazingly delicious. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the steak just melt in your mouth. Wish I could visit at least once a month just to eat that steak 🤤 Staff were great and attentive. I would definitely be visiting again 10/10

Amazing place !! The food is off the chart good. The service by Danny was just incredible. She was prompt , friendly , fun and became an integral part of the night. I have been to excellent restaurants throughout North America and I would rank this one right with them. Outstanding
Huntersville N — Google review
The food was absolutely wonderful!! We were there celebrating my wife’s birthday and everything went well beyond my expectations. I had the Sea Bass and my wife chose the NY Strip as her main course, when I tell you that Sea Bass was wonderful it’s an understatement. I never finish a plate when we’re out dining; that was not a problem this evening, we both devoured our meals in record setting times. I would visit this establishment again with no apprehension on what I would be expecting. Great Job to the Chef and the establishment…

Seafood restaurant
The Coal Pot Restaurant is a beloved family-owned establishment located in Castries, St. Lucia, overlooking the Vigie marina. The restaurant's name pays homage to traditional island cooking methods and specializes in delectable seafood dishes such as St. Lucian crab back and saltfish with green fig, along with steaks, poultry, salads, and soups. The French chef at the helm has earned the nickname 'Chef LA' and ensures that guests enjoy a gastronomic experience.
Visited this restaurant last night with my family and wow. The ambient lighting and Bayfront view is beyond stunning. We enjoyed a few appetizers and I am still thinking about the mussels. The portion sizes were just right and the staff were very attentive. Probably my favourite dining experience of my trip.
Tiah A — Google review
The atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed the setting that was created, similar to a Bali inspired theme. The food was also decent. Not amazing, but still enjoyable. I was a bit let down by the level of service and also having some dirty utensils. As a visitor to St. Lucia, I was expecting more, based on feedback from the locals.

Had the Dorado with garlic butter sauce and it was amazing. The fish was fresh, tender, and full of flavor with perfect sides. Beautiful waterfront setting with warm lighting and a peaceful breeze. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the evening feel special. 100% recommend The Coal Pot, it’s a must visit.
Kiana D — Google review
The Coal Pot is a great option if you’re looking for a place to eat in Castries. It’s located near George F. L. Charles Airport and Vigie Beach, with a beautiful waterside/marina view. The open, terrace-style seating makes it feel airy and relaxed, and you can really enjoy both the food and the scenery. A lovely spot to unwind.
Francine L — Google review
Sketchy road coming in but wow! Delicious food and beautiful restaurant. We reserved a waterfront table. I got the tuna and I have dietary restrictions so no butter and no oil and they managed to grill the tuna and use lemon instead!! I thought that was so creative because it tasted sooo good. The Dorado was also super good! There are mosquitos and I denied the bug spray offered because of the smell but I did wake up the next morning with a lot of bug bites, my fault, so use it. The water is gorgeous and there’s a turtle who likes to visit. You can also see crabs. Very dim lighting. Overall recommend trying this restaurant!
Ginny R — Google review
Amazing food. Great service. The perfect restaurant for a date. We drove there and will recommend to use a Susuki Jimmy or a similar vehicle as there is an open road to arrive there. Drive slowly and Be careful with the dogs that are sleeping near the gate entrance when leaving at night.

I am from Saint lucia, I have eaten at almost every upscale hotel on the island & many local ones, using that experience I can just tell that Fluffy and Sue's restaurant is one I would enjoy. I haven't had the pleasure of eating at roots yet but I can say that from what I saw that he prepared for the Netflix crew and from their amazing personalities the food and ambience will be wonderful. This is the first place I'm going as soon as I get back to the island in August!

Roots 2 is a top-rated restaurant located in Marigot Bay, St. Lucia, offering the best of St. Lucian cuisine with a focus on Caribbean seafood. The establishment has garnered praise for its delectable BBQ chicken, seafood, burgers, and pasta dishes. It is known for its breathtaking views and welcoming atmosphere for both adults and children. The restaurant's owners, Sue and Fluffy, are described as energetic and chatty with kids, creating a family-friendly environment.
If you are in St Lucia, a visit to this beautiful restaurant and bar is a must! The reviews speak for themselves - Fluffy and Sue are fantastic hosts, and instantly make you feel like family - we had their reggae chicken and it was the best meal we’ve had on the island in over a week - really delicious! The view is beautiful too, and it’s great value for money. We also happened to watch their episode of restaurants on the edge on Netflix - super interesting and definitely worth a watch before visiting, you’ll get a feel of the whole island and also a taste of the heart and spirit of the restaurant! Thanks so much for such a memorable evening - if we are ever on the island again we will definitely be back!

We had the chicken and the coconut shrimp. The shrimp was a hit for sure! One less star because the provisions came cold/lukewarm, and I'd like a fully hot meal. Drinks are limited but sufficient. Beautiful atmosphere and the view is lovely. There's no dedicated parking space, so you just park on the side of the road where it suits you. The opening hours on Google is not accurate. It's best to contact Sue to ask when they're open and to book. They cater for the number of people on the day to reduce food waste and to ensure everything is fresh. Definitely worth a visit!

Roots 2 is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the community, with a hillside view of the ocean and boats. Offering a taste of the Caribbean that's as authentic as it gets. From the moment you walk through the front, you're enveloped in the warm embrace of family vibes and the tantalizing aroma of spices wafting from the kitchen. The menu is a celebration of Caribbean cuisine, featuring a vibrant mix of flavors and textures that cater to all dietary preferences. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, there's something here to tempt your taste buds. From jerk chicken bursting with fiery flavor to comforting coconut curry loaded with fresh vegetables, each dish is made to order with the utmost care and attention to detail. But what truly sets Roots 2 apart is the unmistakable taste of home cooking infused into every bite. It's like being transported to a family kitchen in the Caribbean, where recipes are passed down from the one of the owner’s (Fluffy) mother and every meal is made with love. The staff treat you like kin. Definitely a must if you’re in St. Lucia. Call ahead and make a reservation.

My partner and I had a delicious meal here! We enjoyed every bite of the chicken and the fresh sides. Fluffy and Sue are such a sweet couple and really make you feel at home. Sue even offered us advice about what to see in our remaining time on the island. She connected us with a taxi driver and followed up to make sure we were all set! It was so kind of her to go out of her way to help us. Would highly recommend the Roots experience!

The food was amazing and the owners were so sweet and accommodating to our family. I highly recommend visiting. P.S. the rum punch is SO good!

If you are in the Marigot Bay area and don't eat at Roots 2, you should tear up your passport and never travel again. You have to make a reservation and order in advance. Your choices are fish or chicken and the menu depends on what's fresh that day. We both had the fish, as the chicken on the island has been fair at best. The fish was spectacular. The entire plate was spectacular. This is a can't miss experience that's nothing like sitting in a fancy resort restaurant but with food that's far better.

Been here for 8 days and will say this was the best meal we’ve had on the island! Reservations are a must and you must order in advance. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Ms Sue is so warm and accommodating. She managed a to go order for us after our meal but she made an exception to make this happen. Let’s talk the food tho…ooooh weee! Get the reggae chicken. It was phenomenal! The curry chicken was also amazing. Wish we’d found this place when we arrived. You will not be disappointed. I need more than 5 stars to give Roots 2👊🏾. Telling everyone in the states about Roots 2.

What an experience. Me and the family have been visiting family over in St Lucia and my partner found roots via TripAdvisor. It was her 30th and when I spoke to Sue she went above and beyond to help and ensure we were well looked after! The food, OUTSTANDING rustic, fresh, earthy and pure Lucian home cooked food can’t speak highly enough about roots and Sue and Fluffys hospitality. If you’re in St Lucia, it’s a MUST. PS also watch them on the Netflix series Restaurants on the Edge!

The Thirsty Parrot is a popular spot in St Lucia, known for its great food and drinks. The friendly staff and good vibes make it a favorite hangout. The chicken sandwich, rice with choice of meat, and coconut curry sauce are highly recommended. Visitors can also enjoy fresh and yummy tacos after hiking Pigeon Island. While the service may be lacking at times, the wonderful balcony facing the water makes for a relaxing drink and great food experience.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Everything is relaxed, you’re on island time so don’t be annoyed if you need to wait a little. Highly recommend the place!

Chill spot to grab food by the beach in Pigeon Island. The serving size is generous and we had their fish platter which was reasonably priced.

Really great location right on the beach. Food was delicious at a great price but service was subpar. The host that seated us wasn’t the friendliest and almost brushed off the other person in my party when she asked for a recommendation on the menu. Otherwise, a good spot for some quick food.

A minute walk from Pigeon Island entrance and right by the beach location couldn't have been better. We were here on Saturday afternoon and it was not busy, plenty of parking on the beach. We had fish in garlic sauce and fish in butter herb sauce. Both delicious. The sides were delightful. Rice spiced just right. Definitely would recommend.

We went for dinner and it was an Uneasy unwelcoming atmosphere for us it felt like we were forgotten. it took 30 minutes after being seated for someone to attend to our table and it was not crowded . our drinks order was all mixed up and the food is not worth the price.the service is unpleasant and the friendliness is selective depending on your social class. The overall positive is that it's located on a beautiful beach .

We didn't stay at the hotel, but wanted to try out the restaurant. It's buffet style. Everything from eggs (made to order) to fruit, pastries, bacon etc. Beautiful view of the pool. Pleasant staff. Great restaurant!

If you want your dinner to take 3 hours. This is your spot. I would go to any other restaurant in the area before this spot. Food is good. But waiting 2 hours for a steak is excruciating. Especially when they dont even come back and fill up your water and take a new drink order in that time

I am very disappointed with the service at your establishment. I made dinner reservations on the 14th of April 2025 for the 24th of April 2025. When I called, I told them that it was a birthday and im asking that a table be decorated for that occasion, which they agreed to.I again called on the 23rd of April to confirm my dinner reservations. When I got there on the evening of the 24th, I was told that they were not seeing my reservations. I was kept standing over an hour and a half before I was seated. The supervisor at the time was very unpleasant and rude. Although I explained to him that I had made reservations over two weeks ago, he didn't even apologize for there mix-up. Our waitness for the evening was the one who apologized and tried to make me feel better by dropping two netted flowers quickly on the table to try and make it up to me. I ordered the pork with potatoes, steamed vegetables and rice. The food was very disappointing. You guys need to do better, honestly. I will not return!!!
Santana — Google review
We stayed in the hotel and had breakfast that was included and it’s just ok. The fruit was hit or miss every morning. When items were gone, it took forever to replenish. Some mornings they served drinks and coffee and other times, I had to just go serve myself because we were so thirsty and I tipped every morning but it didn’t make a difference. The only thing consistent was the lady who makes eggs however you want. She was great! We also had dinner one night and honestly, it was overpriced for the meal we received, paid ($68US) for 2 people. I think we enjoyed seeing the cat everyday the best!

Customer service is horrible waited 40mins for an appetizer and then was told that they didn't have what I ordered. No remorse from our waitress Food: Very bland no flavor For people who staying for a long period they should change the menu. It's the same food and the menu is not big at all. I would not get the all inclusive package it is not worth it. So many places outside of thw hotel to eat

With a professional rumologist to assist in choosing from the extensive menu, guests can indulge in drinks like the fiery chilli passion cocktail. The bar's modern decor features striking artwork and offers a cool respite from the island heat.
We ate here twice during our vacation and loved it both times. I highly recommend the chicken and chili jam stir fry and the chocolate fondant dessert

Best place to eat at in Sugar Beach Resort. Keep an eye out for their bao bun night! Terrific. Wagyu nigiri and 6 hours braised beef is a definite must try! Their cocktails are awesome as well and their servers are very attentive. Their curries could be spicier though but you can just always for pepper flakes
Katrina B — Google review
The Cane Bar in the Viceroy Resort is an Asian-inspired restaurant that offers delicious dishes. We ordered the sweet and sour cauliflower, egg fried rice, and the spicy lamb with Thai basil. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, but the portion sizes were quite small for the expensive price. Additionally, the service was rather slow, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these drawbacks, the quality of the food was great.
Janice R — Google review
The best restaurant we have eaten in during our stay in St Lucia! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff from entering the resort to dining at the restaurant. Food was delicious and the portions were a good size. We don’t eat sushi but had the beef massaman curry and the chicken chilli jam stir fry. Highly recommend dinner here.

$30 California Rolls, people. Terriyaki Mahi Mahi smells like feet, tasted OK. Everything overpriced, which is the theme here. Extra star because the decor is great, view is good, and the staff is very professional Edit: Forgot to add, portion sizes are small. The entrees dont come with a side, so you have to order a $10 side of rice if you want to leave satisfied... but you wont be anyway. Edit 2: Its worth mentioning the free chips they give you, might have been the best part of the meal.

Fabulous bar inside Sugar Beach resort. We came here for drinks a few times and we had dinner here once. Food is pretty good (Japanese rice dishes and sushi). The DJ on Thursday was amazing! Just wish there had been more of an audience for him. My husband and I were the only ones in the bar from 10.30pm until midnight. People seem to go to bed really early in this hotel.

We went to eat here for my birthday. Despite a very chic environment, the food tasted wrong, and my wife threw up after eating here. We stopped midway through our meal, demanded the check and drove home to our villa to cook for ourselves instead. We enjoyed our stay at the Viceroy in Bali, but this was simply awful. The place gets one star because the sofa was comfortable.

Plas Kassav Inc is a local bakery that offers a unique array of pastries with cassava as the base ingredient. Visitors can witness part of the processing, making it an interactive experience. The range of pastries has expanded over the years to cater to varying tastes and flavors. Customers recommend arriving early in the day for a wider selection, as options may be limited later on. The salt fish flavor is particularly popular among visitors, while others enjoyed the peanut butter and cherry raisin varieties.
Uniquely tasty bread. Lovely texture. Crisp on the outside and doughy inside. But breaks easily. Flavors tried and enjoyed - Plain, chocolate, saltfish.

During my recent trip to Saint Lucia, I had the pleasure of visiting Howelton Estate 1896, a charming destination known for its vibrant arts and crafts. The estate features an impressive outlet shop where you can find unique items like batik clothing, handcrafted wallets, and organic coconut oils. Our knowledgeable guide provided fascinating insights into the production processes behind these local treasures. The estate is beautifully maintained with lush greenery that enhances its scenic views over Castries Harbour.
We visited the Howelton Estate while we were in Saint Lucia. The estate is popular for its arts and crafts such as batik clothing, handcrafted wallets, Coconut oils etc which are all for sale in the outlet shop. The guide was very good and took us through the estate and the products made there. There are nice views over the Castries harbour from the estate. Highly recommended activity if you're in the area.
Sanka I — Google review
The website raises expectations but the actual estate is very limited. The views across to the north are excellent, but the 40 minute estate tour is closer to 10 minutes via the gift shop and 3 bits of studio workshop plus the verandah and view. The guide was very likeable as was the lady doing a chocolate making workshop, which again would otherwise have been pretty limited. I had expected to see more of the estate and maybe some more history. Worth a stop-off as part of wider view of the area but maybe not otherwise.
Christopher L — Google review
Cool building & history. We had a lady talk to us about artisans on lower level. Bathrooms available. Bought drinks from rum punch / juice lady downstairs. Old, inexpensive & delicious. Found some ORANGE earrings in the shop! Been looking for years!
Dawne P — Google review
Howelton Estate is a quaint property where you can learn about batik, oil refining, and chocolate making. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. It’s a cashless property, so be sure to have a card (or small change if needed) if you’d like to purchase items in the gift shop. The only thing missing was a café or snack spot on-site — it would have been nice to sit, enjoy a bite, and take in the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, a great cultural and educational stop in St. Lucia!
Francine L — Google review
It’s a great place where they do batik printing, make cold pressed coconut oil. They have an amazing gift shop where they sell locally made goods, purses, T-shirts, jewellery, scarves etc. They also offer tours. Property is very well maintained and has maxing greenery. View of the water and parts of the island is amazing.
Hemanshu D — Google review
Excellent stop, very scenic views and it is no charge. Found the prices a bit too expensive. They could of done more, we sell chocolate here is an example. I liked walking around the grounds see vegetarian that you will only see on a tropical island
Jim T — Google review
Very nice little place with great view of city of Castries. They have different artists and making other demonstrations like chocolate and batik making. A big gift shop too, things are a bit overpriced! Worth a visit though.
W. L — Google review
It is a good place to visit. You have to take a tour if you are visiting on a cruise ship to get there. Once there, you have the opportunity to learn about the batik printing process and how organic chocolate bars and coconut oil are made. Also, after the tour, you can buy their products inside the estate.

Well I had a reservation for 4 for between 6-6:30 pm. It ended up being just me and my girl. We get there 6:30, we're pretty much the first ones there so there's plenty of tables to choose for where to sit. The place looks phenomenal! Great esthetics! We choose our seats. We get our menu and order our drinks. Only a handful of people start to come in. It took the waitress 20 minutes to get our drinks. The waitress came over with our drinks and asks us if we're ready to order. I say that we're both getting their most expensive meal on the menu which is a steak dinner. She was like oh I'm not sure if we have steak let me check with the cook. Ummm.... ok fine. But wouldn't being a waiter or waitress is knowing the menu and knowing what you have and don't have before your shift starts? That way when handing out menus you tell your patrons right away. Moving on, she gets back to us and says they do have it. Great! We're about 30 minutes in about this point. We order the food and then she says since it's karaoke night we will have to move from where we're seated because they have to move the tables 😕. No problem. We get up and move across to the other side of the restaurant. So we're waiting, about 45 minutes now. Then the waitress comes and says that the kitchen came into a little problem and that our food would be taking some time to get to our table. Fine. We finally got our meal about 8:05pm. I'm only giving 3 stars because the food was worth the wait! Steak was cooked to our liking but service was ok but not great. I still tipped her very well. The drinks should've been complementary.

This has been the worst meal i’ve had in a while, not just in St Lucia, but period. On a sunday evening, theyre pretty much the only thing open in the area with food. I placed my order at 5:45p and was told the chef doesn’t get in until 6. The chef came in at 6:22 and I was walking out with my meal at 7:17. I’d put waiting aside though if the food wasn’t so damn awful. Shrimp alfredo made with penne pasta, the pasta isn’t fully coated with sauce so there’s some pieces that are just plain pasta but it’s the only thing palatable. The shrimp isn’t seasoned at all, no salt no pepper, nothing. Nor was it tossed in sauce either so its just flavorless sitting ontop the pasta rubbing shoulders with whatever it can get in contact with in the box. The chicken fingers and french fries were my safety net incase I didn’t care for the shrimp alfredo (a lot of what I wanted that was listed on the menu wasn’t available so I was making the best of what was available) but this is actual dog food. The fries are stale re-fried fries, evident by the taste and the rock hard texture, not even ketchup and tartar sauce could soften it but the stale-er chicken tenders are even harder. There’s actually a piece with no chicken just a big chunk of fried batter. This is absolutely going in the garbage For such a beautifully designed space, a lot more effort should go into the food. The young ladies working were all very sweet and communicative but to pay for something im going to have to throw out is inexcusable. Ive tried food from a couple of spots and vendors with the area and they’ve all hit the spot. This was just painful, literally, the chicken feels like it shifted a molar while I was trying to chew it. I would never go back to eat not recommend it here

Great Ambience, well stocked bar and friendly staff. Although I did not eat, the food looked and smelled good and the number of happy customers pretty much confirmed that.

Loved the ambience, the food was prepared and served rather quickly and was quite sumptuous. Good and attentive service too.

Situated at the Rodney Bay marina, Boardwalk Bar offers a prime spot to witness stunning sunsets over the water. It's a popular hangout for yacht-goers and locals alike, who gather for happy hour and live music on weekends. The laid-back atmosphere welcomes families to unwind with cold beers and special rum drinks. Visitors can also enjoy quiz nights and support local causes while sipping cocktails with a view of the bay.
Loved this place from the moment I sat down! Super friendly staff, ice cold beers and extra special rum drinks with a little strong rum floater if you want one. I even told the owner that they all deserved a raise. So many people are over critical but put yourselves in their shoes… 👠 and remember it’s island time in these parts!

Wish we came to this bar sooner in our trip, would have come every night. Lively little spot right on the water with good music, good vibes, and the most affordable beers of anywhere I found while in Rodney Bay. Great spot to enjoy the night.

My wife, our younger son, his wife and I went here twice during our one week trip to Saint Lucia in October 2024. We all enjoyed the ambience a lot A big shout out to Lintus for really looking after us and always with a big smile

We went to the Boardwalk Bar for their Quiz night for the Saint Lucia Animal Protection Society (it’s the first Tuesday of every month except for December) and it was a BLAST! Started at 7PM and was your classic trivia night- great questions & great cocktails. We’ll be back and Shake n’ Bake will do better than 7th 😆

A nice place to stay and have a beer or cocktail, unfortunately the staff is not really friendly. Anyone who expects Caribbean joie de vivre will be greeted with feminine arrogance.

Came to this bar several times, nice drinks and very friendly service. Lovely spot to sit by the water. However I wish the staff would enforce the no smoking policy. Despite signs, on each visit, other patrons have sat openly smoking cigarettes and cannabis. Both stink and is really unpleasant.

A satisfying experience on the water's edge, fresh breeze and well stocked bar. Perfect for indulging in captivating sunset evenings

Located at Sugar Beach Viceroy, the Bayside restaurant offers a stunning view of St. Lucia's iconic Pitons while serving delectable seaside cuisine. The chic design and airy Caribbean ambiance create a perfect setting for enjoying gourmet wood-fired pizzas and an array of cocktails. Guests can indulge in a wide-ranging buffet breakfast with options like pancakes, pastries, tropical fruits, and made-to-order smoothies in a separate air-conditioned room.
Zakiya was our waiter and was outstanding. The food wells amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly and the salmon was superb. The view of the sunset just set it all together. Love this place.

Service was top notch with the staff really paying attention to us...I really can't give enough priase to the staff...they are wonderful. Food was ok and we liked just about everything we tried. Views of the pool area made for a neat ambience. As a bonus, a local cat cuddled up next to my foot...she was really sweet!

Always had great service here. The Confit De Poulet was absolutely amazing, so much flavor and cooked perfectly!! The crème brulee was fantastic as well

Excellent for (Buffet) Breakfast and Lunches with wide ranging choices. Different international theme each day for lunch. Excellent also for Dinner where some of the dishes were top class with wonderful flavour and great presentation. Hats off to the chef! House wine is good too! Staff very attentive with a smile on their faces. The view at Breakfast and Lunch is stunning!

We ate breakfast here every morning at Sandals and we loved it! The buffet is huge and sits in a separate, air conditioned room. You get to choose between cereal, pancakes, French toast, pastries, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh tropical fruit, fruit compotes, two different types of syrups, three different types of fruit juices, and more. There are also made to order smoothies. The staff is really friendly and attentive. It is an outdoor, open air restaurant, so there are lots of birds that swoop in and steal leftovers. They'll stay away from you as long as you are at the table, but if you leave any food unattended, prepare to have it stolen by these feathered fiends. And watch your chair for bird poop, although the staff is usually good about wiping it off. Great way to start the day, everyday!

Please for the love of god don’t believe any positive reviews for this place. Sandals should be condemned.
Scott K — Google review
Of all the restaurants, we ate here the most because it’s easy with the buffet option for breakfast/lunch and many tasty options for everyone to pick and choose. They also serve dinner with a French theme and it’s not buffet; it’s a sit down and a nice vibe. You can eat at the restaurant to make a plate to go back to the pool or your room. We liked the breakfast since it was more on our own. I gave service a 3 star due to our dinner experience - our server was very pushy and aggressive with us to the point I asked for a new server. I’ll note that was not our experience anywhere else or any other time but it did leave a bad taste in our mouths. Overall, this is a good option for people on their own schedule.

The execution of the plating was fabulous. The food was great. Being a first-timer to sushi the female chef that night alongside the head chef went all out and it was a perfect introduction to a new type of food.

(Translated by Google) We had a great time at this beach restaurant, with excellent service and good food. We should add an ice cream stand 🍦 and coconut water. Good food. Good service. Good vibes. Prices are in US Dollars!!! A bit expensive for Gros Islet... but it's connected to a resort that caters to guests unlike local restaurants outside the resort.
