Hotel
Nestled in the charming village of Deia amidst the Tramuntana Mountains, La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca offers 71 elegant rooms, suites, and villas with breathtaking views. The hotel features award-winning dining at El Olivo, a full-service spa, fitness center, tennis courts, and two outdoor pools.
Practically perfect in every way. It’s a luxury hotel with a true sense of place. If your taste is ultra modern you may not like it, but if you enjoy classic this is the place for you. Truly stunning views that photos can’t capture. Excellent service all around. Food and drinks were very good. Kids club was small but nice and plenty for kiddo. The included activities are amazing especially the sunset cruise. If you’re imagining a beach vacation this is set up in the cliffs so you’ll need to drive. Yes it’s expensive but one of the rare luxury hotels were it felt worth it.

We just left from our stay at the La Residencia and it was nothing short of perfection. My husband and I just spent the beginning of our honeymoon with them and not only is this property absolutely stunning, the service and attention to detail is unmatched. From start to finish their staff is unbelievably kind, professional, and genuine and truly made our honeymoon better than we could have imagined. Not to mention the food across all the restaurants is fantastic. El Olivo was amazing and such a unique experience but our favorite meal was at Miro. I couldn’t recommend this place more!! Worth every penny!
Sydney A — Google review
While visiting Deià with my partner, we were eager to experience La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel. We also stopped by the bar, where the experience was truly exceptional thanks to the manager, Jorge. We started inside before he kindly found us a beautiful table on the terrace — the perfect setting. A special mention for the Old Fashioned, without question the best I’ve ever had in my life.
Antoine E — Google review
Our stay at La Residencia was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived early, the team made us feel so welcome, we were invited to enjoy the facilities, even playing a bit of tennis and relaxing by the pool, where we were instantly served refreshing vitamin C spritz and water. Our room was ready by a couple hours early, and the generous upgrade with postcard-perfect views was such a treat! Lunch at Tramuntana Grill and dinner at Restaurante Miró were both top-notch. We loved the welcome wine, nightly treats, and the delicious breakfast with warm, attentive service. The spa was amazing — so peaceful and rejuvenating — and the olive oil class was a fun, educational highlight (we’re still dreaming about the Valrhona chocolate with olive oil and sea salt!). Every detail, from start to finish (including the kind gentleman who gave us water for the drive home) reflected genuine care and thoughtfulness. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful sanctuary in Deia!
Louissa W — Google review
It was a pleasant experience. The management team was probably the most attentive team we’ve seen so far, making sure everything was okay. The fact that they provided water throughout the property to avoid using plastic was an amazing plus. The cleaning team did their job well, though sometimes they left bottles outside, which could fall and break. The scenery is probably the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. We received daily gifts, which was really nice, along with fresh fruit and flowers every day. However, the rooms and services didn’t quite match the price we paid. The restaurant we tried (Miro) was one of the weakest we’ve been to — there are far better options in Deia, so we ended up eating out most of the time. The sunset cruise is a must and a really great addition. Overall, the experience was very nice, but we don’t feel it justified the price compared to other places we’ve stayed at for a similar cost.
Levi E — Google review
We stayed here last May and the weather, location, rooms, and staff were all perfect. The property is stunning. The only reason for 4 stars is the food, breakfast was good, poolside snacks and drinks were nice, but the restaurant meals were disappointing. For comparison, we stayed at The Palace in Barcelona where the food was so good we didn’t want to leave. I hope the dining here improves because everything else was truly exceptional.
Suzana V — Google review
Simply magnificent. Visited to enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace. This hotel is magical - breathtaking views of the mountains, impeccable service, wonderful gardens, it simply oozes class and elegance. It’s as if you enter a different world. We did stay for 2 nights a few year ago to celebrate my birthday and have visited several times for afternoon tea- it’s one of best hotels we have been to.

This amazing hotel is located in the even more amazing mountain village of Deia. High price range, but worth every penny. Stylish, sophisticated and just as romantic as a dream. The staff gets the highest marks. You feel very welcome.

Nestled in Mallorca's Tramuntana mountains, Castell Son Claret is a luxurious former castle dating back to the 15th century. The property boasts extensive grounds with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy a panoramic swimming pool, deluxe spa, and the only two Michelin star restaurant in the Balearic Islands. The spa offers a range of treatments using scents inspired by the hotel's Mediterranean gardens, and outdoor massages can be enjoyed amidst this picturesque setting.
We had a wonderful stay at Castell Son Claret. After coming from a lively beach resort, the peacefulness of this property were a welcome change. The gardens are truly stunning, and the service throughout our stay was warm and attentive. Our room interiors looked a bit dated, but they were still very well maintained-spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bedding was wonderful! Breakfast was a real highlight for me, and we also loved our poolside afternoons and relaxed dinners on-site. Lovely place and would recommend!
Jennifer L — Google review
We have a little bit mixed emotions about this hotel. The overall stay was nice, the castle itself and the grounds are amazing and the staff is very friendly. BUT for a hotel in this price range there were many small things that doesn’t justify the high price. 1) In the room there was a kettle but no tea bags. 2) The water from the shower leaked somehow to the toilet area next to the shower. 3) At the breakfast they mix up the orders or they forget to bring something that you ordered. 4) We ordered a soft boiled egg on two different days, they always came fully hard cooked. The first soft boiled egg came on the third day. 5) Drinking water by the pool should be included, there are many hotels in a price range 300€/night where the water is always included (sometimes also snacks). So for a hotel in a range 500€+/night it would be also expected - they offer a refillable bottle for 8€/day which is a good idea, but still… 6) Somebody drank 2 coffees in the main garden area, where the pond is located and nobody cleaned this table for 2 next days. The empty cups were just standing there and they put them away first on a third day. Overall it was a good stay, but we were not blown away considering the price/quality ratio. Also it would suit the hotel more if it was Adults only as the pool area is quite small and yelling children don’t quite fit the relaxing atmosphere.
Martin F — Google review
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and was our favorite of the three hotels we stayed at during our honeymoon. If you're a reader, you'll enjoy finding a nice secret place to get lost in a story in the fruitful garden. For athletes, there's a tennis court amidst the hills, and for rest seekers there is no more beautiful a space than the pool area, (and the menu is delicious)! The reason for the 4 star review is how we felt upon leaving the hotel. On one of our many amazing pool days, we happened to be sitting right next to another newlywed couple. We excitedly told the waitress we were celebrating our honeymoon just like the couple next to us. While they received many treats, desserts and champagne, we did not. And though we came in with 0 expectations, having that in our face was disheartening. This review will not affect many, because Castell is truly a special and unforgettable. My note to the hotel staff: treat all celebrations and people equally, you may be surprised at what gets noticed.
Meredith S — Google review
The estate and grounds are absolutely beautiful. But the service is atrocious. In no means is this a five star hotel. If it was four stars and less expensive it would’ve made sense. However it was not. Upon checking in they were unprepared and it was bad service from the start. They offered us free breakfast since our room wasn’t ready, and then retracted the offer once we were eating, making us pay. They didn’t notify us when the room was ready as promised, so we waited at the pool in the rain for two extra hours. Upon checking in we wanted to shower and nap. However the shower was broken, spewing water all over the entire bathroom. And the bed sheets were stained with what looked like blood. They came to fix that all but no apologies. There was no valet ready to attend to your car, despite being told you can only valet (we often had to walk inside to hand them the keys, and sometimes no one was even there). There’s a small staff and they’re rarely around. No water in the room with daily cleaning service, no turn down service. If you are expecting five star service at this “five star” hotel, definitely go elsewhere, as you won’t find it here. If you want to overpay for a pretty castle with bad service, you’ve found the place. (After checking out they charged us for meals and drinks we never got… and refused to take them off the bill)
Lauren N — Google review
4th year going to Castell and will be going again next year. Roberto and Jacob on the bar never fail to impress, Stephanie and Pablo and Auriel on the pool bar just so friendly and attentive and Eduardo and another character (I didn't catch the name of) on the breakfasts making us feel really welcome. We had a slight issue the first night and it was fixed very quickly and they constantly made our 16 month old feel very welcome. See you next year.
Joshua C — Google review
The hotel is like an oasis in the island. Love Olivera restaurant and the pool area. Service is great. The property is really pretty.
María B — Google review
Beautiful, luxury hide-away in a very quiet, green valley in the Tramuntana mountains. Far away from the noise and crowds elsewhere on Mallorca. Perfect, extremely friendly service, excellent food and wines, fantastic pool and a lot of nature. Summary: If you need some quiet time in a wonderful surrounding - that's the place to go on Mallorca.

We had an incredible stay here for our honeymoon. This hotel is everything you could ask for during your stay in Mallorca. Great staff, excellent food and clean and cozy rooms. Highly recommend!!!!

Cap Rocat is a luxurious hotel located in a secluded area of the bay of Palma de Mallorca. It was once a military fortress and has been transformed into an exclusive resort, blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The former shooting pads have been converted into suites with private terraces offering stunning views, while smaller rooms are available in the original Soldiers Quarters.
Amazing experience, I highly recommend coming here while in Mallorca. We came for lunch so that we could see the blue water and we were so happy we did. Service was impeccable, food was good! Views were amazing. This restaurant is definitely worth the visit. Even if you don’t like seafood, I would still come for the experience and scenery.
Mich O — Google review
We went to the Sea Club for dinner last week and it was lovely! They graciously took us to the restaurant with a golf cart which was a necessity since we were wearing high heels and the restaurant location was a bit far from the parking/drop off area. The view was absolutely breathtaking! If you can request to seat in the first row of tables so you view is not blocked by other tables. They request that you stay off your phone and refrain from standing up to take pictures. However, it is not enforced many people were still taking pictures and videos of the sunset. The ideal time for a dinner reservation is 8:30pm. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was we ordered the shrimp carpaccio and it was inedible none of us could eat it, they were very accommodating and replaced it with another dish. They also do not have many gluten free options. The service was good but not excellent.
Emma W — Google review
This was by far our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From when I booked it a year ago up until we departed, the attention to detail was near perfect. Every aspect of your stay is done so well I was actually waiting for something to go wrong and it never did. Concierge crafted the perfect itinerary for us and made adjustments onsite as needed. There’s also such a low amount of hotel guests that it feels like it’s your own place. The daily breakfast, sea club, and general service from all the hotel employees was truly unreal. The best honeymoon location we could’ve asked for! Thank you Cap Rocat team!!
Joseph B — Google review
Sea club restaurant is my favorite one on the island, a mix of chic, perfect discreet service and amazing food. They manage to be at the same time simple and elegant... pure bliss. And you can watch the sunset from its terrace. A + : phone is forbidden so you don't have the influencers taking selfies while you eat... as said, elegant.

FOOD POISONING WITH HOSTILE RESPONSE I am writing to warn others about a recent (September 2025) visit. The service and hospitality were extremely disappointing and ultimately became hostile as the hotel became concerned about its risk exposure to a health incident for which I believe (but cannot confirm) it was responsible. For context and disclosure on the opinion contained in this review, I work in hospitality and have high expectations, and at the time of my stay at Cap Rocat I was 16 weeks pregnant and traveling alone. I feel obligated to warn all future guests who are considering this property about my experience. I acknowledge that it is difficult to identify the precise origin of food poisoning. In this case however, I am extremely confident my food poisoning came from food at Cap Rocat. After arriving and exploring the property in the afternoon, I ordered tagliatelle with shrimp to my room for an early dinner. Approximately four hours after my dinner, I began to experience nausea and within an hour of that vomiting began. Extreme symptoms continued for almost 10 hours after the initial onset. For the duration of my symptoms, I also requested sports drinks, water and ice, which the hotel promptly provided. Not being a health professional, and without access to my OBGYN in the United States to alleviate concerns or guide me through how I could get relief, I was extremely concerned about the health of my baby and to a lesser extent my own health. The doctor who ultimately arrived had excellent bedside manner. Her exam confirmed an elevated heart rate, but she was not able to take my temperature because she had failed to bring a thermometer, explaining the hotel had not notified her about my complaints of a suspected fever. Tests for two types of flu and covid tests all returned negative. Upon finishing the exam, she informed me that after reviewing all of my symptoms she believed I was experiencing food poisoning but without a stool sample it would be impossible to be sure. She gave me anti-nausea medicine and a pregnancy safe fever reducer. She left, and symptoms began to go away. I was not provided a copy of her report. The first indication that the Hotel was concerned about their exposure to my illness came from my travel agent (and friend) who took the initiative to call the hotel when my symptoms were extreme and a doctor was not expected to arrive for many hours. He reported back to me that the hotel was denying all responsibility for my illness. This position continued through checkout, where the hotel maintained that the doctors report indicated that my symptoms were NOT the result of food poisoning and that *if it was food poisoning* it could not have come from the hotel’s kitchens because no other guests who were consuming the hotel’s food had reported issues. Furthermore, the medical report cited by the hotel has still not been provided to me despite repeated requests to the medical group contracted by the hotel. I was hopeful that Cap Rocat would offer *some* gesture to acknowledge my less than pleasant experience that I believe resulted from a lapse in their food safety protocols. This expectation was misplaced. Ultimately the hotel staff treated me with contempt, telling me at checkout that I never had a fever nor food poisoning according to the report, despite what the doctor told me directly, face to face, and the staff refused to take any responsibility for what was quite clearly food poisoning and offered no refund or discount, and no gesture to make up for an unpleasant stay, for which I am highly confident they are to blame.
Hannah B — Google review
Cap Rocat is an absolutely stunning property, and the Sea Club is the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever visited. A special mention to Benjamin, who drove us to the restaurant in the buggy, he was wonderful. He went out of his way to make our evening memorable, took lovely photos, and made sure we had the best time. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Mallorca.

Son Bunyola Hotel & Villas is a newly opened luxury estate nestled in the wild and original landscape of Mallorca. Set on a 16th-century finca surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, it offers breathtaking views of the sea and Tramuntana mountains. The meticulously restored property promises privacy, authenticity, and understated luxury with warm service, a world-class restaurant, wellness center, and an inviting pool.
A Truly Unforgettable Stay! From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The property is absolutely stunning, beyond beautiful, with breathtaking views in every direction. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the hiking trails right on the property, perfect for exploring the natural surroundings and soaking in the scenery. This place is the definition of luxury. We felt pampered and relaxed from start to finish and honestly didn’t want to leave.

We had the most wonderful two-night stay at Son Bunyola. From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical, the breathtaking scenery, the peaceful atmosphere, and the feeling of being completely cared for. What made the experience even more special was meeting Marina. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Her warmth and kindness truly stood out, and she added such a personal touch to our stay. Son Bunyola is the perfect blend of luxury and charm, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of when we can return. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mallorca, it’s an unforgettable experience!

One of the most magnificent hotel experiences of my entire life. The service is of the highest quality (think, Four Seasons) and the setting is absolutely stunning. You can tell that Sir Branson genuinely cared about this property as he and his team developed it, and the staff are wonderful stewards of the property. The hotel employees (Guido, in particular!) will go to all lengths to ensure a pleasant stay. They were responsive and easy to communicate with from prior to our stay until the moment we left. This hotel is approximately 45 minutes from Palma and feels extremely private and secluded, tucked away in the north of the island. THANK YOU Son Bunyola for making our stay so pleasant.
Nick J — Google review
We had heard great things about Sir Richard Branson’s Son Bunyola estate and thought it would be a nice idea to stop by, see the property, and enjoy a drink at the bar. A quick phone call beforehand confirmed it should be “no problem” – which, in most places, means you’re welcome to come. When we arrived, however, the gate staff politely but firmly refused entry, explaining that there was “no staff to serve people at the bar.” On a Friday night, no less. Not exactly the kind of sentence you expect to hear from a luxury property with global name recognition. It’s a pity, because first impressions matter – and ours ended before they even began. We completely understand that privacy and exclusivity are part of the appeal, but a clear and consistent message from the start would have spared us the trip and the disappointment. Next time, we’ll choose properties like Four Seasons, Jumeirah, or St. Regis – places where hospitality doesn’t take the night off.

Always feeing recharged after visiting this hotel. We tried the Pistacho tiramisu and it was incredibly delicious. It’s the perfect place if you want to spend some quality time and disconnect.
Vicktoria J — Google review
Restaurant was a mixed bag. Average entrees and desserts, though our main courses were excellent. The 39 page wine list had only 2 foreign country white wine options, France and Germany and nothing reasonably priced. Obviously it's 5 star but that's not normal for wine options..
John B — Google review
Fantastic hotel with plenty of onsite activities, amazing food, and beach access. It’s not super close to other towns/cities like Palma, Deia, or Valldemossa, so 2 nights felt like the perfect amount of time to stay put and relax.

Stayed there for a couple of days and really enjoyed our time there. The staff was super friendly and helped with everything we needed - they organised a great tennis trainer for us. The property is amazing with a stunning combination of old and modern - everything is cared about with great detail. We really enjoyed our days there and would love to come again.

Our second stay at Son Brull this year was simply amazing! It’s clear that we absolutely love this place. The service is top-notch, the facilities are luxurious, and the location is breathtaking. The staff are incredibly attentive and always go the extra mile to make sure we feel welcome and comfortable. The recent refurbishment has taken it to the next level! Here’s what we loved: - The staff are all super friendly and personal, and they really go above and beyond to make sure we have a great time. Even the hotel owners check in on us during our stay. - The hotel has 2 beautiful pools, a spa, and our bedroom has all the amenities you could ever want. - The food is absolutely delicious! We had a great time at the Bistro and the 3/65 restaurant is a must-try. - The hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and offers stunning views towards the mountains. - The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are always there to help if you need anything. Overall, Son Brull is an incredible place to stay. We highly recommend it!

I have been here for lunch two times, both providing really nice service, views and food!! You can see just how much effort is put into the home-grown things, and I really value that when going out to dine. Would totally recommend, the quality of the food is outstanding and the cocktails are delicious. Also their gardens are simply stunning x

Staying at Son Brull was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the grounds takes your breath away – perfectly kept, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. The staff are warm, attentive, and go above and beyond to make every detail flawless. Cleanliness is beyond exceptional, truly a 10+. The farm-to-table concept is brought to life here with the freshest ingredients, and the culinary experience is elevated even further by a fabulous chef whose dishes are both creative and unforgettable. Son Brull is the perfect blend of luxury, authenticity, and heart – an absolute must for anyone looking for a five-star experience in Majorca!

Officially one of our favorite hotels on the planet. We had a truly perfect 72 hrs at Son Brull, and we miss it already. Thank you all for the unforgettable few days.

Edited after the reply from Son Brull: The reply further reinforces my view that this has been a poor experience overall. Not only is it extremely dismissive of a paying customers concerns, but it is not professional or necessary for a business owner to include detailed information (such as room numbers, private conversations, or smoking habits) in a public response. Doing so comes across as defensive and deflects responsibility rather than addressing the concerns raised. I was invited over email by R&C (addressed to me under the wrong name, unsurprisingly) to provide feedback on my recent stay, which I did. I never received a reply. I hadn’t intended to share this publicly, but here it is: We recently stayed at Son Brull for our honeymoon, which we had mentioned in advance. However, it was never acknowledged throughout the entire stay, not even a nod by the front desk. By contrast, when we stayed at Nobis in Palma, we were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. I don’t necessarily expect a room upgrade, but even a genuine acknowledgment would have made a big difference. The room felt very basic: two single beds pushed together, and a small bottle of cava with a note. Since we don’t drink cava, it came across as more of a generic gesture than a thoughtful welcome. Service overall was inconsistent and, at times, quite poor: Bar & Pool: Only some staff seemed empowered to take orders. I was repeatedly served the wrong drinks (iced coffee instead of oat latte, Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke, etc.). Bistro: Food was average, and service was slow—at times we waited up to 30 minutes without acknowledgment. On our second night we had a screaming baby at the restaurant at 9.30pm which was surprising. Poolside: On the final day, fresh water and watermelon were offered, which was great—but where was this during the first four days? The inconsistency was striking! Spa & Front Desk: We attempted to book a couples massage but were only informed one hour beforehand that the slot was unavailable. Communication between the spa and the front desk needs to be better. The spa itself felt outdated, with some jets not working, and would benefit from renovations. At the front desk, I asked for water and was told, “You should have some in your room.” Guests shouldn’t be questioned when making a simple request, just provide what they need. This theme of unnecessary resistance ran throughout our stay on a daily basis. Breakfast options were quite limited compared to similar hotels of this level. The worst experience came with transport. My partner and I were stranded in Pollença town, just 10 minutes away, after waiting an hour at a taxi rank with no success. I called Son Brull for assistance, not to collect us, but simply to provide a number or guidance. The response was essentially, “We can’t help.” This forced us to walk back along an extremely dangerous road in pitch darkness. When we finally returned close to midnight, we weren’t even allowed to have a beer. Eventually, we were served one in a dark corner, away from the restaurant which only reinforced the feeling of being treated like second-class guests. Overall, there were some good staff members, but the lack of consistency and empowerment made the overall experience disappointing. Many issues seem to come down to management. For a hotel of this standard, especially for a honeymoon, our experience fell far short of expectations. It was an immense disappointment and I won't be rushing back. If you are a couple looking for a great and relaxing experience, might be best to look elsewhere.

My husband and I came here for the second leg of our honey moon and we were so pleased with the experience. They sent champagne to our room in celebration. The location is amazing and couldn’t be any better. It is so close to so many amazing shops and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms and hotel in itself are stunning, with such fun and unique details in the hotel rooms. Complimentary breakfast is wonderful every morning. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Can Bordoy. The hotel staff were so nice and helpful. The garden and rooftop pool choices were both amazing. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful. I would recommend to get the breakfast option as the selection is great and to eat in the garden is very special. Only one small negative was the Spa was overpriced and not very good. I’d go again but not to the spa.

From the moment we arrived at Can Bordoy, we were welcomed to an atmosphere of warmth. Staying at Bordoy during our wedding weekend was one of the best decisions we made. Every detail—from the garden setting to the exquisite interiors—felt like something out of a dream. The team at Can Bordoy didn’t just accommodate us; they anticipated our every need with grace and care. Their attention to detail was astonishing, making our wedding weekend seamless, intimate, and deeply personal. Special thanks to the staff, (Miguel and Others) who treated us like family. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication made all the difference. Can Bordoy is not just a venue—it’s a sanctuary. We left feeling grateful, inspired, and already dreaming of our return to Mallorca!

An excellent hotel. It's clear they poured money and love into this hotel and it's renovation. The rooms and public spaces are opulent and interesting. It's located in a great walkable part of the city. You're close to all the major sights and shopping etc. Swimming Pool and Restaurant are exceptional additions to a winning product!

Definitely more of a splurge depending on your budget, but for me it was a 20/10 experience—from the room, to the food, to the service. The hospitality was unmatched, and I loved that you can text all your needs through WhatsApp. Breakfast on the rooftop, a garden pool, and walking distance to the main shopping street, restaurants, and morethe location could not be better. I even got a massage while staying here and it was amazing

Sant Francesc Hotel Singular is a luxurious hotel in Palma that offers stunning sea views and a spa. The rooftop terrace features a pool and a sushi bar, providing guests with an upscale experience. The hotel boasts 42 beautifully restored rooms in a 19th-century mansion, blending original neoclassical elements with contemporary design touches. The interior design by Maria Jose Cabre achieves the perfect balance between eclecticism and minimalism.
Beautiful restored mansion converted into luxury hotel with roof top bar and pool. Located just blocks from the central city, but out of the sprawling humanity from multiple daily large cruise ships. Diego at check in was superb. He graciously changed our room when we decided it did not fit our needs. Breakfast with Leo each morning was perfect. Really good food. All of the restaurant recommendations were excellent. You will love this small, luxury hotel.

Sant Francesc is a beautiful former private mansion and now an ultra-modern, luxurious boutique hotel. We did a wedding there, our bride chose the typical Majorcan courtyard of Sant Francesc, as it combines the mansion's original architecture and olive trees with its ultra-modern new design. The staff is absolutely brilliant and kind. We love this place! We absolutely recommend it as a base for your destination wedding.

Sant Francesc Hotel is my favourite hotel in Mallorca. The building is architecturally beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is perfectly central. The rooms are modern, artistic and the beds are very comfortable. The rooftop is fantastic for sunbathing, lunch or a glass of wine / cocktail, or two. We stayed at the hotel for the second time recently and we will return again next year for part of our honeymoon…we love the hotel that much.

One of the best hotels I‘ve ever stayed in. Beautiful decorated, great breakfast and a Michelin star restaurant not to be missed. The reception staff is also amazing. Will be back!
Dirk E — Google review
The public areas of the hotel are very well maintained and that’s where it ends. The rooms are very shabby, it’s pretty dated, the pool area is quite run down, scruffy old beds, no umbrellas and no shower facilities. The gym isn’t a gym, it’s a broom cupboard with a treadmill. Similarly the spa isn’t a “spa”, a couple of small treatment rooms, no showers, pool, etc. Completely agree with other reviews that state it’s not 5 star, particularly for the price. Those giving it 5/5 must not have experienced very many 5 star hotels before, because this certainly isn’t. The grandeur in the lobby isn’t matched anywhere else, and the service wasn’t elevated. Just want you’d expect from any normal hotel. There are much nicer in palma where you get better VFM.

El Llorenç Parc de la Mar is a sophisticated boutique hotel situated in the historic quarter of Calatrava in Palma. The hotel offers a serene and refined atmosphere, with an adult-only policy adding to its exclusivity. Renowned designer Magnus Ehrland has infused the space with unique touches, such as an attractive infinity pool surrounded by Balinese beds and emerald parasols.
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time using all this hotel has to offer. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The food (brunch, and rooftop menu) were superb and some of the best hotel food weve ever had. The rooftop alone is amazing- pool overlooking the water and nearby area. Cabanas were lovely. Spa was great- massage was awesome and facilities were impeccable. Lastly, the room was finely designed and had a luxurious feel. Not to mention 15 minute walk to the old Part of Palma. Love this place!

LOVE this place. Boutique hotel where every detail is so carefully thought out; from design features, layout, super helpful staff, great food including really excellent breakfasts. Pool area is gorgeous with comfy beds overlooking infinity pool out to the sea. Lovely bathroom has a great layout; beautiful products too. Location is just minutes from the cathedral, 10 minutes into central Palma and only a 25 minute walk by the coast to the lovely village of Portixol.

Excellent hotel within walking distance to the best parts of Palma. The hotel rooms are stunning and stocked with le labo products, but seriously the service at the hotel is so good. Anytime we needed a cab, they had one for us in less than 5 minutes, they had tips for amazing food spots and day trips, and helped with little things like breaking bills etc. Personally, I needed their help after checking out due to forgetting some items in the hotel and at a local spot. They coordinated the delivery of the items to the hotel and set me up with a shipping process to seamlessly get my items back to me. They have been so incredibly helpful, and I can’t wait to come stay again!

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was amazing—probably the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Everything is impeccably maintained (it’s nine years old but looks no more than two). The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and we always felt pampered and well cared for. The location is perfect: super close to the center yet secluded enough to be peaceful, and right next to the cathedral.

My husband and I spent a great 2 nights in this gorgeous, adults only boutique hotel well located close to everything in Palma. Delicious, varied breakfasts and really friendly, helpful staff. Lovely little touches like complimentary water by the pool and le Labo bathroom products. Fab rooftop bar, restaurant and pool. Full use of the facilities and the spa to freshen up after check out and ahead of a late flight, which is really appreciated. Only complaint is that the hotel doesn’t have enough sunbeds for all guests - mostly fine in the morning but by lunchtime/early afternoon you’ll easily end up being disappointed - which is frustrating when you’re paying £400/£500 per night… Otherwise, gorgeous!

Was here for six nights in May. Wonderful stay. Well designed and nicely decorated hotel close to the Cathedral in Palma. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooftop area. Good food. Impeccable hotel in all facets. Great location (so central), beautiful old building with loads of character. Great styled big rooms, amazing beds. Great service from all staff, they go the extra mile. Very good and very fresh breakfast with loads of options. Best restaurant we found in Mallorca (De Tokia a Lima) in the hotel, amazing food. Nice little plunge pool on the roof with very comfy big sun beds.

Perfect location in the heart of old town Palma, walk right out the door to wonderful restaurants, bars and the marina. Loved breakfast on the terrace overlooking the street. Lovely pool and rooftop views of the whole city. Our room was huge and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful (although I'd skip most of the hotel's restaurant recommendations -- pretty touristy and average). My one recommendation would be to validate some of all cost of parking -- the public garage is close by but it'a 30 euro ($35) per day, and for $650 a night per room, validation would be nice.

Hotel Review: Can Alomar Luxury Retreat My wife and I recently enjoyed a four-night stay at the beautiful Can Alomar retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very special. All the staff members went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The staff were extremely friendly, always asking how our day had been and what we’d been up to. They offered numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities that we might enjoy. Our room was lovely and very comfortable - stylishly decorated with thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection of both buffet and à la carte options. The Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The pool area was quiet, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Overall, I’d say the standout strength of this hotel is its staff. I would highly recommend Can Alomar for anyone planning a weekend stay in Palma. One final point to mention — the location is superb, right on the Passeig de Born, with views of the cathedral.

The property is spectacular with every detail taken care of and located in the center of the city in walking distance to all major sites and wonderful restaurants. The staff really made our experience extra special, Daniel made us feel at home with activity/restaurant recommendations and reservations tending to all our needs. Sofia supported us when we had travel delays going above and beyond in coordinating with the airlines and accommodating our extra nights. We also got to explore the sister property spa which helped us relax after our travel delay. I plan to continue to come back anytime I’m in Palma.

Since I was not asked how my stay was, when I just paid 1600 euros for two nights, I can give my feedback here: the room was one of the worst I ever had in this price category with the only window going to a public(!) terrace, where I could also hear the staff work and slam doors from 6:15 am until midnight. At breakfast they forgot my order. Unfortunately, nobody asked me about the stay when I paid, so here we are.

Such a gorgeous resort! We had such a lovely and relaxing time here. I would recommend this hotel over and over. The hotel is close to the airport although it’s a drive from everything so that is the only thing to consider. If you are looking to relax and stay on resort for majority of your trip this would be the perfect spot for you. The breakfast was incredible, the staff was very kind, their pool area is gorgeous as is the entire property. We had a massage and it was very nice. Their restaurant I was great and had a fixed menu for dinner. Extremely romantic spot. Highly recommend!

Poor check in experience… room wasn’t ready (which is totally fine), but wouldn’t bring bags back for us from luggage room. Made us change in luggage room across the hotel with bugs / spiderwebs vs bringing the luggage to change in a proper restroom We’ve also had an issue with the air conditioning (see other reviews). Broke randomly in the middle of the night and they don’t have anyone on site to fix it “will need to speak to manager later” Forgot to book my wife’s spa appointment after discussing live and then they “were fully booked” Run, don’t walk from this place. I’d rather stay at a motel 6 (which is great) Listen to the other real reviews

Beautiful hotel in the Majorca countryside. The room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Excellent location and setting for unwinding. The included breakfast was truly excellent in quality and taste and with good variety, you have buffet and à la cart options. One of the best I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. Dinner was also excellent with 3 course options for 70 euros/person. Had asked for an iron the front desk said would deliver to room but never did until asked the 2nd time. Shower with good water pressure however really could use more light in there as the only light was low in the ground so essentially showering in darkness. Overall, would definitely come back. Only disappointment was the upgrade from regular garden room to deluxe garden room. The hotel was probably 50% full, was expecting with Chase Edit there would be an upgrade to at least something of a suite. Not sure that Chase Edit would be worth it if booking with cash.

We came to their restaurant two years ago and absolutely loved it, so we were really looking forward to coming back—this time with our baby. We made a reservation in advance, and nowhere did it say it was adults only. No warning on the website, booking form, or confirmation email. Nothing. We drove a long way to get there, were greeted, seated, and even handed menus. Then, after all that, they came over and told us it was adults only and offered us a table inside. The place was almost empty, and our baby was just sitting quietly. What made it worse was the way it was said—like they were trying to hide the baby, as if her presence was a problem they needed to deal with discreetly. It felt really off and uncomfortable. We felt completely unwelcome and had to leave. Honestly, it was such a disappointing and frustrating experience. If you don’t allow children, just say it clearly before people show up. Wasting people’s time like this is really not okay. Won’t be returning.

This stay exceeded our expectations! Amazing rooms, property, pool, amenities, F&B, and team. I loved spending time here, but it does feel isolated from the rest of the island, which we didn't mind for this trip! Even on a Saturday in August, the pool felt so calm and there was always a lounger available. Note on location: If you are looking a relaxing holiday and don't want to leave the property very much, then this is perfect. But, just beware if you are wanting this to be a jumping off place, it's not the most accessible without a car and at least 30-40min drive to the coast.
Rae M — Google review
!!!!! We had a reservation for dinner this evening, and although there was absolutely no indication — either on your website or in the confirmation email — that the restaurant was adults-only, we were seated and then told 20 minutes later that unfortunately you could not serve us due to this policy. This is completely unacceptable!!!!! Not only was this rule not communicated at any point in the reservation process, but the way the situation was handled — letting us wait and then asking us to leave — ruined our entire evening. We spent time and effort to get there, only to be turned away based on a rule we were never made aware of. To make things worse, as we were about to leave, we were casually offered to “sit somewhere inside,” which frankly felt like an afterthought and did not reflect professionalism or respect. This experience felt discriminatory and disrespectful. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it reflects very poorly on your establishment. I will also make sure to share this experience publicly to help others avoid a similar situation.

Let me first start by saying we really enjoyed our time here. As a 30ish younger couple looking for the time to relax, it was great. But was it 5 stars? Absolutely not. I think what frustrates me was that it’s little things that could have made our stay much better. First the staff. They were trying their best but you could tell they were undertrained and understaffed. The pool. Beautiful and quaint. But for a 5 star hotel, there should always be clean towels at the pool. And a place to put dirty towels? They were just laying all over the loungers all the time. And there should always be some sort of water at the pool for you to drink. Having to place a drink order and wait an extended amount of time was slightly irritating. The drinks. Mediocre at best. For the price point I thought it was pricy for what you got. I’d expect a sangria to have more garnish that just a lime? But okay…. Our room. The morning and evening housekeeping was a really nice touch that we didn’t know we needed. Appreciate that. We did have issues with AC. But told the front desk and it was addressed. Otherwise, no major issues there. Beds were super comfy. The spa was really nice. Sauna wasn’t working so that was a bummer. The lady who did my treatment was SO kind. But I have to say the scrub followed by the massage felt kinda stingy because you got “1 hour” and that included the mid point shower and dressing. The food? Impeccable. So so so so good. Can’t say enough good things here. The cart driver who helped us with our luggage, you rock. The property, 10/10. LOVED the trails. Yoga was amazing. Really enjoyed the classes. Finca Serena, let us know if you care to fix there’s other things. Feel free to email me. We would love to someday come back, but for the current price, we just can’t justify it. Feels unfair to be charging 5 star prices for a 4 star resort.

We visited this marina. There are a few cafés around that look quite nice at first glance, but the reviews on Google are rather disappointing. Compared to marinas in other countries, this one is quite small overall. After traveling a longer distance to get here, it was a bit disappointing not to find a place where you can really enjoy good food or drinks. I believe if you own a boat and your yacht is docked here, it is acceptable to stop by for a quick meal or drink. However, coming all the way just to see this marina does not seem necessary. It was a pleasant experience, but not one we would repeat.

Puerto Portals is the kind of place that feels like a secret slice of paradise—just with a bit more glamour. The marina sparkles with luxury yachts, but it’s not just about the boats: it’s about the vibe. Everything seems touched by sunshine and good taste. Whether you’re strolling past boutiques, sipping wine with sea views, or savoring strawberries dipped in chocolate (a delight that deserves local legend status), it’s a setting that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy.

Best place for car spotting. If you do like cars, this is the best place for you from entire island to spot one of the most interesting, luxurious, powerful and mind blowing cars. The are also some amazing boats and a few shops

Beautiful place shame about the aggressive security. I spent a lovely evening here with my partner then as I was paying for my parking ticket I was ambushed by an aggressive female security guard which ruined the evening. No idea what the issue was it’s not like anyone can steal money from a parking ticket machine.

Avoid this marina if you don't have a birth there. They charge 150€ for drop off and another 150€ for pick up your guests even if they are going to the restaurant IN THE MARINA! We were 19,5m motor boat and didn't have our tender that day.

Nice marina with shops, bars and restaurants. Very good for a walk in the summer evening or to moors the boat. Recommended.

🌟 A lovely evening spot, but beware of one thing The area is a great place to enjoy a pleasant evening , stylish atmosphere, vibrant surroundings, and plenty to explore. However, I feel it’s important to point out the presence of a store claiming to sell luxury designer bags (especially Hermès), but the items are clearly fake and severely overpriced. On top of that, the owners are rude and arrogant, especially when asked for clarification about the authenticity or origin of their products , which is unacceptable when dealing with high-value items. If you’re a fashion lover or luxury enthusiast, be cautious and stick to trustworthy, verified sellers.

Nestled on Mallorca's southwest coast, The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort is a luxurious family retreat boasting 125 elegantly designed guestrooms and suites with private terraces offering stunning Mediterranean views. Guests can indulge in the Michelin-starred Es Fum Restaurant, unwind by the sophisticated cascading swimming pool, or enjoy a drink at the modern St. Regis Bar.
This St Regis has a very beautiful property, with amazing views from the pool. The rooms were very spacious and private. The service was absolutely amazing. Kids area was great that had its on splash pad. Breakfast was very delicious and definitely recommended. It was overall amazing and definitely will come back.

The location of the hotel is excellent, but unfortunately the service and most of the staff are disappointing, except for the reception team who were welcoming and attentive. The butler service was extremely poor and I would not recommend it at all. Breakfast was acceptable, but the service was very slow. One of the most concerning issues we noticed was clear discrimination against Arabs, from the breakfast area to the restaurants. Staff seemed to treat non-Arab guests much better, which was very unpleasant. The garden-view rooms were uncomfortable, with many flying insects due to the garden area. Considering the price, I do not recommend this hotel — there are definitely better options available.

This was by far the best hotel I’ve booked in quite some time. The grounds were beautiful, the food was exquisite, and the spa was clean with endless amenities. The staff was unbelievably attentive and helpful. We lost our sunglasses in a cab and they tracked down the driver for us! The hotel is conveniently located for day trips into Palma and Sóller, and located right near the most fabulous port with top notch restaurants! Would highly recommend.

Top notch service all around. Absolutely loving our time here. After a couple of days, you really start to get to know the staff, and everyone has been superb. The butler service is fantastic, the food is fantastic, and the wait staff is fantastic. I’m not sure what that previous review is even from, but no way it’s about this place. I can attest to that.

A million thx to Yaiza & Ramiro🙏🏻 Just wow. The St. Regis Bar is pure magic — where sophistication meets fun in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like royalty. The atmosphere is elegant but never stuffy, the cocktails are absolute masterpieces, and the service? Flawless. We had high expectations, and somehow they were exceeded. Every drink was a showstopper — creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. The staff clearly love what they do and made the whole experience personal and memorable. Already dreaming of our next visit. If you’re in town and want to treat yourself, this is the place. Cheers to unforgettable nights at the St. Regis Bar! 🍸🔥

The room was substandard for a platinum member; however, I was using points I did receive excellent service from: Christina at check in Marco our butler Rene at the Spa Pruden out on the pool deck Romona at breakfast And my favorite, Jan at dinner Food was excellent The quiet pool was amazing for relaxing after a week operating a bareboat sailing charter Regards Cap’n Dave

The balance between price and service is absolutely not aligned. both their service and overall vision fall for below what the St Regis name represents. they mention beach but there s no beach, just stones, you can not swim and even walk.. so why you offer we have beach. many negative things.

The location is incredible. The room was outstanding. Only knock was the exorbitant cost for a small soda and other food items. I get it is the St. Regis, but a 900% markup on something?

Grand Hotel Son Net is a luxurious hotel located in a 17th-century mansion that has been transformed into an upscale retreat. Situated in the Galatzo nature reserve with the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains, it offers 31 luxury rooms and suites with private terraces. The hotel features Mediterranean dining at Oleum, two fine-dining restaurants, a bar, and outdoor pools. Guests can also enjoy a boutique wellness area, gym, and large outdoor pool.
An Unforgettable Experience! This place appeared to be absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond, delivering exceptional service with genuine kindness and attention to detail. The farm-to-table cuisine was a true highlight—fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Every dish left us amazed and satisfied. This hotel has truly captured our hearts, and we can’t wait to return in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

Avoid giving this hotel your business at all costs. The way they handled reservations in May 2020 during the global pandemic is immoral and offensive. My dream trip in May 2020 had to be canceled when COVID-19 disrupted the entire world. Despite the Spanish law requiring they refund all guests they refused to issue me a refund and sent fraudulent screenshots of their online policy to my bank when I contested the charge. I did not book online, I booked via email and did not consent to non refundable terms. Even if I had knowledge of a non refundable policy, a global pandemic halting all international travel should override that policy. The way they have handled communication is disrespectful and I am so disappointed. They obviously do not care about the wellbeing of their customers, I would stay far away from this establishment. The other hotels I booked for this trip refunded me right away. 5 years later when I finally have the opportunity to travel back to Europe, when I contacted asking them to apply credit for a reservation they informed me the credit had expired. Which is just insult to injury.

A truly majestic and charming estate! Everything from the building to the interior details, and the gardens is perfectly curated and maintained. The service is second to none and sets the standard when it comes to ultra luxury hotels. The staff is incredibly welcoming and they make you truly feel at home. Everything is just perfectly done and the attention to detail is impressive. For example, they would always stock our car with water on our way out. I especially loved the decor. Lorenzo Castillo has done a wonderful job with this place and you can really feel the presence of quality, craftsmanship, and tradition. The local town is also very charming and quiet. It’s a great place to get some tranquility and peace from the rest of the island, which is often quite busy and packed. I’ve stayed at some of the best hotels of the world and this one certainly tops the list for me so far! I can’t wait to return back!

This is a wonderful hotel, with a marvelous sense of atmosphere and commitent to Mallorcan culture. The house details have been preserved beautifully and the sense of entering and living in your own home is captured everywhere, with museum-quality antiques and art. Even better, while it is ingenious and beautifully decorated, it is not the gilt silliness or gutted faux modernity of many places, where all that remains of history are the walls. The setting is both beautiful and peaceful, where the sense of nature abides -- with donkeys, miniature horses and sheep in the orchards, which is quite a joy. The Hotel staff deserve special mention for their kindness and effectiveness -- they could not be more committed to a wonderful experience and deliver on it. With the drought so deeply affecting Mallorca, it is hard to see the loss of indigenous species or the feral cats, but we watered and fed the cats, which the lovely staff do as well. And, a single hotel cannot solve a problem that the Mallorcan and Spanish government should be working on 24/7, by reducing tourism, amplifying de-salination (locally), retaining sustainable agriculture and preserving Mallorcan culture. Even is that means we cannot enjoy Mallorca, I would prefer the place is protected, rather than we get to enjoy its last few minutes.

We’ve returned to Son Net two years in a row to celebrate a birthday, and were met with the same level of excellence on both occasions. Friendly staff providing great service- from the cocktails, to the dinner at Mar & Duix (still raving about the ravioli), live music (kudos for the duo on 15/03, it was a hit for all 3 generations in our company!), and the tea after- the attention to detail (both in service & decor) hasn’t gone unnoticed. There will undoubtedly be a next Mallorca trip, Son Net being one of the reasons!

The hotel and surrounding area are absolutely gorgeous, with lovely breakfasts and a serene atmosphere that made relaxing by the pool a highlight of our stay. I also enjoyed my time at the spa, which was a wonderful treat. While the staff could have been a bit more friendly and engaging, overall, we loved the hotel and would return.

Absolutely charming hotel with incredible staff- you can really unwind and relax here. When we first checked in, I thought it was a bit quirky. You will get a single key the size of your head to open your room door. If one of you leaves, you either have to lock the other one in or get locked out. They also don’t have steamers or irons- I think it’s a fire hazard but their staff will gladly iron your clothes for you in about 20 minutes. Putting that aside, we really fell in love with this place. The gym and spa are BEAUTIFUL. The treadmills offer great running and training programs- I had one of my best runs of my trip in that gym. The breakfast is also next level with incredible baked goods, fresh juices, and nutritious food options. We ate dinner at the hotel one of the nights and the food, people watching and view were top notch. One of the waiters snuck me a little red wine to bring back to the room after dinner- Little things like that are what bring you from 4 to 5 star very quick. The rest of the staff were so pleasant and each left their mark on us. Wonderful mix of people. Oh and their rooms are made for sleeping. Bed was so comfortable, rooms got so dark. It was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!! You won’t be disappointed.

An Elevating Experience We had cocktails at the bar, and they were absolutely on point. The drinks were served with some nuts and olives. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is so beautifully decorated ~ the vibe is intimate, classy and special. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony and freestanding bathtub along with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast is delicious, the rooftop is divine and the spa with pool is amazing. The staff go above and beyond and recommended some excellent restaurants for us nearby. We didn’t want to leave but hope to be back again soon! Thank you!

Staying at Hotel Gloria was an incredible experience. The hotel itself is impeccable — the rooms are cozy, the spa area is relaxing, and the bar serves outstanding cocktails. Since it’s a smaller boutique hotel, the attention to detail truly stands out. It feels more like staying in a beautifully curated home than in a typical hotel. What made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff. Everyone was eager to ensure our stay was perfect, but Lluis in particular went above and beyond. As first-time visitors to Mallorca, he helped us plan our itinerary, pointing out the best local spots on a map, arranging our rental car, and securing restaurant reservations. Thanks to his thoughtful guidance (and the rest of the wonderful team), our trip was seamless and full of authentic experiences. We would recommend Hotel Gloria to anyone looking to experience the real Mallorca with top-tier service and charm. 10/10 — can’t wait to return!

We have spent 5 days at the Gloria de Sant Jaume hotel and everything was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is really charming, all the details are incredibly well treated, I rarely saw such a level of perfection (the spa is lovely). There is a feeling of exclusivity in the hotel thanks to its limited number of rooms. The duplex suite was perfect for us with 2 kids and all the attentions we got have been greatly appreciated. But the cherry on top of the cake is truly the service. Everyone in the hotel, from the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the cleaning people, everyone brings the notion of service to a level I have never seen before and always with a smile and in a peaceful way. Despite our 2 very active kids, we truly managed to get some rest and it's also thanks to this amazing level of service. Special mention to Joaquim and Daniella, it was a pleasure meeting you. We wish we could have stayed more, for sure we will come back!

My recent stay at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is located on quiet street in the centre of old town - it's spotless, with a lovely breakfast each morning, a stunning spa/pool area, and beautiful features like mosaic floors and high, wood-beamed ceilings. The bar and restaurant are super. However, it's the staff who made this one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. They can't do enough to help you - from the introductory tour, the daily recommendations on places to visit and eat, the little biscuirs left in the room each evening. They go out of their way to give each guest their undivided attention. You won't regret staying here, five star luxury.

A long weekend to recharge the batteries and this was an excellent choice. Perfectly located this beautiful hotel has been artfully remodelled. The roof terrace is a perfect, tranquil place to unwind - you would never know you were in the middle of the city. The food is excellent and the house special cocktails are well worth sampling. What truly sets it apart though is the staff; from front of house to the pool guy, they are welcoming, genuinely friendly and so helpful. Nothing is too much and they all go the extra mile to make your stay special. Their recommendations were spot on, finding places set apart from the tourista herd. I normally have a rule of never going back anywhere - GSJ is an exception.

Great location in the heart of the old town. The hotel itself is beautiful, in a large spacious old building, yet with only a small number of rooms so you feel the personal touch. The facilities are all excellent - rooftop pool, underground spa, bar and restaurant. The staff are what made our stay truly wonderful though - frequently going above and beyond whether it be unloading the car of all our stuff; the free welcome cocktail at the bar; helping us book restaurant recommendations and calling the restaurant to explain when we were late; booking taxis; sorting out the wifi connection so we could connect our baby monitor; the little teddy bear gift for our son; and just generally being so friendly and super attentive the whole time.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in around the world. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were offered welcome drinks as the reception manager arranged table bookings for us in the hotel restaurant, in Palma, and in Port de Soller. The dinner, breakfasts, and snacks were delicious and freshly prepared. The food was a high standard. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, we were given tea, and there was a lovely Nespresso coffee machine. On our second day, we came back to the room to find a complementary bottle of wine on ice waiting. All of the staff, from the cleaners, the bar , restaurant, and front desk staff were exceptional. This is a small and select hotel which feels like a family. Well done team hotel Gloria Sant Jaume. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We shall return. Melanie Stafford

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Palma. We booked it for the fantastic location, beautiful property, and generously spacious rooms—and it truly lived up to our expectations. The staff made our experience even more memorable. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They also gave us great local recommendations for dining and things to do. A special thank you to Giulia, who was especially kind and helpful during our departure—she even helped us book a taxi, which we really appreciated. One helpful note for future guests: if you're arriving by car or renting a car, be aware that parking is not directly onsite (which is common in central Palma). The closest parking lot is about a 10-minute walk away. We were able to drop off our luggage first and the staff kindly assisted with directions and bags, but understanding this in advance would have helped us plan better. Overall, it was a lovely stay in a charming city, and we’d happily return!

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Truly a fantastic stay!

Very few complaints…really nice, quiet spot out of the mayhem of the city. The staff were friendly, the food (including the breakfast) was good and the drinks well made. The finishes were high end and we were very happy with both the shared spaces and our room (the main suite, room 3). Of the complaints…they spray a weird small in the rooms, maybe supposed to smell like an old building / furniture / castle, but it just made us feel a bit ill. And, the carpet is wicker, which sounds fun but actually isn’t very comfortable to walk on barefoot, so make sure you grab the free slippers.

We have recently had the chance to stay in this mesmerizing renovated old mansion, let me say it was pleasantly amazing. The staff the room the lobby was an amazing treat. The only thing you have to consider is the parking as it is a 10 min walking distance and it was a bit expensive. Other than that i would say it was perfect with a great location within the heart of Palma city.

It is a quiet and refined retreat just a step away from the hustle and bustle of Palma. We loved everything from the refined furniture and art of our room (which was btw absolutely spotless), to the concierge service and the cocktail bar. Truly amazing.

Staying at Can Cera Hotel was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the warm atmosphere and stunning decor—every detail of the property feels thoughtful, elegant, and true to the charm of Mallorca. Benjamin walked us through the map of Palma and Mallorca, recommended restaurants and day trips, and even made us our dinner reservations for us while we relaxed and enjoyed our welcome drink. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and instantly felt like a private sanctuary. What really stood out, though, was the staff’s remarkable attention to detail. Even if we stepped out for just 20 minutes, we’d return to find the room perfectly refreshed. Their attentiveness was unmatched—always present when you needed something, but never intrusive. One day we weren’t feeling our best and couldn’t explore the town, but we didn’t mind at all—the hotel was so comfortable and the staff so kind that it felt like the perfect place to simply rest and recharge. Booking a massage is a MUST - one of the best we’ve ever had. We also took advantage of the spa that had a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and reserved it twice during our stay. One thing to note is that there isn’t parking onsite and it’s about a 7min walk from the hotel and the roads to get to the hotel are very narrow and not for a nervous driver. Not a deal breaker for us but something to note! The entire experience was seamless and elevated, making us feel cared for in the most genuine way. Can Cera is the kind of place you don’t just stay at—you remember. Without a doubt, a five-star experience. We will be back!!

You NEED to stay here!!! What a gorgeous hotel and staff that goes above and beyond. We came for our honeymoon and we loved our stay. The breakfast is great, the public areas are incredible, the pool was gorgeous, food was great, the location was fantastic. You could just walk out the front door are so close to the town square and short drive to the best Calas. Try to time your stay with either a Saturday or Wednesday morning for the market. The valet parking was also great and they provide waters & towels when you go to the calas. They do the double room cleaning service which is always such a nice touch. I really cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We don’t normally like to stay places twice but we will certainly be back. Thank you Can Ferrereta for making our honeymoon that much more special.

One of my favorite hotel stays ever. Every inch of this property is so beautifully designed. Service was great throughout our stay, with staff being attentive but not overbearing. Vibe is more casual luxury, not overly stuffy. Street parking was easy in the shoulder season (Oct) but I’d recommend paying for valet during high season. Parking without valet will be difficult on market days (Wed/Sat). Santanyí is a more quiet, lowkey town vs other tourist-popular towns, which added to the charm.

This hotel is without question the ELITE of the ELITE. It’s easily EASILY a Top 3 hotel globally. My wife and I had the pleasure and good fortune of staying at the Can Ferrereta Santyani for our honeymoon and can’t say enough about the service from the moment you park the car at the front door. The rooms, lobby, indoor/outdoor pool, etc are beyond beautiful but as is the case in the hospitality industry the service is where the winners are born. Salvador at La Fresca pool is the most genuine human being. He was very polite, caring, and passionate about his work which showed tremendously in how he treats his customers as his own family. Victor and Luis in the Ocre restaurant were incredibly easy to talk to, made incredible cocktails (provided wonderful suggestions), and worked incredibly hard to make us feel as if we were at home. This is all a great reflection of the Manager Pablo who runs a wonderful ship and displays great Poise at the Ocre restaurant. What a lucky staff this ownership group has and they should feel very proud of the way they make each guest feel uniquely special. We look forward to telling all of our friends about this Oasis and slice of heaven and cannot wait to return. Hailey and Jack Howard

Can Ferrereta is a special find. This hotel sits in the center of Santanyí. The medieval hilltop town provides a great setting. The hotel captures the true Mallorquin lifestyle. It blends history and local art well. The building itself shows great style. An amazing Mallorcan patio features old olive trees. The furniture is very elegant. We stayed in Room 21. This spacious suite had high ceilings. The bathroom was excellent. It included a superb bathtub. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable. Large windows brought in beautiful natural light. We loved the patio atmosphere. The farmhouse lighting was very elegant. The location is perfect. You stand only meters from the village center. Santanyí offers beautiful cafes, restaurants, and art galleries. The lively street market runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are so thankful for this amazing stay. The experience exceeded all expectations. We recommend this hotel highly.

We stayed in a Junior Suite at Can Ferrereta during our honeymoon and it was complete bliss! The pool area is absolutely stunning- so much so we opted to spend our days at the pool rather than explore the nearby beaches. Palma Riad is a luxurious adult-only retreat in the heart of Palma, offering a slice of Morocco with its opulent style and traditional design. The hotel features stone archways, wood-panelled ceilings, candlelight, and vibrant textiles creating an exotic atmosphere. The 18th-century townhouse has been restored into 11 suites, each uniquely designed by Barcelona-based designer Pablo Peyra.
I've been sat trying to think of what to say in this review but I'm struggling because I can't pinpoint one part of my experience staying at the Palma Road hotel that wasn't incredible. Even before I arrived I was contacted to ask if I had any questions, and if I required anything. On arrival I was warmly greeted and personally shown around the hotel. The room I had booked was one of the best I have ever stayed in - the 'deluxe' room comes with a TV in the mirror, an enormous bed, snacks and drinks in the minibar and it was incredibly quiet. The hamman style bathroom was enormous, and well worth the wait to fill the giant tub. The products smelled amazing and there were even more on offer on request. The cocktail bar in the evening had some great choices and the staff were on hand to make some fantastic recommendations for dinner for my friend and I. Breakfast was lovely and more than enough. The whole place smelled divine, to the point of I actually purchased some of the fragrance the hotel uses. Genuinely, genuinely sad to have left and only spent a day here. I hope the staff know they have probably ruined all hotel stays for me from now on. From the hand written note on arrival to the manager's contact details, to the named service - I felt incredibly valued at as a guest. I will absolutely be back soon.

Absolutely amazing interiors. I have never experienced such beautiful hotel. Great cocktail bar, and food also. Although, you could think about towels in a bathroom on the ground floor, not the paper ones just like other 5 star hotels do, and the hand lotion next to the soap, but this are details.

A wonderful and exquisite hotel in a great location in Palma. From the minute you walk in the door until you leave, the service is incredible and personal. 5 star service. It is such a treat and full experience stay. They truly value your stay and the experience that you have as a customer. The rooms are so cool and unique. There are more amenities in the room than we knew what to do with. The beds are so comfortable. The bar is great and offers cool cocktails as well. Breakfast is superb and delicious, offered in the atrium for a fun and unique atmosphere.

I had an incredible stay at Palma Riad Hotel. The service was truly exceptional—every detail was attended to with care and warmth. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast in the stunning courtyard, which offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was nothing short of spectacular, providing a perfect retreat with its elegant decor and a huge bathtub that was a luxurious highlight. The hotel provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If you're looking for a beautiful and tranquil getaway in Palma, Palma Riad Hotel is the perfect choice!

We loved this hotel, it was both a customised and unique experience with lots of memorable details. We were rebooked here from Hotel Nakar Palma last minute due to a system error and we felt so lucky to be here. The hotel pays a tribute to the Marrakesh architectural design and includes the Arab culture in the room facilities as well. Service was extraordinarily good and accommodating. Breakfast was top notch, both the mini buffet as well as ordering a la carte were excellent. Thank you very much again to the very hostile staff, it was a great pleasure to staying here!!

My stay at Palma Riad Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary! I spent three days here, and from the moment I arrived, I experienced the best service ever. The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure maximum comfort and style. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the luxurious common areas, every corner of the hotel is a testament to impeccable taste and care. What truly sets Palma Riad apart is the outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to your every need, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay. It's clear that they take great pride in their work, and it truly makes all the difference. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay in Palma, look no further than Palma Riad. I can't wait to return!

We habe spent one night at Palma Riad and got an upgrade to the Penthouse Suite, which was amazing. The location of the hotel is very central, but still in a quiet little street. From the welcome to the check-out, the staff was highly professional, friendly and welcoming. The bed was amazing - truly comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. We loved the design and the clear concept it had through all aspects of the hotel. We would book the hotel again for sure.

Elegant hotel on a nice quiet street, moments from shopping and bustling old town streets. The courtyard is a beautiful space in which to enjoy a delightful and extensive breakfast. Our room was perfect- spacious, beautiful decor, large bathroom with a fantastic soaking tub (we loved it!). We stayed in a room with a day bed which was a perfect place for a siesta in the afternoon. The air conditioning was epically good- such a rarity in the Mediterranean in general. Staff was wonderful. Would come back again anytime we visit Mallorca.

Can Simoneta Hotel is a luxurious boutique hotel located in the north-east of Majorca, offering modern rooms and suites in three ancient country houses. This adults-only retreat provides a perfect setting for couples or solo travelers seeking a romantic getaway. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a spa nestled in the gardens, steam and sauna wood cabins, and stunning sea views from the Beach House.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many beautiful venues – and Can Simoneta is truly one of a kind. The views over the Mediterranean are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is exceptionally professional and attentive, which makes a huge difference not only for the couple and their guests but also for vendors like myself. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of, and the atmosphere is calm, elegant, and intimate. I am looking forward to returning to this stunning location.

To me, this hotel is perfect. The service, food, and rooms were incredible. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, as well as the fact that the hotel provided free bottled water throughout the property. Stayed for 4 nights and never tired of the property and onsite restaurant. Also appreciated that there is access to the sister property's restaurants, and that they will shuttle you over there in a golf cart. Location is a little remote so definitely plan on staying on property if you don't have a car.

Hotel Can Simoneta is a perfect hotel for a beautiful, relaxing, luxury vacation in Mallorca. The location is absolutely stunning, quiet, and relaxing. The grounds are immaculate and well kept. The daily breakfast is delicious, quiet, and a lovely start to each day. The staff are incredibly helpful and truly provide a 5 star experience top to bottom. Anything I asked for was made possible by their staff. For example, we went to golf early and they sent us with a takeaway breakfast. The location is separated from busy areas of Mallorca which is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The food offerings are unique and delicious between La Terraza and Gastronomic. The rooms are beautiful, modern, clean, and have great air conditioning. The boat tour is an absolute must as well!! It was private and took us through some absolutely gorgeous coastline. And the captain was a pleasure, he was a joy to ride along with! The pools here are both beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The spa was a pleasure as well. Our 6 night stay here was a true 10/10 experience. Thank you for such a lovely vacation!

This is one of the best Michelin restaurants I have been to, and I've been to a lot.. 1, 2 and 3 stars. (Not bragging, just writing an honest review). The Chef, David Moreno, #davidmorenochef, born in Mexico is exceptional.. He takes you back to Mexico, with Michelin style plates, I can't say exactly what was my fav. Oysters to start with a paired Champagne from their excellent sommelier, a play on chilaquiles, the corn panacota was a 10/10. the lamb, I absolutely loved with a pigs foot jus, exceptional. Salmonete pastor, WOW!! Red gambas de soller "camerones". Exquisite! Our host, 10/10.. true true.. Our Mexican waiter from Puebla, one of the nicest guys you could meet and very knowlegable and profesional. From entering the grounds, driving throught the tree lined drive way, then walking into the reception of the hotel, the ladies at the desk were very nice. EVRYTHING WAS ABSOLUTLY AMZING AND PERFECT.. I can wait till spring/summer when it opens again. I don't want to compare, we'll, I do and I will, Jordi Cruz, 3 stars, watch out, this place smashed your restraunt, I don't mean offensive, I'm just saying, this will only have a Michelin star for a small amount of time, it WILL HAVE 2* very soon!! Congratulations @davidmorenochef And your team. AMAZING AND PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.

I am just increasing the overall score a bit for one reason only is the staff of the hotel primarily, concierge team, Bell men very respectful and helpful, Resturant at breakfast very nice and friendly teams at least that were serving us during our stay, housekeeping team and the lady who answers every morning at the operator. This team made it special. But the awkward part of this customer experience journey which is the reception and their management Which are the front liners of any hotel which needs to ensure a smooth journey were not friendly, very abrupt and their management got have solved the issue in a very nice way yet they mad it a very negative experience yet since I am coming for a vacation so didn’t let their negative energy impact my stay. Yet I know that I am not going to stay at this property again or recommend it to others.

I have stayed at this hotel on Mallorca several times, attracted by its location near Palma and its golf facilities. However, this stay was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was rude and completely inattentive. No information about the hotel or my loyalty benefits was provided. Instead, I was given a room without a view, even though better rooms were clearly available on the hotel’s own website. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for returning guests. Breakfast was another unpleasant experience – chaotic, disorganized, and painfully slow. It felt more like a cheap cafeteria than a five-star property. Overall, what could have been another enjoyable stay was ruined by poor service and unprofessional staff. For a hotel that positions itself as a premium destination, such treatment is simply inexcusable.

Beautiful hotel situated in the hills above Palma and with great views over the city. Conveniently situated for three world class golf courses but you don't need to play golf to enjoy staying here. The hotel has a lovely pool and the restaurants are excellent.

This is a good option if you want to stay away of the crowded city Center. Pool is amazing, but pool service lacks quality. They close the pool at 7pm during summer which is a bummer if you want to enjoy the hotel after a day at the beach. The main reason we decided to stay there was because of the pool, but we were always late for the pool schedule. Restaurants are ok and breakfast is good. It’s a historical hotel with beautiful decor and luxurious vibes. Great price point if you want some luxury in Mallorca but do not have the budget to stay closer to the beach. A part from the pool staff, overall service is very attentive and kind. They went above and beyond to help us figure out how to charge the rental car. Recommend drinks by bar before or after dinner.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We booked one room for 3 people. Normally, the hotel does not allow three guests in one room, but since we asked in advance and the hotel agreed, we made the reservation. On the first night, however, we were given a small room that was not suitable for three people, which was very disappointing. Fortunately, the next day we met Mr. Ferran, a staff member who handled the situation very professionally. He kindly arranged for us to move to a larger room. Although there was an extra charge, we were happy to pay because his service was excellent. He was patient, professional, and understood the customers’ needs, which made our stay enjoyable again. We truly appreciated his effort. 🏨 Hotel Atmosphere – Quiet location, not far from the airport – Beautiful mountain and sea view – Clean rooms – Friendly reception staff 🍴 Breakfast & Service Breakfast was quite limited compared to other 4–5 star hotels. Some staff members in the restaurant and by the pool seemed inattentive. For example, we ordered drinks three times and never received them. Even though there were many staff around, the service was slow, and some even showed unfriendly facial expressions toward guests. This could be one reason why the food & beverage sales might be lower than expected. 💆 Spa The spa was excellent. The staff were very welcoming, the treatment rooms were clean, and the therapists were knowledgeable about health and wellness. This part of the hotel truly lived up to the 5-star standard. 📌 Overall: The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and some outstanding staff members like Mr. Ferran who deserve praise. However, certain aspects of service should be improved to fully match the expectations of a five-star hotel.

Traditionally beautiful hotel, excellent staff who make you feel good and special, and are always helpful. Great breakfast with breathtaking views! You can see the mountains, city and the sea at the same time.

The hotel is lovely but I was disappointed in the spa customer service. After getting a facial they pushed a few products for me to buy. I did but when I got back to the room I found that the amount of products actually in the bottle were minimal. I didn't use any of it and asked about a return and they declined and were not very nice. I felt very mislead and disappointed. The other members of the staff have been very nice.

Perfect location to discover the city. Just hop on a taxi for the day at the beach. The room was nice and the team was super friendly and reliable. Just maybe a negative point at the rooftop bar where we had to wait quite a bit before being served. The rooftop pool is small but really enjoyable to start or end the day! The privatized spa was stunning!

Average Service in an average hotel. It’s pretty good to stay in the center of the city but we had a terrible smell in our room which completely ruined our experience. Furthermore some of the staff were very friendly and also some were quite impolite. I would not recommend it and will not stay again. BTW: the roof top is nice but to get a sun chair is almost impossible.

My overall stay was quite pleasant. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The rooms were perfectlly cleaned everyday. The reception staff were great. Special shout out to Javier who was the 1st person me and my partner dealt with. We had some difficulties with a waiter at the restaurant; however, I appreciate how stressful it can be when you have a large group wanting to sit together. I believe the incident could have been handled better from day one instead of being resolved a few days after when we were leaving the hotel. We do appreciate how it was handled, albeit delayed.

Overall a nice hotel in the city with good service, calm and clean rooms and the breakfast is totally fine with a variation of intentional and local foods. There is a pool at the roof top. Also the city center is few minutes (approx 10min) away.
Hafid H — Google review
1.Location is the top seller for this hotel. 2.Pool on the top floor would have been a good idea if the steps were not incredibly slippery and the pools sides werent straight glass like walls. There are 3 beach chairs so good luck. There is a bar so you could stay at the bar, so you had to buy a drink to be able to have a place to stay while at the pool. 3.Breakfast was ok, reffiling was decently fast but the variation was very small. 3 types of fruits, literally 3 bottles of natural juice, small glasses of course so you had to get up 100 times for a pint equivalent of water.. 4.Service varied, front desk was great, hotel personel ok, polite, smilling but had a habbit to turn the AC on max and the lowest temperature. Let me explain why it is not ok. Everytime you go out even for a short walk you swear or heat up, then at the hotel it was freezing, i had to go always ahead change the temp, go down and wait with my wife and kids to not have everyone catch a cold. 5. Room was so awkward that the extra bed was almost blocking the door entrance. I have a height of 187 cm and in the normal, not extra bed of the room my feet were hanging out from the ankles, i had to sleep on a transversal to even fit. Next to our window was a storage outside area for the bars drinks etc. Every night i was kept awakeat least till 1 AM by bottles being thrown into the cases or hitting eachother, besides the fact that we had to always keep the curtains closed so we had some privacy. Horrible room design, you can see the desire to fit as many rooms as possible. Overall, i do NOT recommend this hotel unless you want just a place to crash after staying out all day, eating out, and literally you dont care where you sleep or how.

The contemporary rooms are individually designed and provide a lavish retreat. The hotel features open-air dining, a deluxe spa, and two outdoor pools. Families can indulge in luxury with the Barbarojas Kids Club offering various activities for children.
Jumeirah Mallorca completely exceeded my expectations. It is hands down the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Every detail was incredibly well thought out, from the welcome drinks and handwritten notes to the thoughtful gifts left in the room and the sweet departing treats. The staff was genuinely warm and friendly, making the entire experience feel personalized and luxurious. The valet service made coming and going seamless, and every amenity was top notch. The rooftop infinity pool was absolutely stunning, the perfect place to relax and take in the views, and the gym was one of the best hotel fitness centers I’ve seen. I truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a memorable five star experience in Mallorca, this is the place.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property with some of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. Our premium Mountain View room well exceeded my expectations as the rooms honestly look slightly underwhelming in photos, but are beautiful in person. The beds are incredibly comfortable as are the pillows. The pool service is really great and efficient with the ability to order via QR code. The gym is top notch. The food is generally good. The breakfast buffet is very impressive and delicious but I did find the prepared breakfast items to order to be underwhelming: bland and quite basic (a well cooked egg dish shouldn’t be hard). This is not the hotel’s fault but the large presence of wasps negatively impacted my experience, particularly at breakfast and occasionally at the pool. Still, overall was an amazing experience and we would happily return.

Jumeirah became a quiet and relaxing respite after a two-week group tour in Northern Spain. We had hoped to tour the island, but an unfortunate “flu” bug hit us three days apart, so we had a forced “resort” vacation. We couldn’t have been at a nicer spot. The ocean and mountain views are gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunny days on the pool deck away from other quests. There is an outdoor and indoor restaurant that served an extraordinary buffet breakfast that also offered made to order breakfast items. The staff was extremely helpful and the shuttle driver into town was especially kind in running us to the local pharmacy on two occasions. We did feel well enough one afternoon to check out Port de Soller. Be advised that parking in the town is quite challenging so you are well off taking the hotel’s complementary shuttle! Overall, this is a luxury resort that is spotlessly cared for with staff who are welcoming and hospitable. The location is set up into a mountain on a winding road looking down on the sea, so if you are looking for a beach location, this may not suit you. One other note: if you have mobility concerns, advise the hotel staff and inquire about accessibility to all facilities. We don’t need special assistance so did’t take note. Again, the hotel is situated and built on a mountain!

There’s no denying that the Jumeirah Mallorca is a visually stunning property. The setting, perched along the cliffs with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, is breathtaking. The landscaping is immaculate, the pools are serene, and the design of the main building blends luxury with a tasteful Mediterranean charm. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, it checks all the boxes for a five-star getaway. However, beneath the surface of this beauty lies a fundamental issue with transparency that significantly impacted our experience. The accommodations listed on the website are misleading, particularly the so-called “Deluxe Mediterranean Sea View” rooms. The photos used to represent this room type are clearly taken from the main building, which is central to the resort experience. Unfortunately, our room was located in a lower annex, a completely separate building that feels disconnected both physically and atmospherically from the main hotel. This difference in location and quality should be clearly broken out as a distinct room type on their site. At $1,500 per night, being led to believe we’d be staying in one setting and finding ourselves in another felt like a bait and switch. Had we known in advance that our room would be in the "annex" - and that it would differ so significantly from the main building’s offering - we would likely have chosen a different property or at least a different room type. Compounding our disappointment was an issue with room 222, where the shower drain was broken. On multiple occasions, this caused flooding from the bathroom into the bedroom. While we raised the issue with staff, the response was underwhelming - simply, “Thanks for letting us know, we’ll inform the team.” There was no apology, no follow-up, and no indication that the issue would be addressed during our stay, despite us having several nights remaining. At this level of hospitality, we expected more proactive and thoughtful service. That leads me to the broader service experience. While the resort aspires to five-star standards, the delivery was inconsistent. One particularly noticeable shortfall was the poolside service - or lack thereof. Although buttons were provided to call staff to our loungers, we tried multiple times with no response. In the end, we often had to get up and go find someone ourselves. It’s a small detail, but at a luxury resort, those details matter. They’re part of what distinguishes five-star service from simply a beautiful location. With more transparent marketing and a stronger commitment to guest experience, it could truly live up to its five-star potential - but in our case, it fell short.

We had a junior suite where the view was stunning and very nice sunlight in the room. The deluxe seaview rooms we saw as well but they have less windows, are pretty far from the main hotel building and need renovation. The staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel unique. Very comfortable beds. One star less as some parts of the hotel need renovation, but overall a very nice hotel.

Perfect stay at Jumeirah Mallorca. The care and friendliness of all staff was outstanding, especially Bea in the sunset lounge and Loli at breakfast, but everyone was outstanding. The hotel and all facilities were immaculately clean and the views are stunning whichever way you look. We had a Mountain View room and the view was spectacular. The breakfast was amazing with a huge range of self serve options as well as being able to order specific dishes. The sunset lounge had a wonderful vibe and tasty food and Cap Roig was also excellent with local delicacies and great service. We stayed for 4 nights and whilst expensive it was a luxury experience,

Our stay at this five-star hotel in Sóller was a mix of breathtaking beauty and frustrating disappointments—especially given the extreme prices (higher than any other five-star we stayed at during our honeymoon across Europe). We were greeted warmly with champagne on arrival and also received wine and champagne in our room as a thoughtful honeymoon gift, which was a lovely touch. However, the challenges quickly added up: we were told about their restaurant with “the best sunset views on the island,” only to learn that as hotel guests we couldn’t get a table or even a drink before 10pm. Our AC was broken, the concierge recommended two lunch spots that were closed, cocktails by the pool averaged €30 each, waters in the room weren’t complimentary, and a private driver we had canceled through the concierge was never actually canceled, forcing us to leave our cooking class early to avoid charges. Many of the QR code menus didn’t work, and the Chromecast in our room never functioned despite two nights of technicians trying to fix it. At times, we really questioned the value and organization of the experience. Everything changed when we met Lucille, one of the hotel managers. She immediately took action: upgrading us to a spectacular room with AC and a view over the mountains and port, personally checking in at the pool to make sure we were taken care of, and ensuring the rest of our stay felt elevated. Her kindness and professionalism single-handedly improved our experience overnight, and we are so appreciative of her and her team. The hotel does have incredible offerings: the free hourly shuttle to and from the port (a game changer for the experience), staff at the infinity pool and breakfast who were some of the friendliest we’ve ever met, and views that felt like living in a painting. The complimentary breakfast each morning was unreal—truly all-inclusive, with an extensive spread that had everything you could ask for. We also found the spa to be a hidden gem, with its pool, steam room, sauna, and ice room offering a private, relaxing escape. Lastly, the hotel did help us call taxis, which were reliable and fairly priced—we recommend this option over arranging private drivers through the hotel, which were nearly double the cost for the same service. Overall, while the views, people, and certain special touches made the stay memorable, the price point and disorganization made it fall short of expectations. If you go, know that you’re paying for the location and scenery more than seamless five-star service. And double-check your bill—we caught an €800 boat charge for a trip that had been canceled due to sea conditions.

The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, set to open in 2023, is a luxurious property located on the Formentor Peninsula. With 110 rooms and suites, it offers direct beach access and is situated on a vast plot with a functioning vineyard nearby. Accessible via ferry or short flight from Barcelona, this tranquil resort provides impeccable service and a relaxing atmosphere away from the bustling city.
A wonderful hotel for those looking for peace, privacy and nature. It’s located slightly away from the busy areas, which makes it perfect for a relaxing stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is attentive, and the restaurants are excellent. There is no private beach, but within a short walk you’ll find a lovely beach with a great restaurant that also belongs to the hotel. The whole place feels safe thanks to the excellent security. In short: beautiful location, top service, and the perfect choice for a calm and high-quality holiday.

I just stayed one night but would definitely like to return. The location and service are absolutely exceptional — precisely what one would expect from the Four Seasons brand. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, though given the nightly rate, I had slightly higher expectations in terms of overall refinement and attention to detail. The dining experience at Shima, their Asian-fusion restaurant, was a true highlight. The tasting menu is outstanding — beautifully balanced and full of depth — and I highly recommend it. It’s just a pity that no wine pairing is offered to accompany the menu, which would have elevated the experience even further. The young and charming maître d’ deserves special mention for her professionalism and warmth. However, a small service oversight did take away from an otherwise flawless evening — I requested a beer twice, which never arrived, yet still appeared on the bill. A minor detail, but one that slightly dampened what was otherwise an extraordinary stay.

My wife and I recently stayed at this property and we loved it. The location is incredible, the hotel is beautiful, and the service was attentive throughout our stay. We loved the fact that there were different areas to relax throughout the property. We liked the fact that there were three different pool areas, as well as having access to the beach. We went on an e-bike tour offered by the property to the lighthouse which was amazing! This property is beautiful and offered a great scene for relaxation. We look forward to returning!

Our stay at the Four Seasons Mallorca was absolutely incredible. It was our very first holiday with our baby girl, and as any new parents can imagine, we were a little nervous about how it would all go. But from the moment we arrived, every single person went above and beyond to make our stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible. The bellmen immediately helped us with our luggage — such a relief when you’ve got a pushchair and a baby in your arms. At check-in, we were greeted by Federica, who was so kind and welcoming. She made the whole process quick and easy, showed us to our beautiful room, and even checked in later during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We dined at Mel Restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and it was a highlight of our trip. Santi and Luca were fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always ready with a great recommendation. The breakfast setup is excellent, with a balance of à la carte options and a generous buffet that caters to every palate. Dinner was just as memorable, with great food and outstanding service. I personally loved the pool area — so relaxing, comfortable, and surrounded by lush greenery. It made our walks with the baby even more special, giving us that perfect balance of nature and tranquility. Our checkout was just as smooth and quick as check-in. I wish I could remember everyone’s names because so many people played a part in making this trip unforgettable for us. It was a holiday filled with warmth, care, and comfort — exactly what we needed as new parents.

Very nice vacation location. Fun drive across the island and over a mountain. Make sure to take an ebike trip to the lighthouse and bring goggles for swimming in the bay and seeing beautiful clear water with plentiful fish. Service is great and so nice. My only feedback would be to better limit the time groundskeeper spends with unpleasant equipment noise around the pool during the day.

We loved our 4 night stay at the Four Seasons Mallorca. The property is gorgeous and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The grounds were just spectacular. Everything about our experience felt special. The food and drinks were excellent, with dinner at Mel being a highlight and breakfast equally memorable. Lunch by the pool was wonderful, and the spa was also very nice. We also ate at the restaurant by the beach which had a fun vibe and delicious food. We especially enjoyed the adult pool, which was peaceful and relaxing, with stunning views of both the mountains and the water. Loved the treats they brought around to us. Special thanks to Thomas who took great care of us at the pool. We loved the e-bike tour to the lighthouse, which was a great activity. Taking the hotel boat into Pollenca for dinner was another favorite experience. We loved the restaurants in Pollenca, especially the ones directly on the water. The most amazing sunsets! If you decide to go into Pollenca for dinner I would recommend first making sure they are on the water for the best experience. There is no private beach at this hotel, so if you are looking for a quiet beach experience you will not find it here. The beach area is nice with plenty of sun beds but we chose to stay by the quiet adult pool instead. Communication with the concierge through the FS app was seamless. They were always quick to respond and took care of anything we needed. The only drawback was that bees were a nuisance at the restaurants, but aside from that, everything was perfect. Of the three hotels we stayed at in Mallorca, this was our favorite. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

FORMENTOR: THE SOUL OF A VANISHING PARADISE By Dr Isabel Jimenez Acquarone Formentor. A name that once evoked purity, beauty, and legacy — as powerful as the place itself. For me, Formentor has never been just a destination on a map. It is the landscape of my childhood, where I learned to swim in crystal waters, where the scent of pine trees mingled with the salt of the sea, and where my great-grandmother, María Elena, would tell me stories about my great-grandfather, Adán Diehl, the visionary who dreamt this paradise into existence. Diehl’s vision was simple and noble: to create a sanctuary where art, nature, and the human spirit could exist in harmony. Formentor was not built for profit; it was conceived to elevate the soul. Every stone, every path, every carefully planted tree was part of a philosophy rooted in respect — for the land, for history, for beauty itself. But the Formentor that shaped generations is slowly disappearing. What was once a place of serenity and inspiration is being devoured by the relentless advance of globalization, mass tourism, and unchecked greed. The world’s hunger for profit has turned this sanctuary into a product — a brand, stripped of its essence. Silence has been replaced by noise; authenticity by artifice. The transformation is not accidental. It is the result of choices — decisions made by those who see land only as a commodity, heritage as an inconvenience, and culture as a marketing tool. The language of preservation has been replaced by the vocabulary of revenue. And in this race for financial growth, the soul of Formentor is being lost. The tragedy of Formentor is not just local. It is emblematic of what is happening to so many sacred places around the world — places that once embodied balance and identity, now sacrificed to the altar of convenience and consumption. Formentor was never meant to be a business. It was — and still could be — a legacy. A meeting point between nature and creation, where artists, poets, and dreamers found inspiration. A space where hospitality had depth, and beauty was something you felt, not something you sold. Those of us who grew up here, who carry its spirit in our bones, cannot stay silent while its essence is erased. Because this is not merely about nostalgia; it is about responsibility. To protect Formentor is not to resist progress — it is to defend the right kind of progress: one that honors history, values authenticity, and respects the fragile balance between humanity and the natural world. Formentor doesn’t need more investors. It needs guardians. It doesn’t need another reinvention. It needs reverence. If we lose this place, we lose more than a landscape — we lose a part of ourselves. Because some places, once destroyed, cannot be rebuilt. They exist only once, and when they vanish, they take a piece of our collective soul with them. Formentor is one of those places. And I, for one, refuse to belong to the generation that watched it die in silence.
Dr A — Google review
This hotel is ruining the beach in Formentor which is a PUBLIC not a private beach. It USED to be a stunning natural beach for everyone to enjoy. Even the hotels main selling point is natural beauty and yet they are destroying it. Now the restaurant is like a club blaring dreadful music, it’s full of junky plastic pedalos and insane prices. Thr staff are even using leaf blowers to “clean” the public (not hotel owned) paths from natural pine needles, outside the hotel fence, with lots of noise and blowing them onto the public below. You can’t walk very far on the actual sand as it’s taken up with empty overpriced beach furniture. You can’t barely see the sand. If you stayed here, why wouldn’t you want to relax by one of its beautiful pools and just come to the sea for a dip on a beautiful natural beach. Yet again, commercial interests are ruining this island.

The Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel is a luxurious Mediterranean-style hotel offering refined rooms and suites, some with private balconies. The hotel features a spa with a Turkish bath, treatment room, and Jacuzzi for ultimate relaxation. Guests can enjoy European dining at the on-site restaurant and take advantage of the fitness center, two outdoor pools, and kids club. The hotel's strategic location provides easy access to attractions such as Castell de Bellver Castle and Catedral de Mallorca.
Great experience overall. We had two rooms, one was upgraded and they also accommodated our late checkout request which was great. It is a good location for visiting Palma and exploring Valldemossa and Soller area. Only feedback for improvement would be the breakfast selection (which was better in our previous hotel in Mallorca) and also the service at breakfast area was somehow poorer than the rest of the hotel. Beautiful hotel overall, we especially liked the gardens and the outdoor pool.

Our stay at the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella was perfect from start to finish. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and had not one but two balconies! We had a lovely view of the pool and the perfectly manicured grounds, which made it feel like a true escape. The hotel itself is upscale and elegant, with every detail thoughtfully cared for. The location was convenient, and parking was plentiful and easy, a big plus. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for comfort, style, and great service in Mallorca. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A wonderful Marriott property. We had a lovely stay thanks to Tamar that welcomed us with a smile after a late flight. The check in experience was 5 stars, she is an absolute asset to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, great view and atmosphere and rooms are spacious and modern. The entire property is amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Room were a bit dated, but comfortable and had everything you could need. The pool and grounds were clean and very relaxing. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. What lowers the score was the spa. I had a pedicure which was over twice the cost of a pedicure at a good salon. She said she didn't have time for a gell pedicure so I went with the regular one. The end result looked like something I would do myself (bad) and she filed the nails so low and rough that 2 nails tore that week. The same spa receptionist who did my nails also massaged my partner. He said it was very average, and that she would not give up on getting knots released, which means he was sore for two days after. Not great for your holiday relaxation and comfort. So, in conclusion, lovely hotel, just don't use the spa.

Such a beautiful hotel and perfect for families of all ages but also couples as the kids swimming pool and kids room are in seperated areas. Our kids had a wonderful time: kids club with lots of activities managed by such a nice and competent lady, slides in the kids pool, kids room with table tennis, table football and airhockey (although the air-con was not working properly at the time, so it was getting a bit hot). Lifeguards on duty at swimming pools, very reassuring. Breakfast was very nice with a station to make your own fresh fruit juices (never seen that!), local products etc. The restaurant was very good too and prices reasonable. Staff always very friendly. We discovered an amazing cocktail that we drank near the swimming pool always: Yuzu spritz: delicious, with a kind of jam with pieces of yuzu at the bottom, the best ever ! They had an amazing club sandwich with fries at the pool, very generous portion. Convenient distance to Palma too by taxi. We did not try the spa as it was under renovation but had access to the spa of the Castillo hotel Son Vida with a free shuttle service (also bringing you to the different golf fields). Nice gym with indoor and outdoor area. To sum'up: perfect stay, just too short, so we will be back!

Great for Golf, but Service and Rooms Need Work I stayed at Sheraton Mallorca primarily for the golf, and for that purpose it’s excellent—beautiful course and easy access for players. The property is quite far from the beaches if you don’t have a car, which wasn’t an issue for me but could be for others. As a Titanium member who checks into many Marriott properties, I found the check-in process below standard. The staff were friendly but clearly new and not well trained, and English should be spoken more comprehensively at a five-star resort. The guest rooms themselves also feel dated: showers and toilets could use renovation, and overall the hotel has more of a four-star, feel despite the Sheraton name. Great choice for golfers, but there’s room for improvement in checkin-staff training and room updates.
Laith R — Google review
A nice hotel in a relaxed neighbourhood with beautiful golf courses around. The staff were overall great. It was a shame that the indoor spa/pool was being renovated. Some of this construction work was happening right next to the outdoor pool of the hotel, so some days it did not make a relaxing experience. The hotel can be improved with the following: - the menu prices at the pool are extortionate. €6.50 for water, €22 for any lunch main. It was impossible for a couple to order a snack or lunch without spending €60. - Quite a lot of flies by the pool area. You could see guests constantly swiping at flies landing on them. - at breakfast often drinks orders would be forgotten or done incorrectly, eg. No milk when requested with tea Overall a good relaxing experience, I also recommend the tennis coaching if you like tennis.

Hotel Valldemossa is a sophisticated establishment located in a former monastery, offering free breakfast and Wi-Fi, along with a restaurant and spa. Situated atop the picturesque mountains of Mallorca, it provides breathtaking views and a secluded mountain oasis experience. The hotel's setting offers panoramic vistas that leave an indelible mark on visitors.
Our stay at Hotel Valldemossa was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning — the architecture, the interior decor, and the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The pool area is so tranquil with the surrounding trees and the serene bubbling of the fountain. We never had trouble finding lounge chairs by the pool. The spa experience is incredible; you get to reserve the sauna and indoor pool area for an hour at a time and enjoy it privately. It felt so nice alternating between the hot sauna and the cool water of the indoor pool. The restaurant is phenomenal. We loved all the snacks that could be delivered to you poolside (the cheese plate, the burger, the pan con tomate) and all the dinner options were sublime (especially the pork tacos, the lobster tacos, the sirloin steak, and the market fish). But what really makes Hotel Valldemossa special is the staff. We could never express our gratitude for how welcoming and accommodating they were. We actually decided to extend our stay another day because of how much we loved it there, and they kindly helped us with this and helped us extend our rental car arrangement. They also provided excellent restaurant recommendations and called to arrange reservations for us. We are so deeply grateful to Selim, Gonzalo, and Adriana for how well they took care of us and for their kind and welcoming hearts. We will absolutely be coming back and I cannot recommend Hotel Valldemossa enough.

The total experience in Hotel Valldemossa is simply breathtaking! The hotel location, guest areas, facilities and guest service are amazing. Every view conveys beauty, quality and tranquility. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast is incomparable in terms of detail and taste. There is a perfect balance between the privacy of the hotel and the lively charm of Valldemossa village. No matter which personal interaction, the management team, reception, customer care, restaurant, housekeeping, workout and wellness/spa - the entire Hotel Valldemossa team is strikingly heartfelt, engaged and professional - and makes the stay at this house an unforgettable memory. It is not the question if, but only when we will return. Thank you to all for making the hotel our wonderful home for the stay.

What a beautiful surprise! This was our first visit to Mallorca. We were two couples — the husbands cycling in the mornings while the wives explored or hiked. The IT Group recently bought and renovated Hotel Valldemossa, and it shows. The property is stunning, peaceful, and perfectly located near the charming town center (we love being able to walk to dinner). We visited in late October and enjoyed magical sunrises with coffee and golden-hour cava on the terrace. From a design, service, and detail perspective, Hotel Valldemossa now ranks among our favorite hotels — alongside Awasi Patagonia, Dar Ahlam (Morocco), and Zannier Phum Baitang (Cambodia). Different places, same feeling: peace and zen. A special thank you to Selim, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations and stories about Valldemossa. The cycling garage made life easy for us riders, too. Would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Valldemossa — and we can’t wait to return. PS: When checking reviews, sort by date — most older low ratings predate IT Group’s purchase. Today, Google review average would be 4.9–5-star experience

This place is absolutely stunning. I had done my fair research online and chose to stay in Valldemossa when my wife and I decided to visit Mallorca. Our stay at Hotel Valldemossa was beyond great from start to finish. We got greeted by Tim right when we got there and got to enjoy few tapas and drinks at their restaurant De Tokio a Lima, which by the way had great food - it is almost like the menu was tailored for the amazing view you get to enjoy while eating there. In addition, Adriana was the absolute best. She went thru all the amenities with us and always made sure we were happy. And I don't mean it in a way that was extravagant or exaggerated - she was there everytime we needed like she knew when we needed something - she just knew we needed something before we realized we even needed something. It is like she had a twin sister or something because she was at the front desk before we went to bed and was there the very next day early in the morning, I even had to ask her if she had gone home at all. We loved the private spa, which is by reservation and provided my wife and I a great time together. Getting in the indoor pool having our drinks delivered to us and jumping in the sauna just the two of us made the moment even more special. The hotel has a stunning view, waking up and having breakfast with that view is something you can't really put a price tag on. They also made sure to provide guidance and tips on any services, restaurants, excursions we were interested in. I ended up booking a half day boat ride with Toni Rigo per their referral (boat ride was wonderful by the way), and although I had a rental car to get to the marina, they ensured we would find the right spot to meet up and even offered to get us there on a transfer. I know for sure I am going back as soon as we get a chance. The town is also just 5 min walk away. My wife and I loved our stay, we have the outmost respect for the owners and the management, everything, from the little touches to the food, everything was thought out perfectly. Make sure to check out the other hotels in Mallorca own by the same group, we ended up staying at Hotel Calatrava on our last night in Mallorca, and we experienced the same level of hospitality as we had at Hotel Valldemossa. Bravo! We will be going back hopefully many times in our lifetime!

We went in just to take a look around the property as we visit Mallorca several times a year and have not stayed at Hotel Valdemossa yet. We met Tim who was kind enough to give us an amazing tour of the property and introduce us to the Guest Experience Manager. With staff like this we know the stay will be even better than the cocktails we enjoyed on the terrace! Thank you so much for a gorgeous intro to the hotel Tim, can’t wait to come back!!

By far one of the most stunning hotels we’ve ever experienced — both the property itself and the remarkable staff. The design is on another level: chic, stylish, and effortlessly elevated. Our suite was serene and calming, with breathtaking views. The staff were genuinely gracious and went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. We also dined at the hotel restaurant, which was absolutely delicious.

An Unforgettable Fairytale in Mallorca My husband and I just completed a five-day stay at Hotel Valldemossa, and it was, without a doubt, the most magical and exceptional experience of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place. A huge part of this was our incredible host, Selim, who treated us not just as guests, but like royalty. His warmth, genuine care, and impeccable attention to every detail were truly one of a kind. He anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to make our stay a dream come true. The entire staff was equally beyond amazing. Their professionalism and kindness were unmatched. On this trip, we wanted to reconfirm our marriage, and Selim and the team set up the entire ceremony for us in the most remarkable way. The setting was breathtakingly beautiful, and the fact that they took the time to capture the moment by taking pictures for us was a detail we will cherish forever. Beyond the personal touches, the hotel's amenities were flawless. Our dinner at the restaurant was "beyond worlds"—a culinary journey that was simply unforgettable. The flavors, the presentation, and the service were perfect. We also had the most incredible, one-of-a-kind massages at the spa, which left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Hotel Valldemossa is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that will stay with you long after you leave. We recommend it without any hesitation and cannot wait to return. Thank you, Selim and the entire team, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and has incredible views. Breakfast includes fresh, tasty, and diverse options. The ham is the best I have ever tried, and the detox juice along with the exotic fruits were simply delicious. Marina provided excellent service during breakfast, with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. Ana was extremely kind and helpful; she gave us a tour of the hotel and explained all the services, which made us feel very welcome.

Posada Terra Santa is a stylish and luxurious boutique hotel located in Palma de Mallorca, just a short walk from the Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral 'Catedral de Mallorca.' The hotel offers beautifully restored quarters in a manor with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy a wellness area with a solarium, sauna facilities, and an indoor pool. The hotel also features an a la carte restaurant serving contemporary cuisine.
Staying at Posada Terra Santa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. The staff went above and beyond, attending to every single detail and anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. Their attentiveness and kindness made us feel not like guests, but like truly valued visitors. Room service was incredibly fast—every request was handled with speed and professionalism, no matter how small. It's rare to experience such efficiency paired with genuine hospitality. Though it’s a boutique hotel located right in the center of Palma, the facilities are impressive and luxurious. The spa and sauna, available for private use and free of charge, were a rare and wonderful touch. It felt like having a hidden wellness sanctuary all to ourselves—relaxing, exclusive, and deeply rejuvenating. The rooftop terrace with the pool offers a breathtaking view of the city. Whether enjoying a refreshing dip or sipping one of their fantastic cocktails, the atmosphere was magical—peaceful during the day and absolutely stunning at sunset. A perfect escape above the city’s rooftops. The interior design is simply beautiful. The hotel combines historical architecture with elegant modern touches, respecting the character of the old building while offering all the comfort and style of a luxury stay. In every aspect, from hospitality to design to the small surprises along the way, Posada Terra Santa exceeded our expectations. A place where you feel seen, cared for, and inspired. We’ll absolutely return—and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and soul-soothing experience in Palma.

We had a wonderful experience - The hotel itself is beautiful and its entry is impressive. However, you quickly overlook it all with the exemplary service throughout your whole stay. Each member of the staff went out of their way to be helpful, from suggestions to being incredibly accommodating to our late flight post checkout. We truly felt like they cared. The location and walkability was perfect, often times walking would take the same or less amount of time than attempting to drive to our destinations. With excellent food choices, within, and nearby. Rooms were clean and welcoming with attentive room service.

HOTEL POSADA TERRA SANTA was wonderful in every possible way! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was quiet and dark, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Room 103 had this amazing hot tub on a private terrace which was outstanding. The service and friendliness of all the staff was wonderful, especially MARCOS GIL DUBUISSON who took care of us at 3:30am having breakfast read and waiting for us after the wake up call and getting us checked out and into the private car to the airport. He went above and beyond to be helpful and super polite and attentive. Thank you Marcos! The rooftop pool with the “honesty bar” to take what you want and write it down on the book was amazing. The views were beautiful and had such a vibe. The chill music, the lounge chairs, and little tables and everything was picture perfect. Oh, and the breakfast - wow! Delicious made to order eggs, and a lovely buffet. Highly recommend! We are already looking forward to another visit.

Beautiful, recently renovated hotel in the heart of old town Palma. The plunge pool on the roof was nice to come back to after a hot day walking around. The breakfast omelettes were also nice in the morning. Overall the service was excellent and the concierge service downstairs was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Very rustic and beautiful hotel. Modern interior and accommodations. Breakfast is 8-11am with buffet style of various fruits, pastries, meats, cheese and eggs. Hotel staff were the highlight, they were extremely helpful with booking reservations, car rentals, tours etc.

We had an outstanding experience at this hotel — truly the best one of our entire trip. One staff member in particular (a kind gentleman whose name, unfortunately, we didn’t get) went above and beyond to help us. As the hotel is located in the old town, driving there was a bit tricky for us. We initially parked on the roadside and walked in. Even though the hotel’s parking was already full, this staff member immediately assisted us by guiding us to a nearby parking lot, helping us purchase the ticket, and even carrying our luggage all the way back to the hotel. He then thoughtfully introduced us to local dining spots and attractions nearby, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Later, he even reported our license plate number to the office and explained our situation, just to ensure we wouldn’t get a parking fine. His level of care was genuinely heartwarming. The hotel itself is just as impressive as its staff — spotless, comfortable, and full of character. This was by far our favorite stay of the journey.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful hotel and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The setting is stunning — elegant, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed to offer a true sense of escape. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness, and a special mention to José Luis, who made our experience even more memorable with his attentiveness and warm service. You can truly feel the passion and dedication behind the scenes, and it’s clear the hotel is in excellent hands. Great resort but a bad choice for couples. Pros: - beautiful well maintained resort with great view points of the ocean and Porto Petro - excellent staff service across the resort. Bella in reception was amazing - great facilities and the gym in particular was superb for a hotel - excellent food quality in the restaurants and the buffet restaurant had a fantastic range of options Cons: This hotel is not at all suitable for couples or groups of friends due to the huge amount of babies and toddlers. The one enduring memory of our stay is the never ending crying babies and screaming toddlers. No matter where you go it is all you can hear, in every restaurant and in every outdoor space. Food often litters the floors in restaurants where kids have just thrown it off their high chair. The hotel markets itself as a luxury resort and shows pictures of calmness and tranquility, but this is absolutely not the reality. A couple of the restaurants do have small adults only areas but the crying and wailing is not escapable. There is one adults only pool. Overall, it is a great shame as the resort does so many things brilliantly. In fact, if Ikos ever decided to do adults only resorts I think they would probably be the best in the world. We usually go to Sandals and Ikos is much better in every sense. Particularly the food quality. However, we will never return to an Ikos because it is just not right for couples who want a relaxing break. Despite this, I have given the four stars rating because it is an extremely well run and beautiful resort and it would be unfair to do otherwise.
C W — Google review
I love an all inclusive resort but sometimes if they are too small the options become boring. IKOS Porto Petro offers so many different style pools, dining options and bars that you feel like you are at multiple resorts. The magic is that the stellar quality of service and excellent dining experiences are consistent throughout the resort. At first the scale of the property seems daunting but as you familiarize yourself with the layout you can enjoy the masterful landscaping that gently but beautifully leads you along the pathways to each exciting, and guaranteed to be worth the walk, next destination…or take one of the “buggies” (aka golf carts) that constantly roam to deliver you without a sweat. The overall feeling of the resort is of understated elegance with an upscale chic vibe ….you will want to extend your stay. In summary, service is 5 star and there is no shortage of staff; dining experience is first class; amenities are excellent. This is a very family friendly resort but adult options are clearly delineated. Dress is upscale beach chic. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely time at Ikos Porto Petro, our third Ikos experience (the other two being Olivia and Dassia) and this was our favourite. It’s set in a beautiful location with fantastic amenities. What makes Ikos successful with its cookie cutter model also has some downsides, I.e the restaurants feeling repetitive and the customer service being slow and unresponsive at times (because they get so busy). But overall if you like the Ikos concept and have been to the originals in Halkediki you will enjoy this version of it

Fabulous Hotel with outstanding service, all our requests were dealt with the upmost professionalism. We loved Anaya and Seasons Restaurant and the dine out at Cala d’or ( Porto Cari ) was absolutely superb. All the team aimed to constantly cater to our needs.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely incredible and really go out of their way to help you. We had an unfortunate situation where our taxi dropped us off at the wrong hotel, we were meant to be staying at a hotel 20 minutes walk away. We were unable to get another taxi because we needed 2 car seats for our twin babies, which is quite hard to come by! We started walking, but after 5 minutes, a member of the hotels staff pulled up in a car and kindly drove us to our hotel. The staff here genuinely can't do enough for you.

What an amazing experience visiting this hotel. Specifically the restaurant we went to, the Spanish one, was superb. From the starters through the main courses and the desserts as you can see in the pictures. The Familia was able to pair great white wine with a dinner, and aside from the lamb chops, which arguably was too salty, every single dish we took was amazing Budget is kind of crazy here, but other than that simply fantastic experience

We stayed in one of the stunning 3 bedroom villas and had a wonderful relaxed stay. The resort is beautiful. The food at the restaurants is delicious and we were spoiled for choice. We joined the morning Pilates class and took a jet ski safari which was such good fun. The concierge service was so helpful and could be contacted via WhatsApp. Nothing was too much bother. On our final day Anastasia were surprised us with a beautiful floating tray full of fruit and snacks which we enjoyed in the pool ! Fantastic stay - highly recommend.

Hotel
Convent de la Missió is a grand luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Palma's old town, housed in a 17th-century convent. The hotel offers 27 spacious and welcoming rooms, ranging from superior to luxury suites. Guests can enjoy the sleek Mediterranean restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Marc Fosh, as well as an indoor pool, sauna area, and rooftop sun terrace.
We had a fantastic time here on our honeymoon for 8 nights in a standard room. The concierge service was the best part - for Joan nothing was too much trouble. He provided brilliant recommendations for things to do, he helped with booking beach clubs, taxis, dry cleaning. We also thought the cleaning service was fantastic as they would come twice a day and leave it feeling very fresh. It is such a relaxing hotel with lovely amenities like private spa and free sparkling water. Truly feels like an oasis in a busy city!

Second stay at the hotel in August for 5 days. Luxurious and effortlessly cool place to stay. Without doubt the number 1 breakfast offering of any 5* hotel I have been to. So much choice with local delicacies and al a carte on top. Plus I will never forget when chatting with the hotel manager on arrival that if there was something we wanted that wasn’t on the menu he would ask chef to find it for us - I work with food for a living and there was ‘nothing’ more anyone could have wanted. The rooms are large and lovely. You book the spa and gym and have exclusive access. Location is right in the middle of everything but tucked into a quiet street. If I had to find one very small gripe, get rid of the rooms with a step in bath with the open shower - stepping in and out was a little tricky, having a walk in shower would make everything perfect. It’s not cheap but if you can you should.

Our stay here was magical! The room was gorgeous and quiet and all the Palma destinations we were excited about were a short walk away. But the true highlight was the staff; truly exceptional service all the way through. Edgar, Federico, and Veselka made our stay above and beyond. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a few nights in May over the span of our wedding and were absolutely blown away by the standard of the room, service and the courtesy of the staff. The staff could not do more for me, my bridesmaids and my family on the morning of our wedding (including constant coffees to our room, turning the room over 3 times in one day to make sure was ready for my girls and for our arrival as a married couple and the staff clapping and singing as I walked out the door in my dress!) To be treated so well as a young couple on the most special day of our lives was just wonderful, this hotel will always hold a special place in our heart and we can’t wait to visit again already. The wonderful girl (who I didn’t catch the name of) at the front desk deserves a special mention as she really fussed over us and calmed my nerves.Thank you so much once again!

I don't know how anyone could give this hotel less than 5*. The location is perfect. Central but quiet. The hotel is gorgeous, authentic and quiet. The food is fantastic. The amenities like breakfast, pool and spa are superb. But the staff are unbelievable. I must give mention to Johan who looked after us but all of the team are amazing. If you are looking to stay in Palma, stay here, it's amazing. We loved every second and couldn't recommend it more.

For my 50th birthday, my wife treated me to something special - and wow, did Hotel Convent de la Missio deliver! Nestled in the heart of Palma, this adults-only gem felt like stepping into a beautifully restored sanctuary of peace and pure indulgence. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The wonderful receptionist, Christina, greeted us like old friends, with that perfect mix of warm hospitality and five-star professionalism where check-in is done in the stunning bar lounge with drink in hand. Nothing was ever too much trouble - they genuinely seemed delighted to make our stay unforgettable (and they succeeded!). The facilities? Absolutely top-tier. Our room was a calming blend of modern luxury and historic charm, with every detail thoughtfully designed. But the crown jewel was the rooftop terrace - beautiful! Picture this: panoramic views over Palma's rooftops, plush sun loungers, a sparkling pool to cool off in, and a vino rosado in hand. We spent hours up there soaking in the sunshine and the serenity. It honestly felt like a private slice of heaven. Every corner of this hotel whispers elegance. And as birthday celebrations go, this one was right up there with the best - magical, exquisite, and full of those little "pinch me" moments. We left feeling pampered, relaxed, and already plotting our return. Hotel Convent de la Missio - you've officially set the bar for birthday getaways!

This stunning boutique hotel is the ideal place to stay in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. An old convent, rooms are large and the whole venue has a historical, gracious vibe. The rooftop pool is a highlight-such a gorgeous location to chill and have afternoon siestas. I loved my junior suite with stand alone bath, huge bed, luxe Gurlain beauty products and a full length as well as makeup mirror for dressing. More than enough room for two. The in-house restaurant Marc Fosh is extraordinary. Fosh is the only British chef to have won a Michelin star, and the food is absolutely gorgeous. Dining here is an experience to be savoured (but book ahead). The cocktails are out of this world, and staff are super kind and professional. What a fabulous stay.
Renae L — Google review
From the moment I booked, everything about this hotel was flawless. The team was incredibly responsive to my emails, sending me detailed suggestions and recommendations for my trip even before I arrived. When I landed in Palma early in the morning after a long flight, I reached the hotel around 7 am, exhausted. Joan went above and beyond to arrange an early check-in so I could rest right away. That thoughtful gesture set the tone for the entire stay. The moment you walk in, the hotel feels like a luxurious, peaceful monastery. The lobby bar is fantastic, and the breakfast was truly outstanding. The front desk team was exceptional – Joan, Xavi, and two other ladies whose names I sadly don’t recall, all made our stay seamless. Our Junior Suite was fabulous, beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hotel also has parking and valet service, which is a big plus in Palma. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to the center. What stood out most were the thoughtful touches: they provided beach bags with towels, even offering to pack picnic beach bags for us to take to the beach. They happily helped us plan our daily itineraries and made sure every detail was taken care of. We also visited their sister property, Fontsantana Spa near Es Trenc, before heading to the beach – and it was absolutely outstanding. Finally, after I returned home, I realized I had forgotten a few clothing items at the hotel. To my surprise, they emailed me right away and promptly shipped them internationally. That level of service is rare. This hotel is truly fantastic – I wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Palma!

Attended for a surprise birthday meal and everything was incredible. The food, atmosphere, service and location was absolutely perfect and they even catered to vegan requirements. Such a beautiful place, we couldn’t have been happier

Very delicious (plant based) meals and such a lovely place to have a nice dinner. The location is stylish and thoughtfully designed, with a great attention to detail. Very peaceful and quiet offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Conversations are generally kept at a low volume, which adds to the overall sense of tranquility. I’d love to come back! 💗

Absolutely fantastic accommodations amenities, and food. The location is unbelievable and walkable to town, but still very peaceful & quiet. The Château is stunning as well as the grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice resort and friendly staff. Very quiet and relaxing place next to a quaint town. I liked the breakfast, but didn't love the dinner/dessert options, but was perfect for yoga/holistic retreats especially since WiFi connection wasn't great, so it really helped you be present in the moment. I personally prefer to be closer to the beach, but was a nice break from reality and was a beautiful property.

We had the most delicious dinner of our entire holiday in Mallorca at this exceptional restaurant. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout the evening.

Wonderful experience at Cal Reiet. Place is peaceful and well located near the beautiful village of Santanyi and some of the island’s best beaches. Food was really a highlight - tasty and healthy. Rooms are spacious, well designed and clean.

I adore this hotel and grounds for brunch or lunch, but take your yoga classes elsewhere. The yoga platform is outside by the pool and unfortunately the pool bar is operating by 8:30am- clashing glasses, scooping ice and whirling blenders. Also they pre-book for the yoga class but do not take care to lay out the mats in advance. It is a small yoga platform and 10 minutes into class, 5 people showed up and everyone had to shift places in order to accommodate. I've been here many times and strangely, it's a tranquil, surreal experience except for yoga.

This is a wonderful hidden - not so hidden - spot nearby Santanyi. It is a must go whenever you are in the region. This is by far the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever been. Do not feel uncomfortable because it is vegetarian, you won’t even notice it. The extraordinary taste per dish is something we will never forget. What an amazing job by the chefs. The atmosphere is out of this world, and it already starts at the entrance. The service is outstanding, and the waiter provides excellent recommendations. Very calm and friendly. I would recommend it to everyone.

Platja de Muro, located on the north coast of Mallorca, is a stunning 6-km-long beach known for its fine sand and turquoise waters. It offers amenities such as restrooms, showers, and lifeguards for visitors to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. The beach sits in front of the S'Albufera nature reserve in the bay of Alcudia, with dunes bordered by pine groves.
We had a wonderful time at this beach—it’s very calm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s not overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this beach to anyone visiting Mallorca. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or solo, you’ll love the calm atmosphere and the stunning views. Also, a big bonus: the food options nearby are fantastic! There are plenty of great restaurants around, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious.

Amazing beach with a very wide shore—plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view!
Hanna S — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters stretching far into the sea – perfect for families with children. However, it is somewhat poorly maintained, lacks lifeguard supervision, and offers no natural shade, so an umbrella or beach tent is essential. It also tends to be quite crowded. In addition, there are many illegal beach vendors, though they are generally not very pushy. We visited with two children (3 and 8), who still had a wonderful time swimming and building sandcastles.

A wonderful place — a large beach with very clean water. We visited on a cloudy day, but it's still an amazing spot.👍👍👍
Jery — Google review
This is one of the best beaches on the island. We’ve visited here twice. Once in 2020 and again this week. The beach sand is almost white, the sea is clear as day, deep blue a few feet beyond that. A lovely boardwalk that goes out a fair way. Lots of green trees scattered amongst the sand, restaurants are in good supply too. Has to be on the list of places to visit when you come to muro.
James R — Google review
Absolutely beautiful beach if not a little busy but you can't blame folk for wanting to spend time in such a picturesque spot.

Definitely beach that we enjoyed the most. Beautiful blue see and sandy beach. It also has a lot of chairs and umbrellas, price is 21€ for 2 chairs and an umbrella which comes with a safe to put your things.

Nice Beach This is a great beach but we thought there were too many people and also it was not shallow enough for us. It goes deep pretty fast. Still nice but not what we were looking for.
