The staff was excellent—friendly, spoke English, and even provided English menus. The tartar starter was exceptional, and the lamb steak was amazing. Just a tip: avoid the tomato sauce with steaks—it doesn’t quite fit the vibe. As for sides, the baked potato was undercooked and not very flavorful, while the potatoes with bacon and onion were okay, but nothing special. But the meat and beer? Absolute top-tier. Definitely worth it if you’re going for the mains and drinks!

This restaurant is a true gem for both tourists and locals! The style is very unique and atmospheric, and the French dishes are absolutely delicious. We ordered the escargot and a large tartare — both were excellent and left us completely satisfied. Highly recommended!

This a very authentic German restaurant which has some amazing spare ribs and Beef tartar. The spare ribs were cooked to perfection with some cranberry sauce. We also tried some specialty fish dish and it was quite decent as well. Ambiance is great and staffs are really very friendly. I gave 4 stars to this place only because vegetarian food is very basic with some veggies, potato and sweet corn. I wish to see some more vegetarian varieties at this place for the same price.

Best steakhouse in Konstanz. Tasty steaks, corn on the cob, spare ribs, salad, and great deserts. Reservation recommended, especially on weekends.

For being a steakhouse, it's unacceptable to get the steak cold or mixing up "bloody" with "well done" (all comes out as "medium", no matter what you wish for). That said, the food is okay once they get it right

This was my first time ordering something here, the service was stellar, the waiters and waitresses were all efficient and very kind, it was a time well spent having a cappuccino here:) I'll definitely come back when I visit Konstanz again!

The absolute BEST food kitchen in Konstanz! We came here yesterday because Tuesdays is seafood day, and we were definitely exhilarated by the quality of the food which was served here, it just kept on coming better and better. In fact, it was so good that we paid each of the kitchen staff a beer afterwards, we just couldn’t get over how good this meal was. This restaurant is nowhere near the similarly rated restaurants in the same vicinity, it plays in a league on its own in Konstanz. Best kept secret 🤫

They have a menu for lunch with a starter (salad or soup) and a main dish. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, average prices. We come back every time we are in Konstanz. Highly recommended!

An average restaurant. We went there on a Saturday for our first drink. The chocochino was abominable. One of the worst I've ever had. On the second round, I opted for a goat's mozarrella and tomato salad. It was good, but unfortunately with not much taste of goat cheese.

Seafood Festival every Tuesday must be reserved. It was an exquisitely pleasant and sophisticated Restaurant. The ambience was amazing. Food was lovely and satisfying. If you are on a diet, it's a good place to eat here coz' their serving was just enough.

Nice little place for something small to eat or drink. Cosy places inside, lots of places outside. The dishes were great, as was the wine. The staff was great as well, welcoming and friendly.

Very interesting place. They offer a variety of small plates which were all delicious. Unfortunately as far as I understood today was the last day of this menu, but I'm sure the new one will be just as good. Shown here are the salmon ceviche, filo pastry with marinated artichokes, and strawberry tiramisu. Not pictured here, we also had the Sommerwein, golden apple, and Quincy Joe. Loved everything.

This place is very nice, spacious and lively. The waiters here is very kind and friendly. Cake and coffee are also good.

We once strolled past the Holly's restaurant and saw how nice it looked and decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday before noon and my wife wanted to try the breakfast plate - which according to the menu can be ordered until noon. At 11.50am we were ready for order. But nobody came. The service was pretty slow and arrived at 12.02pm. When we ordered one breakfast plate and a Wiener Schnitzel, the waitress told us it's too late to order the breakfast as it is now past noon. When we mentioned we were waiting for the last couple of minutes we got told "we're very strict". (Note: A couple of minutes later we saw the table she took the orders from just before us, still received breakfast). So my wife had to order something else instead and chose the Satay rice. When I got the Schnitzel, I was disappointed by its size. In Germany you usually get a decent portion, this was rather small. However it tasted very good, was very tender. The presentation of the plate and also the added potato salad seemed a joke. The salad didn't feel fresh or handmade, it looked and tasted as the cheap 50 cent salad you buy in a grocery store to eat on the go. And that Wiener Schnitzel plate came with a hefty price of 20 euros. Something nice to mention however is the ambience and design of the restaurant itself. To sum it up: Nice looking restaurant but service slow and not forthcoming; food OK but far from special.

Tasty food, friendly atmosphere and helpful service. Reasonable prices for the quality offered. The Rhine is just outside, parking is possible in the same building. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

That's supposed to be a baked potato... We were speechless when this dish arrived, the other dish was better but nothing extraordinary and also our waitress was pretty rude. It's a shame, the place is very beautiful with great interiors, but I wouldn't go back, ever. The menu is quite extensive which in my opinion only means the kitchen is all over the place instead of focusing in a few dishes of excellent quality. 🤷

Nice cozy place, with some sort of mix themed interior, high ceilings lined with rusted pieces of corrugated sheets, wood plank wall, colorful tiles in the front room, and a couch in the ladies restroom. They lit a candle on our table, right under a low hanging light bulb. Some idea of aesthetics, I suppose. They serve breakfast, and other meals. The lunch, and alcohol start at 12 noon. I was surprised to find Asian dishes in the menu... Satay, Thai curry, Indian butter chicken curry, etc. The last one is prefixed with 'Slumdog Millionaire', which I I felt was unimaginative. I'm not sure how many Europeans would have heard of this Hollywood movie. Most Indians don't even like the movie. I'm sure there are better ways to name this classic and much loved dish of North India, if at all "Indian Butter Chicken curry" is not enough. Personally, I have a problem, with the word Slumdog. It's so condecending. Sorry I'm drifting away from the main point. I hope they make a good butter chicken. It was one of my favourite dishes in Delhi long ago. It's a staple in almost every North Indian restaurant, and a regular at every party, big or small. But I didn't have the heart to eat something called a Slumdog Millionaire curry. I would have certainly ordered if it was called Classic or Authentic or Rich and Creamy, North Indian butter chicken curry... something that sounds delicious and appetising. Not Slumdog... So, instead, I had a classic American burger. It came with a smallish (compared to other restaurants in Konstanz) serving of fries and a small serving of coleslaw. The burger was fine. There was a slice of pickled zucchini, a slice of tomato and sautéd onions. No raw onion slice. The burger patty was really good. The sauces were ketchup and mayo. No mustard. The burger buns were baked ok, looked pale not that nice brown bun top, and not grilled (I like grilled buns, and mustard in my burger). Service was good and professional. They had gelatoes. So I'll go again for a gelato some time.

Nice and cozy restaurant with charming interior and nice terrace to the Seerhein. Food is great, also nice vegetarian and vegan options. Service really friendly and proactive!

Poor food quality. The schnitzel was burnt, and the rosti was store bought with so much taste of raw onion. Wouldn't recommend it.

Top restaurant! It has a lof of different varities of meal. Schnitzel, Burger, Pizza. I took the classic Cordon Bleu it was delicious and the meat was very soft. What I really appreciate is, salad is included. For starter we took garlic bread it was very good. The service was fast and very helpful. Very good restaurant! Recommended!

Friendly staff, excellent food (waiter suggested his favourite meal from the menu, “Zürcher Geschnetzeltes” which was extremely delicious), and of course good beer from the tap. :)

I have tried the Cevpcic and salad (Sopska) and it was good. Ambient is nicely made, service was ok. Prices are normal. Restaurant is located near a undergorund parking.

Randomly picked put this place to try out, and I highly recommend people to try out the burger here! You also get a good portion for the price you are paying. I was very satisfied and filled with a full stomack after eating at Das Haus Bonanza

I had a wonderful dinner at Mestiza in Konstanz today! The service was excellent friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy traditional Mexican/Latin American dishes. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

It was a nice surprise to find authentic latin food in Konstanz. Specially the 'enchiladas' which are the Mexican tostadas and they were delicious! Also, the tostones and arepas were amazing and the coconut flan so well executed. Keep up with the good work representing latin american flavors!! We'll be back :)

The food was so good that I had to make sure I didn't need a mexican visa to eat there. The ambiance was lovely, we could sit in the terrace with no one judging how hard it is to eat a tacos when we have a beard. The waitress was nice and didn't chase me with a stick when I forgot to leave the table at closing time. That's real positivity there Recommend

I give them 5 because the service was great and it’s the best you can find in Germany! So I’m Honduran (from Central American) and have lived in Mexico and South America and shared room with south Americans so I KNOW my food. -The enchiladas (in Mexico called tostadas) were amazing! In Honduras we eat enchiladas like this 👌🏼 -The filled tostones also good. Meat is tasty, good seasoned, felt like home. Guacamole also was TOP! -The nachos had a little meat but I asked for more and they were kind enough to add more meat 👌🏼so can’t complain. -The tacos were also good! It’s the best you find in Germany. Don’t compare them to tacos in mexico because it’s never comparable but it’s the best you can get in Germany and price is reasonable for the portion (considering how hard is to get everything). -Arepas: I didn’t tried them but my Colombian friend said they were okayish. Need improvement but everything else was goood. I feel is the best you can find in Germany and food is tasty. Service was great too!

By far the best restaurant in Konstanz! All the drinks and food were delicious. A must see if you’re visiting the town. The price is also very reasonable. Will be a favourite whenever I visit the city again.

We had such a good time that we had to come back two days later. Food is amazing, full of flavor and great value for money. Mandioca frita was extremely tasty and the enchiladas were top! A bit of latin flavor in cold Germany :)

Vegan and vegetarian options as well as authentic food without being fancy at all. Lovely! Sadly, no access to restroom with a wheelchair. Anyway: Gracias por todos!

A nice place for friends gathering. We ordered salad for lunch and the portion is more than an Asian can finish it. I would suggest to share the salad and burger or plaza if a couple dining there.

Strong drinks, big plates, and amazing service! The mozzarella sticks stretch so far and are very tasty. I also got the goulash which was very hearty and filling.

Really wonderful restaurant right on the Bodensee. Service was attentive and quick. Our salmon salad was exceptional with a light vinaigrette. The outside patio was wonderful too. Absolute keeper, not very many restaurants were open and I'm really glad they were.

I have been a couple of times to this Cafe and overall, I have never left disappointed. Food & Cakes are mostly very good although some are not cheap. This time I have had a cake which was fantastic and also a very good Goulash Soup. Drinks are pretty fine - nothing outstanding. Again not cheap but also not expensive. It is more or less the service that makes the difference. I have been there 2 days back to back - one day great , the other so so .... that obviously has an impact on the atmosphere which otherwise I would have rated on 5* if the service gets in line. Delicious food and fun place to hang out.

Situated on the lakeside it is a popular place. My wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes was really good as was his chicken burger and fries. With 2 lagers the cost was €44/£38 . We sat outside and saw a storm brewing with lots of lightning so I was really happy!!

This place was great. The ribs were delicious and a big one too. You won't leave here hungry. My friend ordered a salad and he also had problems with cleaning his plate. Definitely worth the visit. The place is also a very climatic one, the service is great and kind. If you'll be somewhere in the region, give it a try.

Very friendly and helpful staff, helped translating menu into English. Food cooked to perfection. I could gave eaten there every evening of our weeks holiday if only we had found it earlier.

Enjoyed excellent steaks and accompanying side dishes. Also good dessert. On a summer Sunday evening the terrace was already full, so we took a table indoors. The weather had been very hot all day (30* +) so the inside space was pretty warm. But the staff were very friendly, so the atmosphere was warm too. Highly recommended.

One of the best steak house I've never been.

One of the best steak houses ever. My filet steak was perfectly cooked. The potato gratin was amazing. The ribs and the bbq sauce made me think I was in a southern Texas shack. I'm impressed.

After an absurd long waiting time we got way overkooked meat. They simply cannot cook meat correctly. We didn't received the pieces we asked for (never seen fat on a rumsteack before (excepted on a picanha, what was not on the menu)). You pay an extra 3 EUR for frozen French fries, you don't get some fries included with a 28eur steak. The total amount, 75eur, for 2 persons is Way overpriced for what you got. Maybe because we are tourists...? If they only knew I used to run a steak house... 😉

Good and quick service! The waitress is very attentive. They can also accommandate the special diet requirement ( gluten free or lactos free). The food is very tasty!

Had a really nice experience at Kulinari. It was a quiet Saturday night still during the off season. Asparagus soup and salad starters were very good. Lasagna and curry chicken dishes were excellent with large portions. Even with drinks, bill less than 60€ for two. Service was very good for German standards as chef both served our main dishes and came by to ask how things were. We can definitely recommend.

Mix of srilankan and European food. Bit pricey. However they are located in a tourist place and could understand it. Owners are good.

Found this delightful place after a long day’s cycling, and it was just what was needed! Although pretty busy when we arrived, the staff helpfully managed to squeeze us in. Great food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly (but not intrusive) service!!

Not going back!starting with food:very boring taste!the dish placement is not esthetically satisfying at all!!the menu is not kids friendly.my daughter started crying because there was no food for her to eat(( now,to the service:the lady who served us,I guess she is the owner speaks no English,hardly understands German mixed with italian.it was very hard to communicate ..in the end we couldn’t pay with credit card,she said something shady about not having the credit card machine, and the check was written by pen on the paper and only the number,so there was no way to know if we were charged correctly or over charged ! and the most disgusting thing happened the moment we were leaving!!!she made an ugly comment about my kids and the way they ate!!!.i don’t speak german so i was confused if a understand correctly,but unfortunately i did..very disappointed about going to this restaurant and very disgusted with the whole experience!also their dog walks freely around the restaurant and barks suddenly which is somehow not very cool while you eat

A great place to stay if you’re travelling in Constance. The room is cozy and comfortable. Bed and pillows are also comfortable. It has a great sauna area and relaxing lounge. Restaurant has a great menu and kids's play area. The breakfast buffet has an excellent selection of food options fresh ingredients. Very close to the lake.

A very cozy hotel in the quiet and beautiful Litzelstetten. Perfect location—just 20 minutes to the old town. Litzelstetten has its own beach on the lake and plenty of water activities. The thermal baths are a 20-minute bus ride away, and you can reach Mainau Island on foot in just 20 minutes through a picturesque forest. A huge advantage is the hotel's restaurant, which offers delicious food with an incredibly beautiful presentation.

Possibly the best experience we’ve had as a family in a hotel. We’re foodie parents travelling with a 3 year old and a 2 month old baby. Play area in the restaurant with cool toys. Chill sofa area and lots of board games. Hanging chair in the room. Super comfy bed plus an extra one for the kids. Restaurant was outstanding, we loved all the dishes, including the bbq platter (plus an extra king prawn skewer). Worth travelling for alone. Breakfast was amazing too, waffles, lots of vegan options even Prosecco. Booked an extra night we liked it so much. Had a slight overcharge on the last night but called up and got a refund for the difference. It’s a quiet area, but there’s a bakery down the road and a nice playground close by. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Food was really delicious and the creme Brûlée made with coconut milk was amazing. I have recommended this restaurant already even to my friends in Switzerland. My family and I were there just because of their food...also through recommendation from friends 🧡

We wanted to have a nice quiet night, just the two of us, and this was the perfect place to do that😊. The food is at it's top, like allways, the atmosphere to dream for, and the service amazing. The waitress Saskia was allways available and smiling, although she had a busy shift. We will come again, but next time with the children, because this amazing place has also a play corner so that the whole family cand enjoy a lovely evening.

I can't forget how nice the staff was and the place was clean. But for me, the burger wasn't anything special especially for it's price and though we ordered double burger, it was still normal size. Got me thinking how the normal size would then be. I also didn't like that they're was flies as we were eating, therefore the 4 star. But overall a nice place.

The food was delicious. The beers were warm, and there was no way to exchange them. Overall, the food was good. The staff was very poor, given that the restaurant was empty. There were only two tables, and it took them a long time to serve the drinks.

Food there was lovely. I and my girlfriend, both got the Chuck Norris Burger with fries. Bit expensive, came to €42 for two burgers with chips and a ice tea each. It's decorated nicely. Understaffed. Took us about 45 mins for the waitress to take our order. Which was not her fault because she had to greet people as they came in to the restaurant.. More service staff, and I probably would have given this place 5 stars. Anyway, I'll be back. I do recommend this place.

Please teach your staff how to be less rude with the visitors, that’s disgusting. We came in and waited for some time. After no one came to us, we decided to sit ourselves as the room was almost empty. Once we sat down the waiter said that we MUST wait and demanded that we go back to the entrance refusing to come to our table. Once we came back to the entrance he schooled us that we have to wait and rudely said that the kitchen is already closed. To this we turned away and left.

This place has lovely burgers, ranging from chicken, to beef, to vegetarian and vegan. The service was kind, friendly and persistent, even when it was quite busy during lunch. The interior decorating is super special and inviting. It feels as though you are in a Forest. We ordered the "Vollmundig" on a brioche bun (normal fries), and the "Wilder Westen" without a bun (sweet potato fries). They both tasted AMAZING! There is a nice option of sauces on the table to choose from: Ketchup, BBQ sauce (very good, not too sweet), Fries sauce, and Orange mustard. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you are a fan of burgers.

We went twice so far to the Hans im Glück branch in Konstanz. The first time was excellent, we got a good spot outside and service was quick. Second time we sat inside and although the inside seating was not fully occupied, it took a very long time (more than 15min) until someone actually came to our table and get our orders. It took another 30min until we got the food. Food itself is delicious and the restaurant and its design is very nice.

Clean restaurant. Great burger promo meal and drinks. Fresh ingredients, nicely presented. I would have no hesitation in returning. Staff were excellent. Spoke English fluently, which made up for our embassingly lack of German.

The food was excellent, accompanied by a wonderful ambiance and outstanding customer service. We opted for the burger and chicken salad, which were both delicious. It was a delightful evening spent with a friend, and I would definitely consider revisiting. Additionally, its convenient location near the city center makes it even more appealing. The price is definitely worth the experience.

I’m not sure if it’s just me but the burger tastes different in Chur. I like it there more 😅 Maybe because of the beef too but anyway, it was nice and cozy although the staff isn’t so attentive as expected and we had to wait a while before they noticed we are done and can pay.

I just hope the kitchen is in better shape than the toilets. Very unclean toilet area! Especially in times of Covid I'd expect a higher focus on sanitation. Staff was rude. A female employee at the "pick up" counter was very rude to us and only gave us half the ordered items (we only got the burgers) and told us that's it (aka leave now!). When we reminded her that we ordered two menus with fries, she rolled her eyes and literally threw two (rather small) fries bags on the tray. Not what you expect, even from a fast food chain! At least the food itself was good/as expected from other Burger King's.

I have to admit that not being able to speak German in a German-speaking country is really not that good. some speak at least English. Thank god the blonde manager can speak both languages ​​and was able to help us. We had problems with this machine, but she gave us caring, fast and satisfactory advice, very good! Food was ok.

Very clean, nice Burger King but the food was pretty cold even though it was made to order and there were no other customers when I was there. So thats really disappointing as it is also quite expensive for fast food. It was also understaffed with just two people in the back.. but still.. the burgers should be hot...

The food was ok. But the worst thing about this place was the employees working there today. They were very unfriendly and not helpful. I had a coupon and they wouldn't take the order and I asked for help and they were ignorant and not answering. I had to call them 10 times to get an answer but it was still not helpful. Because they don't care and the machines also don't work properly. As the machine doesn't work, I went to the cash register to pay in cash but refused me thrice. One of the worst places I've ever been to with the worst Service. I want to give zero but there's no option.
