Overall it was a nice place to stay and we did enjoy our time in the sauna area, very nicely designed with the spa area and three saunas to choose from. The parking options are a bit strange, not sure about the location and even though the rooms have plenty of space, they are a bit awkward in layout and missing the charm (maybe some fun pictures or decorations). But again overall a nice stay, just not quite what I was looking for at the lake.

First of all, there is no parking option for your car. The only option you have is to park your car into a public parking place which costs 20 euro per day. (Hotel doesn't give you any discount). Rooms are mediocre, and pillows are uncomfortable, but the cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. Lobby, lounge, and bar are all together. Cocktails are great, but they will be the only delicious think you can ever find in this hotel. Breakfast is super expensive for the service you get. Even fruit juices are not fresh and bought from the cheapest and most tasteless brands. When you get coffee for your breakfast, you pay an extra 8 euro, which totals up breakfast to 26 euro for a single person. (Breakfast was so out of options. Everyone's plates were looking like each other). Don't even try the sweets at the lounge. They sell cakes from yesterday or even from 2 day earlier. SPA service is great, and the hotel location is very good. I don't recommend this hotel.

Booked with upper size of room(28m2) but give 24m2 size which is smaller also in the room there is no refrigerator, and reception manager did not try to solve the matter and said that dealing with reservation platform, Have a bad smell from toilet, the WiFi is super slow, none OTT apps at the media

Rooms are clean and proper, views of the front rooms are supernice. We've been here a few times. It's just that recently the staff at the front desk doesn't behave polite. Twice we've been treated unfriendly. They are not capable to stay cool and they become offensive. It's not acceptable. Next time we're in town we will stay somewhere else. The hotel is nice but if the staff does not understand the basics of hospitality everything else is wasted.

Great location on a bank of the Rhine river where locals come to swim or have a picnic, great top floor sauna with a superb view, fairly new building with nicely decorated rooms, OK breakfast. It would have been a nearly perfect stay had it not been for repeatedly unpleasant interactions with the front desk staff.

We stayed at the hotel as a group of 16 people, including small children — and we all absolutely loved it. The location is just perfect, right on the lake, with breathtaking views you never get tired of. Breakfast was excellent — lots of fresh, tasty options, and the chance to enjoy it while looking out over the water made it even better. The staff were incredibly kind, patient (especially with the kids!), and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Truly a memorable experience. We’d happily come back again.

As hotel are located on island and you can reach hotel only by bridge its gave you feeling that you are staying in some private resort that are in city clause to everything but in same time you have private and very quit neighborhood ,as building front site are situated to lake and from side windows of hotel building you see beautiful garden with side view of lake .

I’ve stayed here twice in this month and both my stays very very satisfactory. Infact, despite the fact that booking through a preferred program, that indicated me I’d receive some no edits such as late checkout and credit, which are usually useful for a frequent traveler such as me, I understand that this may be more a problem to look with the provider rather than the hotel, but the good points of this hotel quickly made positively impacted me, while during the first time I have not been able to secure a single deluxe room as they were already booked, the “comfort” single room was nonetheless very spacious for a room of this type and especially the bed, a queen size that could be used for two people in some hotels, and provided the whole lot of classic amneties alll this for perhaps one of the best value you could find in Western Europe, and in an amazing location such as this. Notably, the cleaning service, while it starts off quite early in the morning I’ve always had the pleasure to return from breakfast with a cleaned room, a rare treat in hotels, even five stars. The staff, that I sadly didn’t remember the names, but notable the cleaning staff and the dark haired lady at the breakfast bere both amazing and it was a pleasure to start the day off with them. The breakfast itself was of very high quality and had a great choice of both cold and hot dishes, and notably the possibility to have your own customized egg dish made by the chef. For my second stay I this time had the possibility to get into a lakeside deluxe room and while it seemed a bit smaller compared to the comfort one the fact that even a single room can benefit from a balcony is an amazing addition, I will definitely come back here during my next trips in the Bodensee Area!

The historic building, combined with elegant interiors and beautiful lake views, creates an exceptional atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of fresh regional products. Service is professional and attentive, as expected from Steigenberger. Overall, one of the most charming hotels in the region – timeless, elegant, and perfectly located.

This hotel is stellar. It deserves all the stars of the world. Location is gorgeous, to start with, just by the lake with a great lake terrace and gardens. Only a few minutes walk from both the station and city centre. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, with perfect bathrooms. Mini bar is free of charge. They offer an outstanding breakfast with fresh products and great variety. They also have apples (delicious from the lands nearby), snacks and drinks for free in the hall. The rest of services are admirable, with professional staff and a pretty bar with infinite choice of cocktails. I couldn’t recommend it more. Hospitality is their thing!

The hotel itself is beautiful, full of history and quiet. Definitely not for the young ones who wants to party at night. This hotel is clean and the staff are very attentive and generous with their excellent service. The view facing the lake is something to behold, esp the sunrise. Theres a small spot where you can go swim in the lake but one must be a strong swimmer to do so as the lake as a strong current. Drinks in the room are included. Robe and slippers are provided. Cleaners come early, mine shows up at 8am :) You can request many different types of pillow. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and meetings here. Really beautiful place, esp for couples who wants to go away in a quiet spot.

Absolutely love this hotel. We were staying, for the first time, over Christmas the year Covid broke out. It wasn’t a “thing” in Europe at the time, but a distant piece of news and marks our memory in time. We absolutely loved the place and enjoyed the views across the wintery lake and vowed to return. This summer we used the newly improved hotel, with its extensive expansion and modifications, as a stop off on our way to and from Tuscany for a road trip. Eating at Ophelia was a wonderful start to our holiday and at the more casual but very accomplished Seerestaurant on our evening heading home was excellent. The hotel is impeccable, clean, well laid out, friendly and helpful staff, great underground parking, lovely rooftop pool and the the spacious rooms have a luxurious finish and well considered layout, though not all have a lake view. The breakfast is laid out as a buffet with the option to add cooked dishes to order, the waffle sandwich with bacon and maple syrup etc. is incredibly naughty…. and irresistible! I’d like the opportunity to spend a few nights there again, relax and enjoy all the lake has to offer.

Hotel is nice but the service at this level really lets it down. Some staff are professional but others downright rude and the management does not care about the guests.

RIVA, Konstanz — elegant setting, but not quite worth the hype The restaurant is beautifully located right on the lake — serene, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed evening. But the food? A mixed experience. 🌮 Taco with salmon – two tiny tortillas, lovely taste, but the size barely counts as a starter. 🐟 Ceviche – fresh, visually appealing, but flavor-wise… quite ordinary. 🍝 Linguine with lobster – pasta was perfectly al dente, made from quality durum wheat. The lobster itself was beautifully cooked and actually saved the dish, as the sauce lacked depth. 🍮 Crème brûlée – served with strawberries, biscuit, and sorbet. Nicely presented but nothing memorable. 💶 Final bill: €197 for two. ❗ The biggest issue: a real disconnect between portion size, taste, and the price. Visually refined, yes — but overall, overpriced for what it delivers. ✅ Worth a visit once for the view and vibe — but not a place I’d rush back to.

Being situated at the lakeside, this newly renovated hotel 🏨 has a nice views 🌅 There's a beautiful pool on the rooftop with a bar 🍹🍸🥃 The spa/sauna 🧖‍♂️ is wonderful. The rooms are big enough and the beds are really comfortable. Highly recommended 🤩👍🏼

Friendly staff and comprehensive breakfast. We stayed here at the start and the end of our Radweg Reisen tour. The first room we had (25) had much more comfortable beds than the second (12) which were a bit lumpy and creaky, so maybe hit and miss?

A nice and comfortable mid-size hotel. It's location is near Bodensee and Mainau Island. A bus station is only a minute away and any bus in Konstanz is free for tourists. The street in front of the hotel has some traffic but in the hotel it is quite silent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not noticed any noice from other guests.

Located in a quiet and cozy neighborhood at lake Konstanz is this amazing hotel. It is clean, quiet and friendly. I appreciated the new furniture! The room was a nice size and even had a cozy balcony! The bed was stylish and yet cozy and modern with outlets at the bedside for phone charging. The location was absolutely perfect because you are a few steps from the ferry to Meersburg as well as a nice lake side park called Horlepark. I loved the family run atmosphere. The couple that runs the stay were kind and even walked around the dining area during breakfast to individually greet the guests.

it was agreed that we would call if we'd arrive after 6PM when the lobby closes. no answer on phone calls at 8PM. waiting under the rain to finally leave to another place where I was welcome... the room was charged anyway by the owner who didn't want to understand the situation. nice!

Advantageous location for the ferry to Meersburg, with frequent buses to city center. A few restaurants and bars on the harbour allow for a relaxed dinner or drinks without going into town. Swim in the lake in a beach five minutes' walk away. Breakfast nice, with dine homemade cakes. Rooms facing the street receive a lot of light from street lamps, so on hot summer nights one faces and unwelcome trade-off between darkness and a cool draft in deciding how much to close the blinds. A fan would help.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! We arrived by train from the airport and were so relieved to see the hotel directly across the street (and no we did not experience any noise from the trains at all). The front desk staff was wonderful and attentive, and the rooms were so clean! We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of all major areas and attractions. 10/10 experience and would definitely stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure to return to the Hotel Halm for a seven night stay. The hotel is conveniently located across from the train station. It is also a short walk to shopping, restaurants, ferries and the lakeside promenade. My room was located on the fourth floor with a lake view. It was a very quiet room with no noise from the street. My only complaint with my room was the dodgy WIFI connection. I had excellent fast WIFI everywhere else in the hotel except in my room. Perhaps a signal booster on the fourth floor would help. Otherwise, the room was spacious, updated and well appointed with the usual amenities. Housekeeping did a great job with daily service. I found the entire staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially the front desk associates. The breakfast buffet was great, with a large selection to choose from, but I didn’t like that guests are expected to reserve a time for the breakfast buffet. When I’m on holiday, I don’t want to be on a schedule, especially for breakfast. I also enjoyed a delicious evening meal with friends in Le Marrakech and the food was excellent. I wanted to go back again but was disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I look forward staying there again on my next visit to Konstanz.

I can only review the service of the restaurant which was horrendous… we waited 15-20 minutes for a waiter to arrive and then we had to pay instantly, which was fairly offensive since we were the only ones to pay directly. On top of that, the payment had to be done in the kitchen and not at our table. At least the coffee and coke zero arrived fairly quickly.

The hotel leans heavily into its rustic charm, perhaps a bit too heavily. While the aesthetic might appeal to some, it felt like an excuse to delay much-needed room renovations. Staff interaction was hit-or-miss: friendly on some days, indifferent on others. Overall, it’s a case of getting exactly what you pay for, and not a penny more.

I hate this place because of the organisation in the hotel. We didn’t know in what time they have cleaning and after that they haven’t cleaned the room for a tree days. Also in room we don’t have some things like knife and fork. When you want to take food to the room than you need to take knife and fork and also thing with WIFI. The WIFI is definitely bed and nothing is downloading.

A great place to stay if you’re travelling in Constance. The room is cozy and comfortable. Bed and pillows are also comfortable. It has a great sauna area and relaxing lounge. Restaurant has a great menu and kids's play area. The breakfast buffet has an excellent selection of food options fresh ingredients. Very close to the lake.

A very cozy hotel in the quiet and beautiful Litzelstetten. Perfect location—just 20 minutes to the old town. Litzelstetten has its own beach on the lake and plenty of water activities. The thermal baths are a 20-minute bus ride away, and you can reach Mainau Island on foot in just 20 minutes through a picturesque forest. A huge advantage is the hotel's restaurant, which offers delicious food with an incredibly beautiful presentation.

Possibly the best experience we’ve had as a family in a hotel. We’re foodie parents travelling with a 3 year old and a 2 month old baby. Play area in the restaurant with cool toys. Chill sofa area and lots of board games. Hanging chair in the room. Super comfy bed plus an extra one for the kids. Restaurant was outstanding, we loved all the dishes, including the bbq platter (plus an extra king prawn skewer). Worth travelling for alone. Breakfast was amazing too, waffles, lots of vegan options even Prosecco. Booked an extra night we liked it so much. Had a slight overcharge on the last night but called up and got a refund for the difference. It’s a quiet area, but there’s a bakery down the road and a nice playground close by. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Food was really delicious and the creme Brûlée made with coconut milk was amazing. I have recommended this restaurant already even to my friends in Switzerland. My family and I were there just because of their food...also through recommendation from friends 🧡

We wanted to have a nice quiet night, just the two of us, and this was the perfect place to do that😊. The food is at it's top, like allways, the atmosphere to dream for, and the service amazing. The waitress Saskia was allways available and smiling, although she had a busy shift. We will come again, but next time with the children, because this amazing place has also a play corner so that the whole family cand enjoy a lovely evening.

I visited the Hotel Barbarossa early October, and I keep a wonderful memory of the place. The hotel is filled with history, old of several centuries for the walls and the pilars of wood, more recent (early XXth century) for the rest. The hotel counts on that, and shows us the story of the place, through the pictures on the walls, the old cupboards, or the stained glass in the restaurant. People working here are more than happy to share the story of the city and the hotel too and the whole staff is really nice. In short, it was very cool. A nice place, very different feeling than other places I have been to recently.

Very nice hotel with a a great price/value ratio. Food is excellent and the rooms are very clean. The entire city of Konstanz is basically in walking distance from the hotel. You can reach almost all sightseeing spots in a few minutes by foot. Staff is very friendly. The only thing I really didn’t like is that the room keys are very chunky and can be a pain to carry around all day. The reception is manned until 11pm though so you can leave them there unless you want to be out all night.

Excellent location, great staff, and good breakfast. We stayed during the end of October so rates were good which meant good value. Terrific location right in the heart of the old town with walk streets right at the hotel. Good breakfast with a good variety of items - great pot of coffee! Very friendly staff who spoke English well. on the other hand ... Hotel was a bit dated and there were no wash clothes in the bathroom and the bed did creak. Otherwise we were very happy in the hotel.

From the moment you go through the front doors you feel welcome. The staff are most attentive and courteous, always ready to help - invariably with a happy smile. The variety of food provided for breakfast is extensive and the food for this and dinner in the evening is high quality. The accommodation generally is very comfortable and well kept. We have thoroughly enjoyed every occasion we have stayed at the Barbarossa and hope to repeat the experience on future occasions.

We stayed 3 nights and a fourth at the end of our cycling holiday. The rooms are very comfortable, the reception staff very helpful and charming in spite of the busyness of the hotel In peak season. The breakfast was delicious and the courtyard lovely for a quiet drink and dinner.

Lilienberg is absolutely exceptional. The service is warm, attentive, and flawless from start to finish. The food and drinks are outstanding - thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and every bite is memorable. The grounds themselves are stunning, perfectly maintained and such a peaceful setting that makes the entire experience feel special. Truly one of those rare places that exceeds every expectation - I can’t recommend it highly enough!

A hidden treasure. This is as perfect an experience as you can get. The rooms are lovely, the food is amazing, the staff make you feel like you are a star. I cannot believe I did not know about this spectacular hotel. It belongs on best small leading hotels of the world.

We spent a long weekend here and did not regret it. The staff is very friendly and competent. The rooms are very nice with a lot of space....amazing terrace with great views and tasty food. We rented some e-bike and did a lovely and easy tour to discover the region. I can highly recommend it.

The place was awesome. In the past few years I have had the pleasure to visit Lilienberg a few times. While I truly marveled at its location and “special” view and all the rest from my first stay, it has leaped to higher heights! The current staff is warm and engaging and helpful. The food and drink have been elevated too. Their grounds and overall tone are truly remarkable. The quaint town of Ermatingen is charming and immaculate as well, adding to the experience. I will be recommending The ‘all new’ Lilienberg to friends and family and anyone who appreciates warm hospitality in a very special place in beautiful Switzerland!

Lilienbrrg is a beautiful full service hotel offering stunning views of the lake and landscape. The public spaces and the rooms are impeccable. The restaurant called Aurelia, offers the most delicious food from breakfast to lunch and dinner! The Remise offers a full service bar with a very creative bartender named Carmello. He is a true craftsman! He can make anything you request with a special spin on it. The service is extraordinary. The staff welcome all guests with a big smile and will go out of their way to keep you comfortable. Don’t pass by this beautiful property located in the lovely town of Ermatingen. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I recently returned from a fantastic vacation at Lilienberg. We have been fortunate enough to visit the property several times, and on each occasion we leave with the plan to return. Sitting above Lake Constance provides expansive vistas of the Lake and Germany, beyond. The overall property is very large and allows for relaxing on the grounds, enjoying a delicious meal, or a wonderful cocktail. You can also walk into town, visit Napoleon III’s house, partake in activities on the lake, hike in the mountains, or sample delicious wines at a nearby vineyard. The staff is courteous and omni-present without being intrusive. The highest compliment I can give is that I know we’ll be returning!

A great place to stay for holiday or business overlooking the lake. The place is perfect for a quiet holiday or a business get together. The place is big with few buildings and spread nicely. They have an amazing heated pool and spa as well. The landscape is amazing. It is super neat and clean and well organised. They offer packages including stay and dining which is better as the village is quite small and cannot have much options.

Really be careful with this hotel. Their website is buggy, suggest to book through 3rd party. Website will book multiple rooms for you, if it ever gives an error message! Unless you spot this and cancel them early you will be charged for their errors. Use a credit card and chargeback. Venue also uses shady tactics. If you notice the charge and want to cancel the extra rooms, they will ask you to wait until 5pm to see the manager, at which point you'll be told you can't cancel today, it's past 12. Shady/scammy venue, would not recommend. Pay the 5€ extra for a Hilton to avoid the headache! Suggest you read the other 1 star reviews with similar issues being faced with snarky responses.

Room of two people is very small compared to the price they offer. We had a issue of luggage and ask them to keep the luggage but they didn't agree, we were ready to pay still they didn't agree. In most of the hotel they agree on keep the luggage but they didn't agree and it was a disaster for us. No service...

The review is based on a personal experience during a two-night stay at this hotel in July, 2025 with my family. Parking: Upon arrival, difficulties were faced entering the parking garage. Insufficient space was available in front of the hotel for temporary parking. Finding a parking spot outside required a bit of a walk. Reception: The check-in experience was disappointing. The receptionist left guests waiting for over five minutes while on a phone call. There was no acknowledgment or apology to those waiting, which made it feel like they were giving us money for our stay. Self-check-in is available, but getting information from the reception desk was challenging because of their availability or response. Cleanliness & Comfort: This was the worst part. The "family room" was congested and had an unpleasant smell. The washroom was worse, with a seriously bad smell and poor ventilation. There was also mold in the bathroom. The air-conditionor in the room primarily served as a loud noise source, producing a strange sound without affecting the temperature. Basic amenities like a kettle, coffee mugs, or a cooler were absent. Good thing about these situation is, these conditions discouraged spending any unnecessary time in the room :). Breakfast: The breakfast was just okay and not worth the cost. Summary: Despite being a budget hotel, the overall experience wasn't worth it. I wouldn't stay here again.

The experience was close to a disaster. Not only the room was not great compared to what we got used to with B&B hotels in the past, but got closed to scary. For the first part, simple stuff really were painful. Bad bathroom mechanical ventilation left bad humidity smell throughout the room. No Kettle or anything equivalent ( a staple even in some cheap hotel chain...). Receptionist close to non existant and no safe luggage service ( Luggages stayed in the middle of the hall, un-attended as mentioned before). But the worse part, which is low key scandalous, happened on the last night. While we had a "dont disrupt" tag on the door to get a proper sleep, someone tried to enter the room at around 7 AM. We first thought it was a cleaning lady that did a mistake, no big deal, until we leave the room an hour later and a unknown lady show up at our door, a piece of paper at her hand with our room number and password (along with another combination for another room i could clearly see), asking to enter the room to check for a lost luggage. We have been in the room for a few days, this was not only strange, but very scary that a random woman that did not present herself got the free access to our room. While we confirmed there was no such luggage in the room, we continued on our way to get breakfast in city center. When we came back, we knew for a fact that someone entered our room as the lights were left on and we made sure to turn them off before leaving... This is not acceptable. We have no idea who this lady was, had no way to even complain to the reception this it was left un-attende and we had to take a train. Overall that is by far the worse hotel experience i ever had. I do not recommend this hotel, and clearly changed my mind on B&B hotel. Trust is lost.

They don't safekeep your belongings if you come in early, instead they suggest to leave them unattended in the hotel lobby. (Big bummer) Besides that it's an okayish hotel next to a bus station that brings you to the city center on a 15 to 20 minute schedule (Which makes location ok, but not good) and some minor cleaniness issues.

There is no 24*7 support in person in hotel. Main Entrance Doors were locked in night time. During late night check-in with family no one was there on reception and if you don’t have proper booking or something is missing you can not checkin in the hotel.

Had a very unfriendly welcome when checking in with a man behind the counter who didn’t seem to want us there. WiFi does not reach all rooms, our room was completely out of reach. Otherwise ok hotel for a shorter visit

Value for money hotel. Nice, friendly and helpful receptionists especially Yana and Norma. The cleaners were very good. Konstanz lacked atmosphere and people look sad. Take your passport when you go out as you will be stopped by police if you don't fit the criteria on their heads. Expect to be stopped many times and checked by police , it is not a nice experience as you think you are on holiday. When you complain, you will receive a preprepared response from tourists board! There is no outstanding arcticture and no sole in the stagnant Konstanz and it is not worth spending your money and get depressed. Go to Italy, Portugal or France if you like a relax atmosphere.

I had a spontaneous stay at this facility yesterday and I can say that it was a right decision. My check in process went smoothly and the whole staff was very delighted to fulfill my requests or orders. I am thankful for their kind, smiling and attentive attitudes. Room and other parts of the building was clean, tidy and neat. I was offered breakfast and public transportation ticket at my check in but I didn’t book those options since I didn’t need any of them. My room was prepared well and it was neither dusty nor dirty. Tv was functioning and I always enjoy watching German channels anyways. The window was opening fully which is an uncommon thing in contrast to my prior ibis stays from other countries like Netherlands or Turkey. The location was also perfect so I would definitely stay there again by the next opportunity.

Great hotel for exploring the city if you don’t have too high standards. The rooms are very clean and modern but could be a bit more cosy. I had a room on the first floor ‘facing the lake’. Due to another building I had to stretch a lot to see some water. I saw way more of the quite noisy street right in front of my room. Breakfast was ok especially for the price (6€p.P. With my Expedia booking).

It is a very nice hotel in a great location. The only downside was no hot water one morning, and they took one towel and never replaced it, so we were short a towel one morning.

The first 3 days of stay they didn't tell us they had bus tickets included in the stay, so we paid for the bus until we got told at an information centre in town that most hotels give free bus access. The hotel isn't so close to the centre but the bus stop is right across the road. The room was quite small, no room for luggage of 3 people, if you’re travelling from far away, and you may have larger luggage. There was no wardrobe to put clothes away, just a small place to hang a couple of things. The breakfast is great.

Alexander was very helpful and hardworking. The staff were friendly. Front desk seemed understaffed as they were overwhelmed with long line of customers non stop throughout the day. Breakfast was good. Bus stop right in front. Lake and restaurants 5min walk. No pool, only gym. Security could be improved.

Rooms was very basic but overall was ok. What really made the difference here was the service especially this morning - the guy at the reception was one of the kindest humans I've ever met. At 5 am I went for the check out and he asked me if I wanted a coffee and gave it to me. I just want to praise this random act of kindness.

Clean comfortable room, in-room A/C, excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff, good value for the money. So why only four stars? We were on the sixth floor (the top floor) and it was very warm. Our room A/C struggled to cool it down and it never did get as cool as we wanted. The hotel regulates how low the thermostats will go and I'm sure they do it in the winter as well. Would I stay there again? Yes, but not in Summer or Winter with temperature extremes.

I highly recommend this hotel. Spaceful, clean and tidy rooms. The Staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast has a lot of variety of choices, everything is very fresh. It has a bus station that takes you directly to Konstanz Station. I hope I'll come back soon!

We, a family of 3, stayed at Hampton by Hilton at Konstanz for 3 nights over the weekend. Checkin was super easy and we were told about the complimentary breakfast and wifi details. They have also mentioned about the time ranges for breakfast when there is high rush and when it's not that crowded to facilitate the guests. Room was quite nice and big for 2 adults and a child and quite a big bathroom. Breakfast was super good. You have many things to choose from different breads, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, wafers, small cupcakes, croissant, soup, nuggets, hash browns, coffee , tea etc. The bus stop is right infront of the hotel. So for people like us who travel by public transport it was a massive plus. You get Bus no 6 which goes to all over town and main train station every 15mins. Overall a really good experience and we will definitely stay here next time we visit konstanz.

I am in Konstanz at least once a year for work. This was my first time at this hotel and I have to say so far it was the nicest one I stayed at in the area. Breakfast was good (though I would suggest adding an allergens list to plates if not clear) and personnel were nice and welcoming. Also got a drink at the bar and had a nice vibe as well. If you are looking for a nice pleasant not fancy stay while in KN harbr. is recommended.

Nicely located just across the river from the old town. The local area is quiet and peaceful. The room was immaculately clean upon entering. Reception was friendly, discussed the best ways of visiting the city, and how to get around. Breakfast was great. Good choices of breads, cheeses, hams, and other brekky things. It was well thought out. Overall, a really good experience.

The Missus and I along with our Canadian West Coast cycling travellers stayed at the Harbr Hotel Konstanz. Its location was a short walkable distance or a short bus ride to Old Town and the Konstanz train station. Check-in was digital by QR code with your smart phone. The reception staff was very helpful with questions, especially navigating the local buses. We found the rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of seating. The breakfast offered a mixture of hot and cold items along with an assortment of beverages. Overall, a very pleasant hotel stay.

Overall, I had a very comfortable stay at the HARBR hotel Konstanz. The hotel is located about a 15-20 minutes walk from the station and old town and is a modern, well maintained building. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. The one quibble that I had was that the check-in process was rather convoluted, requiring you to input a lot of data/photos of ID from your mobile phone, but I got there in the end. Check-out was easy. Our room was pleasant, very bright and clean. The front desk crew were able to get us a kettle but the room lacked any sort of fridge (a very small gripe). Breakfast was included in our deal and the range and quality of the items offered was good. I would stay here again.

It’s a hotel only for locals. If you’re not German, don’t stay here. One of the receptionists was only friendly and nice to Germans; towards foreigners, he was unfriendly and had a sour face.

Really nice hotel on the edge of Allstadt. Excellent breakfast options, guest parking lot, and right across the street from a Lidl. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, cozy rooms. Modern furnishings, soft comfortable beds. Fantastic breakfast with large assortment of German and International breakfast foods. Great coffee!! Location is just off the Altstadt and 10 minute walk from the train station. Missing one star for unusable WLAN service. Also non-couples traveling together should be aware that the bathroom design doesn't allow for much privacy (see photo). Would stay here again!!

Great location. You can walk to city center and the water in 5-10 minutes. Very comfortable beds. If you are on the street side it can be loud at night in the summer with the windows open. They do not have air conditioning. However, if it is not too hot (most of the year) then the windows block out most street noise when closed. Breakfast is good, delicious unlimited espresso from a high quality WMF machine. Major complaint for me was that their WiFi was very slow and did not work on all devices.

We spent four night at this lovely hotel in May 2024. Everything was amazing! Newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds. The whole place is very clean and cozy. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Special thanks to all lovely people from the staff. We are definitely coming back here again.

After the breakfast buffet we wanted to take an apple and a small sweet pastry to our room. A member of the service team didn't let us leave by physically blocking our way out explaining this is not allowed. And this twice. Are you kidding me? I am paying 230€ for one night and I can't take an apple and a pastry?? Never again.

Nice hotel, very clean, pleasant front desk staff. We stayed on two different nights over the period of a week in two different rooms. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, and the AC didn't work in either room. I went to the front desk, and they were no help. We had two terrible nights with no sleep.

Amazing amazing amazing hotel! In the middle of the shops and cafes. U just go down and everything is under you. The rooms are super clean and spacious and brand new!!! The service is amazing the reception staff especially the Tunisian man he’s so friendly and so helpful! Beds are super comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff is also so friendly and always smiling! The Arabic / Egyptian housekeeper was super friendly. We loved the hotel so much can’t wait to be back already. Our 2nd hotel on our walking tour of Germany saw us here for 2 nights. Wonderful hotel with great hosts overlooking the rose garden - hence name! We were in the new extension at the back and rooms were lovely with shutters on windows and doors to balcony. You entered the old house first and came up a stone circular staircase but there was a lift so carrying cases wasn't a problem. Breakfast was excellent with cooked egg dishes available and the usual great array of cold meats, cheese and breads/pastries . There is a sitting room with a small array of drinks available which was very useful on our first night as there was a huge storm and we wanted to get back from our meal but weren't ready for bed 🍷🍺

We spent 3 nights at this hotel while cycling/ferrying our way around the lake. The room was lovely, the owners and staff are charming and welcoming. It’s in a great position for walking into town along the foreshore or through the gardens or both. The breakfast was delicious and there’s a pretty courtyard for tea, cake or aperitifs. Highly recommended, a really lovely property and it’s in a great spot for the walk to Sipplingen

I had the best experience staying at Hotel Villa Rosengarten. I am very particular with my hotels, usually choosing 5 star hotels. Since this was the nicest one in Uberlingen I tried it out. They spoke very good English and helped me find phone repairs, gyms and transportation. The service was warm and friend. I felt so comfortable in this lovely well decorated, meticulous hotel. In the morning when I woke up to delicious coffee and breakfast buffet set to the perfect soft music. Everything about it was a dream and I look forward to returning gain and again.
