A very nice German restaurant located right by the lake. We tried varieties of food such as maultaschen, lasagne etc. and they all tasted very decent. They also suggested us to try rosé wine from the region across and it tasted nice as well. We rounded off our lunch by ordering some amazing desserts likes tiramisu and Apfelkuchen. Perfect combination for a sunny afternoon. Ambiance is great and staffs here are very very friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because, initially I had ordered local white wine, but the staff served me rosé wine. When I told him there was a mistake in my order he offered me that rosé wine is on the house and he will get me the white wine in sometime. Unfortunately I never received it and ended up paying for the rosé. This behaviour wasn’t very polite by the staff.

Great place to have a meal, any time of the day. Make sure you call in advance though. Food is delicious and prices are normal. Good variety of drinks also available. Staff was very fast and professional, they speak English too. If you are nearby make sure you stop here!

We were staying in the attached hotel for two nights and on the first night we popped in for a quick drink. It was is busy place on a Friday, lots of university students from what I could tell. Unlike a pub in the UK we were directed to a small table in the back which was free, in about 10min got our drinks (ciders) and just chilled. Just after we finished we were asked to move as there was a big party of students coming in, not an issue since we only wanted a drink each but a bit off-putting. We did not eat the pub grub so cannot comment on it.

We have been here often times, sometimes the service is good other times not so.. but the food is always good and comes in generous serving. Sometimes they have set meal with beer, for a good price. Last Halloween was really good service from the guy server, good product knowledge and attentiveness.

We visited during our small trip to Constance. It's not exactly what you would describe as a typical Irish pub but it's not actually bad to go for a drink and pub food. The fish and chips is not something special which is more chips with a few pieces of small fish parts. I am 100% that is frozen ready made battered fish and definitely not made at the moment. We also tried the vegan burger that was quite good.

Fast service, they had football games on the tv, I ordered a Hugo that I must to say was super and small potatoes (I found out that was huge lol) a lot of tables and was clean. My husband enjoyed the big beer selection they have.

Decided to try this place. Found it severely understaffed when we went. There was just one person attending and he seemed flustered. The burgers were ok, but the buns were just half baked. They were pale white and dense and sticky inside, like those half-cooked supermarket breads that you are supposed to bake again before eating. I would have liked to ask our server to grill or toast the buns a bit, but didn't want to risk getting into an unpleasant situation..he had already told us sternly that he's alone and we are not the only customers. I also wanted some mustard, but he said they didn't have mustard (in a burger restaurant?!). The place is also cold. There is probably no heater. So we didn't take off our bulky outdoor jackets while eating. Won't go again. The temperature and treatment were both cold. I prefer the Stable Irish Pub, just nearby. Great atmosphere, but the burger is absolutely terrible. 20€ for a burger with old bread and 8,50€ for a small portion of fries is nuts. We explained that we were here for a german camp for a short time. After they took us in the main bouncer immediately kicked us out by pushing us. We did not show any aggression but they still got pretty physical. I suggest not to visit if you don’t want to deal with unreasonably racist aholes.

However I have to say I wasn’t impressed by the cocktail themselves (I’d rather have a smaller, more specialised selection but tastier!). I visited this bar last night, and it was a truly disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disinterested in serving customers. The drinks were overpriced, and the quality was subpar. The atmosphere was unpleasant, with dim lighting and a lack of any real ambiance. Einstein Bar Konstanz is an okay bar in the basement of an old building. It was pretty packed and noisy when we were there, and the music wasn’t making much of sense most of the time. The prices in alcohol were good though, cheap beers and wine.

Found this gem within its first days of opening and went back many many times since. The atmosphere is super cosy, good lighting and music is just at the right level so you can still have a conversation. Staff is very friendly like the guests who go there. Highly recommended!
