We can enjoy nice German meals and beers here in either of inside glasshouses or outside. There are relatively large tables in the room that is supposed to be an original building. Stuff is so polite and friendly. We came to here with customers 2days in a row!

The restaurant is nice, but the service terrible. We waited 20 minutes the check, and tried to pay twice with card and the posnet did not work. Therefore I payed with cash (I recommend everyone to bring cash, just in case). The food is okay, and the beer is authentic from this brewery. If the service were better, I would put 4 stars.

Service was very friendly and the location is lovely, which makes it a popular and often crowded spot. You don’t have to reserve, but it’s definitely recommended if you want to be sure to get a table. The food is solid—nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable.

Lively and popular restaurant that serve dishes around the theme of potatoes. We ordered a green salad as a starter, and thereafter, my wife took baked potatoes, and I took a dish of vegetables and a backed potatoes. The portions are generous, and the food tasted good.

Very good food. The outside seating is wonderful except we had yellow jackets constantly buzzing around us and getting in our food. Other wise, a great Sunday morning lunch.

Amazingly tasting food. Very classic German kitchen. Unfortunately the older waiter who served us really gave the vibe that he didn’t want to be there, and customers are unwanted. The younger waiter was very friendly. Overall the place was a great dining experience that was spoiled by someone who clearly hates their job.

Maybe our expectation were a bit high after reading previous reviews. Service was friendly and the food was ok. The food came out pretty fast which is an indication that things are prepared well in advance and not cooked fresh. We had to wait at least 20 minutes to pay the bill and that is after asking for it several times. If you are a non smoker you can't sit outside of any European restaurant if you want to avoid cigarette smoke.

The food here is just absurdly heavy. Maybe after a bad breakup, this is the perfect venue for self-indulgent comfort food. Otherwise, it is a completely indigestible saltfest - expect to skip the next meal. However gloopy and bland the menu may be, Tolle Knolle was the only restaurant we found which clearly shows each dish's allergens. Tolle Knolle is a nod to the potato: every dish celebrates that one ingredient in some way. The "potato pizza" has a perfectly thin, crispy base but flavourless and exceedingly salty toppings. The team is lovely: personable, professional and prompt. That's especially admirable because they are run off their feet.

Very nice located and great in summer but on a rainy day, they seem to like to try and squeeze as much tables as possible in side. We had to move our table a few times to make space for people to get through. It was very unhygienic because walking through a very thin table gap sidwards and the backside against the food, just seems to sound horrible. I had the fish fillet and they didn’t take the bones out nor fried it through so I also had probably swallowing it to realise there were bones. I was a bit disappointed.

The location is nice but it seems it’s difficult to develop a good concept for it. Owners and types of cuisines here have changed very frequently in the past few years. The service is mediocre but not terribly inattentive. The food is ok but unimpressive. The portions are on the small side but not tiny. The prices aren’t expensive but don’t feel justified. Can’t recommend the burgers. The side of fried potatoes felt like too little and came without any condiments. It’s a pity because the place is lovely and quiet all year round. The actual eating experience just never lives up to the expectations.

So we came to this place because of a search in Google. We ordered drinks and sat down, the place is really nice and it looks well. Than we ordered food and it looked delicious, but the order was wrong. They brought the wrong plate to our table, and the table on the other side of the garden had our food. Finally we had our food, the meat was good and the taste was good, ingredients where fresh and had some good flavors in it. When it came to the sweet potato fries, they where really greasy and so where my vegetables on my plate. I liked the atmosphere but I see some points of development in communication and the use of oil in the food.

Had our last drink here on Sunday night around 9ish and it was quite empty. Tried an aperol and liked it so much had 2!! He tried 2 different beers and enjoyed both. Outside seating but we were inside as getting cool.

Excellent burgers and great atmosphere. It's probably best to come here in the evening, when you can enjoy some of their liquor selection after your meal. That being said, we went there for lunch and it was great too (they even have a selection of different coke zero lol). I ate the spicy burger (forgot the name) and the habanero chillies that came with it had real fire. Recommended.

The best burger in town! Such a lovely restaurant in the city center with the beautiful German architecture building surrounded. If it's good weather the terrace is a good place to be. The menu is very varied with option for kids as well. You can choose wether regular fries or sweet potatos fries. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommended. Delicious burgers near the cathedral and the center, quiet and pleasant place...

Good for dine in but we did a quick stop and grab of some hot chocolates. Note that the drink is not sweetened and you may want to put sugar if you want your hot chocolate on the sweet side. Other than that service was good and niece was great. I could see myself actually dining in here but perhaps better for next time! Good hot drinks!

We had a really nice experience at Pano Café in Konstanz. We tried the coffee, hot chocolate, and red wine – everything was very good and nicely prepared. The café itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with well-designed interiors that make it feel cozy yet spacious. It’s a great spot for families as there’s plenty of comfortable seating. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the location. One big plus is that it’s open on Sundays, which is not always easy to find in Konstanz. The café is also super convenient, located right opposite the main train station, making it easy to reach whether you’re just arriving in town or waiting for a train. Overall, a lovely place with good drinks, nice ambiance, fair prices, and a very handy location. Definitely worth a visit!

It was a great experience. Even though the place was pretty crowded on a cold afternoon we found some spaces to have a very good coffee (loved the big cups) and tea with delicious pastry. The staff was pretty busy but they were helpful and kind (with a non-german speaker). The decoration and environment was pretty nice for an afternoon coffee with friends.

I ordered a big black coffee today and they used a big cup but put a small amount of coffee which was like a third of the cup in it. Afterwards, no matter how many times I called the service they didn't answer and I just left with the wrong coffee because I was in a hurry. Definitely not going there again. The atmosphere is nice but the service was awful!! Do not recommend!!

Great place to stop by, having good coffee, cake or other small snack. The only one negative is the service methodology. From 3 desks only one was accepting orders despite a queue of guests. If they solve this issue, then it will be the best place in town.

Highly recommended, but self service

I would definitely recommend this place. 1min from the train station and very spacious and vegan/vegetarian/Glutenfree usw. everyone could come and enjoy. you will use around 7-10€ per person for a simple lunch/dinner. They accept cards and cash.

This place is very nice, spacious and lively. The waiters here is very kind and friendly. Cake and coffee are also good.

We once strolled past the Holly's restaurant and saw how nice it looked and decided to give it a shot. We went on a Sunday before noon and my wife wanted to try the breakfast plate - which according to the menu can be ordered until noon. At 11.50am we were ready for order. But nobody came. The service was pretty slow and arrived at 12.02pm. When we ordered one breakfast plate and a Wiener Schnitzel, the waitress told us it's too late to order the breakfast as it is now past noon. When we mentioned we were waiting for the last couple of minutes we got told "we're very strict". (Note: A couple of minutes later we saw the table she took the orders from just before us, still received breakfast). So my wife had to order something else instead and chose the Satay rice. When I got the Schnitzel, I was disappointed by its size. In Germany you usually get a decent portion, this was rather small. However it tasted very good, was very tender. The presentation of the plate and also the added potato salad seemed a joke. The salad didn't feel fresh or handmade, it looked and tasted as the cheap 50 cent salad you buy in a grocery store to eat on the go. And that Wiener Schnitzel plate came with a hefty price of 20 euros. Something nice to mention however is the ambience and design of the restaurant itself. To sum it up: Nice looking restaurant but service slow and not forthcoming; food OK but far from special.

That's supposed to be a baked potato... We were speechless when this dish arrived, the other dish was better but nothing extraordinary and also our waitress was pretty rude. It's a shame, the place is very beautiful with great interiors, but I wouldn't go back, ever. The menu is quite extensive which in my opinion only means the kitchen is all over the place instead of focusing in a few dishes of excellent quality. 🤷

Nice cozy place, with some sort of mix themed interior, high ceilings lined with rusted pieces of corrugated sheets, wood plank wall, colorful tiles in the front room, and a couch in the ladies restroom. They lit a candle on our table, right under a low hanging light bulb. Some idea of aesthetics, I suppose. They serve breakfast, and other meals. The lunch, and alcohol start at 12 noon. I was surprised to find Asian dishes in the menu... Satay, Thai curry, Indian butter chicken curry, etc. The last one is prefixed with 'Slumdog Millionaire', which I I felt was unimaginative. I'm not sure how many Europeans would have heard of this Hollywood movie. Most Indians don't even like the movie. I'm sure there are better ways to name this classic and much loved dish of North India, if at all "Indian Butter Chicken curry" is not enough. Personally, I have a problem, with the word Slumdog. It's so condecending. Sorry I'm drifting away from the main point. I hope they make a good butter chicken. It was one of my favourite dishes in Delhi long ago. It's a staple in almost every North Indian restaurant, and a regular at every party, big or small. But I didn't have the heart to eat something called a Slumdog Millionaire curry. I would have certainly ordered if it was called Classic or Authentic or Rich and Creamy, North Indian butter chicken curry... something that sounds delicious and appetising. Not Slumdog... So, instead, I had a classic American burger. It came with a smallish (compared to other restaurants in Konstanz) serving of fries and a small serving of coleslaw. The burger was fine. There was a slice of pickled zucchini, a slice of tomato and sautéd onions. No raw onion slice. The burger patty was really good. The sauces were ketchup and mayo. No mustard. The burger buns were baked ok, looked pale not that nice brown bun top, and not grilled (I like grilled buns, and mustard in my burger). Service was good and professional. They had gelatoes. So I'll go again for a gelato some time.

Really good vibes and one of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The chicken tikka Masala was so creamy and flavorful whilst the salad was fresh and juicy. I was surprised that the chicken in the salad was not dry at all. Overall amazing dinner!!!

Wondered in on a Friday evening without a reservation. Sat at the bar. Everyone was welcoming. Did not have English menus but we figured it out with the help of a very friendly multi- lingual worker there. Food was simple and exceptional. Felt like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend. Wish we had time to go back.

Pura Vida in the house! A terrific night at the bar of a wonderful spot. We enjoyed the cod, crab, and the cheeses. The service was excellent.

Service was horrible and the food was so tasteless and felt like reheated! The meatballs were so dry and salty and the canary veggies were salty as well and not cooked! The dishes came randomly and they brought one tapas and then the sangria and then two more tapas and one wrong tapas! It took them 30 minuets to bring the right tapas after the wrong dish!!

Very cosy place with friendly personnel. Food was delicious and wine selection was really good. We had a perfect time and would highly recommend to anyone. We will visit again, for sure!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Konstanz. They didn't have Burritos but they had some dish called Tapas which was very tasty.

We had almost every dish on the menu and it was really good. Excellent sangria as well. The setting is really warm and has a Spanish atmosphere. Service was very friendly and efficient. I would have been happy to find this restaurant in Madrid or Barcelona.

The food here is delicious. We had the Tonic Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries. These fries warrant a clear recommendation. They are some of the best I've ever eaten. They made the outside crusty and the inside soft and very tasty. The complementary mayo has mustard in it and tastes very good, too. The Chicken Bowl is nicely balanced, with a nice mango salsa. The honey mustard is also delicious. The only minus point is the rice, which somehow is not ideal for the bowl (too coarse and a bit hard). Also, the cheese in the burger is Emmental, which gives it a very strong cheese taste. However, if you like this, it's excellent. Clear recommendation here.

Honestly, seriously mediocre. We had the lunch menu tonic burger and teriyaki chicken. No flavour, no seasoning. Basic. Felt like jar sauce used for the teriyaki chicken. Chips were sad. Flavourless potato with no salt or anything. Don't waste your calories. I will mention that the service was okay and friendly. Very disappointing.

I rarely give a bad grade but speak about ruining good meal! The service was terrible, truly terrible. It started with dropping the drinks on my partner and not being overly concerned about doing this, it continued with a stressed out waiter who couldn't wait to take away our starters nor could he be bothered to put the forks and knives correctly (for what? It was pretty empty). The worst part was completely forgetting my partner order. They served the food to my kids and me but not her. It can happen to everyone to forget but like I said, it wasn't busy and they passed by us many times, not even wondering why everyone was eating except one. When I brought this omission to their attention, they needed to ask and apparently the kitchen forgot. Sometimes you just need to switch your gears on, which evidently wasn't possible for them. At that point my partner had waited so long that she wasn't interested in eating anymore. It's so disappointing when good food is ruined by poor service. Sorry but the owner should also educate their waiter to better customer service.

I love Indian cuisine, I’ve been a lot times in India. So, it’s a really great gift to find this Indian restaurant Siddhartha in the heart of Konstanz, Germany. The food is always fresh and very delicious! Mango lassi and Chai are the best! All my family and my friends love this restaurant! Staffs are very friendly! My highly recommendation to visit and see the atmosphere. It’s like a portal in India) And I’m sure you will enjoy it!!

A good indian restaurant to try if one is willing to wait a bit for the food. There were 6 of us and they were gracious enough to give us a table without a reservation. We ordered samosa as a starter which was freshly made and served with 3 different chutneys, definitely a must try. For main course we ordered dal makhani, matar paneer, vegetable korma, tandoori roti, garlic naans and rice. Everything was delicious.

A nice Indian cuisine in the heart of konstanz city. We had dinner and Siddhartha didn't disappoint us. We tried butter chicken which was very good, chicken pakora which was average, dal tadka which was good, garlic naan which was ok, masala tea was not good, it was not fresh. Service from the staff was fantastic. Overall an average Indian restaurant. Cost was a bit towards higher side. I would recommend only if you are craving for indian food.

I usually dont write reviews but I have to for this beautiful authentic Indian restaurant in Konstanz. Their butter chicken is the best one I have had outside India and their Mango Lassi is a must. Very delicious and very nice location

We enjoyed a delightful lunch at Brasserie Colette Tim Raue, savoring the delicious food. We made a reservation a day prior. The service was excellent, and the location was very convenient. We had the onion soup, artichoke pasta, and crème brûlée, all of which were delicious and highly recommended.

The food was excellent—creative, delicious, and artfully presented. Each dish was a testament to the kitchen’s finesse, and the service matched the culinary experience with warmth and attentiveness throughout the evening. That said, in its commitment to channeling the look and feel of a Parisian brasserie, the restaurant may have gone a touch too far in replicating the aesthetic. While charming in style, the seating left much to be desired in terms of comfort. The classic small round tables, though authentic in theme, proved impractical—barely large enough to hold two dinner plates comfortably, let alone shared dishes or wine glasses. It’s a detail that slightly detracts from an otherwise wonderful dining experience.

We have been around the world and we love good food for various budgets. If you are willing to splurge a little, go to Colette and choose the chef's selection set menu. I have a new favourite chef. He challenged my palette at times and showed me completely new dishes that I absolutely loved. These are not dishes that one can forget. Our server was very knowledgeable of the wine and helped us pair with the food and accommodated our preferences of half glasses, etc. He spoiled us and deserved the 50 euro tip and then some. I can't praise this place enough and loved everything about it. Spoil yourself for meals you won't forget in a year's time. You won't regret it. BRAVO!

Overall an amazing experience. Nothing was off! If I want to find something, it’s maybe sometimes a very little lack of spices or sourness what Tim Raue is famous for. But that’s also a matter of your own taste. Highly recommended!

The absolute BEST food kitchen in Konstanz! We came here yesterday because Tuesdays is seafood day, and we were definitely exhilarated by the quality of the food which was served here, it just kept on coming better and better. In fact, it was so good that we paid each of the kitchen staff a beer afterwards, we just couldn’t get over how good this meal was. This restaurant is nowhere near the similarly rated restaurants in the same vicinity, it plays in a league on its own in Konstanz. Best kept secret 🤫

An average restaurant. We went there on a Saturday for our first drink. The chocochino was abominable. One of the worst I've ever had. On the second round, I opted for a goat's mozarrella and tomato salad. It was good, but unfortunately with not much taste of goat cheese.

Seafood Festival every Tuesday must be reserved. It was an exquisitely pleasant and sophisticated Restaurant. The ambience was amazing. Food was lovely and satisfying. If you are on a diet, it's a good place to eat here coz' their serving was just enough.

Nice little place for something small to eat or drink. Cosy places inside, lots of places outside. The dishes were great, as was the wine. The staff was great as well, welcoming and friendly.

Very interesting place. They offer a variety of small plates which were all delicious. Unfortunately as far as I understood today was the last day of this menu, but I'm sure the new one will be just as good. Shown here are the salmon ceviche, filo pastry with marinated artichokes, and strawberry tiramisu. Not pictured here, we also had the Sommerwein, golden apple, and Quincy Joe. Loved everything.

I can't forget how nice the staff was and the place was clean. But for me, the burger wasn't anything special especially for it's price and though we ordered double burger, it was still normal size. Got me thinking how the normal size would then be. I also didn't like that they're was flies as we were eating, therefore the 4 star. But overall a nice place.

Food there was lovely. I and my girlfriend, both got the Chuck Norris Burger with fries. Bit expensive, came to €42 for two burgers with chips and a ice tea each. It's decorated nicely. Understaffed. Took us about 45 mins for the waitress to take our order. Which was not her fault because she had to greet people as they came in to the restaurant.. More service staff, and I probably would have given this place 5 stars. Anyway, I'll be back. I do recommend this place.

Please teach your staff how to be less rude with the visitors, that’s disgusting. We came in and waited for some time. After no one came to us, we decided to sit ourselves as the room was almost empty. Once we sat down the waiter said that we MUST wait and demanded that we go back to the entrance refusing to come to our table. Once we came back to the entrance he schooled us that we have to wait and rudely said that the kitchen is already closed. To this we turned away and left.

This restaurant offers really good food at an affordable price. The ambience is also good, enjoy the time there. I would recommend this restaurant.

We arrived during lunch time when it wasn't so crowded, had 2 snitzels. Definitely the turkey one is the best choice. Atmosphere and service was great. Would visit a second and third time definitely. They had a smaller meniu in English but it was nice of them to have it

The foods were all good. Highly recommended. The lighting in indoor table was a little bit dark.

We loved the place very much. The food in total was great. My steak was really good, came in a sizzling stone plate and the fresh fries was proper, not overcooked or very commercialised taste. The burger can be changed, maybe, because the bun was big and the patty was small, and it's not proportion. But the taste was really good. Worth the prices, a must-visit restaurant when in Konztanz. The service was good and friendly. The at is super cool, I liked the concept.

This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and we've always been so well received. The typical German atmosphere. The decor, mainly made of wood, gives an extremely warm atmosphere. The portions of the dishes are super generous and very delicious and very fair price. We will come back for sure.

Local restaurant with some surprisingly good dishes awaiting you to enjoy. Menu is in German. Flammkuchen is always a star of the evening but I can recommend you also the Guglehans Salad, various steaks and local beer. Enjoy!

This is a seriously good place. The staff is nice, Foods are between swiss and schwabisch (kraut) cuisine. I recommend the bier of the house! Brilliant!!!

I stopped by Burro Burro in Konstanz back in 2018 while crossing from Switzerland into Germany. I wasn’t expecting much, but the burrito was so good it completely surprised me. Definitely a spot I’d love to return to someday.

After a long day of walking and eating nothing but a coffee , finally decided to stop to eat something and by impulse I stoped by Burroburro , I asked for a beef burrito and ice tea , and went to sit outside ,it was raining a lot and I think it made the time i was there better , the inside of this small fast food restaurant looks tropical and cool the outside has some large wooden tables , the people in there where great delivered the food fast ,since I'm not big fan of mexican food ,but love beens and some beef , the wrap I got was very tasty even the sweet potato fries where great.

Burritos are absolutely recommended and the location/ambiance is really nice with possibility of sitting outside. If you are a meat eater, I would recommend ,beef’ burrito 🌯

Sorry but after the remodeling, the quality fell horribly, portions got smaller, the personnel extremely rude, at least the tanned cashier old woman, and they don't bring the food to your table anymore and you can't order the food with the cashier???
