The food is OK, Nothing massively special but not a disappointment either. You can generally get in when the rest of Fort William is absolutely rammed and they have a couple of nice beers on tap. Service is OK although the staff are clearly rushed off their feet so don't expect attentive. Overall, not bad if you can't get in elsewhere.

The food was mediocre at best. My fish and chips was a very thin piece of fish that was dry and over cooked. The hamburger was more similar to meatloaf in flavor and had very little moisture. The staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was a little sterile seemed like the wanted to capture the tourist market but with providing very little effort beyond putting an open sign.

We ordered the **Soup of the Day**, which today was **mushroom soup**. I chose the **baguette** as a side—the bread was wonderfully soft, and the mushroom soup was **delicious and comforting**. Highly recommend the soup; it was **perfect for relieving fatigue**. We also got a **beef pie**—the meat was **tender and slow-cooked**, seasoned just right, and the **flaky pastry paired beautifully with the rich gravy**. Additionally, we tried their **craft beer**, which had **a great balance of maltiness and fruity notes**—definitely worth a try! The **dining atmosphere was pleasant**, though the **service was a bit slow**. Still, the food was **worth the wait**!

Came here ahead of participating in the Rat Race Sea to Summit Ben Nevis. What an absolute find. Sat upstairs in the restaunt area and the bar area downstairs was quite busy, a great atmosphere in both areas. Staff were polite and attentive. The food was delicious, cant recommend the Wild Boar and Haggis burger enough and the chutney was superb (could have done with a little more though). Nice selection of ales as well. Would highly recommend

We went with our family a couple weeks ago. I did phone up to see if we could book but it was pretty much just walk ins. We got a table. They are dog friendly and the food was fantastic. Nice to have a kids menu. Decent price. Our server was lovely. 🥰

Cozy place, perfect for a stop during a day tour. Enjoyed our food. Unfortunately the lady with black hair wasn’t friendly and gave dirty looks. Luckily we had a very friendly blond girl who helped us with takeaway when we had to go after waiting 30min for our food.

The best restaurant we ate at on our trip to Scotland. We arrived late, after 2 p.m., but the entire menu was available. There were many gluten-free options, and all the dishes we ordered were delicious, especially the haddock soup and the chicken with haggis. The waitress was very attentive

I can't comment on the rooms but I can sure comment on dinner. The atmosphere was fun and the food delicious! But the service was just fabulous! We just spent 25 days in Scotland eating out all over Scotland and the waitress we had at the Ben Nevis Inn was by far and away the best! And we had some excellent service! If you in Fort William find this place for dinner and go!

Location….. stunning, epic views. Tiny road to get too, but worth it. Hikers base to get to top of mount here. So parking is a bit tight along the road. The building is cute, looks like some reconditioning is going on currently , (10/25) Inside is a wonderful old hall, small bar, and bunch of tables. The food was wonderful, I chose chicken and haggis, it was great. The gravey was wonderful , and loved it all, cleaned the plate. Another in our party got the exact plate, and cleaned his as well. My wife got cajon chicken, bit spicey for me , but delicious nonetheless. We were part of a group 17 in all, not a single person left hungry or disappointed. And in total the bill, $375 for everyone!! I think we left $50 for our portion, with a tip. Well worth it.

This is actually a review for the Ben Nevis pub/restaurant. Fantastic food and incredibly friendly service in a 200-year-old converted barn. The Cullen Skink may be the best soup we've ever tasted! Great spot for lunch, dinner, or a casual pint after a long (or short) hike. Highly recommended!!

This was the highlight of our trip! The food is some of the best I have ever had - The Cullen Skink is insane. We went on a Thursday evening and got a lovely surprise to find out they have a folk band that play there from 9pm. The atmosphere of the place was fantastic throughout our visit and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to go back again!

Nice enough pub, lovely staff and decent beers. Nothing amazing but certainly not bad either, wouldn't go out of my way to go back for a drink but definitely worth stopping in if you're passing, especially if you've just finished the walk back from Ben Nevis. *Not dog friendly, be aware if you have your dog with you you'll have to sit outside

Warm Service & Fantastic Fresh Food We came without a reservation and were welcomed with genuine warmth. The waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they found us a great table with perfect service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish was a delight. I highly recommend the venison burger, delicious!! A truly memorable dining experience. Unfortunately we discovered it only on our last evening in the area. Otherwise, we would have come more than once. We’ll definitely be back!

Good pub experience today after the daily hike. Classic pub feeling. Table service. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. They gave good suggestions for food. I’d the haggis beeps and tatties as the starter, followed by the roasted lamb (special of the day). They have a couple of nice local beers. I finished off with a whisky recommended by the nice waiter – the highlight of the meal for me.

Beautiful lil pub, with a welcoming environment and friendly staff, was quiet when we first entered but soon filled up quickly as lunch time approached. Food was served quickly and was perfect temperature, with amazing taste, just what we needed during our time in the pub. Would 100% recommend popping in for dinner or lunch if your in the local area 🫶🏾

We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, we tried the Craft burger and the venison burger — both were delicious. On our second visit, I couldn’t resist ordering the Craft burger again, and my partner went for the chicken burger. Both burgers were excellent, and the staff were kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

We were on an trip to watch the viaduct and stopped here to have lunch. First, there were no tables available but we asked him and the guy set one for us. The venison burger were so good and they were quick serving us the food. Nice service! I would love to be back

My visit to Crofters Pub Restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish. After a day of exploring the stunning scenery around Glenfinnan, this was the perfect place to relax and refuel. I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my meal. What truly set Crofters apart for me was how they welcomed not just me, but my four-legged companion. It's not always easy to find places that are genuinely dog-friendly, but here they went above and beyond to make sure my dog was as comfortable and happy as I was. A big thumbs-up for that! And the food? Absolutely top-notch. Every dish was beautifully prepared, packed with flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It was hearty, delicious, and exactly the kind of satisfying meal you hope for in the Highlands. I can't recommend Crofters enough. Whether you're a local or a visitor, with or without a furry friend, you're guaranteed a fantastic meal and exceptional service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Tried veggie haggis yesterday and honestly it was absolutely delicious! ✨ The flavours were rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced, a hearty Scottish classic with a great vegetarian twist.

The veggies soup and carbonara are delicious. Staff is friendly and smart. They enabled us to have a proper lunch within an hour.

5 Stars. Food: The food was delicious. The two types of meals my family ordered were fish-and-chips and cod. The meals were large, and only one of us finished the full meal. We also ordered squid rings that came with a special sauce for a starter. It was good, no doubt about that. Service: The waiters were good. It took a little while for the servers to take our orders and for the food to get to us, but other than that the service was great! Atmosphere: The ambiance of the place was wonderful! The chairs were comfortable and the decorations added to the charm.

This was a wonderful experience in our short visit to Fort William. All the food was really tasty. Oysters absolutely fresh. The scallops, cooked to perfection. The seafood tagliatelle, was rich, full of seafood and the seasoning was spot on. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Recommended to reserve a table. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our meal at Crannog at Garrison West! We had the special of the day with lobster and mussels in a creamy sauce—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The creamy fish chowder starter was rich and delicious, and the dessert tart with brown butter, pistachio, and rhubarb was so unique and tasty. Cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, and great value for money. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Fort William!

when choosing this restaurant we were skeptical as there were some mixed reviews but after going there everything changed. The service was awesome, the food was delicious. We tried Oysters for the 1st time and I loved it there. Going to this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. This place is worth the hype it gets.

Great bar in the centre of the town and middle of the high street. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is good. Toilets are downstairs, but clean. Nice decor and warm atmosphere too. Decent prices too

No food but popped in twice on our day trip to Fort William. A very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere pub.

For an old British pub with a neat history, I was sad to see that the interior has lost all the atmosphere of a old pub and didn't have any real ale on tap. Otherwise, it was a decent place for a pint.

What a decent pub, we popped in to have a late drink after travelling all day and there was karaoke and so many people having a great time on a Wednesday night, great atmosphere and we had a great time too! thankyou volunteer!

Good restaurant with a good menu and friendly service. The burger was good, but not great. Inside it is a little too dark for our liking. It gets packed on weekdays in the evening with a queue outside. Overall a solid spot.

Been there at 5.30pm on Monday, waited for 30mins for a table. The sea bass tastes good and fresh but fish portion is small. The sweet potato and salad is a good balance of the dish, a healthy pick if comparing to fish and chips. Some people detour to the Ben Nevis Bar and Restaurant for dinner right opposite, instead of standing outside to wait for the table, where is in high rating as well. The staff are friendly and caring. It didn’t take long for the dishes to serve.

Great atmosphere, service, and flavours. Fish n chips, the way I most enjoy them, very much like where I grew up in Western Australia where the battery is neat and thin. A tiny mix of salad came with the fish n chips and the ingredients varied a lot yet tasted very refined, having a great flavour together in big bites. The chips/fries were perfectly made as well. The chicken tenders salad was also great though I would have skipped on that main sauce they put on it after they plate it. The decorations were fun to be around and brought extra coziness. Staff were great and worked very fast. Food came very fast too. It was packed on this Friday evening around 7.30pm but we were the first in line for a table so it was a short 5 minute wait for some table to be available.

We got the salmon salad and fish and chips. Both were good, but I’m taking off a star because the menu and waitress didn’t mention that the salmon on the salad was cold. When ordering salmon salads, I’ve always received the salmon hot, so it was unexpected for it to be cold.

We stumbled upon Geographer by chance three years ago while visiting Fort William for hiking, and after just one dish we knew there was no need to look elsewhere for dinner. The à la carte menu is small but perfectly thought out, excellent fish and chips, delicious mussels, and so much more. I still dream about their Eton Mess, and the sticky toffee pudding is just as amazing. I also had probably the best lobster and langoustines of my life here. We came back three years later and nothing has changed – still absolutely banging. All in all, Geographer has become my absolute favorite spot in Fort William.

Super friendly staff, great food. Only downside was the 30min we had to wait outside in the rain. Due to the wind the rain cover was only of limited help. But once we were inside it was all worth it 👌

Great experience! We had to queue for a while as it was so popular, but well worth the wait for 4. We enjoyed the steak, chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, calamari, burrata, and soup of the day. We were so full and content we couldn’t order any dessert. I loved their huge map on the wall showing where people have visited from! We added a pin too!

Visited after a walk up and over Cow Hill on a very hot day. This was a lovely oasis of calm, with cold local lager and great food. I had the baked potato with haggis in whiskey sauce, delicious! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend visiting this lovely establishment, and the setting around it is truly beautiful.

We had a wonderful lunch experience at Glen Nevis Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried both the Nevis Burger and the Chargrilled Chicken B.L.T. Burger — both were absolutely delicious! The beef patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and the chicken burger had a perfect balance of fresh lettuce, and a tasty chutney. What made our visit even better was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and provided excellent service with a smile. You could tell they genuinely cared about the guest experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a relaxed lunch with a great view and even better service. Definitely a highlight of our time in the area!

Had food and drink here (in the bar, not restaurant) twice when we stayed at the campsite. First night was a busy Friday night and the food was genuinely really good, way better than we expected 2nd night on the Saturday we ate a bit earlier just before 5 and the quality was definitely not the same at all, went from an 8/9 out of 10 down to a really standard 5/10, not sure if because of different cooks or what but massively different experience. Either way the beer was great, the service was fantastic and the pub itself is great. Would still roll the dice and eat here again if I was up here, worth a try cos if you get the good stuff it's really good Definitely stop here for food and drink 👍🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Over the last three week I have been in the area on a course, the food and atmosphere hear is that good I believe last night was my 9th time dining at the restaurant. Dog friendly in the bar. And have a separate dining area that I believe you have to book.

We where up in fort William for a couple of days,and we came across this great place by accident. The food was really tasty and fresh,the service was impeccable. Could not do enough for you. The view was outstanding also,we where at the side of Ben Nevis. It was a great find

Really good food for not silly money. Ideal place to eat if you're on the campsite but worth a look even if you're not. We had the steak and it was good, saw several other generous and tasty looking dishes coming out while we were there. Some good beers on tap too.

Most devine food - ranges among the best we’ve ever had! Everything was to die for and the compositions excellent! Location was super cute on the Loch. We wish we had stayed longer in Fort Williams to be able to eat here again!

Lovely location and stunning views. It was tied with The Coast in Langbank as best meal I have had in Scotland. The dessert was the tastiest dessert I have ever had in my lifetime. Drinks came after appetisers but waitress was very sweet. Wish they had a cheaper lunch menu as the meal ends up being very expensive for lunch as it is the same one as dinner.

I don’t actually like fish but my husband does and he absolutely adored his food! He got the chowder and the monkfish and loved it! I went for the veggie options which were yum, the croquettes to start and the tart for main. They do a really good gin called Neptune’s Staircase, try it with Pomegranate and Elderflower Bottle green. Really nice evening and really nice place!! Oh and the walnut and honey cake is so good! Not too much or too sweet at the end of a meal!

The most amazing dinner out here tonight in front of the best scenery. Staff all super lovely and friendly, very understanding of allergens, food was brilliantly tasty and very reasonably priced.

We were very lucky to get a table at this incredibly popular location! Right on the water with a great view and the food was absolutely delicious, a great end to a day's trek up Ben Nevis! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We had the Cullen Skink for starter and mussels and lemon sole for mains, with a side of broccoli, all fantastic! All in all, a great experience that is not to be missed 👌🏼

Crannog - 100% excellent - food outstanding, service - second to none, restaurant set-up, views and ambiance - perfect. You will need to book ahead for this very popular eatery. Although very busy, you will experience personal and attentive care from the waiting staff, a vibrant though quiet restaurant and melt-in-your-mouth food. The menu has a wide selection with everything cooked with fresh and local ingredients and to a very, very high standard. I am sorry that I did not take any photos of our meal - but do go this easily missed excellent seafood restaurant. Shout out to Angie and Naomi who went above and beyond to ensure we had a special time (I think this is their priority for all diners!)

The salmon was absolutely fantastic. The best cooked salmon I ever had. My congratulations to the chef. All the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I particularly didn't like the garnish combination for the hake, but the fish was very well prepared and with care.

Made a quick pit stop here for lunch but the food was sooo bad. It was pretty packed with tourists so food took a while to be served. We were confused by the chicken katsu curry, where no part of the chicken was fried. The sourdough Margherita pizza was just frozen pizza dough with an abysmal amount of cheese on top.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but my experience here was so disappointing that I feel it's necessary to warn others. My friends and I visited this restaurant, excited to try the food, but our experience quickly soured. First, when my friend asked the server about the papadam, We noticed it wasn't fried properly. It was soggy and undercooked, which completely ruined the flavor. Instead of addressing our concern politely, the servers were incredibly rude and arguing we were rude to them when my friend was just asking for a replacement. They acted like we were bothering them and didn’t even try to make it right. It was really frustrating because we are not asking for something unreasonable—We just wanted a simple fix! The attitude of the staff was appalling, and it completely overshadowed whatever potential the food had. Customer service is such an important part of the dining experience, and unfortunately, this restaurant completely dropped the ball. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There's no excuse for treating customers so poorly, especially when it's over something as minor as a cooking issue

Got an American burger and it was a frozen patty. Not a fresh packed one. The chips were good. Remember. You have to order at the bar and have a table number ready when you order. So figure out how to be in two places at once.

Good food and price, but not the quickest option if you're with a tour bus, as it's always full of groups. There are vegetarian and vegan options. I ordered a vegetarian brunch, and it was delicious, especially the sausages. Ordering can be tricky for not tech-savvy people, you need to scan a qr code or download the app and pay online.

Clean and quiet spoons. Has a selection of Scottish beers etc on offer, in a very convenient area as you arrive onto high street

A standard Wetherspoons. No frills they’ll leave you alone to drink and eat whilst you dry off a little from the Scottish wet weather. 🌦️. Toilets are up stairs as you’d always expect 🤣

Quite terrible experience. It reminded me why you don’t go to places with a too various menu. The chips were stale and flaccid, the onion rings were cold like they didn’t even bother leaving them in the frier. The chicken nuggets were soggy too. The burger was burnt but not in a positive way, just left on the heat for too long. The only decent item was the chicken burger but one out of five is not enough.

We settled for this place when looking for some food after a full day out. It was busy and we had a short wait before being taken to our table. The food was fantastic so full of flavour and I would definitely come back here if I get the chance. The service was great from all the staff who served us. They also had live music later on but we did not get a chance to stay long enough to see. The views from the terrace are fantastic but the food is the star here.

What an amazing little gem in centre of Fort William!! We were recommended to go this bar by our hotel receptionist, and boy was she right! I don't think I ever seen this many different whiskies in one place! On the second night there, my partner and I both tried different, and it was deeeelicious! And I'm not a whiskey drinker. Food was to die for! Freshly made from definitely fresh ingredients, tasty, melt on the mouth. The people working there are amazing, friendly, and soooo nice! The first night we had fish and chips as it was Friday. Dah! Perfectly crispy, although chips could have stayed in a frier another couple of minutes. Second night I had chicken, and my partner had pie. Out of this world my chicken!! Definitely recommend coming here, even if it means waiting for a table or food. It's well worth of waiting.

We arrived late at the hotel, so there was no room in the restaurant, so several pubs were recommended to us. Looking for a restaurant, we saw The Ben Nevis Bar & Restaurant which attracted us and we immediately entered. The friendly staff welcomed us, but we couldn't sit down right away, it was crowded, so it was recommended that we go to the bar and have a drink until a place is ready. We didn't wait long, the table was ready. The food was excellent (Fish & Chips). The staff and the atmosphere are fantastic. How satisfied we were that the last evening in Fort William we decided to come to The Ben Nevis Bar & Restaurant again and have dinner. We also really liked the live traditional Scottish music that the group performed. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place if they have the opportunity 😀

Totally underrated bar/restaurant. We went there every day during our stay at Fort William because the food was just a dream. It was full every time and we had to wait in the nice bar, which was no problem at all and worth every second. The food was a pure feast for the palate. The starters were excellent and main dishes as well. The staff was super nice and asked several times if everything fits or we needed something else. Would recommend 10/10!

Was able to get in around 5pm without a reservation, but as we were leaving there was a flurry of people coming in. The atmosphere inside was relaxed. I got the seafood sampler as my main which came with mussels in a creamy white wine broth, smoked fish pate, fried fish, bread and sauce. Enjoyed the seafood, especially the mussels, though I would have preferred a nicer bread to soak up the broth and spread the pate onto. For dessert, I wanted to try the cranachan sundae, having never had cranachan. Inside was oats, berry compote, clotted cream (I think), ice cream and whipped cream. It was all excellent! My vegetarian friend enjoyed her veg burger. I felt the waitress was a little bit standoffish. Food came out in a reasonable timeframe.

Booked a table for dinner with only a few hours notice and very glad we did, as when we got there, it was packed! Service and food were prompt, and all meals were delicious. I particularly liked the veggie pie, nice to have something a little different.

We went in with high hopes and although the service was good but the food was plain average for the price. The vibe of the pub is great but the food quality is not justified for these prices. The venison lasagna in particular was quite disappointing because there were no layering (no lasagna sheets) and it felt like cheese topping on some meat.

We ended up here unexpectedly because the place we originally wanted to go to was closed. Although it was quite busy, we were still able to get a table for two. Service was quick and friendly. The only downside was that our drinks arrived after the food, and the amount of whisky we received seemed a bit small. That said, the food was absolutely delicious, and the dessert was both generous and very tasty. We have no regrets about dining here!

Had lunch here during a stop on our bus tour of the Highlands, and we were really impressed with the quality of the food. The place was almost empty when we arrived so service was very speedy. It was only a short walk from where our bus parked/departed so it’s a great location but most of the others from our tour didn’t go that far down the street so they missed out on this gem! We had plenty of time to enjoy our meal and get back to the bus with time to spare.

We stopped by here for a quick lunch and it was decently busy. We were sat at a sticky table that no one bothered cleaning. After ordering the cullen skink, we got 2 forks, 2 knives and just 1 napkin, all scrunched up - see the picture. Now I'm not one to complain about the table not being arranged perfectly, but this was hilariously bad, so -2 stars for that. The cullen skink was very tasty and actually arrived before our drinks, which again is silly, so -1 star again. The food was good, but the service although friendly was really bad so I would only recommend coming here if you're in a very tolerant mood. As for management - come on guys, you need to get the very basics of service right.

Good steak pie with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely amazing! Nice place and nice service.

We came across this place by chance and we were really impressed with the quality of the food. From soup to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious and well cooked. The haggis, which I have only tried once before and didn’t like, was so tasty and completely different. My friend had Balmore chicken and I only tried a bit, but regretted I didn’t order it myself. And you must really try Baileys Bread and butter pudding (with cream and ice cream). Soooooo delicious! A shout out for the staff as well. We had a very warm welcome and a great service. This place is 100% worth a visit. We will definitely return when next around. ❤️❤️ Highly recommend the place!

The Haggis-Burger was the best Burger i ever Had and the best food in i Had the whole UK The Atmosphere ist nice, the toilets very Clean and the stuff is lovely. Perfekt score

A good location for spending some time with kids or friends. The bowling place is fun and also provides the possibility to buy drinks. I liked that they had some special support for launching the ball when playing with young children, as obviously they cannot throw it, but they can slide it on that frame, like a marble game ball. The Cafe has very few options to eat, a few cakes that aren’t made on the spot, some coffee (though not great taste) and snacks. The seating area has about 30 seats, mostly on tables with chairs, but also a couple of couches. Decent prices for everything, but they could work a little on the quality and service. I was never impressed about the service. They lack a simple free smile. Same for the softplay area for kids. No smiles at all, ever, and I’ve been here many times. I didn’t like at the softplay the fact that it is always a little cold, but mostly in the winter. Another thing about the top side of the softplay, is that they don’t switch on the lights at all times, and they aren’t with sensors for movement. My son doesn’t feel too comfortable in the semi dark areas there. On the entrance at the softplay, there are tables with seats for about 25 people. I wish they wouldn’t allow the food from outside or the Cafe to be consumed here. The entrance price for kids is up to £5, per session, depending on age. The toilets are okay, but at times they may be a little messy, because of the volume of people using them.

There's a great café in here. Dog friendly and delicious food. Kids play centre too and public toilets.

Thus is my first time at this soft play centre with my grandkids as up on holiday. I didn’t realise that u had to pre-book a session, however the manager allowed us to enter and stay between session. Amazing play centre. Spotlessly clean but what makes it better is the phenomenal staff. So polite, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this centre to all. Thank u

The place to go if you are in need of a soft play in Fort William. Quiet, spacious, friendly staff, I wish we had something like this closer to home. The play areas are exceptionally well stuffed for infants and toddlers, even the batteries are refularly changed in the toys and 95% of stuff was working, that took me by surprise. The other areas were awesome as well. The train and sitting area in the upper level are excellent. Just like the slides, sensory room etc.

Attended the Pink Floyd Scotland concert. The venue looked excellent, the band were very very good. The bar staff were superb, well done to all involved in making this happen.

Lovely little cafe, great to just stop foir a breather. I am usually here fir meetings, good meeting rooms, reasonably priced. They are also dog friendly, have taken Misty my therapy dog in many times, one of the staff put down a bowl of water for her during the summer, this is what impresses me.. Very customer focused. 😀 The bowling alley is quite popular, several years since I have used it, must go again! 🚶‍♂️

If you're looking for good food (and large portions) more than ambience, this is the place for you. Good mixed menu - do try the veggie haggis bites. Very tasty.

Food cooked to order in a relaxed atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Sure beats Wetherspoons been on a bain marie for an hour greasy offerings. The hot chocolate is almost as good as my homemade!

Sorry for my long feedback but I have to tell my personal very annoying, terrible experience with their customers service!!! This morning, Sunday 13th September 2020, me and my gf wanted to enjoy the bar to get a breakfast. We walked up through the stairs after the main entrance on the street, we reached the upper floor and we stayed in a kind of "waiting area" in front of the bar entrance where we supposed to wait someone from the staff to welcome us and give us a table. There was another guy alone before us, he was waiting to get a table as well, so we have been very careful to keep 2 meters distance from and behind him and, of course, we were already wearing our masks as required. Nobody came to receive us instead we have been almost VERBALLY ASSAULT FOR NO APPARENTLY REASONS from one woman of the staff who sneaked up behind us. She is a skinny woman on 50ish age with glasses. She was very rude, absolutely unpolite, she almost shouted against us like a military boss who gives loudy strong orders. She said we were occupying the space where the customers suppose to transit between the shop, the bar and the main entrance to/from the street. Unfortunately there was NO OTHER AREA where we can wait and ask for a table!!! We were waiting just in front of the entrance of the bar respectful of all distance and rules and, I am sorry, we don't have the wings to fly two meters upon everyone. So that was the only one place available for temporary wait and get a table. That's it!! I looked this woman she was clearly angry and nervous and I was almost shocked while I was looking her behaviour. I didn't say anything, I didn't want to start an argument in a public place and for a moment I thought what it would've happened if instead of a quiet couple like us there was a group of 4/5 people or worst a big family. I just took my girlfriend's hand and encourage her to leave that place straight away. I got out on the street and I felt very annoyed and angry for long time. I needed to smoke a cigarette to try to calm down. Then we walked forward along High Street less than 50 meters and we got immediately a table in another local pub at the next corner. We were served from a very friendly, funny waiter, we enjoyed amazing Scottish breakfast and we left for him a good tip for his sympathy and great attitude with customers. Tomorrow definitely we'll come again to the same pub. For all our holiday period we'll spend in Fort William, despite we get currently an accomodation close to the Cobbs Cafè, we'll definitely avoid to come again in this place. I just want to suggest to the Cobbs Cafè manager to improve/re-organized the area where the customers suppose to ask and wait for a table... or.... More easily... CHANGE THE PERSON IN CHARGE to manage the bar entrance because it's evident that woman is not able to communicate with customers and manage the situation in a busy day.

Friendly . Good coffee......having made frequent return visits and bringing visiting family in for a lunch or a coffee. I love it!. Its clean , newly vamped with a nook round a new fire and a bookcase . The cafe staff are always polite and I find the food filling and wholesome. Just had their seasonal turkey, chipolata and cranberry panini. And I suggest trying their white chocolate hot chocolate. X fab job guys

So we came here for a meal and a drink on an off season weekend. Nevertheless the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was great, a good choice of beer and whisky and all at a very reasonable price. I'd go there again.

Had spotted the place the previous evening and thought it looked worth investigating and very glad we did. Pizzas were absolutely fabulous and the 3 different beers I had were all very good too. 2 seating levels plus outside area. Beer wasn't cheap but it's not mass produced and the quality was well worth it. Service was good and would have no hesitation recommending it.

Fantastic little find in Fort William. Excellent value - for 2 pizzas & 2 glasses of wine only £41. Food came really quickly & really nice pepperoni pizza with a tasty passata base. I don’t like cheese on a pizza - no problem. We went around 5:45 on a Wednesday night. Definitely recommend a visit & the prices are extremely reasonable. Park near the marina & it’s a 5 minute walk.

Great tap room with pizza. Range of their own beers is extensive with some guests also. Pizza is first rate! Best I’ve had for a while.

What an awesome find in Fort William, we went there twice in a row because we loved the vegan pizza so much! Also the atmosphere is really cozy and fun! Highly recommend the pizza, it is the best vegan pizza we’ve ever had!

Probably usual around here but you need to order food from the counter when you dine in pizza. That's ok but as a place with an extensive selection of beers you have to walk to the other end of the bar to see any type of drink list from the screens. There's only pizza list available at the counter. Pizza was mediocre at best and at the price of £16. Tomato sauce is quite dominant in all pizzas and all pizzas has as little cheese as possible. Some slices are almost completely without cheese. I would say a frozen pizza from a supermarket with few additional cheese slices could be even better. Overall the bar looked good and we enjoyed sitting there with drinks. They had their own decent gin too. So good for drinks, not so good for pizzas!

Well worth a visit if you’re in Fort William. Great beers, lovely, tasty pizzas and buzzing atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming bar staff. We ate early around 1700 so easily found a table. Reckon it gets busier later on . Would definitely return.

Great place to sit and watch the world go by and all the walkers completing the West Highland Way. Only a handful or beer on tap when I was visiting, but it was definitely quality over quantity. Pizza's were great too.

Lovely place for a good burger or pizza. You can watch old footage of Scotland while you eat. Nice decor, friendly. Please offer us desert or give a heads up before you close the kitchen ;)

Serving delicious pizza, mine was the chicken, bacon and haggis. Apologies for not tipping your great service and pizza, haven't needed or been able to tip for sometime and was not expecting a tip prompt when paying the bill but was well deserved.

Very good garlic flatbread, the place is super cosy and its location inside the cinema is perfect. The staff is so nice too, I'll come back again next time in Fort William.

Fun place to grab a quick bite. Large tables and benches so you can come with a crowd or just a couple. Food was good and served quickly. Great service with a smile. We had pizza and nachos and the brownie with ice cream for dessert. All very yummy.

Lovely little picture house. Enjoyed the film. Plenty of leg room. Toilets very nice and quirky. We didn't have anything to eat but I'm sure it would be very tasty.

Lovely small theater with two screens. The ticket line is also the concessions line, so plan ahead if you are running late? Projection and sound quality was very good and the seats are comfy recliners (although no footrest in ours). Assigned seating and a nice pub out front. Very much a part of the town.

It started off fine the person who seated us was friendly and cleared a table for us so we didn’t have to share a bench. From there on it felt like the staff didn’t want to know, they all hid behind the bar or in the kitchen and even if you made direct eye contact they didn’t come over to you. Considering less than a quarter of the tables were full, I would have expected better from the 3-4 serving staff there. After my main I sat for over 20 minutes trying to make eye contact to order dessert and only when someone waved their arm around to get attention did anyone emerge from behind the counters. When I went to pay I used cash and with the look the sever gave me, you’d have thought I just killed their pet. All I can say for the place is that the food is good, even if they have reduced the portion size of the nachos.
