Condominium complex
Poipu Shores is a waterfront complex offering 1- to 3-bedroom condos with fully equipped kitchens, an outdoor pool, and BBQ facilities. Situated in Koloa (Poipu), it provides easy access to Poipu Beach and Brennecke Beach. Guests can enjoy recreational activities like tennis and take advantage of amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, picnic areas, and free parking.
The most beautiful view from the room. We saw 3 pods of whales 🐋, dolphins from the patio. Poipu beach 10 min by walking has the green turtles comes to the beach to rest. A little noisy of the waves. There are laundry and dryer, so it is a plus.

The location and family were great, but service was sub-par. We paid $700/night for the townhouse rental for a family of 6. They charged $80/a day for housekeeping, but we were told they only clean after we checkout. While we are staying, we had to put our used towels in a bag by the front door and call for housekeeping to swap them out the next morning. We called in for a swap and put our towels in bags as directed for pickup 9a the next morning. However, we left the room early and were out all day without cell phone range. When we came back to shore around 7pm, we saw that we had received a text message at 5:40pm asking if our towels were ready for pickup and to respond within 15 mins since tbe office was closing. Unfortunately. That evening g, we ended up using t-shirts as towels since we had o clean ones. Other than that. We were right by the water, and it was amazing to sleep by the ocean waves and also saw sea turtles swimming outside our window.

One of the most amazing places. Beautiful location, and the room was awesome! The only thing that surprised me, since I didn't book the room, was the one I stayed in did not have AC. I managed but would have preferred it.
Ryan B — Google review
Amazing location! We were able to stay here the last 2 nights of our month in Kauai, it was a last minute decision to come back down south and this is where we found availability. So glad it worked out. Absolutely incredible views and nature's best sound machine at night. Pool was amazing and the customer service was so great, we would absolutely stay again. Walking to the beach isn't too far in distance but it's a little harder with kids as there's not many ways to get off of the road on the way down, but it's doable if you don't want to drive.
Bryn S — Google review
Not really any "service", we had an Airbnb for a week, so you're mostly on your own, but there is a local number and office for any assistance you need. The patio with the waves crashing against the rocks and spraying up in the air was wonderful and very relaxing. Unfortunately, I didn't get a single photo inside the place, only from the patio.
Josh G — Google review
We absolutely loved staying here!!! Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location right on the ocean was spectacular!!! We saw tons of sea turtles swimming around. I can't wait to come back!
Coreena K — Google review
The location of these rooms absolutely cannot be beat. The guaranteed view of the surfing turtles from the pool balcony is enough to come here, alone. I don't know how we got so lucky with our booking. Our last night was clear, so I set out a towel to look at the stars from our downstairs lanai. Pictures will never do the place justice. I so enjoyed being able to watch the turtles surf every single morning without fail while I drank my coffee on the upstairs lanai. It makes the trip feel very magical and ethereal. Would come back here again and again and again.
Jessica Z — Google review
Great place to stay for ocean view and listening to crashing of the waves, turtle, dolphin sighting etc. Definitely amazing views! Very therapeutic! Also a good and beautiful walk , using back ways, to poipu main beach area. We stayed in 204A. Laundry machine in the unit was broken, but the cleaning team were nice and offered to give us one complimentary wash. Our only cons was (1) Parking could be better - based on how the parking space is, its easy to get hit and at times, we struggled to get out to road in a reasonable time (2) sometimes, good breeze from ocean came in but honestly, we could have used some good fans or central air as it got sweaty at various times (3) additional costs paid on site - on top of the main room/hotel charge paid online to book for 2 night stay, there was destination fee ($30), cleaning fee ($329), these also taxed (~$60 just taxes)

Vacation home rental agency
Kuhio Shores Oceanfront Condos in Poipu, Hawaii, offer a delightful retreat just 300 meters from Baby Beach. These air-conditioned accommodations feature inviting balconies and complimentary WiFi, with some units boasting fully equipped kitchens and modern amenities like satellite flat-screen TVs. The corner unit is particularly special, situated a mere 35 feet from the oceanfront, providing stunning views and ample space for relaxation.
If you’re going to Kauai for vacation, then look no further than Kuhio Shores. This condominium is well situated even if you have to walk to the closest mall. Most of everything on Kauai does require a rental car. The unit we rented was 208. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked on our arrival. The balcony opening up onto the ocean was amazing. The views were fantastic and we saw sea turtles every day right from our lanai. You’ll see wonderful sunrises. Overall this unit was exceptionally clean. There is coin-operated laundry. Just be leery. If you decide to park your car underneath the trees, you will need to borrow the hose in the morning to wash off all the bird poop. Otherwise, all in all, I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the island of Kauai.
Kelly K — Google review
Stayed here recently. Could not have asked for a much better experience. Right on the water . 2 pictures are from the balcony
Jack W — Google review
Worst experience ever. They called me the same day of checking in saying the unit I reserved and confirmed 3 weeks earlier wasn’t available. They didn’t offer another unit as a replacement and just sent me Expedia links so I can look myself for another place. No idea on how to manage customers on vacation and zero empathy.
Claudio K — Google review
A great stay, ever thing worked well. Laundry coin op by elevator, parking under trees =bird decorations... thousands of parakeets desend at sunset! Bbqs are clean and work well
Daniel H — Google review
The view from our room was 5*. If all you are looking for is a room with a view - this is the place. The reason for the low rating is that there are no amenities offered by the condo other than a room with a view (and the BBQ area - see below). - No pool. - Unless you have a ground-floor unit, there's no grassy area as part of the condo building for residents to enjoy (and balconies are extremely small). - Building is not on the beach (the beach next door is only good for snorkeling; it is too rocky for swimming - so you have to drive to the nearest beach if you want to swim). - BBQ area consists of 2 grills on a cement pad in the parking lot next to the dumpsters. BBQs are not allowed in individual units. If a pool or a swimming beach is important to you, there are a ton of other options to consider in the Poipu Beach area.
CC — Google review
Love this condo unit, as well as complex. It’s very clean & comfortable compared to other units with very attractive furniture and open floor plan. The bed is a king not queen, which is sometimes hard to find and is top quality. Great location. Especially enjoy the lanai for turtle watching and reading. We had an easy time booking thru owner, Told Vacations. We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you.

Resort hotel
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is a sprawling tropical paradise perched above Keoneloa Beach in Poipu. With 605 rooms spread across 52 acres, the resort offers a blend of tranquility and vibrant gathering spots. Families can revel in the best pool complex on the island, featuring a lazy river, saltwater lagoon, and water slide. Culinary delights abound at various restaurants, from signature buffets to fine dining experiences with ocean views.
Where do I start from?? From the very warm welcome we received with the orchid lei, we were ready for the pampering and warmth which we were about to receive. We were given a free bottle of champagne as we were celebrating a special occasion and that made us so happy. The stunning views of the ocean, classy and tastefully designed restaurants, very sumptuous breakfast buffet, lobby shops, traditional luau show and hula dance made us feel so good. We are extremely happy that we chose Hyatt for our stay in Kauai. This resort screams of luxury, beauty and hospitality. The staff is fantastic and always welcoming. We will highly recommend this resort.
Mayank G — Google review
Our family of four had an amazing vacation here at Grand Hyatt Kauai. The service was too notch. The grounds are stunning. The landscaping : flowers, rocks, waterfalls and simply beautiful. The pools are next level which include jacuzzis, lazy river, waterfalls slide and a lagoon pool w sandy bottom in parts. We booked two club lounge rooms and the club staff was top tier. We partook in the breakfast, snacks, Hors d'Oeuvres and desserts most days and all the food was delicious. Very thankful we booked a club room as it saved it a lot of money eating out for breakfast! On our last night one club lounge worker (wish I remembered her name!) gave us a goody bag of granola bars and other treats for our flight home 🥹 We messaged the hotel prior that we were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday and they gifted us cupcakes and champagne! All the reviews are spot on- this place is a paradise and if you’re on the fence of booking it- just do it! You won’t be disappointed!

It’s a garden of Eden The food is so delicious from breakfast to the coffee bar to Tidepools. It’s a dream. Room clean and comfy The grounds are stunning. The pools. Oh I dream about them. Nothing like it. You can float or swim or hide in a shady spot by a waterfall. It’s all there waiting for you. Best hotel in Hawaii.
AR F — Google review
Spectacular landscaping and oceanfront views. Excellent food and beverage options. But the rest of the hotel is pretty standard Hyatt and is certainly showing the fact that it is 35 years old. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are definitely from the 90s and have only had light refreshes to the furniture. The rooms are pretty standard Hyatt. The plugs near the bed have integrated USB-A. A nice bonus is that you get 2x refillable water bottles that you can keep. Otherwise the rest of the in room amenities are again standard Hyatt. The bath products are a little bit localized with coco melon type fragrances. The hallways are dark with somewhat low ceilings and limited air flow (no air conditioning in the hallways). The pools are excellent, but still a bit dated. The resort is very large. If you have mobility challenges, you need to weigh the fact that your room may be a 15-20 minute walk from the lobby. The furthest rooms are closer to the condo complex next door than they are to the lobby. There are "faster" outdoor routes, but if it is raining you'll get very wet, and some of the outdoor pathways are not level and have pretty steep grades (some very steep paths actually have railings.) The lower level rooms (floors 1-2) have limited/no ocean views. I would have rated the resort 4 stars; however, the bathrooms in each room are extremely dated with a soaking tub that is challenging to get into. You have to be able to take a wide step into the tub over tiling/etc, and you have to be able to do that getting out of the tub when the tub/floor is wet. There is no grab bar to get out of the tub at the corner. There is a grab bar inside the tub area, but it is difficult to reach. If you have any knee/hip/back issues you will need an accessible room, even if you would not normally make such a request. I personally think this is unacceptable, so for this reason I am deducting 1 star. If I were in a wheelchair and absolutely needed accessible paths, I would reduce the rating further, possibly to only 1 star. It is 2025, accessibility concerns are not acceptable for a name brand like Hyatt. The hotel should post a warning when booking regarding this.

We had an amazing four-night stay at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai! The rooms were freshly renovated and super comfortable. I absolutely loved the shower and bed! Service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, it made our stay truly memorable. The location is also top-notch - you’ll get the best weather on the entire island. There were daily resort fees, but hey, they included free parking, so that’s a plus!
Matthew F — Google review
Love the hotel. Wonderful staff. Beautiful location. Shout out to the great club lounge staff. Amazing attention to detail. Super friendly. Food has improved significantly since the lounge was moved to the new bigger, nicer location. Very delicious.
Tropic C — Google review
Great trip with my father in law and my wife. Kauai is our new favorite island and the amenities at the Hyatt are terrific. We felt bad for families with kids when the water slide went down for maintenance or repair, but that did not affect us much. Huge Kudos for our breakfast servers at the Illima Terrace, Steve Hyde and Lydia. They are both wonderful people and they went above and beyond taking care of us and my wife’s dad in particular, as he has been been a regular at the Grand Hyatt Kauai for 20 + years until his wife passed away and this was his first time back. They made the entire trip wonderful for all of us!
Steve F — Google review
Obsessed! The first trip with kids (5-14) that felt like an actual vacation. The staff members were so warm and welcoming. We arrived late and they gave my kids stuffed animals, pool floaties, and various other things to welcome them to Kauai. Our room had the best view looking out over the pool and ocean. It was a quiet hotel. It’s huge! And I never felt cramped or overrun with people. The club lounge was a great benefit for us. I would suggest some more variety or some better snack options. But was happy to have access to it. As soon as we left we wanted to go back!! It was great for us.

Beach
Poipu Beach, located on Kauai's south coast, is a popular destination for both surfers and leisure seekers. The beach offers a shallow and protected swimming area, as well as opportunities for snorkeling and surfboard rentals. Visitors can also enjoy the beachfront Koa Kea Hotel & Resort, which provides a peaceful alternative to larger hotel chains with its intimate rooms featuring private balconies and island-themed decor.
What a beach! Crystal clear water, soft sand, coconut trees and sea turtles! It was so nice to see the turtles up close. Definitely giving hawaii vibes. One of the fee beaches where you are guaranteed to see a sea turtle. It is also a great sunset spot. There are nice restaurants near by so you can have a bite after chilling at the beach. Plenty of parking available in the lot across the street. There are nice changing rooms too.
Girish K — Google review
We saw incredible turtles around noon time. The beach was a small sand strip and highly overcrowded on both the sand and the water as being a popular destination. Parking was good but there was no place to seat in quiet moment to observe these wonderful turtles.
Anime N — Google review
It’s very popular but for good reason. Parking can fill up at sunset, so get there ahead of time. We swam for an hour or two then grabbed dinner then came back for the turtles. Pretty good sunsets over here too! If you want to beat the line up be ready to move once the sun goes down!
Andrew — Google review
A must-see at both daytime and evening. The evening time is to see the Hawaiian green sea turtles that come up on the beach to take a snooze. It is so cool to watch them come out of the water and take a snooze.
Lucinda D — Google review
Loved this beach, visited on 3 different occasions during our trip. Beautiful sunsets amazing wildlife, snorkeling is super nice there and huge turtle families come out on the beach in the evenings (we saw some everyday we came) also a monk seal resting just by that beach (saw on 2 occasions). Really nice spot!!
Laila T — Google review
Snorkeling with Hawaiian Green turtles and amazing fish!! At night over 100 turtles sleep on the beach. During the day several turtles hang out on the beach to rest and might swim by you at any time.
John P — Google review
Beautiful location. Lots of turtles. Great spot for snorkeling. Not a great swimming beach. Very rocky bottom. Bring sturdy swim shoes. The chicken picture is not photoshopped.
Brad H — Google review
Was too crowded but overall good. Recommend to wear swimming shoes while snorkeling since it has too many rocks. Saw two huge turtles resting on the beach.

I must say that my wife and I absolutely loved everything about Whalers Cove Resort. The grounds as soon as you pull in are meticulously manicured, clean, and Incredibly inviting. We rented unit 117 and we could not have been happier. It was on the bottom floor on the ocean Steps From the pool and the barbecue area which we used several times during our stay. The unit was clean and freshly decorated the view was absolutely breathtaking

We had the BEST time at Whaler’s Cove! Unit 212 on the ground floor was amazing! We saw turtles every day and loved eating meals out on our lanai. Being from San Francisco where it’s cold at night I was a little worried about not having AC, but we opened the doors to let the afternoon breeze blow through and all slept great with the fans provided. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The gardens, pool and hot tub were great with the waves crashing onto shore right by us! The stars at night were so bright and beautiful, and we got to see some meteors, too. We loved the nearby beaches and farmers markets. There is plenty of great food, shopping and sightseeing nearby. I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay. If you’re debating where to stay, look no further. Whaler’s Cove is a true gem!

Two heavenly weeks at an oceanfront Condo at Whaler's Cove in Poipu. Walking distance to Kukuiula Shopping Center for Lappert's coffee and later in the afternoon for Lappert's ice cream. The shopping center has an eclectic collection of shops and boutiques and a large Longs Drug store. It also has a fine collection of casual and upscale restaurants, all within walking distance. I enjoyed the craft show at the Beach House Restaurant, and of course the "not too well known" Babies beach. I enjoyed the craft show at the Beach House Restaurant, and of course the "not too well known" Babies beach. The location is wonderful and I look forward to returning to Whalers Cove next spring! We had such a wonderful stay at Whalers Cove, Condo 134! The unit had everything we needed and more—fully stocked kitchen supplies, high-quality shampoo and toiletries, even thoughtful extras like sunscreen. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was pure bliss. The pool was fantastic, and the free beach gear made our days in the sun extra easy and fun. The front desk staff were warm and helpful from the moment we arrived. We truly felt cared for. We’d absolutely love to come back again—thank you for a beautiful stay!
Aki S — Google review
This was my first time in Hawaii and I’m so glad we came here. Our rental was managed my MARIANNE, and she was beyond amazing. She checked in every other day to see if we needed anything and spare everything for when we ran out (conditioners, spices, etc). You should know there is NO AC in any of the units, but we came in October and it was the perfect temp. The wind and fans kept us more than cool enough. No direct beach access, but it is right at the waters edge with great views (see photos). For a really nice beach go to BABY BEACH, a 2 minute walk down the road. It’s very private (only beachfront houses) and great for kids because of the reef wall. There is a stairwell in the parking lot that goes directly to the water or direct snorkeling access. (GREAT snorkeling right in front of the resort and easy for kiddos) We went to the Grand Hyatt down the street for drinks one night, and the gardens there are beautiful, but I’m very glad we came here instead. It’s an incredibly quiet and private place, I even had my proposal here early in the trip and it was absolutely perfect.

Stayed for 8 nights in August in #134 and had an amazing stay. The room was well stocked and had an incredible view. The resort was quiet and the pool rarely had more than 3 households. Parking is easy. Resort was walking distance to Baby Beach which is great for snorkeling and safe swimming for kids. We also stayed in 2013 and had a similar experience. Staff were happy to replenish our beach towels and loan us snorkel gear, chairs, and umbrellas.
Jon T — Google review
We stayed in condo 120 when visiting Whalers Cove and loved it! The employees were very welcoming and gave such a great experience for our first time there. Excited for the next visit!
Andrew T — Google review
We so enjoyed our visit to Kauai, excursions (Lydgate Farms Chocolate, Koloa Rum Safari , Polihale Beach, golf Poiopu Bay and The Ocean Course Hokuala, snorkeling Baby Beach) just to name a few! But most enjoyable were the evening sunsets on our Lanai. Mahalo for Marianne and staff's attendance to our every need. Looking forward to the next stay at Whalers Cove.

Poipu Kapili Resort offers luxurious one and two-bedroom condos with spacious, plantation-style designs. Each unit features floor-to-ceiling windows, private terraces, and full kitchens for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, tennis courts, barbecues, and community herb garden. The resort's ocean view swimming pool provides a stunning backdrop while being within walking distance of Kiahuna Beach and Koloa Landing.
We were in the oceanfront units so I can only speak to those. Best view I’ve ever had in Hawaii. We usually stay in a resort but this was much better value and convenient. Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. It was great to make our own breakfast and not blow $50 on resort eggs. Pool was a bit sad and yes, people park across the street and play music which is kinda annoying but not a deal breaker.

We have a decent size group and it was not easy to find a condo that could keep us close. They were great to work with the condo's are great. This is a great place to adventure out from. The he landscape is beautiful and well maintained. The pool area is kept clean and open and not always packed. The Internet has worked great allowing for streaming abilities.

Could’ve stayed a month! The units are independently owned so they are all different. We booked through Parish Kauai unit 59. It was gorg, I would recommend the two floor sea front units. Amazing views and whale watching…sleeping to the sound of ocean waves. The grounds were well kept, assigned parking, quiet relaxing pool. Walk to the beach. Hawaii sunsets galore. Great location to shops and restaurants. The onlyyyy thing to note is the road - it’s great for people watching, a few loud cars accelerating unnecessarily, but overall didn’t bother us too much. Would definitely come back.
Elizabeth E — Google review
Stayed in unit 55. The unit is lovely and well equipped. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers were thoughtfully provided. Beautiful view and grounds and a great location right across from the ocean. So why the two star rating? The unit is oppressively hot. There is only loud free standing AC units in each of the bedrooms. Their built in thermostat never read below 83 during the day (79 in the morning after running all night long) and the downstairs was nearly unusable even with two fans running non stop. The unit has a great washer and dryer, but using the laundry dryer was nearly impossible due to the extra heat generated. Unfortunately, I cannot recommended this property without an HVAC upgrade by the owners. Hawaii is hotter than years past, and trade winds don’t seem to cool things down like they used to, so full house AC is essential

My wife and I just stayed in #32 at the Poipu Kapili and it was a terrific experience. There is a wonderful view out the living room veranda of the beautiful grounds, including the swimming pool and beyond that the waves breaking on the ocean (see picture). We used the veranda and the raised patio furniture every morning for breakfast as it got the day started reminding us of the beauty of living next to the ocean. The condo itself has been recently renovated and has air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. It also has two big screen TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The furniture throughout is tropical and very comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom is new and very comfortable and there are great showerheads in both bathrooms. The kitchen has been upgraded and has a large refrigerator and the range looks brand new--and of course there are all of the appliances to live comfortably for long stays. Overall #32 is a place that I would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in beautiful Poipu, Kauai.
Dave T — Google review
Our beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was spacious with full kitchen and laundry equipment. Our daily needs were all met. The complex was quiet and we could see the beach during our morning coffee. We enjoyed walking about the lush landscaping. We enjoyed shopping at the local Big Save just 7 minutes away. All of our favorite points of interest were no farther than 1 or 2 hours away. Historic St. Raphael's was an easy 20 minute drive on Christmas and New Year's for Mass. Enjoyed and Recommending.

Beautiful location. Plantation style building. Elevator available to the third floor. Our room needs some updating, but having two patio areas was unique. Pool was pleasant and not overcrowded. Short walk to beautiful beaches. Lots of turtles and seals basking on the beaches.

Stayed at the most Under rated unit yet! Unit 100 was excellent Unit, Best Location, and the Groundskeeper that came around every morning was a true delight! We could not have picked a better spot and place! With my cuzn’s telling me where they stayed etc I accidentally chose this one instead and I am so glad! It had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, tv updated and great, had everything we needed and we were 300’ from the ocean, the BEST SPOT TO STAY AWESOME VIEWS!

Great resort and location. Not as busy as the East and North. I would say the people who stay here are a little more mature, not as rowdy. There is restaurants and two shopping centers nearby but not touristy like the other coasts mentioned. The resort was great. Had two pools available with showers. One with a hot tube. There’s a tennis court. Outside is well maintained. Assigned parking. Staff were great. Very understandable even when I forgot to registered until the day before I was leaving, day 4 😊. Sorry! Inside our unit was good. Clean and well cared for. Both TVs were challenging to get it working properly. WiFi was great. Everything worked! Kitchen was good. Had cookware. Furnitures were comfortable. Place was inviting. Only downside, NO A/C only in the bedroom. It was hot and humid throughout all day long. Luckily, we were barely inside. Stay was peaceful. Would I recommend? Yes. It’s near many restaurants and stores. Walking distance to everything, pool and beach (10 minutes). I would come stay again if I ever come back to the island. Thank you!

Great path through the grounds from the Hyatt to Poipu Beach State Park. Lots of different condos and houses along the way with pools and tennis courts.

Had the best stay at our Manualoha unit! Unforgettable trip! Kauai is stunning even in December, and Poipu Kai resort is perfectly located 5min walk to the beach. The apartment had everything we needed - full kitchen with all the gadgets, super comfy bed, all the beach equipment you could ask for. Access to the athletic Club included in our rate was very convenient; our kid loved the water slide and asked to go there every day. Poipu and Brennecke’s beaches are stunning, spent hours there every day and we saw turtles, seals, and dolphins! There was minor noise in the evening of people walking to their units (bedroom window was next to the walkway to other apartments) but it quieted down at night. We’ll stay there again next time for sure! Mahalo!

2024 edit: so glad we gave this beautiful place another chance, everything was perfect! Can’t wait to return! Aloha! 2022: I'd like to start by saying, I used to LOVE this place. Beginning in 2012, my husband and I have stayed at Kahala at Poipu Kai 5 times over 10 years. For nostalgia and familiarity we decided to book the same exact condo the past 3 times (#832) despite the overall price doubling in recent years, this time for our 20th anniversary vacation. . I understand that housekeeping has a certain protocol they follow, however nothing outside of this, no matter how obvious, seems to get addressed. The carpets have not been shampooed once in the 5 years we have stayed here. They are very, very dirty. Considering the extra near $200 cleaning fee they charge, it seems expected, at least once in a while. There was also mud on the walls. It was as if someones horse-sized dog shook off in the unit. I cleaned it off easily with a sponge up to where I could no longer reach on the 4 main walls so that we didn't have to look at it. This unit really needs some TLC, it is way overpriced for the condition it's in. Tips: Watch out for the angry groundskeepers in their golf carts! They seem to hate tourists and hate their job. Do not expect any return waves or smiles. Walking back from the sunset one evening, the groundskeeper zips around a corner towards us going at least 15 mph. After instinctively moving out of the way onto the grass, giving HIM the right of way AND offering a friendly wave, he continued to give me stink eye and a rude "go away" hand gesture. Year after year when we return, he attempts to make us feel unwelcome. Another guest told us he literally yelled at them when the pool gate closed behind them because it made a noise. Another one of the groundskeepers will stop and glare at you for several minutes as you carefully complete your 6 or 8 point turn (in your compact car) to try to leave the lot. Uncannily, these exact same things happened on our last visit. Ignore the shade they throw, get out and enjoy the amazing magical nature Kaua'i offers. Do not expect to receive any complimentary "late checkouts." They used to be accommodating if there were no guests booked that day. There was no one booked in our condo for 4 days after we departed and housekeeping would still not allow us the extra 2 hours. Do expect construction. Ahhh, the peaceful sounds of Poipu... The past 2 times we stayed, there were loud renovations during the day along with the construction workers screaming at one another. No problem for us, we don't stay in the condo much during the day, but some might find this very irritating. But don't let that pool gate lock on its own, because it makes a noise and irritates the groundskeeper, lol.

Best condo ever- 312!!! We were on the greenbelt facing the beach. I cannot express enough how glad I am this is where we stayed. The view was so beautiful and there are no pictures to do it justice. Our condo had everything in it too!! Do your homework on choosing the right condo. You will not be disappointed. It took 10 years off my life staying in 312.

Views are priceless! Pool was great. Would prefer a/c. Would recommend a new screen door so you can get the trade winds through the condo better. We had to prop the current screen door open and open the front door to get in the condo. Overall, it was a nice condo. Location was great!

I mean…it’s on the water. Turtles and dolphins swim by. Not sure a view gets more incredible. Is the condo perfect? No, it doesn’t have AC, the walls are thin, and the pool machinery sounds like a buzzsaw. But it’s all worth it to be in this magical place.

The apartment is clean, comfortable, and remodeled. The view is magnificent from the porch. You have an oceanview of mostly Sea turtles, sometimes Dolphins, and occasionally Whales and Flying silver fishes.

The 2-bedroom unit features modern amenities and a fully furnished balcony for alfresco dining while enjoying the ocean vistas. Situated near Shipwreck's Beach and the Mahaulepu Heritage Trail, it provides easy access to Kauai's coastal attractions.
An incredible location- near all the action of Poipu Beach, but with some privacy and more space to spread out too (importantly, my kids were able to play soccer in the lawn areas!) Everyone from booking to the end of our stay was pleasant and helpful. My kids loved the pool! We saw whales and dolphins from our comfy deck chairs. We loved walking to Shipwreck beach and to Brennecke and see the turtles. The lava arch too. Great location, and with big comfy rooms and spaces (we were in 523 Poipu Sands)

Nice location. Short walk down to the beach. Misleading management. Was told there would be no construction affecting the building or adjacent buildings that I was staying in. However, during our stay, our building was affected greatly. Front door path was blocked off, caution tape right outside our patio, and no parking in front of our building. We would have never booked had we known it would directly affect our room/building. Be careful booking. Shady and misleading host.

Our second time staying at Poipu Sands, and we loved it just as much this time as the first visit. Location is a strong point if you like to walk/run along the ocean, as the path in front of condos run right down to the shore. We loved walking over to Shipwreck Beach to watch the sunset, or take the path in the opposite direction to get down to Lava Arch and Poipu Beach Condo layouts are spacious with beautiful views—-great for a group We’ll be back! It's a great place to rent with ocean views, a heated pool. And it's a good place to buy as it's a vacation rental that does quite well

We stayed in #525. You can’t tell from the website but this unit is located next to a water treatment plant. This was surprising but beside a vague odor and a constant low hum from the motors the unit is great. It’s very well furnished and the view is excellent. We just didn’t expect the plant but then no owner would mention it. We asked to be moved within minutes of arriving but were told we’d be required to pay for both units. Oh well. Vacation adventure.

We stayed in unit 413 and absolutely loved our stay. It was a short walk over to Shipwreck Beach abs the Hyatt next door. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The grills were cleaned daily and the pool area was great! I really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to at again!!

After a hotel room at a resort for four days, our condo (416) was spacious, clean, and well appointed. If we stood on the edge of the lanai we could see the ocean. I am sure some of the condos have ocean views. The pool is heated, a little cold but has a good security lock. Bbq's are available. There's a security patrol, but the neighborhood is quiet. Good location, although a small walk to the beach.

Garden Island Rentals offers a variety of vacation rentals in beautiful locations on the island. Guests have enjoyed their stays at cute bungalows with direct access to Baby beach, where they could see and hear the ocean from their accommodations. Some even had the pleasure of spotting sea turtles basking in the sun. The units are well-maintained and clean, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers upon arrival.
We finally got to stay at this cute bungalow, it has been on the works for quite a while and we had an amazing stay, just wished we could have stayed longer. Great location with direct access to Baby beach, we could see and hear the ocean from the bungalow. We also got to see a sea turtle basking in the sun two days in a row. We loved sitting out on the lanai enjoying the view and just relaxing. Added bonus were the cute beach bungalow kitties and we had fun figuring each of their personalities. The cute bungalow is decorated island style and very comfortable, had all the things we needed and more during our stay. It was nice having beach chairs, umbrellas and more to take to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. Owner has put a lot of thought into the bungalow and made our stay perfect.

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at Hale Ohana. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything we needed as we cooked quite a lot over the days we were there. We were pleased to have the TV attended to immediately and received extra beach towels for our crowd within hours. We didn't have any problems but were confident that we could have gotten help if we needed to. Thank you all at Garden Island Rentals. This was our second time using one of your rental homes. We will again I am sure. Mahalo!

Our third time at Baby Beach Bungalow 2. We love the bungalow very well stocked and very nice. It’s away from the business of Popui and quiet with beach right there for sunrise, sunsets. Even has resident turtle that comes ashore every evening….actually 2. Close to shopping center with great restaurants close. Love it and will return again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Hale Nalu for 5 nights. What a beautiful, spotless home in a great location! Perfect for our family that includes a 10 month old. It is adjacent to Baby Beach which is handy and there is also good snorkeling. Two master bedrooms was a plus as well. It has sunrise and sunset views!

Was our 10th stay at this beautiful home. It is perfect for our family vacations and GIR is fabulous to work with. We never have issues and they are so accommodating. We feel like it’s our home away from home. I would not change a thing about this house! You can definitely get your Aloha on here!
Pam Q — Google review
The location of Hale Nalu was perfect. Saw whales every day. It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The house itself is well equipped and spacious. The third bedroom and small bathroom is more suited to kids rather than a couple. A suggestion to the owners is to replace the uncomfortable sofa and chairs in the living room. Our family loves cats so we enjoyed having little Kona hanging out on the lanai with us.

Nestled on the stunning south side of Kauai, Prince Kuhio Condominiums offers a delightful retreat for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. This charming resort is perfectly positioned near popular attractions such as Lawai Beach, Poipu Beach, and the breathtaking Spouting Horn Park. Guests can enjoy easy access to vibrant snorkeling spots at PK's Beach or indulge in surfing right across the street.
Prince Kuhio is a fabulous condo to stay at when visiting Kauai. First the grounds of the condo are amazing, very lush and tropical with a wonderful pool area. We stayed in 306 and it was incredible. Nicely furnished, with everything you need for a stay on the island from beautiful furniture and beds and everything you can imagine for the kitchen. A great bathroom with a fantastic walk in shower and a top notch view of the closest beach from the balcony. I’d like to note it is ocean front, not beach front, with a road between the condo and beaches, but it really isn’t an issue as you can see the beach and waves to help drifting off to sleep each night. It is so close to numerous shops and eating establishments that I’d say it’s perfectly located. Not a long drive to anything in Koloa and Poipu. I really can’t suggest PK enough, it’s absolutely perfect. Units differ based upon the owner but I can say without a doubt 306 is splendid. I strongly suggest PK for a trip to Kauai, it is well worth it!

Whoever renovated unit 104 has amazing taste. We ended up trying to find something missing and failed, its all there. There is no air conditioning, it was mid August and you just dont need it. They have louvres or windows on the almost all of the east and west walls and in internal walls so you can just let the beautiful sea breeze flow and it was fantastic. snorkel at baby beach at high tide and get past the rocks. GET BACK B4 the tide turns :-)

A beautiful condo, just a short stroll from the sparkling ocean and snorkel rental s, restaurants are also nearby. The rental process is a breeze for your home away from home with views of the ocean from your private balcony. The condo comes fully equipped with all the essentials you need to feel at home, including dishes, cooking utensils, and a coffee maker for that perfect morning brew. There is a community pool and a convenient BBQ area, ideal for relaxing afternoons in the sun or enjoying a meal outdoors. Parking is easy and this condo offers an incredible value for a getaway.
Amber S — Google review
This a great place to stay with gorgeous views and the condo was great the only issue was that every night you had to listen to people outside shooting and killing parkeets which are extremely kind, gentle and intelligent animals. One was actually chased up the stairwell and into the door of our condo and I opened the door and you could tell how frightened the bird was and a man then came up the stairs and grabbed the parakeet and said they were killing them. Very disturbing to have to listen to every single night. If you care for animals at all I would recommend staying somewhere else on the island.
Madeline G — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal! The condo, the location, the service, the views - everything was 5 stars! The property manager, Matt, and Josh, who helped organize the booking, were both incredibly nice, helpful and professional. I highly recommend!

I was in unit 114, and it was delightful. I ended up cooking almost every meal and the kitchen was well stocked. I would have liked a dishwasher, but there’s really no space for one. The unit was light and bright and the only critters I saw were the geckos and the wild parakeets. I cooked out on the grills 4 or 5 times and they were always clean and had gas. One night while I was grilling, I was completely surrounded by a huge flock of parakeets. They are beautiful but very noisy. Oh, and the condo comes with your own personal set of alarm clocks - the roosters. Usually they started crowing at 6 am, but one morning it was 5:15. The location was perfect for me. I loved the pool with its little waterfall. The laundry room is convenient and I never had a problem with finding an open washer.

Sunset Kahili Condominium is one of the several vacation rental options near Poipu Beach, along with other resorts like Poipu Shores and Poipu Kai Resort. The location offers stunning ocean views and breathtaking sunsets from the upper floors. It's conveniently close to the beach, with a short walk to popular spots like Brennecke's Beach and a 10-minute drive to Koloa Town.
Yes this place was built in the 60s-70s but is very well maintained. Rules about quiet time help reduce the noise. Whale viewing and sunset viewing are superb. Our unit was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. I have no problem staying around people in their 80s. We should be so lucky to be 80 someday

What a beautiful location! Ocean views from our private balcony. Can't wait to come back!
Duane L — Google review
The views are amazing! You're less than a ten minute walk from Poipu Beach and Brennecke's Beach and a 10 minute drive to Koloa Town. Poipu has a lot to offer because you're close to multiple shopping centers, restaurants, a few grocery stores and amazing gift shops. It's only a 20 minutes drive back into Lihue if you want a Walmart, Costco and some of the bigger chain stores. The weather in Poipu is the sunniest and driest on the island because of its southern location. Sunset Kahili is not a new building and I'm sure that some units are updated. We stayed in #307. It was quaint but didn't have comfortable furniture. It could use a facelift for sure. The biggest negative about unit 307 was that it didn't have air-conditioning. During the day it's not such a big deal, but at night when you're laying in bed, it's miserably hot in October. The ceiling fans aren't enough. Overall, it's a great value for the money, and the location is amazing. I'd stay again at Sunset Kahili, but I'd find a unit that was a little more updated and with A/C.
Jacob M — Google review
My wife and I stayed in 304 for a week. Amazingly well equipped apartment, nothing missed. Yes, it’s a warm place, during the day and night. We knew when we booked that there would be no AC and it was ok. I’m surprised so many people complain about missing AC, it’s obvious from multiple websites that no AC is available. The views and location can’t be beat 😀😀
Lars S — Google review
This was such a nice place and a great location to stay. The upper floors get an amazing view of the ocean, and great sunsets. It's also just a short walk to the beach. It was almost exactly 1 mile to walk to the Sheraton across the beaches. Every morning there were sea turtles and monk seals on Poipu beach. We stayed in unit 305 owned by Tiffany, it was fantastic. I will say though, the way it is shaped if there is any noise below, it echos into your room as if they were in there with you. Also, most if not all of units don't have a/c and for some reason even with the unit completely opened up we didn't get very good air flow. And, you are right next to all of your neighbors when sitting on the patio. That said, I would stay here again.
Travis H — Google review
Very well kept older condo. Our condo had all the amenities we needed and a great ocean view. Licated close to everything. Drawbacks: The management company required us to drop off keys at the end of our stay at a location near the airport. This is a bit of an inconvenience when you're also having to stop and fill the rental car gas tank, turn the car in, etc. Seems like they should make it easier for the renter, and let you leave the keys in the unit. No directions on how to use the TV system otherwise our stay was great. We would come back

Lawai Beach, located on the south shore near Lawai Beach Resort, is a hidden gem for snorkeling enthusiasts. It offers the opportunity to observe various marine species such as turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, parrotfish, and tangs. The beach is known for its excellent snorkeling conditions and often hosts snorkel lessons and tours. During low tide, the beach provides ample space for setting up and exploring the vibrant underwater world with improved visibility towards the reef.
This was the first place I ever went snorkeling in 2023, and i have a soft spot for it. That said, the rocks are a real obstacle getting in and out of the water. I walked away with a few bruises, and my companion got a sizable scrape down his leg. The coral is scattered around beneath the waves, plenty of fish to see, and you might catch sight of a very majestic turtle. Honestly, the turtle encounter bumps this up to five stars. It really made my day.

pros - a lot of fish - there’s an area with grass and trees that people can walk on and see the ocean cons - pretty rocky and all my friends end up getting easily injured on the way out of the water - very small beach - parking can be tough

A tiny little snorkel beach by the rental place, there are a few patches of sand for your toes to snuggle into but it is a rocky beach. A beautiful view with the walking path and benches set to face the sunset. We were lucky to see a turtle swimming near the rocks one afternoon🐢
Amber S — Google review
This is a very small beach and does not have a lot of shore to lay on. It is fairly rocky but it boasts a nice inlet area towards the shore that makes it a prime snorkel spot. If you are staying close by and want snorkel it is nice having it close to home. Aside from that it isn’t really worth it if you are not snorkeling or have to drive a bit to get to it. We did see our first beached seal here sleeping and soaking up some rays which was cool.
Patrick S — Google review
Probably be a great snorkeling beach some times. But the south break made it a surfing beach.

Stumbled on this beach on the way back to our hotel after visiting Waimea canyon. Skeptical of snorkeling reviews because it’s relative. This is the real deal. We just got back from Maldives so trying to level set expectations around island. Was super impressed with snorkeling here. Many fish species, coral and five sea turtles. Rocky entrance but can access through a couple sand entrances. Not too crowded given little sand beach and light parking capacity. We got a spot right across street. Kids had a brownie sundae at Riptide snack shop.

Small beach in area of condos and resorts. A popular local spot for surfers so a great place to watch their skills. The beach is t very big so you don’t see many people laying or beach combing. There is always a snorkeling going on. Turtles are often in the surf around the corner. There is one stand to buy shaved ice and some food. The Beach House is here which is an upscale restaurant that serves dinner. Reservations are a must! Great location for sunset. Benches along the walkway. Parking can be a challenge. It is located not far from the main Poipu shopping.

This is a great beach for everyone. The area has tons of trees and lots of grass to spread out on. There are facilities, lifeguards, picnic tables, etc. The highlight for us were the beached turtles 🐢 there's plenty of places to eat too.

Brennecke’s Beach is a fantastic spot for surfing! The waves get really high, making it perfect for more experienced surfers looking for a thrill. Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER is a laid-back beachfront retreat in Koloa, offering casual condos with kitchens and private lanais. The resort features a restaurant, terrace, garden, concierge services, wedding services, picnic area, and barbecue grills. It provides an authentic Hawaiian vibe and unpretentious amenities for a family-friendly relaxed vacation without the crowded feel of a typical hotel or resort.
Rooms are a little dated , but they are always updating. Not all rooms have AC, but coming from Texas high 70’s at night is a treat. Property is beautifully landscaped with tons of orchids and bromeliads. 5 min walk to one of the best beaches on the island, and many choices for food all within a 5 mile radius. We spent most of the week on excursions so the place was great to just crash for the night, if this fits your needs then this will be perfect for you. Staff are super nice, just like all Hawaiians. Mohalo 🤗

Kiahuna Plantation Resort is a wonderful place to stay! The condo felt more like home with more than enough space for me and plenty of room for a family as well. It included a queen-size bedroom, pullout couch, inflatable mattress, full kitchen, dining area, and outdoor seating! Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The layout made it easy to relax, only an 5 minute walk to the beach, and the resort grounds are absolutely stunning! A great choice for anyone visiting Kauaʻi! ❤️

Great place to stay on Kaua'i. The grounds are absolutely beautiful 🌺🌴I would recommend staying here. Close to the beach. This is apt/condo style that is managed by outrigger. Which is nice because, you get towel exchange(s) and Linen exchange(s) *frequency depends on how many nights you book. Across the main street, is an athletic club that you get access to for swimming, gym, multiple courts and a restaurant.
K F — Google review
The property intentionally lied about their amenities, in the description it says "pool on-site". There is no pool on-site. "The pool" is about 1/4 mile away and across a busy road at a place called Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Which is open to anyone. The only thing the really have onsite is a couple of outdoor community grills which are nice and in good working order. We Have 2 small children and an infant and we were given a room with only 2nd floor access and no elevator which was extremely inconvenient having an infant in a stroller. After check in We were also never offered any help with our bags. The condos do not have air conditioning throughout the dwelling only in the bedrooms so they get very hot, this was also not disclosed in the property description either. Our room was pretty dated and looked like nothing had been updated since the early 1990's. We also upgraded to have an ocean view, while we could see the ocean from our balcony it was not a good view and we were quite a good distance from the water. Also none of many water fountains around the property worked, they are all empty. We asked for a refund and were denied but we're told the manager would call us the next day. Which never happened. Overall the property was beautiful and well kept but I am however very disappointed in the dishonesty in the property description and with the property management. Knowing what we know now we would have stayed somewhere else.

Very dirty, very hot. No portable fans, 1 ceiling fan in main living space, 1 ceiling fan in each bedroom. One of the ceiling fans was broken on the first night, office gave us a couple of box fans and did replace broken ceiling fan. Were not allowed to choose rooms, ours was up by the road. So you had lots of road noise. No staff on site over night and there was lots of noise from other guests, one guy played his guitar on his balcony until 2am. We've stayed with out ac before, but up by the road there is little to no breeze. Also NO PRIVACY there were zero curtains in our rooms and the only way to get airflow was to open the wood slats so everyone can see in and the bedrooms were on the ground floor. Our room also had roaches and was very dirty on the ground floor. Furniture was worn out, cushions flat from use. Rug in the main living space was disgusting. Place was probably nice 12 years ago. All the fountains etc were in disrepair on site restaurant was no longer in business. Pool is across the street and is pretty small so very crowded.

They lied about ocean view. We could not see the ocean from our room. There was a building and garden facing our balcony. May be they meant the small blue patches that we could see in between the trees were ocean and that’s what they called ocean view. We were on the the 1st floor so it is possible that the room on the 2nd floor right above us had a clear or partial view of the ocean but they need to change the description for the 1st floor to garden view. The rooms were hot and stuffy. Too much furniture for the tiny area. I would not recommend this to anyone at least for the price we paid. And the front desk lady did not know how to smile and greet. Just opposite from Maui.

Great location with a great beach and the only reason we keep coming back here. The resort itself is getting long in the tooth. Many of the units are tired and in need of updating. Castle resorts is the cheapest and you get what you pay for. The staff always seems a little put out you're bothering them. We've been here multiple times and they couldn't care less, wouldn't know us from Adam.

The Plantation is in a great location. Pros 1. Location. 2. Beds are comfortable. 3. We were right at the edge of the sand. 4. The staff was very friendly. Cons 1. There is no air conditioning. 2. There is little to no beach at the Plantation. 3. The condos are dated and in need to a face lift.

Located on the south shore of Kauai, the Kiahuna Golf Club offers an ocean-view 18-hole par 70 golf course with a Mexican terrace restaurant, practice area, and shop. The club's architecture is inspired by an ancient Hawaiian village, incorporating remnants of 1800s houses and Polynesian archaeology. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course features narrow fairways, lava walls, and stone formations set against a stunning ocean backdrop.
Great golf course for the price. We played at 3pm for $80 including cart. Nice views and was in good condition. Beautiful trees and ruins around course.
Lisa S — Google review
Very fun golf course. There’s a nice mix of wide open holes and tricky holes with water or rocks to avoid. Have played it 4 times on vacation and enjoy it every time. Greens are firm and true. Excellent Mexican restaurant on site. Bunker sand is a little hard. Always a good breeze.
Scott W — Google review
We rented a house on the 18th hole, so we figured we would play Kiahuna Golf Club since it looked pretty nice. Some of the previous reviews were brutal, so we didn’t know what to expect. Our foursome was dropped off at the clubhouse, and we went inside where Scott Muttersbach checked us in, and talked a little Packer football with us. Scott was very laid back, yet very informative about the course and amenities. Being from Arizona, the cost of golf was comparable to where we came from, so we didn’t experience sticker shock for golfing in Kauai. Scott set us up with range balls, and got us out on the scenic range where we warmed up. Went over to Paco’s Tacos which is actually part of the course, grabbed a couple bottles of swing lube, and out to the course we went. Having never played the course before, the course was well marked, and you knew exactly where you had to go. The course fairways were green and lush. The greens were firm and fast, but fair. All in all, the course was very good, the holes scenic, a few views of the ocean, and challenging at points. We had a great time playing 18 holes, grabbed some tacos at Paco’s, and then replayed 9 holes for cheap. We were not held up by slow groups, as the play moved on all holes. If we ever have the chance to play Kiahuna Golf Club again in the future, we definitely would. Nice well maintained course, friendly people, good food, and scenic views.

Don't golf here. It may be the cheapest course on Kauai, but that's the only thing going for it. The gal in the pro shop treated us like cockroaches and clearly found it a bother to sign us in. Getting information from her was like pulling teeth. She acted like we were of inferior intelligence because we asked questions like, e.g., where's the driving range, and where do we get balls? Rude Rude Rude! The course is extremely confusing, and several other couples agreed with us. We teed off from the wrong box on the 8th hole and had to backtrack to get the 7th. The marshal came up to me and accused us, without subtlety, of dishonesty and told me, "You played the 8th hole twice." Not true! We are nice people, and honest as the day is long. For this guy to come up and question my integrity was beyond the pale. If you own and/ or manage this golf course, feel free to respond to this valid complaint about your employees. I will be more than happy to fill in the details. Major thumbs down!!

A beautiful course, very well maintained. Friendly staff. Holes along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific. Back 9 more challenging than the front.

Looking forward to coming back to golf. Ocean view from the range was beautiful. Lunch at Pacos Tacos was so tasty and affordable! Icing on the cake was GREAT customer service from Adrian in the Pro Shop! I'll be back with the cookies! 🍪
Natalie P — Google review
very disappointing customer service. paid full price but they made a mistake and made us play the back 9 twice. when i talked to the clubhouse, their response was simply "you should have played the front 9." that's it. no apology, no refund, no offer to send me out on the front 9. yeah, we're not going back after there was no attempt to correct their mistake.

The property boasts spacious 3-4 bedroom poolside villas and 2-5 bedroom garden villas, all beautifully appointed with dark wood and comfortable furniture. Location Location amenities! Easily the best and nicest condos to stay at on the south side. Walk to beach, amazing pools, incredible gym, clubhouse, tennis courts... This complex has it all and the accommodations are top-notch. F100 has 4 bedrooms, 4 bath and 2 outside showers! The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated and roomy. It had everything you could think of for the kitchen and a trip to the beach. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This is for the Villas and not the individual AirBNB in which we stayed. The grounds are very well kept. Pool is clean and the grills by the pool are clean and covered and powered by natural gas so you never have to worry about it running out. the fitness center is nice with a variety of equipment to keep you busy. The location is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to everything else. We had a very nice stay!

Title: Perfect Kauai Getaway – Spacious, Peaceful, and Steps from the Beach 🌺 We had an incredible stay at the Villas at Poipu Kai! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how beautiful, clean, and spacious the villa was. The layout was perfect for our family — plenty of room to relax together and also enjoy our own space. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the lanai was our favorite spot for morning hangouts. The booking process was seamless, and we felt supported every step of the way. Communication was clear and friendly, which made planning our trip stress-free. The location couldn’t be better — just a short, scenic walk to both Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. The grounds are lush and well-kept, with a lovely pool and hot tub area that felt like a tropical oasis. What really made the trip special was the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. It truly felt like our home away from home. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend the Villas at Poipu Kai for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of Hawaiian paradise. 🌴

We have been to Kauai many many times. Great location for this villa, path easily walkable to beach. We didn’t get an ocean view though would in the future. Overall very clean. Kind people managing it, well stocked kitchen, roomy for multiple people, each bedroom had bath associated or en suite so convenient for multiple people, overall a good stay would recommend it. The fitness center is available and the pool just downstairs. There is an elevator which is a plus. Overall would rank this as a roomy villa, access to beach path, clean, well maintained. Good for families or multiple parties coming to stay.

I'm going to give you the bad first: There were enough "little things" (sheets with make-up stains, bad router in one of the two villas we all stayed in, unwashed dishes in cupboards, etc) that I can't give it 5 stars on the Rooms... THAT SAID: DANG. THIS PLACE ROCKS. I have never been happier on vacation and these villas were definitely a part of it! Great location!
Hannibal L — Google review
Expensive but worth it. spacious fully stocked condo with beautiful furnishings. Booked through Parrish Kauai and had a good experience. I’d recommend a second floor unit. The lanai was huge. This is a very family friendly complex and can be loud. We spent time everyday at the pool, my son was able to play with other kids while I sat in the hot tub :) no parking late at night, but usually a few spots during the day. Although this was a great place to stay, I missed being oceanfront and listening to waves. It’s a stroll to the beach, nice walk in the evening but not with all your beach gear. We ended up driving mostly.

Kauai is the best. The Villas are independently owned so it’s hard to review all of them. I love Kauai for its more natural feeling than the other islands. People are nice, hospitality is fantastic. Life is slower on Kauai, which makes for a much more enjoyable experience.

Makahuena at Poipu offers a charming escape with its warmly decorated condos that boast stunning ocean views. This relaxed resort features an inviting outdoor pool and well-maintained grounds, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. While some units are available for short-term rental, it's important to remember that many residents call this place home, so maintaining a peaceful atmosphere is key. Guests can enjoy lovely sunset vistas from select condos and take advantage of the clean barbecue grills and easy parking.
It's a absolutely gorgeous and memorable experience for the whole family. The beach is located 2min down the road and 5min walking distance. The condos are surrounded by sea turtles and at the right time of day you can enjoy the breathtaking view of dolphins jumping out of the water. I absolutely recommend a vacation here.

No AC. Minimal supplies in the condo, no spices. Close to poipu beach. Nice walk/hike on the coast. Poor communication. Charged for extra fees. Dated and needs a deep clean!Avoid.

The units are desperately in need of an update. The outlets are corroded and a little scary. Location is good and price is reasonable for Kuaui. Would it kill y'all to put salt n pepper in the kitchen??!

A dated but comfortable condominium complex with a nice clean pool, lovely sunset views from some condos, plus the lawn and lavarock seafront (with a path that leads to that). Good b-b-q grills, easy parking, about a 10-15 min walk to a good stretch of swimming beach. A bit further to the Marriot beachside dining area that was pretty good and on the "affordable" (for Hawaii) side. Now, go out and play' kids!

It was pretty nice. I was on the couch, which was comfy enough. The view of the ocean though? Unforgettable. You could see so many turtles! But its definitely not a swim beach. It's rocky and sharp. Also, everywhere you go, there are lizards. Tiny ones, huge ones. The pool was nice and clean. If we came back we would stay here again.

We booked this through Vrbo in Kauai. The place is a little hard to find due to confusing signage. The emails said Parrish and for some time and we were happily following them. Then they disappeared. Turns out the place is also called Nihi Kai Villas. While they do note it in the confirmation email, it does drowned out in the numerous references to Parrish. So we spend a fair bit of time driving around Nihi Kai looking for our unit. Finally a friendly local pointed us in the right direction. I wanted to get this out of the way first because other than this minor inconvenience the place is near perfect. The surrounding area is lush and very well maintained. There is ample parking and the units are awesome. They were much larger than we expected. The kitchen was really well stocked. The unit had two balconies and a patio - all with table and chairs to sit. They had a big screen TV (could not figure to get it work but that was not important for us). The location is also very nice. Walking distance to the Poipu beach but far enough to be quiet and secluded. Highly recommended!

An amazing way to spend your time in Kauai, highly recommend to anyone planning a family vacation! The condo was very spacious and all 4 family members were working remotely at points of the trip, there was space for all of us to work comfortably. I loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the ocean view. Would 100% come again

I have been coming to this island for years. The Parrish Collection has NEVER let me down for value, comfort and making me feel at home. My options are always a hotel, or a condo. Pay for parking and internet, or enjoy the spaciousness of home. This trip is the Mini Kai, where I have stayed many times. The units are well maintained, spacious, neighbors are friendly and the view speaks for itself. Have not had any maintenance issues during the years but have had coworkers with issues, that were fixed same day so that is impressive. This island is very peaceful and laid back, so why deal with a 90sq ft room, when you can have it all. Kitchen, laundry, view, not meeting neighbors in a hallway, etc...

Pili Mai at Poipu offers air-conditioned accommodations with free WiFi and access to an outdoor swimming pool. The condos are located in Poipu, close to Kiahuna Shopping Center, featuring 2 to 4 bedrooms and townhouse-style architecture with garages for most units. Guests can expect well-equipped units with amenities such as a TV, kitchen, dining area, and private bathroom. Some rooms also feature a patio or balcony.
Easiest to say about this is that it was accommodating and beyond expectations with regards to almost all amenities of the place. The experience was great, and everything was provided from utensils to friendly gifts to entertainment and even bikes. The host has given their best for the renters to have a good experience. I may sound like a I own this place who just wants to put a 5/5-star feedback but all I can say is however much I paid for this accommodation it's worth every penny of our stay. Highly recommended.

Overall the condos are really nice, but probably depends more on who you rent from. The location is great to get to everything you would want to do on the south side of the island. From the catamaran trips to driving the canyon. Some nice beaches too. Overall I would stay again, but personally rather be closer to the water. It is about a mile walk. The pool is nice, but nothing special.

What a great experience. The workout space is great, equipped with treadmills/ellipticals, weights and mats. The pool area is super nice. There’s a kid pool, about a foot deep, a large “grown-up” pool, and a hot tub! The condos all seem pretty lovely. The one we stayed in was 2 bedrooms, both en-suites (bathroom in room). Fully stocked with everything we’d need to cook, do laundry, and have a great stay! Would definitely stay here again.

This place was great for our stay in Kauai, booked through Airbnb and there was no issues getting checked in. The condo looks/is exactly as described, love the fact that it has AC. The hot tub is huge so even with other parties there you can still distance yourself. I'm sure each condo is different, but 4 stars instead of 5 for me because the beds and pillows are terrible, I hated waking up sore.

Suite Paradise is a spacious apartment located in Poipu, just a short walk from Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach. It has received high ratings for its convenient location, cleanliness, and overall experience. The 1,700 square foot apartment can comfortably accommodate up to six guests with its two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Guests have praised the well-equipped and comfortable condo that offers everything needed for relaxation and adventure. The central location provides easy access to a beautiful beach within walking distance.
We stayed this last weekend at the Regency with 3 kids, my wife and myself. Every time we go to Kauai we choose Suite Paradise because of their attention to detail and great prices. We were a block away from the beach and close to everything we needed. We toured the island and were never farther than 10 mins from a grocery store or restaurant. Thanks so much for an amazing memory and a great place to stay. See you guys soon!! Highly recommend.

After staying here 6 times in past 12 years, recommending this place to countless family and friends, this place is no longer what first appealed. Our latest stay was in unit 310, which had no a/c and was not advertised as such. Perhaps that wouldn't be bad enough, but it also looks like the unit is infested with mold and stale smell since it was built in the 80s. The ceiling fans don't go up in speed, the two included fans in the rooms were literally rusted though because they're so old and the unit is so swampy. The bathrooms were disgusting with permanent stains and the fixtures were literally rusted though because of the incessant moisture. Now I would give this unit 2/5 because you could technically sleep there, but the service desk absolutely sucks so this is an overall rating of 1/5. We called on the checking day to bring up the issues with no response to our voicemail. Next day I went to the office in person, they told me they were working on a replacement unit possibility and would get back to me that evening. They looked me in the eye, told me they have our number and would work on it. Four days later no call back, this time an excuse that manager is out and to come back when we check out for remedy. Came there on checkout and manager not in, promised to call back. Five days after nothing from them. I was holding back this review because I thought maybe they'd step up and do the right thing but I'm thinking this place is just a total overall dump now, it's not the same customer service that they had years ago. Do yourself a favor and rent from a competitor, many of these same units are advertised on Airbnb and you'll get better service in case you have issues.
O L — Google review
We stayed at 1103 Manoaloha. The staff is courteous and the villa nice. Close to the beach, beautiful property on Poipu. It's a bit old fashioned but still functional. The views are great but we couldn't go on the patio since there was a gecko family living there :) The kitchen is updated and we were able to cook our breakfasts easily. The issue of 3 star- the AC doesn't work. The portable unit made so much noise on the first night that we couldn't sleep. Called for maintenance but they did minimal asking us to be patient and let it cool for few hrs! We had to sleep on the carpet in the living room for the rest of our stay (since it had a natural breeze coming from the garden behind). They didn't send anyone to replace the unit as promised thus it was disappointing. The units should not be advertised as air conditioned.

Good location on south side of Kauai. Walking distance to Brennecke, Poipu, and Shipwreck beaches. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. We stayed in unit Regency 221 and it had plenty of room for our party of 6. We used the kitchen mostly for breakfast and lunches. It was well fitted for preparing meals with the exception of no spices other than salt and pepper. AC works well which is nice to have after Beach days on sunny south. 🌞

We just got back from our Hawaiian vacation and have to say—Suite Paradise was excellent! The condo we stayed in, Kahala 112, had a nice ocean and garden view, was beautiful, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. When we arrived, we had a small request, and Suite Paradise responded within the hour to make sure everything was perfect. Their service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be booking through them for all our future Kauai vacations!

Poipu Kai resort is in a fabulous location, requiring minimal driving for our twelve day stay. The Suite Paradise team was very responsive, and quickly resolved requests. In our unit, Regency 310, there were numerous issues. The carpeting was dirty, the mattresses were extremely hard, there were stains on the bathtub and sheets. The unit does not have filtered water, the first few days of drinking tap water caused intestinal issues. Not all of the screens were usable. Windows are old and outdated. There is an air mattress in the unit without a valve plug to contain air. Ceiling fans are dirty. Cats have taken up housing on the lanais. Appliances need updating.

We recently stayed in Poipu at the Poipu Kai Resort, Kahala 432. The accommodations were as described. The unit was very roomy. The location was perfect. It was our first visit to Kauai. The condo was centrally located and allowed us to venture out and enjoy the entire island. The lanai was great and had a view of the ocean in the distance. The paved walkways throughout the resort made it easy to get to the beach (5 minute walk), on-site restaurant, pools and tennis courts. We didn’t use the pool, tennis courts, or access to the athletic club. We did enjoy having beach chairs and towels available and used them several times throughout our stay. The in-unit washer/dryer was a plus. We appreciated the quietness of the complex. A few reviews had said the road noise was loud. We didn’t find that to be the case. We slept with louvers open and only ceiling fan on and had no problem getting to sleep. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a problem figuring out the cable. Sean came to our unit, patiently walked us through the process and provided some dining suggestions. We would recommend booking with Suite Paradise in Kauai and their sister company, I Go Maui in Maui.

Whether you're looking for cozy cottages, spacious homes, or modern condos, you'll find options in both the north and south regions of Kauai. The southern shore is particularly enchanting with its stunning landscapes and pristine beaches like Poipu Beach.
My fiancé and I had the best time at our condo rental 500 Bay Drive 31 B1 Lahaina by Kapalua Bay in Maui. The condo has an amazing ocean view, hiking all around the complex and a 10 minute walk to the beach with awesome snorkeling. It was such a wonderful time and the place was so clean!

I was fined $500 for innocently carrying a ceramic coffee mug into the pool area — no glass was broken, and no harm was caused whatsoever. This severe risk was never disclosed in booking materials or at check-in, and the only notice was a small, hard-to-read sign on the pool door that suggests the fine applies only if glass breaks. I tried to dispute this charge in good faith, but The Parrish Collection refused to do anything. This excessive, punitive charge cast a shadow over what was supposed to be a celebratory trip, leaving me feeling blindsided and very disappointed. I would never trust The Parrish Collection again, and would strongly suggest that Kauai visitors stay elsewhere — somewhere where they are not monitored on video as if in a police state nor fined excessively for innocent, harmless mistakes.

I loved staying at the Plantation resort on Poipu Beach. But I would never rent a property from the Parrish Group Kauai group again. When we arrived to our property. I walked in the one bedroom and slid across the floor banging into the wall. I could not see there was a huge puddle of water the entire length of the king size bed on the far side. The A/C unit was dripping out water down the side of the wall across a 12-16 inch area. Note the photos that is the pictures below the A/C. We arrived when it was dark so I was entering the room to turn on the light on the night stand. Needless to say we called their emergency line. The lady told me someone would be right out. A hour later I texted her again. She told me another hour. 2 hours later. Another 45 minute. Mind you we had traveled all day and it was well past midnight for us at 9pm Hawaiian time. The woman was rude. Two gentleman showed up at 11:10 pm Hawaiian time. They were nice. But could not fix and told us to just turn the A/C off and not use it. So that’s what we did. After all the back and forth and how rude the woman was we decided we would wait for them to initiate the repair. Three days later, yes three days later a man showed up unannounced to fix the A/C. No call. No warning. Nothing. He was super nice and fixed it immediately. I had used all our towels mopping up the water the first night. I asked for clean towels. And for the wet ones to be taken away. Another woman told me there was already enough towels. I told her the situation and that their ad said I could REQUEST clean towels anytime during my stay. 6 hours later they showed up with clean towels. I requested 4 more towels 4 days later. They told me I would have to pay $55.00 for more towels. Despite the ad. No one ever called to make sure the A/C was addressed. They offered no refund even though we paid for A/C and did not have it for 3 days. The damaged photo hung our entire visit. If you want to see the text exchanges I have with their rude workers just ask. Or the photo of my left side black and blue from falling in the water just ask. Don’t rent from Parrish. Find another rental agency. The plantations are wonderful units. Just beware of who you rent from. P.S. If you are trying to intimidate me by announcing what I do for work. It didn't work. The sun was not shining. There was a huge rain storm. It was a onslaught of rain the sky covered in clouds. No sun at all. Go back and look at the weather that afternoon. No my fall did not require emergency services. And no. no one contacted me from your company. Not one person. It was not a clogged drain. It was a broken air compressor. And when I return home I will post the dated photo with the worker working on it. Who showed up 3 days later. If you continue to harass me for telling the truth. I will be posting all over about my experience on every site I find. And as I noted you did replace the towels until two days later. I will be posting the text I received on the day I got the towels when I locate it tonight and adding it to this review.

We just stayed for a week at Poipu Sands properties, unit #521. This was our first visit to Kauai, although we've been to other islands previously. First the view and the location are incredible. We loved hearing the waves throughout the day and night, hearing the birds wake us each morning, walking around the beautiful property and eating meals on the lanai. We spent most of our days out experiencing Kauai and mostly were at the rental only for breakfast and sleeping. While Shipwreck beach isn't a swimming beach, the surf is incredible and stunning to watch. The adjacent hotel grounds are beautiful and open to walk through. The Maha'ulepu trail and Makawehi bluff are nearby as well and enjoyable places to see the sunrise. The pool was accessible, clean and very fun. The unit was a perfect size for our group of 4 adults. We felt like we had plenty of room to spread out. The unit is a little dated (kitchen, bathrooms and furniture) and the proximity to the ocean accelerates wear on metal surfaces in particular. The carpets are in need of replacement and have a lot of staining. The kitchen is functional, but a little small to have more than one person in the kitchen cooking or preparing food, and the grout could use some freshening up. All this being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat as the location and views are unbeatable and the accommodations more than met our needs. Mahalo and a hui hou.

We had a wonderful experience with Parrish resorts. We recently had a stay at Nihi Kai. From check in to check out everything was seamless. We had communication with the property manager leading up to our check in date and the unit was ready at check in time with an easy check in process. Our unit was clean and there were even welcome gifts. The ground keepers were the nicest men. Everyday they were out keeping the grounds perfect and cleaning the pool every morning. They were so nice and friendly. We were sad that we did not have a chance to say goodbye to them in our final day. The on site manager was more than helpful. When packages were delivered from Amazon he would let us know. We were able to borrow tennis rackets and balls from him during our stay. He even helped us out with any supplies that we needed.

We stayed at Kahala 121 for the 2nd time. This unit was great. Parrish Collection does an outstanding job communicating throughout the stay. The unit had absolutely everything we needed and the perfect location This was our 4th stay with Parrish overall and they will be our first choice on our next visit

The Parrish Collection provided an incredible experience for our Kauai vacation. The staff is so polite and professional, and the quality of the home was nothing short of remarkable. The condo is very tastefully appointed, the great beach so accessible and the ocean view is amazing. I highly recommend Parrish Kauai vacation rentals.

Great location (Nihi Kai - Poipu) that is walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Reasonable price for a great area. Quiet and family friendly. House provides basic necessities for cooking. Beach equipment was also available.

Holiday apartment rental
The Waikomo Stream Villas offer luxurious and spacious accommodations in the perfect location for anyone visiting the Waikomo Valley. The villas are equipped with all the amenities you could want, including a pool and tennis court. With stunning views of the valley, this is an ideal place to enjoy your holiday.
We just finished one week in Waikomo Stream Villas #432. The property is lovely. We loved how it was so quiet, private and tucked away although very centrally located in Poipu Beach. Within walking distance of the beach, although we usually drove due to lots of stuff in our arms. Very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. We had everything we needed, including laundry machines in the unit and even detergent. The lanai was gorgeous. So helpful to have beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella available for our use. We also loved having plenty of fans that we used to dry things overnight. We also loved the lock box at the door - this was more convenient than carrying a key around. Our bed was very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a fantastic week staying here. We would stay here again!!

The accommodations were great. Plenty of space! We arrived to a clean unit. Located close to shops, grocery store and Poipu beach. The premises have a beautiful pool, bbq available. The unit doesnt have a/c but it was fine. Unit has windows all around and leaving them open allows the cool breeze to circulate. The staff were great. We will return.

Great service and really nice facility. We stayed a week and it was about time. The residence was a top floor unit #432 and it felt secluded and open and everything you hope for on a Hawaii getaway. Clean, everything in working order and located so close to everything we came for. 1/2 mile to Poipu and just a stones throw to Kahuna beach. Parking is not an issue as we had plenty usually in the first three stalls. The landscape surrounding it is awesome. Big open trees, lizards, birds, chickens, koi pond. Super outdoorsy we loved it.
Darin P — Google review
An absolute jewel with ON-site grill by stream, pool w/baby pool, koi ponds, and sounds like you're in a jungle paradise. OFF-site most units have Poipu Athletic Club access, close access at back gate to beach/ocean, nearby shopping village, easy access to Port Allen for boat cruises, shopping in Lihui, and Kipu 4-wheeler tours.
Guy S — Google review
Nice location, little bit dated, but very large one bedroom. Formica countertops and old furniture. Very spacious and very well stocked. Our condo came with everything from extension cords to body boards. Great value for the area. Could probably afford to be maintained a little better, though. But you just can't beat the value. To my knowledge, there is no hot tub on the property. It looks like there is but it's just a really deep, cold pool. Not sure what's up with that.
Jordan H — Google review
Stayed in 520. The villas were clean and felt like home. Being on the island is a sure sign you will need a washing machine. These villas have a washer and dryer in the units. Made a HUGE difference! The number of fans in the unit allowed for great airflow if you leave the windows open at night. The sounds of nature were welcoming, as when you live in the city you don't get to hear the habitat near you that often. Novella at the front office was a gem. She made great suggestions and arrangements for us when we asked where to go for this and that. Great stay! Highly recommended.
Maruja T — Google review
These units give you the feeling of seclusion with all the plant life and trees. Of course, I've only been in one unit, but it was spacious, clean, and very nice furnishings. Kitchen had all you'd need for cooking nice meals. Nice pool and surrounding area, too. I'd would definitely stay again.
K D — Google review
Visited a family member who stayed there. Very expensive for what you get. It was a small one bedroom apartment with no real outlook except for a manufactured stream and garden out the back. Otherwise you're straight into everyone else's place. It was clean and had a modern kitchen. Apart from that I can only say that I wouldn't have wanted to stay there.

If you're dreaming of a serene getaway, look no further than the Bird of Paradise Vacation Rental Home. Nestled just a short stroll from the stunning Po'ipu Beach, this charming abode offers an ideal retreat for families or groups. With two spacious bedrooms—one featuring a king bed and another with twin singles—there's ample room for everyone to unwind comfortably. Mornings can be spent sipping coffee on the inviting lanai while evenings are perfect for enjoying cocktails as you soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
Our adult children and their spouses, a family of seven in total, had a terrific experience at Bird of Paradise. The home was spacious enough for everyone to have their own area, yet the lanai, living room and dining room were perfect for us to be together. We loved the sunrise from the porch and the outdoor eating area. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a wonderful selection of beach items for us to use. We walked to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach and enjoyed some great hiking within walking distance of the house. There was so much to do within a short drive. Ning, the owner, and Evan, the property manager, couldn’t have been more helpful before and during our stay. This is just a wonderful home.

Our family had waited 2 years to finally be able to visit Kauai. We are frequent guests of the island but it was our first time staying at the Bird of Paradise home. And paradise is what it was. The home is beautiful, with wonderful views, gorgeous walks and a location close to all of our favorite Poipu spots. We had everything we needed for our family vacation. The kitchen was very well appointed, the bedrooms roomy and the living space large and welcoming. The owner could not have been more pleasant to deal with. We are already looking at dates to return. The Bird of Paradise home is a true gem on the Garden Isle.

I did a lot of researching on homes and places to stay for our 5 adults and 3 children, wanting to make sure that everything was the best and would be the most comfortable with a great location. I am so glad we decided on Ning's Bird of Paradise home. It was just perfect!! You really need to look no further. I can't say enough about this home and the family felt the same way. It was just so comfortable and allows everyone to have their own space as well as being together in a lot of space inside and out. The pool was such an added bonus for our grandkids. Everything and more is there that you need. We couldn't believe how many beach items they had available and the kitchen so well equipped. We never felt the need to contact Evan or Ning because everything we needed was there and so much information. The views were stunning and we loved watching the sunrise and sunset from both in the house and on the deck, and walking to the lava rock (by trail) to the sunrise on the ocean. We did drive to the beach to carry all our stuff and with the baby. Ning, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this property and can't say enough good things about it and the amenities! Mahalo Ning!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bird of Paradise home celebrating my father’s 80th birthday. The home was spacious for the 8 adults who stayed there. Everything was clean and in working order, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was warm. The views were stunning and we loved watching the sunrise from both in the house and on the deck. Walking distance from the beaches, although we drove to carry all our stuff. Evan, the property manager, was there to great us and was in contact throughout the week to see if we needed anything and to let us know about local events going on. Ning, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and she helped us arrange a photo shoot on Shipwreck Beach for my dad’s 80th birthday celebration. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing!! I'm still speechless at how beautiful this island is. The Bird of Paradise home was absolutely perfect for our 8 day stay and accommodated 3 couples very nicely. Very clean and is fully equipped, literally has everything you need for your stay. The pool is great and the view from any spot on the huge wrap around balcony is breathtaking. Close to the beaches and restaurants. Best time ever!!!

Our Family stayed at Bird of Paradise for a week long vacation. We cannot say enough great things. From the moment I first inquired with the owner to the end of our say, we everything we imagined and more. The house manager quickly answered any questions we had and was thorough in the tour of the property. The home was clean, spacious and had everything we could have possibly needed for daily beach adventures. We look forward to when we can stay again!!

Great vacation condo. Amazing view from the lanai. Spacious and great for families. Within walking distance to shopping plaza.

Our recent experience with Anne and Cathy at Poipu Connection Realty was outstanding. It was just before the back-to-back hurricanes were to hit the big island and we questioned going to Kauai or not. Anne and Cathy were very accommodating, understanding and available as we checked the weather and conditions to make a final decision. Even last year when we made our original reservations, everyone was helpful and communicated in a timely manner. Although there were some things with our accommodations we wish we'd known ahead of time, it was not the realty company's fault. They even let us mail a package ahead of time to them, leaving it at our rental.

We did an Airbnb within this condo and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing 🤩 Super close to the beach, which is kind of split into three distinct parts: the boogie boarding beach, the wave protected kiddie beach, and the swim/snorkeling beach. If you're lucky, you will see sea turtles and seals sunbathing nearby. Also, amazing view of sunsets. Anyways, condo location is absolutely perfect, and the up keep of the condos and parking is fantastic

We rented condo #3. You will be hard pressed to find a better location for a place with 2-bedrooms. We had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean and all the extra amenities were there (detergent for laundry and dished, etc.). We would recommend this to anyone. The ac worked great in the bedrooms. It could get a little warm in the main rooms during the day, but we were hardly there before sunset.

Rented condo #3, great place, well furnished. Great value. The espresso machine was broken and they replaced it right away with top quality appliance. Out unit did not have air conditioning though, which was kind of tough because we had to leave the window open at night and roosters woke us up at 5ish in the morning.
