Koa Pancake House is a casual chain that offers a Hawaiian twist on classic breakfast and lunch dishes. The menu features a variety of options such as omelets, waffles, pancakes, crepes, sandwiches, French toast, eggs, bacon and more. It's known for its affordable prices and generous portions. The restaurant has garnered praise for its quick and friendly service as well as its cleanliness protocols.
If you’re a breakfast kind of person, I’d highly suggest giving them a visit. Not only if their menu full of options for breakfast items, but they include a lot of local favorite and you can customize anything. The location in Kapolei is very diner style. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. It’s small so sometimes there could be a line outside depending on the time and day you go. I’d suggest getting pancakes for the table unless you’re really hungry. The pancakes themselves are on the larger side and so fluffy and delicious! The French Toast is made with sweet bread so it’s incredibly flavorful even without the toppings or syrup. There are no bathrooms inside the restaurant however, there are bathrooms in the strip mall that you need a key for, just ask the person at the counter.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Casual dining with delicious food. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the customers also! Food portions are very generous and everyone in our party loved the food. One customer recommended the Koa Moco with Fried Rice and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
Kristin K — Google review
I love atmosphere and the food was awesome. You get a lot of food for the price!
Kalama — Google review
Great customer service and large food portions for the price. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I’m from the south and used to the syrup being sweet. The food was more healthier than I expected. So if you love healthy food options this is definitely the place to visit. I visited with my family and we enjoyed ourselves and the food. Also no public restroom 😏
Ayanna H — Google review
Dedicated and cheerful staff. Consistent and friendly Everytime. Such a versatile menu they serve breakfast lunch dinner with various starch options such as rice hash browns home style potatoes incredible selection of pancakes reasonably priced too.
Peter — Google review
You hungry? Then you need to go here for authentic Hawaiian breakfast and lunch. Good food at good prices with large portions. I had the Koa Moco which was great. My friend had the Kalbi and he said it was good also. The pancake breakfast items looked great also which will be what I have next time I go.

Amazing food! Must try the frief potatoes and the pancakes were some of the best I've ever had! My husband had the mahi mahi and he loved it too! Edit: 4 days later after original review: we have eaten at Koa Pancake House every morning of our visit here and ever meal has been amazing! Be sure to try the fried rice with eggs! Super good! I can't wait to come back!

I brought my husband to one of my favorite childhood places for brunch, & I’m proud to say that this lived up to my memories. My husband also enjoyed the local breakfast platters. We recommend this place for both locals & tourists.

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in an unassuming shopping center on Oahu, Hawaii, My Cafe has become a beloved spot for locals and tourists since its establishment in 2014. This bustling counter-serve eatery is renowned for its inventive pancakes and offers a diverse menu featuring American and Hawaiian fusion cuisine. From fluffy omelets bursting with fillings like kalua pig to delectable pancake flights including flavors like cookie butter and passion fruit, there's something to tantalize every palate.
This was such a great place! Literally my favorite restaurant that we went during our trip. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like all your friends and family are there. The food was absolutely delicious!!!! We ordered fried rice and kulua pork and everything was made to perfection!!!! And I can't forget the flight of pancakes, those were my favorite thing specially the one that is fried. Definitely recommend!
Melisa M — Google review
The food wasn't bad, and I enjoyed the Malasada Pancakes, though very greasy if u saved some for later. The wait wasn't bad, but trying to get a table wasn't enjoyable. The waitress straight up ignored us and walked past us a few times. We had to walk up to someone to get put on the waiting list. Luckily we had a different waitress serve us once we did get a table. I'd take out next time if I really wanted something, but there are so many better breakfast/brunch places with great service that I'd rather spend my money at.
Onna — Google review
Small diner in Kapolei that has a solid menu to choose from. Ate here with family and enjoyed the food we ordered. Not too long of a wait and service was pretty good. Great place to have brunch with friends.
Don O — Google review
If you’re in Kapolei and looking for a spot that delivers both great food and friendly service, My Cafe is a must-try. We stopped in and were impressed right from the start—our server was warm, attentive, and made us feel at home. Wait for 6 people was 10-15 mins. It’s a small restaurant, but worth the wait!!! The food definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered a spread that included their fried rice, crispy potatoes and garlic truffle potatoes (OMG), veggie omelette, kalua pork, eggs benedict, and of course their house coffee. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The loco moco was so amazing! The flight of pancakes which had 3 mini sets of flavors to include cookie butter, lilikoi and ube. I also ordered the cookie buttah waffle…yum oh! The fried rice was hearty and packed with flavor, the kalua pork was tender, and the eggs benedict had that perfect balance of richness without being too heavy. The veggie omelette was fresh and filling, while the potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft inside—just right. Pairing it all with their smooth house coffee made the meal complete. What really stood out was how everything tasted homemade yet polished, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. You can tell this is a place that cares about quality and consistency. Overall, My Cafe hits the sweet spot between comfort food and a cafe-style vibe. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.
K 8 — Google review
Loved the BEAST eggs Benedict, pancake flight, and furikake spam and eggs plate! Huge portions for a great price! Definitely worth the drive from town, but be prepared to wait if it’s crowded! This place is popular for a good reason—great food and great service!☺️
Ali G — Google review
(Late Review from April 6, 2025) This is a late review from my visit in April, but My Cafe in Hawaii left such an impression that I had to write it. It’s hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I don’t say that lightly—I’m usually the type who refuses to wait more than 30 minutes for a table anywhere. But for My Cafe, I’ll gladly make an exception every single time. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the people make it worth every second. The dish that keeps me coming back every trip is the Country Fried Steak. Let me be clear: I’m originally from Virginia, raised on true country fare, and I’ve had Country Fried Steak from the East Coast to the West. I even make a mean one myself. But nothing compares to My Cafe’s. Their version is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—crispy, tender, smothered in the most flavorful gravy, served up with eggs and potatoes that complete the plate perfectly. It’s the star of the show every single time. Other highlights worth mentioning: Banana Mac Nut Waffle – Fresh bananas, fluffy waffle, and that incredible mac nut sauce. On my last visit, I told the staff this was my last stop before flying back to California and how sad I was it would be awhile before I could return. They surprised me by running out with a Banana Mac Nut Waffle for my kids, free of charge, right before I drove off to the airport. That moment captured the aloha spirit of this place perfectly. Jalapeño Biscuits & Gravy – Fluffy, just the right amount of heat, covered in rich gravy. Comfort food done right. Loco Moco – Pure Hawaiian comfort food. Perfect eggs, savory beef, rich brown gravy over rice. The staff here truly embody aloha. They don’t just serve food—they make you feel like family. And that last-minute act of kindness with the waffle will stick with me forever. No words can really capture how much I love this place. The food is consistently amazing, the staff treat you like family, and every bite feels like Hawaii on a plate. My Cafe is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Mahalo My Cafe. God bless My Cafe, and God bless America. 🌺🇺🇸
Jonathan Y — Google review
Everything about this place is top notch. The panko crusted spam was an exceptional choice and glad I made it, also upgrade the potatoes you won’t regret it. Staff was hands down 5 star.

La Hiki is a contemporary restaurant located at the Four Seasons Resort in Ko Olina, offering open-air seating alongside the Ohana Pool. The menu is inspired by the local farms, featuring fresh and sustainable cuisine with poke, salads, steaks, cocktails, and wine. It provides a fine dining experience with impeccable service and an elegant setting. Guests can enjoy traditional breakfast offerings or indulge in the famed a la carte Brunch For All Seasons on weekends.
Restaurant outlet inside Four Seasons Hotel Oahu. This is also the restaurant for serving breakfast. Breakfast can be buffet or a la carte. Buffet selection is pretty good. Although the best breakfast buffet I found was at Four Seasons Bangkok. Fresh juices are served here. A bit disappointing that they do not serve any breakfast steak or some sort of....
Goldy W — Google review
A great local but not the best food. The salad was good. The fish was disappointing, not juicy not much flavor and paired with some green. The dessert tasted sour, sweet and slightly salty at the same time.
Bennett F — Google review
Located in the Four Season’s Hotel at Ko Olina. La Hiki buffet breakfast cost 57$. Opening at 6 am. Very good food. Large buffet choice. You can also order à la carte.
Carine — Google review
When staying at The Four Seasons, this is a great breakfast spot. Buffet or ala cart, you can't go wrong. Great food, great selection. Everything was very tasty. Charge it to your room and don't look at the prices or bill and you'll be much happier. 🙂
Brent B — Google review
I recently dined at La Hiki with my husband, enjoying both the breakfast buffet and brunch. I definitely preferred the breakfast buffet for its variety of dishes! The service was good, and the view of the swimming pool from our table was lovely. Valet parking was very convenient, especially since we were staying at a hotel in Waikiki but chose to come to Four Seasons for their food and the overall experience.
Olga N — Google review
I've been dying to find a local spot in Hawaii for all you can eat Lobster tails. They only have this available for Sunday brunch. Parking is valet only but with validation it is free. Let me just say this place is amazing. My personal favorites were the Prime Rib, Lobster Tails, and Eggs Benedict. The food here was all cooked to perfection. The ambiance here is great as certain seats give you a view of the pool and ocean. The staff is very attentive and will definitely have the plates cleared before you get back to your seat. It also appears that they could possibly accommodate large parties as well assuming you make a reservation ahead of time. We made our reservation for six a few months in advance. I definitely would not hesitate to come back!
Ken L — Google review
Have to say: Jon King (server) was the most gracious, friendly and all around stand up service person we’ve ever had. Very personable and made our dining experience top notch! Will definitely be back, not just for the awesome breakfast buffet, but to see Jon and experience his welcoming and awesome energy.
Ian G — Google review
Shout out to the valet team who were exceptional. (TJ in particular) Overall, food and service were really great. Very much enjoyed the fish sandwich. I sent back the poke bowl due to tuna being a bit off. I think it was just my portion (it was very sinew-y) cause the table next to me loved theirs. I asked, LOL. Our server was super kind about it and switched out the bowl for the sandwich which was stellar. Kids menu came with an out of this world ice cream sandwich according to my little one. It’s definitely good for kids and adults alike. Would definitely go back again for lunch or breakfast.

Fast food restaurant
Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory is a family-owned local chain that offers quick-serve plate lunches, manapua, and noodles in a no-frills setting. The restaurant is known for its very affordable Chinese food with generous servings. While it can be challenging to visit during mid-day due to catering to the lunch crowd, the counter service setup allows for efficient ordering. Despite recent changes in portion sizes and packaging, the food remains great tasting and reasonably priced.
I didn’t have the same experience a lot of the other reviews have mentioned. This was my first time in and once I said that and asked for recommendations the staff was very friendly and super helpful. And the food was really good. This was my first experience with manapua so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fire. If I were staying on the island longer I would definitely go back.
Todd B — Google review
1/13/25 around 8:30 this morning a male Gay worker from Chun Wah Kam Kapolei correcting me after entering the store what door to enter when I was the only customer in the place. Then he had a sarcastic expression when I asked if they had spicy pork hash. (Kalihi store only). I was turned off by his/her attitude that I almost walked out the door. As for the food, I only gave 3 stars because I think their portions in the manapua and pork hash is shrinking.
Sonny E — Google review
20250803 first visit. Two different entry doors: one for takeout/pick up (left) and for dine-in (right). Queue to order at counter first and then bring food to their dining area. Lots of great choices. See photos. Recommend to clean floors & bathrooms tho… got something sticky on bottom of my shoes. TIP: one server for one check/payment. AND know before server calls you up if plate, bowl, etc…
TeenaSanFran S — Google review
I ordered 1 lb charsiu by phone. When I took it home I wasn’t sure why the color looked pinkish instead of red.
Chow — Google review
Hong kong noodles are so soft and tasty! Spicy eggplant was delicious. Garlic chicken had great flavor but was kinda rubbery like it had been sitting there awhile. Pork hash was good. Chinese mustard and shoyu hit the spot!
Wendy W — Google review
I ordered 2 plates, a couple of manapua and gau gee to take to the beach after hubz got off work. Hubz loved his plate. He had Portuguese Sausage fried rice, ginger chicken fried rice, spicy garlic chicken, and lemon chicken. My plate consisted of all hong kong noodles, lemon chicken, and pork with eggplant. My hong kong noodles were a bit sour... which is typical for end of day pickings... I've never been able to figure out which vegetable makes dishes go sour so quickly. I experience this with Korean side dishes from time to time... 😒 🤔 something to Google later. The gaugee was a bit soggy, most likely due to the steam of the steamed manapua packed in the same box. To be fair, we did pick up this online order in the late afternoon within the last hour before they were closing for the day. Other than that, the food was good as always. The staff working to clean up when I arrived was friendly, which was extremely appreciated as I had my son, who is on the spectrum with me. He seemed hesitant walking through the front doors with me, which is common for places he's not familiar with but loves music, which was playing and echoing throughout the space. The girlie who greeted me and brought our food out smiled at him, and there was a bench for him to sit on to practice waiting for me. That made me relax and be able to breathe easier. Thank you for that. 😊 Sorry - I didn't take pictures as this review wasn't done on that day, and I forgot to take some. 😅 They're very generous with their portions. Going to Chun Wah Kam is never a mistake. It's good flavorful comfort food that can easily put you down for a minute. It's kind of hard to stop because it's so good. Lol. Pro tip: Bring a thermal bag that'll fit your plate and/or box so you won't have to leave your delicious leftovers in a hot car should you decide to go shopping after eating. Leftovers are bomb the next day. Just saying.
K M — Google review
Quick service and more seats than the Ala Moana location. Portion servings are always huge. Go early for more Manapua and Dim Sum options; they sell out fast.
Ouija S — Google review
Yum yum dim sum . In my humble opinion this is arguably the best manapua / pork has on the island sold in a shop.

Restaurant
Ramen Bones is a Japanese restaurant located in a strip mall, offering a casual dining experience with a focus on comfort food such as ramen noodles and gyoza. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, natural ingredients prepared in a healthy manner to provide nutritious meals. Customers can enjoy cozy surroundings while dining in, or opt for take-out or delivery. Visitors have consistently praised the exceptional dining experience, highlighting the quality and quantity of dishes as well as the impeccable service.
I love this place. This restaurant has a quaint charm. Today a friend took me out to lunch, we enjoyed the food and the great service. They have a extensive menu with so many options. Very delicious. You won't be disappointed. Great for takeout too.
Tari M — Google review
I highly recommend the finest Japanese restaurant in Kapolei. Our dining experience has consistently been exceptional, as every dish we've ordered showcases excellence in both quality and quantity. The culinary creations are skillfully seasoned, leaving a lasting impression. Furthermore, the service provided is impeccable, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The efficiency in delivering our orders is remarkable, making it an excellent value for the price.
Smiles — Google review
Went here for the first time the other day with my wife and it was absolutely incredible. Hands down the best ramen I've had on island thus far. Gyoza was fresh and made in-house. The broath was deep, rich and full of flavor. We heard the fried rice is very good and will definitely ve coming back to try it out. P.S.- the portions are a little on the bigger side so make sure to come with an appetite!
Gage P — Google review
I had high hopes for Ramen Bones. Good reviews. Near my hotel. But, for me, less than stellar. My takeout Charsiu Ramen looked good. Ingredients nested in a container above the broth. After combining them though, I discovered very salty broth, with pork less tender than it could have been. The broth could also have used just a touch more oil for a better mouth feel. (Yes... that's a thing! Especially with ramen.) I was going to eat in, but the place was empty, and too cold for me. A couple of other take out orders were filled while I waited, which didn't take long. With so many choices nearby, I think I'll try another next time.
Ernie H — Google review
Mom and pop shop, gotta love'em! Their mini deals are great deals, potentially 2 ppl could share one for 15.95.. seriously good eats and cheap for Hawaiian standards. Ramen good, udon good, katsu good.... We good!
Chris C — Google review
Super friendly staff and outstanding ramen! I didn't take a picture but we had the egg rolls and they were just as good! Service was super fast! They were crowded when we went (6pm on a Tuesday), but the wait wasn't too long. Glad we waited it out!
Kristine W — Google review
This is my first review in my 31 years of existence. I am so disappointed. We went there at 9:01 asked the guy if we can dine in he said “NO! Only take out after 9” and he even said wait outside. We went outside Sat at the front to wait for the food and decided to eat there as well, after couple minutes another costumers arrived and asked if they still open and to my surprise they let them dine in. This is not good , this is discrimination. He needs to treat all the customers fairly. His behavior is very inconsiderate. We just want to eat ramen!
Rhomarh M — Google review
Prices are reasonable here. The food was tasty. The couldnt rare higher because they didnt fill up our water. We had to ask them three times to fill water. The ramen and 2 sides are a good deal. Would recommend for those who like Ramen.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is a popular yakiniku restaurant where diners can grill their own food at the table. The spacious and clean restaurant offers a variety of tender and delicious meats, complemented by flavorful sauces. Customers recommend trying the skirt steaks and garlic noodles, as well as enjoying the fun experience of cooking different dishes on the grill. The friendly service and reasonable prices make it a highly recommended dining spot for those looking for an enjoyable and interactive meal.
Lots of meat selections! We had a reservation for 5 at 6pm. We were able to sit down immediately once we arrived. Our server was very polite, made sure we were always taken care of. The food was fantastic. Everything looked great on the menu so we had trouble choosing. Do get the beef tongue and the kalbi though as those were my favorites.
Reuben — Google review
This is a great place, especially if you know how to grill meats yourself. This is a dining experience, so plan on taking your time, about an hour and 1/2. Well worth it. Your server will help if you have any questions. *Don't worry about the photo. My daughter was ahead of the rest of us and working on a smore.*

The food was amazing, high-quality cuts of meat and you get to cook it Japanese style so many options. Paige was my server she went above and beyond so friendly.
SHANE S — Google review
We had a fantastic experience thanks to our amazing server, Ola! She was the highlight of our evening—super friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with our order. Ola gave us great recommendations, especially when it came to choosing meats that were just as delicious as the premium options but more budget-friendly. Her service was top-notch—honestly, some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Thank you, Ola, for making our night so enjoyable!
R M — Google review
Conceptually it's a good idea to have a diverse menu such as BBQ and Ramen without a hot pot option. Until your party orders an all u can eat BBQ option and the other Ramen. Restriction #1. Everyone at the table has to order BBQ. BTW, the server announces, she then proceeds to list all of the items that were not available in the all u can eat BBQ. Restriction #2 For the 1st restriction. Its understood the rationale that the other "Ramen" person may lean over and partake in the all u can eat. The amount of restrictions and rules at this restaurant in the end is a hindrance to a diner's experience. Restriction #3 You can order the lunch BBQ options that comes with 2 meats each at 3.5 oz, which by the way includes the weight of marinated meat, so its 2 oz of meat. If you want a certain type of meat, its $3 upgrade. Restriction #4 If you want more rice its $1.50 upgrade. Ordered a side of Gyoza dumplings, Restriction #5, use the Ponzu sauce at the table there is no sauce that accompanies the gyoza. In addition, the Time limits to eat, portion control amounts, upgrades, extra cents for sauces. There are too many bbq chains in Oahu to burden your dining experience to remember the rules and guidelines. Live, eat, and in peace, do yourself a favor go somewhere that welcome customers without a handbook of rules.
MrsOlatubi — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Japanese BBQ experiences I’ve had. Everything was high quality and full of flavor. On top of that, Leah was an amazing server, so attentive, kind, and just really good at what she does. She made the whole experience even better. Great food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back, this will be my new Japanese bbq spot. Thank you.

Hostess did not greet us very friendly when we walked in. There were many tables open but were dirty. We were given a wait time of 30 minutes. The star is because it smelled good inside.
Lendon H — Google review
First time eating here and the food didn't disappoint. We loved to grill our own skirt steaks inside the table. And if you're a noodle fan I highly recommend the garlic noodles. Wife had a local drink and it was pretty good. Nothing fancy here, just a regular restaurant, but some yummy as F food. I recommend the soy tare sauce to dip the steak in before eating it. Definitely eating here again at any location whenever it's available.

We had a group of four ate off the appetizer menu. Oriental Salad was shareable by all and fantastic. The Fry's with pickled Jalapenos and cheese was amazing, The bbq buns and steak taco's exceeded all expectations. We were all very happy with service and food.

The service was outstanding—friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the sizzling La Kalbi, which was perfectly tender and flavorful. The duck fat fried rice was a rich and indulgent treat, and the pork belly bao buns were simply incredible—soft, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Just enjoyed a very tasty lunch at DB Grill. I had an order (2) of fish tacos and a Garlic Shrimp Bowl. The fish tacos were battered and came with some slaw. The garlic shrimp were fairly large and battered in a sweet garlic sauce - almost like a garlic sweet & sour sauce. There were 5 or 6 shrimp on a bed of rice. Everything was very good. Service was fine and efficient. The atmosphere was fairly "sterile" but clean and modern.

I took my son here for lunch because his initials are DB. The menu is on the smaller side. We both chose tacos, steak and fish. The tacos were absolutely delicious! Waitresses were friendly but it took 25 minutes to get the check. It seemed like they didn't have enough staff to keep up.

Place is cute! But the food was just not good unfortunately. We got the bulgogi bowls, my husband loves bulgogi. But he and I both agreed it just wasn’t good, tasted burned and it was not fresh tasting. The temperature was definitely not like it was freshly made it was kind of cold. I did bring up the burned taste up to our waiter which she was very nice. But since we were on a time crunch we didn’t have enough time to have it remade. I feel like we might have caught them on an off day but not sure we will be back.
Heather S — Google review
Place wasn't busy at all, unfortunately, because really nice experience. Had been here a while ago and liked it so wanted to go back. Brie was playing hostess, waitress and "ambassador ". She was on it, friendly, courteous, verse with the menu, and upselled when she could. Having f&b experience, I respected and appreciated the effort. At first I was disappointed for them misunderstanding that they might close after lunch but Brie explained about the owner working out of their sister restaurant next door, Mad Bene. They just needed an hour downtime on food to switch over.. Two thumbs up for the creativity and efficiency during the pandemic. Do what you need to do to survive. Way to go guys and gals. The menu is simple, appealing, and yes, simplistically tasty. Lol. Had the smoked fish dip, crispy mandoo and KFC Chix bowl. All pretty reasonable and surprisingly not bad at all. Just from the service and creativity, will give Mad Bene a go next visit.

Came here during happy hour for a coworkers belated birthday celebration. Workers were able to give good feedback on food and drink options. Atmosphere was chill. I would come back again for some soju and pupu's for sure.

Barbecue restaurant
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is a fast-food chain with an island theme, offering traditional Hawaiian plate lunches. Their menu includes local-style choices and daily specials, satisfying appetites of diners both locally and globally. It has become popular among health-conscious customers seeking better options, as L&L Hawaiian Barbecue provides value and deliciousness with meals that consist of brown rice and a mix of leafy greens.
Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. And this place totally delivers in quality and flavor.
Filip G — Google review
Visited this L&L, had mop bucket out, extra supplies stacked in the restaurant (see picture) hardly any meat on the sandwich, compared to other recent visits to L&L on the island. The restaurant attendant wasn’t overly friendly and wouldn’t provide an extra water cup when requested—I get the extra cost but for a water cup?? Sandwich and bun were tasty but certainly didn’t live up to our normal experience at L&L.
Tyler W — Google review
Food here is absolutely amazing! I went twice in a row because it was soooo good. I got the bbq mix plate and all three meats were so flavorful and moist. Would highly recommend going here.
Jacob V — Google review
Of all the L&Ls on the island, I think this one is the best. Food is consistently good, and a great value. Parking here can be a hassle because of the small parking spaces and a very busy Foodland next door.
David H — Google review
Quick and friendly service. I had the seafood combo platter and loco moco. Both were excellent. Lots of food and very fair price. Mahalo!
Andrew M — Google review
This is the best L&L I have been too. .y food came out perfect each time. Try the mixed BBQ plate it phenomenal.
James B — Google review
$12-13 dollars for a mini loco moco is too much... 1 egg, 1 patty and a scoop of rice. The workers were also very hard to understand when ordering.
Luis F — Google review
Made a phone order, went down immediately after we called it in. Then added to the order after I got there, the girl was just able to ring up the order all together. Service is good, food was good, saimin was not so good. I understand we took it to go, so maybe that's why the noodles were too soft, but the soup was like water... There wasn't much taste, which was kind of disappointing... Everything else was good. Forgot to take pictures of the food...

Experience a delightful assortment of freshly prepared, nourishing broths at Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House. Indulge in the Original broth infused with goji berries, red dates, and scallions that enhance the pork-bone soup base. For a simple yet delicious option, savor the Mixed Mushroom broth containing enoki, black and white mushrooms.
Great hot pot that's not too crowded and has plenty of self-service seafood items in the all-you-can-eat menu.
Ron C — Google review
This was my first time visiting. This place is amazing and has super friendly staff. They are a buffet place and have plenty of options available from vegetables, meat and seafood. They have different prices for differ and lunch and for kids and adults. The lunch price is until 3pm but as long as you get there before this time, you can sit as long as you want and can keep ordering as well. You make the food your self in a hot soup pot on the table you are sitting. You also get the sauce you want by mixing different sauces you want. They even offer unlimited soda for $1 only which is fantastic. Totally recommended restaurant, especially if you want buffet seafood.
Masoud A — Google review
Fun little hot pot place! You can all share one soup, or everyone in your group can have their own pot. (The Original soup was our favorite.) The lamb and the pork belly were my favorite meats, and the buffet was fresh and tasty. Pick a soup, and a meat, then head to the cooler to grab as many little wrapped dishes of protein and veg as you want.
Maxine L — Google review
I don't ever write reviews, but this place is awesome. Just don't come during rush hour, which I'm sure is from 6-8pm. We came at 4pm, and it was empty, but as soon as we sat down, more people started showing up. By the time we left around 5ish, it was pretty busy already. Great service when no one is there, super attentive. Food was real great too, ordered kimchee broth and they gave us a split it since two different people were going to use the same broth. That was awesome. It's all you can eat, so come hungry. Food was really good, they keep the buffet veggies well stocked. They have their own sauce bar, where you can make your own sauces, while providing the normal ones, while giving you the option of using their special made sauces with a menu of sauces on the wall above. (Didn't get a pic of that)... They bring the meats straight to your table, and I've never seen chicken sliced so thin, but it was awesome, easy to cook, and easy to eat. the burners are electric so you don't run out of gas mid way cooking, they offer single serving soup or a pot. We don't live in Kapolei, but this place is definitely worth the drive.
S T — Google review
Lunch time AYCE was pretty reasonable at 22.99 per person for adults. The price is 2 dollars higher than their site so just be aware. Service wasn't the greatest but adequate. You can either have a split pot or your own personal pot. I liked getting my own pot and it was more than big enough to cook all my food. Selection available at the self serve veggie bar is quite extensive along with a small refrigerator that had a bunch of seafood options like squid, baby octopus, fish, clams, mussels, oysters and shrimp. Lots of different sauces to try along with toppings. Meats are ordered via the wait help and include ribeye, pork belly, chicken and lamb. I ordered 4 trays for 2 of us and they were pretty generous so don't order too much. Also comes with soda so that's a nice touch. Lots of free parking outside. If you've ever been to Shabuya in ALA Moana it's a similar experience but I'd say the seafood options are much better.
Will — Google review
A Friday night favorite. Attentive staff. Meals are All You Can Eat with fresh veggies and meat selections. Large selection of accoutrements in the refrigerators. Overall, a fun with friends to sit and converse in a somewhat lively environment.

This hotpot place was our family go to since we discovered it. It was $19.99/person. Then went up to $24.99, last time we ate 2 weeks ago $29.99. Went this past weekend $34.99, can't afford anymore 😥

Waterman Bar & Lounge is a laid-back poolside eatery at a hotel, serving up an array of elevated seafood, burgers, and light bites alongside tropical drinks. The venue pays homage to vintage Hawaii and the iconic surf culture of Oahu. It features an impressive selection of Hawaii's craft beers, curated spirits, hand-crafted cocktails, and wines. The menu offers casual bites meant for sharing, with Hawaii-inspired small and large plates like Short Rib Bao Buns and Garlic Shrimp.
Great outdoor pool bar. Small and intimate. Bartenders were very attentive. There is a lunch and dinner menu offering depending on the time of day. We just to happen to have been there at dinner time. The menu is small but impactful! Lots of yummy choices! We opted for the nachos and short rib Bao buns! BOTH DELICIOUS!!! This is the place to go in the evenings after dinner to have a couple cocktails and take in the surrounding scenery. Just so beautiful and relaxing! If you’re feeling like something sweet. Ask for the ice cream sandwich from the kids menu!!! YUM!!

Great pool side bar that serves some good food. A bit high on the price side, but the atmosphere is just right. No happy hour, but you are right by a pool and the ocean is yards away!
Luke M — Google review
Service was great, food was a big let down. When I pay $21 for 3 tacos with avocado, I expect real avocado when it says avocado on the menu. This was a sorry excuse for a $7 taco, actually a $9 because we got half an avocado on the side for $6 more. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food produced and false marketing. +1 star for service. Another +1 star was for the steak and garden salad, which was quite spectacular. -1 star for the sad tacos. -1 star for the "watermelon salad" that had the texture of day old soggy watermelon and -1 for the value. I don't mind paying $100 or even $200 for lunch. The quality of the food needs to reflect the price. The Aulani Pool bar next door is half the price and has a much higher quality output

We were here yesterday and we got in just before the lunch rush. The workers were patient with us and answered any questions we had about any of the dishes. They were super nice to the kids and we really enjoyed our time. The food came out freshly made and it was so delicious. We had a good variety of rolls, bentos, and even a musubi and everything was good. Highly recommend coming here. Parking is within the lot of the shopping center and I think the stalls are smaller than usual. Be careful with cars next to you and please try to park properly.

Manalo Lounge, located within the Four Seasons, draws inspiration from Hawaiian culture and offers a contemporary yet casual dining experience by the water's edge. The menu reflects the diverse mix of influences on local cuisine. Guests can enjoy dishes like sashimi, yakitori, and bao buns with kimchi. The lounge also boasts a well-stocked bar where knowledgeable bartenders can guide patrons to the perfect drink.
There are a few restaurants on the property but this one was my favorite. Their lobster ramen was out of the world. If you were to ask your chef friend to make the best ramen ever for your birthday this would be it. Fried tofu was also very impressive. Thin-crunchy outside with a hint of spice + warm tofu inside was a good balance, perfect food to pair with a glass of beer. Finally the toasted rice ice cream gives you a combination of saltiness + sweetness + crunchiness with caramel.. strongly recommended!

Beach-side oasis after a long day of sitting by the pool. We love everything Manolo had to offer. Staff was great. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was casual and relaxing. We sampled a little of everything and it was all good. I recommend a visit! See the receipt for pricing info.

We stopped into the Mānalo Lounge for drinks and small plates and were genuinely impressed. The food here is not just “resort good” — it’s actually excellent. The salmon in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Across the board, every dish we ordered was a 9.5/10. You can tell there’s real care in the preparation and presentation. The atmosphere is relaxed and open-air, with a view that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy where you are. Cocktails were balanced and not overly sweet, and the staff, while sometimes a bit stretched during busy times, was warm and attentive once they got to us. If you’re staying at the Four Seasons, make a point to come here at least once — ideally around sunset. The photos don’t even do it justice. Great food, great drinks, and a setting that feels like classic Hawai‘i.

Birthday vibes in full tropical effect! 🌺🌅 I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening with sunshine, ocean breeze, and the kind of golden-hour glow that makes you feel like you’re in a dream. We dined beachside soaking up that luxe island energy with every bite. Yeah, the food leans $$$ (hello, $90 uni roll 😳), but honestly? You’re not just paying for the dish, you’re buying front-row seats to paradise. 🌊✨ Even if the uni didn’t rock our world, the view sure did. From sunny skies to a sunset that melted into the waves, chef’s kiss. And the bonus? Free 4-hour parking validation when you dine at the resort, so no valet drama. It was a beautiful, breezy, star-studded kinda night (low-key hoping for a celeb sighting 👀), and I felt nothing but gratitude. Truly a blessed birthday in island-style luxury. 💫🌴🍣

They gave my girl peanuts even tho we warned them of her allergy ASAP. So it took long for her food. Went here right before I engaged. Food was amazing except the dragonfly hand roll. That was kind of gross and got stuck in my throat multiple times. Nasty consistency. Everything else was absolutely delicious. Portion sozes are as small as they can get away with so you’re left hungy and having to order more. For myself and my now fiancé I spent $250. We even waited 15 minutes for a Coke Zero. I enjoyed it overall but there was much that could’ve been better. Also since it’s a lounge the seats were odd and uncomfortable. I had to lean back FAR. I mean super far just to have my back against the seat rest.
Riley T — Google review
The service and atmosphere are good. We didn't have reservations on a Wednesday night and we got a table right away facing the lagoon. We ordered the sunset roll, A5 wayu on hot stone and the seafood ramen. The roll and wayu beef are great, but the seafood ramen was not my favorite. This $68 ramen noodle soup is no match to the 1500 yen ($10) one in Ginza. The broth is bland and has a bitter taste, because they have cooked the Gai lan veggies in the soup. Raw carrots sticks and beans sprouts in the ramen, they are not a good addition. I wish they could use bamboo shoots and corn. Anyway I have high hopes for this restaurant but it turns out not meeting my expectations.
Phoenix Z — Google review
Hands down excellent food and service! This was a last minute choice- we just wanted small plates. Our server Justin was phenomenal and deserves a shoutout and the restaurant should def do something nice for him! He had great recommendations. We shared the cauliflower bites which I totally would come back and order two plates of they were that good. The Gyoza were our faves also- crispy and the meat blended well with the veg and the ponzu was a top quality. The Bao was great too - the pork belly was crispy and made just right, the beef was alright. Honestly the bao was too much food after all that. They did have a Japanese French fries special that sounded great but there was no way we could have done that 🙃 Next time? lol Justin actually recommended a local beer they have for breakfast not on the night menu from Hana Koa. He was able to get the manager to open the case for me and I’m glad he did. This was honestly the best beer I’ve ever had. Did I just say that? I did! I literally want to pick some up now. It was smooth dark and deep and had a nice clean finish- Summer Stout. He said they are very close to Japanese beers which I will try when we go this year. I finished with the Party Boy Pils which was sweet but clean. The bill was a bit higher but the meal was worth it. So balance yourself when dining here and enjoy. The service was excellent and you feel valued. We visited this resort when it was under Marriott and not great. Four Season quality is def shining here ☀️ I’m going to add an addendum- we came here again and brought our friend. We did the cauliflower again- still banging! And this time we did dessert. The Toasted Rice Ice cream sundae was the best dessert we had this whole trip. It was the perfect blend of sweet and salty and everything. I will dream of that sundae until I die it was that good!

The stars are mainly for the friendly service and dealing with our big, demanding (due to hunger) family. This id one of the few places I would order Nopales. Most places make it dry and flavourless. The other food was okay, but we were spoiled due to frequent travel to Mexico and/or living in San Diego. Margaritas were okay.

It's been a few years but I use to always go to the Kapaa location on Tuesdays. I've just learned about this location and I love it. Staff here is very friendly. I love the food here. I've tried a few of their dishes on Kauai but the Baja Fish Tacos is my favorite but it needs the salsa that they bring you, it just brings it to another level. I've also tried their Enchilada Del Mar, it was okay. I wasn't really a fan of it. The beans, rice was bland and the enchilada was just to tough. The churros are really good. They're warm and fluffy with tons of cinnamon and surgar. And their nachos are my wife's favorite. Their prices are a bit steep, but overall, it's a decent place for some mexican food.

We had high hopes for this place but it was very disappointing. The staff was nice but the food was not great at all, it was clean inside. The queso had no flavor. The chicken street taco photo speaks for itself.. bland. Same with the fish tacos. They provide 2 sauces which help but one is too creamy and the other not spicy at all. We wanted to love this place but it was not it.

Peruvian food in Hawaii. The chicken is moist, the sauce is even better. A must is to try the Pork Belly on Sweet a Potato Fries. Pretty good selection of alcohol choices at the bar. A new menu will be coming out in 2-3 weeks. That should be interesting.

Eran was the sever, she was awesome. Wasn't satisfied with the first plate I ordered but she took it with no issues and brought me another one. Had the octopus and shrimp ceviche, it's was pretty good.

As others mentioned, the service was great. Our server was attentive and helpful. When our server was on break, another server was aware and checked on us. I was surprised with the communication. The other server was also attentive. I reserved a table through Opentable and had no issues. We ordered the Taro Chips and Classico Ceviche de Camarones for starters. The ceviche was a little spicy but not enough to start a cough. The taro chips were a suggestion from our server and cost $3.50. The entrees were the Half Chicken and the Lomo Saltado. The chicken was good. If you like beef that's on the rare side, you'll like this dish. I felt that the ratio between french fries and meat was not equal. There were more french fries than meat. I wouldn't order the Lomo Saltado again. The 2 sides we picked for the Half Chicken were the Tacu Tacu and the Sweet Potato fries. The Tacu Tacu is so good. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Bandido and the Creme Brulee. I didn't care for the nuts in the ice cream with the Chocolate Bandido. The Creme Brulee was amazing. The environment is very noisy. It was a little hard to hear the person across from me. That's one of the reasons that I'm knocking it down a star. Other than that, the interior design is very urban and rustic. I would come here again and try other things on the menu, but still order the Creme Brulee.

As a Peruvian, I was both excited and skeptical about this place. My hunger and curiosity got the best of me so we tried it out... And how glad we were to do so! The place is really big, with inside and outside seating. It was pretty packed for a Sunday evening, a pleasant surprise, and a good sign that our dining choice was the right one. The crowd was varied, from twenty-somethings by the bar and outside seats, to families and couples inside the restaurant. We started with a Ceviche Trio, which are 3 different types of ceviche. For the uninitiated, ceviche is raw fish that's bathed in lime juice, onions and garlic. Each ceviche in the trio had different spices (rocoto, ahí, and tradicional) and each was very tasty. A good way to start the meal if you are sharing. My wife had the quarter dark rotisserie chicken (Pollo a la brasa), which is a Peruvian staple. While the chicken had great flavor, the skin wasn't as crispy as it could have been. It came with two sides, so she picked the chifa green beans (made with soy sauce and garlic on a wok), and sweet potato fries. It came with a side of aji amarillo (a spicy sauce made with yellow chilies) and it (along with the sides) was amazing! All of it packed a great flavor. I chose the Lomo Saltado, which is marinated strip steak with onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, scallions, and garlic, served with French fries and rice. The flavors were definitely on point on this, but to make it even better, get a side of aji amarillo. I didn't even have time to take a picture, it was so good. We finished with some chocolate and lúcuma bread pudding, which could have used a little more lúcuma (or even lúcuma ice cream). Not bad, but if could have been a bit better. If you are in town and want to try something different but yummy, definitely give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is a good place when you want something different. They use a great mix of exotic Peruvian spices and herbs. All the dishes I tried were very flavorful, and the service was pretty good. The chicken is very tender and moist with a lot of herbs. The Ají Panca Barbecue Ribs were nothing special, but decent. The sweet potato fries and that sauce was great! That sauce would make anything taste good. It tasted like a garlic aioli with parsley and some spices. My favorite was the creme brulee. It had a hint of lime aftertaste that made it refreshing and unique. I will be back.

Enjoyed an excellent meal here with friends. A hidden gem in Kapolei. The rotisserie chicken is the real deal...moist, savory and delicious. Pork chops, green beans, ceviche, empanadas and Pisco Sours did not disappoint either. #brokedamout

We did takeout. The order was ready within 10 minutes. It was packaged very well and absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for curry, this is the place to go! Highly recommend the kalbi/fried chicken and croquettes.

Shrimp fry udon (spicy) : really good. Everything is good. Chicken cutlet curry (mild) : good too. But mild make the taste feel soft. Chicken cutlet its ok. Service : Nice. Polite. Clear explanation. Atmosphere : clean. Front cook

I got the Chicken Katsu Curry but added Spinach for some veggies. I would recommend keeping the curry on the side so that your Katsu doesn’t become soggy. I am gonna do that next time. Great service! She asked if we needed anything one time during the meal which for me deserves a good tip.

I tried pork katsu with shrimp fry topping. It looked nothing special but the taste was good! The shrimp and the katsu were cooked just right - crispy outside and soft inside. Generous portions with good price as well. I want to try different toppings when I go next time.

The wait wasn't too bad. Luckily we were parked near the entrance so I could here when my name was called but even if I hadn't hear my name they would call me. The staff was friendly. Were always greeted when we enter. The service was great. Our waitress was kind and patient with us especially towards our kids.

The first Coco Curry Oahu restaurant to reinstate dine in after the Covid era when all the rest were take out only.... And to this day I still support👍Eating curry out of a plastic container isnt the same as eating curry freshly poured over a plate of steaming hot rice. IYKYK. The owner/manager is always on property and runs this restaurant better than ive seen the others... Located in the Village shopping plaza anchored by Foodland in Kapolei, its a busy plaza but always has ample parking available. Easy access to the freeway and off Kapolei Parkway🤙 This Curry house also has different spice levels, and takes credit cards in addition to cash too. The go to is the Kalbi/fried chicken mix with cheese and side order gyoza. Mops! Havent had a bad dish here, although the last visit the portion looked a little smaller but maybe it was just the chef on a bad day... 5 stars🤙🤙

Long wait for takeout and tables at night. My takeout took 25 minutes. Got curry plate with chicken cutlet, spinach and fried tofu. Fried tofu is different from before. Much heavier with firmer tofu. I liked it better when it used to be medium instead of firm tofu and the crust more delicate. Chicken cutlet and spinach were excellent as always.

While in Hawaii for vacation my husband and I realized there was a Coco Ichibanya nearby and HAD to go. We loved dining here in Japan and we can't really get this where we live now. The smell when you walk in is heavenly. The server was quick to greet us and take our orders - no frills, just good service, clean tables, and great smells. I ordered a chicken cutlet and my husband ordered a pork cutlet. We ordered a spice level 7. The food came quickly and looked great. It was everything I had been craving. Nicely seasoned, chicken quality and cook was excellent, great portion size. I definitely could have gone with more spice, but zero complaints. We both left super satisfied.

When did a large pizza start looking like a small? Portions are a scam here. Go to Pizza Hut instead the pizza is bigger and better for your money there. I also got a Philly cheese steak sandwich and they put barely any meat it was mostly bread.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Kapolei is a popular coffeehouse chain in Hawaii, known for its wide range of beverages including their signature ice-blended options. This retail establishment, brought to Hawaii by The Sullivan Family of Companies, continues the tradition of innovation started by the late Maurice J., the founder of the Sullivan Family. Some people find it unusual when this coffee shop is located inside a store, but that's just personal preference.
Amazing service! Super friendly and fast service. Greeted with a smile even though they were vey busy and had a line out the door. I see why they’re popular! Stay amazing!!🩷

For the first time I went here today and had a really yummy oat milk flat white. The service was excellent as was the coffee. The price however for a medium coffee was way too lunch indeed one of the most expensive in the world for anything relative. Just saying!

I am so unimpressed with the service, coffee, and quality. If I wanted mostly ice I would go to the local grocery store right there and buy a bag for $5 instead... I paid $6 for this half full cup of sickly sweet nonsense. They stopped brewing actual coffee at 8am they said. Their espresso is all dark roast. I decided to go for the vanilla cream cold brew and they said it would be a little less full and gestured an inch. I was like ok that's fine. This is not an inch. I paid for the coffee why wouldn't you just fill it. Anyways, this is why Starbucks dominates. I don't like business models that are clearly just to generate profit without quality and that is this place. Here's a picture of coffee made with no love included from the barista. What trash.

The open-air cafe provides plush indoor and outdoor seating with expansive outdoor lanai setting for guests to enjoy ocean views while savoring their beverages and light bites.
Located in the Four Seasons, a simple cafe including high quality coffee and pastries with a price tag that reflects it. The lobby and various seating areas were all beautiful and breathtaking. There’s even a garden area that is nicer than most botanical gardens on O’ahu.

Great little gem of a coffee spot if you’re visiting the Ko Olina area. Hidden right off the lobby of the Four Seasons Resort they had an extensive menu with delicious coffee. My favorite part was their very friendly staff. After just a couple visits knew me and my morning order. They always had a smile on their faces and my order was consistently made - which was lovely as I like to enjoy the same thing every morning to start my day. The pastries and food options always looked fresh and tasty. They offer plenty of milk and replacement milk options for the coffee drinks. Everything on the menu felt highly customizable with many unique options. We visited on Valentine’s day and they had special drinks to celebrate the day. My only negative was everything felt a *tad* expensive (like it has a four seasons “tax” on it just for being part of the four seasons), but overall I very much enjoyed this shop and will return on my next visit.
Jen S — Google review
On Sunday early morning I searched for coffee/breakfast open by 6am and there were many options besides Starbucks. I was willing to drive the ten minutes to Hokulea and it didn’t disappoint! Coffee was very good but the chicken sausage breakfast burrito was so so so good! He did warn me it was a big portion so I do think you could share it with someone unless you were starving like me. The staff was also amazing and super helpful.
Karina N — Google review
The coffee was decent, could have been great, but the way they present payment options is predatory. Asks for tip first and you have to choose “other” and then punch in 0. Made me feel anxious and uncomfortable, so I just hit the minimum tip, making this a $10+ cup of coffee. You are not getting a cup of coffee worth $10. The atmosphere doesn’t count for much here when you already paid to be here. Really nice girls working the place though! They were great, not much they can do about it.

Had an okay breakfast, great service, fantastic location, but slightly over priced. Nicely presented dish, but hollandese for the Eggs benedict lacked flavor , a fruit bowl, 2 coffees...$80 plus tip. But again, we were at the Four Seasons.

Looking forward to coming back here during my next vacation here.

Glad we found this place! Shout out to Kai who is great- I really want that beer but it’s too early lol 😂 All their coffee is bangin and fresh. The baked goods are to die for- the croissant is heaven. We did the Ham and cheese croissant and it came with a mustard aioli and it was all made fresh! I love their cold brew- smooth! I’ve given up on Starbucks anymore. This is def worth a stop in the morning for your coffee fix and the team is friendly and welcoming ❤️❤️ THE ube roll is great too. So much to try and it’s all local! Shout out to Kai, Casie, and Sejal 🌺 You make Starbucks look weak! Def stop by and say hi, they get to know their guests!

Step into Pho Kapolei and let the enticing aroma of simmering broth and authentic Vietnamese flavors whisk you away to a world of culinary delight. The restaurant offers generous portions, ensuring that you leave fully satisfied or with enough to share with friends and family. Guests rave about the rich and flavorful broths, such as the beef meatball and steak pho, as well as the beef stew. Henry Z — Google review
This review was a few months ago, but I thought I’d finally share it anyway. Months back, we decided to try Pho Kapolei on a whim; and to support a small eatery that had either reopened or newly opened in Kapolei (still confused about that). My husband was the one to order so I can’t attest to the ordering experience, but I can speak on the food. I ordered my go-to Vietnamese fav: BBQ chicken, Spring rolls, and Vermicelli. When my husband came back to the car & passed me the bag with our order, I was surprised and a little confused as to why everything in the bag felt so…hot. Usually when we get takeout Vietnamese, parts of it feel cold because of the Vermicelli. But I thought nothing of it, and we drove home. When I opened up the food container at home, I realized why it was so hot: The Vermicelli was Piping Hot to the point of still steaming! I was so confused. I waited for it to cool a bit, dipped some in the dipping sauce, and tried a bite. Because the vermicelli was never given an ice bath right after cooking, it had continued to cook and was now mushy and practically inedible. I’ve never had that happen at any Vietnamese restaurant before, so I was at a loss. I closed up the container, and we drove back. This is actually when the experience went from bad to worst, all bc of poor customer service. Because it was a simple mistake that could easily be fixed, I wasn’t too worried. I spoke to the only person there, and told them what had happened; opening the container and showing them that the noodles were still hot and severely overcooked. At least I TRIED. They unfortunately couldn’t speak much English and had to call another person to the front to help me. The second person couldn’t speak much English either - and looked at me like he really didn’t care. I tried to tell him that all I wanted was a replacement of the noodles since they were extremely overcooked, but they were closing and obviously didn’t want to do that. They refunded my money on the plate, and that was that. I ended up throwing away the entire plate, and grabbing a bento from 711. We never returned, and don’t plan to in the foreseeable future

First time here. I thought it be just like any other place. But I was wrong. I had the BBH and my husband the crispy noodles with vegetables and seafood stir fry. All the flavors were there and where it was supposed to be. They didn't skip on their seasoning! It was delicious!! 😁😁😁 definitely recommend and will come back for more!!! Their food portions are on the larger side. Nothing wrong with that just come hungry or share with family/friends! Service was friendly and quick. Lady who took our order so super nice!

Came for Happy hour in early September, food was amazing. Had the pizza, wings, and tortilla soup. Please note before coming here this restaurant does NOT carry ranch. If you enjoy it with your pizza wings, you may want to look else where. Also, it may have been the time we came but the bugs were all over us despite the restaurant putting out these bug deterrents on each table. Other than that I think you may be better off picking up your food to go.

Monkeypod Kitchen in Kapolei is a wonderful farm to table restaurant with chill vibes and great food! My husband and I visited and was sat quickly. We heard so many great things about this spot and many YouTubers who visit Aulani recommend this spot. The most memorable thing of the restaurant happens to be the most random thing… the Le Creuset Salt + Pepper Shakers! IM OBSSEESSSSEDDDDD with Le Creuset and seeing this was so awesome, especially since there are no locations of this company on island. I ordered the Kailua Pork Pizza and it was delicious! I loved the crust and Neapolitan style pizza. My husband got fish and chips and we ordered the Banana Cream Pie for dessert.

We had a delicious dinner here! Started with the Mai Tais (the honey lilikoi foam is divine). Then we shared the broccoli salad with house made romanesco and the lamb sausage pizza. Both were excellent. Not super “Hawaiian” choices but we would order both again. I knocked off one star on atmosphere because it’s in a mall behind the hotels so it doesn’t have any ocean view, but we ate on the second floor and were surrounded by gorgeous plumeria trees off the balcony.

Roy's Ko Olina is a top choice for those seeking Hawaiian-Asian cuisine in a stunning setting overlooking the golf course. The restaurant offers ever-changing menus, ensuring an exciting dining experience with entrees averaging around $50. Guests can indulge in fancy and romantic dinners, such as the smoky ahi poke and seafood treasure, or Uncle Roy's combo. The pineapple upside-down cake is a perfect way to end the meal.
As the saying goes, you normally get what you pay for. The prices at Roy's may turn off some, but what you get with the price is an amazing dining experience with high quality and delicious meals and friendly service in a wonderful atmosphere. Reservations are recommended. We were promptly seated up on arrival as we had family who were local to the area set up reservations. Our server, Lisa, was amazing and since some of my family was dining at a Roy's for the first time, she explained the items on the menu thoroughly and gave wonderful recommendations. We took her recommendation for the appetizer sampler (The Canoe for Two). The hand made chicken spring rolls were amazing, and the blackened ahi seemed to melt in our mouths. The fish and chips ordered by some of our family was delicious and the fish was very flaky and flavorful. My kids shared a 16 oz ribeye, and even though they ordered it medium well (don't judge), the steak was still juicy and very tender despite being prepared medium well. I had the prime rib sandwich based on Lisa's recommendation, and I would highly recommend this dish (make sure you show up hungry). To end the meal, I highly recommend the chocolate souffle. I would come back just on this dessert alone! What was a very nice touch was that, since it was some of my family's first time to the island, they added in some extras such as an ice cream sandwich and an extra chocolate dessert at no cost! All that said, again, the price point may be a turn off for some, but if you want to do a little fine dining in an absolutely beautiful location, you can't go wrong with Roy's at Ko Olina!

This place should definitely be a 5 star, not less. The food was amazing, I was served pretty quickly and landed on happy hour. I ordered a variety of sashimi (salmon, tuna, hamachi), served beautifully with radish, cucumbers and Hawaiian seaweed. The edamame sticks were amazing! The best of all! And octopus rolls, were good, with pieces of octopus inside! Do their famous pineapple martini 🍸. Very refined taste, perfect blend. And desserts are just beyond your expectations! The pineapple upside down cake and chocolate soufflé (lava cake) were top notch! The lava was actually coming out of it 😁 very mesmerizing. Well, just the food, and the service was amazing, I was very well taken care of, always had my glass of water topped and plates cleared right away. Not even mentioning the personal and professional approach of my server, Jesse. He helped me pick the best dishes to my liking and I loved everything he suggested. Will definitely be back here again!

We started with the baked brie and wine poached apples with macadamia nuts, we also had a spectacular ahi roll, filled with fresh Ahi tuna and spicy sauce over it ,we also had an appetizer of grilled Brussels sprouts that were simply amazing. For our main meals we started with a Plantation Paella, even though we were pretty well stuffed with the abundant appetizers, the paella was superb with nice chunks of lobster and local seafood specialties, that was joined with a fresh Mahi Mahi in a fennel sauce which was delicate, flaky and exquisite, that was joined by a miso butterfish and a Chinese pink snapper that were all fresh, beautifully presented and superbly prepared. I don’t even want to tell you how much of a hit to the wallet this was but by Hawaiian standards this meal and this restaurant were well worth it.

Ama Ama Restaurant is a laid-back Hawaiian dining spot located in a restored fishing hut within the Aulani resort. The restaurant offers open-air seating and provides an enjoyable experience for guests. The staff is known for their top-notch service and accommodating nature, especially when it comes to dietary preferences. While some reviews mention portion sizes, the focus here is on quality over quantity, particularly with items like the Kobe ribeye.
We loved our meal. We both had squash soup first course. Both loved it. I has octopus and hated it for second course, my wife love the pork. She has lamb for entree and lemon bar. She enjoyed everything. I had lobster and it was sublime. The chocolate mousse wasn't great! We are going back so she can have lobster. It was really that good.

Great food, service, and views. Loved the prix fixe options. A ton of food, definitely left full. A pricy option, but worth it.

Scott and the team at Ama Ama absolutely crushed it! My wife and I are here on our honeymoon and we decided to make a reservation for a sunset dinner at Ama Ama. Having been let down by a few other establishments in Ko Olina, this place was our first 10/10 dinner experience. From the attention to detail, the atmosphere, the service and the food, we completely loved everything about Ama Ama. If you're a wine drinker, I highly recommend the wine pairing, it accented the food beautifully. I cannot recommend this place more!

Food was amazing, Hospitality from server was fantastic. Only thing I have, which is actually very huge for me personally, was the way we were seated. There were so many empty tables closer to the front of the restaurant where there are people. We were seated at the very edge, NO PEOPLE, tables were not prepared behind us. First thing at a NICE restaurant is how you present the atmosphere to your guests. Don’t know if this was some sort of racial discrimination, but it sure did feel like it. THANKS DISNEY.

Absolutely the best atmosphere for a quiet date night or anniversary. Food and service is outstanding. Plus the ocean view along with the outdoor breeze makes this location truly amazing. All the food was elegant, tasty, and well presented.

Parking/Valet: We chose to do valet for this visit because we were unfamiliar with the area and we knew our bill would be more than the $50 required to park valet. The valets were very polite and quick to park and retrieve our vehicle. Our wait was no more than 5 mins for vehicle return. Location: GPS will take you to the back of the hotel by the docks, take the right turn right where the Aulani sign is and park your vehicle or use the valet. Once you are in the hotel, turn left in the lobby, make your way down the stairs, go out the double doors on your left, and take the left pathway all the way down to Ama'ama. There will be signs to mark where you are and where you're going. Our reservation was at 8 p.m. and we werent' familiar with the area, so it was a little confusing to get to the restaurant. Check-in: We made reservations a week in advance. The restaurant calls you a few days before to confirm reservations, and then a 20 mins or so before check in to ensure that you are on your way if you haven't arrived or checked in before then. When we arrived, we checked in, the hostesses were kind enough to take our family photo in front of their beautiful signs and then showed us to our table. Atmosphere: It is very serene and calm. The view of the ocean while you are seated is very beautiful. There is music playing faintly in the background and conversations that are happening around you, but not so loud that you lose track of your own conversations. Food/Price/Service: We were seated promptly so that was a plus. We informed the restaurant that we had our toddler with us, so they were very kind, receptive and friendly towards our toddler. They spoke to her when she pointed things out she was excited about. Our waiter, Scott made the whole evening enjoyable. He brought our toddler her juice, packed her food when she didn't finish it, spoke to her kindly, and he even did a makeshift 'bed' for her when she got tired and was trying to lie down. Really really appreciated our waiter Scott for that. The food was amazing! It is a 4 course meal at $130 per person and $57 for 3 years old and up. They explain all the courses as they bring them to the table. Scott brought my spouse a few lagers to try out and we really appreciated that as well. The food was delicious! But the desserts were amazing! Definitely worth the price! We left full & we happy. We would definitely come back here for another special occasion. We were here for my spouses birthday and he was very impressed and we both loved our experience here. Would definitely come back because of the amazing food, and great service. Thanks Scott!

The location offers stunning ocean views and friendly staff, making it an ideal place to grab a bite while soaking in the scenery.
Perfect view of the sunset. Excellent service! Everything here is great! My favorite is the Asian Chicken Salad. They replaced the chicken with tuna salad for me and the waitress said it looked so good she wanted to try it herself! Cheeseburger was excellent too! Best fries!

We had 9 hours before our flight home. Decided to try this place that is in the Marriott Vacation Club property. (I didn't know that when I looked it up on yelp). Not sure why the raiting is so low, but I was close and decided to try this place out and it didn’t disappoint. My server Crystal was very attentive and nice, she helped me pick up the best options for both drinks and food. I ordered Longboards sunset to drink and ahi tuna nachos, and both were amazing! I’ve read some reviews about soggy nachos but I just had them right now and the chips were crispy and was abundantly covered with tuna and dressing. It also came on a bed of greens, which was lovely. The drink was delicious, enough sweetness and alcohol, great mix! I decided that I wanted some more food, so I ordered coconut shrimp too. All dishes arrived almost momentarily! What a service! And a pleasant addition is an amazing sunset to watch. You know what I’m going to say 😊 Highly recommend!

Great beach/Lagoon side cafe. Walk up to order food and drinks. We got the chicken Katsu which was proper curry and chicken thigh. The Kalua pork nachos was average.

Not only this restaurant extremely overpriced (22-25 a small drink), the nachos were so disgusting. I don’t think I’ve eaten anything worse in my life. They use fake liquid cheese and the nachos were super soggy. Will never return.. our server was so lovely + atmosphere was great, but food was really gross.

Makahiki is a vibrant eatery located at the Aulani Resort, offering island-inspired Disney character buffets and a tropical patio. Known for its beachside buffet, it features appearances by Hawaiian garb-clad Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy.
I made reservations for our family (Group of 8) for the 10 am character breakfast to celebrate my husband and my 15th anniversary. Upon check in, we were given the exclusive opportunity to take pictures with Mickey Mouse. The Disney photographers were pleasant and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed and they even offered to take pictures with our phone cameras. Disney photos were definitely better quality and so we purchased the digital download package with one print ($40). They come around the tables to show you the photos and again very pleasant and helpful. Our waitress was an angel and made every effort to accommodate our variety of requests. The espresso was good and the latte was a life saver. $55 per person included masalas, fruit, and entree. The plates were brought to the table and everything was impeccable. We were not hotel guests but we paid for all day valet parking ($40) and were able to enjoy the onsite beach after breakfast, purchase from the gift shops and enjoy drinks and desserts from onsite bars and food stands. Bring a towel and sunscreen

We visited Aulani for our anniversary with our children. We made the reservation for May 30th at 6:30pm. The wait to get seated was not bad maybe 15 minutes or so. We ordered from the 3 course menu. My husband and I both got the 12oz prime NY steak, my son got the baby back ribs, my daughter got the kids 6oz NY steak, and my toddler got the kid's cheese pizza. We waited nearly 1 hour for our entree to get to our table. The sides were cold, the steak was 50% cold and the bleu cheese butter was extremely overpowering. My son's ribs were also cold. Being at the beach all day, with 3 hungry children and 2 adults trying to entertain the children while we waited for our food for a whole hour was not fun. Our waiter was amazing. The service was great but the kitchen took forever to serve the food. The Disney experience was not there. We've been there for the breakfast with characters and loved it. I'm not sure why the experiences were so drastically different.

This dinner was incredible!!! Our server Josh was excellent and very attentive. We had the 3 course dinner and it did not disappoint. First, warm bread came out that was so good! Then we had ceasar salad that was basically a meal on its own. I couldn't finish because I wanted to have room for my mahi-mahi over gnocchi in a sweet onion cream sauce with asparagus and corn. It was delicious! Super fresh and also added 4 shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. Way too much to eat, but it was so good! Hubby had the ribs with Mac and cheese--also phenomenal! For dessert, I got the roasted pineapple cobbler. It was good, but too sweet. Hubby got the Mickey brownie with vanilla ice cream and berries. Definitely the best dessert. You get 2 brownies and they were just fabulous! Highly recommend getting that dessert over the cobbler. The restaurant was open air and very spacious. Just over all beautiful and a great experience.

I made reservations in advance of my visit for a character breakfast and dinner. Both meals were easy to check into with friendly staff. I love character meals, I've done many at the parks, and this was just as great. The characters are engaging and funny and definitely worth it. You meet one as you enter and there is a little story time and dance and the other characters come to your table. There were different characters at the breakfast and dinner. Food was good and there was plenty of it.
Vanessa B — Google review
Came here for the character breakfast. I have been to many other character meals so I kind of knew what to expect. First they have you take a picture with Mickey, he was great! We didn't have to wait long to get seating, make sure you make a reservation 30 days beforehand because it is hard to get. All the characters were really great and our server was wonderful. The food was sort of a miss. I know its supposed to be more about the experience rather the food but I have had good food at other characters meals. The malasadas were the best part. I am glad that we tried it out though, if we're to vacation here again it's something we can skip.
Jules — Google review
You are not going to find a better atmosphere!! The waterfall in the background with a bit of love music. We went to check out the resort while on vacation and just ate from the appetizer menu as we didn’t want to wait for our later reservation. It didn’t disappoint and was a great experience! Our server was awesome too!! Definitely worth going back or checking out if on the island.
JASON N — Google review
To be honest the experience was a bit underwhelming for the price. It was $55 about 1-2 months ago. $57 for 1 Malasada, 1 standard bowl of non-tropical fruit, and 1 entree. I understand you’re paying for the Disney experience but for that price l wish there was more options for the entree. It was nice to go once but don’t think I would go again.

Mina's Fish House, located at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, offers a modern twist on traditional Hawaiian seafood and tropical cocktails. Designed by James Beard Award winner Michael Mina, the restaurant features a line-to-table menu that celebrates local catch and provides panoramic views from both indoor and lanai oceanfront tables.
We have stayed at Four Seasons twice now, and every time, we absolutely love the food throughout the resort! Mina Fish House is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, making it perfect for a special celebration or a romantic dinner. The service is excellent, and the stylish interior adds to the experience. We highly recommend booking a table inside, as the weather can be unpredictable, and it might start raining outside. Definitely one of the best places on the island for a seafood dinner!

We had such a wonderful experience here! The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The outdoor seating overlooking the ocean made it even better. I had the filet with brussels, which was fantastic, and my husband ordered a special (can’t recall the name) that he absolutely loved. My daughter had the kids chicken and the garlic rice was sooo good. To top it off, the bruleed ube cheesecake was perfection.

I decided to give Mina’s Restaurant in Ko Olina another try, coming in for an early dinner with my girlfriend and nieces. After sharing my previous experience with the manager, Sophie, she was incredibly apologetic and sincere about what had happened. She even offered to comp my last night’s dinner — something I truly didn’t expect. This time, everything was on point. Our waiter, Ricky, was amazing, and from the hostess Bri to the manager Sophie and the two other servers who helped, the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was still as beautiful as ever, but this time it came with exceptional service. Thank you, Mina’s, for making my second experience so much better and truly memorable!

The ambiance was amazing! Our waitress was great. The Bread was very yummy and the shishito peppers were so flavorful. The tuna tartare was nothing special and was slimey, do not get the miso cod it tasted so salty and no flavor but miso paste. The spam rice was too salty and tasted overpowering of garlic. The charboiled seafood was good. The deserts- ube cheesecake was very good. Overall I would come back for the scene and appetizer and desert I would skip the Main dishes. Very expensive for what is was.

Service and Vibe was great. Food was average at best. The tuna I ordered didn’t seem like it had seasoning on it at all, but was cooked correctly. The child grilled fish was overcooked and tough to eat. The Cod had a good mix of flavors and was cooked correctly.

Paradise Cove Luau is a seaside luau located at Ko Olina Resort on Oahu's leeward coast. It offers a traditional Hawaiian experience with a buffet of Hawaiian fare and drinks, along with a captivating show featuring hula and fire dancers. The venue was once a retreat for royalty and now attracts visitors interested in fishing, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
My family and I had an incredible time here. Everything was so amazing; the land and views, the staff, the activities, the food, the performances. You can’t even begin to imagine how delicious the pork is. My husband stanned the man who danced with fire, we ended up seeing him on the way out where my husband approached him to tell him how great he thought he was 🤣he was so nice and talked to us for a bit. We would come back again and again if we could, we loved all our handsome and lovely cousins 🥰
Taylor O — Google review
The service was amazing. The activities and pre-luau festivities were super fun, very unlike other luaus I’ve been to. Loved the ceremonies, in theory. They all felt very rushed and forced. The opportunity to take pictures with the parrots was lovely. The temporary tattoos, also a great activity - however (and I do claim partial responsibility for not being more careful) they are basically just oil pastels that rub off on everything so my dress was ruined by the end of the night. They do not wash out. My biggest issue though- the food was absolutely awful. The salads were straight outta can-tom and the pork was salt-lick. I ended up eating very little of my dinner, which was disappointing for ~$150. As far as the entertainment goes, I felt like I was there to cheer on the dancers who required constant validation, as opposed to watching a cultural celebration. Three stars because the servers were amazing and the atmosphere/pregame activities were a fresh spin. If you’re looking for a traditional Hawaiian luau or a good dinner experience, continue looking elsewhere. I would not do this again.
Megan H — Google review
We just came for the Luau! We had a great evening. They had a lot of activities that were cool prior to the show! I really enjoyed the Polynesian temporary tattoos and the demonstrations! Every single staff member I encountered was kind, helpful and super nice! I have nothing but good things to say about all of them! I give it 4/5 stars just because of the food! It was good but I thought there would be more different types of Polynesian food and more options. I enjoyed the fish! I thought the desserts were lack luster!
Channing B — Google review
Paradise Cove had amazing service and incredibly talented performers! Everyone we met showed such warm hospitality and was genuine. The show itself was entertaining and beautifully done! The food was pretty bland as others have mentioned, but not a big deal as I didn’t expect much from it, so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The biggest disappointment was that our bus arrived late due to traffic, so we missed all of the pre-show activities. Not anyone’s fault, but still a pretty big letdown since we were looking forward to them. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great service and atmosphere, just wish we’d gotten the full experience.

One of the best Hula Dances in Oahu. I booked our tickets with roundtrip from the hotel. We stayed at Alohilani and were picked up at the Hayatt Regency. The show was incredible. The food wasn't bad, but I feel like for the price I expected something better. But we still loved the event.
Belinda L — Google review
We absolutely loved our experience at Paradise Cove Luau! The Orchid package was definitely worth it, as our seats were in the middle which offered a perfect view of the stage. We also opted for the transportation, and it was a great choice. The coach bus was comfortable, and our host, Mo, was fantastic. He was very attentive and kept everyone entertained on the ride to and from the venue. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing Mai Tai and a delicious buffet dinner. We had a great time participating in the Polynesian cultural activities and were especially captivated by the performances. I even earned a certificate in Polynesian dancing! Overall, we highly recommend Paradise Cove Luau for a fun and authentic experience.
Laura R — Google review
The entertainment - the Polynesian dancing - was great. Everything else was disappointing. The food was pretty awful. Worse than supermarket pre-packaged potato salad, pasta salad and broccoli salad. There was a dollop of pulled pork on the main course plate but that was the most Hawaiian thing about the food. We were expecting more authentic dishes like poi, Spam-related items and suchlike; i.e. local fare. The food was reminiscent of Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet. The dessert plate was sad - awful chocolate cake, some kind of dessert bar and a sliver of fresh pineapple (again - Golden Corral stuff). We did the highest tier package which gave us two complimentary pictures with a palm backdrop. If you wanted sunset photos against the truly stunning oceanside backdrop, that cost extra. It felt like a medieval renaissance faire with Hawaiian entertainment instead of jousting. The "temporary tattoos" were just paint and won't last past one shower. So, not really temporary tattoos at all, which typically last a few days. Also - I was a bartender and restaurant manager for fifteen years and the alcoholic drinks were dubious. They floated something brown on the Mai Tai but it didnt taste like dark rum at all. I'm not sure what it was. However, the dancers were terrific! Very Hawaiian and very good at what they were doing! If the food had been more authentic Polynesian fare and the drinks had been better, this would have been five stars.

Off the Hook is a laid-back poolside eatery and bar located at the Aulani Resort in Oahu. It's conveniently situated near the main pool and beach, offering first-come-first-serve seating. The restaurant also provides mobile ordering for both dine-in and takeout options.
We ate at Off the Hook tonight! The service was amazing! I am not a drinker but occasionally will have a drink. I’m pretty picky and don’t like that strong alcohol flavor. I loved this drink at Disney called Magical Star. I was asking the lady if any drinks were similar and she looked at the ingredients and went and made me that drink! It was amazing to have such good service! The food was also great! Highly recommend the steak!

Great place to eat. We stopped for dinner and had a great meal. I ordered a lobster roll, others got the club sandwich and pasta. They were generous portions and tasty. Our child’s burger arrived with an insect crawling on it & they tried to serve it anyway. No apologies or offer to take care of the meal even though we had to wait another 10 minutes for the new food to come out. Know you are getting the same food that you can order from the beach chairs. We get better service at our local Chick fil A. View is nice but you hear the screaming of kids at the adjacent pool area. We spent $200 for 2 adults & 3 kids. Go elsewhere for the price - would be better to eat at chairs in a quieter location unless you want the TV for a game & can deal with the noise from pools nearby.

Beautiful atmosphere at this casual spot located in Aulani Resort. This was the first spot my family and I ate in the resort. We got on appetizer two entrees and one kids meal. We got the onion rings to start, I ordered the Hulu Huli chicken, my wife got the French Dip and our daughter ordered the chicken strips. We paid about $150 with the tip for all of that with one alcoholic drink and a mocktail. Everything g was reasonably priced for the portions in my opinion with the exception of the kids strips which was $19 for three stripes and fries with a chocolate milk ans a small bag of Maui potato chips. Over all everything tasted pretty good and everything was beautifully plated. Our server was amazing and gave us great advice about the resort.

Off the Hook has the best salmon over rice! The sushi rice they use is perfectly cooked (Chinese/japanese/korean uncle Roger certified cooked rice ), and the salmon is grilled to perfection—tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of char. The Olelo Room is a laid-back hotel lounge at Aulani, offering an array of cocktails and small plates. Guests can enjoy live Hawaiian music in a relaxed atmosphere, either indoors or on the outside patio. While it's primarily open for limited hours during dinner and doesn't take reservations, the experience is well worth any potential wait. The menu features breakfast items like malasadas and a variety of small plates for dinner, including gratin dishes, bang bang fries, and sushi.
This is a great place to hang out after a long day. They have Sushi, appetizers and desserts along with a good selection of fancy drinks. You can check the online menus to see if it fits your budget. The portions are good and can be used as a light dinner on nights after you over indulge at lunch. The Hawaiian music is great. The service is as attentive as you want

Came here for the first time with my friends. Everyone knows and loves Leonard's Malasadas, but my friends swear by the Olelo's Malasadas being either just as delicious or even better whaaaaaat. Anyways, we order about 10 malasadas. They're definitely larger than Leonards. In fact, they look like the buns used for the McDonald's hamburgers. Anyways, it is very delicious as well and even more so when it's warm. We basically smashed most of the box within minutes lol. Overall, definitely something to grab while you're here. I probably wouldn't drive all the way here to pick it up, but l'd say it's delicious in its own way so I can't really compare the 02 malasada shops, but at least one doesn't have a crazy long line and another has the beautiful surroundings of Disney characters. The staff were fast and friendly. Parking is located in their paid parking garage, but don't forget to validate your ticket. Lots of tables in and around the Aulani Hotel. If you're not a guest of the hotel, I believe you're not allowed outside so be mindful of that.

The sushi in this place is great. Service was a little slow and they never refilled the water glass . Atmosphere at night is okay, but they need better lighting. Even though there was a light at the table it wasn’t enough light to see the menu or in my case to see the food I was eating. Live music is a nice touch.

We visited The Olelo Room a few times during our stay at Ko Olina and highly recommend! Great for families, groups of friends or a couple. I would give 5 stars to the lovely bartenders, our server Tasha, and the live music on Tuesday and Saturdays. In my opinion, The Olelo Room has the best live music programming you can find among different Ko Olina locations. The food offering is also perfect for snacking with a cocktail, and portions are generous. The only negative aspect of our visit (for which I would give one star) was the overtly rude, unfriendly and inefficient front desk hostess. It is so unusual to have such attitude in Hawaii, and beyond that I would have really expected a little more joy and Aloha from a Disney resort.

The drinks were really delicious. But the pork au gratin was phenomenal. I'm still thinking about this appetizer. 🤤

After experiencing everything that Aulani has to offer during our stay, I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant on property. It's a shame that it's really only open for limited hours at dinner. Also, there are no reservations so you'll potentially need to be patient with their wait-list. That said, it's worth it. They advertise that they serve breakfast, but the only food they had were malasadas. We ate here more than once during our stay and tried a variety of items from the menu. There wasn't anything we were disappointed with. In addition to the food, there's a great cocktail menu and they have live entertainment every evening. If you're planning to visit Aulani make certain that you check this place out.

Wonderful atmosphere with a delicious menu of authentic prestige quality Hawaiian food. The cocktails were delicious and delivered in presentation. The wait team created a welcoming experience and ensured the table was comfortable. The live outdoor music paired alongside a magnificent sunset exceeded the expectations of my family.

Noe, located at the Four Seasons Ko Olina Resort on Oahu's Leeward Coast, is an upscale Italian restaurant that offers a contemporary twist on traditional Southern Italian cuisine. Led by Michelin-starred chef Ryo Takatsuka, the restaurant presents a menu featuring local seafood, top-quality meats, and homemade pastas in a modern outdoor setting. With its private wine label and garden oasis ambiance, Noe attracts both locals and tourists seeking an authentic Italian dining experience.
Impeccable service. We found this delightful restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel, and I'm so glad we did. Tanner and his team were fabulous. My son in-law had the steak tartar over whipped ricotta cheese. He loved it. I had the spaghetti, it was with roasted tomatoes, chili ramps and caramelized garlic. So satisfying. The stuffed pasta with potatoes and reggiano parmegano cheese with topped with crispy pancetta. Delicious and not too heavy. The mahi-mahi was also a hit, with sweet onion puree and fennel confit. The flavors complimented each other perfectly. Desserts were presented beautifully and really were a fitting end to a wonderful experience.

My rating takes into account the taste and the price they were charging. I’m going to rank the food we ate in order of favorite to least favorite: Signature tagliatelle: truffle mushroom pasta. Can’t really go wrong. The pasta has a really good bite to it. Filet mignon: we upgraded to Wagyu. The meat was really tender. It had this interesting celery sauce (ik, doesn’t sound good) that added an additional dimension of umami. Whipped ricotta: surprisingly good! The whipped ricotta pairs really well with the honeycomb and the focaccia bread which is doughy and tastes pretty good. Side note: they also serve the same focaccia bread as a starter with really good olive oil and olives. King crab pasta: pretty good. The flavor weirdly reminded me of tomyum…which is good but I wasn’t expecting it Tuna tataki: solid, but I feel like the fish wasn’t as fresh Jidori chicken: I had high hopes for this one but the chicken tasted weirdly sour. Might just be me and I don’t really like capers, but I felt like the use of capers here was not very balanced. The biggest disappointment that made me rate the food four stars instead of five was the beautiful olive cake: it was very sweet, I was imagining a light subtle flavor with hints of olive. The cake was also very dense but not in a good way. The coconut ice cream tasted like straight up vanilla.

Assaggio Kapolei is an elegant Italian-American restaurant in Kapolei, offering a romantic dining experience for couples. The eatery serves classic American-Italian dishes and provides a full bar. Despite its modern Asian restaurant appearance, the staff and food are highly praised. Guests appreciate the tender veal piccata and flavorful chicken & shrimp creamy pesto. The restaurant is known for its outstanding service and perfect atmosphere, making it a favorite dining spot in Kapolei.
My Mom is 90 yrs. old and want to spend quality time with quality food! Assaggio's is the choice.! Being in Kapolie its convenient and parking is close and up front. We ordered pupus. my favorite is the antipasto salad, their dressing is to die for. The clams casino was also another favorite the sauce with real bacon was a dipping treat with their awesome bread. Anna was our server she did an awesome job, and so did the test of the crew! keeping a very close eye on our needs.

Assaggio in Kapolei always has delicious and visually appealing food. The service is courteous, and they strive to provide a friendly atmosphere. The Bread is unbelievable I have to stop after the second basket due to the food I ordered. I tried the New York steak medium rare and the Shrimp Scampi. Everything was great and I definitely recommend them for your dining options.

When we entered the restaurant the owner's wife, Jo, greeted us with a kind, genuine conversation. I was hesitant to go to an Italian restaurant in Hawaii. How good could it be? I've been Italy 26 times and my seafood specialty plate was as good as anything I've ever had. The calamari the shrimp and mussels were fresh. The pasta cook perfectly and the tomato sauce was just like Italy. My wife got a shrimp and vegetable pasta. Fresh zucchini fresh roasted peppers mushrooms sweet carrots were out of this world. Make sure you get a hug from Jo...that means you're family!

While I have to admit that it doesn't look like a typical Italian restaurant from the East Coast (it looks more like a modern Asian restaurant) the staff and food are amazing. The staff is second to none. And the food is all you could hope for. The veal piccata was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor. My wife and mother had the chicken & shrimp creamy pesto and couldn't stop praising it. Well worth the trip and a very short drive if you're staying in Ko'Olina.

The food and service were incredible. I had the Pad Thai and my husband had the Drunkard Noodles. The medium spice was spicy so beware if you don’t have a high spice tolerance! The Spring rolls were so good too! No free soda refills unfortunately. Good size portions. Overall 9/10.

Thai Lao has been our favorite Thai food spot on Oʻahu since we moved here a year ago! The flavors are incredible, good portions and the food is always fresh and satisfying. I’m obsessed with their Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice so flavorful and perfectly balanced. My husband swears by the Panang Curry it’s rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of spice. The staff is always welcoming, and the place has a cozy, local feel that we really love. We’ve tried a few other Thai places, but nothing comes close to Thai Lao. Highly recommend if you’re craving solid, delicious Thai food with aloha!

This papaya salad is seriously amazing! Authentic Lao-style flavor — bold, spicy, and full of that rich fermented fish sauce aroma. The papaya strips are crunchy and fresh, and the seasoning hits all the right notes: spicy, salty, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Served with warm, sticky rice that’s soft and fragrant — the perfect match for a spicy dish like this. If you love real, fiery papaya salad with strong flavors, this one is a must-try!

Really incredible service. Our waiter went to great lengths to confirm our order and the cook prepared excellent vegan versions of several dishes for our family. The food at Thai Lao is top tier among all we’ve had- across the globe. We went three times in our week vacation here because the food was so good, and also because our server treated us like welcome guests. Highly recommend!

My absolute favorite SE Asian restaurant on Oahu, I eat here every time I visit! I usually get the Evil Jungle curry (which never disappoints), but got the Panang curry this time…I may as well have found Lao Jesus again. Medium spice level was just right (though I could have gone hotter), great spice balance with depth - 10/10, MUST TRY! Got the Tom Kha to share as an appetizer and it was also incredible. Light, yet very flavorful. Only tip I would have is to be sure to pull out the lemongrass pieces if you see them. Otherwise, can’t wait to order again! 9/10

Outback Steakhouse is a lively Australian-themed chain restaurant that offers a variety of hearty steakhouse fare, including steaks and seafood. The dinner experience at this establishment is remarkable, with the friendly and helpful server, Pisa, ensuring customer satisfaction. Throughout the meal, the attentive manager Danny consistently checked on tables to ensure everything was delightful. Their appetizer recommendation of the Loaded Bloom and special Tim Tam cake were both incredibly tasty and worth ordering again in the future.
Went 2/8 for dinner with a friend and had a great time!!! Our server Nick was AMAZING he always made sure we had what we needed and that everything was up to standards. ** UPDATE ** Hit up Outback on Tuesday night to try the "Tuesday Tails" deal. Seated at a bar booth with the bartender Royce as our server. Once again, our server, food, and runners all displayed top notch customer service! The main reason for my update is to give props out to, possibly the best Host person I have seen in action! This time I was able to catch his name, Darnell! What a beautiful soul, genuine, kind & really sets the tone for customers to have a great experience as soon as they walk in & as they leave. Can someone give this guy a raise!? Tipped him on the way out because his inner light truly brightens up the place & he should know his efforts are appreciated. Once again, nothing but good things to say about this spot! ** Initial Review ** Excellent service! Our host was super friendly. My wife and I used to dine at the Hawaii Kai Outback, which unfortunately closed, so we drove all the way from Kailua to give this location a try for lunch. There was adequate parking, and we were seated immediately since it wasn't very busy. We like to go to Outback mainly for the appetizers. So we ordered a Bloomin' Onion, Bloomin' Shrimp, Aussie Cheese fries and a Prime rib sandwich to share. The three appetizers were good and fried well, but our Bloomin' Onion was a small onion, and they forgot to give us the ranch that's supposed to come with the Aussie cheese fries. Service was alright. She never really checked on us, but she did make sure to fill out waters when they were close to empty. Overall, I like the Kapolei Outback, I'd most likely dine here again!

This Outback was another fantastic Oahu location. The meal was perfect from beginning to end. The person that sat us was fun and funny. We had an awesome server that was on it with drinks and food; plus a super nice food runner that was tag teaming to help. Food timing was perfect. Not too fast and rushed or too slow. Everything was cooked perfect. I did the two lobster tails, kids were on grilled cheese, hubs did filet and lobster. It's the perfect location when running errands. Everything is close by... Home Depot, Target, Costco and more. Starbucks is across the parking lot. Lots of easy, free parking. Easy to get in and out. I highly recommend this location for sure.

Outback Steakhouse Kapolei was enjoyable. Employees are polite and courteous. A rye roll of bread greeted us after being seated! The bread was warm, soft, sweet and even better with margarine! Orders come out in a fair amount of wait time. The waitress checked on our table often. Aussie-tizers Bloomin' onions, bloomin' shrimp and deep fried calamari were delicious! Their signature prime rib is the best! Also their Tasmanian chili, spicy and hearty with chunks of steak! Birthday person is celebrated with a scoop of vanilla fudge ice cream and a lighted candle! Call ahead to shorten your wait time! Ample parking!

Had a great anniversary dinner at outback’s Kapolei tonight with my husband. Greeted with a warm welcome at the door by the Hostess Janice. she was super sweet and welcoming. Didn’t take too long to get seated into a booth next to the bar. It was recommend by Janice as well. I think she picked up that we wanted to have a nice (quiet) dinner. she was on point with that. We definitely Prefer the calmer atmosphere vs by the bigger grouped tables. Soon after being seated at our booth we were greeted with another warm welcome by our waitress kylee (sorry if I spelt that wrong). Gave us more than enough time to figure out what we wanted to order. She was quick with noticing when we ran out of drinks, never had us waiting long, was very friendly and attentive even when she needed to help her other tables. Me and the husband were so full from the appetizers that we couldn’t finish our actual dinner plates. Everything was so yummy, me and the husband felt so bad we couldn’t finish. All in all, service was great, food was on point as always, atmosphere was great. Me and the husband have ordered take out from here before but for a first time sitting inside, it was a good experience. We will be back to eat inside again. Thank you!

This brick-oven pizzeria, which is part of a well-established local chain, offers a diverse menu, a fully stocked bar, and multiple television screens. It's surprising that it took so long to discover this establishment. The service is exceptional, the drink specials are distinctive, and the food is delectable. One can easily notice the pride they take in crafting their pizza and other dishes using fresh ingredients.
My wife, our daughter & son-in-law, and I were craving pizza and beer after a long beach day, and a Google search revealed this venue nearby our AirBnb with a 4.2 rating, so we thought we'd give it a go.. Aside from a little less than fully attentive server, our experience with Brick Oven Pizza was largely positive.. We sampled the "Cajun" chicken wings (7 pcs) as an appetizer and shared a large pizza topped as follows: ½ double pepperoni & ½ pepperoni, Italian sausage, and jalapeños.. I think we expected our chicken wings to be "tossed" in a Cajun-oriented sauce, but they were delivered tableside without any sauce and "might" have been slightly sprinkled with some sort of "Cajun" seasoning at best.. That said, they were fresh, crisp, and tasted great, especially after they were drizzled with hot sauce, which we ordered on the side.. Our pizza was the star of the show.. Amply topped, the entire pie was quite flavorful, and the garlic butter infused crust made this pizza "pop!" There was nothing we didn't like about this pizza!! Our beers were served cold, just as they should be, and all in all, we enjoyed our first visit here..

Posting this for the owner, I hope that it’s seen and heard. I’m sure you’ve received complaints before about the Caesar salad. $16 for this isn’t right. It’s just lettuce. Picture shows what is advertised on the menu vs what we received. Your general manager is also probably the rudest person I’ve spoken with in customer service but I’m sure you’ve gotten complaints about her too. I was told by the manager that the GM would call me back to make this right. Later when I got in touch with the GM, she told me I would have needed to bring this back in that night in order to refund. I was never told that, or else I would have. If the GM was polite and apologetic that would be one thing, but she was rude, accusatory, and completely unprofessional. Posting this for everybody else who has to deal with the GM/ and warning everybody to not order the Caesar. ******Edit as a response to the owner- I was charged $16 for lettuce and sauce. Nobody ever offered to make this right, and I was never told about the refund policy where you MUST come back in to get a refund. Obviously the menu item has chicken on it, that wasn’t the point. Cheese? Croutons? The problem is the customer service is horrible, as you can see reading the owners response. Save yourself the trip:)

Once we started we weren't ordering alcoholic drinks, our server treated us like trash. The servers that weren't ours were nicer and more attentive than the one that was assigned to us! Regret even leaving a tip. The pizza also doesn't taste like "Brick Oven". It wasn't horrible tasting, but more like false advertising.

worst dining experience you can ever think of. the server totally ruined our evening. Server Tewai is the worst. She ignored us for the entire time. We had to ask for a ranch 6 times, which is not free. Asked her couple times before and after we received pizza. I had to go to the register and ask her there. Gave me a look and still it took her a while to bring 1 ranch, even tho, I asked for 2. The food was okay. Pasta was nice, pizza is okay, won’t order again. Spent almost 90$ for the shitty dinner. Not worth it. Totally disappointed.

We were visiting from the continental 48 and we were looking for something more like home. This place was great. Honestly some of the best pizza I've had. We got the calamari to start which was great. Then we got the meat lovers which was the star. The pizza was nicely loaded and cooked just right. The crust had a nice crunch to it. Then we followed it up with a pineapple chicken. It wasn't like a traditional one. This wasn't bad though. I actually enjoyed it more that what you would normally get. The chicken seemed very fresh. If you stop here's try the ranch. It's a homemade ranch. I want to say it's the best ranch I've had in my life. Our waitress was also great. She gave us recommendations from the menu that didn't disappoint. She also took care of us. Give this place a try if you are in the area!

okay wow. Y’all need to run fast to this place. If you don’t like Poke, that’s fine, their KATSU and garlic butter shrimp are to die for. That garlic butter shrimp was the best I ever had and I could’ve eaten it for every meal my entire trip. I also loved the poke. We got to sample them as well and shoyu was my favorite but the California was a close second. Sadly, it was too spicy for me but if I could handle spice, I would’ve gotten California poke! We also got the poke nachos and there was so much poke and sauce and toppings and all were well portioned throughout the plate. Also, I wasn’t expecting this but their fries were delicious! As for me, my favorite thing to grab is their ube cheesecake. :) So if you're in need of a good suggestion for poke' bowls other than your typical Foodland Poke' Bowls 🥣 this place is definitely on that map of suggestions. :D As they have tables for you to enjoy your bowl and just relax for a while.

A bit pricey for the amount of poke you get in each dish but well worth it given the freshness and flavor. The poke nachos are different than anything I've had before and are a must try. The full order allows a choice of two poke flavors and uses fried wonton chips in place of tortilla chips. The best deal on the menu is probably the poke bowls. Make sure to get the dirty rice. While the wait time for a table can be long, the hosts efficiently notify customers when their table is ready via text message. We went during the weekend so just know expect to wait at least 30-40 min minimum during dinner. The hostess was nice and told us it was gonna be a long wait but I expect that every time I come 😂. After we sat down they offered us some bread and of course you have to eat the brown bread, it’s sweet and delicious. As for the food… I love Cheesecake Factory so I usually order 3 things… cheeseburger egg rolls a definite must have. Don’t knock it till you try it! The miso salmon, it’s sweet and salty plus I love the snap 🫛, just that sauce alone makes the whole dish. And last but not least the Chicken Madeira! It’s so good, definitely the sauce is the ⭐️. After I ordered not a cheesecake but the tiramisu, I wanted to try something different and it was delicious.

I went here with my girlfriend for lunch. I ordered spaghetti and sausage. Disproportionate ratios. The entire plate filled with pasta, not so much sauce, and sparse sausage. I talked to the manager and he accommodated a change to ribeye with mash potatoes and green beans. Picture says it all. On a positive note their strawberry smoothie is delicious 🤤 Owner : I ordered mash potatoes. You folks served me whole potatoes. I ordered green beans. You folks served me burnt beans. No we will not be since you charged us full price for crappy food.

Bottom line: Nothing to complain about. Went in for lunch had some chicken with pasta and some cheesecake of course. The service was good, pleasant and attentive. No complaints... The food was tasty, well made and was presented well. The cheesecake was very good. Personally I've had better but this is in my top ten, for sure. The restaurant was clean and comfortably cool. It seemed very well maintained. All in all it was a pleasure eating there. This was my first visit to a cheesecake factory and it probably will not be my last.

It was our fault for arriving at 6pm on a Saturday night; the wait was about an hour long. The food was great, but it took a while to get to us as it was a busy night. It's amazing that they have such a huge selection of food and cheesecakes to choose from. There's something for everyone here! The staff was wonderfully friendly and checked on how we were doing periodically. I'd definitely come back again but would come a little earlier. While we waited, we walked around the Kamakana Alii shopping mall, which has a variety of specialty shops and other restaurants.

Great dinner on a Saturday night. Didn’t have reservations but wait wasn’t too bad for a weekend - just under 30 minutes. Enjoyed the outdoor patio seating.

Always serving up some good food. Ordered the Diane steak bits, 4 cheese pasta, cucumber salad, and biscuits. Trust me these cucumbers tasted like the ones I get at DTF. Our server has an injured arm but she didn't miss a beat. Kept our water full and bought the food in a timely fashion.

Decided to order take out. I wanted to try their crab dip. I didn't look at the order until I got home. When I looked into the box I was disgusted. It looked really gross. Also, it had something green on the outside of the box container. Horrible packaging and really poor presentation. It was $17 for this.. Would never order again!

I had a great dinner tonight with my daughter and mother , the team was super friendly. The Manager Freddy remembered me from the last time and was extra cool! I had even seen my server from the last time as well and he said hi and made small talk. Great atmosphere! The food was great . The carne asada plate was better than expected and the Godiva Sundae is a 12/10 as always. Sierra our waitress was very nice as well , quick and attentive. Overall a solid dining experience. Got some peach cheesecake to take home as well!

Sushi Bay is a popular conveyor-belt sushi restaurant known for its informal setting and quality Japanese dishes. Despite its casual atmosphere, the restaurant takes its sushi and complementary dishes seriously, attracting both locals and tourists. Customers praise the friendly service and quick service of delicious sushi at reasonable prices. While there may be a wait during busy times, many opt for takeout due to the popularity of the establishment.
When I go to restaurant, Quality AND Quantity are equally important. Sushi Bay is prob my new fav place in the area. HUGE portion, AWESOME price, and deliciously satisfying. That unagi is so big, no joke it’s like 3x bigger of other sushi places. The poke bowl portion is g.e.n.e.r.o.u.s! If you getting other sushi plates in menu, should get the mini poke bowl. I made mistake getting large poke bowl + 3 sushi plates order, stomach about to explode. Already planning to go back there in few days.

If you are a sushi lover, then this is the place for you! It is incredibly delicious here! A varied menu for every taste! We fell in love with this place from the first meeting!

I'd prefer this place for sushi any day👏🏽 they are very welcoming through service. Although the wait times are longer depending on the rushes- you won't be disappointed! Atmosphere could use some work, only because for us Polynesian people, especially are bigger than Asians so its an adjustment when you need to walk up and in the way of ppl who phone order + the workers. The walkways are really petite. Food is 10/10😋 super tasty & FRESH! thank you!

I came here for the hamachi nigiri. I was told there was none. I asked the waitress to please double check and without hesitation she said "we're all out." It's fine if things are out of stock so I ordered other items. However, when people next to us who were seated well after us and ordered well after us got a plate of hamachi nigiri I had to ask our waitress what's up? She said she was mistaken and that they were out of the hamachi Kama (the cooked collar of the fish) and she asked if I wanted hamachi to-go but at that point we'd already ordered and received most of our other food. The waitress also said she'd check if there was miso soup. She never come back with a response. I had to ask the sushi chef about our unagi nigiri. He told us he accidentally gave it alway to the people next to us. When we got our last item the spicy tuna roll, it was mostly rice and there was more cucumber than there was fish (see pic). We also had to flag someone down for water. Service 101. This definitely wasn't worth the hour drive to get here from the windward side in traffic, and the 30 minute wait it took to get seated. This deserved 0% tip, but being in the service industry for many years I never tip less than 20%. I hope they realize I'm happy to tip 30%, 50%, or 100% for good service/ food quality/ atmosphere. Auwe.

We love the portion sizes here. I wouldn't argue it to be the best sushi, but definitely a great place for lunch and dinner. They always have a line. Love their udon too.
Leslie N — Google review
Best food, fresh sushi, and value, hands down. It's very popular, and there's always a line.
Russ L — Google review
This is one of the few places where the food is still 💣 even for takeout! I love coming here, especially for the Spicy Tuna & Udon combo — such a great deal! I also can’t get enough of the Chicken Karaage and Squid Karaage. These four dishes are my go-tos every time. I usually order takeout because there’s always a line to dine in (which says a lot about how good it is!). Definitely recommend this spot — you won’t be disappointed!

First time here and all I can say is “take my money”! The wait was longer than expected but I’m glad we waited it was well worth it. Ordering was very simple, food was fresh and full of flavor. Not too pricey and the amount of food for the price was good. Our picky eater decided he wanted to go again tomorrow! We’ll be back to try more of these delicious dishes.

Denny's is a casual diner chain known for serving classic American comfort food, including all-day breakfast favorites. Customers have praised the restaurant for its friendly and attentive staff, reasonable prices, and good selection of items. The establishment is also appreciated for being open 24 hours, making it a convenient option for those looking to dine late at night or in the early morning. Despite being short-staffed at times, Denny's employees are commended for their teamwork and dedication to providing great service.
This restaurant goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome from start to finish. The host, servers, and even the employees cleaning the restaurant care about the customers. When you walk in you are greeted warmly with a smile and seated in a timely manner if they are busy or not. I feel so seen and cared for when going to this Denny's. The servers are so kind, patient, and thoughtful they always check on each guest. I get my meal done exactly the way I want it every time and if it isn't they make sure to make it right. This is what customer service should be at for every restaurant. I appreciate and value the commitment to making the customer happy no matter what.

Came to enjoy breakfast after a football game. The place was practically empty yet the wait was long. A nice waitress explained that cook staff called out, understandable I ordered from the 55+ menu. I asked for ALL bacon yet I was severed pork sausage - instead Strike #1. My waiter was a very nice young man who seemed a bit over zealous and kept disturbing my meal strike #2. I asked for the menu again to order desert but asked him to give me 10 min to let my food settle. He promptly brought out the dessert strike #3. I went to the restroom & when I returned by desert was GONE & my table cleaned & cleared. When I asked what happened, the bus boy said he thought I left and then laughed about it,Strike #4 then to add insult to injury the waiter asked if I wanted to buy one to go. Strike #5. I left totally inflamed. To satisfy my sweet tooth I traveled all the way to Denny's Waikiki on Kuhio & Kapahulu where I knew I would be treated well & I was. The NEW chocolate chip cookie pie was extremely satisfying..

It's Dennys nothing crazy. From our experience there we had slow service and wasn't busy. We just went there for quick meal but ended up waiting for like 30mins just to be seated. I fell asleep at the chair area, and surprised my wife didn't wake me up and pull me out the door. Additionally, the parking lot there is small and shared by other businesses, so it can be hard to find parking.

These four stars totally belong to the service team. Our visit included some awesome service and I couldn’t praise them more. The food is okay, about what can be expected from a chain restaurant. The spicy crispy chicken was a bit gristly and the buffalo sauce was much overdone, like the cooks got excited that someone ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. The building is pretty antiquated with 1970ish style and missing ceiling tiles, I presume from water leaks. All in all, the service is what made this visit pleasant.
Jakob Z — Google review
Had to minus 3 stars for the hostess' inability to prioritize. She chose to finish writing up her board before seating us. Also for the cold "hot" food that we were served. I've received freshly cooked, hot fries and onions rings, and a warm burger at drive thrus! Lastly, although our server/waitress was pleasant, it took her a while to get our food AND bill to us.

Update 1/25/2019; 2 in our party. Waited on a friday night around 7pm about 5 minutes the food was delicious. Kaleo and Chelsi took good care of us. Now WITH Endless Garden salad bar for $15 now you can add endless soup( 2 choices) or farm trio 3 items to pick from; for additional $3.00 not bad at all. Lots of changes to the menu check it out.

Kazoku Sushi is an Asian kitchen located in a shopping center, offering a diverse selection of sushi served on a rotating conveyor belt. The food is highly praised for its deliciousness and the skill of the sushi chefs. It's recommended to make reservations to avoid long waits, especially during busy times. The restaurant offers a variety of specialty rolls such as California and Philly inspired options. While the ambience is decent, some visitors noted that the conveyor belt was not operational during their visit.
we came from town all the way here for the first time and decided to eat here as they had no wait, it was a great decision in the end because the food was 10/10. it’s a super small family owned place, only one serve and (i believe) the owner going around helping customers. service was great and the chefs handed the rolls directly to us at our table once they were prepared! super happy with our experience.

This is one of the best sushi places. We always come here when in Hawaii. Sushi was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere and service was great. Food was brought out fast.
Vito V — Google review
Got the aloha bowl which was $21. It was okay, the fish didn't taste old and wasn't stringy. But other than that there was nothing amazing about it. I thought the layer of crab mayo would add something to it but it didn't really. I didn't even know it was gonna be artificial crab but I'm not really surprised.
Kiwi T — Google review
Get right down to it. Food is delicious. On point. The sushi chefs really did their thing. Hard recommend on the food. For seating, my family and I went on a Saturday. There was a bit of a wait. It led me to believe that the food was going to be worth it. Whilst waiting, a party of 3 walked right up to the front and claimed their reservation, in front of us and another walk up family. So, make reservations to this place. It'll save you a wait, perhaps. There might be 5 or 6 tables to the right, and a sushi bar to the left. It's a little cramped by the bar, and that's where we sat, but it didn't seem to have that much of an affect on the actual food. In hindsight, I would reserve a table for 4. Full circle, the food was superb. Good job.

The food was awesome, no doubt. You could see the chef make it for you. Their selection of food is diverse. You'll find California and Philly inspired specialty rolls. The ambience is okay too. They have a conveyor belt that makes food go around but it was NOT operational during the time we went here. Only downside for me is the price. We spent 80 on food here and it was just me and my wife. You can check out the menu. I would go to Kats Sushi if I wanted to really get stuffed with Japanese food without going broke.
Allan R — Google review
Randomly picked a place for dinner because we missed lunch and we were seated immediately. Rolls were bomb! Like way better than anticipated. This is the worst taco bell location. Waited one hour for an online mobile order. Manager has no leadership skills and the staff have zero guidance. Multiple people were waiting one hour plus for their orders and the manager was hiding in the back not addressing any complaints. Highly recommend going to a different location and everyone to complain to corporate so the location can receive remedial training. Manager needs to undergo training on how to give positive and efficient customer service.

I absolutely LOVE Taco Bell however this location isn't the best. Every time I go in the drive thru it takes an act of Congress for them to get it right. When I dine in they are always missing multiple items from my order and when it's brought to the managers attention about the missing items there is little to no customer service. And yes I understand it's just fast food but if you aren't busy and have a kitchen full of employees there shouldn't be a reason for missing items.

At a little half passed midnight, This location got my order completely wrong. Should've known better but I only checked when I was in the freeway already. I tried to call a couple of times but got left with the busy tone. Workers must've given me someone else's order cause not even the drink sizes were correct. Paid more for less.

Came in on a Saturday night and the food was quite empty (the filling inside of the Mexican pizza was spare) very little toppings etc. Came again on Tuesday night and had planned to dine in - which the location says is open until atleast 12 am. However it was only 9:30 and the dine in was closed. Placed my order in the drive thru and staff forgot to give me part of my order. I then had to go back in the drive thru to let them know part of my order was missing and wait almost another 10 minutes, while the rest of my food got cold. Would not recommend the food or service.

Kalapawai Cafe & Deli is a popular breakfast spot located in West Oahu, HI, just a short distance from Ko Olina Beach Park. It's known for its casual and friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The cafe offers delicious deli breakfast sandwiches that you can enjoy on picnic benches or take with you for a beach outing.
We've been here several times but this time we went twice in a week about 6p. First time it was with my husband and niece. Second time was with some friends. Love the casual atmosphere. We had the poke nachos is ok but I like how crispy the chips were. Love the seafood dishes. My husband loves when they have lamb specials. The desserts are decent. The drinks are OK.

Great spot to grab a quick bite but feel like an upscale sit down restaurant. You place order at the counter and then they bring it out to your table. Ordered breakfast plate. Spam, Portuguese sausage, bacon, eggs and rice for only $10. Pretty good deal for a breakfast of that size. We ordered the hummus wrap too. Wrap was good but did not hold up as it broke apart when we were eating it. However it tastes great and was a healthy option that came with side green salad with house dressing. There is outdoor seating that also includes and outdoor and indoor bar set up too. Price is worth it for the serving portions.

I have been eating at Kalapawai for years now and have never had a poor experience. The dinner menu is very impressive and they are very accommodating to my family’s allergies and celiac disease! My only complaints would be service members could be more friendly and during dinner time the outside seating can be quite hot so I would be prepared for that!

Delicious menu with decent kids menu. We ate dinner here twice during our stay in Hawaii. The fish tacos are delicious, although I wish they used a better tortilla. Both the poke nachos and poke salad are delicious with generous portions of fish. The crab artichoke dip was good, but I wouldn’t order it again. It was too cheesy drowning the delicate flavor of the crab. I highly recommend eating here.

So happy to have Kalapawai on the West side!! The food is so delicious and that’s not a joke. Everything we have tried here has been terrific! For lunch you order at the counter and they will bring to your table, go dinner you are seated and will receive a menu. Dinner selections are amazing, for appetizers would highly recommend the hummus platter, the carrots are to die for! The only thing I would say to improve the dish is to add a little more of the delicious pita bread. The Poke Nachos are so delicious there is no comparison! The flavors mix together so well, you could eat this as a plate all on its own. This is definitely one of our favorite places to go now. They also have a bar with TV that usually has the sports games playing. A very nice casual restaurant. Highly recommended!!!

The people are nice. The environment was clean and decent. The food gets one star for being made of fresh ingredients. The tastes gets no stars. I got Da Aina burger. The burger was barely warm. Their "spiced tomato jam" seemed to be pieces of canned tomatoes. I am not sure. They were not wet. The avacado was fine. The arugula was fresh. The bun was dry. The sandwich was nearly impossoble to eat because it was dey and cold. I am not sure if they toasted the bun. However, all the ingredients were cold and the burger was cold in the middle. The French fries had good flavor, but they were so cooked that these shoelace fries were like eating crunchy, seasoned cardboard. I was sad and disappointed.

We went to eat at my son’s favorite restaurant for his birthday. The food was excellent however what outshined was the service. My first time ever at Chili’s was at this location. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Chili’s so I was soooo excited to try them finally We spent $80 for 2 adults and 1 toddler. We got the kid’s pepperoni pizza that came with fries & drinks for $12. 2 orders of the triple dipper, a sprite & molten cake (to go). Honestly my toddler’s food was wayyyy better than the triple dippers and I hate to admit it esp with them being $22 each. My mozzarella sticks weren’t melted so it tasted like I was eating a block of cheese with crust. Big mouths were dry but the chicken tenders (whatev they call it) was good. the customer service was good but we most likely won’t be coming back due to the food being expensive and not worth the price.

We came tonight (family of 6) and we were told that the wait for the table would be around an hour long. We actually got in half an hour earlier than expected, so kudos to all the staff that got us in quicker. We were served by Quinten, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He really made our night with his exceptional service. Super attentive, accommodating, polite, quick and overall superb service from Quinten. The food was delicious (as always), and the atmosphere at Chili's always gives a tremendous vibe. This place is great for a family outing, a date night, or even a small dinner with a few friends. Despite having a busy night AND having a trainee, Quinten made sure we had everything we needed, and then some. Quinten went above and beyond for us tonight, and his hard work should not go unnoticed. He was on top of his game, and sincerely some of the best service we've ever received at a restaurant. He was a pleasure, and next time we visit, we sure do hope we see him again. 10/10, highly recommended! Shout out to ALL the fantastic staff at this location!

I never go to chains, I love the momma and papa's and going to the fresh spots to support the locals. The store was dusty throughout, and the food was barely seasonal, if any. The service was good, and the potato soup was the bomb. Other than that, this place was a bust. This place will be closed within the next 5 years. If they don't change something up. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Kapolei Chinese Restaurant is a traditional eatery offering a wide range of familiar Chinese dishes, with a particular focus on seafood. While some customers have had mixed experiences, others have found the service to be prompt and attentive. The menu features typical items found in other Chinese restaurants in Hawaii, and loyal customers are treated well by the friendly staff. The atmosphere is typical of a Chinese restaurant, and the portions are generous.
Dishes are NOT a la carte. Every dish is meant to share, and can probably feed three to four people. The food is pretty good, the lo mein is actually crispy noodles. You have to order rice on a per person basis.

It used to be good but this is under new owner and new chef. Hubby and I thought we would come here since we haven’t been here in a while. We got the shrimp canton the batter was pretty thick. They made it look big but the shrimp is small. It’s a size 41/50. I always made sure my shrimps are cooked since we had bad experience at other places and the shrimp was raw inside. I got the seafood crispy noodle and I put half on my plate and luckily I did not eat it yet. I noticed there was a worm stuck on my chopsticks. I looked carefully and asked hubby to check and said it was a worm for sure. I called the manager and immediately when I showed him the worm he knew and said it was from the veggies. I guess he had the same issues before. Hubby got the lunch plate and it was awful. He only ate not even 1/5 of the food. We ended up wasting the food and not take any home. It does not have any Chinese flavor at all. We will not come here again.

Despite the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to try them out. We moved to Kapolei two years ago , and decided to not go here because of past reviews. Well, we ordered the shrimp with black bean sauce and the chicken cake noodle. We were surprised that both actually tasted good. I guess we don't have to drive to Waipahu for chinese food anymore should we get cravings next time.

I read mix reviews about this place and went there expecting the worst. The restaurant was not at all busy when I went. I was greeted and seated right away. Hot tea and water served within seconds. The food came really fast too. Probably less than 5 minutes of wait time. The Yang Chow style fried rice was kind of plain and tasteless. Kungpao chicken was by far the least authentic kungpao chicken i ever had. Worse than Panda Express. The chicken tasted okay, it's just not Kungpao. There's like one red pepper in there, literally one! Other than that, beef broccoli and salt/pepper short ribs were on point. I'd come back just for those ribs. Very delicious! The workers were friendly and very attentive. Water cups were constantly filled. Definitely will come back!
Ariel W — Google review
The Chinese was not good, chicken had smell, water had smell due to water or ice, orange chicken was not authentic, garlic chicken was having chicken smell, fried chicken had smell and not well cooked. The soup was like 5 days old.
Rashid M — Google review
It was okay. Sweet and sour pork and duck breast were both good. Chow mein was gross, slimey noodles with no taste. Dont seem to understand the concept of appetizers, won tons came after all the other food was delivered and the spring rolls didn't come until we were already finished with our meal. Spring rolls were good but won tons had very little filling which was hard and dry.

Real Chinese cuisine, I like their spicy dishes. Been doing the dinner for 3, three of us hardly put a dent in that much food

The restaurant is known for its margaritas made with fresh, local ingredients and popular dishes like Birria tacos and Ceviche. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, it's conveniently situated within walking distance of Aulani and the 4 Seasons resort.
We stopped by before the dinner slam. It was scrumtious, delicious. The enchilada burrito (I call it mojado) was bomb! The chips and salsa sampler was perfect. The fajitas were superb. I am going back tomorrow! Also the elote corn was mouth watering! If you are on Oahu this place is worth the drive.

This is my first time eating here. I loved the burrito I chose. ( MACHO BURRITO ) I ate out on the patio alone enjoying the sound of birds & golfers. The Macho Burrito was so yummy & filling. The environment is were friendly and welcoming! Everything tasted so good together, I loved the add of side lettuce. I added it to my burrito :P

A great dining experience, with amazing food, amazing staff and all in a great location. Just a short walk across from Aulani resort we found this beautiful Mexican restaurant. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I had the best Fajitas I’ve ever had. A combination of steak and chicken, in delicious spices, served on a skillet. I would highly recommend a visit to Mekiko Cantina 👏🥰

Awesome service, great atmosphere and vibes, pretty good food. The food was pretty good by all acounts, this definitely isn't the best Mexican food but given were so far from the hubs of Mexican Flavors it definitely does the job! The Fajitas and Churros were fantastic, and the birria was a little lacking in flavor based on what we're used to being from LA.

Should be rated higher for sure! Great service and friendly staff! Went for lunch around 11 when they opened to celebrate one year anniversary with my husband. Got the margarita flight….liked how each margarita was very different. Usually margarita flights are just a different fruit flavor but these had more variety. Chips and salsa 10/10!! Got bacon wrapped shrimp which was also 10/10. I got the chicken taquitos and they were a 8/10. The real show stopper was the birria tacos! 12/10!! Lots of parking around the area, you just have to pay. Paid $8 for two hours, not bad. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Shoutout to who I believe was the manager, he had a great playlist going of Spanish rock! Our server was also amazing!! Will be coming back for sure!! Go Cowboys ⭐️

First...This place is amazing. The food was delicious and very flavorful! The staff was amazing! Kind, courteous, and always had a smile! I want to give a shout out to our server, Jill. Jill you were an amazing server! The next time we are in Oahu, we will definitely have a meal or 2 there! Mahalo!

Always keep coming back for their generous and tasty portions — food and alcoholic drinks. Service is really friendly. The seating area is small but at least when they have live music it is more of an intimate experience compared to Monkeypod‘s massive outside patio.

Coming from the Midwest on the mainland, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever had. I ordered the triple salsa with nachos for an appetizer and the carnitas pork dish. Everything was full of flavor and delicious. It’s right across the street from the Four Seasons Ko Olina, so you can easily walk there in 5mins at most if you want to avoid the reasonable parking fee in the general plaza parking lot.

This place was recommended by a friend and it did not let us down! Everything was phenomenal! I very highly recommend it, even for the little ones. I wish I could eat here all the time, but we’re only visiting.

A good place for ramen and other stuff. Got the big ramen. Large portions, pretty good flavor. Lots of everything. Went with my mom as it's her favorite ramen place. Fast and friendly service. This place has won best ramen on Oahu for a decade.
Alan L — Google review
Service is poor because we did not notice the sign on the wall stating “new” fiber noodles for an extra cost of 1$. I feel they should ask us as they are taking our order.!!! I failed to get pictures of our large orders. Vegetable Ramen is suttle, plain, no flavor. Add your own flavor ? The gals were not taking our “suggestion” to make a note to advertise it upon taking order. I would’ve love to try it. My house eats genji-mai rice and keto bread and other fiber focus items. Also note - they charge for take out containers ! See picture of receipt !
Cathrina E — Google review
Even though we called ahead of time for take out, it took us a whole HOUR before we could eat because they forgot the curry, a crucial part of the chicken katsu curry dish, to our order. No offer to make it right or any consideration for our time (had to drive back and forth twice for a total of 40 mins) or our now - cold food.. people need to do better and be more professional.
Aris S — Google review
Good portion sizes and service, but definitely not an authentic ramen experience. Overall, decent for a chain ramen place and would go again on a hungry day. There were 4 pieces of pork, good quantity not quality-pork was dry and fatty. Noodles texture was nice and chewy, but a little undercooked and stuck together. The tan tan ramen broth tasted more flavorful than tonkatsu broth. Tonkatsu broth tasted a little similar to instant ramen. The egg was pretty hard boiled and not the “ajitama” eggs you’d expect for a ramen egg at all.
Jenny S — Google review
Good place to get a quick bowl of decent ramen. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen; a fine broth, but lacking depth and wqw under salted. The pork was thinly sliced and on the less tender end. Egg was boiled past that nice perfect ramen point, but turned out fine. Nice atmosphere and very quick turnaround to get food. Staff is very friendly and prompt with service.

Food was really good and the portions are very generous. I ordered the Big Ramen bowl was able to substitute the regular with Udon noodles. There was about 12 tables in the restaurant and they do have in-person dining or takeout. I did takeout and the food was ready in 10 minutes which was really fast. They had amazing takeout bowls and portioned out everything so I could make the dish how I wanted when I got home.

Hostess wasn't really friendly. She just didn't care at all to any of her customers. Our waitress on the other hand was extremely friendly and served us well. Food was good. Besides the hostess, it was a nice place for lunch.

Before I share my experience I just want to say me and my family were really excited to have CPK. This was our first time at the Kapolei location. First off I just want to say how disappointed I am at the employees who were working on December 17, 2024. The hostess working that night had a sassy attitude. What made me really upset is at the end of the night we asked for take out containers and she blatantly tossed our containers on the table. The service here was slow even though there wasn’t that much people in the restaurant. We asked the hostess nicely for bread because our waitress was busy and she said she would get it but we kept on seeing her walking back and forth doing other things. The atmosphere gave off a tense vibe. I’m also not happy with how my food was prepared. From looking at my food it looked great but I couldn’t even eat my food because the bun was rock hard cold. My bun on the bottom was super soggy. I tasted the inside of my burger and it was super salty. The best part about my meal was the butter cake. What really makes me angry is the hostess that was working that night. The moment we walked in I should’ve known to walk out and pick another place to eat because she had a horrible attitude and she gave off a very angry vibe. I will definitely not be dining here again. The whole experience was horrible.

I ordered the NEW - NEAPOLITAN BURRATA PIZZA. The pizz itself was good. The problem is that it's apparently corporate policy to not cook & assem the pizza. They sent me a crust with sauce, then a container of 2 rolls of burrata, soaked & wilted basil, & a container of oil & balsamic. After waiting for an hour & 50 minutes for my order, I then had to assemble & cook my pizza. And no. There wasn't a discount for me having to make my own pizza. I'm just blown away that people in the restaurant have to actually make their own pizzas. I wonder if they have to eat it cold or if they're allowed to go back into the kitchen to cook it?

Had dine in with the family. Servers didn't really check in on us often, but it was understandable as she was not just serving our party but other tables as well as cleaning up after them too. The food was good. I got the Mexicans street corn, dumplings, and chicken fettuccine pasta. I got pretty full from the appetizers and the bread and olive oil. So I took my pasta home for lunch the next day. It was still good.

I did a take out order and got an artichoke dip and got this! (See photo) the artichoke dip was cold and look at the portion? I was shocked when I opened the container. The dip is not even half way of the container. Looking at it seem like it was only 3 tablespoon of artichoke dip. And the dip was so cold. Unbelievable. Just because its a take out doesnt mean they shouldnt care about the food. Very disappointed! Never again ordering here ! What a joke! $16 for this little portion!

Solely based on kitchen service. Came in and ordered a Thai crunch salad at 4:35pm from takeout. It's now 5:15, and still waiting...for a salad!! There have been 3 whole tables occupied the whole time I'm here, each table with 2 people each. Chicken may take longer than a pizza to cook , but it don't take 40min! Especially for how thin the chicken is that comes on the salad. Checked in on it at 5:15, told "so sorry, they're working on it now" yyyyyea ok. You're talking to a server, I know what that means. The one good thing about this experience, was the local girls who were taking the orders. Very sweet and polite. Kitchen needs help, maybe they're short staffed. But atleast let servers know when food is taking longer than normal. That's common restaurant courtesy . Finally got my order at 5:20pm.

I joined the online waitlist and waited over an hour at home on Veteran’s Day to avoid having my children cause a disturbance only to be rudely greeted by the manager who said they weren’t honoring the waitlist. He then proceeded to publicly announce to the 50+ people in line that they weren’t allowing waitlist guests to “skip the line” in front of everyone waiting. If you’re going to publicly shame someone for using a feature that you offer for convenience, then maybe turn it off instead of putting paying customers on blast in front of everyone. Needless to say, I did not wait another hour for a free pizza and I’m debating whether I want to patronize this place ever again.
Nicholas C — Google review
Waited 23 mins for a table (told us 20-25, so not bad). Took another 22 minutes before the server came to take drinks/appetizers orders. For a simple tea and water (12 minutes, asked for three glasses of water).Took another 17 minutes for drinks from bar, in the mean time appetizers came (two were cold in the center, sent back...came back burn around the edges). No plates, no bread and still no water (another two glasses after 20 more minutes). We watched our server go to multiple tables in the next 30 minutes take food/drink orders and they getting their main meals whybwe still were ignored. Finally after being there at the table over an hour, he comes and asks if we were ready to order dinner. Told him that 40 minutes ago, even 20 we would have, but now we want our bill. We paid cash (62.00 + 3.00 tip). Told the manager on our way out how very disappointed we were in the service and the fact they had the nerve to charge us full prince for wasting our time was unbelievable. Lesson learn, never will we eat at CPK, maybe one family being treated like crap, don't matter....but it should.

Julie'z Restaurant is a simple Filipino eatery located in an unassuming strip mall, offering an all-day buffet and affordable prices. It provides a great introduction to Filipino cuisine, with impressive flavors and generous portions. The service is exceptional, provided by attentive wait staff who create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This local spot comes highly recommended for those new to Filipino food or anyone looking to try something different.
Our favorite stop on the island! Comfort food and reminds me of my family’s home cooking. Everything is delicious. Sometimes there is a wait but it goes by fast. I would recommended one thing but can’t because everything is good. I got a 2 choice combo plate with one scoop of rice (normally comes with two). I got the pinakbet and pancit. Yummy!

Came here for the first time. We ordered the adobo fried rice w/ Lechon Kawali, dinaguan and pinakbit, Lechon Kawali and Pansit, and a side order of 1 pancake. Everything tasted pretty good. The dinaguan wasn’t as good as it looked. The Adobo rice was pretty flavorful with the Lechon. The pansit noodles were ok as well. The pancake was very flavorful and had a nice crust. Staff are fast and friendly. Lots of parking and lots of tables to dine on.

NO BUFFET. We came for the famous buffet but they don’t have it anymore despite the listing still claiming they have it. Food was good and served quickly but the pork adobo was weak. This is more diner than restaurant. It’s loud and busy. Limited seating could mean a long wait.

Filipino food was good, but a little salty for me. Our server was real nice. Portion servings were large and shareable. Ordered the steamed white rice , dinuguan and pancit, and pork adobo.

First time here. Had a short 15 min wait with about 3 parties ahead of our group. Service was fast. I ordered the Lechilog which is lechon kawali with pork adobo fried rice omelette. The lechon was super crunchy on the outside with really tender meat. It paired perfectly with the pork adobo fried rice. We also ordered pancakes as I was told it was one of the best. Pancakes were chewy and may be one of the better cakes I've had. Will definitely come back for the this meal!

I would give this place one star if I could. I normally don’t leave reviews unless the experience is truly disappointing, and unfortunately this was one of them. I flew in from the mainland and my family wanted to eat here, but the service completely ruined it. The workers were rude, it honestly felt like if you don’t like your job, then quit. Our server barely checked on us, and when she did, her attitude was snobby and dismissive. Talking to her felt pointless, it was like everything went in one ear and out the other. The whole interaction felt rushed and unprofessional. To make matters worse, as we were finishing our meal, our waitress still hadn’t come back. We asked a male staff member passing by if he could bring us takeout containers, and instead of helping, he brushed us off with, “Your waitress can serve you guys.” Sir, we were clearly done if you had actually paid attention instead of brushing us off, you would have noticed. And let’s be real, when it comes to the food it’s good but the service is what leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Pho 808 is a relaxed eatery that offers classic Vietnamese dishes like pho and lemongrass vermicelli bowls. Visitors have praised the fresh and flavorful food, with highlights including the steamed fish seasoned with aromatic spices and herbs, as well as the well-seasoned chicken sandwich served on a toasted bun with tasty vegetables. While some customers noted inconsistencies in noodle portions and temperature of dishes across visits, many expressed their intention to return due to the overall excellent flavors experienced.
My husband and I have been here twice and the food has been fabulous every time we try something new it is so good wonderful herbs and spices everything fresh. Had the steamed fish and it was amazing the seasonings and spices on it were so good if you love Ginger you are going to love this steamed fish. Ate there twice within 2 weeks of each other. The flavor of the pho was excellent both times. Not consistent with the amount of noodles given. The spring rolls were barely warm (maybe it had been sitting out?) and didn't taste that good at our first visit. When we went a second time, decided to give the spring rolls another shot and glad we did. It was delicious! So again, problems with consistency. Will definitely eat there again.

Totally meets my expectation! The greeting when I first walk in, the attentive service, the variety in menu selections, and of course the tastiness of the food, all at a reasonable price, speaks to a business that aims to please the customer. One of my favorite places to dine!

Soup from a can! The health department needs to come in here and take a good look! I came for photos because the reviews look good and they are lies. This app has allowed many writers to receive free food in exchange for goods and services. And I'm from SF and know how it goes. Trust when I say it is a horrendous restaurant. I've eaten food from all over the world and have never experienced something so filthy as this place. How can you feed my family dehydrated chicken as Pho. It's so hard and dry and my niece couldn't eat it. What an insult to make Thai Tea from a premix pack? And the worst offense is to make me the worst coffee I have ever tasted. I am a coffee enthusiast and this was a disgrace. But wait there is more... the PRICE is too expensive for Pho and it's leftover food?? After a day at the beach you want a nice dinner with family. I was so disappointed. I am so insulted

I always order BBQ pork, spring rolls on vermicilli. It's rare to get both the pork and spring rolls to be great, always one or the other. At Pho 808 the pork was good, but spring rolls tasted like they had been frozen, i.e. not fresh. Nothing beats Pho Saigon in Honolulu so far.

Customers at Genki Sushi, a branch of a Japan-based chain, can select sushi and maki rolls from a moving conveyor belt. The eatery offers a wide range of affordable and delicious options to choose from. A unique feature is the ability to order directly from the table using a kiosk, while food is delivered by a small train-like system. This concept sets it apart from other restaurants and adds an element of novelty reminiscent of childhood memories.
Ignore the bad reviews. Clean, fun, tasty. The sushi was surprisingly good. Top tier and very fair prices. Extremely kid friendly. Honestly loved everything about it.
Dallin D — Google review
Hard pass. Place and food is gross. You will leave sad like their logo. Food is not good, oddly expensive, and small portions. Do not get any nigiri - you need a lot of sauce or fried battery to cover up the low quality ingredients. Nothing we got we would ever eat again. Got the seasonal special roll even though it didn't say what's in it. Did not taste good. Our table had sticky stuff on the table and menus. Our bowls had bleach-smelling liquid in them, making the ginger and wasabi inedible. Conveyor belt had all sorts of stuff on it - crumbs, fries, etc. Servers aren't happy and whisper, you can barely hear them over the loud upbeat Christmas music. Our guy filled our waters twice before our food came out but not after that. Watch your ordering for errors. My husband ordered on his phone and then I did the same. But when I submitted it, it gave me a pop up notification with no words, I could only press OK. It wasn't showing in our cart on either phone so I submitted again. Then it showed up twice. Someone did finally come when we used the call button, a friendly guy that said he'd let the kitchen know the order was doubled. But the second order started coming out on the conveyor. Called someone over again and I guess they fixed it then. Didn't stay long enough to need to use the bathroom so don't have info on it.

It’s been a long time since I last visited Genki Sushi — probably not since before COVID — and I have to say, I really miss the old setup. Back then, part of the fun was sitting down and watching all the different sushi plates pass by on the conveyor belt. You could just grab whatever caught your eye, and the color-coded plates made it easy (and kind of exciting) to keep track of how much you were spending. It had a casual, lively atmosphere that made it feel like more than just a quick meal — it was an experience. This time around, things felt pretty different. Instead of the conveyor belt, you now scan a QR code at your table to order everything through your phone. Once you place your order, a little “tram” — kind of a mini bullet train — zips your food out to your table. It’s definitely a cool concept, and I can see why people like it, but it also makes the experience feel more automated and less personal. There’s barely any interaction with the staff anymore, which makes it feel a little sterile compared to how it used to be. As for the food, it’s about what I remember — decent, affordable sushi that’s good for a quick bite but not necessarily something to rave about. The menu still has a wide variety, and prices are reasonable for what you get. Everything came out fresh and on time, and the service (what little there was) was friendly enough. Overall, Genki Sushi is still a fun, casual place for a simple sushi meal, especially if you’ve never been before and want to try the tram delivery system. But for those who remember the old days with the conveyor belt and color-coded plates, it’s just not quite the same. It’s worth a stop if you’re nearby and craving sushi, but I wouldn’t call it a must-do while visiting Hawaii.
Life R — Google review
A bit lack luster, probably wouldn't go back and would likely make a different recommendation if someone asked to go here. The food isn't bad per say but it definitely isn't as good as I expected it to be, it's probably just been hyped up too much. I expected the conveyor belt to have sushi to choose from but it was just for getting food to the table, which is fine just not as expected. They have a decent selection but I would probably choose a more hole in the wall establishment instead. Service was okay, they didn't really come by to make sure our drinks were full or anything. Overall: kind of meh.
Jasmine — Google review
What an experience! The food here was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. A meal for two people was roughly $20 for what felt like all you can eat sushi. The selection is large and the food comes out freshly made. The bullet trains that they come out on had me giggling every time something came out. It’s a good form of entertainment while you eat.

this place sucks. spicy tuna roll is completely different than the picture. barely any tuna in our roll. in the picture we show our spicy tuna roll compared to the one on the menu. no salt on the edamame too. asked for two tables for a group of six, was then led to one table where all of us crammed in. We were then told we had a second table which was the table across from us. Would of been nice to have been told that before we embarassed ourselves cramming together. The tables were across from each other instead of back to back making it impossible to talk to the group without shouting. Wanted to have a nice family dinner but we couldnt even talk as a whole. then we saw another group sat back to back so they could talk.

I will admit that the cars to bring your food are pretty cool but there's no ingredients on the menu and even after explaining to the waiters that I had allergies that I had to be mindful of they wouldn't give me a menu with ingredients. I had to wait forever for anything that couldn't be ordered from the tablet like asking for certain sauces and I don't think the sushi is that great. Yeah it's cheap but you definitely get what you pay for

This location Is big and spacious. Its very busy 20-30 minute wait. The menu has grown and so many items to choose from. The tablets make it so easy to order your favorites or try something new. It is delivered right to your table in a timely fashion. Many selections for food, drinks and dessert! The food here don't disappoint. Tasty and very delicious. ❤️🙌Our server this evening was the fabulous TIA, she provided us with our best experience ever. She was so thoughtful and kind. Her personality was the best. She took good care of us and check up on us. I even had to ask if she was the manager! Her introduction to us was what really set the tone for our evening. You can certainly tell she loves her job and is very good at it. Thank you Tia 😊 we had a good time! Still the best!

Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Kapolei is a vibrant fast-food chain originating from Hawaii, offering an array of inventive burgers, sandwiches, fries, and ice cream. Visitors rave about the excellent lunch experience with generous avocado toppings and flavorful beef patties. The ube shake and Nutella shake are highly recommended for their deliciousness. Customers also praise the fantastic burgers with grilled onions, fresh veggies, and delectable sauces as well as the friendly and helpful staff.
Burgers and fries here were sooo good. Would 100% recommend going here. They also have an ube shake which was super good as well. If you like Nutella they have a Nutella shake as well.

Fantastic burger, loved the sauces, grilled onions, fresh veggies, nice medium cooked patties. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Ordered a Well Done burger because seeing pink meat turns my stomach and when I got my food delivered via doordash it was practically raw. It looks like someone tossed it on the grill for no more than 5 seconds. Disgusting and big waste of money and time. They have forever lost a customer.

Delicious!! Food was fresh and everything was delicious. Place was clean and quick service. You gotta try Teddy’s Burgers!

Place was okay. The burger and fries were mediorcre. The restroom was okay, but could’ve had improvements. The staff forgot a part of my order. The soap dispenser had problems. Due to the rebranding process, I was expecting more green on the signs. Overall, the experience here wasn’t the best, and I am not planning on coming back soon.

Awesome Burgers and Fries hard to get much better than that so you can always throw in a hand-spun milkshakes if that's your thing.
