Salento, located in the southern part of Puglia, is a picturesque peninsula renowned for its historic coastal watchtowers, stunning beaches, and unique limestone formations. This charming region is home to small towns like Gallipoli, Otranto, Lecce, and Santa Maria di Leuca. Salento boasts some of the best beaches in Italy including Porto Cesareo, Torre Lapillo, Alimini beach, and the breathtaking Maldive del Salento.
Stunning countryside and seaside views as is all of Puglia!

Reminds me of home. Cold sea water during summer and beautiful nature. Amazing food and wines
Carmen G — Google review
Home to some of Italy's historical and most caracteristic towns and best beaches with paradisiacal golden sand and turquoise-azure waters, surrounded by amazing rocky coastline. This southern part of Puglia region is a true heaven for sea and good food lovers offering great climate at the beginning and end of Summer to enjoy an unforgetable vacation! (would avoid going there in July/August due to heat and many tourists).

I travelled along the coast on a narrow Road from Fasano to Brindisi very near to the beaches. So splendid corners of sandy beaches included in rocks arms. Impressive water colours changing from green to Deep Blue in all variety. .I stopped at a restaurante I'll never forget Principe del Mare between Savelletri and Torre Canne. A must for Sea food lovers. Cooked or raw. Reasonable prices considering we were sitting on the Sea rocks in front of the open Sea.

Salento is a geographical and historical region at the southern end of the administrative region of Apulia in southern Italy. This is the Italian peninsula, sometimes described as the "heel" of the Italian "boots". This area covers the entire administrative district of Lecce province, a large part of Brindsi province and part of Taranto.
سوریان A — Google review
Salento, Italy: This is a sub-peninsula in the southeastern part of Italy, also known as the "heel" of the Italian "boot." It is a part of the larger Apulia (Puglia) region. Salento is renowned for its beautiful coastlines, historic towns, vibrant culture, and rich culinary traditions. Key cities in Salento include Lecce, known for its Baroque architecture, and Gallipoli, with its charming old town and stunning beaches. I would advise against visiting Salento during the high season months... the prices are exaggerated and ridiculous.

Nestled within the ancient seafront ramparts of Monopoli, Locanda Don Ferrante is a charming 10-room boutique hotel that offers a luxurious and intimate experience. The former fortress has been meticulously restored to provide panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the picturesque town. With its strategic location in the heart of Monopoli's historic quarter, guests can enjoy both the tranquility of the sea and easy access to the town's attractions.
We are currently on our fourth and last night stay at Don Ferrante in Monopoli, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome at reception to the kind gentlemen who transported us from the parking area to our room, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The start to our days was our breakfast at the Don Ferrante restaurant - which was also a wonderful experience. The accommodations were fabulous — spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Our room, located just a short distance from the main building, was easy to find and offered a perfect blend of privacy and convenience. The location of Don Ferrante couldn’t have been better. It was within easy walking distance of the lively piazzas, vibrant nightlife, and excellent restaurants. It also served as an ideal home base for day trips to explore the surrounding areas. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay and would highly recommend Don Ferrante to anyone visiting Monopoli.

This review only applies to the bar! We had a drink here before our dinner, a rooftop bar with beautiful sea view. To our surprise we were almost alone up there, considering it’s amazing view and fair prices I’d say it’s highly recommended to visit this rooftop for a nice and quiet drink or two :)
John A — Google review
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for four nights, and it was truly the best experience we’ve had so far in Italy. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The view from the viewpoint is absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, the quality of the food was outstanding, and every meal was worth its price. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. From the reception to the restaurant team, everyone was exceptionally kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We travel often, and this is by far the most romantic hotel we’ve ever stayed in, one of our best experiences yet. If you’re in the area, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
Louise P — Google review
It's a boutique hotel. So, no lobby, the reception is smaller than a room, the swimming pool is a big bath tub and the sunbathing area is for four people max. The breakfast is of a 3 star hotel: one type of ham and cheese, artificial juices, small variety of bread, etc. The best part are the rooms. They are nice. We had one over the street. You have to be careful because the door is on the street so you have to check out if a car is coming. They have a special agreement for the hotel guests, with a beach 15min drive, but the price is the regular price but in the first line. €400 it's too much for this hotel.
Joaquin G — Google review
I stopped by for a cocktail on the rooftop. Stylish, yet cozy cushion seating areas, as well. Beautiful view of the water without the crowds. Was recommended the bergamotta spritz by a lovely gentleman, which was refreshing in the heat. He served a side of olives and taralli complimentary. Would definitely come again.
Lala Y — Google review
We stayed at Don Ferrante for 6 days and it was a fantastic experience in every way. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a stunning view of the sea. The rooftop and pool provided an amazing space to relax that was perfect for our vacation. The entire staff was wonderful, they helpfully accommodated every one of my family's requests. Renzo, Gaetano, Gaetano, Brenda, Alessandro, Valentina, Alessio, Francesca, Maria and the entire staff at Don Ferrante did an amazing job and made us immediately feel at home. Also the food at the restaurant was amazing. 10/10 hotel.
Frank A — Google review
We had a wonderful meal, overlooking the sea. The service, kindness and attention of the waiters were just excellent. Grazie 1000
Ralf S — Google review
My mum and I spent three nights staying at Locanda Don Ferrante in the Town House and we had the best time. Everyone was so friendly from the transport drivers to the front desk and made our stay really lovely. The views are phenomenal and I would absolutely recommend having dinner at the restaurant- we went twice because we loved it (the best meal we had in Puglia). From a practical standpoint was also really worth staying here due to the logistical difficulties of parking in Monopoli- the wonderful team would park our car for us and drive us through the old town by golf cart to get the car whenever we needed it. Thank you so much.

Castel del Monte is a remarkable 13th-century castle known for its unique octagonal shape and symbolic architectural design. It seamlessly blends influences from various cultures, featuring an octagonal base with eight towers and trapezoidal rooms. The castle's courtyard also boasts an eight-sided layout, adding to its mystique. Visitors can explore the castle's intriguing history through guided tours and even pick up souvenirs at the gift shop.
A gorgeous castle! Castel del Monte is super unique and just stunning to see and visit! The castle has been built with various materials, of which sadly enough only few can be seen. The views that you can experience are amazing. Sadly you now have to pay for parking 5€ for a car and if you want to take the bus up to the castle this is another 2€ per person…
Bob C — Google review
The castle itself is very impressive, but everything around it simply ruins the experience. Parking is paid, as is the shuttle. There's a con man standing by the free restroom trying to take money for admission. After parking and the shuttle, there's a ticket to the castle itself, which costs 10 euros for a tour inside the castle, which is actually quite small; it takes no more than 15 minutes to explore.
George V — Google review
Great sight, small but beautiful! It is possible to add a hike to the visit. We got tickets and audio guide on sight. There are friendly stray dogs around the castle, we were not bothered by them.
Lea C — Google review
Amazing Swabian castle dating back to about 1290! It is surrounded by a forest and you only need a few hours to see everything. Bring some good hiking shoes, unless you are able to pay for parking close to the castle. We went during the week and it was not very busy. There are a few great videos inside the castle, which stays amazingly cool in the summer heat!!
Keith O — Google review
We went in early November so it wasn’t too crowded. We parked in the nearby private lot for €5 but I think if you park in the lot ~2km away it’s free. The museum was great. Text panels in Italian and English and braille. Video and tactile exhibits. Audio guide in multiple languages available at an extra cost. Bathrooms on the premises. A restaurant nearby as well. Can be seen in its entirety in under an hour.
Rachel D — Google review
Super interesting octagonal castle from the 1240s built by Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, Hohenstaufen of Swabia and King of Sicily. Example of Medieval architecture located on a hill some kilometers away from Andria overseeing a large plain. Castel del Monte is surely one of Apulia’s symbols: a medieval fortress erected in the 13th century on the western Murge plateau on the outskirts of the beautiful town Andria, along the Adriatic coast of southern Italy. Built on a hill 540 metres above sea level, the fortress of Castel del Monte in Andria is considered a brilliant example of medieval architecture, reflecting the humanistic culture and vast education of its founder, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Sicily. The octagonal castle is surrounded by an octagonal tower at each corner. Mysterious and an almost inhumanly exact geometric shape, some theories claim that the octagon represented the union of the circle and the square. The octagonal layout gives Castel del Monte the configuration of an elegant stone crown, and is present in all the castle's rooms. There are eight rooms on the ground floor, and eight on the first floor. There are eight towers surrounding the building, all with an octagonal layout and each arranged on one of its eight corners. This obsessive recurrence of the number eight makes the fortress of Castel del Monte an esoteric place that has fascinated the best scholars for centuries. But the fortress has more mysteries for you to slowly discover during your visit. The building is accessed through the entrance portal, a large Arab-style arch with a Greco-Roman tympanum and Gothic double-arched windows. The light colour of the limestone and white marble façades also characterises the interior, now stripped of the decorations that once adorned it. The light illuminating the ground floor comes from eight single-arched windows located on each of the eight sides of the floor plan. The same number of windows can be found on the upper floor, with one small difference: seven windows are double arched, while only one, that facing Andria, is triple arched. You really cannot miss to visit it if you are in Apulia. #castle #fortress #apulia #italy #monument

Compared to other castles in Europe, this is rather lackluster and unimpressive. Unless you have nothing planned near Bari, I would skip a visit.

Take the local guide Maria Zingaro! She will guide you through the importance of this monument. What was ment to be and it's very important history for mankind, not only Italian. The details I leave for local guide

Hotel Relais La Sommità is an upscale boutique hotel housed in a large house with local architectural style at the top of a whitewashed town. The hotel offers airy accommodations, a fine-dining restaurant named Cielo, a spa, and a bar. Guests can enjoy regionally inspired cuisine with a creative twist at the restaurant, which offers various tasting menus and an à la carte selection.
I booked this stay through AmEx Fine Hotels. I don’t have much experience with 5-star hotels, so this was even more special for me.. what a treat that made for a great memory I will cherish forever.. Pros: * The staff was friendly and accommodating, from the young man who picked me up from parking, to the concierges, to housekeeping, to the server at dinner, Chiara. What I appreciated most sincerely was that even though everyone spoke English, they all were patient with me when I tried to practice my Italian. That meant a lot to me. * Beautiful, spacious room and breathtaking view from the windows (I booked the deluxe). Clean, comfortable. Lovely quality of sheets, furniture, fixtures. Good smells. It’s rare I want to stay in a hotel room rather than explore the city- but La Sommità made me feel that way. There was a small library of books and interesting art to look at. * Jets in the shower were amazing. * Sunny terrace to relax and admire the view * Really good Michelin-guide restaurant (Cielo) is attached to the hotel. My family is Pugliese and I’ve been to Italy many times but hadn’t been to anything like a Michelin-star restaurant here before. The experience (and it truly was an “experience”) did not disappoint. The manager introduced me to all 3 chefs, who greeted me with genuine kindness. I ordered 4 courses but I believe they brought out 6! I felt spoiled as I had the pleasure of having the restaurant to myself. (Needless to say, breakfast was also delicious) Suggestions: * Bring strong earplugs! Especially if dealing with jet lag. It was unfortunate such a nice hotel was so loud (at least from my room) at 7am. You expect peace and quiet at these kinds of costs..but..there was so much conversation I thought surely I was missing breakfast when I was woken up- no, as it was 7:07am. Doors slamming.. The earplugs I had unfortunately only helped slightly. I was woken up before 8am on the 2nd morning of my stay as well. * I’d never before seen a jacuzzi that was cold. It would be great if it was warm for l’autunno. Ma lo capisco che non si può aver tutto.. just my suggestion.

Our room had no window, which was a bit off-putting, but otherwise this is a wonderful property, in the middle of Ostuni and close to everything. Very welcoming staff, flawless pick up from the car park, and great tips on what to do and where to eat. Given that we arrived in heavy rain, the warm greeting was particularly welcome.

Very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff . The rooms and facilities are very nice . Lots of private little area , verandas to relax and read a book. Very nice breakfast and upscale restaurant for dinner. Very quiet and relaxing place. Everything is very close and walking distance.

This review is for the restaurant, private event area. Very nice, upscale restaurant. The dishes were very well presented and delicious. The staff was very professional. We especially appreciate them sending a tuk-tuk to pick us and and then drop us off after the dinner.

We can't say enough about how wonderful Hotel Relais La Sommita was. It was as beautiful as can be and the service was top notch in every possible way. We arrived on bicycle and I had a medical incident within minutes of arriving as I cut my head and needed the ER for a few stitches and the whole staff from the manager to the housekeepers to the drivers snapped into action and took such wonderful care of me. Thank you for making me feel so cared for and for your gorgeous hotel. We will be back for sure!
Mica D — Google review
AAA highly recommend! From staff to room to atmosphere! All on point! Would stay again.
Rich D — Google review
La Sommita, excellent location, in such a busy place this place was super quiet, clean, staff was friendly. We ate one meal with the main restaurant, a wine pairing meal. Everything was delicious, a true decadence. They are on their way to be a Michelin star place indeed.
Eileen S — Google review
Beautiful hotel! Definitely recommend coming here! The service was fantastic, they drove us from the parking to the top of Ostuni where the hotel is situated. Magnificent view and the hotel itself is beautiful- the interior and the exterior with the garden and pool, even nicer than the photos. The room was spacious, modern and clean. And the breakfast is one of the best I've had- it's the same kitchen as the Michelin star restaurant Ciele so that says something. Again, highly recommend the hotel!

Masseria Salinola is a charming hotel located in a 17th-century farmhouse on an olive oil farm near Ostuni. The property offers airy rooms and apartments with modern amenities, two restaurants serving farm-produced goods, and a beautiful outdoor pool. Guests can also enjoy activities such as spa tub relaxation, seasonal outdoor swimming, and even babysitting services if needed.
This place is all about the details... We felt so welcomed by the staff and the fireplaces being lit on in our room and in the dining area. I was very impressed by so many things in this place, it felt truly special. We were staying with two small kids and it felt like a perfect place for them too. They loved the outdoors playground and seeing the animals. And even though the dinner starts at 7:30pm, the staff was happy to cook for our kids at 6pm. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. ❤️
Aurelija A — Google review
My family and I have just returned from a wonderful five-night stay at the hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of peace and tranquility. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who shared the charming history of the hotel, which has been lovingly passed down through generations of his family. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring soft white and cream stone walls that exude elegance and comfort. It’s clear that the owner places great emphasis on making guests feel at home—he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The pool area is serene and inviting, the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the calm surroundings. The hotel’s restaurant is full of character, with the option to dine al fresco—which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was a highlight, made with fresh eggs from their own hens, and homegrown olive oil. Evening meals were equally delicious, and the attentive staff were always eager to make sure everything was perfect. Just a short drive away is the vibrant town of Ostuni, which has a lovely cosmopolitan charm. While there, something very special happened—my daughter’s partner proposed to her, and she said yes! We will absolutely be returning to this peaceful haven. A heartfelt thank you to the owners and staff for making our holiday truly unforgettable.

Absolutely the finest service, food and ambiance. We loved our stay here and clearly felt the owner’s passion for detail and hospitality. Impeccably clean and beautiful. You will not be disappointed. Nestled just outside the enchanting town of Locorotondo, Leonardo Trulli Resort offers a serene escape that perfectly blends relaxation and indulgence. This charming hotel features cozy rooms and suites, complemented by a refreshing saltwater pool where guests can unwind. The resort's inviting bar and restaurant serve up delectable dishes inspired by the rich culinary heritage of the Salento region, renowned for its bountiful produce and exquisite wines—don't miss out on tasting the local Negroamaro!
Our stay at Leonardo Trulli was incredible. As part of our honeymoon, we ventured to Puglia and WOW ... what a surprise experienced. We didn't know what to expect but we had the most amazing time at this resort. From our arrival to our departure, the entire team treated us like family. Alessia was so kind and helpful with everything we needed (including going out of her way to help us with our broken rental car!). We took part in the cooking class and it was a great experience ... although we preferred eating the chef's cooking instead of ours. :) Every meal we had (and we had breakfast, lunch, and multiple dinners) was better than the last, which I didn't think was possible. Leone was the kindest person we have ever met and I will remember him and his amazing wine recommendations always. The property itself was one of the best I've seen. The pool was beautiful, the rooms were large, beds comfortable and very clean. We ventured into town via bike, which was great, but we enjoyed being at the resort even more! This was such a magical place and we will absolutely be back.

Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in my life. My husband and I recently stayed for a few nights at Leonardo Trulli resort and were amazed by the attention to detail at every moment. The staff were attentive and helpful at all times and we enjoyed our chats with Luciano and Simone in between service. What a wonderful team! We enjoyed a cooking class on our first night (we are actually recreating that meal right now as I type this review), enjoyed a bike ride through the country on our second day, and on our final morning we had a lovely yoga class on-site. I can’t wait to come back again with friends and family soon!

My husband and I stayed here for the second year. We planned our holiday around staying here again. It is a haven of peace and relaxation surrounded by the smell of roses and jasmine. The pool is a warm magnesium pool that enhances the feeling of relaxation. The hotel is family run and that gives the feeling of being welcome guests in someone’s beautiful home. We will come back next year.
Alison F — Google review
This place is so beautiful and a great place to get-away. You don’t even need to leave the resort. Everything was nice the rooms, the pasta class, the pool was incredible. Please be sure to communicate with them when you have to move your car if driving because we got locked behind the gate in the morning when we had to leave and couldn’t get in contact with anyone for an hour so that was unfortunate but everything else was really great.
Katera S — Google review
What a memorable experience!  A spectacular, idyllic setting with very friendly, helpful staff and amazing food.  We stayed for five nights while cycling in the area.  We especially enjoyed the secluded garden around our trulli.  Among other things, it provided private, secure bike storage right outside our door, and an outdoor shower to hang our cycling clothes, knowing they'd be dry in the morning, without other guests having to see our laundry.  We dream of returning!
Margo F — Google review
Our favorite stay on our two week Italian Honeymoon trip! The staff was so friendly, warm, and accommodating from the moment we arrived and the room and property grounds were instantly breathtaking and relaxing. From welcome drinks and snacks, to a surprise bruschetta by the pool, to waking up our first morning to a freshly cut dozen pink roses on our patio, every part of our stay was so intentional! We stayed for dinner our first night on property after lounging by the magnesium pool and enjoyed our time greatly! The chef is a true expert of his craft and each dish was thoughtful and delicious. Everyone working there is lovely to be around and chat with! One morning I took an outdoor guided yoga session under the trees and that afternoon after more pool time, we enjoyed a short (and slightly hilly) bike ride to nearby Locorotondo. The location is in a perfect spot to visit nearby towns (we did a cooking class one afternoon in Ostuni and lunch and winery visit in Alberobello) and quiet and peaceful while being full of character with intentional touches. If you’re coming to the area, put Leonardo Trulli Resorts on the top of your list for where to stay! Thank you Rosalba and team for making our stay a perfect one!
Amy L — Google review
The ideal place to stay for a relaxing holiday with excellent food. The staff epitomise Puglian hospitality at its finest. Pictures don't do it justice. The food was excellent, the staff were amazing and the room was perfect. Would highly recommend. They had a jazz night by a trulli which was brilliant. This is a peaceful resort, but was still a quick 20 min €30 taxi to Alberobello. Then we got the train to Locorotondo and walked back to the resort from there, which took about 30 mins to walk.

This was our first stay at the splendid Leonardo Trulli Resort and Spa. My mom who lives in this magical town gifted my husband and I an unforgettable 6 night stay at this beautifully appointed resort/spa to celebrate the traditional ferragosto holiday and San Rocco, the patriot Saint of the town together. We were completely mesmerized by its elegance, serenity and peaceful ambiance. Rosalba, the owner is the epitome of a true hostess and professional, introducing and welcoming herself to us with her exuberant personality and effervescent smile. Her passion and dedication to each guest is evident as she is physically present each day, greeting all her resort guests with that personal touch of a warm smile and genuinity. Her Team led by the always smiling and devoted Alessia in charge of operations was diligently on point each day, always with a cheerful ‘buon giorno’ and always making certain to inquire if there was anything we needed along with informing us of special events taking place that day. Her charisma and devotion in what she does was seen throughout our stay as she promptly organized bicycle rides, massages and made the appropriate suggestions based on our requests. Each morning awaking to a restful sleep amidst the calmness of the gardens and landscape was ethereal and scenic. It was a true feeling of tranquility in both mind and body but also nature. The Trulli and ‘Masseria’ dwellings which we were fortunate to experience are each unique and exquisitely appointed with delicate furnishings, luxurious beds and top quality sheets, towels and toiletries all locally sourced by the masterful eye and expertise of Rosalba. The grounds are meticulously maintained by local and experienced experts proudly looking after the property. However, the pool is the crowning jewel in this landscape, well created and inviting with its warm water and soft jets allowing for a perfect and complete day of pure bliss! Rosalba’s rigor in maintaining the roots of her heritage grows all the produce served, from the vegetables to the abundant fruit orchards all presented and offered at the resort’s all-day restaurant beginning with its delicious buffet breakfast. Francesco, the Chef proudly prepares traditional dishes of the region using all that is grown in the 0km gardens. His expertise is seen in the dishes he offers from the local honey to the homemade ricotta to the delicious freshly baked breads and focaccia presented daily. The young, eager waitstaff Team of Pierluigi, Michele, Matteo et all were prompt to ensure our breakfast and morning experience began well The buffet is well appointed offering freshly squeezed juices, delicious baked goods and savoury products satisfying all palates but keeping with tradition and freshness! Our stay couldnt have been more memorable thanks to the charismatic Rosalba and her Team. This spectacular jewel in Locorotondo is a must for total relax and recharge. No stone has been left unturned and Rosalba’s vision in creating and respecting the architecture is evident in every corner. She has integrated this gem of a property with great passion and pride always keeping within the integrity and tradition of her heritage. Thank you Rosalba for an incredible stay and your heartfelt hospitality. We cannot wait to visit again very soon! Rosina and Piero

Masseria Montenapoleone is a charming farmstay nestled in the heart of Puglia, surrounded by ancient olive groves and offering stunning sea views. The property dates back to 1600 and boasts a rustic yet elegant decor that perfectly blends with its historical features. It serves as an ideal retreat for those looking to relax in the tranquility of the countryside while being within easy reach of beautiful cities like Martina Franca and Bari, as well as the beaches of Salento.
We had an amazing dinner and also tried the cooking class here. The food was incredible, the best steak we have ever eaten. The cooking class was also incredible, led by the owner himself, he created an engaging and fun atmosphere. Would definitely come again and can’t wait to try out their home grown olive oil.

A truly fantastic and magical place. The attention to detail can be admired throughout the resort. Unfortunately, the service and friendliness of the staff does not do this place justice. The food and the breakfast buffet do not reflect the price level either. It's a shame, because this special place deserves great service and friendly staff

For the first time, we had dinner right in the middle of the vineyards – and it was a wonderful experience. Both the food and the house wines were surprisingly good. While enjoying your meal, you also get to watch the sunset, which makes it even more special. I truly recommend everyone to try this at least once. The prices are fair, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and fast.

Beautiful property. Rooms were rustic and charming. So many activities, and the staff was so attentive. Location could be tough if you don’t have a car and taxis are quite expensive. We did a fantastic cooking class with Davide and La Zia, the food was beyond delicious. You can tell they used the highest quality of each ingredient. The olive oil they make is exquisite. We loved our time at this lovely picture perfect Masseria!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Stay at Masseria Montenapoleone Masseria Montenapoleone is a slice of Apulian paradise — rustic yet refined, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and the soft hum of nature. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with artistic touches, and mornings begin with the scent of herbs and an incredible farm-fresh breakfast with some cats lazingly roaming around. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making every moment feel personal and relaxed. You’ll definitely need a car to explore the nearby towns and beaches, but the peaceful seclusion here is part of its magic. A place that feels real, rooted, and unforgettable. We can't wait to return. Cinzia & Steven (Aug 2025)🌿💛

The food is HORRIBLE at La Falegnameria. The food lacked flavor and creativity. The best part of the meal was the bread and house wine. Stop there. Don’t waste a euro more on the less than mediocre food and service. So disappointed. Would never return.

This Hotel is one of the worse Hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff rude and if you book the €150 a head dinner in the vineyard and if the weather is bad (windy storm) and are unable to attend it they will not refund. They take your money . One of the restaurant staff was so rude to me in the main restaurant I left in tears even though I was a Hotel guest. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly it took 3 different people to fix it, the coffee machine didn’t work properly. I was unable to charge IPads or Iphones when mine did not work - they had no extra cables for Hotel guests to use. I don’t even rate this 1 star ⭐️ don’t waste your money on a Hotel that is only trying to look good on Instagram. I fortunately moved and stayed at Masseria Torre Coccaro - highly recommend this stunning Hotel. It is 5 Star. It has a fabulous beach club Coccaro Beach Club with incredible seafood and wines. I can’t fault Masseria Torre Coccaro - the staff are very welcoming, professional and caring. I cannot wait to go back and stay. It’s definitely 5 stars.

My wife and I made this one of our first two night stops on our 20th anniversary excursion. This place is magical. Hundreds of years of growth, development and love has created a living history lesson on old world olive groves, wheat, poultry, artichokes etc. the place is creatively designed and precious. We loved every detail around the living farm, rooms, property, restaurant, etc. we did the pasta, wine and olive oil classes. They were amazing! Everyone was so friendly. Borgo Egnazia is a luxurious retreat located near the seaside village of Savelletri. The property offers elegant accommodations with sea views, upscale dining options, a bar, a lavish spa, and four pools. Despite being constructed in 2010, the meticulously designed rooms, suites, and villas exude an ancient charm while incorporating modern amenities. The creamy stone exterior complements the surrounding natural beauty of bright blue skies and vibrant bougainvillea.

We did not stay at the hotel, but we went for dinner and had drinks before our dinner reservation. Probably the sickest hotel I’ve ever seen you actually have to use Google maps to find your way to the restaurant and back to lobby etc. there is so many cool nooks to take photos in. I wish we had more time and wish we had time to go back. Drinks at the bar were incredible obviously pricier than most places in the region, but the amount of stuff they give you with the drinks was top level.

The best place on earth. Our 4th trip. Such attention to detail. Being English we like a kettle and milk. They remember each time we come. Always get our favourite room. Spa is heaven. My husband happily pays for my daughter and me to come as we are happy for the rest of the year.
Mole S — Google review
Borgo Egnazia has always been on my bucket list, and visually, it didn’t disappoint. The property is stunning — breathtaking architecture, immaculate grounds, and spectacular pools. The resort is very large, with a carefully staged “Vegas meets Disney” atmosphere designed for an international (especially North American) clientele who prefer a polished, self-contained resort experience. It’s impressive, but the ambiance feels very commercial, which takes away from the authenticity. The service is excellent — warm, attentive, and consistent. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping is exceptional. The location is remote, with no nearby shops or restaurants, though it’s well positioned for day trips to Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Alberobello, Matera, and Ostuni. Importantly, the resort is not directly on the water — guests need to take a shuttle or drive about 10 minutes to reach the beach. The beach itself is pretty but rocky, not ideal for swimming, though the service there was very good. The food was the single biggest disappointment. Breakfast was excellent — fresh ingredients, great service, beautifully presented. But lunch and dinner felt overly commercial, with complicated menus and dishes that lacked authentic Italian flavor. Pricing was also out of step with the experience — €60 for a chicken dish and €35 for a single glass of local wine simply didn’t make sense for what was served. The activities were extremely limited, especially during a quieter season, and felt like an afterthought rather than part of a true 5-star experience. Some of the infrastructure is showing its age: the bathroom door, shower drain, and Wi-Fi were functional but clearly dated. ⭐ Service: 5 stars 🍽 Food: 3 stars (the missing star) 🌿 Ambiance: 4 stars (very commercial) 🎯 Activities: 1 star 💰 Overall: 3/5 — pricing does not match the experience Borgo Egnazia is a visually stunning property, best suited for families who want to stay on site. For couples, three nights is ideal unless golf or spa are the focus. With a more authentic culinary offering, fairer pricing, and better activity options, it could live up to its world-class reputation.

Borgo Egnazia is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The Saturday night festival was truly something special—such a magical evening that my family and I will never forget. The staff here are beyond amazing. A huge shoutout to Francesco—he was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available to answer questions and help us with restaurant reservations and vehicle arrangements. He really made things seamless for us. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are absolutely stunning, and the entire property has this peaceful, luxurious vibe that’s hard to describe. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you will not regret it. Everything about Borgo Egnazia deserves 5 stars and more!

What a luxury experience it was at Borgo Egnazia. Pure bliss, from checkin to checkout everything was so warm, welcoming and food was delicious. Staff and rooms always on point and clean your room. Love overall vibe of property.
Maulik P — Google review
Nowhere Else is the simple caption used by Borgo Egnazia and this is a precise summing up. A non pretentious description of what is a magical place, a stone village. You would assume it had been there for centuries, the details, the simplistic spacious and nostalgic atmosphere created by visionaries and geniuses. Every space, every architectural detail pays homage to its humble Puglian roots yet you are immersed in the kind of luxury that satisfies the soul. Puglia is a beautiful rich landscape and must be seen to be believed, the sun, the sea, the history, the humility of its people who have had a fragile existence, even in recent times with ecological and economic consequences from the olive tree disease. I am very grateful to have experienced such a place and this hotel has managed to capture every essence of it. With special thanks to Sabina

Patria Palace Hotel - Ho Hotels Collection is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Lecce, housed in an 18th-century aristocratic mansion. The hotel features original frescoes, fountains, and beamed ceilings, showcasing its rich history. With elegant art deco rooms and modern amenities, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay while being just steps away from the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Roman amphitheatre.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was fantastic and the rooftop was a great spot for a drink. Given the heat in July, the free transportation to the beach was awesome. Be sure to book early. The fact that the beach reserved chairs for guests was great. The only complaint is I would stay on floor 1 or 2. The air conditioning on the 3rd floor was not as good.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Patria Palace. The hotel has all the charm of a boutique property, with comfortable rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast is an absolute highlight — not only for the quality and variety of the food, but also for the unforgettable ambiance, accompanied each morning by a live harp performance. The rooftop bar offers a great setting to unwind, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Every member of the team welcomed us with warmth and genuine smiles, making us feel at home from the very first moment. A perfect stay in the heart of Lecce — we’ll definitely be back.

This hotel was wonderful. From the moment you walk through the doors you are made to feel at home. In our case by Emmanuela settled us in. Every member of staff gave superb, friendly, smiling service. Even the best hotels in Asia would struggle to match this. If I could give six stars to the team I would. The hotel itself is in a perfect central location and you get the fun of driving through the restricted ZTL if you arrive by car. Breakfast was generous with all the options you would expect from a high class hotel. Music was played by a real musician on harp or violin during breakfast which was a lovely touch. The rooftop bar was a delight but you need to book. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and if we get a chance we will return.

A fantastic hotel, where everyone looks after you from the moment you arrive to your departure. Breakfast is a lovely selection too. An exceptional hotel, would love to stay here again and would recommend for a little bit of luxury in the centre of Lecce. Thank you all so much for a fabulous stay.

A Magical Stay in Lecce – Hotel Patria is a Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I spent four unforgettable nights at Hotel Patria in Lecce, and everything about the experience was simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive — truly going above and beyond to make me feel at home. The breakfast was an absolute highlight: beautifully presented and abundant, with a wide selection of delicious teas, fresh fruits, breads, and countless other treats — all accompanied by live harp or violin music, played softly in the background by talented students from the local classical music conservatory. It was a feast for the senses. The hotel’s beach club, Mora Mora, is also lovely. On calm days, the water is crystal clear, and the atmosphere is peaceful and refined — perfect for relaxing by the sea. Don’t miss the rooftop restaurant, which offers not only great food but also a charming view of one of Lecce’s stunning Baroque churches. Dining with that backdrop was a truly special experience. I absolutely recommend Hotel Patria to anyone visiting Puglia — it’s the perfect combination of elegance, comfort, and authentic local charm. Giovanna

Never again. Without a doubt not a 5 star hotel. Very disappointed in the entire experience- be aware that the room category you book and pay for is merely a representation and not at all what you will get! My room did not have functional air conditioning, the refrigerator did not work- it took a long time to be serviced for anything. And there is a complete lack of customer service- they say one thing and do the minimum. Stay somewhere else’s for the money

Hotel La Peschiera is a meticulously restored ancient fishing reserve that has been transformed into one of the most exclusive and refined hotels in Puglia. Located along the Monopoli coastline, this dreamy beachside property offers polished rooms and suites with terraces overlooking the hypnotic deep-blue sea. The simple color palette of whites and beiges enhances the serene atmosphere, allowing guests to live and breathe the Adriatic.
Stunning, luxurious, exclusive… an amazing stay in a fabulous setting serviced by a great crew. Yes, not everything is always perfect as in an Asian 5 star, but the luxury feeling is overwhelming, with a special touch with the transport by Maserati car…

What looks like a luxury escape online is, in reality, a run-down hotel with filthy pools, black mold, and dead bugs on the blinds. The “5-star” service? More like zero-star: staff were untrained, disinterested, and couldn’t care less. For the same price, you could be lounging in a stunning water villa in the Maldives or French Polynesia. Instead, we got grime, decay, and attitude. Avoid.

Beautiful hotel. Quiet, great space. Lovely pools, decent beach, rooms right on the sea which is wonderful to wake up to. Restaurant is expensive but great, a real 5 star experience. This hotel makes a great base from which to explore the area, but also a great destination resort itself if you want something quiet, beautiful and relaxing. Had a fantastic time, would be more than happy to return.

La Peschiera is a special place and we were sad to leave. We stayed there a few days ago with our young daughter. From the moment we arrived the staff were charming and the welcome warm and professional. We arrived late at night and the person on the desk came into the car park to help us into the hotel. The location is stunning, right in the sea, and the inner courtyard an oasis of calm. We swam every day in the heated pool. The food, breakfasts, lunches and ice creams were delicious. The hotel is beautifully simple and carefully maintained. But mainly it was the courteous and good humoured staff who made our stay such a pleasure, even a few days before the hotel closed for the winter. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.
Sadie C — Google review
DO NOT STAY HERE! For the outrageous price of over 1500€ per night, the so-called 5* luxury hotel “La Peschiera” falls drastically short of the standards one would expect from this category and price point. Instead, here’s what you can actually expect: - Filthy pools with peeling paint, black mould and dead insects floating in the water - Dead bugs stuck to the curtains in your room and a dirty A/C - Disorganised and poorly trained staff, with NO visible presence of upper management on-site - A shocking lack of attention to small details, such as drying off the dangerously slippery patio after rain (which also happens to be the only access to the rooms), not replacing wet cushions, or even mentioning of à la carte breakfast options after several days! This hotel is a complete rip-off and does not even come close to the quality of other SLH properties! Please save your money and avoid disappointment.

A gorgeous hotel set right on the water — La Peschiera offers unbeatable sea views and the soothing sound of waves just steps from your room.

La Peschiera is an oasis of relax and quiet luxury. It is elegant and peaceful. The restaurant and the service are both top quality. The limited number of rooms (13) make it for an extremely relaxing experience. The swimming pools and the annexed private beach are never crowded. The rooms face the sea and each has a private access to the sea. Highly highly recommended. Came back the year after. Service and quality are still at the usual stellar level. If possible, even more quiet and relaxed setting.

Stopped here for a short break. Tiramisu was delicious. I would’ve love to taste each cake the all look so amazing. The view outside is beautiful but we sat inside cause it was cold. (February) Ana manages the bar and she provided excellent service. Yum!

Not your typical bar/coffee shop. Super cute interesting decorations. Cappucino was cold, croissant was mediocre and over done. Service was great once waiter figured out we were there.

It's a lovely charming place with a sunny terrace. The ristreto was good. The cheese cake was tasty, but it was a very small piece and didn’t look good. Prices are reasonable. All in all , recommended.
Shlomi S — Google review
Great atmosphere when you can sit outside, not really anywhere to comfortably sit inside downstairs. Upstairs there are two rooms but unfortunately they are utterly charmless. When the owner is in a good mood she can be very welcoming and fun, try not to get her on a bad day! I love the plain cheese cake, in general a great place for a sweet breakfast with amazing views over the Itria valley (valle d’Itria). Tends to get crowded in the later morning when the tourists and expats get out of their beds.

The food is very great and not expensive at all. Plus you have an amazing view I was very happy to find this place for a break during my bike tour. Only very small thing, thé Spritz are not in the typical wine glasses

First rate bakery, offering pastries, gorgeous, custom-made cakes. And a full bar. Lovely views over the town. Recognized by the New York Times in 2013.

Cool little place with a breathtaking view over the salentinian countryside. After a nice supper, it's great to have dessert with a cup of espresso. All the cakes are heavenly and home made. It's a family run place, and it's obvious they have a loved reputation in town, as most locals come by and just say hi.

Castello di Ugento Hotel is a luxurious accommodation set in a former 17th-century castle located in the serene town of Ugento, just 15 minutes away from the beautiful white sandy beaches of Salento. The meticulously furnished hotel offers nine stylish rooms adorned with Italian elegance, mid-century furnishings, and vibrant art pieces. Guests can enjoy the chic restaurant housed within the castle's historic walls and even take part in cooking classes.
Review of Our Magical Wedding at Castello di Ugento I can only describe our wedding experience at Castello di Ugento in one word: magical. From start to finish, every moment was simply unforgettable. Although we planned our wedding in just three months, the process felt seamless, and that is entirely thanks to Roby. She played a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life with her calm demeanour and unwavering support. Roby guided us through every step of the planning process, ensuring all legal documentation was handled smoothly. Her extensive knowledge and experience with various vendors were invaluable, and she was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to introduce new vendors to the mix. The castle itself is breathtaking. Its tasteful renovations reflect sophistication and beauty, creating the perfect backdrop for our special day. From the elegant rooms to the stunning gardens, the venue exceeded our expectations. The staff at Castello were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and attentive. They truly made us feel at home and took care of us throughout the entire celebration. Special thanks to Isabella, Jos, and Chef Fernando, who were instrumental in making our day unforgettable. Speaking of unforgettable, the food was simply incredible—one of the best meals I have ever experienced. Even our wedding guests rave about it to this day! The team at Castello expertly accommodated various dietary requirements, ensuring everyone enjoyed a delightful dining experience. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Castello for their dedication and exceptional service. They made our wedding a day to cherish forever, leaving us with memories we will hold dear for a lifetime. We had the most incredible time ever! Thank you, Castello di Ugento, for making our wedding so special!

A deeply disappointing experience. This place may look impressive from the outside, but don’t be fooled — the reality is far from the image they try to project. The management lacks professionalism and basic consideration for people. The staff is unreliable, and the way things are handled is far below what one should expect from a hotel that claims to be of high standard. There are many other beautiful places in Puglia that truly care about their guests and deliver the level of service and attention they promise. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you’re expecting quality, integrity, and a trustworthy experience.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Castello di Ugento! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and attention to every detail. The castle itself is stunning — full of history, charm, and breathtaking views of Puglia. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the gardens and common areas are perfect for relaxing. The dining experiences were exceptional, from the carefully prepared seasonal menus to the thoughtful presentation and flavors. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay special, helping us explore the region, arranging activities, and always with a smile. If you’re looking for a luxurious, authentic, and magical stay in Puglia, Castello di Ugento is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Location: The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town of Ugento, making it ideal for exploring the city and its surroundings. Service: The service was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Food & Drinks: We had dinner at the hotel and the food was outstanding. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice and quality. Rooms: The rooms are top-notch and truly unique. Ours was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Facilities: The garden is a wonderful place to relax. A special highlight are the paintings on the ceilings—staff are happy to guide you through them and explain their history. Very impressive. Summary: A truly wonderful hotel with exceptional staff who genuinely care for their guests. Grazie mille!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Castello in Ugento for a friend's wedding, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. This hotel is truly unique, combining the charm of a historic castle with the comforts of modern luxury. From the moment you arrive, the incredibly welcoming staff makes you feel right at home. Their warmth and attentiveness truly enhance the stay, ensuring that every guest feels like part of the family. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and designed with comfort in mind. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, providing a perfect night's sleep after a day of exploring. The bathrooms are equally impressive, with a generously sized shower that easily accommodates two people, adding a touch of indulgence to the stay. Thoughtful amenities like complimentary water, juice, and coffee are available, which is a lovely touch when you need a quick refreshment. There's also plenty of space to store your clothes, making longer stays more convenient. One of the highlights of Castello Hotel is the on-site restaurant, located within the castle itself. It's not only convenient but offers the perfect opportunity for a quick bite before heading out to explore the beautiful city of Ugento. The combination of location and culinary quality truly elevates the overall experience. Castello Hotel is an exceptional place to stay, with a unique blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and a staff that goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with a personal touch, this is the place to be.

I had made a booking and paid a deposit of almost €1,000. After canceling well in advance, I’ve now been waiting more than two months for the promised refund. Despite several polite emails and even a certified legal notice (PEC), there has been no real response – only vague excuses. This is not what you expect from a so-called five-star hotel. Forcing guests to involve lawyers just to get their own money back is unacceptable. Strongly advise against booking here.

We loved our stay at the Castello di Ugento. They had the most comfortable beds of all the places to stay during our road trip around Puglia, and an absolutely delicious breakfast. I found the staff willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a 10+. Be ready to relax and/or bring your own fun. The town of Ugento is very charming and very quiet, at least that was our experience. We loved the recommendations they gave us, especially arranging a boat tour of the caves around Sta. Maria de Leuca.
Marci S — Google review
Attention to this place. They promise you something, then they don't fully give what was expected. And since you pay up front, there is no way to get your money back. They ignore your calls, your emails, and your messages on social network. Please do not give them any money! And make sure to tell everyone you know!

Nestled in the serene countryside, Borgobianco Resort & Spa offers airy rooms and suites for a tranquil retreat. The Puglian restaurant serves delectable cuisine, while the hotel boasts two pools and a spa for relaxation. Guests praise the attentive and friendly staff who ensure a perfect stay. The aesthetic beauty of the hotel is complemented by warm and accommodating staff. Visitors rave about the outstanding breakfast with an array of delicious vegetables, catering to health concerns.
My stay was excellent. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, surrounded by olive trees and the see. The staff were so friendly and professional. A special thank you to Desiree, Francesco, Michel, Nico, and Giovanni who provided a service beyond amazing. Thank you so much. I will come back for sure!

Nice resort a bit out of the way. Transit into Polignano is useful but the last return back needs to be later than 10.30. Not really 5 star accommodation but staff are helpful and breakfast is good. Should let guests in pool before 10am though.
Ivan S — Google review
Although the hotel is 15 minutes away from the city, its breathtaking landscapes and views make it worth the trip. Borgobianco Resort excels in amenities and services, boasting stunning vistas, a large pool area, beautiful outdoor scenery, and a friendly staff. The only downside is that the rooms are somewhat outdated and lack queen beds, instead opting for two joined single beds. Nevertheless, the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is delightful, and the other food options are satisfactory as well. This hotel is a great choice if you're seeking a unique view, but keep in mind that it is also 15 minutes from all the beaches in town.
Luana P — Google review
No recommendation. 5 stars are only the prices. Everything else is somewhat a 3 stars or 3+ stars hotel. Old, used, dated rooms. Clean but with moldy areas in the shower. Dinner is on the very low end, lot of defrosted, not tasty. They dont use much fresh products, cheap supermarket pasta. Wine by glass is cheapest available. Positive: The area is quiet, nothing around. Careful: the pictures are misleading and overstate the situation by far. The value for money for an Italian hotel is very poor.

I just spent 5 amazing nights at Borgobianco with my husband and our 2 kids. If you’re looking for an authentic pugliesi experience, this is the place. Starting with the building, which is a charming borgo. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are comfortable, the terrace is huge and the view is breathtaking. The breakfast is delicious and the staff super friendly, speaking multiple languages in order to make all guests welcome. The drinks are great, such as the dinner. Grazie mille to all staff, since the kind guys who helped with the luggage, to the nice ladies who kept our room super clean, and the staff at the breakfast who did their best to help all guests speaking italian, english, french, spanish and even portuguese (special thanks to Danilo and Simona).

We just ended a wonderful 3 night stay at Borgobianco. We stayed there with our 1 1/2 year old daughter and had the best time. We just left this beautiful resort in the countryside located about 10 minute drive to Polignano a Mare town. We are relaxed and rejuvenated as it is a peaceful lovely haven with spectacular service. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and with a gorgeous view of the sea. I had two spa services and they were amazing. Shuttle can take you to and from town which is better than having to find a parking spot. Highly recommend

Il Melograno is a charming 5-star property dating back to the 16th century, surrounded by ancient Moorish buildings and featuring its own private beach club just a short walk away. The rooms are elegantly furnished with antique pieces, and the hotel offers a flower-filled courtyard, pool, tennis court, and spa. Located near the fishing village of Monopoli on the Adriatic coast, this historic estate is known for its Pugliese hospitality.
This place is both beautiful and relaxing. It is a self contained resort outside of town but we literally liked it so much that we just wanted to stay there rather than explore. That said, the location makes a terrific home base for exploring the area which is full of charming towns.
Shelley V — Google review
BEWARE: Penalties for Il Melograno Booking Modification FULLY Enforced!! My wife made a reservation in February - as did another couple we were traveling with. When plans changed - our co-travelers successfully modified their reservation without penalty. Unfortunately - my wife's father passed away January 26, 2025 and so the next 3 months my wife spent caring for her 85 year old mother while planning 2 Celebration of Life events in 2 different states. My wife never gave a second thought to the fact that our travel plans changed - because in the United States you're allowed to change your departure date right up to the time you decide to leave - without penalty. 11 days before our arrival - my wife realized she hadn't yet communicated our revised departure dates (though the other couple we were traveling with had), and so she called and let them know wherein they told us there would be a $500 penalty for this change and that there was nothing they would do to credit it. After presenting my wifes personal circumstance to the hotel management in person - and after spending nearly $5,000 dollars (10 hotel nights) between our 2 couples - we were again told there would be NO consideration given to my wife's situation and her dads passing. And so, we have been charged this full $500 penalty. I then told Il Melograno's management that in the interest of fairness, and because we first discovered this hotel using Tauck's website (we travel with Tauck 4 or 5 times a year), I would have no choice but to also inform Taucks user base of Il Melograno's harsh modification penalties. Also Google's user base; where I have posted hundreds of reviews - MOST GLOWING - but a few like this where I'm compelled to pass along facts and warn others NOT to make this same mistake. Overall the hotel was below average when compared to most other Tauck hotels: good people, great history, nice location. We had a car so were very happy to have abundant parking and not be in the middle of the city. Getting to Great nearby places like Polignano a mare, Monopoli, or Matera was quick and easy. Great things: Screens on the windows (hallelujah), lots of counter space in the bathrooms, quick service to the room if you request anything like the complementary water bottles or extra towels, comfortable king bed. Not so great: need a way to properly "seal" the showers so you don't flood the bathroom floor, stupid hangers with "non-theft" tops that are a pain to use (do people really steal hangers from 5 star hotels?), deadly tile steps/floor ledges transitioning from the bedroom to the bathroom - deadly for 60+ year-olds who might forget during the night, terrible "hold the button down the whole time" hair dryers. PAY ATTENTION if you book this hotel. There will be no second chance!!

A wonderful place to relax, explore the region, and simply enjoy yourself. Everyone is very attentive, and requests are answered quickly. We were able to take a tennis lesson, received great recommendations, and felt completely at ease. The Masseria is an old building with an elegant style and plenty of attention to detail.

We had a couple massage at Il Melograno and it was absolutely perfect. Vanessa and Miriam took great care of us, first asking about our preferences for pressure and focus areas, which made it feel very personal. The spa was spotless, the music and scents were calming, and the massage itself was super relaxing. We left feeling completely refreshed. Highly recommend booking a treatment here!

We just completed our stay along with our friends at Il Melograno and it was superb. Nestled in the olive groves below Ostuni, also known as the white city, Masseria Le Carrube offers a bohemian atmosphere with its simple yet airy rooms. The Melpignano family, owners of Borgo Egnazia, have created a more laid-back experience here. The highlight is the vegetarian and vegan restaurant that serves dishes made from ingredients grown on site.
We loved our stay at Masseria Le Carrube. Our suite (number 16) was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids). Housekeeping was amazing. Wonderful staff. Federica at the reception was particularly helpful with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit. Couldn't think of one thing to complain about! Thank you!

Hands down the most wonderful experience we had in Puglia during our vacation! They have a fantastic restaurant, fully vegetarian and serving the most exquisite seasonal foods. Everyday the menu changes based on what was harvested from the garden!! The chef also made arrangements for any vegans and came out to speak to us. The service was truly outstanding, everyone was so kind and made special arrangements by baking us a delicious cake to celebrate my sister and her fiancé’s engagement. This gesture came from their hearts and we really appreciated it! We shared the most beautiful moments with the family at this masseria and in fact returned again a second time to dine at their restaurant. Highly recommend their restaurant and hotel!! Their attention to detail at this masseria cannot be missed. It’s gorgeous.

Everything about this experience was amazing. This is the best and most beautiful Masseria in Puglia - it’s chic, modern, 5 star service & beautiful surrounds. I will never get over how gorgeous this place is. We loved our stay including the pool, lush grounds, beautiful breakfast buffet and vegetarian Puglian tasting menu we did for dinner. Please dine in their restaurant it’s amazing - loved this huge balcony we got. Ask for room 31. The insanely big balcony gave us beautiful sunset views of the pool and olive trees.

My spouse and I recently stayed at your resort and dined at the on-site restaurant as part of our honeymoon trip. We would like to begin by expressing our sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality we received during our stay. Your staff were exceptionally kind, and the thoughtful attention given to us as honeymoon guests truly enhanced our experience. However, I would like to bring to your attention an incident at the restaurant that left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. One of the female staff members — wearing thick-rimmed glasses and with her hair in a ponytail — treated us noticeably differently compared to other guests. While she offered after-meal drinks and served them personally to others, when we asked whether coffee or dessert drinks were available, we were told that none were offered. To make matters worse, when we received our bill we were charged €14 for a glass of wine we had ordered at €7. Although I do not necessarily believe this was an act of discrimination, the experience was nonetheless upsetting and left a negative impression on our otherwise enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated the resort overall and would consider staying again in the future. However, despite the quality of the food, this experience makes us hesitant to dine at the restaurant again. As this was our first visit to Puglia — though we have traveled to Italy many times — we were especially disheartened by the treatment we received from this particular staff member. I am writing to you not only to share our experience but also to kindly request an apology for how we were treated. We hope this feedback can help improve future guests’ experiences as well.

Taking the road through the olive trees to the gates of the Masseria was an experience to enjoy, however walking into the courtyard and then onto our room was delightful. This place is lovely, it has quality staff and all the attention to detail to make your stay memorable. We had the vegetarian taster menu (both nights with different menus) and it was superb, you should not miss it. The dining room is airy with high ceilings and a nice atmosphere. The walk in open fire place was a wonderful area to enjoy a digestive. Plenty of free parking on site, plenty of outside seating areas and an impressive pool area. Book it and enjoy.

Palazzo Ducale Venturi - Luxury Relais & Wellness is a luxurious seasonal hotel housed in a 16th-century building located in the charming town of Minervino di Lecce. The grand wooden doors lead to a treasure trove with gardens teeming with wildlife, including a tranquil pool area. The hotel offers a wellness area for relaxation and is praised for its exceptional service quality and friendliness, making it stand out among other hotels in the area.
Exceptional service at Palazzo Ducale Venture in Minervino di Lecce! When my mother's hotel plans changed unexpectedly, I had to quickly arrange for flowers to be delivered to her new accommodation here. Luisa Scordari, one of the hostesses, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Luisa promptly noticed an error in my order address and sent me a screenshot with the correct information. She kept me updated throughout the process, even sending a photo when the flowers arrived. When she realized the flowers didn't come with the advertised vase, she took the initiative to arrange them in one of the hotel's vases and display them beautifully in my mother's room before her arrival. These thoughtful gestures and attention to detail made the entire experience exceptional. My mother, who appreciates the finer points in life, will be thrilled by Luisa's efforts. It's these little things that truly elevate a stay from good to unforgettable. Palazzo Ducale Venture and their staff, especially Luisa, exemplify outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a hotel that goes the extra mile for its guests!

Our stay here turned out to be the best mistake ever. Booking in a hurry, we didn’t notice that it was not in Lecce, but a small town 30km away in the province of Lecce. However the team did everything possible to ensure we had a brilliant stay. The property is gorgeous - spacious rooms, chic decor, beautiful pool, small gym, fantastic massage service, lovely breakfasts and dinners - but the highlight was the warmth and kindness of all of the team, lead by the wonderful GM Daunia. Nothing was ever of too much bother. Highly recommend staying here.

If you are looking for a clean, guest service oriented hotel, with a friendly and eager to help staff, this is your place. We spent a week in Palazzo Ducale Venturi for our honeymoon. The staff were exceptional; truly some of the best hotel staff I have ever come across. They consistently went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were well looked after during our stay. Even the catering staff at breakfast always remembered my husband's dietary restrictions and shared with him the various options they had that day for him. The hotel organized quite a few bookings for us - beaches, restaurants, private dinners, massages, etc. Nearly everything they chose for us was great. The one exception was a private boat dinner, which was quite underwhelming and overpriced (we shared with them afterwards how bad the experience was). We were disappointed to see that we were still charged full price for this experience at check-out, but everything else they organized for us was great. The hotel itself has a wonderful old charm and rich history. It's a lovely gem in a quiet town, while still a short drive away from more lively towns and lovely beaches. Overall, a wonderful stay thanks to the terrific staff at the Palazzo! We hope to go back soon.

Palazzo Ducale Venturi is a true 5-star luxury hotel. The renovated 16th century castle is incredible and rich in history. With having a small number of rooms, the peace and tranquility of the hotel is second to none. We took part in a "pizza night" our first nights stay. The appetiser buffet was delicious & the pizza cooked in the original woodfire ovens of the castle was the best pizza of our whole Puglia holiday, wow. The breakfast was perfect with a great selection of fresh food, hot & cold in the beautiful garden setting. The way in which the staff look after you is what really makes this hotel so special. I would like to specifically thank Chiara & Maurizio for going above and beyond to get my sunglasses back to me after I left them behind in the lobby (I was too relaxed to remember them). Their help was greatly appreciated.

I cannot say enough about this gem of a hotel. Great location, our room was epic with a roof top terrace. The fee for the transfer to the beach was a bit steep, we mentioned that and they took off a bit of the fee. Breakfast was amazing as were the lunches. The staff very friendly, the pools were amazing.

Great experience - congratulations to the manager who hired the staff - service and friendliness are overwhelming. Our room very beautiful, Palazzo and pool area very nice and one of the best breakfast's we ever had in Italy. Finally, Minervino, not really a highlight,BUT some very good restaurants in town or nearby and in a good position for trips to Lecce, Adria beaches and (touristic village) Otranto. Excellent hotel !

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great, it is a luxury place from multiple points of view (large rooms, well furnished, great staff, good services, fabulous decorations), the surroundings don't have a lot of options, but I would recommend it for a summer holiday close to sea.

Palazzo Calò is a charming guesthouse located in the heart of Old Town Bari, offering 12 vintage-style apartments with stone walls and wood beams. The apartments are equipped with modern amenities such as statement pendant lights, stone sinks, and minimalist furniture. Guests can enjoy breakfast delivered to their suites each morning and take advantage of the fully equipped kitchens. The property also features a stunning rooftop terrace with panoramic views across Bari.
We have stayed in many places in Italy and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Calo the most. The staff were professional and friendly and very helpful. We stayed for a week in November, so outside the tourist season. I can only imagine how challenging it would be to install modern facilities into these ancient buildings. I think some tourists don't understand how challenging this must be and what limits it can impose on the facilities provided. In my opinion they have done a fine job. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a loft bed, but if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a room without a loft bed when booking. Breakfast provided consists of cakes, croissants, meat and cheeses and some vegetables. Scrambled eggs too. The dining room is clean and comfortable and very well managed. Bari is our favourite city in Italy. We found Bari unique in that tourist hotels like Palazzo Carlo are nestled amongst homes of the Bari people so it is perfectly located to access the old and new city on foot. Memories we treasure were simply walking the tiny alley ways of the city mixing with the beautiful Italian people who live in the streets of this exceptional city.

The rooms are now a little tired and need a revamp. They are cheaply furnished, with poor quality fixtures. The beds are particularly poor, with no mattress protectors, just a sheet on a mattress, which is unacceptable these days with the prevalence of bed bugs. The building is lovely with a nice roof terrace but all let down by the tired furnishings. Our room was on the second floor, which gets a lot of chair scraping noises from the roof bar above, I suggest the 1st floor may be better. The location for the old town is excellent. The reception service is ok, but the 2 requests we made were responded with a no! At €300 for 2 people for a night it’s over priced, it’s maybe worth half that amount.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of old town with lots of food options all very walkable. Friendly staff and different room types. I’d stay again and recommend!

If you're staying in the old part it's a great location. Parking is the only struggle. We found a lot on the main street 5 minute walk.

Trulli and Puglia Resort is a collection of 18th-century trulli nestled in the scenic hills of Alberobello. The property boasts a blend of traditional charm and modern design, featuring stone-built apartments with antique furnishings. Guests can enjoy an infinity pool overlooking the village, surrounded by lush gardens and countryside. The interiors showcase exposed limestone alongside stylish art pieces and handcrafted furniture.
Unique and unforgettable historical hotel. In the centre of town near many restaurants and wine bars. Our room was a three room suite with a sitting room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and small balcony. It would have been nice to stay an extra couple of days.

Mimmo, Ugo, and Emanuela were attentive and helpful hosts at all times. Our Trullo was centrally located and steps away from their lively wine bar. Quiet and private patio in back with seating, in hot weather, the air inside was a little still, though. Lovely experience overall!
Nate O — Google review
The place was beautiful and something we had never seen. There were 4 air conditioners in the house. We turned them on when we arrived and were able to cool the room down. The team offered us many ways of communicating with them upon our arrival and gave us a video of how to get to the trulli. Overall, an amazing experience.

Stayed two nights. Francisco was amazing, booking for us 2 restaurants and recommending the best gelato we have eaten in Italy. Shower was great and beds comfortable.

In one word Wow. Not only are the accommodations stunning, charming, fairytale like but wait till you meet the owners of this place. Wonderful family. Grandma, grandpa, brother, son, husband and wife all hands on deck to ensure you have the best experience and the most hospitable treatment. Mimo is the star of course and he made us feel home. They also have a wonderful bar with a great selection of wine and they really know their stuff when it comes to wine. I can’t wait to come back and you should absolutely stay there. Great value and well worth it

LOVED everything about this hotel. Our room was probably on the prettiest street on Alberobello! Staying at an actual trullo was super cosy, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. We had a late check in, so they picked us up at the bus stop since it was raining! Breakfast was delicious! Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Alberobello.

This is such a nice and cozy place! I had the most incredible stracciatella cheese in my life there. The wine is so good there, the food (mostly appetizers) is also made in heaven. I also recommend to buy some olive oil there, I’ve never tasted anything like this before

The nicest restaurant moment in my life. The food was excellent and the staff - 3 young guys- were magnifficent. The foccacia was out of this world, the wine was good but, above all, the service was very, very good. We left the place with " our bellies full and our spirit high".

A family-friendly boutique hotel on the Northern coast of Puglia, with a spa, games room, children's playground and two beach clubs. It has a golf course and tennis courts nearby, making it an all-ages summer camp with activities like Pilates and Vespa tours as well as olive oil tastings, piano lessons and more.
This is one of the original Masserias in Puglia and remains family owned. The whole place has the feeling of being run by a family that is hosting you on a private stay. We are an Australian family that were looking for a traditional 5 star experience and got it. We travelled with 2 teenage kids - 16 and 17 who both loved the experience as well. Dining in the evening was a wonderful experience with the freshest most delicious food and beautiful Puglian wine. We were served by the Sommelier Paolo who was literally the most personable, attentive and passionate (especially on wines) I've ever had in Italy - and this is my 20th visit ! Had afternoon chats with Bar manager Natale who was always friendly and took the time to make you feel like you are home - made great coffee and Old Fashions as well Pool failities are excellent - beach clubs are excellent - Our hearts bled tears of sadness leaving this place. It is the best. .

Made our 3rd visit to Masseria Torre Coccaro and can’t wait to go again next year. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and fantastically maintained. The team is helpful, friendly, and welcoming. It is a kid friendly place and the staff are kind ands welcoming to everyone. Their affiliated beaches give flexibility to get off the resort whilst being provided free, seamless, and quick shuttle transfers. Breakfasts are unbelievable and we quite enjoy lunches at Coccaro Beach (Le Palme is sometimes a bit sceney for the kids). It is luxury delivered in a subdued manner and attracts a lovely crowd of guests and families to share the trip with. My kids make friends each time they are there and the facilities make room for the kids to both be with us and have some safe independence.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, made so pleasant by the amazing staff. Our room was comfortable, private and quiet but with easy access to the fab facilities available. Alessandro at reception was incredibly helpful as are all the staff here. A real getaway from life's hustle and bustle in magical surroundings.

We just finished a 3 night stay during our honeymoon and it was beyond all expectations. It was a last minute booking and it could not have been better. The quality of the service is exceptional, the masseria is well maintained, room very comfortable and well designed, the pool area magical and the food was simply delicious ! Special mention to the kitchen and the restaurant staff for an exceptional and high quality service ! They made us feel at home and so much more. We were ther with our 20month old and they even made the experience special for her! We would go back in a heart beat A must for a 5 star experience in Puglia!

Nicole and I got married last Saturday, October 4th, 2025, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Masseria Torre Coccaro — a true gem of the Apulian region, where beauty, authenticity, and the quality of the service are the milestones that make it iconic and perfect for a truly meaningful experience. We were guided through out our wedding for about a year by Leonardo, the director of the venue, who helped bring our dream to life, leaving absolutely nothing to chance: from the setup and timing to the service and the outstanding quality of the food prepared by the in-house Masseria’s restaurant. They allowed us to gift our guests a dream (and not just for the two of us) — the most wonderful thing we could have wished for. A heartfelt thank-you to Leonardo, Ottavio, Giuseppe, and the whole team: before being incredible professionals, you are truly wonderful people. Thank you again — we can’t wait to come back.
Francesco S — Google review
The lobby and rooms reminded me of backpacking in Cambodia in the early 2000s. (This is very much not a compliment) Rather than a proper duvet, the bed comes with only a thin sheet and a thin brown blanket. This would be great if you booked an experience where you simulate the experience of living like a subsistence farmer, but not so great if you are a regular traveler wanting to get a good, comfortable night’s sleep. The beach clubs and their beaches were not impressive and service was spotty. Their Michelin star (?) restaurant was atmospheric but the food and service were mid at best. I would not return to stay if it were free.
Alex C — Google review
We were very early for our check in and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and were amazing throughout our stay. The food was so so good. This was our first stop in Puglia and it was hard to top!

Nestled along the stunning sandy shores of Torre Canne, the Canne Bianche Lifestyle & Hotel is a luxurious retreat that perfectly blends elegance with a relaxed atmosphere. This beachfront gem features modern accommodations, each equipped with private balconies or patios offering breathtaking views of the sea, hills, or lush gardens. Guests can indulge in delightful Apulian cuisine at two on-site restaurants and enjoy complimentary breakfast to start their day right.
If You Want to Feel at Home, This Is the Right Place From the moment we arrived at Canne Bianche, we felt embraced by warmth, elegance, and authenticity. The atmosphere is calm and refined, yet incredibly welcoming — every member of the staff treats you not just as a guest, but like part of a big, beautiful family. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending Mediterranean charm with modern comfort. Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh local ingredients, homemade pastries, delicious coffee, and a peaceful sea view that stays with you long after you leave. Whether you’re unwinding at the spa, lounging by the pool, or enjoying a candlelit dinner by the beach, everything feels effortless and intimate. And let’s not forget the cocktails — beautifully crafted, refreshing, and full of personality. Each drink felt like a little celebration, perfectly matched with the setting sun and the sound of the waves. Canne Bianche is more than a hotel — it’s a place where luxury feels like home.

We have recently returned from one week in Canne Bianche. Without doubt, one of the finest hotels we have stayed in and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a holiday that involves mostly (or entirely) relaxation in the sun, an amazing pool, close access to the sea and stunning array of drinks and food options. The worst thing about CB is perhaps also the best - there is very little worth visiting on foot in the surrounding Torre Canne area (there are certainly many great visits in Puglia if you have car, or do not mind paying the taxi fares). This for us was actually perfect - we did not feel guilty about rarely leaving the hotel! The staff are incredible by the way .... we are also lucky enough to be staying during one of the Hotel's special festival nights, and that was a wonderful experience. The next time we need a proper rest, we will be back...

Marco, Rosella, Anna, and Pina who went over and above to ensure our stay was truly memorable. I cannot wait to come back next year. It is a luxurious hotel with a family feel that ensures truly comfortable experience!

We had 4 lovely nights at this special hotel which benefited from being on the beach and in good proximity to lovely towns. It was relaxed but stylish and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as homemade cookies/pastry at night, yummy sour lemon sweets, and a steamer in the room to name just a few. It had a lovely shop which was just open to wander in and if you found something you like you’d just tell the front desk. We especially enjoyed our complimentary cooking class where we and another family made tarallo taught by the lovely Lena and assisted in translation by Lesley G who I believe is one of the senior team. It’s the kind of hotel where I hugged both goodbye and was sad to leave.

We had the most wonderful stay at Canne Bianche hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—especially Leslie, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning and decorated so beautifully. Our room was spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed every meal. This resort truly exceeded our expectations and made our time in Puglia unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Just left Canne Bianche after an amazing stay, made all the better by the great staff, to many to mention but a special mention to Patrizia who organised some amazing trips for us, very personalized - thank you. Also thanks to Giuseppe and Ange to enhancing my knowledge of Grappa during our stay. The hotel design is simply beautiful. Well done... The food was fantastic, started each day by a great breakfast with the best egg chef. Fresh fish every day both lunch and dinner, don't be fooled by the pizza restaurant just doing amazing pizza there are some great local dishes as well. We will be back soon.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, a great pool set up and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were great and we had our own little balcony area. The breakfast had such great variety and we loved the outside area where we had it. Really couldn’t ask for more friendly staff, Anna was particularly helpful 🙂 The only issue is its location- the local town doesn’t really have much going on so you would need a car.
Fiona B — Google review
We were staying closeby and were thinking of having dinner here. Popped in for a coffee and to have a look before booking. The lady working at the pool bar was excellent, warm and courteous hence the three stars. When we went in to pay for the coffee it seemed to be a big deal we weren't residences and they required ID - ID to pay for two coffee's ! Then when we paid the bill they sprayed it with perfume. A very pretentious place. Not far away is Borgo Egnazia, one of the finest hotels in the world. Having gone there for dinner all staff were exceptional, no pretentiousness whatsoever despite the countless elite clientele and stunning interior. The attitude of this hotel is dated, just be warm, just be friendly rather than being snobs for no good reason if their ever were to be a good reason....

The resort boasts a prime location, nestled in an area surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. However, reaching it by car is quite challenging due to extensive construction nearby, which can lead to some frustration for travelers. The clean and well-maintained accommodations reflect a rustic charm that might appeal to those looking for a more authentic experience. However, they may not meet the expectations of guests seeking modern luxury. One of the hotel's standout features is its impressive spa, which offers a serene atmosphere and a variety of reasonably priced wellness services that invite relaxation and rejuvenation. The resort is housed within a magnificent palace-like structure, showcasing exquisite architecture and intricate interior design elements that add to its allure. However, our experience with the staff left something to be desired. At times, they appeared disorganized, and our attempts to secure restaurant reservations were met with confusion, resulting in some mix-ups. That said, I would like to thank the management for their prompt apology and thoughtful gesture of providing complimentary fruits as a token of goodwill. Despite these minor setbacks, I genuinely believe the resort's exceptional location and beautiful surroundings outweigh any inconveniences. After all, you hardly spend much time in your room when there’s so much to explore and enjoy outside your door.

Hotel Risorgimento in Lecce is a delightful boutique hotel with a prime location, perfect for exploring the charming historic center. The service is generally good, with staff attentive to guests' needs, and the overall ambiance exudes elegance and comfort. However, one downside to my stay was discovering an unexpected charge for using the spa facilities, which I wasn't informed about beforehand. It was disappointing to only find out about this additional fee when I received the bill at checkout. While the hotel offers a lovely experience overall, clearer communication regarding extra charges would significantly improve the guest experience.

Absolutely comfortable hotel located in the heart of the city. Reception is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food selection for both breakfast and dinner was fantastic. The upstairs bar struggles a small but in serving large audiences, as I found it hard to get any waiters/waitresses attention. They tend to focus on larger tables. Otherwise a great spot.

Masseria Torre Maizza is a luxurious hotel that has been transformed into a colorful and vibrant space by Olga Polizzi. This 16th-century farmhouse features groovy patterned headboards, two-tone curtains, and crisp chequered flooring in the Carosello restaurant. The hotel offers traditional-meets-contemporary rooms and suites, a pool bar, and the Carosello Restaurant inspired by Puglian tradition.
We have just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay at Masseria Torre Maizza. We absolutely loved it and were made to feel so welcome - special mention to Fortunata who had excellent front of house skills and gave us really good local advice. All the other staff were excellent too - they seemed to take pride in their jobs and genuinely wanted to give us an amazing holiday! The hotel is beautiful and peaceful and the bedrooms are exceedingly comfortable and beautifully decorated with exquisite ceramics. We loved the Bambu Beach Club - the sunbeds on the beach were very comfortable and our lunches were delicious! We have come home feeling refreshed and thoroughly pampered. There is no doubt we will return to this hotel - there is absolutely nothing that needs improving - it is PERFECT! Thank you to the Hotel Manager for running an excellent hotel!

Probably the best hotel service I have ever experienced. The staff go out of their way to make sure your holiday is perfect! The concierge team we had the privilege to work with, Fortunato, Pasquale and Gianni were always ready and willing to help! Fortunato in particular made sure to help us every day of our stay with our sight-seeing plans. He had the absolute best recommendations for dinner and lunch places and his ability to make sure we went to the best towns, the best olive oil and wine tasting experiences and overall really made our vacation incredible. The restaurant on site provided extraordinary breakfasts and dinners. The entire Masseria is beautiful and peaceful. Cannot wait to go back and see more of Puglia and its beauty,

We had a wonderful stay at the Masseria Torre Maiza, in the voluptuous Deluxe Junior Suite. The private rooftop terrace is a must! Many thanks to our dear friend Toni (Antonino Pace, Executive Manager) and his very professional and courteous team for their outstanding welcome and attention to every detail. A very high-end service in this exclusive hotel that perfectly blends local heritage with contemporary luxury and unparalleled service - a haven of peace, calm and beauty in the heart of Puglia.

A Dream Woven in Olive Trees – The Epitome of Luxury in Puglia From the moment you arrive at Masseria Torre Maizza, nestled in the sun-drenched countryside of Puglia, you realize you’re not just checking into a hotel — you’re stepping into a world where time slows, elegance reigns, and every detail whispers luxury. This Rocco Forte masterpiece perfectly marries traditional Apulian charm with modern sophistication. The restored 16th-century masseria is surrounded by ancient olive groves, fragrant lemon trees, and the gentle hum of the Mediterranean breeze. The design by Olga Polizzi is impeccable — each room is a serene blend of local craftsmanship and understated opulence. My suite felt like a private sanctuary, complete with a rooftop terrace and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The service is where this hotel truly excels. Staff anticipate your every need with warmth and discretion. It’s not just hospitality — it’s artistry. Whether arranging a private beach dinner, a Vespa tour through the Valle d’Itria, or a surprise aperitivo in the garden, the team at Torre Maizza makes magic look effortless. A special mention must go to Pasquale, our extraordinary host, whose genuine warmth, attentiveness, and local wisdom made our stay unforgettable. Pasquale embodies the spirit of Puglian hospitality — gracious, thoughtful, and always ready with a smile and a perfect recommendation. He didn’t just host us; he welcomed us like family and made us feel completely at home in this slice of paradise. Dining at Carosello is a revelation. Every plate is a celebration of local ingredients and Italian culinary soul, paired with exceptional regional wines. Breakfast under the bougainvillea-draped pergola? Pure poetry. And then there’s the pool — a serene, mirror-like expanse framed by white parasols and whispering pines. The wellness offerings, including the Irene Forte Spa, elevate relaxation to a sacred ritual. Torre Maizza isn’t just a hotel. It’s a love letter to Puglia, to style, and to the art of refined living. If heaven were a place on Earth, it might just be here.

Everything but a luxury resort We stayed there for one night and were highly disappointed by the place that is clearly not a « luxury resort » but a simple B&B. Welcoming was very bad, they kicked us out of the shared space (restaurant) because we came a bit early for check in, and asked us to wait outside in the heat at 37 degrees. The cleaning lady who welcomed us was disrespectful, and no apologies have been made by the owner neither. (We were at least expecting some consideration for the price we paid -300eur). Facilities were basic. Clean room and bathroom but no bathroom set nor coffee. No air conditioning in the bathroom (it felt like a sauna). Nice garden but there are animals who doesn’t look in good health condition (especially the parrot). Location is a bit far away from Alberobello historic center (30min by walk). I don’t recommend the place. For this price, we could have find better and a real luxury resort.

Our first time visit in Alberobello and beautiful three nights stay. If we ever come back we will be back to the same resort. Very friendly staff, great location, great resort with all the animals on the site. One thing we didn't like is that the swimming pool was not open and nobody told us before we went, even though I asked for it. The swimming pool is open only during pick season I guess. Also not much info given about the truly spa they have and we didn't use as we didn't know about and lastly we did ask about what to see in the area but they didn't mention about the cave which we missed as we didn't know again. Basically everything was perfect, except information given to tourists for local service available around . Other than that wonderful stay . Thank you
Dimcho P — Google review
I am not sure how to begin to explain how poorly this "resort" is managed and how terrible the management here has made me and my family's experience in Puglia. Upon arrival, my family and I were late as our connecting flight was delayed (which was beyond our control). We were given a less than satisfactory explanation on how to access our Trullo, and only after arriving in the city did we find out that the roads close at night after we asked a local. We had been in contact with the staff at the resort and informed them we would be arriving late, yet they failed to inform us of such crucial information. My family and I were left roaming the streets of Alberobello with four luggages until we could find our Trullo. Originally, we had told the booking staff that four adults would be staying in the Trullo. When we opened door to our Trullo, there was only ONE real bed, and ONE PULL-OUT COUCH. How is a family of four adults supposed to fit in two (or should I say, one and a HALF) beds???? Thankfully, only 3 of us ended up staying in the Trullo, however those of us who slept in the pull out couch were extremely uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and metal bars underneath the mattress. This was NOT a two bed Trulli, and that should have been disclosed to us prior to us booking the room, and even with photos sent to us, that did not do the Trulli justice, and was inaccurate to what we actually were given. We also had many concerns, such as a blow drier not working and no toilet paper (only one roll). We had NO problem with this, and the next day reached out to the staff to get a new hair drier. As soon as we addressed this with them and told them the Trullo was a lot smaller than we expected, and we would be MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY FOR AN UPGRADE, the staff became slightly annoyed. They DID provide us with a new blow drier, AND upgraded our Trullo. We paid for the upgrade however, the resort did not tell us that the upgrade we were getting would not have internet, a functioning air conditioning, and towels only suitable for two people, not a family. At the end of the day, Alberobello is BEAUTIFUL, however this particular resort does not like being held accountable or does not care for the consideration of its customers. They do not want to be questioned or do not want customers to address their concerns, and if you do that, their entire attitude changes. We have been to COUNTLESS Italian cities - we ARE Italian, but we have NEVER experienced such poor service.

La Corte Dell'Astore was by far the best choice we could've made! Such an incredible accomodation..everything about it is just over the top. People working here are very friendly and nice, but the place is just amazing. Our room had a built in aquarium over the bed, with colorful little fish. Everything is spotless, extremely clean, the design is amazing, great to have an entire experience just by staying somewhere. The shower is fantastic, very intimate and relaxing. The breakfast took us by surprise, as it was a new amazing dining room in accordance to the rest of the place. The food was also very good to start a great day. Thank you for everything! It was a pleasure staying here! *PS, the doggo is just the greatest host you could ever wish for

It was a great choice to stay at La Corte Dell'Astore. It is very close to all the main view points and attractions in Alberobello. Resort has an Wild Park with (camels, ostriches, wolves, eagles and other animals). The exterior of the Resort is very beautiful as are the wonderful rooms (clean and cozy). It's just a pity that the outdoor pools are not yet open. They also have their own bar in the city center "Tenute Capovaccaio Wilde Wine" with a wonderful view of the Trullo houses and here you can taste their own made wine and if you want you can take a picture with the eagles. For breakfast, you will get almost everything they make themselves (bread, croissants, cheese, jam, pancakes, natural yogurt and more) The food is fresh and delicious. Staff was very pleasant and honest. So it was a great choice to stay at La Corte Dell'Astore Wild In Style Resort.

A very unique place to stay for a trulli experience. Close to Alberobello's city center, where restaurants and shops are numerous. The property is impeccably maintained by committed staff like Alex, who made sure that our stay was everything we hoped for. The presence of zoo animals, including a Galapagos tortoise and American bald eagles was extra special. It is clear that the property, animals and how all is maintained is someone's lifelong dream and passion.

An absolute hidden gem! This hotel offers a truly unique and dreamy escape, nestled in a peaceful and quiet location that feels worlds away from everyday life. The atmosphere is incredibly serene - perfect for unwinding. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh, high-quality options, and dinner was equally impressive. The highlight? The amazing pool area - tranquil, beautifully designed, and ideal for relaxing under the sun. Highly recommended for anyone looking to recharge in a calm and charming setting.

13.10.2025, 19:30. Over the past two years, I have been at Ottolire Resort three times. On all three occasions, I was extremely impressed with the level of refinement, professionalism, service, attention to detail and exclusivity. All the staff are very professional, kind and attentive, and can be seen to take much pride in their work, and show genuine interest in making their guests feel valued. The sheer beauty of the location - the fabulous architecture of both buildings and manicured grounds, and the setting in the hills of the Itria Valley, make the whole experience at Ottolire Resort truly exceptional. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel and its excellent restaurant to anyone looking for serenity and true exclusivity. My compliments to all the staff at Ottolire Resort. Kind regards, Paul Millward

Absolutely the best hotel! The view is incredible, the room was beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, and the whole space feels well thought out. The pool area is lovely — peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is decent, but you can order à la carte, which definitely elevates the experience. We tried the spa — it was nice, but for such a spectacular hotel, I think it could either be larger or located in a more special setting. The location is also excellent. It’s very central, so we were able to visit many beautiful towns and spots nearby. Last but not least, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great recommendations and happy to assist with reservations. Highly recommended — would definitely come back!

A beautiful resort in every way - so clean, pretty and spacious. The staff were wonderful and the food excellent, both at dinner and breakfast. Lovely pool bar offering light snacks for lunch - and the pool area itself was large, clean and peaceful with plentiful beds. 10 minutes from Locorotondo and Cisternino, we could not have found anywhere more perfect for our three night stay. Very sad to leave.

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing stay at Ottolire. The staff are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. The breakfast was so good with wonderful fresh fruit picked from the grounds everyday, pastries, eggs cooked to your liking and a huge choice of other delights. Just what we needed! Can not wait to come back.

Had our wedding here recently with 35 guests. Grounds are well kept and staff (especially Mary and Flavio) were attentive. Owners are kind and food was good. I was impressed with how much special attention was paid to dietary restrictions. Our guests spoke about how pretty the resort was and also how the massages were very good

We have been travelling around Puglia for the past 2 weeks and Ottolire is one of the most beautiful places we have encountered. The surrounding vineyards and olive groves are spectacular, the rooms luxurious and comfortable and the staff friendly, hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us. I’d recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special to stay and definitely plan to return in the future.

We had to cancel our trip as our dog required surgery and post-surgical care. While we acknowledge that our booking was non-refundable, we felt the hotel could have shown more understanding given the circumstances. Instead of offering flexibility, our request to amend the dates was refused, which came across as lacking compassion. The only option they offered was a name change on the booking, which was neither practical nor helpful. Considering it was high season, it is very likely that the room was resold while we were still charged in full. I also shared my experience on TripAdvisor, and the hotel’s public reply was quite upsetting. They claimed that we had not provided a veterinary certificate, which was not accurate, as no such request was ever made. Once I read their response, I immediately sent the veterinary documents, but the hotel did not acknowledge or reply. This entire experience has been very disappointing—especially while caring for our recovering dog and dealing with the financial loss of our holiday. Based on this, we would not recommend this hotel.

Sei Stelle Mama is an elegant guesthouse housed in a 19th-century building, offering well-appointed rooms and a terrace that provides stunning city views. The hotel's compact yet efficiently designed spaces are tastefully decorated with high-quality finishes. Guests can enjoy personalized service from the attentive staff who go above and beyond to assist with organizing excursions and dining experiences.
Stayed here for a weekend and had a great experience. The owner, Antonia, and her staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was served right on time each morning, and the rooms were very clean. They are on the smaller side, but that’s expected for a central location — and if you’re in Polignano, chances are you won’t be spending much time indoors anyway. The AC was a lifesaver during the hot days, and the location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of everything. It’s lively at night, but never too loud to get a good night’s sleep. There is an elevator, but we mostly used the stairs and loved the charm of the hidden side entrance. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The welcoming was simply amazing – Antonia, the owner, organized everything perfectly for us and shared some excellent tips that made our trip even better. We truly felt at home. The staff were warm and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, and the location couldn’t be better. Everything was spot on. Well done to the whole team – keep it up! I strongly recommend this place.

They were extremely kind from the moment we walked in their entrance. Antonia (the owner) and the girls working with her had smiles on their faces and made us feel so comfortable to be there. First of all, the place has an awesome smell. They are doing a perfect job keeping the place fresh and clean. The food and drinks were delicious!!! And they are right downstairs from the rooms. Can’t get better than that. Night life is literally downstairs and if you want to hear Italians sing, leave the windows open at night. If not, the windows have great soundproofing. They have their own skin care by the way made out of purple carrots in-house. Amazing!!! We are very happy with our stay there, even though it was short cause we’re touring through Italy. Thank you Antonia and entire Sei Stelle Mama team.

Antonia (the owner), truly made our stay a memorable one. We truly felt like family here. The cappuccinos, the food, the recommendations, were ALL so thoughtful and spot on! The hotel is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and all the action. It hen, and night, the rooms have excellent black out and sound proof shutters and nice thick mattresses so you can get a good night’s sleep. We left here after few days to explore the southern part of Puglia but my family and I, all missed this hotel so much!

Sei Stelle Mama is a hidden gem of a luxury boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Our deluxe room had the most incredible cathedral-like spa bathroom, and views of the square from the bedroom. Antonia, the owner, the staff were lovely and so helpful during our stay. The farm to table breakfast was a highlight as well. Highly recommend for your stay in Polignano a Mare!

Just don’t. Stuff doesn’t speak a word in English. The design rooms are extremely small. The day of the check out they will be kicking you out because other guests are arriving but for extra 100 euros for just one extra hour, those imaginary guests can wait. The hotel is located on the loudest street and people party till 3 in the morning.

Words can’t describe how amazing this hotel is. The rooms, the food, the included breakfast, and the vibe outside of the hotel is a must to experience. The owner is amazing, and super nice. We are coming back to Polignano, and will stay here

Extended stay hotel
La Fiermontina is a refined hotel located in the heart of Lecce, Italy. It is housed in a 17th-century home and offers an upscale restaurant as well as an outdoor pool. The hotel represents a return to ancestral roots for its French-born owner, who bought one of the few historic palazzos within the city walls and transformed it into a stylish refuge with star-vaulted ceilings, vintage modernist furnishings, and contemporary art from the owner's private collection.
La Fiormentina is exceptional. We had such an amazing stay and can’t wait to visit again! The architecture and design is absolutely stunning, the property offers a luxurious yet warm and homey vibe. The area is safe and a short walk to the heart of old town. The people, amazing! Thank you to the friendly, welcoming, and super helpful team that went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. We can’t thank you enough for making our Lecce experience an incredible vacation that we will never forget.

The hotel feels like you’ve been dropped in to a movie set! When the sparrows are flying above chaotically at night it’s a bit Alfred Hitchcock-esq. It’s stunning with understated elegance. The gardens with olive trees and oranges are beautiful and inviting but cozy enough to feel comfortable. The artwork throughout the hotel and at their private museum is so special. And once you hear the story behind it all you will find it all even more captivating. The staff. Couldn’t. Be. Nicer!! Our room was very comfortable and elegant. My ONLY complaint was the lighting in the bathroom was not good. Applying makeup was tough and the safe was a challenge. The photos on the website don’t do this place justice at all. The town of Lecce was quaint. Food was good. Hotel helped us with a driver and tour guide for the day and another day at Mora Mora beach club. Also great experiences. Highly recommend!

La Fiermontina is absolutely the best. Definitely the nicest and most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed in. We didn’t want to leave. First, Marta and Eleonora - and all the staff - are so genuinely kind and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay relaxing and easy. I will miss them. The location is perfect - within the historic center and super close to the sites that you’ll want to explore but away enough to be quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the musuem, just a minute away from the hotel. While there was another family staying there, we felt that we were the only ones there. Our room was on the top floor with our own private huge patio and jacuzzi. The huge room had a big comfortable bed and great shower. Awesome breakfast that seemed to be just for us - we’re earlier risers. The chef is just the kindest, sweetest person. Oh and we also had access to the hotel property and their gorgeous pool - and their other hotel property just a bit further away and its gorgeous roof deck for cocktails and skyline view of Lecce. Marta - can we come back and just live upstairs at the musuem? You won’t even notice us. Give our best to everyone and please thank them for us. Oh and did I mention this little one (see photo under patio chair) who would often come visit us?

We stayed for 6 nights and this is the first 5 star hotel where the hardware and software consistently delivered above and beyond. The property's tranquil aesthetic fits like a glove in the beautiful old town of Lecce without sacrificing function. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and so are the shared spaces. All the staff were attentive, friendly and made us feel like we are at home. Special mention to Alessandro who remembered the little details every morning and Aldo, who made our evening at the rooftop bar so wonderful (ask him about limoncello!). The food and beverage quality was also very high and I looked forward to returning to our room each day. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Our entire experience is a testament of the hotel's commitment to top notch hospitality.

What a gorgeous hotel! The property and rooms are stunning, and the swimming pool area was a peaceful oasis. The entire property is very serene and gorgeously landcaped with beautiful sculptures . Can we talk about their breakfast? Truly one of the best ever with made to date order breakfast eggs and fresh orange juice with a bountiful buffet that included fresh fruits and berries (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry). The service was flawless and the rooms were made while we were at breakfast. Thank you for a perfect stay.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Not only is it located conveniently, the grounds are stunning! My Dad and I stayed here for 4 nights in Lecce. The breakfast is hands-down one of my favorite hotel breakfasts I have ever had. And the dinner we had was phenomenal. All of the staff were so kind, so accommodating, and so knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Lecce. The staff really made us feel welcome and like we were a part of the family, especially Andrea!! I feel like I left a piece of my heart at this hotel. Will definitely be coming back again. Also, be sure to check out their other location in Lecce as they have a beautiful rooftop bar!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nestled in the lush Valle d'Itria near Ostuni, The masseria Cervarolo is a 16th-century rural retreat that seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern luxury. Its 17 rooms and suites are housed in the main building and historic trulli, offering a unique stay experience. The rustic-chic suites, some located in renovated peasants' workshops, can accommodate up to six guests.
A facility I can describe as perfect from start to finish, but I especially need to highlight the restaurant section. The extremely warm and attentive service made everything we ate feel even more delicious. Our room, the overall condition of the garden, and the calm and tranquility of the lounge were truly beautiful. Everything was perfectly thought out and organized. We extend our thanks to all the staff and owners who made this possible and contributed to giving us such a wonderful holiday experience.

We loved our stay at the Masseria. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cozy and nicely decorated, the pool area was beautiful, and the location was a nice centrally located base for exploring the area. I enjoyed coming back home from our evening trips to nearby towns and walking into the cozy cottage-like farmhouse at the end of every evening. The breakfast was decent, and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the room/washroom was very small and a bit hard to maneuver with two big suitcases, but only a minor grievance. Their larger rooms looked very nice if you can manage to book one. We would definitely come back and stay again.
Matt S — Google review
Overall we had a very nice 2 night stay at Masseria Cerverolo while exploring Alberbello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni. The masseria itself is beautiful, as are the grounds & shared spaces. The pool and bar are phenomenal for the area with excellent cocktails & snacks. We stayed in room number 2, and frankly we were very disappointed with it in terms of basic amenities versus nightly cost. Perhaps had we been able to stay in one of the Trulli rooms our opinion might be different, but room number 2 was the only room available to us as a couple despite booking in early May for an early September stay. Availability issues are not a complaint, just something to keep in mind before booking. That said, we know booking a masseria means rustic charm, but that should not mean basic amenities are excluded. For example, both the bathroom sink and shower were so small that water ended up all over the bathroom floor with every use. The only bath mat provided was the size and consistency of a hand towel, so we had standing water on our bathroom floor for the entirety of our stay because the bath mat could not keep up with the sheer amount of excess water. On top of that, the tiny shower, maybe 2 feet deep, only had a cotton curtain with nothing to weigh it down or hold it in place. Rather than provide an extra bath mat or towels, there was a note instructing us to hang our wet items on a communal clothesline in a shared space on the property. For $250+ per night that's not only unacceptable but doesn't even address the main issue that the slippery stone bathroom floor is constantly soaked and doesn't dry because the farmhouse traps in the humidity. While the included breakfast each morning was outstanding, dinner unfortunately was not. As others have said, you need to reserve dinner each morning at breakfast or by emailing ahead before you arrive. There is a classic menu and a vegetarian menu, 3-4 courses each for 50 euros, no wine/beverages. In reality 2 courses overlap both menus each night so 6 dishes total were being prepared daily for dinner. We did eat dinner there on our arrival night, and while the service and wine selection were outstanding, the food itself was boring and anything but memorable, our least memorable meal in 14 days in Puglia. While the ingredients were seasonal and fresh, the whole affair seemed like it was designed to be as economical as possible in terms of cost without sacrificing any profit margin at 50 euro per person. There is also zero flexibility to order anything a la carte at the masseria after the pool bar stops serving food at 6:30pm. If you don't like the daily menu, don't want a 3-4 course tasting menu, don't want to pay 50 euros per person on food alone or don't want to eat at 8pm you're on your own. And they will not let you bring food into the masseria and eat it on the property. They have signs to that effect all over common spaces. Fortunately for us we had an outstanding meal in Cisternino for 80 euros on our 2nd night that included wine, and we sat down at 9:30pm. Why Cervarolo didn't want our 80 euros is beyond us, but when we left for dinner at 9pm there were exactly 4 tables being served. Seems like maybe they should adopt a kitchen/restaurant model more in line with virtually every other hotel/resort on the planet. Anyway, beautiful property in a great location with a great pool & bar and great service. Food options, while fresh, are limited and inflexible with a high price tag compared to better options in the area. And the rooms while charming are not maintained in standard that justifies the cost per night. To us this is why Masseria Cervarolo falls short, and why we cannot give it more than 3 stars.
Dee L — Google review
We had the most amazing stay at Masseria Cervarolo, and can't recommend it highly enough. It starts with the warmest of welcomes and a tour of the masseria that quickly makes you realise what elevates this above the other options in the region - the huge pool, the gorgeous communal lounge and the incredible setting. Once shown to your room, you come to appreciate the care and attention that's been poured into the space. Someone with a keen aesthetic eye has probably lost their mind making everything here perfect, and it's just gorgeous as a result. Sit by the pool and sip on a spritz, or take your drink into the lounge to prepare yourself for dinner. We failed to get the record player to play the significant collection that's left for guests (as case of user error rather than anything wrong with the player!), but nonetheless loved using the space. And finally the restaurant. The tasting menu was fantastic, and changes nightly. And the next morning you'll be treated to an excellent buffet breakfast. Just wonderful, and well worth spending a little extra to make Masseria Cervarolo part of your stay in Puglia.
Ross F — Google review
We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at the beautiful Masseria Cervarolo. Though we did not stay in one of the trulli rooms, the room we stayed in was perfect- quiet and private, charming and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in over our entire 2 weeks in Italy! Breakfast was bountiful with fresh local products - a delicious and filling start to a big day of exploring. The pool area was stunning and we enjoyed relaxing there in the afternoon. A perfect and peaceful stay - thank you so much to the entire Masseria Cervarolo team for providing us with an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been to the Masseria twice in the past few years, and it will not be the last! This is truly a special place, more beautiful than the photos suggest, and it feels like someone has opened their home to you. There are so many nice touches like the serene pool and incredible food/bar service you can have there, little alcoves with seating throughout the property, fresh fruit trees everywhere, fresh cookies in the communal kitchen every afternoon, and more. The breakfast spread is incredible and the dinner is too. We love it here and can't wait to come back!

Lovely old accommodation. Staff were friendly and food was good. Only criticism was that the room was very cold. They had turned the heating off in preparation for the summer season, leaving the rooms cold. Asked if we could have heating back on, but it was not possible, even though the manager was sitting at her desk with a puffer jacket on. Had to ask for an extra blanket. Also had to run the hot water tap for a good 15 minutes before hot water came out. Such a waste of water. Completely understand these issues are to be expected in old accommodation, and otherwise it was a unique experience in a beautiful property.

Vinilia Wine Resort - Dimora Storica is a premium hotel that offers trendy rooms and suites with complimentary Wi-Fi, along with amenities such as a pool, spa, and restaurant. The resort is nestled in the lush nature of the Primitivo di Manduria region and is affiliated with the Masseria Trullo di Pezza winery. The chef, Pietro Penna, showcases his culinary expertise by creating dishes that highlight the simplicity of fresh ingredients sourced from their own garden.
The setting is as tranquil and lovely as the website promises. As you would expect, the bedding was plush, the bathroom both functional and stylish. A good breakfast is something we really enjoy, and the Vinilia did not disappoint - fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, sweet and savory breads, yogurt and omelettes made to order. Possibly even more laudable than the physical environment was the exceptional service of the very friendly staff. At each and every turn, the employees were gracious, kind, helpful and welcoming. We always felt that, by choice, they took pride in going one step beyond what may have been expected of them. Kudos, applause and gratitude to Team Vinilia.

The staff and customer service are awesome!! We had great stay for three nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer! We arrived on 17th August, coincidentally they were having the biggest event in the summer. Great food and wine and band!! Then we spent a day staying in the resort chilling in the pool and again enjoying their wine. We booked the restaurant (they have one Michelin star restaurant on site) for the third night. Absolutely delicious and we love the dining area is in the beautiful outdoor. What an amazing experience!! We love everything there.

We had a fantastic stay at this great location. Highly recommended to discover the whole region, conveniently located, and with a beautiful little castle nested in a quiet park. The restaurant is worth the experience : the menu offers a great choice of local products, prepared with great skills by the Chef. One of our best value for money michelin-starred restaurant. The team was really helpful in discovering the local wines. All in all, a great place, highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel for a special occasion. It is a beautiful building with large rooms. The Michelin starred Casamatta restaurant is a big draw. The pool area was fantastic with lots of seating and umbrellas, great changing facilities and a very good pool bar serving food and drink. In the hotel, the service is a bit hit and miss though. We checked in before our rooms were ready but were allowed to use the pool which we were very grateful for. However we weren’t told that the pool towels were on a ticket system so when we went to check in the day, we were made to go back to collect the towels from the pool area! Away from the pool, service was very slow. I had to go and request service for evening drinks. The cocktails were not great - my espresso martini was served without coffee beans. A first world problem I know but a hotel at this end of the price spectrum should know better. The food at Casamatta more than made up for it though. Finally breakfast was ok but again, trying to get a coffee was much more difficult than it should be and there was no menu or personalised options. I had explained at the time of booking that I had a nut allergy but despite the small size of the hotel and the claim of “personalised service”, no one checked in with me at breakfast and asked if I needed help selecting food. The final odd thing was coming down for breakfast and immediately being asked if the cleaner could start cleaning the room even though we were due to check out a couple of hours later! A nice hotel, let down by service but worth the stay if you’re eating at Casamatta.

What a lovely property tucked away in a private and quiet location. The beautifully restored castle is the perfect juxtaposition of old and new, decorated with bright, smart and modern furnishings. A tour was provided by the knowledgeable and extremely pleasant gentleman at reception. The added bonus was a delicious dinner prepared at their Michelin starred restaurant. Only suggestion for the restaurant is to have tabletops with more subtle patterns since the loudness of the design detracted from the beauty of the food. There is a lovely pool and beautifully manicured grounds. The owners should do a bit more to emphasize the “wine lodge” aspect as this was our reason (along with the restaurant) for visiting. No wine was comped in rooms (a nicety usually provided at wine lodges) and no on-site wine tastings were available. Travel to their tasting room, a good distance away is required

We stayed at Vinillia Wine Resort from July 27th to 29th. It took me some time to write this review in order to fully process my impressions and provide an unbiased account. The property is beautiful and elegant, situated in a somewhat isolated area of Manduria—an environment that offers peace and tranquility, as one would expect from a masseria. Our accommodation was located on the top floor of the castle, accessible solely via stairs. The room was spacious and comfortable; however, the air conditioning unit was somewhat undersized, positioned inside a balcony, which diminished its efficiency and generated more noise than usual. While we did not feel overly hot, guests who prefer a cooler sleeping environment with blankets might find this setup inadequate. The bathroom, though large, was somewhat stuffy and lacked proper ventilation or an exhaust fan. The pool area was lovely, providing a serene setting; however, the bar service appeared quite limited. I attempted to order from the bar once; upon approaching the counter and inquiring about the menu—since none was visibly displayed—I was informed that the bar was closing, and the restaurant as the priority (it was 7:50 PM). While I understand closing times, a more accommodating attitude from the staff—such as showing the menu or offering a drink—would have been appreciated. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was breakfast. The offerings were limited and simplistic, consisting of only basic items. There was no menu, nor were any specialities from the kitchen available, such as scrambled eggs or omelets. Furthermore, considering the resort’s branding as a “Wine Resort,” the wine experience was notably absent: no sparkling wine, no complimentary wine or welcome drink, and surprisingly, no olive oil or focaccia—staples of Puglia’s culinary heritage. Overall, we left with the impression that there was considerable pretense rather than substance, and the value for the price paid was not commensurate. We experienced a sense of superficial elegance that did not fully meet our expectations.

Paragon 700 Boutique Hotel & SPA is a charming boutique hotel located in an 18th-century palace in Ostuni, Puglia. The hotel boasts a carefully curated interior design with elements from around the world, including South African bathtubs and French parquet flooring. Guests can indulge in the earthy underground spa featuring a Himalayan salt grotto and whirlpool, as well as relax by the outdoor pool on a sun-bleached stone terrace.
We had a wonderful night at Paragon 700 in Ostuni with family and were truly impressed. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the poolside, surrounded by such serene and elegant surroundings. The comfort of the rooms was top-notch, and the attention to detail in the decoration throughout the property is remarkable. Every corner tells a story. Thank you to the entire team at Paragon 700 for a memorable and luxurious experience. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for the final part of our two week honeymoon around Italy. The location is lovely and Ostuni is a beautiful town with some lovely places to eat. The hotel however was a little underwhelming. It did not feel special at all. Our room had no windows and felt very damp, and looked different from the photos on the website. We found the staff to be quite rude and un attentive. The pool is lovely but the steps into it are lethal and in the first hour of us being their myself and another guest had slipped on the stairs going into the pool and my husband accidentally smashed a glass whilst trying to catch the other guest. After informing the hotel they simply told us ‘no glass around the pool’ and left us to clear it up. There was still glass on the floor the next morning. The staff didn’t go out of their way at all and the outdoor bar was constantly unattended. The interiors have all been done very cheaply and it looks like they have gone and bulk bought loads of random cheap artwork to sell in the hotel. All in all we wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

We spent our honeymoon at Paragon 700 and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind owner and their staff — their hospitality and attention to detail made us feel instantly at home. We stayed in the Paragon Suite, which was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a private terrace overlooking the pool. One of the highlights was the incredible bathtub built into the floor — it was perfect. I couldn’t recommend the bar at Paragon 700 enough. The cocktails were beautifully presented — a real highlight of our evenings. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning (so fresh and full of variety), and our lunch at the hotel was equally impressive. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we slept so well each night. Everything about our stay felt thoughtfully curated and luxurious, yet warm and welcoming. The location is ideal, as it’s only a few minutes walk away from the centre of the old town of Ostuni. Whilst the hotel restaurant is great, the hotel staff have excellent recommendations and can book you some of the best local spots for dining. Paragon 700 will always hold a special place in our hearts — we’re already dreaming about coming back.

Spectacular hotel and service. We spent four nights exploring Puglia - with Ostuni as our home base. Elegant and warm environment with attentive and friendly staff. Accommodating and helpful during our stay. Beautiful room with highest quality finishes and special touches. Great lighting! The bar (aka lobby) is welcoming and eclectic. We did a cocktail class with Leonardo- fantastic fun. Dinner at the restaurant was creative delicious and memorable. As we were travelling in March we couldn’t enjoy the garden or pool area - but it looked lovely. A really special place.

Paragon 700 is pure magic 💫. I stayed last August, met the incredible owners, & heard their inspiring story of breathing life into a historic gem of Ostuni. Every detail - from the design to the service - feels intentional, soulful, & unforgettable. As a local, I couldn’t be prouder of what these 2 amazing women have created. If you’re in the area, it’s a must. If you’re not, make plans - this is more than a hotel, it’s a moment, a vibe, & an experience you’ll carry with you. I’m already counting down the days until I return this August. Ladies, I will see you & your amazing team, a presto! 🔜🫶🏼

This is NOT a 5 star property. The rooms are tiny and not commensurate with the price charged. They have zero ironing or steaming facilities in the room and those provided by the hotel are charged for at an enormous expense. We were charged over €200 to steam 4 suits as we were guests at a wedding. They also wont tell you they are charging you for this until the end so be careful…! If you decide not to provide basic services and equally do not warn guests in advance, this should be a complimentary service. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms & there is no extraction in any of the bathrooms which as you can imagine is not ideal. Towels with bleach had be left in our room and the hotel later added a charge for damage which we were forced to pay. Beds, pillows & bedding is of a basic standard - it is certainly not luxurious. No full-length mirrors in the hotel rooms. Who doesn’t have a mirror in a hotel room?! Wardrobe space is not sufficient for one person let alone 2. We stayed for 5 nights and had to store all our clothing in our suitcases. As the rooms were so small, it was a daily challenge to constantly move our cases around to try and get what we needed. It was not a comfortable experience. The staff were beyond rude when confronted with these issues. When we challenged the extra charges for laundry and damage that we had no idea of, we were told we had to pay it or they would call the police. Customer service at its best…! This hotel is missing basic amenities that are essential for a comfortable guest experience.
Larry W — Google review
Whilst the hotel itself was beautiful there seemed to be a disconnect between the quality of the hotel and the quality of the owners/ decision makers. I echo many of the complaints on here which leads me to believe the owner isn’t receptive to feedback. There was no full length mirror in the room despite so much space to add one. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, alternatively coffees are priced as €6, which feeds into a broader pattern of the hotel trying to upsell everything, whether that’s charging for parking, selling products in every way possible, from beauty products down to the bedsheets in the room. We would ask for filtered water to be delivered to the room but they would only do this at night time, until then they offfered to sell over priced bottled water only. The breakfast was beyond poor for a hotel of this cost. Patrons are given the choice of a disappointing breakfast (fruit salad, tray cakes and eggs) or you can pay for a premium one. This attitude of opportunism felt everywhere leaves a sour taste in your mouth which spoils the experience. It felt like the message from the owner was if you want it your way, you will be charged for it, if you don’t want to be charged for it, then it’s my way. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and it is a truly unique property, with a great location - with some changes to the way the owner operates, this could be exceptional. Sadly, as it is, I would not return.

Just perfect. Boutique style hotel in the centre of Gallipoli where you feel on holiday right away. Staff is friendly and English speaking, some manage French. We booked the lu asuite and have a beautiful private terrace .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel — everything was excellent! The atmosphere is welcoming and the facilities are well maintained, but what really made the difference was the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, especially Francesca, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Her warmth and professionalism truly made my experience special. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The photos on holiday sites do not do this place justice at all. It’s pure white and clean throughout. It has a balcony to watch the sunset, a little pool to cool down in and is perfectly situated in the centre of the old town for restaurants and the main beach. The rooms are lovely and clean with interesting architecture. The breakfast is simple but perfect and the staff are all extremely happy to help and kind. Very underrated and good value hotel. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I cant emphasize enough how amazing the service was here. The staff were wonderful!! They helped me weeks in advance make reservations, recommend places for me to go, schedule a yoga session in my room. They were responsive and attentive prior to my arrival and went above and beyond when we stayed there. The location was perfect, less than 5 min walk to the center, the rooms were clean, comfortable and very cute. I highly highly recommend staying there. I will definitely return. Thank you all for making my stay just wonderful.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Loved our little terrace with table and chairs outside the room. I haven’t given 5 stars as I always find it disappointing not to have coffee making facilities. Also, no glasses, not the best for having a mini bar beer out of a plastic cup or the tin. I know there is room service, but not the same. However, if that doesn’t bother you, would highly recommend.

We spent 3 nights at this great hotel, it’s really beautiful. Very fresh and clean rooms and a terrace with pool and breakfast was enjoyable. Unfortunately I forgot to capture the room, but it was as nice as the photos! Strongly recommend this one.

I had a necklace stolen from my hotel room while I stayed here last week. I had a little jewelry I placed on a side table in the hotel room. After a wedding I attended, I took off all of my jewelry and placed it in the jewelry box, and the next day left the hotel room without wearing any jewelry since we were on the beach all day. When I returned to the room to get ready for a dinner party, I went to put on my jewelry and noticed that everything was still there except my diamond necklace. The worst part was the treatment I received from the evening shift receptionist, who instead of helping to investigate the situation, told me that what I explained to her was “impossible.” I was shocked to hear that from someone working in hospitality, that the guest being in distress about a missing item was not something she was willing to investigate or amend. She refused to help me, so I ended up filing a police report at the station.

Absolutely loved our stay here! I can't emphasize enough how amazing the front desk staff were. They helped us figure out parking, book dinner reservations, and recommended the best things to do. A perfect place to stay in Lecce. We had a beautiful and comfortable room. The roof top garden was a nice place to relax. Entering and exiting the hotel portal through a small green door was a neat experience. Definitely stay here while visiting the area.

We stayed three nights here in two different rooms. It’s ideally located in Lecce centre and very peaceful. Staff helpful and friendly and rooms interesting. A bit like staying in your grandma’s bedroom 😀. Pillows were very comfy. The rooftop garden was fantastic for an evening drink.

Large rooms in the Pulia style. Breakfast room is very elegant and spacious. Roof terrace is worth a look and a drink if the bar is open.... or take up an ice cream from next door and enjoy the view. Reception isn't open early or late, so checking in might be an issue. Comfortable and a great base to visit Lecce. Mind your head on the entance door... it's OUCH very low.

The bed and breakfast Romantic Trulli B&B offers the guests a charming stay in traditional stone huts. Each of the individually decorated accommodation units comes with air conditioning, a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a terrace or patio. The bed and breakfast is located in the lively central area of Alberobello and is 30 minutes from the sea and 30 km from Fasano Fasanolandia's zoosafari.
Amazing place to stay. Great rooms, location, service and even gave us a gift even though we were for 1 night stay. I can recommend it 100%! It is the best place to stay in Alberobello!

WhatsApp welcome message before arrival to facilitate communication. A warm introduction to the property with a map to navigate the area. The trulli were clean, with beautiful furniture and décor, and we also had a jacuzzi which made our evenings even more enjoyable. Everything came with sparkling wine, coffee, local specialties, and a basic yet generous breakfast (fruits, drinks, dairy products, hams, eggs, etc.). In terms of services: conveniently located parking, daily room cleaning done during breakfast so as not to disturb, and the possibility to enjoy the rooftop terrace. Even a thoughtful small gift from Pierra at the souvenir shop when leaving. Highly recommended stay.

Great location, superb service, yummy daily true Italian breakfast, and a lovely rooftop with the best view in Alberobello. The host/owner is very friendly and lovely. She even gave us a little gift on our departure day. We'll definitely recommend this place to everyone we know and visit again the future. Alberobello holds a very special place in my heart bc that's where I got engaged, but this Romantic Trulli truly is a gem!!

Very nice accommodation, right on the main street of Alberobello. Host offers parking, breakfast nearby. We stayed in Petunia truli and it had 3 double beds and a nice terrace. Apart from a dripping sounds in the room next to the terrace which was annoying at night, it was super clean, well heated, and everything we needed. Terrace offered panoramic view across the city.
Miruna S — Google review
I can't say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. It is the best place to stay in Alberobello hands down. The owner is exceptionally nice and her father helps as well. The rooms are truly an amazing trulli exoerince, especially the romantic trulli rooms which are on a closed off stretch only accessible to people staying there. The reason it's not for other tourists is because it's decorated so nice that people stop and take pictures behind a roped off section. You need to stay here and the breakfast is also great. I highly recommend this place and will stay here when I go back to Puglia.
Mike A — Google review
A great place to stay. Lovely breakfast that you pre-order. Nice sunny courtyard and approach to sit and enjoy which is chained off from non-residents, many who stop and take photos. Also a roof patio area with chairs above the breakfast room.

Our stay at Romantic Trulli was an amazing experience. Our suite was beautiful, clean and definitely romantically decorated, # 49. Our room was in a courtyard which was one of the most photographed places in Alberobello. A nice breakfast was served every morning in a room in the courtyard. We also enjoyed the beautiful view from the rooftop deck. Romantic Trulli has a perfect location for walking all around this most charming town. There is no question that we would stay here again and would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Alberobello.

Dilman - Luxury Stay is a chic and modern hotel located in the bustling center of Bari. The elegant rooms feature stylish white-on-white decor, some with private terraces and spacious baths for a luxurious experience. Ideal for couples or business travelers, the hotel offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, breakfast options, and dry cleaning services.
The staff is absolutely the kindest most welcoming hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. They are incredible and you can tell they truly are passionate about sharing what they love about Bari. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms and showers are big by Italian standards. Everything is modern and new-and they will be happy to explain how everything works if you need help. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the sea or Old Town Bari and there a a ton of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very close to the train station as well.

service was exceptional in every way. My room was well appointed and had a covered balcony, so nice for wine time. The location was convenient. We liked everything about our stay at the Dilman. also affordable.

If you are staying in Bari, and money isn’t an issue, this is unequivocally the place to stay. Incredible location just a few blocks from Old Town without actually being in it. Very friendly/helpful service from recommending things to do to holding luggage etc. Rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean, and have nice features (e.g., ours had a full balcony with a table & chairs, hot tub in the room). Hotel restaurant is a really cool vibe with good food/drinks mostly populated with Bari locals stopping by for a coffee/drink break. Two small negatives would be 1) The walls are a bit thin/rooms are close together so you can hear much of what is said next door but is kind of expected in a cramped city like Bari 2) Would be nice if the showers had a nook/shelf to put soap on

A short stroll into the town centre. rooms are simple and small, but modern and clean. Staff were friendly and informed, they were very helpful throughout our stay when needed. It was great to use the sauna and we had it to ourselves. The rooftop wasn’t great, the pool is very small and is more of a dipping pool rather than anything else and the pigeons make it off putting, so I wouldn’t really count that amenity.

Elegant palazzo without any full time staff- noisy part of Lecce- with traffic and people loudly loitering outside- rooms very small- parking horrendous- at least on weekend with no baggage help. I anticipated an entirely different experience based on reviews.

We stayed at this hotel in Italy for four nights, following the recommendations of the Michelin guide. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quality of the welcome, the kindness of the staff, and the impeccable professionalism of this establishment. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed flawless service: the staff were not only friendly and respectful but also incredibly accommodating. A remarkable example of their dedication occurred on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant where we had originally booked encountered a last-minute technical issue, but the hotel team took care of everything and found us an exceptional solution, allowing us to enjoy the evening in the best possible conditions. The breakfast was simply perfect—rich, varied, and served with a smile. In fact, that smile was ever-present during our entire stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, which truly deserves even more recognition for the quality of its services and the care it provides to its guests. It was a flawless experience, and we will not hesitate to return on our next trip to Italy.

Great boutique hotel in an amazing location. We stayed here for two nights with another couple. The rooms are all unique and very well appointed. They are large with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was large and very nice. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection. All in all it was fabulous. My only complaint would be the lack of air-conditioning. Apparently in the spring, it does not work. They don't turn it on till May. That could be a thing in Italy, I'm not sure but our other hotels didn't have this issue. The problem was that it was quite humid in the room so it would have been nice to put the AC on for a little bit to get rid of it. But otherwise everything was great.

My husband and I travel a lot and travelled a fair bit in Italy before arriving at Palazzo De Noha. Every single staff member and the service at this hotel is why it is so special. Special mention to Francesco for making our stay absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated and tastefully designed from the rooms, to the rooftop bar/pool area. The owners clearly take pride in their hotel and you can feel this from the moment you walk in. Delicious breakfast variety and freshly baked cakes and biscuits - they're absolutely perfect. Excellent location for exploring Lecce in the middle of the old town. Book it - you will not regret it.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are super friendly and informative. The quality of everything was top notch including breakfast. We were a little disappointed with the top terrace and pool area, it’s very beautiful but not very practical. The bean bags look great but are uncomfortable and the sun loungers do not come up to a sitting position, they’re was very little shade. Top Tip Our room 10/11 was lovely but has no opening windows, if we visited again we would book a room on the first floor.

Palazzo De Noha is a fantastic little hotel in the historic center of Lecce, Italy; worthy of the Michelin key. The property was immaculately decorated and as clean as an operating room. Breakfast had a nice spread. The bathroom and shower were spacious with great water pressure and the rooms were beautiful —- never had the sheets tucked so tightly. The minibar was complementary and replaced daily. Of all the great things, the stand out feature was the staff… everyone was exceptional… friendly, helpful, curious… simply above and beyond. One of the staff even helped me make a dinner reservation in another city, after checkout. I highly recommended to anyone staying in Lecce.

We were fortunate to be able to spend 3 nights at Palazzo De NoHa and they were an outstanding capstone to our visit to Southern Italy. The facility is a remarkable reuse of an older building. Our junior suite had a large bathroom, sitting area in the room as well as private seating on a terrace. But the best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make sure that our visit fulfilled our expectations. From the breakfast staff to the front desk, we felt more like family. If we are able to return to Lecce, there is no question where we will stay.

This masseria exceeded all expectations. The service, the room and the food was the most exceptional 3 days of our 2 weeks in Puglia. Very good location, not far off the beaten path (as some masserias can be). We barley left the grounds during our stay, and when we ventured out we couldn't wait to get back. We ate dinner here every night and all meals were exceptional, making it a very memorable 25th. Would stay here again!

Extremely disappointing experience. I made a reservation but was never informed that my booking was at risk because I had not shared my credit card details. I was on the phone but did not understand the urgency of providing this information, and I never received any clear communication from the restaurant that my reservation would be in jeopardy. Due to the lack of follow-up and proper explanation, my table was given away to someone else. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere if you expect clear communication and professionalism. A frustrating and avoidable experience!!!!!

We had a family birthday dinner here during the trip and the team was wonderful. The concierge was so helpful with my many emails and questions, including setting up birthday treats and a special meal for a member of the party who can only eat pureed food. Upon arrival, we were greeted as warmly as we ever had been at a restaurant. The space was stunningly beautiful. We sat at our table and Mimmo was so incredibly gracious in greeting the birthday girls and helping us choose what to eat. All 8 of us (ages 32-70) agreed it was in the top two meals of our lives! Everything was so delicious and special. We ended our meal with an amazing Mille Fuille cake they’d help us arrange with firework candles in it and the whole restaurant singing, the specialness of which brought birth of the birthday celebrators to tears. We truly wish we could come back everyday! Thank you so much for crafting such a special evening for us!

For our Wedding we bought out the whole hotel for 3-nights, and it was the most incredible weekend of our lives! The service, the food, the accommodation, the luxury aesthetic, the grounds, everything was truly phenomenal from start to finish. Elena and her events team were super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They were also very accommodating with all our requests, especially allowing us to have 50 (vs min 70 guests). They also recommended our planner Giusy D’Ambrosio, who was absolutely brilliant. Between Elena and Giusy I was in excellent hands! Our guests keep raving about how incredible the food was - it is no surprise they received in a Michelin badge this year. I've been to Puglia 5x and haven't eaten as well as I have than in Calderisi. And there are so many areas on the estate that you can optimise for different events across the weekend. Your wedding guest will be taken on a journey from the olive grove, the aperoterrace, the piazza, the beach club etc. My only constructive feedback is there were unforeseen costs along the way that I wish the events team were more forthright with. And I would suggest to have your planner for the full buy-out period, not just the wedding day itself, to run a tight ship and audit your f&b packages. Ultimately though, if you are planning a wedding in Puglia, you couldn't pick a more perfect venue. You can tell that so much thought, love, and detail has gone into every aspect of the Masseria. B&B Casa Dorsi is a charming bed and breakfast located in Polignano a Mare, offering cozy rooms and suites with stunning sea views. Housed in a historic stone building, the B&B provides a peaceful getaway with its antique-furnished rooms featuring tile floors. Guests can enjoy the rooftop terrazza for relaxation or private calls while savoring generous and delicious breakfast offerings, including excellent cappuccino.
B&B Casa Dorsi, Polignano a Mare There are so many positives about B&B Casa Dorsi that it's hard to know where to start: The location is fantastic! You're right in the heart of the old town, just 250 meters from most of the must-visit spots, and only a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach. The room was very well-appointed with a great view from the rooftop terrace. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, with both sweet and savory options - I highly recommend the cherry tomatoes. The experience was made complete by the owners, who were helpful, polite, and very welcoming. Casa Dorsi is a place that allows you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, complementing the beauty of Polignano a Mare. Highly recommended!

Casa Dorsi is a true gem. Perfectly located and steps from iconic locations and restaurants, well-appointed rooms and very comfortable, and an incredible breakfast. The view from the room is magical, as is the history of the property. The owners are very kind, even helping us make our way out of the city quickly to make our tour. We had a magical stay and highly recommend Casa Dorsi!

Stayed here during our honeymoon. Beautiful location, very nice service, cozy and cute rooms. Carlo is an amazing host and chef. 10/10 will return. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the old town of Polignano a Mare: stay here.

We had 7 nights at Casa Dorsi on the ground floor. Super convenient and easy to get around. Breakfast choice was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for Sandy beaches, there are a couple a bit out of town but a car is a good option. Casa Dorsi offers car parking outside the centre of town. Polignano a Mare is a must stop if going to Puglia. Other places to go are Lecce, Alberobello (Trulli Houses), Ostuni and if time permits, Matera. Angie & Mikki

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment of Casa Dorsi on the first floor. The room is really nice and it has everything you need. It is extremely easy to communicate with Carlo who speaks very well English. The best part about Casa Dorsi is its location. The front door is right in the middle of a pittoresk street of the old town which ends with ocean view. You will see that many people stop here just to make a picture of the beautiful street. Here is also where the breakfast is served, giving you a great start of your day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Dorsi. We stayed in the Suite Acqua, so we we had a direct view of the sea from our room. This felt very special given lots of visitors flock to this viewpoint in Polignano. Our rooftop had a shaded terrace and comfortable lounges so we were able to relax up there for hours. The Apuglian breakfast was also excellent and we couldn’t get enough of the fresh stracciatella cheese! Carlo, our host, provided restaurant recommendations and offered to book a boat tour of the nearby caves for us. Carlo’s clear communication allowed for a seamless self check in, and we were allowed to leave our bags once we checked out, as we weren’t travelling until later in the day. Casa Dorsi is exactly what you want in a bed and breakfast. Highly recommend.

Peace and heaven in the centre of Polignano If you want to spend an “extra”ordinary stay in a magical location chose Casa Dorsi and you won’t be disappointed. Rooms have all the amenities that you need and very comfortable beds. Carlo, the owner, prepares you a typical pugliese breakfast and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure you spend a pleasant stay. We will definitively come back!

My partner (now fiancee) and I had a truly perfect stay at Casa Dorsi. I can't recommend the B&B enough. Carlo showed us amazing hospitality from the moment we arrived, picking us up from the airport, before arranging a beautiful tuk-tuk to take us from the arches in the town centre to the doorstep of our balcony. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, the apartment was clean, spacious, and modern - even better than the pictures! It is also perfectly located in Polignano a Mare. Breakfasts every morning were fresh, super tasty (perfect pastries) and were enjoyed on tables outside of the B&B with a fantastic view of the town. Carlo was always on hand to give us recommendations, whether booking us tables at the best restaurants in town (he is very well connected) or recommending things to do across the city. We had a truly magical stay, and will definitely be returning to what is now a special location for us! Highly highly recommend, thank you so much Carlo!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, from the beginning we were warmly welcomed, large room with a large bed. Great breakfast, close to the main station and the old town. I highly recommend it

We needed to stay the night in Bari and this was the perfect place! The staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was a smooth process; someone was there to help us and they gave us recommendations and a map as a guide for places to eat. The location was close to everything, only a short walk to the old town and waterside. The room was very spacious and clean. They offer breakfast in the morning.

This is an wonderful B&B in Bari! Rooms are huge and modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. We arrived in Bari late--after the reception was closed and after about 24 hours of travel from the states. But thanks to the excellent communication from Claudia in advance, our self-check-in was no problem. Location is wonderful, a nice walk to central Bari but there are abundance of cafes and restaurants nearby. Claudia also helped me find a repair shop when my phone accidentally got wet and stopped working, and she arranged a car transfer to Alberobello. Highly recommend!

Almost 10 out of 10! Finally a B&B with high standards of hospitality and a really good breakfast. The lady of the house understands her work. Took time to tell us all about Bari, where to have dinner and hotspots. The are super clean with nice airco. The only thing can be better are the beds (matras); they are really soft. But we were sooooo pleased with the fact that the served scrambled eggs with breakfast; all fresh 🤩

What a great place where to stay! We really enjoyed the stay, the room located at the 4th floor was spacious and cozy. The last floor is not served by the elevator. The bathroom is also very spacious, you can find soap/hairdryer etc. Breakfast simple but nicely served, with Antonella who takes care of the guests! Delicious homemade omelette. During summer you can also enjoy your breakfast sitting in the beautiful terrace! Highly recommend, located in the very city center and with easy access to parking (15€ for 24h)

Guests can enjoy the rooftop terrace with swoon-worthy design elements that include natural materials. The friendly staff, particularly host Antonio, provides exceptional service and valuable insights on things to do in Bari.
Definitely the best place we have stayed at. Breakfast is really really good, good quality en lots of variety. Everyday you can choose what you want for breakfast. The list to choose from contains a great amount of variety in products. So you can have a great filling breakfast without unnecessarily wasting food. The host Antonio is clear and friendly in communication. When we arrived he gave us a lot of good recommendations. A part of our luggage didn’t come with the plane and needed to be brought later but Antonio was really helpful and wanted to help as good as possible, which was really nice. So if you want to stay in Bari this is the place to go to.

Exceptional on all counts. Antonio was the perfect host and provided everything you could possibly need while staying at the property. The location in the old city is perfect for sightseeing. It is also an easy walk to the train station for further exploration around Puglia. We couldn’t imagine staying elsewhere if given the opportunity to return to Bari.

We only had the chance to stay for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Antonio, the receptionist, provided exceptional service and was extremely helpful in every way, making our brief stay truly memorable. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to everything. The breakfast was delicious, and the terrace was beautiful. Everything was spotless, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bari.

We stayed for four nights and rented two rooms, both of which were very comfortable and each had its own private bathroom. With individual air conditioning, the rooms provided a calm haven from the extreme heat outside. Antonio is a very attentive host, supplying all the necessary items for a comfortable stay, including towels, a Nespresso machine for coffee at any time, and complimentary water and soda. The breakfast was a delicious selection of fresh bakery, cheeses, meats, yogurts, and fruit to be enjoyed on the rooftop. The location is also perfect. It is situated at the edge of the Castle Normanno Svevo and is easily accessible to major roads. The piazza right outside the door is perfect for enjoying evening gelato and people-watching. Additionally, the old arches of the town are just steps away, where you can stroll and watch women making their famous orecchiette pasta.

Such a lovely place next to Arco Basso! This B&B provides everything you need: a delicious breakfast on the rooftop, very clean rooms, a small kitchenette with complimentary water, coffee and soft drinks, towels for the beach and most importantly, Antonio is a wonderful host. A delightful property in the heart of the old city. Directly at the beginning of the street where table after table of hand made Orecchiette are offered for sale. Great location, easy access by car, and just 2 minutes walk from the historical center. Front of you the hotel is a big parking place, but just for local citizens! We dropped the luggages front of the hotel and drive to the Parcheggio Saba Porto garage. We left the car here. (700 meter, and I payed 12 euro / 20 hours) The room pretty and absolutely clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast room very designed, the breakfast was quality. Wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and in a simple but elegant style. Martino is very friendly, always available to give advice on what to do in Bari or which places you should not miss on your trip to Matera. What a wonderful find in Old Bari! The hotel is great, with very comfortable rooms, good size bathroom with excellent quality towels. Very clean with excellent housekeeping daily. One of the best breakfasts we've had in any hotel of all star ratings! It's served family style around a large table, with wonderful local products, such as burrata, prosciutto, fresh fruit and much more. Martino the manager is extremely hospitable and very knowledgeable, giving great recommendations for both sightseeing & local restaurants. We booked a room with a balcony and we would definitely recommend one of these...an espresso in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening on the terrace is delightful. Great location within walking distance to all of the key sights.

We had an excellent stay here for a long weekend in November 2019. The room was very good with excellent beds, very nice setup of the bathroom with a modern shower, toilet and bidet. The safe was a bit cumbersome, and the fridge was half full with drinks you could buy. Luckily you were able to store other items there as well. Room was equipped with both water and wine glasses. There where also a coffee maker so you had the opportunity to make coffee. Good quality to be from a capsule. The breakfast was very good. Missing orange juice the last day and I only missing bacon. But the breakfast was not with warm food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room and property was very clean. Just great maintenance. We had a renting car and parked in a nearby parking garage. Only 8 EUR a day

Nina Trulli Resort is an elegant rural hotel offering a range of activities such as natural treatments, massages, yoga, and cookery courses. The rooms are located in trulli and old stables, featuring natural woods and fabrics, local ceramics, and artworks from surrounding villages. The on-site restaurant serves authentic Puglian cuisine using produce from the garden and orchard.
We spent 4 nights in this oasis. We were surprised at the location coz it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. But exactly that was the charm of the place. It was isolated yet close to many touristy destinations like Monopoli, Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo etc. We did day trips and were glad to be back in the afternoons to rest and enjoy the farm to plate lunches and then the pool. The tranquility of the place is very relaxing. Loved the trullis, unique to the region with very modern interiors. The service was impeccable. Because it’s comprised of just 7 trullis, everything seemed to have a personal touch. Breakfast made to order in the courtyard was simply great. The staff was very friendly and warm attending to all our needs. A perfect place in Apulia.

All the staff were so lovely, in particular Maria Antonietta, Katia, Alessia Lorenzo and Domenico. The trulli houses are spacious and very clean. The lunch menu by the pool is fantastic as well as the bar menu poolside. This is a must for anyone who wants to relax! A Perfect Blend of Hospitality, Cuisine, and Authentic Beauty We had an unforgettable stay at Nina Trulli in Puglia, Italy, thanks to the incredible team who made every moment special. Antonio was amazing from the moment we arrived and was instrumental in making sure our stay was exceptional. His thoughtful suggestions and attentive personal care elevated the entire experience. At reception, the two Marys also welcomed us warmly and were always helpful with bookings and questions. Francesca, the manager, ensured everything ran seamlessly with great professionalism, while Nino kept the property perfectly maintained. The culinary experiences were extraordinary. Madia was truly outstanding—her breakfasts were exceptional, and the cooking class she led was one of the most memorable highlights of our visit. Her talent, warmth, and passion for food shone through every interaction. Katia prepared delicious lunches each day, and her personable and kind nature made every meal feel special. Angelo, together with the kitchen team, created excellent dinners that celebrated authentic local flavors. We were also guided by two wonderful sommeliers. Francesco introduced us to amazing wines throughout our stay with expertise and enthusiasm, while Lorenzo shared his deep knowledge of regional pairings with equal care. Service in the dining room was equally remarkable. Domenico, the head waiter, led with professionalism, while Francesco (also serving at table), Teresa, and the rest of the team provided attentive, warm, and friendly service. Beyond the hospitality, the property itself was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Nina Trulli in Puglia invoked immediate relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed with authentic charm that felt both unique and comfortable. Evenings by the pool at sunset were simply unforgettable, creating the perfect setting for an already spectacular experience. This was an extraordinary stay we will never forget, and we are already looking forward to returning to Nina Trulli as soon as possible.

I don't understand how this is not a 5 star hotel. The amenities, the rooms, the staff, the food, the service - it was spectacular! The only problem was that we did not have enough time there. 1 night was simply not enough. As a group, we organised the private dinner and were extremely well cared for. A great place, and perfectly located to town (if you have a car, this is a must) and enjoy being out of the hustle and bustle like we do.

This truly is a gem of a hotel. The rooms and grounds are arrestingly beautiful and serene. The wine, food and the experiences offered are of the highest quality and lovingly curated. It speaks volumes for the fact that I‘m not deducting a star for the obscene prices of the à la carte breakfast items (not even the more extravagant places I‘ve stayed in could justify €9 for ONE poached egg!!), which endeared the place a little less to me but will not stop me from returning.

Palazzo Daniele is a refined hotel housed in a 19th-century palace located in Gagliano del Capo, at the tip of Italy's heel. The property offers various amenities including a seasonal outdoor pool, garden, communal lounge, and a restaurant. Guests can also enjoy the sauna and free WiFi throughout the premises.
We had a lovely stay last week at Palazzo Daniele with my girlfriend. The property is beautiful, and the team is both professional and friendly, striking a perfect balance between casual and attentive service. Since we both work in the luxury hotel industry, we were intrigued when we heard about Palazzo Daniele and knew we had to experience it for ourselves. The open kitchen, where you can wander in and out freely, along with the option to have meals organized in different locations around the property, truly enhances the feeling of a home away from home. The honesty bar is also a delightful touch. The food is fresh and delicious, with local butchers and fishermen regularly supplying produce. The property places a strong emphasis on sustainability, featuring eco-friendly products, natural fiber bed linens, and bath towels. The design is, of course, stunning—the minimalist approach really highlights the natural beauty of the property. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend engaging with the staff. Not only are they incredibly nice, but the better they get to know you, the more they can do to make your stay as memorable as possible! Since we only stayed one night, there weren’t many things we felt could be improved. However, a welcome amenity in the room upon arrival would be a lovely gesture. A handwritten card, along with some cold refreshments and fruit, would go a long way. Additionally, with no minibar in the room, having a fridge with access to cold water once the staff has gone home would be a nice touch. A big thank you to the team, especially Riccardo and Henry! We hope to return next time.

The hotel is an ancient family home transformed in hotel. We stayed there but found it lacking and way overpriced. The town is not your picturesque puglian town. It’s a rather non-descript small village. While the palazzo pretends to be the main attraction it lacks in ambiance - they claim it is minimalist but it’s rather bare- and structure for the price they charge. There’s no gym - if I’d be interested and no other amenities and the pool is cold. The food is not spectacular but overpriced. Breakfast costs 40 euros per person (way way out of range even for hotels of this category) and lunch is a scant pasta plus salad and you pay 90+ euros (the food in the village in the tip of the boot is way way better and half the price). Because of their we decided to leave early and they did not respect the modified reservation made thru Marriott. They were not full so it would make no difference unless the purpose was to keep our money. Do NOT recommend it.

Palazzo Daniel is a generational family home converted into “hotel”. It has large rooms with minimal air conditioning and a widow for a tv. The canvas sheets and towels seem to be the same as the grandparents used to use 20 year’s ago. They are rough and tough. The kitchen is open with a friendly staff. When dinning be sure to leave extra time and enjoy the 15-20 minute waits to get a menu, order, and a bill. The food is good but watch out for the burnt cappacinos milk.
Hayden A — Google review
I paid premium rates for a room at Palazzo Daniele expecting the bathroom shown in the listing. The photos and description were misleading: the actual bathroom is completely different, with the shower located down a flight of stairs in a separate room — something never disclosed in the booking. To make matters worse, there are no photos of this type of bathroom on the hotel’s own website either, so there was no way for me to anticipate what I was actually booking. The bathroom we received was reminiscent of a U.S. roadside motel, with the level of cleanliness, the poor appearance, and harsh, scary lighting that made it feel like a dingy basement. The hotel even admitted the photos online were wrong (blaming a booking partner), yet refused to offer any fair resolution. Sadly, the problems didn’t stop there. The room itself had multiple issues: • Electrical problems and lights not working properly • Incorrect WiFi information provided at check-in • Dirty floors with a visible layer of dust that transferred onto our luggage, shoes, and feet • No luggage stands provided (I later requested them and was only given three for five pieces of luggage) What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of management response. Despite raising these issues during my stay, no manager ever came to speak with me, apologize, or attempt to remedy the situation. I saw the manager several times on the property, but they avoided me entirely — never acknowledging me or addressing the concerns. When the booking platform contacted the hotel on my behalf, the manager still refused to do anything. At this price point, the bare minimum expectation is attentive service and accountability when things go wrong. Instead, I received misrepresentation, a poorly maintained room, and dismissive treatment. Until this hotel corrects its listings, fixes basic maintenance and cleanliness, and trains management to actually respond to guests, I would strongly caution others against booking here. All such a shame because the property is pretty and the surrounding town has a charm I would have normally enjoyed.

Be very careful when booking this hotel! We were going to book one of their suites and the price was $2330 for 4 nights. We called to ask if they had a 2nd one available and they said yes and they will email us the details. When they emailed us the details, the raised the price of the suite by 1,000 EUR! Then tried to tell us well this is just automated by the system. I have never heard of such a thing. The time difference between us calling and the price going up was 2 hours. So it just happened that in those 2 hours the price magically went up 1,000 EUR once they knew we wanted to book 2 rooms. The person's name we spoke to was Stefano and I'm almost certain he raised the prices on the site to squeeze more money from us.

We stayed here 9 days in September. We have enjoyed it very much. The rooms are big, cosy and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentative. The breakfast is typically Italian (sweet). There is only street parking but that was never a problem. The hotel is in the very heart of Poggiardo, although there is not much to do there (my humble opinion). But it's a good central location for daily trips to both coasts or Lecce.

When unpacking you can stay upfront of the hotel for 30 minutes and then you can move it one street further for free parking (enough parking spaces available, so no 30 minutes drive to find a spot). The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They walk you to the room and show you around.(elevator available) Superb rooms, not overly luxurious, but they feel authentic and have everything you would need. The shower is perfect, the beds are great, airco units do their job well. A small fridge (cheap drinks) and a safe are available in the room. The double room is very spacious. The only thing missing maybe is a tv, but personally I did not care at all. Only minor downside is some noise when a car is passing by, but that really is just a very minor thingy. Very highly recommended!!

Great hotel to stay and check out the lower portion of Puglia. Breakfast was amazing, good pool, and the 2 rooms with roof access made for a great stay.

We loved our stay at this beautiful Palazzo with its stylish interiors & original frescoes. There is a great bar for a spritz overlooking the town square . The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the courtyard with excellent fresh local produce . It’s a calm relaxing haven close to lovely beaches & historic towns.

A hidden gem in Puglia! This is a lovely hotel; well decorated with a unique and characterful edge, a lovely relaxing pool, nice breakfast and great location. Poggiardo is a great choice for a authentic experience of Puglia. Would recommend having a car to reach the hotel and for exploring nearby areas. We loved our time here!

Rooms really spacious and clean. Staff extremely polite and friendly in particular Davina (hope I'm spelling her name correctly) from reception. She really helped us out in recommending which cities to visit, which restaurants to dine at and also booked for us a place at the Lido in Torre Pali and a boat trip in Castro! Antonio who took care care of breakfast was also really nice and courteous whilst offering a great selection of cold cuts, cheeses, cornetto & pasticciotto and fruit amongst others. Really recommend!

Uniquely beautiful place with a friendly team that made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is above average with lots of regional products. Also it is vegan and vegetarian friendly. The hotel is well situated to explore both the east and west coast and all the marvelous beaches it has to offer.

Nestled in the charming countryside of Cutrofiano, Critabianca is a luxurious bed and breakfast that beautifully embodies the essence of Southern Puglia. This enchanting retreat is steeped in history, having once served as a summer residence for affluent families during the Bourbon era before transforming into a tobacco farm in the 19th century. Today, it offers six authentic rooms adorned with elegant decor that harmonizes white lime-plastered walls with soft local ceramic hues.
Critabianca is so beautiful and serene, and the service is impeccable. The Ghione family and incredible chef Moussa are so friendly and kind, and create such relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is served on white table cloths surrounded by lemon trees with everything fresh and local. It’s perfect!

We came to Italy for three weeks for our honeymoon, and stayed 4 nights at Critabianca, and it was without a doubt the best stay in our entire time in Italy. The hospitality of the Ghione family is incomparable, from the booking by email months before to the actual stay, you can tell they love what they are doing. They were so kind, so helpful and made our stay magical. They helped book activities and restaurants when needed and made sure we had a marvelous experience each time. The place itself is absolutely lovely, minimalistic decorations yet with everything you might need and so elegant. It helps to relax to be in this kind of environment. The food, whether it be breakfast or dinner, was so good and an experience in itself. Moussa puts so much energy, love and passion in his cuisine. Every morning we could not wait to discover the cake of the day Moussa made (favorite one was almond and banana!). The dinner experience is definitely a must do, very peaceful in the garden and so good! On our first day we indicated that my husband had not yet tried a Pana Cotta during our stay in Italy even though it was his favorite desert, and the day we decided to stay at the hotel for diner, they made a Pana Cotta especially for him and it was delicious. To Roberta, Nicoletta, Alessandro, Roberto and Moussa: thank you so much for this dreamy stay, we had a magical time and will think about it for many years to come. If we ever come back to Puglia, we will definitely come back at Critabianca. With fond thoughts, Jules & Audrey.

One of the most magical places that we’ve ever visited. From the moment we arrived, Nicoletta, Roberta, Roberto and Moussa couldn’t have been more welcoming. Nicoletta was so lovely and helpful in helping us to arrange our stay in the first place. The house, gardens and grounds are absolutely stunning - an incredible renovation project and the decor is just perfect (we would like Roberta to do the interior design for our new home!). Roberto is a wonderful person and down to earth host, who took the time to share his tips and advice on places to visit, things to do and the best ice cream to eat in the area! Both breakfast and dinner were out of this world as well - Moussa is an incredibly talented chef, who explained his menus and creations with such care and attention (and even shared the recipes with us for some of our favourites!). Genuinely one of the best breakfasts that we’ve ever had! We could write so much more, but for now we are trying to work out when we can find an excuse to visit again! Not just an incredibly special place, but a truly lovely family. We hope to see you all again very soon! Sarah & Flo

A romantic, masseria with impeccable service and a family touch! Their breakfast is one of the most unique experiences I’ve had! Thank you to Alessandro and his whole family for having us.

This is the most beautiful hotel. The decor, the design, the rooms, the food, it was all amazing. But not only that, the owners made the stay even better. They greet you and take you in as if you were part of the family. Roberto and Roberta are the sweetest hosts ever. We also booked the cooking lesson for 2 with Moussa, he is the best, he explained everything thoroughly and patiently. Then we got to eat our food, it was delicious! We have told our family, friends, and everyone we know what a great place this is to visit. We would 11/10 recommend this hotel !

Amazing experience , amazing hosting family, amazing hotel , actually it is much more than a hotel, it is fully natural, professionally managed ‘home’ , perfect management, perfect rooms, perfect ambience, ultra friendly managing Italian family (Ghione family), you will find far more than what you expect, hardest part will be to leaving the hotel, amazing breakfast, I really don’t know how to express my feelings about this hotel. We stayed there 5 nights with my husband and definitely we will go back next summer. For me, as a hotel owner since 10 years, Critabianca is one of the best hotel in the world with all the details from A to Z. Just go there and relax !!!!!

Critabianca deserves more than 5 stars. The hospitality that we received from the Ghione family is one that can only be provided from love and passion for what they do. It's an experience on its own, like staying at a friend's home. This stay was by far the best on our trip, and set the bar so high that no other accommodation was able to come close. Everything detail from the warm welcome, the most amazing breakfasts, the decor, well manicured grounds and comfortable rooms are all well thought out and perfectly executed. My wife and I still miss the cookies, brioche and focaccia made by Roberto every morning. Please do not miss out on the dinners. Some of the best we had on our stay. Moussa is an amazing chef and everything is always made fresh with local ingredients. We will definitely be visiting again!

Incredible atmosphere and hospitality in a wonderful masseria Masseria Critabianca has been a wonderful surprise from the very moment of our arrival. Roberta, Nicoletta, Roberto, Alessandro and Musa have been welcoming us as soon as we entered the gate of this wonderfully renovated ancient masseria in the very heart of Salento, Apulia. The building dates back to the 13th Century and has been totally restored with simplicity and very good taste. The location is wonderful, but the welcoming atmosphere, the food and the friendly hospitality of the whole family are just incredible. The dinner was great and the breakfast ... breathtaking for diversity and quality of fresh produce and ingredients. A truly unforgettable experience and all our compliments to the Ghione Family and the super gentle and always available Musa! Roberto & Valeria Olivo

Nestled just 15 minutes from the vibrant heart of Lecce, Masseria Trapanà is a stunning retreat set within a beautifully restored 1500s mansion. This charming oasis invites you to explore its expansive courtyard and elegant vaulted lobby, where plush sofas and an array of coffee-table books beckon you to unwind. The decor strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication, featuring four-poster beds crafted from wrought iron and soothing neutral tones that highlight local craftsmanship.
This is best hotel I have ever stayed in. The restoration of the building, the design and attention to detail and the gardens are exceptional. You never want to leave the grounds, even though there is much to see and do in Puglia.

The most enjoyable part of our trip South was our time at Trapana. Morning coffee in the main house with Rosie keeping me company was priceless. Elegantly crafted , attention to details & the laid back vibe made for a memorable visit. We cannot wait to return. Thank you Rob & Gabrielle for everything. 💕

This is one of the most stunning and special places I’ve had the pleasure to stay at in Puglia. It was a dream. The entire structure, the grounds, the room and decor all over were exceptional. The room was spacious and had all amenities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and the underground cave pool is so relaxing! There’s lots of beautiful fruit trees and nature around. It’s apparent that a lot of hard work and love went into restoration to make it what it is. Everything is done so well and feels like there’s a touch of modern with rustic, getting a sense of going back to a different time. Even the music that was playing around the grounds was a great touch. Rob, Nabil, Gabriele and all the rest of the staff are superb, making the place warm and inviting. They embody the true essence of hospitality by taking the time to have conversations with guests, to bringing guests together with a rooftop sunset and a pizza party which we really appreciated. Having stayed in many different hotels around the world this is something that’s difficult to find. We loved our stay and wished we could have been there longer, but cannot wait to return!

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Just book it, don’t bother reading the rest of the reviews- they are all good as it is unbelievably amazing. Rob (the owner) has created heaven on earth and we got to share in it for the past couple of days. Where do I start? Upon entering Masseria Trapana you are immediately greeted by the warm and friendly staff with a refreshment drink. We met Rob straight away (and Rosie one of the beautiful & friendly resident cats). Rob and Rosie took us on a tour of the masseria whilst our room was prepared. The entire tour my partner and I kept turning to one another and both our jaws were on the floor. The architecture and design of the masseria was absolutely gorgeous. The food was some of the best we’ve had so far on our Italian trip, the best in Puglia and the service was second to none. The detail that has gone into Masseria Trapana is beyond impressive, everything is smooth, well thought out from the service to the finishes. We were devastated to leave Masseria Trapana which truly felt like our home in Italy. We cannot wait to return and will be sending all of our family and friends in the meantime. Thank you Rob and the team! And if you’re still reading, for heaven’s sake, just book it and thank us later!

Run don’t walk to this masseria. The vibe/energy is unmatched. it’s truly a relaxing heaven of happiness. The staff is lovely, accommodating and kind. The food is awesome! The small number of rooms make it personal, but also private and the grounds balance activity (croquet, spa, gym) with also pure relaxation (fire pit, pool, hammocks drinks). We look forward to returning.

An oasis and great base from which to explore Puglia, and great to come back to after a long day out and about. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I've come across anywhere... and there is absolutely no risk dining in and making the most of the excellent wine list. Very comfortable rooms and just as per the photos. I used the bikes comprehensively for rides through the surrounding olive groves and out to the coast and past ruins and various mysterious stone buildings of yore. Will see if I can add some photos....

Incredible place. The attention to detail with the restoration is outstanding. The room was fantastic, the gardens are beautiful, the surrounding landscape is wonderful. We ate here 3 or 4 evenings and had great food every time. Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic. The warmth and friendliness of everyone was great. Can't say enough good things. We'll be back.

Mercantile Suites - Bari Vecchia offers two charming self-catering apartments located in the heart of Bari's Old Town, providing stunning views of the marina. Guests can enjoy a stay characterized by independence and classic Italian elegance, with beautiful period features such as antique furnishings and hardwood floors. The minimalist yet stylish decor complements the breathtaking sea vistas, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a unique and picturesque accommodation experience.
Based on the description we believed we were booking the apartment with the terrace and kitchen. It turned out we did not book that one. Based on other reviews, which we read too late, many other pleople got it wrong too. I guess the description is not clear. Not saying that they purposely wrote a misleading description, but apparently they know about people getting it wrong and don't correct it. We stayed in the Duplex, no terrace and no kitchen. Definitely beautiful location in the old town, in a historic building with charming finishes. Daniela was very nice to deal and easy to communicate with. Not sure the Duplex is worth the price though. Had it had terrace and kitchen it would have been worth it and I'd recommend it. Aside from the disappointment of not having terrace or kitchen, we were disappointed to realize the windows are not sealed. In the dectription they are presented as "soundproof" but they are not. I guess they are referring to the fact that they are double pane windows. However, the frame does not seal shut. For example, there is a half centimeter gap at the bottom between the window frame and the floor. I'm aware that replacing windows in historic buildings is expensive. However, the location is on a main piazza and there is constant loud activity from 6.30am until past midnight. Hopefully fully booked back to back occupancy will allow to invest in new window frames to improve guests sleeping comfort.
