Brewpub
Dick Mack's Pub, located in the heart of Dingle, County Kerry, is a historic establishment that has been serving patrons since 1899. The pub is steeped in history and retains its old-world charm with relics from the early 1900s on display. It was originally opened to provide light refreshments to passengers of the Tralee and Dingle Light Railway & Tramway.
## Dick Mack's Pub: A Must-See Cozy Corner for Whiskey Lovers (Even Solo!) Dick Mack's is a true gem! This cosy local corner exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. But the real star of the show for me was their **incredible selection of whiskey**. Seriously impressive, with something to tempt every palate. Loved soaking in the ambiance and exploring their extensive whiskey offerings. It's the kind of place where you can happily lose yourself in a dram or two. If you're in search of an authentic Irish pub experience with a remarkable whiskey collection, Dick Mack's is an absolute **must-see**.

We love Dick Mack's! We have only had amazing experiences here. Excellent service, great ambience, and we always have a good chat with people. My husband also got a belt this time. This was the only souvenir that he wanted and it's beautifully made. Wonderful memories made here on each visit.

Walking Dingle and We notice folks eating and drinking on picnic tables at the end of an alley. Curious and needed hydration we walked back to find Dick Mack’s Pub!! Found the bar got hydration and enjoyed an eclectic moment outside. It was great. Inside I noticed a couple sitting in a small booth facing the bar. I asked if they were giving a confession. Apparently not 😳🫢 Great spot!! Church across the street too 🙏
Bob K — Google review
Great service but way too touristy for us. Don't serve food I think. It's worth seeing once. Guinness wasn't great to be honest. The front snug is gorgeous but the back of bar where toilets are is horribly new. The builder should have been fired. They make personalised leather belts there. They were make some kind of video YouTube thingy in there. Dingle is expensive on par with Dublin prices which is a pity.
Aoibhinn M — Google review
What a fabulous pub! One side is a shoe/leather maker and the other is the bar with 2 private ‘booths’ like the old days. We received a friendly welcome by Finn and of course our dog was allowed in without hesitation. Definitely recommend stopping here, we went back again in the evening for another Guinness (it was very nice) and we will be back for sure in the future

Unique and classic pub. Friendly service with good drinks. Well worth a visit to this original treasure .

My wife wanted to buy a belt, as the pub is doing a side line in belts. I went off to get some other bits and left her to it. After half an hour I went into Dicks and asked how she was getting on. She was quiet. I got a (non-boozy like and soda, third of a pint, €2:30????), when I turned to talk to my wife she was very quiet. Something was wrong. I asked what colour belt she was after, she told me “black”. Your man making the belts then pipes up; “We have no black.” Nothing else, just that. My wife then got up and left. I abandoned my overpriced softy, and followed. I asked her (maaaa wife) what was going on. She then told me that the master belt whacker, had not even spoken to her. No hello, no, what are you after? Nothing. I cannot help but feel this situation would have been different if she had been a fella waiting with a pint. I suspect your man would have acknowledged me if I had gone in. I felt a hot rage go up my back. I wanted to go back in and have a chat about why these men had been so rude to my wife. Maybe Dicks is after just having men in their boozer, but just ignoring my wife because she is a women is plain rude. So we went to Uisce and the lovely ladies made my wife several bits and a belt. We spent a good chunk of change and left very happy. Stick to pouring beer lads. I remember when I was young this was a good pub. It’s just a tourist trap run by rude locals with a grudge against people who want to spend money. Go to O’Flaherty’s for a pint.

Irish pub
Foxy John's in Dingle is not your typical pub. It's a unique blend of a traditional Irish watering hole, a bicycle rental store, and a hardware shop all rolled into one. This quirky establishment has even attracted the likes of Star Wars actor Mark Hamill for some post-filming revelry. The cozy space often features live music performances with musicians standing amidst hardware supplies as they entertain the crowd.
Such great adaptive reuse. My dad who is a handyman would just love this bar. The place is also bigger than it seems, as it is deep. The back courtyard is also really pretty and nice.
Ping Z — Google review
Quite a unique pub. Several separate rooms with original stone walls and even an alleyway. Towards the back, a courtyard open to the sky where smoking was permitted. Plenty of room for us tourists and lively locals to meet.
Donna B — Google review
This was my favorite pub on our trip around Ireland. I originally stopped in because it says they are a hardware store outside and I needed a wrench to fix some camera gear. They ended up fixing it for me for free plus they have a great pint of Guinness on tap. They had a peat moss fire burning too and there was a sheep dog hanging out which liked to play fetch endlessly. Highly recommended!
James C — Google review
As I walked in, I half forgot why I was there, was it for a beer or a box of screws? In Australia, you can go to the hardware store for a sausage sandwich, but being able to head in for a beer was next level. Foxy John's bills itself proudly has having a rare dual function of being both a hardware store and a bar, but to be fair, I saw no one buying hardware when I was there. Forgive the one star for the food, I don’t eat or see others eating while I was there. But if you’re after a drink, this place definitely has those. The bar was full of people perched up, enjoying a drink and a chat, I ordered a Guinness, making sure I skulled the first one, and quickly decided I needed a Foxy John’s t-shirt. This is so when I get back home, people will know how cool I am. John Prine’s classic “Angel from Montgomery” was playing at a nice volume over the chatter of the patrons. I quickly ordered a second beer and sat down out the back with our group to debrief on the highlights of the trip to Dingle and Doolin. We’d seen some sights, feed some baby lambs, bought some funky wool socks, and enjoyed some excellent food and whiskey - and now we’d found a quiet spot for a beer and a de-brief in a unique Dingle institution. You come here for the character, the story and probably for a t-shirt. Some people we’d chatted to in Doolin said we had to visit “Foxy John’s” if we were in Dingle, so we did. We enjoyed a pint and a chat and left in search of sustenance. Bunnings in Australia could definitely learn a thing or two from this hardware store with a twist.
Jay S — Google review
Foxy Johns was on my list for Dingle. (Thanks to Rick Steves and a few YouTubers!) Stopped in for a pint with my wife and three sons. It was packed in the front, but one of the bartenders acknowledged me and got back to me in a couple minutes. I sidled up shoulder to shoulder to an elderly man on a stool at the bar. We smiled at each other and I leaned in and said “That's the price you pay for a good seat.” He winked and raised his glass. (Perfect Pub Moment.) We found a table in the back room and played Uno with some other patrons. Loud, and chaotic, but we loved every minute of it!
Randy B — Google review
Great pub! We stopped in for a cider and had a lovely time. Fun that it's a hardware shop/pub combination and service was fantastic.
Katie L — Google review
Hardware store and pub at the sametime, interesting concept. I bought an Irish whiskey and really enjoyed it.
Fil B — Google review
Great pub that also is a hardware store. Recommend to grab a souvenir here while grabbing a pint or 10. Staff were friendly, and Rosie the dog loves to play fetch. We had a great time here, one of the best pubs I stopped in during our 11 night trip across Ireland. Thanks! 🍻

Live music bar
The Dingle Pub is a vibrant establishment that offers a combination of a lively bar and comfortable B&B accommodation. Since 1976, this family-owned venue has been serving up delicious home-cooked meals, refreshing drinks, and live music from talented performers such as David Geaney. Guests can enjoy nightly ballad sessions and live sports screenings while indulging in pub food and making use of the free WiFi.
What a find!!! We came across The Dingle Pub on accident and it was AMAZING. They had the absolute BEST Shepherds Pie I've ever had, definitely recommend. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the area, they answered our many questions about Dingle! We can't wait to go back and spend some more time in this beautiful little town!!

Fabulous spot to enjoy an Irish band and have fun! Great service and congrats to the team here as they are all so friendly and welcoming. Didn’t manage to eat, so can’t comment on food! But the Guinness was great!

Full disclosure Dingle restaurants were packed by 6 PM on Tuesday night. We tried 3 restaurants before trying Dingle Pub. I’ve been in the restaurant business and I witnessed a high volume smooth running machine. Getting guests in, service without feeling rushed, and flipping tables better than most I’ve ever seen. Compliments to the Manager, Servers,Support, Bar, and BOH. All did an outstanding job!! Respects!!!

We arrived late in Dingle, and if you know the roads over here, then you get it. We rushed down to grab some dinner with about 30 minutes left to order for the night. They knocked it out of the park! The food was perfect and hearty, with the ambiance being the standout feature. The place was packed and the moment a table of the food side opened up it was filled again.

The food was great. We enjoyed the easy going atmosphere. One night they even had live music. Would love to go again.

If I could've stayed, I would've. For me, this is the epitome of an Irish pub. And I know others would argue with me, but the Dingle Pub just had the right level of coziness and friendliness for me. People were kind, and the food was delicious. The Irish stew on a rainy day? Yes, please.
Maria — Google review
What a gloriously ruckus night! The night we went to The Dingle Pub there was live music, and a birthday party. It was shoulder to shoulder, and we stood about 3 feet from the musicians. Birthday guests danced in a circle most of the time we were there. An older woman kept stepping on my foot, which was no bother. I have big feet and she was tiny and apologized incessantly. It just added to the ambiance. This may sound horrible to you, but we loved every minute of it!
Randy B — Google review
Hearty food and a great first experience of white pudding in the salad they have. The Irish stew went down a treat after a long day of driving. Great atmosphere inside and a proper local experience when the live music kicked off! Guinness all over the show and people singing. Just what you want when visiting Ireland. Dingle is the best ❤️

Pub
Curran's is a traditional shop-pub in Dingle that has been around for 150 years. The layout is quite random, with a long serving-desk displaying various garments and miscellaneous objects for sale, including bags of potatoes. You can even find iconic farmer hats here. The pub features original stained-glass snugs and offers some of the best Guinness in the area. It's known for its no-frills, authentic atmosphere and is a popular spot for spontaneous traditional music sessions.
Curran's is a great example of a traditional Irish pub with its 2 counters spanning the taproom. If they are advertising traditional or trad music, then run in, grab a pint and head through the back door of the taproom to the covered patio where you will be treated to some great Irish tunes. We thoroughly enjoyed watching Euro Cup football and listening to trad to wrap up a great day in Dingle. Slainte!

Curran’s Bar in Dingle is a gem—great atmosphere, top-notch pints, and a superb location right on Main Street. It’s got proper charm, blending history with a lively crowd. The Guinness is spot on, and the friendly locals make it a must-visit for a proper Dingle pub
Shane D — Google review
None of the loud music across the road so it gets 5 stars from me. The barmen look like they should be in a Guy Richie movie. Like this place.

Absolute great pub. The inside aesthetic is incredible and what you want from a rural Kerry pub. Bright for a traditional Irish pub and Guinness is fine.

Love these pubs where one side is the bar and the other side is an old shop which is full of history. The lady who served us the best pint of Guinness said she never had never drunk it herself!

Genuine old Irish pub with a lot of local characters. The Guinness was the best I’ve ever had, another level. Soon as you walked in the smell of years gone by. Friendly & intriguing. Sit in the snug.

Pub
An Droichead Beag, which translates to "the small bridge," is a popular pub in Dingle known for its lively traditional Irish music sessions that typically start around 10pm. The pub features a rotating group of musicians playing classic Irish tunes. It's advised not to make song requests as it's not customary in Irish trad music.
Thursday night we stayed after 12 when the back bar turns into a disco. Wacky mix of American tunes you didn't know you needed to dance to.

Great pint of guiness really creamy and served at just the right temperature. You can get a pizza across the street and eat it in the bar ... brilliant

We hiked from Annascaul to Dingle in the rain and this was the first pub that caught our eye. I needed a whiskey before heading any further into town to our lodging, and I wanted to dry out a bit. It as late afternoon and most people were sitting in another part of the bar watching the World Cup. We sat at the bar and enjoyed looking around the interesting interior. Lots of wood and stone. An old world feel. The first barman who served us wasn't all that friendly or chatty, but gave us our whiskey and went back to the other side. He may have been at the end of his shift, as shortly afterwards another bartender came to check on us. He was friendlier and visited with us a bit. It's a big place, with lots of nooks and crannies to sit with friends. They had barrel tables set up on the sidewalk for folks wishing to get some fresh air with their drinks.
Julie S — Google review
Really crowded, good vibes, my first night out in a pub in Ireland. I was with locals there so it was great fun, we had a drink and enjoyed the place. The pub is really BIG with an outside part which is great!
Tanguy W — Google review
YES! This is what a traditional Irish pub is all about! Low ceilings, dark, a warm fire going, Guinness on tap and live music! We loved our post-dinner drinks and entertainment at this pub. Lots of American tourists. Very old pub, super cozy. Come early for good seating. We were there on a weeknight, so I imagine on weekends it probably gets pretty busy.
Ava C — Google review
Now, let me explain. This is a good spot. Fantastic outdoor area, (best in Dingle by far), and it's the latest opening bar in Dingle in so far as I'm aware. I'm docking a star as we've been in a few times over the last week, and it absolutely and overwhelmingly stinks of sickly stale puke. It is awful; you cannot escape it which forced us outside (and as I said, we love that area). If it were only one night, I'd have put that fault to one side, but on a few different visits, it was always the same smell. That's a shame, as it's a great, lively venue. Come on guys, sort the hygiene out!

Live music venue
O'Sullivan's Courthouse Pub is a must-visit for traditional Irish music enthusiasts. The pub hosts lively trad nights on Wednesdays and Sundays from 9 pm onwards, featuring some of the finest Irish musicians. It's advisable to arrive early to secure a seat and enjoy the melodic harmonies and fiddle-playing, often led by talented artists like Niamh Varian-Barry.
Top notch Guinness, music and Irish vibes. Just watch your head, the pub was built by leprechauns. 😉
MG_Decentra — Google review
Stopped into O’Sullivan’s Courthouse Pub in Dingle on a lazy afternoon, and enjoyed a quiet pint of Guinness. Forgive the 1 star for food, as I don’t know if they do food or have any food, I didn’t notice anything and was only there for 1 Guinness. The quiet wasn’t a bad thing - at this time of day we were the only people here. The bar man was friendly, it felt like stepping back in time a little bit as I quietly sat in some local history. The walls had some fun graffiti, I didn’t have a pen or anything interesting to write, but if I did I may have tried to add something. I loved learning about how things were once upon a time for the courthouse in Dingle. I walked in purely because my last name was Sullivan, and that seemed as good a reason as any for a beer here. I think the owners of the Pub are musicians - and the space does look like the sort of place where on the right night, with the right gig on, it would be a great place to be. But as an introvert who had spent the day exploring, I was very happy to be here on a quiet afternoon. Regardless of your surname, or the time of day, if you’re in Dingle and this place is open, consider popping in for a beer - or two, or three.
Jay S — Google review
Lovely pub - just spoiled by the 1 staff we encountered. I said hello 3 times (as the only customer), so did the next guy that came in. Kinda ruined it for me. But seems like it would have a great atmosphere when it gets going.
Marc B — Google review
This is the place if you want to find a true community experience, as well as the best traditional music anywhere! It is lively and fun, and the Guinness is the BEST! The owners really care about everyone who comes in and it shows!

On a recent stay in Dingle, we ended up at O'Sullivan's for drink, music and craic. We got healthy doses of each, along with an adventure. The lights went out turns out it was the entire area, but without missing a beat, the owners son behind the bar, as well as all the other servers, brought candles to each table, a few in front of the band, and didn't forget to put some in the toilets. What's better that a great night that gave me a story to tell forever.
Eric W — Google review
Get there before 8:30pm to get a good seat. The live music roughly starts by 9pm. The night that we went to was a duo with guitar & flutes, loved it. They did some of their own music and did some classic Irish tunes as well.

Pub
Nestled in the heart of Dingle, Neligan's Bar is a cherished establishment that has been lovingly maintained by the Neligan family for generations. This inviting pub offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding with a refreshing gin or whiskey after exploring the stunning local scenery. As evening falls, patrons are treated to some of the finest live music in town, making it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors seeking authentic Irish experiences.
We were thrilled to find a pub playing authentic Irish music, not just American songs with an Irish twist. The crowd was just right—lively but not too packed.

We visited Nellie’s on our last night in Dingle. We had a wonderful experience. The live music & dancing were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the authentic, live music and dancing. Both the dancers and singers played for well over two hours. Great pub to wrap up our trip.

Can't weigh in on the food because we've only been there for pints and traditional music. Those both deliver every time. Music, dancing, and good craic in general. The service is excellent and we have always found good conversation.

A great little Irish pub. A place you must visit. Mind you, you can say that about any pub in Dingle. Great staff. Great live music. Great Guinness. A pool table. I noticed they keep the full kegs of beer under the side benches.
Shellback54 — Google review
We were in search of a quick game of pool, and found it in Neligan’s Bar in Dingle. Our original plan was to have a quick game of pool, and then move on to somewhere else. We ended up staying for a long time, and soaking in some of the most cherished experiences of our trip, and wherever that "somewhere else" was, mattered less. Sometimes you just find yourself exactly where you’re meant to be. While playing pool, we shared a few drinks and games of pool with some people who were gathering to have a drink for their father who had recently passed. I’d never share the conversations - as they were personal - but I was struck by the openness, warmth, and generosity of spirit from people we had only just met. We were welcomed in as a small part of a story being written, and what wasn’t a sad occasion, but clearly a meaningful celebration of someone’s life well lived. These are memories that will stay with us. As the evening went on, the pool table was packed away so the traditional Irish dancing could start. Before it started, we’d already had some of the locals tell us we could go across the street to the Pizzeria and bring it back into the pub if we were hungry, and they also gave us some small demos of the style of dancing we could expect if we stuck around. What was about to take place wasn’t a show - it was a community event that everyone who started to fill Neligan’s was there to enjoy and participate in. There was a live band and a caller who guided the room, a bit like they would in a barn dance back home in Australia: all ages, all abilities, everyone laughing, some learning, but most lived and loved it and the joy and laughter filled the venue and spilled into the street. It turned out to be the 80th birthday of a gentleman who was clearly a much loved figure in the dancing community - and to see him dance, celebrating and being celebrated, was genuinely moving. This group of people also made us feel like we were welcome guests in their experience. We came for a simple game of pool. We were gifted so much more. While I certainly couldn’t guarantee this exact experience, I am sure if you stop by, you’ll be made to feel welcome, you’ll be able to enjoy a drink, play some pool if the table is out, and be made to at home away from home.
Jay S — Google review
Amazing pub for music and dancing. I took my mom here and we had a grand time. A must visit. We were there on a Friday night and by 8:15 the place was filling up and the music had begun.
Taylor C — Google review
I could not have been happier than to have found this place on our travels to Dingle. Other spots like Dingle Bar are much more touristy and feel staged and manufactured for the tourists. This small pub was bristling with warm energy and a beautiful local Irish spirit. I had the pleasure of ducking in here out of the rain one afternoon by chance and began chatting with the manager Meabh. She was just opening up and she was inviting and full of wonderful Irish hospitality. I had a pint and went on my way. As I walked around town and asked locals where was the best traditional music in Dingle to hear that night many said “oh you should go to Nelligans”. What are the odds! So I popped back in that night and had the best evening of live music I can remember. This is where true traditional Irish music is being played. They have a drop-in spirit there where folks can come and join the small ensemble to play traditional “trad” Irish music and the talent of these local musicians is incredible. They believe in keeping the authentic traditional music alive and you’ll hear fiddles, accordions, guitar, flute, concertina, and singing. I can’t say enough how happy I am to have had the pleasure of experiencing this pub on my travels or having been able to meet the lovely Meabh. Who by the way it turns out is also an incredibly talented musician from a line of famous musicians and plays there as well!

Nestled in the heart of the summer season buzz, John Benny's Pub is a must-visit establishment in Dingle. This pub offers an extensive selection of Irish Whiskey and is a strong advocate for all things Irish. Despite the current pause on live music due to COVID-19, it remains a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
Vegetarian perspective Multiple vegetarian and vegan menu options, in addition to the Irish classics. Was a perfect stop for us. The waitress was super helpful and helped make sure we got the first table to open up outside. She was very attentive and the food and drinks were delivered quickly. We were able to lounge and enjoy our lunch overlooking the coast.

A great pub very close to the car park which we needed as it was pouring down. The pub was busy but the lovely gentleman who greeted us found a table very quickly for us.All the food we had was excellent and a very nice atmosphere inside aswell plus if the weather is ever nice there's plenty of seating outside.I had the soup which was great then the sausages and mash and they were sausages with Guinness in them which you could actually taste which surprised me. definitely a good find on a very wet day in Dingle and I'd definitely recommend coming to this pub

I have nothing to say, it was just all very good. I was afraid to eat oysters for a long time in my life since my last experience, as a seafood lover I had to give it a go again so I did try their oysters and it was absolutely beautiful, Very fresh! The mussels were also amazing. Thanks for the good experience.

Great food, great service, great location. Could probably stop with just the headline but Ill go on. We ate here on a busy Tuesday with the brown full of tourists. We sat outside and it was perfect. Cold beer and hot food. I got the Guinness beef stew and substituted fries (chips) for mashed potatoes because of my dairy allergy. SO got the bangers and mash. Despite the crowds everything came fast. Staff was cheerful and efficient. Prices were below what I would have expected for such a great location. Highly recommended.

Afternoon lunch in Dingle. Great food served by friendly locals in a wonderful setting. Biggest portion of Fish n Chips I have ever been served. Lots of restaurants in this hamlet but this one was great.

Traditional Irish food, ordered mussels, beef Guinness stew and fish pie. All turned out hearty and satisfying for a rainy day. Waiter was friendly and service was nice.

We had an amazing experience at John Benny’s Pub last night. I went with a group of American friends, and they were absolutely thrilled with the food. The mussels were incredible – fresh, flavorful, and the sauce was perfect. I had the chorizo linguine, and it was absolutely delicious. The young lady who served us was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and very professional. However, there was an older lady working there who was extremely unfriendly and dismissive. Honestly, a place that serves such divine food deserves staff who reflect the same warmth and quality. Overall, the food was phenomenal, and we’ll definitely be back – just hoping for the same great service we received from the first waitress.

The place is right in the center, just in front of the port, so it's a convenient spot for people passing by. I went there for a beer with friends first, we had the beer at the counter and the bartender was nice and funny. I came back for dinner, but unfortunately there was a long waiting time. They suggested that we wait at a nearby cocktail bar. While it turned out to be a good discovery, it ended up making us spend more than we had planned because we felt obligated to buy something there. Anyway, when we finally got a table, they split our group into two tables and took our orders separately. As a result, when the food arrived, some of us were just starting to eat while others were already finishing. I ordered the fish pie. It was good, a kind of revised cottage pie with a seafood chowder at the bottom instead of meat. It was a nice idea, and the overall taste was good. However, there seemed to be a small amount of fish compared to the potatoes on top, and the consistency was too liquid. Nevertheless, it was still okay. On the other hand, I wasn't pleased when one of my friends ordered a Caesar salad with eggs and received her meal as the last person, after everyone else had already finished. To make matters worse, she only received a plain green salad and half an egg! Despite these hiccups, it's still a good spot to grab a quick bite.

Absolute gem! This is exactly what I pictured an Irish pub would be like, and it did not disappoint. We ducked in to get out of a rain shower and ended up having such a great experience. The bartenders (pretty sure they were family) were super friendly and welcoming. The restrooms were clean, and the place was way bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We stayed here for one night. You get a private, gated parking space right in a backyard by the entrance. The breakfast was more than enough and very tasty. The staff were also very friendly, and the rooms were completely to our satisfaction. I kindly ask the owner to keep up the good work. If things stay this way, we’ll gladly come back!

We stopped in for a quick dinner last night. The location in town across from the harbor is Excellent. The Seafood Chowder and Mash Burger were excellent. The Fish and Chips were very good ( but to be fair..I am very very picky when it comes to my fish and chips)...and not everyone has the smashed peas...so I was very pleased. A very very nice casual experience and definitely worth the stop in for a quick meal. Thank You to all...

Ate and drank at this wonderful Pub. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The service at the bar and at our table was exceptional. Here we discovered Dingle Gin and Elderflower Tonic. This is an amazing G&T! My friends and I both had the fish and chips. The fish was fresh, perfectly fried and the tartar sauce and mushy peas were terrific.

Stayed for one night while traveling by car, the location was really good for exploring the area. Breakfast was really great, the room was clean and the beds really comfortable. Only tiny small missing detail was some kind of surface to keep your bigger luggage on top of, but everything else was excellent!

Good food and drinks in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Tried the seafood chowder and a vegetable soup which were both very good. Very nice pub with good service .

Only ate lunch here but was disappointed with the seafood chowder especially after reading all the reviews claiming "Best EVER". I've only had three so far during my trip to Ireland and this was significantly worse than the other two. Kind of watery in comparison, lacking the thick creaminess and rich flavour of the other two. Also not much seafood compared to the others and mostly just vegetables. Service was good and food came quickly, but just not the best quality food. Chips were good but not amazing. Bailey's coffee was also not as good as the only other one I've ever had.

A Gem in Dingle – Five Stars All the Way! We popped into The Marina Inn for a quick stop and ended up staying way longer than planned—because when the food is this good, you just don’t rush! I went for the beef burger, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. Juicy, flavorful, and absolutely top-notch. My girlfriend had the hake, and she was in pure seafood heaven—every bite was perfection. The real stars of the show, though, were the staff. Massive shoutout to Ashling and the whole team, who looked after us like royalty, all with a smile and the kind of Irish charm that makes you never want to leave. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that hits the spot—what more could you ask for? If you’re in Dingle and don’t stop at The Marina Inn, are you even doing it right? We’ll definitely be back!

This place was a great iteration of the many pubs that serve local fare in Dingle. The seafood chowder was insanely good. It had a ton of different kinds of seafood and delicious thick creamy base. I got it as a "light lunch" and I was full for hours, it's very filling. It comes with great bread as well. My husband had bangers and mash and really enjoyed it too. Friendly service, warm welcoming atmosphere.

Oh my! The stew!!! The best Irish stew, so full of flavour and comes with a huge spoonful of mashed potato in the middle as if it wasn’t perfect enough already. The chowder is also delicious, so thick with fish you can stand your spoon up in it! I wish I could eat here every day.

We went in for some Irish coffee and cappuccino. But the seafood chowder looked so good so we had some too. It turned out to be the best chowder we ever had. They put a lot of fish and seafood in the soup and it was flavorful. Love the sticky toffee pudding cake with caramel sauce and the white chocolate cheesecake too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back if we are here in Ireland again ❤️

We went there during lunch service on a Saturday. Lots of tourists, like us, as is to be expected. The staff was friendly enough and the food came quickly. It's definitely alright and would have been 4 stars if the food hadn't been so bland. Vegetarian lasagna and signature seafood sandwich. Both didn't taste like much.

Honestly, this seemed better than a 4.3. We had a really nice server and the food was great. It’s nice that it’s a little bit removed from the center of things, so you’re more likely to be able to get a seat, especially for a larger party.

Got the prawn tagliatelle, which was for me very bland. soaking wet I was looking forward to a rich creamy pasta. Staff were lovely, but thirty quid for the pasta too much. I understand prawns are dearer and esp when fresh and the prawns themselves were lovely as was the garlic bread. But sauce was barely there felt just watery and bland. Pity! everything else great and staff lovely. service was quick. It's for you if you like a really light barely there sauce like just eating pasta & prawns. Linguini up the road was €18.

I got the special of the day that was 1/2 a dozen oysters and a half pint of Guinness. The oysters were massive and the best I have ever had. They came from Clare county. I also had the lamb shank and it was the most juicy, decadent, and savory lamb I have ever had. I had the best passion fruit martini here as well.

The staff here were so nice and welcoming. After our long drive from Galway it was exactly the right spot to have dinner while discussing the days adventures. The fish and chips were the best. Kennedy's Bar, located on Upper Main Street in Dingle, is a charming and traditional pub that holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike. The bar is owned by a young couple who inherited it from their grandparents and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The interior is a delightful mismatch of cozy corners and little rooms, with an old-world atmosphere that transports patrons back in time.
So glad we stopped at this cosy little bar in Dingle! It was recommended by a local we got acquainted with. It was absolutely romantic with candles and warm vibes. We also managed to catch one of the jam sessions which was quite a vibe. 100% go here while in Dingle to enjoy a great cocktail :)

The ambience was great, it was perfect for a rainy Wednesday night. We were very excited to order one of the highly recommended cocktails from the cocktail menu. However, when we attempted to order cocktails at 10pm we were told they were no longer making cocktails. There was some confusion around this as we saw 5 other people receive cocktails after we sat down. The female bartender was dismissive and told us the prominently displayed cocktail menu no longer applied. The male bartender at the time was lovely and very cordial. Overall, good pub, but not the most welcoming.

Located on the main street of Dingle, Lord Baker's Restaurant & Bar has a rich history dating back to 1890 when it was opened by Tom Baker, a well-respected businessman and member of the Kerry County Council. The restaurant still showcases many of his acquisitions and is known for its locally sourced ingredients that shine through in their dishes. The pub is not only renowned for its delicious food but also serves as a local landmark named after its original owner.
Here on vacation in Dingle and hands down this restaurant has the most delicious Wild Atlantic Salmon I've ever had in my life. And my wife said this was the best Lobster she's ever had as well. And I can't forget the 3 piece fresh oysters, all caught fresh here in the seas of Dingle. The staff is amazing and friendly and the owner himself introduced himself to us and made some suggestions on what to eat and we took him up on that. His name is Mr. John Moriarty. Definitely recommend a taste if your in the area for some seafood.

Delicious and beautifully presented dishes in the most inviting environment. We felt at home here, partially thanks to the strong bonds between all who worked that night. We felt the connections and partnerships deploy. It was beautiful to witness. I had today's catch, which was a hake served on a bed of zucchini-wrapped tender leeks. This unique side made the dish even more memorable. It was such a surprise to dig in and explore a combination of flavors that I would never have considered.

We walked in and did a tasting in the tasting room (no tour). Great info from the staff at the bar. Lovely setting for the tasting - very authentic in the distillery. Really nice whiskey ! Recommend a stop here if you're touring around Dingle peninsula!

Great afternoon spent listening to the story of how Dingle gin vodka whisky came to be. Great tour by Colin. Tastings were great. Drink at end a bonus.
Amanda — Google review
Brilliant tour! So informative with a good number of tastings while going around!
Thomas D — Google review
During our trip around Edinburgh and Ireland, I tried to taste as many different local beers, gins and whiskeys as I could. On a rainy afternoon, we had booked in for a tour and tasting at the Dingle Distillery, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I learned a lot and liked what I tasted, so over all it was a great way to spend some time. It’s a beautiful establishment, full of local stories and like lots of businesses like this, it was a passion project, and who knew how it would go. What stood out to me initially was that the tour guide really knew their stuff and had been making alcohol for over 15 years. They knew a lot, and were clearly passionate about the process, care and effort that goes into making Dingle Gin, Vodka and Whiskey. The tour itself was not only informative, but really deepened my appreciation for the craft behind whiskey production - especially how the grain, cask type, and aging all significantly shape the final product. As someone who enjoys whiskey, but always adds a bit of ice, I appreciated the guide's open, relaxed and less puritanical view - telling us that it doesn’t have to be had straight, and encouraging people to enjoy their whiskey how they personally like it: and noting that if you add a little water or ice it actually opens it up. I was glad to hear that it is also how the guide liked to drink theirs. Dingle Distillery is still relatively young by global standards - founded in 2012 as part of the new wave of Irish craft distilleries. They have a sort of small-batch, artisan approach and began by selling casks of their first products to investors, lots of whom they knew - and it grew and grew from there. Everything is made on-site in Dingle, with a focus on quality over mass production. The distillery uses locally sourced botanicals for its gin (which is an excellent gin), and carefully selected casks for aging their whiskeys, including bourbon, rum and port casks that bring real depth and complexity. Their by-products are collected by local farmers and put to good use, and you can tell they’ve thought a lot about the end-to-end process. Before visiting, I couldn’t remember seeing or coming across their products, but since the tour, I’ve started seeing Dingle Whiskey and Dingle Gin everywhere, and by my taste buds, this is for good reasons. It was nice to support a distillery that’s still independently owned, and building its reputation for quality one batch at a time. If you’re visiting Dingle, don’t skip the tour. It’s a unique and memorable experience, whether you're a serious whiskey enthusiast or simply curious I think everyone would get something out of the tour.

I did the 75 minute Distillery tour. Very knowledgeable guide. They put together quite small groups of about 14 people max. Tasted different spirits in the beginning and at the end. Overall a great experience, if you want to see an artisan Whiskey Distillery, this is the best tour I had so far!
CutUp — Google review
A highlight of a great trip to Ireland. The tour guide was awesome, the content fascinating, and the whiskey delicious. Don’t miss this if you’re near Dingle.
Greg S — Google review
Simply lovely tour at a distillery that's in full operation. I booked the bespoke whiskey experience. Because whiskey is what i like so no gin and vodka on this tour. We first started with a single malt before the tour started, after the tour we experienced 4 other whiskeys, the single pot still, the 10 years single malt, a cask strength pot still and a cask strength single malt. Unfortunately they are not allowed to sell their product on site but they will point you in the right direction. There is a variety of merchandise, shirts, caps, beanies and hoodies. Had a wonderfull and experienced guide.

The Blue Zone in Dingle is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience. Nestled between Dick Mack's and the Fish Box, this cozy spot on the second floor specializes in pizza, wine, and jazz music. With low lighting and a relaxed atmosphere, it feels like being transported to a bustling city. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe. While they are known for their pizzas, they also offer fresh salads like smoked tofu or goat cheese salad.
Love this place. Really friendly hosts, great pizzas and huge salads, and the cheese board was great. Lots of wine pairings to go with everything if that's your thing, and generally a very cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend
Daragh F — Google review
good pizzas and the salads were a great break from pub fare. Unique decor and great playlist. Stop if you are in town
Josh W — Google review
Let me start with the staff here was very nice and the service was quite decent, but that’s about the end of anything good here. This place would be shut down by any American Heath dept on the spot. While waiting for our pizza we watched a spider crawl across the table next to us and the waiter tried to save it and take it outside instead of killing it and cleaning the table on the spot. Second I found a nice long 4-5 inch hair under the cheese on my pizza. Now let’s talk about the food, honestly I’d rather eat a Tostitos frozen pizza from the store. The crust had zero flavor and was paper thin and crunchy like stale cardboard. The sauce couldn’t be more basic as was the cheese. The garlic bread was a pitiful attempt at a classy twist, they simply sliced a baguette down the middle and slapped some butter and cheese in the middle. On the upside when we informed the waiter of the hair in the food, she comped the meal and we promptly left to find another dinner spot.

Not great, waited 45 mins for a simple pizza ..was tasty but .. wont be back , skipped desert for fear of waiting all night 👎

Very vegan friendly jazz bar with friendly staff in a relaxed environment. Menu states they have vegan cheese for +€1.50 and staff are happy to switch around toppings for you. Vegan dessert also offered: we had the ice-cream and sorbet. Highly recommend

I got Self Rule which was pretty good but a little too spicy. My dad got a different kind and really liked it. The lighting could be a little brighter since it was fairly dark. Service was pretty good but my dad was given a cracked glass which we had to exchange.

We loved to discover Blue Zone in Dingle! We knew right away when we saw this place we would love it and were not disappointed. The owner welcomed us with comfy seating, good converations, and recs for sightseeing the next day. The large side salad was decadent and the vegan pizza was delicious! We even decided to come back for round 2 the next day.

Pub
Nelliefreds is a popular pub located in Dingle, known for its lively atmosphere and diverse entertainment offerings such as live music and comedy. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of this pub is vibrant and inviting. It's also considered an ideal spot for group visits. The accommodation above the bar is clean and spacious, offering great value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, contributing to the overall community feel of the place.
The hotel part of nelliefreds was great. The room was modern and clean and the noise wasn't too bad. It is right in the city center so plenty of pubs and restaurants to walk to. I regret not staying here longer, Dingle was a great town to stay at.

I had great fun at Nellie Fred's. Fantastic music venue. Danced the night away at The Global Rythms Festival held each night in the querky garage. Staff were lovely.
Patricia B — Google review
Four stars for value for money, stayed in the quadruple room over the bar on a hiking trip. Nellie Fred's is on the edge of the main bar areas but given most of everything is within 5-10 mins in Dingle, and is over a cracking little pub, it's perfectly acceptable. Bar is cosy, has a pool table and music area out back for bands, we didn't catch any on our trip, but had some nice pints. Staff and owner all very friendly, as is everybody in Dingle. Room is clean and comfortable, only issue is the shower takes a while to drain so four lads or ladies having a shower one after the other means an inch or more of water will likely remain unless you let it run off. Only two of us so not a bother. Recommend and will book here on return.

Great little place. Stayed on Saturday night, lovely atmosphere and ideal location. Live music most nights, great selection of Irish beers, whiskeys and of course Dingle gin 😁

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and we loved it. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Everybody who works here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The pub is great as well and has a real community feel to it unlike some of the other pubs we visited that seemed more catered to tourists.

Lovely beer garden out the back with a pizza truck, great chilled out atmosphere with good music. Definitely give the homemade cordial cocktails a try. Their candle shop next door is also well worth a visit - scents are divine!

Had a quick pint in here, had to use the toilet shortly after arriving. Strong smell of urine/ammonia from the gents emanating through the lounge meant we didn't stay long. Pint of Guinness was actually good
Philip J — Google review
Surely the dirtiest pub I’ve ever been in. The back room smelled of urine from the toilet. The floor, the furniture, the shelving, the seats were all filthy and dusty. Not old and full of character but simply filthy. Had one pint there and ran out of it.

The Bridge House is a charming bar located by the River Lennon, offering a cozy retreat for locals and visitors alike. It provides a picturesque spot to enjoy drinks while overlooking the river. The bar features traditional charm, great decor, and efficient, friendly staff. Visitors can indulge in delicious food such as fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding while enjoying live music. Additionally, there is an outdoor covered area with pool tables for entertainment.
We spent a night with our camper at The Bridge House 🚐 and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The parking was on solid concrete – super convenient ✅. The restrooms and facilities were spotless and far beyond what we expected 👌🛁. 💥Unbeatable price-performance ratio!💥 I honestly don’t get Tara’s comment about it being a rip-off 🤷‍♂️. We actually paid more than asked — Why? Because Mike has a heart of gold 💛. The parking fee goes straight to charity 🐶🥊🏠 — supporting everything from dog rescues to youth boxing clubs and helping the homeless. We even added a few extra Euros to support the cause 💶 – because people like Mike make the world a better place 🙌. Mike, your heart is as big as a mine – thank you for being the kind, generous soul you are. We’ll definitely be back for the November Festival 🎉🎶! Warm regards, Uwe & Martina 🌍❤️

When my husband and I visited this past March we met the owner and his wife. They are amazing people! I sprained my ankle on the way up and Mike made sure I was well taken care of! The drinks are great, the staff is awesome and the atmosphere is truly entrenched with the spirit of Ireland. Hands down the best bar in Dingle! We will be back 💚-~ Chanda and Warren Broderick

Great vibes in this joint. Front is more like a traditional pub, as you walk to the back it opens up with a ton of room, 2 pool tables inside. Big patio with tables, 2 more pool tables and a cozy fire place in back. We came here multiple times during our stay in Dingle. Spike, the owner, is very nice and friendly. We probably sat and talked with him for over an hour. 2 beautiful dogs, too!
Christopher B — Google review
We stayed at The Bridge House in Dingle with our camper van and had a fantastic experience. The site had plenty of space, making it super easy to maneuver and park the van without any stress. The facilities were great – clean bathrooms and a hot shower, which was much appreciated after a long day on the road. It's a very pet-friendly spot, which was perfect as we were traveling with our dog. There's also a handy little tuck shop stocked with tea, coffee, sodas, and a great selection of snacks – ideal for a quick pick-me-up. One of the highlights was the lovely on-site pub. It had pool tables, an inviting enclosed fireplace area, and a really cozy vibe overall. The service throughout our stay was warm and welcoming – you can really tell the hosts care about their guests having a good time. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Dingle, especially camper van travelers looking for a relaxed and friendly place to stay.

Absolutely loved this place. Great central location. Secure. Michael the owner great fella. His dogs made friends with ours. Facilities great. What more could you ask for five stars
Pete R — Google review
The staff have no interest in the customers. Unfriendly and stale atmosphere here. I was shocked at at how little the staff cared when our group entered. Stray cats in the pub and the staff allowing the cats to drink out of the glasses. Disgusting. This whole place needs new management. It has massive potential. We will not be returning.
