Lighthouses
The California Lighthouse, built in the 1910s, is a historic landmark located just a short drive from Oranjestad in Aruba. This iconic structure dates back to 1885 and was one of three lighthouses overseeing shipping traffic into the island. Visitors can enjoy guided tours during the day and witness breathtaking sunset views from its observation deck after 5 pm.
A cool landmark to visit when you are in Aruba, it is on one end of the island and you have plenty of parking on the side of the road, there is a $5 ticket if you wish to go up the lighthouse. It has a beautiful view as you can see water on 3 sides of the island
Gursimran D — Google review
Amazing spot, especially at sunset! There’s an Italian restaurant (we didn’t try it), but the views of Palm and Eagle Beach from top are just stunning. Highly recommended!
Santosh G — Google review
This place has a good view. $5 a person entrance fee. Quite a lots of step and very narrow stairway. It definitely has strong wind blowing when you are up high, however the structure felt pretty stable.
Leah N — Google review
Beautiful spot to check out. Great place for sunset. Easy and smooth drive getting up. If you wanna go to the top of the lighthouse, get there early, it closes at 4-5pm.
JetSetExplorer — Google review
This makes for a nice side trip to the northern part of the island. The lighthouse area offers some excellent views of the north end of Aruba as well as views looking back at the hotels near the Nord area. There are snacks available from a food truck and meals offered at a nice looking restaurant (which also has restrooms you can use for $1 per person).
Jerry Y — Google review
Great little side stop. Very fun. There’s a great view, a cool bus there with all sorts of gifts and refreshments and snacks. Freshly remodeled Italian restaurant that you must try especially at sunset. I wasn’t able to when I visited because it was getting remodeled, but it’s open now if you’re in Aruba, you must stop there.
Christopher N — Google review
A beautiful place to visit. This is located at the northern tip of the island. A bus can be taken the majority of the way there but you will still have a 20 minute walk. Cost is $5 a person to enter. Beautiful view and worth the cost.
S P — Google review
Nice spot to see the difference in the coast and the rougher side of the east coast and the calm west coast! It costs $5 to go up in the lighthouse so we didn’t. There is a restaurant on site. No public bathroom except for when the restaurant is open. There is a vendor there selling drinks, snacks and mementos.

Parks
Arikok National Park, located on the east coast of Aruba, is a geologically diverse natural area that offers hiking, historic caves, and beach access. Covering about 20% of the island, it boasts an abundance of cacti and limestone caves to explore. The park is home to various wildlife such as snakes, lizards, and parakeets. Visitors can also witness nesting turtles in Boca Prins.
We were so excited to finally visit this place. We explored the trails in our rented jeep, made it to the natural pool and all I can say is WOW! The environment in general was spectacular as were the views. It was a bit tricky traversing the trails but we had experience, if you’re not comfortable using 4 wheel drive you can take an excursion guided tour. The flexibility of having the trail riding experience was awesome, we did the pool, caves, visited the beaches and exited the park at the wind mill entrance. What a beautiful place and must do when visiting Aruba.
Jay C — Google review
The scenery is beautiful. But it is not any better than the rest of the gorgeous coastline of the northeast Aruba outside of the "National Park", yet one has to pay an entry fee of $22/person (!). Compare it to the real National Parks in the US where one pays a similar amount for a car, regardless of how many people are in that car. On top of that, unless one rents a 4WD, they will charge you an arm and a leg to drive you to the Natural Pool, because they haven't built any decent road there. And the staff is very unfriendly, and there is nothing to see in the Visitor Center, and points of interest are not well marked, and... yes, they want you to hire a guide and pay more. A tourist trap.
Pavel F — Google review
Cute little park great to drive around with the car (you need a jeep if you want to go to the remove beach). Very challenging but very funny to drive if you like off road. Visit the caves …. The beaches on the ocean side (no swim allowed due to rip currents and potentially big waves).
Marco U — Google review
Highly recommend. Pleasantly surprised at how much of the park we could enjoy with a small rental car (not 4x4). Some areas of park are restricted to 4x4s, but we drove main road from visitor center to Dos Playa, caves, and then out the south entrance.
Sean N — Google review
What an amazing place! So well maintained, the staff is helpful. Take their recommendations wisely for what kind of vehicle you are using there. If visiting by regular car go slow over the drain divots! So much to see. If you want to go to the beach you will need a 4x4. There are many places to pull off for a view.
Daniel R — Google review
Věry beautiful place. The best idea Is to take a Jeep, because you Are not allowed to visit all places in this park with regular car. Do not forget to take a map in a visitor center. One adult ticker Is 22usd And you can pay with card.
Petr K — Google review
Loved this park! So different from the developed part of Aruba. Staff was so friendly and nice too. We took a tour in an all terrain vehicle. You would be limited if driving in a regular car.
Prudence L — Google review
Spent a whole day exploring Arikok. Rent a capable off roader (I did a Suzuki Jimny) and go explore the untamed parts of Aruba. It's well worth the day away from the beach.

Baby Beach, located near the southern tip of Aruba, is a family-friendly destination with its calm and crystal-clear waters. The beach's lagoon location provides some of the calmest waters on the island, making it ideal for families with small children. Visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the shallow turquoise water while taking in spectacular ocean views. Additionally, there are amenities such as refreshment stands offering a variety of food options.
Beautiful beach ⛱️. Great for kids and family. Make sure you use strong sun protection product, because the sun is very aggressive, we got burned within 2 hours and we did used some sunscreen cream. If you stay in Secrets Baby Beach resort, they provide you with chairs, towels, water and beer 🍺
Pavel E — Google review
Baby Beach is absolutely beautiful! The water is crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming or snorkeling, ideal for families or anyone looking to relax. The surrounding area looks like it’s still developing, so the sights around aren’t the most scenic, but the beach itself is stunning. There isn’t much shade, so bring an umbrella, or you can rent a tent with two chairs for about $80. If you’re looking for picture-perfect water, this is your spot!
S S — Google review
Beautiful beach! Water was calm. Very family friendly. Make sure to wear water shoes as there are a lot of rocks.
Linda S — Google review
Very cozy, intimate beach. Shallow, calm water. Definitely place to spend at least 4 hrs if you busy checking multiple beaches.
Cezar O — Google review
The beach has a beautiful clear water not too deep at all on almost all the areas very suitable for kids, has a convenient restaurant in both ends of the beach. It’s up to almost all the reviews that I checked before visiting and I think it’s even prettier in person than in the pictures. In my opinion it is a good experience to visit if you have the time and a car to get there you should definitely check it out. They are a lot of wild life around, you can spot small fish in the water, seagulls flying around and lizards in the tree area. Definitely the kids love it
William H — Google review
I'm glad we took the drive to Baby Beach. Very beautiful Beach with clear water. Bathrooms like most places in Aruba is not free, and bring cash if you want a tent ($80)
Jose P — Google review
This beach is great for kids you can walk close to 500 feet and the water is up to your shoulders at most, parking is hard to find as they built a resort very close to the beach. You need a lot of Sunscreen as sun is right above you and you will be burnt very quickly. Snorkeling is available here and best time is early in the morning to see baby turtles. There are 2 food places close by Rum Reef and Big Mama both are decent places and you can get good drinks and food here, bring your own chairs or mat as the rent for chairs is $10 per chair and beach gets crowded very fast, there are no waves but rip current can get bad really fast and they have signs posted. Overall a great beach for family with small children
Gursimran D — Google review

Casibari Rock Formations, also known as Ayo Rock Formations, are a remarkable cluster of tonalite rocks in Aruba. These formations offer scenic trails and steps leading to the top, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sites carry an air of mystery with scientists puzzled about their geological origin and archaeologists fascinated by the petroglyphs and paintings presumably made by Aruba's native Arawak people.
Beautiful area! Highly recommend walking up The stairs to get a view of the entire area. The area is so calming and beautiful. It was so nice walking the entire area and viewing the rock formations. I also saw two owls which was super cool. The local that takes care of the owl and monitors the area was beyond kind and helpful. He showed the entire area and went over the history of how the rocks were formed as well as prickly pear. Side note: the locals in Aruba are extremely nice and welcoming. I had the best experience ever mostly due to how welcoming the locals were.
Shalon J — Google review
Must see and climb when visiting Aruba. The stair climb was relatively easy and the view was awesome. We did a Little Rock traversing on our own and it was a fun time. Make sure you’re experienced enough if you start climbing around.
Jay C — Google review
Really cool rock formations to hike around and take pictures. Easy to navigate for most people. Well worth the short drive and time we spent. Honestly one of our favorite activities of the week. Strung this stop with the Aloe farm (first), Ayo rock formations, and the ruins, cave pool, and natural bridge. Made for a full afternoon.
Casey J — Google review
What a very cool place to visit! I have been in the stone business for over 20 years. I was excited to find these formations on a random drive. Great stop! Its free. They have a restaurant also and looks like a pool there also. We didnt get a chance to try their food.
Cheri B — Google review
Great views. Can become crowded at top. Steep climb so take your time going up and especially coming down. Excellent spot to wander and take pictures. Many different smaller formations.
Sarah W — Google review
So surprised to be impressed by a collection of rocks and stones. It literally resembles a scene from the flintstones. Beautiful natural rock formations and cacti so tall and imposing. You can climb to the top if you're brave although the stairs are rather steep. Stayed for less than an hour. Local amenities nearby and worth adding to a days itinerary. Willllma! I couldn't help that one.😀
LilHel — Google review
This is interesting place to visit at the times when you get tired of the beaches. Luckily when I visited, there aren't many people. its completely free and I could easily climb to the top of few rocks and watch interesting rock formations. You can also get good view of city

Alto Vista Chapel, located in Aruba, is a modest Catholic chapel offering an intimate space in an elevated desert landscape. It is the highest point on the island and provides stunning views of the ocean and a unique vantage point for watching the sunset. The chapel sits at an elevation of about 80 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views over Boca Prinsi, Eagle Beach, and Arikok National Park.
Started at Alto Vista Chapel which was very beautiful. I highly recommend coming early in the morning around 6-8am to avoid the ATVs as there are tons that come here as one of their attraction stops. I started at Alto Vista and completed the hike here that was about two hours. The hike consisted of walking the coastline which was absolutely beautiful and so calming. Highly recommend bringing lots of water as it is very hot and not much shade.
Shalon J — Google review
The church is in a gorgeous setting with the cacti as its background. You may go in and light a candle or sit on a bench for peaceful meditation. The inside of the church is absolutely stunning. A labyrinth is also available to walk quietly and peacefully through.
B L — Google review
Beautiful chapel on top of the hill. There’s a small vendor selling fresh coconut water—definitely worth trying. The area is surrounded by cactus plants, which make for great photos.
Santosh G — Google review
The church is in a secluded location at the top of hill and is in beautiful setting. There is also peace labyrinth here. However, I would recommend visiting here only when you are tired of everything in the island
Chandra — Google review
Absolutely a beautiful chapel that originated in the 1750s and was remodeled in 1950s. Outdoor seating for mass services, must be special during Christmas. Added to your list, worth seeing.
Albert O — Google review
Such a lovey tiny chapel that we visited to lit a candle. The candle can be brought at the grocery. I find it interesting that this chapel was completed in 1952 and stands in the same location as the original chapel, which was built by Domingo Silvestre, the Venezuelan missionary from Santa Ana de Coro, Venezuela, in 1750.
Leah N — Google review
It's a gorgeous little church. As you leave, the side of the road has the Lord's Prayer on traffic signs.

Natural Bridge Aruba is a must-visit geological wonder caused by years of erosion from the sea. Although the largest and most visited bridge collapsed in 2005, its remains are still a major tourist attraction. The stunning limestone arches and picturesque views make it a popular spot for photography. While visitors can't walk on the bridge due to safety reasons, they can capture its beauty from the side.
Cool spot with amazing winds. Car friendly location too! Waves were great as well. Please be careful if you do end up going over to walk the natural bridge. Would recommend for a quick stop to take in the atmosphere and ambiance.
Aninda Z — Google review
This is an interesting natural rock formation that forms a bridge across a small cove located on the eastern coast of the island. There's no fee to visit, and a nice snack bar and gift shop, as well as restrooms, of which there are few on the island's east side. It cost $1 per person (cash only) to use the restrooms so come prepared] The island's east side is rocky, with dirt/sand roads and is sparsely populated. There's a much rougher surf on this side of the island with numerous spots where the surf smashes against the rocky shoreline offering excellent photo ops.
Jerry Y — Google review
Worth stopping as there is no fee. It's a natural bridge that collapsed in 2005 with another smaller bridge next to it. The ocean waves craving into the rocks were spectacular. There is a small gift shop with a rest room that does cost $1 to use.

🌊 Review: Natural Bridge – Aruba The Natural Bridge was one of the most stunning and unforgettable stops during my trip to Aruba! The contrast of the rugged coast with the wild, crashing waves was mesmerizing — there’s a kind of raw beauty to it that pictures honestly can’t capture. The water was fierce and vibrant, and standing near the bridge made me feel completely in awe of nature’s power. If you’re visiting Aruba, this is absolutely a must-see! It’s a great spot for photos, reflection, and just soaking in the island’s unique landscape. I loved every bit of it — peaceful, powerful, and breathtaking.
Jazzy H — Google review
Aruba is absolutely stunning and without a doubt a must see destination. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the island’s natural beauty, crystal clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant landscapes everywhere you turn. We took full advantage of our time there by going on several tours that allowed us to explore all corners of the island. From rugged off-road adventures and serene snorkeling spots to cultural landmarks and hidden local gems, every experience added something unique to our trip. Aruba has this incredible blend of relaxation and adventure that makes you feel like you’re in paradise. There’s still so much we didn’t get to see or do, which is why we’re already planning our return. Once you visit, you’ll understand why they call it “One Happy Island.”
Rodzilla — Google review
The Aruba Natural Bridge is a must-see landmark, even though the original large bridge collapsed in 2005. The site still offers stunning ocean views, rugged coastline scenery, and the smaller “Baby Natural Bridge,” which gives visitors a sense of the area’s unique beauty. It’s a quick stop but worth it for photos and to experience one of Aruba’s iconic natural wonders. Best combined with other nearby attractions on the island’s north coast.
Albert C — Google review
The Natural Bridge in Aruba is a cool spot to check out. The drive there is pretty fun, with some nice places to stop for photos along the way. Once you get there, you’ll find restrooms, a small café, and a few souvenir shops. We spent about 15 minutes, which was enough unless you want to hang out at the café. Definitely worth a quick visit!
Santosh G — Google review
Beautiful scenery of the surrounding area around the natural bridge. The area is rather rocky so wear your flat shoes and bring some chilled water you'll need it. This is not a long stay destination but worth seeing

Donkey Sanctuary Aruba, established in 1997, is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for over 130 injured and mistreated donkeys on the island. These animals were once used as primary transportation but are now provided with a safe haven where they receive nurturing and rehabilitation. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in feeding and caring for the donkeys or simply observe them while enjoying refreshments on the covered porch.
Very fun experience visiting and feeding the animals. We saw the donkeys, peacocks and chickens all gathering around for food. The donkeys were gentle and never bit us even when hand feeding. Only 3 dollars for a large bag of feed or 1 for a small so its budget friendly. Otherwise its free to come and explore and see the creatures.
Zachariah W — Google review
We absolutely loved the donkey sanctuary. It’s a little hidden but there are signs that lead to the sanctuary. Watch your steps as you might step in poop. They are a super friendly staff and very easy going. You can purchase feed there for a small amount of money or you can bring your own carrots and feed the donkeys. They have kittens available for adoption as well. Bathrooms have toilet and running water with soap to wash your hands after feeding. The donkeys are very sweet and friendly and will let you pet them. They do a really good job with these animals. I recommend checking it out!
Brian B — Google review
You can park and walk in through the donkey pin to the visitor center where there are toilets, a gift shop, a place to sit and little buckets of food you can buy to feed the donkeys. The food is $1 for a small scoop and $3 for a bigger scoop. When feeding the donkeys you stay behind a barrier for your safety, but otherwise you can walk around and check them out up close. My kid got to hug one. We also enjoyed the peafowl and kitties. They have cats for adoption.
Geeanna T — Google review
I fell in love with the donkeys. Most are so well behaved. They are hysterical trying to get your attention. They "smile", they have the cutest expressions on there faces as they tilt their heads. Most are incredibly gentle when taking the food from you. They have "pellet" food to buy $3 USD for a large & $1 USD for a small. They have a gift shop also where i bought stickers & a T shirt. All money helps support the sanctuary. I also brought a bag of apples that a cut up & fed to the donkeys. The donkeys really enjoy apples & carrots. Overall I had a great time and would do it again!
Nicki — Google review
A fun place for the whole family, that's a "must-see" in Aruba. And the best part is, it's free. There are dozens of donkeys 🫏 freeling wondering the compound and you are able to interact with them. There is also a visitor center where you can buy a snack, a drink, a coffee mug, a tee shirt, or make a donation. And funds go to support the refuge. This is the kind of place your kids will love regardless of their age!
Jerry Y — Google review
This place is a gem! It is so relaxed and delightful. The donkeys are lovely and gentle. They’re so happy if you bring carrots to feed them! (Fred them only from the porch, so they don’t swarm you outside!) There are peacocks and roosters roaming around, and lots of kittens! You can visit anytime during opening hours and hang out with the donkeys as you wish, no formal tours or time slots needed. It’s totally free to visit as well! Definitely the most relaxed animal encounter I’ve ever been to, with donkeys that seem very happy and healthy. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Aruba!
Rachel N — Google review
This was my first time visiting the Donkey Sanctuary, and I really enjoyed it! Feeding the donkeys was such a fun experience they’re very friendly and gentle. It’s definitely a must-do when in Aruba. Just a little tip: watch your step since there are droppings around, and wear comfortable shoes. Also, bring a few dollars for donations and to buy food for the donkeys it’s well worth it.
Daevon B — Google review
What a great place to feed the goats and the peacocks. The feeds were super affordable at $3 a bucket and you do get a lot of feeds in the bucket. We did buy the feeds bucket and also did bring some carrots for them to eat as well. The goats and peacocks did come to eat. I got a video of the rooster jump on the feed buckets for sale to eat, which was entertaining to watch.

Embark on an unforgettable underwater adventure with the Atlantis Submarine Aruba Expedition. This unique experience allows you to explore the mesmerizing marine life of Aruba without getting wet. Whether you choose to descend in the submarine or opt for the semi-sub, both options promise incredible views of fish, sea turtles, coral, and even shipwrecks. The expedition is perfect for those who may not be comfortable with scuba diving or snorkeling, making it a family-friendly activity.
This was an awesome tour. We boarded a ferry that took us out to the submarine. After boarding we immediately start seeing the beauty beneath the surface. Many species of fish swam freely around the sub. As we dove down to 140feet we saw shipwrecks, the reef, and lots more beautiful ocean creatures!!!
Kevin K — Google review
Such a fun experience. Water was a little cloudy today, but even so we saw lots of colorful fish and can now say we have been in a sub!
Susan B — Google review
This was a neat little excursion. It’s 2 hours ( 1 hour of travel time to and from the sub on a ferry, and around 1 hour on the submarine. The water seemed cloudy the day we went so visibility wasn’t as good as I hoped for. We saw several ship wrecks, a turtle, and some rays in addition to other fish. The tour guide was nice and I enjoyed his commentary.
Christopher M — Google review
If it's your first time here in aruba, do it. It's unique, fun, and informational. We saw plenty of fish, coral, sting rays and even a sea turtle!
Heather D — Google review
I went on this trip during our honeymoon and it exceeded my expectations! I had a tour at 1pm so the water was bright and clear. They brought us by a couple shipwrecks as we decended amongst coral reefs and schools of fish. The view was breathtaking and we will cherish the memories. The crew made an effort to turn around at the major viewing sights of the reef and shipwrecks so both sides of the submarine got a good look at the beauty of Aruba's ocean. My wife also really liked how on the boat stopped on the way to the submarine and let us watch as a plane flew directly over us coming in for a landing. I highly recommend this tour and it's a great way to explore the ocean while getting out of the direct sunlight for a couple hours. Shout out to Francis, Eric and Donald. Our captin and crew were very knowledgeable in Marine Biology and they history of the island!

5 star! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Boat ride is a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone in Aruba. Saw two sunken ships and lots of fish. Memorable moment!

Outdoor Activities
Arashi Beach is a hidden gem on the northwestern tip of Aruba, boasting a stunning expanse of soft white sand and crystal-clear aqua waters. This idyllic spot is perfect for families seeking a day of relaxation, swimming, or snorkeling amidst vibrant marine life. Located away from the crowded hotel scene near the California Lighthouse, Arashi offers amenities like showers and lounge chair rentals, along with occasional live music at its local bar.
Great beach but can get very crowded late morning and early afternoon, especially during the weekend. Tiki hut is needed for the intense sun so get there early! Great place to watch the sunset and snorkel.
T A — Google review
Beach was really nice, some rocks that are easily avoidable if you glance down. Overall a busy beach but not impossible to get a spot even if you come in the early afternoon. Would recommend driving past the beach hut restaurant and going down like you're heading to the lighthouse then taking a left onto the sand road. Then coming back towards the beach you'll almost always find better parking and parking that you can basically unload your car straight onto the beach.
Tyler F — Google review
This beach is one of my favorites! The water, the white sand, and the entire area are simply breathtaking. If you’re in the area and looking for a great beach, head north on One Happy Island and enjoy this natural beauty. There’s a bar and restaurant nearby, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch the ice cream truck. Chairs and umbrellas are also available for rent.
Mike D — Google review
Turquoise water beautiful sunsets it’s a really enjoyable beach for family and friends, you can a have a palapa if you get early or you can rent an umbrella and beds there price may vary depending on days and how busy also different people has those available, look for best price!
William H — Google review
Stunning beach (clean and soft sand!) with good snorkeling (we saw lots of fish and a sea turtle). Also a bonus of cool lizards! If you catch the ice cream truck go for it! He has good prices and yummy ice cream!
Samir B — Google review
Arashi beach is not that big, it has free parking lot, and you can park at the side of the road also. There are palapas that are free, but they are mostly taken. Even if you take palapas there are rude people that will just sit with you without asking if they can join, and take most of the palapas. There are also few palms that can give you some small shade and there are maybe 2 bushes as well, but for me bushes are unsanitary because i saw what some people do in the bushes (like blowing their noses here, yuck). You can find wasps in some bushes and animal droppings. You can rent umbrellas but i din’t ask about the price, i think is 35+ dollars like everywhere else, for only umbrella. Sunbed is usually 10$. Water is nice color if it is sunny, but bad if it is cloudy. It gets deep quickly and most of the beach is full of rocks. But it is better on the right side of the beach because there is a small strip where water is shallow. But current is strong and there can be strong waves. Winds are super strong, like everywhere else, and they are making it impossible to enjoy being in the beach or even in water- getting your hair wet is hard task because you will be cold. Also internet here is the worst. We paid e-sim card and carried it with ourselves but no internet here. Even wifi from the beach bar is bad. Baby beach was my favorite beach on island, and Eagle beach is better choice than Arashi, but Arashi is my 3rd choice.
Jelena J — Google review
One of my favorite beaches so far, it wasn’t too busy and the prices for drinks and snacks are quite decent. Just make sure to bring your own umbrella and chairs for a more convenient vibe.
Slango L — Google review
One of my favorite beaches in Aruba. Compared to baby and eagle beach, Arashi has slightly stronger waves which made it a lot more fun.

The Aruba Ostrich Farm is a unique outdoor experience where visitors can interact with around 80 ostriches. This prehistoric-like bird sanctuary offers the opportunity to feed these magnificent creatures, hold real ostrich eggs, and learn about their habits on a guided tour. In addition to ostriches, the farm is also home to emus, peacocks, ducks, roosters, and lizards.
Awesome experience! Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. You get an upclose experience with the Ostriches. In fact, you even get to hand feed them! Definitely one of the greater highlights of your trip!
Better Y — Google review
Neat and unique experience while on vacation in Aruba. The tour is informative and kid friendly! There is no shade like most places on the island so make sure you have adequate sun protection. The restaurant and cafe is worth a stop as well—they had unique options like ostrich eggs or ostrich meat. Unfortunately, they were out of those options when we were there, but it is a good marketing feature. There’s a beautiful view of the east side of the island as well. Absolutely recommend.
Britt — Google review
We had so much fun learning about the Ostriches & Emus. We were able to feed some for them which was a great experience. They all have names, and seem to know it, which personalized the experience even more. Great experience, Great time, knowledgeable staff, good food & drink. Would do it again!
Nicki — Google review
So fun! My wife and I were the only ones on the tour and it was great! Very informative and our guide was super nice! Many different species of birds to see around the farm and we even got to feed some of the ostriches! Definitely worth stopping in on the way to or from the gold mill/natural bridge!
Nick — Google review
We really enjoyed visiting the farm. The ostriches were beautiful and our tour guide really educated us about them!
Kelly A — Google review
Check out the ostriches and emus on their tour. Mond sun protection as the 30-40 minute tour has limited shade on those hot days. Feed the birds for a photo op!
Sean C — Google review
Such a great visit. Needed a break from just sitting on the beach so took the annual ride over to the natural bridge and passed this farm. Went on our way back from the bridge. It was educational and very interesting. Loved the birds. Worth the visit. Highly recommend. Fed the birds and learned a lot. Guided tour.
Jackie B — Google review
Had high expectations after reading the reviews but the tour was underwhelming. The ostriches were awesome and we enjoyed feeding them, but the tour itself was boring. The young lady in the gift shop could have cared less to help us. We wanted to order food but her attitude made us leave. Really wanted to love this place.

Geologic Formations
Ayo Rock Formations, located northeast of Hooiberg in Aruba, is a tranquil and awe-inspiring site with massive diorite boulders. The area was once considered sacred by the Arawak people, who left petroglyphs on the rocks. Modern pathways allow visitors to explore this ancient site and appreciate Aruba's unique flora and fauna.
Free parking and free entry. You can view some ancient rock drawings and walk along a path leading through large tonalite boulders on an outcrop. There is one tricky spot to get through where you need to get through a narrow opening requiring you have to keep your head low and step up a bit higher to proceed towards the exit.
Jo G — Google review
Impressive rock formation and cacti park🌵 - which are truly native to Aruba! There are a few little hills where you can climb to see the view from the top: an old inactive volcano and landscaping around. Some cool lizards on the rock too… We went here through ABC tour -highly recommended !
Qween A — Google review
Free. Amazing experience if you like history and nature. Beautiful spot. We were the only people there. There is a rock with a blue fence around it that has pictograms in it from ~1092 AD. Also very cool to climb between the large rocks. There is a path but its a bit tricky to get through unless you climb on all fours and squeeze through some spaces. Would not recommend going all the way back if you have mobility issues. Can easily see the pictograms though with no climbing or squeezing required.
Dylan — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! Be sure to bring some water with as it’s hot and exposed to equatorial sun! :) Free to all and very informative placards and signs. Good, solid bathrooms on site! 👍💪☮️⚒️

Come see massive rocks and Indian pictures in some of the caves. You may even encounter some goats along the way to the top. Take in the awe of some huge cactus growing right from the rocks!
Jimmy T — Google review
This place was amazing, don't skip it. There is a trail you can follow or get off it and explore at your own risk. There are indigenous paintings. Take care of the cactuses, that you will also find all over the island. Entrance is free and there was no poeple when I went. Good place to have a small walk, take pictures or relax.
Robin G — Google review
Great place to stop and explore. It's free to visit. Not recommended for people with walking issues.there is an easy path that doesn't go up into the rocks. Stairs lead in and out of the rocks. There is one spot that you need to crawl three feet to slide through the opening. Other than that, it's quite accessible. Worth the stop

The Aruba Aloe Factory Museum and Store, located in Hato, offers free educational tours and features a gift shop in a beautiful setting. Visitors can join guided tours led by native Aruba Aloe tour guides, available in multiple languages throughout the day. The tours provide insight into the domestication of the aloe plant and the manufacturing processes behind aloe-based skin care products.
We visited Aruba Aloe Factory on a Monday at about 1:33pm. My wife and I took the tour and it was very interesting. The tour guide was very informative and had a lot of humor. He made it fun and was always open for any questions (tour is free). We bought a couple of the products from the store and you can tell immediately on the level of comfort on our sunburned skin. Yes...we were sunburned. I highly recommend getting the Hydrating Aloe Rich Sunscreen (SPF 50+). We also bought the After Sun Extra Cooling Lotion and it felt amazing on our skin. Definitely a nice little visit. We were there for about 40 minutes. So if you have time...take a visit. You will not regret it.

Small but cute place and the tour was free. Gives some history and you’ll learn some thing’s. The guy giving the tour had an attitude when I approached him to ask about the tour. He then gave a great explanation and was upbeat during the tour. You get to go upstairs and see the workers. It’s interesting. Of course you shop and they have special deals. The bathroom was clean.

We had a nice tour with JC who was very friendly. He told us a lot about the history of aloe on the island and how the aloe is processed. We got to try lots of products and the cashier provided helpful information. The bathrooms were nice; it was very much appreciated. It's worth a stop, especially for a free tour if you like historical info.

A must-visit in Aruba! 🇦🇼🌿 The Aruba Aloe Factory & Museum offers a free tour that’s both educational and inspiring. You’ll learn about aloe cultivation, sustainable practices, and the company’s deep loyalty to their staff—plus they’ve even earned a Dutch quality seal! 🇳🇱 🌱 You can sample products along the way, then end in the gift shop where you can score a free gift by joining the VIP club. Honestly, I wish I had brought an empty suitcase just for the deals and high-quality products—they’re that good! 📸 Don’t miss the aloe fields and cute photo spots! This place is a gem, and it's clear they’re doing meaningful work for both their team and the environment.

We had a great time on the jeep tour. Our guide Luis was great, he was fun and informative. We went to the national park to see the caves and a stop at baby beach for swimming and snorkeling. We had a fun tour of the island and would definitely go again.

Coolest tour! My daughter loves sea turtles and seeing one was her one wish for vacation. The catamaran and snorkeling tour was perfect for what we were looking for. We met a really nice family from Brazil and spent a lot of time chatting with them. The three different stops were so cool and such different experiences. I suggest using the life vest, especially if you’re not a strong swimmer! I did not wear it, but the water was slightly rough and the currents were strong. I think my kids would have struggled without the life jackets! We got some great videos of the turtles, fish, and ship wreck. The crew was funny, knowledgeable, and helpful and the music was awesome! I even used Shazam and added some of the music to my Apple Music library! We will definitely return on our next trip to Aruba! Thank you!

Private Luxury Catamaran Sunset Sail – De Palm Tours Aruba My wife and I booked the Private Luxury Catamaran Sunset Sail for $1,800 with transportation included from Secrets Baby Beach in San Nicolas to the De Palm Pier in Noord. The drive was about an hour each way, but everything started great — our driver was on time, and when we arrived, Captain Marcos and Osmar greeted us warmly. The catamaran was beautiful, the open bar and food were great, and the music selection was perfect (though you can barely hear it from the front deck). Osmar went above and beyond — taking photos, serving drinks, and making sure we enjoyed every minute. The only issue came at the end. After the sail, we waited about 30 minutes for our ride back, and instead of private transportation, they sent a bus with 30 other people. That part felt disappointing after paying for a private experience. Overall, I’d still recommend this tour — the crew and the catamaran were fantastic, but double-check your return transportation so your luxury experience ends as smoothly as it starts.

My girls and I had a time! It was so much fun being on the boat and snorkeling in the water. The drinks and light bites provided were yummy. Such a fun experience at a great value! Bring sandals, as you board pirate style (via a tender/dinghy from the beach). Get there early for your choice of seat. The snacks hit the spot, and they're generous with the cocktails! Staff is super nice and communicates protocol very clearly for a safe ride. We had a watersports surprise too that was really fun. Recommend!

What an absolutely breathtaking experience! The captain and his crew were amazing. Each were attentive to our needs and kept the drinks flowing and finger foods coming. Although I was only one onboard solo, I never felt alone. I befriended a married couple and we laughed and chatted the evening away. The music was a mixture of old school and new school. They even played Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" song in celebration of my 43rd birthday. This experience is definitely one of my favorites during my time in Aruba.
Lakesha B — Google review
The crew was really friendly and did a great job with drinks, passed apps, etc. The actual boating journey is short, but that’s ok, too. Wasn’t a big time commitment. If the price fits with you, then it’s a great way to spend a couple of hours.
Brant B — Google review
This was one of the best experiences our group has experienced. Between the instruction and encouragement for the ones that never have snorkeled, the food and drinks it was the best ever. The crew was amazing (Martin, Shaka, Alex) it was one of the best times we have had in Aruba. We can not wait to come back and cruise with them again!!
Jessica G — Google review
Been on this cruise multiple times. Until last year, it has always been good. However, we feel we were cheated last year. Late start, early return, rushed drinks, poor quality snacks (and very little of them). Crew was nice but we felt rushed the entire time. We left about 20 minutes late and came back about 20 minutes early. So the 2 hour trip we paid for was actually a little over an hour. I emailed Octopus twice. No response. I was on a live chat with them. Again, twice. I was told my concern will be escalated and would receive a reply by the end of the day. Nothing. I went on live chat again. I was told to leave my email address and someone would contact me. Nothing. I will be trying Dolphin or Red Sail this year... We were very satisfied with previous sunset cruises on Octopus. But not this one. I was not asking for a refund. I was not asking for a future discount. I wasn't asking for anything other than someone to talk to me. I received nothing. If they had just responded with a simple apology, I would've been happy. Too late now. They lost our business. 9/13/2025 UPDATE... Ricardo (from Octopus Aruba) finally responded to my emails. He offered 2 complimentary sails, which I thought was kind. The 4 of us will sail with them again this October. I'll let you know how it goes. 10/30/2025 UPDATE... BEST SUNSET CRUISE EXPERIENCE ON THE ISLAND!!! We book a sunset cruise with Octopus every time we're in Aruba. And we've been there often. This year's cruise was, without exception, the best one we've ever been on. Captain Martin, Ivan and Jamal showed us the BEST time! The service, food and drinks were amazing...and the sunset was spectacular! From the moment I booked through Ricardo, to when we were greeted at the sign-in station behind the Holiday Inn, until the time we set foot back on the beach, it was non-stop fun. I can't recommend this cruise...or this TEAM...enough. Last year had to be an anomaly. What a difference this year! I'm SO glad we rebooked with Octopus. We're already planning our return and Octopus Sunset Cruise will definitely be on our "don't miss" list of things to do! You should, too. You'll be glad you did!
MikCar M — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience! We saw four sea turtles up close which was such a breathtaking moment. Then we snorkeled over the sunken Antilla ship, which was both beautifully eerie and fascinating to explore. There were tons of colorful fish swimming all around. Lex was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, fun, and making us feel comfortable and safe in the open water. Truly an unforgettable adventure, highly recommend!

Palm Island is a private island off the coast of Aruba, accessible only by boat. It features a resort, white-sand beaches, and various water sports activities. The island offers an all-inclusive day trip with unlimited buffet and open bar, snorkeling opportunities at its own coral reef, banana boat rides, beach volleyball, salsa lessons, and more.
Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I got the upgrade to private seating by the flamingos which was definitely worth it. Private bar never had more than 1 person in line and there was a waitress if I wanted to stay in my chair.
MrFormido — Google review
We spent a whole day here with our group. It’s not the best place to swim because the shores are so rocky and pebbly but there are plenty of lounge chairs. Drinks and food were included as part of the package. There was a snack bar as well as a buffet where you could sit down and eat. There’s a water park and also a kids water park for the younger ones. If you wanted, you could also reserve the VIP area with the flamingos. They also have snorkeling and banana boat riding.
Nancy — Google review
The food and drinks area needs better service, and the quality of both was just average. The island itself is quite small, and interacting with the flamingos comes at an additional cost. The beach is very rocky, so I recommend bringing water shoes. Overall, I found the attraction to be quite expensive for what it offers.
Viviana L — Google review
Was what we expected, lots of flamingos, coral island so coral beach, bring crocs or water shoes, buffet was ok, hamburger stand was ok, burgers were sub-par, definitely not ground beef. Most of the Staff was not happy to be working, little to no communication with the guests. Very few were interactive.. slide opened late but it did open eventually. Fee was $120 to get in. We parked at the ferry, no cost for that. Don't need to upgrade to see flamingos. Bana boat was fun, snorkeling was good. Drinks were included.. hope this helps someone
Daron S — Google review
First and foremost it was very clean. The food was good and the buffet was enclosed in glass for those of us that like our food pest free. If you are looking for a pristine beach this isn't it. The beach is rocky and could use some sand but the water was great. The water slides and water obstacles are well maintained. Easy 25 minute bus ride from the port. Nice air conditioned bus. Jose in bus 89 was great.

De Palm Island is a nice area to visit. It has plenty of attractions for all age groups, beautiful water along with flamingo and tortoises to entertain you.
Angel P — Google review
Had a blast at De Palm Island with a group of 10 when we visited in July 2024. Not sure why others are complaining about as there is plenty to do in the several hours of all day fun. We came with De Palm Tours and was picked up from our resort in Noord and enjoyed a comfortable ride to and from the Island. The food was pretty good, we had burgers and a nacho style fries. Unlimited drinks of which we had cokes, pina coladas, and water. Ice cream is $6 and there are several things which cost extra but the included activities and amenities are more than enough. We enjoyed snorkeling 3 times and our two boys both got to experience snorkeling. Our youngest, with a little convincing from parents went snorkeling for the first time. We were so proud of him. His only complaint was ,"why is the water salty?" 😂. The slides are great here especially the tallest one which includes a drop but had a height restriction of 48". The banana boat was a highlight of the day as well. It was very fun and our group none of us fell off but you do get slightly wet. Overall, a very fun day in the sun. 5 stars for De Palm Island and two thumbs up for a great day of family fun and making memories.
Brian H — Google review
Not worth the money or hype. The island is very small and there are not enough perks to warrant the cost. The food tastes below average, with the exception of the mash potatoes and fish fillets. Seriously, the food tastes bland and there is barely any variety. It's all low quality. Drinks are watered down but I guess that's expected. In short, this tastes like any other all-inclusive food you're probably familiar with. The water park has only 3 slides. No floaties, no fun Jacuzzis or pools or anything like that. They do have a kid park though. There is a lack of activities here. They offered one salsa dance lesson from 2-2:30 but that was it. Some more activities would be great. Snorkeling is what you make of it. The banana boat ride is pretty fun when you're with a group of people. However, they started this around 12pm opposed to the 10am start time that was advertised. Ultimately, it's what you make of it. It can get boring quickly and a lot of people end up sitting by the beach side and napping.

We enjoyed all of our excursions , but this one was our favorite. We felt safe with cocoa and sendo leading our kayak and snorkeling tour they knew the area very well and kept an eye out on everyone. Carlos, our driver was fun and followed along with us our entire trip. We didn’t have to worry about our personal items as he had them in the van and didn’t leave them. He was so much fun and there was never a dull moment. The brewery we stopped at for lunch had a great selection and was very nice

The staff was nice, and that was the absolute best part of the entire experience. I mean it's a good business model they're running but I'm pretty sure it's a one and done for me. Personally, my experience wasn't all that great. I felt like the equipment was pretty sub par to say the least. A better investment into snorkeling equipment would boost this experience. I felt like I was just trying to survive at some points. My companion felt the same but we never complained, mind you we're both decent swimmers. This is not for the novice by any means. Again the staff is nice.

Fun kayak tour, guides were helpful but quiet. Prepare for the winds as you come out of the bay as well as the current when swimming out over the reefs. You will need average or above upper body strength to keep up.

The guides were knowledgeable, and friendly. The kayaking was not to strenuous. Snorkeling was spectacular, we were able to see a lot of different sea life. Lunch at the Balashi brewery was average. Overall a great experience. I like that we were supporting a smaller local business

We are a family of four that took this trip July 6th. We had a great time. Carlos was a wonderful driver and we had a great time with him. Cocoa was informative bout the safety on the water and when kayaking. Santo made sure if anyone was having trouble that he was there to help and tow them if they needed it. I did not snorkel long but my family enjoyed it. I know my boundaries but the guides were also helpful with that and safety conscious. Bier garden had great food and beer. Great way to end our day!!! Loved the tour. Thank you!!!!

Had a wonderful time with 2 great kayak guides that would ajust the speed to the group, but would also alow the faster ones to go at their paste. Snorkeling was amazing but I recomend wearing a shirt under the vest to avoid sunburns. Carlos the driver was fantastic and fun to chat with. We also forgot (never even noticed) a towel in the van and Carlos dropped it off at our place with a small note the next day. As of yet our best experience in Aruba!

Amazing! Went with my brothers and father, ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. It was my 1st time snorkeling and kayaking, with help of Koko, Kiki, and Sandol, I felt completely comfortable doing both. The activities were great, but the service you get from the people running the show is what takes it over the top! I would have felt comfortable paying $50 more. They will have you laughing and smiling the entire day, worth every penny. Can't miss experience!!!

We just did the kayak and snorkeling trip to Mangel Halto Reef. While it poured rain during our kayaking trip and the water was rough, It was still a blast and the rain cooled us down considerably. The sun came out for snorkeling and the reef was well worth the trip. It was simply amazing. The whole trip was a good workout for me and my girlfriend who are in our 50s. Carlos, our driver was great. The two guides were very professional. Safety appears to be of the utmost concern which I appreciate. The lunch at the brewery was good and the Balashi beer tasted better there than in the bottles. The beer garden was underwhelming though and needs to be improved.

With its perfect service and delectable food, it provides an unforgettable evening by the water with torches and lanterns creating a magical ambiance. The menu boasts grilled meats and seafood sampler platters featuring Caribbean lobster tail, shrimp, grouper, and mahi-mahi. This restaurant is known for its fabulous dinner under the stars accompanied by the soothing sound of ocean waves.
We had a lovely experience at Passions On The Beach for our last night celebration to Diva friends before leaving the beautiful and happy island of Aruba. I highly recommend this restaurant on the beach. Food and service was excellent. The surprise complimentary friendship deserts was an added bonus. The live jazz renditions was wonderful and lively. Option to get up and dance if you wanted to shake of your meal or dance cheek to check with your love one.

This spot quickly became my favorite spot to be at in Aruba. First of all I love the clean beachfront that they have. Also chair rental is very reasonable and you don’t need umbrellas because you have Thatched Palapas everywhere. I had both lunch and dinner here and it was amazing. At 5:00 they set up tables on the beach close to the water for dinner. It instantly becomes a very romantic experience. The food is really good and between the service and the atmosphere you couldn’t ask for more. If you are in Aruba this is a must see destination on your trip.

Everything was great. Food is delicious, ribeye steak with the asparagus and mushrooms was amazing. The watermelon salad was delicious, nice size portions, worth the price $$, the atmosphere is great. Very relaxing and romantic, watch the sun set. Great place.

Passions On The Beach is an incredible dining experience! The atmosphere is absolutely magical. We went for dinner and received phenomenal service from start to finish. The complimentary champagne was such a thoughtful touch, and the food was excellent — especially the salmon!

We celebrated our anniversary here, and Rishena made it truly special! She was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed throughout the evening. Every detail — from her smile to her thoughtful service — made our dinner unforgettable. Thank you, Rishena, for making our special night even more perfect. If we come back again, we’ll definitely ask for you! 💕

We always make it a point to have dinner here when in Aruba. The food is good and consistent and the sunset is beautiful. Its nice being out on the beach hearing the waves and seeing the sailboats go by. The service has always been good and its great because the kids can still play in the sand as the adults finish their drinks. Last night they had an amazing electric guitarist playing nice music.

We came here for dinner for our anniversary and the scenery was gorgeous. Food was amazing, and overall had a great experience. The staff went above and beyond for us with a champagne toast and dessert on the house for our anniversary! Juan David was an exceptional server! Answered all our questions, had great recommendations, so friendly and sweet, and made our experience so easy and smooth! Would def come back!

Our first and one of our best dining experiences during our visit to Aruba! Absolutely stunning, romantic oceanside setting with seating right on the lovely Eagle Beach, which has one of the best sunset views on the Island. And unlike Flying Fishbone whereby the beautiful setting is unfortunately not matched by the food, Passions puts as much tender loving care on your plate as they do on your other senses. Friendly, attentive service, delicious appetizers and seafood, and a must try key lime pie for desert (coming from someone who normally doesn't even like key lime pie). Believe the hype when it comes to Passions By The Beach!

Argentinian restaurant
El Gaucho is a renowned Argentine restaurant situated in a charming colonial townhouse on Wilhelminastraat in Aruba. It holds the distinction of being the first Argentine restaurant to open on the island. The menu features an array of delectable dishes, including Argentine steaks, sirloins, and the impressive Pincho Torro Caliente – a colossal shish kebab.
Dining at El Gaucho was an unforgettable experience. The food is absolutely spectacular—every bite was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service? Also top-notch. The staff is attentive, professional, and clearly well-trained. Now, let’s talk about the price… also spectacular—spectacularly high. It’s definitely on the expensive side, especially considering that the prices are in U.S. dollars, not the local Aruban florin. For two people, you’re easily looking at a bill between $80 to $100, even without going overboard. One thing to note: a 15% service charge is automatically added to the bill, even for parties of two. And if you’re not paying close attention, your server might still ask for an additional tip on top of that. Overall though, the experience was excellent, and the quality of the food speaks for itself. If you’re in Aruba and want to treat yourself to a special dinner, El Gaucho won’t disappoint.
Dr R — Google review
Fantastic food, but customer service is somewhat lacking. Gaucho has always been a staple restaurant for our Aruba trips, but in the past few visits the service has been a bit off. For starters, the hostess always has an attitude, and despite having reservations, you will always have to wait for a table. One group of 6 people before us told us they had been waiting almost 1.5 hours for their table that they had a reservation for! The waiters were very friendly, but this time around we felt very rushed to order and eat. As we were placing the order for one item the waiter would try to run off and we had to tell him “please wait, we’re not done ordering yet”. The bus boys were cleaning off the tables so fast! My mom even told them “I’m not done with this yet” when they asked if she was done, but she turned around 2 minutes later and her plate has been cleared. The food however is fantastic. My rib eye steak was perfectly cooked, the soup was great, and my dessert cocktail was perfection in a cup! We also loved the guitarist that was roaming around from table to table to add some ambience!

Always an annual visit when we go to Aruba. This Argentinian Steak is out of this world! My wife and I always split the Argentine Grill meal, which comes with 5 different meats, and for $55 it’s not a bad deal. For our appetizer we got the meat empanadas. Tasty! For a beverage I got the mudslide, always get it here and never a disappointment. Also, they did a lot of renovations to the place! When you first walk in we noticed the bar was lit-up with new marble granite counter tops. In the dining area they had a whole wine bottle wall setup, looked really nice. Definitely much brighter in the facility as before was much dimmer. Would definitely make reservations in advance! Service overall was great, there definitely good about refilling your waters consistently. My wife and I drove there from the Surf Club, it’s about 15ish min drive, and we park in the street right after the restaurant, right along the little swamp/canal area. Definitely make a trip here if you have not gone yet, the atmosphere and the steak, especially is amazing. Come and enjoy!

The Argentinian grilled meat plate was amazing. Every piece of meat was made so well. The Caribbean seafood plate was cooked very well but not my favourite way to Eat seafood. Next time I go I will opt in to the meat plate.

El gaucho was a great time! Our waiter Lyndon is phenomenal and the gentleman playing the guitar was a great time. The food was delicious and largely portioned. Although shame on the manager for running out of ribeyes. Drinks were tasty. Can’t wait to go back and see Lyndon although I believe he needs to take over as manager!!! He knows his stuff!!

Overall: 4/5 Our first steakhouse on the island; we all really enjoyed the flavours. My uncle recommended it as he was visiting again after 20+ years! Food - 4/5 - Decently priced flavourful steak. Each set of 2 people shared a Gaucho, as it was a pound of meat. It was an Argentinian steak, and the seasoning and cook tasted great… We all really enjoyed it. The complimentary garlic bread was so tasty as well, I think I had like 6 in total. Also, you get 3 sides included with a main, so it was all really good value! The empanadas were juicy and tasty too! Ambiance - 5/5 - The place had a nice charm, given how old it is, and it was just well-kept and didn’t just feel like a typical restaurant. Service - 4/5 - We had a large group of 16 adults and 3 children, and they really helped accommodate our table and reservation, despite a few changes the day of. It would be a 5/5, but the only thing that our table didn’t appreciate was that the tip wasn’t apart of the service charge. We made many reservations on the island, with most places adding a 15-18% service charge to the bill, but an additional tip was never given or asked for. I am happy to tip, but the whole thing didn’t make much sense because 1) the service charge isn’t considered tip (so what is it then?) 2) if we sat in 5 different tables of 4 people each, then we wouldn’t have had this service charge and 100% of the tip would’ve gone to the servers, which it rightfully should. However, the service was indeed really good, and the servers went above and beyond, so it’s really just this “surprise” that wasn’t expected.

The steaks are well seasoned. The take-out menu is ideal for a good portion of meats at a very reasonable price. Get the Picada land for about 20$ (2 skewers of tenderloin, a sausage, beef ribs, and spare ribs with a side of garlic bread and sauces). They also have a loyalty card, the 12th meal is free!

Pinchos Bar and Grill is a charming open-air restaurant located on a pier extending into the Caribbean Sea in Oranjestad. The casual yet chic eatery offers a funky bar, seating with fabulous water views, and an alluring setting under twinkling blue lights. Specializing in grilled dishes and tapas-style small plates, it's perfect for sharing and sampling various flavors.
Food and service were beyond amazing. We booked our reservations for 6:00 p.m. and it was wonderful because we got to see the sunset and nighttime views from the dinner table. You absolutely need reservations here ESPECIALLY if you are a large group. Make sure that they also confirm your reservation otherwise it's not booked yet. Food was outstanding. One of the best restaurants I've been to in years. 10/10 and I will highly recommend to family and friends who go to Aruba.

Food was good, great views, fun seeing the fish in the water. Service was great. Food was not our favorite on the island but again, it was still good. Biggest complaint was the heat. We went at 6:30 when the sun was set and I know you cannot control the weather but there was no breeze (not sure if that's normal on this part of the island or what) no fans, no air circulation at all, there were tents for shade over us but I think that was holding in heat at that point.

My family and I booked dinner here and loved it so much we came back the next night. The ambience is so beautiful especially at sunset. I truly cannot rave enough about the food. Myself and my family all considered our dishes a literal 10/10. The coconut shrimp is phenomenal and the filet mignon is the best I have ever had. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

We called ahead for a table and were seated immediately upon arrival. The view was unbelievable as we enjoyed the sunset by the water. We could also see fish swimming under us as it got dark. The drinks were good and the food was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and professional and it made our experience perfect. We will definitely be back next time we come to Aruba!

This was our second time to Aruba, but our first time to Pinchos. We got lucky the day off and called and they had an opening. Nice welcoming environment, lovely view over the water with the sunset in the back. Jeysh or server was nice, friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. She answered our questions without hesitation. She gave us our space and everything was timed accordingly. The food was good, nothing to complain about, nice presentation and above par, which we were ok with. I would go back for a nice dinner out. Jeysh, thank you for welcoming us. See you next time. Ron and Nickie

Wonderful food and service. Food was pristine! Eating on the dock is cool but the breeze was blocked by the bar/kitchen so it was humid!

Pinchos Grill was one of the best dining experiences we had in Aruba. The atmosphere is beautiful — dining right over the water with the sunset. We first ordered the seafood bisque which was unbelievably tasty! Following we had the lobster and filet mignon. Both were excellent. The lobster was fresh, tender, and full of flavor, while the filet mignon was cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everything came together to make the evening special for our anniversary. If you’re visiting Aruba and want a romantic spot with excellent seafood and steak, Pinchos Grill is an absolute must.

De Palm Island is an offshore private island in Aruba that offers all-inclusive day trips with a variety of activities for visitors. Whether you opt for a full or half-day adventure, your entry fee covers access to numerous activities such as ziplining, salsa lessons, and banana boat rides. The island is just a short ferry ride away from the mainland and provides something for everyone in the family.
Worth the day trip. We enjoyed our day on the island. We just did regular, not the secluded/adult only area. That area has a fence around it and you can "be" with the flamingos, but you can also take pictures from the fence with the flamingos. The snorkeling was good, we saw plenty of beautiful fish. Lunch was really good, buffet style but you can have as much as you want; same for drinks (Liquor/Sodas/Juices). My hubby went down the water slides and enjoyed them all. We did the Salsa lesson as well and that was fun. The negatives are few: if you don't get there early, you wont get a hut. There is shade under the trees BUT the birds are there too, enough said. Servers don't come around, so you have to get your own drinks. Luckily we went on a day with no cruises, because it would've been over crowded I'm sure. Would've been nice if ice cream or snow cones would be included but you can pay for them (Cash Only)

A picturesque day chilling with flamingos, clouds and sun. Don't forget you can enjoy snorkeling, snuba, scuba or just floating in the ocean. And when you get hungry there's an all you can eat buffet and grill station. Also stay hydrated with unlimited drinks for everyone age.

Very fun day at De Palm Island. Upgraded to premium seating so we could sit in the area with the Flamingos. It was a great experience. You can't feed or them. However they do get up close and personal.

We spent the entire day at De Palm Island. We must've picked a very great day because there wasn't a lot of people. They had many activities to do from snorkeling, laying on the beach, viewing the pelicans, and going on the banana boat. The food was good it's all you can eat so you can't complain. I enjoyed all the activities. I will say the only disappointment was the slide were closed due to construction, which wasn't told to us before hand. I was looking forward to sliding down the slide. Overall though it was a pleasant place to visit and definitely recommend for a adventure.
Symone G — Google review
The more people you take with you the more fun you'll have. Don't go for the food bc we all know all inclusive food is never great. However the alcohol is pretty decent.
Benjiro — Google review
Over all it was a good experience but they still have some work to do. Beach- very rocky and pretty much limited to a small cove. Seating- plenty of shade, a few good spots under a tree. Food- good options for all. Salad bar and fruits were great! Transportation - pickup was 15-20 mins late. Driver had a great personality & gave plenty of fun facts. Drive was roughly 25 mins from Marriott surf club to the port. Take your reservation paper or email, they couldn't find me even though I had confirmed with the driver. Drop off- this was a mess, they do not coordinate buses to hotels so anyone and everyone get on every bus. It took us almost an hr to get back to ours and must have been 8-10 stops. This could be reminded with a little coordination by them. Snorkeling- was plentiful, the fish were out and flaunting their stuff! Birds!!!!!! They do nothing to control the birds, they jump on your plate, in your drinks and simply a nuisance. We wouldn't do it again but it was nice to do it once. Just a little pricey for the over all experience.
Gene R — Google review
We had a great day at Palm Island and had a great time. The food was good, except I wish more of the activities were included in the price. However, we did pay for the SeaTreK, which was an incredible experience.
Jose P — Google review
We visited De Palm Island during our honeymoon in Aruba, and unfortunately it was a major disappointment. The experience cost nearly $150 per person, and it simply wasn’t worth it. The island is tiny — you can literally walk from one end to the other in under a minute. For the price, we expected something special, but honestly, there are nicer water parks and beaches almost anywhere else. The food was terrible. We tried the buffet, but after one bite, we both felt sick to our stomachs. The only redeeming part of the experience was the staff, who were genuinely kind and friendly. The bartenders were wonderful, but unfortunately the drinks themselves were not great — overly sugary, and the beer tasted watered down. The beach area (unless you pay an additional few hundred dollars for a private cabana) was tiny, rocky, and uncomfortable, even with water shoes. It’s shocking that a place like this charges such a high price for what you get. If you’re traveling with small children, they might enjoy the few water slides, but for adults looking for a relaxing, high-quality beach experience — this isn’t it. Save your money and go literally anywhere else on the island.

The Butterfly Farm Aruba is a nature sanctuary where visitors can immerse themselves in a rainforest-like enclosure filled with hundreds of colorful butterflies. The experience offers guided tours through a tropical paradise, complete with fragrant flowers, lush trees, waterfalls, and serene ponds. Guests can learn about the lifecycles of butterflies and observe spectacular species from around the world. Additionally, they have the opportunity to purchase butterfly-related souvenirs to commemorate their visit to this natural haven.
My husband and I came to Aruba for our honeymoon. We were recommended the Butterfly farm. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. As we walked around, a staff member approached us and offered a tour. She was very knowledgeable, super nice and was happy to answer questions. On tour, we saw the entire life cycle of the butterfly (starting with the eggs on the plants, we were able to touch the caterpillars, they have many stations for the cocoons/ chrysalises and of course the adult butterflies). She also showed us the different types of species of butterflies/moths and explained some really cool facts about feeding, breeding, life span etc. Super informative! We would recommend going when it opens at 8:30. It wasn’t super busy and not too warm! The boutique is super cute. We got a few souvenirs. They also offer you a ticket that allows you to come back for free (it’s valid for a one time visit and good for up to a month). They also have a small cafe with drinks so you can feel refreshed too. Would highly recommend! :)

Thanks for a great experience!

Don't hesitate to try this place! Such a fun and amazing experience. Its so beautiful inside, it is small but still worth the visit. The tour guide is very educational about the butterfly's life cycle. The gift shop is cute as well. Theres a nice patio before you enter where you can hang out and watch the birds play in the bird bath if you'd like before or after the butterfly experience. Your ticket includes revisits and we definitely intend to come back during our stay here in Aruba.

My wife and I came on Wednesday at 1:00pm. It was a nice little butterfly farm. We enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of all the different butterflies. There are different sitting areas around the farm. So you can sit and enjoy watching the butterflies fly around you. The entrance fee was 19 dollars per adult. You can buy yourself a smoothie before going in because it gets hot inside. There is also a cute souvenir store at the entrance.

I’ve been to many other butterfly exhibits (Calloway Gardens, Butchart Gardens, Brookside Gardens) but this was even better. So many butterflies in a beautiful setting with lots of flowers and pond. This place is worth a visit! We went early in the morning while the caretakers were feeding the animals and they allowed us to feed the monkeys!! I was also able to hold a baby tortoise which is one of my favorite animals! Loved this place. Takes about 40 minutes to walk the entire place.

My husband and I went for a visit while we were on our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were greeted quickly and received cups with treats for the animals and were told which ones we could feed. While the website mentioned a tour, we did not receive one and we weren’t sure how to find the tour; it didn’t look like anyone was on a tour when we were there, and it could have been because we visited on a Sunday, but no details were provided. The experience itself was lovely with the animals. The story itself explaining (on the website because there was no tour) was incredible to read. When we were leaving, the staff were not as friendly as we were hoping. They offered to call us a cab and were told we’d wait 15-20 minutes, but we unfortunately waited nearly an hour for a cab. Thankfully we were able to wait where there was shade! We had spoken to 3 separate people checking in for our cab and they confirmed that they had called. When we were offered by the woman inside to call us a cab, we asked if someone had spoken to her about calling one, and she had said no. It was super irritating considering the 3 people we had spoken to were at the front entrance on their phones texting. I hope to return someday with a better experience with the staff and the service. But again, the experience with the animals was super lovely. If you’re visiting consider pre-book a cab or rent a vehicle. We wish we did, we would have left in a better mood.

I am a zoo fanatic. I make it my top priority to try and visit a zoo whenever I explore or visit a new place. Even though this isn't the biggest or nicest zoo I have been too. I still enjoyed myself. I love that we can feed most all the animals (Don't Feed the monkeys lol). This was an experience I will never forget. Definitely , great for the kiddos to get to feed many different animals.
Symone G — Google review
Came here to see animals. I did like the had a good variety of animals. But we wanted to feed the animals and couldn’t find anybody. Very disappointed because the animals acted like they wanted to be fed . The zoo is not super pretty but it definitely something to explore.

This was a great experience, our tour guide June was really awesome! He knew his stuff and explained the history of everything well. Would definitely recommend for everyone to try this out ! The animal sanctuary was so cool as well, I’ve never seen a camel in real life and it may have been the highlight of my day!
Maya F — Google review
I like it. You get to feed the animals. And it’s a sanctuary so some of the animals you can see are hurt. It’s a small little zoo. Nothing big. Staff is very friendly. You can see a python, snake, horses, donkeys, peacocks, baby tiger, ducks, turtles, monkeys, camels, etc.
Lee S — Google review
We came to this place as a meeting point for our ATV tour. The staff was really friendly. Have us some carrots too feed the animals as we waited. Got a chance to spend some time with a baby monkey as well.
Brandon H — Google review
It is so wonderful being able to feed and interact with so many animals. Our kids ages 5 to 14 had a great time. Love the mission of caring for rescued animals.

Renaissance Island is a luxurious escape famous for its stunning white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and charming flamingo population. This private island, owned by the Renaissance Resort, can be accessed via a ferry ride. Guests of the resort have complimentary access to the island, while day passes are available for purchase on a limited basis upon arrival.
Scored a day pass to the island. 2 great beaches, lots of wildlife. If you get a chance to come here, it's a must. Snorkeling was easy and fun. Lots of fish, 9 flamingos, alot of iguanas. Bring US quarters for the flamingo food dispenser.
Jon J — Google review
Renaissance Island is a nice little getaway from Aruba if you're really into the beach scene. As a marine biologist by profession I especially appreciated how they kept the island as natural as possible preserving the different types of mangroves. I enjoyed how close and personal you could get with the flamingos and the children on site enjoyed feeding them and the Green iguanas. Near Flamingo Beach Lookout under the bridge as there are lots of colorful fish 🐟 for you to enjoy. Felt "dushi" at Renaissance Island.
Dr. O — Google review
Beautiful place to visit. Family side and adult side. Bar and restaurant in the island. They provide towels if staying in room along with floating mats and snorkel equipment.
Jim M — Google review
Rare opportunity to wade in the waters with flamingoes. If there aren’t any around the beaches during your visit try looking along the nature walks and the backside of some of the amenities
Kevin A — Google review
This beautiful beach and island offer a unique opportunity to see flamingos up close, and it's a dream come true for anyone who's ever fantasized about this kind of encounter. The setting is stunning, with clear turquoise waters and soft sandy shores. A few tips for your visit: Skip the cocktails as they're mostly water and sugar—stick to the beer for a better drink experience. Cabanas are often sold out, but don't lose hope; they sometimes become available even the day before due to cancellations. Planning ahead is crucial, but it's definitely worth the effort. If you’re not staying at the Renaissance Hotel, day passes are sold at 9 am every Saturday (as of now) Bring sunscreen, you don’t want to be paying 31$ like we did for when ours finished. As a kid, I dreamed of coming to Aruba just to meet the flamingos on this island, and while seeing them was wonderful, I learned that they are actually kept in captivity and they just can’t leave. I hope this changes in the future to allow for a more natural habitat for these beautiful birds. I didn't want to bother the flamingos too much, it was so nice to see them roaming around freely. I also hope the island provides better food for them in the future instead of dog food that tourists pay for. Seeing the iguanas enjoying a giant bucket of fresh fruits for lunch all together made me super happy. Small adjustments could go a long way.

I went here yesterday and had the time of my life honestly, the interaction with the animals on the island is top tier for sure !
Slango L — Google review
Visited Renaissance Island since it was included in our stay at the hotel. The journey from the hotel dock took about 5-7 mins by water taxi. There is a side of the island for families and kids, and another side for adults only. We spent all day on the adults side and were lucky enough to snag lounge chairs front row on the beach. The service is great (from the guys manning the equipment who offered to carry our floaties for us to our server who checked in with us regularly to make sure our drinks were filled). The drinks were delish. Our favorite dish from the Mangrove Beach Bar & Fish Shack was the covina in a pouch - sooo flavorful! "The "beach" is protected, so no waves and very little wind - great for floating in the water. A few pink flamingos roamed around and we saw quite a few people feeding and interacting with them (we left them alone). It was worth it since access was included with our stay, but we didn't feel it would be worth it if we paid for a pass. It was fun to see, but probably wouldn't go back. The actual beaches in Aruba are much more interesting.
Nicole L — Google review
I think I was most excited about the close encounter with the flamingos…but they could honestly care less about us! And when I tried to feed them they weren’t hungry. However the island is absolutely gorgeous and it’s a great place to relax and get some instagramable pics and videos! The only downside was the airplanes constantly taking off the runway parallel to the island. The massages we booked to get on the island were absolutely amazing! Worth every penny!!! For my hubby and I for the day at the island including floats, towels, lounge chairs, 2 entrees of our choice from the menu, 2 mixed drinks, 2 50min Swedish massages in a hut that opens to the ocean with the waves as our background music it was $385. It was perfect! A great way to spend the day! I’d most definitely go back for those massages! The food and drinks were excellent! And the service was phenomenal. And be patient with your servers! Island time runs a little bit slower and more relaxed! But everyone was so kind!

Wilhelmina Restaurant is a recent addition to Aruba's dining scene, quickly becoming a popular spot in Oranjestad. Named after the beloved Dutch Queen Wilhelmina, the restaurant pays homage to her global influence by offering an internationally inspired menu featuring ingredients from around the world. Each dish on the menu is marked with a small flag, showcasing the diverse culinary offerings that include French bouillabaisse and Peking duck.
This was absolutely amazing from start to finish. My wife and I cant stop raving about this place. Service from the moment we walked in the door to exiting was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and appropriate! Juan was great and he had others helping our table with everything from extra butter and bread which is very good. Ceviche was one of the best I've had in 5 different places in Aruba. We shared the rack of lamb and short rib dishes as we couldn't decide and both we very good. The soup of the day (celery based) was delicious. The drinks were well made. Photos show the dishes and we even show our clean plates except for the bones lol! The palm trees and comfortable out side seating was very nice and with the tasteful lighting made this one of the best places. You will spend some money though this was definitely worth every dollar

Wilhelmina is a must-visit in Aruba! From the complimentary sampler to the amazing dinner and desserts, everything was flawless. The garden setting is beautiful, the service is top-notch, and every dish was full of flavor and care. Don’t miss the lemon tart — it’s the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal.

Great ambiance, beautiful open garden seating. Very professional, polite, pleasant and efficient staff. Good drinks. Started the dinner with complementary chef special - shot of soup and a fish ball - both excellent! Dinner excellent - beautiful presentation. My husband had the Wilhelmina Ravoli appitizer on the recommendation of the waitress and loved it! For dinner, I have the #2 fish special, my husband had the #3 fish special, and my friend had the lamb. Wilhelmina cheesecake, limoncello ice cream, amd a Key Lime Martini for dessert. Highly recommend this place!

This was one of our favorite dining experiences in Aruba. The food was unreal — we started with the ceviche and the short rib ravioli, followed by the short rib entrée, and finished with the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was exceptional. The atmosphere and dining space were top-notch. Hands down the best meal we had in Aruba.
Bailee — Google review
AMAZING food!! We ordered the ceviche and Mediterranean salad. I don’t usually order salad for an app but it was worth it. Their food is so authentic and well prepared. I would definitely order those again. The ceviche was very light and refreshing. We also ordered the garlic shrimp pasta and the Indonesian pork. My favorite was the Indonesian pork with noodles because the sauce was unforgettable (sorry the picture is a little blurry). Highly recommend this restaurant!! Sit inside if you don’t like bugs because at night there might be little flies around the table since the outside seating is in a beautiful tropical type atmosphere.

(4.5 ⭐️) Everything we ate was delicious, the ambience of the restaurant was lovely (the courtyard is absolutely gorgeous with greenery and moody lighting), and overall the servers were attentive to our needs and the service was quick. Where the restaurant lost points: we came in with a cake to celebrate a 30th birthday and we were greeted with a subpar reaction that they don’t offer cake cutting services. Rather than suggesting they would be able to store and bring the cake out for us (and let us do the rest), their reaction was sub-optimal and disappointing. Of course upon our suggestion that we could take care of it ourselves (as long as we’re able to store the cake in the meantime), the front staff accepted our request (& charged us a $35 cake cutting fee). The poor reaction could have been avoided to make their customers happy!

This was our second visit to Wilhelmina on 2 separate trips. Once again, it did not disappoint. They greet you with a little snack to say hi and let the yumminess begin. The Wilhelminas raviolis are still as I remember it, yummy. The ceviche here is hands down the best. Although, Lima Bistro has killer ceviche as well. Both are unique and different from one another. We had the catch of the day, served 3 different ways, another had the braised short ribs that were killer. Another in our group is a vegetarian and I think the had the watermelon something and she fell in love with it. Sometimes vegetarians are hard to please, or there's not much options. At Wilhelmina you can't go wrong. Thanks again and we will certainly return.

Eetcafe The Paddock is a family-friendly restaurant located on Oranjestad's waterfront, offering open-air seating and stunning views of the harbor. Known for its Dutch and Aruban specialties, this casual dining spot provides a diverse menu with options ranging from fresh seafood to kid-friendly burgers. Additionally, it features an authentic Dutch pub atmosphere with imported European beer and frozen cocktails.
Genuine hospitality! Wife and I had a great time at the Paddock. Jonathan & Jamila took great care of us. A lot of places near cruise ships are over-priced, but not the Paddock. If you haven’t been to Aruba before definitely try Chill or Magic Mango beers. Will definitely return.
Christopher G — Google review
Should you be hungry or need a drink, I'd recommend just passing this place by. The only good thing about this place is that it's by the cruise pier and on the water. Calamari was ok but rubbery, escargot was grainy, and the burger was really inedible. Took forever just to get drinks, and they didn't even bring one of the items that was ordered, even though it was repeated back to us. Unfortunately, just another place in Aruba that should not be around but will probably remain because of the number of visitors that come through here.
M. M — Google review
Visited for lunch on May 14, 2025. We stopped by The Paddock Aruba and were pleasantly surprised by this charming spot right on the water. We had the fish and chips special for $12, which was tasty and well-prepared — definitely a good value. The service was friendly and attentive, and the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. One of the highlights was the ocean-view seating, which added a relaxing, scenic touch to our meal. It’s a great place to unwind without breaking the bank — a refreshing alternative to some of the pricier dining options nearby. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a casual, affordable meal with a great view.

Ordered the shrimp Alfredo - the sauce was interesting (not sure that I loved it but didn’t hate it) - had a floral taste. My husband liked the grilled grouper. The waitress was underwhelming and didn’t have a welcoming personality which is the reason for the 4 star.

We had a wonderful experience at Paddocks. The fish and chips were to die for! All of our drinks were top notch and mixed just right. Felipe was our server and he was so friendly and super helpful on providing suggestions. We cannot wait to come back to enjoy Paddocks wonderful service and food.
Kaleb — Google review
Not great.. not even good.. From the outset, the hostess didn’t want to be there. She resented welcoming customers and many people (us included) had to get our own menu as she preferred to stay sitting behind her booth, looking at her phone. Mojito was US$11 and not made correctly, barely any mint and 2 wedge of lime - very sugary using lime cordial & lemonade, and lacked alcohol. The food made my partner sick. It tasted as though they were frozen & defrosted on repeat & then fried for service. Mayonnaise left out on tables in 35deg heat. We picked one up and it was full of water from the rain and hot from sitting in the sun. The location is prime and they have great potential, but everything is run down or broken and left to the elements to deteriorate further. Remove the broken umbrella, chairs and tables, treat your customers better, be nice and smile - it would make a great difference to the image. First impressions are lasting impressions..
T S — Google review
It was okay, like others have said good bang for your buck. It’s right on the water which is nice, but the amount of pigeons trying to attack your food makes it a place we probably won’t come back to. The food was good and the service was decent.

The Antilla Shipwreck, located off the northern shore of Aruba near Malmok/Tres Trapi, is a must-see for snorkelers and divers alike. This World War II-era cargo ship, intentionally sunk by the German army to avoid confiscation, now rests at a depth of 60ft/18m. The wreck is teeming with marine life such as anemones, coral, fish schools, sponges and stingrays.
Very cool shipwreck with an interesting history. Lots of swim-thru's for every level of diver, lots of gorgeous soft coral growth, and a few resident turtles to make even the snorkelers happy. Don't miss this wreck!
Kat B — Google review
I was able to visit this shipwreck as one of three stops on a snorkeling catamaran cruise. It's about 60 feet down, so from a snorkeling viewpoint, it's a bit hazy. We saw a few varieties of tropical fish near the site. I think for this site, scuba diving would be a better way to explore it. From what I could see as a snorkeler, it was OK.

This was probably the best part of my birthday trip. Me and my party literally took over the entire boat. lol We had a blast. The crew was so cool and down to earth. Jumping off the boat was my favorite part. I love swimming and it's just something about the water in Aruba that makes your body feel so good. This will definitely be another place I visit on my next trip to Aruba.

However, the spot is very touristy. When we were there was next to our boat with 83 passengers. 2 more boats and you had to be careful where you were swimming without swimming into anyone.

We went on a organized snorkeling adventure to the Antilla Shipwreck with "Pelican Adventures". It was a good trip out there and the crew was very fun to be around. They first brought us over the wreck so that you could snorkel in that area. The ship is big 398.3 ft (121.4 m) so you will not miss it and it is sitting at about 60 ft (18.2 m) in the water. But depending on the lighting will depend on how well you will see the boat. After about an hour we left that area and moved closer to the shore and more shallow water about 10-15 feet (3-4 m). A lot of little fish and my wife spotted a sea turtle.
Kevin K — Google review
Took the Palm Pleasure catamaran to the Antilla Shipwreck and definitely don’t forget the waterproof phone cover to catch a few images, mine are a little foggy but an awesome sight to see.
Jo “ — Google review
This spot was quite impressive. From the ship I took, you could snorkel along the entire ship which is not that far from the surface. Although I was able to touch it, my ears popped so I would recommend ear plugs. Scuba diving is available at the spot as well. The water is so fantastic to swim in all over the island of Aruba.

The Bushiribana Ruins in Aruba are the remains of a 19th-century gold mill, offering a glimpse into the island's gold rush era. Built in 1825 by the Aruba Island Gold Mining Company, these ruins showcase ancient construction techniques with natural stones skillfully carved and stacked without mortar. Although it was only operational for 10 years, its solid construction has allowed a significant portion of the mill to endure.
Very interesting ruins to visit. If you like to climb and see great views then this definitely a place to visit!

Kids had fun climbing and exploring the old stone ruins. Another spot good for 10 or 15 minutes max in this area. The area is frequently overrun by groups of 50 more UTVs containing 1 to 6 tourists each. Avoid these areas at those times if possible.

This place has such a great view. There was one window that you can feel so much wind. I literally can stand there for a long time. It was so lovely. This place was a great place to visit and a bonus that it is right next to the cave pool.

I sound awful but this was not that exciting. Fair to say it was a historic building and of historical interest but a day out just to go there...no. we stayed all of 15 minutes. But just a minute away on a sandy area was the most unusual art. I thought, this can't be naturally conceived! It wasn't. Many visitors to the goldmine could of felt a bit of an anti climax, so they constructed different art from the local stones. We joined in too and spent about 20mins 'designing" and admiring our new art to be added to the collection. Strange how the smallest and sometimes oddest things bring a smile to your face.

Nestled in the heart of Oranjestad, The Old Fisherman is a charming eatery that captures the essence of Aruban hospitality. This beloved restaurant specializes in local seafood and traditional dishes, making it a go-to spot for both locals and visitors alike. While its menu highlights authentic Aruban flavors like keshi yena and fresh fish, it also caters to diverse palates with international options such as Seafood Linguini and Black Angus Tenderloin.
Nice good, good location. Came here as a group of 9 and were able to be seated right away. Drinks aren’t strong but from what I realize, drinks on the island aren’t strong at all. Did taste good though. Prices are reasonable and they give local discounts. Good taste good as well. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend this restaurant .

The fried cornbread was bomb i would say you have to try this if you go, the burger was good as well and the fries was fresh. My paella was ok but you can tell everything was very fresh and not frozen.
MsShy50 — Google review
The place is geared more for the locals with good food but service that operates on 'island time' where there is no sense of urgency to anything. If you have the patience, you will be rewarded, especially if you ordered one of the seafood pasta dishes. The restaurant relocated and is now on the main road along the coast. Service hasn't gotten any better, still with a huge attitude, but worth putting up with as the food is still well made and presented.

One thing besides some of the BEST seafood in Aruba which stood out to me. The Old Fisherman's service was in my opinion absolutely top notch. They were so friendly and attentative. I felt like I was in someone's home. They were serving up food you're going to be thinking about & want over and over again. The calamari sauce was spicy. I enjoyed mixing it with another sauce served with my fish. Definitely trying it again. Actually I did have plenty of leftovers. Also I have to say the coleslaw was some of the best on the island.

Had calamari for an appetizer and a very delicious plate that had snapper in a buttered garlic sauce for the main course. The sides were mashed potatoes and a rice pilaf with plantain. It was an amazing flavor and a wonderful quiet place to eat and enjoy a good meal. Did not wait at all and the service was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting delicious seafood in Aruba.

We ate lunch during their happy hour specials while at Aruba on our cruise. It was close walking distance from the port and shops. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and was perfect along with the fried pan bati (cornbread) as we waited for the fish and chips. It was a bit busy and took a while for the main entree. However, the food we had was excellent. Wait staff was friendly and and took care of us once the kitchen was done preparing the fish (mahi mahi) and chips. Lightly battered fresh fish and golden brown french fries. Raymond was our server and he was great. Even talked to us a bit outside after holding the door open for us.

We came here on a Monday early evening. The vibe was kinda off/awkward, it was quiet, the music wasn’t even on in the background for most part of the evening. Our waitress was very nice though. Service of the food and drinks was a bit slower than the usual. The food however was really good in my opinion. My fiancé found the food to be a bit cold, especially the rice. I can’t say for myself, because I didn’t eat the rice. I loved the presentation and what we ordered and shared together was filling.

Manchebo Beach is a stunning stretch of white sand and clear water located on a paradisiacal island. It is home to luxury resorts and spas, including the renowned Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. This health-and-wellness hot spot offers yoga classes with beach views, making it an ideal place to find your Zen. The beach also serves as a nesting ground for four species of sea turtles, with protective measures in place to safeguard their nests.
This is by far the most beautiful beach in Aruba. The water is crystal clear and you can see your feet. Sometimes the fish swim by. The white sand is soft like clay. Wasn’t crowded at all. But when the jet skis roll by, the waves get bigger so be careful. It gets very windy and you still get a sunburn.

Very nice, relaxing beach and a perfect spot to see the sunset. The part we swam at was a bit wavy and quickly turned deep but I think further down it looked calmer so there are options. Its a long wide beach so it feels less crowded evern during the busy times.

Peaceful beach tucked away from/underneath Eagle beach so, less crowded and more sandy area to walk on. There were a bit of current and waves the day we went but overall, Manchebo beach offers the finest and softest sand - which is very rare in Aruba, so very pleasant to walking on the beach! Plenty of parking in the Italian restaurant area since we didn’t stay in the resort right on Manchebo beach

Was here today...like others described its amazing...not too many people...and plenty of schools of fish nearby...clear waters in most areas...but steep drop off. Worth the walk fosho.
Kris C — Google review
Staff not very friendly. Spa booked way in advance no slots for walk up guests. Couldn't get in for any treatment over 4 days. No cold drinking service water offered in the room. Can't get cold water or ice except like at a motel by walking over with a bucket to a dirty ice machine self service. The menu was very mid at the outdoor cafe. The pool bar mojitos were great but one day at the beach a family of tattoo covered locals showed up the hotel palapa in front of ours at the beach and even brought their dogs. The hotel staff did nothing to remove them. It seems they are advertising a property they don't actually own. The service was mediocre and so very over priced. Do not waste your money. One night I walked up to the front desk and the hotel porter was having a heated argument with a cab driver who had just dropped someone off. The guests wanted to use the cab but the porter was telling the taxi he couldn't take the guests because he had already called another taxi. You get the gist of the service. Very poor.

The waves are too dangerous. Period. No way I would bring small kids here. The Manchebo beach is the most beautiful beach but is too dangerous, especially for kids. The Palms beach is very calm and nice for kids but less pleasant due to seagrass. The Divi beach is the golden middle.

Fantastic wide beach. Clean sand, plenty of space. Sunsets are incredible from the beach. Due to its size, the beach never feels crowded. The sea is a little more rough than Eagle Beach but this doesn’t detract from it. Plenty of great beach bars and restaurants around this area too.

One note, this tour is best for people who are comfortable with stairs, steps, and uneven terrain. If you are up for the adventure, it is a must do in Aruba.

We have been to the Happy Island many times and always gotten a car and toured the area ourselves. This time we brought our adult children with us. For a party of 8, Luis, our tour guide, knocked it out of the park! Great time, lots of stops. Lots of knowledge about the island and history and funny as hell. Thanks ABC for making this trip a highlight for our family!

We took the 4-hour jeep tour of Arikok National Park, which included cave tours and a stop to snorkel at the Natural Pool (an amazing experience for this first-time snorkeler!). In just one morning, we saw colorful fish, mountain goats, a boa constrictor, owls, fruit bats, and a turtle. Our high-energy guide, Diamond Donny, is goofy and really fun! He truly is a rare gem of a tour guide. He kept us safe, hydrated, and entertained for hours. He even took great photos of the 3 couples on the tour. This tour is worth every penny and was a highlight of our vacation!

If you are planning on doing a tour of the island I highly recommend the ABC Ultimate Safari Jeep Tour. Ask for Donnie as your guide. He had so much energy, kept us safe, and had us laughing the whole day. We got to snorkel, swim, explore the national park, see wildlife, visit a cave, and take in amazing views. Lunch was also good. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We had an excellent time on this tour. The tour guides, Curt and Joshua, had the right amount of historical knowledge, humor, and kindness. The number of people in each truck was perfect, and they became like family for the day. The atmosphere was chill, and everyone was looking to make sure all had a good time. The value of the experience compared to the price was phenomenal. The tour allows you to travel all of Aruba in one day, stopping at many highlights. Now we have a much better idea of how we want to spend our time on the island. I would recommend this tour to any and all.

This was by far the best tour I have ever been on! I’m so happy I decided on this tour! D,K,S and J were phenomenal, funny, outgoing, and just all around great guys! I don’t think there was a time we weren’t laughing and having fun! The Aruba Jeep tour with these 4 guys is a must do when in Aruba !

This was a fun filled day. Our tour guide for the full day was great. Wanted to make sure we had enough time to spend at all the beach locations to swim, snorkel, “cliff” jump. Going off road on this tour brought me back to my days riding or driving in Hummers and 7-tons in the military. Bumpy ride for sure. At least the seats were more comfortable than a 7ton. If you want to see most of Aruba in a day and you don’t mind going off road, I highly recommend booking a 8 hrs day with ABC Tours.

We booked the North Coast Jeep Safari through our Carnival Cruise on the Mardi Gras the week of 6/9/25. The description of the tour was on point, was everything we expected, and absolutely amazing! Our tour guide MJ was not only knowledgeable, but so very kind, compassionate, and attentive. We highly recommend this tour! It was hands down one of the best tours we have ever taken!

Quadirikiri Cave, located in the southern end of Arikok National Park in Aruba, is a pair of dome-shaped limestone caves adorned with pre-historic petroglyphs and illuminated by natural light streaming through openings in the ceiling. The cave system consists of three chambers connected by two large passages, creating a surreal underground world filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient Indian drawings.
You don’t need a 4x4 to get here, just drive slowly. Really cool caves, amazing to explore and see. Please don’t use a flashlight and disturb the bats- you don’t need it with all the natural light, just be careful and let your eyes adjust.
Laura J — Google review
By far one of the most impressive cave systems I've ever seen. This cave system is located in Arikok National Park, which is home to free-roaming goats and donkeys, which you will encounter frequently if you go on excursions or rent a car. The Native Americans' complex and sad history makes the caverns a sacred and memorable site. Please go see for yourself. Online photographs do not do it justice.

Super cool bat caves - the local guide is very knowledgeable, gave us a tons of valuable historical stories of this place! He even took picture of the heart rock for very single guest in our group- another example of how hospitable, kind and sweet Arubans are ❤️ this is part of our tour with ABC company
Qween A — Google review
Beautiful! Be prepared to see a lot of people from tours and graffiti sadly. It’s easy to find and still very much worth the ride. There are lots of bats flying around but they are harmless. Another great way to enjoy the island.
Daniel R — Google review
An interesting cave walk. Mostly self guided. A ranger there to answer questions. Good photo ops. Easy in and out. Make sure you go to the natural spring and put your feet in the water with fishes nibbling.
Judith W — Google review
This cave is located within the national park and is fairly easy to reach—no need for special gear or a tough hike. The cave itself is quite small, but there are a few spots where sunlight shines through, creating beautiful photo opportunities. It’s pretty dark inside most of the time, so be sure to bring a flashlight if you plan to explore further or take better pictures
Linh D — Google review
Worth it to wait and get a tour from the Park staff. Cave used to be underwater. A lot of coral in the rocks. Many fruit bats. Natural light through holes in the roof. You can creatively take a picture with a heart shape hole. The guide will show you how. Flashlight would be useful, but not as necessary as Fontaine Cave, as there is natural light from the holes in the roof
Laurie F — Google review
This cave was larger than Fontein cave, it’s very dark in the middle, but the largest part has holes in the ceiling for light to come through. We saw bats, bees, and crabs inside. You have to go up a steep set of stairs to enter this cave so people with mobility issues won’t be able to get inside easily.

The National Archaeological Museum Aruba is located in a historic Dutch Colonial building complex that was once the home of the Ecury family. It offers a deep dive into Aruba's past with artifacts dating back 5,000 years, showcasing the Amerindian culture that thrived on the island long before European settlers arrived. The museum's collection includes over 10,000 pieces from three distinct periods of Indigenous history: Pre-Ceramic (2500 B.C.E.-1000 C.E.
The museum has a nice history of the island of Aruba and its context to the colonization of the western hemisphere. Lots of interactive displays and artifacts. $5 suggested donation entry fee There is an elevator to access the upper floor.
Doug D — Google review
Cool museum that goes into the history of Aruba’s people and land. It won’t take up your whole day. Maybe max 90 minutes or 2 hours. If you want to learn a bit more about Aruba, then do stop by.
Aninda Z — Google review
Cute little museum worth a drop in if you're around, not to go out of your way. It's free but asks for a donation, which can only be given in cash. There is quite a bit of interesting information about Aruban history all the way back to early civilization.
Shyamal A — Google review
Cute little museum. Loved the hut, artifacts, history of the Aruba island and the cave with fake water.
Lee S — Google review
Off the beaten path but worth the trek to understand the history of Aruba. Free admission but donations are always appreciated and help to keep the exhibit up to date.
Jimmy T — Google review
This is a suggested donation museum. The displays are translated to English. There are many archaeological artifacts to see. My favourite part of the visit was the exhibit about Queen Hortense and the decibels. It just so happened that I watched the documentary about calypso music and Queen Hortense showed up. I was so pleased to meet her and we talked a bit about Trinidadian calypso. I can't wait to follow up on her music. Beautiful costumes and headpieces were also on display.

Great experience! It's a very nice museum, very well kept and catering to people of different ages and levels of interest. Definitely worth a visit for all interested in learning a bit more about life in the island before the influx of mass tourism.

The Bubali Bird Sanctuary, located in the northern part of Aruba near Palm Beach, is a haven for over 80 species of migratory birds. This wetland preserve features two interconnected man-made lakes and an observation tower that offers excellent bird watching opportunities. The sanctuary provides a lush habitat for various bird species including egrets, herons, cormorants, coots, gulls, skimmers, terns, and ducks.
Cool spot very close to the high rise resorts. Great views and a watchtower that lets you see the entire sanctuary. There are a lot of different species to see plus great fauna everywhere
Isaac S — Google review
It's hard to see the side with the egrets, herons and pelicans. It was easy to see the ducks, ducklings, and gallinules. There are hundreds of turtles and millions of lizards. The lookout tower had a nice breeze and gave a view of the buildings. Unfortunately the view of where the birds were was covered by vegetation. Can't be too mad that the bird sanctuary has lots of plants though. You could see the Frigatebirds swooping around. We saw ten kinds of birds and we weren't there super long. Birders will like the stop.
Geeanna T — Google review
Initially a bit disappointed on arrival. However we appreciated the tower where we could enjoy the refreshing island winds, view of the area and especially catch the wildlife in the marsh areas. The drive to the tower is short...easy to find. Road is a mixture of dry areas and water filled pot holes. Limited parking and is free
Patty H — Google review
A decent quick trip to see birds, lizards, and ducks. Path straight across the road from Diana’s pancakes at the old Dutch windmill. The area was clean and free of trash. The area was well maintained. The tower gives a good view. We saw a handful of birds.
Cindy S — Google review
It’s a free outdoor public natural land area. By walking around, you can view a variety of birds, such as pelicans and local breeds. It’s nice if not crowded. Don’t expect any tour guides. There’s a rusty structure you can walk up the stairs to get a Birds Eye view. It’s a nice calm stop off. Wear footwear you don’t mind getting dirty.
Sigfredo D — Google review
Very relaxing place. We have not actually seen too many birds (around 10 or so), but the sanctuary was such a peaceful and quite place, with soft sounds of water and some birds flying around. The tower is very easy to climb, and offers a nice view as well!
Mark B — Google review
I walked from Eagle beach, seemed a long walk, once there excellent bird life and lizards, walked around to tower where views over reserve, limited distant views of Osprey, But recommended, My pictures taken with 400mm R7 canon

Great for Aruba and the birds that it exists.... But not great as a tourist attraction (I'm not sure it's even intended as one).. Not many birds visible from the lookout.. I'm sure they're there. I don't think many people on vacation would like that they've taken time out of their day to see this. But it's quick to get in and out so if you aren't sure, give it a look.

Surfside Beach is a popular destination for families, offering a sandy shore, calm waters, and a playground. It's known for its cooling shade provided by local Kwihi trees and stunning sunsets. Visitors can enjoy activities like stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking. The beach is conveniently located near downtown Oranjestad and can be accessed via the linear park. Additionally, there are various dining options nearby.
Excellent place to grab some beach eats and drinks and watch some planes. It's immediately under the approach path for runway 11. The restaurant is priced really well, and the beach is shallow so you can walk out really far.
Jordan K — Google review
One of the best, most underrated beaches in Aruba for sure. They have a really nice restaurant right on the beach, and a bar too. The airport runway is right next to the beach too, so you can see airplanes arriving from around the world up close, and if you look back you can see them departing too!
Benny — Google review
In front of Talk of the town hotel, small beach, a lot of seeweed. Few spaces without. Restaurants and a bar. You can see airplanes landing at the left far end of the beach.

I spent almost everyday in Aruba at The Reflexions Beach Club. It’s a family friendly beach, but trust there’s never many kids running around. Cabanas are $27. Food about $20-30 and the lids menu has a nice variety. I felt sooo exclusive relaxed here. They walked my drink to the beach, served me fresh and well cooked meals, and never skimped on my alcohol.

If you want gorgeous waters, natural tree shade, & a calm place to snorkel, this is the best beach!!! We stopped by quite a few & this was our favorite!! There is also a restaurant for food & drinks!
Buffy W — Google review
Calm beach, not a lot of natural shade, lots of parking, you can rent chairs and umbrellas from nearby bar.
Anibal S — Google review
It's an ok beach. The sand is nice and the water is shallow, but the beach is small and the water is weedy. Planes fly overhead to land at the airport kind of like Sint Maarten but less dramatic and dangerous. Lots of parking. Two bar/restaurants right on the beach too.
Cory S — Google review
Small but beautiful beach. Little bar at the end with lounge and umbrella rentals. Parking is close, water is clear. Coral is very visible and lots of boats in view (planes too). Additional pics of the beautiful pier we walked to get there. Multiple access points to get in the ocean. We heard lots of birds and saw many different flowers. We did not see any shower spots.

Hotel Riu Palace Antillas is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located on the stunning Palm Beach in Aruba. The property offers a serene and upscale atmosphere with various on-site activities such as water sports, a casino, and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy four restaurants, a swim-up bar at the pool, and access to the tranquil spa for extra relaxation. While the hotel's smaller size may be seen as a downside by some, it boasts excellent service and diverse dining options.
We had the best time on our 7 day stay 10/3/25 - 10/10/25. Staff were fantastic always welcoming and friendly. Management would ask about our stay and if we had any concerns daily. The wait staff, bartenders and housekeepers were all great. Hotel is in a great location easy to walk to local shops and restaurants. Great selection of food that was always really good. No issues finding something for everyone. There’s a reason why this is the 5th different RIU location that we’ve stayed at. We will definitely be back again.
Chris H — Google review
Was my first time in Aruba. So I originally booked Riu, but got nervous after reading some of the negative reviews and ended up booking a different hotel for second half of the stay… but honestly, I wish I had stayed here instead! After visiting both places, I can confidently say this all-inclusive resort was much better. The food and drinks were awesome, better variety, and actually flavorful. The bartenders knew what they were doing and the cocktails were way better than what I got at the other resort. We were able to get a spot at any restaurant without much wait. The pool area is also noticeably bigger, with plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. And the beach is much closer, which made it super easy to go back and forth throughout the day. If you’re hesitating because of some of the bad reviews, don’t. My experience was great, and I truly regret switching hotels last minute. But now I know for the next time. Highly recommend Adults only Riu Attilas!

This was our first trip outside the USA and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate, everything was cleaned and stocked daily. The food was delicious and the buffet had a great variety of options. The restaurants were a little harder to get into, but worth it. We enjoyed the pool, especially the water aerobics instructor. We never had trouble finding chairs on the beach or pool areas, but to get a chair close to the ocean you had to be up very early! They were saving chairs before sunrise. We walked to the boardwalk area, butterfly farm and DePalm Pier. All in all it was an amazing trip and beautiful hotel with kind attentive staff. Thank you!

My husband & I just took our honeymoon at Riu Antilles in Aruba. I reached out ahead of our trip to notify them it was our honeymoon & again at arrival. They didn’t do anything special for our honeymoon. We paid for the Elite membership, so were quickly checked into our room. We were put in the smaller building, directly behind the Elite pool. When we got into our room we were very under impressed. The room wasn’t filthy, but it didn’t feel clean. There were visible stains on the pillows thru the pillow cases. There were little hairs between the glass on table tops. The curtain wouldn’t close all of the way. The picture on the wall was broken. It was freezing in our room & we turned the temp up multiple times, but it ran constantly. We only had 2 sheets on our bed & we had to ask 3 times before we received a blanket. Oh & the bed was broken against the headboard when we arrived. Did I mention that we were on our honeymoon? Anyway, the room was very subpar. On the positive side… the Elite pool was nice. The beach was nice, but they don’t provide drink service on the beach. Most of food we had was good… the buffets were good & the Elite restaurant was good. The other specialty restaurants, like the steakhouse & Italian, sucked. The drinks were typically good, but they weren’t quick to refill. We will Not be back to a Riu based on our room & I was so bummed they didn’t acknowledge it was our honeymoon, as that’s a once in a lifetime trip.
Abby P — Google review
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 15 nights at the Antillas. We utilized the pool area primarily as palapas provided shade (we preferred the sun). Our room provided a great view of the ocean and pool area; it was cleaned well each day. The staff in all areas of the hotel were extremely friendly. The cleaning staff were visible at all hours of the day in the public areas. Management was very visible in all areas overseeing the various areas and speaking with the guests. Each Friday evening, there is a "Riu Party" with a "white" or "neon" shirt theme on alternating weeks--a fun evening. We found the food to be plentiful and very appetizing, be it in the buffet or the specialty restaurants. The "coffee shop" on the main floor was a benefit for a "light snack" or beverage at any time of the day or evening. The pool bars were well staffed with knowledgeable and friendly individuals; staff were always present coming around the pool area taking drink orders. Some mornings they came around with ice water as well. The hotel is well located within walking distance of various shops and restaurants for those who want to leave the premises. For those who want to go into Oranjestad, taxis or public bus provide an easy transportation. Aruba is a safe island with friendly inhabitants. As a repeat visitor, I have no hesitation recommending the Riu Antillas
Brian L — Google review
Other than room service our trip was amazing! Hotel was fantastic, restaurants & Buffet were great, the beach was perfect for our everyday needs and we loved the excursions. With the room we found our first night that we had no pillow cases, towels or water. We talked to the cleaning lady on the first day about having at least four bottles of water each day but that was ignored. We ended up going to the front desk to get that resolved. We also found that the 7th floor was very musty smelling at all times. We liked that the hotel was adults only and enjoyed all the events that the hotel put on. Perfect weather and sunsets every day! We will definitely come back.
DEBORAH V — Google review
This is my completely honest review of this resort along with lots of information I would have liked to know prior to staying. We stayed in the Junior Suite Ocean View room for a week in November 2025. The pool was very clean, with poolside service bringing you drinks and fresh fruit kabobs. EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT THEY ALLOW SMOKING AT THE POOL! Many guests were sitting in chairs or in the water WITH CIGARETTES LIT. My husband and I are not smokers and found this to be one of the worst qualities of this hotel. You cannot reserve pool chairs, and there were many rude guests who went down right when the pool opened and put their towels on the chairs and left - just to ensure they had the chairs they wanted. This made it difficult to find seating every day. Some reviews mention the entertainment wasn’t very good, it wasn’t bad it was just minimal. We didn’t want a bunch of loud music or noises anyway. The beach was similar to the pool in terms of service, very clean and beautiful. Also very packed. Aruba does not have private beaches so anyone can come to the Riu beach. There is a walking path that connects many of the beaches. The receptionist will provide you with one towel card per guest that you’ll need to get your towels, you get the card back when you give the towels back. The Riu Elite package included nothing other than a private lounge and some restaurant, and we never saw anyone in either. I think the only pro to this option is if you prefer higher end alcohol. The overall service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk will call you a taxi and many were already waiting outside. The actual resort itself was beautiful. This is not a resort like you’d expect in Mexico or Punta Cana, it is a hotel structure. There are 3-4 little shops that sell trinkets and souvenirs along with products you may have forgotten. Bring all the sunscreen you’ll need because we ran out and the travel size bottle was $14. This was our first trip to Aruba and we will absolutely go back. I do think we will stay here again, but we will swap a few nights elsewhere for the experience. Overall this resort was a 4/5 and I would recommend it. Hope this all helps!

Everything was great. Maid service, outstanding. Food was great. Issue with closing a restaurant when we were in line. Should have let us know before. Great trip will definitely come back. Don't believe the negative comments.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Jolly Pirates Sailing Cruises & Snorkeling, where the spirit of piracy meets the beauty of Aruba's coastline. This unique experience invites you aboard a stunning 85-foot teak schooner designed to resemble classic pirate ships. Guests can indulge in thrilling activities like swimming, snorkeling, and even rope-swinging into the crystal-clear waters.
Wow! This was a fun filled evening. From the moment we set out on the this cruise it was fun for all. Kids, teens, young adult, and even older adults all had smiles on their faces the whole time. Our crew was awesome! Kept the drinks flowing. Music was great. Once we got to our one and only stop the fun really began. The rope swing was awesome. Fun was had by all. Even had one of the crew members assist some of the party goers with back flips off the swing. This is a must do evening event for the whole family.
Jason N — Google review
We booked the Jolly Pirate for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it was such a blast! The swing rope was definitely a highlight - so much fun and made everyone feel like a kid again. We also loved that there were three different snorkeling stops, each offering something unique. The open bar kept the good vibes going, and the crew was super energetic and friendly. The only downside was that the boat was very packed, which I know is to be expected for such a popular excursion. I just wish there had been a little more space to lay down and relax between activities. Still, overall it was an amazing experience and such a fun way to celebrate in Aruba. Would definitely recommend for groups looking for an unforgettable time!
Andrea M — Google review
This was one of the most fun things we did or while trip! The crew were fun, the drinks were strong, the food was delicious, the water was clear, the music was great, and that swing! I did it 3-4 times and felt like a kid again! Definitely worth the money
Chelsea G — Google review
This is an experience I highly recommend when visiting Aruba. There are dozens of companies that offer snorkeling/cruises around the island but no one does it quite like Jolly Pirates. The atmosphere is fun for everyone with music and drinks but is still plenty kid friendly. Everyone had an absolute blast using the rope swing and the Schooner ships they use are so cool to be on. You can ride on the net up in front of the boat which gives a great perspective. The crew are fantastic and do a great job of breaking everyone out of their shells and getting people dancing and doing backflips (or trying to at least). This is a must-do on the island.

We did this last night and it was the most fun we have had in a long time. It was fun just to let loose and dance the night away! Food was good! Drinks were great! The Jolly Pirate workers were all friendly. It was a great experience! FYI if you are on the heavy side just jump off the ship dont use the swing. My shoulder is mad at me for half a second I was on it!

This was the highlight of our trip to Aruba! The most fun tour guides!!! They were so funny and welcoming! Very cool to see the sunken German ship and snorkel to see all the beautiful fish and turtles. The “pirate poison” was a fun drink and loved the BBQ lunch- seriously so good. Next time we come here, we will definitely be doing this again. Well worth it to be out on the water & get to see more of the island. Thank you for a great experience!!!

⭐☆☆☆☆ DANGEROUS and RECKLESS – Almost Run Over by the Jolly Pirate Boat! I’ve never written a review like this before, but what happened deserves serious attention. My husband and I were scuba diving at Tres Trapi, a popular snorkeling and turtle-spotting area, when the Jolly Pirate boat nearly ran me over! We had both surfaced to reconnect after being separated underwater — a completely normal and necessary safety procedure for divers. We each had 6-foot fluorescent pink and yellow surface marker buoys deployed, which are highly visible and specifically used so boats can see and avoid divers. While scanning for my husband, I suddenly saw the Jolly Pirate boat heading straight toward me, blasting music and packed with passengers. I waved my buoy and yelled for attention, but the boat didn’t change direction. I had to swim for my life to get out of its path. Passengers on board finally noticed me and started screaming, and only then did the boat begin to turn away. It passed so close that I could have reached out and touched it. This was an extremely dangerous and irresponsible incident. Tres Trapi is a known dive and snorkel site — boats should never operate that close to divers, especially when marker buoys are clearly visible. If I hadn’t been a strong swimmer, this could have ended tragically. Whoever was operating that boat needs urgent retraining on maritime safety and diver awareness. Someone will get seriously hurt or killed if this continues. Until this company takes accountability and trains its crew properly, I would strongly warn others to avoid the Jolly Pirate. Reckless, unsafe, and utterly unacceptable.

Had a wonderful time on our tour. The end of the week we asked the teenage girls what their favorite part of our Aruba trip was. They both agreed it was the ATV tour. It is bumpy. Very bumpy. Dress appropriately as it's out in the desert part of Aruba..very arid and dry. They did have water for it which was awesome.

Hands down one of the funniest off road tours I’ve ever been on. In another country I once took an ATV tour and was told to not leave 2nd gear and stay below 25mph. NOT THIS TOUR! Our guide “E.A” made sure to let us know before we began that we needed to drive the hell out of our vehicles if we wanted to make it back to camp! Our tour showed me so much of the island I hadn’t seen during my last trip. Seeing the first church in Aruba, to visiting the Lagoons and jumping off cliffs into ocean waters. A bonus was being able to drive these machines through what seemed to be a monsoon. We felt safe the entire time. EA was super entertaining and he cared for the safety of his guests. As a bonus the base camp is set up at a small animal sanctuary so while waiting for the tour to start, the little get to experience this small scale zoo!

Did the morning atv tour, started at their animal sanctuary which was lovely. our guides Danny and Armando were fantastic they kept us happy , hydrated and safe! Great way to see a different side of the island , recommended to bring goggles and clothes that are comfortable and able to get dirty because it gets dusty which is to be expected! Super fun way to spend the morning , thanks guys !

We loved this tour! The shuttle arrived on time and we were quickly delivered to our starting point. We had great time feeding the animals at the zoo. After a few instructions on how the UTV tour works and what to expect, we were off. June & Tony navigated our group along the coast to several top destinations. We loved the cliff jumping in the cave pool!!! I would highly recommend!!! Totally worth the cost for a 4 hour excursion.

An absolute blast! Our favorite thing we did in Aruba. If you are a thrill seeker, you’ll love this! We each rented a single seater ATV! So many great sights and so much fun. Would 100% come back

Family of four with an 8 and 11 year old for half day UTV tour. Great time although my wife was nervous riding along the UTV through rough dessert hills and beach. Tour guide Danny and assistant Angelo were great. Our UTI broke down a couple of times (only one out of 12 or so in the group) but Angelo was there to make quick adjustments/repairs. We were never broken down for more than a minute. Stops on the tour were great and we had a good time.

Divi Beach, also referred to as Druif Beach, is a serene and charming beachfront in Aruba. It boasts soft white sands and gentle waves, making it an ideal spot for swimming and leisurely strolls along the shore. Visitors can also engage in activities like beach volleyball or simply relax at Divi Beach Bar with a cold local beer and a burger. The beach faces southwest and stretches about 500 meters, offering ample space for solitude or socializing.
We went to Baby, Eagle, Palm and Surfside beach before. Today, we went to Divi Beach. We both think that it's the most beautiful one of the island. A bit less crowded than Baby, Eagle and Palm beach. The palapas are free, and you don't have to be a hotel client to get one. You only have to check if the chairs are for the resorts or the rental guy to be sure you won't be without chairs. They are 10$USD/ each and until 16h30pm. Sand is like white flour, small waves good fot kids. But it get deep rapidly. Easily walkable from one and to the others. Few minutes ( 5min.) From few restaurants and stores. There's slso a casino nearby. We took the bus from the terminal and to get to Divi and came back the same way.

Beautiful beach. Shame there is so hard to find a restroom or a bar (that is not owned by a hotel and charge 130 $ for a overcooked hamburger, a grilled sandwich, and two drinks😞
T C — Google review
This place is great. We were in a Lanai room and they are right on the beach. Unfortunitly some restaurants were closed when they were supposed to be open and only 1 bar realy stayed open late. Entertainment is more geared for kids, but late night bands were good. Be great if they had some fans around to help move air when its so hot with no wind. Loved being away from the crowds. Beach was never over packed. Always found a palapa open no matter what time we went out. All in all it was an amazing time!

Clean beach with soft sand Lovely sandy area for beach sports and great vistas for photos and swimming I'd recommend carrying your snorkels to all beaches in Aruba! You never know fish and coral sightings!

This it’s a great beach with beautiful turquoise water and white sand this area with palapas first come first serve it’s a great spot for enjoying your vacation! can be not too busy and have an amazing sunset. Very recommend
William H — Google review
Lovely, more quiet beach but not too wide. The bar next door is awesome with a great 3-4 pm happy hour. Only concern with divi was the road is close and you see and hear cars and golf carts. Otherwise lovely.
Samir B — Google review
Divi beach is long, there is parking on the side of the road but there are not many places. There are palapas which should be free for anyone but they are taken by hotels. Water is cold at the beginning but later gets a bit warmer, and color is nice if it’s sunny. It gets deep very quickly, currents are rough, there are a lot of waves and a lot of sea creatures. I saw eel almost an arm long, and very big fishes. Since it was super difficult to find any shade and the current is super strong, i didn’t stay here too long and didn’t return. And internet is bad here. Eagle, Arashi and Baby beach are better choices than this one.

Palm Beach in Aruba is a renowned 2-mile-long coastal strip known for its luxurious hotels, upscale dining options, trendy beach bars and cafes, and high-end shops. The area offers calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling, as well as picturesque sunrise and sunset strolls along the shore. At night, Palm Beach transforms into a vibrant hub with lively bars, nightclubs, casinos, cinemas, bowling alleys, and spa facilities within two of the island's largest shopping malls.
Not as beautiful as Aruba's famous Eagle Beach, but still a gorgeous stretch of sand (and lots more to see and do here, especially the highly-recommended Bugaloe).

An amazing place to chill, unwind, listen to great Caribbean music with a variety of different food options. Blue skies + blue waters = Paradise alert! 💙

It would be a 5 if not for the smell of sewage. Water is beautiful! Beach is white sand and lots to do nearby!
Maico C — Google review
This beach is just a few kilometers away from the Eagle beach (the nicest beach in Aruba, in my opinion), that's why I was so surprised to find out that it's not as clean (I'd even call it a little dirty). There was something floating in the water, and even the bottom was muddy or dirty. You could feel it when walking on it. It's also very busy with boats and sea jets in that area. Parking is difficult to find. We visited it once and never came back.

A sunny island with a daily light breeze. Make sure you stay in one of the accommodations on Palm Beach so that being near restaurants is easy to get to either walking or by taxi. Make sure you have cash because the island taxis only take that: no Uber on the island. There are a few Starbucks on the island, but they do not allow you to use the Starbucks app so make sure you have cash or a credit card. We went for 4 days, this was enough time to relax and enjoy the island. We did a sunset catamaran cruise, this is a must for everyone to experience: we did the Octopus Sailing Company cruise.
Dawn G — Google review
Having visited all the beaches of Aruba, I can say that Palm Beach is the best, especially if you are a guest of one of the hotels of this beach. All the activities you want to do are there, bars and restaurants are really good and varied options, and one important thing is that it is close to the market, so after watching the beautiful sunset, you can head straight to the market and see the beautiful place. Enjoying music everywhere, singers and people dancing and having fun. Most of the beaches I visited are filled with old people who just want to relax, so it's not very fun for young people who want to have a crazy time partying and wasting. If you don't like crowded places and crazy people who want to dance and have fun, this is not the place you want to visit. It's quiet in the morning in a few places but a bit far from bars and restaurants.
Yazan M — Google review
Palm Beach in Aruba is a dynamic coastal gem, offering more than just sun and sand. It's a hub of activity with a variety of water sports, numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities. If you're looking for a beach that combines relaxation with excitement, Palm Beach is the perfect destination. It's a lively and bustling area that caters to a range of interests, making it a must-visit spot in Aruba.

The Balashi Gold Mills, located near the Spanish Lagoon in Aruba, offer a unique and visually appealing experience for history enthusiasts and photographers alike. The ruins provide a glimpse into the island's rich history and serve as a stunning backdrop for photographs. Visitors can explore the remains of the gold mill and imagine the bustling activity of people searching for gold in the past.
Amazing experience. So honored to be able to explore an area with so much history and culture. If you walk to the top of the ruins you have a beautiful overlook of the island. The area was fairly empty. I arrived around 10-11am and only seen about 5-10 people. There’s tons of birds and owls in the area which can be seen with binoculars.

Free. Very cool and quick spot to visit. Would recommend if you like ruins/abandoned buildings. Parking is just a dirt area near the site. Quick walk up to the site and nice viewpoint over some of the island.

Barely any other tourist, and a nice breeze to cool off a bit. And, above all, interesting historic place on the island!
Reinier O — Google review
A collection of ruins and rusted metal in various degrees of decay, it's worth a visit if you're in the area. Take a stroll down to the lagoon while you're there. Paths are well maintained and it's easy to get around.

If you like history this is a cool place to visit. I was intrigued to see new tile floor and updated electrical in the building which makes me beleive it hasn't been abandoned as long as it says but also can't find history on it as of late. Go see what you think!
Chris L — Google review
Kind of a cool bit of Aruba history that they had their own gold rush and multiple gold mills. Lots of pieces still in place to explore. Be careful on the steps to go up. There's no railing, but worth the climb.

Interesting ruins with a fascinating history. There are some really nice trails in the area. Do yourself a favor and explore a bit.

Balashi Gold Mills is a cool, remote spot featuring old, abandoned mines that overlook the stunning Spanish Lagoon. It’s a fascinating place to explore and offers a glimpse into the island’s history and past economic ventures. A neat spot for history buffs or anyone looking to wander through Aruba's unique and lesser-known landmarks.

The tours cover some of the best places to visit in Aruba, so be sure to budget enough time to fully experience all that the island has to offer.
I was lucky to book this island tour last minute! Gio picked us up near the cruise port exit and is an amazing guide! We had limited time as we were just there for a day while cruising. He took us to all sites we requested, told us about the history of the island as well as answering all our questions! He had snorkel equipment and waters for us. He took pictures of us so we will have memories of our fun filled day! He stayed with us, making sure we were safe on the rocky coast areas. Can’t say enough great things about the experience! Highly recommend touring the island with them!!!

My wife and I had such an INCREDIBLE time on our tour of Arikok National Park with our guide Ross. He was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip through the park such a pleasure. We saw so many beautiful sites and learned so much not only about the park but about Aruba in general and about the local culture. We will certainly make this tour a regular part of our future visits to this beautiful island. Wish we could give more than just five stars!!

My wife and I had an amazing tour with Dess and Isla Aruba. We saw the highlights of Arikok National Park, including a swim in the natural pool. We would highly recommend Isla Aruba!
Sam B — Google review
Our Tour of the national park on Aruba using Isla Aruba Tours was really great. Our driver Dess was so friendly it felt like I’d known him for years, and he did a great job explaining everywhere we went. If you ever are using Isla Aruba Tours, I’d recommend Dess. The truck was very comfortable other than the bumpy roads in the park, but that’s to be expected with the dirt roads, and we were provided complimentary water to cool off. If you’re picking a company to do a tour with, I’d recommend Isla Aruba, and request Dess for the best experience.

I highly recommend him. The tour was fun, they show beautiful locations, and we learned a lot about the island. Thanks, we are looking forward to meet you on our next trip to Aruba.

We had an amazing experience visiting Arikok National Park with Isla Aruba Tours! Ross was the absolute best tour guide. He picked us up from our hotel and gave us an amazing tour while providing a ton of fun and interesting info on the Park, the island's history and culture, and we even talked a little baseball! We got to spend a lot of time at the Conchi Natural Pool (highly recommend!), the caves, and experienced a fresh-water fish pedicure. Ross even took us to a beautiful, more secluded beach to enjoy at the end of our tour. We definitely recommend Isla Aruba Tours and Ross to anyone visiting Aruba!

We booked with Isla because we prefer the privacy and the fact that you can go explore at your own pace . Our guide Dez showed up on time and was very cool, calm, and professional, we requested him for our next 2 tours of the island. Dez showed us pretty much everything on the island, not only did we see the normal parks and beaches, we had lunch at a lot of great local restaurants, bakery, and pub/bars. We really enjoyed our time! Thanks

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Mi Dushi's "Taste of Aruba" sailing and snorkeling tour. Kick off your day with delightful fresh baked goods and refreshing mimosas before diving into the vibrant underwater world, including a visit to the historic sunken WWII German freighter, the Antilla. After exploring, indulge in a mouthwatering lunch featuring Chicken Leg, Grouper in creole sauce, Caribbean Rice, Tomato Cucumber Salad, Fruit Skewers, and bread.
We had a fantastic experience on Mi Duchi (meaning “my sweetheart”)! The team on board kept the vibe going with great tunes, comedy and lots of fun. The drinks are fruity and great! Try the boom boom and the one love. We saw sea turtles and they gave us water bottles to feed the fish while snorkeling! At the end of the trip the rope swing was brought out and the guys all attempted to do backflips. Highly recommend this adventure!

The sunset cruise was amazing. They played great music, provided shish kabobs, and open bar. The staff was friendly and it was a worthwhile experience. They even have a swing were you can swing into the ocean. I highly recommend this sunset cruise!

I took this snorkeling tour as an excursion on my first cruise. It was an 8 day 4 stop cruise of the eastern Caribbean cruise to Grand Turk, Turk & Caicos; La Romana, Dominican Republic; Curacao; and Aruba. Obviously this was the Aruba excursion and I had blast. This was my first time going snorkeling too but that was ok they gave instructions of what to do prior to anyone getting into the water and provided the life vest, mask, and mouth piece for everyone. They also provided bottles with bread in them to feed the fish which I thought really made the experience amazing because the fish basically surround in the water when you put a piece of bread out for them. The boat has a restroom however not the cleanest. A bar was available with low quality liquor and lunch was also provided and although if wasn't the best I've ever had it wasn't the worst either. All in all I'd say I had a great time. I wasn't there for the food and drinks :)
Tiffany W — Google review
It was a fun 4 hour trip to 3 different locations, including the Antilla shipwreck. It was open bar the entire trip and a nice lunch was provided. The crew was fun, friendly, and helpful. At the end of the day we got to have fun on their rope swing, jumping into the water.

We went on Mi Dushi several times the best tour on the island. The service is very good! the lunch is delicious! open bar with good cocktails. Mi Dushi crew is the best!
Richeline K — Google review
What a great time. This was our second time in six years. The old ship was salvaged and scuttled. The new boat was great. There was even one of the original crewmembers. Would suggest maybe, you to take a large water bottle filled with bread. Put a few holes in the lid. Once you are in the water, squeeze the bottle and the fish will swarm all around you. We saw more different types of fish than ever before. They also serve a fantastic dinner of bbq fish filets and bbq chicken dinner. The captain and crew were courteous and helpful, plus funny. I being old and fat appreciated this. As you can see in the photos, they helped me to do the swing off of the boat. I've had a broken neck, and two major back surgery's and the swing was a lot of fun for all. When in Aruba snorkeling again, the Mi Dushi will be my only choice for snorkeling!
Clifford W — Google review
Mi Dushi was a great tour. Our boat was not crowded so it was very personal. Staff was a lot of fun and very helpful. We had lunch on boat and it was surprisingly good. Drinks were great too. Our 1st stop was Catalina cove it was the best spot, lots of colorful fish we fed them bread from a bottle. Next was the ship wreck it was interesting to see We are a large sea turtle while we were out there.
Marsha N — Google review
We had a fantastic time on Mi Dushi's. The guys in charge were super friendly. The food was tasty and the drinks were strong (so be mindful of that). We loved the ship snorkel the most. We may have lucked out but it wasn't a full boat which made it a more comfortable ride. The rope swing was a nice touch. Really a great deal.

With over 25 years of experience, this family-owned business provides half and full-day charters departing from the Renaissance Marina in downtown Oranjestad. The trips include an experienced captain and crew, top-notch fishing equipment, bait, refreshments, and snacks.
Anthony and Enrique were fabulous hosts on our fishing adventure! Very accommodating, challenged passengers! We caught plenty of fish! Highly recommend this adventure! We also enjoyed our catch at the restaurant later in the evening! They prepared each fish appropriately to enhance the fish!

Absolutely incredible time! The crew had us laughing and sweating because we had so many fish hooked up. The crew offered to have the restaurant across the street cook out fish so we did. The food and service was fantastic! I’d recommend Driftwood charters and restaurant to anyone looking for a great time and amazing food.

My fiance and I were in Aruba for the first time and wanted to go fishing. We choose Driftwood fishing charter and I don't think we could have made a better decision. The captain and crew were great! When it comes to fishing we knew it would all be a gamble if we even caught anything. In the meantime we had great conversations and good laughs with them. We did end up catching 3 fish, a mahi mahi and two sailfish. We really did had an amazing time! They brought the mahi mahi to the restaurant that we later went to for dinner and tried my fish fresh. We will definitely be back and definitely do another fishing trip! I can't remember their names, but we were on Driftwood 1 the pm charter on Halloween.

We went deep sea fishing on our honeymoon and had a blast! I had never been before & it was so much fun. We saw lots of dolphins (as you know isn’t good when you’re trying to fish) but that was super fun to experience as well. We caught some good little ones and highly recommend this charter. The crew went above and beyond to help us catch fish. We had gorgeous weather as well.

We went out with Driftwood during our recent trip to Aruba. We've been out with them in prior years and this was another fun trip. It was windier than typical the day we went out. The trip got cut a little short due to the kids not feeling the best. The crew was great with the kids, though, and took us back to the marina when we asked to head in. The crew still managed to put us on some kingfish and tuna in the short time we were out, which we then had for a delicious dinner at Driftwood Restaurant that evening. We'll be back, for sure. Thanks, guys!

Once in a lifetime experience!!! Captain Anthony, José and Sergio took us out for a full day of marlin fishing and did not disappoint. We got multiple hits on the marlin and landed one in the boat! We caught a 144" 400lbs Blue Marlin and 7 Mahi Mahi. Driftwood restaurant even cooked up our Mahi for us in multiple ways and it was to die for! Best Mahi I've ever had! 🤤 The crew made it such a fun day that we will never forget! Anthony is a top notch captain, can't wait to go out on our next trip to Aruba! Highly recommend 👍

I was in Aruba last week and went on a fishing trip with Driftwood Fishing Charters. It was my friend's 60th birthday and we were on the Driftwood II. The captain was Anthony and the first mate was Jose. It was the best deep sea fishing trip ever!

Had an epic trip on the Living Easy (Driftwood Charters). 30 minutes out from the marina we were hooked up. Caught a nice mahi. Another 20 minutes and we landed a wahoo. We had 7 to 8 strikes but never caught our fish. Then we got a sail to do a tail walk that threw the hook. It wasn't long before we hooked into an even bigger sail. This was a great catch and release. We had a few in our group get seasick so we headed back early. On the way in, we added another mahi to the box. The crew cleaned our fish and dinner was provided at The Driftwood Restaurant. I highly recommend. Friendly and professional crew.
