It was autumn and the leaves were colorful, great view of the two other castles from here and available parking near the Castello.

Small ( in relative sense) castle in excellent condition and nice views. Reachable by car (sufficient free parking) or by foot (some 40 -50 mins or so hiking up from main Piazza). Or tour trains. Free walking outside. Inside can be closed. Still well worth the short drive from below.

The walk up to the castle offered fabulous views of the city and Castello Grande. The path from the cental city square is made of stone and some steps (maybe 15 minutes). There are railings most of the way. An alternate way down we took the road from the oarking lot out of the castle through the draw bridge.

A beautiful castle on the edge of town. This castle was second castle of the three that were built. It was a relatively short walk from Castle grande, with some beautiful sights along the way. The castle was closed when I went there in November, (it's only open during the summer). However, I was still able to walk along the ramparts and see the city below, and some great views of castle grande. I was still able to explore most of the castle despite the fact it was closed on the inside as well. It is worth noting that it is also in the middle of a residential area and are no longer in downtown. There is also a parking lot so you could drive there, and a bus stop outside of it. Would love to go there when the museum is open again.

We had a really lovely meal here and we would say the best since being in Switzerland and Italy this last week. Inventive fresh food that is well priced and great meals other than basic pasta and pizza. The staff were great serving us as our Italian is poor. My husband had rabbit and I had the most amazing Caesar salad I think I have ever had. Servings were generous and beautifully presented.

Lovely atmosphere, and friendly, attentive wait staff. Unfortunately, our food (the pesto gnocchi and the porcini tagliatelle) were sadly disappointing— tasteless really. Maybe other dishes there are better, but I won’t be back to find out. :^(

The service was a bit grim. We chose the interior room as it has the AC, but as a tradeoff the table was attacked by flies.

The service was very polite and one spoke at least Italian, German and English. Dinner was very good and tasty. Everything was very fresh and tasted delicious too. You can also bring your dog and there are also conference rooms and you can also book it for a private event. For peak times it is better to reserve, there is also a menu that you have to order 24 hours in advance. The dessert (Tiramisu with strawberries and creme catalan) was delicious. We really enjoyed it here.

Just an excellent restaurant - I picked à la carte and could not have been happier with the incredibly tasty food and the great service. We had 3 times a (different) business lunch menu and each time the menu was really poor. A restaurant should not be assigned a Michelin star if the quality of their business lunch is not in line with the rest of their food.

15 minutes easy walk from the cableway middle station and a nice spot to refill your water bottle and enjoy a wide view over the whole verzasca valley. The church itself is very interesting for it's rather old but we'll preserved murals. A historian was present when we passed through, but I am not sure of that's always the case. There are also some clean and public bathrooms. From here it's a 45 minute walk to the ponte tibetano and another 45 minutes back down to the cableway ground station. For both of these walks bring good shoes and healthy joints cause it's a real hike. If you just go to the bridge and back you will find a very nice restaurant, also at the cable way midstation. Nice food and service.
