Perched at the entrance of the town, Castello Luna is a late 14th-century castle that was acquired by the Luna family through a strategic marriage. As you wander through the historic center, you'll encounter notable landmarks such as Chiesa di San Nicolo la Latina and Duomo, both showcasing Norman architectural influences.
Good information about Sciacca
Micky G — Google review
Nice place to see if you are in the area, would not travel to see it alone as it takes 20 minutes or so to go around
Daniel W — Google review
Not worth the 20 minute walk or the 3E ticket. Not even a good view. The minimul display was disappointing. Better suggestion is Casa Museo Francesco Scalione alongside the Basillica. Interesting ans free.
Henry L — Google review
It's a nice piece of Sciacca history. The castle was smaller than we thought. Beautiful view of the ocean, and town. Short walk. We weren't able to go up the tower. But I bet at night it lights up and is beautiful to dine in.
KimAn D — Google review
Pretty underappreciated place with small amounts of tourists! A very nice view from the castle walls! You can make great photos from there! The castle itself is pretty much in ruins, but there is a tower still standing with some historical and recreated weaponry and armor. I also liked the recounting of the castle's past, which you can read at the entrance.

They will charge you 3€ even though it is 15 minutes before closing time. I walked all the way up here but was not allowed a little peak inside. My only day i Sciacca so I can't come back.

Small castle but worth a quick visit. There are a number of small displays (the male chastity belt will raise eyebrows) and it has excellent views of the sea.

When in Sciacca, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Enchanted Castle, located just 10 minutes outside the city center. This unique creation is the work of Filippo Bentivegna, a local artist who returned from America to sculpt hundreds of stone heads and create a mysterious world of his own. The castle is set at the slopes of Kronio Mount and features an open-air museum with captivating sculptures amidst olive and almond trees.
Excellent experience. It was really relaxing and we enjoyed our time there
Oscar C — Google review
Interesting art exhibition! There is enough to see and experience if you’re looking for a fun pitt stop along your Sicilian road trip - allocate an hour and enjoy.
Sera A — Google review
Bizarre exhibition of hundreds of stone-carved heads. Also some biographical information about the disturbed artist (incl. free audio guide). And some caves. Well kept and intriguing.
Steve S — Google review
I’ve given this place two stars because I did not find this place personally enchanting, I am not the biggest art fan, but I can usually make some sort of understanding & appreciation of most things, even the place admits they don’t know what the artists inspiration was or why he carved faces carved in stone & trees. The grounds are nice & very well kept, make sure you bring cash to pay as the card machine struggles with connection.
Bobby D — Google review
A magical place, the legacy of an unconventional man. The artworks are not refined, but they are so numerous that they "enchant." With the audio guide, you relive a unique story — that of a truly remarkable man.
Enrico M — Google review
Fascinating place which cannot be compared to any museum or other "arty" location. Go there when it's quiet. You enter a magical world of a self taught sculptor who created around 3000 heads in stone and some in tree trunks. Apparently he suffered some head injuries in a fight in the US (+ brain damage?) and upon return to Sciaccia lived a secluded life, creating his own world and refusing to sell any of his works.
Jozias T — Google review
We came here out of the blue and were pleasantly surprised, this amazing labyrinth up to the caves had us not know where to look. It's mystical and magical.
Kate K — Google review
To see the the beauty of stones and the imagination Mr Bentivegna put into his outsider art put us in another place for the time while there. You forget about what's going on and take in the quietness and passion of his garden. Some might have made fun of his talent but he saw something that no person could model for.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante La Lampara is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience, especially for those seeking a romantic seafood dinner with stunning views. Nestled near the bustling port, this restaurant captivates guests with its elegant presentation and high-quality dishes rooted in Sicilian tradition. The attentive service enhances the overall experience, making each meal feel special. While it may be located on a busy road, which can disrupt the ambiance slightly, the exquisite tasting menu and exceptional wine selection more than make up for it.
Stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Great food, excellent service and champagne by the glass! I would eat here again in a heartbeat if I am ever in Sciacca again.
Joanne Z — Google review
We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, I would describe the cuisine a modern Italian (Sicilian) fusion. The limone dessert was outstanding.
Matthias K — Google review
It was great. Nice welcome, and surely we were not t ready to have all of the amazing experiences we had tonight! Would recommend, also the wine was a good experience! Maybe next time I will have a grappa on the house 😃 Grazie mille y a tutti
Thibaut D — Google review
Excellent food, in a great experience. Chef Gianni Morreale provided us a wonderful dinner. I am a bread lover, and there it is a must, even the bread!!!
Roberto R — Google review
This restaurant impresses with its sophisticated presentation and high-quality dishes, complemented by attentive service. The prices, while above average, reflect the quality of the meals. However, the location leaves something to be desired. Situated on a busy road leading to the port, the ambiance is disrupted by the constant bustle, and accessing the restaurant requires taking an elevator, which might be inconvenient for some. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience remains positive, making it a good choice for those seeking refined cuisine and are less concerned about the setting.
Michele S — Google review
Very good food with fresh ingredients. Super close to the harbor with a nice view but unfortunately it’s right above one of the main streets and this ruins a bit the atmosphere if there is traffic
Martina C — Google review
Top notch restaurant. Must experience ,food and wine is exceptional Excellent service and info on wine provided. Their Grappa selection also amazing. Gets busy so book early to avoid disappointment. Nice view over the harbour and parking close by, steps to old town right next door. Probably for me best in Sciacca.

Nestled in the charming heart of Sciacca, Ristorante Le Stranizze offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully marries traditional Sicilian cuisine with modern flair. Set within a converted 8th-century tower, this restaurant provides an enchanting atmosphere where diners can enjoy their meals while soaking in the vibrant energy of the old town.
Stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering around and it was packed - the rest of the city was completely empty that evening (end of October). We wanted to sit out so the staff brought up an extra table. The wine was excellent as well as the food - had a great evening. Highlight of our Sicily trip!
Adriana J — Google review
Food was well prepared and well presented. We both had the Lamb ribs. I really recommend the Nero D’Avola red wine, it was great quality for a good price. It seems they only work with this one winery, however, it is really good.
Paulo M — Google review
We have been in Sicily for 2 weeks, and have decided that this restaurant had the best food so far. If you are in Sciacca please visit this restaurant! It is amazing!
Carolyn S — Google review
We dined at Le Stranizze on our second night in Sciacca after being recommended the restaurant from our resort butler. The restaurant has a number of outdoor and indoor seats, but we opted for an outdoor table as the weather was nice and we loved seeing all of the activity outside in the heart of Sciacca. We were greeted by the restaurant employees promptly at the time of our reservation who were all warm and nice, and our server came by a few minutes later after we were seated to introduce herself and answered any initial questions we had. The server also gave us an introduction to their restaurant who also has a winery about 15 minutes away from the restaurant (and all wines from their wine list at the restaurant come from their winery). We ordered a bottle of Magaria (22 euros) and the wine was an extremely good quality and we loved it! For a starter, we ordered the Schiaffoni di Gargano (15 euros) and the pasta was also amazing and very fresh, and plenty big for the two of us to share. For entrees, we ordered Beef filet (22 euros) and the Grilled pork pluma (20 euros) and both were also outstanding and we split the dishes so we both could try two different things. For a dessert, we ordered the deconstructed cannoli which I think was around 5 euros and also was very outstanding and unique. All food was out of this world and very memorable. It tasted liked we were dining at a Michelin starred dining establishment! I highly recommend trying the restaurant if you're in the Sciacca area!
Adam S — Google review
Really good dining experience. Staff is is very well trained, food is excellent, specially the octopus which had an amazing texture. Arancione with shrimps was very well balanced and the pistachio sauce was good. The sirloin was on point and the tomatoes were amazingly fresh. Fillet felt like butter, I think I've never had one that soft. Wine selection although short was well selected and is nothing to complain about.
Jorge J — Google review
best atmosphere, the tables are placed in the alley and so you can watch people and the hustle and bustle of the city while dining. the greeting from the kitchen was thoughtful and exquisite. for our starter we chose caponata. the tasteful play with chocolate, vegetables, cheese and sauce was heavenly. probably the best preparation of this famous starter of our entire sicilian trip. the pasta dishes that followed were no less impressive. as i had to drive for another 2 hours after dinner, i was unfortunately unable to taste any wine. a must here. the service, on the other hand, was a little frosty. anyway, we would definitely go again.
Nathalie R — Google review
The octopus starter was good but the tuna was overcooked, dry and under-seasoned. They also sat us next to a garden area at night where there were lots of mosquitos.
Ondi T — Google review
Very delicious Sicilian food and wines, gourmet style. We were there two times for dinner and everything was tasty, caprese salad, grilled octopus, beef filet, time steak. Just there were many people and we had to wait for a while at the beginning. Convenient location in the city center in the pedestrian zone. Big public parking 5 min walking.

Ristorante Sciacca Hostaria del Vicolo is a charming family-run establishment known for its fresh and innovative take on traditional Sicilian cuisine. The founder, Nicola Bentivegna, oversees a menu that features cleverly reimagined classics such as Grandma's sardine soup, busiate pasta with broad bean puree and shrimps, and anglerfish with wakame, saffron, and almond sauce.
We had lunch here on a Saturday early afternoon. The restaurant is a bit hidden in a small pedestrian street and from the outside, only limited signs indicate that you have a gourmet and Michelin restaurant here. We were greeted and seated by the attentive, friendly and professional head waiter and got his full attention throughout the meal. We ordered a la carte but there is also set menu price and two different tasting menus. For primo, we had the risotto di angelo (Nebrodi black pork cheek, pumpkin cream) and it was absolutely delicious and very harmonious. The creaminess of the risotto and cheese went very well with the floweriness and freshness of the pumpkin on the one hand and the crispiness and saltiness of the pork/guancale. This is definitely a stand-out dish and kudos to the chef(s) for creating such a memorable experience! For secondi, we had the monkfish (pictured) and the picanha steak. Both were very good but the steak impressed us a bit more. It was a very high-quality cut, very tender and grilled perfectly to our preference. The monkfish was nicely cooked too, refined and balanced, and the tomatoes brought a wonderful freshness and sweetness to the dish, but the portion could have been a bit more substantial and could have upped the creamy element in the form of more more potato purée. For dolci, we went for their signature dessert, which is a variation of canolli but is served warm, uses a crêpe instead of the usual fried pastry and has a sweet pumpkin cream filling. It was amazing and left us with a worthy conclusion of an altogether very convincing and satisfying meal, and therefore clearly deserving of the full five stars.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of my mother who had visited 34 years ago!! I got the daily set lunch menu ($50 euros) and it was absolutely delicious! The octopus starter blew my mind - i have never had such tender and delicate octopus and the smoky flavor and smooth bean cream suited it perfectly. I also really enjoyed the roll crepe with semifreddo and zucchini jam a Sciaccan speciality. Light, sweet, with a lovely mix of textures and flavors!! The service was very friendly and professional and I felt very welcomed and comfortable despite the fine dining atmosphere. I loved getting to meet the waiter and owner and hope to come back before another 34 years passes! :)

Excellent food, very quiet when we arrived for lunch post-COVID. The raw fish starter was phenomenal and so fresh. The risotto was perfectly balanced. And the steamed fish was so fresh and floral and interestingly flavored.

We were there for lunch. The food was good, we had Fuseloni with pesto after a mixed salad and Paccheri followed by beef fillet. Accompanied by water and two glasses if wine. We paid 114€, so it is quite expensive!

We needed dinner on our first Sunday in Sicily. All the places we knew in Sciacca were closed but we found the Art Deco cafe open. The welcome was not as friendly as normal and the service a little offhand, but the food when it arrived was very good indeed.

I recently dined at Hosteria del Vicolo and as always, the food was exceptional and the service was top-notch. Over time, we've become regulars, visiting at least once a month, and each experience continues to impress. The quality of the dishes never disappoints, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience!

Absolutely fantastic, Sicilian faire. Beautiful linens and fantastic service. The bacon octopus anti pasti was sublime and the monk fish medallions were magnificent. One must have the amazing Sicilian bread and young Olive oil. Highly recommended.

Diner
Ristorante Osteria Cappellino is a straightforward trattoria that serves traditional local cuisine. It has a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of both tourists and locals, and the TV is always on. While it may be possible to order à la carte, the friendly host usually defaults to a fixed menu. The appetizers are particularly enjoyable, with well-executed frying and an eggplant dish being highlights. However, the pasta dishes can become repetitive.
If you want an authentic Sicilian meal, surrounded by locals in the charming streets of Sciacca, this is the place. Recommended by a local, it was just what we wanted. Small menu of tried and tested local dishes. Charming staff, family run, felt like it’s been operating this way for decades and it’s a formula that serves them well. We took their recommendation on the wine (€30) and it was the best bottle we’ve had on the island.
Humphrey B — Google review
first, this is a simple trattoria offering characteristic local home cuisine, the best we can judge, with the TV on all the time, a mix of tourists and locals. It might be possible to order a la carte but friendly host defaulted to fixed menu and we went along. the ample mix of dishes presented as appetizers and primi seems to change over the course of the evening according to cook's preference. Appetizers were the best part, good frying and egglplant dish, pastas somewhat repetitious though. fish secondo grilled with breadcrumbs acceptable but not as good as we had elsewhere. Price fair for the quantity and quality.

Dining in Sicily is always an adventure. This location had seating outside in a alley/courtyard. The atmosphere was interesting with lights hanging above and music playing. When we asked for a menu we were told there isn't one. Ok? The server told us they will prepare a fixed price menu for 40 euros of a starter along with a main and second dish of fish and pasta. This was not what we wanted but chose to stay for something a little less and paid 30 euros per person. While the food was fine it was not anything special. I was not a fan of this type of tactic and felt we did not receive a great value. The staff was friendly and attentive. I don't feel I would go there again.
Mark G — Google review
We randomly chose this place, and the minute they didn't show us a menu but instead told us what they offered, I knew we were being trapped by this restaurant. The food was good, they just didn’t want us to know how much we are going to pay. We paid 72 euros for a fish dish. The owner suggested we should have antipasto, pasta, and a main dish — if we had been completely fooled by him, it would have cost us over 300 euros! We also saw customers who were so upset that they left without paying. What a show! Overall, If you're looking for a dramatic experience, I highly recommend this place.

Small place. You get the daily menu for lunch. The proprietor had better English than my Italian. We were here 12 years ago with our daughter and found it again since our other favorite, Antics Osteria della Victoria was closed today. Excellent local cuisine. Tonno polpette, fresh sardines w/white wine vinegar, calamari salad and more as the antipasti. 2 Primi: tonno 🍝 w/ sauce of red pepper, almonds & mint👍🏼👍🏼and Pasta with shrimp and pistachio sauce. Seconding: grilled spada, gamberi & melanzane w/ fresh tomatoes. All prepared perfectly. And lemon granita for dessert.

Pasticceria La Favola, an enchanting bakery in Sciacca, offers a unique specialty called Ova Murina. For a wider variety of treats, one can visit Bar Rossi or Bar Dante. This charming place lives up to its name, providing an experience akin to Cinderella's transformation after being kissed by her prince. The standout delicacy is the cassata, undoubtedly the best in all of Sicily.
The pasticceria specializes in two sweets typical for Sciacca, with long traditions traced back to the the local Baroque monastery sweet making. Try at least the ova murina, with filling that contains the typical Sicilian pumpkin jam (you might know similar products from Spain and Portugal).

We've recently discovered Sciacca's main square (great view, perfect wedding spot) and were starving for a good ice cream. Unfortunately, we picked this authentic-looking bar over the more modern ones: we sat down and were nicely welcomed by a young boy who wanted our order immediately. After asking for some time, we ordered ice-cream and different types of granita. We specialize in local sweets and we could not appreciate any of them: my almond granita was not even a granita. The most ridiculous part was the payment: my husband faced a very nervous lady who started to shout at everybody in the pub because she couldn't find the sticky note of our order. We tried to give her the list, but she kept criticizing how poor everybody in that bar was. It was a really unpleasant scene.

The Antiquarium di Monte Kronio - S. Calogero stoves, a unique natural spectacle in the world, have been made accessible by dedicated volunteers. This tourist attraction is open exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm. However, it is crucial not to confuse it with the site of the old thermal baths which have been closed for years. Negative reviews stem solely from individuals who mistakenly went to the wrong location and thus couldn't experience its wonders.
(Translated by Google) Hi everyone, I was there on August 17, 2023. Unfortunately the spa has been closed for 7 years. But, there are six local volunteers who will show you the cave where the humble monk San Calogero lived. Patron saint of Sciacca, but also of Agrigento. It was the patron saint of Sciacca and Wonderworker who discovered these healing properties and spread the need to spread it to everyone for therapeutic purposes only. Hence the construction of these spas, which were interrupted for use for about 7 years. Furthermore, highly trained local volunteers will take you to visit two caves. One that was used to treat animals and the second, for the care of people. Incredible how these natural vapors always exist at temperatures above 40°, call yourself "The Breath of the Earth"! Unique and unforgettable experience. (Translated by Google) A spacious municipal park with a lovely pond, where friendly geese squawk. The location is truly deplorable, left to decay, with filth, neglect, and vandalism. The poor work of art, dedicated to the Fallen, stands out among the overgrown weeds. A real shame for the Municipality, which fails to care for a historic public asset, causing inconvenience to tourists, and a disgrace to the people of Sacca, who do not deserve such disgrace.

In the historical district, there are open snack establishments during lunch including Bar Rossi and Bar del Corso which are highly favored. A charming local café offers a variety of traditional treats such as granite and croissants. The menu boasts numerous options, with a particularly recommended choice being anything featuring pistachio cream. The coffee is exceptional, and for an authentic Sicilian breakfast, one can enjoy a lemon granita on the side. The staff at this establishment is incredibly kind and helpful.
Beautiful little local cafe where they serve all the traditional granite and croissants. You have a lot to choose from and my recommendation is anything with Pistachio cream! Coffee is phenomenal and for a traditional Sicilian breakfast get a lemon granita on the side. Staff is super nice and helpful.

We stopped at Café Rossi in Sciacca and absolutely loved it. We had two brioches with gelato (pistachio and chocolate) and two granitas (lemon and almond). The granitas were easily the best we’ve had in Sicily – and we’ve tried many in Sciacca, Catania, and Palermo. They were the biggest, smoothest, and most refreshing. The brioche with gelato was massive, with super creamy and delicious ice cream. Service was quick and attentive, the atmosphere was local and welcoming, and prices were very affordable. We even noticed people enjoying Aperol spritzes that looked amazing. Overall, 10/10 – a must-stop in Sciacca!

The place is really rundown and sad. Great potential, beautiful views and surroundings, but full of rubbish and litter thrown by people visiting. It seems like Sicilian people do not like to take care of their areas of natural beauty, and do not feel responsible for disposing of their rubbish in the proper way. I know, this should really be taken care of by the town or regional council, but when it isn't the citizens have the power to organise it. The caves were closed, I think indefinitely, which is a shame, another natural resource that is closed to the public

Great museum - the last two rooms were such a “walk down memory lane”. The owner was very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the toys and history. A very lovely experience.

This is a place which is going to become big and important. Now, it's still at its early childhood, the design is a bit old-fashioned and the rooms are a bit dark and spooky, but the whole thing has a great potential: it shows the history of toys starting from the 1880's till 1980's. For little kids it was a bit boring, but for us, big kids in their 40's, it was great to see our toys again. I really loved the shop-owner, who charmed us away with some really nice stories and whose passion was contagious. I suggest that they order some of the toys from the last room, so people can buy one and take a piece of this magic world home. Nice people, great initiative.

It was our biggest highligt during the Sicily holiday. This is way more than just a soap museum! During the "botanical adventure in the middle of the olives" Alessandro gave us insights into the wonderful project on sustainable permaculture. The olives grove is so beautiful, and we learned a lot about other mediterrean plant species. We had a chance to taste the extra virgin oil and some olives as well as the pomgranades. Also their new product - artisian gin with pomegrande and 4 other botanicals is just amazing - we bought 1 bottle and are looking forward to enjoy it at home! We can highly recommend it, it's a suitable experience for families with children, our 2yo fell in love with the juicy pomegranades. The booking was straight forward, Alessandro responded very quickly to my email and all the communication was in flawless English. Payment possible by card or in cash after the tour.

With a short walk outside, Alessandro showed us a piece of his land where his olives grow. He also showed us how to taste olive oil. The tour ended with a few glasses of wine on top of the house with a stunning view over the surrounding landscape. Grazie per l'esperienza (in tutte le tue lingue), ci siamo sentiti molto bene.

A compact yet worthwhile place to explore briefly, it features various exhibits (including a controversial male chastity belt) and boasts magnificent views of the ocean.
Good information about Sciacca

Nice place to see if you are in the area, would not travel to see it alone as it takes 20 minutes or so to go around

Not worth the 20 minute walk or the 3E ticket. Not even a good view. The minimul display was disappointing. Better suggestion is Casa Museo Francesco Scalione alongside the Basillica. Interesting ans free.

It's a nice piece of Sciacca history. The castle was smaller than we thought. Beautiful view of the ocean, and town. Short walk. We weren't able to go up the tower. But I bet at night it lights up and is beautiful to dine in.

Grotte Vaporose del Monte Kronio - Grotte di Dedalo offers a truly evocative and enchanting experience guided by passionate volunteers. The visit provides insight into the mystical place with unique natural characteristics, where the force of nature pushes warm air to the top of Mount Kronos. Visitors are encouraged to leave an offer to support future tours. It's a must-visit destination in Europe, offering high-quality guided tours that bring this extraordinary place to life.
(Translated by Google) I visited them on June 22, 2024. Very suggestive not so much for its appearance but for this steam that comes from the crack in the rock at a temperature of over 44 degrees with 100% humidity so, in those few minutes (maximum 3) of stay you find yourself completely wet and hot to the point that, returning outside, the 35 degrees of that day were very pleasant. Staff made up of very courteous and competent volunteers. Before entering you must register and sign a release given the high heat which means that it is also prohibited for pregnant women, those suffering from heart or high blood pressure, and those with other pathologies. Entry without ticket with the possibility of making an offer. Be careful of the very limited opening hours, at least in this period: only Fri/Sat/Sun from 5pm to 7pm. Absolutely recommended. Assolutamente consigliato.

The visits are managed by an association of volunteers who with a lot of good will (and as almost always, without public support) manage to enhance this complex of caves in which one can witness the phenomenon of the rising steam produced by deep magmatic activities. Steam which, when they were functioning, powered the Sciacca spa. The visits are free but the volunteers accept donations with a free amount. Advised. Ok so we read in the reviews already the unfriendly answers to people commenting that the place is closed. We also went because the whole situation is unclear: The location in Google maps is wrong This locations' maps page seems to be claimed by an event business 80% of information here in Sicilly in google maps seems to be inaccurate. So why would someone, from the facts above, take away the site really is closed? Put the official website, put why and how long its closed and that's it. Not so complicated. By the way we had a friendly family from Sambuca with us. Italians from Sicily and also they didn't understand what's going on. And maybe write a bit nicer replies to people. However we didn't regret it as the view is breathtaking.;)

(Translated by Google) I think it is an excellent tourist initiative, which promotes the Sacco area and which also stimulates an interest in its cultural heritage and local beauties in the local community. The five senses community or museum turns out to be an excellent tourist attraction for those who visit Sciacca, making them feel like temporary citizens of the place and also encouraging the Sicilians themselves to appreciate their own territory. Becoming themselves disseminators of their own beauties. In addition to the services offered, I think that the real strength of this museum is the involvement and making the Sicilians themselves feel like an active part of a united community. And I think this is a starting point for a sense of community that was so lacking in our area. Well done and I hope you continue like this and that your way is an example to follow, which could stimulate other local Sicilian and non-Sicilian communities.

It is an entire community that has chosen to unite to protect the peculiar identities of its land and share them with the traveller, through numerous experiences aimed at enhancing all 5 senses: the flavor of local foods, the colors of the Sicilian lands, the sounds and works of the people who live in Sciacca, and the scents of their fruits. I had the pleasure of meeting the very nice Daleo gentlemen, who love creating personalized environments with their fabrics, and Mrs Sabrina, whose refined hands create coral creations of extraordinary elegance and originality. Finally, thanks to this initiative, Toni's availability and kindness, I was able to work on my first ceramic and, after several minutes of work, I was unable to create anything similar to his great works 😂 I recommend everyone to go there and try even just one of the experiences they offer, you won't regret it! I conclude with their motto: Assabinidica! (Translated by Google) My experience with the Museo Diffuso 5 Sensi was very disappointing from the start. I had booked a workshop with my friends and, even though they told me that they would call me to confirm the workshop, I ended up having to call and insist on receiving a confirmation. After several calls, we finally got an appointment for September 6th at 5 pm, with advance payment. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Sciacca, the designated place for the workshop (a restaurant) was closed. After contacting the manager, they informed us that there would be a 10 minute delay due to organizational problems. The delay then lasted for half an hour, and we were about to leave disappointed when we finally met the workshop instructor, who explained to us that he had only been informed at 5 pm and needed time to organize himself. This meant that the workshop would start at 5:45 pm. Of course, we had a later dinner planned and we would not have been able to complete a 2-hour workshop with a 45 minute delay. I was refunded but my vacation day was ruined by their extremely poor and unprofessional organization. I would strongly advise against booking a workshop with them.

I had the opportunity of visiting Studio D'Arte Michele Bono in September and absolutely loved Mr. Bono's creative work. After visiting several art studios in Sicily, I can say this one is - by far - the best. Additionally, Mr. Bono is very helpful, attentive, and always willing to explain his art. He has mastered the traditional ceramic techniques and apply them to create unique innovative pieces. I purchased a beautiful sculpture and wish I had space in my luggage to buy more.
