Ristorante Italia is a charming gem nestled close to the sea, offering an unforgettable dining experience. This cozy establishment prides itself on serving exceptional cuisine, with a particular emphasis on fresh seafood that tantalizes the taste buds. The dishes are expertly crafted by Chef Nino and his family, ensuring every meal is both delicious and memorable. Guests rave about the attentive service provided by friendly staff members like Vincenzo, who enhance the warm atmosphere of this inviting locale.
We had a great lunch a few days ago. The owner and chef Nino was in the kitchen. The son Vincenzo was our waiter. Good, service , location were very good. Talking with both father and son was also a highlight of the meal. Fresh seafood and pasta ! Recommended !!!
Thuy D — Google review
Very good seafood dishes (I really reccomend the fish with the citrus sause and parfait di mandlore for the dessert). The servise was also very nice.

We had the set Xmas lunch. Superb food carefully selected for combinations of flavours. Excellent service.

Wonderful discovery! Really excellent food, well prepared and delicious. The service was outstanding. We had not made reservations but managed to snag the last table. Nino is the chef in the kitchen and the rest of the family helps. Highly recommend!

Conveniently located by the sea. Foods are fresh as could be with flavors that fills the palate with sea. Good priced dishes surprised when we received the bill. Good and attentive services with English speaking staffs. Love to go back!!! for more...
S. L — Google review
Menu looks nice. But level of quality of dishes vs. preferable by me "Al Faro Trattoria" (distance is 500m) as like 3/5. Good service don't have a chance to covering kitchen quality.
Mariusz G — Google review
Went there mid March, so low season, but I didn't expect that the fish would be that bad. It was fresh, I assume, but poorly grilled and with all the bowels still inside. Sick the whole evening and day after, definitely wouldn't recommend unless they learn how to grill a fish even during low touristic season.

Initially, the individual intended to dine at Lampara restaurant but was turned away due to its busy state. However, they spotted Ristorante Porto San Paolo from their balcony and decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, they climbed up some stairs and found a bustling atmosphere. A kind woman welcomed them and provided a table with a view of the port. Although the kitchen closed early that day due to a public holiday, this did not pose any issue.
We had an amazing first experience at a port restaurant. The staff was very attentive and patient as we had no idea how the “catch of the day” worked. Our waiter taught us so much and offered to clean our first table side.. which was so outstanding. it was cooked perfectly, and desert was great. They got busy with a party and they served them quickly and attentively without forgetting about us. VERY incredible people and food. DEFINITELY one of the best restaurant in Sciacca!
Juliarose G — Google review
One of my most favorite meals in Sicily. The view is outstanding, they were very attentive and the food was amazing. I chose my fish from the daily catch, they weighed it then cooked it up. It was lovely!
K C — Google review
The food was okay, meeting basic expectations but not particularly memorable. The service was good, though not outstanding. The squid ink pasta we ordered for takeout, however, tasted very good. The restaurant offers a nice view but lacks a unique vibe that would make it truly stand out.
Kelvin — Google review
The place is a must. It should be cumpulsury eating here. I'm Italian but I live abroad since many years. I come to Italy for my holidays, and this is my first time in Sciacca. Well ristorante Porto San Paolo Is Just the place. It's in the port, just in front of the fishing boats. So they get to chose the fish as first, even before the market people. You walk up some steep steps and arrive to a covered terrace, that looks at the port. Classical Sicilian ambient, so no zen, no lounge. Rather a proper port restaurant, with very little tourists, mainly locals that now, for lunch, come from their offices. So no posh. But by far the best fish you can get in Sicily though. By far really And that's because all fish in Italy goes straight from the ships to Milan's fish market, and then gets redistributed. The Sciacca area is where the Italian most important fishing fleet stays. So here they fish the best we have in the Mediterranean, and in the morning when the ships come back in, big trucks come and take the fish directly to Milan market. The only person that intercepts that fish first, is the chef of this restaurant. So...🥳😉 The Christine con le alici di Sciacca Is something you must try before you fly back. Same for the blu shrimps. Think of me when you are eating, your gratitude and blessings will surely make my life better 😉❤️
Sveva F — Google review
We stayed in the Sciacca area for vacation recently and our hotel butler advised us that Porto San Paola was a great spot nearby that many locals would eat at for a consistently good dining and servicing experience. They made us a reservation same day for dinner and we arrived promptly at our dining time and were seated immediately at a table overlooking the water and city. The views are purely stunning for sunset! The servers were all so nice and I believe it's a small family owned establishment, and I think the owners were also waiting on us at some point during the meal. All of the restaurant employees were so nice, welcoming, and offered to answer any questions we had on the menu. We started with a bottle of white wine and it was amazing! I think most wines of their menu were less than 25 euros a bottle. They also provided us with a basket of bread to start complimentary as well. We started with Panelle to start as an appetizer (little chickpea fritters, they were amazing! 5 euros for I believe they were 5 fritters). We also ordered the Busiate alla Norma (13 euros, this was the best and freshest pasta you could imagine, truly amazing and they split it for us in the kitchen and was plenty big for two people to share). For entrees, we both ordered the Filetto di pesce fresco (fresh fish filet, 20 euros), and included a few small vegetables as well. We also ended with a Canolli for desert, and OMG it was the best cannoli I've ever had. I believe it was 3 euros and the flavor was out of this world. We split the cannoli in two, but I think I could have eaten two of them just myself! I really felt like we were eating in a Michelin starred restaurant, the food quality and preparation were amazing, along with the service was very white glove as well. If you're in the Sciacca area, definitely give them a try!
Adam S — Google review
The view is really good, but not super impressed with the food compared with the price. I complained about some issues with the juice. They just wiped it of and said it was suger - but then gave me a new one (BUT they ended up charging me 3€ for it).
Lars8747 — Google review
Wow, absolutely amazing. Great view, great staff, and the food is perfect. Had the fritti platter, and some of the best calamari I've ever had. Also had the pesche al sale. It was a branzino. Definitely all the best seafood I've had ever. The ownership is a husband and wife, and their daughter, and they are all extremely nice and welcoming. The view of the med and harbor is beautiful, and an amazing sunset as well. Highly highly recommend.
DANIEL L — Google review
Service was really poor. We had to remind the waiters multiple times of what we had ordered and they were annoyed when we did. We asked 3 seperate waiters for the bill and ended up going to the counter where we had to bank transfer (very dodgy) and they were quite rude and impatient. The food was average and portion sizes were tiny with an extortionate price tag. Only redeeming quality was the view of the harbour which was beautiful at sunset. We paid £50 for two plates of basic tomato pasta.

Ristorante La Lampara is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience, especially for those seeking a romantic seafood dinner with stunning views. Nestled near the bustling port, this restaurant captivates guests with its elegant presentation and high-quality dishes rooted in Sicilian tradition. The attentive service enhances the overall experience, making each meal feel special. While it may be located on a busy road, which can disrupt the ambiance slightly, the exquisite tasting menu and exceptional wine selection more than make up for it.
Stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Great food, excellent service and champagne by the glass! I would eat here again in a heartbeat if I am ever in Sciacca again.

We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, I would describe the cuisine a modern Italian (Sicilian) fusion. The limone dessert was outstanding.
Matthias K — Google review
It was great. Nice welcome, and surely we were not t ready to have all of the amazing experiences we had tonight! Would recommend, also the wine was a good experience! Maybe next time I will have a grappa on the house 😃 Grazie mille y a tutti
Thibaut D — Google review
Excellent food, in a great experience. Chef Gianni Morreale provided us a wonderful dinner. I am a bread lover, and there it is a must, even the bread!!!
Roberto R — Google review
This restaurant impresses with its sophisticated presentation and high-quality dishes, complemented by attentive service. The prices, while above average, reflect the quality of the meals. However, the location leaves something to be desired. Situated on a busy road leading to the port, the ambiance is disrupted by the constant bustle, and accessing the restaurant requires taking an elevator, which might be inconvenient for some. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience remains positive, making it a good choice for those seeking refined cuisine and are less concerned about the setting.
Michele S — Google review
Very good food with fresh ingredients. Super close to the harbor with a nice view but unfortunately it’s right above one of the main streets and this ruins a bit the atmosphere if there is traffic
Martina C — Google review
Top notch restaurant. Must experience ,food and wine is exceptional Excellent service and info on wine provided. Their Grappa selection also amazing. Gets busy so book early to avoid disappointment. Nice view over the harbour and parking close by, steps to old town right next door. Probably for me best in Sciacca.

Sicilian restaurant
Ristorante Sciacca Hostaria del Vicolo is a charming family-run establishment known for its fresh and innovative take on traditional Sicilian cuisine. The founder, Nicola Bentivegna, oversees a menu that features cleverly reimagined classics such as Grandma's sardine soup, busiate pasta with broad bean puree and shrimps, and anglerfish with wakame, saffron, and almond sauce.
We had lunch here on a Saturday early afternoon. The restaurant is a bit hidden in a small pedestrian street and from the outside, only limited signs indicate that you have a gourmet and Michelin restaurant here. We were greeted and seated by the attentive, friendly and professional head waiter and got his full attention throughout the meal. We ordered a la carte but there is also set menu price and two different tasting menus. For primo, we had the risotto di angelo (Nebrodi black pork cheek, pumpkin cream) and it was absolutely delicious and very harmonious. The creaminess of the risotto and cheese went very well with the floweriness and freshness of the pumpkin on the one hand and the crispiness and saltiness of the pork/guancale. This is definitely a stand-out dish and kudos to the chef(s) for creating such a memorable experience! For secondi, we had the monkfish (pictured) and the picanha steak. Both were very good but the steak impressed us a bit more. It was a very high-quality cut, very tender and grilled perfectly to our preference. The monkfish was nicely cooked too, refined and balanced, and the tomatoes brought a wonderful freshness and sweetness to the dish, but the portion could have been a bit more substantial and could have upped the creamy element in the form of more more potato purée. For dolci, we went for their signature dessert, which is a variation of canolli but is served warm, uses a crêpe instead of the usual fried pastry and has a sweet pumpkin cream filling. It was amazing and left us with a worthy conclusion of an altogether very convincing and satisfying meal, and therefore clearly deserving of the full five stars.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of my mother who had visited 34 years ago!! I got the daily set lunch menu ($50 euros) and it was absolutely delicious! The octopus starter blew my mind - i have never had such tender and delicate octopus and the smoky flavor and smooth bean cream suited it perfectly. I also really enjoyed the roll crepe with semifreddo and zucchini jam a Sciaccan speciality. Light, sweet, with a lovely mix of textures and flavors!! The service was very friendly and professional and I felt very welcomed and comfortable despite the fine dining atmosphere. I loved getting to meet the waiter and owner and hope to come back before another 34 years passes! :)
Sadie P — Google review
Excellent food, very quiet when we arrived for lunch post-COVID. The raw fish starter was phenomenal and so fresh. The risotto was perfectly balanced. And the steamed fish was so fresh and floral and interestingly flavored.
Garrett G — Google review
We were there for lunch. The food was good, we had Fuseloni with pesto after a mixed salad and Paccheri followed by beef fillet. Accompanied by water and two glasses if wine. We paid 114€, so it is quite expensive!
Fabian H — Google review
We needed dinner on our first Sunday in Sicily. All the places we knew in Sciacca were closed but we found the Art Deco cafe open. The welcome was not as friendly as normal and the service a little offhand, but the food when it arrived was very good indeed.
Christopher N — Google review
I recently dined at Hosteria del Vicolo and as always, the food was exceptional and the service was top-notch. Over time, we've become regulars, visiting at least once a month, and each experience continues to impress. The quality of the dishes never disappoints, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience!

Absolutely fantastic, Sicilian faire. Beautiful linens and fantastic service. The bacon octopus anti pasti was sublime and the monk fish medallions were magnificent. One must have the amazing Sicilian bread and young Olive oil. Highly recommended.

Osteria il Grappolo is a charming restaurant located in a narrow street, which may be a bit challenging to reach and find parking. However, the effort is definitely worth it. The place is clean and well-organized with efficient and responsive service. They offer a variety of dishes including fish from an à la carte menu, all made with excellent and fresh ingredients - nothing frozen. The cuisine is impeccable in terms of cooking techniques and seasonings, resulting in abundant and delicious dishes.
The food was so delicious, I don't have words to describe it. Incredible. Wonderful service and friendly people.

Excellent & homey sicilian food for a truly local journey for your tastebuds. The food was fresh and the pasta was delicious (we had the linguine nero di sepia & paccheri casa rosa - yum!😋). Don’t miss the Degustazione Marinara, which was an seafood antipasti collection - all excellent. The service for lunch was efficient and friendly, but don’t expect a Michelin star treatment or modern and creative twists, this is as homey and delicious as it gets!

One of the best experiences in Sicily, and we had several great meals during our vacation. Typical Sicilian dishes, surprised me, that it is not one of SlowFood restaurants. Try especially the mixed seafood antipasti

Super tasty sauces. Raw pasta. Long wait between dishes. Somewhere around 45 min. Entire lunch experience lasted over 3 hours, and not in a good way. One waitress who runs around alone. Bill at end was handwritten without itemiszation. Koperto, yikes..

Very sweet place with good food, charming service, and all for next to nothing.

For the last days we have been eating very well and still this is probably our best meal during the whole stay in Sicily: literally everything was delicious! No experiments, no modern technics to pimp up your dishes, just traditional Sicilian dishes made with top local ingredients and - I’m sure - lots of love! We got the address in a local ceramics shop and I’m really thankful for it! In case you cannot decide what to order: Linguine al nero di seppia were divine :)

La Trattoria Vecchia Conza is a remarkable Italian restaurant in Sicily, known for its excellent cuisine and generous servings. The owner is always present, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The extensive menu provides ample options to explore different flavors, and the portions are so plentiful that one might struggle to finish them all.
Incredible array of fresh seafood, the best I've ever eaten. Ordered the prix fixe three course tasting menu with a bottle of local wine. This felt like a true spot for locals of Sciacca, not touristy at all.

We had an awesome and delicious dinner! It is very characteristic inside! We enjoyed pasta con le sarde and pasta with shrimp and pistachios! Both were so delicious! I can’t wait to go back! The restaurant owner is very friendly and kind!

Each year I am in Sciacca. I would tell this is my "home restaurant". I am always happy about food and atmosphere...Since COVID many places did changed for bad in Sciacca, many was closed. Very honest and polite owner. And! Prices didn't change there...They are still excellent at combination quality=price Very worse to visit! Just step a little away from very turistis city center
Elaine S — Google review
Unfortunately, very rude service. I was clearly very basic with my Italian language skills and was met with impatience. I was dining with my two young boys and it was obvious we needed a bit of room to manoeuvre the menu. The woman serving was unfriendly, never smiled and was so abrupt it reminded me of Fawlty Towers. At best the food was passable, the sardine pasta with pine nuts and fennel was a basic student offering covered in a thick layer of dust that was meant to be the pine nuts...my kids were unsettled by the woman taking plates whilst we were still eating and we all felt terribly rushed. For a village restaurant the attitude seemed very city, unnecessarily.. Not great value for money and not a great experience I'm afraid

Nestled in the charming area of Sciacca, Trattoria La Buona Forchetta is a delightful find for those seeking authentic Italian cuisine. After a scenic seaside stroll, my wife and I decided to explore this quaint eatery based on its positive reviews. The journey to reach it was an adventure in itself, as we navigated through narrow streets and construction zones. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming.
The pasta was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend it for a wonderful Sicilian atmosphere indoors.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Trattoria La Buona Forchetta! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — truly some of the best we’ve had in Sicily. The service was warm and welcoming, and to top it off, the owner serenaded us with his guitar, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommended!

So disappointed by this place. The photos looked so good but the food was really terrible - we couldn’t eat more than a few mouthfuls each. Three enormous bowls of incredibly overcooked pasta turned up dripping in tasteless sauce. It was 3 piles of mush. They only do one house wine by the glass and it was akin to vinegar, a white wine which was also served very warm. The whole restaurant also smelt of the toilets. Nice chap serving us but food and ambiance truly revolting.

Based on the high number of good reviews I expected a better place. It’s a small restaurant with a tiny ‘garden space’. The menu is simple. The octopus salad was divine, a bit less my swordfish with cherry tomatoes and cumin. I was extremely disappointed with the choice of wine: although the area thrives in wine production, they keep the cheapest and lowest quality wine. They ‘house wine’ is absolutely not recommended. Good thing is that the three boys running the place are quick and pay attention to the clients. Bathrooms were also clean. We paid 120 euro for four people with a bottle of wine and no dessert.

Trattoria Mokarta in Sciacca, Sicily, is a charming family-owned seaside restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. Guests rave about the excellent quality of the food, which includes delightful seafood antipasti and mouthwatering main courses like risotto and swordfish steak. The atmosphere is inviting, especially when dining outdoors with views of fishing boats setting out from the harbor.
Amazing gluten free pasta. I had other allergies and they were swiftly taken into consideration. The food was still incredibly good. We were just passing by, if I lived around I would be here every week (or twice a week). Prices are reasonable and portions are fair.

Had a lovely meal at the Trattoria Mokarta in Sciacca, Sicily. The service was very friendly and helpful, although they speak little English they made very sure we had an enjoyable meal and chose what we liked. Our meal included a sea food antipasti and main courses of risotto and swordfish steak. Very reasonable prices for the meal and wine. Lovely setting we sat outside and enjoyed watching the fishing boats leaving the harbour.

Nice family owned seaside restaurant, good value for money. Food was excellent quality. One antipasto, two mains, a quarter litre of wine and two coffees came to €39, but I had the catch of the day which was a little more expensive, most of the main courses were €9 or €10. Very friendly waiter and chef who came out of the kitchen to chat to us about what fish was good that day.

This is a pretty cheap and simple restaurant, serving good, simple food from the Sicilian tradition. Mostly fish dishes, in basic, home-like preparations. Not a lot of innovation, but sincere food, nice service, and big quantities.

If you're wandering through Sciacca, make sure to stop by Antica Osteria della Vittoria for a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery boasts a cozy interior that accommodates around 20-30 guests, ensuring an intimate dining atmosphere where you can truly savor your meal without the noise of neighboring tables. The friendly staff, led by an engaging owner who is passionate about sharing his knowledge of fresh catches from the day’s haul, adds to the welcoming vibe.
Such a nice place, there is a small terrace and the inside doesnt hold more than 20/30 people but for once you are not eating and sharing conversation with the table next to you. What you read on reviews is true, the staff is super friendly, and the boss lead by example. He will explain to you all about the different fresh fishes, catched on the day! The food is really tasty, for a small bill. Go go go!
Alban R — Google review
Small informal restaurant. We had a pretty good lunch. The fried fish was good (catch of the day). However to us, after three weeks in Italy, it seemed a bit pricey- 25€ (for a modest sized fish). The wait staff seemed focused on selling us the fish. The potatoes as a side were a bit over cooked, but still tasty. We also had their Sicilian Salad. Kind of average. They could find real tasting tomatoes now(late May, as we have been eating them). These were like winter tomatoes. The salad a bit boring, from a taste perspective. The house white wine was good and inexpensive. As mentioned, it was a pretty OK lunch. But, they could up their game a bit. If you read some of the other reviews (especially the Italian ones), this theme appears. They were not super busy. Total bill 50€.

The food was amazing and will be back! I give this restaurant a 6/5 stars for being great in food taste and hospitality. The workers are fast and get the job done! If you find yourself in the charming town of Sciacca, make sure to stop by Ristorante La Baia del Sol for an unforgettable dining experience. This gem is renowned for its incredibly fresh seafood that surpasses many pricier establishments nearby. The sea urchin pasta is a standout dish that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. On a recent visit, I enjoyed delightful lemon mussels and a mouthwatering Tartare di Tonno, all while being warmly welcomed by the hospitable staff.
One of my favorite places in Sciacca. Super fresh fish, service is funny and very helpful and you have lunch with the amazing view of the sea at less than 2m from you. They also have sunbeds, changing rooms, toilets and showers. Parking is a little bit complex but if you plan in advance is doable. Strongly recommended

La Bottega Fusion Cuisine is a newly opened gem located in the Scaicca marina. This former bakery turned restaurant offers imaginative cooking with a focus on local fish and an impressive yet affordable wine selection. While the space is small, it exudes charm and overlooks the sea from its tiny deck. Visitors can expect luxurious food plates at reasonable prices, with fresh ingredients that provide a fine dining experience.
Luxurious food plates with an affordable price! The taste of food was good. The ingredients were new and fresh. I got the feeling like when I had a Michelin star fine dining. I ordered the sparkling wine; it's ok. And my last 2 plates were cold, but still tasty. Even I understood that there're only a waiter and a waitress, I was thinking to give you 4 stars. However, after I had the Bileys (the dessert), I would give you 5! Recommend this restaurant for the dinner!

Food was delicious, service great. The overall portions are not very big, dish appearance looked like in a good restaurant. Dinner for 2 is in range of 50-70 euro. A must visit for sea food lovers, very fresh. Recommend home wine, cheep and tasty.

It's not easy making your way down to the Scaicca marina, but please do and you will find an assortment of restaurants, including this gem. A well-known former bakery, this wonderful restaurant has only been open for a month or two, and is hitting it out of the park! Featuring bountiful local fish, the cute space offers up imaginative cooking with an excellent, well-priced wine list. Only downside, just three tables on the tiny deck that overlooks the sea, and seems they largely go to locals. Highly rated!

Pizzeria Steripinto is located in one of the oldest buildings in Sciacca, showcasing late Gothic Plateresque art. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious pizzas and starters, with the Steripinto pizza being highly recommended. Despite the possibility of a wait without a reservation, the friendly and attentive staff make the experience enjoyable. The menu includes options like mozzarella and pistachio pizza, all at reasonable prices.
Excellent and affordable pizzeria at a nice and vibes location. It’s nothing fancy but price value ratio is incredible. It was also the first pizzeria where they automatically offer you a take home box if they see you probably cannot finish. A small but noteworthy service plus.

So good we went back the next night. Be forewarned the family pizzas are large.
John L — Google review
The person at the reception was not polite to us and other customers. They charge 15% service fees but quality of service is not up to the mark. They forgot to serve coke we ordered when we reminded them it appeared twice in the bill so we had to convince them that the first one though ordered was never served with other drinks. The person transacting the payment was very irritated with us at no fault of ours. He then spoke to his colleagues who were having late dinner to resolve it as he could only speak Italian. It was not a customer friendly experience. There was nothing special about the pizzas served here. The street ambience was quite good.
Himanshu T — Google review
Best pizza in Sciacca. All the locals in town go there.
Frank D — Google review
As with all my reviews, the negatives… first. We walked from our accomodation to find a beautiful Italian pizza. Didn’t think it would feel like I walked into my local takeaway in England to pay for below average pizza. The pizza is not a traditional Italian pizza, it is more of a cheap takeaway pizza. The dough, albeit it may be, doesn’t taste fresh or authentic. It doesn’t feel like anything was made with care or love and simply was just not that great. The cheese was stringy and horrible, not proper fior de latte mozzarella but more of a plastic cheese you’d get in England at a pizza spot. The tomato base didn’t taste of anything and plenty of oregano doesn’t improve your pizza FYI. The Arancina was actually decent. Luke warm which was a shame but to be honest that’s the only reason this spot gets a 2 star. They did seem busy but to pay €7.50 for a bang average pizza when I’m used to paying €6 for ones that blow my mind was extremely disappointing. Sciacca isn’t very touristy for anyone wanting to know so expecting google translate to play a big part if you struggle with Italian like myself. Poor pictures as I only got a video. We would not recommend and would not be back.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and waiters. They have lots of pizza options at a reasonable price and nice cold drinks. My only criticism would be the use of single use plastics as it isn't very environmentally conscious.
James H — Google review
I tried the pizza with mortadella and burrata and drank an aperol spritz. The pizza was excellent, but the drink was like a full glass of ice with 4cents of drink 😅 it was good though. What I totally didn’t get was the apetizers. We got like spanish style croquetas, but it was I think mirelit, deep fried hot dog meat and french fries. At this point I felt like I am not in Sicily. The waiter was nice, the outer tables had a simple but cozy, nice atmosphere. Would return for the pizza.
Nikolett P — Google review
The pizza was not good at all. I would choose another restaurant. The service and the environment were very pleasant. But a lot of people took their pizza away, it's possible that we just made the wrong choice. Even so, I would choose another restaurant next time.

We’ve been to Cantine de Gregorio twice and it has always been an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the wine was great and reasonably priced, the service was impeccable. We visited De Gregorio which was only a few short kilometres away from where we were staying in Sciacca Sicily in June 2023. Our reason was to enjoy a lovely evening meal and we weren’t disappointed. We were given amuse bouche to begin with which gave us a hint of the quality of food to come. I had the roast beef starter followed by the Sea Bass both which were absolutely delicious. For dessert I enjoyed the Cheesecake which was sublime. We of course had the wine from their own winery which is up to a very high standard and amongst the best I have ever tasted. Prices for the food and the wine are very reasonable with total spend coming to €110 for two people including wine. Excellent value for this quality establishment. The restaurant is in a quiet tranquil location and well signposted from the main road.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering around and it was packed - the rest of the city was completely empty that evening (end of October). Carolyn S — Google review
We dined at Le Stranizze on our second night in Sciacca after being recommended the restaurant from our resort butler. The restaurant has a number of outdoor and indoor seats, but we opted for an outdoor table as the weather was nice and we loved seeing all of the activity outside in the heart of Sciacca. We were greeted by the restaurant employees promptly at the time of our reservation who were all warm and nice, and our server came by a few minutes later after we were seated to introduce herself and answered any initial questions we had. The server also gave us an introduction to their restaurant who also has a winery about 15 minutes away from the restaurant (and all wines from their wine list at the restaurant come from their winery). We ordered a bottle of Magaria (22 euros) and the wine was an extremely good quality and we loved it! For a starter, we ordered the Schiaffoni di Gargano (15 euros) and the pasta was also amazing and very fresh, and plenty big for the two of us to share. For entrees, we ordered Beef filet (22 euros) and the Grilled pork pluma (20 euros) and both were also outstanding and we split the dishes so we both could try two different things. For a dessert, we ordered the deconstructed cannoli which I think was around 5 euros and also was very outstanding and unique. All food was out of this world and very memorable. It tasted liked we were dining at a Michelin starred dining establishment! I highly recommend trying the restaurant if you're in the Sciacca area!

Really good dining experience. Staff is is very well trained, food is excellent, specially the octopus which had an amazing texture. Arancione with shrimps was very well balanced and the pistachio sauce was good. The sirloin was on point and the tomatoes were amazingly fresh. Fillet felt like butter, I think I've never had one that soft. Wine selection although short was well selected and is nothing to complain about.
Jorge J — Google review
best atmosphere, the tables are placed in the alley and so you can watch people and the hustle and bustle of the city while dining. the greeting from the kitchen was thoughtful and exquisite. for our starter we chose caponata. the tasteful play with chocolate, vegetables, cheese and sauce was heavenly. probably the best preparation of this famous starter of our entire sicilian trip. the pasta dishes that followed were no less impressive. as i had to drive for another 2 hours after dinner, i was unfortunately unable to taste any wine. a must here. the service, on the other hand, was a little frosty. anyway, we would definitely go again.

Excellent restaurant and recommendation! This restaurant near the Duomo has a fantastic ambiance and great food. We had two pizzas, the seabass and the pasta vongole. As suggested by our knowledgeable waiter, we switched from vongole to a different kind of mussels, which had just come in from the Porto. A very good recommendation! We’re used to try random restaurants and we were never deceived by food in Sicily but this time it was less than average. Their pizza is so chewy their dough is a fail. We also ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and fish both were not good at all. Even the lime served with the fish was too hard that even my husband found it hard to squeeze. Also their staff is not friendly they don’t smile back 👀 except a very young man who was friendly (I didn’t take photos for the other dishes)

I stumbled upon Ristorante Trattoria La Matrice on a whim and it turned out to be one of my favorite meals in Sicily. The pasta dishes, which were gluten-free, were absolutely amazing. The restaurant also served incredibly fresh fish and had a great selection of delicious wines.

We had a delicious meal at La Matrice. We had red mullet pasta, sea bass, tuna and salads. The food was very tasty - fresh fish and vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection. We were seated in the square opposite the Basilica, which made for a very pleasant and calm (but also quite vibrant) atmosphere. The main attraction, however, was the attentive and friendly service. In particular, they responded quickly and exceptionally kindly when we knocked over a wine glass. Highly recommend!!

On a little square by the basilica, busy on a Friday night but the staff were super efficient at getting you seated and served. The menu was as expected, skewed towards seafood but the pasta in particular was very good. It’s not trying to be fine dining, just a good trattoria where they do the staples well. Bravo.

I had a very disappointing experience at La Matrice in Sciacca. The food was average and overpriced, but what really ruined the evening was the service. When I asked for gluten-free pasta (which is advertised on Triparvisor), the staff flatly refused to cook it for me, giving me three different excuses (and I am sure they will provide another new reason, once they read this post)Their attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. No apology was offered for the way I was treated. Overall, a very unpleasant dining experience – I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Super friendly staff (Ignacio) and delicious food. We shared the taste of Sicily and had the mixed grilled fish. And grandmothers cake as a desert. Everything was fresh and yummie! Don’t let the blinded windows scare you away; it is really worth visiting!

Wonderful evening with fabulously fresh and wonderfully prepared dishes. The Chef’s choice appetizer could be shared but I’m happy it wasn’t! Swordfish was thin sliced but with what I had already consumed it was a good portion. Our waiter was perfectly attentive and charming! Good value. If you ever are lucky enough to find yourself in Sciacca, make a reservation!

Unpresupposing fish restaurant near the fish docks in Sciacca, Sicily. Happy attentive, chatty staff. Their suggestions were perfect. Freshly caught baked John Dory (Saint Peter’s fish in Italy) with tomatoes and bread washed down with cold delicious Grillo white wine ( cheapest on the menu but recommended by Ignazzio). Thoroughly recommend the restaurant.

Saw Monica's review and the hilarious response and had to try this place out. I absolutely loved the food, and the service from Giuseppe was outstanding. It was quiet, but it's still out of season, but that didn't affect the quality and freshness of the food. Would highly recommend.

Ristorante Pizzeria Gourmet Lo Scoglio di Santa Lucia is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of Sicilian cuisine. Nestled in an unassuming location, this bustling eatery is a favorite among locals, offering an array of delicious pizzas at reasonable prices—around 9 euros for a pizza and just 5 euros for an Aperol spritz! The atmosphere is lively, making it perfect for both casual dining and larger gatherings.
I had a better spicy "Turca" pizza in Sciacca but the 5 stars are rewarding the wonderfull pizza dolce : a unique cacao based with Nutella and pistachio cream ! A must to enjoy ✨️

Large place, but with some atmosphere. Swift, friendly service. The most part of our party ordered pizza, which looked very good. I ordered tuna. It was a nice portion, but maybe a bit over-cooked? Still tasty, though. Nice bottle of Planeta Etna Bianco with that. Place is good for large events.

The location is a bit peculiar and not somewhere you would necessarily be drawn to as a tourist but the food was amazing and the place is filled with locals. The prices are reasonable with pizzas around €9 and an aperol spritz going for €5!!! Wait time was a bit long but worth it. Thank you !!

It was really great pizza. We tried both take away and eat in :). Both time the place was very busy so the food was a bit delayed. However service was nice. We did try the nutella-pizza. Really a treat. Extremely good. Pizza from here is VERY recommendable. Amongst the best pizza’s we’ve had in Sicily.

The seafood restaurant Risto - Pub Venti Nodi offers delightful dishes, excellent service, and convenient parking. Even without a reservation, they managed to accommodate two people with a table overlooking the sea on a pleasant evening. They opted for mussels accompanied by a delicious bottle of wine and generously indulged in a plate of chips that complemented the dish perfectly. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the wine was superb without being overly expensive.
Lovely food great service easy parking adjacent to the restaurant. We hadn’t booked but the were able to find us a table for two looking out over the sea. It was a warm evening and the cool breeze was very welcome. We chose the muscles and had a lovely bottle of wine to accompany the food. We also had a generous plate of chips because we think they go very well with muscles. The prices were very reasonable and the wine excellent but not expensive. Service was polite, professional and prompt. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon Ristorante OTTO and was extremely pleased with my experience. I returned a second time and was even more impressed by the owners' attention to detail. The restaurant offers great seasonal food, brilliantly chosen wine options, and a small menu executed with expertise. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fish and local desserts. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely revisit this restaurant. It was one of the best dinners I've had in Sciacca.
What a great place! We have eaten in several restaurants in Sciacca and this is by far the best. Everything from the wine glasses to the dessert is first class. Service couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. A delight. And every bite is scrumptious. I wish we were staying another day so we could go back again.

Seriously this was one of the best restaurant experiences we ever had. Food was amazing, waitress was sweet and very professional, the cherry on top were designed dishes, each meal and drink came with different unique dish. 100% recommended
Veronika F — Google review
It would be easy to miss Ristorante OTTO as the signs for it are quite discreet. This would be a shame since it's a real find. We stopped in Sciacca to break our trip to our next destination. We arrived mid-afternoon and pretty much everywhere was shut except for a panini place. We stumbled across OTTO by chance and had a really good meal. It's chic, elegant and the food is great. We were the only other customers in there apart from a small group celebrating someone's birthday. The staff was attentive, spoke good English and we left happy and satisfied. Thank you.

Nice place. Some of the food was wonderful (zucchini 'cannolo' filled with ricotta) but my seared tuna was far overcooked, although the taste of the fish was great. Very good service.

We had an incredible evening here. The food was almost too good to put into words, it was phenomenal and definitely our favourite meal of our whole holiday. On top of that, the service was exceptional. Nothing was too much to ask, we felt SO welcomed and genuinely cared for. I would recommend this restaurant over & over - it’s a must visit & we cannot wait to hopefully return one day.

During my summer getaway in Sciacca, I stumbled upon Antica Focacceria Ingrao, and it turned out to be a culinary highlight of my trip! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. I couldn't resist trying their panelle, which was bursting with flavor and elevated by a squeeze of lemon juice.
I had such a great experience here! The food was incredibly tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The panelle is definitely worth trying, it’s so flavorful, and the touch of lemon juice takes it to the next level. Highly recommend this place!

This place is something else. Been there on one of those beautiful May late afternoons with my dear friend. Place was full of life, locals coming and going, chatting with each other. We immediately felt comfortable. The owner took his time to come outside and talk to us. Got free goodies complimentary to our arancine. Food is brilliant there. Could not recommend enough. One of those authentic places, so hard to see these days.
Ola G — Google review
What a delightful place!! We’ve been traveling around Sicily for a week and this was the place where we were best received, with care, attention, and dedication! We tried the Potato Croquette, it was crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside… flavorful… spectacular… I could eat thousands… and the best part… freshly fried in clean, clear oil… just perfect. Then we tried the Porchetta sandwich, succulent roasted pork with warm, crispy bread, tasty, surprisingly well-seasoned! To finish, we ordered two Arancini and that was the real show… they were breaded and fried to order, and I noticed that after frying they waited a few minutes before serving them to us, so when they arrived they were hot but gentle enough for a bite, with melted cheese and full of flavor. We haven’t experienced this kind of care anywhere else in Sicily, only here! Not less important, we also tried the Panelle offered as a courtesy of the house… delicious and full of flavor. If you want to experience Sicily, visit this place and enjoy its wonderful food and service!!!
Ligia M — Google review
While staying in Sciacca for our summer holiday, we found Antica Focacceria Ingrao on Google Reviews and decided to try it – and it was such a great choice. The arancini are incredible: we tried the bolognese, ham & mozzarella, and pistachio. The ham & mozzarella and the bolognese were our favourites, but honestly all of them were delicious. They’re freshly made and fried right in front of you, which makes them extra special. We were even given some panelle to taste while waiting, which was a lovely touch. The first time we took the arancini away to the beach and ate them an hour later – still amazing – and the second time we had them fresh on the spot, which was even better. Service was very friendly and helpful, and although their English wasn’t perfect, communication was no problem. Prices were excellent too – really great value. 10/10, highly recommend!

My partner and I visited this place for lunch a couple of days ago and it has been by far our best food experience in Sicily so far! When we arrived it was busy and the atmosphere great, we met the owners who we asked to give us whatever was recommended and every single thing Miguel brought out to us was delicious!! The Arancini is the best we’ve ever had and both the anchovy & porchetta sandwiches were out of this world. The panelle were also incredible!! The hospitality was so wonderful and before we left we were treated to their Cassatelle Siciliane (a traditional dessert made with ricotta) and of course espresso! Thank you so much, we’ll never forget our little lunch stop at Antica Focacceria 🩷

The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sicily ever. Simple, insanely good quality ingredients, perfect cooking. We had bruschetta for appetizer - generous, avocado and pork roast, delicious, the ricotta, asparagus ravioli (perfectly cooked, fresh pasta with wonderful texture), the mushroom, lard and pumpkin gnocchi (they were like eating small clouds!!!). Then we had pork Bombette, very juicy, tasty meat. And finally the amazing lamb ribs - simply the best lamb we’ve had in years. Perfectly seasoned with coarse salt and old fashioned mustard, absolutely divine. We had to finish them directly on the bones. Last but not least a traditional cannoli to die for. The waiters were so lovely and kind as well, they really made the meal so much more enjoyable.

On our first evening in Sciacca, we discovered the charming Osteria Il Commensale, nestled in a quaint alley with a delightful terrace. The moment we settled in, the enticing aroma of truffle wafted through the air. My husband, typically not a fan of truffles, was tempted to try the carbonara topped with this luxurious ingredient while I opted for pasta alla Norma—a true Sicilian classic.
This place was great. The meat was cooked to perfection—medium rare, full of flavor, and not dry at all. The salt on top was a bit too coarse to bite through, but after scraping off the thick salt, the meat was nice and tender. One of the most things i liked was the ordering menu which can be accessed from a phone and before ordering the client could see the food details with pictures and cost with very nice responsive UX and UI.

Overall a very nice experience, very good food, the Waiters were very nice, but somehow a little unorganized, the Wine Glasses were not clean. But from service and price point it's really the only thing that I would criticize. The restaurant is hidden in a passage and very "local". We had lasagna and pistachio pasta, those were godsent!

On our first evening in Sciacca, after driving from Palermo, we stumbled upon Osteria Il Commensale with its lovely terrace tucked away in an alley – and we’re so glad we stopped. As soon as we sat down, the scent of truffle filled the air, and even though my husband isn’t usually a truffle fan, he ordered the carbonara with truffle. I chose the pasta alla Norma, a classic Sicilian dish. Both were superb: generous portions, rich flavours, and absolutely delicious. We finished with a traditional cassata siciliana (the beautiful green marzipan cake), which was the perfect sweet ending. Service was friendly and helpful, and the bill for two – including everything – came in under €50, which felt like excellent value. A really positive experience – great food, warm service, and a charming setting. Highly recommended if you’re in Sciacca.

ColaPesce Ristorante Sciacca is a delightful dining spot for those looking to savor an array of seafood-inspired dishes. Guests have raved about the gnocchi with clams, anchovy appetizer, and perfectly al dente Risotto with squire and basil sauce.
The entire dining experience was amazing, the best meal of our trip! The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were warm and welcoming. We started with a delightful welcome dish that immediately raised our expectations for the rest of the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna tartare with kiwi which added a refreshing twist and enhanced the flavor beautifully. Our first courses featured pasta with red shrimp. Both dishes were creamy, rich and absolutely delicious. The second course was a platter of fried seafood. The ingredients were fresh, and unlike many places where fried seafood ends up too dry. The chef cooked everything to perfection, crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. Desserts were incredible. The presentation was pretty too. I truly appreciate the chef’s creativity and willingness to take risks to make each dish unique and surprising. Highly recommended!

Great experience, beautiful terrace and amazing food. Unfortunely I have to give one less star because it’s embarrassing to make you pay mandatory a 10% service over the final price. It’s not USA here, you don’t force your clients to tip. I would have done it myself anyway, it’s just not classy like this and I don’t want Italy to become like USA

We had two antipasti - the polpo all’Orientale and another hors-d’oeuvre with very thinly sliced octopus and pistachios. Then we enjoyed the linguine with shrimp and the seared tuna. Everything was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the owner was exceptionally hospitable, even treating us to his homemade limoncello. It was the perfect way to end an evening in Sciacca.✨

Great find for a wide variety of seafood influenced dishes. The gnocchi with clams was amazing - soft and pillowy and a nice amount of clams. The anchovy appetizer was a good-sized plate of anchovies with dots of sauces made from onion and arugula. And the Risotto with squire and basil sauce was done perfectly al dente. The service was great too and our waitress helped select a local wine that paired well with our selections.

Our 1st meal in Siacca. We gave it 5 stars. They gave us a complimentary appetizer, black ink squid with crème on top. Diced squid in the black ink. Warm in a beautiful round dish. I loved the sardine appetizer and my husband loved his octopus BBQ. I had the sea urchin pasta which was so rich and delicious. My husband had the grilled whole fish: juicy fish and crispy scales. Dessert was awesome! If we didn’t order the whole fish, our meat would’ve been $70. Fish was $65 which we willing want to try. Otherwise, it would’ve been the least amount we ever spend on dinner anywhere with food that is so delicious

Ristorante La Cambusa is a true gem for seafood lovers, offering an unforgettable dining experience right by the harbor. The catch of the day shines in every dish, especially their risotto con frutti di mare, which is simply magical and a must-try! The staff are incredibly friendly and patient, making you feel right at home as you savor each bite. With free parking available nearby, it’s easy to visit this delightful spot.
Superior fresh fish ( catch of the day) ! Risotto con frutti di mare - magic and so delicious! Must order this- really!!! The staff ( women) were sooo nice and patient with us!!! High porto (3,50€) maybe cause we were tourists.. but it was worth it. free parking in front of the restaurante

Fish was okay but overpriced for what you get, one grilled squid was 11 euros. No sides …. What waitress felt annoyed with us because we couldn’t speak Italian. Got recommended but won’t recommend.

It's a beach bar, so don't expect luxury. But, cocktails are good and not watered down, good beer on tap. I never have eaten there, but they offer a variety of food. You can hire sunbeds and sit right next to the sea. Bliss!

Best food we had in this area, really nice people and beautiful beach❤️❤️❤️

Great beach bar - one of the few in the area open in October. We went there on a beautiful sunny Saturday - hired loungers and had lunch in the bar. Best bread and olive oil we have had on this trip to Sicily, we had seconds! Had a fish platter each, with octopus, prawns and calamari. Very nice indeed - the octopus and calamari could have been served hotter though (deducted a star for that - I like my food good and hot) the prawns were fine. Good value for money. The staff don’t speak English here, but then we don’t speak Italian! But we got by thanks to google and a lot of laughter, especially when we got the wrong food at first - we thought we had ordered the wrong dish! But fortunately it was claimed by a lovely lady and her mum who realised what was happening. Language difficulties are no one’s fault and laughter is better than frustration! We had a great day here- this is a beautiful beach and we stayed until sunset.

Bar in a lovely position, right on to beach. Very friendly staff & nicely furnished for a beach bar. Great place for a sundowner.

The guy that collects the money for the parking lot obviously gets paid to tell and accompany people downstairs to the restaurant. After telling him a few times „no“ he still proceeded to be very pushy and insisted he would go with us. So he did and touched us on our shoulders we felt very uncomfortable. After that we were obviously not in a good mood and not saying „thank you“ like he maybe wanted which led to him complaining about us to a guy working at the restaurant. He talked about us right in front of us and pointed at us which made us feel even worse. The atmosphere was very loud because there was a dj (even tho it was afternoon) with really bad music. The blonde waitress was the opposite of the whole place and was very calm and kind which was nice. Food experience was pretty good, I had Pasta with pistachio and gamabretti👍👍 I just feel like it was a bit pricey (i think 20€) as I paid 10 for the same meal somewhere else.

(Translated by Google) The most beautiful dinner of my life, simple and welcoming place, fireplace lit and very fresh fish. 7 stars to the owner who with kindness and unique ways of doing things... made us feel at home. The appetizers chosen by the head nurse were excellent, for the first I recommend shrimp and pistachio pasta with a second course of swordfish. The dishes were served properly because even the eye wants its part... with a great chef's decoration of balsamic vinegar. The tables on the first floor overlook the beautiful port of Sciacca.. I recommend both in summer and winter (thanks to the fireplace which gives a touch of harmony) (Original) La cena più bella della mia vita, locale semplice e accogliente, camino acceso e pesce freschissimo.

(Translated by Google) Five stars for the fish couscous, really difficult to find like this (due to the flavor and consistency of the grains, a true Tunisian couscous in short); a few stars less for the quantities, which were rather small, so much so that I was left hungry even though we had been told that the portions were generous. The same for the fried paranza. The waiter is very helpful and attentive and the restaurant itself is very nice, with the internal part well-kept and full of greenery. The prices are average, although just a little above what I expected compared to what I ate... The choice to charge three euros for a cover charge without even serving a slice of bread and with paper napkins is also not acceptable.

Pizzeria Meraviglia is a delightful spot that comes highly recommended by locals, and it's easy to see why! The staff are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Even if you're not typically a pizza lover, you might find yourself enjoying their offerings. While the pizzas are delicious, they may not quite match the iconic flavors of Naples. (Translated by Google) Ordering two takeout pizzas on a Saturday evening in the center of Sciacca meant I'd have to wait a long time outside the pizzeria, and I was prepared for it. Despite the long waiting list, the very kind lady at the counter and the pizza chef worked wonders, and after a quarter of an hour I was happily rushing home, accompanied by the aroma wafting from the boxes. The pizzas were truly delicious, well-cooked, with a soft and flavorful crust, rich in tomato and mozzarella. I hope to repeat the experience before the end of this Sicilian vacation, so I can cherish the memory of an excellent pizza until the next time. Le pizze erano veramente buone, ben cotte, con una pasta morbida e saporita oltre che ricca di pomodoro e mozzarella. Papale Beach is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience for anyone visiting Sicily. This charming beach bar boasts stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a drink or two. Guests rave about the delicious food and friendly staff, who go above and beyond to ensure your visit is enjoyable. Whether you're sipping on refreshing mojitos or indulging in an Aperol spritz while watching the sunset, Papale Beach creates a magical ambiance reminiscent of paradise.
Stopped in the evening for a couple drinks. Had a Jameson, Hugo and Aperol spritz. 6 euros each. The comments about the ice being too much don’t make sense, the cubes are big and don’t prevent them from pouring a good strong adult beverage. We didn’t eat but the locals who did clearly enjoyed it. Stop and have a drink. Amazing view. Felt like Chuck Nolan in Cast away if he had a beachside bar!

On paper, it was a nice restaurant by the sea with a beautiful view, and the pasta was very good. But a man in a wheelchair, who seemed to know the waitress, literally ruined our evening. He wasn't talking, he was SHOUTING in the restaurant. At times he would bang on the table and yell. If the waitress didn't answer him, he would shout her name until she did. We exchanged long glances with the other tables, stunned by such a lack of manners. It's a shame, because the food was very good. But I left with a migraine. So I don't recommend it.

Some of the food was amazing; some not good at all. It was very expensive for the full tasting menu, so we went a la carte, but we got exactly the same size dishes as on the tasting menu. So we paid a lot for not very much The atmosphere was dominated by small children running wild, ignored by their parents. Not the restaurant's fault, but they didn't need to sit us right next to them!
Christopher N — Google review
Cannot recommend this restaurant. Dishes seem nicely prepared but taste-wise, everything from snack to secondi was incredibly disappointing considering the appearance and prices, so much so that (very unlike us) we didn’t finish any dish in fact. Service was very cold and rather unhelpful; for example, we were promised the sommelier who - after three requests - never came (does this person even exist?), and we ended up ordering a random bottle to have something to drink. No one ever apologised. Sad. Unfortunately, the nice sea view didn’t make up for everything. You’re probably better off sticking with the warm and delicious (and unpretentious) local family-run restaurants in the city.
Pierpaolo P — Google review
Amazing! The food, the staff, the location. Looking over the panorama square of Sciacca with a view on the harbour, cozy both outside, on the covered glassed-in terrace or inside. Based on 3 intelligent menus (one of which VEGETARIAN, hurray), this young and creative team, 6 months into their job, blows the guest away. Fine use of local products, but with great variations on the local fare - this is where to go when you’ve had enough pasta allo scoglio o a la Norma. Don’t expect big dishes, don’t expect heavy use of spice. This is more about texture, the original tastes of vegetables, fine use of raw scallops on a cauliflower risotto or raw pulpo tagliatelle with fresh green pees. They have a great road ahead of them - join them while it’s at its best.

Located in a charming neighborhood near San Marcos beach, Trattoria La Corallina is a hidden gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant has garnered praise for its outstanding service, inviting atmosphere, and delectable cuisine. With an interesting menu featuring well-prepared dishes, guests can enjoy attentive and friendly service whether dining indoors or on the lovely back patio.
This restaurant does not disappoint, in fact, I think it exceeds the Google reviews which I read before coming. The ambience, service, and food are all fabulous. The owner graced us with olive oil which was freshly made, and it quite possibly was THE best olive oil that I have ever had, I would recommend making a reservation. We were lucky to get a table on the beautiful patio, because we showed up a couple minutes after they opened, so were very fortunate to get a table without a reservation. It was full moments after we arrived. Our first course was amazing, codfish balls, perfectly cooked… Crispy on the outside and deliciously fresh cod on the inside. We had the special of the day, a shrimp pasta, and the linguine à la Vongoli. All of the food was simply amazing.
Carolyn C — Google review
disappointed We decided to visit Trattoria La Corallina after seeing the many excellent reviews, but our experience was unfortunately not what we expected. The fish was fine but rather ordinary, and the pasta with shrimp was far too salty, which made it difficult to enjoy. The local wine we tried also felt too heavy for a hot summer evening — we were hoping for something lighter and more refreshing. While we can see why some guests may appreciate the place, for us the food and wine did not live up to the high ratings. Another detail that surprised us was the fixed €3 fee per person added to the bill. It felt a bit like tips included, which is not so common in many parts of Europe. It would be helpful if this was communicated more clearly in advance.
Dzmitry C — Google review
A cute spot and worth a visit, I’d stick to dishes on the main menu than the specials as they seem to be more balanced. Again a harbour spot and worth the visit - based on an old Siciliano harbour home.

Ok, so, spent an awesome day with the Mrs at San Marco’s beach. We headed back to our hotel and thought of getting lost a bit and exploring the neighborhood. We found this hidden gem! This place deserves a Michelin Stars. Hands down Michelin Stars. From the food, the atmosphere the AMAAAAAAAZING service and the clean amenities, it’s just out of this world! Made my decision so easy to retire and live in Sicily simply for having outstanding amazing experiences on daily basis. Seems it’s run by a nice family, very clean, neat and full of love. Support local businesses that take pride in what they do for the love of their heritage and community.

As tourists, we arrived at Osteria Porta Palermo in Sciacca a bit early for dinner but were warmly welcomed by the restaurant staff. They seated us at a wonderful table by the window, providing a beautiful view of the valley and the town. The service was exceptional and the food exceeded our expectations. We indulged in an array of delicious dishes such as pasta, meats, fish, and desserts. The friendly waiter recommended their house red wine which we found to be superb.
If you looking for authentic italian family cuisine, this is Perfect place. Hiden from tourist, lot of space, great owner, he was aware for what you need. Fresh frutti di mare, bread, Oil, balsamico, salt and pepper, owner still watching if you need something. BEST place to eat authentic, where you are not a client but guest of family. Totally recommend as a fan of italian cuisine.

The place is an authentic family run restaurants with fresh ingredients , homemade stylish dishes and very reasonable places if you consider that you can easily be ripped off in Sicily when you are a non Italian speaking tourist . The fresh tuna was the best I had in my life, the grilled fish was a mix of swordfish , huge gamba and another catch of the day ; the homemade deserts are also awesome and I am not an easy person to please ; I totally recommend this place and will go back before I leave Sicily

We had a wonderful meal of fresh local ingredients prepared in traditional Sicilian way. The host and staff were very helpful regardless of our language barrier. We ended the evening being entertained by their wonderfully lively 7 year old daughter as we sipped our digestive. Felt we were having a very local experience. Very reasonable prices in the Center of Old Town. Highly recommend making this part of your Sciacca experience.

I'm not fussy at all, but didn't enjoy my meal. The food is also over priced. Ps: I didn't say that the meal was tasteless but not so good too.! The reason our plates were empty that's because of your small portions . I said I didn't enjoy it , that was because of the way you treated us wasn't enjoyable. By the way your restaurant was recommended by a friend if I'd checked your replys to other reviews I'd never waste my time and money .

Of course, as tourists, we at 7 pm were too early for dinner...nevertheless, the restaurant staff welcomed my family to the restaurant and gave us the best table, right at the window overlooking the valley below and the other side of town. Service was excellent, the food was fantastic. We had pasta, meats, fish and desserts, we loved it. Also, the house red wine is a full recommendation. The desserts were recommended by our friendly waiter, and the panna cotta was extremely good! This is a full recommendation and a very nice and firednly restaurant in Sciacca, right at the Porta Palermo square. We had kind of cold weather, but it looks, as if the outside seating on the square, also is very nice! Thank you!

Trattoria Pizzeria In Pausa, a charming restaurant located in Lille and en route to Agrigento from Trapani, offers generous portions of delectable food. The amiable staff creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite some minor language slip-ups during our visit, it did not detract from the overall experience. This restaurant was recommended by a local, and if you want to travel back to 1980s Italy via the decor and service, this is the place for you. There was no menu in any other language than Italian, and no one spoke a word of English. While the portions might be bigger than what you'd find in a traditional Italian restaurant, the food was completely bland. Our slightly rotten rucola with the cabbage leaf arrived also from last decade and the beef was heavy overcooked and not spiced at all, the sword fish had a strange smell . Perhaps this is considered "cheap and cheerful" by locals, but for us, it was neither. I know this place is very popular with big Italian families, but for us, it was one of the worst dining experiences we had during our two weeks in Sicily. I highly do not recommend it. You're better off grabbing a slice of pizza or an arancini from a nearby shop.

The Food was tasty, the service was excellent but the Bill was not transparent. We had to pay 15% more for the service that was not reported anywhere. I have been traveling in all Italy but I never saw something similar, usually there is the so call "coperto" 1-2€ but never a percentage.

Good value restaurant with lots of choices. The location is big and comfortable with parking included. The internal walls are decorated with Buenos Aires art. The previous owners were Italo-Argentinean and they used to serve mainly meat dishes. Nowadays the food is Italian style with no Argentinean dishes served. The best thing about this place is that you can eat pizza, meat or fish dishes, all at very good prices. The pizzas are excellent and come in three different sizes, the small one is already quite enough if you eat some antipasti before. The pasta dishes are very big, but not as good as the pizza. Meat and fish dishes are also big and not expensive at all. All in all, this is a place to come back several times as offers quite a good value and many choices for eating.

(Translated by Google) The pizzas are small (indistinguishable from mini pizzas, and both are actually swimming in their own dish), tasteless and lack any toppings (it looked more like a loaf than a four-flavor pizza), burnt, and the service leaves much to be desired, with two young women having to take care of everything (orders, takeout, cash register, tables, etc.), resulting in inevitable delays. It's a shame to give bad reviews, but it's not worth it. Last year, the pizzas were significantly better, both in size and toppings, and cooked to perfection. What an incredible little sandwich shop right in the heart of Sciacca! Anyone will love this classic walk-up shop, but it especially caters to the needs of the gluten intolerant. My wife and I had panelle and eggplant sandwiches with a side of fries for just 11 euros! Just a few of the many things I love about this place: * walk-up service * opens early in case you want a light dinner and don’t want to wait for restaurants to open at 7-7:30 PM * delicious! * affordable * fast (food is ready in minutes so don’t be put off if there is a line - it will go quick and is worth the wait) * anything on the menu can be served gluten free * panelle is a must for visitors to Sicily, and this is some of the best I’ve had * I don’t know if this was on purpose or not, but it has a real New York City vibe (and yes, I’m from NY). There’s even a small shelf alongside the shop in case you want to stand and eat it there Not to be missed!

Sun sushi is a delightful eatery that offers an array of delectable dishes. The menu consists of an assortment of fresh and flavorsome options, with a particular highlight being the chef's skill in creating bite-sized sushi pieces. This allows patrons to relish a diverse range of culinary delights. Additionally, upon settling the bill, customers are treated to the customary fortune cookie. Sun sushi provides excellent value for money as it offers an all-you-can-eat experience at reasonable prices.

First of all, the rice is so hard that they hold it too tight when they shape the rice for sushi. And the fish is over-aged, which causes tuna and other fish to go bad and have a bad smell and bad texture. This restaurant also has the worst service. They lose order tickets and no food comes out. and they are rude I feel so sad that all Japanese restaurants in Italy are taken over by Chinese people. If I had met this restaurant in Korea, I would have punched the chef in the cheek. This restaurant is like ketchup pasta, pineapple pizza, espresso with ice and water to me.
