Nestled on a picturesque hill near Alcamo, Quattrocieli offers an unforgettable winery experience that combines stunning views of mountains and vineyards with exceptional hospitality. Guests are treated to informative tours led by the knowledgeable owner, who shares insights into the intricate wine-making process. Visitors can even sample wines directly from the barrel at various fermentation stages, making for a truly immersive experience. The tastings are complemented by delicious Sicilian cuisine, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
Lovely family business. Just outside Alcamo. It is a cozy and relaxing secluded place away from the intense city life. Perfect for those who prefer a more personal experience. The only challenge was: The only way to get there is by taxi or personal vehicle. It is also possible to reach by foot but only by walking on the side of the road and takes about 1 hour from the city center. Many thanks to Valentina for the wonderful wine tasting experience. Explained the process of how different wine is made in excellent English accompanied by great wine and complimentary snacks! Overall - a perfect day's trip with a souvenir to remind of this place.
Tomas Ž — Google review
I have been on dozens and dozens of wine tours over the years, but this is right at the top of them. Wonderful talk from the winemaker with lots of interesting things like comparing the tasting notes to bottles of the actual aromas of the things on the notes and videos of the various parts of the operation showing him at work. The appetizers with the tasting were outstanding! Nice wines at good prices and a great experience with the winemaker.
Brian B — Google review
It’s a really cozy place to do a wine tasting. You have a nice view to the Vineyards. The owner is very polite and explains a lot to the vines and the environment, if you like. We’d definitely come back.
Hanna E — Google review
We booked the picnic experience online and it did not disappoint. Giuseppe was a brilliant and knowledgeable host who told us the history of the vineyard and each wine. The wine was delicious and we really appreciated being shown the different fragrances that make up the wines. The food was 10/10, everything was tasty and was one of the best meals we’ve had here. Grazie Mille! Highly recommend.
Dan M — Google review
Beautiful place, friendly local winery with good wine, good food and wonderful views. The owner is very nice and accommodating!
Roslyn M — Google review
Wonderful wine tasting with an excellent, knowledgeable wine maker who took such care to share his wines with us. The food was incredible too, and bottling wine to take away was the icing on the cake.
Bethany A — Google review
Fantastic experience! Winery is located not far from Alcamo on the hill with beautiful view of the mountain and vineyards. Modern, clean winery with delicious wine and wonderful hosts! Very informative tour from the owner that shows all the processes of wine making and you can try wines straight from the barrel during different stages of fermentation. In the end we bottled our own bottles of wine with personalised sticker. The best Sicilian food we had in 2 weeks!
Ruslana N — Google review
It was cute and worth the money. I would recommend them doing it in the actual vineyard or walking guest through the process instead of showing it on a video. The snacks were so good that they brought out I kind of wish they would bring it in waves through the tasting instead of everything at the end. Would also love some character there I know it’s a family business maybe some old photos around the place or anything. Over all good

A wonderful experience. Very passionate about explaining the production process and the taste of the olive oil is great. It is unfortunate that we could not bring more home. Definitely worth the visit and taste wonderful olive oils.
Jeroen — Google review
This place is a must visit, if you love olive oil. If you want to have a true local experience and taste fresh and tasty olive oil you have to visit this place. This is not a classic fancy overpriced olive oil tasting like many others in the region, but an immersion in a traditional small company and olive oil production. Tony and his colleagues are very friendly people which care a lot about the guests and the company they work for. Great choice of high quality olive oil.
Janko S — Google review
We went there for the tour of the factory (which is a bit less than 15 euros/person) and we loved the experience. We were shown around the garden where many fruits like almonds, pomegranate, and broccoli grow. Some of the fruits such as grapes are wild and we were allowed to taste them straight from the plant. We had a small degustation of the fresh oil and we tried some of the other products the sell there like jams, pestos, pasta sauces etc. Overall a really great experience and if you’re wondering how an olive oil factory works, it’s a great place to learn.

Amazing experience. We went there because we were looking for good organic sicilian olive oil. We found much more. We were shown around and the whole production process was explained. We learned so much and got the chance to taste their excellent product. You can see and taste that they have alot of passion for their product.

We went there spontaneously and got an introduction over the whole production process even though they are in the middle of the olive harvest and very busy. They are very friendly and have great olive oil! I can highly recommend them!

I can definitely recommend this place. The owners are really sweet, showed us around and explained everything, which was very interesting, and we were able to try a few things. We ended up buying a 3l-canister and a bottle which we had to fit into our suitcase somehow, which luckily worked. And the oil is amazing! Next time we'll take two suitcases so we can buy some more! Hopefully Spina in Munich will be willing to work with you guys.

The website says it opens at 9am on Sunday. It’s wrong, opens at 10am. We are from USA. We speak a small amount of Italian. Our guide is a retired doctor who spoke decent English. We would recommend this site. It’s so cheap to see. We bought a 10 pass ticket in Alcamo for 18e. No extra charge for the guide. The road is aweful to get there. But to see something built around 1093, it’s so amazing.

The remains of this castle can be seen when you drive from Castellamare del Golfo to Palermo and back. The ruins of the castle are highlighted during the nighttime and it makes it even more visible from the road. Not sure if this place worth visiting unless you are a big fun of exploring ruins, because you'll have to plan your trip in advance - the castle is located very close to the motorway, but there's no side road near leading directly.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review, not because of the castle itself, which looks beautiful from afar, is clearly visible from the highway, and has certainly undergone some restoration work, but because of the difficulty in getting there. On Sunday, May 28th, we tried to reach it without success... The SP132 road, coming from Partinico, was extremely bumpy, with numerous piles of abandoned garbage everywhere; we reached the dirt country road with great difficulty. The view from here was beautiful, but once we parked the car about 500 meters from the castle, we were unlucky enough to encounter sheep (we imagine it was during the 6-7 PM time slot, perhaps for milking?!), whose fence located in front of the castle let out a group of Maremma sheep and chased us quite aggressively. Luckily, we managed to catch up with the car not far away. Domenica 28 maggio abbiamo provato a raggiungerlo senza riuscirci...

As is known, it has been partly restored and, on some days of the year, it can also be visited inside. We decided to take a look at it from the outside... the road to reach the castle is in good condition, the final part is dirt so we parked a few hundred meters away and took a walk. The view of the castle from outside is pleasant as is the panorama of the surroundings. I hope to be able to visit the interior in the future.

We've already seen some changes over time, and if it's fully restored, it will become a fantastic attraction. We tried to reach it three times, using the two nearby roads, but the road is really bad, and if it rains, it's very dangerous. So at one point, we parked the car and continued on foot for a kilometer. When we arrived, we saw that the castle is surrounded by fences to prevent entry while it's under renovation. Therefore, you can't visit the interior. We'll be eagerly awaiting its completion.

The spirit of the various associations supporting its restoration and pushing for a more appropriate use is admirable. Its location and history are fascinating. Visited during the Vie dei Tesori (Treasure Routes); at other times of the year, contact the association that manages it.

The Church of Jesus of the Jesuit Fathers is a stunning architectural gem located on the beach, boasting unique amenities such as basketball courts and spaces for cultural and religious events. The church also features exquisite sculptures by renowned local artists and is surrounded by lush Mediterranean greenery. While currently undergoing restoration, both its facade and interior faithfully reflect the era of Jesuit order churches.

(Translated by Google) The church of Gesù of the Jesuit College of Alcamo, what can I say... It's not just a building made of stone or a historical monument, for me, it's for everyone and the people of Alcamo... and I say EVERYONE, it's a collection of memories emotions that paper and ink are not enough to describe. Even though it was not a parish, the people of Alcamo all went to pray and ask the Jesuit Fathers for advice. In the years of the youth student protest (1968 - 78) the College was a point of reference for us young people. Thanks to the presence of those religious people (who were not country curates) who were excellent educators, with their wisdom they helped us taught the ABCs of life. Those Jesuits were excellent observers who were never intrusive, they identified with the youth problems of the time, giving us wise advice, to never act on instinct but always think before uttering words from the mouth or any other intimidating gesture that could compromise ours and the lives of others . LU CULLEGGIU...For our parents it was the Temple of Solomon, the Temple of Civil Education and Wisdom. Many young people from that time are now excellent professionals in all fields, from schools to architecture, engineering, healthcare, and many other institutional apparatuses of the state. It's a shame now that this monument of Alcamo memories is about to falter also because someone high up has decided for the second time to remove the Jesuits in Alcamo, first the Savoy State and now the Republican State. I really hope that some young people who were then now excellent professionals will read and see themselves leafing through their album of memories. So let's save our TEMPLE (Let's rebel) respecting the memory of the Fathers Facciponte-Canarella Polizzotto-Calvagno the Frangiamore brothers- and Giuseppe the latter still with us....etc. Thanks and sorry.... Grazie e scusatemi....
