Really excellent exhibitions. There was something for everyone 5, 9, and adults and a nice mix of discovery, learning and seeing familiar things. We learned a lot!

Amazing campsite with nice playgrounds, restaurant and ice kiosk however not the safest? The toilet facilities could be more plenty full but mostly die to walking distance not due to queueing. Only real downside is the price especially seeing that the campsite is open to the surroundings meaning people from outside use the facilities (watertaps on the camp spots, playgrounds etc.). This gives a strange feeling especially if the site is not full. A bit similar to being parked in public park. People simply come and go as they please and use the campsite as a walkway. One side is a small tourist info centre with a garden, another side is a cafe with garden and outside seating - didn’t go in tho. Went on a Saturday for the local market. As it was already near 2pm, there were only few stands that was there but we still could catch a glimpse of the vibes (clothes, fruits, honey, flowers and heaps of cantarelles mushrooms). Location is really close to the train station and Rörstrand Museum and there is a great children’s playground (lekplats) just in front of the river side.

Fantastic place, went in there for the 14:00 English tour with a friend and got a full tour of the 3rd floor just to ourselves. (Perhaps the website should include more visible info about the English tour, because I remember seeing it and then not finding it again.) It's a good deal cooler inside the castle than outside, which was fine for us since we'd just cycled there in the afternoon sun; if you're driving straight there, you might want a sweater. Nice guides, well-maintained spot, and they even let us camp close to the castle since there weren't many people around.
