Today, it serves as an exhibition space and hosts various cultural events. Visitors have praised the diverse and well-presented art exhibitions as well as the high-quality concerts held at this picturesque fortress with beautiful gardens.

Interesting old fortification dating back to 1766 which was repurposed as a cultural centre in 1992 and is now a museum, exhibition hall and the venue for regular concerts. It is just off the main road in Rincón de la Victoria. Nice grounds where you can sit and relax, admire the garden or the Rapto de Europa sculpture.

Beach
Playa del Rincón de la Victoria is a vibrant beach destination that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. Nestled conveniently near dining options and hotels, this bustling shoreline features inviting palapas, lounge chairs, and even boats bobbing in the gentle waves. Getting there is a breeze; simply head from Malaga towards Velez-Malaga until you spot the entrance sign for Rincón de la Victoria, then make your way down to the coast.
Good beach. Many restaurants on the boardwalk. Main Street has lots of shops and eateries.
Tin N — Google review
Decent beach if ypu don't mind the rocks in the water. The further east you go, the better it gets (less / no rocks). No showers available, decent kiosks/restaurants closeby.
David R — Google review
Very nice, clean and long beach and promenade with restaurant and bars. If you prefer "nature" beach with no anoying do ckchair and parasol rentals, this is the place to go.
Milos B — Google review
Beautiful slice of the Costa del Sol. The beach on weekdays is not too crowded and their is a great walkway going up and down the beach. The walkway goes through many tunnels in the rocks which is cool and there are paths going up stairs over the rocks instead of through them for great views of the Sea. There are multiple kids parks and places to shower and work out along the beach, also a great assortment of places to eat. This simple and free strip of beach was one of my favorite parts of visiting Malaga.
David H — Google review
Beautiful beach with soft sand and clean. Love this entire coastline. Huge amounts of change over the years. Beach showers lifeguards, bars, and restaurants everywhere..
Angela B — Google review
Very beautiful and especially long sandy beach. The sand is dark and partly pebbly and rocky. The sea has cool temperatures even in the hot summer of 2022. The beach promenade has many restaurants.
Stefan B — Google review
Nice family beach with shallow water great for kids to splash about in. Accessible by bus m160 from malaga 1.80 per person a good price for the length of journey. Quite busy on a summers day but that's to be expected.

Nestled near the beach, Restaurante Paraíso de China stands out as a must-visit spot in Rincon de la Victoria, especially during the bustling summer months when tourists flock to the area. This charming eatery offers an impressive array of delicious and affordable dishes that are sure to satisfy any palate. The friendly staff, including a young waitress fluent in English, ensures that all guests feel welcome and understood.
We came here early and in January so very quiet hence the atmosphere was low. However the food was excellent. Had Hot and Sour Soup delicious flavor. The squid, prawns and noodle dishes were so fresh and even the spring rolls were fresh not frozen so we were very impressed. Looks like a family run business. Been past many times and so glad we came in. Will return for sure. 😊 Thanks

We visited this restaurant last night [11.11.24] and found the place very good, our food was nice and we never waited long for any of the courses. The cook and the staff were very polite and hospitable. If we are back in the area we will return.
Dj T — Google review
We saw that there were not many visitors there, but who would have thought that someone could ruin Chinese cuisine like that? I have never eaten such crap in any country. Shrimp in Chinese sauce, langoustines in spicy or chicken in sweet and sour, it was all one sauce that tasted like dishwater. It also turned out to be an absolute norm to mix up orders, instead of chicken with egg we got with mushrooms, when we pointed it out, they just laughed in our faces and of course didn't replace anything. The icing on the cake was the check. they counted us, duplicated the dishes, and we were the only visitors at that time, how could they make a mistake at 1 table? only on purpose. In general, just take care of your stomachs and wallets, this food is just garbage.

Really nice food all freshly cooked as it came out nice and slowly Great staff Good attitude Really really tasty food would recommend 🤤

Simply the worst Chinese food I ever had. And I have seen a lot of the years. There is nothing to add. If there would be minus stars, I would give them as many as possible.
Ralph E — Google review
Worst chinese I have ever ate! Very bad service, staff were very ignorant and not nice at all. The food was revolting. Me and my family ate at another restaurant which was beside it and staff purposely came out to look at us. WOULD NOT recommend to anybody. I would tell people to avoid this chinese restaurant!!

Supermarket
Mercadona is a popular supermarket chain found in most towns in Malaga, including Rincon de la Victoria along Avenida de Cotomar. The store offers a large selection of grocery items and personal products. It has both covered and uncovered parking, with the covered parking having certain restrictions. Despite this, it's praised for its easy navigation, fresh selection of basic goods, and friendly staff. Customers appreciate the consistently good quality of their products and competitive prices.
Easy parking, easy navigating, good, fresh selection of basic goodies and some specials too. Friendly, efficient staff.
Erja R — Google review
My favorite supermarket. Small and convenient. Love the fresh veggies and meat cuts. Enough gluten free options.
Yuri G — Google review
Great prices, fresh food, delicious drinks from milk to beer. Plenty of registers and we didn't have to wait long.
Alicia * — Google review
A fairly well stocked shop, tucked away a few streets back from the beach. There is covered and uncovered parking. The covered parking is accessed at the back of the building. One thing to bear in mind is if use the covered parking, you take a ticket and you can park for 1 hour. To get out of the car park you must buy something from the shop, the scanner at the exit gate reads your till receipt. You have 20 minutes from checkout to leaving. These restrictions don't apply to the outside parking.
Gerry P — Google review
Its ok in a pinch. I wish they carried more items of well known brands. Prices are very good.

Historical landmark
Torre Vigía de El Cantal is one of the historic beacon towers along the coastline, dating back to the 14th century. Shaped like a conical trunk, it served as a defensive structure against enemy invasions. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Rincon de la Victoria from this watchtower and witness breathtaking sunrises. The well-maintained site offers wooden handrails and seating areas for visitors to relax while taking in the beautiful coastal scenery.
A nice tower with a lovely view from up there.

✅ A magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Rincon de la Victoria beach. ✅ Free ✅ It's the end or beginning of the Punta el Cantal walking route, and you should add it to your plan. ✅If you're lucky, you might find an empty parking place on the street just in front of the tower.

The warm and friendly staff are eager to assist you in finding the perfect bottle or even personalized gift packages.
Absolutely superb place! Wonderful range of wines and spirits, mostly at almost half normal price. Aladdins' (large) cave for wine lovers. Spirits very good prices and huge, huge range. Bushmills nearly a third cheaper than where it is made at home in County Antrim. Stocks Black Bush too!

First of all I cannot believe that I am the first person to write a review of this Bodega. I came here today on my endless quest to discover cool places to which I am able to walk. This Bodega certainly meets my goal. I bought a brand new bora here, and now I can walk here to fill it up straight from the barrel. The people who work here are super friendly. They have lots of Malaga wines, liquors, and vermut. A nice selection of wine and liquor from around Spain as well. There is a bar and a small deli case too. A great place. Highly recommended!
Brett B — Google review
This bodega has a lot of local choices including local sweet wines. I strongly recommend it if you are looking for a good wine or local liquor.

(Translated by Google) I dared to go to the place because of the good reviews that described the staff as “affectionate” and warm, and the treatment my family and I received was anything but warm. I don't give a single star just because the place is beautiful, there is a great variety of wines but the service was terrible. We asked for recommendations based on one of our taste as a reference and the lady who served us only offered us cheap drinks, emphasizing over and over again that they were the cheapest and at no time did we mention a budget.

Historical landmark
When traveling to the renowned Caminito del Rey hike, a stop at the charming white village of Alora is highly recommended. One of its main attractions is the 5th-century Castillo árabe de Bezmiliana, situated atop a hill overlooking the village. This castle was constructed on Roman fortifications and served as a crucial stronghold during the region's Muslim rule.
(Translated by Google) Castle from the 10th century from which the Arab city of Bezmiliana developed. This castle is often confused with the 16th century Casa Fuerte (also in Rincón but closer to the beach line). It is located on a high hill and access is not difficult. You can reach the base itself by car (it seems that you arrive at a garage area without a passage but you can access an open field by crossing a metal frame). It occupies a considerable area, and has square towers every few meters, of which only the beginnings can be seen. It's full of pottery everywhere and you can see poachers' holes. It's a shame it's so abandoned. The views from the top are cool.

(Translated by Google) These Arab remains from the 10th century that rise from the highest hill of Rincón de la Victoria belong to the Bezmiliana Castle (Hisn Bismiliana). It is a place full of history and at the same time depopulation, and in which the town of Bezmiliana was already a nucleus of Phoenician, Roman and later Arab origins. It seems that the latter, seeing the defensible nature of this rocky hill, would build a powerful bastion to defend the entire surrounding population, due to the political instability that Al-Andalus experienced at that time. This did not mean that after some epidemics and being so close to the coast under attacks from different sources, it ended up depopulated already in the last stage of the Nasrid kingdom, but when the Catholic kings arrived in the area in the 15th century they would only find the place half depopulated and in ruins, they would have the idea of reinforcing and rebuilding the castle again, but it would be forgotten and this location would fall into oblivion and progressive abandonment. Making way for the flourishing city of Rincón de la Victoria that would be born next to the coast and partly on the Arab remains of Bezmiliana. The remains that have reached us today are the traces of what was the fortified enclosure, with the projections of several square towers and one circular. In addition to the remains of the main door with a defense barbican that gives us an idea of the important defensive bastion that this castle became. Caverns & Caves
Cueva del Tesoro, also known as the natural cathedral of the Costa del Sol, is a popular tourist destination in Andalusia. Located near Nerja and Frigiliana, it offers guided tours with walkways, stairs, and lighting for visitors to explore its natural cave formations. The tour includes a visit to areas not usually open to the public where ancient wall paintings and handprints dating back 32,000 years can be seen.
Unique in Europe, very beautiful, certainly worth the visit. Closed between 1330 1630 hrs. Parking, toilets, e-guide, easy access. Can book online or pay on arrival. Takes between 30 minutes and 1 hr to visit or more if you run into details.
Marius V — Google review
Though the cage is not very big it is definitely very picturesque. Added benefit of visiting, is the ability to stay off the heat for some 30-45 minutes. You don't need warm clothes, the temperature inside is around 20°C but it feels warmer due to high humidity. You can buy the tickets online which is probably a good option as they are limited.
Paweł C — Google review
It's a super cool cave on a hot Malaga day. ✅ The interior is designed to be very safe, and I don't think it's dangerous, even for children. ⚠️ There's no guide inside the cave, but there is an digital guide. You'll need a headset for this. However, the digital guide only support 5 language. ✅ Free parking is available. ✅ There's no need to buy tickets online, and the queues don't seem to be long.
Serkan K — Google review
This is a perfect and fresh place near Malaga. It's cheap (around 5 EUR for adults), but keep in mind that it's small and can be explored in about an hour. Be sure to download the audio guide before you head down the stairs, as there is no network access inside the cave, and I had to go back to download it. The cave itself is amazing—it beautifully combines nature and history, making it a super cool experience for kids.
Igor M — Google review
The cave was absolutely beautiful and fortunately clean. However, the organization of this place leaves much to be desired. Ticket checks take place at the ticket counter, and the entrance to the area where the cave entrance is located is a short distance before it. Actually, while looking for a restroom, we walked through the door to the second room without checking our tickets, and no one was watching, so we could enter basically for free. There was also no staff in the cave itself, and we were preceded by a very loud group of tourists, and there was no one around who could quiet the group and adapt them to the rules in the cave.

Visited at 4pm - quiet, almost private visit. There were with us only 6-8 people. But we got lucky, because bus tour came with ~30 people when we finished 🫣 Nice cozy cave, with water inside. One section felt like Antelope Canyon. 6€ per person.

Cueva del Tesoro was really interesting. We went in curious and ended up amazed. It’s beautiful inside and there’s a lot to explore. Some parts are still closed because they’re still digging and discovering new areas, which makes it even more exciting. Definitely worth checking out!

Golf club
Añoreta Resort is an 18-hole golf course situated amidst palm trees, offering scenic views of the Mediterranean and a serene lake. The club features a clubhouse restaurant that serves delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The rooms have recently been renovated, providing clean accommodations with comfortable beds and excellent showers. Visitors can relax in the beautiful sitting area outside while enjoying a drink overlooking the golf course.
Very nice course and friendly staff. We made reservations in advance and gold carts and clubs were prepared ( unfortunately we were given one left-handed sweet of clubs which we had to change after lunch). Check in was very easy. The small store with golf articles is also very nice, prices in the shop are reasonable. The drive range is closed on Monday and also not located near the clubhouse. But the course itself is nice and well maintained. We had lunch after hole #10. The clubhouse has a limited (3) selection after 14;30 on Monday. Still enjoyable. We then did the remaining holes, which was also a pleasure. It is a first for me where the last holes do not end with the clubhouse. Overall a positive experience, friendly staff, nice course.

Absolute must if playing golf around Malaga or Marbella. Had an issue with our buggy but after a quick call to the club shop someone brought out a replacement and changed it over within 10 minutes. The course was fantastic and in great condition. Definitely visit again when we travel to Malaga again in the future

UPDATE.. It would appear that we have been charged twice for our one night booking. Once by hotels.com and then more than double by the resort. We are seriously not impressed. Be aware for yourselves. We are staying at the hotel for one night as we have an engagement locally.. very nice and comfortable however, the cleaners forgot to see the cigarette packet on the floor by the fridge!! There's a kettle but no spoons, too.

Very good golf resort. Driving range short 5 min drive with own car, located next to padel fields. Challenging course and well-maintained. Nice views and clean fairway. Just play & enjoy!

Los Olivos didn't quite meet Los Lagos for me. Would've been 5 stars but for that. Good shop. Course conditions great. Facilities and staff great too.

Course was ok. Clubs - paid for rental of clubs prior but gave no option regarding the quality, when I got there they gave me shockingly old Cleveland clubs and then said extra must be paid for better clubs (No reference of this prior to booking). Pace of play- IT TOOK 3 HOURS TO DO 9 HOLES AS 1 PLAYER WITH A BUGGY. Due to multiple groups in front playing THAT SLOW, it took 3 hours to do 8 and half holes (1 player). At this point I went back to reception and asked if I could be refunded half as it was going to take a further 3 or 4 hours to complete the back 9, which would have totalled a 6/7 18 hole round which is absolutely ridiculous. I’m on holiday and had planned other things as I was expected a 4 hour round MAX. When I asked if the refund was possible the receptionist looked at me as if I was an alien and said she could only discount me off another round (I’m on holiday). Bar and others areas around the club house etc looked closed. Had to jump over a wall at one point because the gate was locked with a snapped handle. Course is alright and would have been ok if it wasn’t so slow but definitely not worth the 100 odd euros they are charging
Sam P — Google review
For the price, there are better courses in the area. The clubhouse is great (it’s had investment) but the course is in need of some TLC. Overall the course could be brilliant; great setup, challenging holes, great views. However, the course needs some investment. The greens on the back nine are patchy or patched. It’s a shame that they’ve not been invested in properly. Same can be said with some of the tee boxes (not flat) and the netting flapping around the course. You can see the original design & intention of the golf course, but it now looks & feels tired.

We were happy to see and hear the talented semi-finalists attending young flamenco singers' competition. And the guitarist, wow! It was wonderful to experience how the local flamenco culture is kept alive. Lovely little club, thank you for the warm welcome!

(Translated by Google) This is a fantastic place!!!! Flamenco lovers gather on Wednesdays and Fridays. A group of friends sings with such soul that it makes your insides clench. Very welcoming people. We were just tourists who showed up uninvited at a strange party. They greeted us warmly and gave us a tour. I just wanted to take a photo on stage, but they gave me a scarf, brought in a guitarist, and it turned into a whole video in character. Men and women took turns singing songs, and the three guitarists blended into such a melody that it gave me goosebumps. I highly recommend it! By the way, you can also order drinks and snacks there at very low prices.

(Translated by Google) I put one star because you can't do less. The park was miserable. The facilities were completely abandoned. I don't know how they have positive reviews from recently, when you see the park you clearly see that they haven't been cleaned for a long time. There was a sign indicating “disinfected area”…. I attach photos so you can see if it was even clean (I no longer say disinfected for obvious reasons). Even the park's mascot, which is the visible face, was broken. On the other hand, there were areas that were dangerous, the slide is designed to have balls at the bottom and the balls were conspicuous by their absence. That is DANGEROUS, since this one has a considerable height. In short, I do not plan to take my daughter to any birthday party again until this situation is resolved. I think the level of filth is for them to hire an outside company to clean and disinfect the place. *Since it doesn't let me answer the answer that the manager or owner has given me (and we would already get into a conversation) I answer from here. I understand that you want to defend yourself but sometimes it is better to accept the review than to make the white look black. Those games hadn't been clean for a long time. The stains on the castle were not from one day or two... there was accumulated dirt. It may have passed its health inspection with no problems but that it was dirty is undeniable. Of course children spoil things and make things dirty, but everyone has to be consistent with the business they run. Your obligation is to leave it clean for the next ones. Again I tell you that we would start a conversation, I am simply a user who has posted a review WITH HER EXPERIENCE AND WHAT SHE HAS SEEN.

Cerro Tío Cañas, an easily accessible location offering stunning panoramic views, unfortunately suffers from a lack of attention. Many visitors misuse the area by consuming alcohol, indulging in take-out food, smoking, and then carelessly discarding their waste on the ground. Moreover, some individuals irresponsibly add to the debris rather than clearing it up. Nonetheless, this spot remains a pleasurable destination for dog-walking or engaging in sports activities.

Interesting sculpture by Jose Seguiri entitled 'Rapto de Europa' which sits in the gardens of the Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana. So it apparently goes...One fine day, the god Zeus sees Europa playing on the beach of Sidon. Captivated by her beauty, he transforms himself into a white bull and sits at the maiden’s feet. After overcoming her initial shock at the animal’s gentleness, she caresses it and ends up riding on its back. The false bull takes advantage of this by throwing himself into the sea and speeding off to Crete.
