Dingli Cliffs, located in Malta, are a must-visit for nature lovers. These towering cliffs offer panoramic views of the island and feature a chapel at the highest point. While it's advisable to avoid visiting during the hot summer afternoons due to the lack of shade and safety barriers, an evening walk along these cliffs is highly recommended. The area is not overly crowded, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and taking in the breathtaking views.
Absolutly beautiful place, a must in my opinion. You can walk all along the cliff enjoying views and take pictures. I would suggest to go there right before night fall to benefit from the golden hour
Adrien G — Google review
I visited Dingli Cliffs recently and truly enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunset views of my life. The place felt peaceful, quiet, and absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sun slowly disappear into the horizon was an amazing experience. If you’re in Malta and love nature, calm moments, and stunning scenery, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended.✌️
Sonam T — Google review
Dingli Cliffs offer one of the most stunning natural viewpoints in Malta. Towering above the Mediterranean Sea, these cliffs provide dramatic views, especially at sunset when the sky and sea blend into a golden horizon. The area is peaceful and uncrowded, perfect for a scenic walk or quiet reflection. With fresh sea air, panoramic vistas, and a sense of untouched beauty, Dingli Cliffs are a must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Marco — Google review
Very beautiful! Wish I could have come at sunset as the sun sets this direction and it’s supposed to be beautiful! But even during the day it’s stunning. You don’t need that much time there. Cute little vendors on site as well that sell souvenirs and snacks
Rukia Y — Google review
Dingli Cliffs is one of Malta’s most breath-taking natural landmarks, offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding countryside. It’s a wonderful place for a peaceful walk, with ample free street parking along the roadside, as well as a small car park in front of the chapel. The cliffs are especially popular at sunset, when the sky lights up with beautiful colours, making it a favourite spot for photographers and couples alike. There are a few benches along the way where you can sit and enjoy the scenery, and you can even spot Filfla Island in the distance. It’s also a popular stop for guided tours, but even if you visit on your own, the sense of tranquillity is unmatched. 🌅 Perfect spot to watch the sunset 📸 Beautiful location for photography and photoshoots 🅿️ Free roadside parking + Free small car park by the chapel 🏞️ Panoramic views of the sea, countryside, and Filfla Island
Amy B — Google review
“Dingli Cliffs is an amazing spot for sunset shots! 🌅 The views over the Mediterranean are breathtaking, with dramatic cliffs and golden light — perfect for photography and soaking in nature.”
Yash S — Google review
Worth visiting. The view on the wide open sea and cliffs is wonderful. And the hillside with car wrecks which have be laying there for decades is also impressive.
Ingars T — Google review
Nothing special about it and nothing to do here. Maybe better to see the sunset if you are into it but other then that, rather skip it. No shade, overpriced trinkets, sea and "cliffs". You can see better cliffs in Ireland, Norway, Croatia, Greece etc...

The Limestone Heritage Park and Gardens is a family-friendly destination that offers an immersive experience into the history of limestone in Malta. The park also features a farm animal area for children to interact with animals while adults can appreciate the stunning limestone formations dating back 22 million years.
Not necessarily my thing but worth was checking out. Was informative and interesting to see. Pretty cool how old limestone quarries turn to gardens after. Cool experience if you are looking for something different to do.
Luke L — Google review
Lovely little audio tour and fascinating to hear and see the history. Doesn't need more than an hour for the tour and no sign of any demonstrating or anything to interest children (although I wasn't looking very hard). Used Google maps to find easily enough once got off bus (which stopped early) and the milkshake in the cafe was fabulous!
Cat S — Google review
A hidden Gem! It is well taken care of and very informative. Some interesting artefacts can be seen in the museum, with a small relaxing garden to take a small break for people with young children. Very helpful and professional staff. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of shooting at Limestone Heritage, and I can confidently say that it is an absolutely remarkable wedding venue that deserves five stars in every category. From the moment you enter the venue, you are immediately struck by its rich history and authentic Maltese charm. The venue's stunning architecture, with its traditional limestone walls, arches, and domes, creates a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with the stunning backdrops that Limestone Heritage provided for capturing the beauty of the day. The venue's unique architecture and natural light made for truly breathtaking photos, and the atmosphere was perfect for capturing those special moments that make a wedding day so memorable. Overall, I would highly recommend Limestone Heritage to any couple looking for a truly exceptional wedding venue. With its rich history, authentic Maltese charm, exceptional service, and versatile spaces, it is truly deserving of five stars in every category.

A lovely place to visit, wandering around in the gardens, the size of the lemons is unreal compared to the ones in the shops in the UK. they smelt so fresh and zesty. We had a demonstration of how the Lemoncello is made and got to taste the final produce, and also some lemon drizzle cake the guides wife had made. The gardens with the lemon trees, plants and even a waterfall make this a lovely place to visit. There's toilets and also a gift shop, a cafe, and a lift to get around.

The beach features natural caves that provide shade, while the clear sea with vibrant colors makes it ideal for snorkeling and diving to explore the rich marine life. Visitors can also enjoy casual dining at beachside restaurants overlooking the water.
Great place for snorkeling if you do not mind the crowd. Rocky and deep sea. Insane number of fish but be careful with the current if you swim around.
Burcu A — Google review
It's one of my most favourite swimming spots in Malta. The water is clean, there ate ample shades under the caves, and the snorkelling and diving are amazing
Samuel B — Google review

Natalia S — Google review
a very calm bay (compared to some others) with only 1 restaurant nearby (begin june, there are others but those were not open (yet)) very clear water, you can see a lot of fishes here
Thiery M — Google review
Beautiful beaches. Caves on the beach provide natural shade. Beautiful clear sea with beautiful colors. Because of its purity and configuration of the terrain is ideal for diving and snorkeling. Rich living world below the surface of the sea, you can see different kinds of fish and other creatures. Beach restaurant are pleasent to take a break. Parking is large, but it's often full of vehicles especially on weekends. It's a ideal place for those who like rocks and clear water, can be a bit of a problem for those who looking for sandy beaches. In any case this beach should be visited, because of the swimming in the sea, but also because of the beautiful nature that is around the beach.

The illuminations were amazing ❤️ and the work that went in to it was obvious The walk around the palace to see the lights took a good hour and was the perfect setting. Could probably do with a few more toilets for an event if this scale! There was a mini christmas market which added to the charm

Verdala palace had opened for the public so i gave a visit but there was a huge queue and the tour was in maltese so not very helpful if you dont know maltese. We went in the evening, the garden area was beautiful.

Nice palace, I appreciated that there was a guide showing us the place, the only problem is that he kept speaking in smallest despite there were more foreigners in the group.

We visited the palace during Christmas time. There is the "Illuminated path" exhibition, a great theme park for children and not only. The place is converted into a pathway full of lighted animals, flowers, snowmans and Christmas sculptures. It is a Great experience for the children. There is also a small open market with traditional sweets, food like pizza, beverages and other kind of souvenirs, little toys and flowers. The ticket has a reasonable price and worths it.

Catholic church
The Siġġiewi Church of St Nicholas is a stunning example of Baroque architecture, featuring ornate marble columns and intricate frescoes. The church is the heart of the village and provides a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to marvel at its grandeur. During the Feast of St Nicholas, the town comes alive with celebrations including wonderful band music and a fantastic fireworks display after dark. The church's interior is beautifully decorated, making it a must-see attraction in this charming little town.
I don't know how I got there. I went to the cliffs at morning 5am from Qormi by walking and after that, I couldn't find a bus after a long walk I decided to walk other bus stop. While walking A barking dog came near me, and I got frightened and ran away. Again After a long wait, I asked someone for help. A unknown person stopped his car and gave me a lift in his car, but he dropped me off at a center since he was heading a different way to his workplace. Using Google Maps, I walked to a bus stop, but I ended up in front of Saint Nicholas Church. It was the church's feast day, so I went inside to pray. This was my first time visiting a Saint Nicholas Church, and I hope to go again someday. When I came out and waited for the bus near the church stop, an old lady unexpectedly approached me and smiled. She informed me that there were no buses due to the feast. I hadn't asked for help, but she inquired where I needed to go and then guided me about 500 meters to another bus stop. She mentioned she was 67 years old. I told her she was a godly woman. After we reached the bus stop, I wanted to give her a laminated photo of Mary from Velankanni Church in Tamil Nadu, India, but she left before I could. I caught the bus and went home. Everything that happened felt unbelievable.

The Church of St Nicholas in Siġġiewi is a stunning example of Baroque architecture, reflecting Malta’s rich history and religious heritage. Built in the late 17th century, it stands as one of the most impressive churches in the area. The grand façade, intricate stonework, and beautifully detailed interior make it a must-visit for architecture lovers. Inside, you'll find impressive frescoes, ornate altars, and a sense of peace and history. The church is located in the heart of Siġġiewi, surrounded by charming streets and traditional Maltese buildings. A beautiful place to visit and admire Maltese craftsmanship.

The museum also holds historical significance as it played a crucial role in the defense strategy against Ottoman threats in 1565.
Great museum and place to discover history of Malta. I spent here around 3 hours before it is closed and really want to come back and see some more missed halls. Also there are great views to Sliema and other districts. Definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend 👍🏼
Anton B — Google review
Must visit if you're into history. The place has one of the best interactive media journies and showcases the history of Malta and its history in wolrd wars so well. Honestly, I was expecting a really beautiful fort with a bit of history here and there but at the end of the 2 hours we spent here with my partner, both her and I were really impressed by the media and immersion. Definitely don't skip the second floor!
Anton A — Google review
Very impressed by this historic monument. A bastion full of history, so beautiful and so wonderfully preserved. The tour is well structured and allows you to see lots of interesting things about such a wide span of history. My favorite part is on the Great Siege. I highly recommend this must-see!
Jojo S — Google review
The fort and the history of Malta at war is very interesting. The stead of the National War Museum over different buildings makes it more appealing. Beautiful views all around!
YF F — Google review
What an excellent place to visit whilst in Valletta for the day! For just €10 you get access to the fort and war museum, plus some picturesque views across the bay. The museum itself was really well done, with a mix of written displays and video exhibits to really bring the stories to life. Each era is split across different buildings, so there is a fair bit of walking involved (including stairs) but it’s well worth it! Easy to spend 1-2 hours here.
Katrina — Google review
Very well laid out, excellent and informative displays. Told the story if this amazing island really well. Original George Cross medal on display. Loved it. Allow min 2 hours. Wonderful views too.
Brenda P — Google review
Brilliant. Spend half a day here, easily, and you'll come away with a comprehensive picture of this island nation's endurance through siege and war. Sensitive use of video to highlight key times is a real bonus, and the movement through the centuries is clear and well marked. The magnificent buildings are well kept and hugely impressive. Great views of the harbour are a real bonus.

Fantastic museum, don't forget to go through the arch (with the all seeing eye above) on the left hand side to see the displays. They are housed in 5 rooms so start at room 1 and work your way through in cronilogical order to room 5 to find out the history of these battlements from the 1500s to the present day.

Hagar Qim Temple is a pre-historic hilltop temple complex dating back to 3200 BC, featuring ruined apses and a visitor center for exploration. It is one of the best-preserved and most evocative prehistoric sites in Malta, situated atop sea cliffs. The temples are protected by permanent tentlike canopies and there's an informative visitors center with hands-on exhibits and a children's room for interactive learning.
Visited today 27th June. €10 per person (adult) for entry. They only accept card payments, no cash. The museum is small but informative and both sites are amazing to see. The only shade is under the domes that protect both sides. There are a couple of sign posted walks in the surrounding area and you will need a sturdy pair of shoes for these. Highly recommend for a visit 👌.
Paul B — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Making Stonehenge look like yesterday's news since 3600 BC! 🗿 Prepare to have your mind thoroughly blown because Ħaġar Qim doesn't just do ancient - it does ANCIENT with a capital everything! These temples were already over 1,000 years old when the first stones were laid at Stonehenge. Let that sink in whilst you're standing amongst megalithic architecture that makes you question what exactly our ancestors were up to 5,500 years ago! 🤯 The sheer scale and precision of these limestone blocks is absolutely mind-boggling. No cranes, no modern tools, just pure human ingenuity and probably a lot of very strong backs. The intricate carvings and astronomical alignments suggest these weren't just your average Bronze Age builders - these folks were proper clever clogs! The visitor centre does a brilliant job explaining the mysteries without taking away the magic. 🔍 Pro tip: Visit during sunset for absolutely spectacular lighting that makes the honey-coloured limestone glow like something from a fantasy film. The clifftop location offers stunning sea views too, because apparently our ancestors had impeccable taste in both engineering AND real estate! Wear comfortable shoes - the site's larger than you'd expect. 🌅
Tom D — Google review
We got here by bus and did not have to wait to enter. You can buy a number of combined tickets with other archeological sites around Malta. There is a shop with high prices (small water 2€) and souvenirs. The visit starts with an internal part where you can interact with the displays. Then you can visit the sites which are a bit far one from the other and walking on foot under the sun was not the best. Very beautiful and full of history, there is a guide you can get on your phone using a QR code.
F D — Google review
Arrived a few minutes after they opened so I was able to enjoy the peace before the busloads arrived. Spectacular Neolithic structures which beg the question: how on earth did they build that? The second site is a little ways away and the road is under construction so there is a scaffolded narrow downhill pathway out in the open sun. I definitely recommend taking the time to visit this site too as it is dramatically different and also very impressive. The free downloable audio tour was excellent and I recommend it for context. By the time I left a little after 10am, the lot was packed with buses and I suspect the awe and wonder I experienced in the silence would be lessened. Highly recommended none the less.
Phil M — Google review
Not a lot to see. The story of its history is more impressive then the site itself. Price to visit is also not really cheap but you can vist the mini museum and watch a 7 minutes movie in 3D
Iwan B — Google review
Well-presented UNESCO World Heritage/archeological site. Learn about Malta’s very early history. Take time to follow the free audio guide. Please bring your own headphones if possible. There is some walking involved if you see both sites.
Joe M — Google review
Interesting to see this historic site. We got in just behind a local school that were visiting so hung back a bit but the children were very well behaved. Incredible to think that this all come together so long ago without the technology we have nowadays. Now with a cover over it makes a reasonably safe haven for local birds. We went on from here out the back gate, along the cliff edge for a costal walk.

This is a must if you have a passion for Archaeological sites. Bring some good foot wear and something to take photos with. I came with a tour guide so there was lots of great information. There is actually two sites both on the same site both are undercover so even if it rains (which it did)…it doesn’t matter.

Really fun my kids enjoyed the film, it was around 20 minutes and you would learn a lot about maltese culture like the Knights of St. John during WW2 , il - mara Hoxna and other interesting stuff . Big recommend for tourists and locals. 👏

An enjoyable audio visual tour of Malta and its history. The kids in particular enjoyed the 3D aspect of the tour. After showing the tickets at reception, you walk a short distance to pick up your 3D glasses and then you enter the auditorium and wait for the audio visual tour to start. Knocking one star off as it is probably slightly overpriced given the show lasts approx 20 mins.

Fort St. Angelo is a restored medieval fort located on a peninsula, offering picturesque harbor views and historical displays. Originally constructed as a medieval castle, it was later strengthened by the Knights of Saint John in the 16th century to serve as their residence and headquarters during significant events in Malta's history. The fort played a crucial role in protecting the island and offers multimedia exhibitions that bring its exciting history alive.
Just amazing. Definitely worth every Euro to enter. The history of the fortress is very interesting and I really liked the films that briefly explain the whole history. I recommend not to miss them. However, the amazing views from the fortress are the highlight. You can see the harbours of the Tri-Cities and Valletta. I recommend setting aside at least an hour, more likely two, for the tour. It can be done quickly, but it would be a shame. It is excellent to go to the fortress before sunset. The view of the harbours is amazing! I recommend buying a combo ticket and then go to the harbor museum and the Inquisitor's Palace. These are great for +6 Euro.

Really enjoyed visiting Fort St Angelo in the 3 Cities area. Coming from Australia you just don’t see this sort of thing. It’s historical significance is amazing and Malta should be proud of what they have done at this site. If you take your time and watch the media displays you will learn so much. Great views of Valletta and surrounding 3 Cities. Always a display of super yachts parked out front adds to the atmosphere.

My first fortress ever, and I’m really impressed. I especially enjoyed the residential part of the fort. It’s also a great spot to watch the cannon salutes in Valletta, and overall the fort offers stunning views of the sea and the city.

Fort St. Angelo is absolutely breathtaking and a must-see when visiting Birgu! The location itself is incredible, with panoramic views over the Grand Harbour and Valletta. The fort is steeped in history, from the time of the Knights of St. John to its role in World War II, and it’s very well presented with detailed exhibits and restored areas to explore. Walking through the bastions feels like stepping back in time, and the sense of scale is amazing. It’s peaceful, atmospheric, and a perfect place to take in Malta’s heritage. Highly recommended for both history lovers and anyone who enjoys stunning views.

Fort St. Angelo is one of many amazing buildings built by the Knights of the order of St. John. It is massive and it takes around 2 hours to roam and envelop all the wonderous nooks and crannies of this place. The views are amazing and take time to sit and watch the video productions especially the one in the middle room featuring the great siege of Malta.

Well worth a visit. A good history lesson in the three rooms at the bottom. Great views and scenic photo opportunities from the top of the cavalier. And a lovely cafe to rest your weary feet half way up. Don't skip a walk through Birgu while you're in the area, peaceful and pretty.

Fort St. Angelo in Malta is an incredible historical site that offers a deep dive into the island’s rich past. The fort is beautifully preserved, with informative exhibits that bring centuries of history to life. The panoramic views of the Grand Harbour from the top are absolutely breathtaking. Overall, it’s a must-visit location with a powerful atmosphere and great historical significance.

I worked at the fort 42 years ago, and I have many lovely memories from that time. I recall one particular incident when I was ordered to make a breach in the fort's wall for new construction. I truly felt sorry to see the damage that was done afterwards to accommodate commercial ventures like hostels, discotheques, and restaurants. However, thanks to the new focus on heritage preservation, I can see a significant difference now. Well done to those who have restored it!

The Malta Falconry Centre, located in Siggiewi, is dedicated to the conservation and reintroduction of falcons into the Maltese habitat while reviving the ancient art of falconry. Visitors can witness a variety of birds including Peregrine Falcons, eagles, vultures, owls, kestrels, and hawks up close. The center offers a daily display at 11am where hawks and owls fly around for visitors to meet and even hold.
The falconry centre is wonderful! The birds are well cared for, and very much loved. We interacted with a few birds with their caretakers -- it was nice to see them nuzzle with the birds :) raised like little children . We highly recommend a visit, especially to catch the Display show (where we were able to touch a few birds).

Great experience. The place is well kept and is run as a family business, it is a must see. Dedicated staff explained about the upkeep of the place, the feeding process and how they take care of the birds. You can tell how much the birds are loved even from the way the staff speak about their birds. Will visit again for sure.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Travelled all the way in a taxi from Valletta on Wednesday 17 September only to find this place CLOSED and no explanation why because their website says it is open from 9.00. Tourists should give this place a miss!

Great place to come with children. Owner is an absolutely fantastic person, great enthusiast of all birds, very helpful and enjoys explaining everything about birds living there. We had luck to hold an owl, which was a very rare experience. Good addition to a visit to Hagar Qim or Blue Grotto (just visit centre web page in advance to check opening hours as they vary).
Pawel K — Google review
Make sure you get there for 11am, when there's a simple display with a few of the hawks and owls flying around and a chance to meet them up close or even hold one. Aside from that they have several species of eagle, falcon, owl and vulture that don't take part in the display, some in caged enclosures like at a zoo and some tethered to lines out in the open. Apart from a local school party it was fairly quiet when we went in November, but it might get busier in the summer.
John B — Google review
My father and I went to visit this popular attraction in Malta and we saw lots of kinds of birds including eagles, falcons, owls and hawks. The staff are friendly.
Joe R — Google review
Amazing experience, recommended! All the birds here are really happy, loved an well taken care of. If you book the half day or full day experience in advance, you'll get private guided tour in the falconry and learn lots of interesting facts about the birds. You can also help the staff with i.e. weighing birds and handle them, pet them, play with them and take as many photos as you want.
Karolína Š — Google review
The falcons are amazing and the owners are really enthusiastic. You can get up close to many of the birds if you attend the display, which is great, and being able to hold each of the birds is fantastic, although you can only touch the smaller ones. We were given a tour of each of the birds in exhibits, as it was quite quiet - not many people there. All in all, a brilliant experience!

Pit Master Smokehouse is one of the few establishments in Malta that specializes in smoking meat. While its appearance may deceive visitors into thinking it's a high-end lounge or seafood restaurant, the quality and cleanliness of this place surpass expectations. The cuisine is prepared meticulously with fresh ingredients, resulting in delectable dishes. The owners' attention to detail shines through not only in the food but also in maintaining a spotless restaurant.
Glorious foods! Don't miss the Beef Ribs.... Sooo tender and juicy. Their burgers are very good as well. This is our second time to experience their nice service and good food, and definitely not the last, will surely try their other dishes.
Maria S — Google review
Just amazing. Smokehouses are slowly becoming a trend in Malta, but this one really means it. Went in without a booking and we were very lucky since the restaurant is extremely small and only a table for 2 was left. Ordered chicken wings for starters, but my girlfriend wanted them with the sauce on the side. Personally didn't expect that this was possible since usually they are marinated in sauce for a long time and that was what the owner actually told us. I ordered them anyways since I wanted to compare them to other places. A few minutes later the owner told us that he actually had a non marinated batch and served them to us with their homemade sauce the side. Very nice gesture and didn't expect him to fo this for us. They were absolutely incredible and very tender, some of the best chicken wings I ever had. For mains we had the cured and smoked tagliata, and the smoked chunks of pork. Their smokey flavour was incredible, as well as their juiciness. The tagliata was very tender, and cooked medium rare as advised. Definitely authentic and made with a lot of love. The mains come with a side included, and we had the mac & cheese and sauerkraut. The mac & cheese isn't your typical one, since they do not actually serve you macaroni. What distinguishes it is the flavour of the smoked cheese that the fusilli pasta are drenched in. Can't imagine how much better they would be if they were oven baked and actual macaroni were used. The sauerkraut was as good as it gets as well. My girlfriend wanted the smoked cheese listed as an extra on the menu, and the owner told us that even though they usually serve it with their sandwiches, he gave us a small portion completely free of charge. This was extremely nice of him and the smoked cheddar cheese tasted amazing. I wanted to try out their apple strudel for dessert, but unfortunately they ran out. Will definitely have to go back to try it out along with something else from their vast menu. Prices are very reasonable and the place isn't pretentious at all. I would advise any meat lover to try this place out, but make sure to reserve your table in advance since it was full on a Wednesday. Keep up the good work!
Luke B — Google review
This is one of few smokehouses in Malta. Don't let the decor fool you, as it looks like a fancy lounge, or seafood restaurant. We almost thought we were at the wrong place! But where the decor goes wrong, the quality and cleanliness go over the top. The food is fresh, delicious and prepared with care and quality. The restaurant is also spotless, and you can tell the attention to detail the owner and his wife have put into the concept. Try it for yourself and see. Not convinced? Check out my pictures! The nacho dip looks bland no? It's absolutely delicious. It's smoked cheese. I wanted to lick the plate after 🤫

L-Arka ta' Noe is a zoo that animal lovers will enjoy. It houses rare and extraordinary animals, particularly big cats such as Bengal and Siberian tigers, including unique variations like pure white, black and white, and Golden Tabby tigers. The zoo provides generously sized cages with small rooms for the animals to seek shelter in different weather conditions. Visitors can purchase peanuts at the ticket office to feed the animals.
A great spot for families, featuring a wide variety of animals, particularly tigers. Also they have a children's play area and a restaurant. When i went the restaurant was closed.

Hi everyone, this place is something different here in Malta. The green grass is beautiful to see after all those yellow buildings. Animals are so cute and live to cuddle 🥰 Four stars because I wanted to read more about animals
Andjela N — Google review
I visited this place expecting a sanctuary for animals, but what I found was truly heartbreaking. The animals are anxious, kept in cramped cages, and many have no shaded areas to rest. There’s even a system where visitors can buy food for the animals, but there’s no proper control over how much they are actually eating. This is absolutely sad for anyone who cares about animal welfare and feels like a step backward for the cause. The place should be closed, and the animals rescued from this mistreatment.
Bel G — Google review
Rated 5 star compare to Malta, as this place is the cleanest and greenest private zoo on the island, worth a visit with kids. Possibility to feed various herbivores and to use the bouncy castle, also food and drink options
Gábor B — Google review
Had a party here for my daughter and nephew. Very nice venue and food. Added "zoo" was nice to see with a good range of animals. Best part was getting to meet and feed the tiger cubs. Overall a very fun and enjoyable day for all involved.
Nikki M — Google review
The price was fair for the amount of animals and staff was very friendly. It's true that it looks like the cages are way too small (not by law). I have seen animals have way bigger space in the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A country known for bad animal standards. But since I dont operate at this facility and I am not an animal expert I wont give them lesser stars for it. I hope this place serves as a sanctuary more than a zoo. If it possible for staff to explain how the zoo operates, would be greatly appreciated :)
Maarten L — Google review
Visited with kids today, the state of animals is concerning, the leopard pacing back and forth in the same place in circles, lioness had her back legs injured, she couldn’t move properly, the one donkey that we saw was in a very bad state, hooves not trimmed, he had skin sores on his head , chickens most of them had feathers missing. Personally I don’t think it’s a proper conditions for such animals, and a small packet of peanuts 1 euro, which is fed to all the animals isn’t a way… hope animals either receive a better treatment or rehabilitated, which is highly unlikely I’m sure ….

Smart Supermarket, located in B'kara, is the largest store on the main island with a wide range of products. The staff is known for being friendly and helpful, and customers appreciate the reasonable prices. The store offers a point system and bottle vouchers that make it more cost-effective than some competitors. Registering at customer care allows customers to collect points for rewards like free water. Many shoppers praise the variety of products available and commend the helpfulness of the staff.
My major impressions about this massive store are; Employee Attitude. I observed, on few occasions I visited, the employees were friendly, enthusiastic, proactive about assisting customers get around the store. Also I observed they had good rapport among themselves, regardless of hierarchy, they exhibited camaraderie. Product. They have an ample variety of products shoppers are spoilt for choice. Pricing. Talk about cost effectiveness, regular discounts, value for money. Space and Layout. If you enjoy shopping for therapy, this might be a good try. You will find lots of exciting items organised in a maze that keeps you going and discovering. The layout of the store is it for me, it gives room for pushing carts without bumping into people or shelves, there is enough room for families or couples shopping. Products are so displayed that you look around like you are in an art gallery. At the check out, there is fast check out for few items and other cash points for bulk items. I highly recommend they introduce self check, I didn't notice if they do have.

The biggest store on the main island, you will find anything here. Staff is kind, the security guy even showed me around when I was lost. Prices are way better than back in Hungary. A bit more than Lidl but the point system and bottle vouchers offset it in the favour of Smart. Every € you spend after registering at customer care that takes 5 minutes(no card just account number😀) you can collect 30 for a free 6pack of water. I no longer buy water anywhere. Others do this for their entire households with carts full off plastic bottles queueing near the machines that take glass and plastic. The products are fresh and there is a section for everything, you name it. Fish✅ Dairy✅ Pasta section✅, ect ect... Recommended it for anything more than a few items as the store is so massive that a few items take longer to gather than to check out.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE GOOGLE MAPS WALKING PATH TO THIS LOCATION It will take you through a quarry with an extremely convoluted unmarked path, after walking through what might have been private residential property. I had to hike back out to the main road and go to the actual entrance, which is the one marked “footpath to Ghar il-Kbir”, which while still unmarked, has cow paths that are slightly clearer, and signs part of the way up. Once you get there though, beautiful location, 4/5 stars. Just go the other way.

You'd have to be some sort of archaeology buff, or possess the third eye, to glean any sort of interest from this poorly marked and nondescript walk. We started our walk from the pleasant Buskett Woods, but due to almost non existent signposting, spent ages trying to find the way over to the caves. The official entrance takes you over nondescript terrain near an ugly modern quarry. After you scramble around for ages (no signs or markings), arguing over whether this or that is an ancient cart rut, you stumble on a few caves that have no descriptions or information to pique your interest. By that stage you'll be bored silly and thinking about lunch, so don't even bother, that's my best advice!!

Borġ In-Nadur is a small Neolithic temple located near the Gar Dalam Cave museum in Malta. While it may appear as just a pile of rocks to some, it holds great historical significance dating back to 2500 years BC. Visitors with an interest in archaeology and ancient history will find this site intriguing, especially when combined with a visit to the adjacent Ghar Dalam site.
Borġ in Nadur (Birżebbuġa, Malta) Period: Bronze Age (2500–700 BCE) – Later than Malta’s megalithic temples, but equally fascinating! Significance: Malta’s only surviving Bronze Age temple fortress , with unique defensive walls. What’s Inside Borġ in Nadur? 1. The Ruined Temple (Originally Tarxien Phase, ~3000 BCE) Four Apse Structure – Similar to Ħaġar Qim but heavily eroded. Libation Holes & Altars – Evidence of ritual use. 2. Massive Defensive Wall (Added in Bronze Age, ~1500 BCE) , 4 meter thick wall built from megalithic blocks – likely to protect against invaders. Curved design (unique in Malta) suggesting a fortified settlement. 3. Ancient Cart Ruts Mysterious parallel grooves cut into rock, possibly for transporting goods. 4. Artifact Discoveries Borġ in Nadur Pottery – Distinctive Bronze Age ceramics (now in Valletta’s National Museum). Copper tools & animal bones – Hints of early metalworking and farming Why Visit? ✅ Rare mix of temple & fortress architecture. ✅ Overlooks Marsaxlokk Bay – Stunning sea views! ✅ Less crowded than Malta’s famous temples. Visiting Info Entry: Free (open site, no tickets). Access: Short walk from Birżebbuġa (park near Pretty Bay). Nearby: Combine with Għar Dalam Cave (prehistoric fossils) or Marsaxlokk fishing village . Fun Fact: The site’s name means "Fire Fort" – possibly linked to ancient signal fires!

Sadly, this is one of the worst presented temples in Malta. However, this shouldn't chip away from its historical significance and a nice story that can be read about here. If you're visiting the Ghar'Dalam cave, this place will be included with the same ticket. I'd say it's worth taking the bus for another 2 stops until here. The little town nearby is really cool!
Sabo R — Google review
Nothing special here. It isn't a big site, but very small as in the area you could transverse around and see. I could see this site would disappoint a lot of people, but this is an historical site. If you have been here, congratulations, you have just experienced the oldest civilisation, older than Egyptian temples. This ticket was included with Ghar-Dalam, costing total €13 for 2 people. I am glad this ticket was included because the location to Ghar was not far, and Borg in-Nadur has nothing much to see. We came around 13:15 early September week, practically no one was there except for us. Would I recommend? Not really, if you have a combo ticket, you might as well visit and use your ticket. Nice selfie photo to take and show people you have visited one of the oldest monument in mankind history.

A place you can stay all day with kids, restaurant in good prices, burgers pasta sandwiches as your choice! Good service but busy so if you're hungry better look after the order closely by yourself! Many animals in good condition (can tell they are being good taken care of)! Relaxing environment

Free attraction gardens and animal park. Visit Rare gastropub for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Wonderful experience .. large place with lots of animals and birds to see. Definitely worth a visit.

I visited Montekristo recently and, unfortunately, left feeling quite disheartened. While the play area for children is surprisingly good and well-equipped, it’s hard to enjoy the visit fully when the welfare of the animals is clearly not up to standard. Many of the enclosures were visibly dirty, with multiple piles of excrement and very little sign of regular cleaning. Some of the animals, including lions and tigers, looked to be in poor health—one tiger in particular appeared severely underweight. It was also quite shocking to see them being fed what looked like dog food, which is clearly not suitable for big cats. A few animals had patchy or thinning fur, and overall the environment felt neglected. The food available for visitors didn’t help the experience either—everything we ordered was dripping in grease and not enjoyable at all. It felt like an afterthought, with low quality and little care for taste or presentation. If you’re going purely for the kids’ play area, it might be worth a quick stop. But if you care about animal welfare or are hoping for a quality day out, I’d advise looking elsewhere until real improvements are made.

I really want to love this place, but the management decisions and lack of consideration makes this really difficult. We've been here multiple times, always have some issues. Today, we were charged full price to enter the park, even though all restaurants and facilities were closed. Apparently it was "too hot" to open the restaurants today. This place has so much potential, it's really a pity.

Good location for going out, very good food with German brewery and Maltese wine distillery also very good for other festivities, I love this place.

What a fantastic venue. On daily basis I do understand that its used for different purposes however, sometimes they do host sporting/boxing events. All available on the websites where you can find all upcoming happenings. If you are lucky to attend any of those events for sure you will have a memory for life. Thanks!

Observation deck
If you walk down east from the bus stop you will see a small path leading down to the viewpoint. From there you will have a breathtaking view at the Dingli cliffs and its surrounding area.

This is probably the best place to view the cliffs that is acessible from the road. You have to walk down to the view point by the prominent rock. Still a bit disappointing compared to high expectations. Howeve nice stop if you drive by. Would not quite recommend for a standalone destination to go to.

The sunset is beautiful, just make sure you do not leave stuff in your car (even trunk) when somebody is watching… :-/

A bit disappointed. I expected better view.

This is the best view around for seeing the cliffs. Do be careful with the cliffs, not really a place for smaller kids. It is just a short walk from the road and you will have a view in both directions. There is also a small road leading down the cliff and further east towards Blue Grotto.
