Nestled in the heart of downtown Medford, the Craterian Theater at The Collier Center for the Performing Arts is a vibrant nonprofit venue that has been captivating audiences since 1924. This historic theater, with its charming vintage design and seating for 732 guests, showcases an array of performances ranging from musicals and plays to concerts and comedy acts. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations to preserve its original character while enhancing the experience for visitors.
Love the Creterian Theater! They have fabulous holiday eventa every year like the gingerbread jubilee. Bring the whole family for these amazing gingerbread houses only 3 days out of the year the week before Thanksgiving. I have been to some plays, concerts, etc. here and you'll have a great time with whatever they put on.

This was my first time going to this theater. We saw Seals and Croft 2 The parking around the theater is not bad, you can find limited free parking, however you might have to drive around once or twice or use the paid parking lots, Inside the Craterian theater is very beautiful classy and very clean. You have the options for purchase of wine or beer in their special cup, which you can bring back apparently and reuse, nice big bathrooms handicapped friendly, though we did have second row, I do not believe there is any bad seat in the attire 2 story theater. After the crowd had left, we stayed for a meet and greet. Both the singers were really lovely people. It was an awesome night inside a wonderful theater. Looking forward to the next entertainment. At the Craterian theater.

I saw hadestown teen edition here with my family and I can’t wait to come see more performances, I adore theatre!!
Rosie F — Google review
Beautiful theater in downtown Medford. I have seen several comedy shows there along with a few concerts. I would recommend for concerts that you want to sit, not a good dancing venue as is the case for many theaters. All seats are good and sound quality is nice. It is a little strange that the men’s bathroom is located upstairs.
Alex G — Google review
I really enjoy this venue. It is small & intimate. The sound is great.

Medford Railroad Park is a 49-acre outdoor train museum that celebrates the region's rich railroad history. The park features full-size cars, open-air model railroad tracks, and mini train rides, making it a perfect family-friendly attraction. Visitors can explore exhibits and displays related to trains and railroads on the 3.5-acre site, with a main draw being its collection of historic locomotives and rail cars.
Excellent place for family. You can ride a train around the park.
Marcus H — Google review
Super cute and amazing little park. Has a couple different sized trains to ride. Plenty to walk around and see. We brought our 2 year old she loved it. We got there early so parking was easy. They have a small concessions stand and snow cones. All volunteers working were so nice and friendly. Def recommend for little kids and family!
Alexis C — Google review
Absolutely incredible place! Our whole family had a great time — from the 4-year-old to the 38-year-old. It was super fun and interesting for everyone. Very clean, with a wide variety of food options. There's plenty of space to walk around, explore tons of little details, and even take a ride on the train. The volunteers are extremely friendly and kind. You can easily spend 3 to 4 hours here. A perfect outing for the whole family. It's best to arrive right when it opens so you can get parking close to the museum.
Nana Y — Google review
Very interesting place with a lot of fun and informative areas. It's run by volunteers and entry is free but donations are encouraged. There is food and drinks available to purchase and areas to sit down. There are several trains available to ride of various sizes for different ages. It's quite busy due to the limited amount of time its open to be prepared to have to park elsewhere and walk.
Chris T — Google review
Great place to go with the family. Make sure to arrive half an hour before it opens, if you want a good parking space. They have a miniature train that gives a fun ride around the park. They also sell snow cones, burgers, hot dogs and snacks very cheap.
Dave B — Google review
This place was incredible my son had a fantastic time! We rented a spot here for his third birthday and it was simply perfect. Kind staff. Wonderful accomodations. Excellent trains. Highly recommend

Our kids always love the train park. Don't forget to see the small building before entering and donate to them too.

What a magical place! Currently only open twice a month and we lucked out that we were in town at the right time. Free and run by volunteers. We loved it.

Prescott Park, located in the eastern part of Medford, is a picturesque natural area that spans 1740 acres and offers seasonal trails and lookout points. It's a popular spot for hiking and mountain biking, with both paved and unpaved trails providing opportunities for family adventures. The park also features lovely spots for picnicking and relaxing.
Great views, easy to hike trails, pet and kid friendly.

Was a nice place, clean grounds ample signage and lots of available parking. There was a bunch of poison oak encompassing the trail. However, the trails were maintained and there was no problem. Well maintained, great views of the rogue valley
Chadd F — Google review
A very curvy drive but it leads to spectacular views of the Rogue Valley. Nice parking lot at the top. Be advised that there are some minor rough spots on the road to the overlook. Easy drive up. The road and overlook close at 9PM. There are 2 gates on the road to the top. It's definitely worth the effort! There us a hiking trail that goes to the top of the mountain.
Randy B — Google review
Fantastic views. Nice assortment of trails here. Great place to get some excersize and enjoy time outdoors.
Cedar H — Google review
If you want a great view of the Rogue Valley with beautiful sunset panorama or need a brief escape and chance to get perspective, this may be the spot. While the road may not be well-maintained at the moment, just driving to the top can be part of the enjoyment. And don't forget your water and a good pair of shoes if you plan to head on the trails.
Joshua S — Google review
Definitely a must see location in southern oregon!! Paved road up to the parking lots. Nice parking lots with porta potties. Handicap parking with handicap porta potty as well, including an ADA accessible paved trail and ADA picnic bench that accommodates wheelchairs. Each trail has its own set of views, different types of trails marked well with difficulty ratings. Good trail maps with lots of trash receptacles along the service roads. Many benches with viewpoints, and picnic areas with picnic tables as well. Sights of deer, birds, squirrels, lizards and butterflies when we visited during May. Snakes are present so be cautious in the hotter months! Always bring your own water for a hike, and enjoy!
K. M — Google review
Excellent trails for hiking, biking, walking, running with good views of the rogue valley. Best sunset spot in or around Medford
Seth R — Google review
It's been years since I had a chance to visit, and I'm so glad I did. We were able to drive up through the first gate and park in the parking lot. I only wish I could have stuck around and explore the trails. Also, if you can make it up on a foggy morning, it's absolutely ethereal to stand between the fog and the clouds. Highly recommend.

Crater rock museum review Great and friendly helpful staff! Loved digging in the quarry for rocks with my three year old. Inside the museum the amazing part was finding actual dinosaur bones and coprolite here as a surprise bonus which my child is super excited about. I loved most the UV room showing how different rocks fluoresce. Even if you don’t go into the museum the gift shop alone is worth stopping for. I’m looking forward to taking a lapidary workshop next!
Nick B — Google review
This is a very small part of what they display. There is geology and artifacts of every kind here. I was able to donate the calcite stalagmite in the pictures and can't wait to see it displayed. There's are also gifts to purchase. Check it out. You won't be dissapointed.
Larry C — Google review
This place was amazing. I had no idea the extensive amount of precious stones and minerals from all around the world. It's been around for 71 years (I believe) and it is amazing. I went in with my kids for a school field trip and I want to go back on my own so I can really read and enjoy the exhibits. What an awesome diamond, right here in Central Point. Thanks again!
Jessica G — Google review
A hidden "gem" in Central Point. I have been coming here for over 45 years. It is amazing. Fossils, gems, minerals and more! One of my favorite places
Jake J — Google review
Randomly driving by this , we decided to stop. It was a fantastic museum that we spent about an hour in. It is 8000 sq ft totally packed with rocks, gems, fossils, dinosaur bones, Indian pottery, arrows -found on the Oregon trail, ancient tools, scrimshaw on ivory and bones and it even has real hair from a mammoth! I loved this stop
Kristal M — Google review
The museum was nice, $7 per person. Basically like a giant rock collection. We also chose to do some sleucing but that was very awkward, we basically handed the guy the bag and he dumped it in for me and then stood there telling me how to do it even after I said I've done it before at other places... Super awkward. I would have preferred to dump my own bag in and just stood and enjoyed the experience. Otherwise it was only $8 for sleucing so I can't complain. Good selection of gemstones but a bit overpriced because it's a tourist location.
Brooke H — Google review
The Crater Rock Museum is really cool, they have lots of amazing and interesting exhibits. Mother nature is amazing and this place has so many different kinds of rocks and formations along with hand made item from various stones & rocks. You enter through the gift shop (lot of neat things to see in there too) then you pay to enter the museum. They give you a map so you can take your time walking around all the rooms. Cost $14 for 2 people. WELL WORTH IT! We spent over an hour here. Parking if free, they have a small parking lot. But we did see a Class a RV parked there.

EdenVale Winery is a premier winery in the Rogue Valley, known for its handcrafted wines that capture the region's rich earthiness. The winery offers a diverse range of wines, including Pinot Noir, Malbec, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier.
We booked our wedding at Edenvale, and it was the best decision we made. Not only is the setting naturally stunning, but the entire staff at the venue is so warm and genuine. Shannon, the coordinator, is exceptional and extremely organized. She thought of everything and ensured our day was exactly as we imagined. The venue was able to accommodate our large wedding (185 guests) with ease and provided their beautiful indoor space for our wedding parties to get ready and relax during the day. The best part about this venue is that they allow music until 11pm! This is hard to find in the valley due to noise restriction laws. Service was top notch and everything went off without a hitch. Thank you Edenvale for making our day so special!
Katie P — Google review
Highly recommend stopping here for a tasting. Good wines ages much longer than offerings from other wineries in the area. Tasting room is quaint with nice atmosphere. Lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the demonstration vineyard. Very tasty charcuterie tray. We enjoyed the regular tasting flight and the all red tasting flight. Taja was awesome!

Hi, my name is Luke and I am 12 years old and I liked the shark pallet with cheese and cheddar cheese and thought it was a great meal. Definitely go here again five stars.
Libby F — Google review
We visited Edenvale Winery on our way from Oregon to California. I cannot recommend a stop at this exceptional winery enough. The wine (especially the amazing chilled Grenache) and Petite Syrah ) and charcuterie board were sensational. I cannot thank the wine tasting staff ( Marty and Taja ) enough for their professionalism and great personalities. Do not miss this experience. The grounds are beautiful and if you are a Harvest Host fan looking for unique lovely place to stay in a Sprinter, it is a great place to be!!! Moreover, I cannot thank the staff for their generous hospitality and care. Five star all around.
Jennifer P — Google review
Coming all the way from NJ, I had no idea how amazing Oregon wine country was. Marty made our experience here informed and enjoyable. I can’t get over the views of the outdoor tasting rooms. Currently on a national park trip and this place tops the experiences so far. Favorite wines were the rose and Grenache, both different and exquisite.
Gabriela R — Google review
Worst experience ever!!! First off, the winery is filthy!!! The seating areas outside are dirty and the grounds are not at all inviting, as so many other great wineries in the valley. The gal tried to swindle me into paying for a glass of Chardonnay that she replaced my Pinot Noir with, after having had one sip and sending it back. I explained that it tasted bad. The Pinot Noir was horrible!! It smelled bad and tasted even worse. I had already paid for it, so obviously she should have provided me with a glass of Chardonnay without charge. The gal was rude and disrespectful toward me. She came outside to collect payment and to tell me there was nothing wrong with the Pinot so she was collecting payment for the Chardonnay. I have never experienced service like this. Embarrassing! Two thumbs down straight across the board. There are so many wonderful wineries around here, don't waste your time at this place. Their wine is horrible and they obviously don't know how to train their team.
Debra M — Google review
Unique delicious wines, pear & “CranPerry” ciders were great, and a fabulous charcuterie board with all the fixin’s. Beautiful views and we enjoyed walking through the beginnings of this year’s vegetable garden. Great spot for an afternoon with the family!
Laura R — Google review
I always have a great experience when at Eden Vale. The service, environment, and wine always have me wanting more. I’ve had events on their beautiful property, and just go there to hang out. It truly is my happy place.

Hands down the best park we have enjoyed. Fun for everyone here. Our dog enjoyed it just as much as we did. Over 20 miles long and so much beauty all around. Everyone should stop at this park and see what it has to offer. Fun for families and tons of neat fun things for the children to enjoy. Nature all around and the pine cones here are huge....had to bring a few back with me. I was amazed to see what the playground for the children looked like. I wish I got to enjoy this as a child. I enjoyed the flowers grown here just as much as each step we took we saw something new and neat. This will be a stop every time we head to Oregon.

Went to see WITCH with a friend on the 26th, and I was blown away, esp by the devil. (Lower case because he wasn't the big, bad guy) It's taken me several days to recoup. There were a number of ways the role could have gone that would have been just fine. I don't know who decided to do it the way it was presented but it was brilliant (I guess. ) The last 10-15 min the actor slowly shifted and approached the audience as he spoke. I have no idea what he said anymore but the feeling it inspired lingers. He was a lost soul, and there was no hope, no escape, no nothing.......nothing..... And then the lights came up ... I was still transfixed, and it's a good thing I wasn't driving. Susan Knapp

I must first off start this by saying I have digestive issues un figured out by my Dr. I am on a serious elimination diet currently for it but still sometimes episodes hit me and I have to go NOW! My husband picked a play at this theatre called The Lion In Winter as a family activity. Our 3 teenage daughters and us were very excited. When we arrived at the theater, we learned quickly that they don't accommodate disabled people as I am currently on a knee scooter for a foot injury. Ok I can hobble slightly and was told they will take the scooter and put it "somewhere safe." During the second to last act of the first half, my digestive system started in and I needed to use the restroom... NOW. So I quietly excused myself and hobbled as quickly and quietly as I could to the restroom. Including closing the theater doors as quietly as I could. After going to the restroom I was met in the hallway and admonished for using the restroom! I was told that I had disrupted the play for everyone and crawling over people in the dark was dangerous! I apologized profusely and quietly said that I have digestive issues to which I was told that maybe a play wasn't for me. Then I was told that I am lucky an isle seat is open because that was the only way I could watch the rest of the first half and I would not be allowed to sit with my family! About 10 min later the first half finished and I decided to leave. I would have too much anxiety worrying that I couldn't go to the restroom and would have an accident so I decided to leave all together. My family followed. The acting was great, the set was beautiful, but this isn't a friendly place and I won't be going back. EDIT*** First off why in the world would I admit on a Google review that I have digestive issues? Also why was I met in the hallway as I came out the restroom and informed that I could not go back to my family? I asked and as crazy as it sounds, the people the I went by to get to the restroom was my own family and 1 other person seated at the end. Are your rows not accommodating for people to get up if they have to? Also why when I came in on my knee scooter was I not asked if accommodations should be made? Where was my scooter even put? I did not have access to it when I went to the restroom nor upon my return. Yes I was told that the play might not be the best for me because of my digestive issues. I am sorry if I disrupted the other people attending the play as that was never my intention but I think having an accident in the seat would have been a much worse disruption to the people attending. I personally have attended many plays and have never been treated like this to the point I left the play after deciding that I was humiliated and treated very poorly. It's too bad because the rest of the people who were putting on this play were fantastic and I feel sorry for them if you are the one representing them.

AI generated art? Are you serious? You claim to support local artists and you can’t get someone to create an image for you, much less find something online? This is atrocious and I hope you reconsider where you cut your costs.

What a great theater group. We saw Sherlock Holmes, the production was well thought out and very entertaining. The theater itself was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Charles M — Google review
First time here and it was a bit difficult to tell what it would be like from the reviews. The place was clean, well decorated with art and play info and presented an elegant atmosphere. The theater itself was on the smaller side but plenty of room in seating. You are quite close to the stage in a positive way. Acoustics were great and had no trouble hearing. Small vendor for basic snacks and coffee. They sell tickets online or at the door. I did not buy online as there were a bunch of seats available early in the day but the play was pretty full. Acting and presentation was very professional. Highly recommend!

The flagship store offers gourmet foods, chocolates, and gifts, with the popular Moose Munch popcorn being a must-try treat. Visitors can sample gourmet treats, browse unique gift items, and learn about the company's history. The village also features various shops offering local produce and hard-to-find items.
I recommend the tour! We had a delightful visit and learned about the company history, passion for their products and how they care for their employees. I was surprised to learn they own their orchards and make many of their products in house. Plus samples!

I have been a loyal customer of Harry and David since my Grandmother was alive. It was family tradition to send Maverick Pears to her, and my Aunt. Then they would do the same. So I know that their products were once quality and was excited to show my cousin the store in Medford. He had never been there nor heard of Harry and David. Well more forward about 40 years and the quality of the fruit at least has dropped dramatically. I was in Medford from Brookings, OR recently and saw some "Gift Peaches" that were only $4.00 a box and beautifully presented. What an amazing deal I thought. I purchased a box for myself and one as a special gift for my neighbors. They looked so beautiful. Unfortunately, they were actually inedible! I tried to ripen them on my counter for two days as they were hard as rocks. But rather than ripen they rotted. So I then tried to ripen them in my fridge. Same thing happened. They rotted and were not only not good but they could not be eaten. I had to toss them out. I was mortified that I had gifted these peaches to my neighbors so I went over and apologized to them for giving them such truly awful fruit. Before I could apologize my neighbor said their peaches also rotted. When I called the store to complain (first complaint in over 40 years) I was told that "stone fruits are iffy this time of year". Well if they are iffy then why did you sell them? Could you not take one peach out and attempt to ripen them and see the results. I am truly disappointed in Harry and David and more so the response that buying their stone fruits this time of year was "iffy". They were kind enough to credit me the $8.00. It wasn't the cost that upset me as they were very, very cheap but the fact that these peaches while gorgeous in the box could not be salvaged in any manner to eat them. And that Harry and David would sell "iffy" products. My Grandmother used to count on the quality of your products and felt so special to be able to gift your pears and be able to afford your pears on a widow's pension with eleven children. Edit: They did eventually refund my $8.00 which i appreciated.

Peachaplooza August 2025. Harry & David had plenty of peaches to go around at $0.49 a pound. Peaches were in large containers on the ground and shallow so the fruit wasnt getting crushed/ bruised from the weight of the pile. Definetly bring your own containers for what you select. If you have something with wheels to put the containers in even better since there was a bit of a line to get the peaches weighed. Lastly you have to wait in a second line inside the physical store to pay. We'll organized and the lines weren't to bad considering how many people were there. Well worth the trip.

Would recommend touring the bakery and candy factory. You get a first person view of everything being made, such as Moose Munch and gift baskets. Price per person is very low in the $5 range. Comes with a small sample.

Plenty of things in this store to keep you engaged. Their fresh fruit is sometimes priced much better than the local supermarkets. The variety of items from local producers to hard to find items makes this county store worth visiting. Each time I visit, the employees have been very kind, helpful and welcoming. Have gone on the H&D Tour twice and that's another must-do. Nice look into the inner workings of what makes H&D special.

After placing an order, I received the first box containing 2 of the 7 items I ordered. The dry ice was gone and the frozen foods were room temperature. They did immediately replace those items. After a month went by, I still had not received the rest of my order. I go to their online chat and am informed the items will be delivered over the next several months, the last one not arriving til mid Nov. (order placed in June). I should not have to have a running calendar for 4 months to receive a single order. Not to mention the time I am wasting having to continually follow up on my order.

Always such a delightful, cheery, holiday experience. Couldn't complete the festive holidays without Harry & David. Every gift you could ever want for family friends and loved ones. Worth the trip every year, looking forward to it now.

I placed an order on Nov 1 and specified a delivery around Nov 17. It was a birthday gift. The item shipped on Nov 3 and was delivered on Nov 5. Why do they let you specify a delivery date and then ignore it. I was not happy that my friend received the gift almost 2 weeks in advance. Lesson learned!

Rogue Creamery, located in Central Point, has been producing artisan cheeses since 1933. The founder, Tom Vella, brought mold, cultures, and recipes from Roquefort, France to the creamery. Visitors can explore the specialty cheese shop and inquire about artisan cheeses, recipes, and pairings. Additionally, they offer an educational DVD tour of the creamery and a glimpse into the factory.
Rogue Creamery produces so many delicious cheeses, especially their famous blue cheese. I've been a member of their cheese club for a few years now and it was an excellent purchase. I always look forward to their carefully curated boxes every few months with a variety of different cheeses and other delicious treats. Visiting their tasting room in Central Point is a must stop for cheese lovers. The customer service is always prompt and friendly as well.

SAY CHEEEEESE!…. Rogue Creamery definitely brings on the smiles. Their blue cheese was the smoothest I’ve ever tried! And their grilled cheese sandwiches were amazing! Staff is friendly and delightful to be around. Lots of jams and other yummy foodstuff…the hot honey and dried pears fabulously complimented the cheese we bought.

I am so glad we made a stop on our way to Crater Lake! Staff were all so kind and the the sandwich was so crunchy and melty. We ordered the mustard pickle and the classic with tomato soups (so refreshing and superior taste and texture!). Fueled our jet-lagged stomaches and spirit for the day. Thank you so much for the quality and care! Didn't have time to try their cheeses this time but we were definitely curious and will keep an eye out for them! It was fun to browse around the shop while waiting. They even offered our pup a little treat! Highly recommend!!

My husband LOVES blue cheese, and I wanted to get him something special for his birthday this year. Since you can't schedule an order online, I called the creamery to arrange for the gift for him. The woman who worked with me (Sue perhaps?) was kind, professional, and made me feel like I was at the store in person placing the order! She took my payment over the phone and I had the order confirmation via email the same day. Fast forward about two months. The cheese arrived right on time, beautifully packaged and including not only the cheese I'd ordered but also a sample of another cheese, instructions on how to preserve the cheese, suggestions for complementary pairings, a message wishing my husband a happy birthday, and some promotional goodies!! This was above and beyond expectations and I couldn't have asked for a nicer gift or presentation. He's going to try the cheese in a few days after we gather some of the suggested charcuterie things, and I'm sure he'll absolutely love it! HUGE thanks to Rogue Creamery, and y'all, I highly recommend checking them out and placing your order today!

The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for gatherings. The building used to be a new car showroom, adding to its unique charm. Visitors can enjoy an upmarket menu of American bar eats while taking in the natural lighting through the windows. The brewery also features an outdoor bar and plenty of seating with activities like corn hole available.
We had a delightful experience! Our family want for an early dinner and were seated immediately. Started off with a pretzel with a tasty cheese sauce. Pizza was delicious (crust was more of a baking soda risen vs yeasty), burger was on point (maybe could have been improved if the bun was toasted), chicken on the Caesar salad was super juicy and salads were fresh. The brownie dessert was classic and well done. I had a strawberry basil sour, which was very lemon forward. The beers were great too. I really appreciated the converted space in the historic building. Would recommend and would go again!

Great beer. Good food. Good service. Our first time there and did not realize it is one of them places you gotta scan a code on the table to order food. You can also order at a counter though. Our small group had beer, cocktails, pretzel, sweet potato fries (surprisingly crispy), pizza and sandwich. All pretty good and out pretty fast.
Reuben R — Google review
Pretty cool place that is fully sprinkled. We had the cheese curds and pretzel to start. They were both delicious. The cheese curds were crispy but didn't seem over fried. I had the Modern Cowboy with Buffalo. The burger was cooked to perfection and had a good taste. The fries had the perfect crispy outside and soft inside. My wife had the nachos. They were good, but there are better options.

I don’t understand ppl complaining about kids running around…kids are allowed. I go elsewhere when I want just adults but expect it here. Also, if you don’t like QR Codes, go elsewhere instead of complaining. Love the beer, food is great and their seasonal offerings along with hat giveaways are fantastic! Glad they are here and hopeful they stay!

We had the cheese curd appetizer which was yummy. Pizza with basaltic glaze, pears, and award winning Rogue River blue cheese was excellent. Burgers and sweet potato fries were great as well as the dipping sauces. The chicken tacos were really good as well. Food was above and beyond what a typical brewery would offer. Great beer selection too. * edit after my 2nd time i came back 2 years later and I still failed to get a cheese curd pic because they are too good. Everything is good. Pear pizza is amazing and so was the Mac n cheese grilled cheese and sweet potato fries with the aioli. They have local soda pops on tap too!!!

Stopped here on the way down to California! Really cool place and with yummy food. It is typical bar food like pizza, burgers, etc. but it was exactly what we were looking for and it hit the spot! I recommend the Cobb Salad - it was refreshing and filling and came with plenty protein and veggies. It was super hot out but we got to still enjoy the weather under a shaded tent. They have a cool shipping container where they serve beer from. We ordered through a QR code so it was simple and honestly the thing was a breeze. Would come again.

Block burger is excellent. Salmon salad had great salmon. Could have used a little more cheese and kalamata olives. Love the porter. If I ever return I won't tip though. Using QR ordering means they want you to tip upfront before you know if the experience will warrant a generous tip. The food was great the food delivery was fine. However, when food was delivered they never removed a single empty dish or glass. No one ever stopped to check on us. Is this normal for QR service?

Library
The Jackson County Library Services - Medford, also known as the Medford Branch, is part of a larger library system serving over 200,000 residents and visitors. The library offers a wide range of literary materials including books, magazines, multimedia, and newspapers. It features study rooms and community meeting spaces and hosts educational programs for all ages such as book talks, symposiums, art exhibits, classes, book groups, and storytelling.
Really big library. Really nice space. Clean inside. Lots of tables for reading. Lots of outlets for charging your phone. There's a garden in the back. And separate reading spaces for Teens and Kids, away from the adults. Large selection of Children's books. We would have liked more kid's graphic novels, but you can order from other libraries. Only warning for parents is that there was a sketchy young lady doing questionable things in the bathroom stall, dropped a lighter when we walked in and then hurried out. I wouldn't let my kid go to the bathroom alone here. But I understand how difficult it is to monitor everyone that goes in a public bathroom in a public space, so I don't blame the library or the staff. It looks like they really try to keep it clean and safe.
Chastity W — Google review
When in there to work and use the computer, and was harassed by two homeless guys who had nothing else better to do. The library staff is so desensitized to these people, they just sit there and do nothing. Do not even think about bringing family and kids there, and if you do, you better stay on the first floor. I will be going to the White City library from now on.

Best Kids Attraction in all of Southern Oregon!! The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon ranks at the very top of my list of things for kids to do in all of Southern Oregon. You can purchase admission for the day or buy one of their membership options. For our family, it breaks down to around $10 monthly for a full price family membership. They also offer scholarships for memberships to those who qualify which make it extremely affordable. They have special programs throughout the week that are included with the membership. They’re open every day but Monday. The outdoor area is open year round except in extreme weather/ smoke / heat. As of Fall 2024, there are currently 3 sections to the museum: inside exhibits, outdoor adventure area, and the annex across the street. I’ll briefly highlight what each section offers. Inside exhibits include: farm to table, kitchen, doctor and dentist office, ambulance, nursery, climbing wall, animal hospital, construction zone, water table, light exhibit, sound exhibit, makery art studio, dance / theatre exhibit, and a separate enclosed play area for kids under 3. Each exhibit offers many open ended play opportunities and has books on each subject. Outdoor adventure area: this exhibit opened in fall 2023. It includes: a large sandy beach play area, a working stream meant for children to play in, a race track with bikes and trikes, a camping area, a musical instrument garden, a large climbing hill with built in Amphitheatre seating, lots of climbing areas, and a large acorn shaped play structure. The annex across the street has a kids culinary studio and a kids pottery studio. You can purchase bisque ware to glaze for an additional fee. There’s so much to do that often we only explore one of the 3 areas for our visit. You can easily spend the entire day there. If you’re moving to southern Oregon, I highly recommend getting a membership and going often. And if you’re visiting the area with your kids, be sure to budget at least a few hours to visit.

Such a magical place for children of all abilities to come, learn, and be in a safe environment. My kids especially love the dragon with teeth, so at the "dentist office" they can practice brushing its teeth. Just a great place to spend a few hours. PS. Please invite the symphony back. 🙏

The Children's Museum of Southern Oregon is fantastic! There's fun for all ages starting from crawling babies and up. Each station and activity are thoughtfully designed to teach children about the world, sensory play, arts, STEM and more! There is way more to explore and play with than can be covered in one visit, especially since everything is oriented around open-ended play.

Kaleidoscope Pizzeria & Pub is a vibrant and spacious restaurant and bar in Medford, known for its Grateful Dead-themed art and lively atmosphere. The locally-owned establishment offers a warm and welcoming setting to enjoy handcrafted, wood-fired pizzas, local craft beers, and casual wines.
Parking lot was packed but there were still tables available and without a wait. The inside has unique decorations and light features. Lots of options on the menu including soups and salads, although they do not offer mini pizzas. We shared a Tablerock pizza and a Wedge salad. Both were delicious. Would come back to try more options.

Superior hospitality. Counted 6 employees who said hello and / or made eye contact and smiled. Friendly bar tender was my server tonight. Had a salad, roasted garlic and the Peter Griffin Pizza. Very tasty and filling. Would definitely dine here with my family or colleagues. Ranch had too much dill for my tastes but good nonetheless. Large restaurant with an even larger parking lot.

All I can say is wow! How come it took us so long to try Kaleidoscope. Absolutely amazing food, the service was the best. The outdoor seating was perfect. We got the Ashland pizza cut in big slices. Oh my!! I got a side of their pesto for my pizza. Really the best pesto ever. Also got this beautiful salad and you can't go wrong with a little dessert. Yum yum yum!! We are going to be back for sure. We got the pulled pork nachos and a calzon for a to go. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic place. The crust tastes like a fresh, soft, saltine! We added green onions to our half and half enchilada and Thai chicken pizza. Totally delicious. And our awesome server, Alicia was right about everything. Our Bloody Mary's, the hummus, the jalapeno poppers, all excellent.

Definitely a Southern Oregon gem! I've been going here for what seems like over 20 years. I don't dine out in the restaurant much anymore ever since they opened the to-go portion, but the last few times the service has been pretty mediocre (to be clear, the to-go service is always great). The restaurant service now seems curt and less than attentive. It's like they are annoyed you've decided to dine in or something. I'm pretty sure I recognize at least one of them from years earlier so it's apparent the owners do not care how their staff interact with people (maybe they are family?). The people who greet you, those at the bar, and the staff that do the take-out if you order before 4pm within the main restaurant have always been great, it's only some of the people waiting tables. Food has always been amazing and 100% consistent. Their salads are legendary and those mozzarella breadsticks are to die for. I wish they could do something about the sound level and add some more dampening. If you go during normal eating hours you will have to yell at the person across the table to carry on a conversation. It has always been this way though ever since they opened.
Jason S — Google review
In town on a work trip and stopped by on a friend's recommendation. Oh my, that pizza is tasty! Pepperoni and mushroom. 10inch perfect size. The sauce is great, high quality ingredients. This visit was worth it. Next time I am in town for a hockey tourney we will be stopping by.

We’ve absolutely love Kaleidoscope Pizzeria since it opened in 2004 and have been loyal customers ever since. The food and staff have always been exceptional — until our visit last night. Our server, Kendall S., was unfortunately the most unfriendly server we’ve ever had there. From the start, she made us feel like an inconvenience. We were seated for about 15 minutes before she even stopped by our table. She barely spoke to us, never asked how our food was, if we needed anything else, or if we’d like another drink. She didn’t smile once, and each time we requested something, it felt as though we were bothering her. We would say thank you and she would say nothing and just walk away. It wasn’t just our table either — we noticed the same behavior with other guests around us. This review is a one-star solely because of the poor service she provided to us and others.
J — Google review
This is my first time coming to this restaurant and they left a great impression on me. My group of people, made reservations and when we arrive reservation time they had everything already, and our hostess was also our server. She was amazing. She took all of her orders, and they get all her drinks over food to us in a timely manner. I ordered the American beauty pizza extra large. The pizza was delicious. It had Italian sausage with pepperoni and mushrooms. It was not super greasy, the pizza was on the thin side of crust, so it was a little hard to eat with your hands but that’s what made the pizza unique. The smell and taste of the crust remind me of different different restaurants mix into one which was good memories If you are ever in town and want to have some pizza, this place is a good place to go to

The charcuterie board the prosciutto everything. I love the attention that every customer got, and on top of all of it just being able to wander around with the glass of wine was exactly what I wanted to do. My friend highly encouraged this place. On my way down to Medford. I had completely forgotten the name and one of my friends who is a local actually said that if my other friend wouldn’t respond, we should just go here. Turns out it was the same place and they both recommended it not a coincidence. More of a god moment,

I made a reservation for 10 in March, confirmed it the day before coming, and when we showed up 10 min early the guy in a t-shirt behind the bar said weren't in the books. While that ended up not being an issue (they were empty), it was not a great start. The pours were enormous but the wine was bad. They had shuffleboard, board games, food carts, and a coffee shop. The old barn was the best part of the visit. I know palates differ, but the wines were over oaked, heavy handed, and low quality. I dumped most of each tasting, as did many in my group. The unanimous least favorite wine tasting of the 6 we visited in the Rougue Valley / Applegate Valley.

What can I say about RoxyAnn that you don't already know. Great atmosphere, great service, and parking is easy. PLUS... their wines are delicious. The petite syrah is definitely my favorite!!! I love the history of the property and the fact that you can take your dogs and kids and enjoy wine and the world's best blue cheese (by Rogue Creamery) under the covered patio. The big grass area is a plus for us especially when the sun is out. Being a party rental company who runs our business out of our home office, I wasn't sure where to host my Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony and RoxyAnn was the perfect spot for us to celebrate. They were so accommodating! Thank you so much to the staff for always making us feel important and comfortable. Great wines and great staff.

My husband and I drove 2 hours out of the way to try their wine. We are from out of state and we were on a road trip. After reading the reviews, I suggested this winery for a nice relaxing tasting. Once we arrived were were notified that it was self-served. Okay, interesting. We were starving and wanted a beautiful meal with nice wine. We were notified that they do not have a kitchen but serve cold cuts and cheese. We bought some Gouda, whole baguette, and a spread. To my surprise, we had to cut the hard baguette on our own and the cheese with a plastic knife. After struggling to cut the bread. I asked, if I could have a better knife to cut it. It was provided. The bread was too hard to eat so I asked if it was possible to warm it up. It was tossed in a toaster and I had to get out. All in all, this was a different tasting. Having paper plates and plastic knives to cut your own bread is not ideal. My husband and I did not like any of the 5 wines we tried, which added to the burn. The staff asked us how was the wine. We told them we didn’t like any of them. They didn’t offer any additional recommendations. We realized, if we rushed out of RoxyAnn — we could make it to a different winery. So we paid and left as soon as possible. I’m glad we did.

Three of us went here for a beer and a good time. Although I have been here many times through the years today is the first time that the people working there were terrible. Until I hear there are are changes I will direct people I know to a friendlier winery.

We Took a friend on the way home from the airport for a quick stop to grab some wine and food from the barbecue place.. The person pouring, the tasting was extremely abrasive and very stingy with pours. In spite of this, we wanted to purchase some wine and to make our decisions, we asked to revisit or taste one additional one to compare it. We were charged three dollars for an additional taste, I find that a little bit odd since many other wineries in the area and in the Applegate do not charge for revisits and they offer To have you taste something else to see if you like it if you Are expressing interest in purchasing wine. We also wanted to taste tempranillo but they refused to open a bottle to let us taste because they wanted you only to drink what they had open. Which is understandable, except odd on a Friday afternoon, where most likely people would be glad to do tastings and finish the bottle. Needless to say we bought no red wine, only a few bottles of white, which we were taking to a friend in Seattle in the following days. The wine is good, but the person helping us treated us like children saying she needed to be in the driver seat when we asked questions since we had not been there for quite some time.. She then proceeded to try and pick the wines of what she had opened that we should taste even if we didn’t really want to taste those ones and then was a little disgruntled when we ask her to pour us something other than what she had written down that she thought we should drink, and then made the remark. I thought I was in the drivers seat. Who are wine club members at different wineries here in Napa Valley and Amador County and Temecula so we do know our way around the wine scene. I’m just still flustered about the person behind the bar being so rude to us.. ,

A friend and I stopped at the wine tasting room. There was a male associate talking to a girl behind the counter they both ignored us. By the time they decided maybe we should wait on them the girl behind the counter knew nothing about wine. The service and wine was horrible would not recommend Roxy Ann to anybody.

Padigan is a fantastic winery known for its super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visitors praise the elegant, light, and dry rose with a citrus tinge. The winery offers an amazing tasting experience with delicious food options such as baked brie, smoked salmon, and local chocolate. The staff is highly recommended for their assistance in guiding visitors through the tasting journey.
Great outdoor seating not too hot for a 90° day. Always amazing wine and the arugula and fig n bacon flat bread was awesome

The wine was good, as was the bread and hummus board, but we waited about 10 minutes after arriving before anyone talked to us at all. It seemed like there was one waitress doing all the work while a woman in yoga pants hung out behind the bar not helping anyone. Once we got sat though, everything was great.

The best winery food we've had on this trip. The baked brie and smoked salmon were delicious. The local chocolate for dessert was the icing on the cake. Staff was amazing and helped us along our tasting journey with other wines we may like. Suggested by other wineries and can't recommend enough!

We couldn't be happier as wine club members at Padigan. The service is always excellent, the views are beautiful and the wines are always on point. The inside of the winery is beautiful as it was built with all reclaimed materials. The outside has many great options, depending on the weather with some excellent views of Mt. Ashland and the entire valley. In addition to some excellent wines there's also a variety of great smelling candles to take home with you.
Andrew L — Google review
Great atmosphere and location. Good wine but the food is a bit sub par. Also not stoked on this being the priciest glass of wine in the valley by far. We go to a lot of different wineries but $13-$15 for a glass is just nutty. We had a flatbread that was either undercooked from frozen, or if it was made in house, it was made cheaply. Fiance and I were nauseous the rest of the night afterwards and generally don't get impacted by food very easily. Additionally, for 20$ it was a ridiculous size. Significantly smaller than a dinner plate. I'll happily get wine here again, but I'll definitely be getting food somewhere else first.

My sister and I stopped by 2Hawk during our layover in Medford. Our wonderful hotel recommended it and shuttled us over! Immediately, the tasting room is beautiful and modern rustic. So perfect for the holidays. They sell candles by the name of wine but they smells are very classic scents. Chardonnay was the best smelling for me. Sweet& spicy. Other merch includes hats, and wine glasses. Our waitress Taneil(I’m probably spelling it wrong, sorry) was very welcoming and gave thorough descriptions! She let us know that Pinot noir is their most popular wine but my favorite was their rosè. It’s a dark colored and full bodied sparkling rose. Very unique. The artichoke dip is so yummy and perfect to accompany a tasting between two people. Since we each got the same “exploratory” tasting menu, they came in mini carafes which we poured ourselves into wine glasses. During our visit, one of their members, Charles treated us to our wine. Thanks again! We would definitely return!

The Village at Medford Center is a great place to catch a movie and grab a bite to eat. Tinseltown offers a unique walk-in movie theater experience with clean facilities, ample parking, and the option to purchase tickets in advance. While the food prices may be on the higher side, it's convenient for locals. Firehouse Subs provides an inviting atmosphere and delicious sandwiches that exceed expectations. The friendly staff adds to the enjoyable dining experience.
I’m visiting from Texas and this was my first time there. It was amazing really nice experience! The chairs lean back and they’re very comfortable! The ticket pricing is reasonable. The restrooms were clean. Overall it was a good experience!

My experience started with the directory that is almost impossible to read. Nothing exciting - just a few large chains like the max, Burlington, Dress for less. Lightning could help to make this place more attractive - plus additional shops….

The only thing in it is the movie theater wich that's great but there's a gym with nothing but windows and some restaurant and an ice cream shop?? No casual food spots or quick food thank GOD the movie theater started serving chicken tenders and fries

I am so excited to see how fabulous this property has become over the past 5 years with the addition of world class acts like Tap &Vine, Butterfly Club, Collaborative Theatre, and so many more. Unlike so many other large lifestyle centers, the owners are local, hands on and truly care about making this something the Rogue Valley is proud to call their own.

Update: 5/19/22 We enjoyed a staff lunch here today and it was just perfect. So nice to be outside on the patio with such a beautiful view. High quality food, great customer service and an enjoyable experience all the way around. Can't wait to come back again soon! What a lovely setting, beautiful hillside view overlooking their garden and a pond in the distance. Great little set-up. Seems like a best kept secret. We were the only one's there, but they offered a nice little lunch menu with choices of cold sandwiches or hot paninis. Both were good! Salads too. They have pizzas and soups available for dinner, so we will come back to check those out. They have a tasting room and a nice selection of wine as well as a number of non-alcoholic drinks. They also have a fresh veggie honor barn where you can buy fresh vegetables from refrigerated doors. Very nice! They actually have a very large restaurant area and that expands onto a nice oversized patio too. It is very casual. Great location, plenty of parking and overflow parking for events. Check it out if you have time. Their fresh home grown veggies are super yummy.

Looking for a peaceful, beautiful, winery in a rural setting? This is it. Indoor and outdoor seating with excellent views of a picturesque landscape and wildlife, including a pond. Great park with lots to do. Basketball hoops, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball, and slack line area. There's a playground that includes an all abilities play structure and two great running/walking path that is .75 and .83 miles with benches all along the way.. They also have several covered picnic areas for small and large parties. A beautiful park that we are so happy to have in Medford.

I absolutely love this park. There are so many options and spaces that are for different activities with disability accessible facilities, wide pathways, large picnic areas, and playgrounds, which i think is super fantastic. The playground features a special soft but firm sponge like flooring in the specially designed wheelchair accessible portion of the playground. They have really made an effort to make this park accessible to all children. Children who are not necessarily mobility challenged but who may fall on spectrum seem to really enjoy the spinning apple and texture of the playmat flooring. (I've met several Spectrum parents sharing with their children the space as i am sharing with mine. The journeys and adventures they go on at this park are truly special. Main playground features several slides and various vertical bars/monkey bar style sections with platforms. There is a Free Book donation stand but it rarely has books. I try and bring some books to share when I can. The picnic seating area is well sized and I've frequently seen large events celebrated here. There are also parl specific community events like Easter egg hunts that are wonderful to participate in.

We love the path everyone's we come. My kids and my sister's kids loved the splash pad and okay ground. It's like a blast to the past for us as the park was named after our great great grandpa, it just makes for a very cool family history lesson for the kids and ourselves. The park was clean and very family friendly. There were a few homeless guys but they never bothered us or anyone. I would recommend you go to this park if your looking for good family friendly things to do.

Nice location. Kind staff. Good coffee. Stopped in and tried the carrot cake latte. It was very good and not overly sweet. Ended up picking up beans to turn into cold brew later. Highly suggest checking this place out. Plus easy parking up front. If you twisted my arm and said I had to find a complaint. I would say it seemed like they were having some kind of staff meeting this morning. Had many team members there and the place was pretty empty. But yet tables were dirty and dishes were piling up.

Loved Forage Coffee Company! Located in a converted gas station, it’s light and bright with indoor and outdoor seating options. I had the seasonal Root Beer Float cold brew and loved it so much I came back for another 2 days later. Others in my group got lattes they both enjoyed. The raspberry bran muffin (note it’s really a raspberry jam bran muffin) was tasty and I recommend having it warm. The avocado toast was also high quality. The only bummer was that they didn’t have any merchandise except for one tumbler with the cute raccoon logo!

My first time here. Good food, Good coffee & served with a trough of pretentiousness. Or - is it lazy confidence? Even though I announced that we had not been here before, there was zero communication about whether I would get my coffee with the avacadoe toast I ordered. So, my drink sat on a counter while I wondered. When I finally decided to approach the counter, I asked the haughty barista babe, "Is this my coffee?" She responded in a manner that only someone with an insulated sense of coffee-culture does. When I informed her that I couldn't hear her from where I was sitting and wasn't informed where it would be, she still reacted as though she had just been stung by a wasp. There wasn't even an offer to make me a hot one. Then my mother's order was forgotten because she hadn't communicated to the cook. While there was an apology from the cook - I would rather spend my time and my money on listening to a country western song, while I cover myself in insect repellant. I dislike both. Strongly... Best, LaVizsia

Not much for close parking on game nights but not too far a walk either. The place is kind of small but for an ice rink had all the concessions necessary. The staff was nice and the game was great. Could have done with some more seating but the general admission area was fairly uncrowded. The patrons were friendly and the place was clean. For one of the smaller rinks I've been to it was an overall pleasant experience. 9/10

Drove all the way from where Wilderville Oregon is, with my kids and there 92 yr old great grandma, got there and a girl said open skate started a half hour from then. We went to subway which was in the same parking lot And got a quick bite to eat. Went back in there paid for the kids to skate then went over and traded their shoes for skates not them all laced up and ready to go. This was our first time there. We went to get on the ice and grabbed a push cart thing, and this little girl says those are ours. A man said you can rent them right over there so we walked back to where we got the skates. They had a stack of them but informed us they are sold out. They said they only have 17 available and that those ones stacked up were for ticket holders.?? I explained my kids have never been there and would have to have one. They didn’t bother to apologize they just started at me. I asked for refund and they did ablige. The looks on my kids faces, I felt so sad and mad all at once. This was a terrible experience and the “kids” they have working there had no compassion or empathy what so ever. Not even an apology. They must be on a really tight budget to only have 17 push carts which clearly isn’t enough. Not only did it break my kids hearts but what a waste of time and gas.

Food offered during games is standard hotdogs and burgers that are pretty good, the prices are excellent. Also have hot chocolate and coffee if you're cold, be sure to bring layers. (For hockey games) Inside the rink in the seating area it can get pretty packed, more so lately - the only downside is that it doesn't seem like there is much cleanup between games as the seating area had some leftover trash from a previous game.

This a pretty cool place to go skate. It's a little crowded but, most ice rinks are. The prices are definitely worth going at least once in a while. The only complaint is that I wish they would bring the zamboni out more often to freshen up the ice.

The building itself seems like it could use some maintenance but the staff is incredible, the prices are fair, the classes are amazing, and I love what they offer the community. Great place to get some exercise on a smokey day and we recently had a kids birthday party here on cosmic night and everyone had a blast.

I haven't been ice skating in YEARS!! While the rink is a little old, it's still a ton of fun!! Not too crowded, so you had plenty of space to get a feel first, and the staff was super friendly!!

Rogue Rock Gym offers well-taught lead classes and challenging routes, making up for their smaller size with difficulty. The bouldering is particularly enjoyable, with harder settings than other gyms. The gym also features fun sport/top rope walls and auto belays for solo climbing. Additionally, the spacious workout area is well-equipped for a good sweat session. While the neighborhood may have some security concerns, the gym remains a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike.
Great to see an active climbing community in the Rogue Valley. I appreciated the numerous auto belays as I was visiting from out of town and didn't have a climbing partner. A day pass was $20 and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'll visit again next time I'm come through.
Joshua L — Google review
The gym was decent, with several options for all levels of climbers and bouldering. The staff were pleasant enough but seemed very uninterested in the members/customers as a whole. It was our first time and no one showed us the ropes (pun intended). We asked a climber nearby to give us a once over on the auto belay (1st time without a human belay) and then afterward took out our own self guided tour of the facilities. Didn't even know there was a workout room in the back until we stumbled upon it.

Emma at front desk was very helpful. The rock climbing walls are fun for all ages Our granddaughters are 7 and 10. We went on a school day so definitely not very crowded.

I love this gym! My go to climbing place with kind staff and excellent routes. I've been going here for over 6 years and highly recommend to anyone, regardless of skill level or experience. Very happy with the Rogue Rock Gym.
Scout M — Google review
I'm not one to hate on a place but, I've been going to rogue rock gym for about 2 years now ND am disappointed on how outdated ND broken everything is in the gym, old ripped floor mats, screws everywhere, holds breaking off the wall, half burnt out lights, cobwebs EVERYWHERE! I haven't ever seen a change in the cleanliness I've only ever seen more kids running around leaving food in climbing areas, ND spilling drinks on the already stained floor mats, very rarely I'll even see adults eating chips in climbing areas leaving crumbs ND trash. It's sad to see a place with so much potential having no care or concerns at all to make the only rock gym we have a good one, it's almost more of a playground for kids. maybe it's a money thing maybe Its an owner issue but daum you'd think by now it'd be somewhat cleaner? Or even more professional when it comes to who they hire or how they train their staff, I've seen different times staff members being unprofessional ND un safe or even inappropriate, but I've also seen very rarely staff members actually doing their jobs. Either or this is a negative review hoping that maybe even just a little bit more effort can be put into this gym. Doubtful.
Salad B — Google review
I went yesterday for the first time and ended up joining before I left. I am new to town and actually very impressed with the quality of the rock gym here. Decently high routes, good setting, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a killer workout room. Southern Oregon is very lucky to have this gym here and so am I!
Megan L — Google review
I took a course here with my wife and we love the experience. I only wish we had a gym closer to our home. I can't imagine leaving anything less than a five-star review, there's nothing like this gym anywhere near here and to compare it to some big city gym elsewhere would be silly! This gym exceeds all expectations.
Barrett N — Google review
Love this spot! I live in LA but travel up here to visit family, and I always stop into Rogue Rock Gym while I’m here. Bouldering is fun (and harder setting than my gym back home). The walls are also fun for sport/top rope, but I’m more of a boulderer so I rarely do the walls. I do love that they have the auto belays for solo climbing. Their gym area with work out equipment (weights, machines) is so big and well equipped, love getting a good sweat in there. My favorite added touch is the permanent slack line in the middle of the gym that anyone can use. They have bathrooms with showers btw! Highly recommend coming here and getting a day pass to enjoy the climbing & gym work out area!

The Holly Theatre is a beautifully restored historic venue in Medford, offering a diverse range of performances from live music to classic film screenings. Visitors are impressed by the knowledgeable and kind guides during tours, with highlights including the projector room and intriguing stories about the theater's history. The ongoing restoration efforts have garnered excitement, with many expressing anticipation for its completion and future shows. The community is actively involved in preserving this local cultural landmark, making it an integral part of Medford's history.
The beautiful historic holly theater is set to reopen in January 2025. The renovations have been underway and a little more effort and donations are needed from the community to wrap up this beautiful project and help make Medford and even more beautiful place to live.

We are so excited that the opening of the Holly Theatre is here! We've dreamed about watching shows in this beautiful space, so to see it finally ready to be opened, we couldn't be more delighted. Some cool facts about the theatre. It was built in 1930 and was the first grand movie palace in Southern Oregon. It closed its doors in 1986 and was saved from being torn down by the Art Alfinito family in the mid-1990s when they purchased it. In 1998 it was named placed on the National Register for Historic Places. In 2011 the JPR Foundation purchased the theatre to restore it. They have raised more than $13 million dollars from over 3300 donors to finally open its doors. The project was completed in early 2025. It will be the largest performance venue between Redding California and Eugene, Oregon This Sunday, March 2nd, they are hosting a very soft opening with Rally for Reed a fundraiser for Aaron Reed of The Brothers Reed who is battling brain cancer. More than ten bands and musicians will be performing throughout the evening. Holly Theatre general manager, Tiffany Maude says, "It's a way for the Holly Theatre to give back to our community that has supported them through this journey. Our aim is to be a community hub for the arts and this is a great way to start." Plans for the theater include classic movies during the summer and programming to engage kids to get involved. We are so happy for this new space in downtown Medford. We can't wait to see what's to come! You can see longer clips of my videos on YouTube.

I hadn't been in the Holly theater since 1975. It's still a beautiful place to see a show. Tonight we saw Warren Haynes and it was a really great time.

As a hairstylist and makeup artist, I've had the privilege of working in some of the most iconic venues along the West Coast—but The Holly? Hands down, the most breathtaking space I’ve ever stepped foot in. The restoration is nothing short of miraculous. After seeing the original condition through historical photos, it's truly awe-inspiring to witness what they've created. We are so lucky to have such a beautifully revived venue right here in Southern Oregon. Seeing the first band play on that stage since the 1980s brought literal tears to my eyes. It was a moment of pure magic—legendary in every sense. The management, staff, and volunteers are doing an outstanding job bringing this historic gem back to life. We’ve been to the first three shows and each one was a total joy. The hospitality was on point, the box office and bar staff were quick and kind, and yes—the bathrooms were sparkling clean! Now let’s talk about the sound system... it ROCKS. I'm a total music snob, and I was genuinely shocked by how phenomenal the sound and lighting are. The Holly easily rivals top venues in Portland and San Francisco. Ticket prices are super reasonable (especially through their website or box office), and seating is actually comfortable—speaking as a curvy girl! Bars and restrooms were easy to access, and the ushers made sure we found our seats with ease. We’re already planning our next visit. The Holly is a treasure, and we’re so lucky to have it in our backyard.

First time at this beautiful renovated theater. The inside was superbly decorated. The seats were comfortable and the sound was A+. Saw my favorite artist Molly Tuttle and her band, and was treated to wonderful music with the lights and acoustics , just made for a splendid evening. Totally worth the long drive down from Portland.

The place is restored quite well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rows of chairs are very tight like they have been forever so consider where you sit if you are a person that needs to get up during a show.

Additionally, the office staff is friendly and helpful, making it easy to sign up for classes or inquire about scholarships.
I've always heard...This. If you see something, say something. As I walked from Crestbrook Rd. to Black Oak St. on the walking/bike path I saw two men trimming snow damaged trees and clearing brush around the creek, They were working very very hard. I thought WOW! What hard workers. Later I walked that path again and to my amazement, the whole area had been cleaned so beautifully. I honestly don't know how that much work could have been completely in just a few hours. Thank you Parks and Rec.

My daughter did the sports sampler at the Santos gym with parks and rec‘s and we loved it! The two coaches kept the kids engaged. They gave the children direction that not only could my child do but could repeat to me. I was pleasantly surprised how well organized and well lead the class was. My experience with the office staff was also very positive. They were very friendly and helpful. We were able to qualify for a scholarship which paid for a portion of the class making it very much affordable. I would definitely recommend a sports sampler class for anyone with a young child such a great opportunity to try out so many different sports and one class. I’m Sure this will not be the last class that my daughter participates in with park and rec’s.

I didn't take any photos while I was here but I took a couple of clients with me and we thoroughly enjoyed looking at the art. I didn't buy any because they are expensive to buy an artist's work, and I'm saving money currently or I may have thought about getting something because there is some amazing art there. But for me as a mental health caregiver, it made a perfect afternoon outing with my clients. Very enjoyable.

Staying at the Best Western next door, I walked across the parking lot for dinner. I was greeted by their friendly staff and seated right away. I ordered the meatloaf dinner off of the little less menu and it was the perfect meal for me not being a big eater, and it was delicious!

We're not locals so this was our first time (and most likely last time) at this diner. It was adorable!!! I wish we had one on the East Coast. The decor was absolutely on par with the theme and the newspapers as menus was adorable. I wish they had more of a gift shop with branded merchandise instead of just bear themed items. But I would definitely visit again! My boyfriend said it was the best BLT he's ever had. Good breakfast too

A Delightful Brunch at Black Bear Diner, Medford Our group of seven ventured to Black Bear Diner in Medford for a Sunday Brunch, and it was an experience that left us all smiling. Despite the challenge of finding parking and a brief wait for our food, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and camaraderie. The wait only heightened our anticipation, and the diner did not disappoint. The menu offered a variety of hearty and homestyle options, and each dish was prepared with care and served piping hot. I opted for the Build Your Own Breakfast, which allowed me to indulge in the stuffed blackberry french toast, paired with savory sausage links, and perfectly cooked two over easy eggs. The flavors were rich and satisfying, truly capturing the essence of a home-cooked meal. The portions were generous, ensuring that we all left with full bellies and content hearts. What stood out was the diner’s ability to create a fun and welcoming environment. Our server, Terry, was a gem—attentive, friendly, and efficient, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. It’s clear that Black Bear Diner isn’t just about the food; it’s about the experience. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a place that combines delicious food with a warm atmosphere, Black Bear Diner in Medford is the spot. It’s a place where minor inconveniences like parking and wait times are small prices to pay for the quality time and great food you’ll enjoy. Highly recommended!

Dad was visiting from Florida, he missed Black Bear so much, so I took him for breakfast. He said it was just like he remembered years ago. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, we both got eggs, sausage patties (homemade) and hash browns. It came out quickly and it was so good! The patties were delicious, can either get them mild or hot. We got the hot and they weren’t too hot but had a nice kick to them! We left there full and happy. Our waitress was also great! I forgot her name unfortunately, but she was so personable! Will definitely be back when he comes back for another visit!

We love the Black Bear in Madras and Wilsonville good also but we were seriously disappointed in the one in Medford. Fried chicken looked and tasted like re-fried Banquet box chicken and chicken pot pie was canned mushroom soup with a few pieces of chicken and veggies in it. They are obviously pre-made and reheated, as server had to ask if they still had any more. The broccoli was literally served on the plate with the microwave steam bag still on it. Mashed potatoes and gravy were cold, like pre-portioned, frozen, and microved not long enough. Restaurant was missing all the wonderfully beautiful wood posts we've seen in the other restaurants. Absolutely not the quality we know for Black Bear diners.

We absolutely love this pub. The atmosphere is perfect and our server, Cherise, was very pleasant and attentive. We were here on Father's Day. We started with an appetizer of their garlic fries with a ranch side. They are delicately crispy, and oh so good. I think they are some of the best fries I've ever had. The main course was ordered and served in less than 15 minutes. My wife had the Cottage pie and I had the Guinness meatloaf. Both entries arrived piping hot and were delicious and satisfying. I have been here in the past and it is always a treat to return.

My wife and I flew in to Medford on the way to Klamath Falls Friday evening. We were looking for an interesting restaurant to eat dinner and found 4 Daughters Irish Pub. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and you could tell the locals enjoyed being there. My wife had the Cottage Pie and enjoyed it. She thought it had a good taste but was over salted. I had the Fish & Chips with the Garlic Fries. Overall it was good but did not knock my socks off. The garlic fries were just okay; essentially just tossed some garlic on them. I’m a person who enjoys garlic on a lot of things but was a little disappointed in their garlic fries.

Amazing place. I was in love with the style. It was done so well and seemed like the most perfect restaurant. They were playing classic rock or old school metal that you don't hear that often and the vibes were just perfect. The food was also amazing with the cottage pie being savory and tasty like crazy. The Irish stew has a distinct flavor that was also distinct. The onion rings were good, nothing super amazing but definitely not bad.

Four Daughters is my first choice for everything: lunch, dinner, meetups, drinks...the GM is fantastic, as is her entire crew. The pretzels are out of this world, I can't even describe how good they are; like some old world secret recipe that will ruin you for all other pretzels and cheese. The flatbreads are so flavorful and I'd course the fish and chips are done to perfection. The ambiance is relaxing and intimate, but still spacious. Now if they would just do breakfast! 😁😁💓

The menu features a variety of traditional and non-traditional tapas, salads, flatbreads, and paella made with the best local and regional ingredients. The restaurant's philosophy revolves around creating wonderful food using local ingredients paired with great drinks.
I was excited to find a tapas bar in Medford, and the patatas bravas did not disappoint! I was intrigued by the Mediterranean Carrots dish, and it was a spectacular blast of diverse flavors that I would highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and there was a variety of seating options available.

One of those Medford locations that pitches some class and creates a more cultured atmosphere. We ordered multiple starters under happy-hour pricing, I could have been more impressed - while advertised as elevated sides, there was still more to be desired for flavor profiles and portions (even for tapas). I ordered the flat iron steak (pictured), listed under ‘Large’ plates… This was a medium portion at best, I would estimate at roughly 6 to 8 oz. While cooked to order, at the quantity and price listed, I would not order again. Service was on point, the staff were very accommodating and energetic.

Elements Tapas has been our place for special occasions for years. We love the atmosphere, attention to detail, and unique dishes. Papas del Toro is my favorite dish. The crisp potatoes, tender oxtail, perfectly pungent truffle oil, white cheddar cheese, frisée, and perfectly poached eggs go together so nicely. It's the ultimate shareable comfort food. I've ordered it many, many times because it is just so deliciously unique. My last visit for my birthday with my two friends was absolutely horrendous. The place smelled like rotten bums. The restaurant was dead. The kitchen staff emerged a few times, and the filthy sight of them combined with the smell, should have been our sign to leave. We had already ordered drinks, and bites, however, so we stayed. After all, I had never had a bad experience. When the food came out, it didn't appear to be bad. We ordered the Patatas Braves, Manchego and Bacon Dip, and the Papas Del Toro w/poached eggs ($32). My friends and I all served ourselves some of each tapa and visited while we sampled the food. During that time, there was a person in the restaurant that needed an ambulance, and the server became pretty engrossed in that. Not a huge deal, but important to note that we weren't really checked on. When he finally came back to ask how things were, he sold us another round of drinks, and left before I could tell him about the sub par food. At that point, two of us had spit out meat from the Papas Del Toro, because it was too chewy and we'd found bone splinters in it. That has never happened in years of ordering the dish. The poached eggs were also grossly undercooked (egg snot rockets) and the potatoes were not crisp - they were soggy. There were three tiny, pathetic little slimy pieces of frisèe - hardly detectable with all the excess grease that sogged out the potatoes. It was not good at all and cost $32! However, the three of us had all sampled it, tried to enjoy it, so about half of it was eaten. When he was finally able to talk to us, I let the server know that the Papas Del Toro was not at all at the level that we would expect. The meat was almost inedible, the potatoes were soggy, and it was just not good. He offered no solution, because "so much had been eaten," not acknowledging the chewed up and spit out pieces of meat on two of our plates. With another patron being loaded up in an ambulance, it was not a time to argue. The server was flustered at that point. So, we paid up and left. As much as I loved Elements Tapas and that delicious dish, I won't be back. The place smelled disgusting. The kitchen staff looked like absolute dirt balls, and the food quality was verifiably terrible. The server didn't have to comp the whole cost of the dish. He could have done just about anything to make good, but he offered nothing. Another decent restaurant in Medford bites the dust.

It was very busy there , which was enticing to us . We got our usual cocktails of a Tito’s crab and a cosmo. Cosmo was alright , Tito’s and cran was good. We got the board with meats and cheese . Did not touch any meat on the board . Also got the order of side bread to have will all the cheese given . It was okay. The cauliflower was okay too, a big portion. We also got the steak skewers. My husband ate all the meat and I had the onion and red bell peppers. Was bummed but hope to see some menu improvements .

The food is mediocre and over priced. The Waitress was rude, the waiter was pretty nice. We will not go back.

Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe is a charming spot that offers a variety of freshly made cakes, biscuit sandwiches, and breakfast plates. Established by Ellen and Gibson Holub, this artisan bakery and cafe prides itself on serving delectable sweet and savory items. From decadent layer cakes in flavors like Coconut Cloud to indulgent treats such as pumpkin salted caramel cheesecake, every item is made from scratch for exceptional flavor.
If you are in town, definitely give this place a shot. I ate here for breakfast 2 days in a row when I was visiting Medford. They have a wide selection of breakfast items including in-house bakery. Their ingredients are sourced locally and were all super fresh. They are known for their biscuits and they did not disappoint. Coffee was amazing as well. Next time I visit, I will certainly return.

This was a quite a gem of a bakery! The service was wonderful, the decor is charming, it’s much larger inside than it seems from outside, the coffee was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. We were treated to breakfast here by family, but my husband and I will absolutely be back. The espresso pie is heavenly.

Buttercloud Café never disappoints! I tried their Eggs Benedict this time — perfectly poached eggs and fresh greens, topped with creamy hollandaise sauce. The flavors were spot on — rich, buttery, and balanced. The side of fresh orange slices was a nice refreshing touch. We also ordered an omelet with a side biscuit and jam, and it was just as amazing. The omelet was fluffy and flavorful, with melted cheese and diced tomatoes adding a perfect texture. The biscuit was golden, soft, and flaky — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere!

They are back! Medford's legendary Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe... just scored the last two Oatmeal Bourbon Cherry Cookies of the day. Don't worry, they'll bake more.

Overall, pretty good. They don’t employ enough servers to have great service but the ones who were there were hardworking and friendly. I had the Denver omelette which was okay, a little oily and not much ham. The jam and the coffee were excellent.
Sharlene I — Google review
Probably one of the better breakfasts you can get in Medford. The biscuits are really great too. Only downer is the hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict. No lemon, and they used flour so it was more like yellow gravy. The Biscuits and gravy was pretty good. The salmon scramble was probably the best.

Oh goodness, where to start....this place has good stars from what it used to be and definitely not what it has become. The atmosphere is like a rave, you can't hear anything in this warehouse setup, it's cold and awkward. The brunette with the glasses at the front kept repeating the same sentence over and over to us which was it will be 30 minutes for a seat, do yiu want a seat? I was on a lunch break, just wanted two breakfast biscuits to go so she walks off to come back not once more but 3 more times to say the exact same thing. Started to feel like an episode from the twilight zone. (It's not busy BTW, I managed Kaleidoscope and that place gets actually busy). She finally let's us go order and we pay 24.50 for our two biscuits and I pay cash and tip 3 bucks, we're told 15 minutes. 32 minutes later while sitting right next to the same host we, she asks us that same question 2 times more and another woman walks up stating they are just starting our food and that I need to pick a different item because they're out of an ingredient so I do and it was a dollar less than my previous pick. That's fine in all honesty that they didn't offer the monetary difference in price back in all honesty but as 16 more minutes pass. I'm late to work, I give my job a quick call to apologize and let them know I'm on my way and go to the front again to ask for my cash refund, and they can keep the tip. The inept cashier walks back and 4 people come out, stand in view and huddle talking amongst themselves and nobody comes over again except for...you guessed it, the host with the memory situation to repeat her one sentence to us again....as if she hadn't seen us sitting there the last hour or spoken to us the last 5 times. It was odd. So we just left without any food, without an apology and without our refund. With so many awesome places around I would just skip the weirdness of this one. They just are not ready to open and maybe they should've stayed closed. That's not how community members treat each other. However. Why take the chance on losing the one thing you can't get back which is time and giving your money to people who don't value it or who think it's ok to keep your money without a product or service in exchange. Thieves just don't go far in the valley, we treat each other a little better than that. ❤️
Cherri F — Google review
I have only tried a latte, a chocolate chip cookies and a pecan sticky bun so can't fully review the place yet. What I got was ok. I would never suggest it to someone else really. The sit down breakfast menu looks promising so I can't wait to try that. Overall this place is probably pretty good. I will update later when I try more

In-N-Out Burger is a classic burger chain known for its customizable burgers, hand-cut fries, and shakes. Located primarily on the West Coast, this popular spot offers outdoor seating at some locations, making it pet-friendly. Customers rave about the delicious burgers and recommend trying them 'animal style.' The quick service and friendly staff make for a pleasant dining experience. In addition to tasty food, they also offer good drinks and milkshakes.
While in Medford, Oregon. I was initially hesitant to join the car waiting line as it seemed quite long, but to my surprise, it was moving quickly. We decided to head inside, only to find the same busy atmosphere. However, what really stood out was the crew’s impressive efficiency. Despite the rush, our order for four people was out in less than 10 minutes! The team worked together seamlessly, serving customer after customer with great energy and attention. They were helpful in every way possible, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone. One thing that amazed me was the fact that there are no taxes in Oregon, a nice surprise compared to what I’m used to back home in Texas. Overall, it was an organized and well-run operation, making the entire visit enjoyable.

Employees were friendly and helpful! Like typical In N Out there was a line to order but I received my order quickly. The food quality was perfect. The food was made well and was tasty. The tables were cleaned consistently while we ate there.

First time trying In-N-Out Burger since I am from the East Coast. I really like the classic burger joint uniforms and the styling of the establishment. The menu essentially has one option which is a burger with fries which honesty I am a fan of. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you are getting. I am honestly not a fan of the fries. However, the double burger was very good especially compared to other burgers at the same price range. The vanilla ice cream shake was solid, just plane old school vanilla shake, nothing fancy which I can appreciate. All in all, I had a positive experience and I recommend the burger for sure.

It's been a while since I've last gone to an In-N-Out burger. And I was pleased that it is exactly how I remembered it to be. The burger was wonderful and flavourful. The fries were perfect. I know that the fries are a divisive topic. I just love fries of all types. I got the fries Animal style with no spread. All my good was hot and fresh. There were no issues with wrong toppings and missing items (unlike other quick service restaurants).

This In-N-Out location is perfectly situated in Medford, and I absolutely love coming here for lunch or pretty much any time of day. When I was pregnant, this was my go-to spot for late-night cravings at 12 a.m. (They close at 1 a.m., so get there before then!). They don't take big bills late at night, but that's a small thing. I've also noticed that this location is a favorite for police officers and first responders late at night, which speaks to the service and quality here. The place is always clean, and whether I dine in or take out, I know I'm getting great food. The line can get long, and you might have to wait a bit, but honestly, it’s worth it to avoid heading all the way down to California or up to Grants Pass for the best burgers in town!

Very busy place. They weren't very friendly but the kicker was the kid who was yelling out order numbers to be picked up! He was literally screaming into the mic. It was horrible and made for a very unpleasant dining experience. It was so over the top loud that he woke up the baby. He waited about 3 seconds in between calling the names out. Good grief. No one could even get up fast enough and through all the people before he started screaming. I'm sure he was working hard, but maybe a little more workplace etiquette would be a good thing for those dining. The food was good as usual.

Wild River Brewing and Pizza Co. in Medford is a laid-back brewery and eatery that serves an array of craft beers alongside handcrafted dishes, with a focus on delectable pizzas. Customers rave about the mouthwatering chicken bacon ranch pizza and the option to add extra ranch sauce. The split meat pizza with mushroom, chicken, and bacon also receives high praise. In addition to their delicious pizzas, they offer homemade cream sodas and root beers with free refills.
We were just passing through Medford on a family road trip and stumbled upon Wild River Brewing—what a great find! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, even with kids in tow. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the space had a laid-back vibe that made it easy to unwind. The food really hit the spot—delicious, hearty, and perfect after a long drive. I really enjoyed trying a flight of their craft beers—great variety and flavor. Plenty of space for the kids to be comfortable, and the casual, self-service setup made it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal at our own pace. If you’re in the area or just passing through, definitely make a stop here. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Highly recommend!! Best Pizza and husband loves the other food options too. We love to come here when in medford for family days. We come here if shopping while kids in school for a lunch date. They have a nice cocktail, wine and beer menu. The main area and bar area have the best atmosphere's for both. The gluten free crust is the best!! I have never had a reaction to gluten exposure but I am not celiac, just have a severe allergy/sensitivity to gluten. They have a kids menu that comes with a drink and other food options beside the perfect kids sized pizza for our 7yr old son. Our daughter is more of a burger girl, which was a good sized real meat burger and big basket of fries. I love the old school feel here too with the arcade, the kids especially like the VR game. They also have pinball and Mrs. Pac-Man for the kid at heart. Only advice is bring cash for arcade if using it. No ATM just a quarter machine that takes $1, $5, $20 and they can not do cash back on any card, even with a food purchase. The bar area also has a nice atmosphere for lunch or casual date night. I haven't sat on the outside patio yet but it also looks like a nice spot with plenty of shaded seats. The margaritas are yummy and so are the few cocktails we have tried.

We have really enjoyed the food from Wild River. While driving through the area we decided to get an order to go. The website advertised their new process for takeout as being easy and time saving. We showed up at our pick up time only to find only one of the two pizzas we ordered was made. The staff huddled together and tried to place blame on who didn't complete the task. Finally someone spoke up and said can someone please make the missing pizza. They told us it would take just a few minutes and that they were going to talk with someone in the back, presumably the manager, though this was not clarified. I had assumed this was an attempt to fix the mistake. After multiple minutes, the employee came back, asked the person making the pizza how long it would be, and told us 7 min and the pizza will be ready. No mention of the conversation they had with the employee in the back office. We sat for another 15 minutes waiting for the pizza to be made. After it was finally done we had been there for almost 25 min from when we made our pick up time. "An employee said did you get your drinks you ordered?" We said no. They said "they are over there by the door in the cooler", it was not a big deal to grab, but it seemed like a lack of service. This added to the really poor service we had been provided. Then they said would you like any ranch? We said well we paid extra to have some, so yes it would be nice to get that. While the service was very poor, the food was good. I don't know if it would be enough to bring us back. It is easily argued that if we had went to eat in, we would not have had that experience. But we didn't and the service experience was not good. The kicker is we did a nice tip when we ordered.

Great service and delicious food. You can order gluten free pizza with any toppings. The crust is made with cauliflower. So good.
Tanji D — Google review
Pizza was ok cut horribly. I got a chicken Caesar salad and it was garbage. Half the lettuce was brown. Dressing didn’t taste good. And of course they also forgot my chicken that I paid $5 extra for. They did bring it to me on the side when I told them. It was just a small amount of chicken. We also ordered fries and they were soggy. I will never go out of my way to come here. We have much better pizza places around here. On top of all that the coin machine didn’t work and they didn’t have any quarters up front so the kids were very disappointed that they couldn’t play any games.
Ash — Google review
We recently placed a takeout order from Wild River Brewing and Pizza Co and were honestly disappointed with the entire experience. What used to be a reliable spot for good food felt like a shell of what it once was. The pizza was the first red flag. The texture made it feel like it had been sitting out for a long time. It was tough, dry, and hard to chew. Several guests at our home all had the same reaction. It lacked that fresh out of the oven feel and tasted more like reheated leftovers than a fresh pizza. We also ordered the fish and chips, and while the fish itself was just okay, everything else about it felt lazy. The meal was packed in plain paper bags instead of the standard boxes most restaurants use to keep things warm and presentable. The fries were cold, lacked any crispiness, and felt just as old and unappetizing as the pizza. To top it off, our son’s lemonade was missing from the order. A small thing maybe, but when you’re ordering for your family, the details matter. He was really looking forward to it, and not getting it just added to the overall disappointment. Unless there’s a major improvement in quality and attention to detail, we probably won’t be going back. Wild River used to be dependable, but this time around they really missed the mark. Horrible experience.

Overpriced but what isn't these days. I don't love how you order at a counter and seat yourself. Never really know how much to tip that way. 2 burgers 2 drinks 1 onion ring order and a small (and I mean TINY) gluten free pizza and my bill was 90 bucks. I wouldn't go again but it wasn't horrible.

Just got done playing Centennial Golf Course in Medford, OR with a local member, Micah. We had a great time. The course was in wonderful condition, especially the greens. They putted very true. This course is very playable for any level of player. The fairways are wide, bunkers are placed appropriately and the multiple tee boxes on each hole are big and well maintained. I paid $93.00 with a riding cart and felt that was a fair price for the golf experience I had. The staff we engaged with were very professional and helpful. I would definitely come and play here again.

Centennial is a hidden gem in the Rogue Valley, no membership required to access the services. The grill on-site is amazing. The food and service are excellent. My family and I have tried almost all the breakfast spots in town and this is 10/10 the best. The ambience and setting is so wonderful. They also do dinner service with an extensive menu and prime rib dinner on Fridays! My kids are interested in learning to golf now and I credit that to the welcoming environment and the beautiful course! A huge plus that they offer to connect you to kids classes for golf too! This is a must visit golf course and even if you don't golf, come eat here!

First time in about 15 years that I played golf. Was a very enjoyable course. Just a little slow to play at times. Other than that I look forward to playing there again.

I really love this course. My only complaint would be that I went to the Driving range a few weeks ago. And instead of hitting off the grass like you used to. Now there are mats that you hit off of. Which is fine, but when you hit a driver shot and you lose your tee every time. Then it’s becomes kinda annoying. Also the tees don’t stick well in the mat. I would prefer if they were the mats like they have at bear creek golf course. They have rubber tees in the mats and you can switch out for a smaller one or a taller one.

If I could put 0 on food and service, I would. Was 7:30am two coffees, a bagel and a loaf to eat for here. Was argued with about how i like to order my drink and then when served the food there was CLEARLY mold on the bagel... They did issue me a refund for the bagel... no apology. I just couldn't eat the loaf too knowing they clearly weren't properly looking out for mold. All food items where packaged still in the case so I'm assuming no one is dating them and they stay in there until purchased. Ick.

The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly, making it a must-visit spot for beer enthusiasts in the area.
This is one of the BEST breweries that I have been able to visit! Thank you, Kara (Cara?), for showing up and being a dope human to a stranger at a taphouse and recommending this place. Linda is a great brewtender! The food was phenomenal. I had to go twice! I had the Tranch Burger with the Hottermelon BBQ sauce. I paired it with their Strong Ale. The next day, I had the Gumbo Over Rice and Curry Fries. Then, I tried the rest of the beers they had on tap. It was trivia night, and they have an amazing outdoor space! I felt like I had been there for a long time.
Frank I — Google review
Brews on tap were limited. The cider I had was nothing special. Shark something was decent for a beer, but again not really worth it. The exterior screams former gentleman’s club. I almost turned around. Parking lot was not paved and had many deep flooded pot holes. Given the area, rain is coming and when I was there it was indeed raining so the entrance/exit was partially flooded. The bartender was nice at least. Overall: Hard pass for me. More effort needs to be put back into the business. It felt worn out. I just paid cash since I didn’t feel comfortable using a credit card. There is potential, just much more investment needed to make the property more inviting and expand the drinks on tap.

This was our first visit (we live out of town) and Maddie (sp?) and Cameron were so welcoming and efficient! The front of the brewery kind of gave off strip club vibes 😂 but the inside and seating area out back were super pleasant! We’ll definitely be back.

We ordered 2 kegs for our wedding and needed some extra help with outside beverages and this team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and all with a smile. I could not recommend Walkabout highly enough.

Lets start off with the beer.....porter was smooth and tastes like a porter should. The the Hops and Stuff IPA lives up to its name.. very hoppy and delicious. The Workers pale ale has a nice flavor with no after taste.. Plain atmosphere not an exciting place. Order at the bar, staff was friendly and the menu is a food truck outside. You do have to go out to the food truck to order and receive food. I was expecting more from advertising that I had read.

Tiny little place huge flavor packed into these tasty morsels! My love got the steak sandwich which by the way was enough for 2 people and was only 13$!!! The staff were amazing and made us feel completely at home! They even have a ham and cheese Empanada for kiddos!! YuM!!

I love this place, the food is good quality and very tasty always. The Supremo sandwich is my favorite for sure. They have some really delicious sweets also. The only thing I would say that would make this restaurant even better is if they had a little self service station with napkins and ketchup etc so you have access to those without asking for them because sometimes they are busy and everyone is working in the back and not in the front by the register. I’ll definitely continue to come eat here weekly though!

Easily some of the best food I've had in Oregon so far. I got the chipotle shrimp and the Malbec beef empanadas. Wow the flavor was crazy good. The only thing I didn't really like was the wait. I waited almost 30 minutes for 2 empanadas. I don't mind waiting for fresh food but that was quite the wait for 2 things

Caba catered my wedding and did such a stellar job that now, as a wedding photographer myself, they are my #1 recommendation to all my couples in need of catering. They have the absolute best customer service and the food is amazingly delicious. It's always a pleasure getting to work with Caba and enjoy their amazing food during a long day of work!

This is a cool eatery in the heart of downtown Medford. They have authentic Argentina empanadas that are very delicious. All the workers (the day I was there) are Chilean nationals. The Empanadas were $4.75, and it would take about 3 of them to fill you up. Empanadas are meat/cheese/veggies (or vegan) of your choice, wrapped in a wheat shell and baked. It takes 12-20 minutes, but worth the wait!

This food is bliss. The flavors are out of this world. So lovingly crafted. Melt in your mouth savory, sweet, salty…. Just. The kind of food that you bite into, and your shoulders just relax. It’s that good. This is my first time coming in and I will not stop until I’ve tried everything (but I won’t stop then either.)

Excellent Empanadas! Classy, clean and simple inside, friendly helpful owners. We loved all our Empanadas but the bacon, goat cheese and traditional organic beef were my favorites. Cute, tasty, and flavorful! Got 4 empanadas to try and I gotta go back for more! Favorite’s are the ham and cheese, and spinach cheese, but vegan is tasty with good spices. I finished the meal with their dulce de leche tiramisu, which is a very rich dessert, but still good-even if I could only eat a few bites!

What a helpful staff for an out-of-town visitor! I made some family history gains due to their knowledge of available records.

Not just a “Place”! So many activities and programs for the public! A research library where one can browse photos, maps, oral histories, diaries… A mini-museum to catch a glimpse of the many artifacts the society holds. And a great place to volunteer. If one has library skills, craft skills, computer skills, people skills, solitary zen working skills, an interest in history…. And don’t miss the Hanley Farm!

The SOHS is underfunded for an archive and library of its scope, but a dedicated mix of professionals and volunteers have kept this incredible local resource humming.

Rogue Valley Mall, established in 1978 and expanded over the years, remains a prominent shopping destination in Southern Oregon. It features brand-name retailers, a kids' play area, and family-friendly amenities. The mall offers wheelchair access with ramps and elevators for convenience. Visitors can enjoy diverse shopping options and dining at the food court. With various shops to explore, including a crystal shop, it continues to attract shoppers from the region despite the changing landscape of retail experiences.
In n Out employees are so nice and polite. Took our order face to face in drive thru line, repeated it back with no errors and repeated again before paying and again at pick up window. They all were very happy with smiles and as usual, the food was cooked to our preference. I give them 10 stars!
Mary C — Google review
Rogue Valley Mall is the definition of a "dead mall". Many of the stores are closed and there are hardly any shoppers. This mall is old, outdated, and run down. Some of the shop owners and kiosks are super pushy when you are walking by. They won't take "no thanks" for an answer. The elevator was dirty and there was trash on the ground. The only stores worth visiting are the main anchor stores. I don't know what keeps this shopping mall in business.
Rebel R — Google review
The wall is great for a stroll getting away from the normal way of shopping which I like, however these hours need to get fixed, closing at 8pm everyday of the week makes no sense, should be 10 for at least Friday Saturday.

Considering Malls Kinda Died Out. Rogue Valley Mall has some great stores and is always well kept. I can't recall the names But they have a high quality piercing store, a store with really cool vintage collectibles and a shop with really unique/rare kicks. Worth walking through!

Not too many options probably more than a 3rd of the business are ni longer there and only large corps remain. Sad to see small business pushed out due to high rental prices, I assume. Would prefer to see more small business spaces be supported. I only visit for necessary items from bigger companies. Would visit more often if there was small business inclusion. I love to buy small and/or local!!

Best mall to visit im from nevada and I gotta say by far way better than the malls back home not one time was I followed by mall security or anyone for that fact back home I was followed by security every step I went It came to the point I got sick of it and after being followed for well over 45 minutes I confronted this guy and said what are you doing and he could not give me an answer so long story short i had over $500.00 on me I just walked out! Medford mall it clean smells great the people that shop at this mall is also a better class of people not one time did I feel unsafe I also noticed security also making rounds in the parking lot making it safe.

Great to see some of the empty shops filling back up. I grew up with a mall and it’s nice to see this one can still thrive in a time when these things are becoming extinct. Perfect place to let kid go off with her friends and chat at the food court while you get some shopping in

This business is one of my absolute favorite places in town! Always clean and freshly stocked with new items. The atmosphere is uplifting and pleasant with Christian music playing in the background which definitely makes them stand out and encourages me to support their local, family owned business as often as I can.

This is a fantastic place to shop. Everyone is so friendly. If you see something you like you better buy it. I have come to find that things sell FAST so don't wait if you like something, it may be gone when you go back for it. It is true that they don't hold items. I like that. I don't want to waste my time looking at items only to find out they are not for sale. I like their simple check out. So many stores ask multiple questions at check out. Phone Number, zip code, email address, first born (just checking to see if your reading this). American Mercantile does not do this AT ALL. NO personal questions asked. Just like in the good ole days. You want it you buy it, it is that simple. I don't have to verify who I am for my vintage spice tin purchase. LOL

Ok yeah, they play Christian music. And? I’m not a Christian; just ignore it then. Some people always have to have something to complain about. But seriously, I love coming here. Additionally, the park is home to the Oregon's Fallen Heroes War Memorial which pays tribute to military personnel.
Very nice park! It has a 2 usable BBQ pits each with 4 tables under its own high canopy separated by 9 beautiful trees and grass, MANY trash cans, LARGE playground though unfortunately not covered but has 3 slides also a small water park for the summer. A tennis court. Walkways around entire park. Dog friendly for friendly dogs. Plenty enough parking. A beautiful memorial.

Our kids have loved this park. It has a little of everything you want. Amazing playground. Fun spray pad to get wet. Picnic areas and pavilions, grassy fields, tennis courts, vetrans memorial. We just celebrated a friends birthday there and everyone really enjoyed it. We reserved a pavilion and set up games nearby. The kids played on the playground and on the splash pad. There are convenient restrooms situated near everything.

This cemetery is very old I seen dates in the 1800's. I went and cleaned up 2 headstones. And will be returning to clean some more. It's so sad that some get forgotten about. Overall it's a real neat cemetery to walk through. Lots of really neat headstones.
JLynn T — Google review
It's a great little neighborhood park. Lots of soccer practices and moms with kids jogging laps. Clean little spot with grass Hills and flowers and trees. Brought the dog here because we were traveling through and I wanted to walk somewhere green. Not too far off the beaten path. About what you'd expect from a little municipal park.
Bobby S — Google review
Great in the summer when the water is working, bathrooms are not kept very clean and there is not much shade, bring your own shade and chairs. If the weather is nice then plan for the parking lot to be full. The last time we went there were about a dozen celebrations going on throughout the whole park. If you want guaranteed use of the gazebo you have to reserve it through central point parks, you can do so on their website. If you don't reserve it there is a good chance you will have to vacate for groups with reservations. I would also encourage you to take some time to appreciate the memorial area, it is very well done.

Airport
Rogue Valley International Medford Airport (MFR) offers a delightful travel experience, especially for those flying in and out of the region. Conveniently located near the Springhill Suites by Marriott, this airport is perfect for exploring Medford and its surroundings. With just six gates and a handful of airlines, MFR boasts a cozy atmosphere that makes navigating through security quick and easy—often taking less than ten minutes!
One thing I really enjoyed about MFR Airport is they did not require I take my laptop off of my bag for screening. TSA moved quickly and was through security and into the terminal within 10 minutes on a Tuesday morning. Their gift/snack/accessory shop has just about anything you’d need for a flight. The airport is clean and the bathrooms are also, which is rare to find in an airport it seems. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience departing from and arriving to Rogue Valley International Airport. They also have cubicles for a more personalized experience while you wait for your flight.

I've flown into and out of this airport many times. As airports go, it's pretty small but offers great service! Parking for extended periods isn't cheap, but it's as safe as any BIG airport parking facility. The restrooms are VERY clean and never crowded! It's pretty refreshing compared to BIG airports like San Francisco and Portland! The airport staff and friendly and knowledgeable, and they always answer your questions with a smile! I've been through airports all over the world, and the Medford airport has always been one of my all-time favorites!

Small regional airport - not a lot of services inside. Early morning big backup at TSA - come early. Food options are not good. Small little store once inside. Crowded gates. Needs at upgrade but only real option in Southern Oregon. People working here are nice and try hard. Lots of parking.

Coffee and espresso is terrible and bitter at their kiosk. Overall and easy and convenient airport; parking is close and you can always find a spot. Don't waste any money buying the coffee or espresso at the kiosk. It's bitter and I am guessing the machine is dirty and hardly cared for. An espresso has zero crema on top = dirty and incaeed for machine. DO BETTER RV AIRPORT!

Love this airport! It's so small and easy to get from one place to another. It only has 6 gates and i think 6 airlines. No wait to check my bags or go thru security. Everyone who worked there looked happy, for the most part. Everything except for the restaurant is on the first floor, so no stairs or escalaters. The restaurant/ bar upstairs has the best view and a little mini casino, with 3 poker machines to keep you busy. The food is fairly priced but the drinks are crazy expensive. We had to walk on the tarmac to get into the plane. (Sort of cool)
Sarh M — Google review
I was taking a flight to go back to work and we had to drive a long distance to the airport so I was a little bit late but not much plenty of time to get checked in as I bought the ticket online and when I was being checked out with the wand the man at check in counter came out and told the gate to not allow me to fly with no explanation why! they closed the door and the plane left. Now I have to hire an attorney and file a lawsuit. I take many flights for my work and that's the first time that has happened to me so I know I'm not on the no fly list. I will not fly from that airport again.
M. G — Google review
Great airport clean and easy in and out. If your a pilot the tower is very professional and friendly. There are two excellent FBO's on the field. And a great flying club too. Hanger rental thru the county is easy and straight forward if one is available. They have restriped the runway done a great job repaving the hanger areas and getting the flood drainage updated. Updated 2023 April 2 love the new lighting on the runway and taxiways.

From the spices in his culinary delights, to his beautifully-tastful arrangements on a recycle friendly plate - I felt like I was eating at 4 star pop-up restaurant. Bring cash when you enter his mermaid muraled mobile kitchen, as he will hold you accountable in your lack of education on owner costs for using a credit/debit card. Facility is clean, and the equipment and helmets are well taken care of. The staff is young but really patient for who they have to put up with. They could use a more efficient system for the rookies-some signs maybe. We were a family of 4 showing up with no reservation on a Friday evening and one driver who was too short to ride. They were kind in explaining the rules and the place had lots of arcade games, checkers, and pool while you wait for your race. We loved it!

The facility is amazing the equipment is top notch my reason I'm giving it three stars is because I attended two different birthday parties in a matter of 5 weeks and at both of them the staff seemed annoyed at the amount of time spent went on the phone we were told that going over would be no problem at all and I even paid for an extra hour for my daughter's party. Then attending another birthday party the staff said they wanted to do a staff event that they had already planned and acted like they were put out that we were there past close but they scheduled it as such. Then at the end one of the staff walked in and announced to the parent, ” hey can you come up front and pay and we need everyone to clear out". I understand that they're young men and women that work at these establishments and sometimes it's their first job but there's got to be somebody older there then to oversee and make sure that they treat the customers with some dignity and respect. Much of the staff was helpful and had a great attitude so I'm holding the whole staff responsible just the couple different gentleman for the parties.

Offers breathtaking views of the city! There are many different hiking routes and places to begin, depending on how much time you have and hiking preferences. Some of the routes are more challenging than others. The main route that most people do is fairly short and not too strenuous. There is an incline near the top. Definitely worth it! The gates close at 1700 so if you go there to do a sunset hike, make sure that you take the time into consideration. Very busy during mornings and evenings.

Stepping into this winery felt like a delightful journey back in time, with its captivating old-world charm and breathtaking mountain views. The ambiance, complete with lush vines adorning the walls and a charming greenhouse-style seating area, created an incredibly inviting atmosphere. We had an absolute blast sampling their wines and ended up ordering a few favorites to enjoy with our meal. The food menu is fantastic and very veggie-friendly, which we greatly appreciated. We indulged in their delicious flatbread, warm bread with olive oil, creamy artichoke dip, and some excellent veggie pizzas. Every dish was fresh and flavorful. The evening took an even more magical turn when a thunderstorm rolled in, bringing with it a beautiful patch of rain and, to our delight, a stunning rainbow arcing over the mountains. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Our server was incredibly polite and accommodating, adding to the overall wonderful time we had. We left feeling relaxed, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. This winery is a gem!

As members of DANCIN Vineyard, we can confidently say this is our absolute favorite winery in Southern Oregon. The setting is breathtaking, with spectacular views of the Rogue Valley that provide the perfect backdrop for world-class wine and cuisine. Our current favorite is the 2022 “Brisé” Pinot Noir, though the 2023 “Adagio” Pinot Noir and 2022 “Tribute” Barbera are equally outstanding. Every release we’ve experienced has been crafted with excellence. For white wine lovers, the 2023 “Mélange” Chardonnay is a true standout. Beyond the wine, the culinary program is exceptional, offering one of the most thoughtful and delicious menus in the Rogue Valley. Each dish is elevated by perfect pairings, and the attention to detail is evident in every plate. Just as impressive is their top-notch hospitality—the staff makes every visit welcoming, refined, and memorable, treating guests with a level of care that matches the quality of their wine and food. As a boutique-style luxury real estate group serving Southern Oregon, we recognize and value experiences that embody authenticity, excellence, and hospitality. There are so many more options of things that would’ve been perfect on a charcuterie board that it just seems like a cheap throw in option. There were 4 of us and no one touched them. Please for the love of Pete, pick something better 😇 Sarah - our server was amazing and attentive and made our experience even better. I hope next time we visit they will have elevated the charcuterie board and left off the corn nuts 🤣

Awesome food. I had a salad that was very fresh and the red wine flight which was delightful. I highly recommend especially if you'd like atmosphere and ambiance. Thank you Kelsey. Our server everything was pristine!

My daughter and I spent a week visiting the wonderful wineries near Medford, Oregon. Dancin was our favorite. This place is breath taking. All of the wines we tested were delicious. The food was wonderful. We were especially fond of the stuffed mushrooms and an luxury version of a smore. It comes in a smokey glass dome. And the staff, wow. We were lucky to have three of the nicest women helping us out. We visited this vineyard 3 times during our stay

Hiking Trails
Natural Bridge is a lava tube in Prospect, OR, where the Rogue River flows for 200 feet. Visitors can view the river and tube, making it a worthwhile stop to witness this natural wonder. The area offers beautiful scenery with the river and trails, providing an opportunity for a refreshing break during a family road trip. Additionally, visitors can explore a cave that will eventually become another natural bridge, adding to the unique experience of this location.
A river that flows underground through a lava tube, count me in. This was a great hike, walk actually as the trail was really easy. Definitely worth the time to see this. Beautiful surrounding area as well.

A nice easy walk to a fascinating bit of river. I passed a woman with a walker as I was going to see it, and she had managed to see the whole thing, so it's also quite accessible in that regard. I also spent an absurd amount of time trying to photograph this Milbert's Tortoiseshell Butterfly. Now, as a Virginian... it certainly pales in comparison to the Virginia Natural Bridge, but since Oregon beats Virginia in a lot of natural splendor categories, I think it's fair. Oh, also there are no trash cans. They have a sign posted asking people to please take their trash with them.

Stunning. Definitely worth the visit! Easy hike on a paved trail plus some off path hiking as well.

It is truly a wonderful and easy hike to a beautiful and engulfing view. The sound of the river and rushing water into the lava tube was so calming. We saw plenty of families that were out and about. Lots of wildlife and not too many bugs. We were here during September over Labor Day weekend.

Short hike to see "The Natural Bridge". Paved walkway. Signs along the way to explain the formation.

This place is so beautiful! The campsites have enough space between each one and each camp has a trail that leads to the river, if you camp on the river side. It has picnic tables in each camp and the fishing was really good too. Also, big garbage cans around the camp sites and wood out houses throughout. Just a really awesome place. $15 a night is the only downfall. Still cheaper than most.

Super difficult for us to find by using the GPS, however, it was worth it! Fantastic view of rushing waters, lava tube/water caves, the natural bridge and more! We, very easily, took my 6yo on this hike and we all enjoyed it. The water is beautiful.
