Beaches
Coopers Beach, located in Southampton Village, is a serene and well-maintained beach with lifeguards on duty. It offers amenities such as snack bars and rentals for chairs and umbrellas, although parking comes at a premium. The beach boasts long stretches of white sand and calm waters, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy picnics and build sandcastles. Additionally, visitors can marvel at the historic mansions and celebrity homes dotting the coastline.
Cooper’s Beach is absolutely beautiful! One of the most peaceful and well-kept beaches I’ve been to in New York. The sand is soft, the water is super clean, and the whole vibe is just calm and relaxing. Perfect for a day to disconnect and reset your mind. There’s a food shack nearby with decent options, and bathrooms on-site which is always a plus. Parking can be pricey if you’re not a local, but honestly it’s worth it for the scenery and peace.

A very hazy day when we went, but it was obviously a beautiful beach, with a cafe, food shop. Clean toilets. Sand was great, and plenty of it. Parking is for residents only. We went on a quiet Friday, car park 15% full. We aren’t residents, but parked anyway. We were there 90 minutes without problems. The sand was beautiful. The fine is $250 if caught.
Grahame — Google review
Great beach, very clean, family friendly and the water was clean and cold on a hot summer day. Highly recommend. I will be returning before the summer ends.
Andrew R — Google review
Real Review – Vibes Were Everything (but not for everyone) This might be the best beach in New York when it comes to vibes — totally different from our usual spot at Rockaway. It felt like a mini escape! Was a 2 hour drive from us. The beach is beautiful: super clean water with those clear green-blue tones (gave me Florida vibes), and the sand is soft and white. No trash anywhere, which was really nice to see. We went on Saturday, July 26, and the bathrooms were super clean though I will say the women’s line was long and slow. Waited 20 mins in line so we just changed by our car. Definitely think they should have more stalls for the women compared to the men. The showers were quick and convenient, which was a plus. Now for the vibe… it’s the Hamptons, so not gonna lie, I felt a little out of place. A lot of the people there seemed like they had money, and while most were nice, there were definitely some rude/snobby types too. I kept my music low just to not get side-eyed 😅. The only real downside was the $55 parking, which felt steep and it’s card only, no cash. Would’ve been nice to know that in advance. Everyone was pricey there, was glad I brought my own tent and food. Overall, it’s a hit-or-miss depending on the crowd that day, but we still had a good time and would probably go back before summer ends but maybe a big group to split the parking lol
Jasangelis M — Google review
Awesome beach with clean facilities and great vibes. White sandy shores along beautiful mansions on Dune Road. Recently ranked #1 beach in America! $40 a day for parking. Well worth it!
Phil P — Google review
Good for sunbathing & family time with unconnected humanity around. Beautiful, clean beach with near-white sand. We've come across genteel groups of people on all visits. Not crowded. Lifeguards are vigilant on lookout platform throughout active hours. Beach Cafe is the lone food-for-purchase option. It's a limited menu, hence carrying your beach-day fare is preferred option. Comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas are available in abundance and the smart young lads insist on delivery & pickup of these foldable furniture at your beach spot. Uniformity of "Coopers' Blue" furniture setup adds to visual charm. Worth noting that the chairs are low and anyone with knee trouble should bring their own furniture arrangement. Rip current warning is always in force; not an adventure swimming-surfing destination. Not cool aspects: No change rooms provisioned in this self-styled #1 beach of the country. Doesn't rise up to Hamptons (or New York) standards. Parking for non-residents is advertised at $50 but $55 are charged on spot. Likewise, lounge chairs are advertised at $15 but $16 charged, Same for cash in either case. The beach is pet free but, on a recent weekend, one super patron had their golden retriever prancing around, unleashed (well behaved but definitely wasn't on guide duty). During this same visit, a couple were smoking blunts, unchecked; shifting the responsibility of 50' perimeter on other beach goers (and, Southampton beaches are smoke-free!).

Beautiful beach, perfect for kiddos. Water and sand are clean. Nice quiet place to sit and relax while enjoying the waves and sunset.

Beach was great, 5 stars. The people who set up their camp in front of us zero stars. Too bad some people don’t have any awareness of space. We came in from Houston, so it kind of ruined our experience, aside from seagull pooped on me.

Open air museum
Nestled in the charming village of Southampton, the Southampton History Museum is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts. This local museum features an impressive collection of 12 historic structures, including an elegant mansion dating back to 1834, a quaint schoolhouse, and a rustic barn. Visitors can immerse themselves in the area's rich past through seasonal events and guided tours that explore both the museum's grounds and surrounding sites.
The grounds are beautiful and so relaxing. There are lots of great programs. We go the first Sunday of the month for the Flea and Vintage. So much fun and there's a black smith which is great. My nephew's choice of a career. He loves his time there. Thank you!
Penny B — Google review
Friendly helpful knowledgeable staff. Two stories high and two old fashioned outhouses in the rear of the upscale restaurant (for historic information ONLY not for public use). I love that. I don't generally enjoy museums but I enjoyed this small gem. The one thing that annoyed me most is twice the placement of the stereoscopic viewers turned away from us even though there's images in them with a big do NOT touch begging me to adjust them. So no 4th star for them. Also check out the brief mention of the 45th president former home in the silent slide show in the back. $5 admission

Interesting historical home and replicas of early stores in Southampton Village. Free parking across the street and walking distance to village stores and restaurants.

Enjoyed strolling the grounds with the historical buildings. Greeter gave a nice introduction to the home and its owners. Period furnishings were cool. Art exhibit was mainly Jesus and Mary. Nice skeleton decor for Fall

Interesting historical artifacts, great paintings, référence library.
Tan A — Google review
This was not the typical touristy thing to do. We enjoyed learning about a little piece of Southampton's history. There was a suggested $5.00 donation for adults which was a real bargain considering the array of exhibits on display in the Museum.
Deborah K — Google review
They talk about this being a collection of buildings but I was not impressed with what I saw when we arrived. Each building has a mixture of original, reproduction, and some modern. Nothing like a place like Colonial Williamsburg. But the meuseum inside the house makes up for it. Free to visit the grounds, $5 for the house. Easy parking right across the street courtisy of the oldest Presbyterian Church in the US.

Loved this place, seeing art by local artists. Thanks so much, Diane, for showing me around. Enjoyed my visit and purchased a photo, gorgeous photo of the beach, to commemorate our visit to South Hampton.
Rebecca B — Google review
At the Southampton Arts Center, “Second Skin” really nails it—an honest response to what’s going on culturally right now, with artists from all kinds of backgrounds. Curated by the awesome Estrellita B. Brodsky, it explores clothing as a form of art. I loved “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” at The Met, but this show stuck with me even more. The pieces are super effective, and even while tackling heavy social issues, it somehow leaves you feeling hopeful—and even smiling. Thanks Christina Mossaides Strassfield, Executive Director of this Arts Center, and all the team. Can’t miss!!! Smart, moving, and it sticks with you—go see Second Skin.

Nice sculpture garden with the old Caesar busts. Inside the museum, the current exhibit was the works of: Sculptors - Elizabeth Strong Cuevas & Hal Buckner and painter - Deborah Buck. Amazing museum highlighting East End Artists. Worth a trip.

The Southampton Arts Center is an essential visit when in Southampton. Make sure to experience the shows, events, or simply appreciate the stunning grounds.

Enjoyed just eating outside looking at the Greek sculpture of Octavian and other ancient Greek leaders. Octavian, or Augustus Caesar is the main standing sculpture. Julius Caesar is the only one with 2 busts. Enjoyed the water feature as well. Great place outside.

Agawam Park is a charming destination located by the lake, offering a delightful playground for children and a vast lawn to relax on. Visitors can also enjoy watching ducks in the area. The park hosts various events throughout the year, including the upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration in February. Additionally, it is home to live music concerts organized by Southampton Cultural Center. Despite some environmental challenges, such as pollution in the pond, Agawam Park remains an attractive spot for locals and tourists alike.
Peaceful park on the Agawam Lake. Plenty of green space, a playground, picnic tables, restrooms and lots of parking. Bring the kids or grab some lunch and relax outside for a while. The little free library is the icing on the cake.

Beautiful park in Southampton Village. Small boardwalk at the inlet. Lots of bird poop so wear closed shoes.
Debbie P — Google review
Great neighborhood park that is well maintained, great grassy area for family or personal events or picnicking. Bathrooms were very clean and safe. The view of the water is very calming . Great varieties of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Also awesome library
Adele H — Google review
Very pleasant spot on clear, sunny days. Large field in the center, walled by bushes; contains memorial monuments & leads to benches to sit on by the left or right/front sides of it. Toward the large stone monument lay a really fine view of the water that lead out to the beach ahead. Contains a colorful playground area for kids with picnic tables residing by. If you wish for a well-rounded spot just for a pleasant day to relax and enjoy a small occasion with peers, this makes a nice spot in fine weather. Perhaps dates too as there are nearby restaurants just a walk away. It does not have any sports courts, however.
Dracobat10 — Google review
I've been coming here since I was tiny 🤗 It's a wonderful park! I haven't played in the playground in a long time, but it still looks fun. The monument is crumbling, so you can't hang out inside anymore, but it's still beautiful. The grass is beautiful. The pond is actually one of the most polluted bodies of water in the state (because of Suffolk county's infamous sewage treatment legacy) but it doesn't detract from the park.

Tate's Bake Shop is a charming bakery located in Southampton Village, Long Island, NY. It offers a variety of delectable baked goods including cakes, cookies, and more. The shop also caters to special dietary needs with its vegan and gluten-free options. Founded by Kathleen King, who started selling cookies as a pre-teen from her father's farmstand, Tate's has gained widespread recognition for its high-quality products.
A very nice surprise in Southampton. Tate's cookies are phenomenal but the store is great. Their coffee was delicious. Iced and hot, both are great. I recommend the Lavender Honey Iced. The scones are so good, raisin and also the apricot ginger. Fresh! Great atmosphere too. Go see them. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Ordered a muffin and some shortbreads. Muffin was average but the shortbreads rather tasty. You can buy all the pre-packaged Tate cookies down one block at Stop and Shop for half the price. I wish they make some store only cookies for us as gifts.
Benjamin S — Google review
I come here every year and the selection is always great and their deserts are phenomenal. If you are looking for fresh baked versions of the cookies you’d buy in the store, they don’t have them, but everything they do have will surpass your expectations.

This place has so many tasty treats beyond just green bags of cookies. The mushroom coffee is divine. The new Dubai chocolate chip was the breakfast of champions for me. Sit out on the patio while sipping on heaven.

Y’all I need sweets to live sorry I had to come here okay… I was just gonna get cookies but I may have gotten more… We all know Tate’s cookies, they’re crispy, crunchy, have the perfect amount of chocolate, YUM! But I did see they had a limited edition Mint Chocolate Chip flavor which I gasped at the sight of because I LOOOOVE MINTTTT. These had the perfect amount it kept the classic Tate’s cookie flavor and added a perfect essence of mint. Also got a brownie which was HELLA DENSE OMG like a solid brick like ZAYUMMM (this is a good thing) I also got fresh coffee crumble cake from the bakery which was FIRE. Equally soft on the bottom and crunchy on the top. Paired it with an iced goldenmilk latte which was beautiful and tasted pretty good but even better with some of the self serve simple syrup!

Wölffer Estate Vineyard is a long-standing winery estate that offers a stylish and airy tasting room, available by reservation only. Founded in 1988, this Sagaponack staple exudes an air of relaxed grandeur with its rustic-modern tasting room overlooking lush rows of glistening grapes. Visitors can savor a charcuterie board and a glass of the vineyard's signature Summer in a Bottle rosé while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy — the perfect mix of nature, vineyards, and great taste. The live music was amazing and set the mood for the whole evening. The wine was excellent — you can tell it’s made with care and passion. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Elijah B — Google review
It was okay! The Vineyard is gorgeous. Grounds beautiful! The food menu could use a bit more variety. Our server seemed rushed & a bit overwhelmed. We made reservations so sat immediately. The venue is extremely clean, even the restroom. For 4 of us our bill was $164, not bad all. Well one person was 9, so they had no alcoholic beverages lol just the entrees. There is plenty of parking. Once seated, we were served. The grounds were lovely. Not one of my favorites. Probably will not return again. But, I do recommend if you’ve never been. Good for groups, couples or even solo.
Amaala M — Google review
It was my first time visiting a winery, and it turned out to be a really great choice. The tasting selection was excellent, and the cheese plate was delicious, but most of all, the friendly staff and clean facilities made the experience perfect. On our way out, we bought several bottles of wine, and since there was a sale, we got them at a great price. I was surprised at how many people there were for a weekday, so I can only imagine how busy it must get on weekends. I’d definitely love to come back again!
Rina ( — Google review
Ive been passing by Wolffer Estate Vineyard thousand times but never went to the tasting room. I had guests from out of town and decided to visit. Wow! I had no idea what I was missing out! It felt like we came to different country! The tasting room that opens up to the view of the vineyard was just gorgeous. It felt magical to share rose and cider with good friends. Fall is more beautiful with less summer crowds. Love the feeling of chilly fall breeze. We ordered flat breads and other finger food, rose and different ciders. They were all delicious! We came back home with bunch of beautiful rose, white wine and ciders. Highly recommend to visit Wolfer when you are passing by Hampton area.
Amy K — Google review
We had an amazing day at Wölffer Estate today. Our tour guide Fairley was entertaining and knowledgeable, she kept us laughing all day 😊 From our private tasting table and snacks under the vines, learning about the different types of trellising, how the grapes are processed, and more tastings in the barrel room, we had an amazing and memorable day. We are looking forward to our future visits. We loved the wine and atmosphere so much, we signed up for the wine club and took a few bottles home.
Alexandra M — Google review
Vince was a great tour guide, knowledgable about everything from the agriculture, history, and wine making process. He handled all our questions with a friendly and passionate attitude and showed us all the parts of the vineyard. The property is quite beautiful. The tasting started with snacks in the dining room and progressed to the wine cellar.
Matthew G — Google review
We had such a wonderful time at the vineyard! We were a large group of friends, and everyone had an amazing time. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views all around. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel very welcome. The wines were excellent — each one had its own unique flavor and story. It was the perfect place for friends to gather, unwind, and enjoy great company. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The Parrish Art Museum, located in Long Island's East End, has a rich history dating back to 1897. Initially a small art gallery, it has evolved into one of the leading art museums in the United States. The museum houses over 2,600 works by renowned modern and contemporary artists such as Dan Flavin, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jackson Pollock.
Great museum, beautiful space with incredible architecture. Always good shows there. I suggest getting a snack from the cafe and a beverage and sitting outside along the wall. Great date spot. Also if you have SNAP/EBT card you get in for free!
Jj — Google review
Very nice exhibit with a wide variety of art; sculpture, photography, painting, etc. I also liked the architecture of the building. The two young employees were not particularly welcoming. The young lady at the counter seemed perturbed that I interrupted her social media scrolling while I was buying a book from the gift shop.
Alberto V — Google review
Lovely building. It’s huge but I feel like one or two galleries are always closed or filled with stuff for kids so a high price to pay for two exhibits. But a great focus on local artists, of which there are many, along with the dedication to student art on our last visit.
Zachary S — Google review
It’s a beautiful space, but I have mixed feelings about how clear the website is when they are transitioning some of the exhibits. I went the week before Easter and the only thing open was a young adult art exhibit. That wasn’t super clear on the website and I assumed the permanent collection would also be on view. They do offer a small discount of $16 vs $20 when they are rotating the galleries. I would recommend calling in advance to ensure the galleries are open that you want to see.
World T — Google review
Amazing galleries focused on limited artists offers in depth views of their work. Lovely cafe, well stocked gift shop.
Annie F — Google review
we went there on a weekend. the place was split into two sides. for first side of the place, we were told that half of the displays were under construction. and the other side of the museum was assigned to an event. so you don’t have much to see.

Mashomack Preserve, a 2,039-acre coastal nature reserve on Shelter Island, is a hidden gem protected by The Nature Conservancy and local advocates. This pristine land features oak woodlands, tidal creeks, and freshwater marshes. Visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities such as scenic hiking trails and educational events. The preserve offers various hiking options with well-maintained trails that lead through shaded forests, grass fields, and tidal marshes.
Beautiful hiking trails. I saw a turtle summer bathing :) lots of birds. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a bathroom at the entry/exit! Long trails and short trails- grab a map and explore. Tons of benches along the way if you want to rest.
Jade Z — Google review
Indeed, one of the best Nature Conservancy preserves, it combines multiple landscapes in one hike from woods to meadows to bay shores. I have visited on early September weekday (ample parking was available in mid-afternoon) and hiked red and green trails making a loop. Meadow/shore views are gorgeous, maybe best in Long Island (comparing to Caumsett and Connetquot state parks, for instance). Nature center was opened with lots of info about Shelter Island and trailhead had printed trail maps (rarity these days).
Mike Z — Google review
Mashomack Preserve is a quiet park with many trails filed with wildlife and plants. Very beautiful and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Hamptons or North Fork. Even a place to plug in an EV. Visitor Center is great with many displays, a kids corner and bathrooms. Big parking lot otherwise and picnic tables. Definitely go off your paying by while on Shelter Island.
Millie K — Google review
What a beautiful nature preserve. It is well marked with a variety of trails. It was a gorgeous fall day which added to our enjoyment. Parking is limited so many people were parked along the sides of the main road as you approach the entrance.
Harper V — Google review
Beautiful site to hike, even in the winter. It might be the better time to visit as the tourist population of the island is so low. They have some fairly easy hikes, at varying distances to choose from. I think we ended up hiking around 6 miles all counted. The only real difficulty was how muddy some parts of the trail were, due to the recent rains.
Rex D — Google review
So beautiful! We did red to green to brown. It was so scenic and peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife, including this big turkey and also a muskrat swimming in the pond by the manor! Def take the hike
Kyla — Google review
Absolutely stunning nature walk! Saw a lot of wildlife along the way :) However, it was abounding in ticks. Even while constantly staying on the main path, I had to during our ca. 8 mile walk, brush off at least 40 ticks. And at home while checking myself I had 4 more crawling on me. (I wore long pants, which is probably why I didn't notice them - my friends wore shorts, and while brushing several off during the walk, none of them could find any on them once checking back home). So bring repellent! And wear shorts, do you can spot any ticks crawling on your legs.

LongHouse Reserve, located in East Hampton, NY, is a 16-acre garden and sculpture park offering a serene escape from the beach scene. Visitors can explore various gardens including the vibrant Red Garden designed by founder Jack Lenor Larsen. The reserve features permanent and seasonal artworks, Peters Pond with water lilies and lotus plants, as well as outdoor art installations. Guided tours are available for those interested in learning more about the sculptures and gardens.
What a beautiful place.!! It was a rainy day when we went, but it was even better like this. The whole reserve is well maintained and in excellent conditions. I really admire the talent of every artist that created all the beautiful art pieces. Felt so peaceful and great energy walking through every part of it.

I went on a Wednesday and there wasn’t anybody at the door so it was donation only. Since they only had cash and no QR code I wasn’t able to donate. The space itself was absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are meticulously cared for and I enjoyed all the artwork. I’m not sure the rules but it would be a great space for a picnic lunch if they allow it.The best thing is there are tons of benches everywhere so you can just sit and enjoy the moment. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful outdoor spaces. Beautifully landscaped flower gardens among tall trees. Meandering paths to really nice area to just sit and exhale until the parents come with their loud unruly children....but it's easy enough to find another peaceful spot. This is probably the best place to visit in all of the Hamptons for sure.

I recently visited LongHouse Reserve and had a wonderful experience. This beautiful park is perfect for a peaceful stroll, taking about an hour and a half to walk through. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds, as it gets busier later in the day. The parking area is quite small, so coming early also ensures you find a spot easily. The art installations scattered throughout the park are average, but the botanical elements are truly incredible. The variety of plants and well-maintained gardens create a serene atmosphere that's perfect for nature lovers. Overall, LongHouse Reserve is a lovely destination for a leisurely walk and a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle. Must!
Kristina Z — Google review
Absolutely stunning garden. A lovely place to relax, especially on a nice day when plants are in bloom.
Alexandra T — Google review
I came here on a gorgeous day over Memorial Day weekend with two others. The reserve was not crowded, there was plenty of parking, and was very tranquil. We did a docent tour with an amazing and extremely knowledgeable guide. There are so many obvious and subtle pieces of outdoor through the property so take your time to soak it all in. I highly recommend visiting the LongHouse Reserve as it is a lovely and almost magical experience. I cannot wait to go back.
David H — Google review
Beautifully designed park, located in a quiet location, that will teleport you into a peaceful world. I would highly suggest visiting this place.
Nakul M — Google review
Unique combination of botanical and sculpture gardens. For me botanical and landscaping components of the reserve out-weighed the art part though. Variety of landscapes are packed into the acreage of the site. Visited on early September weekday, found ample parking and relatively few fellow visitors. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring grounds, allocate 1-2 hours to view everything.

Duck Walk Vineyard, established in 1994 by wine pioneer and founder of Pindar Vineyards, Dr Herodotus Dan Damianos, is a family-owned vineyard with two locations open for tastings. The flagship winery in Water Mill features a chateau-style building and the North Fork location was added in 2007. Visitors can enjoy live music every Saturday and Sunday from May to October while sipping on their wines and taking in beautiful views.
If you’re heading out to the Hamptons, Duck Walk Vineyard is a great spot to stop and relax for a bit. The wine tasting is $16 for four pours, and they have a nice variety of reds, whites, and rosés to choose from. They also offer charcuterie boards with cheese, crackers, olives, and spreads—good for snacking while you taste. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas, and they usually have live music on the weekends. The atmosphere is really laid-back and easygoing. Whether you’re with friends, on a date, or just looking to unwind, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Lauren S — Google review
If you were looking for a low-key vineyard without the usual hoity-toity Hamptons crowd, this is your spot. I liked it better than the other fancier vineyards. We went to that were overpriced and felt uptight. This Vineyard had some of the best wines at the most affordable prices and lots of snacks to choose from or you can bring your own. They have tons of outdoor seating and we’ve even brought a game and hung out there all afternoon. It would also be a great one if you wanted to bring your kids. Very laid-back and the staff was lovely and knowledgeable!
World T — Google review
We had a wonderful time visiting Duck Yard Vineyard. The tasting included four wines, and the staff pouring them were kind and personable, making the experience enjoyable. There was also live music, which added a nice touch, though the placement made it difficult to really hear the performance. One note is that when we first called, the person who answered came across a bit rude, but once we arrived, the experience was lovely. Overall, it’s a beautiful vineyard and we still had an amazing time.
Zahara W — Google review
Nice, laid back atmosphere. It's a smaller vineyard than the original but it's nice to have a flight or two and then have a picnic in the back overlooking the grape field with a bottle of your favorite flavor.
Melinda R — Google review
Pit stop at a wine vineyard on the way to Montauk is a good idea. I guess it is off season now so not a lot of people on Saturday plus I get there early. Even it in September but the weather is still very hot. We get wine testing course $16 each not include some snacks. Live music on, poor puppy is so hot but they have cold water so it help a lot. Nice sipping wine and see peaceful view.
Melissa N — Google review
I love this place for spending a good time with my friends, enjoying wine, and sometimes they have live music. Their wines are really good.
Lisbeth P — Google review
This winery has so much potential. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a stunning outdoor patio that makes for a perfect afternoon. The wine itself is excellent; we were particularly impressed with the Cabernet and planned to purchase several bottles. Unfortunately, the experience was soured at the very end. About 15 minutes before closing, a staff member announced they would be closing soon. A few minutes later, still within their posted business hours, we went to re-enter the building from the patio to use the restroom and buy wine. We found the only door locked. After we knocked, the same older woman appeared, grumpily asked "yes girls??" and told us to walk down a grassy hill and around to the front to exit. We explained we were leaving but just needed to come inside briefly. She reluctantly let us in but maintained a grumpy, dismissive attitude, telling us to hurry up. We used the restroom but decided against giving them any more of our business. Overall experience: The Cabernet had lovely notes of black currant, but the service had displeasing notes of rudeness, leaving quite a bad after taste. A suggestion for management: please keep patio access open until the official closing time and ensure staff communicate with guests in a more welcoming manner. Allowing customers to make last-minute purchases or use the facilities during business hours should be standard practice. A great product can't make up for poor service.

The Big Duck, a famous landmark in Flanders, New York, is a must-see attraction that dates back to the 1930s. This iconic 20-foot structure shaped like a giant Peking duck was originally used as a shop for poultry and duck eggs. Today, it houses a mini museum and gift shop operated by the Friends for Long Island Heritage. The exterior of The Big Duck is particularly captivating, especially at night when the eyes light up from a Model T.
Had to check out this historic landmark while in town and it didn’t disappoint. Kristen was super knowledgeable and oh so helpful in explaining the history. We had to purchase a few trinkets and snap a few pics. Such a fun local outing with quite a few binders filled with newspaper clippings detailing the historical timeline of the big duck, the many homes it has had to now finally being back home where it all began. If you’re a history buff you’ll especially love this aspect. Cheers 🥂
AVERY W — Google review
Fun, eclectic, and memorable! The Big Duck is such a quirky roadside stop. You can take lots of fun photos outside with the giant duck, but make sure to go inside too. It’s like a mini museum where you can learn about Long Island’s history and duck farming past. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever out east on Long Island.
Anonymous R — Google review
The lady inside was very knowledgable and kind :)... There is also a skylight by the entrance into the attic where you can see the interior of the ducky (and the spiders/classic attic stuff inside hehe). Memorable experience and great novelty building. We need more whimsy in this world, more fun and unique architecture-- rather than just more giant screens / corporate gray slop. Long live Long Island Big Ducky 🦆

Unfortunately we visit when the store and duck himself were closed. Still SO cool to see. We took some pictures and can’t wait to come back!!

It said it was open on the roadside sign, but the shop was closed for lunch at 2.30pm with no mention of when they'd be back. Really gutted as I've been wanting to visit for ages and was finally visiting Long Island from California. The duck was still awesome but I'd promised my duck-collecting goddaughter I'd bring her something back. Got some great photos for her, so that'll have to do. Really disappointed.

You must stop by to see this famous duck! It houses a nice museum and gift shop full of fun souvinners, post cards, etc. We had lots of fun here.

It is in fact a big duck. Very nice. If you want something interesting to stare at for a few minutes I highly recommend. I actually got duck donuts and ate them by the big duck to complete the experience. 🦆

Cute little gift shop and a piece of Long Island history. I haven't been there in years but it was nice to visit it as an adult. We would visit it when I was younger and it was actually a duck farm.

My husband and I got married here on 9.5.2025 and had the best experience working with Duck Walk! The staff is awesome, location is beautiful, the caterer they work with East End Events Catering was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to book their wedding venue!

Loved the atmosphere at Duckwalk, but the wines were disappointing. My friends and I came on Thursday and LOVED the woman in the tasting room - she was so friendly and welcoming! The indoor and outdoor areas are both great. Unfortunately, we got 4 flights of all different wines and did not finish more than 1 or 2 of the wines. We prefer semi-sweet, dry, or full-bodied wines, and we found most of the wines to be very sweet and not drinkable. Great pricing and great atmosphere, but wish there were more dry wines available.
Lauren B — Google review
Went with my friends to celebrate our girl's birthday. Arrived after 3 pm and on a Monday, so the place was pretty empty. But Gina was very helpful in explaining which wines we would like based on our individual preferences. Was able to bring some cheese and veggies in, too. We enjoyed ourselves despite the rain we had. Would recommend but during the week is probably better than the weekend.

Loved this place. Great people. Great food. Great wine. Happy Mother’s Day. Highly recommend. That steak we had yesterday at the Mother’s Day buffet, the best I’ve ever head. Malbec was incredible.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding. Our daughter got married at this incredible venue September 5th 2025. It was magical. We can’t say enough about the place. The vines were so pretty and the gazebo was the perfect place for the ceremony. The lighting in the dining room is stunning. The giant comfortable bridal sweet was gorgeous. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. It was a perfect wedding and they set it up so beautifully. Communication was always easy. Answering all of our many questions immediately. We were so lucky to be able to have the wedding at Duckwalk. They really gave the dream wedding

Went to Duck Walk this weekend with old old High school friends! We were treated so well. The girls behind the bar were gracious, knowledgeable, and ever so nice. The guitar player was nice background music we could enjoy and still talk to each other. The owner stopped by several times to see how we were. The wine was very nice! We enjoyed the lay back ambiance. Simple and perfect!!

Foster Memorial Beach, also known as Long Beach, is a mile-long stretch of pebble-strewn sand along Noyac Bay in Sag Harbor. It's a popular spot for families due to its calm waters and easy beach access. The gentle waves make it ideal for kids and activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. Additionally, the beach offers picnic facilities, restrooms, and ample day-rate parking.
Came here for a nostalgic trip. This was my favorite beach in the 70s and 80s. It still retains its magic to this day. Clean, quiet, and beautiful.

Foster Memorial Beach, also known as Long Beach, is a serene and inviting spot in Sag Harbor that offers a more relaxed alternative to the oceanfront beaches of the Hamptons. Stretching along the calm waters of Noyac Bay, it’s perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying a quiet walk by the shore. The shallow waters make it especially family-friendly, and the sunsets here are absolutely spectacular, painting the sky with warm colors over the bay. The beach is clean, well-kept, and has a peaceful, local atmosphere without the heavy crowds found at bigger destinations. Parking is available, though a permit is typically required during peak season. Whether you’re looking to spend the day on the water, have a picnic with friends, or just unwind with a beautiful view, Foster Memorial Beach is a hidden gem that captures the laid-back charm of the Hamptons.

Alyssa and this little store is a gem hidden on Main St. in Southampton. An incredible space with unbelievable history and thoughtfully crafted jewelry. Alyssa’s pieces are just as one of a kind as the space they originate from, and how else could it be coming from such an original like herself! I have bought several rings and a bracelet, I wear them all with pride. She is so knowledgeable and the service she is able to provide her clients is unmatched in its intimacy when it comes to working with her to design something custom.

There is ample parking available with free weekday parking and a weekend permit fee. Set against picturesque sand dunes, this beach is popular among tourists due to its convenient location and the availability of dining options nearby.
This is a nice beach with a decent-sized parking lot, clean bathhouse and a place to buy food and beach accessories (chairs, boogie boards, etc.) The lifeguards were very attentive and made sure that everyone was safe. The surf was very rough on the day I visited, yet swimming was still allowed, which I appreciated. Parking was $40/day for a non-resident.

Every time I travel home to the Hamptons, I like to ride over the ponquybridge to check out the ocean and then ride down to the jetty/I let. There's usually always a nice breeze and I will stop at the local bakery and grab me a roll and just check out the water and the boats. This was my first stop on my last trip home.

Simply beautiful. Clean white sand and nice waves. We went the weekend after Labor day and the water was perfect temperature for swimming. Family friendly and we even saw people walking dogs. Lifeguard not on duty the days we went. Changing rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice. There's a booth to pay for parking, but it was closed both weekend days we went, so free! I guess it stops at Labor Day.

Clean white sand. Plenty parking area. $30/day parking. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. Ladies room had about 4 changing rooms. 4 total Showers outside. Bathroom closes at 5pm. Lifeguards on site but they leave at 5pm. Long shoreline, beautiful. The day I went was sunny but windy so ocean was wavy. Watch the wind forecast. I recommend all beaches along that coastline. Minimum seaweeds on the shore. Clean shore.
Mamta B — Google review
Love this beach so much all year round, except when the biting flies are out and about lol Must have a resident sticker till 9pm during beach season or pay $25 bucks for the day to park. If you don't, you'll be ticketed over and over again by the bay constable until you move your car, unlike other places in the city where you can remain parked once you get a ticket. So be warned! One really annoying thing is that people bring their dogs during off hours and some will bury their dogs waste in the sand instead of picking it up... If you're gonna own a dog... Own all of it, people!!! Still this beach has some awesome sand and great views of the ocean, amazing sunsets and equally beautiful full moon and stars view at night too! Multiple parking areas but one central area with spaces for bikes and electric cars and life guards and a hot and cold food shack with shower and bathroom facilities that was all rebuilt last year and looks beautiful..

First time there, during the pandemic. At first I was really impressed The water was a little dirty but we enjoyed it anyway. The only problem I had is with the people who were sitting all over each other with absolutely NO SOCIAL DISTANCING! It’s extremely important during this time and unfortunately my bf and I had to move twice because people were all over our space. I mean, there are so many signs for keeping up with the social distancing, and still people don’t Follow it.

Meschutt Beach is a family-friendly beach with a playground, picnic spots, and food concessions. It offers sweeping views of the Peconic Bay and activities like windsurfing and sailing. While it may be rockier than other Hamptons beaches, it's perfect for a relaxing day in the sun or a fun-filled afternoon with family. The area also features Tiki Joes serving fried food and drinks right on the beach, making it a popular summer spot in Hampton Bays.
We love this beach. The water is shallow and great for kids. Very little waves as this is the bay. Nice shells and smooth sand. Parking is $18 if your not from the area. Defiantly a hidden gem.

Cost $18 to Park but it was an enjoyable visit. They were open bathrooms. The parking lot is small and next to the beach So no having to trrk a mile dragging all your stuff. I would wear pink shoes or Crocs because there are a lot of rocks. But the water is relatively clean and relatively calm which makes it enjoyable for young kids and less stressful for parents. Lots of beautiful rocks and shells. The food was also overpriced and not that great but the french fries were good. And at least they do have food for sale however you can pack and bring a cooler onto the beach. Definitely my most enjoyable beach trip of the summer.

Shinnecock East County Park is a hidden gem that offers an unspoiled beach experience where the Atlantic Ocean meets Shinnecock Inlet. This rugged, undeveloped park is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of more commercialized beaches. While traditional tent camping isn't allowed, self-contained campers can enjoy one of the 100 outer-beach sites in their RVs or vehicles.
This park is good for 4*4 off-roading on the beach since sand is full of small stones compared to cupsogue beach county park. Park is great for fishing, and the best time to visit is in winter or early spring. It seems like some renovation is going on at the park entrance.

3 stars explained at the end..Camping on the beach over labor day weekend was great. No hook ups so you have to fill your fresh water tanks and have a generator running. The bayside is calm and tranquil people love fishing off the rocks. The ocean side is beautiful. Its my favorite beach on the island. It is deep into suffolk county but well worth the drive. You get some of the most gorgeous Sunsets.. The 3 stars is from the beach and camping area being closed down or the limited access granted because of the idiots that can not follow rules when the piping Plovers are nesting and hatching. The county should go after and punish the idiots that can not follow basic instructions like saying of the dunes... Stop punishing the vast majority becuase of the small small small minority..

Very poorly run and managed. They canceled our site days before our trip only to say that it wasn't guaranteed. What a disappointment. Terrible customer service. They hung up on me twice while I was trying to get information about my reservation. You have to make two reservations to make sure you can stay here.

Nice beach. Few people there. Looks like the best kept secret. It is a County park, so not subjected to the crazy prices of the Hamptons. Clean beach but rough waves. Looks like amazing for surfing (that I do not do) or just chill and have fun by the nice sand. Parking $7 for residents with Green Key or $15 for visitors. Very reasonable.

The staff is accommodating and knowledgeable, providing fantastic experiences whether you're a beginner or experienced paddler. Enjoy sunset paddles with beautiful views and even consider joining a yoga class on the water.
Loved this place. Knowledgeable and considerate. Great area for food and entry right there for kayaks, along the marsh.

Don’t waste your time with this group. Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate. We booked an 11 am tour. They emailed us and told us they double booked and could push us back to 11:30. We accommodated them. We showed up 15 minutes in advance like we were asked. They made us wait an extra half an hour.. Knowing we were waiting they intentionally dragged out the group ahead of us taking pictures. When they returned we were then told we couldn’t go because the wind was too strong. And instead of profusely apologizing for their poor business practices we were given excuses and had to wait for our refund. Find another group to give your business.

Had a blast and the service was awesome. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Our group of 7 had an amazing time with Cheryl, Sue, and their assistant, whose name I cannot remember. We originally planned for all 7 to stand-up paddle board, but Cheryl was very accommodating when a few wanted to switch to kayak. Our sunset paddle was beautiful around the bay. A little windy but that didn’t take away from the fun! We even got to see a horseshoe crab and a small turtle. Next time, we’d plan to go when Dockers Waterside is open so we can enjoy the rest of the sunset with a meal and drink! Thanks for an amazing time!

My 12 year old son and I took a lesson this morning with Thomas. It was a fantastic experience. We just purchased paddleboards and wanted to learn the basics. The Milk Pail is a well-known destination with three locations in the Hamptons, offering apple picking and a variety of other produce. The farm has been a part of the Halsey family's heritage since the 1640s and continues to be run by later generations. Visitors can enjoy fresh apples, pears, peaches, berries, and more at their market on Montauk Highway or pick their own at the U-Pick Farm on Horsemill Lane.

The Catholic Church Our Lady of Poland RC Southampton in Southampton Village is known for its warm and appreciative church members who greet visitors upon arrival. The church offers a diverse mass schedule, including English Mass on Saturdays at 5:00PM and Sundays at 6:30AM, 9:30AM, and 12PM. Additionally, there are Polish Masses on Sundays at 8:00AM and 10:45AM.
A very beautiful little Catholic Church with evidently a strong parish community and caring Polish pastor
Alan H — Google review
"The Little Church That Could" is my nickname for this 100-year-old parish church where my parents married in 1957. Mass is offered in both Polish and English languages. If you are fortunate to have Father Janusz celebrate mass for you, his warm and embracing welcome will make you smile. He bears an uncanny resemblance to his former college professor, Pope Saint John Paul II. Whether it is his voice, kind expressions and gestures or a genuine desire to engage the people in their faith, Our Lady of Poland are indeed fortunate to have him as their Pastor. If you find yourself in need of compassion, a more intimate connection to your faith and or want a real sense of community, Our Lady of Poland has much to offer. There are often church socials, coffee after mass, visiting priests from Poland, and on May 5, at the 10:30 am mass, the Auxillary Bishop will visit, install and bless a first-class relic of Pope Saint John Paul II that Father Janusz requested. At Christmas time the Church comes even more alive with a fantastic alter display complete with twinkling star. But one of my favorite experiences came on Christmas Eve when members of the parish gathered for dinner mid-day. Serving a traditional Polish menu, folks came and enjoyed this special day together. And Father Janusz sends you home with his blessings and a goody bag to enjoy. Some people look upon participating in religious activities as something they are asked to give to again and again, yet, each week I leave Our Lady of Poland feeling grateful for so much I have received. It is truly a blessing. The Church is ideally located just one block south of the Southampton Railroad Station. So if you can visit for the day, begin here and enjoy the quaint Village and beaches too!
Jacqueline V — Google review
Our Lady of Poland RC Church is a Catholic treasure. Father Janusz is kind, humble and as authentic of a human being as one can be. This church is a gift to the community. Church of St. Rosalie is an impressive parish that has gained a reputation for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful church . Rhe church ministry is really kind and merciful.
Gustavo P — Google review
The light streaming through the stained glass windows of St. Rosalie's Church in Hampton Bays is like a whispered secret, a gentle revelation of beauty and faith. The colors dance across the sanctuary, a soft murmur of devotion that seems to seep into the very fabric of the space. The music ministry is the heartbeat of the church, a pulsing rhythm that underscores the quiet moments of reflection and the grand gestures of celebration. It's a symphony of faith, a harmonious blend of voices and instruments that lifts the spirit and nourishes the soul. In this sacred space, time stands still, and the world's din and chaos recede. This church is a refuge, a sanctuary where the faithful gather to seek solace, guidance, and peace. It's a beautiful place where the boundaries between past and present blur, where tradition and innovation entwine, and where the beauty of the human spirit is on full display, illuminating and uplifting!

Over the past four decades, Robert Dash, an artist and writer, created a verdant encyclopedia of gardening on two acres of land in Sagaponack. This enchanting place showcases a blend of architectural styles like Tudor, High Renaissance, early Greek, and Oriental influences. Situated at Conscience Point Historic Site & Nature Walk in Southampton since 1640—a significant location among the three Shinnecock camps—it marks the initial landing spot for settlers.

This is one of the three sites of the Shinnecock camps and first landing spot in Southampton 1640. As you drive on North Sea Road, heading to the beach, this location is just at the last left turn you make before reaching the beach. It comes after the Marina. There are a few story boards here to read. Otherwise, this is mostly a respite spot to enjoy the views. Be a great Eagle or Gold Scout award project to put in some benches, birdhouses and some grasses.

Great stop along the way east. We enjoyed the quilt show that takes place seasonally in addition to the permanent collection. What stood out most was a memorial wall to local military and paramilitary servicemembers from the local area. If you enjoy history plan to visit!

Staff is very friendly , restrooms are clean and they have paddle boat rentals that you can take out on the pond and try and catch some fish or just relax and enjoy the nature view and wildlife !! If you are a camper you must try this campground !! BE AWARE ALOT OF TICKS WAY TOO MANY !!!! They need to spray or something I have never been to a campground ever in my life with this many ticks. We had to cut our trip short due to the tick infestations.
Zack T — Google review
Nice campsites. Campfires are allowed but no firepits....so bring your own. Nice lake but the dogs can’t swim because of snapping turtles. Wish they could do something about the ticks. The staff seemed very laid back which is cool because many Suffolk Parks have annoying militant staff members enforcing their ridiculous rules.

I enjoy bringing my 4 kids here for hikes in any weather. This last time we saw an eagle, fox, and snake. Always exciting to see the wildlife. And the smell of the pines...it's just the best!
Hope K — Google review
I was there camping in the group area and it's a nice hike you can do 6-10 or more miles and some larger trails go through here.. and it's interesting if you know the science about glacially created kettle holes and the whole idea that a forest of pine trees is different and it's part of our central recharge area for the water going back into the ground for our aquifers. I was told you used to be able to swim in the pond but I don't mind and I think you also can use a kayak and other similar things in the pond in the main part of the park. I only dinged one star because it's an OK and pretty good camp ground but nothing exciting in the bathroom isn't amazing but OK. I would expect more than 2 toilets in the men's room.

The jungle gym is great for all kids. The trails are fun to walk, and you can ride your bike or scooter around the paved walkways throughout. Wonderful Thursday night concerts in the summer.
Brittany R — Google review
Great place, I went here when I was younger to play on the playground. Nowadays I love going through the trails and I love going through the new route going from there to that nearby dead end

Wonderful park to take your pets friends or family for some outdoor activities. Many ball fields, racket sports courts for tennis and pickleball, areas for hiking trails, dog areas.

33Red Creek Skate Park

Skatepark
Red Creek Skate Park is an exceptional facility with multiple turf fields equipped with functioning scoreboards, as well as tennis and basketball courts. It also features a well-maintained running and walking trail, along with a children's playground. The park welcomes pets and even houses an animal shelter on its premises. Safety precautions are taken seriously at this establishment, requiring helmets and pads for all visitors. While there is a small fee of $10 for non-residents, the smooth floor surface ensures an enjoyable experience.
Nice park with a lot of options. Playground on site, tennis/basketball courts, baseball fields, an amazing trail and an animal shelter. Bring bug spray .
Kris N — Google review
Was there with my kids and dogs in the park and got kicked out. Was there max of 30 minutes. Person that came out of the shelter spoke to me in a nasty tone in front of my kids!! Why not pull me to the side! My little kids kept asking me are we not welcomed and was he being rascist. I was there with my puppies, since no kids were at the park area there was no sign stating no dogs. That person stared at me like a hawk while I physically left with my car from the park. There were people walking their dog and I guess I couldnt even do that either. My kids couldn’t enjoy there time there. My kids and I felt discriminated and unwelcome back. Will never go back here!

pickleball courts are phenomenal! tennis courts & skate park is great. the walking trail is tick INFESTED. took one walk and found 7 ticks after; 2 bit my dog, 1 bit my husband. do not walk that trail without serious protection.

Great place to run and hit the pull-up bars with your dogs!!!!

Helmet and pads required. $10 for out of towners. The floor is smooth. Ramps do need work but it's not horrible conditions. The quarter ramps are actually steep so I skip. But they do have a mini piece where you can practice anything. Cant beat that
Eric — Google review
Fun little park with a skatelite kidney bowl. Has a street course and some ramps as well. Fun, not A grade but it will do.
DAVID C — Google review
No bikes aloud after driving 40 minutes...I mean unreal. Parks manager told me no bikes and I asked why and he just walked away. Definitely don’t recommend going here. Horrible ramps screws everywhere and holes in every ramp with loose slats especially the bowl.
Concrete C — Google review
Overall park is good. Trails are nice and 2 parks for little little ones and one for bigger little ones. Bathrooms need serious updating and make sure you wear bugspray, ticks are a serious issue in this area.

34David A. Sarnoff Preserve

Nature preserve
If you're in search of a refreshing outdoor adventure, the David A. Sarnoff Preserve in Riverhead is an excellent choice for hiking enthusiasts. This picturesque location offers miles of sandy trails winding through tranquil pine forests, where you can immerse yourself in nature under towering oak, maple, and pine trees. The serene atmosphere is enhanced by lush ferns and moss-covered rocks that dot the landscape.
Let’s just say I had a GOOD TIME! The SCENEry was so INVIGORATING! The other park goers were VERY FRIENDLY! I even made a very handsome friend… I will be going back for sure!
Jasen K — Google review
Pretty nice walk, mainly used for hunting so the real time I would want to hike here you aren't able to. There were 8-10 little ticks found off of me and my father each when we got out. Thankfully my high, tight socks prevented them from going anywhere on my legs. I would spray a lot of bug spray just to be sure.
Michael K — Google review
Went for a family hike. Instead of a 40 min trail it took us 2.5 hours. We got looped around 3x because of poor signage on the red trail. Don’t recommend.
Marina T — Google review
I recently went to the pine barrens with my boyfriend, his sister and our dog. We were excited to hike the trails for a few hours but about thirty minutes in we noticed hundreds, if not thousands, of tick larvae climbing all over us. They completely consumed our clothes, open skin areas, dogs fur, etc. (see picture below) None of us have ever experienced something like this, with such a mass amount of ticks, so we called the emergency line. The woman who answered noted that we should have worn tick spray and had no further advice or words of wisdom. We spent hours researching the best ways to rid ourselves of these parasites, showering, bug bombing, and cleaning. Needless to say, I do not recommend.
Taylor K — Google review
It's the pine barrens and gets a little monotonous scenery wise. Many sections are too thick with brush to head off trail. Ticks are rampant. Lots of wintergreen and blueberry bushes. Some very pretty areas scattered about amidst the pines. Lots of shed antlers. But if anything you plan on doing involves going off the trail, expect to be covered ticks. The nymphs (baby ticks) are almost microscopic and yes they still can carry lyme disease at such a young age.
Sail R — Google review
I run the trails here. Hilly and fun. Red is 4 mile loop and red to white to yellow to red is roughly 6/6.2. Great route.
Ryan A — Google review
First off, thank you RCA for donating this land to NYS to establish the preserve. Unfortunately, the DEC blue loop trail is getting overgrown and needs better maintenance. I would only recommend this trail for hiking in the winter (not Dec or Jan due to hunting) and definitely avoid it during tick season. The yellow connector trail is fine. The Paumanok Trail looks to be well-maintained through the preserve. Would recommend taking that trail instead. If the blue trail was better maintained, it would be a nice trail through the pine barrens. Too bad budget cuts have made it difficult for the DEC to maintain their trails. They should sponsor more trail maintenance with volunteer support. There is also a red loop DEC trail that hopefully is better maintained that goes through the Pine Barrens and by the old RCA radio tower antennae platforms from @ the 1950s.

Exquisite, peaceful walk under mature 60 foot oak, maple and pine trees along trails studded with ferns and mossy rocks. In the distance, the off line Shoreham nuclear power plant is visable, painted torquoise and sky blue, a minimal intrusion to the perfect natural landscape . A lovely north shore treasure. Edited mid summer 2020: HIGH TICK ALERT IN all areas on the North Shore. Wear long pants, tucked into socks. Wear long sleeves. Use DEET (Deep Woods OFF) for added protection. Updated September 2020. Do not enter these woods without complete protection against ticks. Use a product like like DEEP WOODS OFF. Tuck pant legs into socks, wear long sleeve shirts. Wear a hat. Immediately after leaving, do a thorough tick check on you and any companions.

Nestled on 10 acres of serene Shinnecock land, The Watermill Center is a vibrant hub for experimental art, founded by the visionary theater director Robert Wilson in 1992. This unique space not only hosts an artist-in-residency program but also boasts an impressive collection of over 8,000 artifacts and a dynamic educational initiative. Visitors can explore the grounds through guided tours that showcase its stunning architecture, diverse art collection, and well-stocked study library.
I attended Artists’ Table at the Watermill Center on September 28, 2024. It was awesome. This was my second Artists’ Table event and I was very happy to be at both. I also attended Open Spaces on October 12, 2024. That was a fun day!

Museum
The Southampton African American Museum (SAAM) is an institution that showcases the rich cultural heritage and history of the African American community in Southampton. It serves as a platform to exhibit and preserve artifacts, documents, and stories that highlight the significant contributions made by African Americans throughout history. SAAM stands as a testament to the resilience, creativity, and achievements of this community, providing visitors with an opportunity to gain insight into their struggles and triumphs.
It was an amazing last minute connection with a childhood friend at our hometown "Southampton African American Museum" she is the Founder/Executive Director, who filled a lot of unknown history of our ancestors that helped build in Southampton Long Island and surrounding counties. Got a wonderful opportunity to run by Mr Randy Conquest, one of the former owners of this Historic Landmark in Southampton, NY

I was really looking forward to visiting the museum for this trip. We arrived at quarter to 1 pm on Saturday to a closed museum, lights off and no one answering the phone; just a long outgoing message about all the amazing exhibits located in the museum. It was not a holiday weekend. If the museum doesn't get a lot of visitors, might I suggest that a reservation system is implemented so that staff would only need to be there when guests are expected. Very disappointed.

The Peter Marino Art Foundation in Southampton is celebrating its fifth season with an impressive exhibition featuring 90 captivating works by renowned German photographer Wolfgang Tillmans, all meticulously curated by Marino himself. Additionally, the foundation showcases "Vienna 1900 Art & Decorating," highlighting masterpieces from iconic artists like Gustav Klimt and Josef Hoffman.
I saw Sanford Biggers art - it was a fascinating blend of Roman sculptures and traditional African masks and other aspects in a mind-expanding exhibit.

I have been a visitor to Southampton for many years. This week is the first time I’ve returned to vacation in many years. After spending my first few days at the beach I thought I’d take yesterday to venture into town to do some shopping. After parking my car on Jobs Lane much to my horror I would be greeted by an image of Moloch at your building the Peter Marino Art Foundation. It begs the question as to who thought that would be a good idea? Here’s a little lesson in who Moloch is in biblical terms. Moloch, is a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice. Here’s more information you, your patrons, and visitors should be aware. We know the Illuminati operates within Southampton and elsewhere. You should know we have more than 1 Million sealed indictments and amongst them are for people in your community who have committed crimes against humanity which includes child sex trafficking and other Satanic nefarious activities. These people will be brought to justice and lose all of their assets including their precious real estate in your community. This all occurs under Executive Order (EO) 13818 Repossession for Crimes Against Humanity. There are many of your well-known, celebrity residents who have had their assets repossessed. The dirty little secret of your evil residents is a secret no more. We will continue to come for you. In the meantime, I’d suggest you take down the image of Moloch. The optic is not good for business nor appropriate for the once charming hamlet of Southampton.

We have homes in Short Hills and in Long Beach Island. Both of our homes have art we have bought from Ric Michel Fine Art. We have relied on Ric’s knowledge of specific artists (a favorite piece Ric found for us was by Barry Oretsky, of Canada), and we’ve appreciated his willingness to come to our homes and help us display the art in ways that enrich our homes. His enthusiasm for sharing with us the diverse collections he has amassed keeps us coming back. Rob Finkel & Jackie Printz

Walking through Chucks gallery was truly a one of a kind experience. All of the art work was unique in it's own way which made it so difficult to choose one piece, so we actually ended up with two! While walking through the gallery Chuck gave us a short background on each piece we were interested in, it was awesome getting to hear about how he obtained each fish and and a short summary of his process. We have had his artwork hanging in our home since the beginning of the summer and it has become a highlight to many of our guests! If you're in the area, it is definitely worth the time to see his gallery. I promise, you will be just as amazed as we were.
