Bostwick's Chowder House is a popular seasonal restaurant located in East Hampton, offering a casual and laid-back dining experience. I love Bostwick’s! So glad my hubby and I made it during their last weekend of the season on Friday November 8th! Since they don’t take reservation we got fortunate and found two seats at the bar. The atmosphere was obviously crowded but it’s not overwhelming to us so we got to enjoy it! The menu has many options but we wanted to feast on some seafood and keep it simple. The waiter in bar area was extremely attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely tasty and we had some leftovers which were just as delicious the next day. The restroom was also clean and overall we had a great experience! Can’t wait to be back in May 2025! 🥳

Cozy and busy no frills spot on the east end. Incredibly friendly staff, outstanding food, great portions, you definitely get your moneys worth. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait if you go during lunch or dinner, but it’s worth it! The staff here deserves a special shout out as they made us feel welcomed and comfortable through our. Get the clams!
I came here in late July on a rainy Thursday for dinner with three others. I don’t believe the restaurant accepts reservations in the summer. We arrived around 645pm and were told we would need to wait about 30 minutes for a table and we actually waited only 20 minutes.
Our server was so lovely. She made sure to answer any questions thoroughly including if the clam chowder was made with chicken stock. She was not sure of the answer so she went to double check to find out that it isn’t made with chicken stock (but it used to be). She was very prompt with our requests but not to the extent we ever felt rushed.
The food was so fresh and delicious. I loved the clam chowder and the crab cake. I had two glasses of wine. The only thing I didn’t care for was how they have disposable plates, utensils, and cups. It may be the only thing that works best for their restaurant, but it just seems wasteful and I like eating a meal of this distinction should come with real dining materials.
Overall, I would recommend and I would back to this restaurant. I think so many restaurants in the Hamptons don’t deliver on what they advertise. Bostwick’s does deliver on a nice vibe and great food. It’s exactly what you want it to be.
THE BEST BAKED STUFFED CLAMS IN NY. I’m on the verge of claiming they’re the best in the world.
Everything was delicious, I will be dreaming of everything I’ve tried and everything I want to try for the next few days. This will 100% be my new go to spot for this Summer and probably the next dozen ones too! I cant even begin to describe all the other food I’ve tried here, this was probably one of the best meals I’ve had.
We ordered the Kids Fish and Chips due to the amount of food we got, but I’d definitely go for the full portion next time. They melt in your mouth. I’m also planning on doubling up on those clams!! The Lobster Roll is without question getting ordered each and every time.
Oh, and the drinks, dessert and service were a 100/10.
Great food and service in this little place. Had the clam chowder and the soft crab po' boy that was on lunch special. The soup was hot and full of flavor good size for an appetizer. The lunch special was a soft crab po'boy the sandwich size was a very nice portion the crab was fried with just enough breading and was so soft. Price is very reasonable for the quality of food.
Local hot spot. A little wait is worth it. Great little dive bar, excellent food and the fries were some of the best out there. Kids menu was perfect as well.
Excellent hot lobster rolls, imo better than that other famous lobster rolls place. Steamed lobster was cooked perfect. Arugula salad with crab cake also excellent. Could be crowded , line etc, but worth it.
I specifically went there for steamed fresh 2 pound lobster. Best Lobster ever and sweet as sugar. Comes with fresh corn on the cob.. worth the money

Came here a few years ago and we came back for the first since the revamp and were very pleased! They did a beautiful job updating the interior and brightening the atmosphere. The food was delicious and service was fast. They also do breakfast during the week and brunch on the weekend. Will definitely be back soon!
I’ve never been greeted by such a rude hostess before in my life. My partner and I got seated and I had asked about the happy hour as it was stated on the website it was from 3-6, and she just no and offered no explanation and walked away. She then took out drink orders, my partner said she wanted a Diet Coke and before I even said anything she just walked away like I didn’t even exist. Her whole attitude just seems incredibly unwelcoming and left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. The food was alright, but it was nothing special. The schnitzel was very bland, and the fish sandwich was very doughy and kind of dry. The salad and the potato pancakes were pretty good though. Overall, due to the awful service and overall mediocre food, I would not recommend anyone to come here if they expect to have an enjoyable experience and my partner and I would never come back.
The food was ok. I was really hoping for authentic German cuisine. The mashed potatoes were not that great. Sausages tasted like Schaller & Weber. Service was great and accommodating.
Amazing breakfast! I've never had home fries as good as Shippy's home fries! Perfectly prepared and very lightly seasoned! Wow! Service was great...the addition at the new Beer Garden will be fantastic. Reminiscent of Oktoberfest in Munich with the opening roof and authentic Bavarian vibe to the place! For sure a "Don't miss" stop if you're in Southampton!
We didn't like the food that much. It was cheese heavy and didn't feel that fresh. The chicken tender was over fried.
Im not sure I like that a place makes me feel so comfortable that I get off the route to where im headed to swing by for dinner. Oktoberfest, regular menu, specials. All served by earnest hardworking people who make the place that much more enjoyable. Good drinks too.
This is my first time here at Shippy's restaurant and I must tell you, we had an awesome experience. We came down tonight to listen to the live music of Monica, and had an awesome dinner.
For starters, we had the lobster bisque soup (very creamy, buttery and full of sweet lobster that was so tender) and we split the wedge salad which was loaded with bacon, fried onions and blue cheese!
For dinner, my wife had the delicious veggie burger and I had the smash burger! Both were amazing!
The ambiance at shippy's is truly amazing! The place is decorated so nicely with subway tiles on the wall and panels. There are booths to sit at or tables along an open wall. In the back of the restaurant, there are 2 oversized semicircle booths.
The place was great and I look forward to returning.

Lobster Roll Lunch Southampton is a roadside seafood restaurant that serves up delicious lobster rolls and other seafood dishes. It's popular with celebrities, who often go for lunch or dinner. The new location in Southhampton is equally as popular, with a menu that includes chili and crab cakes.
Loved my experience at Lunch! I had the classic lobster roll which I really enjoyed because of the crunch of the celery. We had a crock of clam chowder to share, and my friends got the hot lobster roll which was also amazing. Came buttery on a separate plate than the roll so the roll didn't get soggy. Roll was also toasted to perfection. Food came out in less than 5 minutes I think haha. Amazing!

Nice place to have a meal. Service was a little slow to start but then after ordering the staff was pleasant, attentive and efficient. We had fish tacos, lobster rolls, crab dip and onion rings as well as a broiled flounder with a salad. All the food was very good but the flounder was too generously peppered and didn’t seem like flounder - more like swai or some sort of unidentified local catch. Not particularly tasty and definitely not recommended. The onion rings were very large and really good. Prices seemed typical.
Love it here, atmosphere service food are all on point. Kids meal was incredible piece of fish and veggies for the price , insane value. Great lobster roll we tried both cold and hit both were great. Lobster bisque stole the show, incredible giant pieces of lobster in the soup! Will be back this summer for sure.
Love everything from the salmon filet to the fish n chips & every way that they serve lobster, like their roll, tacos, salad bowl, bisque & chili. chowders don’t disappoint & a broiled option is great instead of the fried fish tacos! Service couldn’t be better, even in large groups.

Food were delicious especially the lobster roll, however I’m disappointed on the portion size of the lobster was expecting atleast 8oz.
For $22 the fish and chips was a great deal in this diner-style restaurant. It tasted fresh, moist, and not drenched in oil. They should have put hot sauce and ketchup on the table. Tartar sauce and coleslaw is a bit sweet.
For $36 the hot lobster roll was kinda a disappointment, the meat portion is little and a bit dry. I should have had as much meat as in a 1.5lbs lobster. This is not even one tail.
Seafood nachos $22 large plate was meh as well. Tortilla chips should be crispy hot. The middle part is soggy probably it has sat in the sauce for a while. The dish feels American vegan as I cannot taste any seafood flavor or cheese or any nachos spices.
Staff is friendly. There is a bit of wait.

Myles on Main is a vibrant hotspot that captures the essence of casual elegance in Southampton. We used to frequent this place when it was the Preston, and didn't really return after it changed to Myles on Main figuring it was catering to more of the aquarium-going crowd (kids running around, etc). However, we decided to come in early on a weekend, and were pleasantly surprised. it's still the same cozy place, good parking, roomy dining areas, with enclosed outdoor seating.
We came in for lunch on a mild February day, and have been back twice since then. Cocktails, beer, sandwiches, all have been great and quite reasonable compared to whatever else is available around the area. Glad we decided to check it out again.

Great place! Food was amazing, staff was great, and you can't beat the prices. I'm not sure what the reviewer Mary was talking about, but pretty much take the opposite of what her review says. Well done to the management. Highly recommend.
The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Live music is played on Saturday, which is a wonderful addition. I highly recommend it!
A solid 4.5, very easy to become a 5 in the future. Drinks were great! A mojito and an old fashioned were enjoyed on the porch seating. Had dinner, got the special (lamb chops with a beautiful strawberry chutney) and the spicy fried sandwich. Only complaint is that the potato bun literally falls apart with the chicken, so I ended up using my flatware to finish, and the chicken was more Cajun spicy than Buffalo spicy like I was expecting. Super good though, just a little messy. The banana caramel cheesecake was AMAZING, but remember to ask for a knife, if possible, or you’ll end up destroying it with spoons like we did~
It was a rainy day and I needed something hot to drink so I ordered a coffee which came warm at best. My husband ordered a steak medium and it came well done instead. My roasted peppers soup was ok but not really flavorful. I’m disappointed with this place but I’m still giving 3 stars because the putine and the pumpkin martini were good. All in all, would not recommend.
Wonderful service. Attentive without being intrusive. We were a party of 3 for lunch. Two were delighted to get the Rubin with onion rings as the side. I ordered the grilled chicken which were served with fries. Ok they brought me a platter of onion rings since I did not request the fries. And a generous portion it was.
The onion rings we three agreed were the best we ever had. The Reuben got a 5. Excellent. The fries were not good even Mac Donald’s are better. The chicken sandwich was good. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed the lunch and the service. And the pleasant atmosphere.

This summer, Camp Rubirosa has transformed the former Buttero space in East Hampton into a delightful Italian-American pop-up that captures the essence of a nostalgic summer camp. Opening its doors on Memorial Day, this charming venue features an inviting outdoor piazza and vintage decor, creating a warm atmosphere for guests to enjoy oversized pizzas and hearty red sauce dishes. The collaboration between owner Maria Pappalardo and Brian Bedol shines through in both the ambiance and menu offerings.
We were so excited to see our favorite family Italian spot from Mulberry Street making an appearance on Race Lane this Summer! When we saw a reservation available we booked right away as it was a last minute idea. Memorial Day Monday was packed at primetime despite the mass exodus we saw on the LIE on our way out east - the hostess did not miss a beat and we were seated right away. Warm welcomes from everyone who touched our table. Our server, Lola, had impeccable knowledge of the menu - so lucky to have her out here this season. We also recognized one of the bartenders from the city who was working in the garden that night, and with Edwin managing it's no surprise that service was smooth from start to finish. For drinks he had the frose, then an espresso martini sub tequila; I had a mezcal negroni and then a glass of the "No Name" a delicious light to medium bodied red. We started with a pizza per server's recommendation, shared the eggplant parmesan as well as an app; then got the bass - the individual portion was two perfectly prepared filets served over artichoke hearts, castlevetrano olives, and cherry tomatoes. Seasonal vegetables that night were delicious sauteed snap peas with fresh mint; and I had my favorite arugula salad in lemon dressing with shaved ricotta that is my go to on Mulberry street as well. The s'more sundae was a super generous portion with all the accoutrements, apparently you can get a bigger size too for families - we had more than enough. After dessert I did have a cynar neat - then Limoncello appeared and a candle on a dessert plate as I'd mentioned celebrating my birthday that weekend. The whole staff sang us happy birthday and even though it was closing time; the hospitality never once skipped a beat. We look forward to dining here again!

Came here for a date with my husband and we loved the great vibe and good food. Specifically we chose this spot because they offer vegan cheese substitutes on the pies which I really appreciated. Loved the negroni, pasta, and vegan pie, my husband really liked the tie dye pie. The service was excellent. I would have appreciated more vegan options on the menu and maybe a vegan dessert but all in all it was great.
Maria our server was amazing. She moved us tables as well as made sure not to rush our experience. Brought out apps drinks and pizza all at fabulous times. 10/10

Hampton Chutney Co. is a beloved eatery known for its unique take on Indian crêpes, or dosas. After over 20 years in Amagansett Square, the restaurant has relocated to East Hampton Village, offering a quick-serve experience with picnic tables for outdoor dining.
So happy that we stumbled on this place on our day trip to Montauk! Very cozy and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. The Dosa is super good and HUGE perfect to split with someone unless you are very hungry. Also tried the cardamom coffee and it was excellent. Cilantro chutney was my favorite but all the chutneys were great, be sure to add one to your order.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! DELICIOUS! I wish I got another one before leaving! Not only were the flavors amazing and spices perfect, but the mango chutney was to die for! Highly recommend the #9- curry chutney chicken!!! Good portion size (protein too!). Also it was super friendly, clean, and the seating was also cozy. 10/10!

Okay, there are dosas, and then there are dosas. I literally can not believe the quality, and flavor, of Hampton Chutney's dosas. It is really tough to find good Indian food outside of New York City, well here it is on Newtown Lane in East Hampton, and it was so worth the trip. The ingredients are really fresh, the staff was super friendly and the food was incredible. Tried both the number six masala deluxe with spiced potatoes, spinach, roast tomato and jack cheese as well as the number five with chicken, avocado, fresh tomato, arugula, and jack cheese. Both were out of this world. The mango chutney: literally amazing. The flavors were well balanced and not overpowering, perfect. The Long Island Railroad train station is a half block away, I'm thinking of taking a train ride to get more :)
Hamptons Chutney is a staple for us especially on busy weeknights because they have great vegan options and a tasty menu. The thali plates, chutneys and crispy masala dosas filled with spiced Indian potatoes, olives, spinach and more this South Indian-inspired café is a must-visit for plant-based dining in the Hamptons.
Had an unbelievable experience at Hampton Chutney. They make everyone feel like family as soon as you walk through the door. The whole staff was incredible but Ravi was outstanding. Kind and caring of all dietary restrictions. Cannot wait to go back! Oat milk Cardamon is a must!

Not exaggerating when I say this was the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant. And the prices are what you expect from a high quality restaurant. That being said the ambiance is nice and service is pretty good.
What can I say? The atmosphere, ambiance, etc... Was spectacular. The service was impeccable. The cuisine was top notch. They even had a little place where my girlfriend and her friends could take selfies. Very hilarious.
If you're in the area it's a must! Google only lets me give 5 stars but I'd give them 10!

I called ahead before my reservations to let them know my allergies and Rocko could not have been more understanding, cool, and accommodating. I told him I just wanted to let him know everything now so that the ordering process goes smoother. When I got there, Vinny was the waiter and I didn't have to remind him or say a word he just told me, "I got you. Everything you mentioned to Rocko is what we have for you. We're good to go". I felt SO TAKEN CARE OF. I had told rocko i wanted the arugula with watermelon plate, nothing else, and it came out exactly how i asked. I also ordered a plain salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and lemon wedges on the side. when my plate come out, it was actually so beautifully arranged down to the lemons being cut in a pretty way. I always order the same thing whenever i go out to eat and restaurants typically throw it on a plate and the lettuce is brown - there isn't thought put in that this is the only thing i can eat. and it ends up being not good. you could tell there was thought and care that went into the presentation and quality of the plate. They gave me exactly what i asked for with no bumps along the way. Please give rocko and vinny a raise or promotion!!! they deserve it for how welcoming and relaxed they made me feel!!! also the whole place turned into a dancing party and it was SO FUN!!! cannot recommend this place enough!!!!
Went with the prefix menu but absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful and atmosphere was well lite, decorated and cute. For prefix a wide range of food options but my favorite was my entree the mahi mahi (light passion fruit dressing was soo good)
Had a great time with my girls! The food was fantastic and there was so much of it! The drinks were amazing as well!

The only things that this place has going for it are the cute place and it's ice cream. We got the special Mediterranean salad which comes with a Mediterranean style dressing. And a root beer float. The salad was ok but nothing special. The root beer float tasted like it was a mix of coffee cola and root beer all mixed together which was just wrong. This ice cream parlor offers a delightful experience. They have a wide variety of flavor options, sure to satisfy any craving, all served in a charming old-fashioned soda parlor atmosphere. The service is excellent and fast. If you see the fresh peach ice cream, I highly recommend it – it's absolutely delicious!
The ice cream is just delicious. Definitely order a large, so as to be able to try as many flavours as possible! The only disappointment for me was that after enjoying my lunch, I was asked to pay, THEN go to the ice cream counter to order ice cream separately. Had it been busy, I would have understood, but since it was not, it would have been nice to have continued my meal with dessert in a booth. Otherwise, the service really was lovely and a nice stop after visiting the Parrish Museum.

Had breakfast here. The '68 breakfast sandwich on a roll is a 10/10, surpassing what you would get in the city. Reasonable prices, solid service. Cash only. If that sandwich were a woman it would look like Sydney Sweeney.
I worked across the street at Sea Reality before I owned Southampton Reality. I ate there with both girlfriends as the years past. Grill Cheese and the burgers and fries are real home made food that is worth the price. I cook at home with the same items. 📺🎙️🎥🎬
It was a treat to be able to take my kids to the same place I used to go to lunch as a kid!
The atmosphere is unchanged in such a way to preserve its charm! Be sure to bring cash as it is a cash only restaurant. Don’t skip on the ice cream or the onion rings!

Sabrosa Mexican Grill is a great place to get Mexican food. The ladies working there are always happy and make you feel very welcome. The food is delicious and fresh, and it's the best in town. I highly recommend it!
No frills Mexican place similar to a chipotle style menu. I had the burrito bowl and it was quick and easy. Order at the counter and open seating. I accidentally turned into the gas station vs the restaurant and the highway is super busy that I just walked over instead.

Casual Mexican cuisine in Water Mill. This is a go-to for us when we're busy and need a quick satisfying bite. They make a nice tofu mix, I always get the veggie salad, my family loves their burritos. Always friendly service

Got a veggie burrito for take out. The staff was kind and service was good, but the food was simply subpar. Every bite was the same monotonous blend of bland flavor. The food was cold and tedious to consume. I had high hopes off of a local recommendation, but my disappointment is immeasurable. Good prices tho.
About same price as Chipotle but food is barely edible, dry, unseasoned and bland. Closest comparison i can make is prison food but I'd assume that even tastes better. Hope this place fixes its food or they will go out of business when a Chipotle opens.

The staff is always so nice here even if they are low on staff. They do their best to accommodate and are very pleasant. The food is your local comfort food. It’s very enjoyable to bring my kids here too. They love their ice cream that comes with their meals!

The Hampton Bays store has recently undergone a renovation. Baskin Robbins moved out, so now Dunkin has a much more open feel to it, which includes more seating.
Every time I visit the Hampton Bays location I leave happy! Even if they don't have what I'm looking for in stock they are FRIENDLY which is a necessity when customers come in. They acknowledge me before I even reach the counter, they smile, & if the item is not available they tell me when the delivery is expected. When I leave they always say "See you next time. Have a good day."
The Hampton Bays store is completely different from the Southampton store! Having had a negative experience not too long ago I wrote a review on them also stating my displeasure with the staff there which made it so I will never stop there again (even though it's closer). I stick by it.....

I've gone there at least a half dozen times. I'm local. And I can tell you every single time,they screw up my order. Not 1x not 2x every time. The absolute worst place. Do yourself a favor a wait to get to the next DD.
I don't come here often, but every time I have, I've never had any issues. The girls behind the counter are always very nice and accommodating, which makes each visit a pleasant experience.
One thing I am a little disappointed about is that they removed the Baskin-Robbins part of the Dunkin', which I always thought was a nice addition. Also, I’ve noticed that it tends to get pretty hot inside, especially on warmer days. I understand it’s a smaller space with cooking equipment running, but it would be great if the AC could be a little stronger — not just for the customers, but for the hardworking staff as well.
Overall, it’s a good spot with friendly service, and I hope they continue to make small improvements for an even better experience.
The person taking my order must be from Jupiter because she had the audacity to accuse me of being a liar when I clearly ordered a small cup of milk for my hot beverage. I ordered a small cup with milk and she said "you didn't say you wanted cup of milk" and I said "you better not be calling your customer a liar". She clearly needs to be retrained on customer service and if she don't straighten out her attitude, they need to fire her. I will never go here again.

We first came here to get a scoop of ice cream and waited at the counter for 10 minutes before one of the two employees decided to come over. The store was empty as it was 7pm. We asked if we could try a flavor, and the woman literally rolled her eyes at us and said they don't really do that. I said, 'oh, every ice cream parlor in the world offers a taste before you buy', so she grudgingly gave us a taste but then angerly flung the plastic spoons in the trash when we handed them back. Lol!
We went back two days later, thinking it was a fluke. It wasnt! We ordered a box of Joe through the mobile app and accidentally ordered 2. She only had one box of coffee ready for our mobile pick up, so she knew it was a mistake but we paid for 2 boxes of Joe when we only received 1 box, and did not offer to make another even though we paid for it, and refused to credit the second box of coffee, and only gave us 8 creamers.
We asked if we could have more creamers but she said she would have to charge us. We order a box of Joe all the time in Philly and they give us an entire bag of creamers because there's 10 cups of coffee in a Box of Joe. She also wouldn't credit the extra box of Joe. So we paid for 2 boxes of coffee and only received 1, and only 8 creamers. I'm going to file a complaint with Dunkin' Corporate.
I very kindly asked the younger hispanic girl with glasses to remake my coffee because it was too sweet and had too much milk. Her response was rude and she was clearly annoyed I asked her to remake it. It was an easy order- small iced coffee with almond milk and sugar. Just would appreciate to not feel like a burden over something small, and I asked very nicely.

Place was a life saver for me and my family. 7 minutes from Hanks pumpkin picking. We were starving!. Place clean , 3 bathrooms clean sitting areas are clean. There is a drive through not so busy around 4p.
I got breakfast there early in the morning about 30 min or so after opening time, they were still preparing everything for the day but got to me in less than 20s. I was satisfied with that :)

honestly, the staff was nice. But this was the worst bubble tea I’ve ever had. I ordered the brown sugar bubble tea, And it tasted like watered down milk. Also, the tapioca pearls were very tiny. A lot of other places I have gone to, The pearls are much bigger. I was very much disappointed.

Hit or miss sometimes. When they get it right its great. Ordered the vegetable sushi platter a few times and have gotten superb presentation and quality, but have also gotten unfresh and subpar versions of it. Makes me hesitate, for a while they were my favorite. Keep tryin Tony!

I recently got dinner at this place and my chicken was RAW. Thankfully I noticed before eating it. I went back and asked for a refund and was not given that instead they offered me to make my order again which is very unprofessional. I do not recommend eating from here.
Got wings, Orion rings and egg roll. Everything was great. Wings were cooked perfectly without being greasy. Flavorful sauces. Nice fluffy onion rings. Egg Roll was plump and crispy. Will definitely order again!

Working in the area for several days and found this little gem nearby. We liked it so much this became our lunch spot for the week.
The first day I was craving lentils and they had lentil soup available. I had that with a side of sausages. I also had the fried chicken and vegetables from the hot food bar and then the fried rice. I liked it all. Apparently their pizza is pretty good as well.
Our lunch break on the way to the Hamptons got a delicious upgrade thanks to Melrose East's fantastic pizza. It was hot, flavorful, and exactly what we needed.
They have all kinds of delicious dishes. Nachos , chicken parm and fajitas completed this order. Large portions as well!
Food is good, but don't like suprise prices. I called for a personal pie and asked for a price over the phone. Went to pick it up and the price was higher. Online menu is outdated as well.
Burger was pretty good i have to say! Ive tried other burger spot around and they weren't as good. A little cheaper in price then smokin wolf and better tasting burger it came with fries coleslaw and chili. Good job guys. My friend had the buffalo chicken roll and she said it was great. The garlic stuffed knots were awsome had chicken and cheese. So good!! Keep it up i will be back for more
