Specialty Museums
The Lowndes County Historical Society & Museum is housed in the historic Carnegie Library of Valdosta, dating back to 1914. The museum offers a comprehensive look at the city's history, with nearly 1,000 square meters of space dedicated to exhibits. Visitors can explore the city's development on the ground floor and view rotating artifacts on the upper floor. Outdoor displays include a pioneer cabin, belfry, rail car, and historically-accurate planting.
i recently visited the Lowndes County Historical Museum at 305 W Central Ave, in Valdosta, GA. I had a great time walking around this museum. The lady working this day was very friendly and we had several discussions on various displays at the museum. I learned about Doc Holliday and the man who wrote Jingle Bells.

Unfortunately, it was closed when we went to visit. I have posted the information posted on the door. I would recommend calling in advance to receive current information for your visit.

Interesting free museum, eclectic items displayed in a somewhat random order but very interesting. Free parking too and restrooms on site. Helpful staff too, worth an hour of your time.

People were very nice they were just getting the displays back in order from being closed. Definitely worth the visit there were some neat things to see

We didn't go inside but loved the outdoors space. Lots of seating and a great place for the Kindness Rocks project. We brought our dog and had a nice little walk around the area. It really is a hidden gem!

When you call recording doesn’t say it’s closed. Drove 40 miles to see and sign on door said closed for renovations. Why would you not put that on your phone machine. I will not return. Your do your town a disservice by being so inept

An awesome place to visit if you want to learn the history of Valdosta. They have artifacts and pictures from the time Valdosta was founded. including some of our famous residents that lived here. They have Doc Holliday's dental tools when he worked here as a dentist, including the full story of the shootout at the OK corral when he joined the Earp's against the Clanton & McClowery gangs.

Brewery
Georgia Beer Co. is a local brewery in Valdosta, Georgia, owned by two friends who are passionate about beer. They take pride in using locally-sourced ingredients such as pecans, peaches, blueberries, watermelon and honey to create unique and flavorful brews that pay homage to the state of Georgia. The brewery offers guided tours where visitors can learn about their brewing process and sample their flagship beers at the Tap Room.
What a great place to go, meet friends and have a beverage. It has a great beer selection and the Staff was super helpful and friendly. Some of the regulars chimed in with suggestions. I settled with the St Hellen’s Oktoberfest and the wife had the Hellerbock. This former fire station turned into a brewery is awesome! Outside area is so cool and inviting. I wish I lived closer to this place. I would definitely be a regular! Great job on the structure and the beers. Your staff was super friendly too. It’s also a welcoming place for kids and dogs as well! If you haven’t checked this place out you need to!

I have enjoyed visiting the Georgia Beer Company many times at 109 S Briggs St, in Valdosta, GA. They offer a nice selection of beer and rotate many beer styles throughout the year. Food trucks are there almost daily that provide some really good food. I would recommend visiting this business and enjoy the friendly staff and enjoy a beer and food either outside or inside. A good place.
Greg K — Google review
Nice brewery! First time at Georgia Beer Co. and was not disappointed. I wasn’t a big fan of the helles, but enjoyed the marzen and key lime sour. The key lime sour was far and away the best of the three, and I’m not a huge sour person. The place has a nice look and mojo, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Four stars as the beer is not quite worth five, but the place and staff are five stars.

Frankly, it was the farthest thing possible from "Emo Night" Thankfully the beer was great as always. The music was terrible and missed the mark by a mile

Excellent beer, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a great atmosphere. We saw it driving by while staying in Valdosta and decided to check it out. Was a good decision. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.
John S — Google review
My wife and I stopped in because we saw the Taste by W4K food truck outside. After ordering Carey's amazing food, I decided to go inside to see what beers they had. I talked with the bartender for a few moments, and he recommended a coffee milk stout based on what I told him I usually like. The beer was fantastic, paired well with the seafood, and we will definitely be stopping in again. There was indoor and outdoor seating available, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

It’s highly affordable, aesthetically pleasing, notably significant, historically relevant, and readily available for community and vendors alike, to enjoy. Create the most memorable and cherished moments here, at the Crescent 🌺

i recently visited the Crescent Garden House at 904 N Patterson St, in Valdosta, GA. I parked and went to the front door. I was greeted by our guide. She introduced herself and began walking the tour group throughout the entire former mansion. The tour was very educational and I learned a lot about the history of the mansion and the city.

This is a beautiful historic venue that offers a sweet intimate charm to any wedding. I am a photographer based in south Georgia fell in love with the elegance of this sweet home. If you're looking for a venue in Valdosta I'd definitely check this one out!

Very lovely place! My tour guide was very helpful and sweet. I had guest from out of town come to visit with me and they Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a repeat visitor and will be returning once again! The garden is also outstanding :)

The Crescent House was built in 1901 by Senator William West and his wife Ora Lee West. It was the first house in Valdosta Ga to have electricity, plumbing and indoor bathrooms built in. The tour is well worth the $10 per person cost.
Judy A — Google review
This is a great place to take your family. It is a historical site and a great way to show history. The house itself has the furniture still in from that time period and the outside garden is beautiful. The two lovely ladies that were there were friendly and enthusiastic about showing us all The Cresent had to offer. Their excitement is genuine and contagious!

Located on Old Clyattville Road, Valdosta Wake Compound is a premier destination for wakeboarding enthusiasts. The compound features a cable park spanning several acres around a large fishing lake, offering various obstacles and rails for riders to hone their skills. With cables attached to towers propelling participants across the water, it provides an ideal setting for perfecting wakeboarding moves without the need for a boat. Professional instructors are available to provide one-on-one lessons and top-of-the-line gear for beginners.
It was a blast. We had five kids from 3 to 15 years old and there were things for all of them to enjoy. They took such good care of us! They adjusted the speeds according to the skill and comfort of the participants and patiently gave feedback to the little ones about how they could be more successful. I highly recommend making a trip out.

Some of the greatest people at any Wake Park I’ve been to! Every time I have come here, everyone is very welcoming and easy going! Awesome vibes and a really creative and fun setup around the whole park! Definitely recommend checking it out, and I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!
Ian S — Google review
Can we please give you ten stars? Camping, Cable, and Skatepark. This place feels like home. Had a most amazing visit to play with so many amazing board buddies. If we didn’t love our hometown park so much we would probably immediately transplant to your spot. Southern hospitality at its best! Thanks for the pulls and the companionship. Hoping to roll through again as soon as we are able.
Amber J — Google review
The crew at VWC are some of the most legit in the sport, and their park proves it. Open a magazine and you'll likely see more than a few photos shot from this iconic location. But it's not just for pros, the staff here are amazingly helpful with new riders.
Brandon L — Google review
This is not a regular campground, you are required to pay $40 for water activities, in addition to $10 for tent camping....Just to clarify, to anyone simply looking for a place to sleep.... I found this out after I drove there & went into the office. Cool place if you are looking to do watersports & camp though.
Tara P — Google review
I loved this place I went to summer camp here before and it was amazing people were so so kind and now I can wakeboard very well and I can go behind a boat now!
Lillian W — Google review
Really amazing!! I saw from the highway and thought “why not??” So I return and I did! The place is amazing! The guys are incredible!! After half hour doing the lesson, I was able go on the main lake!! Go for it!!

They're making some improvements to the Mall! I love going on dates here with my husband. The AC on a hot summer day is amazing! It's a safe place to walk, very family friendly, and there are plenty of good stores to browse for everyone.

Great mall for a town this size. Stores for about anyone. The mall is doing well. My only nitpick is that there should be more food options inside. Overall, it's petty good!
Woodf — Google review
Definitely a mall worth checking out! Super nice and actually had multiple stores opened

I love this place. Even if im bored one day and want to get out and do something, this is a good place to go to in order to enjoy yourself whether you are just wanting to walk around, in the market for something, want to eat out, or if you just want to play games with the family. This is a must shop at place if you are in the area.

Went in to check some stores out and got food from Pei Wei, food was good. Attempted to go into the restroom afterwards and did not see the closed sign hanging way above the door. Dude with blue hair cleaning it was very rude and made it seem like it was my fault. Not sure if he was just having a crappy day or what, but its no way to treat a customer and needs to learn some etiquette. Won't be coming back because of him.
Austin S — Google review
This Mall is like any big City Mall, it has everything you can imagine, just Google for all the stores you like. I was visiting the America’s Best store there for some new eyewear. Conveniently located off of Exit 18 on interstate 75. Lots of hotels nearby and restaurants. Valdosta is a striving city with everything your larger cities offer. Nice spacious subdivisions, Homes, Condos, Apartments, etc. loads of schools for growing families too. Valdosta State University is here too.
Rosa B — Google review
Very small Mall compared to most of Florida Malls. But it was clean and not so crowded during the time I was there. A Lot of the stores were not open during our visit but we did get some exercise of walking.
Dorothia M — Google review
Its fine. Run of the mill mall, burnt food court smell when you walk in, shops coming and going except for your staples. Gamestop, Hot Topic, etc. Not a bad place to go but still kinda just average.

Friendly folks! Makes you welcome when coming thru their doors. Lots of novelties & small gifts available to buy. Frozen casseroles & other frozen food items available. Snacks & refreshments for that small hunger urge. Also lunch served during the weekdays with good tasting food. A separate dining area is available. This place is all good. I definitely recommend it!

Restaurant
306 North Restaurant is a modest establishment that offers a diverse menu featuring sophisticated Southern cuisine. The restaurant has garnered positive feedback for its perfectly cooked sweet and sour dishes. Located in Valdosta, the eatery is known for its innovative take on traditional Southern fare, with offerings such as pork-belly tacos, shrimp and grits with roasted red-pepper gravy, and fried chicken confit with honey sriracha butter.
Staff was lovely and attentive. I prefer sitting outside but the inside is spacious and clean. Theme food and drinks were wonderful I ate every bite. I'll be coming back to try more on the menu
Sara D — Google review
The food here was pretty good. I didn’t find the atmosphere quite as enjoyable as some other reviewers described. Other than some wood work and art it is pretty plain. We had the pork chops, burger, and chopped steak. The pork chops were cooked very well but the Marsala sauce did not work well with the pork chops.. I would suggest a choice of sauces. Something with peach in it would be amazing. The Gouda grits are great! Also the website doesn’t have prices but the lunch prices are reasonable at around $15-17 for an entree with 2 sides. Beer prices are also incredibly reasonable!
Heather P — Google review
A real Gem in Valdosta! Food is wonderful! Fried Green Tomatos are a must try! Not over breaded and perfectly cooked! Tomato was crunchy and not cooked to a mush! CrabCakes were mostly chunks of crab with little binder. Even the side choices were something next level! Highly suggest the squash souffle. Staff is delightful and warm. It is a small place I recommend calling for a reservation.
David W — Google review
I’m not sure who the gentleman who greeted me at the bar was but I ended up with Courtney and was very impressed with her. Very friendly and she didn’t mind letting me taste 2 glasses of wine which btw both were great. They actually have a Carmenere which was delicious. I feel every great restaurant should have offer a Carmenere. The food was very good also. I would definitely come back if ever in town.
Jenee P — Google review
A great restaurant to have a nice meal at in Valdosta. Enjoyed my dinner and martini. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit nicer than most other spots.
Jeffrey S — Google review
A pretty environment. We enjoyed our dinner for the most part, I wouldn't recommend the house specialty salad that comes as a side. The dressing was very different and offputting. The Old Fashioned was disappointing, the Vermouth in a Old Fashioned really overpowered the traditional taste and was very hard to consume. I had to remind the waitress to bring out my drink after 20 minute's had passed since I ordered it. If you are looking for a quieter space, where you can talk without having to really raise your voice to speak or be able to hear your dinner partners I would not recommend this place.
A. F — Google review
This is the second time I’ve dined here. I find the restaurant to be really nice with a modern atmosphere. Staff is friendly with a good wine list. Not pricey. Food is good and we will return.

Absolute Gem in Valdosta, Georgia!!!! I have travelled all over and this restaurant actually provides the service and quality of food that I am accustomed to. If you love seared tuna and beautiful plating, yummy sauces that are beautifully placed, and perfectly cooked filet, with an atmosphere that reminds you why you enjoy dining out, you want to check out this place! Took my my mom for her birthday, she loved it, our group loved it, I loved it. Literally no complaints, no improvements needed. University
Valdosta State University is a vibrant and engaging campus to explore in the city. The Bailey Science Center offers an interactive learning experience, while the Copeland African American Museum provides insight into African American culture. The university brings a youthful energy and academic atmosphere to the charming and historic city of Valdosta, creating a perfect backdrop for outdoor activities and cultural immersion. With well-maintained facilities, including an impressive library, it's a great place for students to pursue their education.
I did a tour here, did not end up applying but was because of a change of plans. No issues with the university. Their student leaders were very helpful in answering my questions and the campus is very well maintained inside and out.

Beautiful campus! Received my BFA here and still enjoy visiting the campus for portrait shoots!

Unfortunately, some head coach decides to make up rules as he pleases noting that "there is no wild forces" that can change his mind. While allowing other players to be in the team for the same "offense." This needs to be addressed. This behaviors undermine the effort of a university trying to keep getting and maintain recognition at the state and federal level. Would not want to go or let my relative sign for the school until this behaviors are resolved
Miles M — Google review
We loved it. Pretty campus and nice people.

The campus is beautiful and well-maintained, with a variety of facilities for students to use. The library is top-notch, with an impressive collection of resources and helpful librarians who are always willing to assist. The campus is also very walkable, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax between classes.

Our daughter loved it. She's in performing arts and this is one of a handful of Georgia University's that offers a BFA. The campus is well maintained and seems safe. We took the tour and meet with the Director. We had a wonderful time viewing the dorms and class rooms. It's definitely a University to visit if you haven't made a decision. PS Bring your umbrella 🌂 🙂

I have had to take 4 certification exams here and these folks took it upon themselves to issue me parking tickets for parking there 2 of those times. This organization is a racket and I'll be making sure how they treat testers is belligerent. The first time they took my information for my vehicle and still gave me a ticket. I'm contacting PearsonVUE to attempt to have their ability to conduct testing through them revoked. These tests are $400 a piece. I sent an email message Feb. 21, 2024 at 1329 and have gotten no reply from these folks. These folks do not care and obfuscate every communication avenue to avoid accountability.

Drexel Park, located in Valdosta, Georgia, is a charming community park known for its lush greenery and peaceful ambiance. The park offers a serene escape with its shaded picnic areas, children's playground, and walking trails nestled among the shady live oak trees. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and observe a variety of bird species attracted by the diverse trees. A babbling stream runs through the park, adding to its natural charm and providing a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls.
My grandaughter and I brought our lunch to the park. The picnic benches were there, but "Idalia" took down a lot of trees and debris! Thank you to the workers that will get the park back to its usual beautiful state. We enjoyed watching the squirrels!! It's a great place to enjoy!

Since Hurricane Helene they have made great strides in cleaning it up. It's very much usual. Great for my dog and safe. Plenty of play places for the kids and they've added more tables to relax at. Quiet for the most part. It's a pleasant park for just about anyone.

We had heard they had an Azalea Festival here, and we stopped by the weekend afterward. It was so beautiful, and felt like walking through scenes from a Monet painting. We even saw some azaleas still blooming.

Drexel Park is such an amazing park near Valdosta State University. There are so many different types of trees which also attract a good diversity of birds. A babbling stream separates the park in two with a nice walking bridge in the middle of the park to cross sides.

A nice park with a bridge and stream running through it. The main playground equipment is in decent shape, though it could definitely use some updating.

Freedom Park Softball/Baseball Fields, situated on Guest Road in Valdosta, is a sprawling 250-acre community green space offering an array of outdoor activities. The park boasts amenities such as baseball diamonds, softball fields, a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, an 18-hole disc golf course, playgrounds, concession stands, walking and hiking trails, a soccer field, and picnic areas.
Extremely well taken care of. Very nice fields to play on. All the facilities were clean. Definitely one of the nicest softball fields we've been to.

Can you please fix the sewage smell/issue? That cannot be just the port-a-johns! Fields were nice.

love the trails during the day. i understand why the softball fields, dog park, and trails would close by 10 pm, but I think the track and playground could stay open 24 hours and it would give freedom park more of that ‘freedom’ spirit in its name. i enjoy peaceful late night walks, and until tonight i had never been stopped. around 12 am in the past, a city officer patrolling never told me to leave, but tonight another officer stopped me and said the park closes from 7–10. i wasn’t aware of the hours since the gate is always open, so it can be confusing. it might help to post signage with hours in each area. please consider keeping the playground and track open 24 hours, as i would love to continue my late night walks!

This is a wonderful park. However, the dog park area needs to have a few renovations on the pet poop stations (many have holes and poop bags end up on the ground). Can we please turn back on lights at the entry in the morning hours. Its an accident waiting to happen. This is for everybody's safety. It might also deter questionable activities.

Baseball/softball fields, basketball court, track, disk golf in nature trails, a really nice park for the kiddos and a dog park for big and small dogs. Plenty for everyone to do out here!

I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes the bathrooms are sometimes locked during the middle of the day on weekdays and weekends for no apparent reason. I been walking here for 8 years. I usually walk 1 to 3 miles on the walk track and when you've got to go after walking that long you dont need to find the door is locked! Its been locked for the past two days for no apparent reason. I called to ask someone to come and unlock the restroom but it goes to voicemail which states it is full, so you can't reach anyone. Why have the restrooms if your not going to be consistant about allowing the public to access them? Besides this infrequent mishap, it's a great place to come to for outdoor activity.

McKey Park, located in Valdosta, is a green suburban park known for its Harry B. Anderson Tennis Center with 12 tennis courts. The park also features a volleyball court and two play areas separated by a creek, making it an ideal spot for families. Visitors can enjoy the well-maintained facilities, including clean playground equipment and convenient restrooms. Despite recent damage from Hurricane Idalia, efforts are underway to enhance the park with the addition of 26 pickleball courts.
Love this park, but so does everyone else. Not always super busy, plenty of great chill spots while the kiddos play. There's two spacious gazebos. Great place for parties.

New pickleball courts are amazing! Great place to go with a group of friends and get a good workout in! During the week the old people occupy a lot of the courts in the mornings but they are normally friendly and give new players tips and trick so they can master the game of pickleball like them. Some of the guys are stuck up and act like they own the park.

Newly updated pickelball courts have ample parking. So many courts. Bathroom was unlocked and clean. There was a Pavillion for shade but not enough shade elsewhere. Great pokestop. My kid did not enjoy this park much. The playground is more to entertain while adults play court games. No trails but a random bridge crosses a creek to another patch of dirt.

My kids enjoy playing here. Definitely need to fix the bridge so kids can easily cross to the bathrooms.

Bless this park. It has provided indescribable joy and relaxation to so many local children and parents. It looks just terrible at the moment due to Hurricane Idalia. It's been over a month since Idalia changed course, strengthened, and then tore through our beloved unprepared town. As of yesterday, the Oak St side of the Park is still a disaster area and blocked off by metal gating. The smaller are for younger children on the Patterson Street side nearer SGMC was slightly more lucky, yet still the parking lot is blocked off and piled high with 2 heaps of fallen trees, each one over a story high. Most of the equipment on this side was left intact but not everything. (See photo of metal bench folded like paper.) As I know how much so many of us value this free and safe space to take our children, maybe the parks dept will consider calling for community help cleaning up, maybe even a special day set aside for that? Of course, at the moment, it's unsafe to do so. Saying a prayer for our community, and all of us still trying to rebuild, especially our homes and our children's favorite places of memory. 🙏 (Sorry, no photos of Oak St side as we only drove past in astonishment.)
Linda M — Google review
The playgrounds are small and falling apart, not very well kept playground equipment. There are a lot of pickleball and tennis courts, more courts than people using them. The courts are well kept.
Cecilia P — Google review
Very relaxing atmosphere on nights when it's cooler out. Kids having a great time, people playing pickleball or jogging. This park is full of life.
Fini R — Google review
I’m not a pickleball player (yet), but I’ve got to say—the new courts are a welcome upgrade. They didn’t just add a sport; they gave the whole area a fresh new vibe. The playground looks better, the parking area is cleaned up, and the space finally feels like it’s being cared for again. It’s got that “community hangout” energy now, even if you’re just watching from the sidelines or chasing kids around the playground. Whether you’re serving up aces or just along for the atmosphere, the pickleball glow-up is definitely a win for everyone.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased we were with our Fundraising event. Cheyenne was great. She responded timely to every question we had. She handled the process from start to finish. Our order is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, in time to distribute in time for the holidays. Thank you Cheyenne. You are great.

Hopper bottom unloading. You are supposed to stop at the pilot just south of the location, just off of I75. Here you scale in and afterward scale out. This actually has the benefit of getting you on site in an easier fashion. If you use the cat scale app, you will only get standard orange scale ticket no white receipt is an option. This is important because they will tell you they do not reimburse orange ticket but only the white ticket. If you are unloading a hopper bottom and have the s lee st address, change to 320 S Ashley St. This is the proper place to go to, for unloading and WILL change your gps route to one much easier to navigate with your truck. Unload time is roughly 30 minutes, or was for me, so not bad at all. My first time I did everything wrong as I did what I was told. When I showed up and finally found where to go to unload, on another street, they told me I was supposed to call ahead to get all this info since now i would have to backtrack to scale in... the broker never told my dispatcher, so he never told me. Neither of us even had a contact number.

I have order before and received a tracking number , however, that has changed. They are now using a different shipping company and you are not provided any information on your order. I finally called and was given a number to call to "arrange a delivery date". The company will not deliver and I have to meet the driver to get my order. I will NOT be ordering for this company again. I had two separate orders and six items were not included in the first order but I was not notified in any way. I had to e-mail and ask about the items not included. This is my last order ever from this company.

Placed an order during the first week of December hoping to have the pecans for Christmas. Never received a shipping email and the phone number they have listed is not in service. Finally had to reach out to them on Facbook, at which point I was told a representative would contact me. They never did. The only thing they have done promptly is charge my credit card for the order. Their e-commerce clearly doesn't work as it should. I would recommend against ordering online.

As a last resort, I was forced to contact my bank and submit a debit card claim against this company. Terrible way to treat a repeat customer. I wont do business with this company again. I placed an order Nov 21, my card was charged but I never received product. I have talked with customer service several times, was promised a call back, and kept waiting trying to be reasonable. Finally after the third call, the manager returned my call and assured me the order would arrive by December 17th. I checked the tracking and saw that a label was made for the second time on December 16th, but it still has not shipped. I have now filed a complaint with my credit card and will not order from them nor recommend them to anyone.

I'm not sure why the neg reviews. I have ordered twice from S. GA Pecan Co, & have been more than satisfied both times. In fact, I ordered my husband the chocolate-covered cherries for Easter on April 10th. I knew I was ordering late, but I figured if it was late, I wouldn't worry about it. It arrived on the 12th! And my husband loved both the cashews & the cherries. I also love the tins. I don't know how much better service I could expect. I do plan to order again. (Follow up: I've now ordered at least 4 times & had the same great experience. I also love that they give you the opportunity to purchase Pecans for the Troops!)

Delicious! I can eat a bag of pecans and not think anything of it. Also the baskets and tins make great Christmas gifts! I usually order online before Thanksgiving, I’ve never had an issue and I've been ordering from them for years. They e-mail me a tracking number so I can track my orders (they also have the addresses from prior years on file so it makes re-ordering very easy), my friends, family, and associates always rave about how good everything is and I like that I get to share a little bit of South Georgia with them.

Most excellent dinner, service and restaurant. Our waitress was amazing my steak I got the Tbone was juicy seasoned and cooled to perfection. I also got the Caesar salad and loaded baked potato which was buttery and tender. My husband got the New York strip which was also super tender he said the fries weren't as fresh as he would have liked but all in all so good. Also they need to update the menu prices as they arent what you see online.

The food was very good. We had Gator Tail for an appetizer. Their loaf of bread they bring you is amazing! It's pretty big, soft and warm, yummy! The steaks are a little too heavily seasoned for us but cooked to perfection. Their baked potatoes are good as well but too heavily salted. We should've asked about their salt and seasoning, our bad The service was great, we had a very nice young lady. We had to wait a little while to be seated, they were very busy. We waited about 30-40 minutes even though we were told 15. It was probably due to being the day before Father's Day. We also had to wait to get silverware. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud. The decor is pretty cool. I would recommend this restaurant if your in the area!

⭐️ Austin’s Cattle Company – Valdosta, GA I stopped here on my way from Valdosta to Tallahassee and I’m really glad I did. The place has an authentic old-school design with a warm, rustic atmosphere, and there’s plenty of free parking outside. The hostess greeted me with a smile and seated me right away. The restaurant is large with multiple sections that feel almost like a cozy maze. I ordered the French onion soup and a steak — both were excellent. The soup was rich and cheesy, and the steak was cooked perfectly with great flavor. Service was polite, friendly, and fast. Great spot for a solid meal on the road. Highly recommended! 🥩🍲✨

We stopped here roadtripping because the reviews were decent and we wanted fresh not fast food. Atmosphere was typical Southern steakhouse style and decor with a fist tank and loads of stuffed game. Great entertainment for kids! The tables are Formica so this is a middle of the road establishment so you can dress up or do T-shirt and jeans and be fine. Staff were super nice and accommodating. Food was pretty good, not great. My steak came out cooked perfect, my husband’s was first undercooked and then slightly overcooked. Both were WAY over seasoned. You almost couldn’t taste the meat from the seasoning. And both were seasoned the same. It was overpowering the natural flavor of the steak. The vegetables were good. The sweet potato fries were interesting. The shrimp was also good. The space was surprisingly clean. I’m one of those people that looks for dust and cobwebs on the ceiling and on things that are higher up. I didn’t really see any of that here. The bathroom could definitely use some TLC, slippery floors (from years of poor cleaning products?), ceiling open over toilet paper. It didn’t fit in with the rest of the place. I think there is a bar, I didn’t explore all the way to the back but I didn’t see many of the people I saw walk in before us and it looked like the restaurant continued on through a hallway.

Overall decent place to go grab some food, are order specifically was not made correct. Appetizer was good ordered the Gator tail and the sauce was awesome jalapeno pepper honey! Now when it came to our main course everything fell short. My wife ordered the 7 oz filet medium and it came very well done and dry. I ordered the prime ribe medium rare and came out like they didn't even cook it I've had medium rare a ton of times with prime rib but never had to deal with this level of raw the server was nice asked if we wanted a refund but I said it's fine I just don't think we will come back again.

The restaurant's friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and diverse menu make it a popular choice for both travelers and locals.
It was our first experience here & I can't say enough good things about the staff, restaurant aesthetic/atmosphere, & most importantly (alongside service), the food & beverages. We got lucky & were seated without reservations right away. The restaurant was quite busy (not surprised after our experience). As the menu has much to offer, we asked our server (Canyon) for his favorite appetizers & we chose two- the pulled pork deviled eggs & the BBQ pork & pimento cheese wontons. If you'll look at the photos I shared, the presentation is beautiful. Guess what!? They were both delicious! Hats off to the kitchen! I ordered a nice salad & my husband ordered their shrimp & grits. Zero disappointment. The drink menu is also delectable. 10/10, would recommend & we look forward to going back; as well as bringing friends/family upon their visits.

Definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

They win and they lose at the same time. The win was the food. We enjoyed the bacon wrapped pork loin and an extra side of Mac and cheese. We ordered an appetizer but it didn’t show up until the meal was delivered and we said something. The waiter said “oh sorry I forgot to put it in”. But since we like to try all of the things we still had him bring it. We also got the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was amazing. Very rich and delicious. On the losing side, while our waiter was very personable he was enjoying his time with the kitchen staff way more than actually taking care of our order. It took forever for him to bring things and then outright forgetting to put in the appetizer. He was super pre-occupied and not because they were busy. Overall I would say to give this place a try. Good food, nice ambiance and not at all pricey.

Great food and very unique ambiance. Love the rooftop! However a lot of the time that I have tried to go there to eat they seem to be either closed when it clearly states they are open or they say they don't have any tables available until after 1pm. It is not the first time that they say they don't have any sitting available until after 1 - 1:15pm on a Sunday. It is a hit or miss. This is bad business in my opinion.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! It was just THAT great! The food, the atmosphere, the service... EVERYTHING was outstanding! My friend and I just happened to stumble upon this place for brunch, when Jessie's (not too far) was closed when we got there. And man oh man, was it the best thing that could've happened to us! As soon as we walked in, we felt such a warm greeting. We were asked if we wanted to sit on the Rooftop, which sounded "fancy," so we scurried on up the stairs like the excited kids inside of us! It was just extremely too hot outside😩 so we came back inside. I ask TONS of questions when I go to a new place (I can't help it..lol), but the server was extremely patient and helpful. I ended up ordering Chicken & Waffles, the Crab Cake Benedict AND grits because I couldn't decide between them (judge someone else, ok?!). All were absolutely amazing! My friend had the Brunch Burger, which she raved about as well. The Mimosas were definitely on point too. You can get a pitcher of orange juice and a whole bottle of champagne for just $22 (I think it was). The cook even came to our table at the end to make sure we enjoyed everything. The whole experience was TOP NOTCH and I will definitely return!

Very charming restaurant! The decor is reminiscent of dinning in a southern socialite’s plantation manor. The food is distinctly southern and familiar but also adds touches of unique flavour to old favorites. An example is the fried green tomatoes that forgo the ranch and instead offer fetta, bacon jam and a comeback sauce that lives up to its name sake. The waitstaff is also cheery and polite. I had a newer waiter and even he was rather knowledgeable on the menu and made great points. The food has decent portion sizes for the higher price and all three things I orders were delicious and balanced in flavour. All around a great restaurant to come to if you don’t mind a slightly higher price point for good atmosphere and comfort food with a twist.

Traveling I75 and reading menus of restaurants online, we discovered "Steel Magnolias" had Fried Green Tomatoes. Being a fan of both movies, we decided to call in to see if Friday night date night would put a damper on our stopping in amidst our travels. Eli assured us that would not be the case and to come on in. He said, "We'll have a table waiting." Luckily, this friendly young person was also our waitstaff. The fried green tomatoes and creme brulee were some of the best I've ever had. The salads were also fabulous. Without the tip, it was $46. To me, this was a fair price for the food. The bar upstairs was beautiful with large windows covered outside by climbing vines. This place is definitely well worth traveling a little more off I75.

I'm in Valdosta for work so probably would not have found this place without a recommendation from a local. I was blown away. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top shelf. I went with the special (Seared Yellowtail Snapper) and was not disappointed. Followed it up with an amazing tiramisu. Beat meal I've had in a long while.

Gamer T — Google review
We were tired from traveling all day, and I wasn't very hungry, but I knew I would be if I didn't eat, and Hubster said he was starving, so we looked for a place that would accommodate us, preferably with a good sandwich or salad for me and a meal for him... Close to the hotel. This seemed to fit the bill and it has 4.5⭐ (for some reason). The parking lot was almost packed, but since it was 7:45pm, I figured everyone was probably either finishing up or drinking, since it has a bar. We walked in and the lobby was crowded. Hubby wanted to walk right out, but I insisted on checking how long the wait was... The young man behind the hostess stand said, "Not too long. There are only three people in front of you." Well, that wasn't exactly an answer, so I said, "How long is not long?" "Not that long, if you give me your name and let me start seating people, I can get to you in probably five minutes" 😳 Really? Attitude? It took 15 minutes for him to seat us. I was a little worried he'd forget us and start seating people that came in after us, but he didn't. He called our name and sat us right around the corner from the front door; close, but hidden around a wall. Honestly, I couldn't have been happier with the seating location. The waitress, Liv, brought us three slices of soft bread that tasted fresh and homemade, though it was cold, not warmed. She mixed a plate of herbs, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar at the table for us to dip the bread in. The sweetness of the balsamic took me by surprise, as usually the dip is salty and herby. It was quite good. Liv took our order right away: a large House salad with Ranch dressing for me, and spaghetti with meatballs and a side salad with ranch (See photos of both) for Hubby. It didn't take long to come out, maybe 15 minutes? My salad was the perfect size. It was VERY fresh iceberg lettuce with tomato wedges, mild pepperccinni, pitted black olives (which were slightly bitter), and crunchy croutons (which would have been so much better if they had been homemade. They aren't that hard to do, and it seems like they'd have the old bread to make them with). It would have been very good, except they overloaded it with dressing, and this was thick dressing that sticks to the lettuce (see photo), so you can't tip the bowl and drain the dressing to one end, leaving just the right amount on your salad. 😳 Also, they came around after and topped the salad with cracked pepper. I adore cracked pepper on my salad. This was STRONG pepper 😥. It made the dressing taste more like peppercorn dressing than ranch. I wasn't in the mood for peppercorn, but... I've been craving salads lately, so... I ate most of it anyway, scraping the dressing off as best I could. Besides, it was a $14 salad. Hubs' plate was practically overflowing with spaghetti, there was so much. There were two meatballs with a marinara sauce (ACK! He found a green pepper in it and was not happy... 😂. He picked it out and said, "What do you suppose THAT is?" I told him it was a green pepper. Just put it on his other plate, he didn't need to eat it. He said, "Who the hell puts green peppers in spaghetti sauce?" 😂 A lot of people, Hun.) Here are his thoughts on the spaghetti... "I will not go back there again, at least not for spaghetti. It had some weird taste to it, a weird spice or something, and the meatballs tasted like hot dogs." His salad also had too much dressing, but he did not get cracked pepper on it, so it did not taste like peppercorn dressing. We were both full, though by the time we asked for the check, so the meal wasn't inedible. We both got water to drink, which was given to us immediately, as soon as we sat down. I asked for a straw, because I don't like drinking out of a glass. Liv told me she'd be right back with one. I never got one. The atmosphere was quite loud. The table next to us was six or eight people and they were quite rowdy. Hubby said, " It's an Italian restaurant. What do you expect? 🤷🏻‍♀️" I still say it was too loud.

It’s been at least 20 years since we’ve been to Mom and Dad’s. We ordered the Chicken Florentino and it was exceptional. The portion size filled is up and our server Jalissa was so nice and proficient. We look forward to coming back real soon. It was also nice to see Massimo and equally nice that he took the time to talk with us.

Excellent service, quality food, nice environment. Being picky: I prefer a truly brewed espresso (old school).

Very good food, except for spinach salad! Service was fair! We thought service was going to be great, because as soon as we sat, she came over and got our drink order, and said bread was in the oven, she would bring it out shortly, she never did, we had to ask for it. Then it took forever for her to bring out the cocktail, my husband ordered which was a peach martini, and took forever for him to get it, wasn’t even cold, he had to add ice to it! Once she came to get our order, my husband wanted Lasagna, and they were out of it, but never told us originally, and said later she should’ve told us, earlier when she let us know the specials. He decided to just share my spaghetti casserole with me, which was delicious! He ordered a side spinach salad, which cost $8.00, with maybe 8 spinach leaves in it, very sorry for that price. My salad, which came with the dinner was a normal decent size, bleu cheese dressing was good! Would try again, if we had a different server! All other servers seemed very attentive to their customers!

Mom and Dad’s – Classic Italian for Milestones and Meatballs Mom and Dad’s has been around forever, and for good reason—the food’s always great, the service is just as good, and it’s got that comforting, “we’ve been doing this a while” vibe. We most recently went for our 22nd wedding anniversary—which, let’s be honest, the fact that we’ve survived (I mean, thrived) that long is worth celebrating with pasta. The building itself is nothing fancy—honestly, it’s so plain you might drive past it—but inside? It’s cozy, welcoming, and full of flavor. Not an everyday spot for me, but definitely a go-to for special nights.

Stopped with my family after driving all day. Nice, quaint little place and there were a lot of people in the lobby/outside waiting. So we assumed this place was going to be awesome. It wasn’t! Caesar salad tasted and smelled fishy. I know anchovies are used in authentic Caesar dressing, but I have never experienced a fish smell/taste. Kids had pasta w/ Alfredo sauce and wife and I split spaghetti w/ meat sauce. The Alfredo was awful. Absolutely no flavor, extremely bland, and tasted watered down. Spaghetti is angel hair pasta, not spaghetti. Meat sauce was the best tasting on the table and ok at best. I don’t get the crowd and the 4.5 rating. Server wasn’t very attentive and was surprised we didn’t want to take the worst Italian we’ve ever had home. We left saying we wish we went to Olive Garden. Go there if in Valdosta.

Friends Grille and Bar is a charming local eatery in Valdosta that offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves contemporary Southern fare. This neighborhood gem is perfect for casual dining experiences, whether it's for lunch, dinner, or brunch. The menu features innovative dishes such as chicken fried short rib, grilled pork tenderloin, and butcher's cut steaks.
First visit, very impressed with outside and inside decor. Loved the open kitchen, made you feel empowered as you saw them jump into action as your food order was dropped. Super customer service and our selection of the house burgers was simply delicious. Not sure what they put on the fries but some of the best I have eaten. Bravo.

Since trying other restaurants in this restaurant group brand and enjoying it, we decided to give Friends a try and were very pleased! We ordered the pan roasted salmon (not pictured) and the ribs which were both very good! The crumbles on the salmon were tasty and I was told the ribs were excellent. The bread and the honey butter was also a hit. Our server was pleasant. Would recommend!

I went to Friends several nights ago and it was incredible. We got the pimento cheese appetizer, the filet and the chicken thighs. The homemade chips that came with the appetizer were crisp and a little spicy which added to the flavor of the whole bite. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Extremely tender and the sauce was great. My boyfriend had the chicken thighs which were tender as well and had a great flavor. The wait staff was nice and attentive. We will always come back to Friends!

Super cozy atmosphere and amazing food at a fantastic price point. Been here a few times both to take photos for the local visitors bureau and as a regular patron numerous times on my trips to Valdosta. Always friendly service, the drinks are great, and the food is great. I always opt for the large ribeye which is consistently delicious. Wish we had more restaurants like this back home in Jacksonville!

Friends Bar & Grille was the perfect spot for a going-away lunch! 🍔🍻 I hadn’t been there in a while, but it was every bit as good as I remembered. The food was delicious—from appetizers to the main course—and everything came out hot and fresh. The service was quick, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Great place to catch up with friends, share some laughs, and enjoy a solid meal. Definitely reminded me why it’s called Friends! 👏🍽️

I love this place most days but there has been a couple of times where the service was absolutely terrible. Once me and my sister were ignored for around 15 minutes before I got up to ask the host for service. Once the hostess was our server because the waitresses couldn't handle it. And today both waitresses walked past me multiple times before I got up and left. She apparently wasn't told I was her table but there is no excuse not to check on a customer if you don't know if they have received service. Hilarious since they are part of good good hospitality. The food, however, has never disappointed. All they're missing are good servers.
Jenna M — Google review
The food and the service are both very good. Servers are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. It's not Michelin Star, but you also aren't paying upwards of $100 a plate. I recommend. I like that they have substantial acoustic treatment that makes it very comfortable to talk or eat in peace.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We’ve been loyal customers here for years and always had great visits, so we thought it’d be the perfect spot to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. She even flew in from out of town and what should’ve been a warm family dinner turned into one of the most embarrassing restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. There were six of us. Two people ordered from what was clearly labeled as the dinner specials menu, only for the food to come out looking like something off the kids’ menu tiny portions with 5 small shrimp that turned out to be “appetizers”. The server never once mentioned that, and it was written in a way that any normal person would assume they were ordering full meals. When we asked, all he could say was, “Oh, it’s an appetizer I should’ve said that.” No sorry, no apology, no solution, just a shrug. A manager then came out and took the food away because we said we didn’t want to pay for the appetizers which I thought was weird as the rest of our table is eating and this was the servers fault in the first place. We were at least hopeful things would be made right. But then Payton, another manager, came to the table and made the situation ten times worse. Instead of taking ownership or offering any kind of gesture to make up for the mistake a comped dish, a dessert, even just a sincere apology she decided to argue with my mother in law on her birthday. It was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. By the time some of the food finally came out, half the table was already done eating. The entire celebration was ruined. What should’ve been a simple fix turned into a disaster, and not once did Payton or the staff show any care for the customer experience. Payton even said that it was their policy to take the food from the table that the customer says they don’t want to pay for. That’s fair, except WE didn’t mess up the order! It was the staff who misled us into ordering what should have been a meal came out as a quaint appetizer for a toddler! At the very least I was hoping we could snack on it while we wait for our actual dinner. That was not the case so me and my grandfather sat there hungry while everyone else ate their dinner. And Payton is asking us what she can do… I don’t know I don’t work there! Could have at least offered us a dessert.. SOMETHING! We left feeling humiliated and disappointed. This restaurant clearly doesn’t value returning customers or basic hospitality. We’ve spent plenty of money here over the years, but after this especially how Payton handled everything we’ll never be back. To anyone thinking about dining here: don’t waste your time or your money. There are plenty of restaurants that actually appreciate their customers and know how to handle mistakes with grace. Sadly, this is no longer one of them. To the owners: I asked Paton to speak with one of you and that I was going to be leaving a review. She will obviously tell you her side of the story that she was “polite and offered to make things right” which she absolutely did NOT. She was not compassionate, caring, or even tried to retain us as a future customer. She couldn’t care less about our awful experience at your beautiful restaurant. You may want to reconsider her position.

The store is clean and organized with fabulous merchandise for resale at reasonable prices. It is a huge store with a little bit of everything. I totally enjoyed finding my treasures to decorate my house and I know by doing so I have helped someone get their life back. Highly recommend this place.

Lots of great items but my wife and I walked out empty handed. The nice stuff had "fabulous" prices so we had to keep walking. The ministry they do and the people they have helped is wonderful. BUT I don't believe that prices should be inflated so that most common people cannot afford your wares. An example is homemade ice cream priced at $8 per pint. I'll be back, but only to look.

i recently visited Restored Treasures at 103 Avenue B, in Valdosta, GA. I parked my car in a parking lot that has many available spaces. This is a very large warehouses of items for every room for your house, office, or wherever you want it. There is a large selection of items at fair prices and I believe all goes to a benefit. It's a nice place to find that just right item(s).

Compared to the last time I was here, this place was virtually empty. They did have signs up indicating they were moving to another city, so that could explain it. Disappointed.

Loved shopping here. There are so many treasures along with furniture, pictures, clothing and much more.
Sylvia — Google review
I was a big fan, I use to recommended this place dozen of times to friends. I am extremely embarrassed and disappointed. I took my friend to restored treasures. She purchased a beautiful rod iron patio table and chair set, she explain she was from Atlanta and she would be back in 2 weeks to get it. She paid for it in FULL. She called a week before and verified she would be down in 1 week to get it. They said fine. We came back in 2 weeks and they had resold it. It gets better, they couldn't give her, her money back because their manger was not there. They wanted to give her store credit or mail her a check. The manager was not there, we had to come back 2 hours later to get a check. I understand this is a charity etc., my problem is this is a business. You need to communicate better and your management needs to take responsibility for your volunteers actions. Not one management person or person's with authority spoke to us. I will never go back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Winnersville 2025 It took over 1 hour to get into the stadium. Once at the gate they did not let us bring in our horns & bells. This policy was not posted anywhere on the grounds or online. Upon getting to our seats (vistor side) they were small. I am over 6' tall and I had to sit sideways. This stadium is awful. GO VIKINGS!!!

.y first time to this stadium. It is very nice and in a good location but the parking. If I never go back again it is because of the parking. Parking attendants wirh bad attitudes and no matters. A simple question sets them off. I thought Georgia was the friendly state. Not at the stadium. I hope that during the off-season, they fix the parking issues.

At the heart of downtown Valdosta stands the impressive Lowndes County Courthouse, a magnificent Neo-classical building constructed in 1905. Surrounded by charming structures that have been repurposed into retail stores, offices, and restaurants, this courthouse serves as a focal point for the community. Additionally, visitors can explore some of the area's oldest churches located in this historic downtown area.
I recently visited the Lowndes County Courthouse at 100 E Central Ave, in Valdosta, GA. The courthouse is no longer an active courthouse and has guided tours and special events only. I took the tour of the courthouse with a lady that knew much about its history and she showed me around the building. It was a great afternoon learning about the building and some of the surrounding buildings and the history of the area. A very good experience.

Pinwheels did a fantastic job longarming my first quilting project. They were great at walking me through the process and answered any questions I had. I love how the design turned out.

I was new in town and had gotten a Bernina machine just prior to moving and needed instruction and help on learning to embroider. I had two private guide classes at Pinwheels and not only did I learn and finish two projects but also found it to be a great place to make new friends with the same shared sewing hobby. I had started a project last week to embroider on a white denim jacket to be worn at a dog show the following week and not even a quarter of the way through my hoop popped off and I could not place it back to match up and continue to complete it. I called Douglas and he said he could fix it. I brought it in and was thrilled to see what the new 990 Bernina could do. It scanned what I had already done and overlayed the completed design on the screen. You then Adjusted the controls on the Machine to match the design of what I had onto what the finished one would come out to be. After locking it in place it began to complete the design where I had left off. My project was complete and I was overjoyed !!! Thank you Douglas!!! I don’t know anywhere else I have been, that I was treated every time with the kindness and help I needed. They go above and beyond in customer service.

Great place with tons of fabric! Have lots of crafts there for quilting as well along with sewing machines and thread to buy. Workers were super helpful getting our cutting size since we weren’t sure. Definitely coming back!
Kendall B — Google review
I was at Pinwheels yesterday testing out the Bernina 990 on a Kimberbell embroidery project. I reached a point and thought I used the wrong size quilt block so took it out of the hoop, only to find I was doing it right. I told the store owner, Douglas that it was such an easy, small block that I would start over. He said no, we can use the new camera/scan feature, line it up and finish it. Wow, was I impressed with my trainer's help and the new B990 machine capabilities. He showed me what to do and my project was lined up quickly and perfectly! I'm sold! Go and give this machine a test drive. I already own the 790 Pro and learned how to use it at Pinwheels and had it serviced there. I do not work there but highly recommend them!!! I hope to make more friends to learn from in his future classes!!

Old school. The way we old people like it. No stupid lights. No charging by the hour. Just good clean bowling. If I had to be picky I'd say the bumpers are not automatic, once you start with bumpers up, the rest of the party is forced to use them. The food was great. Had a hamburger and fries combo. And the service was on point 👉. The cashier was this pretty young thing. And they brought the food to me. It was good 👍 service

I walk on eggshells every time i visit this place. The staff are young so there is no structure in the place at all. There are teens running all around and over kids skipping lines the arcade isn’t worth it anymore and parents leave their kids unattended as in drop them off and leave. This used to be a place where kids can jump and be free while parents relax and are able to keep a close eye on their kids now you dang near have to jump with your kids to make sure they are safe. I really wish some serious structure rules and regulations take place because this is literally about the only fun spot in the city

Excellent place to bring the family something for all ages. Regular jump area, dodge ball and obstacle course for big kids small kids have a small area just for toddlers, massage chairs and video games including VR games for those who don’t want to jump and spectators are no charge that’s a plus. Prices are not bad $15 per child for 1 hr of jump plus $3 for socks place is entertaining and never over crowded

Never again. Went for birthday party. Ac not working way too hot couldn’t stay in party room. Attendant for party room came by one time and left. Try to take kids to arcade. Most of games not working. Take money then say error or nothing at all. Ask staff about it and they say yeah they do that. Not worth cost at all. Will never be back

I used to love this place, but it has fallen so far. The employees are a joke and wouldn't last a couple of days in any other company. The issue is that it is unsafe; every time I have come here, I have discussed the mats separating from the springs, and every time, I am told by an employee that they will fix it. Instead, the employees just sit in a circle on the floor chatting instead of doing their job. If a child breaks an ankle by getting caught in a spring, especially after several other parents and I have mentioned this several times, there will be a lawsuit, and you will lose because of your negligence.

The trampoline park is great. It's definitely creative and my wife, my daughter, and I really had a good time. It was totally worth parents paying to bounce too! My only critique is that the music wasn't appropriate for kids. The songs mentioned drugs and alcohol, some veiled sexual references, and there were a few cuss words. That's the only thing that's making me second guess it for when she's a bit older. That's just not really necessary when there's so much good music out there that's also appropriate for kids, considering it is mainly for them. That aspect just felt out of place. Overall, a good experience though.

Jump'N Jacks 4 Kidz is an entertainment center designed for young children, offering a variety of inflatable toys and slides for both drop-in play and parties. The facility features a large inflatable area where kids can have a blast. It's a great place for kids aged 11 and under, with plenty of seating for parents and free WiFi available. Additionally, there are areas specifically set aside for smaller kids and toddlers.
we had a birthday party for a three-year-old and everybody enjoyed it the kids had a blast. The only thing I would recommend them to do would be to put some kind of a door on the party room even if it's just a half a door cuz we had a hard time keeping the little kids in. And everybody was a little bit hot in that building I had on a sweater and I was not hot but everybody else was hot and took off their sweaters and jackets and were hot.. a good time a happy time was had by all I can't really complain. Parking in a wet field was only flaw...gravel would go along way to make a difference.

Great fun for the kids (11 and under)at a good price. They also don't make parents pay like Jungle Gyms does. Plenty of seating for parents and FREE WIFI lol. Could use more TVs for football games on Sundays. Decent selection a far as food goes and the prices are not outrageous. Friendliness of the service varies depending on who you have taking your order. My kids love it and I love that it wears them out. Even a small area set aside for smaller kids/toddlers.

We’ve been taking our babies here since 2012. We went this past Friday and they had the best customer service, quick food! Love that parents do not have to pay! It would be awesome if some of the games didn’t require 4-8 tokens but other than that we had a blast as well as our kiddos! The lady up front was so kind and helpful!

Great place. Family and especially kid friendly. My kids love coming here. Don’t believe the recent one star reviews. They did not break the law nor ask a mother to leave. I have seen the social media “campaign” and it appears that this is someone with an agenda and not a legitimate customer. Will continue to have my kids birthday parties here.

Lounge
Stogies Downtown, located in Valdosta, GA, is a refined cigar shop that caters to both aficionados and novices. Situated in downtown Valdosta, the establishment offers a carefully curated assortment of high-quality cigars and accessories within an elegant environment. Visitors can unwind in the luxurious lounge or explore the diverse humidor while enjoying exceptional service and Southern hospitality. The inviting atmosphere provides cozy spaces for engaging conversations over a glass of Port paired with a favorite cigar or pipe.
Mr. Eddi and Mr. Kevin I believe that is their names. They are very friendly and Kevin is very knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to look around when you stop by. They have a great selection of cigars and pipe tobacco in the back. No GTO's (the best cegars if you're able to find them, the pain killers are my personal favorite)... Mr. Kevin pointed me in the direction of The Judge. A very good cigar if you like full body. Mr. Kevin supplied me with a complimentary water witch I am very thankful for! They have a bar and a few rooms. The coolest one is the one in the back called "Valdosta is TITLETOWN"... there are cool magazines to read, darts to throw, comfortable chairs, and the lighting is great! Really takes me back to the Drake in Chicago! The one thing I would change is the TV I would put classical cartoons and the music I would recommend is 1940's music for a quiet background noise. From the design of this place it looks like they are very knowledgeable of the Airforce! This place has inspired me to become part of the Airforce if I were to be drafted. However I think my high blood pressure would not allow me to pursue this inspiration. Over all a great time. I stopped by on a long travle from Atlanta-Miami as I am a sales rep and really appreciate places like this. I will share some photos but the rest you need to come in and find out for yourself.

Great place to grab a cigar or pipe and fellowship with others. I have yet to meet a stranger at stogies. There is great selection of basket and higher end pipes and multiple options for pipe tobacco. Large humidor room with a great selection of quality cigars.

Absolutely a must for the connoisseur of the finer things in life. The most well appointed Cigar Bar in the region. Excellent selections for every taste...a necessity for the curious. More than aesthetically pleasing, the atmosphere is marvelously inviting, with its cozy nooks for lengthy stimulating conversations enhanced by a glass of Port while relishing your favorite cigar or pipe. You will not be disappointed. I loved this place so much that I eventually got a job here. Come and join us for your favorite cigar and beverage.

Was stationed here over 45 years ago. Use to visit the park then. Was a place to meet people. First visit since 1979. I like the upgrades at the park. Hopefully people still hang out at the park to have a good time.

Nice park. Lots of room, grass is green and mowed. Plenty of seating and some shade. The bathrooms are abominable. I have used cleaner port-a-pots at beer festivals. WTH?! Once a week is NOT enough cleaning. You could not step ANYWHERE on the women’s room floor without crunching at least 3 bugs. It would scare children. Very unsanitary.

Nice quiet park, love walking around the track. Clean, beautiful area, but some people smoke weed out there or very near to there, and it ruins the experience.

Performing arts theater
The Theatre Guild Valdosta, established in 1989, is a prominent live entertainment venue that has been captivating audiences for 34 seasons. The guild's own theatre, The Dosta Playhouse, was once a depression-era movie theatre and now serves as the vibrant home of Valdosta's Theatre Guild. With four main stage productions and two children's productions annually, the guild showcases top-notch live entertainment featuring local talent. Additionally, it educates young actors through the Gingerbread Players program.
We were in town for hurricane relief work and came across a poster for *Alice in Wonderland* as we were leaving The Bistro after dinner. Since it's my favorite Disney movie, I looked up the theater's website as soon as we got to our vehicle to check ticket availability and showtimes. Before we even got back to the hotel, I had tickets ordered! It was such a great value for an amazing experience—and it was a sold-out show. The young girl playing Alice was phenomenal! Her performance was so natural, and her accent was perfect. She has a bright future in acting if she chooses to pursue it. The actor playing the Cheshire Cat was fantastic, too. His performance gave us all a good laugh! The Queen of Hearts, however, was a bit much for me. She was so intense—shouting extremely loud—but I understand she wanted her voice to carry across the theater. I just didn’t appreciate being screamed at from the stage. Tweedledee and Tweedledum were hilarious! You could tell they were having a blast, and their energy was contagious. The flowers were adorable, though I would’ve loved it if they had sung, as that’s one of my favorite moments in the movie. That would’ve made my heart absolutely overflow. The stage props were beautiful and so well done. During intermission, they offered free cupcakes and water. I didn’t have cash on me for a donation, so I didn’t grab any, but they looked delicious! Being a huge theater fan, this show truly made my time in Valdosta memorable, lifting my spirits after such an emotional time spent there.

Was visiting Valdosta this past weekend and stopped in to see The Story of Hansel and Gretel. Where do I start? Yo find out that most of the cast and crew were younger than adult age... WOW. I went with my 21 yr old son, his girlfriend and my 12 year old daughter. Left wishing I had brought my mom and 3 yr old niece. Some if the takeaways was that Frick and Frack were simply delightful, The Troll won the leos in the family (if you know you know lol), the dew princess had a beautiful voice and the echo was just adorable as her personality shown through. Hansel and Gretel were great but let's talk about the star of the show... the Gingerbread Witch!!!! She took my breathe away. I am definitely fan girling and plan to follow this rising star. I won't say too much bc you need to see for yourself As for the actual theater, it was much smaller than I imagined in my head so don't wait until the last minute to buy tickets I can definitely see it selling out easily. However it was pleasant. We came casual bc it was not on our agenda and we felt fine. Some people were dressed a little better in slacks and dresses but nothing over the top. It was not too cold which was great and the smaller size meant that the seats all had pretty good views! Will be returning for more to come!

So glad we stopped in here for lunch. They had some amazing sweet tea that hit the spot. All of the things we ordered were good. The calamari and the gator bites were great. Neither were tough at all. I got a sampler platter with grouper and couldn't even finish it all. Can't wait to go back.

We absolutely love Bubba Jax and make a point to go each time we are in the area. We had been in St Augustine for a week and were on our way home, the food, service and atmosphere blew every place we went to in St Augustine away!! We were seated right away, we arrived at the right time it seemed as it was packed by the time we left! We ordered our drinks and the gator tail for our appetizer. The gator tail was AMAZING! We could not get over how great tasting it was!! My husband ordered the grouper dinner that included 2 blackened grouper, 2 sides (salad and homemade onion rings) and hush puppies. He said all was fantastic, with great flavors! I ordered the Bubba Jax combo that included snow crab legs, corn, sausage and potatoes with Bubba Jax seasoning and drawn butter. There are no adequate words to describe how PHENOMENAL this meal was! Seasoned to perfection! The Bubba Jax seasoning was beyond great and just added to the amazing flavors! Our server Tracie was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! She was very busy but kept checking on us and making sure we had all we needed. We were too full for dessert but we left more than satisfied! This will forever be our favorite place, for many reasons!

I was passing through Valdosta + came across this restaurant. I ordered the 2lb Snow Crab Dinner for $48 and it was enough for two people. I received about 5 clusters total and 2 sides, which was shared. The customer service was great and the quality of the food was great. I was craving good quality crab without it being in a boil bag.

Came in thinking jt would be an ok place. I ordered the grouper meal with a salad and fries. The salad was one of the best salads I have ever had. I never thought to put mozzarella on a salad like that. It also seemed freshly made. The fries were similar, hot and firm Ina good way. The grouper was so firm, but perfectly cooked and seasoned well with th3 blackened seasoning. The only issue I have is on the alcohol cooler. Clearly placed Trump sticker. I hope they learn that Trump is the worst thing for small businesses like this one.

Texas Roadhouse is a lively chain steakhouse that offers American cuisine with a Southwestern twist, set amidst Texas-themed decor. Known for its hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and signature house-made rolls, the restaurant provides a vibrant dining experience. Despite initial reservations about visiting the establishment, one customer had an exceptional experience largely due to their server's attentive and friendly service.
Food was great. Restaurant was hopping. Service was good. It always bothers me though when the server won’t take away your dirty dishes. They just let them sit there, so you push them to the very edge as a hint and the server still leaves them. Yhea that irks me. The steakhouse salad was great though.

The bring-home meal option offers good value, and the food quality is generally decent.
It’s been a long time since we had eaten at an Olive Garden, and even longer since we had eaten lunch in one. The food and service were both very good, but I must confess that I didn’t remember them having a lunch menu. There was a time when $12 for lunch was high, but now it seems to be the going rate. A “combo” meal at Chick Fli A isn’t a lot less than that and isn’t as good.

Gallon of Zappa Toscana WATERED down, no grease, Very crunchy Kale (Here it's half the time....other locations its a hour...) UNDERcooked & NEEDS Salt No plasticware was given No napkins Now give me back my cash tip!! This is what makes it so I won't be leaving tips next time.... And they wonder why...... It gets old, giving money away, and they can't even get stuff right.... 6 Plain Breadsticks **NO SEASONINGS OR BUTTER** MUSHY No chocolates given any more?? Got to ask for cheese here to??? Wow Apparently, I was told in so many words that if you order it in the morning here, you'll get watered down, crunchy kale, barely any flavor soup..... SO, if ya like me & like a little flavor and grease...order in the evening! I'm just so disappointed that I wasn't told prior to buying it. Let me tell y'all... Those breadsticks at PENSACOLA OG are to die for!! No, Lie!! Y'all are missing out!! It's even better when you order them and do the option to bake at your house!! That's over there, though! I guess I should have looked in the bag before I left. But I believe that we shouldn't have to check for everything that they should put in there, Oh, I called and believe they put me on hold in hope I get tired of waiting... Seemed like the same person answered. after putting me on hold and I had to explain everything again.... I waited.... I called to see if they would replace it, but apparently its supposed to be like that. They don't even try to make it right here! I was going to take it back to them if they would exchanged it. Also, others thought it was undercooked, and well, we expected to eat it then and not let it sit. Trashcan everything went! what a waste of Money!! I should have done a video of the soup before I tossed it.

I just want to stop and say that they were SO busy tonight on 12/9/2023 around 8pm I THINK is when we got there… anywho they sat us immediately and we got the best waitress ever, named Michelle. She was so good. She was sweet and happy, she was quick and efficient she didn’t leave us hanging a single time. She was ON TOP of our stuff. We thanked her in person and told the very kind middle aged black woman (a manager ) who was also very attentive and on top of ensuring the entire dining room was happy and content. However, I just wanted to come here as well and say you all are blessed to have Michelle and she definitely made our FIRST EVER experience at Olive Garden (my husband has been but not me or my two boys) INCREDIBLE. Thank you Michelle, thank you to the managers there and thank you Olive Garden. Merry Christmas and I’m excited to go back. Oh and trust me, Olive Garden is WORTH EVERY PENNY - great service, food and unlimited bread and soup or salad with every entree?!!! 😍😍

The few times that we have come to the olive garden it has been a pleasurable experience. Out of the times we went there, we only had one poor experience, but the good servers far outweigh, the one bad server experience and the other areas of this survey wants me to rate is way better and give it at least a 4 from me. The new manager does seem to genuinely care about our feedback and takes the time to listen to any concerns that we as the customer may have.
DARKSEID007 — Google review
My husband and I came here for a nice dinner a couple days ago, and we got the never-ending pasta. He got the meat pasta. It was all watered down. There was no meat. It looked like they took the noodles out through some watery sauce on and served it to him that way. The chicken gnocchi was very good, but it was very thick and wasn’t soup like it was more like an entrée not a soup. I have to say our waitress was excellent, but when we asked to see the manager due to the terrible taste and appearance of my husband‘s meal apparently she refused to come over and talk to us and credited us for just his Pasta and charged us for the soup. I can’t believe that a manager even after asking the waitress for the manager to come over, She was more concerned about setting up for a big party that was coming in then taking care of her customers that were already there. Extremely disappointing and we won’t be coming back. If you’re in management act like a manager, do your job.

Barbecue restaurant
Nestled in Valdosta, Georgia, Woodstack BBQ Tavern is a delightful spot for anyone craving authentic Southern barbecue. Since its opening in 2015, this low-key eatery has been serving up mouthwatering smoked meats and classic sides that will transport your taste buds straight to the South. Whether you're indulging in their tender pulled pork or savoring the smoky goodness of St. Louis ribs, each dish is crafted with care and flavor.
I recently visited the Woodstack Restaurant at 4038 N Valdosta Rd, in Valdosta, GA. My son, daughter in law, and myself went to one of the first reopening days for this restaurant in January. The place was filled and the atmosphere was good. Our server got to our table timely and got our drink and food orders going. We shared our food and even got dessert. A real nice looking bar too.

First visit while passing through for work. I eat a lot of BBQ, so my standards are high in this category. Good decent BBQ, packed parking lot states how good this place is. Pork Rinds were great as an appetizer. Pulled pork was good, St. Louis ribs were okay, not fall apart. Great job on the sides namely the collards and whole fried okra. Mac and Cheese was good, whatever cheese they put in it had a different taste than what I’m used too and I really enjoyed it. Sauces were good, I enjoyed the sweat and spicy. This place sells Shiner beer which is always a plus, service was so nice from the waitresses

Second time stopping here. We stopped here mainly because of a review on the app bring Fido. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with Cajun fries. Good size sandwich and ample portion of fries. My wife had the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. Good also. Our dogs were able to relax on the outdoor patio. Dog friendly.

Leisa was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. Her bar tending skills and great attitude were the highlight of our visit next to the recommendations she provided from the menu!

My first visit here. I sat at the bar area and enjoyed the Honeysuckle Stinger cocktail, which was AMAZING. The brisket was PLENTIFUL. The brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious. Cannot wait to come back.

Along our way from NW Ga to Miami, it seems we always find ourselves in Valdosta around lunchtime. I #googled places to eat and came across a BBQ restaurant (Woodstack) 2 miles south of the exit. The restaurant had this southern charm to it and very clean. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, collard greens, and a side of tomatoes and okra over rice. My husband had a pork plate, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. There are 3 homemade sauces to choose from, sweet, vinegar, and a mustard blend. I mixed the vinegar with the sweeter sauce and it was delicious! The pork was tender and full of flavor. Tasty collard greens and fresh tomatoes and okra. I've had good BBQ in my life and I would have to say this was my top 3. But here's the topper ... this restaurant is family-owned and they offer gluten-free options. Key points to take away are: -Excellent food -Clean and welcoming -Good price -Gluten Free options -Kids menue -privately owned supporting local mom and pop businesses. A MUST VISIT!! Oh, it has a full bar with high-top tables.

Came in for ribs, but got sidetracked by the Special. The Schnitzel (for Oktoberfest) was delicious, with large portions. We sat in the bar area and Hannah gave us A+ service, legitimately one of the friendliest servers I've had in a while.

This place hands down rates 10 stars on everything. I don't go out to eat regularly, but when I have the urge for BBQ, you rock. Absolutely the best pulled pork, and your food is always cooked to perfection. The very, very best is your cream corn..the okra is amazing well its easier to say everything I've had most everything on the menu and highly recommend your establishment. Not just the food but your servers as well. Always greeted with a smile and love the pig costume...😂 Please never change a thing. Thank you its always been my pleasure going there. Fries and the sides are all freshly made. Please don't ever change a thing. See you soon!

Visited Jacks Chophouse for lunch and opted to sit in the bar area. As a truck driver, I initially felt out of place in this upscale restaurant. However, the staff proved to be very friendly and provided efficient service. I ordered beef tips with mashed potatoes, which were delicious and served in an appropriate portion size for a midday meal.
Our server was Addi and she was AMAZING! She was so kind, polite, and cheerful. It was so refreshing to have such good service. We would come back just for the service alone. But there's no need for that because the food was amazing as well.
Steve — Google review
We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s graduation—a special occasion she was excited about and had personally made the reservation for. When we arrived, the atmosphere seemed vibrant and busy. We sat at the bar for cocktails while waiting for our table and were served by a bartender who was attentive and pleasant, though clearly overwhelmed and in need of support. Once we were finally seated, our server Taylor was polite but seemed just as overwhelmed. What followed was a nearly two-hour wait for our food. Despite repeated check-ins, Taylor could only tell us the kitchen was “working on it,” with no updates or accountability. What made this experience significantly worse was how poorly management handled the situation. Several managers were visibly walking the floor, but when I approached one to express our frustration after waiting almost two hours, his response was shockingly dismissive: “Everyone else is waiting too.” No apology. No urgency. Just a shrug and then he walked away. When our food finally arrived, it was unsurprisingly cold and unappetizing. There was no attempt to make it right—no manager came back to check in, no gesture of goodwill, not even basic hospitality. This was supposed to be a memorable night for our daughter. Instead, it became a frustrating experience that showed how little this restaurant seems to care about its guests—even on special occasions. Based on how management handled this, we will not be returning, and we sincerely hope others reconsider before spending their time and money here.

Love Jack's! Delicious steaks, perfectly prepared! Our dog, Jack, loves it too! He gets steak tips on the pet friendly patio! Great service.
Darla S — Google review
The service was very good, as was the steak, and that’s coming from someone who generally isn’t a fan of steak. We arrived at 6pm on a Monday night and there was no wait for a table. Food and drinks were all top shelf. My wife and I each had the NY strip and we shared a huge piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Our total with tip was about $100.
Ken — Google review
All in all it was worth a try. The food was good but not sure how I feel about the overall experience. We came here for 6 year anniversary dinner. We made a reservation for two at 6:30pm. When we got there they sat us at a table in the bar area not the dinner room. Not a romantic dinner when everyone is waiting for their tables at the bar speaking loudly and have to wait for the bartender to wait our table. I was also thrown off by their drink menus. Most places don’t put pricing on the drinks which I understand however if you make a change you should print out a new menu. Having the prices blacked out seems sketchy to me and kinda tacky for an upscale place like this.

Got a to-go order. Took forever. Was keep being told just 10 more minutes. Food quality was top quality. Atmosphere was very inviting. The staff was very friendly. Conveniently located off the interstate.

Great food! by far the best steaks in the area. AJ was our waiter & was very attentive & personable. I highly recommend this place whether traveling through town or local resident. Nice ambiance & decor. Great menu options. Definitely a delight. Resist the chain restaurant options . You won’t be sorry for dining at Jacks.
Linda G — Google review
Me and my husband came in tonight for the first time and it most definitely won’t be our last! First off, I like the atmosphere here. It’s sophisticated but still has a casual southern feel which I like. Especially since we came in in jeans and a t-shirt! Secondly, our server Hara was great. She practically waited on us hand and foot, which was much appreciated even though me and my husband are easy to please! Next, the food was amazing. My husband got the prime rib and it was absolutely delicious, as was everything else we got. Lastly, for the portion sizes you get I was pleasantly surprised with the price! I’m a frugal person but I was very pleased with our total. $100 for 2 drinks, a beer, a good sized appetizer (we couldn’t finish it), 2 meals (one was the most expensive steak), and a dessert! Look no further for a great steakhouse in all aspects, just come here!

Movie theater
Valdosta Cinemas, located at 1608 Baytree Road in Valdosta, GA, is a 16-screen movie theater that showcases first-run feature films with digital projection and sound. The theater offers stadium seating, a party room, and the option to watch 3D movies. Additionally, there is a lobby snack bar serving food and drinks. Recent visitors have praised the comfortable reclining chairs and the improved 3D auditorium.
Chairs were great , soft comfortable reclining chairs! Loved the experience for sure.... Only thing I didn't care for is there are kiosks to order tickets and they send through your email so be prepared. I didn't get my email right away so I went and asked the lady up front and she went ahead and printed them for me.
Angi D — Google review
Really comfortable and organized movie theater. Everytime I go there’s not many people. Probably because I mostly go on the week. Combos are pricey I got charged 30 dollars for one that has medium popcorn two drinks and a chocolate. But if you are a member you get discount specially on Tuesday’s, discount is for the tickets and small popcorns. So go on Tuesday lol. Bathrooms are usually not that clean that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars.
Andrea B — Google review
We have been coming here for over 10 years the staff is always been great. But lately some of the new theater room chairs need replacing due to being used so much. So I guess that’s a good thing it being a highly popular place to hang out with the children, family or loved one.
Joy H — Google review
Check in went really smoothly and the young ladies at the front were ready and willing to help wherever possible. There were lots of availability, the seats were comfortable and the movie theater sounds were just right and not too loud. The temperature setting was great, finally sat at a theater that didn’t freeze me to the point to where I would be uncomfortable. I’ll definitely visit again when I visit Valdosta Ga.
Landon P — Google review
The only positive about this theater is the chairs, but the staff sucks. 2 stars at best. Everyone is consistently mean and lazy, they didn’t even bother wiping down the seats or cleaning our theater. Actually heard them admit that they haven’t gotten around to cleaning our theater and the movie was supposed to start in 10 minutes. I can confirm they never did as I had to sit in Chocolate the entire movie while some nasty girl in front of us was picking her toes and sticking her feet in the air. I paid 40 dollars to see a movie and left with ruined shorts and some strange stories to tell
Spencer S — Google review
I came to this theater in May, the opening weekend of the new Lilo and Stitch movie and the first things I noticed was how nasty the glass doors were. The popcorn station had dirty napkins, open straws, and trash everywhere. The bathrooms smelled and every surface was untidy. The seats had trash from the previous movie in it. I chopped it up to it being in the middle of the day and the theater being overrun with people excited to see movies. I have now come for the opening weekend of the bad guys movie 2 and we are at the first showing of the day movie that just opened and I am beyond shocked. The doors are disgusting yet again. As I’m trying to order my snacks for my family the manager and employee are literally talking to each other giggling and laughing while I am trying to communicating my order. I went to the bathroom and had to go to three different stalls before I found a clean enough toilet, There was hair and dirt all over the floor. The staff was incredibly unmotivated, and unwelcoming. And I am writing this review sitting from my chair in the theater where I found trash in my cupholder and on the floor yet again. I don’t even usually leave reviews, but I feel like something needs to be said for the staff to do better. Take pride in your business, and have your employees take pride in their job. I write this so that their is awareness and the movies can be a place that is enjoyable experience for all.
Bryant S — Google review
The seating is a little loved, but the experience is great! The food and drinks are a little expensive but worth the splurge. I wish ticket prices weren't so high, but I want to support my local theater as much as I can when I can.

Regional airport
Valdosta Regional Airport is a charming little gem that truly enhances your travel experience. With clearly marked parking options for both short and long-term stays, it makes arriving and departing a breeze. The TSA staff here are not only efficient but also friendly, ensuring you feel welcomed as you navigate through security. While the airport primarily offers Delta flights to Atlanta twice daily, it's an excellent alternative to larger airports in Jacksonville or Atlanta, especially if you're looking for convenience without the crowds.
So convenient. It's small so there are no large crowds. Free Parking. Clean inside. My only gripe was we were boarded and then had to wait a half hour for the crew to fuel the plane. Its the only plane and it was there when I arrived an hour prior to my flight. Thankfully my connecting flight was not leaving Atlanta for a couple hours. Would definitely fly out and In Valdosta again.
Angela A — Google review
Nice little regional airport with Service from Delta to Atlanta 3 times a day. The Subway restaurant is good and fresh. The owner and his son did awesome and I had a great chat with the owner as well.
William B — Google review
Worst airport I’ve ever traveled to. Smoking hot inside. Water cooler not working. Cleaners vacuuming right next to you in the middle of a Saturday. Parking is awful. Avis desk is rude and slow. Security is still in the stone ages. Worst!
Scott G — Google review
Clean, hassle-free, free parking, can be better with: 1. A flight to MIA 2. A flight to NYC 3. Another airline other than Delta 4. Shorter wait time for my luggage after a day of travel... seriously
N. A — Google review
If possible, avoid this airport like the plague. They have 3 flights that fly in and out daily—all to/from ATL. My flight was the first one out at 6am and was delayed 4x incrementally by 5.5 hours. All due to what they claimed to first be “unknown issues.” The first notification I received for the delay was the night prior around 11pm—so they had a solid 7 hours to find a puddle jumper plane to depart on time. Then, after a few hours, the staff had stated that the airport lost electricity and had no WiFi to scan tickets of passengers to board the plane. When I had arrived at 445am, there was no WiFi so it took the crew nearly 5 hours to determine that issue. The staff/crew had zero sense of urgency for the passengers. Nearly half of the flight was rebooked AND given the lengthy multiple delays, also missed their rebooked connection flights. Between the airport and Delta airlines, these folks should consider another career path. No urgency, no risk mitigation, no problem solving skills.
Tessa B — Google review
Arriving at the airport is no issue, departing from this airport is horrible for someone who has severe anxiety. Security staff are very condescending and rude when rushing you to your plane, the blonde white middle-aged woman with short curly hair made multiple unnecessary comments during the security process while the taller white younger female with dyed hair and glasses made another rude and slight comment when rushing me through the gates. All of the gentlemen and one younger black woman were more than helpful and just tried to make sure to have my items altogether as I was being rushed through so that I didn’t leave anything behind. I’m not sure what warranted the hostility when I’m the one in the hurry, if I get left I get left, but to have all these snide remarks jabbed at me as I’m moving through was unnecessary, belittling, and embarrassing as I had a panic attack embarking on the airplane and was asked by another passenger if I was okay. So, if you have mental health issues, I’d rather deal with the hospitality of a larger airport like JAX or ATL who never treated me like that. Granted I sat there for several more minutes before the plane closed the doors and started the safety procedures, so it was severely unwarranted.
Cheyenne P — Google review
I usually love the Valdosta Airport but I am sitting here and I am roasting! They said the AC has been broke for a week. Why would it take a week to get the parts and get it fixed. Not acceptable! And I never do negative reviews but this is crazy!

Love this park. I take my children a few times a week. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the parking absolutely sucks. If you're not one of the 1st 5/6 people there to get a designated parking spot, then you'll have to come up with one lol.

I recently visited the Wood Valley Park at 2140 Gornto Rd, in Valdosta, GA. It is a very nice community park with many trees. I use the walking path they have there weekly. It has bathrooms, although I don't know when open. A dog poop station, a new library lending book kiosk, a covered patio area, and a community use center. Plenty of parking.

A good little place to stop on your way up or down I-75. Playground is good for multiple kids, with even a couple baby/toddler swings. Bathrooms seem to be closed on the weekends, but the Publix nearby works for those purposes. It needs a good pressure washing but it's a quite little place for kids to run around and get their wiggles out.

Remerton Mill Apartments is located in the town of Remerton, which was established in 1899 to cater to the needs of workers at Strickland Cotton Mills. Initially a textile mill town, it consisted of three streets with sixty-five houses, a school, and three churches. The apartment complex is conveniently close to VSU and provides regular updates about the surrounding environment. The staff members are known for their hands-on approach and excellent service.

>> Do not move here!!! They will charge you for normal wear and tear on the property after you move out!!!!! There’s a maintenance man who assisted with pest control services and he was extremely rude and obnoxious. He is the most disrespectful person I have ever met and certainly does not know how to interact with residents respectfully. The property should reconsider who they are hiring and how they treat residents.

This is a friendly family farm that provides for our local community. They were super helpful, allowing me to pick up a little outside their normal times due to a personal obligation. The produce was delicious. I bought the freshest onions and used them to make a fabulous chicken noodle soup. The flavorful onions absolutely made the soup special. I also got squash and corn, and my family enjoyed everything. In today’s world of mass-production farming and produce being shipped thousand of miles, buying local is super special.

If you’re looking for local farm fresh vegetables this is the place to go to! This is a locally owned and operated farm. The owners are friendly and take pride in farming. There are rows of sweet white corn, eggplants, tomatoes, sweet cantaloupes and watermelons. They also have several kinds of beautiful sunflowers. I stopped by this past week and purchased several items. The white corn is sweet and tender. Eggplants are fresh no browning. The tomatoes are delicious. They have red and green (great for friend green tomatoes). They’ve held up pretty good. The cantaloupes are very sweet. I also got a handful of various sunflowers that the girls grew! A special thank you for Mark's effort for making an arrangement for us to view some truly excellent works of the faculty's teachers, professors by opening the gallery for us!🙏McKenzie and Shawnee were sweet and knowledgeable students adding a special touch to our memorable experience! VSU is in a beautifully designed architecture building Valdosta shall be very proud of! Thank you ALL involved for the tour!

Memorial park
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial is a captivating outdoor park that celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King through various memorial stones and plaques detailing his contributions to the Civil Rights Movement. Visitors can admire an impressive obelisk featuring excerpts from his iconic "I Have A Dream" speech, making it a significant stop for anyone exploring Valdosta, GA. While the memorial's beauty shines through, there are suggestions for improvements in maintenance and landscaping to enhance the visitor experience further.
It was previously listed as "Permanently Closed", however, it is open to the public. This is an outdoor park with many memorial stones containing facts and information from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's life. The obelisk has passages from his "I Have A Dream" speech. It is a must-see if you are passing through Valdosta, GA.

Beautiful memorial. Inadequately publicized. Needs improved maintenance and events at this location. Upgrade the landscaping and trash removal. Fountain has not been working for a long time. Upgrade the open area across the road for parking for events.
Burton F — Google review
It's a really nice moment with information on civil rights and Martin Luther King Jr. The low rating is because there were some shady people trying to hide behind bushes as I pulled up and ran as I left. This isn't the first time I have noticed something like this while visiting.
Joshua H — Google review
Driving by we saw this monument listed and decided to stop. There are various plaques with information on the Civil Rights and a plinth bearing some of Dr. Kings “I have a Dream.” Speech. Right in the downtown area.

Spacious wildlife refuge offering swampy nature walks, a boardwalk & a tower in serene surroundings.
Lovely little walk, baby gators were everywhere. The sun almost melted my face into my skull, but seeing little dinosaurs so comfy in their zone, was awesome and worth it.
Laura F — Google review
No dogs allowed. Stroller friendly. Quick there and back maybe a mile? Large lookout tower!! We love going here, the boardwalk needs a little love from recent storms, but its not bad. Watch out for all kinds of wildlife! Alligators, snakes, frogs!
Mattison D — Google review
Great spot to visit for a quick walk, the boardwalk could use a little help with some boards, the watch tower was neat with great views.
Jamie M — Google review
Beautiful place to visit. We took our children and they enjoyed it too! We saw a snake (on the board walk) and a baby alligator. The picnic area was nice. Bathrooms needed cleaning though! A nice place to go for a short outing. We will definitely visit again.
Ginger L — Google review
Great time exploring this beautiful cypress swamp! It borders Moody AFB so we got a treat watching the jets overhead. Nice boardwalk back through the swamp to a tower where you can see the beautiful swamp They also have an education center which is great for kids. There were two buses of elementary school kids enjoying the park today
Debra — Google review
Beautiful place and an easy, family-friendly hike with some cool highlights along the way! The tower and boardwalk is the coolest part! You could walk the whole thing including climbing the tower in 30 minutes or fewer, but you could also spend a whole morning or afternoon just exploring , bird watching, nature observation including a gator sighting if you’re lucky! Plenty of shaded resting areas. My only gripe was a completely full trash can at the end and a few pieces of trash likely brought and left by an inconsiderate or inattentive guest just out of reach over the boardwalk rail. Please please pack it out and LEAVE NO TRACE!
Daniel V — Google review
It’s beautiful. Reminds me of the book “Where the Crawdads Sings.” In the middle of the trail it divides into two paths and the Fire Tower is on the left side . Earth is beautiful even in its ugliest forms.
M A — Google review
NO DOGS You do NEED a pass to be on the boardwalk, if you already have a fishing pass then it counts but if not you can pay just for a day pass that’s 15 dollars or a year for 30, if not you can get fined There is also a information center but not sure when they keep it open. Beautiful walk with little information signs along the way with benches if you need to rest The top of the tower did have many hornets flying about so be careful

The facility proved challenging to locate and lacked parking assistance for attendees of the stage play. However, once inside the well-maintained theater, greeters were helpful in guiding seating arrangements. The venue did not enforce a mask mandate but maintained a comfortable room temperature. The seats provided excellent comfort, making the play "Anit Misbehavin" worth the initial difficulties encountered. The cast delivered amazing performances, showcasing their talent and eliciting laughter from the audience.
We came to the peach state summer theater production of Annie. The cast did a wonderful job. 2024 was a great season!
Betty W — Google review
Went to see the Patsy Cline musical, it was nice the lead actress/singer was phenomenal. Seen her last year in another musical which she was also amazing in. The show is about Patsy Cline's music, talks a little about her life, the band and backup singers were great as well. It runs for 1 1/2 hr, something nice to do on a Sunday afternoon. They currently have 3 musicals: Patsy Cline, Little Shop of Horrors and The Wizard of Oz , would highly recommend if, you like the theater.
Ally L — Google review
We went to the opening of PSST, 25th Annual Putnam Speling Bee...it was perfection! Excellent job by Hank and the entire crew and cast. Can't wait to go see Annie and 5 Guys Named Moe
Judy R — Google review
Peach State Summer Theatre is an entertainment bargain. It's easy to purchase tickets, and the seating is comfortable. Always a nice selection of shows for the summer and the performances are very professional.
Ginger T — Google review
The Wednesday July 13 Cinderella performance just got over. For the talented leads in this musical, and their supporting cast, all were excellent. But the audience, and the over 150 children that were in attendance, that was not excellent. VSU should have known better than to ask or allow children's groups to attend this Cinderella performance. This version of the fairy tale was not at all the typical Cinderella story, and it was not at all based at a level for children to understand. Unfortunately, what you did do by inviting these children groups, was effectively ruin our afternoon by having your adult audience be constantly interrupted and distracted by children who should not have been in the audience. This decision regarding children in attendance was very short-sighted of you, and although we are often at Peach State summer stock theater shows, what you should have disclosed....before we bought our tickets, was just who was going to be in the audience that afternoon so we could have made our own decision if we wanted to be subjected to disruptive and squirming elementary school children while trying to enjoy our show. What a way to ruin and absolutely fine performance. All of you should have known better at Peach State summer stock theater. Try putting your heads together the next time you want to give children an idea of what theater is like. Consider doing a children's production just for children and at a much more appropriate time... and follow the normal storyline so they might actually be interested and pay attention.
Sheryl E — Google review
An amazing ensemble of talent, this theater puts on first rate productions do not hesitate to buy a ticket and enjoy yourself.
Christine P — Google review
Ever in the mood for broadway quality stage performances with the same quality talent but at a fraction of the cost, without traveling to the Big Apple 🍎 ? Nestled in the heart of Valdosta, John W. Saunders Memorial Park is a delightful green oasis that caters to both relaxation and recreation. This park boasts an array of amenities including a vibrant playground for children, newly constructed basketball courts for sports enthusiasts, and an inviting amphitheater perfect for community events or leisurely gatherings. Nature lovers will appreciate the scenic trails winding through lush landscapes, ideal for biking or strolling while soaking in the beauty around you.
I got say, this beautiful recreation ground made me feel so grateful and warm inside. Where I'm from, we can't afford to be warm inside and omfortable. My city is always busy and crowded with noise, how I know? We're the ones who originated #BumpinMusic305. So imagine, every 6 out of 10 cars playing loud music. Noise🫡💯

I was visiting Valdosta for the 1st time and in my down time I came here to take a walk. It's a pretty park, it has nice, easy paved trails and it's clean. However- I was fairly concerned at the thought of someone in the woods with an air rifle. Seeing that promptly ended my walk.
Aja E — Google review
Had little kids that I needed to burb Some energy while on a road trip. The playground is okay- def just for little kids. Restrooms were locked. You can tell the park is def maintained and I think it would be great to use for the walking trails, but not the best playground for kids as they got bored fairly quickly. Tons of shade, and one thing I did like was that there were a lot of pavilions that were covered. Not sure if a lot of events are held here, it would be perfect for birthday parties.
Kayla L — Google review
3 stars is generous and it’s only because we have visited in the past and had good experiences. We stop by this park on the way to the beach or on the way home to let our kids play and get some energy out. Normally we have no issues. This year there was garbage all over the place and the bathrooms were closed. Thankfully one porta potty was provided, but we like to use actual bathrooms considering we have small children that sometimes need help. These pictures are from me sitting at one bench and it’s not even all the trash we see.
Hillarie B — Google review
Wonderful trail in the woods that the kids enjoyed with different types of trees to talk about and see. The play ground had some shade, but not enough to make all the areas accessable. Why do so many playgrounds go cheap on sun coverage? It's impossible for the kids to enjoy and a turn off for the family to stop.
Michael A — Google review
Visiting Park today while waiting on my cat's to be fixed I must say very nice and clean will be coming back from Albany Georgia
Darnella T — Google review
One of my favorite parks thus far. The kids and I love the nature trails and there are shelters/cabins that you can sit at and plug things up. They have a covered picnic area which is huge and two different bathroom areas. It's a very beautiful park.
Jessica S — Google review
We rode our bikes on the little trails in the woods and it was very well taken care of. Actually the whole park is well taken care of... Even the bathrooms! That speaks VOLUMES!! They have gazebo's you can rent to have birthday parties or whatever. They are covered in gazebos with a couple of picnic tables and a grill. Also has a water spicket too so everyone can wash their hands or whatever. Very nice park!! ❤️

Really big nice auditorium for local performances. Very big backstage area with lots of dressing rooms and bathrooms. Entrance to back stage is around the right side of the building all the way down last door on the left. You can also get to the auditorium seating area 1 door before that on the left or the main lobby area is the first door down on the left.
